KB Home has been a great 1st time home buyer experience. At first, I couldn't fathom that we could afford to have a brand new house built from the ground up but KB Home has a home for any price point. I love my home and the building process has been stress free. I would totally do it again if I could!

Prior to selecting KB homes, we visited and searched for the perfect home. We found houses that were way off base and some that were close. Were they perfect? No. We had a list of items that we wanted in our house and with each home we saw, we had to remove key items from the list. Finally we came to the option to build and when that occurred, the puzzle pieces came together and we have what we consider our dream home. Customized to our needs, we are still in awe that it is ours and we are living in it. Customization with great service is the key to KB success.

I may not buy KB in the future. The sales and lending team were not communicative with us in how the process was going along. We had to call and follow up with them. The Construction Supervisor was the best part of our experience.

Our overall experience with KB Home was amazing. From the sales staff, to the design staff, to the mortgage staff, to the construction staff we felt welcome at first meeting and became close by the time construction ended. They were always available and ready to answer any and all questions and being first time home buyers we had a lot! I would recommend KB Home to all of my family and friends looking to build.

Had a great experience home shopping but instantly we fell in love with the community. Madeline showed us the home and gave us great information when finding the right home for us. I would recommend this company and area if you ever decided to need to find a house.

We purchased our home in May 2016 and in December we decided to get screening in backyard so we put in request for HOA permit and also requested them to trim the tree that covers 80 percent of our backyard. The tree is on the builders property. Fast forward February 2017 they sent their landscaping people three times to confirm how much need to be trimmed and we also sent them pictures per their request. They approved and said it will be taken care of. Finally they arrived one day to trim the tree when we were at work. They removed only the dead tree and did not trim the branches over our property. When I contacted them they told that they had miscommunication on their end. How can you have miscommunication after 3 visits and photos.

I have a great experience buy house with KB Home. A great customer service. Great price. I recommend to my friends. Georgeann ** doing a great job explain each part of that contract. They have a excellent community and a beautiful house. Thank Georgeann.

First of all KB has the best quality in all aspects! We really enjoyed buying our house at KB, they really help us during the entire process! They explained every single feature that the house had and most importantly their customer service was amazing, they exceeded our expectations!

Good customer service and sales rep was very friendly and helpful. We were very fortunate to have the opportunity to meet and go through our walk through with the VP of Operations who was very friendly and followed through to make sure we were taken care of and that our needs were met. Very appreciative to work with people with great customer service. Almost perfect.

KB offers affordable homes and in my experience great service. Our salesperson was always quick to answer any of our many questions, and our builder went above and beyond to make sure our home was what it was intended to be, even after we had signed and moved in. They don't just leave you alone, they want to see you satisfied and strive to earn that satisfaction. I live in the Boerne area, and our house has appraised for 40,000 over what we paid for it before we ever moved in. We are so happy with all our space, the 2898 model has a dream kitchen and an open concept for the living space.

The process of purchasing my home was excellent in that I had professional people doing their job. Their job performance made the process almost non-stressful. Through the whole process we were treated not like a customer but rather as a friend. That was very important. From the sales department to the lending and through the closing, we were treated professionally and courteously. Something that you do not find everyday in the business world.

Everything was wonderful. I can't say nothing negative about the service. Every time I ask questions someone answer. Every time I had a problem someone answer. All the wonderful people that I work with help me in every way so in saying that I had a very good experience with KB Homes my salesperson, my Builder, my loan officer and my closing crew was great. I am very Happy with KB Home. My experience was very good, they help me up with everything that I needed and the most important thing they have bilingual staff. Buying my house with the staff that speak my own language that made me felt more comfortable to do it. Beside the excellent customer services, Mercy was always available to help, no matter what time or day I call her she was always answered all my question. Thank you Mercy and KB for your help.

I didn't expect to be a Homeowner this soon, but starting with Jenny, everyone at the design studio, Amanda at Primelending and Justin helped my dreams for my family come true and I am forever grateful.

The concrete in my basement utility room needs to be redone, it is inadequate, nonfunctional and unacceptable to me. My water softener leaked this weekend and due to the shoddy, unprofessional finishing of the concrete in that room, the water was shunted off into the wall which flooded my basement. I am now waiting on the restoration people to come and deal with the matter professionally. None of the leaked water drained into the drain in the center of the room, literally not one drop made it to the drain.

Our overall experience with KB Home is highly unsatisfactory, frustrating, and unpleasant. To relocate our home & businesses is in itself a challenging, hectic and stressful process. Purchasing a home should be a happy & worry-free time but this is not the case with KB Home. KB Home did not made us feel welcome!

My fiancee and I bought closed on a KB Home in May 2016. A hose in the kitchen that KB supplied and installed busted 5 months later!!! It flooded the entire house, except for one bedroom and one bathroom! The next day, KB had a few people including their preferred plumber come out to take a look at the damage, and they all stated the same thing... "Yeah, we put this here. It was obviously installed by us. It will be covered under warranty. No worries."

Above and beyond expectations. The treatment over from the KB Home team was unexpected and gratifying. I was wonderful to see the care and dedication of everyone. Everyone made the purchase of the house a smooth transition. I was truly impressed.

Jeremy ** was always available and handled all of my questions and concern in a very timely manner, even those outside of business hours and his daily work schedule. Ana ** took her time and was very patient with me and my family during all steps of the studio process. We seemed to have discussions and debates during EVERY area of the selections process Ms. ** kept a smile, was very knowledge about our selections, and offered great advice to resolve our issues. Edwin ** has been available and taken care of any issues I may have thought I had. He has always been patient and walked me through any steps I needed to understand the working of my new home. I am very pleased and have/would recommend this team to anyone.

This is our very first brand new home and the experience in purchasing was great. We love the quiet neighborhood that we live in and even though construction is happening the sites are very orderly and the workers seem professional hard working. We are satisfied with our purchase. Sales was pretty decent, would not say 5 star decent as if I didn't directly follow up I almost never got a call back. Construction team never called once and there were multiple construction delays. Was not given closing costs until day of, after closing being moved 3 times, twice I was told on the same day it was scheduled.

Give KB an opportunity to surprise you; you'll be glad you did! We had an amazing experience and each person at every level, beginning to end, loved what they did. Thus, it made it very easy for to fall in love the process and ultimately our home. Kudos, cheers, and fond memories to come...

We had a great experience with all the staff and the process. Like I said earlier, I feel some of the small details of the home like trim and paint etc are not done to perfection. I have a perfectionist eye and those little imperfections do bug me.

We were very pleased with the product knowledge of the sales staff and the overall experience purchasing our home. After visiting with a lot of developments in the area KB made it easy to choose them. We would certainly recommend.

My experience has been nothing short of fantastic and hopefully with the some good numbers I will be a first time home buyer with KB homes. I have been assisted by Sweeta and she is phenomenal, knowledge, experience and customer courtesy is brilliant - I will recommend Kb homes and herself to all my friends and colleagues also in my community.

While KB builds a good home, if anything goes wrong, they will not follow up. For many months we have been trying to get 28 cracked, chipped tiles repaired. We have had dates set for repair, no show, repeated phone calls to the project manager (he's a joke) won't take any calls from us. Now there's a joke. And yesterday when talking to corporate, Brittany said WE need to go to Orlando to the only place that still has tiles. We have to pay for them, no reimburse them and then KB will fix all 28 tiles. Maybe. I would not ever recommend KB Homes to anyone EVER!

I am a second KB Home buyer. I was satisfied with my first purchase and decided to upgrade and get a larger house. I have had this house for 8 years and I am 100% dissatisfied. I started reporting problems the first year while the house was under warranty. The problems continued. I have reported roof leaks that KB did do some repairs on year 3 because they saw some issues with the quality. I reported more leaks and KB did send someone to repair but did repair the inside drywall problems. I have French doors that have been leaking for years into my house and KB will do nothing because it's past the warranty. I have had several contractors tell me that the outside should have an overhang to block rain or snow. KB sent out someone to fix the several leak in my roof. I asked them to look at the French doors and they told me that even if I replace the French doors the problem will happen again within a couple of years.

My husband and I bought our home in 2010. Our street was one of the last built in our neighborhood and construction wrapped up in 2011. Shortly after, KB Homes left the state of South Carolina, which made it extremely difficult to contact anyone. We had to jump through hoops to get our 1 year walkthrough completed and have had multiple issues. Our garage door was not installed properly (which seems to be a consensus throughout the neighborhood) and does not work. The linoleum in our kitchen is peeling up and every time I vacuum, a ton of staples come out of our carpet. All of this is frustrating, but the biggest issue involves our neighborhood streets. When KB left the state, they did not properly turn the streets over to the Town. And we have spent over 2 years trying to get the potholes and sinkholes in our roads fixed. Because the roads were still privately owned, the Town could not repair the damage.

Thank you Rob ** for taking the time to explain the Windrose in Fremont. He was patient in answering my questions and followed up with emails with no pressure for me buy. He truly understood what I was looking for in my next house.

If I could describe my overall experience with KB Home in one word, it would be exceptional. Every single person that I came in contact with was very helpful and friendly from Ray in the Sales office to Bill and Kullen in construction. Any and all questions that I had were answered promptly and thoroughly. As a first time home buyer we felt it was very important that we knew what was going on and your team did not let us down. I cannot say enough about how wonderful the team at KB is and we love our new home. Thank you!

My home buying experience with KB Home has been fun and interactive. Working with the sales, construction, design and even the warranty service was all great. I hope the preferred lender has improved. In the meantime, I know that there's been some transition and hopefully they've received the training and there won't be any delays.

Completely satisfied. The process of home buying was made easy for me by KB Homes. From the home inception to the finished product. What you had seen in the virtual tour comes close to the actual home that I now live in.

Overall our experience with KB homes was great. The design center was great like anything else you have to know our budget and our rep was great about telling us what was a good investment and would be ok to do later. Sale rep was great. Would send pictures anytime anything was done. The only downside is that it has now been 30 days since closing and we still have some touch ups that need to be done but I have been told that is normal. Sometimes it may take a while. They were very busy in November with closings.

KB Home is a very good company. If someone wants to buy a house, KB Home is a pretty good option. They follow through with whatever they promise you.

As a first time buyer, was not really sure what to expect coming in, not only buying a house, but building one, and expecting there to be delays, and horror stories. I could not have been happier with KB and the whole experience. The house is very high quality, and the construction was completed ahead of schedule. KB Homes are beautiful homes. The whole process could have flowed better. However, now that we are in our new home we are very pleased with the end product. We liked being able to go to the KB Studio and giving our home our own personal touch.

After initially looking at reviews for KB everything looked ok but after going through the process I can see how reviews are askew. After taking delivery of the home they bribe you with a free garage door opener (should be included??) to give them a favorable review. Years later more and more problems seem to arrive on a newer home. From water damage due to them not sealing any of the water areas in either bathroom to poor grading in the yard.

I got to say that this was the worse experience I have ever had buying a house. In our contract it said that we would have a pre-sheet rock inspection, which we were called to do but when we showed up we were informed that they had decided to sheet rock the house three days before. We had seeing some issues in our walkthroughs. We did and wanted it to be fixed before they put the sheet rock and we had some more questions, that was negated to us as they had put the sheet rock. The other issue was that in the master bathroom the tub and the shower were full with what looked like rain water, even though that this bathroom was in the first floor, there was also garbage in the master tub, we requested it to be replaced as it looked awful, they told us that they would clean them, and so they did but they were all scratched and we still requested them to be replaced.

Buying a brand new home is supposed to be a wonderful experience. Our home buying has been the worst experience ever from day one. Our home was not ready when promised, so the date slipped. Then when the final walk was scheduled, we were asked if we could leave for about an hour or so. They said they were still cleaning the house. This was a lie. The double ovens and dishwasher hadn't even arrived yet. The tile in both bathrooms around the sink was being installed during our walk. We had never bought a new home before and didn't realize that we shouldn't have signed off on the home. We were guaranteed that everything that was wrong with the home would be fixed and not to worry about it. It appears they needed escrow to close that day. It was the last day of September.

Overall experience with KB is excellent. They make sure our home is being constructed in their most professional way and being delivered on time. Because of KB home team, we were able to celebrate this year holiday in our new home.

We are two very happy homeowners!!! From the very start we were impressed. Entering the sales office and models, we fell in love with the Marlow plan. Our salesperson Kelly was very helpful. Our reason for choosing to build with KB Home is not only because of the quality construction but the people we knew we would be working with. I'm a Realtor and have worked with many of the KB Home staff before. Customer service is #1 for us! Knowing we would be taken care of throughout the process was a huge relief during a stressful time for anyone building a new home.

For the money we're spending to have this home the workmanship has to come up. Attention to detail is not there, light paint and dark paint, seems like a dusty white primer on the walls. You touch them too hard and they chip, caulking crooked inside and on patio around window frames, see nail heads on patio ceiling. They really should send a small repair team out about three months after residents close, because after the excitement goes away you can see much clearer...

When we started looking for houses, we were looking for several options. And the most accessible and very good quality was KB Home. We started looking for the best option in these houses. And then, when we took a look a little bit more in detail, the experience and the price for value of the house is very attractive for us. We feel very comfortable picking the house with KB Home. It was the best experience for me.

The KB Home salesman gave promises on the features of the house that they probably didn’t know if I can have or not. But they did anything to try to push the house. However, their design center won't let me change it. I'm stuck with whatever they told me. They pushed me out or told me things like they don't know what kind of tile or what fabric goes somewhere, but they just need to look it up and tell me. They didn't double check what the actual features of the house were going to be to make sure it was perfect. I had to wait until the pre-construction meeting to find out that what they told me about the features was wrong and it was gonna be something else. I had to pay extra if I wanted what I originally thought I was gonna get.

So far we have had nothing but a very positive experience with KB. Debbie and Steve have been absolutely wonderful especially since we don't live close. They have still continued to make the process smooth and been a huge help! We appreciate everything they have done for us. :)

I've had an excellent experience with the KB sales office staff as well as their in-house lender. They were honest and straightforward, and very professional. I would encourage anyone looking for a new home to consider KB Home as their first choice. I'm pleased with the living square footage as well as the lot size provided in the purchase.

I can't praise the sales team and construction manager enough. I believe they were a Godsend especially to a first-time home buyer that has heard a lot of horror stories about buying a home. They definitely made my experience very pleasurable and I will recommend KB and the sales team over and over again as well as my outside lender Legacy Mutual for everything have done for me and my family. All three of these teams have made it possible for myself and I'm sure many other families to have the dream of home ownership a reality.

Affordable, Fast, Great customer service. KB gives you exactly what they promise, a fast and affordable home without cutting corners. I will definitely recommend KB Home to anyone I know building or buying.

KB messed up quite a few small things around the house and definitely did not use proper construction for Florida around the ENTIRE community. Right now I have water intrusion causing rusting and paint to fall apart on the front of my home. However, even though this is faulty construction and design, KB denies the warranty since it isn't structural damage. They have lost a lawsuit in Florida for their warranty denials among other things. All I can say is I'd definitely look to another more reputable builder who stands firmly behind their product and construction. You or your HOA will end up spending a lot of money to fix KB shortcuts. I am still attempting to get them to fix my home which would cost around $5000 after less than 7 years. You get what you pay for. As far as sales and service and during construction, all was great. I mean after all you did just purchase a home and they made a sale so expect that part to be wonderful.

Overall experience was excellent. Some people rush and hurry, but if they want the professional experience and everything on that aspect, they have to give KB Home the time they need to do the work. Don't be in a rush since that’s when people end up with the shabby work in some of the problems that I’ve run into. KB Home needs the proper amount of time for the proper quality that people deserve.

Attempting to purchase a home in Almond Ridge, CA. Original estimated close of Escrow was Oct. 31st. Close of Escrow letter issued by KB Homes for Nov. 30th. We discovered by sheer fluke they were not going to make that. Still no close date and agent is completely dishonest in her dealings, no concern with customer service whatsoever, she takes no responsibility for anything. Still waiting to find out how we claim the expenses we will incur while they continue to mess us about. Also totally unwilling to provide senior management contact details - just a number to a title-less mail box. Now they have a "Home for the Holidays" marketing campaign - Thanksgiving 2018 maybe!

With this being our first home purchase, KB Home was very helpful. The sales staff were pretty helpful and knowledgeable about first homeowner purchases, especially for military. They walked us through the steps of what we’re gonna need to prepare for. They're excellent for first time buyers.

KB Homes has resolved my initial issue of the home buying experience. I would like to name, LeMonte, Adrain, and Daniel and highly recommend that when buying a new construction home from KB in San Antonio, to specifically work with them if possible. They heard and empathized with my issues, they took the time to respectfully listen to my concerns as well as made sure they were properly addressed. Needless to say, although my initial experience with KB was rocky, due to prior issues, those named certainly made sure that I was properly taken care of. This has lead me to recommend them to anyone who is searching for a new home. I would also like to note the quality of the home and service I received was exceptional!

On October 31 after being on a high sales pressure and kept in an model home where the office was located for 8 hours, I signed all kinds of documents and got pre approved on the phone by the loan company that KB Home is working with, to purchase a home in Oak Harbor Punta Gorda Fl. The pre-approval letter (that by the way is from Sterns Lending, same address as KB Home Tampa) had a contingency for me to lease my VA property to my roommate. When I got home after my vacation on November 14, I found out that my roommate no longer was able to lease my property in VA.

I'm pretty happy with KB Home. The final experience was excellent. They were with me all the way. I appreciate Yolanda, John and Norm. They've been holding my hand, getting me through in finding the right lender and following up on the couple of little things that needed to be done. And they did all that within two days. Now I got a good home with excellent value in a nice neighborhood. I recommended them to one of my friends who is now buying a house because of my recommendation.

KB Home says they stand by their workmanship of the home, but that's not true. After moving in, closing the cost and signing all the papers, I found out that there’s more stuff in our house that weren't done correctly. They say production house will have time for it but it's not a million dollar home. There are builders out there who listen and better than KB. It was a sour experience.

They have knowledgeable staff and the construction crew was helpful. They provide good homes for the value. But the design portion needs updating, and they should look at a different lending company.

We recently purchased a move in ready home. It is our first home. Being new to this process we went in knowing nothing! The sales staff was very pleasant and helpful. The home is beautiful and very reasonably priced.

From the day we saw our home we were very impressed with the quality and workmanship of this house. The sales rep was very knowledgeable and gave us great information. KB Home was excellent, courteous, and knowledgeable. The staff was super sweet, and nice. They were also professionals, and knew what they were doing. The professionalism of the KB Home sales staff all the way to the construction staff was incredible. They're helpful and knowledgeable in what they’re selling. Also, they listened to our needs. We came and told the salesperson what we were looking for, she knew exactly what it was, and showed it to us. They were easy to talk to and they kept in great contact. They made it a very smooth and happy buying experience. There was never a question of, “What about this? What about that?”, with the house, and we got an incredible price. We bought four brand-new homes and we always walked past KB Home because they used to have a cookie-cutter reputation. But what they’ve done now stepped up their game. I’m extremely happy.

We own a condo, which we watched that go from start to finish as we get our new home. We had been looking at KB for several years around the city, chose this home, and are glad we did. Our experience was very wonderful being that it is our first home, and I would highly recommend KB.

From the customer sales office to the design, and all the way to construction, the representatives that we worked with at KB were very easy to work with, able to hold our hand through the process and guide us through the process of building our first home. And so they made the experience enjoyable and something we aren't going to be afraid to do again in the future. It's been an awesome and a family building experience as well because our kids were with us the whole time.

KB has great people. My wife has been really impressed with the person that we dealt with. I got to pick out and choose everything. It's different for us but it was through that process that mine one was already built.

It was the first time my wife and I were buying a house and KB Home made that experience more than what we even asked for. We were prepared for the whole process to be long, drawn out, and horrible. We had heard things about KB that weren't so great so we were a little nervous going into it. But none of those things proved to be true with our experience. KB Home did an outstanding job beginning from when we first signed the contract to when they gave us the key at closing. It was awesome.

There was no feeling of pressure or trying to upsell, which one sometimes gets with salesmen, during the whole process particularly when we saw the home and while walking through it with the salesman. He was very professional, conversational, and had answers to any question we had about anything.

For us being first time buyers, as soon as we walked in and started talking to Omar, he opened a lot of options to us. Three houses were already up and ready to go, and Omar showed us where we were able to get to, which house we loved and which one we'd like. We received consistently outstanding service and they were able to help us get this house from start to finish. The whole experience made us feel blessed. Thank you.

My overall experience was great from beginning to end. Everybody was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. They were right there when I called at any time. Everything was great. Overall it was a wonderful experience dealing with KB to get my home started and finished. KB is the way to go.

Lisa was very helpful and kind at telling us to get our credit fix, so we could one day own this house which we fell in love with. Lisa has been just a phone call away to answer my husband questions. After looking at approximately 40-50 homes, and visiting 8 builder sites, we looked at the KB homes and got the "WOW" feeling as we toured the model homes. In addition to the awesome sales staff, the home itself was beautiful. We also loved the ability to make changes to the original floor plans and create the home we wanted. The added ability to place the home we want, on the lot we want, where we want, was a huge selling point for us. I would strongly recommend KB Homes to anyone looking for their next home.

Overall, KB is good. They really do care about their reputation and will do what is needed to make you happy and fulfill your expectations as long as you voice your concerns. Do your homework before you go to the home studio so you know what is overpriced and what is priced fairly. Make sure you get an inspector for all phases and a real estate agent to make sure you are paying an amount that makes sense for your area. The home studio can be overwhelming but I went in with some pictures of what I like and their experts are ready to make it happen for you. You will have a good experience with KB if you remain engaged... which you will because your sales counselor will speak with you every week to make sure you are happy. My experience with Home Community Mortgage was my biggest issue but that wasn't KB's fault. Just a loan officer who did not care.

KB Home provided us with a team of sales associates and construction partners that made us glad we partnered with KB Home. Our team was patient and helped us through every single phase of the home buying process. They were patient, understanding, and truly listened to our wants and needs. At no point did I feel pressured or felt that our sales staff was pushing us a wrong direction. During and after the home purchase, our construction staff address all issues and have continued to support us.

KB provide a great new development with a beautiful lot, made for my dream house. The sale was smooth and personal and the personal touch of KB only became more visible in the attention and work ethics of our site manager. I would do this all over again, but I already am in my dream house now.

KB Home's a great buy and their sales staff was great to work with. They kept me informed the entire process. I previously lived in a new development where I had to replace several tires because nails were all over the place and the construction crew didn’t do a good job of cleaning up. On the other hand, KB Home was excellent. Their construction staff did a great job cleaning up after themselves.

Buying a home is a stressful and a wonderful experience. This was our first home purchase and we were understandably nervous and excited. Prior to selecting KB, as our homebuilder, we had combed through many of the local new home builders before we settled on KB. Our family fell in love with the layout of the Alexa model, but when we found out it was energy efficient, we were sold! We relocated from the Bay Area to the Sacramento area. All the employees: Sales Counselor, Design Center, Construction, and Post Construction all have been done an exceptional job educating us through the process and ensuring all our needs were met. In all we are proud homeowners, and proud to own a KB Home.

The customer service experience I received with KB was great with Marcus, DJ and Jose. They were responsive and friendly. However, the craftsmanship and the construction and the time of completion was not so great. Jose stepped in to help get the home completed for close. KB missed two close dates due to the home not being ready. I was charged an additional $400 at close because the mortgage loan was ready 8 days before the home was ready for close. There were several emailed list and pictures sent of punch list items that needed to be corrected or finished. Within the first 30 days after close, there are still 24 punch list items that need to be addressed, corrected, fixed or replaced.

For a guy buying his first home, my experience with KB Home was impeccable from start to finish. I thought it would be a lot more difficult but they made it very easy. I didn’t really have to do anything except choose what colors or what options I wanted. Then everything else was done on time. I’m very happy and I have zero regrets. Some people get buyer’s remorse but not me. I’m definitely gonna use them again. Wherever I'd live, if they'd be close by, then I’ll consider them first.

We came to KB Home because they had the best customer rating of all the builders. It was a very pleasant experience for the most part. The staff was very friendly, helpful, and available. We like the fact that the superintendent was calling every week to let us know what was going on and how far away we were from having the house completed, and that we were able to come into the home as it was being built to see how the progress was going.

It was a stress-free and great experience. My house was already built so I did not have much interaction with KB staff. I interacted with Donovan and Juan and they are both friendly and are quick to get the answer to all my questions.

I bought my first house brand new thinking it would be better but little did I know it was the wrong choice. Only two years into the house I start seeing problems occurring that the KB home builders don't take responsibility over. This is truly disappointing that they don't tell you about any of this before purchasing such an expensive home. You'd think KB home builders would be liable and fix anything going wrong to your brand new house but it's the complete opposite. They try to blame it on everything else but themselves. This is truly disappointing and I recommend everyone to purchase a home elsewhere so you're not in my situation.

We wanted to move into our first home get off the renting hamster wheel. We were a new family who were looking to settle and that was when we met Kelly **. She showed all the models, how much each one would cost on different lots and different neighborhoods. She went above and beyond and got us the house we wanted at the price point and we could not be happier!

I would recommend KB Home as far as the home buying experience, but the mortgage part was a little bit confusing and the lending process has to be more streamlined and efficient, instead of rushed in the way at the end. If we had taken the way we originally started, everything would've been fine. I was able to send in all the documents they had immediately. Then they promised me a closing date, and I was here in advance and we prepared for that. We took time off and arranged to try to get movers. And then we were told about a week before that the date wasn’t confirmed and it got moved. That was pretty disheartening, especially when I have to work a job where I have to put in a fixed notice to have a day off. We had to expect 5 days which wasn’t really good at all. Everything else was perfect and wonderful.

We were told that the home prices were going up the next day... we picked out our lot, went through all the details of the home, then ask for some assistance with closing costs. Our salesperson with KB homes in Homestead subdivision in Maricopa, AZ, said he would call the broker and ask about closing costs and get back to us and it might be the next day... After trying to reach him (salesperson) all morning the next day, the earnest deposit was taken back to the office to finalize the deal. We were told our contract from the day before was no longer good and now if we wanted the home it would be 3,000 more. Never did the sales agent tell us that... He lead us to believe we could bring in the earnest deposit the next day and give him time to talk to the broker about helping with closing cost. I would never recommend KB homes and I will tell everyone I know to steer clear from this company. We feel we were lied to and the sale person mislead us.

With the quality of home that we got and the price that other builders are charging, KB Home is reasonable and affordable. The quality is just as good as the other builder. The customer service and our construction manager was wonderful. It’s the most value for your dollar. I’m satisfied with KB Home.

I was a first time home buyer that wanted to have her dream home built and stay close to her mom that lives less than a mile away from Ibis Cove. I wasn't sure what to do or what to expect. Dominic was my first point of contact with KB at Ibis Cove, and was an essential part of making my home a reality. I had some bumps in the road when it came to the construction side of things but Dominic was always there for me lending a guiding hand throughout the whole process reassuring me that everything would work out and it did!

I've purchased several homes before but this was my first new home. I assessed several builders prior to my encounter with KB Home. I was not satisfied with what was offer by the other builders in that area because either the homes were too overpriced or the layout was just not right. Buyer Beware!! I am very dissatisfied with the whole process of building a KB Home. There have been numerous issues since day 1. From the hose bib being installed inside the house to the A/C duct work getting completely soaked by the rain because it was installed before the roof was dried in. The sales agent was very rude especially after we closed on the house. The sales agents only care about the money they will receive over you being satisfied and happy with your home. All of the subcontractors they hire do a half-ass job. If we could do this over again, I would not purchase a home made by KB Homes!!! Very Dissatisfied!!!

I purchased my KB homes in 2007. During the purchasing process I opted for many expensive upgrades including the carpet and padding. Last we I had a contractor come to the house to replace a piece of chipped tile. During his repair he pulled up a section of the carpet exposing the padding underneath. Seeing the thinnest standard 5 lb felt I was shocked since in the showroom I spent a considerable amount of money more for the highest quality padding. I immediately called KB Homes warranty department where my claim was denied in less than 20 mins. So for 9 years KB Homes had gotten away with not installing the correct carpet padding which was paid for. I think the worst part about this entire situation is they told me the pad in my home is correct, without any verification, and denied my claim. Now I am wondering what other upgrade I cannot see, such as insulation, sheathing, tech shield are not present or were not installed during construction.

When we did walk thru everything needing to be fixed were obvious things that should not have been left. Cabinets doors on backwards, boards on fence not attached, holes in wall (still not fixed), vent holes cut too big, no plug for water softener, no plug in laundry room, windows not working, etc.

I've owned several homes, this is by far the best quality, design and location. Thomas really made this all happen for me and my wife. His patience, communication skills and honesty made for a smooth buying experience. As a business owner you can't ask for a better person representing your company. Thank You very much!

KB went out of their way to make sure that we were happy with our purchase. There was no having to settle on something. They were very invested in our decision to buy our house, not just a seller saying, "Here are all the options. Choose what you want." They invested time and took the many, many man hours through all the different phases to make sure that what we were getting was exactly what we wanted. It was a simple process and we now have a perfect home.

Overall, it's a great experience with KB Home and I'm really satisfied with the house. Any little problems that I had along the way, they've been real prompt in taking care of it for me. The only issue I had along the way was come closing. They had KB Mortgage as my mortgage insurance but I wanted USAA. I had mentioned that prior. I never even spoke with anyone at KB Mortgage. They had sent me an email that I never replied to and they called me and left me a voicemail once but I never called them back. I wasn't really interested in the mortgage because I had a good deal with USAA. I had a sent a quote in and everything but ended up putting KB Mortgage instead of my USAA insurance.

Overall, KB Home made the home buying process very simple. They provided excellent service, answered all questions, and were on top of everything. Any issues that came up, they got back to us with a response or a solution in a timely manner. They offered a quality product at an affordable price. And being our first time buying a home, I would definitely go back to KB Home and do it all over again.

My overall experience with KB Home was okay. The home quality is great. However, I would not finance with the in-house lender. And whatever a salesperson will tell, no matter what level, don't sign the contract unless what were told are in it.

KB Home was great and knowledgeable but the in house mortgage company was the worst. The size of the home to the price is the best in the area. I would recommend KB Home to others but keep them clear of the mortgage company.

The whole experience was great even with the Design Studio where we were shown all the options. It was a long process but they made it enjoyable. The key is that they were very organized and punctual when it came to making commitments and giving appointments.

I'm happy with KB Home's punctuality, accuracy, prices, and their logistics support. Everything is well-explained and clear, and I understood well what I was buying. I'd recommend them.

EXCELLENT SERVICE!!! Sarah ** was a great customer service person to speak to whenever I have issues or questions. She immediately sent me over to Matt to deal with the fence and they made a fence around our neighborhood promptly, now our neighborhood can all enjoy the safety of the fence when the kids are playing at the playground, they will not be running out on the street. Also Gary ** is amazing!!! Doug ** always answer my questions as well or relayed them to Gary who handles Ashford Place. I am IMPRESSED!!!

Initially, we were disappointed with the finish. Then KB Home moved forward and made it right. The experience was fantastic. They provided excellent support. If something is wrong, they will make it right which is what's very important.

The professionalism and the friendliness of the KB Home staff was very welcoming. Moreover the quality of our house for its price is amazing. The lending company was horrible though. I thought it was just us but after we've moved in about a month later, our neighbor said the same thing.

KB Home is the place to go to if you want to understand what you’re doing. I am aware that some of these buying experiences can be very daunting, but I didn’t have that case from the moment I stepped into their office. I was very nervous about buying a house, but they made it very easy. It was a beautiful experience. I understood exactly what I was getting ready to do. I’m very pleased with KB Home and I would recommend them a hundred times over.

Initially when buying a home 9 years ago, we were very happy with our KB experience - found the people professional, polite and helpful. However, those were the glory days. Cracks showed up in our foundation - 7 years after our home was built. 2 years later, we are still battling with them. They have done foundation studies that showed our foundation was cupping, the cracks around our house are getting bigger. They seem to have the impression that if you keep on "watering your foundation" we will be okay - they won't need to do anything. We were informed this past week, that KB Home Warranty does not cover foundation issues, only structural issues. You do not need a degree in anything to know the person telling you this nonsense, doesn't know what they are talking about.

The superintendent and construction staff have been amazing, extremely accommodating, and don't hesitate to pick up their phone or respond quickly to any questions or concerns we have. Overall, it was a smooth, efficient, and pain-free experience with KB Home.

KB Home is professional and organized. I like their concept and all the energy-efficient things they offer. But the one negative is how bare bone the asking price is to the home one is getting. There are a lot of necessary upgrades.

House was built thirteen years ago. After a couple years, water was coming in window. They came and claimed they fixed problem. Today tore out sheet rock and black mold and rot over the years. Never really fixed the problem. Now I have to tear out a wall that they should of repaired years ago. Be careful of the quality of work they claim they do. Obviously they led us to believe they fixed the problem and really never did. Now I have to pay out of pocket for their negligence years ago.

I'm completely satisfied with my home buying experience with KB Home. I'm now in my home for the second month and I'm very comfortable and happy. It's been an outstanding experience. I'm thankful for KB Home.

If I were to buy another home, I would buy one with KB Home. We had a very good experience with them. The quality of the home is awesome. They were talking about energy efficiency, and we actually see a difference in our electricity bill already, like a $100 difference from our previous home. There is one small issue that we brought up the customer service rep. during the 6 months walk through but nothing they can do about it. The bathroom downstairs that nears the kitchen and family room does not have any kind of sound proof or insulation. Every time someone goes into the bathroom, we can we hear it. Being a large and experience builder such as KB Homes, but does not have a logical design to protect the sound coming out of the bathroom is disappointing. I hope someone from KB Homes reads this and responds to me.

The financing process was very smooth and the staff was always helpful and had answers to any of our questions in a timely matter. The sales and construction staff was generally on target with all of their timelines of the construction process. The customer service staff has been very polite, helpful and professional at all times. We have enjoyed our KB Home buying experience and would definitely recommend them to our friends and family!

KB Home purchase in Converse, TX - 4/25 signed contract with KB Home, 4/28 - got eConsent Invitation (after bugging Home Community, serious calls/emails to send me what they are needing). 5/2 - still harassing Home Community as to what in the world they need. 4/30 - finally got call from Home Community and sent what they needed. 5/4 - we get KB Home and insurance a congrats (mail letter) on buying a home (news to me), called in and it's just a formality of what they send (really, all hyped up for nothing). 5/29 - Home Community finally calls to wanting more documents (really) sent them on 5/30 and confirmed, never got a response back. (530-6/8, calls and emails.) Finally on 6/9 he's waiting on me to get documents and I told them I sent it (proof on emails), resend again on 6/9... 6/11 we finally got the final electronic signing and now they tell us that it will be another week till we get a yes approved or no, denied.

KB Home will be my preferred builder if I ever have to build a house again. They stood out above and beyond their competition and brought a home two levels higher than what we could buy from their competition, but within our price point.

KB Home's sales staff was really helpful and knowledgeable about everything. They made the whole process from walking the models to financing to getting closing so easy. It was a great experience for a first-time home buyer.

The sales process is excellent. They are not pushy. In fact the sales went above and beyond in meeting and understanding my needs. They followed up and endured. I was satisfied. The sales manager Brandon initially went on FaceTime on a weekend to show my houses and even went to other home builders with me to see properties. And then accommodate me better. Jeff, the construction manager, showed me details I would have missed and followed up promptly on completion. He even did multiple walk through himself and explained our benefits purchasing KB Home. Wow is all I can say. We are super happy with the home and the experience.

The customer service Kullen ** provided. The best thing was always knowing how the home was coming along. We work two jobs so going to the home was a little difficult and Mr. ** always kept us informed of the progress and that is priceless. He is truly the reason we continued with the home purchase. We love KB and would refer friends and family!

KB Home was a bait and switch experience. It was unnecessary and frustrating. Don't buy from them. Run from them!

KB should change to a different person to do the carpet because my niece who's an infant bled her feet on an exposed nail. The guy should’ve used something that should cover the top of the edges of the vinyl and the carpet where the nails are. My niece was walking a lot so we had to cover it. While KB Home's work was clean and nice, we're not satisfied about the counter and the carpet.

Jim and Mike were very helpful. They went over and beyond what I considered what their job was. I'm very satisfied with KB Home.

I really enjoyed working with KB Home. I enjoy the house. I love the location and the amenities and look forward to living here in the next 10 years or so and raising my kids here. Great home, good experience.
