    I work for the utility company, CPS Energy, and I'm familiar with the builders for the section that I work with, which was how I knew about LGI Homes. Dealing with the rep was very good, positive and helpful. The quality of the build has been good overall. I’ve had a few issues here and there, but nothing damaging, and LGI has been super helpful about getting those issues fixed.

    LGI helped me out and taught me some things and they had patience with me. I spoke with Brandon and I got curious about LGI because of him. I was gonna buy different homes but I went ahead and stayed with LGI. My home consultant was absolutely amazing. She helped me out and walked me through it and let me know what I need to do. The customer service is good. Brandon, Michael and Rachel walked me through the whole process and taught me through it. So I really appreciate them. The home build was beautiful. But I did find a hole right up on the roof line and they told me I needed the home warranty about this, and they came and fixed it. The community is really quiet and laid back right now. So everything's good.

    As much as I would love people to buy these homes to bring up the value of my house, I would say buy from a different builder. The homes are built ok but here at Big Sky Estates the built the homes on rock. I have lived here about 2 years and I can say I have easily removed over 20,000 rocks from my back yard. And right now I could easily go out to my backyard and get about 100 more. My son has hurt himself running around in the back and stepping on rocks, and one of my dogs have cut his foot open twice. They promised us certain amenities like a dog park when we were buying the house is phase 2 as well has tons of other buyers here. Yet no dog park. This was our first home as a newly married family and I wish we would have looked at other places more.

    We are retirees. We've owned new and preowned homes in the past and were looking to downsize. The LGI home we chose is so well designed that we know it is our "forever" home. It has all the details we were looking for: cathedral ceilings, granite counter tops, walk in shower, wood flooring, new appliances, large pantry... Devon (sales rep), Brad (builder) and Billie (loan officer) were all consummate professionals, as well as friendly and easy going. They hand walked us through the whole process and made a major transition in our life go seamlessly. They even gave us an orientation packet to the area as well as phone numbers to essential services in the area. It just made the adjustment so much easier.     Older builds have foundation issues and a bunch of other possible issues that could happen. With a newer build, I can possibly get the warranties and all the other stuff with it. The purchasing process with LGI Homes was easy. It was stressful for me just because every little dollar is accounted for, but overall, it is good. Our home consultant helped us out a lot. He kept us informed with everything. He was very transparent. He showed us all the numbers and gave us all the calculations.

    We love our new home. It's a corner lot. It's exactly what I've always wanted. The community is pretty quiet. It is very different from where we came from. We love the park. There are talks of a possible community pool. Hopefully, we'll be pushing for that later. The backyard is my favorite. We got room for days and it's pretty big.

    Older homes sometimes have issues and things that need to be fixed or repaired, and that doesn't always go unnoticed, especially by first-time homebuyers like myself. I live alone, and I wouldn't want a fixer-upper. I found a place that LGI Homes built that I was comfortable with and that I liked. It’s a newer-built home. And I was also in a bit of a time crunch in getting out of the old place. They wanted me out by a certain time. This was the best home out of the ones that I saw that seemed to meet my needs.

    The home-buying experience was a little stressful. I wanted to close about a week before it actually closed. But the waiting on the appraisal and all that financial paperwork and everything to go through, my Realtor let me know that, "Stop looking at that. Instead of closing on the 25th, looks like you're gonna be closing around the 30th or the 31st." I got a lot of phone calls that last week, prior to closing, while I was working, and it was a bit distracting for me, but it worked out. The rep I worked with did her job, and she was very professional and friendly.

    Everything looks nice and clean, in the right place. And a few minor things that perhaps need to be touched up, a little bit of paint here and the freezer door here that they are already aware of. According to the guy who's been working with me, he's coming to touch that up. Overall, the experience with LGI is nice. Granite material in the kitchen and the bathroom, granite countertops and stainless steel appliances. So far, everything I've used is great. The only thing I haven't used yet is the dishwasher.

    We were looking online about a year and a half ago to buy a home. And we ran across LGI. I researched it. I found out it's all green buildings. They have HEPA filters in the house that purify the air. I ran across them just by looking. And we looked at a place. I didn't really like the neighborhood, so we didn't go with that. We waited until they built here in Puyallup. This is where we like. When they started building here, we called right away. I got on the VIP list. I was the third one who called. We got in here and looked for a house and liked it. So, we purchased a home.

    We worked with Emmanuel. What impressed us about Emmanuel is just his knowledge, for one thing. He was very eager to help with any questions we had, any problems that we had, even after we signed. He connected us with the building manager. He was very knowledgeable and respectful. He was definitely doing the right job. I would recommend LGI.

    There were a couple of little things that we needed to be tweaked, like one of the little door hinges and then one of the steps on the carpet. And they were really fast to come and fix that. They called someone and got them over here right away. It was very nice.

    I would tell others to definitely consider LGI and give them a try. Our home is beautiful. It's very nicely built, seems to be of good quality. We even got the appliances, everything except the washer and dryer. And it has central heat and air, as well. The home is also made to be energy-efficient, and it's earth-friendly.

    LGI Home's rep was my best friend's husband, so I knew him already. It was a good experience. He didn't seem pushy, and just explained to us all the processes and how it works. He explained to us the benefits of buying compared to renting and explained everything very well. I give the build an 8 out of 10. However, we have had some issues. I might have to make another claim here soon. I had random screws come out of the garage door yesterday when it was closing. Other than that, I like all the pet stations for walking my dog, and I'm sure future sidewalks. I would recommend others to LGI Homes.

    I dealt with a very nice representative. He took my information. He offered to take me to see the actual homes. They weren't decorated homes like you normally see in developments, which I thought was interesting, because you can get a better idea of what your own belongings will look like in that home. He was a great representative for LGI Homes. He did a fabulous job. Everything seemed to be very simple. They put me in touch with everyone I need to be in touch with. I was very satisfied.

    At first, there were a few things I was concerned with, but they addressed them. Once I told them, “This, this and this,” they address the problems. It made me feel a bit better. I found my house on Valentine's Day, and I was supposed to have my closing on March 13th. But there were a few minor construction things that needed to be adjusted. Our actual development doesn't have amenities and that was one of the reasons that I liked it. I've lived in communities where I've rented, and I've never used the amenities there.

    We were living in the neighborhood that LGI was building. When they opened up their sales center, we walked in and introduced ourselves and worked with them until we got to the point of buying. There was another builder in the same neighborhood, Dream Finders. And the reason we went with LGI is that they had homes that were more in our price point.

    We worked with Sandra, and she was awesome. She was on top of it and worked well with us. She was very friendly and encouraging. Did not really make it seem like we should make one decision over another. She just let us lead that decision. Was just gracious the whole time. She became a friend of my wife and me. She was there for us emotionally, even. When we closed on the house, she came up and gave us big hugs and she even started crying a little bit. It was just cool to see that she really cared about getting us into the right home and she wasn't trying to pull one over on us at any point.

    The closing date was a little bit funky, but they worked with us and LGI did a good job of making things right when there was some miscommunication. I really appreciated that. They didn't really mention how, if we had gone with their insurance, they would have paid for it for the first year, as opposed to if we went with State Farm or some outside insurance, that it would have been on us for the first year. That wasn't made clear. I went with State Farm just because they're who I use for auto. Then, when we went in on closing day, our closing costs were wrong. But this wasn't really the fault of LGI. It was more on the mortgage side of things. But when it all came out, and we realized what happened, LGI covered the cost and made sure that we could just go through with the purchase and not have to wait. That was a pretty cool thing to do. I would recommend them.

    I was looking at new builds that met my specifications, and I really needed something that was one story and had at least a yard. Many new builds now, at least in Colorado, don't have a yard at all. They say there's the yard, but it's a place for a barbecue. LGI was able to meet those qualifications. LGI also met my price point because I got single money. I don't have double-income money.

    The home-buying process at LGI was fine as well. This is the third home that I bought. I have been through the process where I feel like I knew what to ask because I've gotten homes before. I also knew what it took to qualify for a mortgage. I applied and closed right at 30 days. Everything went very smoothly, including my lender through LGI.

    With LGI, they're more like track homes. They all look the same. But the design finish is exactly what I would have picked out anyway and it looked just like my Taylor Morrison home that I picked out. Their designers and I are on the same wavelength. The houses are good. If you're looking to buy a house you can afford, go for LGI.

    When I pulled into the subdivision of LGI, I liked the layout. I also liked the fact that the houses weren't close together. It was fine the first time I went in to look at everything. We worked with Pam and she was exceptional as far as what we were gonna do, what the steps were gonna be, and how we were gonna make it happen. She was very detailed. Once she knew my situation, I didn't feel she judged the situation. She just dealt with all that. I needed somebody to tell me, “This is what you've got to do. Don't do this. Do this.” That's what I needed, and that's what she did. So far, I like the build. They also have the park in the front. They have the clubhouse and the splash pad. I like it. I am just a little concerned because it's at the front of the subdivision, and it's not really protected. I wanna make sure that whenever the home association gets going, that we take all of that into consideration.

    I heard about LGI through a family member. She kept getting on me to come over here to see about buying a home. I came by here, and I went in. And Gerard was in there. He said, “You come to see about a house, about a home with us here, LGI?” I said, “Yes. I've just come by here to shut my cousin up. ’Cause y'all ain't gonna sell me. These people ain't fit to sell me a house.” He said, “How can you say that?” I said, “‘Cause I know my credit is not that good.”

    He said, “Let me get your information and run a credit check.” He said it was a real soft credit check, and it wouldn't affect my credit. So, he went on. He came back. He said, “What do you think your credit score is?” I said, “About a 500 or something.” He said, “You only have to have a 584 to qualify here. And yours is a 590 something.” It's a 610 now. And the process started with that. Only thing, my fiancé credit score wouldn't pop because he believes in just paying for everything. So, they had him apply for a premier secured credit card. And when he applied for that, within a couple of days, his credit score then popped. It was a 780 something.

    They told us that our part of the closing cost was $3,000. We gave them all the information that they were asking for, check stubs. And we gave them all that stuff ‘cause we were getting ready to leave on the 27th of February, going to Miami to board a ship to go on a cruise for a week. Stuff came back and it checked out good. Before I knew it, in two months, I was in the house. It was quick.

    We worked with Gene and he said, "If you come in from the rural road, I had picked up the last house on the right, at the end." It was an eggshell color, a white house, and upstairs, downstairs. I picked it out. I am 62 years old, and I never thought that I would even own a home. I just knew I would always be in apartments all of my life. But here I am.

    Marty was a great home consultant. He was honest about everything and let us know how everything was going to go before we even started and it went that way.     The home-buying experience with LGI Homes was very simple and easy. James worked with us to make sure we had our credit where it needed to be. We were impressed that he didn't act like a salesman. He acted like a normal person. The total process had taken around a month. It didn't take very long.     The people from LGI Homes were communicative. Caesar was my home consultant, and anytime I had a question, he answered. The home-buying experience was easy, and it was a 20-day process. It was the quickest house I've ever bought. The quality of the build is not bad. Just like every home, there are a few things that I see here and there. But as far as the quality, it seems nice. The insulation is good. I keep my house at 58, and my power bill is only $100. So, that's a positive. I have been in Ohio for the past five years, and the cost of houses there is a lot more expensive. So, for our LGI home being a brand-new house, the price was good. The house came with a warranty, too, and it seems good.

    We looked around and discovered that LGI Homes is a very good home builder, and they stand behind fixing whatever needs to be fixed. They were very helpful and friendly. We like their attitude about showing us around and telling us about things. And they had their inspector out there showed us how to work all the different things that they got in it, like the sprinkler system we knew nothing about. We had a very good experience with them. They worked things and managed things, and we couldn't be happier.

    We haven't got in the home, but we checked them out with other home builders, and we had our own personal inspector go out. The LGI Homes rep showed us different houses, and there was one that wasn't ready. It didn't even have the drywall done. That was the first one he showed us thinking we would like it. I kept saying, "Without the walls and this and that, the kitchen was gonna be too little." So, he showed us the other homes another day, and we chose one.

    Before the closing, I discovered that the bedrooms were too small. I couldn't even fit my furniture in the master bedroom. I called and asked if they could change it to a different home. I cried and said, "My furniture doesn't fit. I don't want to buy a new furniture." They were agreeable to switch it over to the home that had the drywall back then, and we got to look at it again. I said, "This is my home. This my forever home."

    We're happy with what we've got. We like it a lot. We don't have many problems with it. My husband was in construction for years, even had his own company at one point. We have no complaints. There are a couple of things that they have to fix for us to make us a little happier. It wasn't their fault. They have to replace the sliding glass doors. The seals had a gap in it. I called, and they said they would get back with me, and they would send out a new sliding glass door. And they fixed everything day of closing that they could fix. We didn't know about the sliding glass door until later, so that became an issue. But they promised to get it fixed. When that happens, we'll be happy as can be.

    We like the location and the community. We've been renting over there for years now. They have things going on from time to time. Also, there's not a lot of traffic, and it's not far from different little stores. We have no complaints except for the roads. They're down dirt road. They need to get some roads paved. I recommend LGI Homes to a good friend. I said, "Buy one next door to me."

    I went to one of LGI Homes' properties 15 years ago. I wasn't ready at that time. When I thought about this, I said, “You know what? Let me see what everything looks like." I was just shopping and ended up with a house. LGI Homes' rep was great. He had some constraints, but I can't fault him for that. He could only do what he could. However, it seemed things were segmented, like my salesperson who was supposed to give me my updates, but he couldn't give me an update. Someone gave him an update but they couldn’t give an update until someone gave them an update. It was all these moving parts, but nobody seemed to be on my same place at the same time. There should be more communication. I had to do a lot of calling to check on stuff rather than people reaching out to me.

    The house I ended up with sat for a while, so it had just normal settling issues with Texas. Stuff moves. Other than that, I'm satisfied so far. LGI Homes did very good on the price. I had a budget of 250, and because I wanted to go with them, I went way over my budget. That house did not work out. I then got one that was right under my budget. They did good.

    I went with LGI for convenience, an easy process in my hometown. We scheduled the appointment online. Then we went inside the next day and met with their rep, Travis. He walked us through the process of each home that we were looking at, and gave us the breakdown, the rundown of the community, which I was familiar with. Then gave us a brief explanation of the process, as in trying to see which one would fit our family. It was good. We really enjoyed working with Travis a lot. From the beginning to the end, the process took 22 days. It was quick. The house is built very nicely. And if we have complaints, they are very minor.

    LGI was building in the area I really wanted to be in that was convenient. So, I decided to purchase from them. Their rep took us around to the houses that we were looking at and we talked logistics. I put my own money down that same day. It was a pretty quick and easy process. The specific house that I got was under contract and for whatever reason, that fell through. So, it came available in March and we jumped on it right then. It was in the finish-out process. Then, the process to get in was really simple. Since I've been there, I've had some questions about my HVAC but that's just the industry that I work in. I'm under the impression that the AC unit is undersized. But other than that, when we did the final walkthrough, we marked everything off with tape. And before we closed the next day, the painters and everybody had been back to touch things up and fix what we needed fixed. So, for the most part, it was a pretty smooth process.

    I really enjoy the location of our LGI home. It's very welcoming and comfortable. There's a small kids’ park and little walking areas for dogs. But it’s a small neighborhood, so it’s okay. Also, the home turned out to be well-built with an affordable price. It doesn’t have sort of high-end conditions, which you'd expect from a home for that cost. But I’m most impressed with the insulation value of it. It's insulated very well. When I made my purchase, the process was pretty fast. Once I made the decision, the loan officer was on top of everything. Overall, my experience has been great and I've told everyone about LGI Homes.

    I like the idea of a newer build because it seemed to fit more of what we were looking for, color scheme-wise. A lot of them start white when they're newly-built, and it gives a lot more freedom. We've been able to have some more fun with figuring out decorations. Some of those things that you don't always get with someone else's house.     I would recommend going through LGI Homes because of the ease of purchase, the customer service, the quality of the home, and their warranty. Also, I liked the floor plan, lot size, and purchasing process. We toured the home. LGI Homes said, "If you like it, you just do $1,000 deposit, submit an application." The financing, the mortgage officer, and sales agent were all in-house. It was a one-stop shop where I talked to three people. We were in the house within 30 days. We had the option to be in the house at 26 days, but that was too short for me. It was right on spot because they initially told me, "We're a 30-day to key business from once you submit your application as long as you can afford the home.” I bought a house before, and it was 90 days. This was an awakening. And the interest rates were great.

    I liked their communication skills and that they were customer-focused. A lot of businesses market that they're customer- focused, but they're not. LGI Homes was very attentive. They walked us through processes that we had questions about. They went above and beyond to get answers from the HOA and push issues with the HOA. Even after we closed on the home, they still helped us figure out any kind of problems that we have.

    The build is exactly as described. It's modern, updated, open. Bedrooms are a decent size. The bathrooms are very nice, typical two-car garage. It's a nice home. It's a rural setting, but we're close to some smaller urbanized areas. There are no amenities in the neighborhood, but that will be HOA-controlled, and it's a very new neighborhood. There are only 6 sold homes out of 50 lots.

    We noticed some issues with our siding and submitted a warranty claim even though it was past the 1 year workmanship claims period. Their team (Will being my contact) spent the next couple weeks visiting with crews to assess the issues and extent of the damage. Because of their thoroughness they uncovered other issues we were not aware of and fixed all of the damages. They then replaced all of the siding on our home and fully repainted the entire home. So, we just walked in. Everybody treated us with respect and was friendly. I just love the atmosphere at LGI. So, we went with them. The rep was direct, and everything that he said he was gonna do, he did. He was knowledgeable. I had a really good experience with them. They were also direct and told me what to expect, what not to expect. Everything was perfect.

    Everything's okay with the house. Although I might have to paint my walls. The white is just not gonna stay clean long. I love the community too because everybody walks, and there are kids out here. My grandson lives with me. So, there are plenty of kids that he can play with, because the other house we had didn't have a lot of kids in the community. I've recommended LGI to others.

    We were looking into Zillow and we saw the constructions. The new construction by LGI was happening. So, we stopped by, and reviewed the numbers with them and it worked out for us. LGI offered the best rates for interest rates. They gave us all the information that we needed. They pretty much gave us a tour around the house. They showed us how to use everything, who to call if something breaks down. So, it was good. I have wished in the beginning that at least they install basic things, like gutters, so I didn't have to do it myself. But other than that, the quality is good. The community looks nice and peaceful. We're happy.

    LGI should be 100% upfront in the beginning, when customers are checking the rates, about the variable rates. For example, we were told our rate was going to be 3.99 interest rate, and they pretty much sold us on that. We signed the paperwork and then we came to realize that it was only for five years. So, we had to change it, and we ended up going through another program because we didn't want flexible interest rates. Also, they didn't offer any down payment assistance. It was just the USDA without the rate, which is a higher rate. LGI has signs outside of the community saying, "Get your house for 0%" or "0% down". But we had a different story. It wasn't unpleasant. It was just a lot of miscommunication between the builder and the broker.

    I was working with a real estate agent, and she took me to LGI. It's a good area. I was going with an autumn-type house, but then I wasn't quite sure about that, because the space was limited.     The program that LGI got going is unbelievable. There are a few changes I would make, but the incentive, the price and what you get are unbelievable. My realtor, Heath, paid for the homeowner's insurance for a year and the HOA for a quarter. He locked in a solid price on closing, so there were no surprises. It was incredible. There are only a couple of things I would change in that before I sold the house or had the customer walk through it, I would make sure it's ready to go. I would make sure there was no repairs needed, that it was absolutely pristine. When I moved in, I had to deal with the microwave not drawing air up. I had to deal with the ceiling fan. I got rid of the attic fan and did more vents in the roof. The attic fan sounds like a freight train.

    Heath should be promoted. That guy is unbelievable. They also have this guy that goes around and fixes everything, or does all the scheduling. His name is Isaac. He's incredible as well. The builder is incredible. He's got really good people working for him. I'm also a builder and I have a subdivision in Wyoming. I almost called him to see if he'd do mine, because I was really impressed. The Realtors aren't jumping up and down on the floor plans. The product's great. I'm really happy. My boys are also happy. It's a first home for my boys. We went looking for a three-bedroom because I need to stay with them quite a bit because if I'm not building, I got to have home base. It was $2,400 for a three-bedroom, and that's not going to stay that way.

    I was recently pregnant and my significant other and I were essentially house shopping, but we couldn't really find anything. It was one of those things where you look something up and you advertise things on social media. So my significant other went ahead and came across LGI Homes through a social media platform that they had some houses out in Youngtown. It was Youngtown and Casa Grande, but we live here in the valley. Working with their representatives was quite a process. There are pros and cons to everything. Their customer service was great. Every time I needed to get ahold of someone, whether it was our Realtor, the two loan officers at least reached out to us. One of them at least reached out to me that same day that I needed a question to be answered. I just needed some sort of confirmation.

    I'm not trying to be too insensitive about it because I'm pretty sure buying a house in general is a process. It takes time on both parties. So maybe the whole buying a whole house like that, generally speaking, is a long process. Where I felt like I was getting irritated was that I was always constantly being asked for the same documents. For example, me and my mom were told to give a copy of our driver's license and socials more than once. Whether it was through the portal or through an email, we sent it both ways. But that being said, being a first home buyer, it rubbed me the wrong way because that's personal information.

    I wanna make sure that it's getting sent to the right person. I feel like it would just concern anybody that anybody would ask for that information more than once when you expected to just give it out once and make sure that whoever you're giving it out to is using that information in a responsible manner. Another thing that was getting to me was the excessive amount of questions. I'm a first-time home buyer. Perhaps I don't know any better and perhaps it's a part of the process and I was just trying to get some sort of validation, but it was essentially just asking so many questions, even regarding my mom's information. I had essentially get information from her that I didn't even know regarding her HOA.

    As far as the price, it was very much phenomenal. The fact that we only put down a little over 17,000 astonished me. I thought that was cheap. I thought we for sure had to put down more than 20,000. I thought that was really cool and we didn't even pay additional for closing either. In today's economy, we wouldn't be able to find a house that we were able to put down a little bit less than 20,000. And that, I will give you LGI credit that they made that happen.

    I found LGI Homes on Google, and their experience was very good, which influenced my decision to go with them. The rep was very warm, inviting, and kind. She answered all the questions I had in depth, walked me through the processes, and gave me very good clarification. I felt very knowledgeable in what I needed to do next. I was impressed that she was responsive. Any time I had a question, she was able to get back to me or let me know who I needed to speak to.     The home is built very well so far. It’s my first house, and the house has some cracks, but I was advised that it’s just settling into the foundation. Other than that, I’m good and would recommend. The only thing I noticed is the walls are painted white. It’s ashy white, not glossy white, which may be practical for new homebuyers who may want to paint, but I haven’t painted anything yet. The community affects my commute a little, about 10 to 15 minutes further out, but I don’t blame the home builders for that. I’m hybrid, so it doesn’t bother me, and I’m closer to my husband’s job so he’s happy. There’s a tiny park in our area and a major one for the whole neighborhood. And I like that there’s an elementary school nearby and an urgent care down the street. It’s very convenient if you have children. I’m very satisfied and would recommend LGI.

    We have been looking for a home and somebody told us about LGI Homes. We went into their office and filled out paperwork, and they checked our background. One rep introduced us to another team member who helped us through the process, and when it was time to close, another representative called to let us know we were ready.     LGI did a good job with the quality of the home. It looks nice inside and out. We had it fixed up and there are a few things I may update in a couple of years. I wanna make sure that my grandkids and my son and daughter have a place to live just in case something happens to me. The community is nice, especially where I’m located. I see right onto the offices and I’m closer to the streets. I’ve done electrical, plumbing, sheetrock, tile, and remodeling work for over 30 years, so if anything happens, I can take care of it. But I’ve got the insurance on it. I took my sister’s daughter and some of my stepdaughters to meet the team so they could learn what they needed to do to get a home.

    Our sales guy was amazing and we worked with him for a little over a year before we decided to go with LGI. He listened and took very good care of us. He didn’t give up on us. We had to come up with a bunch of documents during the home-buying process, but it was very easy, and the people were great to work with. The people were very attentive to our needs and emailed us back right away. If we left a message, they called right back. They answered our questions quickly and got us through quickly. Probably 10 years ago, LGI didn’t have very good quality, but now they upped their game. It’s not just standard builder quality anymore. They’ve gotten into more quality workmanship. It’s just much better.

    I love my kitchen and the openness to the living room. I love the windows and the front door is amazing. My backyard is fenced with rail fencing and faces the water. My bedroom windows face that way too, so when I wake up in the morning, I get to look out and see it. I love my home. It’s the most beautiful. It’s safe and has everything I want and more in it. You get more for your money with LGI Homes. I’ve been trying to get my family over there to look at homes. And anybody who will listen, I’ve been telling them about it. If they can get me in a home, they can get anybody there. It’s a good opportunity, especially for a younger couple just getting married or even people who had bad credit in the past and are trying to get it cleaned up. They’ll work with you and tell you what you need to do.

    The process took a little longer, but it wasn’t LGI’s fault. We signed the paperwork on October 3rd and were supposed to close on November 7th, but because of the government shutdown, we didn’t close until December 8th. The minute the government opened back up, they got us in immediately. Everything went good. The community is just starting, and we’re probably one of the first five people to move in. The neighborhood is so different because you don’t have just one type of people. You have all kinds of people who live there, and we get to meet them. Everyone is friendly. I love the neighborhood and the area. It feels like you’re close to a big city but living in a little town environment.

He was busy with somebody, but another guy took me to see the houses. The home buying process was good, especially, with the lady for the loan company who approved me the mortgage. She did a lot of work. She was a lot patient with me because I'm not that kind of guy that know a lot of stuff on the phone and computers. I'm old school. I like to talk to people. I love the side of the home. The design is cute. I like the master bathroom, which is mine, because it’s big and has space. It separates my toilet from my shower and my bath. It has a his and her wash area. The community is peaceful and so far, the neighbors appear to be good and friendly. But there was a little bit of discrepancy that I did not like. The only external lighting that LGI provides on their structures is the front light at the garage and it is a single light. There's no light at the back and the sides of the property. And at night, it's super dark.

    My husband works near the location of LGI Homes. He drove by and saw the new build as he was going up, so we went to check it out. I liked what I saw and we ended up purchasing a home from them. The whole process was stressful and it took about a month and a half to complete. We had a few credit hiccups that we needed to address first. But the home consultant we worked with was very informative and helpful along the way. He was also approachable and easy to talk to. We also want to give high praises to our loan consultant, Rachel, who was amazing. We were very happy with her.

    As soon as we closed on the house and got in there, we wanted to change the flooring. Then, we got our own inspector and he said overall the build looked really good. It was just the things that we couldn't see underneath the flooring. So far, we like our new home and the community seems pretty quiet. There's one neighbor that plays his music a little too loud but I'm sure that'll get addressed pretty soon. Overall, working with LGI Homes has tremendously changed our lives. We were moving from an apartment to our first home together. So, it's pretty exciting.

    My wife looked LGI up. She talked to me about it and we went to see the homes they had. The homes are nice. They showed us a house that's good and in a nice neighborhood. There's a park for kids and people to walk their dogs. We're satisfied with the neighborhood. We decided to rent the house to see how everything goes. We were renting to buy. LGI's reps talked to us a lot about it and they helped us a lot with the home. We are close to about six months for our new build. The quality is good. We like it. It was a different build compared to other houses we lived in. It's nice.

    The staff was very cooperative and informative. So, we were immediately very pleased with their welcoming ways. Brad was very helpful and personable, and we felt welcomed. He was very forward and informative. We liked his answers. But there were some things that we were surprised that were not included in the construction. There were no towel racks in the bathrooms. There's no doorbell provided. There are no fans. There's one fan in the whole house, and we thought that was kind of strange. There were also no window coverings.     LGI Homes have zero down in some areas. They help with closing costs, which oftentimes is a obstacle to buying a already established home. You may have the down payment, but you may can't afford all the closing costs, especially with Realtors. So, a lot of times that was kind of what was preventing us from making that final jump. We worked with Darryl and he was always really personable. He was always very friendly. He was always very transparent. Even with certain things, he was really clear like, "Hey, yeah. This is not gonna be ready in this time. We have these options available." He didn't oversell. He didn't lie to us. Everything is still being set up right now. So, we're not really gonna know 100% how certain things are gonna settle with the subfloor and with the drywall. But it looks good to me. I like the amenities. I like the way the houses are laid out so that they're not all up in each other's business even though they are close.

    The LGI rep was cool. He was very knowledgeable and friendly, and he really worked with me. The communication was excellent. We had some kind of discrepancy as far as with LGI wanting to accept my Realtor because he didn't come in with me, even though I told them that he contacted them just the day afterwards. He really had done a lot of work. Then they came back and said that they wouldn't pay him because I just decided to come in there myself and look while he was away. So I was very disappointed about that.

    However, we were so far in the process and I really needed to find a place to stay since I'm going through a divorce. I couldn't change at the time. But if I had more time, I would have went looking somewhere else because I didn't like the decision that they wouldn't pay my Realtor. I still won't hold that against them though.

    I love the quality of the home. I love the open concept of it. I love that it's in a townhome because I didn't want the yard. I also love it being brand-new. I like new builds because no one has lived in them and I don't have to worry about any surprises. The space is enough for me. The location is perfect because I wanted to be an hour from Orlando and an hour from Tampa.

    My wife's mother is a Realtor and she set up an appointment with LGI Homes. We dealt with their rep, Jeff, who was a very chill and responsive guy. He was not pushy and he's got a lot of knowledge. LGI's price is fair for the market and area, and I bought from LGI because their closing cost was only three grand, which is very low for me. We closed on the 26th, moved in on the 27th and I have had to reach out once already. The pin that holds the overhead motor on to the rack of the garage door broke and they responded within a couple of days. There are a couple of other things that I don't care for, but I am planning on waiting before I call for the warranty. Overall, my experience was good and I would recommend LGI. I don't have any problem with them for the most part. I'm just being picky about buying a brand-new house and it not being perfect, but that's on me, not LGI.

    The LGI rep was very personable. He listened to all of my concerns. He made me feel very comfortable that he'd be able to help me with all of them. He ended up helping me with every single one of them. So, I was very impressed. I closed on the house in December 12th. So, we've been in there for a month. The door handles kind of just fell off, one of the drawers. We mentioned something when we did the walkthrough that it kind of fell off. Then he put it back on there. But then when my son went to pull it back out again, the screws fell out from the thing that holds the drawer to the actual cabinet. So, that I have to fix, too. But other than those little things, everything seems to be fine so far.

    Our agent was super polite. She explained everything in detail really well. It was just an overall happy experience. I like the new build and everything is fresh. The quality of the build is pretty decent. There are some things about the yard that I don't like. My yard is very rough.     The consultant that I dealt with was very nice. I found the house on Wednesday and closed on Friday. The home is nice. It checks off a lot of the boxes. But the attic ladder is misplaced in the laundry room and you can't use it. The door is in the way, but if you open the door to pull the ladder down, it takes two people to get it down. I've gotta have all that redone. I haven't talked to John, the superintendent, about it. But I had a contractor come over, and it took two of them to get it down without tearing the door. It's guarding it all up. It's just really bad position. Also, I'm not a fan of the fireplace brick that's stuck up in the house. It's not mortared. They said, "That's the new look." I said, "Really? Well, I don't like your look." Just look at the Lyon model in the Terrata Homes, and look at the limestone they put on the fireplace. It looks terrible.

    I didn't think I'd be able to afford a brand-new home, but with that interest rate that LGI Homes offered, it made it more practical for me. I went to the office one day and talked with the guy, and had an appointment with him with my Realtor. We came and looked at the place. He did some quick numbers for me right there in the kitchen, and I saw that I could afford it, and I loved the place, and we got started right away. From that day until closing, it was 13 days. The mortgage lady was amazing. Everything just went so easy. It was like too good to be true. It was so smooth. It was perfect. I've lived here now for a month and I absolutely love every single inch of this place so far. It's amazing. The side of the neighborhood that I'm on is very underdeveloped and not sold. So, on my street, there's only one other woman that lives here, and it's so quiet and nice. But the gym could definitely be better.

    I’ve been dealing with LGI since around 2019. The people I talked to were really nice and made everything plain and simple. They told you what you needed to do and how to do it, and they were a lot of help. I worked with three consultants. The first one was Reed. He was off the chain, very personable and motivational, and I could ask him any questions and he would answer.

    I started off getting a townhouse, but the Lord wouldn't let me do that. So I had to go find a house again. I then worked with Dana when we moved to another county, and she directed me to different places after I told her what I needed to do. I eventually ended up with Kenny in Oxford. All of them were very helpful.

    The house I have is great quality. What’s unique is the way the walls are painted. Nobody paints walls of a whole house with that design. It's tedious work and most of that painting they did is usually done on ceilings. But they did it throughout the whole house, and that takes time. I wouldn't have painted a house like that. I also really like the way the windows are framed.

    I just moved in, but I already love my community and even my neighbors.

    The sales rep and the loan rep at LGI were all good. But Rynell was top notch. He was a great spokesperson, someone who works with you through the pros and the cons and does the numbers with you. He was always open, and anytime I called, if he couldn’t answer, he would text back or reach out. Any questions that I had as far as home-buying services or options, when I got stuck with something, he was always helpful. He was way better than anybody else I dealt with, and this is my second time going through the whole process of purchasing a house.

    The house is good. I love the spaciousness of the master bedroom. I love the downstairs floor plan, with its openness and space. There’s a patio area too, and mine is screened in because of the bugs. A lot of the homes that I visited didn’t have that patio area.

    But the structures of how they’re building it could have been better. I’m big on extra space, and there’s no storage space in the garage. The garage is only fit for a car, and that’s it. There’s no walkaround. You also have to make your own closet like a linen closet. There’s no hallway closet. Overall, it was still a great, the company was still good. I would definitely recommend them.

    LGI’s incentives to move in were great. It was nice to get a lower interest rate, and it was a beautiful area. We also wanted to move to Johnstown anyway, so it ended up working out perfectly.

    The interaction with the home consultant was great. It was Colin most of the time, and he was awesome. There were a couple other team members that helped us too and all of them were great also. Everyone was really easy to work with.

    There was one little thing. I don't know if it was the builder's fault or Xfinity. When they laid the foundation, the internet cables that were underneath were crushed. They got it all fixed up, and it ended up not being a big deal. Even though it might have been a little mistake, it wasn't anything detrimental.

    We don't have a lot of people in our neighborhood quite yet, but the people that are there are great. We love the Johnstown area, and I know it's not really LGI necessarily. They're working on building a dog gym, but they're still in the middle of construction. There's not a whole lot of amenities near us. I'm excited for that though. That's something to look forward to.

    My wife and I have a baby girl on the way, so it's nice to have the extra space. There are definitely no complaints on our end.

    We were out taking a drive and the neighborhood that I used to live in, which was all woods, is now being developed. When I walked in, I was not planning to purchase a home but was just there to get more information and find out a little bit about how their process worked. The salesman was a little bit pushy and I said no to several things, but he had to do his job and I understood that. I was still comfortable with him.

    The process was very quick and simple, and the home was already built and so, it just worked out. I had a Realtor and there was not a lot of communication between my Realtor and my consultant. And from what I understand, LGI doesn't typically deal directly with Realtors because they market towards first-time home buyers who typically come in without a Realtor. So that was a bit of a challenge, and I wasn't aware. I feel like they both could have done a better job initiating communication.

    The consultant didn't have the correct information about the servicing of the loan. I know that with government loans, they're typically sold in pools and FHA is typically pooled with other Jenny loans and sold to servicing. And so, when I asked him if the originator would also service the loan, he guaranteed me yes. But I don't think he was aware.

    We had an independent inspector come out, which I found out that it's also not something that LGI deals with very often. So my independent inspector found some minor things and they did address them for the most part. There's still one major outstanding issue that they don't seem to think is major. But we're still following up with them on that.

    I got a text from LGI Homes asking if I was interested in buying a home. I set up an appointment for Saturday, but my wife was so excited about it, she had to go Friday. We went and talked to a guy who handled everything from there on out.

    We looked at three different homes. The first house they showed me was way too small, and the next one was too big. It was almost 400,000. The last house he showed us was perfect. So, we went ahead and said it’s the one we want. My credit rating was way down, but they built it back up for me. Then I got qualified and everything worked great. LGI Homes went above and beyond. The people are the best and give you the best service. Even until now, if there’s something I don't understand, all we gotta do is go to the office and they’ll help me with it.

    The house is built really nice and I like it. It’s been through rains, snow, and cold. It got down to 19 degrees, but it stayed warm inside. So, I’m not worried. I'm 100% satisfied with everything about this place. The people around the community are very nice. They all wave at you and talk to you if you stop. We live close to everything in downtown, and we're only 20 minutes away from shopping in Winston-Salem. So we're pretty well fixed. We really enjoyed everything. LGI is starting to build phase two right now.

Both of them were always available any time we had a question. They were very encouraging when we had a moment of doubt. The process was never easy, but they kept pushing us forward. It was smooth and beautiful. I love the guys and really appreciate them. Tim and Rich and the whole team in Magnolia were amazing. They said we were their favorite.

    We wanted to stay in something no one else stayed in. This is our first time stepping out and purchasing something this large, so we wanted a fresh start.     LGI seemed like the best option in the area. They were super affordable, the team was very nice and explained everything very thoroughly. When we went there, Medina, the realtor, was having some complications. She wasn't able to help us out at first. But the sales manager at the location had walked us through and helped us out. When Medina arrived, she finished up all the paperwork and explained everything since it was our first time. She was very kind and generous with stuff. Anytime we had questions, she responded immediately.

    The overall build of our home was good. We've had issues that were fixed immediately with a warranty, like the mailbox being on the wrong side of the street. It got moved over. And then the electrical in the bedroom was a little bit messed up, but someone came out and fixed it up. We haven't had any issues since.

    My daughter and son-in-law moved to Utah about eight months ago and my wife and I were considering relocating. We checked out some neighborhoods and we liked the community. There were three other builders and we stopped by all of them. We came back three months later with our Realtor and ended up buying one of LGI’s homes. At the time of closing, LGI refused to pay our Realtor for his efforts. He was willing ot negotiate down to 1% but LGI claimed a technicality regarding an earlier visit we made when we still hadn’t decided to purchase. We hadn't even decided to move here. So, that was lame. The guy put in a lot of time.

    The salesperson, Bree, was good throughout the process. She even told our Realtor that they would take care of our Realtor and that they knew we made an inquiry and visited. But the higher-ups overrode Bree. We moved into our brand-new home and shortly after, gray toilet water flooded our house. One of the plumbers left a device in one of the waste lines. We had our goods here and those got wet. It was a disaster and LGI wasn’t empathetic. The answer I got was that the construction manager would come in and take out the molding. When that happened, I said we needed a cleaning crew immediately. But my wife and I ended up cleaning most of it ourselves. This was on a Friday. He said they’d come on Monday, and I told him they needed to come that day.

    I’m not impressed with the construction team at all. The new people they put in charge are doing much better. I also had to go back and forth with the VP to get them to do the right thing and bring in a mitigation company to tear up the floor. Five weeks later, we still don’t have access to our master bedroom. And we were never offered to leave the home. There is dirt and dust everywhere as a result of fixing the repair. So, we've been pushed to the back burner big time. It's not an impressive thing.

    We live in a developing community and it's much more pleasurable to be outside the house than inside. New buyers seeking the area have stopped me on three occasions and asked what I thought. And I make sure to tell them my experience. Everything is good when LGI gets paid. But as soon as something goes awry, true colors come out. And the way we've been handled has been deplorable. Once this is fixed, we're contemplating litigation because this has been a horror show.

    When we bought the house, it was a hole in the ground. But we were very familiar with the model and the home and all the upgrades. And they did not deliver all the upgrades as promised. I told the construction manager that this is not consistent with all their other spec homes. And he said they saved some costs. So, we didn't get the country sink we were supposed to get, which my wife wanted. And we didn't get two-tone paint. So, those are just two that we know about, and we haven't gone into all other things. The other thing is the fire hazard in the house. I'm not taking this lightly. When they opened the walls to 2 feet because of the water damage, the installer of the fireplace left a cardboard box right behind the unit and plastic bottles. So, whenever we peel back anything, we're finding poor hygiene or things that are concerning to us.

    We were moving from the Stafford area, which is a 40-minute drive away and we talked to Chris, the new home salesman. We found out that the house had a Beasley address and we told him that we would cancel because it was a little far for us. He was very polite and customer-service-oriented, and he said we should come and look around. My husband agreed to do that and we went out.

    There wasn’t any pressure from Chris. He explained the product and took us to see some homes that we described that we were gonna get and we'd be interested in. When we saw the house, we were knocked off our feet. It was that nice. We told him it was a big decision for us because we’re in our season of life, and my husband and I are gonna sleep on it. We talked about it and Chris followed up with us later on that evening and thanked us for coming out.

    Chris asked us what we thought about the property, and we said we'd like to come back out again tomorrow. When we went back, we looked around again. Chris politely opened the doors for us, and we put a contract on it that same evening and signed. I love the way that LGI did everything and pulled the credit. Some of the others sent us home to do the application, and I didn't want to do all that. They ought to have an in-house person at least to tell us if they think it'll go, which was where David came in. It was smooth. And the loan officer was awesome. We closed within three weeks. The move is quite far for us, but we’ve moved in. We are putting things where they go as we move in. We love the house. It's quiet, and it’s kept. Their team out there at Emberly is on it.

    We were interested in the development, and the homebuying experience with LGI went fine. From the time I looked at the home till I closed, it took three weeks. The representative showed us the home and a couple of other homes after that. The house I got was new, finished in 2023. The walkthrough I had before we closed was with one of the building supervisors who was covering that week for the other building supervisor. That person had some familiarity, but they did not know how the geothermal worked.

    I was given sheet about the information on the geothermal system, which was a big plus to us. I had sent the contact for that an email, but he said that he had moved on to a different position already. I kept trying to get them to change the contract, so that was a little frustrating when I got in. It was difficult to get some specific information that I had wondered why it sat for two years. This might be because there are several homes here that were completed a couple of years ago. It would be better if they did a dive and made sure all the information is current for 2025 on the house.

    Overall, the quality of my home is good. I like the geothermal and the solar. The whole concept has a good feel to it. There are lots of walking trails, too. It is an excellent community, there are some good homes, and I love it here.

    Every other house my Realtor showed me turned into a bidding war, and I was tired of that. So, I chose a new-construction home from LGI Homes. The home consultant I worked with was great. Whatever scenario I had going on and any conversation I had, he interacted with his examples of what he also experienced as well. So, he made it more personal. And it made it so much easier and comfortable to trust and rely on him. The homebuying process, which took me three months, was perfect. LGU worked with me and didn't make it seem like it was impossible. They made it seem like there were steps we had to follow and they guided me. It was the same advice for other people that I talked to. Even though they weren't familiar with LGI, they said you should be able to trust them. And they did because LGI reps explained every step easily.

    Some things could be better with the quality of the build but these are very minor things that I’m not quite happy with. Overall, the build is great. I love the community. It's very quiet and peaceful, and everybody seems to respect everybody's space. The way they decorate it, you could tell they're proud homeowners.

    Although closing is still a week away, we have been very pleased with the professional and caring attitude and actions of the construction manager who was responsible for the quality construction of our home. At the end of the day buying a new home and moving is stressful and costly, but ultimately once the process is complete what you want is quality and reliability from your home builder.

    Our construction manager spent nearly 3 hours with us walking through our new home with us making sure we were well informed and that the house was in top-notch shape before we moved in. He even arrived at the home at least an hour before our appointment and carefully inspected every surface on the home and tagged any spots that needed touch-up paint, caulk, or other finishing. Kelly was complete in his explanations but also flexible in his presentation, recognizing that we were experienced homeowners. With employees like Kelly managing the construction process, I am sure that our future as an LGI homeowner will be enjoyable with no unpleasant surprises!

    LGI Homes was local to where I was already at and had a lower interest rate than what I was able to get by purchasing an older home. The consultant was adamant about selling the house to me. So, I give him credit for that. There were a couple of things that were missed, though. I have a panel and my cabinet was pushed out of its groove. I have a bush, grass and some wood chips that are right there. So, I have no pathway to get to the back of my yard to put my garbage cans away.

    Overall, the build is okay, but I would’ve done a better job on some of the visible finish work. You can see PEX coming out of the floor for the toilets, and it’s crooked and a bit sloppy. It’s small stuff, but noticeable. Also, the neighborhood has two parks for kids, but there is no pool. Ultimately, LGI got me the house, so that’s positive. The reps were friendly and communicated well.

    I bought my house in August. I met Philip and he was awesome. As a first-time homebuyer, I was scared to move forward. But he held my hand, encouraged me, told me that there was nothing to be afraid of, and if I have any questions, I should ask. He came through with his words. Everything was straightforward. I provided all that I needed to provide.

    When I moved in, they showed me around. People who were around me, including my realtor Esmeralda, were amazing. There were some minor issues that came with the house, but nothing can be 100% perfect. When I told Philip about it, he said he would come over to show me how to put in order.

    The first contractor I worked with was amazing, even when I put in orders for things that happened. I was shocked when I put an order, and within 10 minutes, Philip called and asked me if I was at home, and he came right away and showed me how to do it. Whenever I have questions, I always send Philip a text and he answers me. I’m the one who would say, “I’m working tonight. I need to sleep. On my day off, I have this day.” Then they will work with me.

    When my window was cracking, I sent a message to Philip. He told me to send a video of it, and he said it was very bad and that we would send a work order. Immediately, the contractor called me that same day. He asked when I was available, and I said that I would be the following day at 9. I was back in my house at 8:30 and they were already waiting for me outside at my parking space. I was so impressed.

    Homes are expensive now. LGI’s price is high but Philip encouraged me to lock it in. He also said that they would give back my money if I changed my mind. As soon I locked in right there in the office, the price came down. After a day, the price went up again. I had equity on the house within days. My coworkers said, “Are you sure that that’s the price?” I said, “Yes.” They said it was a good buy and it was my time to buy this home. I have been telling my friends that if they want to buy a home, LGI still have homes that are not sold yet.

    The people who are in charge of LGI know what they are doing. By putting all the first-timer through, it is very impressive. I will give them 120 over 100. The way they handled from the beginning of showing me around, to closing, even the mortgage and financing people, they have been very understanding. I was not stressed for one day. Around 17 days I was closed. When I’m at home, I feel happy and fulfilled. The house is beautiful and well-constructed. I do not have any complaint with them. They did a good job.

    I liked the homes that I looked at. They were compatible with the other builders. I love to walk and the community has a walking trail. And they also have a playground for kids, but no pool. It was the area I was looking to be in and the type of home I was looking for. I like the price too.

    The loan consultant gave me a list of things to do and I did them. I sent over all the paperwork. And I would check in every so often if he needs something from me. He assured me that he did not need anything else from me, and if he did, I would get an email and go to the web portal.     The quality has been okay. The house was sitting vacant for six month because they couldn't get a seller. There are a few things that could be improved upon. There's not enough lighting in the bathrooms and over the showers and it's pretty dark when you get into the showers. The hallway light also should should have a switch on each end of the hallway and there's only one. Other than that, it's been fine.

    The community is fine so far. It's a huge metro district community. I haven't had any problems, but I've only been in for a month.

    My wife was the one who really liked the LGI home ‘cause she felt like it was the spot. It’s the second home we’ve purchased so we’ve already been through the motions, and this one went a lot faster than my first home, so I was happy with it. It was a pretty simple process, nothing too crazy.

    It seems some things were rushed, that and aren’t the greatest like the caulking between my shower and the drywall has big gaps where moisture can get under, some things with the shower door were installed backwards. My garage door on one side droops ever so slightly because the two bolts on the brackets were not installed in the same spot as the other side and that droop causes the wheels to go out of the track. So, we’re a little disappointed with those things, and they haven’t been addressed yet because of conflicting schedules between mine and that of the technicians, but we’re trying to figure it out. And for a brand-new home, I expected it to be a little less warranty-needy. But compared to Lennar or D.R. Horton or any other track builders, LGI is better.

    I haven’t really had a lot of time to interact with my neighbors, but the community seems nice. There’s not a lot of tall trees because they’re still baby trees. But it’s a nice area, it’s very quiet, so we like it. There’s a pool, playground, and some nature trails, and I haven’t really had an opportunity to use the amenities ‘cause I’m at work, but my kids have and they like them a lot.

    LGI Homes had built a building out here, and my daughter came by and checked it out, and we found it to be a good price. Gina was a consultant and is a very nice person. She was helpful and concerned about what I was concerned about and was understanding. She's not working in the office where I purchased my home but if I have a concern, she always tells me I can reach out to her. She does very well at her job. The loan process took less than 30 days to be completed.

    The people that work at the office are very nice, but the home itself could have been done with a better job. The house was not built very well at all. The flooring and the corners are very rough. They need to be sanded down. A whole lot of thought didn't go into the houses. But they fixed the one they could fix, however for the corners, they can't do anything about that.

    I lived in the area where they were building the community, and so I kind of just drove by and wanted to look at the house and I've been looking at the floor plans of various places and just looking on Reddit. Because I owned a home but I wanted a nicer one, a newer one, I finally just drove by and was like, “Okay.’ At that point, there was a specific floor plan. I wasn't really interested in any of the other floor plans and I wasn't window shopping. I looked at enough pictures online and I wanted to physically look at it before I made my decision.

    It was a small enough community, and they only had limited numbers of the specific floor plan I wanted, and there was only one of those four plans left unsold.

    It's a four-bedroom, three-bath. I don't remember whether it's considered 2 1/2 baths or three full baths or what, but it's nice. It's upstairs-downstairs It seems to be good soundproof. The town home next to me hasn't sold yet, or I think it's sold but they haven't moved in yet, I will know hopefully in another month I can hear my neighbors. I have a corner unit so I only share that one side with someone.

    I really like the park. I have a dog, so it's nice to be able to take him to the park. And there's a community garden. I'm not much of a gardener, I don't use it, but I know a lot of the people in the neighborhood do. I think those are the two big things. It's kind of nice having small patches of grass that I don't have to do the lawn work for.

    LGI has been good at coming over and fixing after the fact. But I think most of it is because I had a very fast closing. I closed and had to be moved out of my old house within 24 hours, so we didn't have as much wiggle room between closing and the guys, the contractors, were definitely trying to get things ready for me fast and on time so I wouldn't end up in an awkward living-in-a-hotel time.

    The people here are really nice. The LGI guys who are still at the sales office, they're really nice. It's a good community and they're straightforward. They check on you throughout the process, and that's really helpful. I have recommended them to friends. Before the town home next to me sold, I was trying to get different friends to move in next to me and be like, “Come be my neighbor.

I've read reviews that weren't so great about them, but I did so much research in that specific community and had our inspector come out.     I went with LGI because it seemed to be cheaper. They just seemed like they were helping us out the most, and then they just cared. The home consultant was very nice. He was just very homey and explained a lot of things to us. This being our first home, it was really nice.

    The process took a while. It took a few months. It was mostly because we were waiting on a credit thing. But as soon as we got all of our end straight, it was a very fast-moving process.

    The home is really nice, but there are a few things that could use touch-ups. We’ve noticed that some of the aligning against the walls doesn't meet all the way, and there’s ants and spiders that crawl out and through in there. I like the location itself. It seems like a very family-oriented area.

    My experience with LGI Homes was good. I went to a new home because it was my first time buying. Every Saturday, me and my boyfriend went there and watched around and saw what’s going on. The quality of the build, some of the fixtures inside are kind of cheap. I work for Home Depot, so I know the price of everything they have in there.

    The home is finished, but I’ve been going through a little thing since I moved in because of the electrical, but they fixed that because I’ve been going back and forth. Now, the garage doesn't work at all. It doesn't go up, it doesn't go down. You have to put it up yourself with your hand. I had to put in a claim for that. They never gave me a discount or anything, no gift card.

    The price could have been a little less than I expected it to be. I didn’t expect it to be so high because they told me one price, and then it ended up higher. The sales rep called me and told me the rate is lower and this and that, and I didn’t get it for that.

    The home-buying process with LGI Homes went very smoothly. We were approved from the first visit. We had to go through the whole closing circus, which is always lengthy and convoluted, but that went pretty smoothly compared to the other experiences I've had in the past. I was impressed with the fact that when the inspection came back with a lower value on the townhome, LGI lowered the cost to purchase. I was impressed that they would do that when they didn't have to. They could have insisted on the original purchase price, but they didn't. So, it went from 409,000 to 385,000, which helped tremendously. It was wonderful.

    The home consultant was friendly and helpful. He was there and gave advice. Every time we needed an answer, he found an answer for us. The closing could have been faster. We had issues with documents and getting them uploaded to their portal. That could have been a smoother transition.

    The home is not high-quality. It was the least expensive of the units that they had available. There are some things that I would like to upgrade after we've been here a while. But I'm mostly satisfied with it. They fixed everything that we found that was an issue and they even gave us some pluses that they weren't supposed to like window screens. It wasn't supposed to be part of the build, but they put them in for us when we asked. That was nice.

    I don't know much about the new home community. We are the only people in the townhouse building we bought in. We've seen a couple of people being shown other units and one of them has a sold sign in front of them, but there's no one else here to this point. We don't have any amenities. There's Cottonwood Greens community that we're supposed to be a part of and there's also a clubhouse. But the townhomes are not part of that community, so we're not allowed to use any of those amenities.

    I was looking around for houses, and I was about to go with Lennar, but I didn’t like it. The LGI houses had bricks, and it caught my attention ‘cause I wanted something with bricks other than just a house. The whole process took about a month and whenever I had questions, the LGI people answered them. They took care of everything, and they didn’t make me wait.

    I don’t like that there’s no grass in the back, and there’s scorpions and roaches and ants, but the exterminator said it was just seasonal. Other than that, the LGI house looks better than the Lennar ones.

    I lived in Houston and was trying to find a home near Mansfield where my daughter lives. I was in the process of selling my home while buying this new one, and my consultant from LGI walked me through everything I needed step by step.     The people I worked with at LGI were amazing, especially the agent. He was understanding, and he did what he could to help us out. We’ve had a few minor issues in the home when we moved in, and we had some issues trying to get somebody out. We actually had to pay out of pocket to fix the repairs ourselves because we put a claim in, and they won’t do it. Now, we’re trying to find out how to get somebody out here to fix our alarm system, which is going off about four times a week. But the community is pretty good. We haven’t had any issues. The neighbors seem friendly. My kids walk to the school bus stop, and I’m not concerned that they’re not gonna make it.

    LGI was so awesome for me. I had spent some time looking around and trying to work with other realtors. I almost had to settle. But I didn’t feel like that’s what I wanted to do. And for the prices that they were asking for, it’s not feasible. It makes no sense.

    In the past I had a home, but I was married. This is my first time being a homeowner by myself. So I want everything to be on point, I’m just learning how to use a tool. I've been here since August 29th, and I haven't seen any issues. They immediately fixed the little things that I did run across.

    With all the prices going, it was a little bit out of my budget. But when I look at the land and the yard that I have, where my dog could run around and just enjoy, it’s fine for me.

    LGI Homes was on my way to work, 1.5 miles from where I work. We had also thought about building our own house. It was gonna be too costly, and the location of the property was gonna be too far out. So, that’s pretty much why we chose LGI. The buying process was very simple. Our sales consultant, Arnold, was a really personable guy. We kind of saw online what they offered, we directed them on what we wanted, and then we chose the house that we got.

    The quality of the build is really good. The floors are really nice, because we don’t have any rocks or grass in, whatever dirt comes into the house, you can’t really tell. The garage is nice and big, the entryway is very open, and the bedrooms are a good size. People in the community have been friendly. My wife has made friends and acquaintances nearby that she can call on for help. The LGI office is right there, so if we have any issues, they can come out and help us. It gives us peace of mind that the company is not just gonna go away.

    They’re caring people and I would trust them to build another home. We feel like the house that we live in is not just a house, but it’s our home. It's like a place that we were designed to be in.

    I was house-searching, and I went to a couple of different builders. I wanted a decent backyard, a corner lot, and bigger bedrooms. A lot of the new builds that I had gone to go see were beautiful homes. However, the square footage was not as big. The bedrooms were very important for me to be larger, and that's why I went with the property with LGI Homes.

    They showed me the house and were very patient in every way. From the numbers they gave me and when my closing date was, everything stayed pretty much where we had talked about. The whole process of buying a home can be a little stressful with the bank asking for a lot of different paperwork, but LGI Homes has been great.

    The neighborhood is very quiet, and I like it. I've been preoccupied since I've moved, and I've only been there for a month and I'm still unpacking. I haven't had time to explore much of the neighborhood yet. But I heard there's a great winery around that I wanna try.

    Hasn't been a bad experience. Kelly is very responsive and has a lot of knowledge. Bring a paper and pen for notes, he lets you know a lot of good information on house upkeep! If you ever have any questions and you reach out he will get back to you, even on vacation! He did our walk through and explained how we could set different meters up to be more functioning! We had a problem with our ceiling leaking and he came instantly to look at it to get it fixed in a timely manner. I will say if you get Jalen as a seller make sure you have all your stuff ready because he does just try to make the sale even if you're waiting on loans to finishing processing through. He was nice, but I don't feel he was too professional about the sale of the house.

    As a Realtor, I received an invitation from Kyle to attend a special Realtor Luncheon at a couple of LGI Homes’ new communities near Broadway, NC — Brayden Preserve and Boone Trail Village. Travis was my highly-informative tour guide who took me to see at least 6 of their homes so I could get a feel for the styles, layouts, and quality of materials and craftsmanship. It was apparent they aim for perfection and quality since they have 3rd-party inspectors come through their homes to mark any areas that need extra attention or repair prior to showing to potential buyers.

    They also encourage buyers to have their own inspection to ensure the home is absolutely move-in ready. All the homes have beautiful granite countertops, durable LVP flooring, carpet in the bedrooms, and stately black-toned fixtures and finishes. They offer great incentives for their buyers, such as, a 30-day close on a new construction home, and $0 money down in a lot of cases!

    Upon our return from viewing homes, Travis shifted from construction educator to road-side assistant as we discovered my SUV had a flat tire! Recruiting his colleague, David, they went to work on removing my flat and putting on my spare. (Getting my spare detached from the underside of my SUV is a difficult task in and of itself!) I’m sure this was NOT something they intended to do that day, but it sure left an imprint of sheer appreciation.     We were looking for a house in the low 300s, and LGI Homes was within that price point. We got a flyer in the mail about The Meadows in the Oxford community. So we did a little bit of research online about what kind of home builder LGI Homes is. We then went up one weekend just to go see the houses and were happy with what we found.
    The actual buying process was streamlined. It was not as difficult as I thought it would be. The fact that we could go through the builder as an option for buying the home made it a lot easier because we didn’t need to worry about necessarily hiring a real estate agent. Also, we never felt like we were forced to go one way or the other. It was like, “Hey, if you have a real estate agent, come bring them by. But if you don’t, it’s no big deal.” That kind of freedom and respect for what we were doing was something I appreciated about the experience.
    The build of the house was very solid, like it’s not going to break down in a couple of years. It’s got features like the granite countertops and vinyl plank flooring, which we really enjoyed. Even the carpet on the stairs was definitely more than adequate. Our inspector, who we hired and who was not through the builder, came by and noted a few cosmetic things. But besides that, he told us that it was a pretty nice house and that there were a few other houses he looked at that day that were even more than what our house was selling for, and they were not quite as nice. I feel like we definitely got the good end of the deal on that one.
    We like the community too because it seems like there are more than a few young families with young kids. They were building in three phases, and they were nearing the end of phase one when we bought the house. It was a good time to join because we weren’t living with the construction. We don’t have neighbors yet, but we’re excited for when people buy the houses next to us. It’s something we are looking forward to as well.
    There’s a nice playground and a park built into the community. I actually enjoy that the mailboxes are next to the park. Having them in a central location means that I don’t have to worry about our mailbox falling apart after a few years. The community is close to the freeway, but it’s not so close that you can hear the cars from where we are. The commute is nice, and the ease of access is really high because of that.

    We are definitely happy with the quality of our home, the price point, and the buying experience. If someone’s looking for an experience like the one we’ve described, it would not be a bad idea to look at LGI Homes first.

    We lost our home in Helene, so we had to do some financial adjustments and job changes to qualify for a mortgage. We also went through looking at used homes, which was just a horrible experience. Then we found LGI, and they were just like the lighthouse, we picked our home. It was almost three months to close because the lenders kept coming back needing a lot of things. They saw our documents, our income, and all our jobs. LGI just waited and allowed us to do what we needed to do, which everything just took time. They did everything that they said they were gonna do.

    Our house was brand new. It's a 3-2 three-bedroom, two-bathroom on a quarter-acre, and is not in an HOA, which was important for us. It is at a very convenient location for our family, work, and travel. There are elementary schools, and the local schools are close by. There's that beach that's right there in Hudson, SunWest, and all kinds of amenities. We are able to walk into a home that we know is insured and not gonna have problems in two months or a month after we move in. In fact, we're told to call at 11 months to have them come in and do a tour to fix anything before the one-year extensive warranty wears off.

    The LGI representatives were good. It was a little hard communicating at times. But when I went to get checked out with the house, they got me pre-approved and showed me some houses until I found one I liked.

    During the loan process, I got with one of their main loan guys and he worked with me really well. He helped me to load up all the information I needed and walked me through doing all that. I then worked with the loan officer through loanDepot and they also walked me through everything and helped me out. I really had a good experience with it.

    The home is nice. One issue that I'm having is they didn't put a big enough air conditioning unit in it, so the back bedrooms will not stay cool like the rest of the house. I'm working with them now for that issue, but everything seems to be good.

    I was a little disappointed with the appliances. I was shown pictures of one type and received a different kind of appliance. The pictures of the kitchen had the side-by-side refrigerator-freezer and I ended up with a cheap one that has the fridge-freezer up top and the refrigerator below. For an almost $400,000 house, I expected better appliances.

    I spoke with LGI and they said that I could buy my own refrigerator if I want with their incentive program through Whirlpool can you get discounted. I still haven't done and I'm frustrated over it. I shouldn't have to do that.

    I thought it was gonna be a hassle, but it actually was smoother than what I expected. We started with Joey. He was our LGI home consultant, and he was excellent. He broken down everything for us, and made it simpler.

    The loan process was the only part where we needed better communication, especially if I’m spending money like that. It went almost a week and a half without hearing anything back from LGI.

    I’m probably the loudest one on the block. I don’t have any problems with the community. It’s quiet. I haven’t met too many people yet except my next-door neighbor and the one across the street.

    My daughter and her cousins went walking around, and they came back wet. She said there was a water park back there, which I had no idea about. Everything is good right now. I have no complaints at the moment, and I hope I never do.

    Everything has been fine with LGI Homes. Going with an older home, you have demons. I don’t wanna go into nobody else where people had slept. My daughter bought a house, and it took six months to get that house to be livable because of the dog and stuff. Every house that I have bought has been brand new. With me, I had to pay some things off, so it took about 18 months. I met a Christian lady, she was a real good person, and she walked that line with us. Then, finally, I saw this LGI. It said, zero down, veterans. So we went with it, and we were able to get our home. I didn’t have any problem with LGI.

    The build is great. But it is just some things that I, as a customer, would always think should come with the house, like a doorbell and a shower where you put your towel. Those were not part of the house, but I installed those myself. I understand why the doorbell is not the same now because people have those Ring doorbells. Probably, just like everything else, the housing market changed. It’s a nice community. But I really think that they should put up a speed limit sign because they are speeding through the neighborhood. They’re on the ND 500 around here. You have kids getting buses and things of that nature. Most communities that I have lived in had the little children playing signs. Right now, I think they just should’ve put a little sign that says speed limit 25. Other than that, everything is fine.

    The only thing I’m working on now is the homeowners association. The person over the home, she likes to do everything by email, and I’m not too happy with that.

    I went for a newer build with LGI because of the updated version of a home and the utilities that come with it versus an older build. If something needs to be fixed, it can be fixed. The home-buying process was a little stressful, but towards the end, it became very easy. There was a lot to learn, especially for me being a first-time home buyer, but the process went well.

    The interaction with the representative was very good. I didn't feel like I was rushed or I didn't want to work with these people. I felt comfortable during the whole process. They made me feel they were here to help me learn more about this home. She was very honest and gave me information that I needed, especially if I wanted to add a fix. She gave me the number of who to contact with. So far, she's really good. She was really nice and very knowledgeable.

    The part I started getting a little frustrated towards the end was with the appraisal part when the person went to look at the home and we had to wait for him to do that. That was stressful. But altogether, I would say my whole experience was very great. Another improvement is if the person is getting a home loan. LGI needs to make sure the one that's processing that paper is calling and talking to them.

    There are some minor discrepancies in the home that can be fixed. The ceiling had holes in the garage area. The back sliding door is not level and it couldn't lock. My Realtor also said the water going into the pipe for the shower sounds loud. It’s supposed to sound quiet. That's the only discrepancies that I've seen in the home. I like the community because it’s peaceful, it's new, and I'm going to have some good neighbors. I also like how the HOA is. It was just right. That made me feel comfortable to make that decision.

    We found LGI Homes while searching different communities and happened to drive by and see the sign on one of the streets.

    Home consultant was great. He was very welcoming and also had a lot of information that we had not received from other places because we had gone to many communities.

    Honestly, I don’t think the materials are very good. It feels like even small things cause damage, the walls, paint, and drywall come off easily. We noticed this when we sprayed a window with Windex and let it sit for a bit to clean it. The liquid dripped down, and the paint lifted and the drywall started coming off around the outside of the window. I remember thinking, that was just Windex.

    Also, when we moved in, my son was carrying a small piece of furniture by himself and accidentally hit one of the poles on the side and automatically the stock came off quickly which surprised me, something that minor wouldn’t have caused that much damage in other homes.

    Our home-buying process with LGI Homes took a little bit of an extended period of time, but it was totally worth it. It took a lot of documentation, because they wanted to know basically everything. They made it really easy as far as taking care of the rest. Then they started moving real quick and next thing I knew, I was in the house. Arnold showed me the house. If I had any questions, he was helpful in finding out the information. When I closed, they gave me a folder with all the helpful information on re-keying my front door and warranties on my appliances, the house, and the plants out on the front. They didn’t leave anything out.

    The build of the house is good. The framing and the roofing were great. The only thing that I think would be a bad thing is the insulation, because my AC is constantly working. If I set it at 72, it will continuously run all day long, all night. However, I love the new community. I could leave my garage open all night long, and nobody would touch a thing. Working with LGI Homes is totally worth it. You get a brand-new house compared to an 80-year-old home. You have nothing to lose.

    LGI Homes has good quality work. Their houses are very well-built for the price. And for the most part, everybody was awesome to work with, especially the person at the office. Her name is Jade. She was awesome and helpful. She understood where we were coming from and helped make the process super easy. She was responsive any time we asked her a question. She was answering the phone. She had all the answers to all of our questions. And she was just nice throughout the process, checking in on us. She was cool.  Buying a house is stressful, and it was my first time, but they did a pretty good job of making us feel comfortable.

    The buying process was easy, but I just didn’t like our loan officer. She was just a little blunt and not the nicest person. We were first-time home buyers, and she was asking a lot of things, and she was asking them with no explanation of what they were. So, I didn’t know what they even were that she was asking from me. And it was taking a long time to get a response back from her on exactly what we needed. And she was setting deadlines that weren’t really possible for us, with her not answering us back. And the total process took a month. 

    The quality of the build is great. I do cabinets for a living, so I’ve dealt with a lot of new construction houses and a lot of warped walls, and just terrible quality work. So, that was the first thing when we went and looked over a house. I was checking down the walls. But their craftsmanship is good. There were minor issues that we had them fixed during our walkthrough. But it was great. And I like the community that we’re in and the amenities available in the neighborhood. We have pickleball, a soccer field, a basketball court, and a park. And I think they’re building like a splash pad.

    The person who was helping me, reviewing the homes, he was great. He was transparent, straightforward, and was able to answer all my questions. I didn't feel like I was being sold.     I went through so much when I purchased from LGI Homes and I got very disappointed with them. They told me I could get my home for one price and I didn’t. Then they told me, “Do this and do that,” and they wanted so much. They should make their word their bond. If they don't know what they're saying, they shouldn't say it. I had three different close dates before I literally got in this house. I had one guy that was working with me, then they sent him somewhere else. So, their rep Sarah ended up picking it up. It was a mess to me and I got to the point where I was in it and I wasn't even happy. Other than that, I like my home.

    I had some co-workers who bought LGI homes and they're very happy with them. So, I wanted one, too. They were easy to deal with and everything moved quickly. I saved a lot of time. It took less than a month between looking at the home and closing on it. My realtor, Medina, was very good. We looked at five homes in one day, then I told her I'd like to go back to the second home that I looked at, because it had a bigger lot and I liked the location. Then I told her that I wanted that home. At the time, I was looking for something I could move into quickly and they had a nice inventory. But the lot and location were the things that sold me on my home.

    I'm really happy with my home and everybody who comes to see it would say that it's nice. I also looked at some other homes and they were a little bit less money than I paid. But my home has a little better quality than a few others that I had seen. I live in a residential non-HOA community and I'm surrounded by great neighbors. Everybody came over and introduced themselves when I moved in and I was in shock. There are a couple of golf courses around, but I don't really play golf and my hobby is carpentry and working on older cars.

    The process of purchasing my house with LGI Homes went smoothly, with significant help from home consultant Anna; she's been fantastic through the whole process and even continues to help with some things.

    The application to closing journey took about a month, a decent pace for such a major purchase. The house's build quality has been generally satisfactory; however, I noticed some aspects that weren't up to par. Notably, I felt there was too much dust in the bathroom. Also, none of the bathrooms came with towel rails, which felt like a necessary touch at our price point. I believe these are essentials that should not be missing.

    On the bright side, they designed the cabinets cleverly so that dust was less of a worry, and this aspect of the build definitely impressed me. The location and neighborhood are excellent, though the HOA setup and fees have been a bit burdensome. I hope to sort these out shortly.

    I've already recommended LGI Homes to family, suggesting that the overall experience, minus a few hiccups, is quite positive.

    Our visit to the LGI office was pleasant. The atmosphere was welcoming and spacious, even though we weren't quite dressed for the occasion. The purchasing process was quick – we decided and completed the purchase within two weeks. Their good credit removed the need for zero down financing, and the availability of funds in their 401(k) plans made the process efficient.

    Although I wasn't deeply involved in the financial dealings and wasn't familiar with the specifics concerning the loan consultant, I can say the build quality of our home seems solid. It's reassuring that the structure is supported by extra lumber and embedded into the concrete, beneficial for storm scenarios like tornadoes in Oklahoma.

    Regarding the quality and experience with LGI Homes, I'd rate it a 5 out of 5. The customer service was great, and any inspection or check of our home was efficiently handled by LGI without additional parties, which took a load off our minds. There are no amenities yet, as the area is still under heavy development with plans to expand into a full neighborhood.

    For pricing, I'd give it a 4 out of 5. Despite it being a bit above what we initially budgeted for, LGI provided a significant discount, making the purchase much more reasonable. It's worth mentioning the unique inclusion of fencing that's typically not offered by other builders.

    Our home has a few minor imperfections, like floor issues likely from ground settling and a slightly impractical attic ladder. However, these don't significantly detract from the overall satisfaction. It's been a smooth transition into our new home and overall, we're very pleased with LGI Homes.

    When I was looking for a home, I was introduced to LGI's rep, Lisa, and I got to know her very well. She was a good asset and I liked her personality. I dealt with another rep, Rachel, who was very fluent and understanding, which made me feel more comfortable. Both of them were very informative and whatever questions I had, they were very understanding and helped me understand things more clearly.

    The process with LGI didn't take that long which took about two weeks. I was shocked how fast it moved and everything that they asked for, I tried to immediately get it for them. The home I bought is beautiful and I have no complaints. But they need to re-put a new breaker for the lights in the place where my study is. Also, I have very nice neighbors. Everybody is really quiet and stick to themselves. But the ones incharge of the trash are gouging people just to be able to do their trash. They want to charge you a dollar per box and when you're moving, you've got a lot of stuff and you're going to have a lot of boxes.

    Other than that, the person with HOA was very polite, and with the warranties for the stuff, the gentleman was very good in writing down which ones needed to be addressed. But the one for Goodman gave me a totally different sheet than the one on their website. So, I'm a little bit confused on how to set up the warranty for that. But Lisa is going to help me with that when I'm able to see her.

    I was looking for a older home because I like their style. But there's not much on the market. And the first time I put an offer in on, it fell through. We kept looking. I was not going to go to LGI Homes. I saw photos of what it looked like on the outside and it was staged photos. It wouldn't hurt to check it out. And if it looked like the photos on the outside, hopefully, I would like it. I went here and I fell in love with it.

    The reps were fantastic. However, towards the end, the communication could have been better, especially around the closing. As a working professional, being told to do the final walk-through and closing on the same day without prior notice was quite inconvenient. Despite this, getting in touch with the office was easy, and their general process was very accommodating. The representatives I worked with were generally helpful, although email was the main mode of communication for handling financial details, which was a bit of a challenge, especially as a first-time homebuyer. But when they answered, they were great. Regarding the home's build quality, I was genuinely impressed. LGI Homes utilized high-quality fixtures, notably Moen products for plumbing. One surprise was finding luxury vinyl tile used for the shower walls instead of traditional tiles, which seemed a bit of a cost-cutting choice.

    If I were to recommend LGI Homes to friends or family, I'd mention that they build homes that don't have that boxy feel common in many new constructions in Florida. Each home seems to possess its character, offering a unique aesthetic with thoughtful fixtures and lighting. The community itself is in Marion Oaks, an area that has both its ups and downs. Still, I appreciate the surrounding woods and hope further development doesn't alter the landscape too much. In terms of amenities, I haven't noticed many community perks like dog parks or splash paths, but it’s ideal for those interested in outdoor activities. There are plenty of trails and areas for ATVs and hiking, with golf nearby, adding to the allure for nature lovers.

    The closing process seemed decent, though the loan officer I first dealt with was not attentive, especially with handling emails. Eventually, things improved with a change in the personnel working on my loan, and it was smoother thereafter.

    Once in the home, I found the location to be quite good. However, the quality of the home left some room for improvement. There were a few initial issues, such as problems with the flooring before we moved in. LGI is working on fixing these concerns, including a missing vent in the restroom and garage door handles, which they mentioned are on backorder.

    The consultant I worked with was amazing. His personality made a strong impression, as he was open and made me feel like I'd known him for years. The whole home-buying process began in March when we decided to look into it. Although we initially paused, we put a deposit down by May 19th, and by June 20th, we had the keys. So, it roughly took about a month once we committed.

    Throughout, I felt very comfortable, with open communication lines to my mortgage lender, Becky, and Kaminski, always available without feeling like a bother. Whenever I had questions, Kaminski was great about addressing them. I'd simply text, and she would call back to explain everything clearly.     I went with LGI Homes for my new place, but I encountered some electrical issues about two weeks ago. The plugs in my garage didn't work, and there was a problem with the light in the backyard that I couldn't turn on. I phoned the neighbor and he told me about it. I think he put in the claim and some technicians from LGI Homes came by to address it. However, they didn't manage to fix the backyard light.

    I went with LGI Homes after our realtor recommended it. The timing worked perfectly when we sold our previous home, as the new build would be ready within a month. My experience with the home consultant was positive; they were prompt with addressing issues and Nicole, in particular, was fantastic, maintaining consistent communication about the progress of the build.

    The entire home-buying process took about two months and went smoothly. Although the home's overall quality is good, some design aspects are puzzling. For example, a floor outlet was installed in a location that's not practical for the room's layout, making it difficult to set up for comfortable use. We had to use an extension cord for our electric couch due to this oversight.

    Additionally, a section of the backyard was not graded correctly, leading rainwater to drain back toward the house, which is concerning. The gutters in the back were initially installed incorrectly, causing rainwater to drip into the patio area instead of flowing into the gutter. This issue was later fixed. There's also a stubborn glue stain on the flooring that I've tried to clean without success, which is disappointing.

    Overall, while there were some concerns with specific areas, the buying journey was satisfactory.

    LGI Homes was a recommendation from my realtor and my experience has been largely positive, starting with the appealing interest rates they offered, which were significantly lower compared to other homes I've considered. I was particularly drawn to the style of the single-family home and its location.

    Setting up everything with LGI was straightforward. Although we've faced some minor challenges, like issues with lighting, the responsiveness for repairs has been impressive. I appreciate the architectural design, especially the inclusion of an island in the kitchen, which is a standout feature for me. Plus, there's lots of natural light downstairs due to the many windows, which create a cozy atmosphere. However, I feel improvements could be made upstairs, where the windows are much smaller and make it quite dark, which detracts from the beautiful view.

    The quality of some finishes, like the paint, leaves something to be desired since it's prone to coming off with routine cleaning. Given my preference for having a lot of sunlight and minimal blinds, the window situation is something LGI might want to reconsider in future designs.

    On another note, the support for closing costs was a significant help, which I find incredibly beneficial to customers like myself. As a whole, my experience has been worthy of praise, despite a few improvements I'd recommend for future builds. Overall, I'm pleased with my decision and would give LGI Homes a solid rating due to these mostly positive experiences.

    I just got the key right now. I wanted a whole new home and I really, really like it a lot. I really like being able to have my own yard and a nice-sized kitchen and living room. It has two bedrooms, and it isn’t real huge. It is just big enough. I really like the whole thing.

    I like the house and the deal that LGI Homes gave me. The buying process was smooth and professional. Most of the transactions and processes happened when I was out of the country. I came back to sign the closing documents. Everybody was helpful. Every time I had anything that I needed to know, there were two people that were willing to answer any questions right away.

    The quality of the house is good like any normal construction structure. The community is great and quiet. Everything looks organized and clean in the community. It's a good community. Although it is under construction, it is handled professionally. It is not loud and there is no traffic of heavy equipment. I like it. I don't know any other subdivisions, but if people are going to buy a house or looking around, I would definitely recommend LGI Homes. I'm really happy with the home that I purchased.

    All homes are expensive, but I figured I could get a new one for about the same price as a house that’s 30 to 50 years old. I had no problem buying a home with LGI. Everyone I worked with was on top of everything and very responsive. The financial guy, especially, was exceptional since he took care of everything. The experience was as easy as anything I’ve ever done, and even easier than buying a car.

    I love my home. The only negative thing is it doesn’t have hand towel rings or bath towel racks in the two bathrooms. In a $341,000 home, that should have been a part of it. But as far as the community, everything looks good. It seems like a pretty nice place. I don't have any complaints.

    Becoming a homeowner is very life-changing. I’ve been in an apartment with my three-year-old and my mom crammed up. I am basically paying close to the price that I was paying for an apartment for a four-bedroom house versus a two-bedroom apartment. I heard about LGI through a Realtor, and when I went to the office, Chris helped me out a lot. He was very supportive, sending me update videos of my house every week. I was able to get my closing costs covered, and the warranties helped me out, too. Interest rates are lower and the houses are cheaper or the same price as buying an older home.

    I’m having some issues with the house. LGI didn’t install my Wi-Fi fiber line, and now I just have a wire sticking out that needs to be buried. I’m not able to install ceiling fans, the hot water heater doesn’t really get that hot, and you can feel like nails sticking up in the carpet. There were inconveniences and small minor details that were missed when building the house. Still, I do like the community. It seems quiet, nice, and I like my neighbors. Everybody’s real sweet, real clean. I don’t hear construction or anything like that. I’m able to be close to my job and still close to downtown Dallas in a desirable area.

    I received a flyer in the mail about a year ago. I read some reviews about LGI and we liked the reviews. We came by to try the process, but we weren't ready yet.

    When we decided to move forward, we chose a new build because I know we’re not old, but we’re older than we would’ve liked to be when buying a house. We wanted something that would last a long time and possibly pass on to our kids. We also like the idea of being in a new neighborhood and watching it grow.

    Our home consultant was nice, very positive and friendly when we met him. We enjoyed the initial interaction with him. Not once we started the home process, I feel like he overpromised on some things he didn’t fully understand himself.

    Our idea was to do the VA loan because my husband is a veteran so there would be no down payment, just closing costs. We knew our credit had some challenges and needed work, but he gave us full expectations. He said if it fell through, we’d move to another tier, which ended up being an FHA loan with a deposit. We weren’t fully informed about the criteria, so when it changed, we were blindsided and had to come up with $13,000 unexpectedly. But we made it work.

    Then sometimes through the process with the loan officer, she needs something. She was very good about giving us information. But the consultant, I understand he’s young, still learning and new to his role. He would call and make it sound urgent. It would stress out my husband. He’s the type who reacts right away, if someone tells him to do something, he wants to handle it immediately. I’m more the type who wants to pause and figure things out before jumping into action.

    At times, I feel like he didn’t give us the right information, which caused unnecessary panic. We had to backtrack with the loan officer and realize it wasn’t as serious as we thought. That was a little bit of frustration, but other than that, he was very friendly. He listened to what we wanted in a home and showed us a few different places.

    We needed to pay off some things before starting the approval, he helped us give some good credit information to get more prepared. When we did the actual process, a month after we met him, we were financially to get approved.

    The workmanship is great. My dad actually came in and walked through the house with us. We were able to get the keys when we started the process and inspected. He said that it was quality construction. One of my family members has been in construction for over 20 years and has a little inside knowledge, which made it helpful. They said the craftsmanship was good and felt like we had a good foundation to start off and that would last us a long time.

    One of the fears of getting new construction is you're gonna get something that looks good on the outside and then come in shortly and start having all these problems. But I feel confident we won't have those issues. They seem to feel confident in the build that we got.

    We picked this place because we wanted to be away from everything after work. When you're working, driving in traffic, you want it like you’re away from home, like in the country, sort of. It's very quiet and neat. You see kids and people outside on the weekend, and we like that the atmosphere is very laid-back and quiet, which I'm looking forward to.

    We were relocating from Colorado to South Carolina. I saw a home on Zillow and did a little digging on there and then went to the LGI website. I liked the look of the development plan. I called and set an appointment. I then went down and walked through a few houses. Taylor was the Realtor on site who walked me around.

    I didn’t want to own a house that anybody else had lived in. This is my second home and I didn’t wanna clean up anybody else's junk. The build was superior, especially with the upgrades. We're the fourth house to close in 326. I like the fact that there is no clubhouse and pool. In the neighborhood I lived in in Colorado for 27 years, I never stepped foot in the clubhouse, been in the pool, or on their tennis courts. I'm a firm believer that if you're going to offer amenities like that, you need to do it by membership. If I don't use it, I don't wanna pay for it.

    I'm 60 years old. The pickleball courts that are gonna be in this development and the cornhole stuff, I can do that stuff. But I'm not playing tennis and going to the pool. If I want to use the clubhouse for anything specific, I've got to rent it. I'm paying $1500 a year in homeowners’ dues up here and that didn't sit right with me the whole time I was here. All in all, I have recommended LGI. I told others, "If you're moving and you see LGI or Terrata Homes, look there because you're gonna get more bang for your buck, and the people are amazing.“

    The home-buying experience with LGI was very easy. Tyler was super helpful. And you advertise exactly what it is. A lot of times, they’ll advertise a house at 306, and by the time everything is finalized, it ends up being 330. But with you, the price is exactly what’s listed on the website.

    The quality seemed decent. There are a few areas where the design could have been better, but we can’t complain. Since moving in, we’ve only had to reach out for a couple of small things like drywall repairs, and a couple of spots on the wall. And that’s about it.

    I have my family living in the LGI community. So, I went with them. They've been living here for at least five years. I just moved from Florida. I got a new promotion in my work, and moved over here. I'm happy that I'm close to them. We can actually do stuff together, and the kids can play.

    The process was awesome as well. I'm super happy with the service and the attention that I received. I came in February, but my credit wasn't really good. I ended working with Atlantic Bay Company, to do the numbers. It was from March 6th, and I signed the papers on May the 30th.

    My home is perfect. Well, I just moved two days ago over here. And the air conditioner wasn't working. It was 85 degrees, and the whole house was really hot. I called the company, and the guy came over here. He's actually working on the AC right now.

    I'm super happy with the model. I bought the Ashley model and I like it. It's good for me and for my kids. I was living for 18 years in Florida without my family. So, I don't have any network in that area. My only thing is the grocery stores are far, but I can work with that.

    I have been here for 2 days. Basically, I don't know anybody here. So, I texted Jonathan to ask how I can actually request a copy or how I can access the clubhouse. The kids were asking me about the pool. We wanna go to the pool, and we don't have the swap key to get there.

    But other than that, everything is good and happy with the area.

    I do see some jobs that need to be redone in the house, like paint or terminations on the constructions like in the bathroom. But it looks good. I didn't notice that when I did the walkthrough with Brad, but it's minimal and I like it. Everything is fine.

    I know it's something more cosmetic than actually something like it needs to be done as soon as possible. But I'm gonna say that I would recommend it. They’re very professional, and knowledgeable. Everybody's cool.

    I went with LGI because of the builder incentives and the home that was available. Jared was originally the home consultant and he was okay. He was informative and he gave us the information that we needed. My realtor did the bulk of the work, but Jared was there to answer some questions. Then he dropped off.

    Keith, the construction manager, has been exceptional from beginning to end. He has been able to walk us through and be our person on boots on the ground as far as getting things addressed. He has been pleasant to interact with. As far as the LGI Mortgage Solutions, my loan officer Billy was nothing short of amazing. She was able to help me get through the mortgage process, and it was short of painless.

    The quality of the build is good. They have been Johnny-on-the-spot to fix anything that I have stated was an issue. Even there on the patio when we first came and did the walkthrough and inspection, the pillars were cracked, and they were able to replace those with no issue. I have good experience so far.

    This was my first home. The customer service with LGI was awesome. She was attentive to my needs and questions and was there to help me out. The process was straightforward and took shorter than I expected. From the time we looked at the house to closing, it took a couple weeks to a month. There were some issues with the construction, so we had to make some adjustments. I had trouble finding the HOA guidelines on the website, but I didn’t know if that was something they had on there. It’s worked out well for me so far. The only thing I’m not really psyched about is the exit at Bond Ranch. There’s a lot of traffic coming in and out, depending upon the time of the day with the train that goes through there.

    LGI Homes initially offered me a good price for a good house in a good location. However, when I received the house, I noticed several construction flaws and some problems. When I asked for a repair, they made me wait for half a day for somebody to go there and check if the repair can be done or not. They made mistakes, and it feels like they are transferring the burden of their mistakes to me. If I lose half a day just to wait for somebody to repair something, they made a mistake, who is going to pay me?

    The problem is still open. Right now I have seven problems to be reported and fixed, but I didn't report them because I don't want to go to this kind of treatment. If I have to spend three days and a half just to wait for them, it becomes equivalent to almost my monthly payment.

    LGI Homes had the home that I wanted, and the home consultant was great. My experience has been pretty good, but the quality of the build is almost great, it’s good. We’ve noticed a little bit of workmanship that isn’t the greatest, like indentations of the drywall tape and the granite they choose for the kitchen.

    That kind of sucks for having a new build home. We had addressed some things, but no one’s ever followed up. We requested that the granite be looked at before we even bought it, and they said, “Oh, we’ll get to it,” but it still never happened. Sticking to their word would be great because we thought it was gonna be fixed, but I don’t think they’re gonna fix it.

    The initial sit-down with LGI to go over information was pretty good. Chris definitely tried to help us find what fits and is close to what we're looking for. It was really helpful.

    But in terms of any walkthrough, we weren't really made aware of the three phases of the building process. This is our second time buying a house. Our other house was back in Colorado. And the builders would just ask us what day would work for the walkthroughs.

    But this one, we felt it was more like you had to know when you do your phase one versus being notified. We didn't really do a blue-taping walkthrough. The head builder just had his own blue tape. He was making his own annotations, not us making our annotations. So, that was just something that we felt was a little bit different.

    There's some warranty stuff that we could just put in, but there are things that could have been fixed before the warranty needed to be done. We questioned it and we were told in a nutshell that we're the customers so we don't really know better versus the builder.

    It’s understandable. But things happen and things can be done incorrectly. And that's why we have professionals for a reason–to come in and help address things that we might not know that are up to code.

    So far everything is fine. We haven't officially finished moving. Everything was like a slow drawn-out process. But we are in the house. We haven't gotten to work in yet in terms of testing out everything including the appliances. But there are things that we didn't see at the initial orientation walkthrough that we now found as we were starting to slowly unpack and put stuff away. But other than that, it's been pretty smooth.

    Our application process with LGI was smooth. We went to speak with Kevin. My husband and I weren’t anticipating purchasing a home then. We were just seeing what was available if we qualified. But Kevin was amazing. I was in there for an hour. I have the money, and my credit score is great. Kevin got us approved that same day, and we selected our house. He was very informative every step of the way. He called every week with pictures and updates about where we were in the process.

    Everything was great, all the way up until after we purchased the home. During the walkthrough, there were a few things that needed to be corrected. The person that did the walk-through with us just made it seem like we had nothing to worry about, and that they would have everything done for us while we were signing our paperwork.

    We've been in our house for a month, and those things have not been completed. The thing that looks like a tar on the window of the master bedroom bathroom was still there. I am not sure if it's glue from sealing the window. If I could just get to it, wipe it down, and clean it up, I would. But it's by the roof and I can't get to it. This is not something I did, and it's not our responsibility. They should have cleaned it and fixed it. I shouldn't have to pay someone to come out to get on a ladder to clean something that they were supposed to do a month ago.

    It's a brand new house, but they placed the water heater that was all dented up. The water is working, and everything is heating. But what happens if it stops working? Do these dents take away my warranty? It was a whole back and forth with them. Again, my husband had to stay on top of things and go to them. We actually left the garage door unlocked for the water heater to be changed, and it wasn't. Whoever was supposed to change it said that they did change it, but they never came to the house to change it.

    About a week ago, the guy did come out and made sure that the water heater was changed. But again, we were there for a month. These are things that they said they were going to do a long time ago. In the beginning LGI reached out to me or called me even down to the loan consultant. If there was something that they needed, they emailed me or called me. And now, it's like an I-gotta-catch-you-when-you-open type of situation. It's horrible.

    Then there was a shrub in the front that needed to be replaced. Even when we did the walk-through, the guy tagged the plant, but it was never changed. I've literally watched 12 to 15 houses be built beside me. I've watched landscaping be completed. I've watched the plant sit in front of the empty lots to be placed. And it's like, I guess they forgot they were supposed to replace mine.

    I work 45 minutes away from where I purchased my home. I work three jobs, so I'm not really available to go down to the office to fuss. And every time I think that I'm about to go down there to fuss, I end up working. Also, everything's closed on the weekends. So, my husband had reached out. The interaction was easy like in the beginning when we were doing our final walk-through to sign paperwork. They said that they were going to have to call a contractor out.

    The process of purchasing the home was absolutely remarkable. However, the follow-through afterwards is horrible. It's now like pulling teeth. They should work on their follow-up. Like if there are things that need to be completed and done, they should do that. They should keep their word, because all I have is their word. I'm keeping my end of the bargain. I'm showing up to my appointments. I'm available. I answer the phone. Whatever documents are needed, I'm sending them in. I'm doing my part. I wish that they would do theirs. We signed a contract. I feel like I shouldn't have to be searching and looking for the LGI people, or begging and pleading for them to do what I have on my paper that says that needs to be done. If I don't say anything, they will not do anything.

    But still, LGI Homes is one of the best companies. I've been trying to purchase a house for over a year. One of the companies I was with just wasn't available. They weren't taking notes when we spoke, so they kept forgetting things and kept asking me for the same things. It was so irritating. Then I came across LGI and it was easy peasy all the way through. I would recommend LGI to anyone. They did everything perfectly in the beginning. But they need improvement on the follow through.

    I've actually referred a few people to LGI. I would definitely tell people who are in the steps of buying a house to not sign the paperwork until they have completed what they say they will complete. Otherwise, it will be a headache at this point.

    LGI fit our budget and our needs. Hunter was helpful. He was aggressive as far as trying to make a sale, which I appreciated, and honest with what LGI offered, and easy to work with. I started painting the house and noticed a few little things that need touching up like caulking around trims, sanding down the walls a bit better with the Sheetrock, the trims on the floor are crooked, and the face plates on the plugs are loose. But they’re minor things that don’t really bother me, and it’s a good quality home. I like the neighborhood layout, it’s a spread out, so you’re not in everybody’s business.

    Our application at LGI Homes took about two and a half months. From the beginning when we came to see the house, we were told that the house was move-in ready, to come on Monday, and then give the earnest money. On the day when we came to give the earnest money, we were told that the house was not available, and that there had been a miscommunication from everybody here at LGI. That was very upsetting to me because they're selling houses, not lemons. We were given the impression that we were going to be writing a contract for a house that was ready to move in, and it wasn't. Then they said they were building this one, which we said we would go ahead and put our names on it, and do a contract on it.

    The lender was good. She was available whenever we needed her. However, we had a few issues during the building of the house. Somebody had urinated in the shower pan, and it was left there for so long. I told the people at the office and nobody would do anything about it. I am upset because there was a crack in one of the cabinets they were installing. I let the office manager and the construction manager know, and they just patched the crack up. Now, the crack shows on the cabinet. We bought a $450,000 brand-new house, and they didn't even replace that cabinet.

    I love the layout of my house. I do like that they gave incentives which helped us choose a house from LGI versus maybe a used home. But, when it came to certain things of the contract from the beginning, it was a bad taste in my mouth.

    I’ve known about LGI for years. We actually considered buying a house back in 2021, but I changed my mind at the time. Now, we’re back in the same area we looked at before.

    The application process was good and smooth. You needed some information, and I made sure to provide it. When I actually sat down with the agent, the process took about 10 minutes.

    Our sales consultant was awesome. I’d say she’s truly the face of LGI Homes. A few weeks later, I found out during a company meeting that she was the number one selling agent in the area and even in Georgia. From what I understand, she’s only been with the company for about two years, she doesn’t have as much experience as others who’ve been there five years or more.

    I specifically chose that location because of my kids' school, it’s right across the street, which was very important to us. We were renting a three-bedroom home before, and one of my kids didn’t even have their own room, so we needed more space. That was the other big reason for the move.

    Everything has been great. I really haven’t experienced any negatives. The only issue would be with a few neighbors, but that’s not something I can fault LGI for, it’s not your responsibility.

    I chose LGI Homes over other home builders because of its good service and good quality. The process was in the time that we expected. Actually, everything was good. As far as the representative's knowledge and expertise, I feel really comfortable with this as well. The process took three weeks the time was in the window that was expected. So I think that was good. There are some details that I just sent an email saying I just posted on the LGI website. They fixed it. Just a few complaints, but I know it's not really something that has big issues. They set it up at the time that we agreed. We don't have a community, we don't have an HOA, a neighborhood right there. At least close to this area. I used to drive a little bit shorter, but now I have to drive almost 30 minutes longer. But we're okay with that.

    We have to buy the dryer and the washing machine because the home came without them. So this is the one thing that I just asked them at the beginning. And the refrigerator is not of good quality compared with the rest of the house. I think with a little money, you can get a beautiful kitchen. Not this one. Because this one's pretty old compared with the house quality. It's simple, but they can improve.

    LGI’s sales consultant was great. The lender was great. But the after-sales and getting things taken care of have been a nightmare. And LGI has been awful.

    When we did our walkthrough, they told us that if we want to do a warranty claim, we just need to do one claim and put all our issues in. And so, we did that. And then they came out, fixed one issue, and addressed nothing else we did. We went back and forth without any response. We’ve asked how deep our well is, and we didn't get an answer. Because we have a bunch of sediment coming through. We get no water pressure in our shower. But our sinks work fine. And they told us it’s just sand buildup. And they’re unwilling to do anything else. So, it’s just been bad service after the fact.

    They should follow up with their people who spend hundreds of thousands of dollars on their houses that are supposed to be brand-new, but are built shittily. The trim is not touching the ground throughout a lot of the house. There’s just exposed concrete in my garage. My garage line doesn’t match the line on my driveway. There’s a nail sticking out at the end of my driveway. You can still see the 2x4 or the plywood that separates my driveway from my garage. It’s lower-end. And it’s cheap and thrown together. The appliances are also terrible.

    We got a new LGI home and the home consultant who walked us through was good. I felt very comfortable with the walk through. There are a few things that we want to be looked at. The sink is stained and the sliding glass door doesn’t open properly. We’re waiting for John to come by and go over these things with us. And based on my experience, there were a lot of things that I saw a week after that needed to get done in the house that I didn't see in one day. The construction guy could see that, but not me, because my eyes are not trained.

    The experience was great with LGI. They've been super polite and responsive when I've had questions and concerns. And the whole process went very smoothly.

    The agent who worked with me, Darrell, went above and beyond to help me get into this home that we purchased. I had some issues with my credit, and he was able to connect me with contacts that he had who were able to help me get that stuff taken care of.

    It's our first home. My wife and I are in our twenties, both fairly young for homeowners, and we just wanted to make sure that everything was under warranty. So, we wouldn't have to worry about having to make any big repairs since we're still getting our financial footing.

    As far as the build quality, I don't have any complaints. It's nothing luxurious or fancy. We lived in a double-wide manufactured home before this. So compared to the quality of that, this is great. We haven't had any issues.

    We decided on a new build as it fit the bill and it was the most economical for the most square footage. I am out in BFE and I got something I can afford. We sold our condo and put 150 from that on this house. And then we pulled 150 out of our investments so we had a $300,000 down. Our mortgage is $174,000. We needed to get it done because I would not have qualified by myself because we’re both on Social Security.

    The people lending would have thought it was difficult and I would have pulled another $100,000 out of investments and paid that. But I preferred not to because we don’t know how old we’re gonna live and what kind of problems we might have.

    The consultant worked with my realtor. They offered $1,000 down to hold the house up to three months and that was a good deal for me. They were willing to put it under contract and a lot of places aren’t. So that was a wonderful plus that they could do that.

    They’ve also been very accommodating. My husband had to have heart surgery on the day of our signing. They came down to the hospital and we signed everything there. We got it done before he went into surgery. They bent over backwards for us and everything went wonderful.

    Then I had my daughter and my son-in-law do the walkthrough. They found some things which were immediately addressed. After I moved in, I found a thing or two but nothing big. I put in a work order in the system, which I love. The very nexy day, I heard from Ethan, the maintenance guy, and he was on it. All in all, I love LGI. They’re doing a wonderful job.

    I chose LGI because of the setting. They told me they had what I was looking for, and they had everything that I expected. I also chose them because my yard was the biggest one out of all the homes, and that’s always what I wanted, especially for my kids. And the consultant who assisted me was great.

    LGI Homes was the only one available in our area. We drove by and they were accommodating. They showed us the models of the available houses that they have and they discussed the price, all the options and the advantages and disadvantages of each house. They answered questions even through emails or text messages. But when they send links where we need to upload the documents, it doesn’t really open through phones. We need to use laptops.

    We got moved in after one and a half months which I think should be less time. I had my own inspector and we’ve seen just a few things that needs to be repaired which LGI Homes did address. They also have a playground and its own water filtration system. I would recommend LGI.

    I was shopping around here and there, and I think the mortgage rate LGI gave me was something I just wasn't getting at my other place. Plus, the best thing is that they don’t have an HOA. Everything about the experience was good and quick. It was pretty easy and I actually got my house within a month.

    The representatives were really helpful and provided all the information so everything went smoothly. I was even having an issue on my side, but the guy I met was great and forwarded all the paperwork to his boss to help out. It’s been good since I've settled in. I saw they’re doing the hose thing for the grass today, so I think they’re gonna do the grass pretty soon.

    I still rate my experience 5 stars, though their website is not friendly with the iPhone. Some documents were online and some were at the location, but not being able to use Apple stuff takes extra time since you have to sit at a computer or go to the library. But I would recommend LGI. In fact, I have already told colleagues at my workplace to go over there and that houses are still opening.

    The location of the house from LGI Homes met my needs. The application to closing process was six months. They had others that were available sooner, but the lot I chose was longer down the road. This is my first vinyl siding home. I like the garage since I didn't have one before. I'm not going to say it's outstanding, but it's not the worst thing either. I would rate it as average.
