We just felt that we had to repeat request or stay on top of the upgrades that we did. The fact that you don't include a toilet door in the master bath is insane. Would never have thought that was an upgrade. Especially after we did upgrade the master bathroom. We are not first-time homeowners, so I think that helped us know what to look out for. I think if you are you could be very confused.

Thank You KB Home. You always returned my calls very quickly with answers when I called or texted with a question. Kept us up to date with construction progress with text and pictures. Our sales contact Jason was great and we are sorry we didn't expand on that earlier in this review. As I stated earlier I was not comfortable going with such a large builder especially after reading about earlier 2015 issues, however, it was Jason's confidence in his employer and the quality of product they produce that changed my mind and closed the deal.

KB Home have made our move out of state as flawless and smooth as it could've been. We were so content with the entire process, and they were so honest and genuine. There was no secrets or hidden fees or problems from signing the contract, the building of our home, HOA rules, finish date, and closing date. They checked up on us weekly to not only update us on the house but to how we were doing personal. It was never about how to make the most money, but instead, was about how to make us a forever KB home owner and family member. Thank you Greg, Sean, Drew, and Gabby!

Overall we are pleased with the entire process and the commitment to communication that was showed to make this experience very enjoyable. We got constant updates on the house every week when the build officially began which made it super fun to watch it come to life from dirt to what is now our family home. We are so happy we found this community when we did, we did not expect everything to be so smooth and we are so happy that KB made us become first time homebuyers and homeowners. We are happy to have shared this milestone with our KB family and what a great experience to also have the home done before the holidays, we couldn't be happier.

Our overall experience with KB Home was great. From the time we stepped foot in the model home and until now during the warranty period. Were there issues along the way? Sure, the staff at KB dealt with it promptly.

I felt rushed to closing and home was not delivered to me finished as promised. Items below concerned are not addressed. Tried to contact superintendent and customer service. No response.

While the home was built very well and the construction team is amazing. Attempting to work with KB Finance was horrible. It's truly a night and day experience. I would say if you intend on buying KB, bring your own lender in with you and don't worry about the incentives because they are not worth the headache.

We are grateful to have been taken care of throughout the home buying process. We had our issues with dates and closing but the service was and still is excellent from KB Home. We would definitely recommend them to friends and family!

David our salesman was great. It is a spec home so you can't expect the best. We had 2 warranty issues in the first year and the customer service rep, Heather ** was terrible. The first was, when there was a power outage, our fire alarms went off and we could not shut them off. All Heather did is argue, for a month, about everything. And then, in the end, she finally sent an electrician out. It was a bad alarm unit which I had been saying from the beginning. Second issue is our fence gate not working correctly. The fence guy fixed it once and that failed. After many arguments with Heather, we are getting it fixed at our own expense. I told Heather not to come around our Home again.

Great home buying experience with KB Homes and especially sales rep Sandro. Had a terrible experience just 1 year ago with Richmond American so I was nervous... but KB Homes and Sandro provided a great buying experience.

Susan ** was my sales counselor and was communicative, professional, and kind throughout the entire process. She answered every question I had, updated me weekly on my home progress, and made sure that I got exactly what I was looking for in my first home.

The best thing about KB is the price and design of the home. I truly believe it's the best on the market. The only thing left to be perfect is really attention to detail - there is so much we need to look out for to make sure that they get fixed. It would be great if those things were already addressed. Even at our final walkthrough there were things from the inspection that hadn't been addressed. They got taken care of shortly so it was no problem - but it put a lot of pressure on us to make sure things are getting done and in some cases bringing them up over and over again.

Overall the experience was what we expected. Things moved quickly and sales and finance staff was superb throughout the process. House was done sooner than anticipated- overall we are happy with it but we wished the construction team paid closer details and took more time with finishing touches and installations.

Lingering backyard issue has left a bad taste especially when it's health and safety issue as well. I could have ignored other small items had this not been an issue. But, at this time I am forced to think every small and big issue and it's not a good feeling right now. I am concerned for myself and my family. I had few more friends potentially looking at buying in the next phase. I am not sure if I want to commend now.

KB Home is one of the greatest construction companies, that is the reason why I chose them to buy my house because they use quality materials and their prices are reasonable and affordable. Their design is speechless with many options to upgrade and select from. That is what I like the most. In overall KB Home stays with me forever!

Our experience with purchasing our KB Home was great overall. This is not our first new home. There are always small details that pop up in every home buying experience, from the construction of the home to the mortgage phases. Every issues was assessed and corrected promptly. We were treated very well by the staff at KB Home and are very very happy in our "forever" home!

We truly had a great experience with KB Homes and felt that our home was personalized for us. The staff assigned to us were outstanding and went above and beyond for us. We lived about 300 miles away while our house was being built. We got weekly updates and we were always informed of what's going on. We are very satisfied with the whole experience and would totally recommend KB Homes to friends and family.

It is more so the underwriters that's making it hard for both parties. How can the mortgage processor give the buyer a clear answer when they are holding business up. I felt like they was procrastinating on the items they needed instead of, just making a list. Very poor on the end and wanted to walk away. This is not the First time I bought a house. The experience was not pleasant with then.

Being in the industry and running warranty for another builder, makes me glad that Katy offers such a great warranty for the home. Also, in my particular subdivision both my construction managers are great. You don't get that type of attention from other builders, especially the ones that I used to work for.

Anyone else with a KB Home get a dumpster door installed IN THEIR BRAND NEW HOUSE? RIDICULOUS. JUNK. Been sitting with this door for about 6 months....Along with a SLEW of other problems. Do NOT close on a house where there are things wrong...Empty promises...8 months and they cannot even fix the simple things...Shall we get to the $3000 "appearance" allowance we were offered to just leave everything as it is??? That does not even cover the upgrade to my tile floors which have issues!!! There is so much more....I did not spend nearly $400k on my forever home to deal with this type of incompetence. They start a project in the home, break 3 or more things and move on leaving us in worse shape than when they started!

My experience with KB Home is quality in building homes. They also build homes with necessary things already included such as solar energy, EV chargers and back yard. It looked very attractive to me at my decision to buy a KB Home. Sales staffs are friendly and knowledgeable in helping us all the time even during their day-off, always available for me. The construction crew and customer service staff are diligent in supporting our needs in time with kindness, quick and excellent performance. I am happy that I decided to buy a KB Home.

We bought our new house 8 days ago. We saw water leaking from roof in hall. We have master bathroom just above our hall. When we complained they came in, removed everything from wall and saw water created fungus everywhere so they removed everything and to find leak they removed the tiles from bathroom and found they have 3 leaks in master bathroom. Which was created due to use of long nail from other side. They are now doing patch work and fixing everything. I feel I didn't buy a 1.2M house to have a patch work on wall and pipes. Over that they are not willing to compensate anything. They kept wall dryers on for 3 days which consumes lots of electricity and had lots of water drained and most important our time and inconvenience.

We worked with many excellent people at KB Homes but the construction process was long, extremely frustrating, and poorly managed. We had non stop construction issues and delays with very little (if any) communication. Getting issues resolved was an exhausting process. The

This home building and buying process was about as smooth as it could have possibly been. We were given a timeframe for completion when we signed the purchase agreement and our home was delivered as promised. The whole experience including going to the design studio to pick out exactly what we wanted in our new home was fantastic. Also, the sales team kept us informed at all phases and made sure that everything was done on time and as we expected. This is my second KB Home purchase, and I am just as happy with this one as I was with the first.

KB Home buying policies are designed to trap you into a commitment. You have little information until you are locked into a sales contract with a non-refundable deposit. Had I seen the design studio prior to submitting the deposit, we would not have purchased a KB Home. The construction materials they use are sub-standard. There is little attention to detail in the design of the home. As an example, the air conditioning unit is placed right outside of the main bedroom window rather than between the two. Had it been placed two feet in either direction, this would not be an issue. In short I would caution people when purchasing a KB Home.

WE FEEL SO LUCKY TO HAVE WORKED WITH A GREAT KB HOME TEAM who looks after us! First and foremost, our home is beautiful and we love it. Spacious with great open concept. Sod preparation especially during a drought needs work but hopefully they will remedy that for future buyers.

Kb Home is an excellent company. I met it 4 years ago and I really liked it since it has affordable prices for families like mine, so this is my second purchase in three years and we have recommended it to several friends and family.

I bought from KB because of the lot and where it's located. If not for that, probably I would have find other options. House is ok but the upgraded kitchen cabinets feels and look flimsy. Not worth the upgrade. I wish I didn't upgraded and spent more than 2,000 dollars. Lots of chips and some are misaligned.

After visiting various KB homes and other newly constructed properties, it's evident that the quality of new construction has notably deteriorated. We were initially enthusiastic about the KB Home experience, especially after seeing impressive homes several years ago. However, the actual experience fell far short of our expectations. We strongly believe that choosing the right contractors is crucial in ensuring quality construction.

Everything and everyone were great. One thing that we found stressful some credit was supposed to be given to us toward our closing cost with outside lender. This was signed and approved by Stephene **, owner representative but she didn't honor her promise right before closing. She also never replied to our emails about the credit that was signed on the contract. We had a few days to close and no respond from her. My outside Loan officer was shocked with this unprofessional behavior. At that time, we canceled our loan to save us money for the closing cost. Richard, Phillip, Ruby and Debbie have worked so hard and were best part of this home-buying experience. If the option would have been 100, I would have given these four professionals. 100/100.

We lived in MN when we decided to build a retirement home in FL. We made many, many trips to FL researching areas & builders. We had a list of 12 builders and after several tours of model homes, we had narrowed it down to 2 builders, KB being 1 of those. We flew back to MN armed with a ton of information on these 2 builders. What it ultimately came down to was location & cost. We flew back to FL for 1 last tour of model homes & visits with salespeople and we finally made a decision & went with KB. Are we ever happy we did! Our salesman, Jamie, was extremely knowledgeable & very patient as we had a lot of questions. He assisted us in our lot choice, which is absolutely beautiful! We put our trust in KB to deliver us, our dream home & they did not disappoint. We luv the finishes we chose, location & community. They stand behind their product & we could not be happier!

Saving grace were the people KB has working for their jobs and sales. Certain construction people didn't care enough about our home to give it their best, and this just makes me so sad. We are not the complaining type, but I think some better training or better hiring is in order. Thank you for giving me this platform to voice my concerns. If you would like to fix these things (too late, I know) I would love it. WE LOVE OUR HOUSE REGARDLESS.

My overall experience as a first time homebuyer was great, the sales staff here at Imperial Forest community is the best, the Design Studio is really well laid out and you have a wide selection. My process working with KB Home was like a rollercoaster going super high and then dropping down right after construction started on the home. The materials used to build the framing of my home had black mold, and chunks of wood were missing. I just thought the skeleton of the home is so important, yet it seems like the cheapest materials were used then you put beautiful makeup on the outside the hide any flaws on the inside. My stair rail gives me splinters, it's very rough and not at all smooth. The tiles have paint splatters all over them, and my windows are crooked. Look it's not a million-dollar home by any means, so I'm not expecting perfection. I was however expecting to receive a product similar to the beautiful model home they had on display. That home was built beautifully, then I felt like they made a cheap copy of it and sent it to me to sign off on. I was just sad.

The process from start to finish was phenomenal. We never felt pressured to do anything and everyone was honest. I used to work in real estate and I know from experience that people are reluctant to go through a new home process because of all the unknowns, the waiting periods, sales haggling, etc. I never once felt that with this home buying experience. Everyone was humble, hard working, honest, and reassuring.

My family was moving from Florida. KB Homes made the move across the country peaceful. We knew as a family exactly what was waiting for us when we arrived. A beautiful brand new home that we could start new.

I just wish the loan originator was a tad bit more transparent about all of the fees involved at closing. Especially considering I am a first-time home buyer. Otherwise, the experience was generally very pleasant and exciting. The staff as a whole was very professional and helpful.

We purchased a Richmond home two years ago and have had horrible experience with sales staff, superintendent and design gallery coordinator. They were unfriendly, made empty promises, and never provide update on construction weekly or monthly. We found KB is a much nicer builder to work with this time.

Overall, my experience was generally a positive one with the biggest pain point being what I listed above. I am appreciative of the sudden shift in direction the management team took but I felt like it was way too last minute and caused uncertainty and stress on my end. That said, working with Rich, Juan and Janice was awesome overall. They've all been incredibly attentive to my needs and have responded promptly to any questions/concerns I may have.

My experience with KB Home has left me profoundly dissatisfied. The subpar workmanship and lack of care in constructing this home are deeply disappointing. There were 14 issues upon move-in that one would assume should have been resolved beforehand. Astonishingly, KB Home deemed this a "move-in ready" home. Despite being here for over a month, these issues remain unresolved. I cannot, in good conscience, recommend KB Home to my friends or family.

The team KB Home has assemble together offer us timely responses and professionalism at every turn of our home purchasing process, during these entire process we were confident in the choices we make with selecting KB for our new home purchase.

KB Home sell the houses for millions of dollars but the quality of the house is extremely poor, we had done many repairs just after few months of purchasing the house. They used cheap stuff to build the house to save money.

It's been great with the people. However, some details in the property were lacking. Our exhaust vent for dryer was built too small and they forced it to close creating a oval shaped vent. The hook up from dryer to the exhaust vent would not fit. KB homes ended up creating a custom hook up. Our fuse box was mislabeled and missing labels. Tiles required home owner to seal. Previous new build we purchased came sealed. We have a rate/mouse problem now, catching 2 mouse/rats every day for the past week.

KB Home made the best houses in our city and we love our floor plan. Location is great too. KB Home is the reason why we bought the house because houses are ground floor and there is a lot of space inside.

We had previously lived in our home for 29 years and needed to downsize. Marvin ** showed us a beautiful lot and we had our home built here. We can view the wild deer from the back porch in the morning and evening as they go across the field. Priceless.

Looking back, it was a great experience. Buying a home can be stressful, especially when things don't seem to be meeting your standard. KB Home's quality has really improved over the years. My home is equipped with many energy efficient fixtures and enhanced air sealing. I currently live in a two-story home and my previous home was a single story and about 200 sq. ft. smaller than my new KB home. I just received my first electric bill and it's cheaper than my previous single story home. I live in Las Vegas and it's always windy and dusty here. Due to the enhanced air sealing of the home, I noticed there's less dust coming inside the house.

Staff are professional, knowledgeable, and make the home buying experience easy. House was delivered on schedule despite numerous challenges in the post-Covid world. House build quality is superb with many options included as part of the build, like AC, kitchen islands, and energy efficient homes.

The whole team from the sales person to the lender was horrible. No one communicates with no one. Closing date was apparently cancelled without any notice to anybody. I wasted my day waiting and nobody even apologized to me for wasting my time. I will NOT do business again with KB Home. DR Horton has way better team that works and communicates with clients.

We have purchased 3 homes to date. This was our first build and we had been told building is so much more stressful. This has by far been the smoothest home buying experience we have had even with the delays at the end. KB had a great selection at the design studio. There were a few things that we wanted that weren't options at the studio and building gave us the time to design and pick those items out. KB did change superintendents on us a few time which made for some lost communication on minor questions. We expect there to be issues with every home buying experience and this home was no exception, but the issues were nowhere near the degree that we had come to expect based on previous home buying experiences.

I think KB needs to get rid of people like Tiffany and Crystal so buyers can have a wonderful and stress-free experience. The KB Home team at Lacey Crossing are professional and conscientious. This is our second new home to purchase in the past 5 years and we can say without a doubt that this team has made purchasing this home a very pleasant experience. While we understand the economy is different in Southern California from where our other new home was built, the quality of counters, hard surface floors, carpet, paint, doors, molding, windows and fixtures is not as favorable as the other builder that we purchased from, although they are direct competitors.
