My overall experience with KB Home has been positive. The quality of construction is impressive, and the design options offered were extensive, allowing for a personalized touch. The sales and support teams were professional and responsive, ensuring a smooth process from start to finish. While there were a few minor issues post-move-in, the customer service team promptly addressed them. Overall, KB Home delivered an excellent homebuying experience, and I am satisfied with my new home.

Everyone at KB Home Shadow Mountain in Menifee were great to work with. Amy our sales counselor treated us like family from the start and checked in with us after we moved in. The loan process with KB Home Loan went great and Jason and Marco kept in up to date regularly and got the loan closed in time for the expecting move-in date. The construction manager, Daniel, kept us up to date during the construction of our home and has kept in touch to ensure any repair items we fixed to our satisfaction.

This is my third home purchase, but first with KB Home. This has been the best home purchase experience for me. I greatly enjoyed the upgrade options. KB has exceeded my every expectation. I have already started recommending KB Home and would be happy to purchase my next home with KB. Thank you!

Buyer beware - KB Home is navigating many staffing and communication issues that can cause you unnecessary stress, delays, and cost you more money! Do not trust KBHS to act in your best interest, shop around.

Overall I believe I have a lovely home and chose a great community to live. I understand things happen in construction and will admit that their team will address those mistakes to make it right with the home owner.

The overall experience was generally good. Sales, constructions, and loan teams were attentive, responsive, kind and always looked out for what is best for us. The few hiccups I would say is the lack of clarity when the house was delivered. The effects of settling of the home could've better been explained to avoid worry. The biggest issue has been the long gaps of response by the claims team.

We love our home, but have had a challenging experience working with KB to have faulty work fixed on over a dozen items. We had to close on an unfinished house and have struggled to have the remaining items be closed out on, even with several layers of leadership up to the VP assuring us personally our home would be finished soon in order to coerce us into closing on our closing date. Poor communication has been a central theme and created a negative experience I hope to never have again during the home buying experience.

After a couple of experiences prior to this purchase, we never imagined that we would find such professional, attentive, empathetic, dedicated and helpful people, who like what they do and that is difficult to find on a daily basis. I thank once again all those mentioned who believed and made this goal possible.

Working with KB Homes with the construction of my new home met all my expectations. I was advised of its progress with weekly updates that included pictures and videos. The sales and construction staff were always available to answer questions and provide information.

I love my home. In the first few weeks, we started running into problem after problem. We needed almost every vendor to come back out to do repairs. Had to take time off work to get things done but the person we worked with was great and made sure that all our problems were fixed. It has been about 7 weeks since we got our keys and almost everything is fixed. Now I'm able to enjoy my house.

Home was good quality for price. Customer service was very good. Do a thorough inspection during the walk through. There were many small issues that needed to be resolved prior to purchase. KB gladly fixed everything but we as customers had to point it all out. These were simple issues that could have been resolved prior to our inspection. The sales team appears to have rush the last leg of construction and a lot of small details needed to be corrected.

Buying a KB was the best decision we have made! We were assigned a great sales, mortgage, construction & customer service team that really went above and beyond all expectations. Our Superintendent, Tony, really made us feel like our home was the main priority although it was very evident that all homes in our community were built with integrity. We were lucky enough to purchase our home when it was just a dirt lot & our sales officer, Lizette, was extremely patient with us & helped us pick out the best lot choice for our needs. Even our mortgage officer, Jason, made sure to take the time & explain every detail to us during the whole process. We'd recommend KB to anyone who is looking for exceptional customer service & a beautiful home!

It has been an amazing experience, the area we are in is extremely beautiful and the team was very attentive and informative. It is an insane amount of value for the lot that we got, and we couldn't be happier.

Seriously regret buying from these guys. As soon as the keys were handed to me, it's been non-stop issues. Everything in the house like plumbing, hvac, and irrigation needed several visits from techs to fix. Everyone in the neighborhood has had 1-2 flat tires from their construction crews leaving trash and nails everywhere. The amenity center is half the size of the concept design that was presented before purchasing. I've been paying HOA fees for 3 years now without a single amenity. Their reps never return calls either. Truly awful company to work with.

Everyone is extremely honest and professional at KB Homes. The information provided was consistently reliable, with no unexpected developments. This is what I appreciated the most. We ended up buying a dream home with a very smooth buying process.

The last 12 months have been stressful and frustrating. If I were to do it all over again, I would not choose new construction. I would at least find a newly constructed home and buy that instead of stressing for a whole year throughout the whole construction process and loan process as seeing rates increase in the market we faced. The fear of signing the contract and having to back out because of rate increases was no longer affordable and just losing our deposit.

All around people's communication skills were lacking and the homes are WAY overpriced for the quality you get. They are really taking advantage of the market situation to basically rob people. Also the "planned community center" is a joke! Way too small for a communities that will have at least 108 homes or more.

We are very pleased with our new home. Many thanks to Dawn, Sergio and Kelly for always being "Johnny on the spot" for us. Whether it was a construction walk through, finish work questions or just opening the house so we could enjoy the afternoon on our patio - they were always available and very pleasant to work with.

KB Home is a great partner in your new construction home buying experience. We were so impressed that we're choosing them again to build a home for my in laws. It can be a scary process to buy a newly constructed home, but I have no regrets choosing KB Home.

I have bought 3 homes in the past 4.5 years and this by far was the best home buying experience I have ever had. I loved the options that I received for my home and I loved how knowledgeable and attentive the team of people working with me were. Ain't going to lie. We were very hesitant to buy from KB. We moved to SA in 1999. I had read about the legal troubles KB had in the early 2000s. This is our 4th home and have only used Continental/D.R Horton, and Pulte. After researching Top Builders in Texas/USA we saw that KB had made substantial gains in the industry and was in the top 10 on some of our searches.

Overall a great experience with KB, happy to had the opportunity to buy our first home with KB and the team that helped us to achieve it in the most clear and easy way possible, everybody did their part fabulously and that created a great sense of trust in the company and their goals towards the customer, definitely will buy another home from KB if the future dictates that.

My wife and I are very happy with our home. Initially there were concerns, but after having met with George, we are completely comfortable with any issues that have been or will arise as his support has been continually present throughout our time thus far. We are grateful to have him, please do not reassign George from our community.

KB Home built me a beautiful home and provided a stellar and professional experience along the way. I believe they provided a lot of options along the way to customize the home and empower the customer to design the home of their dreams.

The start of this process was met with challenges, having to deal with the loan officer. The walk through pointing out numerous problems that were never attended to or conveyed to who needed to make the repairs. Carpets throughout were stained. The inconvenience of the carpet replacement is huge! We have been living in chaos for nearly 2 months. I am about to pay a second mortgage and my brand new home is barely habitable. This is a major purchase and we have been treated like this is the standard. We can't have family or friends over to see our new home. This is not what we imagined. Let me add, for you to say, "be fair and accurate" in my response is insulting and leads to an assumption that I might lie. I was fair it could have been worse. I have been a fan of KB homes but I cannot recommend this builder.

This is our 4th home buying experience overall and first with KB Home. Communication is key for us and the KB Home staff are excellent. We were given weekly updates and photos of construction progress as well as community updates. Any questions were answered very quickly (usually within minutes). We used KBHS Home Loans and the process was seamless. The experience left us feeling very happy with our choice.

I had a wonderful experience with KB. The KB team from sales to the construction team was always very attentive and responsive. Any questions or concerns were always addressed with urgency. The team was approachable, friendly and really took time to acknowledge me as a new home buyer.

My only feedback is to train your staff to achieve service expectation levels the company expects. We could tell when a person had been with KB for years and when a person was NEW to the field and lack knowledge and training. Sandi ** sent us emails but never actually called us to introduce herself, not sure why send automated emails if not even a phone call could be made. Remember - You can teach any skill but if a person does not have the right attitude from the heart a company will not be successful. Hiring the correct talent is also important. Consider Guy **, Tone S and Mike as an example of exceptional customer service and maybe the ones to provide the training.

The KB Home staff made my first home buying experience easier than I imagined. The staff were very knowledgeable about the home building and buying process and answered all the questions I had along the way.

I came to KB Home skeptical of buying a tract instead of a custom home, and fretting about asking the HOA, "Daddy May I" before designing the exterior landscaping. KB made me a believer. Instead of pouring hundreds of thousands of dollars into making someone else's custom home into what I wanted, and worrying about hidden big problems, I started with a brand new place with one year warranties (or more) in case something breaks. So far, the HOA is reasonable, and I no longer have to worry about unattended dogs barking all night long like I suffered through with my former two-floor custom home.

From our first day of signing the contract all the way to the closing date it was great experience. We had a great team behind us. Amanda, Annie, Rachel, and Ruben were the super team. We could not have asked for anyone else. The team always had us updated with any new information about the house and always had a quick response when we had any concerns.

We have been looking for the last couple of years for a home, we drove by multiple KB site. Each sales person were knowledgeable and can direct us to where we can find the home we want. We were able to be directed to this location which we like a lot. It was closed to our son's school, close to our families and still giving us the feel of country side. The designs for KB Homes are exceptionally better than some competitors and the quality is excellent too. We did not experience any delays with construction and closing ended up being one month earlier than expected. KB Home Discriminates against disabled home buyers by not following the American with Disability act (ADA). They refused to do anything for my home and others. No small ramps, carpet removed, or doors widened. The carpet removed and doors widened was on the upgrade list, so we paid big bucks for it. How can a company so large get away with this? We live in the Buena Vista Complex in San Antonio.

I felt a helping hand in each stage of the Home Buying process. Starting from the day we visited and decided to move ahead to buy a home in that place, the sales people was very careful to set my expectation right at each stage. I found the sales folks (especially Liz) to be truthful, honest and straight forward. Phala went out of her way to make sure I get the mortgage in time before my interest rate lock expires. Another important fact is the folks internally also works with lot of co-ordination. Relaying messages and instructions to another person through another was always delivered promptly and properly. I got the home on time and the home was build completely to my satisfaction. Thank You

For buying my first house.. Even with all of the struggles I felt like the team was there to help explain everything to me. Overall experience with KB was ok. Me and my wife love our new home, however there are plenty of areas in which KB could improve such as better contracting practices, more oversight over their contractors and project area. For example my home was literally vandalized and all of the copper cables were CUT during the build process by someone who knew exactly what they were doing, they knew what to cut and where to make it a pain to repair and who took care of that? Dave!! (Thank You! Dave and Brent!!!) Thanks to them our home came out GREAT!

One of the key reasons I chose KB Home was the competitive price, ideal location, and the exceptional team. Their support was crucial. The location and design were excellent. Please consider building more in Stanton, CA, as many of my family members are interested in this area. I notice there is a lot of available land that could be acquired and developed. Thank you.

Sales team was great to work with but the construction crew and the follow-up warranty issues are unresponsive. Once we signed the closing documents, construction team disappeared and warranty team is unresponsive to needed updates to the new house.

Sales staff was excellent in communicating the progress of the home throughout its construction. After sales support is amazing which you would find hardly with builders. We knew what we were getting into when we decided to build with KB Home. There were some pleasant surprises, some materials used were above expected quality (LVLs) and the end readiness of the home. However KB Home promotes itself as an industry leading quality custom home builder. This is misleading and misrepresenting, traditionally custom homes have unlimited options and the homebuyer is in charge of final decisions, this is not the case with companies like KB Home and I wish they would market themselves in a different way. It was overall a good experience but there are plenty of areas for improvement. We are pretty satisfied with our home and we would likely choose KB Home over many other national builders.

As a first-time homebuyer, my experience with KB Home provided an excellent learning opportunity in reference to the home building and buying process. The experience was stressful at times, but overall..wonderful! I now look forward to being a first-time homeowner and homemaker.

As a 1st time homeowner you have so many emotions during the process but everyone in the KB team from start to finish provided quality personable customer services. Overall the experience was pretty good. In the beginning, it was very stressful for me because this was my first time buying a home, and was looking for a long time. But after talking with the sales counselor I got a better understanding of what I could get from getting a new build and the available special financing. I liked that I could put in a deposit and reserve a build to secure my spot and not lose out to a higher bidder. I would have liked the option to have blinds installed and a fridge also but not a deal breaker for sure.

We purchased a KB Home inventory home and had a wonderful experience. Our on-sight sales representative was knowledgeable and made sure we were aware of all of our options when searching for our home. Then our loan officer (we used KB Home Loans) was responsive and provided us options to meet our monthly payment goals. Lastly, our construction supervisor personally saw all of the touch ups done to completion so our home could be enjoyed to its fullest upon move in. It could not have been a smoother process.

This was our second home but the first newly built home and first KB Home. Unfortunately, it's not been satisfying. From the final walk through to the move-in and still, things are not complete that were promised to be completed. This actually is a great home for a first-time home buyer to get their foot in the door since the quality is not there and most first home buyers do not know what to look for in a home. For someone who owned a house before, this is not a great home. It feels like a fixer-upper.

Kb Home not only build homes but they build a friendly atmosphere. Building a home is stressful in general, but to have to build while in another state just added on to the stress, but Kb Home was ready for the challenge and handled the situation with grace.

The whole process of purchasing this house was an 8 out of 10. Until we started receiving threats to close the house or face financial penalties, even tho the house was not ready. KB Home wanted their numbers to look strong for the end of the February quarter, so deemed it necessary to harass us to close before the house was completed. Prior to this encounter we were actively talking about buying the house next door to add to our portfolio. Due to this experience we will not be buying from KB Home ever again. Quality of the interior paint used was cheap and the workmanship on the interior door knobs was terrible (4 door knobs fell of within 2 week). Communication from our salesman and construction staff was superb. 10 out of 10. Overall build quality is 7 out of 10.

From the first visit to the sales office to getting the keys to my new house the entire process was top notch. I appreciated the open communication with all teams, sales, design studio, construction and customer service. They all take pride on their job and make you feel as you are the only customer they are working with. With all the delays and lack of communication/transparency our home buying experience was not positive. We had to stay with family due to the constant delay on the house. We did feel like the team was not aligned and it was a direct reflection of our frustration in the home buying process.

It really was a smooth experience, and the home seems to be built very well. The design of the home was perfect which is why I fell in love with the model I bought. The part I was most nervous about was fixing things after we closed and I got the keys. KB has been amazing though, and has gone above and beyond when it comes to helping me fix things. Even fixing things that wasn't their responsibility. Movers damaged my walls and broke a light fixture and they went out of their way to fix for me with no hassle and quickly. I can tell you how much that means to me. It's the one thing you worry about when buying a track style home. KB has definitely delivered.

Every decision made into building the home was carefully thought out and well explained so we could know the exact details of everything. Very easy and clear procedure to buy a house. It was not a difficult process even for me which was not used to EUA procedures to buy a house. John from sales and Ed ** from the construction side helped me a lot.

Home side of things was great with the sales staff (Cindy) and superintendent (Dustin). Any issues or small fixes we needed were addressed relatively quickly and responses were timely. The only downside of the entire process was the lending side of things. They need to be more proactive when providing details and explanations on documents and forms. We found many discrepancies or inaccurate info that we had to bring to the lenders attention only to be told "Oh yea, that's fine it will be corrected later." It would have been nice to have that info when they sent the forms in a more proactive manner so we didn't need to worry or question things. They also sent incorrect paperwork TWICE on closing day. My wife and I had to sign multiple documents several times and delayed our closing by quite a bit.

Home buying is a stressful experience, but KB (Lesley) was so helpful and worked well with us. KB made sure we closed by the date we wanted & was very communicative through the entire process. We love our new home.

Any home buying experience can be stressful. Once recognized that this KB Home is a semi-custom townhouse, it allows the builder to keep the cost at a reasonable level, which I appreciate. Then, one accepts the need to choose from established packages for upgrades and design items. That said, the sales and construction point people kept me up to date on progress and home was delivered without issues.

Sales staff- Julie definitely earned our 10 points as she was very engaged with our process and updated us on all events going on. We did not receive monthly correspondence from Gary and had to reach out and ask him ourselves for more regular updates as we were unsure of the process as first time home buyers and wanted to be a part of the process. Unfortunately we were not invited to participate in any of the build of our home under the guidance of Gary. We struggled with communication and lack of follow thru with Gary, which ultimately led to us considering walking away from our buy, however upon switching to Julie, she made it possible for us to visit our home, provided coffee and breakfast and on the day of our walk thru, she even provided a gift for our daughters. We truly appreciated the care and effort Julie put in to giving us a better experience as we closed on our home.

Our home buying experience with KB was impeccable. The staff not only was knowledgeable but made us feel confident with our purchase. They kept us informed every step of the way and made us feel like family which is hard to come by.

This was the 4th home that my husband and I have had built and I'm here to say that building a home with KB Home was a great experience from start to finish. They are the only builder that I've ever dealt with that has one model with NO upgrades. This allows you to see what their basic home could look like. Yet you can still add to the plan (of which they have many) to fit your needs and likes. Of course, with such a wonderful design center choosing finishes was so much fun. Dixie was terrific to work with and had some great suggestions. The construction superintendent, Teddy, kept us well inform regarding the progress of our house, sending us pictures and responding quickly to any questions or concerns we had. All in all, it was a great home building experience and my husband and I are so very pleased with the final product.

The overall experience was fairly smooth. With moving from Georgia, we thought that it would be a little more of a difficult process, but it's evident that the KB team works closely together to deliver a memorable experience. Very appreciative for their efforts and helping us get to the finish line.

I would never recommend anyone, not even an enemy, to buy a KB home. I don't believe any of the trades involved in the build were even technically acceptable. Maybe lowest price, but not technically acceptable. Why do you put in an insulated garage door in Texas, but not have "insulate it" as a garage finish out option, especially when three of the exterior garage walls are outside walls. KB threw in a garage door opener at an attempt to rectify its failure to satisfy any of the quality issues. There are other unsatisfied customers in the Deer Crest subdivision one of which has posted signage in the front yard. So bottom line: Don't buy a KB Home.

All personnel I interacted with were kind, knowledgeable, and respectful. Having no home buying experience, they walked me through everything and answer all questions I had. The process could not have go smoother.

House ended up exceeding our expectations. I think there were limited options for customization. Design choices were very limited on some items and somewhat overpriced but end product is worth what we paid for I think. Site layout was not fully explained and should have been. Exterior landscaping, grading and quality was less than expected. Driveway is very narrow and short for today's vehicles. Overall we are very happy but will do some additional work to make the house our home.

I bought my house with KB Home, and I am happy with it. In general the process was quite simple, however there are things to improve regarding the loans. The loan staff was not very friendly and professional. The house was delivered on time. I chose an inventory house, and due to my lack of knowledge of the materials, some time later I realized that the floor material was of very low quality.

Mr. Eli took over my home building and truly became a star with his work ethic, customer service, attention to detail and willingness to go the extra mile to get tasks done. He listened and explained himself very clearly throughout every update and met expectations 100% of the time, without Eli then maybe this build does not happen is my thought. I live in the Woodland Community in Simi Valley, CA. KB Home owns the undeveloped land adjacent to my house and a bunch of houses in my line. They’ve let their land become overgrown with weeds and don’t seem to want to take any action to remediate the issue despite reporting to them multiple times. The weeds are starting to encroach on my yard and all my neighbors’ yards.

The first step - Sales process went really well and Zaid ** did excellent job in explaining entire process very well. All steps by KB Home met on promised timelines without any delay. I am very happy with KB home.

This was our first new construction home and we could not be happier. Workmanship was top-notch. We expected maybe our home would not be as "pristine" as the models since those are usually "prettied up" to make sales, but we were blown away at the fine craftsmanship and attention to detail of our new KB home. The frame walk-through gave us insight on the construction workmanship behind the walls, and what is visible - sheetrock, paint, trim, doors, etc were all top notch. No unsightly seams, crooked edges, caulking smears...The KB staff were all courteous and professional, from sales, construction, to post-sale support. Very happy with our new KB Home!

During my recent purchase experience, I found their staff to be extremely helpful but that is where the good in KB stopped for me and my experience. My wife and I looked around for a long time and KB was the only developer that had the lot and or location we wanted. We looked at many custom home builders whose finished product was amazing, but the location was not what we were looking for. Of course, the KB models were finished nicely but that was not what we found in our new home. We recently sold a townhome built by Lennar and that was finished dramatically nicer that the KB home and the townhome was literally almost half the price.

You have some great people, some ok people and some who were not great to deal with and it really makes the process a process and not enjoyable. I would have liked to see more of the up front commitment to quality and not have to involve a VP to get answers and fair solutions to problems that arose.

KB is almost all about family. Laura and Jason continue to make me feel like family and that's what life is about. I'm glad I bought this house. I was treated like family by both of these individuals and treated like a great human being from the get go. I was made & felt special during this entire process! KB has a staff that makes the house buying experience smooth and satisfying. They seem to have carefully thought out their process and goals with the customer in mind, both in terms of creating and purchasing a house and in terms of nurturing a community. KB seems to care about the future of the customer to have a home and not just a house.

When we first signed the sales contract I was thinking of seeing if my mother would want to buy a house in the community and now, after everything, there's is no way I'd do that to anyone. The quality of materials and design are good, but the quality of installation is total trash. The homebuyer is responsible for finding problems with the build. God forbid you're not handy or knowledgeable of electricity, HVAC, or knowledgeable about general home maintenance. I found an electrical issue in the kitchen that could have killed someone. I mention this as an example of the lack of quality in the work in building the home.

Again!!! Thanks to ALL KB & Staffs. For making this possible for me and my family. We love the house - the area - especially the fountain views. But keep the pets under control please. Too much dogs and cats walking around at night.

It was great and everyone we worked with made this easy for the most part. We would have liked the backyard to be taken care of considering we have ditches, rocks and garbage. We have not been able to mow the backyard.

When purchasing a new home it is incumbent upon the builder to provide a finished product ideally resembling the corresponding model in design and construction. While this assumption is true, perfection is often inhibited by construction flaws caused inadvertently by workers on a construction project. Specific errors and omissions can be mitigated by the hiring of a licensed inspector that can review the progress of your home at various stages (e.g. framing, drywall, roofing, etc.). There is always without question a need for reliable, professional supervision at a workplace setting, and this is where Melissa **, KB Home's Construction Superintendent has excelled.

The KB Sales, Design and Construction Staff all made special efforts to see that our entire experience was as seamless as possible. We always felt our satisfaction was important to them. It is refreshing to experience customer service at this level. I highly recommend this builder for quality, competency and customer service.

The KB Home team is a great one because of their ability to quickly fix issues that come about. When building a house from start to finish it is expected that some type of issue will arise which is why it is essential to have a quality team that can fix any issues quickly. We always heard good things about KB homes and this is why we decided to purchase one. However, our purchase experience has not been excellent. As mentioned previously, we were told false statements that would have changed our plan to buy the house. The biggest was our concern about the street noise. We were told that the dual pane windows will block the noise and we would barely notice the sound. However, WE HEAR EVERY SINGLE CAR ALL DAY AND NIGHT! The windows don't block anything. We can also hear the food vendor's radio playing across the street. If we were told that we would still hear the street noise, we would have passed in buying the house. Also, we were told the house would be ready in Nov 2023. However, closing didn't happen until Jan 31, 2024. If we knew that closing was going to be two months later, we would have passed on the house.

We've decided to purchase a house because our contact is about to end. Visited many KB Homes but Belcarra was different and our foot really always ending up here, how the staff made it possible to be available just in time and gave us many options. All the staff and for all who catered us starting from the visit up until now they are welcoming and made our decision easier. Professionals and expert even in simple or single details.

The finance team is great! Todd was super helpful! The design studio personnel was super helpful on staying in price range and getting a cute outcome. Overall the building the inside of the home was exciting. Everything looked great. But the actual designing like the tile, floor, paint it seems like the people just rushed through the process and not care about the outcome. I feel like my floor has air bubbles when walking around, I can tell the difference from the texture and the wall sides, the paint looks bulky in some areas, when I mentioned a hole during the walk through, they "fixed" it but it is not fixed. It still looks like a punch in the wall.
