    New South Windows was at my house yesterday to replace the glass in my sliding doors that the gas leaked out of, (three-pane glass) and they destroyed my frames of the doors by trying to remove the glass. They gouged the frames and tried to cover it up with caulking and broke trim molding and damaged the wood floors in my bedroom. They left caulk on my wood floors and didn’t clean up their mess. I had to wait six months for this replacement and this is the second time replacing the sliding glass door window. First time they replaced the whole frame, this time they tried to replace the glass. What a mess!

    We were having a good experience at the beginning. Our salesman, Romeo, was great and after going through eight different window companies, it came down to just two. We had both of them come back out so we could decide, and we felt the best with Romeo. All 27 windows and 4 doors were ordered, and they were scheduled for prompt installation. We had a couple of issues during the install, but Robert, the project manager, was on top of it. They had to reorder a door, which took a long time to arrive, but they handled it. So the original install was in July 2025, and the replacement door was put in in October. That is when we started having issues. Communication went to ZERO, no returned calls or texts.

    It took until December to get it scheduled for inspection, and then it failed inspection. It was just small things that the inspector wanted done, but the problem was that our permit expired the day following the inspection. So by the time that the repairs were made, it was too late. So now we had to wait for New South to submit for an extension on the permit. That was in January, it is now almost March 2026. Communication has been nonexistent. Then I have found out that not only has our Salesman quit, but our project manager has also quit. So now again it is us waiting and making multiple calls with no response.

    Our job is still not completed and inspected, damaged screens are not replaced, and the finish trim has not been done. Either my wife or I have had to take off work multiple times trying to get this job completed. I am beyond frustrated. We have actually recommended to our family and friends who chose to also use them, and their jobs are completely done, and we are still fighting to get ours done 9 months after the install.

    Updated on 03/15/2026: Wrote a letter to the owner of the company - nothing. Sent an email to someone else - nothing! Stay away from this company!!

    Original: It has been 15 Months since the first Installation of our windows. Because of defects and/or delivering wrong windows, they had to keep reordering. Yesterday was suppose to be the final installation- after 15 months- but instead of delivering 2 windows, they only brought one. I went to the local office to speak to the Production Manager. I have maintained a cordial relationship with him but yesterday it took a turn. He was verbally abusive, and conversation elevated into a shouting match. He didn't think "15" months was a problem. His behavior was shocking and I felt threatened and humiliated. Trying to locate a complaint department was a Herculean effort. I spent 3 hours searching. Many emails given to me were invalid. If you have a complaint- good luck finding someone to speak to outside of the office you are dealing with. My advice- look elsewhere for your windows. My situation cannot be an isolated incident.

    I can only tell you why we will not use New South window solutions. Upon a referral from my neighbor, I decided to contact NewSouth. I went to their website and filled out the inquiry form. A week went by and no response so I called them since I got nowhere through their website. I made an appointment for today at 10 am .....no follow-up text or call to confirm the appointment prior to today, which is normal, but I didn't think much about it. But by 10:15 am today, I thought they would not be showing up, and they didn't!!! I called and after the answering service checking and they said the rep was sick and they could reschedule. After all of this, I wouldn't reschedule or use them. If they can't keep appointments and use common courtesy regarding communicating with me, I have to believe buying windows from them would definitely be painful and a disaster!!!! Just my opinion and my experience but I wouldn't use them...

    My house is quiet!! My house is warm. The installation was seamless. Caulk lines are clean and straight!! So thankful the install was before the deep freeze in Florida!! Jesus and his men are true professionals and we are so thankful for their outstanding work. I have bad arthritis in my hands. I had not been able to open the previous windows. The New South windows slide easily, and open inward for easy cleaning! We had every window in the house done and we are so thankful.

    I purchased NSW windows about 8 years ago. They have been great. The problem is not the product but the customer service. Since the company was sold, the customer service has suffered. Every time I have to have a window replaced - which is not often but more frequent than I would expect - the process is an ordeal. In ALL cases, the windows were ordered for replacement and the wrong windows were ordered. Now that I think about it, I had the same issue with the initial install. Be that as it may, I am currently starting the second YEAR of a window replacement due to technicians calling out sick and the wrong window being ordered (again, the wrong window order is a recurring problem).

    On my recent contact with them, I was contacted by their 'new' concierge, who was reassuring and supportive. Unfortunately, it was merely a distraction to placate me. It has been 3 weeks and I have not heard back from him. I have called the Orlando office several times with limited follow-up - cut off twice via their phone system, left a message (after an e-mail) for Mark (the concierge) and no response. It is sad that a strong reputable company has failed to provide part of the product I purchased. As I have told whoever would listen, I would have these windows ripped out of my house if I could but it is not cost-effective. I would NOT recommend New South Windows to any of my friends or neighbors - enemies are another story.

    0 stars. After an encouraging display by the salesman promising an 8-12 week install time. We have been waiting for over 14 weeks now for anything. We are replacing the windows in our entire house (a pricey job) that one would think to be a bit of a priority. It took them less than 8 weeks to get the windows in stock. Another over 4 weeks to even APPLY for the permit!! Something that should have been done right away. After calling their office and requesting some action be taken, still nothing. Now they don’t even answer my call. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY!!

    BEWARE** We don't even have our windows installed yet. We have a problem getting the company to sign a paper so we can close on our re-fi. Megan the one who has to do does not return phone calls or answer email. Loretta who answers the phone is a **. and lies out her teeth. I put call and email into Paul my salesperson to try and help us and haven't heard back. They are forcing us to use their finance, and we don't want to. The only way to get this company to fix the way they communicate is to keep publishing your bad experience with the people who work with this company. I'm in the Villages in the part of the city with 20+ year old windows and I will be sure to tell everyone to stay away from NewSouth Window Solutions just because of Megan-Loretta and Paul F. 17 windows and 1 door spent $29,000.00 more than I make in a year.

    Do NOT use this company!! Part of our contract included screens for our exterior sliding glass doors. All plans were originally submitted and approved through our HOA but upon install, there were no screens. It has now been over a year of back and forth with this company. First stating we did not order screens although it is clearly stated in 2 areas of our contract, then stating we didn't have the correct tracks for the screens. Something that is an error on their part. Now we are told the HOA will not approve the screens because of the adjustments they would need to make to the track. The screens were included in our original contract and price that was paid. Bad customer service and nothing but issues. Will never use again and will recommend!

    We had 12 windows and 4 sliding glass doors done at our home in Largo Florida. The team that installed the windows was exceptional. The quality of the windows and doors are also great. Unfortunately once the install was finished and we made the final payment, they just forgot about us. Over a period of the next three months we had to make call after call to their customer service desk to try to get the aster guy, inspection and finally the closing crew to come wrap up the job. At one point I was texting directly with a supervisor to get the stucco work finished and then he vanished too. So overall, the product is good quality, but the service and follow up is horrible. When you write the final payment stay on top of the so you don’t get forgotten about.

    I purchased great windows from the Houston office in February 2025. The warranty, quality and price beat out their competitors. Unfortunately, Texas offices were closed effective April 4, 2025. I called the number provided regarding the warranty and service to replace screens. I spoke with a customer representative multiple times requesting to replace screens. I am very disappointed that no one for the other offices are reaching out to assist Texas customers. If I cannot get 2 screens replaced, I have no faith in NewSouth Windows replacing a damaged window. I spent a lot of money on windows and feel abandoned.

    They charged us for two custom doors. They showed up on installation day with two standard doors that we could have bought at a big box store for a fraction of the price. They ripped our back door off and installed one that doesn't fit. The installers told us after it was mounted that it did not fit properly. This company will not return phone calls, emails or text messages regarding any of this. They have an arbitration clause. It is AAA Arbitration and for us to pursue a claim against this company would cost us in excess of $5000 in fees. This should be illegal. We have been completely ripped off and seem to have no recourse.

    Their quality control is very bad. Mismeasuring the height of one window by almost 3inch and still installing, wrong type of glass in another, broken lock on another. There was something wrong with one third of my windows. My suggestion is, don't pay in full until the job is completed.

    BUYER BEWARE: Order placed for 16 ft sliding glass doors in Oct 2024. We were advised 8-12 weeks. Surprisingly they were ready at 4 weeks. Install went what we thought was pretty smooth but the screens did not fit. Was told they would re-order the screens and it would be 8-12 weeks. They were available in mid-Feb 2025. They did not fit. The tech used a hacksaw and cut the top of them/very jagged to "make them fit." They marked up the vinyl track and I refused to the screens to prevent further damage. Tech took screens, did not make note on our acct to reorder again.

    Called to speak with Service Mgr Felix, he came out end of Feb. Advised they would reorder the vinyl track, uninstall the door and reinstall the door, again advised 8-12 weeks. In mid-April, called to get status (at 8 wk mark), Service Mgr Felix left no notes in our acct and didn't reorder the track. Found out he was also no longer with the company. Was advised new service mgr would call Monday 4/21. No call received. Called New South 4/22 and several times on 4/23/25, can't get anyone to return a service issue call and I really want to get a service manager on the line to come back out to fix the problem.

    This is the second time we have used New South Window's. We are just as satisfied this time as the last time. The installers ran into a little issue due to walls not being plumb. They were able to resolve all issues. From start to finish, Tyler and Oscer were professional, kind and courteous. They covered everything prior to starting, cleaned up and after themselves when the job was finished.

    Buyer beware of New South window... I contracted with New South Window Solutions of Charleston to install 4 large panel slider doors. They were installed on 9/2024. I paid the final bill on 9/23/24 after talking to Nikki and Greg, the manager. $500.00 Was subtracted from the bill since screens were cancelled and floor cleaning was subtracted. Imagine my surprise when a different manager named Jake and his assistant called me back 6 weeks later demanding the $500. I paid the final bill on 9/23/24 with Greg, a manager and his assistant Nikki. I was told the bill was paid in full. Why are 2 different representatives ignoring the 9/23/2024 agreement. I don't trust New South Window of Charleston.

    I will give them 2 stars just because of the quality of the product. 1 star for Customer Support. This is the second job and probably the last with this company. I am waiting for nearly 2 months to get an update on my order and nobody knows anything at the Houston office. I have tried unsuccessfully to reach out to this guy Scott by text and I called him several times... This is the worst Customer Service that I have experienced up to this point, probably the second worst after Xfinity Internet. I will not recommend this company due to their lack of communication. Only god knows if I will get my last door installed!!!!

    DO NOT USE! THIS COMPANY is a SCAM! I bought custom doors back in MAY! I have been calling different contacts I had for this company and can’t get any answers on my doors. In a month of trying to talk to someone in this company, one person answered and they said they had to talk to someone and they would call back by the end of the day. That was two weeks ago.

    We had $22,000 in replacement windows and exterior doors installed roughly 2 years ago. The Lania door they installed had an issue with the lock mechanism and wouldn't lock so our house was unsecure at night which really scared my wife and granddaughter. I called several times and never received a call back from New South. When I finally got to speak to someone they scheduled a tech to come out to repair it but he had no parts and said he'd have to order it. Now, we had waited several weeks for a tech to come out and when he does arrive hes not prepared to repair the door. This was October 24th 2024. November 20th I called to inquire on the status and a rep requested I send pictures of the door mechanism which I promptly did. I never hear back so I called again.

    Today, November 22 2024 I call because I've heard nothing about when the parts would arrive. This guy comes on and makes all sorts of excuses why there was an issue and informs me they have the parts but no one is available until Dec 16th 2024. I flip out!! I say this is unacceptable. My wife is hounding me to get the damn door fixed and this guy says I'm rude and hes not going to stand for it. I said mail me the parts and I'll get it fixed. he says fine and hangs up.

    If these products are so good that they charge $22000 for 10 windows and 2 doors, why are all their techs booked solid until 30 days out? if you're thinking of buying from this company be prepared for the promise of an iron clad warranty and the reality is they have your money and they don't care about you after. Buyer beware with this company! New South Windows is a terrible investment for a home. Read these reviews, not just mine but the others that have gotten screwed by shotty work and terrible customer service.

    Excellent experience through the entire process. In-home visit and quote was very informative and pleasant. A week later, detailed measurements completed and order sent to factory. About 6 weeks later, we were called for delivery and installation appointment. Installation crew were awesome. One day installation for 17 windows with total cleanup inside and outside. You could not tell they were here except I had new windows and a much quieter home since we replaced single pane, contractor grade windows with these new windows. Well worth the investment.

    Our review is not a positive one. During Covid we spent over $22,000 on gorgeous windows that took over eight months to complete due to the Covid lockdown. Manufacturing was down, installers, etc. We found out in September that our windows were not installed properly and we have had water and mold coming into two large windows for over 2-1/2 years. If it hadn't been for the three weeks of rain, we might not have known. I noticed discolored wood on our downstairs floor which began the investigation. We contacted our homeowners insurance but were denied because this is a New South Window problem that was caused by bad installation. In October, we found out that most all the windows were not secured with the proper screws or sealed. We finally went into the sales office locally and met with Brian. We showed him our documentation, pictures, etc. We had spoken to him on the phone prior to that but were passed onto someone else.

    We contacted Firehouse Restoration, (Jacksonville, FL) who immediately helped us with sealing the mold, machines to dry out the rooms, etc. I believe New South Windows has been extremely slow to respond to us because this is urgent! We are looking at about $30,000 in repairs as our wood floors, carpeted rooms, inside walls, outside wall on second floor, (with stucco) all need repair. WE WANT OUR HOME BACK! I urge you to make sure you have New South Window installers and they don't contract with an outside installer. We had no idea they had done this. Somehow it passed city inspection without anyone ever coming inside and inspecting the windows. We are very frustrated as I suffer with Asthma and my health has suffered. WAKE UP NEW SOUTH! We want this resolved with Firehouse Restoration Company ASAP!!

    We had windows and the doors in our home replaced by NewSouth in 2023. We were very satisfied with the work they did and decided to contract them to replace our garage door. We contracted Newsouth to replace the garage door Feb 2024 (8+ months ago) and are still waiting for the new door. I have called Newsouth several times in the past month requesting and update and would like an estimated time of delivery however the company will not return my calls. I reached out to the sales rep that we worked with on the previous installation and still no response from this company. They offer what appears to be an impressive warranty but beware, what good is it if they do not respond to their customers? If you are considering contracting this company for any work, you should reconsider, and look for another company.

    We had our New South Impact Resistant Windows installed 6 years ago and couldn't be happier. John ** helped us every step of the way and made it extremely easy. We just went through Hurricane Milton and had no issues. They gave us the peace of mind that our home and family were safe from the storm.
