It's been great with the people. However, some details in the property were lacking. Our exhaust vent for dryer was built too small and they forced it to close creating a oval shaped vent. The hook up from dryer to the exhaust vent would not fit. KB homes ended up creating a custom hook up. Our fuse box was mislabeled and missing labels. Tiles required home owner to seal. Previous new build we purchased came sealed. We have a rate/mouse problem now, catching 2 mouse/rats every day for the past week.

KB Home made the best houses in our city and we love our floor plan. Location is great too. KB Home is the reason why we bought the house because houses are ground floor and there is a lot of space inside.

We had previously lived in our home for 29 years and needed to downsize. Marvin ** showed us a beautiful lot and we had our home built here. We can view the wild deer from the back porch in the morning and evening as they go across the field. Priceless.

We love our new KB home. The quality of the workmanship and value is great. The design of the duplex is beautiful and an easy floor plan to live in. We also love the location in Collier's Hill, across from a soon to be park, and near schools and the rec center. Great community.

My sales rep (Jeanne) best describes what KB embodies. Not only was she very responsive and respectful to all questions. She made sure she could do everything she could to make it the best experience possible. She even bought desserts and brought servicing trays for my engagement I was planning in the new house!

Overall, the sum of the experiences my wife and I endured put a huge strain on our lives at a time when we already had the stress of planning our wedding during Covid. From an error in our ceiling height that led us to have to rebuild, to misleading pricing, to declined meetings to address our concerns, our experiences were unheard of by seasoned professionals in the housing industry. We looked to KB Homes (sales in particular) for help during the complex process of buying our first home, but instead we were met with unprofessionalism that we could not have imagined. As well-paying customers, we feel we did not deserve this treatment.

Out of the many builders to choose from, we did consider KB but wanted to do as much research as possible on every builder and what their track record is. My wife was diagnosed with breast cancer just after we signed contract, which caused much apprehension about moving forward. Sales and Constructions staff were awesome! I would work with them again. But I wish we would have had a better experience with the lender or that we had taken the time to get a loan from a different company.

Looking back, it was a great experience. Buying a home can be stressful, especially when things don't seem to be meeting your standard. But if you are able to work with good construction managers and sales representatives then it become much easier to trust the process. There were a few bumps in the road, but Wes and Steve were accommodating, knowledgeable, and quick to correct any issues that came up for us. Honestly, I wish we had made the purchase sooner!

We had a wonderful experience in our community with our sales team, and construction team. I hear your experience really depends on these teams. If you ever get Braxton, Jason, Diane or Lindsay you are in excellent hands. Our Superintendents stayed on top of the crews to put together a quality, and sturdy home. The home is incredibly well insulated, and blocks out external noise very effectively. This is likely because of the Energy Star certification.

If you want to have the house of your dreams, I strongly recommend KB home, you will never be disappointed with your choice and my recommendation, on the contrary, you'll even give them the tips before the closing date or the end of the construction work. KB Home's quality has really improved over the years. My home is equipped with many energy efficient fixtures and enhanced air sealing. I currently live in a two-story home and my previous home was a single story and about 200 sq. ft. smaller than my new KB home. I just received my first electric bill and it's cheaper than my previous single story home. I live in Las Vegas and it's always windy and dusty here. Due to the enhanced air sealing of the home, I noticed there's less dust coming inside the house.

Staff are professional, knowledgeable, and make the home buying experience easy. House was delivered on schedule despite numerous challenges in the post-Covid world. House build quality is superb with many options included as part of the build, like AC, kitchen islands, and energy efficient homes.

Purchasing with KB was an amazing experience. We were a little wary after reading some scary reviews, but we had a good feeling about the people we were working with, and that feeling didn't lead us astray! Our home was well made and absolutely beautiful, the sales staff were helpful, and our customer service rep Ryan went above and beyond, helping us epoxy our garage floor and paint the inside. Everyone we interacted with gave us the feeling that they truly cared about us and our home. After having lived in our home, we love it even more. We feel so lucky to have found KB and to now have a beautiful and peaceful place to call home - all without needing an enormous mortgage!

I know that there can be delays in delivering the home such as third-party issues like SoCal Edison. It was not a pleasant experience for us to wait one more month because we sold our old home within the date range of our original move-in date.

We have built and bought a few homes in the past and there has always been problems in the process. With KB Home, the process was very easy and pleasant. After getting to know the staff better, it became clear that they were indeed a family of people who truly cared about helping us make a house our "home". We walked into the sales office to look at the model homes and were immediately greeted by Mark, with a smile. He welcomed us in allowing us to freely look around, but letting us know he was available, if we had any questions. The whole team from the sales person to the lender was horrible. No one communicates with no one. Closing date was apparently cancelled without any notice to anybody. I wasted my day waiting and nobody even apologized to me for wasting my time. I will NOT do business again with KB Home. DR Horton has way better team that works and communicates with clients.

I started the whole experience by walking into the front office asking what was available. After being shown a property that was for sale and ready for move in, Carmen made sure I was taken care of the entire process started from there. Chris was quick to get in touch just following the visit of the place and got the entire loan approval process done with ease. Melissa the superintendent had a lot of information to give that came with the house and made it super easy to understand by providing me a checklist of things to take care of just in case I forgot what was explained. We have purchased 3 homes to date. This was our first build and we had been told building is so much more stressful. This has by far been the smoothest home buying experience we have had even with the delays at the end. KB had a great selection at the design studio. There were a few things that we wanted that weren't options at the studio and building gave us the time to design and pick those items out. KB did change superintendents on us a few time which made for some lost communication on minor questions. We expect there to be issues with every home buying experience and this home was no exception, but the issues were nowhere near the degree that we had come to expect based on previous home buying experiences.

KB Home moto is customer satisfaction first, and they have prove to me that every single employee work with customer satisfaction in mind. The team here in Hidden Cannon is the best team ever. Customer satisfaction!!!! We are more than satisfied with KB home buying experience. Wow.

Tiffany and Crystal absolutely ruined this whole process for us. This is really heartbreaking because EVERYONE else we came across was absolutely amazing. I think KB needs to get rid of people like Tiffany and Crystal so buyers can have a wonderful and stress-free experience. If those two women did not work for KB, I would be shouting from the rooftops at how much I love KB Home. Overall, these two women need to be fired, demoted, or seriously trained. The KB Home team at Lacey Crossing are professional and conscientious. This is our second new home to purchase in the past 5 years and we can say without a doubt that this team has made purchasing this home a very pleasant experience. While we understand the economy is different in Southern California from where our other new home was built, the quality of counters, hard surface floors, carpet, paint, doors, molding, windows and fixtures is not as favorable as the other builder that we purchased from, although they are direct competitors.

The experience with KB Homes (underwriter) especially at closing made me as a six time homebuyer feel as though I was being prosecuted. During this part of the home purchase process, I had to provide financial information more than 3 times as though I was lying about the 2022 income as a Federal Contractor, retire federal and Florida state employee, and a 100% disabled veteran.

As a retired master plumber for over forty years in my family-owned business that started in 1906. I was delighted with the professionalism and quality, and value we received from KB Homes. Thanks for a job well done.

My overall experience was great. Working with everyone was so easy and simple. Everyone was easy to talk to, and I felt so welcomed and comfortable working with everyone. I learned so much during this process and I will remember everyone.

My home my buying experience was very smooth. My home turned out great! As with any house there are always a few minor issues, like a few paint scuffs, but those are handled by a warranty. My only real issue is that since the home is so new the address didn't show up in usps systems yet. But that will be resolved and is not due to KB. KB Homes does a good job building hype around you and your home and will be with you every step of the way.

Our experience was terrible. We had to contact our lender on multiple occasions and explain the type of loan/financing we were looking for, and once the date approached for our final documents the lender did not provide the accurate documents which had been discussed previously. We had to resubmit again, which delayed our closing. The lender wasn't forthcoming in explaining aspects of the loan process and details we wanted to know. It was like pulling teeth to get a clear explanation of our loan options.

We purchased a new construction KB home in Vista Del Oro Reserve, Tucson. From start to finish, the experience exceeded our expectations. We have built/purchased 8 new construction homes over the years and would rank the quality of service and construction as exceptional. The sales and construction staff were extremely responsive and provided weekly updates which was helpful since we were out of state. We highly recommend purchasing a KB in Tucson.

KB was different from start to finish supportive and keeping their promises. Lot is big and location is cozy with parks nearby. Sales James was very clear and always greeted me with smile. I was hoping for a much better experience in the whole process and the actual build of the home especially with the construction personnel and the quality. Caring goes a long way and I didn�t get that here.

This is the second home I've bought from KB Homes and I love them both. First one as a double story in different location and it was excellent. I sold it and got this single story and could not be happier.

Picking out our house was the only easy part. Everything after that, from dealing with the mortgage company, not having the paperwork ready at the title appointment, doing the walk through and pointing out all the issues and not having them complete when we moved in, and still trying to get things repaired. No communication throughout different areas of KB. No pride in workmanship. No quality control checks. Spending over $400,000 on a brand new house and having issues with paint on the floor, yard torn apart, cracked drywall, crooked vanities, stickers on the outside of windows, mismatch paint on the garage, cracked stone on outside of house, no instruction about the alarm system we can't shut off. I love our house, but this whole experience has been horrible.

This is my 2nd time building a home with KB and once again they've done an outstanding job. A high quality home at an affordable price, built by an amazing team who kept us informed the entire way. Thank you.

Starting with sales, we had no intention of committing fully to buying a house, but Jon knew exactly what we were looking for, on the first house he showed us we fell in love with. The KB Lending team were always up to date with us and helped us through the process. The Maintenance team was always efficient in helping resolve issues upon moving in.

Buying a home with KB Home was a great experience. From the start, you can choose the lot, model, options and style of your home. It's exciting to see your future home being built from the ground-up, to pre-drywall inspection, final inspection, and closing. Construction staff and sales counselor provided pictures, status of construction, and estimated completion dates. Quick to fix issues as they arose. I'm sure I'll enjoy my KB Home for many years.

Staff was amazing. Entire process was very straightforward. Each step was properly explained and the team was very organized, from initial contract, to design, finance, and then final construction- it was painless.

This experience was horrible from the beginning. The original loan officer quit and my file was just sitting somewhere not assigned to anyone else. The new loan officer did work hard to help us close. I do appreciate her. There have been several problems with the actual house. Nothing was fixed that was told during the walkthrough. Nathan, the construction manager, actually blamed and fought us about a scratch that was done on the floor by his crew. He was very condescending when he was speaking to us. I do not ever want to have to speak to him again. Very unprofessional!

Overall this was an amazing, stressful, confusing, and wonderful experience. Buying a home is not for the weak, make sure to be open and ask all questions. Ensure communication is there on both sides.

Working with KB Homes was a long process that began with hope. It was stressful when the closing date was not met but others within the company helped us get things back on track. Due to high interest rates and inflation we understand the costs of a mortgage are not the same as it was 3-4 yrs ago. However, KB negotiated with us and made the numbers work - though we had to assemble a lot of documents and rely on our accountants to get over the challenges presented at closing. In the end, We are happy to be in the home and will likely do business with KB Homes again.

I always heard that the process of buying a house is hard and tedious but KB Home proved it wrong. The entire process was smooth. From Ress (Sales), design (Janelle) to Loan processors (Corey and Pearl) the process was easy and exciting. All of them were always there and available to answer any question along the way and to keep us up to date with the process and the progress of our home making it easy and exciting for us every step of the journey.

Since this was my first time having a home built, it was a lot to take in. Picking the house plans, adding and removing features to the home, to choosing color patterns, textures, all the way to security. It was a bit overwhelming but a great experience. Since closing date, we still have construction trash around the house, southeast wall still unfinished, damaged windows not yet replaced, unfinished kitchen cabinets, damaged range extractor, CO2 devices not working properly, electrical issues: when you connect and appliance, lights in the entire house zoom down. Irrigation system with huge leak and missing or dead plants.

It was very exciting and outstanding experience purchasing a brand new home from KB Home. It was quite a journey to see the progress of our beautiful house built from the ground up. Everyone from KB Home team were very helpful, professional and approachable when we have inquiries. I know every team had played a very important role to make sure our house will be as perfect as possible and I'm so grateful for their hard work. Special mention to KB Home loan staff, Jj **, who's been very patient and diligent putting all our documents accordingly and made sure our closing of escrow would be completed on a timely manner. Also, to Michael K. who made it possible for our loan to be completed with reasonable rate.

Please do not sign contract if the house is not ready to move in, use other way other than KB Home loan to finance the house. Beware the materials used in the house are the cheapest, not good quality and required replacement not long after purchase. Not a good choice to buy in the buyer's market time.

I had great experience with customer service and staff before and after moving in. But worst experience anyone could have with KBH financing. I would love that focus on improving or placing someone who can communicate better with first time home buyers and someone who can elaborate and go beyond to help, and see customer as human not just box to be checked.

Experience started with Gail ** who was horrible. Forgot to call us back a couple times, would give us wrong information. As the process progressed dealing with our loan processor Susan ** it got worse. She was rude, did not answer questions, she cost me a better interest rate. Did not tell us about lock rates and what we can do to lower our mortgage. As home was built dealing with Scott ** and Philip ** it was the saving grace of KB. They helped make the experience better for us. Also KB management (Nichole **) horrible! Did not help the situation with good customer service! Took 2 weeks to get an answer about final price of home, All while Susan hounding us to process the loan with no final price.

There are a lot of home builders out there and I think if KB really wants to stand out they need to take the time to hire contractors that will actually focus on good quality work and not cutting corners on details. Purchasing quality material that will not have were in tear in a short period of time. Homes these days are extremely expensive so the customer wants something that they feel is going to last a long time. Everyone wants to push homes out ASAP but that does not necessarily mean that it is the best quality home. Slow down and do it right the first time.

I am very impressed with the experience I had building a KB home. I've built with a higher end builder in the past, and they didn't come close to the service I received from KB. Communication is excellent, and that is what was lacking with my past builders.

Home building is tricky because there are so many moving parts. The communication and contact are what aids the buyer in knowing where they are in the process. I never had a question unanswered or went wondering other than during county inspection process which is of no fault to the builder, on those time frames. My home is beautiful. It was worth the wait.

The house is good, the materials are fine, but it could have improvements. Need better contractors doing the job, or check their work. Subflooring is placed very poorly. The grass is not well placed (many dead spots). Trees are placed not harmonic. The doors are not leveled. The vents are crooked. Shingles were not well nailed.

Finance through the entire process was a nightmare, zero communication. I'm a first-time buyer and they just uploaded more and more documents with ZERO explanation of what I was supposed to be signing. Finally after a very serious email threatening to back out of the entire thing someone reached out to me and basically told me they just need me to sign, It's not really important stuff right now, when it is they'll explain it.

First-time home buyer, this was an absolute nightmare that I regret getting myself into. From the terrible experience with KB Mortage to the beyond sub-par craftsmanship on the house, I wish I had never signed the contract as it has been nothing short of a joke since the earnest money check was lost. Lack of knowledge all around on KB's side, top to bottom as well when trying to move up and get supervisor or management to step in. I have always heard how amazing it is to buy your first home, and that was not even close to the stress and anxiety-filled experience I was put through to end up in such a poorly built home.

Where other builders are failing, KB is excelling. From personal experience with two other builders since 2018, KB is leading the pack. One house I had built had structural issues and another I was building could not manage their estimates of completion, and I had to cancel that contract. So far, no major issues with KB. KB has ensured that they follow a schedule and ensure customers are informed of any changes.

Purchasing with KB was our first home-buying experience. Make sure you do your research prior to buying a home as it's your responsibility that your oversight is competent throughout the process. KB staff was helpful, however, they don't do enough to help you personalize your home (such as asking what your plans are for the home and giving ideas). That's what would have set them apart for us. Overall, it's a nice build in a promising area. Time will tell how well KB holds up to their customer service post-COE.

If you like to be ignored, tricked, lied, then go with KB Home. The sales team is only good with they are making the sale, after that, they will abandon you. They will lie to you about fees and tell you that is the city or else, to avoid assuming their responsibilities. The sales manager Sudesh ** is very uneducated, so you will not get any help from him, he will make you desist from the purchase instead of helping you. The KB home lender will offer you a loan with 10k closing costs, and if they choose to, they will also abandon you and ignore you. No explanation or information on why. We were stuck with the contract or lose our deposit, so we continued. If you can, avoid them. We used a different lender. The home delivery was the worst experience, nobody from the sales team showed up. Dirty home, dirty rags and blades... The key was left in a bag in the garage. No mail access, and nobody has information or reach to you.

The end result of our home was good but it took a lot of heartache to get to where we are today. We were lied to, promises were broken, and commitments were not kept. I am very disappointed in the experience I have with KB. Everyday there were people in and out my home fixing issues. I bought a preconstruction with 13 Floor Homes, which I thought was a smaller company than KB. They had minor issues after closing. I had only 2-3 things that needed attention. The experience was good at the beginning but got worse at the end. I am so grateful for Kerlyn to help us go through this process.

I found the construction of our KB home to be quite phenomenal. Very minor issues throughout, and all of them addressed very promptly. Need to work on final Inspection and have an open and honest review and point out known issues, instead of trying to hide it and let the customer find it. All issues including third party vendors and contractors needs to be handled through KB Home until customer is happy, cannot have customer running around in circles and feeling helpless, everyone blaming the other party. Need to be upfront about properties that being sold as rentals, on my street there are at least 5 rentals, so does not feel like families buying to settle done (like us).

The sales person to their time to show us different houses' floor plans and to the time to help us make the decisions without any rush or push. During the time it took for the loan department to approve the loan and complete the closing, we visited the house to plan for the move-in and we were allowed to be in the house for as long as we needed and the staff was always very friendly and helpful.
