We worked with Kris from KB Home. She was our realtor. Our home process was fine until towards the end there were lots of lack of communication. She then quit with the company which I think was unprofessional because we still didn’t get to close on the house and we were lost and confused that our realtor quit. Especially as a first time homebuyer not knowing who was going to take over. We expected at least flowers, balloons when we closed and got our keys. We didn’t get anything just our keys. Also the studio appointment that we had to pick out what we wanted went seamlessly smooth until it came to revision of the paperwork with Deb that we had to sign over 10 times because the paperwork was wrong and the prices wasn’t correct.

The home buying process can be very daunting but the entire KB team made the process easy and straightforward.

From the moment I viewed the homes with Micheal ** to the moment I closed escrow, everything was great. Attitudes were professional and kindness was abundant! My loan agents Elke ** and Debra ** were both professional and courteous. Debra was pivotal in letting me know what was needed and walking me through the loan process with expertise and kindness! She is definitely a jewel to the KB Home experience!

They should be more clear and transparent at the closing, they promised things that they can’t do and closing and experience at the closing was not too good. Warranties they should act faster in responses and problems solving.

Overall it was a great experience. There were a couple bumps here and there between construction super handoffs, communication breakdowns, and contractor/vendor timeliness but if I take a step back and remember that we do not live in a perfect world, I honestly felt this process and experience was significantly better than expected and more than what most folks would get.

The home building process is an exciting and scary part of your life, but the KB team is topnotch and made sure we had a great experience. You only buy your first home once, and I would not trade our experience with KB for any other manufacturer.

The experience was exceptional especially since this is the first time I am buying a home and KB made it my family’s dream home.

My wife and I experience with building our home through KB HOME was great. Obviously with the process like this there’s gonna be bumps in the road, but Brandon and Theo did everything in their power to make sure we were taken care of and communicated with a timely manner.

I’m very happy with the quality of the home and how everything has come together. There have been a few minor items along the way, but they’ve been addressed professionally. Reassuring. More important than getting things right the first time, is getting things right the second time. Our home-buying process was an adventure, which will be true wherever you go. But KB Home-Gateway has maintained our trust because of the ability to provide persons that overcome obstacles. And trust, for a moment in life this big, is number one.

We’ve bought a few new homes over the decades and we were pleasantly surprised at how KB Home made sure we’re happy with our purchase, during and especially after. It wasn't expected but we’re happy to receive.

I only give a perfect score because of experience that your construction c manager Joe, Rachel for finance and sales rep Gabby and Dominique were amazing and excellent. Your management team needs more learning and improvement with their customer service and professionalism. My recommendation is to send your management team in customer service education like Disney. Their attitude is heartless.

Very easy process, no surprises, great communication and questions always answered, plus a very nice well built home. Very happy with my purchase. Love this house.

It has been a great learning experience for us, especially since this was our first time purchasing a home. Thanks to Katrina and Brad, the entire process was much easier and far less stressful than I had imagined it would be. Their patience, honesty, and guidance throughout the process made a significant difference. We truly appreciate everything they did to help make our first home-buying experience such a positive and memorable one.

If I could leave zero stars I would. My experience with KB Home has been extremely disappointing. The customer service has been consistently poor, with inadequate communication, slow follow-up, and little urgency in addressing concerns. Instead of receiving helpful support, I have repeatedly felt dismissed and left to manage problems that should have been resolved promptly and professionally. We have lived in this new-build home for only three years, yet we have already experienced numerous problems, including leaking gas valves, leaking furnaces, and other appliance-related issues. These concerns have gone well beyond minor inconveniences and have raised serious questions about the quality of the installation, workmanship, oversight, and attention to detail. For a relatively new home, I expected the appliances and major systems to be installed correctly, operate safely, and be thoroughly inspected.

I would 100% recommend purchasing a KB Home. The amount of personalization to each home is unmatched compared to other builders. Getting the right team goes a really really really long way.

KB sales agent was awful, he was late to our first meeting, and after that it just continued downhill. He made several mistakes and hardly ever kept me informed or could answer my questions. This is my first home purchase so I had many questions. Fortunately I had Danny and Melva in my corner to answer any and all of my questions. They took amazing care of me and my family and they are the two then deserve the ten stars! Not my sales agent!

Overall we are very happy with our KB home. There were a few frustrations in the process, but nothing major. It was fun watching the process unfold before our eyes. The communication from start to finish has been impeccable and we found ease when working with everyone apart of the KB team. We would highly recommend KB to friends and family (we actually already have brought over 4 student family's to KB.) We love our new home and are so happy we chose to go with this builder. I purchased through KB because my daughter did so in Sacramento and really enjoyed the experience. I enjoyed this experience as well. I have owned 4 homes and this experience has been the best.

Through this process, we have made new friends. Our "team", from sales (Goran) to the builder (Tony) to the design (Tyler), to the mortgage process (Tom) and all others that comprised the team, did an amazing job with our home.

Customer service and handoff needs significant improvement, cost of home vs quality of home and home building experience differs greatly, people who are spending this much money on a home deserve to receive proper quality and build of their homes not cheap materials and corners being cut, customers deserve much better respect overall.

It was nice to customize our options in the house and not just have to pick one that was already built.

See previous comment. Furthermore, while I understand that we live in an active construction zone, the workers in this subdivision are particularly messy, and make living here quite difficult. I’ve picked up dozens of nails from the road, hoping that none puncture my car tires. Also, none of the workers are doing anything to control fugitive dust. They create giant dust clouds that completely cover all the homes and cars in the neighborhood, while not hosing the dirt down to reduce dust. I get that houses need to be built and work needs to be done, but the residents of this neighborhood also have to live here, and shouldn’t have to worry about unsafe levels of dust in the air and on property.
