My Kenmore refrigerator works fine and I've had it for years (7) so far. No problem with either cooling or freezing. My indoor water and ice maker work really well. They stand up to a lot of hard use. Kids, friends, husband, and me all use it. It had been durable. Easy to change the filters also. I'm happy with the fridge. We also got a really good deal on it as Sears had a sale. I would recommend it to anyone.

The Kenmore refrigerator I had was an upper freezer/lower refrigerator model that actually ran for close to 15 years before I had to replace the unit. It never broke down but it never had the extra amenities like Ice Maker. It was the only refrigerator I owned that never experienced zonal freezing, where items in the back of the fridge will freeze. Overall a steady workhorse unit.

I know I had one many years ago and don't recall ever having any problems with it. I don't remember how many cubic feet (size) or the model (top freezer, side by side, bottom freezer, etc) of it. I don't even remember what color it was.

This is a great refrigerator. I have only bought Kenmores because they last for years, rarely if ever need any maintenance, are attractive and function well. They are one of the few brands that offer refrigerators in the colors I like as well.

It's your pretty basic fridge, no bells and whistles such as ice makers. But in the 8 years or so I've had it, there have rarely been any problems that needed addressing. It does the job well and doesn't affect my electric bill in a noticeable way. And on those occasions of power outages, it manages to keep things cool/cold until the situation is sorted, so I don't have to clean it out and start over.

Honestly very reliable. Always ran well. Never had a problem with any of my Kenmore products. I had both a washer and dryer and also a fridge. I would recommend to anyone looking for a new appliance. Even used Kenmore brand stands strong. I think everyone in my family has or has had a Kenmore appliance at some point.

All the Kenmore appliances that we've owned, especially the refrigerator, have lasted long past the usual life expectancy of appliances. I think we had the refrigerator about 25 years with only 1 or 2 service calls. Our Kenmore clothes dryer is nearing 20 years and still works great!.

The first Kenmore our family had lasted over 60 years. Though it was small by modern standards it never had a maintenance problem and spent the last 40 years as the basement fridge for beer and excess food.

I always had very clean clothes and dishes. Food stayed cold and my freezer had plenty room and food stayed frozen. I would recommend Kenmore to everyone!! These appliances have been around for years and I do not know of any family and friends that had any problems.

I've had my Kenmore refrigerator for over 15 years and I've never had one issue. It is very efficient in keeping all my food and beverages cold. It also has two crispers, one humidity controlled to keep all of my fruit and vegetable fresh. And I love the top drawer to keep my deli meats and cheeses.

Purchased a Kenmore bottom-freezer refrigerator (Model 596.6931...) (19 cu ft) about 2 weeks ago. Functionally and space-wise, it is very good. But it is the noisiest refrigerator we have ever been around. About half the time when it is running, it makes popping and crackling noises - almost like it is making popcorn. We thought this might be a "start-up" thing as described in the manual, but it is still continuing. If you expect to have this refrigerator in an area that you use frequently (like a kitchen), do NOT buy this model. It might be fine in a basement or garage, but not in your living space. Much too noisy for a normal household kitchen.

I am now using a Kenmore refrigerator. It is a side by side model. I have had it for a few years and have not had any issues. I love how I can control the temperature with a slight tap and it works quickly. The only problem I have had is with the shelves inside the refrigerator. The shelves break and crack so easily. I hate that I had to replace them so soon. They should have lasted longer without cracking. Why should I have to replace them so soon. I expected them to last longer than a few years. I am displeased with the shelves.

I have owned a couple of Kenmore refrigerators in my life and was very happy with the performance and design of both of them. The refrigerator before my current kitchen refrigerator was a Kenmore and a very good one. It lasted for 15 years and functionally could've lasted a few more years I am sure, but we just wanted an upgrade and the appearance of the old one was getting pretty battered. I never had any problems with my Kenmore and probably would have gotten another one except my friend was able to get me a fantastic deal on another brand.

It was alright but didn't last long. When it was within the confines of our house it had great space to hold ample amounts of food, but over time the capacity got shorter as the demand got longer and I ultimately didn't think that it had enough for the long haul. It served its purpose for a good while, but we upgraded to Haier, and we love it.

It looks great, regulates template properly, easy to clean. There is not a lot of frost build up so the freezer holds food great. I have had mine for 6 years and would recommend it to anyone. Easy to move if needed.

My Kenmore fridge last my family for very many years, and especially long considering the fact that there were 4 kids under the age of 5 running around. The finish got worn and the handle broke a lot sooner than I'd have hoped... And the stripping on the door broke off, as well, but all in all, it was a well-made product and I'd definitely consider buying Kenmore again.

I love my Kenmore refrigerator!! It has all the room I need to store enough food and drinks for a family of four. It keeps my food cold and fresh and the freezer has just as much room to store what I need it to and keeps everything nice and frozen. The built in ice maker is also wonderful, it saves me room in the freezer from having to use ice trays and you always have ice for when you might need it. I don't really use the built in water dispenser because I prefer bottled water, but it can also be convenient to have. Overall I would recommend any model Kenmore refrigerator to anyone that is in the market for a new one. They are a great product and built to last.

My experiences with the Kenmore refrigerator was nothing but great. It has great shelf space. It also has wonderful freeze capacity and keep my frozen food frozen. It was easy to keep clean with the removable shelves. I recommend it to anyone, it is very durable and long lasting.

I purchased a refrigerator from Sears in 2013, everything seemed fine until the we noticed that the ice maker was beginning to jam regularly. I finally called to get a repair technician out to address the issue. We were still covered under our warranty so there were not costs incurred. Upon the completion of the repair I asked the technician what would happen if the problem persists. I know that our warranty would soon be expiring and was unsure if a renewal would be necessary. The technician informed me that if the same problem persists that Sears would cover the re-repair for one year.

So far so good but my parents used Kenmore, so I learned from them. Some problems come and they get fixed up and start working right away. There's nothing much more to say about this product but durable. Sometimes good-looking, the quality is good. I love the different features if needed and I would definitely buy another.

It's been more than 10 years since we've had a Kenmore refrigerator. It was not "energy smart", but otherwise worked fine for our family. We had trouble with Sears in the delivery, however, which was quite unsatisfactory. So the next time we needed a refrigerator we did not go to Sears and instead got a Whirlpool which was the same model as a Kenmore.

I had it some time ago, but I don't think I had any major problems with it. I replaced it just to upgrade my kitchen. At that time I think the fridge was still working fine. But we really needed a bigger one and decided to get a side-by-side with a bigger freezer. That was about four years ago. We had to sell the house due to a family situation. We moved into a house owned by my mother which already had an adequate refrigerator which is not a Kenmore. But if we do need another one, I will definitely look into getting another Kenmore. I believe they are well-built, they seem to not to require much repairs and they definitely last a long time.

Poor Ice Maker performance on our Kenmore model 106.5113 Refrigerator (Purchased April 21st, 2015). We are dissatisfied with the quantity of ice our new Kenmore refrigerator produces. We called Sears for a repair technician to come out and look at the unit. The technician explained the Sears no longer offers a repair service for these units and he was a third party contractor. He couldn't find anything wrong with the unit and said the new unit is not as good as the old ones. He suggested the accelerator option to force the refrigerator to make ice faster. I told him we tried that and even in accelerator mode, it only fills about one-half of the ice bin in twenty-four hours. We usually do without ice about midday.

I did not experience any problems with the appliance!

My experience with a Kenmore refrigerator was very good. My food was never too cold or even warm. The temperature setting was perfect. Very easy to keep clean. Plus, it makes my kitchen look great as well with how nice they look, inside and outside.

It came with the house. I've had several Kenmores before this one and they always have the same problem. The ice maker freezes up at least once a week and needs to be taken apart, fixed and put back. If we can put people into space I now understand why Kenmore can't make an ice maker that works properly. I had an LG that had a wonderful ice maker but it won't fit into the fridge space in this home.

It has some issues with the ice maker - but overall satisfied. It is a side by side - and I do like that and it runs quite well. Also, some of the shelves in the freezer are pulling out of the wall.

We purchased a Kenmore Elite 30CF bottom freezer refrigerator in October 2014. We thought we were buying top of the line for many years of peace of mind. By March that refrigerator had so many problems and 6 repairs. Kenmore agreed to send a replacement in April 2015. It is now September 2015 and the second replacement refrigerator has had 4 repairs. Kenmore will not even offer an extended warranty to stand behind their product and my $3,000.

Has always worked well and never had any problems. Have owned this appliance for about 9 years. The only issue I have with it is the stainless exterior is very hard to keep clean.

I honestly love my fridge. It's large, roomy and keeps everything inside it nice and cool. I love how the bottom chamber opens and forms more space. I like that the freezer is on the bottom, as opposed to the top and that it isn't one of those side loading type ones. I also like that water dispenser.

I loved the style and color, it was a perfect fit in my kitchen. It also was very functional as I had enough room inside to store all of my food and beverages. I also loved it kept my fruit and vegetables fresh and was perfect temperature for my freezer foods. It froze my foods but did not over freeze them in which no freezer burn. Very easy to keep clean as I have three kids and a husband. The different compartments made it helpful to keep different foods separated and plenty of room for taller items, milk, soda etc.

This is truly the last product I will ever purchase from Sears. We bought this fairly nice stainless steel French door unit. Now less than a year old - the noise it makes, the doors aren't set properly - if they shut. The door handles have to be re-tightened every 2 months. The engineering design of the unit is very BAD. You can't pull out the salad drawer without both doors being open. This is the craziest of craziest unit/refrigerator I've ever owned. Unfortunately I am almost embarrassed to have friends come over because of the sounds it makes.

I have a double-door Kenmore refrigerator, which is very good. Nice cooling system with good defrost. It has enough space for storage of items. It has adjustable shelvings. High energy saving, efficient, appearance. It has adjustable storage.

Do NOT buy a Kenmore Elite refrigerator from Sears. We purchased one in 2011. It broke down in September due to a failure of the refrigerant system, but Sears has been unwilling and unable to repair it. They stalled us, made us wait weeks for repairs, lied to us and finally tricked us into believing our warranty was not with them. They told us the warranty was with the manufacturer, LG. This, we found out, was a lie.

We have a large family so splurged and spent worth of $3,000 for a new Kenmore Elite Refrigerator (model 795.72092.310). It was the largest fridge offered by Kenmore at the time. The interior is made entirely of plastic and has been cracking and breaking since almost new. I just spent over $100 for new door shelves - after patching and repairing the old ones for a year. The bottom shelf is cracked in half and the crisper drawers will no longer close without a fight. The sliding shelf in the freezer pops off the track all of the time - just enough to hold the door open but not enough to trip the DOOR OPEN alarm. We regularly get up in the AM to a melted freezer of food that has set just slightly open all night. I am looking for the original receipt but the fridge was purchased on my Sears credit card so purchase date should not be in dispute.

We purchased a French Door/Bottom Freezer Kenmore refrigerator in 2013. We have had four service calls already, purchased our second service agreement. Now the freezer door handle has broken off and the plastic around the freezer door is badly chipped and unsightly. Clearly the materials used to manufacture this refrigerator are very cheap - not what I would expect for a Sears appliance. We will never buy another Sears appliance again.

With my Kenmore I enjoy the space provided for storing enough food for myself for a month or even a month and a half, but it also ensures my food is kept perfectly chilled or the freezer part ensures that my meats and frozen foods stay cold and frozen. Within minutes of putting a food item into the fridge or freezer and the Kenmore appliance cools the item easily. I would recommend this appliance brand because the one I have also has been with me for a very long time and still looks to be with me for years to come.

I just recently purchased my second Kenmore refrigerator (Kenmore 26 cu. ft. Side - by - Side refrigerator) and I have to say I'm quite pleased. I was nervous after reading other reviews about the noise factor, but I've found that it doesn't really bother me. All in all, I'm very pleased with my purchase!

I remodeled my kitchen (March 2015) and wanted to have reliable appliances that had nice features and looked nice. I purchased a Refrigerator (4674033), stove (2275233), dishwasher (2212773) and over the range microwave (2280333). $6000 worth of appliances... So far the dishwasher had a defect in the basin that leaked and destroyed my new floor. The Refrigerator frosted over and was out of commission for 2 weeks waiting for a new circuit board for a known issue. And now the gasket on the door to my stove is peeling off. These appliances were supposed to be top of the line Kenmore Elite. They have been nothing but a headache and who knows what is in store in the future.

I have a Side by Side Kenmore refrigerator. It is equipped with icemaker and water dispenser. I have had it for approx 10 years and can honestly say I have had very little trouble with it. There are four shelves on fridge side, 2 large bins and one small one, four shelves on the fridge door, two shelves in the freezer side with two baskets, three small shelves on freezer door. I am very satisfied with it and when it comes time to buy another one it will be Kenmore.

One of the biggest pieces of junk that I have ever seen. There was something constantly wrong with it. I gave it to the repairman and told him he could have it and to feel free to sell it if he could fix it.

Fridge did the job that it was supposed to do. Our food was kept cold until we wanted to use it, many times for a week. All of our drinks were kept very cold. We had no leakage from under the fridge which was the main problem with our old one. This fridge blends in well with the decor of our kitchen. We also have a small freezer on the top which keeps everything frozen forever. Neither the fridge or freezer need to be cleaned out very often. I just like my fridge.

We bought a Kenmore to go in our new home. It's a white fridge with a freezer on the top. It has an ice maker which we have never had a problem with. I love this fridge. It's very roomy and has spill proof shelves. It's so easy to clean and keep organized. There are 3 drawers on the inside. One I use for small packages of stuff (cheese, pepperoni, lunch meat, etc.) and the other two are used for veggies & fruits. The drawers on the door are wide so they fit multiple items. The drawers on the door are also adjustable so if you have a taller bottle, you can move the shelf up to accommodate it. Love this fridge! Zero problems with it!!

Kenmore brand is the main appliance sold by Sears. It has been around for 40 or 50 years by now. It is made with good quality parts and therefore highly unlikely that something will go bad or wrong with the appliance no matter what kind of appliance you are purchasing. I have had washing machines by Kenmore in the past and would recommend them to anyone!

All my appliances have been Kenmore. It's always been a product I have trusted. My parents and my sister always buy Kenmore. We built our home and my husband and I had to decide where to shop for our kitchen. We both agreed Sears. When my dad had to replace his stove I told him to go to Sears.

Happy with my Kenmore fridge for 7 years. No problem. Ice maker and freezer perfect. Plenty of room. Shelves and door space in my side by side unit. Quiet unit. Good looking unit. Easy to keep clean.

My Kenmore was an excellent refrigerator and provided me with many years of good service. I never had to call upon a service repairman at all for any kind of issue or problem. I used this refrigerator for well over 12 years before moving to my current location where one was already provided for my use. Upon selling my previous duplex, I included the Kenmore as part of the deal. That was over 6 years ago and the family who purchased it is still using it today. They love it as they have continued to use it and have also had no problems with it either. That is nearly 20 years with no problems! What else could anyone ask for or expect in a quality appliance? For these reasons, I highly recommend Kenmore refrigerators as an excellent choice when one is looking for just the right refrigerator appliance... Not only are they functional, attractive, and highly durable, but they also meet the needs of diverse family sizes and needs.

It works. The best part is I do not have to think about it like worrying about your car getting a flat tire. The fridge keeps food cold and I DO NOT HAVE TO THINK ABOUT IT. ONE ISSUE IS the plastic drawers did crack after a while so they get "stuck." That is only problem.

My Kenmore lasted many, many years. I never had any problems with leakage, nor did I ever have a problem with the cooling in the refrigerator or freezer. It was an older model, as I said I had it many years, but it lasted through a family of 4 for a long time. I eventually left it for the new owner when I sold my house but it was still in perfect working condition when I left.

I have had no problems with the refrigerator I bought at Sears. I have had the refrigerator for over 2 years now, and am very satisfied with its operation. It is the three-door model with the freezer on the bottom. I will have to say if you are older, like myself, you would probably do better by getting one with the freezer located in a different place. I find it difficult to bend over or kneel for a period of time to locate something in the freezer. Other than this self-inflicted problem, I would have to say that the Kenmore refrigerator has proven to be an excellent choice.

Constant value and retained cold well during power outages. Freezer is extremely effective and constant. Space is more than adequate and well apportioned and all contents are easy to reach. Compartmentalized to make effective use of space provided for dairy products and vegetables maintaining their freshness very well.

I haven't had any major issues. I do struggle with cleaning it if something has spilled and hasn't been cleaned up immediately. I also think that because I have an older style, the placement of items in the fridge is more difficult.

I own a Kenmore refrigerator freezer that stands side by side. It also has a built in water and ice dispenser. I've had it for six years and have never had trouble with it. The water dispenser has a replaceable filter which makes me feel more comfortable drinking it. It was put in storage for over a year through hot and freezing temperatures. It still works fine. I feel very comfortable with the size of the freezer, something I find many of to be too small. The shelves including those on the door, are adjustable. That has come in handy when placing large containers in it. I would recommend it to others.

It looked bigger when it was on display. I wish I had a bit more room, and there are times when things that are far in the back of the 2nd shelf get frozen. But all in all, I'm satisfied with it. It could be so much worse. I just know what I can and can't have on that 2nd shelf. Sometimes it's been a help while other times, not so much.

Found refrigerator in store. Was delivered promptly and installed without issue. Great refrigerator. Had it for over 10 years before it had to be replaced. When I needed a new refrigerator I wanted another Kenmore but I had to have it immediately. Sears did not have any available in the finish and style I needed. As a result I had to purchase another brand.

It was great. We only had to have it serviced once in it's 15 year lifespan. It did exactly what it was supposed to do. We had to change out the light bulbs maybe once every 2 years...? But that is to be expected.

We are very dissatisfied with our fridge. We have only had it about 3 years or so and only after a year the latch that keeps the doors (french doors) closed broke. We called and after a fight they came to replace it. Then a few months later it happened again. This time they wouldn't come to fix it unless we paid.

Reliable backed by service. Technicians well versed in repairs and back to working condition and warranty still valid and even extended by Kenmore. The experience led to the purchase of a second Kenmore brand appliance.

I have a Kenmore deep freezer that I love. I have never had a problem with it. The deep freezer is a 5" by 3" by 4" deep. Always keeps my food frozen. We have had ours for over 2 years now and still is running like a champ.

It's very trustworthy, very great quality, dependable. It almost stays cold and has plenty of space. Has the right amount of storage space, right number of shelfs. Freezer is big effort to fit everything.

Have a Kenmore side-by-side since 1999. Purchased from Sears locally. Purchase and renew the service agreement for it since appliances are large, expensive, and important. In 15 years, we have had the unit serviced twice. The first time was to replace/fix something in the ice maker which is a wonderful luxury feature, easy fix. The second time, the only issue was dust underneath the unit causing coils to malfunction. Tech cleaned it out, super easy fix, completely my fault. Please clean out underneath your fridge at least yearly. The quick and short of it is, my Kenmore unit has been rock solid for 15 years and is still running steady. Kenmore, good stuff.

I had it for 4 years and it worked great. Used to keep my vegetables fresh. I only changed it because I was switching to a 2 door one. The cooler worked great. Easy to find parts online. Definitely recommend.

Withstood much abuse from children as they grew up... Constant opening and closing of doors and drawers would take its toll on most appliances. It remains constant in it's coldness, and all we have lost are door sides inside.

Kenmore is a great brand. We got one in 1994 and we just recently purchased another. I liked that we very rarely had to have it worked on. We had a top freezer with ice maker and the ice maker only broke once. The parts such as drawers and door shelves were very durable. The refrigerator was easy to clean and was the best one we've ever had.

When we first moved into our home we bought a Kenmore refrigerator. It was really nice. Of course growing up that's all my mother used so that is what I stuck to. They seem like they last forever. It has been a great refrigerator. It has never went out. Never had any problems with it. Then we had children and they broke the railing in the door but still is a great refrigerator. I've owned a Kenmore refrigerator in my new apartment that I recently moved into. The fridge is nice, nothing has gone wrong with it yet. The freezer keeps all of the items nice and cold and I haven't had any sign of freezer burn on anything. The fridge is nice, keeps everything fresh and has no smells like my old fridge. It's white in color, which looks great and also has a water and ice spout on the front, which is great for grabbing an easy glass of ice water. Very nice, and works great!

When I bought it it was a something I looked up. My other refrigerator broke so I went look everywhere. Couldn't find it. I found one online and I like it and it been working good for me ever since.

I love my Kenmore refrigerator. It is over 10 years old and still working like brand new. My frozen stuff stays at the perfect temperature and I do not have to defrost it which is an added bonus. And my ice machine works great because we go through a lot of ice here in Texas. The refrigerator works great too. The vegetable drawer keeps all my vegetable really crisp for a lot longer than the GE refrigerator I had previously. It was also a good value and I do not see having to purchase a new refrigerator in the near future. Also I still have not needed to have it serviced but I know if I do that the customer and repair would be as good as the refrigerator.

I love how I can adjust the temp of the freezer and the top fridge. There is tons of space and it looks very fancy in my kitchen. The water dispenser on the front is being used all the time by myself and the kids, and I haven't had any issues with it at all.

The Kenmore refrigerator is a pretty good appliance to have in our house. It keeps our food really fresh, the food doesn't lose its taste. I had one that got hit by lightning and loved it. It ran well and kept everything very cold. I also have a Kenmore stand up freezer that I have had for years and love it. I had to get something at a scratch and dent after lightning strike as needed right away and had limited funds. Will go back to Kenmore just as soon as I upgrade from this one.

As a fridge keeping food cold/frozen it's fine, BUT here's the drawbacks. 1. The egg keeper is TOO SHORT to put a full carton eggs in it! What idiot designs an egg keeper that doesn't keep a standard carton of eggs. So I cut off the end of the carton. 2. The door comes too close to the floor and whacks your foot if wearing sandals or barefoot. 3. The door magnet was designed for a gorilla. You need to REALLY yank on it.

Good product and currently own as it keeps our food in great shape and ready to be cooked or some to be immediately served. Why would anyone not want such a good working machine? Keeps the temperature at just the right setting at all times. Does not get too cold on the freezer side and never frost bites any of our food.

I had purchased a Single door Kenmore refrigerator with a freezer on the bottom about two years ago. I bought it from Sears and had a really good experience with them and was able to find a refrigerator in my price. I have never had any problems with my Kenmore. It has held up really well in the last two years. I would recommend this brand if you want someone affordable and good quality.

The fridge is 5 years old and all the plastic parts of broken by this point, they are very cheaply made. And then they want $70 for a new crisper drawer? Really? But you are stuck. Someone should look into a class action suit.

Kenmore was one of the best fridges I have had. It was really big and spacious inside. I never had problems with it unlike the fridge I have now. Although I do wish they'd personalize colors more.

This refrigerator has adjustable shelves, which is very important for odd shape containers. The frost free freezer is very convenient since you do not have to chip away ice. The exterior is finger proof and very easy to keep clean.

Kenmore Elite Bottom Freezer Refrigerator - We purchased this appliance in August 2011 and have averaged 3-4 service calls per year. Mostly freezer and ice maker problems. Currently the freezer has stopped working. All freezer items were transferred and a fan was replaced. Freezer stopped working again and the problem is now a leak in condenser. Major problem still covered under 5-year limited warranty for parts, not labor. Now refrigerator and freezer are not working.

Very awesome brand that lives up to their name. Best quality and great features. Been using this brand for 10 years and never had a problem with it. Double door feature are great and a lot of storage compartments ice maker feature is the best I have ever had.

My Kenmore refrigerator was extremely dependable. I had it for over ten years and only had to replace the thermostat once and I did that myself in a short amount of time. It operated smoothly with no other problems. Easy to clean with mild soap. Adjustable shelves made it easy to adjust for taller items. Crispers kept fresh foods from getting too cold. Overall this was probably the best refrigerator I ever owned.

Fridge first started leaking at month 11 from purchase date. Service came out and replaced valve for ice maker. Now 8 months later it is leaking from exact valve as prior repair and Sears will NOT do anything about the situation because it is now past the warranty. We will never buy Kenmore products again. This was a problem that started while product was in warranty. Very dissatisfied with Sears and Kenmore products.

Never had any problems with my Kenmore refrigerator. We lived and owned the house. It was in for ten years. It was sold with the home in 2001. I would certainly own another Kenmore if the situation became part of any decision we would have to make.

My model is over 10 years old and is still going strong. I have a bottom freezer which I love because I use the items in the refrigerator more often; therefore, it is more convenient. The fact that the shelves can be placed a varying levels is also nice so I can accommodate the many items I put inside. The crispers are a nice size. I use one for fresh produce and the other one for cheese, hot dogs, etc. There is also a smaller drawer that I use for lunch meat. To sum it up it is designed well and obviously very durable as well as being energy efficient.

I'm satisfied with my refrigerator. It stores a lot and is easy to clean and move shelves around. I haven't had any problems with it yet. The filter was tricky for me to change because it's all the way in the back so it was hard for me to access.

I have had several Kenmore refrigerators and have always been more than satisfied with the quality of the brand. They always have fair prices compared to the current market. I would not hesitate to recommend Kenmore as a high quality brand. We have only had to service one of three Kenmore refrigerators that we have owned.

I bought two Kenmore Energy star refrigerators one for my use and one for my rental unit. The energy use is very low as stated by the company, "less than a sixty watt bulb". Both refrigerators keep food warm and cozy in the fridge section, and the freezer sections are always below the freezing point. If you keep the doors closed and the thermostat set at max cold you get very stable temperatures as shown in the picture. Freezer +/- 32 and Fridge +/- 15. This review is relevant for 6000 and 7000 series of Kenmore top freezer models, hope it helps.

Very efficient. Kept things cold. Never had any issues with it. Very strong brand and very reliable. Was built well and never had pieces that would break. Would definitely recommend buying one again when the times comes to replace it.

Sears came and fixed this recall from Kenmore/LG twice. Now it is again gone bad. This all happened since March of 2015 and here it is October 2015. Not a very good sign if you ask me. Anyway today is October 2, 2015 and I have tried and tried to get this taken care of since September 23rd. Just keep getting the run around. I paid close to $3000.00 for this trip-door refrigerator. Pulling my hair out now trying to either have it completely fixed or replaced. I had purchased an extended warranty on this appliance but that expired about a month before this happened again. I refuse to pay to have it fixed since it was a recall. I just want a fridge that works. Model number of Kenmore Elite is 795.72063.113. I have purchased Kenmore appliances since the early 70s but no more. I am so totally done with them.

Soon after I bought the refrigerator 2 years ago, the door switch failed intermittently and the fridge lights didn't work properly, but the fridge ran OK. When the switch broke totally, I ordered a new one, but after 2 days, I noticed the fridge wasn't cooling properly. I was lucky to get a service man to install a new switch, but then I found out that the defroster fan wasn't working. And due to ice buildup on the fins, I had to unplug the fridge for 2 days so that the ice would melt. Otherwise, the fridge would break and would cost a lot to repair.

Bottom freezer side by side upper 32.5 Cf. Unit was delivered and set-up. About 3 months later the unit froze up inside and then it couldn't cool. I called service and they sent out somebody to thaw it out. The unit froze up again about a couple months later. Service sent me some parts for the service man to install. The man thawed the unit and left again. The unit froze up again soon after that. They sent another service guy out to thaw it out again. This time they replaced parts and told me I could never use the "Energy Saver" setting. Now a couple days ago my unit broke again. It appears to have a leak in the freon system. There is oil in the drain pan. I called Service and they tell me that now my warranty ran out and I would have to buy another warranty. I would have never bought and paid $2955 for a unit that was only going to last less than 5 years. I will never buy Kenmore again.
