While I have critiqued the quality of the workmanship, this should in no way reflect on the performance of the KB team. Michael, Susan, Hugo, and Alberto are all incredibly good at their respective jobs. The subcontractors, with the exceptions noted above should be chosen more carefully. Perhaps, bringing in local subs would help. I am a project manager for a mid size residential contractor in the bay area and have been in the trades for 20 years. I am happy to sit down with you to discuss some of the issues I have discovered.

We are retirees who had been living/traveling full time in an RV for the past 5 yrs. When we decided to transition back into housing it was a hard decision because our budget is fixed & healthcare/insurance is a new $ surprise every year. First we looked at established homes, but with all of the mold, foundation, repair work we decided on construction. We've been through the remodel, fix up process & it was fun in our 30s. Not so much in the 60s. KB Homes first caught our attention with the energy efficiency. It has been a great decision for us. The process went smoothly & everyone at KB has made every step easier. Now we have a beautiful new landscaped home made to our specifications in a nice community & near the medical center and shopping convenience. We are thankful they helped us along every step of the way.

The Sales and Construction Staff at Legend Pond were fantastic. Our experience with KB's Lending department started off well, but we ended very poorly. Our credit was pulled without our consent towards the end of the process to verify our income. This was done by the processor after we had had a conversation to wait for a bit longer. This caused a myriad of other problems because an account that had been paid off had not recorded causing our credit scores to not come in at the needed score of over 740.

This was my first home-buying experience, and it was overall a great experience. Going to the KB Home Studio and being able to select all manner of options to really make the home mine was an absolute blast. Everyone I met from KB throughout the process was super friendly and helpful. My one complaint was the pushed closing/move-in date. But I absolutely love my new home!

The salespeople will follow up with you throughout the whole process of buying- but good luck hearing back from anyone else. I learned more about the construction of my house by driving to it than by anyone contacting me.

The experience I had with KB Homes was phenomenal. They help guide me through the home process and making sure I feel comfortable. The process of buying a home through KB was smooth and I highly recommend. They make great homes!

KB HOMES experience was fantastic from start to finish. I will recommend KB HOMES to all of my friends and family. I been praying for a home for 5 years. The staff are very kind and explained everything step by step.

My realtor and I looked at multiple resale homes - ho hum....he then suggested that we go see his friend - Severo and KB homes - at this new area they were building. Very friendly from the start with great attitudes, answer all questions asked and stayed in touch. They take pride in their work and it wasn't like dealing with a car salesperson who just wants to get your money and push you out the door.

Home loan staff was great at reaching out for a smooth process. Build staff were great at correcting anything from the walkthroughs and did a great job explaining home features. Customer care staff was quick to fix any issues after moving in.

Our journey towards home buying with KBHS was the best experience we've had compared to our previous experiences. Their dedication, commitment, and professionalism is truly aligned with the company's Mission and Vision statement.

Homes are delivered quickly and staff is very helpful and friendly. They always answered my concerns and questions. However not every house is perfect and sometimes issues can occur which may require frequent reminding to get repairs or issues resolved.

Being a first time home buyer we are glad that KB Home was introduced to us. All the staff we have encountered at KB Home have been so professional and helpful. They ensure that we are 100% satisfied with our home from inside and out. Any questions and concerns we had during the building process of our home were answered in a timely manner which we extremely appreciated.

We have bought several homes over the years, but this was our first experience having one built from the ground up. The entire KB team was professional, courteous and extremely responsive. They all made it an incredible experience!

KB staff was great!!! Gave us detailed info and kept us up to date with all processes of the house. I would and will recommend KB to others. I also like KB Homes from the standpoint that you can upgrade as much as you want and is almost like having a custom home.

I would suggest buyers that are considering a KB Home to ask detailed questions of the sales and design center staff, since false information was provided. KB used shortcuts in design and construction, for maximum profit.

When we started our home search, we said we would not get a KB Home - but we were thoroughly impressed with the improved floor plans and are so happy we ended up with KB!! We will definitely be recommending KB to our friends and family. But, if I could recommend one little thing.... buying a house is a lot of money - the gift baskets could've been better ?? Thanks anyway, we definitely put it to use and appreciate it! Thanks for the journey!

The KB Home staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. They made the home building and buying experience easy and enjoyable. The quality of the workmanship is second to none, and I feel that KB Home did an amazing job overall.

Building a brand new home is a monumental task. KB Homes made this process easy, had the most flexibility with their floor plans, and took care of us every step of the way. It was the best home we could have ever hoped for at a price that was extremely fair. We love our new KB Home!

The experience was very personal and engaging. You are guided throughout the process with many friendly, and educated people to take the ease out of your nerves. Each person in the home buying process has your satisfaction as their number one priority. They exceeded my expectations and made me a happy home owner.

If I could give one star I would. Worst new house that I have ever bought (and this is my 4th new home purchase). We came from out of state so I could not watch that actual build of our home. We moved in a year ago, and have had nothing but problems since. From a crooked toilet (took them over a year to fix), to an engineer stating that we are having foundation issues. KB Home representatives' views are that we do not have foundation problems and the items we are discussing are normal.

Have management to be more understanding and work with the home buyers to keep them satisfied. It's really not hard to archive a solid 10 if only KB does not think only about their pocket. 30% of HOA rules and regulations are just unacceptable and unrealistic. Why having a centralized mailbox system on a House community? What was wrong with individual mailboxes? Centralized mailboxes and good for apartment buildings not individual houses. I don't think I would recommend KB Home to others. Unless someone in higher management step up and start listening and caring about people who just spent over 3/4 Million Dollar with KB Home.

Everything about building this home with KB has been exceptional! From the very first day we walked into the office to talk to Josh, working with Darin and then moving in, we have been extremely impressed with every step along the way. This has been a first class experience all around and we'll recommend working with KB to anyone we know. Thank you so very much for making this an amazing experience and building the home of our dreams!

The KB Homes team did an exceptional job from start to finish. I am beyond excited about my new home. They made modifications necessary to ensure that I was a happy and satisfied customer. Definitely would recommend to others in the market for a new home!

My overall experience with KB was ok. I love the design options available and the interaction with our designer was positive. Everything else from walking through mortgage details to picking up keys was a headache. The miscommunication between staff was also concerning, since I invested so much in the company it feels like errors in communication should not be happening.

Buying a home is a very big investment which will take many, many years of sacrifice to make it our own. We cannot predict what the future will be. KB Homes took us on a journey, guided us, and send us on our way fully equipped to undertake what will be. We will never forget. Years from now, we will remember.

We didn't deal with KB Corporate at all. But we dealt with their team on the ground including sales and construction. Their team went above and beyond to make sure all our issues and questions were handled quickly. They have a great crew working for them!

Very easy and pleasant home purchase. Originally wanted to use our own bank for the loan, but KB financing far exceeded the others. Being able to go to a design center to add our own touches was very important to my wife. The sales staff was extremely helpful and always updated us with info and photos of the build. Construction staff was equally informative with the build and available for all our questions. After the build, warranty team gives a ton of great info and very helpful as well. As a new home buyer we were initially stressed of the process of the unknown, but the entire KB Team made it very pleasant and stress free. In all honesty my wife and I probably stressed them more with all our questions, but they always answered very quickly and always happy to help answer. I would recommend a KB Home to anyone. My wife and I are happy to start our new family in this home.

The home is beautiful with a stunning location. The staff sales, construction, design team etc.. were all really pleasant to work with. They all had a wonderful attitude, and were always eager to help.

I received exceptional service from Tracy ** in sales and Bryan ** in construction. They are incredible, attentive and compassionate. I never thought buying a home would be such an enjoyable experience. I am now a huge KB Home fan!

We highly recommend KB Homes! Started off with outstanding people - and then moved on to an outstanding product. The communication was tremendous all the way the construction process and any and all follow up was handled expeditiously, and extremely professionally.

We found the perfect move-in ready home by KB Homes. We had our existing home under contract and had to find and move into a new home quickly. Everyone at KB Homes helped to get us into our new home meeting our shortened timeline.

You get a fair and efficient process working with a national builder. Our home was delivered a week earlier than the stated closing date, so nothing was delayed. Everything is boilerplate so you won't be overwhelmed with choices or things to review. You get a budget-friendly cookie cutter home that you can customize with design options but is pretty lacking in quality or workmanship in the quality of the home's materials. Overall, the team was easy enough to work with albeit with slow response times. But don't expect much follow through for warranty requests under the seemingly generous warranty period.

We are second time home buyer upgrading from our townhome to a single-family home. KB Home people at sales, design studio, construction, warranty and customer service are best in class. They provided precise timing on the home delivery date, kept me informed with progress and milestone inspection walk, pro-actively helped with any service issue and also helped with references after we moved in our home to do landscaping and other personalization upgrades. I would definitely buy my next home through KB and also recommend my family and friends to KB.

I HIGHLY recommend the entire staff at KB Homes for making me feel right at home. This was my first time going through an experience like this, having to sell the home I was living in and then buying a new KB Home that wasn't even built yet in a short time frame KB Homes held my hand through the hold process from the sales representative to the construction manager. Excellent experience with KB Home. My wife and I were very impressed and happy with the overall experience. When we do buy our next home, we hope to make it a KB Home and we are quite sure that it will be quite difficult to top the great experience we've had thus far.

Having done this project, never physically seeing our home ourselves, except in photos, we are very happy and satisfied with the final results. It was virtually stress free with the exception of tile and carpet, but that just took a little time. The real stress was the cross country move. When you work with the right people, you can't go wrong. Working with KB Home and their staff couldn't have gone smoother. Love our home!

Thank you for an overall good experience. Most staff were very friendly, knowledgeable and responded timely. Home design and construction staff were very patient, explained and answered questions and flexible.

I would like to have rated my experience with KB Home as a 5. Until I actually moved in I was extremely pleased with them. The Sheetrock was sloppy, my backyard had standing water when it rained and takes days to dry as the drainage is inadequate.

As first time home buyers, we had an amazing experience buying from KB. All the various parties and individuals who worked with us did a splendid job in keeping us informed, educating us and providing guidance.

Our experience with KB was mixed bag.... they are great about regular factory style home construction experience. The KB mgmt is inflexible in resolving out of box issues. We had major issue with U shaped backyard. The U shape was so peculiar that it was almost unusable without rectification.

My KB Home experience has not worked out the way they explained it. They only give you one year of maintenance on most items when you build a new home. I had a number of problems with the my house and they kept saying that the house will settle after a year or two. After fixing most of these problems during that first year, the problems came back. I called and they said no problem, we will take care of it. But when They come out, they tell me that we need to wait to get the repairs, because it takes about 4 to five years for the house to settle. I was pissed because they changed what they originally said and my house is looking a mess inside and out.

I love my new KB Home!!!! KB Homes are very nice. They are a great investment of your money & life. They are made extremely well & sturdy & beautiful, what more can you ask for. Well, how about cost & efficiency?!

Everyone wanted to make sure you are happy with your home. I was impressed by the process of purchasing a home with KB. It was not as stressful as I thought it would be. It was great that everyone kept you informed.

As a first time home buyer, going through the entire process of closing on a house was a daunting and confusing task. However, the KB Home staff were always more than ready to help and answer any questions I had.

Our KB Home has everything we could look for in our first home. We were looking for a townhouse with 3 bedrooms and plenty of space, and we got just that for a great starting price. We are in a great location with the potential for an even better growth. The Staff at KB knew exactly what they were doing, extremely knowledgeable and friendly.

Very thankful for Mike and David's time they have put into helping us with our home. There were a few things that needed some work, but had nothing to do with these gentlemen. Anytime I called, they answered and helped make things better.

I would say the only thing I really have a problem with is the way they install the sod and the sprinkler system. They do not do anything to the ground they throw the sod down on top of weeds and whatever is on the ground, and I bought a sprinkler system to keep my grass growing and there are spots that are not covered. I believe those are the only Subs I would be looking at, and would expect them to do the job they are paid to do, number one get the ground ready for the sod to make sure the sprinklers are covering all sod!

KB Home was the best home buying & building experience we have ever had. Minji, Reggie, Iraya, Terri, & Martin treated us so well and cared so much for our home we felt like we had the only house they were building.

The whole staff have been great! The home is wonderful. Home buying can be very stressful, in every aspect. We feel that KB clearly knows that and had the right people in place to help ferry us through the process. I would recommend both the home and the those who have cared for us along the way to anyone. My overall experience was great. I can't say enough about Mr. **. He was great, very informative, knowledgeable, professional and cautious. He was always there when I needed him to be regarding any questions or concerns I had. He is also very handsome.

My entire experience with KB has been EXCEPTIONAL. These guys really know how to build a home, and treat customers. They are cordial, professional, helpful and super important, they make customer satisfaction there number one priority, As it should be with all major companies and of course many fail at doing that. The KB Home buying experience was great! From start to finish. We wanted to buy and move in within 30 days of picking a home. They made it happen within approximately three weeks. It was smooth and seamless.

Every options and upgrades offered MUST TELL THE CUSTOMER!!! The KB Home should not build close to the railroad crossing, We could not sleep, 2 or 3 trains passed by every night between 1AM-2AM in the morning and blew the horns at the railroad crossing intersection and "The Horns Extremely Loud ".... What can we do!!!

Staff are friendly. Building process is quick. But craftsmanship is just ok. There were many things that were in even or not done with quality and we had to ask for them to be redone (tile work, drywall being uneven, etc.). All were corrected thanks to our awesome construction manager!

KB Home gives you an attentive team that constantly checks up on you and your needs. Our home was built with our design and budget in mind. The customer service after is really attentive and follows up within 24 hours regarding question or concern on your new home.

My husband and I have looked around the Sacramento area for new homes. Moving from the midwest to Florida for work was Stressful. We wanted to find a quality place to live but at a price that we could afford. On top of that we wanted a nice location. KB came though for us on all aspects. The staff was helpful throughout the entire process and kept us informed and updated along the way. My overall experience was very pleasant. There really isn't anything I could call out specifically for my least or favorite part of the home buying experience. I had heard that buying a home is hard and requires a lot of work, time and staying on top of everything. I was absolutely shocked at what we could get with KB Home, even with thousands of dollars in upgrades, on a corner lot, on a greenbelt, in this area of town. It was a no-brainer. From the moment we went to the sales office for the first time, to picking out everything at the studio (which was a blast, by the way), to the frame walk once the bones of the house were finished, to completion, the KB team was easily available to get in contact with and were always happy to help. We financed through KBHS Home Loans (after we'd been in contact with a Veteran-specific company before we went to KB) and the service at KBHS was better, by far.

Buying a house can be a stressful process, especially when it's a new build. My wife and I are from San Diego. When we first decided to move to Tucson we drove the entire city looking at new build construction sites. KB, by far, had the best prices and the best customer service. They took the time to make sure that we understood the models and pricing. They didn't look at my wife and me as just another number. Throughout the process they were accommodating with us being out of state and expecting a new baby. They delivered a quality home on schedule as promised. Not only did they deliver us a quality home as promised, but they are still there when we need them. No matter what time or what day it is, they will always respond to a text and take care of any issues. Henk and Tom have been amazing. We are completely satisfied!

KB Home has done wonderful with the whole process of getting moved into our new home, from the moment we signed the contract to the moment we moved in. Even after moving in, they are still helping us with any difficulties we may have. They have done a great job.

I found that the KB staff is very attentive. From the beginning, we weren't pressured to go with KB Mortgage or KB Insurance, even though it was offered. Additionally, we weren't pressured in the more expensive options in the home. We were able to put all the pieces together to build the home we wanted. The build experience was great if a mistake was discovered, Dave and his team would ensure it was fixed. Ben with the customer service team is even better. That is a guy that knows how to make the customer happy.

From Sales to Design to Construction, this was an incredibly positive experience. Scott, Shawna and Carlos were professional and patient throughout the entire process. They set proper expectations and consistently delivered on or exceeded these expectations.

The whole experience was fantastic! I could not have asked for a better experience from the start of the process through closing. It is very seldom that expectations are not only met but exceeded. I never take time to answer surveys, but in this case find it warranted due to my complete satisfaction with the buying experience. I would highly recommend KB Home to anyone who is buying.

My experience with KB HOME was amazing. From the moment we walked through the doors of the model homes, we were greeted with a friendly woman who told us all the amazing amenities of inspirada. I just wanted to say I was very please with how kind and sweet everyone was with us when closing and answering any questions we had or coming out to help with any issues we had. The sales team and construction team has been so wonderful.

KB Home lived up to its promises and the home is quality construction. Everyone has been helpful and responsive to our requests. The home is attractive and they are working with us on final details. We wish perhaps that they included granite sink tops. Some other builders include more options without an upgrade in price. At the same time the final price for our home is reasonable and we can do some upgrades ourselves.

Everything has improved since my 1st purchase, and the new floor plan is amazing (I would just wish I could make a small modification to make the master bedroom bigger). Also would strongly recommend adding some kind of noise barrier on the interior walls so not everything can be heard when the bedroom doors are closed (like tv, walking around, doors closing/opening, anyone using the restroom, cabinets closing, etc.).

I really hesitated to buy a KB Home because of some friends' advice...etc but I am a highly satisfied customer as of now and the value for the quality I got was beyond my expectations, the building process was great being kept updated on weekly basis.

Life changing, simply incredible. Beverly **, Christian, JJ **, Aaron, Steve, dimple as that these names will always be remembered as the guardian troopers that made my dream come true. Thank you all.

I spent a lot of time looking for a new house - countless builders and locations. Ironically, the KB Home I bought was the first model I looked at. Not only did KB have the floor plan I wanted, but hands down, Kimara was the friendliest sales rep I encountered. Customer service goes a long way with me, especially with big purchases. I commend the entire KB staff on how they handle business; it is very much appreciated!

We were attracted to this home built by KB Home because of the school district, the fact it was brand new, the square footage, and the price when considering those other factors. Once we started working with people in the process, such as David in sales and Jason in construction out here at Creeks of Legacy, our home buying experience was facilitated with such ease, I almost regret having, and effectively spending money on, a buying agent (though she was nice and a good person herself) because the process was as streamlined as it should have been. These folks come across like real people who genuinely want to help instead of money-hungry wolves in sheep's clothing. The home has been great. There's not much else to say.

Since my last review, KB has sent a team out to fix the issue. Overall, I think KB need to look into the work they contract out to ensure that the quality is maintained. Good customer service and follow up on issues.

Wish I could give negative Stars. We purchased our home October 31st 2018. Which in itself was a hassle due to them not having their stuff together. Missed deadlines. People not being able to show up or come out and not being able to get ahold of anybody. We had to contact KB and set up our 10-day walk through since we had heard nothing from them. On our 10 day walkthrough we discovered a number of issues that they were given a list for, these issues still have not been fixed (including zero insulation in our roof). We have had to contact them over and over again to try to get our 30-day and 90-day walk-through while still them not completing the issues from our 10-day walkthrough.

This is our first home so naturally we felt really stressful because we don't have much experience but the staff was fantastic. Sean and Sherry would walk us one step at a time through everything. We are very grateful for them. Our overall experience is 10/10. We will definitely recommend our friends and family to KB Home.

The staff, construction crew and community were all professional, kind and really wanted me to be happy with my home purchase! They all partnered together to make this the best home buying experience I have been able to be a part of and actually enjoy! I have never met a more genuine sales staff or work staff that all take such pride in their work and roles. THANK YOU!! I truly LOVE my new home!!!!

A very friendly staff that helps you by walking through with all steps. Provide clarification of the new home buyer from the beginning to the end. Provide a great selection of the home model and interior upgrades while meeting the level of the budget. Remaining customer of each deadline to meet the timeline in order to move in on time. The seller sent weekly status photos on the new house. We were able to contact the seller regarding the process of the house and anything house related.

We had a wonderful experience with KB Home. From the moment we started our buying process to the close of escrow, everybody was very helpful and friendly. We would highly recommend KB Home to our friends.

We have had a terrible experience buying a brand new home with KB. From the quality and workmanship- crooked walls, mold on building materials, and paint drippings. They fixed it one by one only after we refused to sign off on inspection of the home. With cosmetic issues still present, KB started pushing us to sign off the home so what we could close (because the end of the month was near) and demanding we close by the end of the month or pay a $250/ day fee for failing to proceed.

Homes have very little storage, garages are too small, customer care staff is efficient, accommodating, and hard working; do not use their financing - they sell your mortgage immediately upon closing.

KB Homes build our house, we are very satisfied with the results of the build. The sales staff and construction manager will keep you up to date during the build. After the build you're not forgotten, they both will check up to make sure you don't have any issues and if you did the construction manager will get whatever the issue is resolved. We are very happy with the house, sales staff, and construction manager.

The overall experience was great. My family and I enjoyed the excitement of what it takes to build a home. The various staff did a great job delivering a product that has value. The staff also had great customer service and served us well. Thank you.

KB Home was very professional during the entire process at all levels. From the moment they broke ground on the property to handing over the keys. There are so many inter-departments though that it can get confusing on who you are speaking with and why. I gave 4 stars for this reason, otherwise KB both met and exceeded many of my expectations.

Very easy to work with when it comes to choosing options. Many things are not correctly aligned in the house after construction but they are willing to fix a lot of problems. The mortgage counselor that I worked with was not the easiest to get along with but manageable. The sales teams was amazing and always kept in close contact. There is little to almost no privacy in the backyard due to short walls that KB is not willing to enhance and that might be the worst of the problems. Overall it's a home well worth it but there's always room for improvement.

Set people up for success both construction and buyer. Stick to dates, or if cannot, clear explanation of why, better communication with buyer, project manager to ensure the home will meet buyer's expectations, "Does this house look like what the buyer expects at this period of construction."

Our overall experience with KB Home was very professional and thorough. We were given a complete home and issues were taken care of after closing in a timely manner. All of the reps that work for KB that we had regular interactions with were courteous, professional, timely, and explanatory. We are happy we bought with KB. There are a lot of builder options out there in Colorado, and as a Realtor© I have sold most of them. This did help my decision towards choosing KB, so we didn't go into it blindly.

Our experience with KB Home (Gramercy Farms II) has been nothing less than excellent. From the very first time we visited the sales office of our subdivision and met the sales team (Joey and Alex) we knew this was the place we wanted to purchase our home. Having visited and contacted other builders prior to our purchase, we can honestly say that KB Home has a level of commitment and customer satisfaction focus that is unbeatable by competitors around the Central Florida area. From the sales team, to the construction superintendent and everyone else, KB Home made our first home purchase experience the best we could've asked for!

The KB Home staff makes house-buying as stress-free as possible and the completed home is very nice. The people were competent and available and, perhaps best of all, the few things I found that were a problem after I moved in were fixed as quickly as possible. As an example, I found my front porch was not quite level and I had a small puddle out there after the rain. It has been fixed, repainted, retextured, and it is no longer an issue. Gotta love a good warranty!

In general, staff were difficult to work with and even harder to get ahold of. The mortgage lending department is phenomenal, however; a bright spot in an experience that was otherwise darkened by condescending and unhelpful staff members. There was a complete lack of professionally decency displayed throughout every process. It felt like staff was there to sell and build the house, and everything after that, including issues we had, were not their problem.

From start to finish the entire home buying process was made as simple and stress free as possible. We never had to worry about our house being done on time or worry about it being built right. The sales staff and construction staff made this process extremely easy on us as first time homebuyers.

KB Home provided a pleasant buying experience for a first time home buyer. I enjoyed interacting and working with the people at KB Home from all departments during the entire process. After our house burnt down, we were looking at our options, when we found KB Homes. We were instantly sold on the models, and the sales staff was friendly, but not pushy. We were pleased with home building materials, timely manner in which home was completed, friendly staff, and professional loan officers. The front exterior elevations design are simply beautiful and the floor plans fit today's lifestyle. KB Homes has had issues many years ago and their reputation wasn't excellent, but we feel KB Homes has successfully redeemed itself among the public, improving the quality of their materials, and hiring staff that genuinely have your best interest at heart. We are glad we decided to build with them and look forward to making great memories in our new home.

This is our second KB Home in San Antonio. Our first experience wasn't so very good but we decided to give it another chance in another community in the city. The construction team did everything they could to make this a better experience for us. Even though there were was some tough moments, they ultimately delivered.

Most things in the entire buying/building process were rather fine. I think the construction part of the entire process could use some more refinement. Like double checking the correct upgrades and selections were installed and cleaning up on the construction site. Beer cans everywhere is totally unprofessional. Everyone else I encountered (sales, studio, mortgage) were professional, understanding and courteous at all times.

I live in a KB home and so does my daughter. My daughter bought a KB home in 2013. When we bought her home we never looked at the windows. Recently my daughter showed me her windows. There are five that do not close at all. Whoever installed the windows installed them wrong. There is a plastic piece that is up against metal. There should be an opening where the solid metal piece is so that the plastic piece could go up into window when you close them. I have called KB Home and they sent a technician out. They said the windows were installed wrong and that he tried to get in touch with the company that installed the windows and that they have left town and that KB Home will not do anything to fix them.

Hello! I’m not rating the home itself. This review is about my experience with their sales team, namely their sales manager, Justin. We had to change lenders and I was extremely grateful that they continued to work with us even though we missed our close date and had to start over. I received a letter that extended our close date. When we couldn’t make that date I reached out the Justin who said that if I brought $3000 to the office, I would have 30 days to secure financing ($100 a day) BUT if I failed to do so I would lose my earnest money AND the $3000. Scary, right? Justin reassured me that if I switched to KBHS the process would be quick and the likelihood was that it wouldn’t cost me the entire $3000. Let me tell you, Ryan ** and KBHS kicked butt! They worked hard knowing how much it was costing per day. We got clear to close in two weeks. That is amazing! By my calculations, it cost $1600 in hold fees.

Great experience with the staff in sales, design studio and construction team. Some opportunities for improvement with the KB Loan department in better communication but overall the sales, design and construction team were able to assist every step of the way. Very satisfied with overall purchase of our new build house. We will be recommending to friends and family.

I was not able to move into the house prior to leaving for NY for the summer. I closed remotely and have been promised a walkthrough when I return. It is my hope that everything will go smoothly then.

At times throughout the buying experience, I feel that the different parts of KB weren't communicating well with each other, until pressed by customer to do so. I found this annoying, considering I accepted KB services for all parts of the transaction, that it could perform. In other words, I did not shop around for a lender and such, expecting the KB entities to work seamlessly together. I don't believe that is what happened and would shop the competition on all fronts, in the future, based on this current experience.

Great company with long history, which delivers great homes. Unlike many other companies KB does not mess around and has a simple model - build it well and move on. These days I rarely hear any complaints about KB, unlike about many other builders around, that constantly go into court and battle over their failing houses. Staff is experienced and great, easy to work and most importantly - all staff members always communicate on time and provide weekly updates. I was enjoying my building experience and would recommend other people to look at KB Homes, if they have such option in the area. Keep it up guys!

When the process began I felt things were going along smoothly. Robert ** was the sales agent that was my point of contact. He was very nice but to be honest did not follow up nor was attentive as a salesperson should be. Most of the information I received was from the app I downloaded and Belinda **. I'm disappointed with what feels like a deception on a option that was given. I informed Mr. ** I had reservations on the purchase because of the 500 dollar HOA fee. He came back with a resolution that management offered to pay it for 3 years. Come to find out there's also a street reservation fee that he did not mention to me. I gotta say when I saw the HOA bill for 700 and plus I was upset. I tried contacting both Bob and Belinda but still no response.

I have said enough! If someone would like to speak to me I am more than welcome to. Even better if they come to the property of comment to see the issues. Use it for KB company training of what not to do!!!

Of all the houses I saw, KB Homes had my favorite Floor plan; I loved it! The whole team was very competent, professional, and attentive. The only thing that needs to improve are the finishing touches on the house, I was slightly disappointed. The customer service has been amazing in helping fix all the issues. Overall, yes I would recommend KB Homes.

My KB Home experience could not have been better had it not been for the professionalism of their team members in the Shadow Grove subdivision. From the moment my realtor brought us to the office we felt like this was finally where we wanted to build. Our construction manager, home sales consultant, and loan officer are a great team of individuals. My only pause for concern with my home buying experience is Home Pro Operating. I wish that KB would consider using another contractor in regards to security and prewiring their homes. Someone should really be doing more checks and balances with all of the third party vendors. Overall price point is good for the area of Pearland which is vastly up and coming.

The entire process was very smooth with our new KB Home build. The whole staff was tremendous to include sales, design studio, loan processing and construction staffs. We hired our own inspector who concluded the house is well built and a great floor plan. We were delivered what was promised at a solid price. We have recommended KB Homes and already have a family member building a house in the same neighborhood.

Not much transparency with process before construction starting. Studio pricing difference still has me upset without much offered to help the price gap. Accepted $300 upgrade but still spend $2700 more than I thought and wanted to.

Decided to go with KB Trevato because the model homes were lovely and we cannot beat the price. Also I got a nice lot. With Jolanda ** help we were able to get the house. Also from KB home loans we were helped by Tara ** who helped us having a smooth process without any hassle. And Tony ** and Norman ** have been taking care of us if any small issues comes around. Overall we are very happy and satisfied by the decision of going ahead with KB Homes.

KB Homes are not only built to your plans and desires, but they exceed your expectations. They are caring and attentive, and follow-through. Their homes are energy-efficient in ways you wouldn't think of, and their neighborhoods are designed to be communities.

KB demands their subs work for pennies, use substandard materials, and practices. Based on poor designs by KB's architects and engineers, then years later when the houses start leaking or having structural issues, KB sues their subs saying it was their fault. Shame. If you buy a KB home, you get far less than what you pay for.

After shopping around within our desired area, we kept coming back to KB. We toured several other builders and felt KB offered more "bang for your buck" than the others. We then fell in love with their floor plans and finishes. We believe for our money, KB offered the best value. What we did not realize in the beginning, was just how much value we would receive from the KB staff.

My overall experience is as satisfying as it can get. I would not hesitate on buying other house from KB Homes and recommend it to everyone. On my experience, there is not perfection in construction especially working with contractors but KB Homes does its job to get it done and make it happen.

Nothing but issues since move in. Just the latest, tore out part of our backyard fence to put up a new one for the new house behind us. Not the whole back fence, only about 3/4 of it. Left gaps in the fence and just threw all the stuff we had hanging or leaning up against the fence into the backyard and tore up plants putting the fence in. NO notification!!

We moved from a home we had been in for over forty years. We were rather anxious about the move to a townhome in a new area. KB could not have offered more support. The customer service team has been outstanding. From the tiniest mark on a wall to trimming trees on a neighboring property they have been on the job.

KB is great! Our home is beautiful and we love our neighborhood. From the sales, office to design all the way to construction each person that helped us left a lasting impression. The value of our home exceeds our expectations and the design center offered so much that our home looks beautiful inside. We are so blessed and excited to live here. We would buy KB again for sure!

Good Home Buying Experience that Could Be Much Better - It could be a much better experience if the entire team (sales, maintenance, loan officer, processor, closer, etc.) were on the same page. It felt disjointed because I each person appeared to care only about their lane. I walked away feeling like it could've been much better customer service.

Overall we had a great experience with KB. There was a water leak in the bathroom for to an installation error, but they fixed everything like new free of charge. KB Homes is definitely the best builder offering the greatest value! After visiting several other reputable Builders, I discovered that KB Homes offered more square footage, amazing floor plans & elevations, and great construction for the value.

Overall we were very pleased with the experience. This was our first move in 47 years, and to complicate matters we were out of state buyers. KB and their staff made the buying process easy and comfortable.

This first home buying process was definitely a pleasant experience. From the floor plans, to the staff, I was completely blown away with the builder. Professional and informative staff which is strongly needed throughout a home buying process; KB matched the ideal experience in which influences a buyer to purchase.

In Summer 2018 I entered into a contract with KB Home to purchase a new home in Rocklin (**), but unfortunately my initial work agreement with my employer (William Jessup University) fell apart after a few months and I had to withdraw from the deal. KB Homes representative, Jean **, told me that if I send them a letter explaining my situation, it is likely they will return my $3000 deposit, but they did not even bother to reply! I am very disappointed with KB Home, especially now that I have realized other companies like Shea Homes and Century Communities almost always return their customers’ deposits when they have legitimate excuses for not going ahead with the contract.

First off, lets start with the reason most people are drawn to KB Homes is they're cheaper than other homes. With this in mind, the phrase know what you're getting comes into play. Being cheaper means cheaper materials, cheaper building practices and cheaper subcontractors. I can only speak to my personal experience and opinions, so take this with a grain of salt. I was lucky to live literally around the corner while they were building my house, so I was there almost every day. I am all about cheap, and when it comes to materials, I am ok with cheaper. Those things I can have some control over if I treat them well (my philosophy, anyway).

Very professional and courteous. They helped from day one with the process. From the home itself, to financing. Everything went smooth and efficiently. From the time we put earnest money down and closed on the house it was only approximately 6 weeks. Thanks.

From the first experience meeting the sales staff, to going through the whole process of picking the home and options, to dealing with the construction crews, I couldn't of been happier with our purchase.
