Just like every time I've had to call for support, this time it was a pleasant experience. Ron was an excellent support specialist. Guided me through the procedures to fix my situation. Elizabeth, a Brinks support agent, spent two hours on the phone with me and worked through setting up six new sensors to a system that was installed be the previous homeowner. She was very patient and did everything she could to assist me in my pursuit to finishing the installation. She also set up a video conference call with another agent at a later late to troubleshoot a few issues that we had with the sensors. I highly recommend her services.

My video doorbell was flashing red. I tried using the Brink app, but couldn't fix the issue and lost between my desktop and phone. I called tech support and was put through directly to a very knowledgeable man. He guided me through the phone app, explaining what we were doing, not just telling me to "press this button". We were not able to fix the problem while he was on the line. However, I went back, took my time, and using what he taught me was able to fix the problem. I particularly appreciated his patience and his explanation. He was professional, patient, and kind - that is an invaluable combination!

I have nothing but nice things to say about this company from start to finish. Everyone one was courteous and knowledgeable about the things we talked about. They answered all my questions without making me feel silly if they had to explain something twice. I also love that they are based here in the US. And I am pretty sure when you call it won't be outsourced. 😉 I give this company and all the associates an A+.

Brinks is a deceiving company. I called to cancel my service because I sold my house and am going into a rental and they wanted me to pay for the rest of the contract! 45 payments!! If I would have known that upfront I would have never tried their service. Do not use them and don’t be fooled by their salesman. Never again.

The gentleman who was helping me solve my issue was very helpful, polite and patient. I was receiving an alert about my fire alarm having a problem connecting. This usually means I need to change the batteries. When he was assisting me with this he identified a couple issues which required an additional upgrade to the system. He walked me through this and reset all my alarm sensors that were affected. When you can actually deal with a person instead of a computer it is refreshing. I would put his name here but I don’t remember it. To the young man in Houston that helped me thank you.

I had a very disappointing experience with Brink Business Security, and would strongly encourage others to carefully consider their choices before signing up! From the start, communication was a major issue. Getting clear, timely responses from customer service was difficult, and it often felt like I was being left in the dark regarding my account and service details. Unfortunately, things only got worse when I decided to cancel the service.
After canceling my service, I scheduled an appointment for equipment removal. No one showed up, and i didn't receive any call or notification explaining the no-show. Then, unexpectedly a technician arrived on a different day without prior notice to remove the equipment. Despite the confusion and lack of coordination on their end, I was charged a trip charge. I contacted customer service to dispute the charge and expected at least a follow up or explanation. Instead, I never heard back. To make matters worse, the charge was sent to collections without any resolution or meaningful communication. Overall, my experience was marked by poor communication, disorganization, and lack of accountability. I would not recommend Brinks Business Security based on how may situation was handled.

Brinks is terrible. Their customer service is some of the worst. I was told I was signing a 2 year contract, turns out it was 5 years. My system didn’t work for months. They sent someone out to “fix” it. All he did is ask to use my bathroom for 25 minutes and then looked around and said he couldn’t figure it out and left. Now they’re harassing me about my request to cancel. I would never recommend Brinks to anyone not even my worst enemy.

My experience with Brinks Home raises serious concerns about both contract disclosure and billing practices. When I purchased my home, I was enrolled into a 3 year contract that was not disclosed or mentioned at the time of purchase. I was not made aware that I was entering a long term contractual obligation. On March 2nd, I was charged $255 in advance for a service period covering March 27th through September 27th. This means I was billed for services well before the service period had even started.
When I attempted to cancel, I first contacted the company in February and was told it was too early and to call back in April. I followed those instructions and called again in March, and was again told it was still too early. After multiple calls and inconsistent guidance from representatives, the cancellation process was finally completed.
Due to these delays and conflicting instructions, the final cancellation fell just outside their stated 30 day notice requirement. As a result, the company is withholding part of the prepaid amount and only reimbursing $216 out of $255, citing prorated charges for the intervening period. The cancellation process required multiple phone calls, repeated follow ups, and inconsistent information from staff regarding timing requirements. The guidance provided directly impacted my ability to comply with their stated cancellation window. Based on this experience, the combination of undisclosed long term contracting, advance billing for future service periods, and strict cancellation enforcement applied after conflicting instructions creates a process that is difficult to navigate fairly as a customer. I would not recommend this company.

Started in 2017 and wife renewed by phone. Very difficult to cancel contract, and very predatory. There whole billing system is predatory! Went from paying by mail, 'cause they charge $6 to send statement, $10 to pay with agent and virtual never working properly and their response is their portal, which was not part of contract. I have not nor will not do business with company that changes payment form and method in middle of contract. So my suggestion to fellow veterans is avoid Brinks SECURITY. I have a couple auto pay, but that option was given up front, not forced on me in middle of contract, then forced to pay $570 to terminate. Ask questions with Brinks. Not a company to do business for military, especially active without strict understanding if you relocated during contract.

Brinks when first contracted requires 3 year monitoring contract which starts low and within a year is costing $82/month. You pay for the equipment (cameras and contacts and Control panels) upon start of install. After 3 years I can tell you with absolute certainty that Brinks is below average as a security company. The cameras (expensive) were constantly not available to see live (kind of important) and recording by a menacing SVR you must place next to your modem to hard connect via cable is worthless. When you try to pull up recordings, half are unavailable because camera was not getting signal. NOTE: IF YOU WANT SECURE SURVEILLANCE SECURITY DO NOT GO WIRELESS IF YOU HAVE A HOME OVER 2500 SF, cameras will have constant intermittent service for 3 years
I had mentioned this within one month of service and they came out 3 times eventually putting in some tiny device that all the cameras would receive signal, which I was amused as it was next to my 1.2 GB of data incoming and 600 MB outgoing which one modems covers my whole house, but it gets better I pay for two of these modems to make sure every inch has service. STILL DID NOT WORK. Cameras kept going out. I bought this house and it already had a hardwired security system, meaning contacts to all openable windows and doors are pre wired when they built the house. I only needed cameras.
The original install was by ADP. When a representative showed up he told me ADP was now Brinks. I did not question it since the home was built circa 2000 and it was now 2023. Okay, so they sold me cameras and new panels and had me sign contract. So when they could not get the cameras to work regularly, I was told my house was too big. I mentioned two modems and they said ALL must be on same router/modem. Ok then I asked split the cameras to half and half on each modem, which they said we would have to charge you for two accounts?
I finally gave up and waited for my contract to expire. In February 2026 I called to verify expiration of contract and date of expiration. I Asked to please schedule NOW to cancel on expiration. They told me they cannot cancel in advance. (I called 3X to hear this scam of an excuse). I called April 6, two days after expiration and refreshed their memory of prior calls on their records and discussions and informed them I am not extending services past contract expiration. I spent 10 minutes listening to them try to offer me less per month, that my system cameras were really old and new ones would be much better (same story I was told in 2023) and eventually they said I have to sign a cancellation via Docusign which they sent, I signed, I got an email stating contract is cancelled but for $27/month we can keep going!!!!
On April 15 they charged me for a months service $82? I called my bank and said the charge should not have been processed due to cancellation on April 8. I decided to also call Brinks to basically say WTF? I'm told you had a contract but it went to month because we thought it was better and on Month to Month you must have 30 day notice of cancellation?? Remember they didn't allow advanced notice to not renew at contract expiration!! Scam and scam again.
They Deliberately mislead you from products, services and even making sure they get added monthly billings when your contract expires. It's all on you and you must contact them no more than and no sooner than 48 hours of your contract expiration date despite having emails saying services are terminated via email April 9. Really, really unethical sales and customer service at Brinks. BEWARE

Halfway through our service agreement, the battery in our main panel died. After attempting to get help through chat on the app, I tried to use AI instructions. It is not a simple process. After looking for YouTube videos, I decided to quit. Why does a simple battery change require so many steps? We will continue to pay monthly with no service because Brinks does not allow you any discount to pay in full or reduced amount to terminate the contract. They will get paid, but they lost a good customer and our friends and family will also use another company.

Brinks are just scammers. They were charging me $36/month. I asked them a new Quolsys Panel 4. They said that it cost $600, but they will offer it to me at a discounted price of $400 but I have to pay a $200 technician fee. I said i don't need any technician, I can set it up by myself. They said it not possible. So I bought me the Quolsys Panel 4 on eBay brand new for $200, and I told them that I want to cancel the service. They called me some days later with a 2 years contract and $26/month. I said no. They called me again some days later with $19.99 and 2 years contract. I said no again. Some days later they called me with $19.99 and no contract. I said YES. Two days later, they billed me $25!!! I called them and cancel for good. Thay are just a bundle of scammers!!!

I have been a Brinks customer for many years and my recent experience with a couple of service calls again solidifies my decision to continue to be a customer. The lock system on my front door recently reached end of life. There was an initial in home consultation to help me figure out the problem. The tech was professional, kind, and very helpful. He sent me a picture of exactly the new system to purchase. Upon purchasing, Brinks was able to remotely walk me through the installation and set up, and at no charge! The tech who assisted with that virtual call was wonderful. She was patient with me and provided every clear instructions and coaching. And Brinks has the tools for a very effective remote solution. Horrible experience - will never use this company or recommend this company to anyone. My parents passed away in August 2025. Both of them, the same week. In the beginning of October, as I was sifting through the many things I had to do to take care of my parents' affairs, I called Brinks. The gentleman on the phone said I could not pay their bill, but I could "take over their account" and get it "switched into my name" - which was great because we still had to figure out how to sell the house. He walked me through all the things, had me sign some stuff and I was on to the next task. Fast forward to December, when the house went on the market, and I called to cancel the service because the realtor said it was a good idea.
The lady on the phone said that what I had actually done was create a new contract of my own, and that I was locked into a 4-year contract. I told her specifically that no one had mentioned anything about a new contract and that it was wrong of them to do that. Not one person mentioned a new 4-year contract. In order to cancel this new contract, I had to pay $1500. My other option was "to give it to a family member". My family just died. But thanks. After multiple calls and seeing if there was any other option, I was told that I knowingly signed the contract and that I was responsible for the bill. So I paid it. There, you got your money. Thank you for being a good lesson, and thank you for being an awful, shady company. I would give 0 stars if I could.

Run, don't walk away from this company. Their service is terrible, if you're lucky enough to get a repair appointment they call a few days before because they overbook to change it

Portia answered the call with professionalism and was cordial, polite and respectful. She recapped the issue as well as instructions on monitoring signal strength and discussing with my internet provider if lag continues. She assured me that if it proved to be a camera issue I had the protection plan which would cover my equipment. She queried if I was aware of low battery on door lock and if I had someone to replace battery or if I knew how to do so.

The support person was pleasant and he was helpful after being on hold for a long time. But this alarm system is old, the app is ANTIQUATED and cannot be updated without calling tech support. Brinks also puts you on a contract that they will not provide you with a copy.

This company is not very commit to customer satisfaction. I talk to several representatives requesting that I want to cancel my service like 2 year ago and they always fill me with promise that I will paid less that I was paying but a year later I was paying more that what we have agree. Not a good company to do business.

When one of my keypads stopped working, I contacted them and was informed that my pads were no longer valid. A wonderful technician came and installed new ones. Dion was very respectful and efficient. He explained how the new ones work and showed me how to get answers to any new questions that I didn’t think of when he was here. Very happy with this company. I did not realize when I signed up that there was a 5 year contract attached. The installer had a difficult time getting the camera set up. He hooked it into one of my Kitchen outlets and the Brinks system never seemed to work quite right. Also that kitchen outlet never worked the same, only one of the plugs worked after the installation. I am having some financial difficulties and called to cancel the service only to find out that I would have to buy out my contract for $1,139.59 or continue with a service that I am not using for 19 more months. I would rather be robbed by strangers than a business that I had put my trust into. The only proof of purchase that I have is my auto payments.

After being a loyal customer for greater than 7 years, I needed to cancel my home security service with Brinks due to unforeseen life challenges. I canceled my service prior to the next months billing cycle, however was charged for another month of service. After speaking with 3 customer service representatives, I was not able to get reimbursed for the month charged after my cancellation. I am very disappointed in Brinks Home Security customer service. When I am back to being financially stable and looking for home security, I will absolutely not call Brinks Home Security. Extraordinarily disappointed.

Customer service was helpful and professional. The service was was done well, but left a mess of misc. Wires cut off from the plugs, and left were he was doing install. I had to clean up the garage and outside patio area were he was working on the camera. Service person no matter how good the technician can be, leaving his work area dirty and not taking the unused parts with him is the worst technician in my view.

I did not sign up with brinks but I had with a smaller company who was bought out by brinks and changed my service into theirs. I was not happy about this as I would have went with a big corp if I wanted to in the beginning, they offer you to lower your bill however it extends your contract x amount of time. They want 100$ minimum every time you move or relocate for a service tech to come out and put sticky tab sensors on your windows and doors when anyone who has peeled a sticker can do. The system we had literally hung on the wall and had a plug into the outlet. Had the alarm go off in the past and had no phone call from operator nor police presence arrive to property. Be careful going with small company’s they will sometimes sell your contract to bigger corporations as such happened to me.

This morning, I checked my bank account and noticed I was being double charged for security service. And because this happened once before, I was frustrated and ready to switch carrier. But Tameko, the service representative, listened politely to my complaint, professionally handled the situation to my satisfaction. She informed me of the glitch that had occurred and was working on correcting the mistake. I have been with Brinks Security for over fifteen years and have been satisfied with their services. They have some of the best representatives and technicians and I trust their services.

We were scammed into getting Brinks by a 3rd Party promising to lower our cable/internet bill by bundling with Brinks. However our cable/internet provider informed us they are NOT affiliated with the 3rd party or Brinks and stated it was a scam. The 3rd Party refuses to let us cancel the service. Brinks stayed only the 3rd Party can cancel, not Brinks. The problem we have with Brinks is their inability to cancel the service (which we aren’t using). Important to note that even though Brinks states they can’t cancel, they did try to charge our bank account for service. If they can try to charge, then surely they can cancel!

I called today regarding a double auto payment and the representative knew exactly what the problem was and explained that they were working on fixing the error. I was helped immediately, not placed on hold and it was refreshing to not have to repeat myself twice and to feel confident with the solution when I hung up. Brinks provides quick service and is by far the best alarm system.

I wouldn't give them any stars but I have to give at least one. 1st payment goes through cool. During the 2nd payment my card was lost. Got new one in. Added it to their auto pay. I wake up in the morning to 697.00 out of my account. I can get on app. I see they took their payment 8x. I call them explaining what's going on. The lady I guess couldn't see what I was seeing. On her end they only took 99. And the 25 dollar service fee from tech. She said "sir why are you calling here lying". I was truly poed at this point after everything been switched to the highest and after 2 weeks of nothing I get a call this lady. Soon as I get on the phone she said, "I'm sorry for how you've been treated and I myself looked into it. After reviewing your bank statements I'm send your funds back." She was only nice thing that came out of all that and they lost a customer.

Well, where to start. I was with Brinks for almost 8 years. I never had a great need for their services, but when I did need it, it became a nightmare that I didn't foresee. My family had to sell our house, and move to accommodate taking care of our parents, and decided to change alarm carriers. I was told that I still had 20 months left on a contract I didn't sign. Evidently, having someone come out to the house around 3 years ago to replace faulty, degraded equipment constituted signing a contract. I was told I have to continue to pay the last 20 months of my "contract", no exceptions, even though I don't live at the residence anymore.

Although the customer representative was truly kind and helpful. Brinks does not have well equipped staff in order to assist when things go arrive. I had to go almost a month and a half without service because they couldn’t get anyone out there to my property to fix my cameras, even though I still had to pay for the service. Very disappointed.

We have been using Brinks security for I think at least six years now. Great company, reasonably priced, and excellent service!! The service advisor that I spoke to earlier about a little situation we were having cleared it up right away. She was very corrigible, spoke clearly and knew the business. Spent all but maybe no more than 10 minutes on the phone with her. We discovered what the problem was and she's gonna have the parts sent out to us in a few days. You know how it is sometimes when you're trying to fix something or make something right again. You get somebody on the phone that you can't understand. They either talk too loudly or not loudly enough and don't really know their business. Well that's not the case here. She was incredible. I give her five stars.

The person who helped me was very kind and was able to help fix the issues I was having. She ordered new sensors for me, removed the one that was extraneous for what I needed, and offered help for my house camera (I didn’t have time for that today). The AI voice was the worst most annoying sound I’ve ever heard. I vastly prefer number menus, I can repeat the menu if I have more than one issue. I can’t summarize 2 for the world’s most annoying and useless computer.

Had an issue with my doorbell camera not recording nor notifying me that someone was at the door unless they rang the bell. Service agent fixed the condition with a remote reboot in just a couple of minutes. Agent was very friendly and pleasant to speak to. She handled my problem well.

My auto pay somehow got canceled and I didn't know it. Also my credit card was not updated. I don't know if this was my error or something happened at Brinks. I called and spoke to Allie who was so understanding and was my angel. She updated my credit card and paperless billing and was able to get back my usual monthly billing amount.

I am extremely frustrated with my experience with Brinks Home. It has been nearly two months since I requested the relocation from my old place to my new one, and they still haven’t set up the equipment. I’ve tried to reach them multiple times and even scheduled an appointment, but everything keeps getting delayed. I'm tired of this situation and feel it’s important to warn others not to go through what I have. Meanwhile, I still have to pay my bills even though they haven’t started the alarm security system in my new home. It feels like they are taking my money while dragging their feet on the relocation.
Communication has been a nightmare, with conflicting information from various representatives. Bruce L. Sale Manager, assured me that there would be no charge for the relocation and advised me to contact the RELOCATION Department, which I did. However, every representative I talk to seems completely unaware of the relocation process and insists I need to pay for the equipment. I'm very upset that none of the representatives provide consistent information and it feels like they are just making things up and disregarding Brinks Home's policy. I demand that this issue be resolved immediately, or I will have to terminate my services with your company. Also, I feel like they are trying to avoid communicating with me because I am deaf and communicate in American Sign Language (ASL). With that said, they kept delaying too long and ignore my request for 2 months, so that makes me feel like I'm being discriminated against DEAFNESS!

I would not do business with them again. I dropped service with them after 20 years with them and the company they brought out. They kept going up on monthly bill about every 6 months. I found a local company for 3 months service was cheaper than one month of Brinks.

A short wait on hold to speak to a representative. He was very pleasant and helpful. He walked me thru step by step, sending pics via text to show what he explained, and after a few minutes, my system was once again communicating with my phone. We ran a test to be sure Brinks was receiving my alarm, and all was good. Very good experience and this is coming from someone who does not have patience to do techy things.

My review is to express my extreme dissatisfaction with recent technician visit and overall business. The service provided was unacceptable and lacked the professionalism, thoroughness, and clear communication I expect from a home security provider. The technician failed to address the issues I needed help with, and several concerns were either overlooked or handled poorly. Instead of providing solutions, the visit left me with unresolved technical problems and additional frustration. Because of this experience, my trust in your company has been significantly damaged. Reliability and competent service are essential for a security provider, and since these standards were not met, I no longer feel confident recommending Brinks Home to my friends or family. Significant improvements in your customer care, accountability, and quality of support are in desperate need moving forward.

I called Brinks to see if I could get a lower monthly cost for my security system since I’m a senior citizen on a fixed income. The young lady I spoke to was very kind and so helpful. She was able to give me a great quote which is good for 24 months. I’m so grateful. I’ve had my security system a long time and feel much safer with it. Now I know I can continue to afford it. An absolute trainwreck of a company. ZERO ethics, I was conned in to a 3 year contract, and when I asked to see the documents, all I could get was a typed email that my KID could have typed saying thank you for renewing my contract. I rank Brinks very low because they would not help me while I was under my contract. But as soon as my contract expired, they were very helpful. I paid for this for a year and a half without being able to use the system. I will be choosing another company as soon as I have time to do some research.

In October, 2022, we were approached by Chey ** that our ADT account had to be replaced by Brinks. When she came, she explained how the process would work and began with a contract. What bothered me was that I had to sign a 5-year contract again. My ADT account was well over 10 years. I should've known something was wrong. Chey was very deceptive. I am about to turn 71 and we are having to sell my property because of my health. Since I am approaching my 4th year on the contract, I guess I will have to pay a penalty unless the new buyer agrees to transfer my plan. I have read plenty of other views about Brinks, how you are put on hold indefinitely when you attempt to cancel your contract. One person viewed Brinks as predatory.

Brinks is ok, but their monitoring system of home cams is not perfect as they have been unconnected due to trying to connect to a new wifi & the software refuses to do that till you CALL Brinks to modify it to connect to the new wifi.

We moved and stopped using Brinks in March 2025. We canceled Brinks immediately upon moving and continue getting notices that they are coming out to make repairs and do maintenance. I have called and told them to remove my email, and we continue getting emails. It is bothering us and when it stopped.

My representative became very proactive to make this Zoom installation call succeed, even more-so, once he learned that this camera was to be aimed directly over my 91 yr old’s mother’s bed for safety. The original appointment to have an installer come was cancelled same day. After that, I had waited extra days due to a holiday weekend….(After 2 others with different instructions were unable to remotely get this camera to communicate with the main monitor). I am grateful to him. I chose Brinks to be able to simply run a quick errand knowing mom was safe in my home. Additionally, I can view her with sound on my cell and even hear her breathing. Very disappointing experience after being a loyal customer for years. My monthly rate was increased without clear communication, and when my credit card expired, I was not notified through any modern method (email or text). Instead, I was charged late fees and paper statement fees, which could have easily been avoided. Customer service was frustrating — I was transferred between multiple departments with no real resolution. The “loyalty” and “win-back” teams were unable to offer a reasonable rate close to what I had been paying, despite the same service being widely available for less through other providers. Even more concerning, I could not get a clear answer about releasing my system from Alarm.com after cancellation, which should be a straightforward process. This experience reflects poor transparency and outdated customer practices. I would not recommend Brinks based on how existing customers are treated.

While the support I received from the support representatives was excellent, the solution they offered did not resolve all of my concerns about my contract. I was able reduce my monthly rate, but at the cost of adding another year to the contract. Because of life altering changes since 2025, I was hoping to avoid monitoring costs going forward. That means that I was willing to forego monitoring. They were not able to cancel monitoring service because of the contract. I am 75 years old, My wife passed away in August 2025, and I am on fixed income.

I was first coerced into increasing my coverage only to find out that my equipment wasn't researched and ended up not being covered. That was then followed up by a "tech" who was over 2 hours late, with no notifications and a passive aggressive attitude. He then tried to pass/blame the work that needed to be done onto my HVAC guy. Truly, a frustrating and angered experience. No one has even called to follow up after writing another awful review. Their customer service has gone and now I'm looking for new companies that actually care.

My service has not worked adequately since it has been installed. My camera on my driveway hasn't worked for over a year and have troubleshooted it over the phone with just excuses that it is not reaching the wifi, however, I have no issues with any other electronic reaching to that same point and works just fine. The doorbell works here and there. So I am paying a monthly fee for services that basically just pays to have an alarm with cameras that do not work. Customer service has been no help at all in getting this fixed. I will be charged if a rep comes out to try to fix it or troubleshoot it. At this point I am looking into getting a different provider with better quality service.

As the company has grown and advanced in technology not once have they reached out to make sure our items are up to par and working correctly. We have been customers with the same old sensors since 2015 and they are by far outdated and not working correctly. We have paid month after month and it wasn't until we had a recent change in secretaries that someone noticed nothing had been working properly. As much money that has been paid out to such a large company I believe this to be a huge issue. Best of luck to you but we will soon be taking our business elsewhere. Thank you.

For the most part we are not satisfied. Our outdoor camera has been offline since the tech came the last time. Not sure what's going on but we've tried to unplug and restart the router but it only last a little while and we don't have any yard signs from Brink.

HORRIBLE COMPANY and terrible business experience! Bait and switch… nothing but deceptive lies. I’ve been trying to resolve surveillance camera equipment issues for over 6 months to no avail. Our original surveillance equipment was installed and maintained by Cox Business and we were extremely happy with it. Five years without issues. No notice that service provider was changing from COX to Brinks other than the billing change. After nothing but the runaround for six months I’ve been trying to cancel our service for over a month and can’t get them to cancel the account. I guess I’ll be seeing them in court! Don’t walk away from Brinks… RUN!!!

I have to say that my transition to Brinks, after they acquired my account, was not good. They tried to charge me for a visit when my equipment was no longer working, so I canceled. I won’t be returning for substandard service on a product I can get elsewhere.

Absolutely horrible service. I've been calling for a month to notify my cameras are not working and they keep giving me the runaround. They've sent me to two authorized service dealers to come fix the problem, and neither has time to come in. They keep rescheduling. I will be changing my service to a different company.

Go with anyone else besides Brinks. My MIL is 94 years old and is now paying for a service when none of her equipment works and there is not a technician in her area. They will not let her out of her contract although they cannot service the area. They wanted her to climb on a ladder and service her equipment. We leave hours away and have to work on it every time we are the there. If she had the money to pay for two services, we would go with a different company. We are praying her house doesn't catch fire or get robbed before the contract is up.

I have Brinks and if I could cancel, which I can’t, they basically told me I have no choice but to pay them $200+ to come out and fix the problems that weren’t taken care of 6 years earlier when no one came to fix an issue (had an appointment). Stay away from brinks, do not use them. Horrible customer service and only care about money and not doing what’s right for the customer!

Contacted Brinks, my home security vendor, with an inquiry concerning monthly billing. After speaking with the virtual Veronica, I had a very short wait (3 min) before I could speak to Ty, a very courteous customer service member, who immediately clarified my billing issue, detailing extra charge and taxes PLUS she also answered a question concerning expired batteries left on home site after upgrade. SHe was quick, courteous, patient and professional. Nice to speak to a real person to get real answers and no robot runaround.

The equipment worked well to begin with. To be fair we used it for around 6 years. Then it started getting glitchy, sending out alerts for no reason, etc. But the main issue was the price. It was MUCH higher than other options with the same features.

I’ve had a very disappointing experience with Brinks Home Security. The company has consistently failed to properly repair or maintain its equipment. I was also charged additional fees for extra camera frames, which felt unreasonable given the ongoing issues with performance. The front door camera, in particular, failed multiple times and ultimately had to be removed due to lack of reliability. Despite these repeated problems, the level of service and support did not meet expectations. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this company. I will not be renewing my contract.

I've been a Brinks customer for over ten years. In that time I've come to rely on their system to protect me and my property, and they haven't failed. I think their customer service is excellent and their security systems are well made. I highly recommend Brinks for your next security system. You'll also appreciate the price.

Had a helpful young lady who updated our autopay after my credit card renewed and had a different expiration date and CCV number. Asked for new yard signs and decals and was told we have to pay for them now. I’ve been with Brinks for over 30 years and this was off-putting.

I’m SO THANKFUL I PURCHASED BRINKS SECURITY to help with my home's security. I was dealing with a bad service with my cameras only working 40% of the time.. SO FAR THIS BRINKS SECURITY HAS “EVERYTHING“ WORKING 24/7.. I’m so thankful for BRINKS HELPING ME.

DON'T DO IT!! We had a contract with Brinks for 1 year and decided to switch companies when the year was up. We had all of the Brinks material removed and kept receiving a bill, apparently the contract was changed to say we wanted 60 months of service. They continued to bill us without any of their security material and would not send the original contract to prove the dates agreed. We continued to pay Brinks for 2 years before we had the money to pay them out fully. I will never work with Brinks again. Ever!!
