Extremely pleased from the salesman to the installation. The windows are a quality product and the installers were professional and clean up was perfect. You never knew they were here. We did need to wait 4 months, but they did call to keep us advised of the time frame. A+.

Great Customer Service from initial estimate all the way through to final installation and inspection. Price was very competitive with other manufacturers we interviewed and compared with. Installation was quick, professional and with a great clean-up. All service techs were extremely knowledgeable and helpful throughout the process. Outstanding service all the way around.

I must say I was reluctant to spend this amount but weighed my options and pulled the trigger. The install ended up being weeks if not months sooner than expected, on the install day, Danny called and I met him at the house with the rest of his team. I work a mile from home so I left him there, I stopped back at lunch and they had 2 windows left to do. They finished and had all 9 windows in and were ready to leave. I went back other than the clean up could have been a little better for the most part it was fine. As for the windows themselves, I noticed that day the AC turned on less so the efficiency is great and over the weekend when the temp on Sunday morning was 41, with no heat on I went to bed with the house at 72, woke up and it was 68 in the house, with the old windows I was dropping almost 20 degrees overnight not 4.

The entire process was smooth and painless. The installers were very professional and helpful. I love the windows and door. They are so much better than the original ones we had. Absolutely a great experience from start to finish. We couldn’t be happier with our window purchase. All of our interactions with this company were absolutely flawless. Lifetime warranty for the original owner that includes glass and screen. So if the neighbor's lawn mower throws a rock through then it gets replaced.

Tyler and Michele came and did a fantastic job. Could not have been more efficient and professional. They were running late, but called to inform us, and then arrived prior to the new time. They took care in removing the old frames and were very thorough, explains the rest of the finishing process.

The last day that the installers were here, they were here till 10:00 that night and it was tiring having them in our home that length of time. The installation team was two guys and there were four windows. They had to keep cutting stuff off the windows. I was tired and I just wanted them to leave. Then, when they were gonna leave, they wanted us to pay them, and we said no. It said on our contract when the job is complete. It's not complete. The installer said, "My part is." I said, "Well, that's not the whole job." They also got all this material by each window they say that they have to put on to cover up the screws and all that stuff is still laying on the floor here. Now, we're trying to get them to come back because the inspectors have been here since the 8th and we want them to take the labels off the windows. But, we love the NewSouth windows.

We are very happy with the window and door products, the quality is exceptional. The office staff is very polite and we always, always appreciated their assistance. We were very impressed with the installers: punctual, polite, went right to work and were very focused on the installation of windows and doors, cleaned up before they left each day. Likewise, we were very impressed with our punch-out professional who came back to tweak some issues. A French door that refuses to remain completely open is an issue that our punch-out pro twice said could not be corrected; that is disappointing since it opens to an exterior atrium porch.
The 4 vs 5 stars comes communication issues we experienced between the office and field. We found if we had questions, requests, items added to existing service tickets, we had to constantly follow-up to make sure our concerns were being communicated and seen by those who had the authority to act. With diligence on our part, everything was addressed to our satisfaction with the exception of the swinging French door that has a mind of its own. We contracted in late August 2021 with installation early December. NSW is a professional business that offers a great product. We will not hesitate to use them again.

The two installer went quick and efficient while keeping the workspace clean. Props to the installer who made the caulking around the window look great. It was a extra 3 month to wait from the date given middle of November and installed first week of February. End result it is quite and I am very satisfied.

The sales rep, John, was very informative and hands-on. He stayed in touch with me through the whole way and through the installation, even though he's not in it. He’s still following up with me now to make sure even the post-installation inspections are going well. The installation was very quick and easy. There are so many windows in our house and the thought of removing and replacing every window in my house almost seems like an engineering impossibility, let alone one that they could do in almost two days. They came in with three teams of people and had all hands on deck. They were in and out of here in two and a half days and probably could have been done in two days if we weren't in their way. So, it was amazing.
Also, on the second and third days, it rained horribly and they did an amazing job cleaning up after themselves under a non-ideal situation, given the rain and dirt and what they're doing. When they were done, our house was clean and I was surprised. I thought we would be cleaning up for months. I bought 83 windows from NewSouth Window Solutions and the quality is fantastic. They’re gorgeous, very pretty, sturdy, stable and enhance the value of our house.

I ordered custom windows after consult/estimate on 11/29/21. New windows and sliding door were installed on 02/02/22. They are solidly built and beautiful. Love the versatility, too; they open from top or bottom and tilt in for easy cleaning (full screens on outside of windows). Locks can prevent full opening if you choose to engage them. Installers were very efficient and professional.

It took about seven weeks to make the windows. But they got them installed really well and really quickly. But I thought when I bought the windows that it’d be double-pane, which they are and they would knock out some of this road noise, but it didn’t help a bit. I’ve called them about it and they won’t put another pane over this. They want another $10,000 to do that.

I liked the sales rep of NewSouth. He was very thorough. Overall, it was a good experience. Just other than having a little inconvenience, there was one window that showed up broken that they had to reorder, and one that showed up the wrong size. It took a few more weeks for those to get produced and delivered and installed. I'm also still waiting on some final trim work to be done.

Their customer service was good. The rep came in and explained everything to us really well and got the ball rolling. The installers were good, too. Left it just as clean as it was when they came. It took a long time to get our windows, but I think that's a problem with the supply of getting everything they need to do them.

Windows are well made and installation people were very professional and did a great job in removing old windows and replacing new windows by corking and if there were minor damage they were able to sparkle in areas they needed to be fixed. They also cleaned up very well.

I did six or seven windows on the front of the house and they look nice. The upstairs is better insulated. I'm curious to see how it's going to be in the summertime ‘cause that's when it's really hot upstairs.

We got off to a little bit of a shaky start w NewSouth Windows because of communication issues. We had a large window that had inside shutters and the reps were supposed to let us know whether or not they can do what we wanted without removing the shutters. But they communicated that to us. When we finally touched base with them to see what was going on, the windows were all of a sudden already ordered and things were going forward without anybody getting back to us, telling us that it wouldn't be an issue. We weren't happy about that. But the installation people were great and did a good job. Everything went well. They need to come back and put some buttons in where the screw holes are because the inspector was here but I haven't heard from that yet, either.

The sales rep that I dealt with was very nice. He came with the ability to answer any question that I have. He presented the product in a timely manner and he had pictures of other people's windows and other installations. He had some references. I know that all of us only carry the references of people that love us, but I also felt like many of the people that had bought the windows that he had talked to were people that were sitting right on the water where I am not. So if they felt better about using someone who could withstand 200-mile an hour winds off the gulf, I felt pretty good about that too.
NewSouth exceeded my expectations from the very beginning, explaining what was going to happen and about the windows. They were about four weeks ahead of time in making a delivery of the windows. So, that made me very happy. The gentleman and his son who installed the windows were excellent and helpful in every way. But they had forgotten to make a screw for one of my windows so when the gentleman came back to finish putting the trim pieces on, he also made the screw and there was no problem. Nobody sat on their phone the whole time they were here.

We had impact windows installed in our home. The work and quality of product chosen were excellent. The only negative is the final payment is required before inspection and before final service. Our windows passed inspection, but could have been a very difficult situation due to the next service date was weeks after the inspection.

NewSouth’s customer service was excellent. The reps paid attention to what the customer has to say, what the customer's needs are and what the customer's thoughts about the whole process are, and explained how it was gonna take place. All those things make a difference to customers. One thing they could improve on though is the ability of the installer to speak a little bit more English. One of them didn’t speak English at all but he was very conscientious and professional. We got through it.

The people who did the installation seemed good and knew what they were doing. But the door had a small dent on the edge. You couldn't see it when you close the door but once you open it, it was right there. I don't see how professional people like that could have put it in and not seen it. The techs came out and they patched it with some epoxy. The doors were over $7,000 and there's supposed to be a lifetime 100% warranty. First, I waited 12 weeks and they brought the door out but it was too big. I waited another six to eight weeks and they came out and installed it. The door is beautiful and working fine but it looks crappy.

Great Products. Significantly quieter in the house after installation. Helps to maintain a more consistent temperature throughout the house. Very satisfied with the installation. Professional install crew. Sliding glass doors are heavy duty, and well built. The glass doors slide easily and are very attractive. The windows are well built and open easily. Careful installation protected and preserved the ADT Security System wiring and the mounting system for the existing window plantation shutters. Attentive and accommodating office staff. After looking at multiple companies we are glad we chose New South Windows.

The installation would have been sooner had I not been out of town for the summer. But they came when they were supposed to. The people who did it did a wonderful job. They seemed very knowledgeable. The only thing that I would have wished is that the price was not so high. They're very expensive and it was difficult for me to get the money together to pay for them.

Updated on 02/22/2022: This my 3rd install by New South of 5 windows installed on 2/16/22 by Lamby and Yamira. The job was something New South can be proud of, windows installed perfect, no rush. Made sure each window was perfect, no dust or mess inside the house, great to deal with, caulking perfect, very refreshing watching them work. From my past experience New South should let them train their Installers. They are an example of perfection of their profession.
Original Review: I have been dealing with New South since 2016 and just placed my 3rd order with Iswar.. Their product is the best even though their installers are lacking any problems or mistakes are followed up and fixed to customer satisfaction..

We used NewSouth Window Solutions to replace a sliding glass door. They were very responsive and professional from the first appointment with our salesman to the final installation. An added bonus was that our door came in much quicker than was estimated -something that just doesn't happen these days.

I had double-hung windows installed. The crew called ahead of time and said they'd be there in about 30 or 40 minutes and they showed up on time. They told me what they were gonna do. They talked everything over, had their trash cans out, and went to work. The only issue I had was that I tried to get ahold of the sales rep after the windows were installed because a couple of screws on the latch wasn't working right and he never returned my calls. Then I got ahold of the office there on 290. At first, they were having issues trying to hire somebody when I called a couple of times. They kept saying they were gonna send somebody out and they never did. Finally, I called one more time, and the lady there gave me the gentleman's number that was doing the warranty work. He came out, did his thing, and it's been fine ever since. I like my new windows a lot and I've already told neighbors about NewSouth.

We live in Florida so our windows have to be hurricane-proof. I said to the rep, "Okay, I know these windows won't break. But what prevents them from blowing out?" So, he told me that you use Tapcon screws. He knew more about the product and the installation. So, I felt most comfortable with him. Our installer, Justin, was very nice. He was clean and prompt. I've told people about NewSouth because it's a great product.

I went with the competition two years ago before NewSouth really got established down here. They put in my windows and and they were very expensive. Then recently, when NewSouth's guy came in and handed me the price of what it'd cost me, it was half of what the other company had quoted. So, I went ahead and hired them. The windows were installed very professionally and timely. We also have no problems at all with the door but when you put the slightest pressure on the screen door, it pumps out of the screen. We were expecting somebody to contact us to ask us something, then we were going to say something about it. Other than that, their products are of excellent quality.

We recently had13 windows replaced by New South Windows. What a great experience! Not only were our windows ready ahead of schedule but they were installed very quickly. The sales rep, Jim, was wonderful, and we loved him. He answered all our questions and was patient. We then had two friendly guys out here for the installation. They went to work, and there wasn't no messing around. They replaced eight windows and a sliding glass door. I would highly recommend NewSouth. If you've got a rental house, you want to just replace a window, but these windows are for life. We had a lot of work done to our home over the past year, and this was the final step. It's a commitment, but it's definitely worth the money. We're getting older, and we still live in the same place.
Hurricanes blow things around, and that's another reason why we wanted to get something so strong and sturdy. Last week, the county inspector came out and said, “Yes, your windows are good.” So today at 2 o'clock, NewSouth is going to make their last trip out here and do the finishing touches, put the slats in the window. It's mostly pretty stuff, but they had to leave the screws exposed so the inspector can see them. I'm very happy.

From the time the sales rep came to show us the window samples to installation, we are extremely pleased with everything. The installation was done from 11/18/21 to 11/20/21, just as promised. The sales rep from NewSouth was very good but the installation didn't go as good. We failed our first inspection, then they had to come back out to repair things and we finally got passed by the inspector the second time. But we're still waiting on them to come out and put on the caps and covers and deal with any issues like rescreening.

We bought the windows and sliding doors on 6/25/21. They were installed on 9/28/21 as communicated to us. Window and door quality is great! The inspection failed - screws on all 3 sliding doors were not screwed in flush and one window was missing a third screw on each side. We were not happy that the repair job was not given any priority and we had to wait an additional 4 weeks after the installation. Otherwise, everyone was pleasant to work with and professional.

The salesman was something else. He spent all day at my house and wouldn't take no for an answer. I bought three doors and eight windows, and the installation went real fast. The guys were clean too. The products are very expensive but they have good quality. I’ll definitely use NewSouth again.

I was very pleased that NewSouth Windows was very punctual. They left the place clean too. We had a little problem with the sash but they replaced it. The screens are coming in on the 9th and I'm getting ready to do my rebate with TECO. The company did a very nice job. I just got my warranty back in the mail. My sister's gonna go ahead and do her windows with them too. The only thing was they told me that three of the windows have a ticket of inspection. One of the windows didn't bring it so I had to take a picture. But they told me that maybe I can call and they'll send it over.

It's been almost a year since we purchased windows for our house, and we're still trying to get our last window installed. NewSouth kept messing up, and we are almost seven months out from the day the installation started. For one of our windows, the person didn't have measurements. They ordered something, and it wasn't even the correct shape for our house, so they couldn't install that one. NewSouth said they were gonna rush it and they did, but it was sized incorrectly. They then sent somebody else to measure it, and they ordered a new window and installed it, but it was, again, the incorrect size. It was crooked too. They, again, ordered another window. We've had seven attempts for them to install it. There was also a previous time where people kept canceling instead of showing up. This time they sent out three people, none of whom had ladders so they couldn't get to the window. It's been terrible.
The person I've worked with at NewSouth, the woman at the office, has been absolutely fabulous. She has been working with us to try to resolve this the entire way, but I don't know what is going on with everybody trying to get this window installed. There are a lot of little things that went wrong, too. I've been trying to get the hole covers for our windows for a while. We don't have any of those, so we just have these little black holes in our windows. We had a couple of the child safety stoppers that were broken, which is a minor thing, but we're still waiting for it. We had two screens that were installed that were broken or ripped, that we discovered after the fact. It's possible that we ripped them, but I don't know how we would have, 'cause we didn't have the windows open.
We also had another quality issue. The windows pull open so one can clean them, and we can't get one of those to open at all. We've had a bunch of problems with it. We really are happy with the windows that are installed, but it's been a big fight the entire way. Even right now, we were supposed to have somebody come out the week before Thanksgiving. Had him scheduled, waited around all day, ended up having to cancel. He rescheduled, then finally showed up, and he didn't have a ladder. At this point, we still don't have another install date, and we've reached out three times. The window is here, and we cannot get someone to install it.
We would like to sincerely apologize for the issues you have experienced during your installation. Unfortunately, short of removing the current window and measuring the wall, window measurement isn't an exact science and from time to time our method proves incorrect. But rather than trying to make an incorrectly sized window work, we'd rather try again and get it right. Please know our team is working diligently to get your project back on track and your feedback has been shared with our team. I was amazed with NewSouth. They wanted to show up the next day and I said I couldn't have them then. I hadn't moved anything as far as blinds, so I scheduled for the day after, a Wednesday. I had all my stuff moved out away, then on Wednesday, I was waiting on them to show up. It was 9 o'clock, and they still weren't here yet, so I called the office. "They'll be there in a minute." Before I hung up the phone, they were there.
We had the 10 windows replaced, which isn't a whole lot, but the gentlemen who showed up had all the windows out and the new ones in by 1:30. By 2:30, they were caulking and trimming. At 5 o'clock that same day, everything was done and cleaned up to a very high standard. I couldn't find one or two tiny little pieces of sheet metal or the little strip of plastic they wrap things with. I said, "Wow." They did a nice job, and I'm very happy with it.

Great experience from start to finish. From AD, the salesman who made suggestions and recommendations, to the finish. Once we signed the contract Emily, in the office, was there to answer all our questions. Sheldon and his coworker were great. They completed our window install in one day in spite of having to wait out one of our summer storms. They were installed perfectly. The cleaning crew were very good and did a great job cleaning up the windows. Finally, since there was a minor amount of damage from removing my old windows, JC and his son Gencarlo were great. The drywall and stucco patches were perfect. I highly recommend New South and their employees and sub contractors!

We appreciated the sales rep that came out here and the quality of the windows seemed to be what we wanted. The experience with the sales rep was fantastic. Everybody that we spoke to was very nice, and polite. The installation team was professional. But we weren't shown how the windows work and how they are locked. They also did some damage to the brick of our house. We're still waiting on NewSouth to contact us or tell us what their solution is for that.
We have also had issues with the windows from day one and we are not happy at all. Our windows don't stay up when you lift them up. NewSouth already had to send technicians out here once and they tried to fix the windows with balancers. If you lift the windows up now, you can barely get your hand out of the way before they slam down on your hands. The technicians are supposed to come out again on Thursday. So far, we're very dissatisfied.

The salesman was good. He told me what I got was a turnkey operation. He said, "If things needed to be moved in the house, don't worry about it, Michael. We'll move it." I was a bit disappointed the day they arrived as I had to sign a document that says that they were not responsible for any of that. Also, if anything got damaged, it was not their responsibility. There were blinds and some furniture that needed to be moved.
But nothing got broken and the people who came were incredibly friendly and nice. On the first day, there were four people to install the windows and they did a good job. But when they first got here, they had to rip out the old windows and they were using a knife and cutting around the edges so that the paint would not be ripped away from the walls, framing, or trim. As time went by, they blew that process off and started ripping the windows out. So, now, I have to have a painter touch everything up, inside and outside.
Also, on the second morning, only two people showed up. So a two-day job turned into a three-day one because those two people were hustling like crazy to try to get it finished. And when it came to cleaning the windows, they did a poor job. So, I'm going to have to either hire somebody or clean the windows myself. Other than that, the quality of the windows is terrific.
We would like to apologize for any miscommunication there may have been as all of our contracts do state that we do not remove window treatments or furniture. We have passed along your feedback to our production team and it will be used to further train our installers. I was gonna get my front, upstairs, and downstairs windows done. NewSouth was the most reasonably priced. Plus, they were listed as number one in this area. My sales rep was very personable. He knew what he's doing and had a history and background in putting in windows. I got 11 windows with white frames. They look good and some of them are so high.
The first group that came made a mistake in measuring one of the windows. That was the highest peak. A second group had to come back and redo that one. They also weren't as tidy as the others were. There were lots of plastic shavings and some glass. You're sitting and going through the flowerbed when suddenly, you have a piece of glass in your hand. There were little shards of glass about 2 inches long and half an inch wide. This might have been left by the first group but I really noticed it on the second group of guys. They seemed like they were not part of everybody else. They just seemed different. Other than that, they did what they needed to do in the rain. Everybody was very nice and worked well.

Everything went well with NewSouth and the windows were very nice but the install process wasn’t as advertised. When they called to schedule, the reps came in ahead super early, which was awesome because we weren't expecting the windows until November. The guy called and he said that the windows were in and asked if we wanted to install. I said I wasn’t sure when to do the install and he asked if it could be the next day. We work from home so we were able to be home for that but I specifically asked how long the install was going to take. He said it would be in and out in one day.
Three days later, it still wasn't done. Normally, it's not a big deal. But I have a two-year-old and it was a lot of chaos in the house for three days. It took a little longer and there were a couple things that we thought that they were gonna do that didn't get done. But the gentleman was very nice. They worked hard to get it done and get it done right. From what the installer told us, it took so long because the person who came and did our measurements either didn't measure correctly or didn't put down the information correctly. So, the guys had to do a lot of extra work to get them installed. Then, it took a couple of weeks for the stucco people to come out and finish up the exterior framing of the windows.
I would recommend NewSouth but people should be realistic about the installation and realize that their house will be in disarray. There was a lot of after-construction dust that I didn't anticipate because they had to cut so much of the stuff to get the windows to fit. Some of the expectations were off but we are a very fortunate family and we were able to pull that kind of money, no problem, at a moment's notice. But if we weren't able to pay for it at that time when they called, that would have been a little bit more stressful.

I only replaced three windows on the front, which was all I could afford to do right now. It took about two months for NewSouth to get the windows made but once they got them, they came out and did them in a day's time. So, it was fine with me and I was in no hurry. The new windows look a lot better. Other than that, I got the ones that if you stand outside, you can't see inside except at night. We don't have any curtains up yet so that helps. Once I get the windows paid off, I plan on going back with them again to get new ones. I would advise anybody else, too.

I got several bids and NewSouth Windows was the best one that was around. The crew came and they were in and out in no time. They got everything set up, cleaned up, and left. It was just that I tried to call the salesman several times and he never returned my calls. I also called the office to ask them if there were any additional discounts and they did not return my calls. As far as the service, it wasn't that hot. But as far as the windows, the quality was fine.

After 23 years of living with builder installed windows and doors, we had NSWindows replace 14 windows, our triple sliding glass door, and a pool bath door. Wish we had done this sooner. Well built product. The installation crew works only for NSWindows and they were fantastic. Communication with the office staff was good throughout the project as well. When the City of Oviedo inspector came out to do the final and realized we used NSWindows, he said "Great Choice. I will still look at everything, but I already know they did a perfect job." Everyone should use NSWindows.

We had single pane windows installed in each room. The people who installed them were terrific. We kept extra water and Gatorade for them because it was so hot when they were working. But they were very friendly and courteous. They did the work really quickly. So far, the windows have proven really great. The house is a lot cooler than it ever was.

The guy across the street told me about NewSouth and I liked the way they did his roof. The installers came and took the windows out and put the new ones in. But I have one that is not right. They're coming next week to certify the windows and I'm going to show them. But then I've already shown the neighbors and the guy already got his roof and told me that I'm going to get $150.

I purchased slider windows from NewSouth and they're very good quality. I like the fact that these are vinyl windows as compared to aluminum. Previous experience in the climate here with a lot of salt air, the aluminum, even though it may be anodized, may be powder-coated with the passage of time and begin deteriorating, whereas the vinyl will not. The installer was in and out in half a day and they were extremely courteous, prompt, efficient, and did a great job in a very expeditious period of time. I have already made recommendations to others. I have also reported to the company, the local representatives here, my satisfaction and appreciation for not only the product, but also the workmanship of the man who came to do the work.

The entire experience was pleasant. The installation crew did an outstanding job. The windows look great. The thermal barrier and noise isolation are already making a difference in our home. Our a/c runs a lot less frequently with the new windows. With luck, we won't have to try out the impact feature any time soon. It seemed like it was a long time between when we ordered the windows and when they came in, but the whole country’s on backorder so that’s just normal. Scheduling installation though, there was a lot of back and forth. They kept wanting to move the date up with no notice. I wanted an appointment where I could take time off of work, but they would call and say they had a cancellation, can they do it today. They did that three times. Other than that, the installers did a fair job, and I like our new windows. They’re definitely better than what I had, and overall, I’m happy. Everything is good.

The salesman from NewSouth Window Solutions did a great job and answered all my questions, not only for me, but for my daughter, too. The installers were really nice. I'm still waiting for a couple of things to be fixed, so everything's not done. One of the clasps on one of the windows was installed and the piece is broken. Another window was installed, but it's the wrong window, so I'm waiting for that to be replaced. Then on the front door, I have to call them because as they did it, I noticed a gap and the way they fixed it was to just put a shim between the weather-stripping, which is not acceptable. I’m just concerned at the things that still need to be done, but I would recommend them because I had a door replaced in a previous home and this was heads above what I went through with that company. Also, I'm impressed with the quality of the items purchased.

We decided to use New South Window Solutions for our window replacement project in January 21. The sales representative did a great job of demonstrating the quality of the windows. He did however misrepresent some of the services that would be provided by New South and the coordinating of such services after the installation.
The installation team was fantastic and met all of our expectations. Customer service and communication after the installation was subpar, we had to initiate communication to have the punch list completed and the final caulking and cleaning after the city inspection. The maintenance team that finally came and finished the installation did an outstanding job as well. Our overall experience is a satisfactory score. If New South would improve its customer service communication and project manager interface with the client, I think they would greatly improve their company.

Overall, disappointed with New S. Windows follow up and quality control with their products. We signed sales contract to replace all the windows in the house on 8/14/20 and was warned that it would take a couple months for the windows to be made in factory due to pandemic. There were no calls by New South to update me on time frame so I finally called in November after 3 months wait. After a couple attempts, they finally said my windows were on the truck shipment from Tampa and then we were able to set up installation date for 12/10/20. They finished installation on 12/11/20 but there was no walk thru with a service tech to check everything. I made a punch list of 2 missing screens in master bedroom, small tears in multiple screens, windows not opening smoothly, plugs missing and called it in.
When they sent out a tech in Dec, he made a even longer list of items that needed to be addressed and did not know to bring the missing screens even though I had called and reported it. On 1/6/21, another service tech had to reorder 2 new windows because the installer techs cracked both frames when they installed them but didn't bother to tell anyone. He also had to reorder a new arch window due to a defective frame that's very obvious on the outside (which they should've caught before installing it) and reorder ALL the screens because they were all too short and include the missing screens for the master.
Each time a new window is ordered, there is at least an 8 week waiting period for it to be manufactured by the factory in Tampa. If the installer techs had been honest and admitted their mistakes when they first installed, the windows could've been ordered in December and not 4 weeks later in Jan when the service tech came out. It seems that on multiple occasions when I would call the company to inform them of issues that needed to be fixed like missing screens, there's no communication between the company and the technicians. The items that needed to be ordered only occurred if the service technicians would write them down on a service ticket when they came out to the house. So now I had to wait until next service date of 3/29/21 to replace the 3 defective windows and reset the master bedroom window at the same time.
The master window was sagging in the middle because they didn't apply the right amount of pressure during installation. After they reset the master window, I noticed it was still sagging in the middle slightly and asked the service tech if that was normal. He looked at it more closely and then said that the middle sash needed to be replaced due to bottom rubbing is bowed so he put it on the service ticket along with ordering a 12" vinyl jamb cover (it was cracked when they put in the new arch window during this service call). Now I had to wait another 8 weeks for the new sash to arrive.
On 5/24/21 a different service tech came to replace the new sash but when he pulled it out of his truck, there was a scratch on it and he couldn't use it anyway. He looked at the master window and said as long as there's no leaks, the window should be fine. He said if I have a problem with it later on, I can always call for someone to come out. So I decided to leave it alone because I don't want anyone else to mess up the window worse and have to take more time off work for them to do the job. He of course didn't have the 12' jam cover on his truck as ordered on the previous ticket and now I had to make another service appointment.
Finally on 8/3/21, almost a year after I signed the sales contract, another service technician came to replace the jam cover. When I asked about the previous tech, he said the previous one had quit and left the company. The original one that had come to my house a few times and had the most experience had switched to a different job in the company and no longer did installation. The service technicians were all wonderful and very courteous, but my biggest frustration is the poor communication and lack of quality control with their product. Look at how many times I had to take time off work to have the service techs come out for issues that I had communicated but they weren't done on that one visit. This is unacceptable.
In addition, I had to delay installation of my new window treatments for 4 months and had to have the window treatment company come out a 2nd time to install the blinds AFTER the windows were replaced 3/29/21 to avoid damaging the new blinds. Each time the service tech had to replace a window or come out for a service job, I had to do touch up paint around the area inside and outside. Not only that but they kept telling me they were sending the referral bonus to my neighbor and didn't know why it didn't go out to them after I called them multiple times to give them their info. They just kept giving me the same answer, "It should be processed in couple weeks. I don't know why it's still not processed. I'll look into it," and 4 weeks later they still didn't do it. I finally just told my neighbor to call them directly. The installation techs need more training and New S. Windows needs to have better follow up and quality control. Need to have a senior tech do walk thru for each job or be there while they are installing to avoid issues.

From our records, we do see that your job has been completed and we hope you see our efforts to correct the situation. I've had a great experience with NewSouth. Salesman came to the house at the appointed time. Sales presentation was made showing the quality of their windows. There were comparisons with other brands but not bashing others. I was told the wait would be 11-14 wks, I think they arrived before the 11th week. Installation for 9 windows and 1 sliding glass door too under 8 hours. Installation was smooth. A follow up visit was done to put in all of trim pieces around the windows. NewSouth wasn't the cheapest quoted but I'm glad I chose them. I'm impressed with the quality.

We got wind storm windows from NewSouth Window and we have a door on the way. The quality seems to be fabulous. The sales rep was a little slow at getting back at first but everything was fine after that. The installers were very efficient and careful. They cleaned up as they went and made sure to cover everything. NewSouth Window did a great job and I recommend them. We hadn't tested them in a storm but they look nice.

Ed was very friendly and pleasant. Inspected all windows and performed touch ups to caulking, etc. as necessary and added screw covers to the French doors. Best part of follow up process was the fact that he scrapped and cleaned all the windows to ensure any sticker residue had been removed.

The product was great and we are more than happy with our decision to completely replace all of our windows with your product. What we were not happy with is the time it took from the start of the contract to the final installment which was over 20 months. Although New South did make several attempts to correct the situation it was still a very long, nerve-wracking experience.

The sales reps from NewSouth Window answered all our questions and I didn’t have any concerns because they explained everything from start to finish. We replaced all the windows in our house and the timeframe was 16 to 20 weeks from start to finish. The installation was only eight weeks after we got approval from the HOA. The installers came out and installed the windows, cleaned up and left. They were very good and professional. Since having the new windows, I noticed that we don’t hear the wind howling anymore when it's so windy outside with all the rain and when my husband cuts the grass, I don't have grass sitting on my window sills inside of my house anymore.

The people at NewSouth were very professional, especially the office ladies. One of them said that all she really does is billing for the most part. But she answered the phone one day, and she went out of her way to see if the windows were ready for me. I appreciated her very much. She even called me back after hours, which was amazing. But when you push up the bottom dining room window, it doesn't stay up. My husband was looking at it and it looks like there's some little thing that connects to something else that wasn't connected. The windows in the bathroom are obscured glass but a couple of them look a little cloudy. But overall, from what I'm seeing, it’s a major improvement over what we had. So I'm very happy in that regard.

We had all the windows in the house replaced because they were all contractor's windows that were installed when the house was built. They were almost impossible to open so we decided to have them all replaced at once instead of a piece at a time. The only thing we ran into was the ballast. Two of them were inappropriate because when the windows went up, they came back down. We told NewSouth about it and they promptly fixed them.
The time that we initially took out for the contract was about six months. However, there was a difficulty with the coronavirus and managing the people who put the windows. So, that was an understandable quality and once NewSouth started, the reps installed them in one day's time. The new windows appeared to be more energy-efficient. They also open and close a whole lot easier. Our next-door neighbor who went with NewSouth was very satisfied, which was why we went with them as well. They did good work and followed up on every complaint that our neighbor had and it was the same with us.

The salesman was very informative, gave all the different options, and it sold my wife. We had three gentlemen come out and they were very professional. They said they would come in around 8:30 and they were here at 8. I said, "About how long is this going to take you?" The guy said they'll be done by around 4:00 and they were. They did an excellent job. They did one window at a time and cleaned up right afterwards. There was no mess left.
My wife works at home and in the afternoon, her office would heat up because of the sun hitting the old windows even with shades on. With our new windows, she could tell the difference within the first day. I recommend NewSouth Window Solutions. In fact, my one neighbor's interested. He came up and talked to the installers when they were putting them in.

I'm really happy with the windows. But we had a problem with the installation. The crew left a lot of pieces of concrete under the furniture and a lot of dust inside. The other thing is that I was supposed to sign up to get the windows financed. All of a sudden, one day, they call and they said they can't get it financed. So I paid them. When the salesman came to get the check, I told him to go in the back and put the Venetian blinds back up but he didn't do a good job of doing that and left everything hanging and all knotted up. He somehow got in my little remote-controlled floor cleaner which is a $500 unit. He had that thing all apart and the cleaning roller on the lower part of that was missing. It was unbelievable. Be very careful when you order NewSouth. Get at least three bids on the job.

NewSouth was giving really good rates. I got doors and windows from them and up until now, my experiences with their reps have been great. I don't have a problem with people who don't speak English but when I do have a problem and we cannot communicate, then that is a problem. The installers never introduced themselves and didn't do what had been done in the past. There was an issue with one of the windows. When I put it down, a little piece should click into the framework but it did not. I should not have to push anything but I did. I sent the two techs back out and they insisted there was no problem. I told them that if there's no problem, I would not have a picture. They redid the whole window and there was still the same problem. Every time I close it, I have to push it to get that little piece to go into the groove. I was dissatisfied.
There was another issue that really ticked me off. One of the girls that I called said she was going to call me back but she did not. I need a heads up when somebody is coming to my house because my husband has no functional speech and he cannot spell. If I have to leave this house, it's very difficult to take him. When that girl called me back, I had already called back and gotten somebody else. Other than that, I've been very happy with NewSouth's work and I will probably use them again. I've always had a good experience except for this last one.

I had sliding glass doors installed by NewSouth. They're extremely expensive, but the quality looks pretty good. It's been inspected, but the pieces haven't all been installed yet. I'm satisfied with them but I'd like to see the job completed. I still don't have my screens.

I bought a front door from NewSouth Window Solutions. Everything went smoothly. There was just a small issue where the door came chipped, but they replaced it in a couple of weeks. We signed a contract with New South Windows October 2020. Seven (7) months later, well after their agreed upon time frame of 14-26 weeks of completion, the windows and the slider doors first day of installation began. The installers were friendly yet did not 100% follow their own installation protocols. There was a thunderstorm the first two days of installation and only one window had a drop cloth. They left dirty shoe prints on new tile, new flooring, dirty walls from handling. Upon completion of the first day of installation, we first and foremost noticed the noise in addition to the mess left in the house. We inquired with the installer and he stated that he did still hear noise as well and was not sure why.
We contacted the New South Windows office and spoke with Anthony, a part of the production team, and he said as well that we should not hear noise. We also alerted Julian, the salesperson that we heard noise. Julian also reiterated that we should not hear noise and that he would be upset and would want this corrected to 100% satisfaction.
The installers returned the following day and at least mostly wore shoe covers and put down two drop cloths. With the remainder of the windows and the two slider doors installed, there was more damage to the house – new drywall broken, window frames broken, new bathroom tile broken, broken glass on new window, two broken screens, and an inferior slider door with additional drilled holes, as well as additional muddy shoe prints and dirty walls. There was also still noise to be clearly heard from all windows and slider doors. There was also shoddy workmanship of the product itself with multiple excessive caulking and mess with the windows and doors.
The installer again stated that he did not understand why he could still hear noise and could not clean all the mess off because it was too much. They used Great Stuff sealant, a cheap product around the windows and slider doors. We alerted New South Windows again that same day we were still not satisfied with their products and materials.
The company sent Cody from the production team two weeks after installation to discuss issues and after an inspection, acknowledged all the issues and just asked for payment. He said that the job was finished, and that payment was needed. The job is not finished and there are still all the issues first brought to New South Windows attention at inception. Cody said that he would speak with his boss and get back to us the next day. Cody stated that customers have held $500 and $10k from a job until completed to their satisfaction yet was not willing to take half payment from us until completed to our 100% satisfaction.
Under duress, we wrote a check because Cody promised he would be in touch the next day and we would move forward. After a week, we had not heard anything, and we put a stop payment on the forced check due to non-existent communication and shoddy product. Cody only called after the check was stopped and did not relay any information as to what was being done to correct the issues and move the job along. Cody just said that he would put the job on hold because of stop payment instead of even trying to get answers and work on correcting all the issues. That was a month ago as of this review. New South Windows stated that they had a superior product and that is not what was received. They decided to just drop the ball and not handle their responsibility to their customers nor back their own products and complete a job to 100% satisfaction.

I came down to the showroom of NewSouth and I was very satisfied with the reception I received. They showed me the samples available to me and everything went smoothly. The installation was beautiful and we're very happy with it. They did a nice job doing the door. They made the weather stripping a little too tight. I was locked out the first time I tried it. But I was able to remedy it, not come with problems. I would highly recommend NewSouth.

NewSouth windows appeared to be a greater quality. We paid more for them but from the limited research that I did, it seemed to be the higher quality of the ones that we looked at. The salesperson, Jay, was great. He answered all of our questions. He was really responsive. I talked to seven different window manufacturers to get my education on it. He was very knowledgeable, very helpful and didn't talk down the competition. He showed me different windows. It worked out well. We've still got to pass the city inspection next week and replace one of the window springs that wasn't working when they installed the windows but everything was done very well.

My windows from NewSouth are far better than what I had. The quality is really good. So far, I've noticed a significant reduction in noise and traffic and stuff like that. I no longer feel like the heat and air in the cold coming through the windows. Compared to what I had, a thin sheet of paneling in place of my original windows would have been better. So far, these new ones are excellent.

The windows from NewSouth have good quality. The installation went fairly smoothly, other than one little glitch. The men should be competent, qualified, other than they had a problem with the lock on the sliding door. They came back to repair it and that didn't go well, either. Everything’s good with my experience with NewSouth. Initially, they said it might be five months. About three months, they said, "We got your windows.” So, I was pleasantly surprised they came early. They put it in but we have one little problem. I can’t get them here to put the strips in. We're three and a half weeks away from the date to come and do that. I'm dissatisfied because it's such a small problem. They should get somebody here, snap these things in and let's be done with it. 35 days out to get these strips snapped in? That's ridiculous. My friend had this whole house done the same as I did. 30 minutes and put all these little strips in. They just snap in. Why can't they take care of that? It was an excuse. “We have six technicians. Four of them are sick.” But I love the windows. I love that I can open them up in a nice breeze. I love when I shut them. It's also quiet at night.

The NewSouth sales representative was knowledgeable about the product and the team installed the windows very well. I liked the quality of windows and the warranty. I bought the best quality that I could afford. It was August 7th when I signed the paperwork and gave the gentleman a third of my money for the windows. However, had I been told from the get-go that it would be six months out versus three months out, I would have been fine with it.
The salesman told me it would be three months, from the time that we signed and gave him a deposit to the time that the windows will be installed. About four months in, I got a call and they said, "Yeah, we're still backed up." Five months in, still nothing happened, called them again, and when I called, they said that the permit office was closed for 90 days, which I know for a fact was not true because I pull permits for a living as well.
When the inspection was scheduled, I called and said, "Hey, listen, there's some caulking missing. It fell out, it washed out, what have you." And they told me, "No, it' will be fine. It will pass inspection." The inspection failed, so we had to call for a reinspection. The guy came out and had to recaulk the windows. It could have been easily done, but I wasn't going to void any of my warranty by doing it myself. They had to come recaulk, they recaulked, inspector came out, reinspected, and finally passed inspection. It was an ordeal. It was like I was telling them what to do. And I was like, "I don't have to tell you what to do, you're supposed to tell me what you're gonna do."
In November, I was going on a trip after Thanksgiving, and I said, "Listen, I just don't want you to come at Thanksgiving, but I definitely want my windows installed by Christmas." "Oh, that's no problem. Done." They ended up coming in mid-January to install the windows. Six months deep, I finally got a call for an installation date. The salesman told me that all of the siding would be pulled off and they would redo the stem wall and the company wasn't aware that they would do that. The crew for the windows wasn't told that they had to redo the rotted out wood on the inside. So, they had to pack up and go, and then they had to make a reschedule date and come back a couple of weeks later. So, there was a lot of lack of communication between salesmen to me to the company. And they had to reschedule the installation date. I'm still not 100% done with my windows. They still have to come back and do the caps for the inside.

The sales rep of NewSouth was good. He was courteous, kind and knowledgeable. The quickness of the installation process was impressive. They were task-oriented. They got it done. However, we’re still waiting for the inspector to come. We were told not to put anything back in place or take the stickers off the window until the inspector comes. The window was put in on Wednesday, but we haven't heard anything yet.

At the time when I first started with NewSouth, when the sales representative came out, the sale was supposed to be buy two and get one free. And the representative said, "Oh, no, that's not how it works." I was like, "Well, how else could it work? 'Cause when you say buy two, get one free, that's what it's supposed to be." I ended up talking with the manager. Talking with the person was good, but you trying to tell me that buy two, get one free doesn't mean what it says, then you shouldn't be using it in your commercial.
It had been so long before I had the windows installed that someone should have come back and reviewed the stuff. That little checkoff sheet on what you're supposed to do before they come and what they're going to do and what they can't do. We should have went back over that form. If you sign a form three or four months and it takes longer to get your windows, they should go back over and review that stuff with the homeowner so that they know what it would entail.
You could sign a paper even yourself or someone else can sign a paper three or four or five months back. You're not going to remember everything on that paper that you signed. All they told me was he would take down the blinds. I don't know why they didn't down the other stuff, but he said, "You got to also take down the brackets that hold the blinds." And then, I wasn't aware that you need to leave it blinds down 24 hours. I don't remember that being on the paperwork. It was a delay between the time that I signed the paper. When I agreed to get the blinds done, and then they had some delay process with getting the windows done because of COVID, so everything took a bit longer than it normally would.
Even though you went over that checklist with me, to have someone go back and say, "Okay, you may want to review that checklist before they come out because this is what you need to do." You sign something three or four months ahead of time, you're not going to remember all that stuff. You may remember bits and pieces of it, but you're not gonna remember everything that's on that checklist. You probably didn't even think about looking at the checklist.
When I scheduled my appointment for them to do the installation, they said, "Oh, we'll be there at..." it might have been 10:00 or 9:00. But they got there almost 12:00. I called them and they said, "Oh, they're on their way." I came to find out these people are in St. Augustine. How are you going to be in Jacksonville and at St. Augustine at the same time? I said, "All you gotta do is just tell me, 'Hey, they had to go back to St. Augustine and finish the job, and then they'll be there later.'" I sat there waiting on them for two hours or so before they got to my house, then they got there almost 12:00. They kept saying they were on their way. I called the first time and talked to one of the young ladies at the office, "They should be on their way. They have to go and do this and put the stuff on the truck and they should be on their way."
Another 30 minutes, 40 minutes, then an hour went by, I called them back up and they told me the same thing, "They're on their way." How would they be on their way if they were in St. Augustine when I finally found out they were in St. Augustine? You can't be in two places at one time. They pissed me. I even talked with the guy that they had as acting manager there. He said, "I'm gonna call you right back," but he didn't call. I had to end up calling them back. I asked, "Well, what's going on?" And he was just jerking me around. I would rather have him say, "Well, yes, they're coming, but they're not going to be there at 9:00 or 10:00." The drive just from St. Augustine to the area of Jacksonville is about 30 minutes.
The people that NewSouth got in the office, their customer service is lacking. It's not what it was when I first went there. I'm not the first person that they've done this to as far as this coming out to do the work. Other than that, the installation was great. The guy did a great job. I have six more windows and I'd like to have them do my windows. At first, I wasn't even going to go back with them, but because I got the product in the front and because this year, I was like, "This has left a bad taste in my mouth because I didn't want to even use them." But the product is a good product. I checked the windows and as far as the heat coming in, it was fine, and I don't feel any heat. They got the rays that block the sun from heat. It helped kept the heat from coming in the house.

The sales rep was fine and the installation was good. The only thing that was bad was we were told somebody would be out here between 8:00 and 10 o'clock. And 11 o'clock, nobody has called. Nobody has showed up, so I called. They finally got out here around 12:00. But the guys that came, they said they weren't even supposed to work that day, so they called their man to do it. And they worked really hard when they got here. The windows look great. NewSouth got a quality product and their guys work very hard.

Probably the most incompetent, disgusting company I've ever dealt with. Called for a price quote installing impact windows in my home. The female representative stated both my wife and me must be present for price quote... I told the female my wife is terminally ill with cancer and may not be available at the time of presentation. They "refused" to give me a price quote. I was floored and hung up.. Disgusting people..

I was impressed with their demonstration. The installation took them a good part of the day because it was almost dark before they left, considering they didn't get here till later of the morning. I was very impressed with the windows until I inspected them. There was some problems with the felt. When you touched it, it was falling off. So they had to return back out here again on the 16th to replace the felt in about all the windows.

I reached out to get estimates from five companies. NewSouth had a better price and from what I read, their windows are made more for Florida. I got what I wanted for the money I wanted to pay. The salesperson was good and the installers really knew what they were doing. I was happy with the overall quality and installation.
The only problem I had was the truck the installers were driving made a big mess out in front of my house because it was leaking diesel everywhere. I called about it and nobody has done anything. I wasn't too happy with that. Another thing was when they came the day they put the windows in, there wasn't a screen for my kitchen. It’s been weeks now and I can't open that door. I can't leave it open because there's no screen in it. I'm not getting any kind of information on when I might get one. I've also been waiting on an inspection to be done.

We ordered nine replacement windows for our home and everyone we were in contact with from the salesman to the installers were professional and friendly. There was a delay due to Covid but they kept us informed along the way. We did have some issues after installation with some water intrusion and eventually had to replace one of the new windows. New South stepped up and honored their warranty and installed a replacement window for us. I have more windows that eventually will need to be replaced and I wouldn't hesitate in using New South Windows to install them.

The window install job that the New South Windows crew did at our home turned out to be much worse than we first expected. We had the gentleman who did our install of the eleven (11) Plantation Shutters come by and assess most, but not all the damage done by your crew. If we were only told up front during the final measure that the shutters had to come down before the first pry bar was used, this would not have been this bad and costly as it is now.
First, the damage done to the bottoms of at least half of the windows is not damage done to the shutters, it is damage done to the “Corian” windows sills installed when we built the house. We were able to contact the Villages warranty repair department who referred us to the company (J Patty LLC) who does all the Corian repair work for the Villages. They came by on Monday, December 28th and repaired the damage done to the Corian window sills by New South’s install crew. We settled with them and paid $115.00 plus a tip for lunch. The sills now look close to what they looked like prior to the install damage done by your crew. Three or four sills were really in horrible shape as you observed when you were at our home.
Next, when your crew reattached the plantation shutters, they tightened them so much that they actually pulled the corner bead away from the window frame and that will require extensive drywall and texture work. We were told up front that we may need touch up paint for the exterior stucco, BUT we had no idea we would need paint to touch up interior walls. We have none so the entire interior walls where the windows were installed will need to be painted. Finally, our shutter installer/repairman said that so much caulk was used by your work crew, that when he takes the shutters down so the sheetrock and wall damage can be repaired, he is not sure how much of the textured sheetrock will be disturbed and may also need to be repaired or replaced.
This repair work is going to be time consuming and tedious because at least one of the windows will have to be taken out while the repair is being done. You told us that you have a repair guy who will come out and look at everything. We would like to schedule him ASAP so we can move forward with repair work to our home.
We spent 2 ½ days cleaning our house after your install team totally disregarded our property in and outside of your home. Actions (or lack of) such as not placing any drop cloths near or around their work area, placing their tools and buckets of water directly on our hardwood floors with no protection, emptying their vacuum on our driveway and lawn, leaving metal scraps behind one of which my wife actually stepped on but was lucky she didn’t cut herself, I could go on, but what is done is done! This has really turned out to be a mess. Please feel free to contact us by phone if you need any further information. This entire job has been the "Install Job From Hell"!!

I'm disgusted with them. The service took extremely long just to get the two windows. The first time they came out, they had windows with them, and the installers said that they were measured wrong. The second time they came out, they claimed that the window was 6 inches too short. That kind of aggravates me because if you're only talking about a 5-foot window and you're 6 inches short, that's something you notice right off the bat. You shouldn't put that on the truck. So I'm still waiting and it's been about six months now. The one guy I do speak with is Cody and the two times I've spoken to him, he said that it takes them 10 weeks to get a window done. But that’s not acceptable. Not when they got over $5,000 of mine already. I'm on my second 10-weeker right now.

Unfortunately, short of removing the current window and measuring the wall, window measurement isn't an exact science and from time to time our method proves incorrect. NewSouth Window Solutions was doing a house in the neighborhood. So, I went down and I talked to the neighbor and I looked at the house and the windows that they had done. I thought they were very impressive, I liked them, and the neighbor was very satisfied. So, we contacted them to have them come do a review and quote. The person who came was awesome. He was very thorough.
I've had wonderful interactions with NewSouth. They've done everything they said they would do and the product is as they represented it. We're just waiting on our final deal. We're still waiting on the final inspection and there are just a few little things to be tweaked. There were some covers for the drains on one of the big windows that were missing, and they noted it when the installers were here. When they come out to do their final, they'll bring those out. Then, I've got one window that doesn't quite slide right, but I'll have them look at it when they come out for their final inspection. We're not a fully finished deal yet. But so far, so good.

We liked the fact that NewSouth's products were made custom to exactly fit our windows. They weren't something that came out of a factory and they were made after our windows were ordered. They were made in the United States as well. We purchased windows for the entire house and we had a very positive experience with their sales rep. He was thorough and helpful. Then, the installers were noisy but they were very personable and very neat. They cleaned up after themselves pretty nicely so we were pleased with that. And they got the job done in one day, which was excellent. So far, the quality of the windows is good. We've had them a little over a month now and we're perfectly happy with them. We would also tell family and friends that we had a very positive experience with New South. They installed the day they said they would and they did what they said they would do.

We had all our windows done by New South Windows and couldnt be happier. It took some time to research and find who we felt would do the best job for such a big expense. We decided on New South because the manufacture and warrantty their own product. No other company has what they have. If you're in the market definitely have someone come to your house to show you the options. Once you speak to them no one else compares. Our crew leader Kevin did an awesome job keeping everything clean fast and orderly. Jenna in the office was great with updates, and the drywall guy they subcontracted was amazing. On top of it after the final inspection which I will add the inspector said the job looked top notch he usually finds problems when inspecting windows from other companies. (Unsolicited) It made us feel like the investment in New South was definitely the right decision.
Their final cleaning crew Terry and Gary were wonderful too. Since the install in November we have noticed the temp in the house stays more stable. When it got cold a few times this winter we didnt have to put the heat on at all we only had a degree or 2 change inside compared to before we used to have to put the auto regulate the temp on in the house. Another benefit is the noise level from our neighbor late night partys, and hound dogs barking is reduced considerably. I'm so happy I wont have to put up shutters anymore and I'm looking forward to lower cooling bills from FPL this summer. Fingers crossed. :)

I liked the quality of the windows that we got from NewSouth and they are fair-priced. The reps with dealt with were great people, too. But we had six windows put in and one of them is crooked. They sent two guys out here to finish putting the siding up around the windows and when they looked at it, they said they couldn't fix that and the windows are not level. Then, they sent somebody else out. One guy said that he did it for 35 years and the problem was the siding, not the window. And another guy came out. But they’re supposed to be calling back when they are going to finish because we had them done 20th of last month. Other than that, I really like their products. They’re great.

Truly horrible service. Scheduled a call to “measure” my windows, the soonest they could do it was 5 weeks away on a Monday. Then they called the Friday before and rescheduled for 15 days later. They were 30 minutes late for that meeting. Never even apologized. Then wanted to schedule another meeting to measure again. The people are rude and totally disrespectful of your time. I can’t speak to prices or work quality, I never made it that far.

I liked the quality and construction of the windows from NewSouth Window Solutions so I bought 5 hurricane windows from them. The sales rep was a very fine young man who did a very good job of displaying and explaining the quality of the product. The installation team was not the best but not the worst. It was a construction team that was put together kind of the last minute and they knew how to install windows but not the best in public relations. But we are blown away with the difference the windows are making in our house. They make the house much more sealed from the weather and wind than ever before. We're so glad that we made the move to put new windows in.

What a horrible company! I don't know why they spend all of that money on TV commercials if the marketing department in Pensacola refuses to return your phone and email messages? Brad came to my home on December 23rd and spent over an hour measuring windows and demonstrating what his merchandise can do. He said that he would email me an estimate. Since I still had not received an estimate from him on December 29 I phoned his office where the receptionist, Kayla, sent him and I an email requesting the estimate. On January 4th I sent Kayla an email message letting her know that I still had not received and requested that she forward this email chain to Brad's boss, Tana. Now it is January 11th and I still have not received an estimate, nor a phone call from anyone at Newsouth. What kind of business is this that you cannot return a customer's call?

We put a door in. NewSouth's selection of what was available in the market was a lot better. However, we weren't happy with installation. They put the wrong threshold down. And when you close the door, there was light underneath it. The people who put it in didn't see that. They did not seem to be well-coordinated between the people who scheduled the appointments. They postponed several times. I had one of the service people schedule an appointment for me, and then I called back. The central office had no record of it, so nobody showed up. And then because of the COVID thing and the availability of people, I'm still waiting for them to finish up the job. Right now, I have a date on the 20th.

NewSouth's ratings were higher from the consumers. We had another company come out too, and their product was just as good. But the employees themselves make the big difference. From the office, NewSouth kept in touch with us regularly as to the status of the order of our windows. The salesperson, Jonathan, was wonderful. He explained everything well. We had Matt that came out and measured. And we've been dealing with Shauna and Ashley at the office on a regular basis and they're very pleasant and organized. They're a pleasure to work with.

NewSouth brought their products and we liked the way they looked, the motion, and the way the doors locked. We had previous issues with the door locks not working on our old doors. And then, my husband went out to the warehouse, and then the people have just been great. We replaced two sliding glass doors and two windows. Due to COVID, everything was behind. It just was a very long delay between when we did the initial order and when we got the windows. But they kept us informed. It took a long time to get the windows and doors made and we still don't have our screens for the sliding glass doors. I guess they're still getting supplies in. But since the windows are done, we are still waiting. Other than that, they were very efficient. They came in and did a good job with the installation.

They are not to be trusted, poor quality, not responsive, and no after install support. It's a shame I spent so much money with them, never again. I would not recommend them, even if they were the cheapest and they're not. For my experience, I called after a kitchen remodel with a pass-through counter. At time of quote, I asked my salesman what happens when I do my kitchen remodel regarding the window over pass-through (that was a project on my list). He told me to call them and they'd take care of it. I called and they charged me $250 and explained TO ME that the window needed to be taken out and reinstalled. I figured, fine, even though salesman did not mention a fee. But it gets worse, they get here and all they did was caulk and seal, FOR $250! I could have done that myself. Except for warranty call, I'll never do business with them again.

The installers did a very good job. They were very efficient and mostly cleaned up after themselves, which really surprised us. We have not had any really bad weather to know anything about the strength of the windows, but we were very pleased with what we have received. We were also pleased with the workmanship and the information we got from them about getting the city in for inspections and they kept contact with us. They have to come in and put the final trimming after the city inspection. That's the only thing we're waiting on.

NewSouth did major surgery on our condo here and we're very happy. They were not the cheapest but we felt more confident that they would do a good job and we were right. It's quite common for people to have these kinds of shutters on the inside. Everybody else told us, "You're going to have to call the people and they're going to have to all be taken out." When NewSouth came out to measure, I talked to a gentleman and he said, "You have to take out these insert things." He showed me how to take them out and he told me it would be okay. I spent a lot of money on that and if it wouldn't have gone well, I would have been upset. I was able to do that myself instead of spending thousands of dollars to have somebody come out and take out everything. They didn't have any trouble installing it.
I was upset because I couldn't get my shutters back in. While they were still here, I wanted to make sure I could get them in but I couldn't. I said, "This is probably 'cause the window's not square now or it's off a little bit." One of the installers came and he said, "No. This is right." He put the first one in. After the first one went in, I could get all the other ones. That was really nice that he took the time to put my one shutter in so I could get the rest of them in.

The sales rep of NewSouth was great. We got the hurricane protection windows. The installation was good, very thorough and quick. However, I just wished where the two windows meet was a little thinner because it went from a 3-inch metal piece in the middle for the new frames to a 5-inch. It just takes up a lot of the window area.

I was informed that it would take 14 to 18 weeks for the installation, I am now in my 21st week. I paid NewSouth Windows almost $8000 deposit of the $21000 cost and they act as if I don't care or make a different. I have called them about 15 times and the only thing that they have done was to get a permit to install the windows. I applied for a rebate with Gulf Power that ended November 30, 2020 and was informed by NewSouth Windows that I should have waited until the windows was installed. The salesman was the one who told me to apply for the rebate. NewSouth Windows has acted as if they don't care. I informed them that I have cancer due to Viet Nam and they did not care. I informed them that I could died before the windows are installed and again they did not care.

My experience with NewSouth went very smoothly. I got new sliding glass doors and I'm very happy with the product so far. The installation went very well. The guys were well-prepared, knowledgeable and efficient. They did a good job.

I like that New South Window has their own windows that they make. It's not a third-party or a middleman. The price is right too. When the gentlemen came over here, I liked the windows better than the other ones that I've seen. He was very pleasant, very friendly and knowledgeable about the window. The installation was excellent. The guy and his team showed up. They were very friendly, knowledgeable and cleaned up after themselves. I really enjoyed that. So far, so good. We're just waiting on the screens. They said there's a backlog on the aluminum. Hopefully, I get the screens so we can open the windows. I was pleased, overall, except for the screens.

Two people in our subdivision, one of which I respect, used NewSouth Window Solutions' services. We went ahead and started with a door and two windows. We wanted to see how that works out. If it's good, then we'll replace all of our windows. We had a phenomenal sales rep. He was very knowledgeable, professional, and patient. My husband had a lot of technical questions and he knew everything to respond to him. It was great.
From the time of the order to the installation, that took around 10 to 12 weeks and we were well prepared for that timeframe. The sales rep explained how it worked and there were phone calls every few weeks giving us updates. It was perfect. In regard to the actual installation, I think the crew was there for a morning. My belief is you get what you pay for. NewSouth is not an inexpensive product but it's a great one. We're very pleased.

New South was very good about calling to let us know how the windows were coming along and really kept us abreast as things were going on. It started going awry when the guys that were coming out to install, really didn't say anything to me about it. I happened to bring up the subject of the screens. They said, “We don't have them.” It was like, “Okay, why?” We went back and forth. They called the office and said they were on backorder and the company had been having issues. I said, “Why didn't anybody tell me? Why did I have to ask about my screens?”
We went round and round. They said, “Okay, we can bring them on a certain day.” So much has happened. I was really angry. I heard different stories from different people, that we started getting really soured with NewSouth. We got a box of cookies, saying, “Hey, we're sorry.” We were like, “Okay.” They came out and put them in. But we were told that one of them was the wrong size. They said they'd come back and put that one in. He put it in last week and they're fine. They started out really good and really strong but ended up trying to make it better. All it would have taken was some communication, which they were very good at, at the beginning. Then, somebody dropped the ball. But everything is fine now.

NewSouth advertised made for Florida. The techs were on time when they said they would. They cleaned up after themselves. They were nice and professional. However, one of the windows failed. They will still do the trim and final inspection, and they will look at that window at the same time.

I tried NewSouth Window Solutions for my final three windows and it worked out much better than the first supplier I had. It was a big picture window and a window on each side. Their reps were fantastic and the installers were really great and very personable. I'm well-satisfied with it.

I had seen NewSouth's advertisement several times but I never talked to anybody about them. My wife and I scheduled the appointment and the rep that represented NewSouth came in during that time. This was in April. The installers were excellent. They did the schedule according to me because I work during the week in defense contract, so I just could not take off. My wife's a teacher and could not take off as well during the week to accommodate them. So, it had to be on a Saturday.
NewSouth has not finished the project though. The reps had to repair some latches on the window themselves and there was an area in the bay window that needed to be finished. They put the sheetrock in and they were supposed to come back, sand it down and spackle it again. But the virtual inspection for the Clay County, Florida went up. All that went good but there were a few things that were left they hadn't attended to. They reached out to me one time but it has been three weeks since then. I've been too busy to call them myself because I still work. But other than that, the two gentlemen who came to install were excellent. I was well pleased. They did a good job and overall, I'm satisfied and my wife is, too.

NewSouth was a little cheaper. The sales team was good. It got a hurricane strength window. There was a delay though. They were fast in putting it in. It took an hour or so to do. It was just the fact that they came, they brought the window to the house, if somebody from the manufacturer have seen the damage, and these little bolt things in the window, other people saw it, and then they stuck it on the wall. But these little bolt things in there, until my husband noticed it when they were about to leave, seeing all these bolts that were in the window that wasn't supposed to be there. That was why then they had to wait another month or two for this new window. They replaced it but it went through processing and manufacturing, shipping and handling, to my house. I don't understand why nobody noticed it. But my husband saw it.
I really liked the window. I wish they would have came and finished up the full job. But they said that they didn't need to do that. For the money that I spent, it would have been a complete finish. I don't have to go out there and paint. It took almost another month and a half to bring the next piece to get completed. But they provided a gift card for the delay in time.

I know NewSouth was a lot more expensive than anybody else but we decided to go ahead with it. I wanted them to enclose my back porch because it only has aluminum, and I wanted hurricane windows and a door put in. Well, they wouldn't even quote me a figure. I found out I could have gotten the windows $4,000 cheaper, and I'm almost sorry I didn't go that way. The people were wonderful. The guys who installed were excellent. However, I was disappointed in the fact that they said it would take 12 weeks but it turned out to be closer to 18 to 20 weeks. I don't think any other window company is going to get them to you any faster since everything is very slow right now.
I know my windows are beautiful but I still have a window that they have to replace because it’s damaged, which was not their fault. That was done at the factory where somebody decided it's piecework he didn't want, so he put the sticker over the flaw before it's inspected. Those windows should have been checked before they even left the place. The damage should have been found long before NewSouth even came here to install the windows. The four weeks is now up since they installed the other windows. They had their almost $12,000 since the 1st of September and I do not have the complete windows yet. I've been on the phone so much with them since they had the windows available, installed, inspected, and then coming back to cover the screws, and then discovering the damage. Here I sit waiting out another month, and probably six to eight weeks for another window.

NewSouth had a good product. I had 15 windows done which took two days. It went pretty smooth. The windows are a lot easier to open and close. The lifetime warranty is also very good.

I own the glass shop in Charleston, South Carolina and I used to sell Certain Teed replacement windows. But the way they showed on the ad on the television how NewSouth's windows were made, I said, “Hey, that's the way to go.” We had the guy come out and he measured everything. I said, “I want as much glass on this porch as we can get.” He said, “Okay, I’ve got it.” He was very personable. He was there to help us. And then, the guys who put those windows in were really professional. They just 1-2-3 and they were in. The quality of these windows is superb. We are enjoying our new windows. I've already recommended NewSouth Window Solutions about six times.

This company delivered cracked impact windows on top of taking 26 weeks to deliver and install a product that was to be delivered within 14 weeks. Impact windows were installed with cracked glass and still waiting for repair. We signed a contract on March 4th, 2020. According to the contract the impact windows would be installed from 12 - 14 weeks. It took New South Window Solutions 26 weeks to install the windows. To make the situation worse they installed the windows cracked and broken. They convinced my husband to let them install the windows and they would be back within 2 weeks to make the repairs. Unfortunately that was a verbal conversation. Here we are going on the 4th week and not a call or schedule in sight to make the repairs.
How could an impact company even deliver broken windows is beyond me. Apparently these are double stacked windows which should have never been delivered cracked to begin with. I just purchased my home and was desperate to get secure impact windows on my son's rooms at the least. I want my money back. I'm done with this company. Too much stress and time and calls dealing with this nonsense. The receptionists or customer service reps have been extremely rude and insensitive to our issues. And the sales rep Ricardo ** always passing the buck. I want my windows repaired or my money reimbursed.

The team who came and replaced all our windows, 3 sliders and 2 doors were real professionals. They worked for several days as they started with the windows on the west side and worked their way around my house, keeping away from the sun as best they could. NewSouth Windows was very responsive and nice to deal with. Purchasing the windows was great. The installation experience was okay. They changed a big window, which apparently, they handled improperly because it fogged almost immediately. They didn't want to bring their crane, so they had to go upstairs. And in the process of bringing through the stores, they twisted it so they lost the seal. They're gonna replace the windows through warranty. I had a very hard time to get them to come and finish the details of installation. Finally, because I was selling the house, I had to get it done on my own. NewSouth got very nice people. I enjoyed dealing with them. But I shouldn't have to be pestering them. And in the end, they never really came to do what they were supposed to do.

NewSouth sat down and talked to us. The rep explained the whole thing. He came out and brought a sample with him. We talked to somebody else who did our next door neighbor as well. Both of them gave us an estimate. The other estimate was a lot cheaper. But for some reason, we decided to go with NewSouth because the rep responded a lot quicker when we wanted to move forward with the project.
There is one thing, though, that my wife is not happy with. They forgot to put the screen in one of the windows. We have called back a couple times to let them know that there is no screen in the window. We talked to a woman, who put me in touch with another rep. And then, that guy wasn't sure whether they had to make the screen in Tampa, or if they had one in stock here in Bonita Springs. We live in Naples. And they said they would come out eventually and give us that screen for that window. In the meantime, we just noticed yesterday, that the trim around the outside of that same window has come loose. I was gonna call them today to find out about the screen, and then maybe, have somebody come out and look at that one seal around the window.
Also, there's one other mix-up. When we originally signed on the dotted line, we put 50% down to pay for the windows and then we would go with a bank to pay for the rest. My wife remembers going with Synchrony Bank to pay the rest of it. And for some reason, we never got any kind of communication with Synchrony Bank. They never sent us a payment book or any kind of information. We recently saw an email that they sent us that they had the wrong address. I had to keep calling NewSouth back to find out what happened because I know we still owed 50%. I just wanted to pay it off and be done with it. They said, “Well, we sent that to Synchrony Bank.” I had to do the footwork with Synchrony Bank. Eventually, I called them. They will send me a bank card. They still have not sent me that, but I paid it off with another credit card. So, it is paid for, lock, stock and barrel, the entire amount. Other than that, we like the quality and the looks of the windows.

I called in and we made an appointment. The rep then came out. He was a bit pushy, but that is what he is supposed to be. The installation team was one guy but he was really good. It was very positive. And then, NewSouth sent a team out to finish the installation up completely.

The installer was good and polite. They did everything and left. I only purchased three energy hurricane windows because that's all I could afford right now. They're expensive. Some of the things that NewSouth quoted me on were pricey. So, I'm gonna get several more estimates before I decide what I will do for the rest of the house. I used another company for my living room and then I used NewSouth for my bedroom. I just see which one I liked best. But I like NewSouth because they have the steel still in the windows, which would help. Also, I like that they have locks on the windows.

I bought windows and a door and the cost is expensive, but the quality is very good. I had two different teams come in to install. One team came and put the windows in and another team came by and they finished some of the windows that didn't get finished on the first day at a quite a bit later date. They both were very good. I still am waiting on one window for my neighbor though. It's a regular, 73 by 60 inches wide window. I had to pay for it because I'm in a homeowner association and our windows have to match. The installer got sick and it's been dragging out for several weeks now. Other than that, I got a good product. I liked NewSouth Window Solutions 'cause they're just made right here in Tampa. The sales reps were very knowledgeable too. I had done a lot of research on windows beforehand and they definitely knew what they were talking about. I really like them.

I bought a door and six windows from NewSouth. I was very pleased with the sales rep and the team that put the windows in was outstanding. The work is good though it hasn't been inspected yet. They're supposed to be coming out next Friday for the final inspection but I was very satisfied so far. Everything was beautiful. The only real concern I had was the period of time it took to get the windows. It took like almost three months once we ordered them until we got the windows.

NewSouth Window Solutions was outstanding. The guys that came and did the work did a great job. They did great follow-up too. I'm happy with what I got. As a consumer, I would love to get a better cost. But comparing NewSouth to Andersen or Pella and looking at their warranties which were a joke, there's no comparison. NewSouth is truly in a class by itself.
One guy left within 10 minutes 'cause usually the first question I ask is, "What's your warranty?" If I don't like what I hear, it's out the door, "Goodbye. Next." I don't have time for games and all they did was give me games. I had to get a magnifying glass so I could read it. The wording was so small. I was beside myself because I was always under the inference that Andersen or Pella made a superior quality. I never even heard about NewSouth's product ever up until a couple of weeks before I called them to give me an estimate. My buddy got his windows done. He showed me the warranty and I thought these guys need to come over and do my windows. I wish I did more windows at the time but at least I got the whole southern facing portion of the house.

We found NewSouth online and although we had gone to some other facilities in the area, theirs seemed to be a lot nicer and bigger. I liked that everything was made right there onsite and the quality was better than the other manufacturers. We purchased a condo on the beach and we restored a balcony that was enclosed previously by the owners, and NewSouth installed new sliders on them. Outside contractors were not being allowed in the building but they were ready within the timeframe allotted. The finished product was great.
It was our first time doing something like this and we didn't realize that we needed to coordinate everything through our association, which caused a little problem and confusion for everybody involved. Eight weeks later when it was time to install it, they asked if we had the association approval. I had no idea what they were talking about. I was looking at different companies online and I saw NewSouth Window Solutions and their reviews and started reading them. We moved here two years ago and not any of my neighbors have NewSouth. I have a neighbor who bought windows from a booth in Home Depot and they said the windows are nice but then the people that were installing are not related to the company. They're just a contractor to install and when my neighbor had issues, they had to go back to the main office and it was a lot of back and forth. When I started looking at NewSouth, I saw that they're all local from the area. We made the decision to give it a try and see how it goes and our experience was outstanding.
The sales rep came in even during the COVID and he wore his mask. He was very nice explaining the product and the process and because we are from Puerto Rico, we are very familiar with hurricanes. Back home the windows are very different than what we had here before the install. The sales rep was talking about the windows and he brought the samples. When we were touching everything and feeling the quality of the windows, we really liked it. We were informed that the installation was supposed to be two days and when only two persons came, I was like, "Oh, man, that's gonna take a while." They finished everything the same day though.
The installers were here on time and they were very nice and quick. They cleaned everything too. I have a one-story home so they didn't have to be in the stairs, but they saw everything. They also explained not to throw away the covers until the inspection was finished. Here, they give an incentive if you have energy efficient windows, so when the electricity company stopped by and did the inspection, the lady mentioned that the windows were sealed very properly. It was done very nicely. With other companies, they do the sealing and the inspecting company has to tell them to come back to finish the seal.

A friend of mine and her husband had done a bunch of research and they thought NewSouth Window was the best one around. I kinda took their word and had NewSouth come and give me an estimate. We had them do all the windows in the front of our house. We also hired them to do all the windows in the back of our house. I already did half the job and now we have to save up some money to get the second half done. The people that came in to do it were very nice. Everything looks wonderful and I'm happy with it. The county people had to come look at it then they came back out to finish everything off and make sure everything was good.

NewSouth's rep was very convincing and very knowledgeable on the product. He provided all of the information, answered all of my questions and was not pushy but just explained what the product was. I had a lot of windows done but it was all done in one day. I love them. I have another company's windows in but I prefer NewSouth windows. I had the doors put into a different house that I had that I was selling, and they were nice, solid, excellent quality doors. The installation also went quickly and the installers were very professional.

NewSouth's price beats some of the other competitors so I decided to go through them. The salesman was not pushy. He just demonstrated the windows they had and told me what they would do. I had a total of six windows replaced and the installers did it in one day. They came in and did an excellent job. They were very professional and didn't leave any debris. I would do it again.

I Googled window manufacturers in the area and NewSouth was right near me. They had just opened a Bonita Springs location. I interviewed three places and decided to go with NewSouth because they have multiple panes for the impact windows. Also, their warranty seemed to be the best so I chose to go with them. I had them put in windows for the whole house. The salesperson was great and I didn't have any issues until I got to the project coordinators.
A part of a blade hit one of the sliding glass doors in my lanai. I had an exposed indoor lanai and they taped off the area for me. Then, they went ahead and ordered a door right away for me and said it would take a good 7 to 10 days. But it turned into over a month and it wasn't a great process. The door cracked getting to the location but I felt like I was being lied to by the project manager and I didn't appreciate it. In the end, the regional guy ended up taking some money off of my sale and we ended up resolving it. Other than that, the guys that did the installation were super nice. I love the windows and the door is great.

The salesman was a complete ** once I signed the papers. He was rude, combative, sarcastic. He talked down to myself and husband when trying to figure out what happened to the one window change. Once they started one window that was supposed to be hurricane proof was not, (bc salesman didn't order it) the back sliding door did not have what was needed to put in, waited 6 more weeks for right window and back door to be done. That is a total of 12 weeks to get windows. The managers at the office do not return calls, we had to call and text several times to get it done.
Would I recommend them NO. We get that we are not the only customers and that things happen, that does not fix the salesman rude behavior nor does it fix the office making too hard as heck to get info in getting it all done. We considered getting the front door changed but with the hassle of the windows we decided it was not worth the hassle, plus the price they wanted was a little high. We went to a different company that is putting in the front doors and a back door for the price New South wanted for just the front door.

I looked at NewSouth online and I liked what I saw and I called them. When the salesmen come out, what I liked the best is we explained that I just wanted to do one front window and he was real good. He didn't pressure us to do anything else and went through all the products and showed us that. I liked him real well. Also, one of the things I liked is about the veterans. I'm a Vietnam POW survivor and that was another factor. The only complaint that I would have would be how long it took between ordering the windows and getting them installed. But I don't hold it against them. Some of that was the virus, in addition to them having to manufacture the windows. During installation, the installers were here most of the day but they were efficient. They were friendly and clean.

I found NewSouth Window Solutions in an advertisement on TV. At the time, I had three estimates and theirs was the best quality for the price, so I decided to go with them. I did 25 windows and they were different sizes between bathroom, sliders, and side sliders. So, I got three different kinds of windows on the house.
When I called up their sales rep, I made an appointment and he was here on time the day he told me he was going to be here. He explained all the different types of windows and the difference in cost between them. He also gave me a demonstration of the heat factor and explained the heat coming through the old windows that I had and the new windows to show me the difference. He showed me which options were good, better, and best. Like most, I chose better, not the least, not the most expensive, but the one in the middle. He gave me a lot of options and told me what would be the best windows for the way my house faces. I have double sliders on the side and he mentioned that I would want the one that opens on the side where you get the cross ventilation and such. He was a very knowledgeable salesman and he knew what the product was.
Then, when the young men came out to install the windows, they were very personable and very clean. They spoke to each other in Spanish and I don't speak Spanish, but anytime that I approached them on anything, they immediately stopped talking to each other and talked to me. So they were very professional.All in all, NewSouth did a great job and so far, I love the windows. But I live in Osceola County, Florida and they couldn't do the inspection because we're in this Corona lockdown. The windows still haven’t been inspected and but I know they're fine.
Aside from that, I had an issue with one of the screens that didn't seal real good in the corner and I called up the service department. I told them I was getting bugs inside my screen, between the screen and the window, and their rep made an appointment for two days later. Then he was out here and he fixed the problem. It was a minor little glitch on the screen and after he fixed it, I asked him if I could go ahead and put these inserts in. He said that I couldn't and that they have to do the inspection first. But he said that as soon as they do the inspection, one of their guys will come out here and put them in. He told me that I don't have to try to put them in myself. They're just little pieces of plastic that cover the screws and he said that normally, they would have done that within a day, and they would have been out and inspected the windows. But because of this lockdown thing that they’ve got, their building department still isn't open.

I had used a different company when I lived near Clearwater, Florida. We had a town hall there, and we took out the squatters and put French doors in, and then we just loved it. It cut down on the noise and changed the whole appearance of the room. So, I was looking to do that when I relocated to Naples, but I wasn't in a hurry. We were just watching TV and I heard NewSouth was advertised, and I checked them out with some of my friends. I know that they're in construction and they have a very good reputation. Even the home inspector when he came out here reiterated that they were a good company.
The installation team was great. They cleaned up after themselves and vacuumed everything up. They were very personable too. I prepared and had bottled water and they appreciated that. I'm waiting for them to replace one set of windows. The centerpiece of the window was cut exactly right. There's just a tiny little gap at the top that needs to be extended almost like a quarter of an inch. It doesn't affect the window themselves. It's just that when I pay this much for this product, I want it to be exactly right. This last little piece is not urgent and I know that they're extremely busy. They told me it would be a few weeks before they would get back out here and I'm okay with that. That didn't stop me from finishing what I needed to do. Overall, I've been pleased.

The salesperson was amazing. She answered all my questions, showed some good options, and worked through a good estimate for me. Then the installation went way better than expected. The people finished the entire project in one day, which were 10 windows and four doors. Very well done and incredibly clean. The product has very high quality and I like it very much. The salesperson that came over was fabulous. He understood our concerns about why we wanted to replace and do the windows and the sliding doors. He was not pushy when he came back to do the entry door. He just demonstrated the product, gave us a couple of comparisons, and actually had samples of the other products as well as their product and so it wasn't a hard decision at all. Then the installation on the windows and sliding glass doors was perfect and wonderful.
Now, the entry door is a different story. It was installed on the 22nd and it's still not complete yet. I'm a former building contractor as well so I know how the process is supposed to work. We waited almost 10 days because there was an issue with the pictures. The installer didn't send in the pictures during the installation process. Then the installers didn't know how to close a gap at the bottom of the door because it comes with an adjustable threshold and an adjustable seal at the bottom of the door.
We have hardwood floors in the house and so there's a transition piece. There's about a quarter of an inch gap between the threshold and that transition piece right now. That needs to be taken care of. I said that I wouldn't tell them how to do it, and if they didn't know, they should call somebody and get them here. There are critters, bugs, rain, and there is everything that comes in. I've let the folks know at the local office here in West Palm that I'm not happy with this because I can't do the final finishing for the door and all the other things. Plus, I have a screen door or a storm door that I want to put up, but I can't do that until after all this is done. It's now it's getting on almost three weeks and that's not acceptable. The entry door thing has been a nightmare.
I'm gonna call the credit card company and dispute the final payment. I told them I was gonna do that last week and that's when they rushed and tried to get the inspector here, but they were off last Friday for the holiday. However, that doesn't excuse 10 days prior. They were supposed to come again yesterday and I haven't heard from anybody and so far, this morning, still haven't heard either. I guess we gotta take the money out of their pocket to get a result.

NewSouth Window Solutions is advertised everywhere and somebody told me that they were good. I ordered two patio doors and two large nine-foot windows. We ordered them in January and they did not get them until the end of May. We were supposed to have those windows installed two months ago but we had to leave. I kept calling NewSouth Window and telling them, “Look, I’m leaving in two months. I have to leave.” They said okay. I called them every week and they wouldn’t call me back. Finally, we were getting ready to leave and the car was packed. They said they were coming next week so I had to hire somebody to go sit at my house.
They came, put them in, and got the inspection. I haven’t seen the windows yet as I’m outta town. But the inspector said the installers left a whole row of screws out. They didn’t put them in. They had to come back and put the screws in. The final inspection was made today. Now, they have to come back again and put caps over these screws. Also, we’re still waiting for two doors. Two of the sliding doors they brought were backwards so they had to order new ones. I have no idea when they’re gonna get them in. I have to keep calling them to find out what’s going on. It’s been a very bad experience.

The highest quality we found. We researched windows and doors for a year online and at 3 Home and Garden shows. New South was the highest quote that we got after 2 other quotes. NewSouth Window Solutions has a local office and a local factory. We purchased hurricane-proof windows from them because we knew they were gonna be top quality. Their sales rep was wonderful. That person, as well as the installers, was very professional and kind. It almost felt like they were family when they were in the house. They were very caring.
We're still waiting on them to come out and finish up a few little things. But we understand that with the COVID thing going on here, we all have to learn to be patient. Overall, we're very pleased because we used another company for our windows on the west side. They were a good company but they had to manufacture our windows out of Florida and it made a big difference in the way that they're going to perform.
I recommend NewSouth Window Solutions. The most wonderful thing about it is that the products are made here in the USA and they're a local company. They can come out and take care of anything at any time. I don’t have to wait for them to come from another state. Right now if you look at my front window, you would see a sign that says, “Direct from our factory. NewSouth Window Solutions,” with their phone number on it. I believe anybody who would have anything to do with NewSouth or anything that’s local in wherever you live at. Use local.

Mr. David ** came face-to-face with me and showed me what they were gonna do, did the measurements in front of me, and followed through every time I called. We purchased storm-resistant or impact-resistant windows. They appear to be very good. The installers were very good and very professional as well. I was impressed with them. It’s just all the rigmarole after that, with all the permitting. And I’m still not cleared. The permitting, I’ve been told, changes every three years in the city of Naples. And it’d be kind if NewSouth would tell the customer things that are beyond their control, that they will do everything that they can do get the permits done. And they did do that. But to warn us that I don't have to be spending 20 hours of my time, trying to fix things, so that I can get my permits done.

I have an old home with the old jalousie windows and they were horrible. Living in Southwest Florida, the heat pours through the jalousie windows. We even went as far as purchasing huge sheets of styrofoam and as horrible as it looked, we would tape it into the windows in the summertime because it was unbearable in our living room. Doing an internet search, I inquired about windows and NewSouth Window Solutions was one of the places that showed up. They had a store, I went in and they sold me the second they showed me how the heat does not come through the windows. I could not believe that and then they did a fabulous job.
The sales agent explained how and where the windows were made in Tampa. He also explained the whole process, including how long it would take and how they'd come in and do everything. He was very thorough and personable. Paul came out and explained some stuff to us as well, including how it would be done. He is the one who measured the windows and he did an incredible job because the windows that they built fit perfectly. The contractors were all wonderful as well. Those people came in, installed all of the windows in less than five hours and cleaned up every bit of their mess. I was expecting holes in my walls and holes outside. I read different things about different windows and all these problems afterwards, and they just did a beautiful job.
The windows are gorgeous as well. We liked it so much, so we called back and had them install a sliding glass door. They've been wonderful when I've had to call as well. Jeannie answers the phone and she's wonderful. Another thing is that we've had some hot days this year already in the 90s and in the 34 years that I've been in this house, this is the first time that we've been in our living room at 4 o'clock. I could sit on my sofa and feel cool because the heat was not coming through those windows. NewSouth Window Solutions did a wonderful job and I had posted on Google about it too.
With the jalousie windows, our electric bills were $400 a month. Now, I can't gauge the electric bill yet because we've had this Covid and we're all home. We have computers all set up now for a while. Still, I've had a lot of things done in my house over the years, and I have not had the best experiences, except for two really great ones. That was when we recently had a new air conditioner put in and these windows.

I was concerned because they had a 12-foot hole open in my house. But it all worked out fine. My wife likes the windows. That's the most important part.

We had half our windows put in a couple of years ago by Armortech. But my husband felt that they charged too much and weren’t very customer-friendly. So, we looked for a different company. We had gotten a quote from West Shore Windows. But we didn’t feel comfortable with the salesman or the process. And so, we got a second opinion, and we felt much more comfortable with the salesman and the process with NewSouth.
We purchased hurricane-proof windows. The salesperson was great. He seemed to have a tremendous amount of knowledge. And he brought us samples. He was very nice and very knowledgeable. The installation was great too. It didn’t take them long at all, less time than we thought. And the two men who came were professional, cleaned everything up and got everything done. They did a good job.

NewSouth seemed to have a better product. I got a sliding glass door. The sales representative was fine, but there were some errors in his information. He said there was an extra charge for a sliding screen, which there was not. It was included. He also said it would be our option how the door was installed, but it was not. It was just installed. The installation crew's work is fine. It’s just not what I was thinking for an $8,000 door. The door seems to be of very good quality though but for the cost, the finish wasn’t there. Others should be very cautious with NewSouth.

NewSouth Windows was a good recommendation and I trusted the person that I was speaking to. Also, I had done research before. The sales reps were all very professional and they certainly knew their job. So, I was very pleased. And then, the installation was very professional. I got replacements of the front door and side window. I’m very happy with them. I feel that I won’t have a problem way down the road.

We purchased one window from NewSouth, but it’s a huge window, it had seven smaller windows. The gentleman was really nice. So far, the quality of the window is good too.

My next door neighbor gave a good recommendation. The NewSouth sales rep was very good in demonstrating all of the stuff that he had to do. And then the installers had to stay late, but they got it done. However, they didn't bring a window sill that had to be replaced. They didn't look far enough into the work order to bring it with them. I'm waiting for them to come back to replace the broken window. But other than that, they were courteous. A couple of people were looking to replace some windows too so they asked me about it. I told them who I got and that my windows are all hurricane-rated.

We've had windows put in in the last two years from another company. We were going to do the first part of the house and we did not want to go back with that company. We were very impressed with NewSouth Window's presentation of how windows held the heat and the warranty on them. The sales team was great. And then, when the installers came in, they laid out a drop cloth. They vacuumed the entire time. And as long as they were drilling, they were vacuuming. It was a lot of people that were here. Some were outside, some were inside. They knew what they were doing. When we do the back part of the house, we definitely want to do the same installers. The all-around experience with NewSouth Windows was excellent.

We purchased three windows from NewSouth. The installation went fine and their crew was efficient. They picked up after themselves. However, we're not happy with the fact that they never came back and out the finishing strips in. I understand they had to wait for the inspector to come and see the windows before the strips can go back in but we have called twice and have gotten no answer. I suspect that is because we live in Sanibel and they don't have any other reason to come out to our location. Since they started the job though, they ought to finish it off. Still, we're happy with the windows we got.

Late in October 2019, I had Michael from NewSouth Window over to give me an estimate to replace my 24 windows and double front door in my home. I had already spoke with three other window companies, but felt New South would be best for my needs. He stated in the contract that the windows would be ready in 10 to 14 weeks. After 14 weeks went by, I emailed Michael to find out what the status of the order is. He replied I should call the office to find out. With that level of customer service I knew I was in trouble. The office stated about 4 more weeks.
After 5 weeks I started calling every week or so. I was always told the person I needed to speak to someone who is not available and they will have them call me. No calls were ever returned. After 22 weeks the installers called to confirm they could come to install the windows. They were the best part of this experience. If the rest of the company operated like them I think I would be writing a five star review. Once they were done, and final payment made, I now waited for the County inspector. He found one window missing a couple of screws and failed the inspection. For the past 2 1/2 weeks I have contacted New South twice, only to be told someone will call me right back. I am tired of the runaround and am posting this so all know there are some serious issues at New South and if you are considering them, beware.

I like NewSouth Window's guarantee and the way they were built. The salesman was very nice, wasn't pushy, and explained how they're made in comparison to some of the other windows that are out there in the market. The installers were professional yet very easy to talk to. We had a sliding glass door and windows throughout the entire house. We're very pleased. However we ran into two windows cracked. One while the guys were still here and another one cracked when they had left so they are coming back to replace those.

After window installation my husband called to report that the installers may have “accidentally” grabbed his Milwaukee impact driver. It had been sitting on the counter along with other various tools from ceiling fan installation he had done. All of the other tools had been left and the tip from the driver was sitting in the counter. Did not get a response from the company. When they came out to install the trim after inspection he again mentioned his impact driver. Again, no follow up. We finally sent a letter to the CEO and received a phone call this weekend. My husband was told they would check with the installers and either return or replace his impact driver. Today he just got a call that they will not be replacing it. After the amount of money we spent on these windows this is just not acceptable! Not to mention original installation was supposed to take a “couple hours”. Instead was all day long!
We are deeply disappointed to hear of this and do not take these statements lightly. My sister got windows from NewSouth and it was a great installation. Then, we were looking to get new windows and I followed on for our main house in Orlando. Also, we have a rental here in Longboat and we did the same windows here. I had a great experience with NewSouth with both of them. My sister had warned me about dings in the frames and having to repaint so I was prepared for that.

We contracted with New South Window in mid 2019 to be installed in FEB 2020. They began work in late Jan 2020. Work was done very poorly for which they had to come back out to repair but all was not finished. We are still missing one window due to cracked frame. We have 2 sashes that have failed and one window that was put in incorrectly. We have been told on several occasions it would be done or they would have an answer by the following Monday and each time Monday goes by with no response. This is a poor way for a company to operate. At this time I would not recommend this company.
