    Costco was the main reason to buy the Link Interactive. It's easy installing the system. I have installed the sensors on the drywall. I would suggest though that it would be helpful if they have stickers to go with the motion sensors so that the sensors won't easily fall from the wall and would stick properly on the wall. Since installing the system, I'm feeling confident when I leave. Also, the staff of Link Interactive were courteous and friendly when I called to make adjustments in the account settings.

    I was looking for a security system and I got a quote from ADT, who I had a system in the house already, and it was overpriced and featureless in many ways. My neighbor had a Link Interactive sign in his window and thought I'd check it out so I went online and I saw it was a do-it-yourself one.     Installing the system wasn’t too bad, although some of the instructions included were not accurate, so those might need some updating. I called one time because the smoke/freeze/heat detector turned out to be flawed and it had to be replaced, and the people from their customer service were very helpful and polite on the phone. Link Interactive is a great system particularly for the price, and so far, I haven’t had any problems. It's a relief not to have to worry about leaving my home unattended.

    Costco had an ad for Link Interactive, and when I started looking into it, it seemed relatively straightforward and I thought that I might be able to pull it off. Installing it was easy. Everything was pre-programmed and the sensors have been set up ahead of time, so it was plug it in. The cellular mobile board, however, needed to be replaced, so they sent me a new one. It was easy to change it. We were able to get the cellular system up and running and started sticking everything where it needed to be. We also got a thermostat and an electronic lock that were very easy to get programmed and hooked into the system. It's a great system and I'm looking into ordering one for our primary residence home. My in-laws even said, "Wow! That's cool! Can you take a look at our system and maybe put a Link system in there, too?" So it could be growing and growing that way.

    We went through an exhaustive search of various alarm companies and did a cross analysis of what was offered and what wasn’t and what I really came down to think is the things that we needed, Link provided the most value at the least cost.     It’s a good decision to switch to Link Interactive. They've been my security provider for two months, and so far it's been pretty good. I had ADT for many years, and I think security is the right direction to move into this system because it is better than ADT. I did the installation by myself. I ran into some issues, but basically I knew the installation. I just wish the documentation from Link Interactive could have been better, especially for sections that have the initial password and it starts to set up the customized options. I didn’t feel it was very easy to follow from the original documentation. I had to search online in order to figure out how to do it. I feel that it takes quite a bit of skills to set it up and it's not something that everybody can handle. And I feel that there are things that the system can improve. I still have problems setting it up because of my garage opener, and I don’t think I can fix it for now.

    I’ve called the customer support and also emailed for support, and generally, they have a very good team. They’re very knowledgeable and they responded to my questions in a very short time, and they also do follow-ups with my questions. Moreover, with Link Interactive's system, I feel more assured about certain security settings. For example, my daughter comes back at 3:30, and with this new system, I will be notified when she opens the door. So I don’t have to call her every day to check if she’s home or not, which is very convenient and saves me a lot of time. Another benefit is that because I installed the system myself, I understand the system better so I can fix it if any issues show up. So I don’t have to call the company and wait for somebody to show up.

    I've been using Link Interactive as our home security service provider for six weeks. I had a little bit of problems installing it. Most of it was fine, but I had a problem getting some of the monitors programmed. I think one wasn't programmed correctly or maybe I screwed up the little motion sensors. I called Link Interactive team and they were helpful. I also had an issue with a module that went out, and they quickly sent me a new one and made it easy for me to return the part that was bad. I felt supported when I called tech support.

    Since installation, I feel safer. It talks a lot which annoys my husband, like when the door opens, it will say, "Door Open". I'm sure it's the way I have it programmed. It is a little annoying but I know that I can turn it off if I programmed it differently. Whenever it's not armed, I still have it programmed to do things because I might forget to alarm it one day.

    My experience with Link Interactive has been good. I really like their product and I have my house full of motion detectors. I'm getting ready to place another order for more stuff. However, I had to take some things back because I didn't think their Plunger product get anywhere as quite what I was looking for with the door. I didn't feel like paying the carpenters to put those things in, which would've been a chore. A lot of door frames, if it's studded, they're four or five 2x4s side by each so that's a lot of drilling.

    We were out for dinner one day at the local roadhouse watching the football game and when we came back, someone had attempted to break into our garage. After talking to the police, the officer suggested a security system. (They suggested cameras as well. We haven't done that yet but it's something down the road for us.) So I searched online for different security systems when a friend mentioned Link Interactive. One thing I noticed online is that Link Interactive has a higher customer service rating than, for instance, ADT which from what I've read has a very low customer service rating. Costco has a system so I went to their site and found Link Interactive there. I've been using them for a couple of months now and I would give them an excellent rating.

    However, my system didn't install easily enough and I have intermittent problems with the sensors in my detached garage. The fiber sensor from the central control unit is around 75 or 80 feet. It flicks in and out, and the problem seems to be related to the cold weather. Now I'm having a problem with the one on the other end of the garage that's the closest to the house. It has been flicking in and out the last few days. It's not critical because, although it's not working, it's okay and will start working again. But I'm not sure about the one on the south door. It may not come back and I've been getting warnings about it over the last couple of days, so I thought I'll have a wait and see on it before I call somebody and get it warrantied.

    But for the most part, since it's been installed, this system gives me a feeling of confidence when we set the alarm that whenever I leave the house while my wife is still in bed or when we go out to eat, that there's a better sense of security. Having Link Interactive is relieving and I have less need to worry.

    I tried several home securities before and I found two problems. The first problem was some company such as ADT had different home security company. Since I didn’t want to do it with ADT or that company, I eliminated it. The second problem was some people were very aggressive in pushing for the product, and I don’t like to be pushed as a customer. As for Link Interactive's side, the person that I did an appointment with was outstanding compared to the rest. He was the key in my decision to get Link Interactive. Everything was perfect and I really enjoyed their sales force in terms of selling to customers. They did not hike their product. They didn’t say that their product was better than the others.

    I also find that Link Interactive's system is much more user friendly than the ADT system. I can use my phone to access the system key in my bed. I don’t know the reaction time because we have not tested yet, but I feel that I am secure at night. I know that it works because one morning, my wife opened one door. I had no delay and boom, the alarm went on. Beside the sensors, I liked that it was very easy to start. The monitoring price is also one of the best. I have been using Link Interactive for about one month now and the experience is great, smooth, and with no surprise expenses.

    I went online and looked at reviews of various providers on Yelp. I found that the nationals did not have good Yelp reviews and the locals had good reviews but were much more expensive than Link Interactive. So I chose Link Interactive. When I had help in setting up and I had some questions on using the system, I got a real person centered in Ogden, Utah rather than in New Delhi, so it was easy to understand the person. They've been incredibly helpful with great attitude. I have only great things to say about them. I'm the least handy man on Earth and I have no problems installing their security system. It's very simple.

    The only place that I ran into a problem is my front door's door frame which is made out of metal. I don't have a drill to drill through it so I had somebody come into my house this weekend to do it to put in the device. But overall, it's easy to install, great support, and the personnel that I’ve dealt with when I’ve had to call in with questions makes it a definite 5-star experience.

    Installing Link Interactive security system was pretty straightforward, and is good, overall. I had a different security system before and they're pretty much the same. However, Link’s biggest room for improvement, is for them to have somebody on the other end who could walk through the process with the people who purchased their self-install system as I didn’t find their customer service very helpful in terms of that.

    I was shopping around for a new home alarm and I happened to stumble upon Link Interactive. I read some of the reviews (some on Yelp) and decided to go with them. They're a very good home security. Costwise their price is very fair, very comparable with other home alarm company, and the equipment they offer is really nice and easy to use.     The Link Interactive system was easy enough to install. It didn't need to have somebody to come, set up a schedule, and install it. However, some part is not fit on the door because of the way the door's shaped. But it's much better with a security system installed than having none at all. It's been a great experience.

    Costco supports Link Interactive so it's stable. I feel a little bit more secure. Their team is friendly when I made a couple of calls asking about installing the motion sensor which is not pretty straightforward. However I'm still not sure whether Link Interactive will respond on time if something happens so I wanna test the system just to make sure that the central monitoring team actually calls me if there is some breach. But it's very good so far.

    I have been using Link Interactive for about two months and it's been quite good. When I was installing the device, I’ve found out I was not as technical as I thought I was, but the support provided by the staff was very good in getting me up and running. I worked with at least three different people in the team at different times and they were very helpful. Apparently, I did not set the system up properly so they went through it and got me to set it up so that when I open the door, an announcement was made in that scenario. Also, the department that is responsible for sending out the additional equipment I needed when I ordered them was responsive. When I had to make an exchange, it was done well.

    Link was recommended to me by one of my colleagues and I’ve already recommended it to another friend, too. The family as a whole feel safer now that we have Link. My wife was pushing for this and she is really happy with the fact that we have the system. She’s intrigued by some of the features and so am I. One of the better part of it and making the experience really good is having the ability to arm the system using a smartphone app which is excellent. Half the time, my wife forgets to engage the system when she leaves and I have a reminder as soon as she leaves. The system is pretty good because even before then, it would send me an email reminder saying that the system was not engaged. That’s a really very good feature.

    I've had some issues on the gates. When I called in the rep, she was not able to get it to connect with the Link Interactive system. After connecting them to the door, it would not say that it was a back door when I opened it. The garage door and my back door were not connecting. They sent me some more and I got those off and then it's still not working correctly, so they're going to send me some type of pads to put on it to make them connect. When I first joined the system, the guy from support was very nice. When I went to Link Interactive I thought I was out of contract, so he was nice enough to tell me that he would delay my start time on my initial payment until I got that resolved. It was excellent customer service.

    I like the alarm. I've played with the phone app and then I have my uncle help me install the alarm. He didn't snap everything incorrectly, so I got that fixed and then it was something else. I had to go back and check the thermostat and set it up. But I like the system so far. I have to get the kinks ironed out so that I could use it effectively. Hopefully, I will get my cushion pads to finish with the door sensors so that it will work. Great experience overall.

    I was shopping for different alarms and Costco offered Link. By searching the web, there were overall many positive reviews everywhere versus the other home security systems so I took Link Interactive over other security service providers. The self-install option is good for me. I don't like people working around my house and doing things and screwing things up. During the installation, I read the instructions and attached the modules. It was super easy and I love it. The automation aspect, the integration with Alarm.com, and the ability to control things in the future are also good.

    We have little kids and the system announces whenever doors open. It's nice that we can know if a kid decided to open the door and try to sneak outside so that's a big plus. But overall, knowing that the stuff is being monitored even for fire is good, if something happens if you're away and there's a fire alarm, that someone's going to respond. The biggest thing is flexibility and ease of use. Just plug it in and it works. It's been great and I'm very happy. I definitely suggest to other people to research it.

    Me and my wife were looking for an alarm system and we knew that everybody has ADT, so we searched to see if there are any other options out there. Then we found Link Interactive. We saw that unlike others, Link only has 1 bad review in about two hundred. Also, we are a Costco member so we were able to get Costco price for it too. Installing the security system was very easy. We just had to figure out what and how to do it, and it went perfectly on our windows and doors. We tested it out and everything worked. It is also easy to navigate on the dashboard. Moreover, the Link Interactive team were very nice. I talked to the guy and he had e-mailed me additional information so he was knowledgeable about how to use the device and what to do if something was to happen and everything else.

    Now I feel safe at night because it's just me and my daughter at night. So if anything does happen, at least we know that we'll hear because we're upstairs most of the time. We can hear if something is going on the back of the house or we know that the police will come and help us with anything. It's very convenient and I'm glad that we got it. It's affordable too as long as the price don't go up.

    We just moved in September to our dream house, and we’re here in the woods. So I figured we needed a home security system, especially because there’s a particular part of the house that I’m concerned about in the basement—the lockout patio doors. My son-in-law was the one who found Link Interactive. He used to work for a security company, and he was the one who ended up working with me to pick the right stuff for our situation.

    We didn’t really want to be putting ugly sensors all over the doors and windows, so we went with motion detectors instead. When we first got Link Interactive, we forgot to shut it off a couple of times, and they called right away and it happened twice. We just have to remember when to turn it on and off. I would recommend them compared to other companies that would lie to get in the house, and once they're in, you will find out what it really costs. The system is working, but I may need to experience it for a year to be able to give a more accurate feedback.

    The system is easy to install and has a very good range. They have two options for monitoring: self-monitoring which is on the phone & the Central-station. I have not tested a central-station yet but other than that, the support is very helpful. They come on the phone right away with no crazy hold time. So far, this is one of the best things in an alarm system. I have not met a company who is that dedicated.     It so happened that I was on Costco's website when they had something about their security system. So I heard about Link Interactive and I was looking for a security system at the time. I read the reviews on YouTube and everybody was very pleased. The alarm system itself is very state of the art, very simple to use, and makes me feel connected. And you can grow and expand the system. I didn't get cameras and locks this time, but if I choose to do that in the future, I can. The customer service reps were also always pleasant when I phoned because I had a couple of questions.

    I was a little apprehensive about the do-it-yourself part of it but it was super easy. The only reason why I had any trouble is because when they pre-programmed one of my doors, they put it as a recessed door and it's not, so the security system kept telling me that it was ajar. I thought it was something I did but it was something that they had programmed, so one deduction for that. But other than that, it was very easy.

    Since installing my Link Interactive security system, I like being able to hear the voice come through and tell me what door is open, what door is closed, and everything that's going on. I like the key fobs because even if we don't program it when we're running out the door if we're in a hurry, we can close the door and hit it, and hear it programming anyway. I have the system hooked up to my cellphone so it lets me know when my kids come home from school. It does give me a sense of security.

    I found Link Interactive in a review online and I have been using it as our home security provider for about a month. So far, the experience and the Support is very good. The security system came preconfigured so it was pretty easy to set up. I didn't have any problems. Their support was friendly, courteous, and knowledgeable. I did their online chat and they fixed the problem with one of the sensors in five minutes so it was good. Daily life feels safer because it notifies me when an event happens like our door is open. But overall, it was easy to install. The user guide is online. The control panel requires a lot of effort to figure out what all the codes are because they aren't all in the manual or the information provided. It's a great module.     My overall experience with Link Interactive has been good and I’ve spoken about it with friends. Most of them already have this kind of capability, but I would recommend it. I had some help doing some walkthrough on the installation which was very helpful. However, I do currently have an outstanding problem with regard to tornado and severe weather warnings.     I did a lot of searching of different companies online and ended up looking at Link Interactive. I checked through Costco as well and I've had them since the beginning of October. However, I think the installation is overrated as easy. Although it's not super complicated, it does take time and there are a lot of instructions. What comes in the package is very limited, so we were dependent on several phone calls to their customer service and technicians to find information out. They were always great when I called. Everyone was wonderful and very empathetic. I would say things like, "Well, that would have been helpful to know." They'd say, "Yeah. We're working on it, you know, just kind of fixing some of the communication." But we should not have had to call so much. There should have been more instructions that came with it that was clear and explained things.

    Installing the device was a lot trickier than I thought and I ended up having to hire an independent person to do it. It's an incredibly difficult thing to do because no one wants to install an alarm system if you're not purchasing the monitoring. I had already purchased the actual equipment and I had the monitoring contract, so I couldn't purchase monitoring from someone else. It turned out to be something I have to do by myself.

    Another frustrating thing was that their service people let me buy parts and made me believe that I needed them but I didn't actually need and use. I sent the parts back but it took them several days to send me the return label. I had to return it when I came back from traveling which was in the window of 30 days that they give you. But I have not seen a refund and I've not seen it processed.

    It's been interesting to have the system because my husband and I travel, so we left feeling better that the system was in place not realizing that the monitoring wasn't in place. But we could turn on some lights and unlock and lock the door remotely. During the first night in the house, our house flooded and it was the alarm system that woke us up with the weather alert. If the alarm hadn't gone off, things could've been a lot worse. Having Link Interactive definitely made a change in our life.

    I've had Link for a little over 3 months now after choosing them for their low monthly cost, cost of equipment, and features. It was by far the lowest cost for the amount of features available. And with the deal through Costco, I got a very fairly priced equipment. And even still, I'm gonna order some more equipment from them. They have good prices and simple, basic instructions for installing the system. All I had to do was stick them in the places where I told them I was gonna put them.

    When I ordered it, I filled out what rooms things were going in so when everything arrived, I took them out of the box, put the sticky tape on them, put them on the doors, and put the motion sensors up. Everything was already pre-programmed. It was surprisingly very easy, way easier than I thought it would be. I've also had a lot of communication with them over the past few months on random things. They've been proactive in reaching out before I installed the system to make sure everything was okay. And then as I went to order some new sensors and return some that I'm not using, they're very helpful in accepting any sensors I'm not using and providing me with good cost on these sensors. I've been really happy with Link Interactive.

    I was looking for a home security system and I did a search on Costco's website because we're Costco members and most of the time have been really satisfied with their products. So I found Link Interactive and checked it out and checked out the reviews online, and it seemed like a good fit for what we wanted. I have used them since mid-August. Installing the system was really easy. I've had interactions with the team at Link Interactive. We had a digital keypad lock that we ordered that was not working right. So I had to call and they did tech support with me. And then I ended up sending it in and they sent me a new one to replace it.

    This is the first system in this new house that we just moved to. Installing the system was overall pretty okay. It's a little bit technical. I don't think it's for everybody. If I do want to get into programming which entry points are supposed to be timed to give you 30 seconds or 60 seconds or whichever to fire immediately, I had to go through the programming a little bit to get that going the right way. I had to add a few more sensors. I think that other ones are pre-programmed. But whenever I needed to add a couple sensors, I had to go through that. Interacting with their team was fine. When I needed help to get through that, they're helpful.

    When we bought the package, the instructions that came from Link Interactive were very clear and it worked well. We haven't installed it completely yet because we have some more cameras and sensors. But the basic window and door sensors are 'Ugh!'. They were according to the package and they went in quite easily. I found that the customer support team was very responsive too. It's just that we had trouble with this other piece we got with it, they're called Yale Touchscreen locks. It's very difficult to work with. We bought them through Link Interactive but they're not actually their product but was supposed to coordinate with theirs.

    My aunt was looking into getting a security system for my home as a housewarming gift, and she had seen advertisements at Costco for Link Interactive. We investigated it and went with it. Installing the system was easy. I had some hiccups but that was mostly my house's fault than it was the actual equipment. We had to create a housing compartment within the frame of the door to hold the sensors because they wouldn't sit flush with the frames that were already on my house.

We lost connection with the box itself when they tried to contact me through there but they called me through my phone.     I heard about Link Interactive through Costco and I've been a user for about a week. Installing the system was very easy but the motion sensors were a bit harder. There's no way for me to test the motion sensor position so that has been the hardest part. If it's being put up, it detects you so you need to really leave it there, move away, then walk in and test it. And to do that, there's no way to hold it onto the wall because if a hole is already built, then the wall is already damaged.

    I have used Link Interactive as my home security provider for a month. The installation was not quite as easy as what they made it seem. I was a little bit disappointed with the video cameras because they are plug-in only. If I were to have one on my front porch and have it plugged in, someone could easily just come unplug it. They come with a backup battery, but it's still not hidden. There would be this huge cord running to an electrical outlet on my front porch. I sent the camera back. We called the team to add a couple more glass shatter sensors. They were very nice.

    I'm very satisfied with the system. I know the glass shatter sensors work because We put two heavy towels on our metal towel rod. It dropped and that rod fell onto the marble floor below making a loud sound. The alarm wasn't armed but it alerted that that sensor had activity.     Link Interactive's monthly monitoring was a little less expensive than some of the competitors for similar type of service so I ended up going with them.     With Link Interactive, the monthly payment was the same with more features than other places; it would be double with the same features. I've had them as my home security provider for a month and a half and so far, so good. There has been no hassle and they knew how to respond to my questions. Installing the system was easy. I just stick it on the door or window that I wanted to but I had to call them to make sure it was activated. It's mainly for knowing when the kids go out to make sure that I can hear when somebody opens the door.

    It has been a month now since we installed Link Interactive. It was very easy and simple. I just love it especially the price since we're on a budget. Sleeping has never been more peaceful, that's for sure. We are still learning the whole system. I use it only during bedtime for now. My husband is not in the routine yet, so I don’t want him to come in during the day and be in a shock with that. One time, I had bad luck turning it on when I was leaving the house through the panel. It gives me like 30 secs or 1 minute to get out. Once I opened the door within that one minute walking out, the alarm just start going off. I was wondering if I did something wrong or not. Overall, I would recommend them.

    We’re still not done installing the Link Interactive system, but that’s because we haven’t gotten around to finish the last couple things. We have a 25-foot ceiling I need to get up on to put in the smoke detector and camera. But the installation seems easy. The people we’ve talked to or corresponded with have been fabulous.     I would recommend Link Interactive.     I've been using Link Interactive for 28 days now. I decided to use it because I was a do-it-yourselfer and I don't like installers in the house. And it was pretty simple installing it. I’m a field tech so I work on computers and electronics so I’ve done it before. Their sales guy was also professional, answered all the questions that I had. I had a bunch of contacts and motion sensors from my old alarm system at another house and I have them figured we could use those things again. We could use a translator so it saved me some money not having to replace all of those contacts and I was able to use all the contacts here that I have in the house already.

    I had the system on the garage door kit. And since installing it, I feel safer. As soon as I hit the “Arm”, it makes sure that the garage door is closed. If it’s not closed it will close it for me itself. I don’t have to worry about checking the garage door. I can do everything from my phone - adjust the temperature. The home is automated now. It just makes it easier and my wife feels more safe because it makes sure things are locked up. Overall, it's a good experience.     I was going through an online search to check on some security systems and saw that Costco was endorsing Link Interactive. Costco does a lot of research before they endorse any product and I believe in Costco products so I got their products. Their team was good trying to help out. But I had a tough time in installing the security system. One of the cameras was okay initially, but after a couple of days it stopped working. It was a weekend so I couldn't get in touch with customer service to get it done. After I got in touch with them, though they tried hard, they couldn't make it work. So they sent a new camera to me and I set this up and I'm planning to come back to order one. Other than that technical glitch which was fixed, the overall experience was good.
