We went with LGI Homes for the construction quality. Most of the workers have been excellent, but the head contractor, Marvin, who was supposed to do the walkthrough and be able to get the dates for closing, has been horrible. It's a new construction, so there were all these things that were supposed to be done on the checklist before I moved in and they weren’t done. LGI bumped up our move date and we said we would just close a week later. But they said they wanted to close early. So we closed early and they promised it'd be done. We're now three weeks in and they’re still not done. We finally got on the warranty portal for the homeowners and we’ve started itemizing everything one by one. The head contractor doesn’t return our calls or texts until we escalate it to his boss. Maybe Marvin has a lot on his plate or he’s just not a very good employee.

We drove out of the neighborhood and saw the sign for LGI. Then we stopped in and talked to them back in October. And we've been in this process for a while, and the office people were very receptive and have been very good to work with. Everything went very smoothly with the process, according to what we were told as far as what to expect during the process. The only thing was, we were told that the property behind us was conservation and nobody's ever built on it. And now, they're already clearing it out. But I'm not so sure that the people in the office knew that either.

There's not enough storage room, not even enough to put your towels and sheets up. We're first-time buyers, and we did not realize that before we bought the house, but it is what it is right now. We're trying to figure out how to put stuff in place that we just got to have. Other than that, it’s been an excellent experience with LGI Homes. We were pleased with the reps. They were here for us and helped us along the way.

I was using an app called Redfin to try to look for homes in my area, and LGI happened to come up. I went by and sat down with a rep after I made an appointment. She showed me the floor plans of the area and what the plans for the community were. Then she took me around the community before she showed me the house, and we ended at the house. She was super friendly the whole time. Her name is Laura, and she's super sweet.

We were searching for available homes in the area, and LGI homes came up in the search. We applied online and their customer service was good. The build of the home is pretty good as well.

I looked up affordable homes near me and LGI came up. I went on their website, and it asked if I was more interested in putting my number. Then an agent texted me, and we went on from there. It's better to get a new build than get an old house. The home buying process was pretty good and fast. We got into our house within 30 days. The quality is good. It’s worth what you’re paying. The community is nice too.

We drove by and saw the LGI Homes sign. We went in, completed the application process, and it was perfect. The rep who helped us out was good and so is the quality of the house build.

We were looking to rent an apartment, but then we saw all the new constructions while we started driving by. We saw the LGI hones, then we saw their promotions. It was moderately easy to get into a home and it took LGI a couple of weeks to get everything together for us. They were really attentive. The quality of the build of the home is so-so and I like the community it's in. I also like the interior and the design of the home. It wasn't until we moved in and started noticing more things than others. I have brought it to LGI's attention, but it's been a waiting game at the moment.

I noticed how quickly the LGI homes were getting put up here and I was able to get a good lot that I liked. So, I signed up with them and it was a pretty quick process. It was my first time buying a home and going with them made the most sense. The staff was really good and they answered a lot of questions. The first person I spoke with was named Rick and he was really helpful. Even after I bought the home, he's been keeping in contact and checking in on things. Some of the houses on my road are still being built, which I thought was going to be an issue because I work graveyard. But it's not too bad, especially considering how quickly the houses are going up. So they're not bothering me too much. Everything's very good so far and I have no complaints. Also, I would advise anyone who asks to have a conversation with LGI Homes and tell them that LGI will steer them in the right direction.

I initially saw an advertisement online for LGI and then I went in to talk to them. I continued to look at other builders but I liked LGI mainly because of their incentives. Secondary to that is the experience I had with them. The customer service was nice and the people were friendly. I primarily dealt with John and he was always professional and able to juggle quite a bit. I thought LGI was a little bit understaffed because he was showing me homes, talking to me on the phone, texting me, and dealing with other people there. So John specifically does a good job. There was another girl and even though I didn't have that much interaction with her, she was pleasant as well.

I've been looking for a home for a while now for the past four years and I liked the way LGI Homes are built when I saw them. I fell in love because I've always wanted to have my own house. This is the first time I’m owning my home and I want something new that I don't have to worry about for at least 10 years. It was a good price for a new home. It's worth it. I had good interaction and communication with the rep. I would text him and he wouldn't answer till the next day, but that's understandable. Sometimes he gets busy because he's also dealing with other people.

I asked LGI a couple of questions and I wanted to go with a new build because of all the warranties. With the older homes, you have a lot of problems with different things. I'm enjoying my new home. It has good quality. I always have these little things that you can always change, though. But it has nice carpet, the walls, and the garage floor. The garage is nice too. In an old house, when you go up the stairs, they have squeaky steps. But I have none of that. I don’t have to worry about any of that with my kids going up and down the steps. I can't hear them. So, that's a good thing.

Daryl, the rep from LGI Homes, knew exactly what we wanted, showed us what we were looking for, and made it happen. I chose LGI because the housing in the area was well-priced, and we liked how everything was built. The quality of the home has been good. There were a few minor things after we moved in, but nothing major. The neighborhood is still brand new, so there are only about three people living on my street right now. The parks and pool are coming in phase two.

I liked LGI's location and lot availability. The staff at the office at the development where we purchased the home was all excellent, helpful, friendly, and very highly rated. They knew what they were doing. I designed and built quite a few homes in the past. This is a downsize for me, but it’s been good. I was surprised by the quality of the build. We've been in the house for three weeks and I have found nothing to complain about. It's very good quality. It’s better than I’ve had expected from a mass homebuilder like LGI. I would recommend them.

Everyone was pretty good at explaining everything. It was a very welcoming experience. The LGI rep was great. I was impressed with the transparency of everything. There are a few things that have to be fixed, but they're getting taken care of. The quality of the material is pretty good. The only issue would probably be the finishings on stuff.

My folks got a home over in the villages an hour away from Orlando. It's a huge community out there. I talked to them, and they were like, "Hey, hit up one of your Realtors and see if they recommend somebody out in the Fort Pierce area.” I met Andrew, and he took me around a few homes. One of the places he took me to that was in my budget was the Celebration Pointe, which are the townhouses over here that LGI built. That kinda worked. Then I met Sean, the point of contact between me and Andrew and the LGI representative. Sean did an absolutely great job showcasing the houses and talking about the benefits of getting a property out here, especially in this area. He was really informative and very professional as well.

This was my very first home. I didn't want to have to buy a house that didn't have a warranty if something went wrong. I had a good interaction with Travis. He was great. But the home could have a fiber internet or a doorbell.

I'm a builder myself, and I should have built myself a home, but I needed to move fast. A custom home takes six to nine months to build and I have two months to move. Everything was good dealing with the rep from LGI. It was quick and easy. In terms of the quality of the build, you get what you're paying for. The amenities are here to be built, and I am very excited about them.

I went with a new build because they're around the same price, or even a little more, than an older home. I went with LGI Homes because I liked their designs better than the other builders I looked at. The reps were good, but the communication could have been better. I knew when the closing was gonna be, but my Realtor wasn't informed.

My youngest son picked out LGI Homes. He started to get it with him and his fiancée, but she broke off their engagement. So, he and I decided to get the house. It's over here in Converse because I didn't like living where I was living at in San Antonio. I felt comfortable working LGI, or I would have never accepted buying the house over here. I wanted property and a double-wide mobile home put on it. I like mine because it's on a cul-de-sac. I don't have a lot of people parking in my yard or around my house. Also, they got a nice big park for kids, and it's nice and quiet. It’s a smaller yard than I had when I was renting. But I was paying more for rent than I am now, paying for the house. Buy one.

LGI didn't build the house well. They didn't put a doorbell on the house. How are people gonna know someone is ringing your bell if there's no doorbell on the home? Also, they didn't even have the towel racks in any of the bathrooms. My brother and sister had houses, and they all came with that. LGI just slapped it up, made their money, and kept it moving. I didn't know it was like that until after we got in there. It was just a mess. It cost me extra money. I had to get the ADT guy to come and put alarm system in there, and also, he had to put a doorbell on there with the chime. I was under duress to buy the house because of my situation with my current landlord sold out. So, I had to get out right away. I didn't really have time to search for my perfect home.

I like LGI's houses, and Landon, the guy that I initially talked to, was friendly, courteous and helped me get through everything. It was great. It took me a couple of months to get into the house ‘cause I had to save up the money, but we had a good deal. I love the house. There's a park down the road as well.

We were renting a house, and we needed to move out where we were. We decided to buy a house instead of renting, and the person that attended to us at LGI Homes was really good. He was polite, kind, and always having me updated. The process didn't take too long and they helped us step by step. We've very satisfied with LGI. They use their own people to help us buy the house and the quality of the house is good.

One of my friends lives in the community, and we were looking at older builds as well, but the mortgage payments were about the same, so we decided to go with the newer home. The homebuying experience with LGI Homes was very easy, convenient, and fast. The rep was very kind and caring, and kept great communication. I was impressed with how she follows up after every step. The process from when I did the application up to when I moved in took less than 30 days. The home has great quality. The kitchen is perfect for me. It’s very roomy and modern-looking. The experience made me a first-time home buyer, so that was great.

It was not part of our plan yet to buy a house, but LGI Homes was the first company who gave us a chance to buy a house. We had a quick and smooth-sailing experience with them and the whole process took a month only. We got a very good deal as we got the house cheaper compared to other places, even the old houses are more expensive. When we asked them to fix something, they fixed it and they did everything so we can have a convenient life. I love that our home is near to my mother-in-law's place, our workplace, and stores. It's so convenient. The house is so nice, too, and I really can't comment any negative about it. I would recommend this place. We just started here and it feels like it's our permanent home.

Owning a home is a good thing because you don't want to pay other people's bills. You want to do your own equity. I bought an LGI home and the purchase experience was very easy. Terry was very thoughtful. At such a point that I was backing up because of the other lender that I was using, she was the one that called me and said it's is a good place and that I could make it. Everything is perfect with the build for somebody who's owning a home for the first time. I like the kitchen appliances and the master bedroom. I also like the area - it's a very quiet one. I feel safe here. It's just me and my mom, and the space is enough for me. I like the way they build the house as well. I advise everyone that is renting to at least purchase a home.

I decided to find a home, and the first thing I saw on YouTube was LGI Homes. I reached out, and after I entered my ZIP code and the homes I liked, I got a call from Luis, an introductory person. He was patient, knew what he was doing and a God-sent individual. He went way beyond. In the couple of times that I needed to get a legal document in, he made sure that he went with me and offered to take me there and take me back home so I could get some rest and go back. I spent the most time with him. But everyone I worked with was great. Eddie, another rep, took me to a couple of places to get things done.

The experience with LGI was good. I liked them more than the other companies ‘cause the house is a good build. It is bigger too and the price is a good rate in the area. The person that sold me the house gave give me that confidence to buy it. She is honest. She also showed us the amenities like the parks, the pools, and the workout area.

When we were looking to buy a home, we had mentioned to our realtor an LGI home because my fiancée's mother had bought an LGI home a long time ago. We went with LGI as well, and the process was a long one and a little bit tedious, but we got through it. The rep was cool. Every time we'd call them, and we bugged them a lot, they gave us answers right away and helped as much as they could.

We had went to LGI in the past to find out what they were about. Once we knew we were ready, we went back to them and we've been very happy with them. Our experience has been wonderful. They were very attentive, and they showed us that they cared. They were really there for us. This is our first time buying a home and it's a wonderful one. It's a beautiful community as well. We've already recommended LGI to our doctor.

LGI Homes was building close to the community I was already in, so I decided to work with them. Their rep was very informative and she tried to help me out as much as she could as a first-time homebuyer. It was a very easy process and there was not a lot of hidden things. The quality of the build is pretty good so far and I haven't had any issues. I love the area, which was why I moved, and LGI built the community. They built a little park and the town has a park as well.

We were just looking and LGI Homes came up with the house. It was a good deal. I got a brand-new house and the quality was good too. LGI did well in everything.

I wanted to find a nice little home in a neighborhood and found LGI Homes. I found the perfect little neighborhood and the perfect little house. The whole process was smooth and swift, and everything went swimmingly. I was impressed with how efficient and fast everything was. It took less than an hour. The rep was amazing. He knew exactly what I was looking for and he said that if they could look for what I could afford and what I could buy, they could find me a home that day. I said I would see what they got. The rep showed me the model home first, and then I asked to see the actual home. When I saw the closet and the kitchen, I knew it was my house. We moved forward that same day and put the sold sign out front a two-bedroom home.

I like the location of LGI Homes. It's close to my wife's work. Also, buying a house is a financially smart decision. When you're renting, your money's not gonna go anywhere. With having real estate property, at least, you'll own the place at some point, and you have more flexible financial decisions about it. I already have another house so I have had experience that I can compare the mortgage process with. Most of the paperwork varies from state to state. But with LGI, I felt it was a little bit more complicated.

I chose LGI Homes because I was trying to get a five-bedroom and at least a two- and a three-and-a-half bath. There were only two builders that offered that model home that I wanted. What I got is close to what I was looking for. The process with me getting approved with the mortgage company was good. I like that. And the guy who helped me did his job. I tried to get into a house quickly, and he was there to try to make things work. However, if I was given the opportunity to choose again, I wouldn't go with them. I'm not satisfied with how things are in the house. If I was given an opportunity to do my own checks, there would have been many things I would have cut. I would not even sign the papers to close for the house, because I wouldn’t have accepted a house where, when it rains, the whole backyard is moist and clumpy. That's not good for the foundations.

LGI Homes really worked with me. They helped me work through my emotions. Everything was happening, and they were amazing. Their consultants were very nice. At one point, I wasn't signing anything. I wasn't doing anything. I just quit communication. I was like, “I need to process everything happening.” They reached back out and were like, “Hey, we have another home for you.” I was concerned about the price. They were so patient with me. At the end of the day, they were right because I love the house.

LGI’s location was right next to the I-10, north of Casa Grande. We didn't really wanna be in Casa Grande but we wanted to be closer to the Phoenix area. We looked at a few models and I picked out two houses before I got this one. Ashley, my sales consultant, told me that the third home would probably be the perfect house for me. And I bought it. She was a superstar. She never gave up on me and always helped me find what was right for me. She played a big role in my decision to buy two. She is the best. The construction manager, Jordan, is a great kid. He's on it and is very communicative. He texts me, follows a schedule, and all the work orders that we put in have been done.

I didn’t know much about LGI Homes ‘cause I'm from New York so I started reading their reviews. Their website is not complicated at all. Once you log in, you could click on each type of model they have and it explains in detail. The pictures are exactly like the homes. You just make it a different angle and see it in person. Ryan Homes provides a little bit more than LGI Homes, but you have to come out of your pocket a little bit more as far as certain things that they don't provide. There was one other builder but even though the homes were a little bit more, there was something telling me to go with LGI, and I don't regret it.

I am a single female with four jobs and I needed something that I wasn't going to have to spend a whole lot of time on the maintenance of my home. So, I chose to build rather than buy an older home. I looked around quite a bit before I chose LGI, but it was the people and the process, and the fact that they are supportive of single people trying to have their own home, that made me decide to go with them. The rep was personable and kind, and you could tell that he cared. This is a passion and a calling for him and he's incredible. The only issue I had was the loan agent. But we cleared that up.

I like the idea of being the first owner of my home. I don't want any history in the house. I found LGI Homes on the internet and decided to go with them. Everybody that I dealt with was amazing. Everything was pretty spot on. Any time I had a question, they answered it. If they couldn't find me the answer, they got back to me, returned my calls in an appropriate amount of time, and they send me text messages. It was a wonderful experience. For the home that I have, I would say it's a fair price. I enjoy going to my home. The quality of the build is fantastic. I love it. I also love the new home community. It's very quiet and peaceful.
