I got my closing done in 10 days, so the process was pretty smooth. I’m already noticing a few cracks in the house, and the paint quality isn’t great, but I guess that’s just part of buying a new construction home. LGI was very helpful throughout the process, and they helped with whatever I needed. Overall, it was a good experience, and everything went smoothly.

I chose LGI because I grew up in the area where I bought their house, and after living in the city, I wanted to move back to where I was raised. They did a good job, especially DJ, who was the main person I worked with. He did a great job for me, along with my agents. They really worked with me and made sure I got what I needed. Whatever I needed, he made sure it happened.

My wife wanted something new, and the home buying process with LGI Homes was good. The lending process took 23 days, and it was great. The consultation was nice and upfront, and I love the quality of the build. There are a couple of parks and I have met a lot of friendly people in our community, too. I have told a couple of friends that that’s the best store to go to instead of keeping on going up on their rent. I wish my mom was here to see how this has impacted my life.

Newer LGI homes came with a warranty and I didn’t feel comfortable living in the house that somebody else probably lived in and didn’t know what they did to it. So, I figured a house that nobody’s ever lived in would be the best thing for me and my family.

We looked at LGI Homes in Belen, New Mexico but that was still far from my job in Albuquerque. So we moved up a little bit north to the LGI homes in Los Lunas and that’s when I met Adriana. She was wonderful. I was having a hard time finding my first house, so she made it so much easier when she showed me one of the houses that I absolutely fell in love with.

It's nice. It's quiet. I feel comfortable and safe. I like the quality. I like the way they put these little extras into it. I love the home.

I had a great experience with our sales guy. He was great throughout the whole process. He worked through the pricing side and once we got that squashed, everything was smooth. The newly constructed home was the advantage. With interest rates being where they are, they were able to work with me on that stuff. At this point in time, it came down to a lot of the backend stuff that LGI Homes is offering.

I came in talking to LGI Homes, not expecting to get a home. I was in an apartment and was looking to rent a house. One of my buddies told me to go check out LGI’s community. He's like, “Go talk to them. You don't know what's gonna happen.” I spoke to a few representatives. The thing that made buying a new build a lot easier than an old one is the process. It was so much smoother than buying anything that may be a little bit older. It meant everything was turnkey and I didn't have to worry about if there were foundation problems or anything that I may have to fix up. Once I was done with the process, I moved in. I have that peace of mind.

We are satisfied with the purchase from LGI Homes. The house is a little cheap, but it’s efficient for a starter home, for first-time buyers who they cater to. However, I don't particularly like LGI Homes’ practices which are almost like a used car salesman’s. We went out there to see the house and didn't know anything about LGI and how they do things. We saw they had an office at the location and went to connect with someone so that we could see one of the houses. It felt like a puppy-dog experience, where they take you out, show you the house, and put the “Sold” sign in front of the house.

My realtor set up an appointment and it worked out with LGI Homes. The home consultant Angela was good, friendly, and welcoming. Her personality was impressive. There were a lot of communication that took place, and it took two and half weeks from start to finish. The quality of the home is good, and the area is decent for a small town. Overall, the experience was good and easy, and everything was laid out. They were very honest and efficient.

I wanted a newer house at the time and LGI was building new neighborhoods right there in El Reno. Pablo is the guy that I got ahold of, and he was very interactive. If I had any questions, he was very quick to respond. They're very open on text and email throughout the whole week, not just during weekdays at certain times, so that’s very convenient. My loan got approved much quicker, so we closed in less than 30 days. These homes are being put up pretty quick, so there's always gonna be some minor issues, but I'm satisfied with what I got. With buying a new house being very stressful, they made it as stress-free as possible.

LGI's Commitment and promises were broken regularly. LGI did not want to re-paint the home as needed before giving us the keys. Landscaping is terrible (the grass was put in an unprofessional way). We never received user guides of appliances as promised (why did LGI threw them away in the first place?). Water heater was dead on arrival (we had to go to the LGI sales office to shower for 3 days). The emergency numbers we got for repairing things at home were not effective (when we called several times at different hours, nobody answered, so LGI, why give an emergency phone numbers if they do not work?). The refrigerator provided is unfit for this size home (about 19 cu.ft., freezer on top, refrigerator on bottom, not side by side as we saw in a less expensive LGI home). Toilet seat not secured. Some electric outlets covers are loose.

I was looking for new builds to buy. This is my third house, so the process was a little easier. I knew what they were gonna be asking for and that they were gonna be coming back four times asking for more stuff. With LGI, I like the promptness and almost pushing me in the direction that I needed to go. It was, "This is what it is. This is what you got. This is what you qualify for." It wasn't a whole lot of like, "Well, we might be able to do this. We might be able to do that." From start to finish, it was only about a month and I was in the house. That's very quick. I've had it take way longer.

My consultation experience with LGI was good. Everything was good and quick. The way the rep explained his numbers and the house was good. All my questions were answered, as well. It's also a good community. It's quiet. Haven't had any issues so far. I'm impressed with the backyard too.

The LGI agent I worked with was a professional guy. He did his job 100%. Their reps were professional, too. They knew what they were doing and I was satisfied 100%. Their price was also better than the other ones.

The reps at LGI showed us what the floor plans were and gave us all the incentives. The incentives outweighed what it would cost for the government grants, so we went with the incentives that LGI offered through their mortgage lender and the home insurance. It's been a lengthy process, but they were things that were out of their control. The post-sale communication with whoever the construction or project manager was could be improved as well. We had a hard time reaching them sometimes and whenever we needed updates. Other than that, the community seems nice, and the quality of the house is the same as any other builder. There are couple things here and there that were missed throughout the building process and we're trying to get them all cleaned up.

The location was in a nice area where I would prefer to live. My brother was telling me about it and I went, took a try and everything worked out. The rep at LGI told me everything I needed to know, what was coming soon in the area, what to look for, and the passion that they have for the homes and the builders around in the area.

For the most part, everything was really good with LGI. We did have a few issues with the person who was showing the home. He was giving financial advice but doesn't really have the expertise to give it. So, it made a few things a little more complicated when we had to borrow money to finish the down payment and stuff like that. They had a lot of stuff that they had to fix. And it just took a long time to get them fixed. So, the other day, we had to call them to come out because the windows were leaking ‘cause it looks like they didn't even put sealant. They didn't even seal the outside of the window. So, water was just coming in.

We stumbled into LGI Homes when we were shopping around for homes. I dealt with several different people, but everybody was very professional and willing to help. That moved me along very easily in the process. There was a lot of paperwork that they needed, and I had to do a lot of digging up, but as tough as it was, we went through it smoothly.

I got a pamphlet in the mail about LGI and called the office. I liked the ability to use a VA home loan and not have to cover a majority of the closing costs. John was my rep and he stayed in constant contact. Any time we had a question, it was easy to get ahold of him. He was upfront about all the properties that he showed us, which was convenient. He seemed more concerned with us having something that fit us in our budget than he did about getting us into a home for the sake of sales. He did a good job helping us find something that fit us way better than just pushing us into something.

The guy from LGI my wife would talk to a lot could be a pest sometimes, but I get it. They're trying to meet deadlines and get stuff done. Overall, they're nice people. They cared and they were trying to help us out a lot. Amin worked really hard to get us the house. We had a little turbulent time because we've been waiting on this house since February. I ended up losing my job, but they were very helpful. They made it work. They gave me time to find a new job. They didn't just drop us right away. So that was nice. The quality of the home is excellent. Location is very good. It's a mixed community. If you go one direction, you're in the hood. In another direction, you're in the country. It's very cultural. It's a melting pot here. I like it though. I'm happy with the community.

The LGI consultant was very pleasant, very informative, and gave me the information that I needed. And me being a wounded veteran and also a 100% disabled veteran, she was able to give me some of the information that applied to my status. So, that was good. I didn't even have to ask for it. She knew some of the info that applied that would benefit me.

The sales rep who walked us through the model homes explained each home very well. He closed all loops that I may have had when we got back to the office and discussed the homes and prices. The few issues that I found leading up to closing, they fixed everything within 24 to 48 hours. But it was all minor things like uneven paint on the wall. Nothing really drastic and I'm very satisfied in the two weeks that I've been here. The actual neighborhood is nice because all the houses are brand new. Once you get outside of the neighborhood, the community looks like a normal working class neighborhood and all these homes are very affordable, which you would think it would be more expensive being in Tampa.

LGI Homes has a good financing program, and the houses are affordable. Their financing is very smooth. The closing as well as everything were done on the location, and that's a very good thing. Overall, the lending process was good. It took less than a month. It was very detailed and they explained everything to me. The team at LGI was very good.

I lived in Elk River before and once I found out where LGI was building in Elk River, I really wanted to be there. It's peaceful, but my biggest reason was there's no HOA. They had exactly what I was looking for in a house. I have tears in my eyes going home every night to that. I'm so satisfied with everything and I have suggested to everybody I know who's not in a home, "Hey, look these people up. They're great."

We were looking to rent in the same neighborhood and realized that we were in a position to buy. We went to the LGI office that day and talked about buying versus renting a unit. Their process was straightforward and we started off good. Since we'd already toured the home as a rental, it was just a refresher. They walked through square footage price and gave us the breakdown of the mortgage under the different program we were looking at. When it came to them explaining the mortgage plan options and a couple of other things, they made it easy to follow. They showed us the math as far as that piece goes.

My agent helped me find a place with LGI, and I just moved in there less than three weeks ago. The quality of the home is really nice. The only thing I don't like about it is it doesn't have a deck, so I have to build my own deck. Other than that, the building is very nice to live in, and the neighborhood is very quiet. I'm older, so I like that it's peaceful. My neighbors are also very nice, but I work a lot, so most of the time, I do not get to see them.

We preferred to go with a new build because everything is brand new. LGI also has warranties. So that was the great sticking point. We got a three-bedroom, two baths, has a office, big living room, big kitchen, and big backyard. It's very spacious and open. I don't feel squished. The overall concept of the home was very, very appealing to us. Everything's been perfect. I've had one problem, and I've been able to get in contact with the builder, and he was there at our house in 30 minutes.

I had an awesome experience with LGI. The whole process was very easy. I saw the sign, went in, inquired, and did an application. It got approved and then the mortgage lenders took it from there. Then I got the phone call saying that I got it. It was pretty fast. It was a good process. I like the community. It's a good place. LGI is doing an awesome job. The people were great. The whole feeling was very warming and comfortable.

I had a good process when I bought the home. Willis helped a lot. The community still has a lot of empty lots, but so far, it's good.

I looked at most affordable new houses in Port St. Lucie and found LGI Homes. We set up a meeting on a Wednesday then we met on a Saturday. The first day we went there, we knew what house we wanted to be in. We spent six hours looking at the models then another two hours at the office getting the paperwork to put in the $1,000 security hold on one of the homes. The office is nice to go to and everyone's been very professional. Joshua was great. He was our Realtor. Stephanie was our loan officer, and she was really and diligent, following up and doing everything. Daniel, the construction manager, has been great as well.

I just passed by LGI and they offered better opportunities. Dealing with the rep was okay but once I got in the house, I didn't like the floor plan because it doesn't leave much room for anything. My furniture is too big for this area. Whoever designed the house didn’t do a good job with it. I hope it doesn't get me in any trouble because the bedrooms are so small. There are no lights in the closet. There was no grass in my backyard and no doorbell as well. There’s a lot I don’t like about it. You don't look at all this stuff until you move in it and once you get in there, you discover that you made a mistake.

I looked at LGI's website and I like the new build. That was something that I would like because of the warranties and not having to worry about putting money out for major repairs any time soon. That was a huge deal for me. I did look originally at an LGI property that was much closer to my home where I was living, but their price point was way too high for me. So, I ended up moving to the one in Buckeye. The home consultant was very nice. However, there were things that he told me about that didn't end up coming to pass or was an misinformation on his part. But most of my experience with him was really positive.

LGI Homes was very professional in the way they went about their business. The houses were nicely built. I like the floor plan. The neighborhood is nice. They always kept us up to date. It wasn't like we were just sitting here and wondering what was happening. Every few days, we heard something. Whatever questions we had, we could just call and ask. They were on-point and very quick to get back with us. Their customer support was great. It made me feel like if there were any problems that were to come up, it would be handled quickly and professionally.

LGI was in a good area. They offered nice incentives for first-time homebuyers. Our realtor showed us the new builds over here and everything worked out. It seems like the area that we moved to is going to be continuing to grow. So, it seemed like a win-win for us. We noticed a few minor issues in the house, like the faucet or the shower head, those little metal caps on the top of them weren't grouted in. The builder said that he would get to that when we moved in. But because we moved in so quickly, I ended up doing it. But overall, I haven't noticed anything of concern yet. The community is pretty good. They do a pretty good job to make sure that the grass is maintained in the area. I like that there's no HOA and everybody seems to be friendly in the area.

Amanda was really nice. It was an easy process to me. The build is pretty good. It's better than most of these homes that are built. I like the tables, the way they had them customized, and the brick outside too.

It was a streamlined process. I filled out the application and then they got back to me. We kinda did this back and forth. Then I signed the paperwork. It was a good experience. I'm pretty happy with the house at the moment.

We started looking around for a home when I moved here in March. Then my wife remembered LGI Homes in Arlington. We drove out there one afternoon, saw what was available there and took it. It was a new home which meant that we could make it the way we want it to be. We're very happy with what we have. It's a nice home. It's warm, especially moving into the cold season. The appliances are all working well. We would have hoped that it could have come with a washer and a dryer but we got some for ourselves. The community looks safe. We've been there a few weeks, so there's still a lot to learn, but it's a nice community. I've interacted with a few neighbors and they've been very receptive.

Go straight to LGI Homes. I liked the closing cost. My experience with the rep was straight to the point. The build layout is good. Also, it's a nice neighborhood.

One of my friends bought a property at LGI Homes and we came to check it out. LGI is a good quality construction if you're looking for an affordable house. Kathy, the lady that works there, was super helpful and patient. She answered all our questions and was always available. We came and saw it in April and our particular unit wasn't gonna be done till end of September. They gave us time to put our house on the market and everything else in order so it was good timing for us.

It was a long and time-consuming process, but wasn't that hard. Everybody at LGI Homes was helpful especially JC. He was something else. Compared to the prices that I got from other builders, LGI's price was fair.

I was looking for a house in Florida and didn't like any of the ones that were used. They had too much work to be done on them and I'm not able to do that. I needed something that was okay for me to move into and not have to do a whole lot of work. I like that LGI homes are well built. I went with them and they have been marvelous. The sales manager, Kevin, is awesome. The person who sold me the house, Steven, was wonderful. My real estate agent who helped me find this house was wonderful as well. She still checks on me. For buying a house in Florida, it's been a good experience with LGI. My house didn't close when it was supposed to but they held the house for me since April and I just moved in September 13th. The quality of the home is good.

The location that LGI Homes was building the homes fit our needs the most. Our home consultant was highly knowledgeable, very pleasant, very direct, and gave us all the details upfront. We did have a bit of considerations that they had to provide for us because we were out of the country for two months. They were kind enough to make the necessary adjustments for us. So, that was greatly appreciated.

The sales rep was very good. The house was already built when I bought it and the quality is good. The community is very nice and quiet as well. I like it. On the other hand, the price is more than the house is worth, but it's what it is for this current market.

When I went to the lot, everything was in process from done homes to homes in progress and I liked what I see. I went to the office, talked to LGI about it, and got a home in the process of being built. Their representative was very polite and answered all the questions. She convinced me to go for it the very first day since I talked to them and she helped me get pre-qualified before I was even qualified. I already knew this area before I decided to move in and she reassured me that it's a good choice. I'm very satisfied with the service LGI Homes provided me. It was a team effort from that office. There was also another person that came and gave me the tour of the house. There had been one or two times where the lady said she would respond back but did not until I called. But I understood. She had her plate full because she's been selling houses left and right. Other than that, everything was smooth.

I bought my brand new construction home from LGI just over a year ago. In that time they have had to replace my floor at least 4 or 5 times. When the year was up and so was the warranty I was told they would no longer help. So I have a bad floor still and now I will have to pay to have a brand new floor replaced. Stay away from this company.

The home consultation at LGI was good overall. I had difficulties before the closing. There was something that had to be done, like very small fixes, after I did my own inspection. There were some defects identified by the private inspector. I told the builders to fix them. Then I was told that all the defects were fixed. But later on, when I checked, none of them were fixed. I again reminded them to fix them after that and they got fixed. So far, everything is good in the community.

I would speak very highly about LGI Homes. The rep explained the steps we would go through. Even at the first visit, he said, "Let's go look at a home for you." We did that. We found one we liked that fit the budget. It was amazing because after that walk through, he grabbed a sign out of his car and took a picture of us in front of the house. I sat there thinking, "It's not even a done deal yet. We haven't even looked at financing yet.” But he kept telling me through the process, "It's not a matter of if, it's just when." He was positive and a pleasure to work with. I felt like I found the right person. There are only a couple of little things with the build that we have to speak to him about. But we're very happy. LGI has a park for the kids, and a walking trail. I can't wait to see it all come together.

The process was quick and easy. The rep who sold us the house was Chris. He was very professional. The community is great. Everybody is quiet and respectful.

I was looking for homes 30 minutes within my job and LGI was building new houses in a town. They had locations that fit that bill. Their incentives helped me decide to go with a new build. Their interest rate is still very low even after the drop. They also paid a 2-1 buydown. So, the first year is only 3.5 and the second year is only 4.5. They paid most of the closing costs so, it mostly came down to just the financial. It made sense. The rep was awesome. He was professional, polite and did a good job explaining what their specialty was, which is bare bones. The house is nice but it’s very basic. It's got the cheapest hard LVP that you can get, which is 6 millimeters thick. I've never even seen that before. It's got carpet in the middle of the downstairs instead of doing the entire downstairs with the LVP. They did the entryway and the kitchen with the LVP.

I knew a couple people that have gone through LGI Homes so I decided to take a look as well. I worked with Carol and she did a great job. She showed me all the homes and we went over the budget. Once we qualified, we moved on. The process was a little bit frustrating with closing dates and delays but she was great, even through the more trying times of the process. She was always there and always available for questions or anything.

My daughter goes at a school that LGI Homes built right in front of and I saw their sign. I was looking for a home and ultimately chose them. The process with the rep, Mike, was super seamless. When I called him, he set up the appointment and I went in with it. He had a lot of information about LGI Homes and explained that they are trusted in the country. He made us feel really good. After that, he showed us all the houses. He wasn't set on just showing us what we wanted.

The rep explained a lot of things to me. She was very nice. She cared about what I really wanted. After being here for the last three days in the master bedroom, it would have been better if there were two seats. The drawers in the kitchen and in the bathroom didn't have handles where you can pull it. They could also improve on the locks on the other bedroom doors. But the community is nice. My kids and I love it.

I Googled LGU and I checked Better Business Bureau and some reviews. Based on the price point that I was at, the other companies like Lennar and their reviews were abysmal. I checked KB Home and all the builders in the area and they didn’t have good reviews. LGI had fair reviews. There were some reviews that said they had shoddy workmanship but still, it was decent enough after doing a comparative analysis as opposed to the other parties. It’s a well-made home. Since it was a new build, it wasn't built out. So I had to wait about three months. But the team did a good job. The only issue is that LGI haven’t switched the water over. So I don't have my garbage bins. I've been asking them and it's been almost a month. Every day, I have to call the City of Dallas to try to get that moved over. And they tell me the permit is still open on LGI Homes.

My experience with LGI was very smooth, and straightforward, and they answered any questions that I had. With my responsiveness, we moved quickly. It took about a month and a half from start to finish. We love the home. The quality is a brand-new home. There was a garage issue, the door was opening. But because it was Wi-Fi, I knew better that somebody was clicking on their clicker. And when they left, it opened my door. But we figured that one out. And with the fridge, the ice wasn't coming out. But within two days, it started coming out. Other than that, there haven't been any issues.

Before we closed and even after we closed, LGI Homes said they were supposed to fix something in the garage where there were still some cracks on the ground. It's a new home and it wasn't supposed to have that. The bathroom also still have some cracks on the corner. I took some pictures but I would have to submit them. I don't think I have to call warranty for that because it's a new home. Everything was supposed to look brand new. So, I'm not really happy. When I had the walk through, I was showing them those spots but they were saying that they were going to fix them. Then they said they don't have to fix them.

The quality of the house is good. I like my home and I'm blessed because I met this company.

Aside from two things that were out of the rep's hands, the process was smooth from finding the type of model to the closed date. Pablo got us all the information when he could. Even when it was on some stuff that was out of his control, he checked in with his supervisors as often as possible. The quality of the home was great. Also, all the amenities LGI Homes have around the home are awesome. They have a volleyball court, a lake, a pavilion for parties, and a park out there. Using those are great for while I'm building the family, and the individual things like golf are also great.

LGI Homes was on point, from point A to point B. 100% good. I liked how fast we did our closing.

With LGI, the community is very nice community and the homes are beautiful. It's exactly what I was looking for, for me and my daughter. Also, I love that the homes were like move-in ready. That was a big plus for us. I worked with Lorraine and she was the best. She was very interpersonal with me and she made me comfortable. She walked me through the process and she was very transparent. She explained stuff to me and she helped me through every step. Everyone is very accessible and all of my questions have been answered. For the most part, this has been a very transparent process.

Mariana was knowledgeable and nice. It was a good experience. The home has good quality and I'm satisfied with the amenities that LGI offered.

LGI's Daniel was very nice. Whatever questions that I had, he was always attentive and he always answered the questions. He kept me up to date as what was going on and he was very knowledgeable. So far, the build of the home is good. I just bought it so I don't know how I would feel a year down the line. There were a few things that I would have wanted to change and if they could add that to the experience, even if it would cost a little bit more, it would have been a perfect experience. But it's not that I didn't know that you couldn't change anything on the model that they had. When I spoke with Daniel, he explained everything. So there were no surprises. Other than that, LGI had great customer service and everyone was very professional. The price is remarkable, too. They all build the houses the same way so everything is the same and that helps a lot with the price.

I went with LGI because it was closer and I liked the houses. I talked to them on the phone and they helped me understand the buying process and showed me the home. The build is great and the community is quiet. There's a lot of bugs, but that's expected.

The LGI rep was very thorough and patient. He explained the process, and it seemed doable. He wasn't pushy. He allowed us to make our own decision, which I appreciated. He was with us the whole time. We're happy with LGI. A good bonus is the internet that's included with the HOA. They haven't built the community center yet, so we're waiting for that. There's something to look forward to. The neighbors that I've met so far are nice and very down-to-earth. We made a good choice.

I want to express my appreciation for the team at LGI at Crandall TX. When I arrived, everyone was incredibly friendly and attentive. Jason, my salesman, was truly exceptional. I was quite indecisive about which property to choose, and he patiently walked me through comparisons between different houses until I made a decision. Despite the lengthy process, he remained patient and accessible whenever I had questions, promptly responding to my texts and emails. His customer service and bedside manner were truly exemplary. Jason also provided clear guidance on how the process would unfold. Dylan and Chadd were equally impressive, and I can't emphasize enough how much I recommend them. They will truly take care of you throughout the home buying process.

LGI homes were in the area where my fiancée’s parents were and touring some of them, they seemed to have good quality. Overall, the quality is decent. However, some of the fixtures as far as lights have builder quality. We knew that some of the stuff wasn't gonna be custom quality like you're buying a custom home. But it's as expected.

We found LGI online with my real estate agent. We went over and checked them out, and they had a move-in ready home that fit our timeline. It's a basic home. There are a few upgrades here and there, but the quality is 8 out of 10. We've had several warranty issues that we've had attempts to fix, but it's not quite done yet. They've been responsive though.

The rep with LGI was good. Everything's fresh in the community. However, I wanted an account of all the cabinets and doors so that I could tell the person picking up my door stuff how many things, but I don't know who to talk to.

My consultant talked to people nicely. The house is looking very good. I'm very excited and very happy for that. I have talks on my neighborhood. Everybody are nice and good people. It’s a good neighborhood.

We went to LGI's office, and the guy let us look at a couple of homes and the floor plans that they have. We ended up choosing the one that we have and we like it. The only thing was when we did the closing, the power company didn't turn on the power in time. I had called LGI that Saturday, and they told me everything was in place. Come Tuesday, we found out we were not closing until a week later. We ended up having to move a week later so we had to pay an extra week of rent. I wish they could have reimbursed us the week that we were fooled. Because of all the money that we had put into the house, we were living by the dollar. We asked to meet the manager but the manager never even tried to see us.

We were driving by the community while we were looking at homes in the area, and we decided to go in and look because we saw a promotion going on. We just went into the LGI model home and we talked to them. We liked their promotions like the 2-1 buydown compared to other builders. We hadn't heard much about that from D.R. Horton or anybody else. Josh was our home consultant and he was very respectful. He walked us through everything and how the process works. He showed us a couple of houses and walked us through what it would look like for our monthly payments. He also was there the entire time throughout the process during the couple of months it took to build. So, that was nice. He was really responsive. We would be asking questions all the time. Even if he didn't have a direct answer, he was always able to ask somebody else for us and get us the answer quickly.

The reps at LGI were very helpful, polite and knowledgeable. However, I didn't understand a whole lot of the rules for the closing. The inspection should be done at least a week prior to the closing, but it was on the same day. Once the closing was done, I knew no one is gonna take care of the things which came out of the inspection. It took almost two weeks to fix the issues and there are still a few more things to be fixed. Also, clear instructions weren't given about parking in public areas. We have a park around, so we thought we can park our cars overnight. But that doesn't seem so. They towed our vehicles and we had to pay for the towing to get back our cars which was pricey.

LGI's construction site looks clean. Their construction workers care about their jobs and the sellers informed me about the house without trying to sell me the house. They were just letting me know what it all was about, what comes with it and the community. They talked to me like a human being, and I didn't feel I was being pressured to do anything. They’re real helpful and let me know exactly what was gonna be paid with the down payment and what percentage everything was gonna be. That's the main thing I didn't wanna be. I don't wanna be tricked into something and find out that I was gonna have to pay more later.

We were searching for new homes, and LGI come up in a bunch of web browser searches. We liked the design and the neighborhoods. I felt like LGI was a fair company, price-wise, and their customer service is phenomenal. We had the construction manager by the house today. They have been fabulous. The financial assessments are great. So, it's been a really good experience. We love our home. It's great. We had a stove issue and a back door issue, and everything was scheduled. They were very fast.

The process at LGI was super easy. We came, drove down to the community we were interested in, and met with one of their representatives, and ended up starting the ball rolling that day. Everything was seamless in our experience.

We had gone to six other places and the gal at LGI was fantastic. Her name was Mary and my daughter loved her. I was just a cosigner for he and she said she was buying a house from that lady. The guy who did the walkthrough with us was also phenomenal. He didn't talk down to us at all, yet he showed us all these crazy little things that you never would have thought about. He was very real with my daughter and he explained to her the safety issues and things that I know were above and beyond just showing us the things of the house. He even made her start the pilot light on the hot water heater. We live in New Mexico, so it's really hard for us to know that she's in Las Vegas all by herself as a female. And it's scary. So, he showed her the things to look out for and what to know about the neighborhood, which was very good.

My experience with LGI was excellent. They took care of everything. There were no issues. They were great. Dora and Bryce are the ones I worked with and they were phenomenal. The location is great. The community is great once we were in. I purchased this on site. I was from California and moved to Texas. They were put together a little quickly. There are a few quality type things that could have been improved. But for the overall satisfaction, I'm highly satisfied with everything.

We were searching for homes on the internet, and we found a development through LGI. We lie the look of the homes, the location, and the price. All just fit what we were looking for. The sales rep was very nice and helpful. Our lender made the process really easy to go through and understand. We had a lot of support for any questions we had, which was nice. The whole process took about three months because the unit was still being built. Now that we're in it, everything is good.

It felt like a really easy process with LGI and the rep who helped me was really nice. The only thing is the walls feel that they're very thin. I can be in the kitchen and if I'm like, "Hey, do you need this?" and they can answer. Other than that, the house is really nice.

This was my first time buying a house. LGI was closer to where I used to stay, and when I came in and asked to see a couple of houses, the reps were more than willing, even though I wasn't sure if I was gonna buy a house. Initially, the house that I wanted wasn't built yet, but they showed me a house that would look like it and I liked it. The paperwork was really easy too. They walked me through it. They also assured me that the price was gonna be the same and there were no hidden fees. Whatever they told me was really upfront. The price was good for a brand-new house and the size fit my family well.

The process went well. Everybody was professional. It went very smoothly. But there are some little things. I'm a not a nitpicker but there are some stuff that I saw. The contractor should have inspected the house. Everybody looks at big stuff but it's the small stuff that could have been corrected. It's not the end of the world, but LGI Homes should have noticed some stuff. The contractor said a couple of things that he would do, once we find it that they had overlooked. And it took him a week to come out. He sent somebody over and they painted in the garage. Also, there were feet print in the garage on the floor, which he scrubbed up and got water, and it came right out. But I saw some little paint area over one of the doors in the bathroom. I was, "Wonder what happened there? They didn't finish that." And in the pantry, in the corner is a little piece of wood and it wasn't painted. How did I not see that? But when buying, I looked fast when I walked through.

What I love about LGI is that everything is in-house. You don't have to go to a bank and all of that. They made it easy to do business. Everybody did a wonderful job. I was kept informed about the whole process. I was kept informed about everything. I was told exactly what I needed to do. They made the process really easy and it was well worth it. Every question that I had, they made sure I had an answer. I would call either Joey or Logan and they gave me the answer. Nothing went unchecked. Every time we went into the office, everybody greeted us with a smile, asked us if we wanted snacks or coffee. So, it was just like home. This is how they address me now, "You're at home," and it actually feels like it.

When we went to LGI, the rep walked us through the office. They had some posters up on the wall and he explained the layout of the community, what the plan was for the development, and the values of the company. I felt very comfortable with the honesty and the commitment that they had to us in wanting to go with purchasing a home. It wasn't stressful or scary besides how much nerves you could get.

We needed a house right away and the home-buying process with LGI was great. We were able to move quickly. The house was ready to go and for the price of the home, everything worked out well. We're very happy. The rep was very knowledgeable, courteous, worked fast and had a lot of experience. So, all good for what we needed. My son can fish in the lake but as far as the amenities, it’s a small community, so it's still in the works.

LGI was close to my job and I chose a new build because they have the 2-1 buydown. Dealing with the rep was good. It was just a lot of texts because I was out of state and did everything over the phone and online. If I had questions, I called them or shoot them a text and I got an answer. I've been driving around and some of the communities have gate. So, it would be nice if LGI could add that.

Our consultant was good. He took care of any questions that I had. He was very friendly. He said, "Whenever you need me, reach out to me. Answer whatever questions," and he filled that part. But there was a lot of paperwork during the process. It sucks. There's no way around that. It's a headache. The whole process took about a month because we were waiting on them to finish everything. If the house was already built, it would have taken about two weeks. The community is nice. I like the area. There's an elementary school right beside it and the houses are nice.

I was looking at houses in the area and I saw the new housing development by LGI and we fell in love. This is our first time buying a house and we're both young. So, we wanted that experience not getting into a house that somebody already lived in for multiple years. We wanted to start fresh, which was why we chose a new build. We didn’t have a real estate agent and the LGI reps helped with the process, making it super seamless and stress-free. It was super transparent. I enjoy the community. There are not many people outside right now but the community is nice. LGI put a lot of time into the landscaping and where they build. We don't have random people driving through our area. Our home is very convenient. It's nicer than an apartment. We have a yard, our own space and an easy commute to the freeway. There are lots of stores around us so we never run into an issue with that. Overall, it’s just a really good experience.

I have lived in my new home for 3 years and am very disappointed in the warranty 210 that LGI uses. The foundation in my home is already shifting and is causing so many issues. My front door to my home doesn't stay closed unless it is in lock position. All the windows in my home don't close completely because of the shift in the foundation. All my doors inside my home are no longer staying closed. I have a dip in my upstairs bathroom floor and cracks in my wall. The sheet rock nails are now becoming visible in walls.

LGI is a horrible builder and has even worse customer service. I have had a plethora of issues with my new build home that was constructed end of 2020, beginning of 2021. I began having issues with the backyard gravel creating small sinkholes which the builder attributed to “settling.” They came and did some work but did not fix the issue as it happened again a few months later. Fast forward to 12 months after closing and the fake stucco is beginning to flake off along with the paint (not actual stucco) that they used to color it, the garden walls are beginning to crack, the garage doors are literally snapping in half, one of the toilets didn’t work, and to top it off the yard that they “fixed” two times prior was beginning to give me problems again.

Our rep at LGI Homes was very on point with everything, so I really liked that. Recently, I found something in my garage which I'm going to make a claim on to see if they can come and fix it. Other than that, the home is good and pretty quiet. I like it.

I had a home that was under contract but it was not approved. So, I looked for a secondary option just in case that didn't pan out. I came over to LGI Homes and I was impressed with the quality of their homes. Their application process was smooth and our rep, Carrie Ann, was awesome through the entire process. The quality of the home that we got from them is high though there are some areas where clearly some corners were cut. The laminate flooring, for example, is super cheap. I can see that with my dog, in short order, it's going to get torn up. So far, the community is great. But they've got the water set way too high on the grass in the backyard, so it turned into a heavy soft mud. And as they're mowing it, there are big trenches cutting it everywhere.

LGI Homes was very friendly. We're happy with our home. It's in a single-family residence that's in a homeowner’s association. And all the homes in the homeowner’s association have been put by LGI Homes. There is a park that is central to it. It has playground equipment, grass, and picnicking pavilions.

The style of the homes were more to my liking. There was diversity. I also liked the area and the way the homes were built. I had one LGI Homes consultant that I worked with primarily that I enjoyed. Amazing. He was professional. He walked me through the entire process, kept in touch with me, kept me on top of what was going on. I had a lot of fear and doubt, but he had a way of encouraging me and just reassured me that I could do this. The home is beautiful. I love it. People are moving in the community slowly. But it's quiet, and people seem friendly. The neighborhood is quaint. I love the town. I'm glad I made the decision.

The rep was very knowledgeable and responsive. Overall, LGI’s process is good. But they can improve on the warranty piece that happens after closing. I'm having issues with my yard and the landscaping is not covered. There is one park in our community and the quality is poor. It’s in somebody's backyard so you don't know where to walk through. It's not very defined. And with everybody just now purchasing a home, you don't wanna mess up their grass so we just don't use it.

I walked into LGI’s office and Dee, the rep, did everything. She asked if I could pay this much a month based on the numbers. She already knew I could and I said I'd be willing to do that. She said okay, walked into another room and said I should be good to go. I left, waited a month, and sent them some things and to some loan guy. A month later, I was in the house. LGI went with the green building standard especially the studs in the walls. The supports aren’t 16 in the center. The guys did the 24-on-center method, which is fine. It's just a very expensive house to have less structural integrity than is needed. The appliances and the fixtures on my doors are cheap, like my locks and door handles. But the land makes up for it, which is not a big deal. I can replace those with time. It was an easy home-buying process. It’s just the materials were cheap.

LGI moved the process along quickly. They were straightforward in answering but when they started to get a little closer around the closing time, we were having trouble getting ahold of them. When they weren't available, I had to get ahold of my realtor to get ahold of them. The house is overpriced for the way it was built. For it being a new build, it could have been better. The floor wasn't complete and there were holes on the island. There were certain areas that they didn't do the caulking right. They left a lot of open areas for a lot of critters to get in. Being in an area like that, I would have expected them to be more on it about that. In our garage, we had a big hole in the drywall and I had asked them to come back and fix it. The community also feels a bit unsafe. Somebody already tried breaking into our house and our neighbors were telling us the same thing as well.

Robin was fantastic. She was honest and a good person to work with. The process took a month and I love the home. The community has a little park area and a walking path.

Our initial person with LGI was Jay. But something had happened to where I couldn't contact him anymore. They had transferred me over to Eddie who helped me with the rest of the process. He was a pretty busy man but he still took care of his business. I also had an additional help from an older gentleman who worked off in the office. He had allowed me to do some work off the computer and assisted me. The quality of the home caught me off guard. I didn't think it was gonna be that good of a quality. Once I saw it, it was lovely.

Negatives: 4 months in and I've found numerous workmanship errors: Windows aren't aligned or locking mechanism doesn't align. Poor electrical grounding, or no GFCI outlets work properly. Constant breaker popping. LED retrofit plated units not LED bulbs. So after a decade I expect it will not be a simple cost effective replacement to find. - AC unit does not evenly cool all areas. Main bedroom stand-in shower knob is at the furthest point so expect to get soaked unless you have an extension shower head. Significantly lacking studs and unevenly spaced. Also 1/2 inch studs... terrible. Sound proofing is not nearly as good as I was led to believe. Garage fits two cars but will severely reduce movement and space. No ceiling fans in spare bedrooms. These are small details realized in hindsight, and in few cases hard to predict until move in. It looks new and beautiful but it's contract built.

Getting started with LGI was streamlined. The rep was nice. The house is a new construction and I like it. I'd tell others to give LGI a shot.

The location is as I expected and the quality of the homes is okay. However, there are a few last minute things that I had to have them come back and take care of like with the appliances. Also, the electrician that I had hired to do some installations came and found a broken beam in the attic, so they had to come back and reinforce that. Other than those and dealing with the lender, everything else went as expected. Any issues that I've encountered afterwards, LGI was quick about taking care of it.

My home consultant from LGI Homes was good. I like the quality of my home's build. It's good. So far, the community is quiet and nice. It's a great atmosphere and environment. I have a sense of satisfaction with a place to call home and it's actually mine, not something to rent.

LGI is fantastic. I'd recommend them to my friends and people who I know want to get a house. I am very happy. Everybody has been very helpful. The rep was very approachable. He called us all the time if there was anything that we needed to do. Even if the work did not belong to him, he helped us all the way. He would refer us to the person responsible for that work. When we did the final walk through, I did not notice that the flooring was a concern. I signed all the papers and was excited to have the house. Unfortunately, lately, I noticed that the flooring needs to be improved.

The home consultant with LGI Homes was great. She was calling us on a regular basis, keeping us up-to-date on how well the process was going, and when we'd be able to move in. It was really helpful. The build was good. We love it.

The process was a bit lengthy, but LGI Homes was very helpful with getting our information and going through the process of getting us approved. I love our home. It's perfect for our family. It's three rooms, one for our son and daughter, one for my partner and I, and the playroom for both of our son and daughter. The backyard is perfect space as well. Up until now, we've been going from apartment to apartment. We finally found something that's ours, and we can build on and make ours. We're excited about that.

LGI had a nice price, and it was close to work and a good opportunity. The reps, Stacy and Christy, helped me a lot with the process and notified me with the details and updates. I have a couple of issues that need to be done and I already made the claim. LGI forgot but they're working on it. So far, the build is good. I loved it the first time I saw it and just decided to get with it. LGI is building a lot of new homes for people and it's very affordable. It's a great community they’re building.

I thought LGI's homes are unique so I went with them. The rep who helped me get my home was good and explained everything to me. I was impressed with the way she would talk and go through the paperwork and what stuff means. They were real nice and respectful. Also, the home is well-made.

We met with one of LGI's people and went over pricing and forms. The process was fairly easy. This is our first time, and I felt everything went well. We've referred a ton of people already to LGI. There's no money down needed and it's a one-stop shop of buying a home. You don't have to use a Realtor. It's our first home, so we have a huge stepping stone and a big milestone at that. Our screen door was nicked and there's a scratch on our floor from what they put the stove in but we have a year warranty. I'll have to call some people and use it. That way, they could fix it.

I saw the ad for LGI and it said I could own my own home for $2,000. I didn't believe it, but it was easy to fill out the questionnaire and I did that. I got a call back a couple of days later and they wanted me to come out. I did and they showed me the house. I liked it and it was a little bit more than 2,000 but some of the people that I work with rent almost what I paid for a mortgage. They did all the work through the process and right now, I'm 100% satisfied with what happened. The site is fantastic. It's a little further in-between stores and shopping centers but I'm trying to learn the community and so far, it's looking good.

The rep answered most of my questions. It was good. I like the home. There are a few quirks out. It wasn't quite perfect, but I'm kinda getting results through LGI. Getting assistance is easy, but I've made a few requests that haven't been answered. So, I have to like call. There's more effort. They don't address them as easy as I'd like.

LGI was developing next to a residential area that I service and the house was close to my job, my mom and my brother. So, it was perfect. Marcus, the rep, was great. He didn’t rush the situation and I liked that he just didn’t sell the home. He sold the idea of LGI. He told me what they were doing, the city, the proximity, how the development was developing and how it would increase in value. I had a little trepidation because it was right down the street from City Gas and right down the street from a low-income place and he said that what happens with a development like this is they increase the value of surrounding areas as opposed to decreasing it. So that was good. Hilton, the developer guy who walked me through everything, was very knowledgeable. Everybody was very helpful. The customer service was excellent though the price could have been cheaper. But everything was cool. I could afford it.

When we went into the LGI sales office, other than the sales people being a little bit pushy because they generally are, we were treated very nicely. What made us go with LGI over some of the other builders was the buy-down. We got a 2-1-1 buy-down on our interest rate, so our interest rate is 2% lower this year. It'll be 1% lower next year then we'll be paying our final interest rate in two years. That is attractive to buyers because it gives you an opportunity to adjust your lifestyle and your budget to a higher payment.

LGI Homes' rep is responsive even to this day. He has been amazing. He held our hand throughout the process. It was our first time buying a home. The only complaint that I have so far is the response time for warranty claims through LGI Homes. When we did the final walk through, there were things that were blue-taped. Three to four weeks later they still have not been followed up on. We were supposed to get our stove replaced due to a dent on that. Those things haven't been done, which is not all just the builder home issues.

LGI was one of the first houses that we looked at. We showed up to their sales office and talked to Joshua in Strasburg, Colorado. This is our first house, so he pretty much taught us everything we know about buying houses. He was very informative and super helpful with the process. Then we ended up leaving, and we looked at some other options. Josh specifically was super good about staying in touch with us and when LGI had some good promos going on, he was good about contacting us. So five months later, we went back to them and ended up buying from LGI. Everything was awesome and super smooth. Everybody was very helpful and I couldn't have imagined it going any better. We've been in our new home for about five weeks now and so far, we haven't had any issues yet.

I like the fact that LGI is a builder, a mortgage solution company, and an insurance carrier all in one so it's one-stop shop. The whole process was very easy and people were easy to work with. The loan consultant was on top of things all the time and responding timely. I'm happy with my purchase. It was a good price. I haven't been living long enough in my home but from what I see and experience right now, it's good quality. It's a nice community as well.

Compared with other builders, LGI wasn't fully paying all closing costs and they don't come with certain things either. They gave me the least amount of incentives out of all the other builders that I spoke with. But the process with LGI was smooth for the most part. The agent great. He was a big part of the reason I went with LGI. You could tell that he was very genuine. I'm a single mom and I have two kids. He was looking out for me and my best interest versus just trying to sell me something. Having a new build home, I now have more peace of mind to know that I wouldn't have to fix anything or worry about any of that, at least not for a while.

The first time the rep from LGI came out, he told me about the company and what they had to offer. He was very nice and personable. Then, he showed me a couple of different houses. I told him I didn’t like the first one because it was too small. We went to the next size and I liked it. I told him it was all about money to me and he said he didn’t want to entertain the thought of going to a higher-priced house unless I wanted to look at it. I said if I see that one, I’m probably gonna like it and want it. And I don't wanna have to worry about not being able to afford it. So, he was very honest and straightforward. I went back on a different day and took my husband and looked through the house. The rep worked out what it was gonna cost, how everything would be processed and what the loan process would be. The house is well worth the value. In other places, that same house would sell for more money.

I liked the location, the house and the material and finishing of the house as well. The rep showed me the required papers and we went from there. The process wasn't easy with the underwriter but it has nothing to do with LGI. Everything else was okay. I love the house. It's perfect.

I wanted to experience a new home. I had a great experience with LGI. I went to LGI's website, and then I looked around at the new home builds. It showed me all the different styles they had. They had five different styles. I called their number and they set me up with a wonderful representative. Carol was her name. We set up a time on Saturday. My kids and I came over, and she showed me the styles and the different homes. She walked me through the steps, and I was able to get everything going. So far, our home's been great. Everything is brand new. It's all Whirlpool appliances. Everything is granite. It's great. That's something more than I expected. I also love our new home community.

LGI had promos for the interest rate and I liked the location of the house so I went with them. They were pretty responsive with my questions. They call me and tell me if they can't answer something, they'll escalate it to someone who can. There was just a hiccup during closing day for us with signing with the notary. But they made something work and it didn't delay the closing. The construction is good for what we paid for. Things have been working as intended for the most part and they've been able to address our ticket items when we mention something. I'd tell others to go for it and refer them to Greg.

I was the rep's first transaction and I liked his energy. He was just getting acclimated to LGI Homes' and he had an infectious personality. Also, he seemed to know his stuff. I got some issues, but they're being dealt with. Also, I'm content with the neighborhood I'm in. The two individuals that I dealt with seemed very personable and if I had questions, they answered them. I didn't feel I chased them down and they responded. I've had a very pleasant experience with them.

I toured the home, we talked about some numbers, ran some things, and it was seamless there. We filled out a little paperwork and everything else was done online with the loan company. It was easy, very professional and on top of it. LGI Homes' partnership with loanDepot made the process seamless.

Everything went smoothly and amazingly. LGI Homes was patient with us. We got through the tour quickly. They showed us everything. We went through the payment process quickly. Everything is new. We had to hire an electrician for the internet. But that was expected, and that is what LGI told us we would do. Everyone likes our home.

I grew up in Los Lunas and wanted to move back here. So, we were looking at anything possible to move back to Los Lunas, and my husband managed to find LGI on the internet. We liked that the homes were complete when we were viewing them. Our home consultant, Santos, was amazing. I want him to have as much kudos as he can have. Right now, the build of our home feels amazing. We are very pleased with our new home community. I grew up in an older part of Los Lunas, and having the ability to see walking trails and be so close to Los Lunas Hill has really hit it home. We like it.

One of my extended family members told me about LGI. We looked into it, and they were awesome. The warranties that were on the house were very enticing. I'm a first-time homebuyer so that little blanket of security was very nice. The quality of the build was very nice. I feel like the appliance could have been nicer, but that's okay. For the price we paid, it was solid. Our new home community is nice.

Adam was very helpful. He gave us a lot of information, and he was there for every step. The house was good until we moved in. But there were a few stuff that could have been done better. I made a claim with LGI Homes, but no one has got back to me. Some of my outlets have not been working from the day we moved in. Also, for the fence post, they poured concrete on only half of someone's yard. So, that caused almost all the fences in our neighborhood to fall down because only half of someone's yard had only concrete for the post, and it was a very sloppy job as well. But the community itself is very good. We have a 12-acre lagoon, two other pools and two gyms. I'm very satisfied with that part. I love it.

We decided to downsize to a smaller home and chose LGI because of one person, Ben. He was the salesperson at LGI in Ferris, Texas. The neighborhood was just right down the road from where we were at, so we went down there and looked around and we met up with Ben. He was excellent. He did a lot of things that we didn't think that a salesperson would do as far as showing us the options that LGI had to offer and he answered every single question we had. We spent a lot of time with him. He pointed out that LGI was one of the top homebuilders in the United States and he showed us a map of all the properties in the United States. He was very knowledgeable, thorough, professional, and courteous.

I purchased a home published on Redman. The rep from LGI Homes, Luis, was very nice and knowledgeable. I've been recommending him to my friends and family. Everything is great with the home and it has met perfectly all my expectations. I really like the garage which is very big for a townhouse. I'm also very happy that all my neighbors are really nice.

LGI Homes' pricing was right and since it's a new construction, it means that the home is up to newer code, which is more energy-efficient. So, we signed up with them and the rep we had was friendly. When we had questions, if he had an answer, he was quick to give it to us. If not, he was quick to say that he knew how to get an answer and he would get back with us. We went with the beach floor plan, which was a three-bedroom and two-bath. The layout is really nice. It's an open concept for the living room and the kitchen area, and there's a lot of storage in the master bedroom and bath. The bedrooms feel a little on the small side, but at the same time, they're big enough to serve their function. The community is quiet and well-maintained. There are a few dog parks and there's the big park right near the school.

These houses are built cheap and they cut corners on their builds. Shingles will fly off in 60mph winds, siding flies off during storms. Windows leak. Air vents leak when you get a thunderstorm. These houses are 200k-300k and they're built with cheap ** material. Don't buy from them.

We purchased our home from LGI a little over a year ago. Recently, while cutting the lawn, I noticed the siding was warped like a fun house on one side on the second floor to the middle of the house. I contacted the building supervisor and finally, after a few weeks, he came out to look at the siding. He told us since the 1-year warranty was expired, by a few days. We would have to file a claim with the siding company. Siding company says they need certain paperwork from LGI, which took them weeks to give me. But the siding company let me know, 9 out of 10 times with warping, it’s bad installation. This whole process is taking way too long. Emails go unreturned for days on end. Phone calls get ignored.

When I came to look at a model, I didn't have an appointment but LGI took me right away. Jalen was fantastic. From what I said I wanted, he recommended a couple. A short time later, I wanted to come back and see one of them. I found another one and was able to tour it. He took me back to tour the first one and said, “I want you to come back and tour the one that you just did.” I did and it was day and night. I love the layout and the upgrades, and I signed the documents. LGI is very good. I see a lot of quality in this home and the ones that they're building. They are also much better in pricing than other places I looked at that didn't seem to have the quality that this one does or the upgrades. I've talked to some neighbors that have been here longer than myself, and they've had nothing but good things to say.

The people at the office were welcoming and the rep I worked with was relatable and down-to-earth. LGI is a good starter home if you're looking for a place to settle down for now. The quality of the home is good. It’s just that sometimes, there are ant problems. But the amenities are good too. There’s a pool and a park.

From the start, Amanda, the rep, was extremely professional and it was a pleasant experience. In the end, we had a little bit of conflict regarding the closing date. Everything was fine up to that moment. But we worked it out and it was fine. I'm extremely satisfied with the loan officer. It was just dealing with the builder enforcing a specific closing date that was not beneficial for us. The home came with all new appliances in the kitchen, which was outstanding in comparison to the other ones that I had seen. The transition with utilities was fairly easy. The backyard didn't come with grass but it's fine. We're just gonna do it ourselves. For the price of the home, it has a concrete slab. I'm satisfied and even the design itself seems modern in comparison to other designs that I've seen.

As new homeowners, we were not very familiar with how the process works and it was very nice meeting with Justin, the rep from LGI. He was very helpful with us and patient, walking us through the process and the area, and everything that we needed to gather to get the house. From the moment that we saw the house to the date of the close, it was about three weeks. The first time that we saw it, we secured it. So, the process was quick. I like the house as well as the community. It's very quiet and it’s what we were looking for. We have a little girl and we go to the park almost daily if it's not raining.

I noticed that LGI's prices were reasonable and their building structure and the design of their places looked a little more contemporary and maintainable. I looked into the builder and read a little bit about their designs. For the price and the area that I was looking at, it looked like a good deal. The application was a lengthy process and it seemed normal to me as far as the time. The requirements these days are a little different than they were last time I did it and I sort of went with it. They're still building and they're like half done. They're doing a good job and I'm pretty happy.

The quality of our LGI Home is great. I'm getting used to the location. It's a new place. But it's okay.

LGI got a great benefit with the financial where they pay the closing cost, which is a big help for us. A lot of companies don't do that. They worked with me and I worked with Diego for about a year. When I first started this process, my credit wasn't that great, but he helped me. They told me the steps to get where I need it to be to so I could be able to get the home I wanted. From Diego to my loan officer, they were great and everybody in the office was amazing. I started my actual process a year ago, but my credit wasn't at the right stuff yet and then, I came back the third time and everything was ready to go. We closed within 30 days.

I picked LGI over another company was because of what I thought of the quality of the home and in relation to out here, they have water and well. I settled for the septic tank, but we do have public water. I got a quarter of an acre and it was in my price range. Also, I needed three bedrooms plus an office and that's what it says they'd give to me and the rooms are a good size. What I don't like is the fact that they don't give the specs of the home, especially of the rooms. I insisted on getting the size of the room so, they printed me out something.

Our consultant was friendly, straight to the point, and very professional. The quality of the build is up to par with the building I was living in before. I'm not too fond of HOA neighborhoods. But the community seems fine so far.

The salesperson, Alex, helped me out and was thorough. She was the number one reason why I chose LGI. The purchasing process was perfect and I was comfortable with it. But the warranty is something completely different. I had some issues that I have reported and they're still under a claim. So I am unsure how that's gonna work out. It is what I'm most concerned about and most disappointed in right now. The person who came today informed me that it was my fault that the toilet tank gaskets were damaged. I refused the service because he was trying to charge me $180 and that didn't sit well with me at all. The community seems very quiet but I've only been there for about five weeks.

We ended up going with LGI because had everything we needed. The home buying process was smooth. The sales rep was really attentive and always answered my questions, even after we first saw the house and I decided to buy. The accessibility to everyone is what made it a great experience. Everyone that we had to talk to, whether it was the construction manager, the sales rep, or even the loan officer, was always available for us.

So I just want to say. LGI Homes was awesome to work with. Derek was great as well as Karl. The closing and overall information I received was so easy. I love my new home. I'm super excited for my new chapter of my life.

LGI took their time with me and took care of business. When it came to the documentation and the underwriter, it was fast-paced. My wife and I didn't expect to get the house in less than 30 days. I've tried to get two of my close friends to move into the community. I told them the process, the price they would need to put down on the house, how much reserve they would probably need to get, how long they would have to save, and how fast and simple the process was for us.

I like LGI Homes, and the house that I got. I would go this route again and would recommend LGI Homes to somebody else. I'm paying a rent and mortgage and I told my salesperson as soon as we sat down when my lease was up. I wish we got a little closer so I wouldn't have months of overages. My lease is not up, so I still had to pay my rent. I would have liked to not be doing this because I pay $5,000 in rent still and I live in my house now. Other than that, our loan officer was a friendly and very responsive person. He gave us his cellphone number. He gave us a way to access him 24 hours a day. He didn't necessarily respond 24 hours a day. But we had a way to communicate with him. I liked that. I had questions throughout the process and he answered those and got back to me with information that I requested.

Brandon of LGI Homes was a hell of a salesman. Up until the sale, he was great. He would give me follow-up calls. And he would be on top of it. He kept me updated all the time. The day of closing, they guided me through. And they even set up an account for me. So, it was excellent. The follow-up call after that, the warranty representative tried to shoot down everything. I saw him as a gatekeeper to not get repairs done because repairs mean additional expenses for the company. But besides that, they handled it at the end of it because I complained to my Realtor and Brandon. And they were on top of it. They said, "All right. No. We'll get you squared away.” And they corrected a few things. Everything seems nice.

We had an appointment, my Realtor's assistant was there and the LGI's representative. We looked over a house, then we started the paperwork. But they were waiting for my paycheck to increase. That took a while because they wanted to see my increase in order to qualify with the increase. After they got that in April, we were able to close within one week. The rep was amazing and very attentive. I was impressed with his positive attitude and he's very kind and respectful. The quality of the house is on the cheaper end. They also set it for the purposes of first-time homebuyers so they can sell it cheaper. But it's a good house.

I liked that LGI was a new construction and closing cost was a lot cheaper than other homes I was looking at. However, when we showed up for closing, the notary was not aware of the appointment. We had to wait 45 minutes for her. Also, I don't think the documents were ready yet either to be signed when I showed up for closing. Also, they left my wife's name off the deed, which I expressed early on in the process. Closing was not good at all.

My home consultant was Christina. She guided me step by step, made sure that I was well-aware of the next steps, kept me updated even if there wasn't any update, and provided timely information. Her charisma and dedication to the customer impressed me. But on the lender side, they don't provide direct information on what they expect for the documents provided. Other than that, everything was pretty straightforward. The communication was pretty smooth. Within an hour of me sending out an email to them, they would call me. They would provide insight to all of the home buying terminology. It made it so pleasant and so much easier than my previous attempts with other Realtors. If it was an end of day situation, I would just message or call them, and the next day, they would have everything. Even if they didn't hear from me because I was slammed out with work, they would still reach out to me.

The reps were excellent and answered all our questions. Our agent was very informed. It was not a high-pressure situation. He took us to look at the homes and the different models multiple times, even on the same day. He was very patient, and helpful. I liked the one-stop shop. I liked the insurance and the loan. But the cost of the older homes seemed higher and for not as good quality. It was a lesser value for the money to go with an existing home.

LGI treats veterans very well. The sales rep helped us through the process very quickly. I'm satisfied. There are a few things on the construction part of it but nothing major. The prices are so high in our area though.

Our home-buying experience at LGI was good. The rep we worked with was well. There was a couple of curveballs that happened, but she kept us informed enough. This is the first house that I've ever bought and things have been well. We didn't really do a walkthrough till day of, which I thought was a little off. But we sent them all of our things that we needed to be addressed and everything was taken care of quite rapidly before we moved into the house.

It was a pleasant experience from start to finish. Very informative. The rep was a very pleasant and knowledgeable person.

I only had one issue. It was the young man from LGI Homes who helped us. He tried to push us to close in a couple of days before I had scheduled. I had to schedule it to do a close, it required my wife and I to be there. I planned everything out to include aligning the time when I don't have to be at work and my wife does not have to be at work to do things because she had to get notice. Her schedule is not as flexible as mine.

The LGI rep was very helpful. She was very honest and she was a great representative. We love the layout and the new appliances. The quality of the build of the home is good, too. I like it.

LGI is awesome. We went in just to go talk and weren't expecting to leave with buying a house. We've gone through trying to buy a house before but our credit wasn't there and we were always one step close. LGI told us they could help us. We were very doubtful and had a lot of questions. But they put our questions at ease. They explained everything and the process went smoothly. For everything that we needed to do, they were there for us and guided us. I would highly recommend LGI to anybody else who's looking to buy a new build for a home. I love the community. It's quiet, family-oriented and everyone seems friendly. The splash pad in the park is a nice thing to have in the community.

The process was straightforward. When I first talked to the LGI representative, he was so marketable for LGI. He told me about their packages and tried to encourage me. However, I never knew anything about home-buying and after buying the home, I found out I could have asked questions like why is there no receptacle on the island table or changing the paint. LGI wanted to be so cheap so they made everything white. The structure is okay but they could do more with space. The rooms are so small. But I like that the community is residential.

LGI had a better build locations than a lot of the competitors. I mainly wanted to live a little bit further away from the main city of Dallas. So, this was a good opportunity to get into it. I called in to see if I can book an appointment and they told me to come in on a Monday because they don't open on Saturdays and Sundays for stuff like that. They are open but not for selling a house for some weird reason. I went over there, checked it out, they explained to me the history and their locations, and it went all right.

We like the floor plan of the home from LGI Homes, and the area that it was in. My rep was good. They expedited the process on making sure everything went through. It was a little bit faster than we were anticipating, but everything worked out in the end. The reps from LGI were always readily available. They were working around my schedule as well. They're very flexible on responding and keeping up with anything, and always clarified anything I had questions on. They did a good job. So far, everything's been decent.

The lady that did the financing was awesome. I like the home. It's cute. I have a big backyard and I just put some concrete slabs back there. It's very private which was what I wanted. However, talking to people, they're mostly rentals out here. I didn't think that was allowed, but it was too late. The rep was good but after the sales, it was like I don't exist. I needed help because it's so steep here. She said, "I'll help you get somebody to do a concrete pad to move the dumpsters.” That never happened.

The quality of the build is up to standard, and I like it. The only comment that I have is, it would put LGI Homes on another level if they could add some community amenities, like a clubhouse where we got a gym or a swimming pool. Besides that, the reps I dealt with were Reid and Mandy, and I was 100% satisfied. I'm referring more and more customers to them.

LGI Homes was fantastic. We knew we'd have a difficult time getting the mortgage because we are independent contractors and we don't have W2s. So we had to go through the process of proving through our CPA and the IRS to show we had proof that we were a company and we had been paying taxes. That was a little bit different than when you work and get a regular paycheck.

LGI Homes is wonderful. I was attracted to the loft in my floor plan. That really sold me. Kathy, my rep, was wonderful. She made everything less stressful. She helped me through it because this is my first time buying a home. This is a goal of mine that I didn't think I was gonna be able to achieve, and she was as happy as I was to know that I was able to achieve that. I really appreciate her time, her help and her patience. As far as the build, it's outstanding. It's everything that my kids and I wanted. It's really nice. The garage is a little small for my truck. Other than that, the master bathroom is fire.

When I went over there, I was just going to look and I wasn't really going to purchase. Then, I took the tour and the numbers, as far as the mortgage, made sense so I decided to purchase. Also, I spoke to my neighbors on both sides and my neighbors are cool.

The quality is really good, and the reps were helpful. Any little detail that we found in the home that we wanted them to fix before we even purchased it, they did that. They made sure that everything was right. We came do an agreement on the financial part of it quickly too. Overall, LGI Homes was really good to work with. They got everything done that I asked them to. They are to satisfy the customer. That's for sure.

When we went to look at the new homes of LGI, I was impressed with the sales staff. He had the answers to all my questions. I felt very comfortable working with him. I never had to call to get updates. He was always calling me.

We like the location of the LGI home. We chose Lytle, Texas because we got more house for the money out in a smaller community. LGI's rep was good at first. Some of the times, when we'd ask questions, he was like, “Oh, I’d have to get back to you,” and we'd never hear back from him about that specific question. It would have been nice had he taken notes when we had talked to him, because then we had to keep asking him, and he's like, “Oh, yeah. I was supposed to get back to you.” It wasn't any big things. It was just like, “Tell me about the Homeowners Association,” and he was like, “Well, I'll have to find out about that.”

All of them at LGI were great. The quality of the build of the home is fine and I like the community too.

too. His name was Jonathan. We like everything about the home. We had little things that we had to repair. We reported it right away and they sent somebody here to fix it. With one of the cabinets, the drawers came apart. But it was mis-manufactured. They came and they replaced it right away. They also fixed the door because the body came off. The price was great and my payment plan also was good. I like it. I’m a disabled vet, so it really helps out. They detailed everything, step by step, all the information, the pros and cons of it and we're happy. I would recommend LGI at any time.

They're good people at LGI but the home is cheaply made. The flooring is already starting to come off. LGI can't do anything about the flooring 'cause it's not covered under warranty. The master shower leaks and one of the back doors leaks water when it rains which they came and addressed. The shower still leaks which they addressed again.

LGI offered us the best price. The rep also showed us multiple houses, all the houses that we liked. Working with them was good. A little bit of miscommunication here and there, but it wasn't terrible. The quality of the build of the house could use a little bit more in-depth inspection prior to buying it, but it's a solid little house. The community is fantastic too.

We chose LGI Homes because where the house was located, it was ideal for my wife and I. Also, they said that they were building a picnic area with a playground and a dog park. I hope they come through with that because that's why we bought that. However, the majority of the people are able to park in front, outside of the garage. But the parking on that does not fit cars. We’re not able to do that. We have to park inside the garage. Other than that, LGI Homes was very friendly, professional, and good. They answered all our questions.

LGI's reps were very professional and the process went smoothly. The application took a week and a half, while the closing took an hour and went pretty easy. I like my home. There were some little touches needed, and there was an oven that they had to come fix, but nothing structural-wise. It's good quality and I like the community.

The purchasing process was streamlined and simple. I’ve been in my home for about a month and a half and the home quality is good. I wish though that LGI’s rep talked about the location a little bit more prior to moving in. I was not aware before I moved in that it was a Section 8 community and there’s a high crime rate. I would have drastically changed things. Outside that, they were great to talk to. I just felt like things were hidden.
