I had a positive experience overall, and while I do have several concerns regarding the mortgage process, I am ultimately very satisfied with my new house. The home itself has met my expectations and more, providing the comfort and features I was looking for. The construction team was attentive and dedicated, making the building process enjoyable.

I believe KB needs to improve its supplier selection. For instance, the solar provider SunPower has declared bankruptcy, yet KB still offers their products to buyers. This raises concerns about after-sales service, which feels neglected. Additionally, some of the building materials used could be of higher quality.

This is the first time I have had a home built. KB has kind, professional staff that walked me through the process step by step. I was able to select the finishes I wanted at their design studio where I was able to see what my choices would look like. This has been an amazing experience and my home is exactly what I wanted.

Overall, our home buying experience with KBH was exceptional. The house is excellently priced and features a well-designed floor plan, providing ample space for adjustments if desired, while still being cozy and roomy as it stands. The staff were just as amazing as the overall buying experience. The construction team, Gerry and Chris, gave us ample opportunities to explore every nook and cranny of the house, both inside and out. This made the home even more desirable and truly a place to call our own. Brad kept us updated almost every week, heightening our excitement as the house neared completion. Emily's practical and attractive design choices were invaluable, while Bobby made us feel relaxed and comfortable with our mortgage payments. We also know that Kyle has our back for any future issues, although we doubt there will be any major ones.

Once the sale was made, their commitment to quality and customer satisfaction never waivered. The knowledge and professionalism exhibited by all members of the KB Team we had the pleasure of dealing with was superb.

Excellent, made buying the house easy and struggle free. I will always be thankful for the team for making it easy. I always dreamed of owning a house of this size and with all the details/upgrades we got at a great value. Super happy with our choice to go with KB.

KB Home is a good company. I like how you can customize pretty much everything, the buying process is relatively easy and smooth and the community is located in a very nice area and the KB Home staff is very friendly and nice.

A buyer would be hard pressed to do any better, Jerry and Jose at KB Home Falling Water and their support staff are fantastic to work with and are only concerned about allowing you the best experience they can in the purchase of your new home.

I'm happy to have a home that we customized a pretty good amount - from the flooring to the color of the roof shingles! I never thought my first home purchase would be so close to a dream home-building experience.

The entire home buying experience so easy and enjoyable. I feel like the price of the home was well worth it, the lot is beautiful and the layouts that were offered were so much nicer than other builders. Prior to purchasing a new build home I thought it was going to be a very long experience with a lot of headaches but to my surprise it was the opposite. The one thing that I feel like sets KB Homes apart are the people they have on their team. From the people you interact with once or twice or the people who you work with throughout the entire process they are all great people who truly care.

Stephanie ** was awful. She was not good at her job. This whole process, everything else about KB HOME, is amazing except her. Her alone almost made we walk away from the home if her boss Lori and Eli didn't come to save me, she asked for K2 documents for a business I didn't own. For example (I have never owned a business before) she asked for multiple documents multiple times even though I sent them to her. She just would not check the email thread very well, come closing time she was still asking for documents. She forgot to tell me about the SAME DAY AS CLOSING like how does that even happen?

This was our first home purchase - KB Home's staff made this an 11/10 experience. When they talk about pride in the relationships they build with customers, they are not kidding. We also valued that at this price point, many builders are not offering customization options at the level of KB. Overall, we are very happy in our decision to work with KB Homes.

KB Home made our home buying process fun and enjoyable. Everyone we worked with was professional and helpful. After buying our first home with KB we knew we wanted to purchase another KB Home. The design choices and layout is exactly what we wanted. If we had a problem the contractors were quick to help. And if we had questions our Sales Rep was always ready to answer. We would absolutely buy another KB Home if we ever decide to move.

Communication from the start has been very informational and consistent. The bonuses for being part of the first wave of houses were great and definitely convinced me to go with a September build instead of waiting for the November or December. The buy down points and price were the thing that caught my eye in the first place and then the price was reduced, upgrades were cheaper than expected, and the rate was floated down to reflect market rates. While both communicated with me consistently, communication between the builder/sales and the lender could have been better. The lender's information on estimated closing dates was frequently outdated and sometimes didn't have paperwork about the buydown points.

Communication is the only thing I ask for. Eli, Dave, and Chris went above and beyond. Always keeping me informed of what is going on. Eric also was quick to help communicate concerns and questions to these guys as well. If I built another home, I would want Chris and Dave Building it and Eli helping with the financing. We love our home and where we live!

In general, it's a good experience. But We asked to move the outside air conditioning unit from back to either home side to reduce noise level because it is located just next to the master bedroom window. It's too loud when working. We both are seniors and are more sensitive to noise especially when we are sleeping at night. It's very disappointing that KB Home can't do it.

I felt like I was deceived with the time my home would be completed and when I was able to move in. The sales team knew I was on a tight timeline in order to not become homeless and they lied to me and said a house would be move in ready by July 3. After I gave my deposit and was in a contract then suddenly I could not move in until maybe end of August. I was offered a different location that was more expensive in order to adhere to my timeframe. The whole process was frustrating and then I discovered that my first location just sold for 30k less than what I paid. 100% Deception to lock me into a contract.

Sales associate we worked with was a nightmare. Used deceitful tactics to try to get us to use their lender. After multiple back and forth with the lender we were fed up and went with a private lender. We were not even sure about closing on time since KB Home continued to drag their feet on getting the process moving. Home was finished 4/2024. They stated AFTER we gave our deposit that they were unsure they could close with us by the end of September as we stated from the start we needed to due to selling our house.

KB home buying process was very fast and efficient. All questions were answered promptly and in great detail. The sales staff goes out of their way to provide information. The construction staff went out of their way to have the home ready by the closing date!

My experience with KB Home was great. They were very communicative and transparent regarding the buying process and the construction, and I enjoyed watching the home be built. I really like my house and have no problems with it.

My experience with KB Home has been very positive. I was not initially looking for a ranch-style home but my KB Home sales rep, Sue ** thought it would be good fit for me with where I am right now in my life and she was right! I love the style of the home and it feels so spacious. Kaisee was great at explaining the different stages of the building process and what to expect at each stage and explaining the warranty work process. Curtis was a big help to me in regards to making final selections. I went back and forth with a few choices and he remained patient and helpful.

I am totally satisfied with KB Home. Whatever services they have provided from start to end of my new home construction ex: construction manager Cody was more helpful throughout the process and mortgage officer Mary was also too good in explaining me about the questions related to loan.

Our experience with KB Home with our new home construction was very positive and the result turned out great. The time to build was reasonable and we were able to take ownership and move in when estimated at the start. The ability to choose options and the professionalism of the sales and construction staff was great and made it a fun experience.

Construction progress was slow. Also, closing was not on time. We had five different closing dates. We also had three different construction superintendents during our build process. Also, while the home was being constructed, it was very dirty, inside a lot of the workers ate and sat on top of the drywall. They really made a mess. It was very rarely cleaned. It started to stink actually inside the garage. The floor was very dirty. When we took possession of the home. It was still dirty. Also, the painting was very poorly done. We still have a lot of little small issues with the home. There's a lot of little things that need to be done. KB needs to take a better hold on the construction process and also when they present you with the keys to a new home, it needs to look and smell new.

Brian ** was great very detailed, no high-pressure sales tactics, very respectful and friendly, goes the extra mile. KB studio was also a great experience, spent like 3 hours there designing, and showing us the product colors etc. The Tyler ** was awesome, kept us up to date, always addressed and fixed any issues, friendly and trustworthy. Sent us pictures every week.

The whole experience was very pleasant. We live 1200 miles away and the home KB built for us will be our retirement home. We are kind of hands on so being so far away was difficult, but between Theo and John calling us with updates and sending us pictures and videos as well as answering any and all of our questions, no matter what the subject matter, made the process so much easier. Mark and Alex from the finance side were awesome as well. Great communication and always willing to spend some extra time making sure we understood everything.

KB Home provided a great service to us. All their staff are very knowledgeable and professional. They delivered the house on time without any issues. Would recommend to anyone specially to first time home buyers if you want to have a smooth process.

Overall, I really appreciated our experience with KB Home. There were parts of our process in which, when I told others how communicative and involved the staff were, they were surprised that KB was going out of the way to do that. For example, we had weekly updates for construction of the house and the plans for that week. The staff was also genuinely wanting to do a good job and seemed to care about what we wanted in our home. I felt that they were honest and transparent about a lot of aspects of the home. Therefore, I know my home was already in good care throughout the home-buying process - before, during, and even after construction.

It was a wonderful experience to pick out the details of our new home from start to finish. We are now in our dream home, living our best lives. Our construction superintendent was amazing to work with and made sure we got exactly what we wanted. Highly recommend!

KB Homes provides 5 star services. From first browsing their wonderful website, to sticking your key in the door! Everyone throughout the whole process is here to help you, and will go to great lengths to do so. This is probably the best service I have ever received from any company. You are the most important person until you sign the sales contract. After that you have to beg to be heard or have items addressed. The communication is some of the worst I have dealt with in any buying experience. If I could go back in time I would have gone elsewhere.

Our overall experience working with KB Home has been stressful and felt disorganized and unnecessarily cumbersome. Addressing warranty issues has taken longer than would be expected and ongoing construction activities have caused some inconvenience. The construction sites of other developers in the community look to be much cleaner and better organized. Additionally, the staff of other developers were much more knowledgeable about the sales process and about the community in general.

KB has been such a great builder from start to finish and they always provided us with what we've needed. Even with a few outstanding requests that we have to submit with time, I'm confident that the team will provide the best service.

We were fortunate that Michelle was the salesperson we met upon entering the KB Home model. She listened to our concerns and provided the exact information we needed. Another selling point with KB Homes is that we were allowed to make our own choices for the interior; a major point for us. Michelle kept us updated with weekly videos showing the progress. Then Dustin joined and between Michelle and Dustin, I felt very confident with the build. Both Michelle and Dustin continue to offer support now that we have moved into our new house. We are very excited about our neighborhood and making the KB House a home.

It is an experience watching a new subdivision come into existence. We were number 3 move in. So many items were a learning curve such as city approval, internet service, mail and package delivery, trash service but the KB staff did their best to help us. I am thankful you landscaped the front yard but I wish the back were also finished.

Overall we are very happy with our new KB Home and would say that our experience with the sales, construction and customer service teams were excellent throughout. We probably should have looked at the additional options in more detail to better customize our end result, and may end up doing some things ourselves in the end as a result. These homes are spacious with great amenities, and represent a great value for the money, especially over the long term.

Our general experience with KB was great. There are certain individuals like Ms Melanie ** and Mr ** from lending dept that are excellent with their work and has made our experience with buying process worthwhile. We also would like to thank Mr ** and Brad from sales.

Their liquidated damages clause is crazy. Gives them the right to keep a potential buyer’s deposit, no matter what the situation. My wife and I fell in love with a home that they had already built, but we had to be contingent on selling our house. Initially the sales agent said they could make that work, but when he sent over the contract it was clear that if we couldn’t perform for any reason they could keep my $10K deposit as liquidated damages. He kept assuring me (verbally only) that they would refund my deposit if we couldn’t sell our house or something, but he was unwilling to reflect that sentiment in the contract.

Don't ask for the upgrades difference before closing. That's what earnest money is for. That is unethical. For ex if my pre qual is for 400k and after upgrades it's 450k the difference (50k) should be paid at closing not after the design studio. I have never had to do it this way including my prior KB purchase and I think it's an unethical way to keep people to stick to a contract. In a home sale that's what earnest money is for to protect seller.

KB Home buying experience was so smooth. The sales staff Ingrid was very knowledgeable and gave us frequent updates. Chris the construction manager was very thorough and professional. We are so excited about our new home!

The turnaround time for our new build to be complete was within the timeframe explained to us during the sales process. However, after the final inspection, we realized how much poor quality craftsmanship there was in order to rush the job to completion. We would�ve rather waited longer to get a better quality home that was done right the first time, than have it built sooner.

KB Home produces a quality product. I'm very happy with my home. I was fortunate enough to purchase a model. The sales and construction teams were great to work with, responsive enough for my needs, and able to accommodate me with the timeframe of my move. I stuck with the lending team due to the incentives being offered to use their lending but cannot recommend them - the loan originator did not keep up with the construction team to be prepared to close and got surprised by the scheduling of the close date when it was a month earlier than the placedholder date put in 4 months previously when I signed the contact. There was a lack of communication and responsiveness, and no verification of the dollar amount I was putting down despite me communicating I wanted to do more than the minimum, so my payment is higher than expected.

The Staff at KB Home have been nothing but wonderful and professional. They take the time to check up on us to see if we are in good shape and have settled in. I can't thank you enough for how pleasant you all have made it for us.

This was my first experience buying a home, which can typically be very daunting. It was great! My parents bought with KB Homes back in the late 90's and one of the positives I saw with them as a builder. They have had very limited issues with the home and have been in it since that time. The quality of the homes still holds up and the staff is still very friendly and well-informed!

KB Homes made a joking comment 15 years ago a reality. My mother and I visited Las Vegas in 2009 and said if we ever moved again, it would be to Las Vegas. Well, that day finally came, and after looking at already-built and lived-in homes, we knew a new home would be our best bet. I would see KB homes popping up on my Zillow feed and look them over occasionally. But a big disappointment pushed us to build, and we made an appointment to see a model. We fell in love the moment we walked into the model, and then when we were told the lot the saleswoman had selected, we instantly felt at home when standing on it.

The sales agent welcomed me in to take a tour without any commitment then introduced me to the options to build base on my budget. The loan officer was very helpful and provided me with the best information and what I could qualified for after the purchase contract was signed. I went to studio to choose and make changes base on my essential needs ,I loved it. After that, the house started getting built and it was matter of a couple of months to see my dream house getting ready to move in. Very satisfied with the whole process of buying my house, now I'm part of the KB Home Family.

The staff from the sales office all the way to the construction team were always friendly, approachable, professional and reliable. You feel like a part of their family as soon as you walk in the doors. They were always willing to answer questions about any part of the process. I truly enjoyed the weekly updates throughout the construction process including the pictures. We have never owned a brand new house before. We went into this skeptical but excited as the experience is completely different from purchasing a pre owned house. We have great experience in acquiring our first home through KB Home. The KB Home purchase experience was great. Communication was regular (weekly) and informative. Doing all pieces (construction, lending, insurance) through KB was convenient and much less expensive than going through other parties.

Overall, the experience with KB Home the last 8 months has been great. Stressful at time, but overall great. I think KB has people and processes in the right place. KB offers really great selections of upgrades and Lender credit that other lenders could not beat. We bought our home in 2024 when the economy tough, and KB worked with us to get us a solution that works through their lender which saved us a lot of money. We got to choose a lot that we loved in the community so that was also a plus.

We had a great experience working with KB Home. This is our first home purchase, and Carly worked well with us and answered the questions we had. The Design studio was fun and easy for us, as we have similar tastes. We had a good time choosing the different aspects to our home, and were given reasons why we might or might not want to make certain design choices. Sean was our construction super, and he was also great when we had questions. They called most every week to give us updates on the home while it was being built, gave us the chance to ask any questions, and Carly would text photos as well of the home. Sean was great at keeping on schedule which was important to us, as we wanted to move in by a certain time. There had been a mistake in which type of tub we wanted, the wrong one was installed, but I fortunately noticed, and it was fixed quickly.

Worst home buying experience. Sales staff was good, everything else not so good. Home was not ready for final inspection numerous times. Finally, I settled with the reassurance from construction manager minor fixes would get resolved in day of closing. They weren't. To numerous days off from work when told contractors would stop by to fix issues, they didn't. This was at San Antonio Tierra Buena.

Sales team was not knowledgeable about the size homes that can go on each property. They did not have good communication. We are overall satisfied with our home, but KB made the home buying experience unenjoyable.

We had an amazing experience purchasing our new home with KB. Everyone from the sales staff and design and construction were very knowledgeable and friendly. We would for sure buy another home thru KB.

Their quality of craftsmanship is mediocre. Recommend having a professional inspector be involved through the construction process as the inspection process is questionable. Also, they use cheap products, such as paint and flooring. Some issues include nail pops (10-20) showing up through the house, a lose banister, poor backyard grating, and seems like no insulation between the floors. Reported issues have not been fixed to date even though we are on warranty. The service after the purchase is initially great but slowly falls off and they ignore you--seems like they want the good 30-day review and they move on. Requires lots of follow up by the customer. Should be the other way and they should follow up with the customer.

All the people at KB Home worked so well and seamless with each other that before you know it you're moving into your own home that you designed. Overall it was a good experience. You get to choose your colors, etc. to make your home your own. The people at the design studio are wonderful. The base price of the home is great but once you see what is not included and what you really want to add it goes up in price quickly. It would be nice to add some more items to the home without it being an upgrade. Gutters should be a basic that really should come with the home. But great neighborhood, quiet so far. I recommend it for families.

Not only informing us of everything about the house but blue taping things that needed to be fixed. I was doubtful KB was going to get everything done in 3 days but all of our issues were resolved and we had keys in hand that afternoon.

My wife and I love our new home. Any concerns are pretty minor. We would have no problems recommending KB to others or considering KB again if we were ever in the market for another home. Our home was already built and up for sale on the market, so we did not participate in the design process, but we felt that the design choices made for this home were chosen wisely. There are a lot of modern features that left us impressed. The home is very energy efficient as well. Our solar panels are producing more energy than we are consuming in a day, and this is while running the AC throughout a very hot summer. The buying process was excellent as well.
