I like the house and the deal that LGI Homes gave me. The buying process was smooth and professional. Most of the transactions and processes happened when I was out of the country. I came back to sign the closing documents. Everybody was helpful. Every time I had anything that I needed to know, there were two people that were willing to answer any questions right away.
The quality of the house is good like any normal construction structure. The community is great and quiet. Everything looks organized and clean in the community. It's a good community. Although it is under construction, it is handled professionally. It is not loud and there is no traffic of heavy equipment. I like it. I don't know any other subdivisions, but if people are going to buy a house or looking around, I would definitely recommend LGI Homes. I'm really happy with the home that I purchased.
Thank you for sharing your incredible experience with LGI Homes! We are thrilled to hear that our team was able to make the home buying process smooth and stress-free for you, especially while managing everything overseas. It's wonderful to know that our quick response times and service met your expectations seamlessly. Your recommendation means a lot to us, and we hope that you continue to find happiness in your community and beautiful new home. Enjoy every moment!

All homes are expensive, but I figured I could get a new one for about the same price as a house that’s 30 to 50 years old. I had no problem buying a home with LGI. Everyone I worked with was on top of everything and very responsive. The financial guy, especially, was exceptional since he took care of everything. The experience was as easy as anything I’ve ever done, and even easier than buying a car.
I love my home. The only negative thing is it doesn’t have hand towel rings or bath towel racks in the two bathrooms. In a $341,000 home, that should have been a part of it. But as far as the community, everything looks good. It seems like a pretty nice place. I don't have any complaints.
Thank you for sharing your experience with LGI Homes! We're thrilled to hear that our team was able to make the home buying process smooth and stress-free for you. Becoming a homeowner is very life-changing. I’ve been in an apartment with my three-year-old and my mom crammed up. I am basically paying close to the price that I was paying for an apartment for a four-bedroom house versus a two-bedroom apartment. I heard about LGI through a Realtor, and when I went to the office, Chris helped me out a lot. He was very supportive, sending me update videos of my house every week. I was able to get my closing costs covered, and the warranties helped me out, too. Interest rates are lower and the houses are cheaper or the same price as buying an older home.
I’m having some issues with the house. LGI didn’t install my Wi-Fi fiber line, and now I just have a wire sticking out that needs to be buried. I’m not able to install ceiling fans, the hot water heater doesn’t really get that hot, and you can feel like nails sticking up in the carpet. There were inconveniences and small minor details that were missed when building the house. Still, I do like the community. It seems quiet, nice, and I like my neighbors. Everybody’s real sweet, real clean. I don’t hear construction or anything like that. I’m able to be close to my job and still close to downtown Dallas in a desirable area.

We had an amazing experience with LGI Homes. We wanted a new build, and my co-worker lives in DR Horton. While we were house-hunting I went to his house and I didn't even know that LGI was out there. I was surprised. I connected with Daniel right away, and he was awesome.
We talked to KB and First American Home, as well as other home builders. Their sales representative didn’t compare, Daniel was much more informative. As first-time home buyers, my wife and I needed guidance, and Daniel explained everything clearly. Other reps seemed to assume we didn’t know much because we were young, but Daniel really helped us and made everything easy to understand.
The quality of the build is awesome. Daniel introduced me to the builder. He was awesome, a veteran and amazing. He really explained everything well to me during the walkthrough, and I trusted him with my house.
Thank you so much for sharing your wonderful experience with LGI Homes! We are thrilled to hear that Daniel made the home-buying process clear and reassuring for you, especially as first-time homebuyers. It's essential to us that our customers feel valued and confident in their decisions. We're glad to know that the quality of the build and the community environment have met your expectations. Enjoy your new LGI home for many years to come!

I received a flyer in the mail about a year ago. I read some reviews about LGI and we liked the reviews. We came by to try the process, but we weren't ready yet.
When we decided to move forward, we chose a new build because I know we’re not old, but we’re older than we would’ve liked to be when buying a house. We wanted something that would last a long time and possibly pass on to our kids. We also like the idea of being in a new neighborhood and watching it grow.
Our home consultant was nice, very positive and friendly when we met him. We enjoyed the initial interaction with him. Not once we started the home process, I feel like he overpromised on some things he didn’t fully understand himself.
Our idea was to do the VA loan because my husband is a veteran so there would be no down payment, just closing costs. We knew our credit had some challenges and needed work, but he gave us full expectations. He said if it fell through, we’d move to another tier, which ended up being an FHA loan with a deposit. We weren’t fully informed about the criteria, so when it changed, we were blindsided and had to come up with $13,000 unexpectedly. But we made it work.
Then sometimes through the process with the loan officer, she needs something. She was very good about giving us information. But the consultant, I understand he’s young, still learning and new to his role. He would call and make it sound urgent. It would stress out my husband. He’s the type who reacts right away, if someone tells him to do something, he wants to handle it immediately. I’m more the type who wants to pause and figure things out before jumping into action.
At times, I feel like he didn’t give us the right information, which caused unnecessary panic. We had to backtrack with the loan officer and realize it wasn’t as serious as we thought. That was a little bit of frustration, but other than that, he was very friendly. He listened to what we wanted in a home and showed us a few different places.
We needed to pay off some things before starting the approval, he helped us give some good credit information to get more prepared. When we did the actual process, a month after we met him, we were financially to get approved.
The workmanship is great. My dad actually came in and walked through the house with us. We were able to get the keys when we started the process and inspected. He said that it was quality construction. One of my family members has been in construction for over 20 years and has a little inside knowledge, which made it helpful. They said the craftsmanship was good and felt like we had a good foundation to start off and that would last us a long time.
One of the fears of getting new construction is you're gonna get something that looks good on the outside and then come in shortly and start having all these problems. But I feel confident we won't have those issues. They seem to feel confident in the build that we got.
We picked this place because we wanted to be away from everything after work. When you're working, driving in traffic, you want it like you’re away from home, like in the country, sort of. It's very quiet and neat. You see kids and people outside on the weekend, and we like that the atmosphere is very laid-back and quiet, which I'm looking forward to.
Thank you for sharing your wonderful experience. We're thrilled to hear that your journey with LGI Homes has been positive, and congratulations on finding your perfect home! While we apologize for any initial struggles in understanding financing options, it's great to know your consultant proved valuable and supportive in the overall process. We appreciate your trust in us and your generous referrals. Wishing you lasting happiness in your new home and neighborhood.

The LGI customer service really was fantastic. I also liked the price because the home that I chose was $150,000 cheaper than where I was residing in Las Vegas. The closing with the home consultant was easy. They explained everything in detail and the whole experience was awesome. The process only took three weeks.
I like everything about the home from the layout, the material that they use, and the width of the garage. I've never experienced this kind of tranquility in my whole life. I've been telling my family since I moved in that the company works with you. The orientation was only an hour and I learned how to use a smart home, like how to change the filter on the refrigerator. It was a good learning experience for a female.
Thank you for sharing your delightful experience with LGI Homes. It’s wonderful to hear that their new build in your desired location was both affordable and exactly what you were looking for. We're glad that the home consultant provided a smooth transition, guiding you effectively through each step. It is rewarding to know the orientation was both enlightening and valuable for future considerations, like upgrades. Thank you for the strong recommendation. We were relocating from Colorado to South Carolina. I saw a home on Zillow and did a little digging on there and then went to the LGI website. I liked the look of the development plan. I called and set an appointment. I then went down and walked through a few houses. Taylor was the Realtor on site who walked me around.
I didn’t want to own a house that anybody else had lived in. This is my second home and I didn’t wanna clean up anybody else's junk. The build was superior, especially with the upgrades. We're the fourth house to close in 326. I like the fact that there is no clubhouse and pool. In the neighborhood I lived in in Colorado for 27 years, I never stepped foot in the clubhouse, been in the pool, or on their tennis courts. I'm a firm believer that if you're going to offer amenities like that, you need to do it by membership. If I don't use it, I don't wanna pay for it.
I'm 60 years old. The pickleball courts that are gonna be in this development and the cornhole stuff, I can do that stuff. But I'm not playing tennis and going to the pool. If I want to use the clubhouse for anything specific, I've got to rent it. I'm paying $1500 a year in homeowners’ dues up here and that didn't sit right with me the whole time I was here. All in all, I have recommended LGI. I told others, "If you're moving and you see LGI or Terrata Homes, look there because you're gonna get more bang for your buck, and the people are amazing.“

The home-buying experience with LGI was very easy. Tyler was super helpful. And you advertise exactly what it is. A lot of times, they’ll advertise a house at 306, and by the time everything is finalized, it ends up being 330. But with you, the price is exactly what’s listed on the website.
The quality seemed decent. There are a few areas where the design could have been better, but we can’t complain. Since moving in, we’ve only had to reach out for a couple of small things like drywall repairs, and a couple of spots on the wall. And that’s about it.
Thank you for sharing your experience with us! We're pleased to hear that the purchasing process of your LGI Home was smooth and you appreciated the accuracy of our pricing. Our Realtor, Josh, recommended LGI Homes to us. We were looking on the opposite side of town and weren't really aware of the homes being built over here, and he really wanted to show it to us. The home consultant was helpful and knew what he was talking about. They made us feel comfortable, didn’t push, and just showed us all the nice things about the house. It's a very quality building. The fencing, the plants in the yard and cement out front's real nice. I was really nervous about buying a new home. I really didn't trust people selling homes and the whole business, but these guys felt like friends. We've already been sharing information to family and friends that need to buy a house. We want family to move in next to us. It was a great experience and really nice houses, and looks like a good neighborhood, too.

I have my family living in the LGI community. So, I went with them. They've been living here for at least five years. I just moved from Florida. I got a new promotion in my work, and moved over here. I'm happy that I'm close to them. We can actually do stuff together, and the kids can play.
I came over here and I saw the houses. I like it, and I went to talk to Sally in the office. She was awesome. But then she moved. I think she quit or resigned. And now, I am working with Jonathan. Brad, the builder, was absolutely awesome.
The process was awesome as well. I'm super happy with the service and the attention that I received. I came in February, but my credit wasn't really good. I ended working with Atlantic Bay Company, to do the numbers. It was from March 6th, and I signed the papers on May the 30th.
My home is perfect. Well, I just moved two days ago over here. And the air conditioner wasn't working. It was 85 degrees, and the whole house was really hot. I called the company, and the guy came over here. He's actually working on the AC right now.
I'm super happy with the model. I bought the Ashley model and I like it. It's good for me and for my kids. I was living for 18 years in Florida without my family. So, I don't have any network in that area. My only thing is the grocery stores are far, but I can work with that.
I have been here for 2 days. Basically, I don't know anybody here. So, I texted Jonathan to ask how I can actually request a copy or how I can access the clubhouse. The kids were asking me about the pool. We wanna go to the pool, and we don't have the swap key to get there.
But other than that, everything is good and happy with the area.
I do see some jobs that need to be redone in the house, like paint or terminations on the constructions like in the bathroom. But it looks good. I didn't notice that when I did the walkthrough with Brad, but it's minimal and I like it. Everything is fine.
I know it's something more cosmetic than actually something like it needs to be done as soon as possible. But I'm gonna say that I would recommend it. They’re very professional, and knowledgeable. Everybody's cool.
Thank you for taking the time to share your positive experience with LGI Homes. We are thrilled to learn that every stage of your home-buying journey exceeded your expectations. It’s wonderful to know that you've found the perfect home for your family and that the move-in process was effortless. We apologize for the inconvenience caused by the air conditioner issue upon moving in; however, we're pleased that it was promptly resolved. Congratulations and continue to enjoy your new home and community life!

I went with LGI because of the builder incentives and the home that was available. Jared was originally the home consultant and he was okay. He was informative and he gave us the information that we needed. My realtor did the bulk of the work, but Jared was there to answer some questions. Then he dropped off.
Keith, the construction manager, has been exceptional from beginning to end. He has been able to walk us through and be our person on boots on the ground as far as getting things addressed. He has been pleasant to interact with. As far as the LGI Mortgage Solutions, my loan officer Billy was nothing short of amazing. She was able to help me get through the mortgage process, and it was short of painless.
The quality of the build is good. They have been Johnny-on-the-spot to fix anything that I have stated was an issue. Even there on the patio when we first came and did the walkthrough and inspection, the pillars were cracked, and they were able to replace those with no issue. I have good experience so far.
Thank you for sharing your experience with us. We're delighted to hear about your positive journey with LGI Homes and appreciate your thorough feedback. This was my first home. The customer service with LGI was awesome. She was attentive to my needs and questions and was there to help me out. The process was straightforward and took shorter than I expected. From the time we looked at the house to closing, it took a couple weeks to a month. There were some issues with the construction, so we had to make some adjustments. I had trouble finding the HOA guidelines on the website, but I didn’t know if that was something they had on there. It’s worked out well for me so far. The only thing I’m not really psyched about is the exit at Bond Ranch. There’s a lot of traffic coming in and out, depending upon the time of the day with the train that goes through there.

LGI Homes initially offered me a good price for a good house in a good location. However, when I received the house, I noticed several construction flaws and some problems. When I asked for a repair, they made me wait for half a day for somebody to go there and check if the repair can be done or not. They made mistakes, and it feels like they are transferring the burden of their mistakes to me. If I lose half a day just to wait for somebody to repair something, they made a mistake, who is going to pay me?
The problem is still open. Right now I have seven problems to be reported and fixed, but I didn't report them because I don't want to go to this kind of treatment. If I have to spend three days and a half just to wait for them, it becomes equivalent to almost my monthly payment.
Thank you for sharing your experience with us. We're truly sorry to learn about the challenges you've faced with the construction and repair process in your new home. Your satisfaction is extremely important to us, and we understand the frustration that these ongoing issues and the significant time commitment they incur might cause. LGI Homes had the home that I wanted, and the home consultant was great. My experience has been pretty good, but the quality of the build is almost great, it’s good. We’ve noticed a little bit of workmanship that isn’t the greatest, like indentations of the drywall tape and the granite they choose for the kitchen.
That kind of sucks for having a new build home. We had addressed some things, but no one’s ever followed up. We requested that the granite be looked at before we even bought it, and they said, “Oh, we’ll get to it,” but it still never happened. Dealing with the lenders was a tedious process, but everybody was understanding and willing to answer questions that we had and to help us find the answers. From start to finish, the process took as long as me and my wife asked for it to take. After buying the house, the website came across my feed and I did view it. It is easy to navigate.

The initial sit-down with LGI to go over information was pretty good. Chris definitely tried to help us find what fits and is close to what we're looking for. It was really helpful.
But in terms of any walkthrough, we weren't really made aware of the three phases of the building process. This is our second time buying a house. Our other house was back in Colorado. And the builders would just ask us what day would work for the walkthroughs.
But this one, we felt it was more like you had to know when you do your phase one versus being notified. We didn't really do a blue-taping walkthrough. The head builder just had his own blue tape. He was making his own annotations, not us making our annotations. So, that was just something that we felt was a little bit different.
There's some warranty stuff that we could just put in, but there are things that could have been fixed before the warranty needed to be done. We questioned it and we were told in a nutshell that we're the customers so we don't really know better versus the builder.
It’s understandable. But things happen and things can be done incorrectly. And that's why we have professionals for a reason–to come in and help address things that we might not know that are up to code.
So far everything is fine. We haven't officially finished moving. Everything was like a slow drawn-out process. But we are in the house. We haven't gotten to work in yet in terms of testing out everything including the appliances. But there are things that we didn't see at the initial orientation walkthrough that we now found as we were starting to slowly unpack and put stuff away. But other than that, it's been pretty smooth.
Thank you for sharing your experience. We're delighted that Chris was able to assist in finding options that met your needs and that the initial consultation was informative. However, we're sorry for any confusion regarding the building phase walkthroughs and the final walkthrough process compared to your prior experiences.
Welcome to your new home, and we hope it brings you happiness as you settle in.

Our application process with LGI was smooth. We went to speak with Kevin. My husband and I weren’t anticipating purchasing a home then. We were just seeing what was available if we qualified. But Kevin was amazing. I was in there for an hour. I have the money, and my credit score is great. Kevin got us approved that same day, and we selected our house. He was very informative every step of the way. He called every week with pictures and updates about where we were in the process.
Everything was great, all the way up until after we purchased the home. During the walkthrough, there were a few things that needed to be corrected. The person that did the walk-through with us just made it seem like we had nothing to worry about, and that they would have everything done for us while we were signing our paperwork.
We've been in our house for a month, and those things have not been completed. The thing that looks like a tar on the window of the master bedroom bathroom was still there. I am not sure if it's glue from sealing the window. If I could just get to it, wipe it down, and clean it up, I would. But it's by the roof and I can't get to it. This is not something I did, and it's not our responsibility. They should have cleaned it and fixed it. I shouldn't have to pay someone to come out to get on a ladder to clean something that they were supposed to do a month ago.
It's a brand new house, but they placed the water heater that was all dented up. The water is working, and everything is heating. But what happens if it stops working? Do these dents take away my warranty? It was a whole back and forth with them. Again, my husband had to stay on top of things and go to them. We actually left the garage door unlocked for the water heater to be changed, and it wasn't. Whoever was supposed to change it said that they did change it, but they never came to the house to change it.
About a week ago, the guy did come out and made sure that the water heater was changed. But again, we were there for a month. These are things that they said they were going to do a long time ago. In the beginning LGI reached out to me or called me even down to the loan consultant. If there was something that they needed, they emailed me or called me. And now, it's like an I-gotta-catch-you-when-you-open type of situation. It's horrible.
Then there was a shrub in the front that needed to be replaced. Even when we did the walk-through, the guy tagged the plant, but it was never changed. I've literally watched 12 to 15 houses be built beside me. I've watched landscaping be completed. I've watched the plant sit in front of the empty lots to be placed. And it's like, I guess they forgot they were supposed to replace mine.
I work 45 minutes away from where I purchased my home. I work three jobs, so I'm not really available to go down to the office to fuss. And every time I think that I'm about to go down there to fuss, I end up working. Also, everything's closed on the weekends. So, my husband had reached out. The interaction was easy like in the beginning when we were doing our final walk-through to sign paperwork. They said that they were going to have to call a contractor out.
The process of purchasing the home was absolutely remarkable. However, the follow-through afterwards is horrible. It's now like pulling teeth. They should work on their follow-up. Like if there are things that need to be completed and done, they should do that. They should keep their word, because all I have is their word. I'm keeping my end of the bargain. I'm showing up to my appointments. I'm available. I answer the phone. Whatever documents are needed, I'm sending them in. I'm doing my part. I wish that they would do theirs. We signed a contract. I feel like I shouldn't have to be searching and looking for the LGI people, or begging and pleading for them to do what I have on my paper that says that needs to be done. If I don't say anything, they will not do anything.
But still, LGI Homes is one of the best companies. I've been trying to purchase a house for over a year. One of the companies I was with just wasn't available. They weren't taking notes when we spoke, so they kept forgetting things and kept asking me for the same things. It was so irritating. Then I came across LGI and it was easy peasy all the way through. I would recommend LGI to anyone. They did everything perfectly in the beginning. But they need improvement on the follow through.
I've actually referred a few people to LGI. I would definitely tell people who are in the steps of buying a house to not sign the paperwork until they have completed what they say they will complete. Otherwise, it will be a headache at this point.
Thank you for sharing your experience with us. We are delighted to hear that the purchasing process was smooth and positive for you and your husband. We, however, regret the inconvenience you faced post-purchase with the unfinished tasks and diminished follow-up. We sincerely apologize for any frustration caused and appreciate your patience as these issues were resolved.
Thank you for your thoughtful recommendation of LGI Homes.

LGI fit our budget and our needs. Hunter was helpful. He was aggressive as far as trying to make a sale, which I appreciated, and honest with what LGI offered, and easy to work with. I started painting the house and noticed a few little things that need touching up like caulking around trims, sanding down the walls a bit better with the Sheetrock, the trims on the floor are crooked, and the face plates on the plugs are loose. But they’re minor things that don’t really bother me, and it’s a good quality home. I like the neighborhood layout, it’s a spread out, so you’re not in everybody’s business.
Thank you for sharing your wonderful experience with us! We are delighted to hear that LGI Homes was a perfect match for your needs and budget. It's great to know that Hunter's approach was refreshing and made the purchasing process feel straightforward and pressure-free. We are thrilled you appreciate the layout and privacy of the beautiful community you chose. We're confident you and your new community will feel like home for a long time to come.

Our application at LGI Homes took about two and a half months. From the beginning when we came to see the house, we were told that the house was move-in ready, to come on Monday, and then give the earnest money. On the day when we came to give the earnest money, we were told that the house was not available, and that there had been a miscommunication from everybody here at LGI. That was very upsetting to me because they're selling houses, not lemons. We were given the impression that we were going to be writing a contract for a house that was ready to move in, and it wasn't. Then they said they were building this one, which we said we would go ahead and put our names on it, and do a contract on it.
The lender was good. She was available whenever we needed her. However, we had a few issues during the building of the house. Somebody had urinated in the shower pan, and it was left there for so long. I told the people at the office and nobody would do anything about it. I am upset because there was a crack in one of the cabinets they were installing. I let the office manager and the construction manager know, and they just patched the crack up. Now, the crack shows on the cabinet. We bought a $450,000 brand-new house, and they didn't even replace that cabinet.
I love the layout of my house. I do like that they gave incentives which helped us choose a house from LGI versus maybe a used home. But, when it came to certain things of the contract from the beginning, it was a bad taste in my mouth.
We appreciate you taking the time to share your experience with us. We apologize for the communication issues and distress you've encountered with unresolved matters during your journey with LGI Homes. It's troubling to hear about the mishandled aspects of construction and how these shortcomings affected your otherwise positive feeling about your home's design and incentives. We fully recognize the importance of these factors when purchasing a home and deeply regret not meeting your expectations.

I’ve known about LGI for years. We actually considered buying a house back in 2021, but I changed my mind at the time. Now, we’re back in the same area we looked at before.
The application process was good and smooth. You needed some information, and I made sure to provide it. When I actually sat down with the agent, the process took about 10 minutes.
Our sales consultant was awesome. I’d say she’s truly the face of LGI Homes. A few weeks later, I found out during a company meeting that she was the number one selling agent in the area and even in Georgia. From what I understand, she’s only been with the company for about two years, she doesn’t have as much experience as others who’ve been there five years or more.
I specifically chose that location because of my kids' school, it’s right across the street, which was very important to us. We were renting a three-bedroom home before, and one of my kids didn’t even have their own room, so we needed more space. That was the other big reason for the move.
Everything has been great. I really haven’t experienced any negatives. The only issue would be with a few neighbors, but that’s not something I can fault LGI for, it’s not your responsibility.
Hi, thank you so much for sharing your experience. We are thrilled to hear that your process with LGI Homes went smoothly and that our team, especially your sales consultant, was able to make a positive impression on you. We have to buy the dryer and the washing machine because the home came without them. So this is the one thing that I just asked them at the beginning. And the refrigerator is not of good quality compared with the rest of the house. I think with a little money, you can get a beautiful kitchen. Not this one. Because this one's pretty old compared with the house quality. It's simple, but they can improve.
Thank you for sharing your experience with LGI Homes! We're pleased to hear that overall, you were satisfied with the service and quality, and that any issues you communicated were promptly addressed. We hope you enjoy your beautiful new home for years to come!

LGI’s sales consultant was great. The lender was great. But the after-sales and getting things taken care of have been a nightmare. And LGI has been awful.
When we did our walkthrough, they told us that if we want to do a warranty claim, we just need to do one claim and put all our issues in. And so, we did that. And then they came out, fixed one issue, and addressed nothing else we did. We went back and forth without any response. We’ve asked how deep our well is, and we didn't get an answer. Because we have a bunch of sediment coming through. We get no water pressure in our shower. But our sinks work fine. And they told us it’s just sand buildup. And they’re unwilling to do anything else. So, it’s just been bad service after the fact.
They should follow up with their people who spend hundreds of thousands of dollars on their houses that are supposed to be brand-new, but are built shittily. The trim is not touching the ground throughout a lot of the house. There’s just exposed concrete in my garage. My garage line doesn’t match the line on my driveway. There’s a nail sticking out at the end of my driveway. You can still see the 2x4 or the plywood that separates my driveway from my garage. It’s lower-end. And it’s cheap and thrown together. The appliances are also terrible.
We’re truly sorry to hear about your challenging experience with LGI Homes following your purchase. It’s disappointing to learn that our after-sales service did not meet your expectations, and that key issues involving plumbing and finishing went unattended. Communication should be a transparent and responsive process, especially when it involves matters affecting your home’s convenience and quality of living. We want to ensure these matters are resolved to your satisfaction.
Would you kindly re-submit your unresolved issues through your warranty portal? This guarantees your concerns receive the necessary prompt attention.
We desire nothing more than to rebuild your trust in us and ensure the practical efficiency and enjoyment of your new home reflect the promising start you had with us during the purchasing process. Thank you for giving us the opportunity to correct these circumstances.

The home consultant from LGI Homes was really thorough and very good. The community where the house is located is great. It is very quiet and clean. However, it would have been better if there was already a washer, a dryer, and blinds in the unit. Also, the inspection should be done more than one day, because having to do everything in one day is not enough. And based on my experience, there were a lot of things that I saw a week after that needed to get done in the house that I didn't see in one day. The construction guy could see that, but not me, because my eyes are not trained.

It's our first home. My wife and I are in our twenties, both fairly young for homeowners, and we just wanted to make sure that everything was under warranty. So, we wouldn't have to worry about having to make any big repairs since we're still getting our financial footing.
As far as the build quality, I don't have any complaints. It's nothing luxurious or fancy. We lived in a double-wide manufactured home before this. So compared to the quality of that, this is great. We haven't had any issues.

We decided on a new build as it fit the bill and it was the most economical for the most square footage. I am out in BFE and I got something I can afford. We sold our condo and put 150 from that on this house. And then we pulled 150 out of our investments so we had a $300,000 down. Our mortgage is $174,000. We needed to get it done because I would not have qualified by myself because we’re both on Social Security.
The people lending would have thought it was difficult and I would have pulled another $100,000 out of investments and paid that. But I preferred not to because we don’t know how old we’re gonna live and what kind of problems we might have.
The consultant worked with my realtor. They offered $1,000 down to hold the house up to three months and that was a good deal for me. They were willing to put it under contract and a lot of places aren’t. So that was a wonderful plus that they could do that.
They’ve also been very accommodating. My husband had to have heart surgery on the day of our signing. They came down to the hospital and we signed everything there. We got it done before he went into surgery. They bent over backwards for us and everything went wonderful.
Then I had my daughter and my son-in-law do the walkthrough. They found some things which were immediately addressed. After I moved in, I found a thing or two but nothing big. I put in a work order in the system, which I love. The very nexy day, I heard from Ethan, the maintenance guy, and he was on it. All in all, I love LGI. They’re doing a wonderful job.

I had just PCS to San Antonio, and I was looking at houses. And I was on Zillow, and I saw the house listing. And Lytle was a small town like where I grew up at. It gave me that feeling. So, that’s why I went with LGI.
And the people from LGI were phenomenal. Laura was great. And then Matthew, who was my mortgage person, was phenomenal. Everyone in that shop at Rosewood was very friendly, and even the head builder, West. They were all great people to work with.
And the quality of the home is great. I already had a small water leak, which was taken care of within 48 hours. I put in a help ticket on the Homes website, and then I called the plumber on the sheet that they had given me. The plumber came out that day. And then West, the builder, set up an appointment for the sheetrock guy and then the painter to come back and take care of the rest. So, they take care of me, and I really appreciate that.
The community is also nice and quiet. I’ve only met my neighbor across from me, given my work hours. But it’s a small community, and I don’t foresee anything drastic changing off of that. It’s got a nice little homey feeling.

From what I heard from other customers, LGI has a much easier process than other home builders. My home-buying experience was a little tedious though because of all the documents you have to gather. Sometimes you don’t have them on hand. If I had known ahead of time that you need documents dealing with your financial institutions from past years, my experience could have been improved. I knew a little bit of that, but not the other things like check stubs from previous years. The total buying process took about three to four weeks.
Mr. Mike made the whole process easier than it would have been. He made everything streamlined, told us what to expect, and found solutions for us when we ran into roadblocks. Things would have been a little more difficult without him.
There were some issues like plumbing, but that’s understandable, especially since the house had been set for a while. It’s good that they have a warranty program. The plumbers were very prompt and quick to fix any issues that arose. After getting around those issues, everything has been fine.
Overall, the quality of the build is positive, and I’ve been much more comfortable than I have been in a long time. I like the park for the children, especially the splash pad. There are also walking trails, and the area around it is very secluded.

I liked the sales guy we spoke to at LGI. His name is Quentin and he was really good. One of the things we were told was that if we financed through their company, we would get a certain interest rate and then a refinance opportunity in the future since the interest rates are kind of high right now.
But they didn’t follow through on that. They said that if we went with their financing, they offer all types of warranty and that we would get refinancing at a 0% charge and a lower interest rate. After looking at over 40 different houses, new and old, and being done with the whole house searching process, we came back to this home because it was offering that no refi charge deal. But when it came down to it, their loan company really threw me off. They did not approve our financing because I work out of California.
They wanted me to clear my schedule and guarantee that I’m only going to be flying out to California twice a month, which I really don’t think is any of their business because if I’m working and paying my bills, then what’s the problem with me getting financed through them? I kind of think it’s just a way to get out of giving us the opportunity of the lower interest rate and having that no-interest or no-fee refinancing.
I ended up going through a different loan company and was able to get financed with no problem.
The build of the home is okay. For the most part, the house is pretty nice. But for the amount that we’re paying, like the house price is 390,000 and we came in with 100,000 down, we would have gotten more for our money here in Oklahoma. Some cheaper quality work was done as well. The carpet had minimal padding, and you can’t open some of the windows.
Would I recommend this house to a friend? Probably not.
Thank you for sharing your detailed experience with us. We truly appreciate your positive remarks. We apologize for any confusion regarding the financing scenario you encountered. Congratulations on your new home!

I have lived in Hutchins for 12 years and I remember where LGI Homes built at with the woods and forests. I watched them tear everything down and I watched them come from ground up to where they are now. And I saw the vision, it was plain, and I liked it and wanted to live there. It was my first time to buy a home, and the people I dealt with made it peaceful, professional and friendly.
The quality of the home is A1, and the purchase process is top-notch. They can’t do anything but get better and better. They walked me through the whole process, and they were good communicators. My loan officer was great. From start to finish it took four months in total, and I trusted the process. It was an experience, and I enjoyed it.
Congratulations on purchasing your new home and welcome to the community! We're thrilled to hear that your transition from renter to homeowner went smoothly with the help of our team. A pre-owned house in a slightly more convenient area was almost the same price as a much nicer house by LGI in this neighborhood. The prices was very similar between new homes and much older homes.
Dealing with the home consultant was simple and pleasant. The build feels pretty delicate. I think that's standard with construction.

We just decided to go with the LGI because we want to get more open areas. We lived in a big city area, in a six-bedroom, two-story home. Now, we have downsized to a three-bedroom. It's a lot more comfortable for us. The build is of good quality. I like it a lot.
We've bought and sold many houses. It's nothing new to me because I'm a prior military, so I've been in and out of houses a lot. The home consultant and loan person at LGI were good, fast, and professional. We talked for only a couple of hours.
There's more stuff in town. But I want to be more remote or out in the open because it's more homey to me. I come from Colorado, which is originally a town of 300 people.

It was my first time buying a home, and the experience was real good. I also love the community, and I’m satisfied with the amenities.
The only problem I had was the blinds. They only gave me one. And I know we had to pay for our blinds. So, because I only have one, I guess people can see through our house, on the back door or on the side, because I didn’t have all our blinds. So, that was the only difference right now.

I was a looking for a house in Snellville and couldn’t find one. My friends happened to go to LGI in Conners Landing and bought a house. We had a housewarming party for them, and that motivated me and my wife to go to LGI and check them out. The houses are very beautiful, and everyone seems so nice around the neighborhood.
We tried to buy a house before, and honestly, everything was such a hassle going through the bidding, appraisal, and inspection. Working with the agent was very difficult. It was so stressful. In the end, it didn’t work out. With LGI, it went smooth. The LGI people were very helpful and courteous. We actually enjoyed the process with them. We think we made the right choice.
At first, we weren’t so sure about living in the neighborhood because we lived so far away. Once we saw the community, we were convinced. The next day, I showed up with all my documents ready. In around three weeks, I did the closing. It happened so fast. The house we got is pretty well made, and so far, we’re happy with it. I like that I got the first street or the back street of the neighborhood. It’s still under construction right now, but they have parks around the area, including a kids’ park.

The home-buying process was smooth and wasn't difficult at all. It took less than a week and they were so helpful. There was a different agent for the house. I like the agent for the loan process because she updates me every time there is progress about the loan application. LGI Homes even asked her the best possible type of loan I could get. Up to the time that the loan was approved, she helped me. The house that I have right now is neither cheap nor expensive. It's the right price for the house. What they could have improved is the paint on the inside walls. I don’t like it. When the inside walls get dirty, and I try to clean them with a wet cloth, the paint peels off.

My fiancé and I had been on the lookout from market’s perspective for the last three years. I had primarily kept my eye on the development of the community out in White Bluff for at least the last year or so. So primarily, I enjoyed the floor model that they provided, the open concepts that their buildings had, the modern look, and how everything was new. These were exactly what were on our docket.
LGI Homes checked all the boxes. It had large kitchen counter space, which is one important thing for me. There is also a lot of natural lighting. My fiancé and I were off of work, just the day after a very massive storm was flooding, because another concern of ours was making sure that it was going to weather storms, and we decided that since we had seen the biggest flooding situation in the last three years, we might go check it out and see how the houses fared, and they were left untouched. There wasn’t even a petal on the ground.
So, all of these things culminated together, and the day that we went we sat down with Ben who was our salesperson for LGI. He was phenomenal. He told us about all of the amazing opportunities that we had if we leverage their financing company. They had built-in closing costs. These were part of their package plan for these new builds.
And the more and more that he told us, the more and more we were like, “We’re not going to get that anywhere else.” They were able to bring down our percentage by almost an entire point comparative to other mortgage lenders who had provided us quotes. So, it truly seemed like a no-brainer at that point.
However, there were a couple of hiccups in customer service, so there was a couple of pieces where we had to follow up with them. But in each instance, they were almost immediate in their action. For example, there is a downstairs bathroom with a sink. And I don’t think that I would ever tilt my head to look under a sink. It’s one of those that’s just on a stand, not like a cabinet. And we had to take shelter because of the storms this most recent week, so we were in that interior bathroom downstairs and sitting on the floor, covered up, pillows and blankets, quite all very dramatic.
And during that time, I noticed that the base of the sink and the top of the ceramic piece that it sits on were not aligned. And at first, I thought, “Okay.” Well, there’s just this tiny gap. Maybe that’s how it’s supposed to be.” Fast forward to the benefits of having a friend who bought the exact same home model with the exact same thing, I went and looked at theirs and it didn’t have that gap. We already referred our best friend who bought a house further down.
So, there are tiny things and nothing major, and they are quick to action as soon as we provide feedback. All of the appliances are working as they are supposed to be, and the house functions. You don’t have huge cracks in the foundation. Also, we were very pleased with the financing aspect.

My experience with LGI Homes went down the drain. The consultants were okay, but they need to be more responsive to inquiries. It confused and frustrated me to get an answer.
The expectation was really higher when I first signed the contract, but when it went to the in-house financing, I got dropped because I had an issue with the IRS. They were the ones who referred me to another lender, and when they realized that they could do what the other lender was doing, they tried to get me back on their side.
I tried to communicate with LGI but I did not get any response, so I just stuck with the other lender. After moving forward with that, in 30 days, we closed because there was communication with three people working on the file. With LGI, it took 90 days with two people, and nothing happened.
The home is nice, but it depends on what one needs. It’s two years old when I purchased it and so it settles a little bit, but it’s livable. I’m seeing issues cosmetic-wise, which cannot be prevented. They got a little stingy on luxury, like the very small landing pad on the patio and the normal appliances.
The price for the home is good compared to the market. It’s right there in the range and the community is nice. The HOA is a hit and miss, though. There is lack of communication and the response time is an issue.
I know LGI tried to make a sale so they were in a hurry to close the deal. I just hope they do better and focus on their customers. The people in the office are nice and warm, but they need to keep that warmness to the end. Buying a house is stressful, especially for a first-time home buyer like me who do not understand the language.
Thank you for sharing your experience with us. We're glad to hear that the home and community are pleasant overall, but we are saddened that our customer service and finance process didn’t meet your expectations.
Thank you again for choosing LGI Homes, and we wish you joy in your beautiful new home.

I looked on the internet and checked on LGI. Some of the companies have higher interest, and the homes were old, but LGI offered me a good brand-new home. I'm a veteran, and it’s my VA loan. They showed me every single thing about the house, with the setup and the plan. The salesman was very cooperative, instructive, nice, and friendly. In fact, we became friends. I liked the treatment at the office. All personnel were nice and neat, clean, and professional.
I think the quality is optimum because, according to my salesman and the builder, I don't need solar panels since it's built to resist heat. The windows, light bulbs, and walls are designed not to allow that much heat inside. Also, the warranty of the roof for 30 years, the air conditioning, and all kinds of things are amazing.
This is my third home in Florida, and I think this is my best experience with a home that I bought, with better quality. All the builders and salespeople before wouldn't say anything. They just make sure they make the sale, but this company makes sure I am satisfied. I knew what I was getting for my money. As for the price, it's a little bit high, but it's still comfortable. I can afford it. I’ve already recommended LGI Homes.
Thank you so much for sharing your wonderful experience! We're thrilled to hear that our homes exceeded your expectations, especially in terms of quality and comfort. LGI Homes was more affordable and within my price range. I was spending a lot on rent, and it was getting ridiculous. I received an LGI flyer in the mail with prices listed, and I thought, “Hey, that’s what I’m paying in rent, so let me see if I can buy that.” So, I went to look.
I came in for an appointment and was paired with Terry. She was great. She explained and was transparent about everything. Since this was my first time buying a home, she went in-depth so I could understand and walked us through the entire process. It was pretty smooth and easy.
It’s crazy because I started looking for a house at the end of December and moved in on February 28th. I only looked at the house in January, so the whole process took about two months at most. It was quick and easy, which was awesome. I like the floors, and the countertops and carpet are nice. So far, I don’t really have any complaints.
This was perfect for me because I’m still pretty young and didn’t know anything about the home‑buying process. Having someone explain everything and set it all up, especially with the loan and other details, made it really simple. LGI did a lot of the work for you and laid everything out clearly. It was such a fast process. For first‑time homebuyers, LGI would be an awesome option.
I was starting out low on the down payment, so the closing costs were a bit expensive. I understand they have to put it down, and I know LGI helps with closing costs, but my mother helped me with that part. That would be my only complaint, and it’s not really a complaint because owning a home is awesome. My mortgage is just under $2,000, which is about $200 more than what I was paying in rent.
Thank you for taking the time to share your wonderful experience with us. We're thrilled to hear that you found an ideal home with LGI Homes, and that the process was smooth and fast. My son had purchased a home through LGI a few months before I did. The process was a whole lot less stressful than I thought it would be. It was a very smooth transaction. Altogether, it took about 30 days, from when I first met with them until I got my home.
The location is awesome. I love it. I am so sick of the city, so this is perfect for me. If it weren't in a brand-new development, I would have been hesitant all these years. But I’d liked the fact that it's in a brand-new neighborhood that they're just creating because I feel safer in it.
I've been here for a few weeks, since February 28th. The property and the features are good. The only complaint I have is the lumpy backyard, which I might have to grade. And the door, I wiped the dirt off, and the paint came off. But overall, it's great.

I liked how everything was together. They had a financial consultant in LGI Homes, and I didn’t have to go anywhere to get anything done. The application process was easy. I looked at the house and filled out an application on Sunday. Then I put the money down on that day. I talked to the mortgage person four days later. I went through all the stuff with them, and moved in like two weeks later.
I like the quality so far. They could have done a lot more with the master bathroom, but that’s just because I like fancy stuff. The kitchen’s wonderful. I was worried about the location to begin with because it’s an older area, and they have some bad areas about seven miles from there. But I like that it’s out in the country. I like that it’s off by itself.
I really thought the person that did my mortgage application was really nice, thorough, and went above and beyond. Corey, the salesperson, was very nice. They all helped. I probably wouldn’t have got the house if Corey hadn’t been there because I didn’t even think I could do it.

I'm from Arkansas, Little Rock, Arkansas and I've lived in nine states. I've rented properties in nine states, but this, from LGI, is my first brand-new home deal and this is very exciting for me.
It was very important to me to find a property that was close to work. So, when I started doing my research, the first thing I did was look for a distance within 30 minutes of work. And so, LGI came up but so did other properties. But I liked what I saw because I've had an injury. I wanted a one-level property that I could walk in and out of and I have a dog. I needed an easy drive into the driveway. A double-car garage was really important to me and a large backyard for my dog. Once I narrowed down the search, LGI has everything that I needed, so I went straight to their website.
My home consultant, Morell, was awesome and absolutely wonderful. He responded to every question that I had. I've never had any problems with him at all. He was excellent. He provided me with the information that I asked for in a timely manner to help me make the best decision for me. When I talked about distance, my drive to work, he heard me, and it's a wonderful feeling not to have to drive so far.
I'm impressed with the quality of the build. I love that I had an opportunity while under contract to go out and visit the home. So, I had a chance to really look and pay attention with quality and detail. I am comfortable with the price. I'm in the house for two weeks and I'm having a good experience and I hope it stays that way.
I've met neighbors in my cul-de-sac. I have joined our Facebook group and I get excited when I go home because I see that two more homes have sold. So, in our cul-de-sac, there's one left. The person who started the Facebook group is next door to me. I've met both neighbors on both sides. I've driven through the property and it looks like everybody is doing their part to take care of their properties in the neighborhood. I've also joined the HOA online group. So far it’s good.
I like the integrity of the organization, my consultant, Morell, my lending officer, Chad, Omar, the gentleman who took me on the closing tour, Lisa, the notary who did my closing paperwork. Everything was awesome. I really had a great experience and I'm excited to be there and to be a part of the community.
I have shared my experience with others and shared the builder's information so that others can come out and take a look. I have recommended it to about five people now. I'm new to Texas, and it's my first home here. It is close to my office and this was a much better transition for me for work purposes. I was driving an hour and a half to work and almost two hours to get home. Now, I'm at work in 20 minutes and home in less than 30. I am able to rest and it is a wonderful feeling.

LGI Homes was referred by our Realtor, Melvin. We did a drive-by, and we liked that area then we spoke to our agent. And we went on from there after speaking with our agent. The incentives was a big plus for us to choose them. They have zero downpayment.
The home consultant was good. She was willing to help out and take another step. LGI worked with us, and they addressed our concerns. It took a little bit of time, but they did. They kept on asking us for forms that we already gave them. They gave us a homework sheet, and we provided everything, but they still kept asking for more. And for me, it wasn't really a stress factor because I've been through it before, but for my wife, it was very stressful. So, I had to take over because she got frustrated and she wasn't understanding the wait process. It took about a month a half, for the process to complete.
When we moved into the house, there were things that should have been done that wasn't done. And our agent made us feel welcome because he gave us a welcome home gift. He went above and beyond. He also helped us out get our washer and dryer.

I chose LGI because I grew up in the area where I bought their house, and after living in the city, I wanted to move back to where I was raised. They did a good job, especially DJ, who was the main person I worked with. He did a great job for me, along with my agents. They really worked with me and made sure I got what I needed. Whatever I needed, he made sure it happened.
They stuck with me and had a lot of patience. DJ was the one who really put everything in motion for me, and he deserves the most credit. I told him I wasn’t good with phones, emails, and that kind of stuff, and he helped me a lot with all of that. I’ve learned a lot since buying my house.
I like the quality of the house. The only difference is the doorbell. That’s all. I figured everyone has Ring cameras now, so that’s probably why. From a security standpoint, I can understand it. It was just something different. I don’t know if it’s because of today’s technology and having other options besides a doorbell.
I’ll be moving in about a week. I’m still living in my current house because I’m still within the contract period. I’ve moved some of my things in already, but I’ll be fully moved in within the next two weeks. Because of that, I don’t know much more about the experience yet. I can’t really say more right now since I’m not living in the house yet.

Newer LGI homes came with a warranty and I didn’t feel comfortable living in the house that somebody else probably lived in and didn’t know what they did to it. So, I figured a house that nobody’s ever lived in would be the best thing for me and my family.
Their price range fell into my budget. They had the square footage and the number of bedrooms and everything else for the budget that my wife and I had. And I got the best deal through them.
Shane was awesome and full of information. There was no question that we asked that didn’t get answered. There were a couple of times that he was busy and forgot a couple of things here and there. But other than that, it was an amazing experience. The whole buying process took about 90 days and that’s only because, they had just broken ground when we first got that property.
They could improve running your credit though. We just got through the whole thing and then two weeks before we were supposed to close, they were saying that they needed copies of pay stubs and all this other stuff. They said the money that showed up on my W-2 wasn’t good enough. They needed to know how I earned that money because I’m a truck driver.
In terms of the quality, there’s been quite a bit of quirks. We’ve had all of our electrical completely reinspected and the regulator in our tub replaced. There was a window that was installed crooked. It’s just one of those things, when a home like that is being built so quickly that mistakes are gonna be made. And maybe people need to either take their inspections a little bit more seriously and micromanage a little bit better.
Overall, the community is nice and quiet and we’re satisfied with all the amenities that they offer. This is my first home so it’s been a very positive experience and a very stressful one. But it’s something that my wife and my children are very excited about.

The quality is wonderful. There were some things that are already not working as well, but I’m gonna put it in the portal and see if they can come and fix it. I also had a lot of problems with the lender that LGI works with. It took me four months to finally sign on my house. I should have been in the house on October 31st but then they kept moving it back. I was supposed to sign January 31st and then it got pushed back again. So, I finally signed the first week of February.

I had a great experience with our sales guy. He was great throughout the whole process. He worked through the pricing side and once we got that squashed, everything was smooth. The newly constructed home was the advantage. With interest rates being where they are, they were able to work with me on that stuff. At this point in time, it came down to a lot of the backend stuff that LGI Homes is offering.
Completion took a month and a half from the time we applied. My wife loves the home. My best friend who lives down the street bought the house right next to us, so it's good timing for LGI and for us. If it had a concern with the paint or something like that on the house, I’d reach out to construction. If it had something to do with outside the house, I'd reach out to our sales guy. He was always very good. We also didn't really have any major problems moving in. The community is quiet. We have a pool, and there are little parks in different areas. There are also schools on both sides of our house. There's also talk of putting in a pickleball court.

I came in talking to LGI Homes, not expecting to get a home. I was in an apartment and was looking to rent a house. One of my buddies told me to go check out LGI’s community. He's like, “Go talk to them. You don't know what's gonna happen.” I spoke to a few representatives. The thing that made buying a new build a lot easier than an old one is the process. It was so much smoother than buying anything that may be a little bit older. It meant everything was turnkey and I didn't have to worry about if there were foundation problems or anything that I may have to fix up. Once I was done with the process, I moved in. I have that peace of mind.
It is astounding how great these houses are built. I've heard a lot of things about new builds lately around San Antonio, and how there are a lot of issues. They start breaking soon after they are bought. Walls are curved. You push on them, and they start to flex. So far, our house has been solid. Speaking to some of my buddies who live in the community, they have been there a few more years than me, and they've had nothing but amazing experiences with their houses. They're holding up really well throughout time.
I really love the community here. If you go up to the front of the community, it's a little bit older, about 14 years old. The people there are experienced and very open to whatever you may need. And as you go back into the community to some of the newer developments, everyone is so friendly. Also, amenities around the neighborhood are wonderful, like the baseball field, soccer field, the parks, and the fishing pond. There's a park right across the street from my house. It is beautiful and absolutely phenomenal.
I'm married, and I have a nine-month-old son. This house puts me on track for the rest of my life. I can now say that my son is gonna be able to grow up in a home that he has been in since he was a baby. That is something that I could never thank LGI Homes enough for. I have been sharing a lot with some of my friends who are still renting to check out any LGI community. I've been telling them to take that chance and try to buy a house with LGI. I told them that the process was smooth. It took me 20 days on the dot from start to finish to buy my home. They are quick. They pull strings to make sure that everything goes according to plan. Overall, LGI Homes has impacted my life.

We are satisfied with the purchase from LGI Homes. The house is a little cheap, but it’s efficient for a starter home, for first-time buyers who they cater to. However, I don't particularly like LGI Homes’ practices which are almost like a used car salesman’s. We went out there to see the house and didn't know anything about LGI and how they do things. We saw they had an office at the location and went to connect with someone so that we could see one of the houses. It felt like a puppy-dog experience, where they take you out, show you the house, and put the “Sold” sign in front of the house.
That's a little deceptive. They have you sign all this paperwork there, and you really need to know what you're signing. Essentially, you're signing to buy this house and putting down money, which says you're committed to buying it. While we did it, we didn't quite understand how serious it was and what we were doing, as far as locking into the purchase. I didn't like that part of it.
I would recommend LGI, but in the same conversation, I would tell people, “Don't let them puppy-dog you. Stand firm, don't sign anything. Go home and sleep on it. Think about it for a couple of days.” I'm not saying we wouldn't have bought the house, but LGI knew we were green and took advantage of that because we were first-time buyers. I said the same thing when I called the salesperson after I had come home and did a little bit of research. I saw that there was a class action lawsuit based on them using cheap materials.

There were a lot of communication that took place, and it took two and half weeks from start to finish. The quality of the home is good, and the area is decent for a small town. I wanted a newer house at the time and LGI was building new neighborhoods right there in El Reno. Pablo is the guy that I got ahold of, and he was very interactive. If I had any questions, he was very quick to respond. They're very open on text and email throughout the whole week, not just during weekdays at certain times, so that’s very convenient. My loan got approved much quicker, so we closed in less than 30 days. These homes are being put up pretty quick, so there's always gonna be some minor issues, but I'm satisfied with what I got. With buying a new house being very stressful, they made it as stress-free as possible.

LGI's Commitment and promises were broken regularly. LGI did not want to re-paint the home as needed before giving us the keys. Landscaping is terrible (the grass was put in an unprofessional way). We never received user guides of appliances as promised (why did LGI threw them away in the first place?). Water heater was dead on arrival (we had to go to the LGI sales office to shower for 3 days). The emergency numbers we got for repairing things at home were not effective (when we called several times at different hours, nobody answered, so LGI, why give an emergency phone numbers if they do not work?). The refrigerator provided is unfit for this size home (about 19 cu.ft., freezer on top, refrigerator on bottom, not side by side as we saw in a less expensive LGI home). Toilet seat not secured. Some electric outlets covers are loose.
No follow up from salesperson, nor from sales manager to see how things are after we moved in (the sales office dropped us like hot potatoes after the closing. It seems that they did not really care much about us, the client). Garage door needed adjustment (should have been done by LGI before closing). Very steep slope on the side of the house (near the AC) which is made worse by the lousy sod installation, which creates danger for anyone walking on that side of the house. Not so happy with the way the floors came out (some areas are hollow and make noise when we walk on them). Cheap LGI put 2 blinds on the front windows when for extra $300, they could also have made the 2 back windows and the sliding doors).
Cheap LGI did a slab in the back (by the rear sliding doors) the size of a door mat (about 30" deep, about 72" wide) rather than building a proper slab for the patio. Shower floor was not installed properly, making noise when stepping on it. Cheap LGI put only 1 ceiling fan (in the living room) instead of in every bedroom as should be in South Florida. Floor molding needed repairs in few places (where is the quality control, LGI?). The best part of our LGI experience was probably the great selection of coffee in the sales office.

I was looking for new builds to buy. This is my third house, so the process was a little easier. I knew what they were gonna be asking for and that they were gonna be coming back four times asking for more stuff. With LGI, I like the promptness and almost pushing me in the direction that I needed to go. It was, "This is what it is. This is what you got. This is what you qualify for." It wasn't a whole lot of like, "Well, we might be able to do this. We might be able to do that." From start to finish, it was only about a month and I was in the house. That's very quick. I've had it take way longer.
Also, the quality of the house is all great and I haven't had any issues. I've been in there for about three months now. But they didn't give me a backyard and that kind of sucks. They did put a front yard in and put in sprinklers. The rest of the house is great. Everybody in the community is working for a living and everybody's working to pay for their houses. That's what I mainly like about it. And they've done some stuff that I think is what the future is gonna be like. I don't have metal duct work running through all my house. I think it's the most efficient way that they can start building them.

The reps at LGI showed us what the floor plans were and gave us all the incentives. The incentives outweighed what it would cost for the government grants, so we went with the incentives that LGI offered through their mortgage lender and the home insurance. It's been a lengthy process, but they were things that were out of their control. The post-sale communication with whoever the construction or project manager was could be improved as well. We had a hard time reaching them sometimes and whenever we needed updates. Other than that, the community seems nice, and the quality of the house is the same as any other builder. There are couple things here and there that were missed throughout the building process and we're trying to get them all cleaned up.

The location was in a nice area where I would prefer to live. My brother was telling me about it and I went, took a try and everything worked out. The rep at LGI told me everything I needed to know, what was coming soon in the area, what to look for, and the passion that they have for the homes and the builders around in the area.
My experience was hectic, but it was worth it. It was hectic because I didn't know the process so it was frustrating to me. If I knew the process, it probably wouldn't have been hectic to me 'cause I knew what to expect. The process took a month. They'd tell me to do something which I would do, then they'd tell me they needed me to do something else. They could have let me know all I needed to do at once. But it was steps that I had to take. I was thinking that being a first-time homebuyer, once you get your documents sent in and they go over it, everything would be golden. But it was another process that I didn't understand. Other than that, I would do it again. It's worth it to have your home, and the home is nice. I like it and I have no gripes with the price. There's a dog park in the area. They'll have a building for a gym soon. There's a pool in the area as well. I wanted them to put a pickleball court in, but that’d probably raise the HOA fees.

For the most part, everything was really good with LGI. We did have a few issues with the person who was showing the home. He was giving financial advice but doesn't really have the expertise to give it. So, it made a few things a little more complicated when we had to borrow money to finish the down payment and stuff like that. They had a lot of stuff that they had to fix. And it just took a long time to get them fixed. So, the other day, we had to call them to come out because the windows were leaking ‘cause it looks like they didn't even put sealant. They didn't even seal the outside of the window. So, water was just coming in.
Somebody cut something on the master countertop in the master bathroom and just cut it up really, really bad. They said they would get it replaced. But then it was like two weeks later. Finally, we're trying to get somebody out there. But they destroyed the wall. There was a couple of holes. They scratched up a whole corner of the wall next to it, trying to get it in. Then they didn't even put the plumbing back in, including the faucets. They took the mirror down and left it just in the middle of the bathroom, in the toilet area. So, we couldn't even use any of the bathroom. They told us, “Well, we'd have to get with the mirror people, which could be a week.”
After we complained, LGI finally got ahold of a manager for the plumbing and got somebody out there the same day. But they’d schedule one day, schedule another day, and so it was like our third try. We said, “You can't do this anymore. You just gotta get it fixed.” Then they had somebody come out and paint before the person came out and fixed the wall. There was a huge X gashed into the sheetrock, so they filled it and sanded it, but then they did that after everything was painted. So, then they had to send somebody back out.
They missed some of the exterior things that they said they would fix, like the front door had paint that was just peeled off and missing around the trim of the window. Then the garage door had some nails that were sticking out, like 1 to 2 inches. The wood wasn't fully sealed on one side like it was on the other. Then when we called the guy and said, “Hey, we need these last few things repainted as well when they come out and paint the part that they fixed,” he accused us of damaging it when we moved in.
Luckily, we had pictures showing what we wanted fixed as we walked through. So, we could have easily shown how it was before the manager sent people out. But he said, “Well, I'm pretty sure y'all damaged it when y'all moved in.” But I have images. When he showed up, we never heard another thing about it. So, he realized he was wrong. Everything has been pretty much fixed. But there's a huge gap in the fencing and that's the only thing we're waiting on to get fixed eventually.

I'm in the house going on two months now, and so far, so good. It's what I saw and what I expected. There are a few minor things here and there which are expected, but LGI has been addressing it accordingly. I know a lot of people that have a lot of terrible problems with them and have been here. I heard of a lot of bad things about them, but I have not experienced any of that. There are still a lot of vacant places around me, but for the people that I run into, everybody is very nice. I got a pamphlet in the mail about LGI and called the office. I liked the ability to use a VA home loan and not have to cover a majority of the closing costs. John was my rep and he stayed in constant contact. Any time we had a question, it was easy to get ahold of him. He was upfront about all the properties that he showed us, which was convenient. He seemed more concerned with us having something that fit us in our budget than he did about getting us into a home for the sake of sales. He did a good job helping us find something that fit us way better than just pushing us into something.
There a few minor discrepancies in the house when we moved in, like the door handles were all loose. But it didn't even take two days for the claim to get resolved. The builder was busy, but he got back to me almost as soon as I put a claim in. That's with the other couple claims I had. It’s all miscellaneous things, and they were all resolved really fast. One of the lines in the back of the fridge was broken. I didn't even notice it but when I went to my walkthrough with him, he noticed it. He used that as an example to show me how to go through the ticket system to put in a claim. He got that resolved even before we moved in, which was nice.
I like how straightforward and upfront the rep was and how easy the builder was to get in contact with for the discrepancies. It made everything way less complicated, especially ‘cause this is our first house. It made the process so much less frustrating than it could have been. She knew some of the info that applied that would benefit me.
The house is is beautiful. There are a couple of things that I would prefer to have a different layout. There are some minor things that were missed during my first walk-in just to see the inspection. I'm sure they're still covered under warranty. It's just a couple of things that I missed. They weren't big things and when you go into a new house, you're very particular with minor scratches and all of that stuff, especially with something new and something that expensive.
I love the location myself. There's a lot of distance to the closest groceries, but I love it because that's what I was looking for. The community was good. I hope we don't get bombarded with more properties but it could happen. At least I don't have a back neighbor. So, that's good. The community is quiet, so far. There's still a couple of construction 500 meters away from my house but assumably, they're also as quiet as I am. I rarely see one of my neighbors, but I know they're there. So, it's quiet. Nothing really drastic and I'm very satisfied in the two weeks that I've been here. The actual neighborhood is nice because all the houses are brand new. We were looking to rent in the same neighborhood and realized that we were in a position to buy. We went to the LGI office that day and talked about buying versus renting a unit. Their process was straightforward and we started off good. Since we'd already toured the home as a rental, it was just a refresher. They walked through square footage price and gave us the breakdown of the mortgage under the different program we were looking at. When it came to them explaining the mortgage plan options and a couple of other things, they made it easy to follow. They showed us the math as far as that piece goes.
We love the home but we're a little less pleased with the quality than what we were initially hoping for. On the coat closet that could almost be a pantry with the size it is, they used half-inch screws to hold the doors in. We've already had a door strip off the hinges easily. For a $400,000 home, that's poor quality there. There were also quite a few items from the home inspection that weren't completed that we've had difficulty getting them to come in and address. They didn't install the final shelf on one of the bottom cabinets. They knew about that on October 1st but they didn't get out until a week ago to fix that. We still have quite a number of items that haven't been resolved and are hopefully being resolved this Friday. We closed on October 9th but it's taking a full month before something is being addressed. I'm not overly encouraged to go with LGI a second time for a future home purchase.

My furniture is too big for this area. Whoever designed the house didn’t do a good job with it. I hope it doesn't get me in any trouble because the bedrooms are so small. There are no lights in the closet. There was no grass in my backyard and no doorbell as well. There’s a lot I don’t like about it. You don't look at all this stuff until you move in it and once you get in there, you discover that you made a mistake.

I looked at LGI's website and I like the new build. That was something that I would like because of the warranties and not having to worry about putting money out for major repairs any time soon. That was a huge deal for me. I did look originally at an LGI property that was much closer to my home where I was living, but their price point was way too high for me. So, I ended up moving to the one in Buckeye. The home consultant was very nice. However, there were things that he told me about that didn't end up coming to pass or was an misinformation on his part. But most of my experience with him was really positive.
I chose a home that had an extra bedroom, enough for me and my daughter and then an extra bedroom for guests or for anything else we needed, or if we needed extra storage. The one thing that the house is definitely lacking is storage. Most houses in Arizona I've noticed are lacking storage. I'm from Illinois, originally, from Chicago land area. So, we used to have storage upon storage. Here, it's like good luck trying to find anywhere to put anything. But I picked this one because of the other one that I was looking at was, while being in it, it felt like a glorified apartment. It's a little too small for my liking. The one above this one is a little bit bigger than the one that I chose, but I feel like it's too big and too much money for me. This one that I picked was just perfect.
The quality seems good to me so far. There are little things, but nothing's gonna be perfect. I think it's a great home. It looks very modern. It's got good flooring. The flooring is a luxury vinyl flooring. It looks like wood flooring even though it's vinyl flooring. It was big for me that most of the house has the vinyl flooring and only the rooms were carpeted. There's a really big backyard, which was shocking to me. It's unfinished. So, that's something that's gonna be a project for me but it's a good size backyard. I have a dog. So, the side yards were big enough for him to be able to use. The ceilings are nice and high. That was a big thing for me because it makes you feel like you have more space and less closing.
All the appliances were brand new. That was huge for me, too. There are more warranties. They had granite countertops. I did like the fact that it has gas cooking, which is hard to find here in Arizona. It's way better to cook on a gas stove. So, I was really happy about that. The house is the right fit for me. It has everything that I need in it, the laundry room, the walk-in closet, and the master. The other rooms are tiny but when you put all your stuff in there, you'll realize it is just enough. The living room's cute. The dining room is like it's barely there, but it's big enough for a few people. I did get a water system because they have really hard water out here.
If I could pick this house up and put it out where I came from, that would be my greatest thing that I could do. I'm not able to lift it up and bring it out there. So, it is a little bit of a drive. So, the biggest downfall to being out here is the drive. I have to drive 55 minutes to work every day and at home. I used to live 15 minutes away from my work. It's a big difference. It's an agricultural area out here. You wouldn't really think that there's a lot of animals. If you go drive down one way, it feels everything's more modern like city living, but if you go down the other way, it's all farms. So at night time, you do smell the poop from all the animals. It's not a fun thing. They have a dairy that's not too far away. So, that kind of sucks but it's also nice because you have that. It's the best of both worlds. You're a little bit more off the beaten path, and there's a country area but you're still close enough to everything else that you need.
I feel like LGI is a good builder, and a good company to get a home from. They are transparent about most things. There are some things that they just probably didn't know because it's a new community, but I think that they build quality homes from what I can see so far. The neighborhood is really cute. Once it's done, it's gonna be even cuter. I was the first person to close in the neighborhood. There's still a whole lot of building that's gonna be going on. So, this neighborhood is nowhere near finished. They're gonna be here for many years to come.
Everybody's helpful at the office. You have a question, you go in there and they're happy to help. Even if they might not know the right answer at the beginning, they will find it and make sure that they follow up with you. The only thing I'm a little bit upset about is the fact that it's taking a little bit longer for the construction manager guy to get the little things that were noticed prior to closing fixed. So, I'm just waiting for all of that still to transpire. I will keep in touch with him and make sure that he does not forget me.

LGI Homes was very professional in the way they went about their business. The houses were nicely built. I like the floor plan. The neighborhood is nice. They always kept us up to date. It wasn't like we were just sitting here and wondering what was happening. Every few days, we heard something. Whatever questions we had, we could just call and ask. They were on-point and very quick to get back with us. Their customer support was great. It made me feel like if there were any problems that were to come up, it would be handled quickly and professionally.
The home consultant, Matt, was the main one who helped us out. He showed us the house, and he kept us updated throughout. He was very respectful. He was a very big sigh of relief. The house is perfect, especially for me and my family right now. We love it. We love the neighborhood. We have two little dogs as well. They get to have fun and roam around in the neighborhood area. It's still being built, but at least we have that space to walk around and see everything. We are loving this spot very much. We are more than happy with the house.

LGI was in a good area. They offered nice incentives for first-time homebuyers. Our realtor showed us the new builds over here and everything worked out. It seems like the area that we moved to is going to be continuing to grow. So, it seemed like a win-win for us. We noticed a few minor issues in the house, like the faucet or the shower head, those little metal caps on the top of them weren't grouted in. The builder said that he would get to that when we moved in. But because we moved in so quickly, I ended up doing it. But overall, I haven't noticed anything of concern yet. The community is pretty good. They do a pretty good job to make sure that the grass is maintained in the area. I like that there's no HOA and everybody seems to be friendly in the area.

We started looking around for a home when I moved here in March. Then my wife remembered LGI Homes in Arlington. We drove out there one afternoon, saw what was available there and took it. It was a new home which meant that we could make it the way we want it to be. We're very happy with what we have. It's a nice home. It's warm, especially moving into the cold season. The appliances are all working well. We would have hoped that it could have come with a washer and a dryer but we got some for ourselves. The community looks safe. We've been there a few weeks, so there's still a lot to learn, but it's a nice community. I've interacted with a few neighbors and they've been very receptive.
LGI is a great company. They provide a lot of assistance to people looking for very good homes. They offer a great deal at a very good interest rate, and the homes are good quality. I like how at one point we were able to find a home and also find someone to give us a loan. The entire package made it easier. Everyone was very open. They were very swift with information. We first met with Jesse and he ran us through what it took to start the process. The process was fast. We started in August and they had thought that we could close on September 9th, which ended up being the day that we closed, but the process was even sooner. There was a chance that we could have closed sooner than September 9th. Carrie Ann who was from the loan group was there. She was very helpful in telling us how we could respond to some of the things that were requested. She had some ideas on what we could do to make it happen.

One of my friends bought a property at LGI Homes and we came to check it out. LGI is a good quality construction if you're looking for an affordable house. Kathy, the lady that works there, was super helpful and patient. She answered all our questions and was always available. We came and saw it in April and our particular unit wasn't gonna be done till end of September. They gave us time to put our house on the market and everything else in order so it was good timing for us.
Overall, the build is nice. But some of the details are not so good. They got a little more worried about just getting it done so some of the work was completed in a sloppy manner. You could tell some of the touch-ups weren't the best. Some nails are poking out on a carpet and one of our cabinets has extra drill holes. They left all their trash where the furnace is and there was a huge mark. They corrected some of it but we're finding some of the other stuff as we're settling in. It's those little finishing touches that were annoying and upsetting. They're nothing that we can't fix ourselves but they should've been not here for us to see. But I love the community. It's perfect. We're waiting for the dog park and once that's done, it would be fabulous.

When I went to the lot, everything was in process from done homes to homes in progress and I liked what I see. I went to the office, talked to LGI about it, and got a home in the process of being built. Their representative was very polite and answered all the questions. She convinced me to go for it the very first day since I talked to them and she helped me get pre-qualified before I was even qualified. I already knew this area before I decided to move in and she reassured me that it's a good choice. I'm very satisfied with the service LGI Homes provided me. It was a team effort from that office. There was also another person that came and gave me the tour of the house. There had been one or two times where the lady said she would respond back but did not until I called. But I understood. She had her plate full because she's been selling houses left and right. Other than that, everything was smooth.
The value of the house is close to what it's worth because of the size of the lot that I got and the size of the home. But the price could have been a little bit less for everything that's around here because there's not much. There are not many restaurants to eat. I also don't see why there should have been an HOA here because there's no self-maintenance or pre-security. If I'm paying for HOA, there should be something for me here. They got me on water on the plants in front of the house but didn't give me options for it. I gotta water those plants and it wasn't my option if I wanted those plants or not. I also didn't have the opportunity to pick a color of the house which I wanted to do. There were also no options on the granite top colors or the cabinet colors or floor type. It was as is. Even if it would have cost more money, it would have been nice to have an option for those. Other than those everything was pre-made real fast and it's still a nice home.

The home consultation at LGI was good overall. I had difficulties before the closing. There was something that had to be done, like very small fixes, after I did my own inspection. There were some defects identified by the private inspector. I told the builders to fix them. Then I was told that all the defects were fixed. But later on, when I checked, none of them were fixed. I again reminded them to fix them after that and they got fixed. So far, everything is good in the community.
However, I would like the contract to be a little clearer. For example, at one point, I was told that I could refinance the property one time for free. But I didn't see that in the contract. When I asked multiple times about that deal, if it's in the contract, I didn't get enough information. It’s not in the documents, but I was told orally. But the paperwork was very fast and it didn't take time.

I would speak very highly about LGI Homes. The rep explained the steps we would go through. Even at the first visit, he said, "Let's go look at a home for you." We did that. We found one we liked that fit the budget. It was amazing because after that walk through, he grabbed a sign out of his car and took a picture of us in front of the house. I sat there thinking, "It's not even a done deal yet. We haven't even looked at financing yet.” But he kept telling me through the process, "It's not a matter of if, it's just when." He was positive and a pleasure to work with. I felt like I found the right person. There are only a couple of little things with the build that we have to speak to him about. But we're very happy. LGI has a park for the kids, and a walking trail. I can't wait to see it all come together.

I was looking for homes 30 minutes within my job and LGI was building new houses in a town. They had locations that fit that bill. Their incentives helped me decide to go with a new build. Their interest rate is still very low even after the drop. They also paid a 2-1 buydown. So, the first year is only 3.5 and the second year is only 4.5. They paid most of the closing costs so, it mostly came down to just the financial. It made sense. The rep was awesome. He was professional, polite and did a good job explaining what their specialty was, which is bare bones. The house is nice but it’s very basic. It's got the cheapest hard LVP that you can get, which is 6 millimeters thick. I've never even seen that before. It's got carpet in the middle of the downstairs instead of doing the entire downstairs with the LVP. They did the entryway and the kitchen with the LVP.
The rep explained that LGI built these houses for people who want to make it their own. So, they made it as cheap as possible for them to get into. And then, they can do things like adding the trim around the windows. LGI didn’t do that but what they did, they did well. All the cabinets that they put in, they did right. When I found little issues, they fixed them before I bought the house. I've only been here for about three weeks and I like the town. I like the area and I've had no problems with the community. Right now it's completely under construction. So, I don't know how many houses have been sold here. Maybe 20 and it looks like there's a ton still to sell. LGI is building all over the place. The roads are terrible though. They haven't paved them yet and I've already had two nails in my tires. So, that's not great. But I understand that there's not a lot they can do about that.
The customer support has been great. The guy did an initial walkthrough and I pointed out a few things that weren't right in the house. Within two days, he sent me pictures and those things have been fixed. He was very polite. He showed me every little detail of the house and gave me his personal phone number and told me to text him if I had any trouble. He was on top of it. The sales guy that I initially talked to was great too. Everybody has been good and my experience has been nothing but positive. If I was gonna buy again, I would buy the same house that I bought. And dealing with the people I dealt with, I would deal with them again. I would very easily recommend LGI based on my experience.

My daughter goes at a school that LGI Homes built right in front of and I saw their sign. I was looking for a home and ultimately chose them. The process with the rep, Mike, was super seamless. When I called him, he set up the appointment and I went in with it. He had a lot of information about LGI Homes and explained that they are trusted in the country. He made us feel really good. After that, he showed us all the houses. He wasn't set on just showing us what we wanted.
We were set on the four-bedroom house 'cause it worked for me, my sister and our kids, and it's right down the street from my daughter's school. It was really easy to talk to Mike about it, and then he went over our information and let us know what was possible. The only thing was the delay with APS, but I know that was out of LGI's control, so I don't hold that against them at all.
I wish that the home we went with had blinds though. Not all homes come with it, but it's more of a privacy thing. The home came with blinds in the front, but all the other windows don't have blinds. Being first-time homebuyers, it's something that we weren't expecting to walk into, but we get it. Everything else is really great about the house.

I Googled LGU and I checked Better Business Bureau and some reviews. Based on the price point that I was at, the other companies like Lennar and their reviews were abysmal. I checked KB Home and all the builders in the area and they didn’t have good reviews. LGI had fair reviews. There were some reviews that said they had shoddy workmanship but still, it was decent enough after doing a comparative analysis as opposed to the other parties. It’s a well-made home. Since it was a new build, it wasn't built out. So I had to wait about three months. But the team did a good job. The only issue is that LGI haven’t switched the water over. So I don't have my garbage bins. I've been asking them and it's been almost a month. Every day, I have to call the City of Dallas to try to get that moved over. And they tell me the permit is still open on LGI Homes.
I've contacted LGI multiple times and they just tell me they'll do it, but they've never done it. So, my garage is like a mound of trash and then, I have to take it to these construction bins. And those bins are moving further and further away because they're almost done constructing a lot of the houses on my block. So now I have to take a mound of trash down a couple blocks, which is a pain. So, I wasn't too pleased by their lack of doing that. It’s an inconvenience, not only to me but all my neighbors have the same issue. It seems like that portion was completely neglected. But I enjoyed working with everybody at LGI and they were nice. The garbage bin is a different situation that I'll figure out.

And with the fridge, the ice wasn't coming out. But within two days, it started coming out. Other than that, there haven't been any issues.

It was usually within the same day. As far as the build, it was really good quality. We did have some electrical issues the first couple of weeks, but LGI was really good to get out there and get the warranty people to come fix it quickly.
Our home community is really beautiful. There's a lot of activity in the community that we’ve liked. There are a lot of kids. It feels safe because we get to see kids running around. That makes us feel confident about having our kids there. There is a splash pad and a barbecue pit in the neighborhood. They also have walkways where you can walk through the neighborhood. I highly recommend LGI. They have a quick and easy process, and they walk you through it well.

The reps at LGI were very helpful, polite and knowledgeable. However, I didn't understand a whole lot of the rules for the closing. The inspection should be done at least a week prior to the closing, but it was on the same day. Once the closing was done, I knew no one is gonna take care of the things which came out of the inspection. It took almost two weeks to fix the issues and there are still a few more things to be fixed. Also, clear instructions weren't given about parking in public areas. We have a park around, so we thought we can park our cars overnight. But that doesn't seem so. They towed our vehicles and we had to pay for the towing to get back our cars which was pricey.

LGI's construction site looks clean. Their construction workers care about their jobs and the sellers informed me about the house without trying to sell me the house. They were just letting me know what it all was about, what comes with it and the community. They talked to me like a human being, and I didn't feel I was being pressured to do anything. They’re real helpful and let me know exactly what was gonna be paid with the down payment and what percentage everything was gonna be. That's the main thing I didn't wanna be. I don't wanna be tricked into something and find out that I was gonna have to pay more later.
LGI has great quality builds. The paint quality seems good. The attention to detail that they had for everything is up to my quality. It looks like they take time and you can tell people have pride in their work by how they do the job. It seems like a good neighborhood as well. There are not too many people yet, but the people that I've met so far are nice and outgoing.

We were searching for new homes, and LGI come up in a bunch of web browser searches. We liked the design and the neighborhoods. I felt like LGI was a fair company, price-wise, and their customer service is phenomenal. We had the construction manager by the house today. They have been fabulous. The financial assessments are great. So, it's been a really good experience. We love our home. It's great. We had a stove issue and a back door issue, and everything was scheduled. They were very fast.
Hi David, congratulations on purchasing your new home! Exceptional customer service is one of our core values at LGI, we are always happy to hear that our sales team lives up to your expectations in the process.

The process at LGI was super easy. We came, drove down to the community we were interested in, and met with one of their representatives, and ended up starting the ball rolling that day. Everything was seamless in our experience.

We had gone to six other places and the gal at LGI was fantastic. Her name was Mary and my daughter loved her. I was just a cosigner for he and she said she was buying a house from that lady. The guy who did the walkthrough with us was also phenomenal. He didn't talk down to us at all, yet he showed us all these crazy little things that you never would have thought about. He was very real with my daughter and he explained to her the safety issues and things that I know were above and beyond just showing us the things of the house. He even made her start the pilot light on the hot water heater. We live in New Mexico, so it's really hard for us to know that she's in Las Vegas all by herself as a female. And it's scary. So, he showed her the things to look out for and what to know about the neighborhood, which was very good.
We've dealt with the D.R.s here in Albuquerque and Pulte, and we had asked LGI's rep if there a reason why we couldn't upgrade or change things like if we wanted a different kind of counter. And the explanation made perfect sense. It made us very comfortable with everything being the same. When you're looking for a new house, you want what you want and LGI Homes do a pretty good job putting in things that people would want. I have my own house and we're constantly doing remodeling because we want what we want. But I don't think my daughter will have to do any remodeling because everything is in her come and it's a very comfortable setup. I don't live there and I don't know anything, but I know how happy she is.
Hi Linda, thank you so much for your review. We are so glad we were able to help your daughter find her home. We love hearing that our customers had positive experiences with our team. We hope she enjoys it for years to come!

My experience with LGI was excellent. They took care of everything. There were no issues. They were great. Dora and Bryce are the ones I worked with and they were phenomenal. The location is great. The community is great once we were in. I purchased this on site. I was from California and moved to Texas. They were put together a little quickly. There are a few quality type things that could have been improved. But for the overall satisfaction, I'm highly satisfied with everything.
