I know the secret of KB's success, It can be explained in 2 words - "KB's Staff". At every step in home buying process everyone from Sales till Warranty staff is awesome. Each one knows what exactly they are doing and how to do things at best level. Everyone is perfect in their respective field. I just made a decision to go with KB Homes but your staff proved that the decision was perfect.

KB thrive to deliver the state of art home to the customer. Our overall experience is great on staff and quality of the home. There are a few area that needs to be improved but KB showed to us in the past is way better than we are expected. We hope that KB continue to grow in the market and we hope to buy another home with KB in the near future.

All functions of the staff were very professional. Although they were busy with sales and construction teams responsible for multiple KB Home sites we felt they did care about our experience and were as responsive as they could be. We did hold back a bit regarding the timeliness of items but they are addressed in the survey.

The overall process from start to finish went better than expected. Buying our first house was the most stressful thing we both encountered in life, but everyone we worked with made it so much smoother for us and really guided us when we had questions or concerns. I'm glad we got to work with the amazing people KB has under them and we couldn't be happier with our beautiful home and neighborhood we live in. Everything in life has hiccups/problems but what is most remembered is how it got dealt with in the end and that's what we truly appreciated about Mauricio. We felt he went above and beyond to help us correct everything we had concerns with. He's truly an amazing person! Thank you all so much for this experience!

In a time of scarcity and uncertainty KB provided something I'm proud to call my home. However, they spread their resources too thin; starting more and more houses while the houses they previously started get further and further delayed.

KB home's has been great to work with, they are consistent and thorough with all of their communication. Kurt in the Sales office has been very reassuring and professional. Tom and Randy on the construction team have been very informative on where we were at with our construction.

Thank you, KB Home for staying on your principles and practices of providing affordable housing to our communities in the Austin metro areas and elsewhere. Best of all, at least to my knowledge, unlike some other home builders, KBH didn't mix investors with primary residences together and asking for bids. That's the best part from KBH. Keep it up!

As new homeowners, KB Homes made the home buying/building/designing/financing less daunting for my Wife and I. The sales/construction/financing representatives gave weekly updates so we always knew what was going on and provided prompt responses to any questions we may have had. My Wife and I are absolutely thrilled with our home and would 100% recommend KB Homes to anyone looking for a new build.

We bought our KB Home in a very tough and expensive market. For a new build in our area it really was a great deal. We financed through the builder which made for a very easy process when it came to buying the home. The design center was amazing and we loved being able to customize our home with the finishes and upgrades we wanted. We made the decision to go over budget with those in order to design the home we really wanted to live in. Our consultant was so helpful in explaining what would add resale value while still fitting the aesthetic we were looking for. In all, we were pleased with our home even after it was delivered 6 months delayed (weather, Covid-related delays, etc.).

Great home, great sales/finance staff. There was a poor system put into place which caused the superintendent to be responsible for more than one person should be. This lead to communication issues and oversight of workmanship.

Overall, working with KB Home was an amazing experience. The staff at every level was so helpful throughout the entire process. KB did a great job making sure that building your own dream home was a fun, smooth and exciting process from day 1 through closing.

They have a wonderful team to help you build your dream home. Buying a brand-new home compared to buying older homes has its upside but it also has a downside. You need to factor in time and patience with the Home Building. But you get a brand-new home, comfortable and customized to your own needs and wants afterwards. With the crazy market right now and in the middle of a pandemic, I never thought I could buy another home, in a good location and priced right. It really makes to have a good team on your side. My Sales Consultant, Girlie was heaven sent. I could text her, email her and call her anytime. She's very attentive and responds to my queries in a timely fashion. I'm glad I have her on my team.

I feel honored to have purchased a quality home from a staff that truly cares about the customer. I started with sales and ended the journey with customer service. The entire experience has been a dream. When I felt I unsure or unheard there was always someone to advocate for me and stand beside me. I could not have hand picked a better team.

KB construction has some clear advantages. The base prices, the energy efficiency, and the sales/construction staff. Workmanship in some areas could be cleaner. Overall the house is a good value and we will enjoy living there. I'm also glad KB Home wants us to be completely satisfied with our home. And we will be. Thanks KB.

I would not recommend a KB Home to anyone based on my experience. They have a lot of quality control issues, the companies they contract trades to are lazy and do subpar work, and there is a lack of supervision. It is a shame because the building materials they use are great and they really go out of their way to use quality products with some items. On the other side though, they cheap out on some items that they really shouldn't have. However, good products mean nothing if they are installed poorly. Additionally, KB advertises that they offer an appliance warranty for the first year when they do not. They do not offer any warranty on appliances; you must register the product for the manufacturer warranty. A MANUFACTURER WARRANTY IS NOT A KB WARRANTY.

Seamless. Quality. Attention to detail. Family. This has been the best home building process, from beginning to end, that we could have hoped for. Our friends building homes only had horror stories to share about the Jacksonville builders they were using- we had none of those issues. Our home building process was stress free- in spite of so many places being backlogged and materials on backorder- KB Home came through and set realistic expectations and had minimal setbacks from outside vendors. We even received emails from the CEO explaining any large ticket items that were not only affecting Jacksonville builders, but builders across the US. That's what I call leadership from the top down to make us feel like family and not just a paycheck. I would work with this team again in a heart beat!

The home is lovely and I am so happy to be here and the neighborhood is quiet and great! I would love more light in front of my home for security reasons because it so very dark around the house and the park.

Lack of follow through. Lack of quality of construction. Lack of supervision. Lack of communication with one another. Left not knowing what the Right is doing. See yours personnel really needs to know floorplans, informed about HOA, Solar at least point you in the right direction. A lot of questions not answered and lack of understanding timelines.

I would just like to warn people who are buying a home from KB should be very diligent about how the home is built and the materials they are using. Also don't believe everything that they tell you, I just found out that I was deceived by countless people about an issue that should have been resolved many months ago.

The overall experience was a little crazy, but in a good way. First time buyers so we didn't know what to expect. The staff was great. They kept us updated on every single stage of the build. It was great to be part of the build process. They helped answer any of our questions and concerns in a timely manner. Never left us in the dark. 10s all around...

My overall experience with KB Home is 100% satisfaction. In fact, I consider myself a lucky first time home buyer to purchase a KB house. I was fully supported and helped through the buying process by sale agent Joshua **. He was super responsive and always so courteous, patient, understanding and supportive. During pandemic time and short supplies time, John ** and his KB construction team had to work with greater effort to deliver me the house in estimated time. They truly aimed for customer's satisfaction, did all the needed communication and work to fulfill requests and eliminate concerns. The workmanship was at top quality. The exterior and interior designs are wonderful, especially with all the smart appliances and pre-set systems for future technologies, also with the air control system that was designed for local climate. I can't be any happier.?

Overall I would say my experience with KB was great. All staff did their part of the process and made it a smooth transition for me. Although I may have had a few hiccups in between, it doesn't discourage their hard work and providing the best customer experience one can have.

KB homes has made the home buying experience, especially for first time home buyers, super easy! The sales counselor did a terrific job. The quality of the workmanship and the items furnished in the new home is extremely bad. Almost everything was scratched and/or damaged. There are way too many issues with the new home being built by KB Home in Madera County CA, so it's probably best to stay clear from KB Home in Madera County CA.

KB homes constantly kept me up to date with the home building process with weekly updates and pictures. Once we closed, the customer care exceeded my expectations. The on-site representative was very accommodating and was very quick to respond.

It was the most unpleasant experience purchasing a KB Home due to its workmanship and time delay. But it was the comment made by assistant supervisor from construction Dennis "Get out of my house, we are not doing a second walk through". The feeling I got from Dennis was that he is a racist and totally unprofessional the way he behave toward the buyer.

It was an amazing experience to buy a new house from KB Home. Despite the challenge of the pandemic and delays, KB Home constantly adapt to the changes, and strived to provide the best, fastest, and the most prompt service to us. Every staff we encountered is super nice and helpful. They address our questions and requests with the highest professionalism.

Respect is not demanded, it's earned and KB Home has earned my respect. While looking to buy my first house in a red hot real estate market, it's difficult to know who to trust. My overall experience with KB was plagued with mistrust, poor communication, and poor outcomes. The home we imagined is not the home we received. Spend more if you have to, and go with a builder that will actually be an active partner in the process.

KB Home provided us with a super fast turnaround timeline and followed through with it. From the time our new home was being constructed up until the time we received our keys, they stayed on course and didn't disappoint us.

The sales member, Scott really saved this sale. The house is nice, but the quality was not where I expected it to be. With everything that needed fixed and adjusted, it made what should be an amazing experience, an anxious one.

The entire process with KB was fantastic. The staff communicated with us very well and we felt we received a great value for our time and money. KB brings a great mix of custom options and processes as well as the security and inventory of a large builder. I would recommend KB to anyone.

We are extremely pleased with KB Home since the beginning and throughout the entire process. Easiest transaction we have done. Joe was constantly informing us and checking up on us before during and after closing. The construction crew, starting with Mario have been very responsive and quick to attend any of our concerns or request. Warranty dept Carlos was excellent as well. Informing us and listening to us and our needs. We are very happy with KB and will definitely recommend. Thank you!

The workmanship is very poor and there is no quality control. They are trying to build too many home too fast that there seems to be no time for people to inspect the quality of the workmanship before handing over to buyers.

It was an overall pleasant experience building with KB. Despite supply chain constraints that delayed building progression, our construction manager did everything he could to deliver our home as quickly as possible without jeopardizing quality. The biggest area of opportunity from our experience is with KB Studio and being able to share samples of selections with customers who are long distance.

Never heard of KB Home prior to the construction of our new home. The home was delivered as promised. The entire team was available at any time throughout the process to answer all questions. The sales representative became our go to person on the ground as we resided in MD. There were no issues not important enough to give us a prompt response. This was our first newly built home and KB homes delivered. Kudos to the KB Home's sales and construction team.

Being a first time homebuyer, the process can be nerve wracking. But with KB Homes, they were there every step of the process. From the sales team, design studio team, superintendent team, to the post closing team, they have all been helpful and explained everything along the way. KB Home made the process of buying our first home as easy as it could have probably been. There was a lot that went in to the production of our home, but the support of each and every team member made it a fun experience. The best part is the support did not stop after we moved in. KB is still offering to help us with little projects, wherever we need support to make our house a home.

Overall the experience from buying to getting keys was fair, I understand there's delays due to covid that are not anyone fault. My issues with KB homes are all post home delivery, there's an unfinished feel to my home.

This is our first time with a new build and we could not be more happier with the KB process. We were informed throughout the process and felt comfortable all the way. Not the fanciest builder out there but the best value. Did exactly what they said they would do, on time and under budget. On the few issues that arose KB fixed it immediately without trying to duck it. Based on my previous home building experiences with other builders this was amazing to me.

Everyone was very helpful and knowledgeable starting from the sales person and everyone in between to the end super sweet people. Felt like I've known them for years. This was the best thing that ever happened to my kids and I. We're very happy and want to thank everyone from the bottom of our heart.

Sales guy was great. Design center good. Rushed to close to make fiscal year and left with long exceptions list still trying to complete weeks later. Trying to schedule repairs and feel like we are in partially finished home that we can't fully clean with workers in and out.

Overall, if I was in a position to purchase a new build, KB Homes would be at the bottom of my list and will not recommend to anyone. I can't speak for my realtor, but I feel they are also not going to recommend KB Home to their clients. Front start, couldn't get a clear indication of end pricing, or at least attempt to plan a budget. To having build quality issues with a staff that didn't or didn't want to take ownership of problem to not being able to take possession of come at closing date. After possession, I feel anxious and fearful and already want to move out.

I couldn't be more happy with my KB experience. The KB team has been truly phenomenal and integral partners in making this home building project a success. They felt more like my friends. They all truly worked 110% minimum to make this experience truly enjoyable. It was readily evident that quality service and construction are integral to KB. This home definitely reflects the high KB standards.

Our experience with KB Homes has been a great one. Due to covid and the snow we had in Texas our home building process was prolonged; however, my wife and I understood that that was out of the hands of KB Homes. Watching my home come to life was very fun. The more work that was done to it each week, kept me coming back to the job site to see what else had been finished. I learned a lot in this process, and I feel KB Home sets the bar very high for customer satisfaction. Other builders have a lot to compete against.

KB Home has been outstanding from beginning to end, and they are still being that way. I feel like a I did make the right decision going through with them in building my house. The price range was perfect for us to make the dream of house owning come true. I'm really happy with my house and couldn't have imagine it any better. The house took about 10 or 11 months to be completed, which was expected with all the covid aftermath and delays. I actually expected way more time, but it came in at the perfect time. Home is a great value, efficient, and beautiful. Design experience was outstanding. Construction process was pain-free. Warranty care after closing demonstrates a dedication to the customer. Did we have some issues while building and finalizing the house, of course. All of those issues were resolved in a timely and professional manner.

Overall the experience was wonderful. I just recommend to have a model home available to the customer for each design you are offering. This will help the customer pick out and make necessary changes to the home before the construction/building starts.

This was my first experience buying a home to be constructed from ground up. The KB Home staff made every step very easy. Simply put, it was an amazing experience from beginning to end. Very interesting to go through the buying and Design Studio process whereby the customer is part of the beautifying of their home using the products and the experience of the people selling these items at KB Home in order to make the home to the customers' liking.

Jeri was amazing, she is the only reason I rate this a 3. If it wasn't for her this would be a terrible experience. The home was not completed when turned over to me. After multiple requests to have things fixed and corrected, not much has been done. Construction seems to be spread way too thin and does not communicate well at all. After a month in the house, I still don't feel I got the house I paid for.

From the sales staff to the final walk through, an extremely smooth process with excellent customer service. The KB staff was constantly available and responsive to all our concerns and questions. Thank you KB!!!

We really enjoyed working with the team at KB Home. They were great at keeping us informed through the process, especially during COVID times. It really seemed like the entire team had us in their best interest and took the time to get to know us as we went through the journey of building a home. They were great because not only was this during COVID, we also decided to sell our home, move into my parents home, plan a wedding, and get married during this time and they were there for every step of it.

My experience with KB HOME'S sales representative and KB HOME LOANS' representative was great and professional, I'm very happy with that. I love the design of the house is nice and spacious but they failed in the final details, paint, floor, showers, rail stairs and doors. Some of those mistakes have been fixed but others are still in process.

I feel like overall KB Homes provides a good product and has good pricing (value) but at the price point we purchased our Home for, I feel like some of the materials used were cheap and some of the Craftmanship a little shoddy. But maybe that's just "tract" Homes and there's no escaping that. At the end of the day though, we love our House and are mostly satisfied with our choice of KB Homes.

KB did not provide quality checks on the home. We are still waiting on open items to include stray electrical voltages in outlets, replacement appliances, and correct outlet placement. 49 days past walkthrough and counting.

From the very first meeting with our sales consultant, James **, to the final walk through with Blake...we felt completely happy with our choice to build a KB Home. We even used our own home inspector and he agrees that we purchased a very well built home! We LOVE our new home and our new neighborhood in Kyle, thanks!

Every team member from sales to construction to design team was friendly, professional and knowledgeable but most importantly had very timely responses. Though the completion date was 6 months later than originally expected I know Covid played a part in that. After moving in I did have numerous items from paint touch ups to cabinet and door replacements but nothing regarding appliances or warranties. Lastly, I found it very odd that no touch up paint was supplied and so I am unable to do some basic touch ups myself and possibly avoid needing so many different construction workers needing to come into the house post move in. So I am eager to get these final items completed so I can start fully enjoying the new home.

They did everything that they could to keep me informed of the progress on my home, as well as any setbacks that may have happened. I never had to question what was going on in the house. They made sure to respond as soon as possible to any questions or concerns I had.

Everyone at this company is kind, helpful, and genuinely interested in helping their buyers have a good experience. I was disappointed that some of the appliances at closing were not the ones I ordered but I don't hold that against KB. I believe everyone involved tried their best and the appliances are coming in now one by one.

The overall process felt effortless. This team made home building a fun and a learning experience for us. We didn't even have to reach out because they would contact us first. From the initial looking at the model to the day we closed, the process was a great one and would recommend KB homes to everyone. The amount of time and organization that goes into what these employees do and for each and every individual home amazes me. I applaud the company and its employees for the care they have about your personal requests and concerns. It truly felt very personalized in a world where people easily get overlooked.

It was my Husband and I first time buying a newly built home. We are so glad we chose KB Home for the job! Their staff starting from the sales team all the way up to the building staff were nothing but amazing! We can tell that they genuinely cared about us. They were with us every step of the way by keeping us up to date each on what was being built or of any delays or changes. We were able to visit the house a lot and see it get built from the ground up! Now that it is done, it's so beautiful! Very well made and we couldn't ask for anything else. So happy with our purchase!

I am coming up on my 2 year anniversary since signing to purchase a new home with KB Homes on 12/31/2019, New Years' Eve, will never forget because of the importance of the date. Everything was going smoothly until about 1 month before closing in June. As we all know lockdowns because of Covid hit in March 2020 and I eventually got laid off work towards end of May with a closing date on my home of mid June. I thought, this close to the closing date it should not be an issue as I had been told they verify your work earlier in the process but I am assuming because of Covid, this time they were verifying right before closing. Now I could have done a few shady things here but I was honest to them about it and told them that I had been laid off but I still wanted to move forward with the purchase.

KB process was a good one despite building a home during a pandemic with tons of setbacks. We enjoyed the whole process from beginning to end. Everyone was knowledgeable about every step in the process and answered our questions as soon as possible.

Our overall experience with KB relays on the staff. It was a joint effort that involved Nancy **, Jayson **, Amy **, Drew ** and Jesse **. Each and every one of them is a professional in their respective field and was a key element of the overall success.

I believe KB builds a quality product. The home is very well constructed, energy efficient, and great for families. The build process is stressful. There is terrible communication, the information you do get is not always accurate and the timelines are months off, if you are given a timeline at all. You won't be told when your house is being built, your best bet is to drive out a look for yourself.

KB Home has great features to their homes with a lot of options other builders don't offer and for a good price. A very thorough process and detailed process with a lot of contact with my Sales Rep during the entire process. My Loan officer with KBHS Home Loans was awesome as well. He did a great job at explaining everything to me during every step. Given the fact that we were building in the middle of a pandemic, KB did an amazing job for the circumstances they were given. I am very pleased with my home.

There is someone that works with you every step of the process and keeps you informed of progress. They make you feel that your home is their prime concern even with others being built at the same time. I am extremely pleased with the whole experience.

This is our first home, me and my wife got a phone call from someone in customer service after we left an inquiry online and that person (I wish I remember his name) help us find the right community based on our wants and also our budget, after that the whole process went crazy smooth, Jeff in sales was amazing and the model homes in Villages at Prairie Center had everything we needed, we can't praise enough the whole team who worked with us to get us our dream home.

The house itself is great, this review is more-so for the staff that helped along the way. John (sales), Breanna (design), Wendy (loan) and Chad (construction) were all amazing to work with. From the second we walked in the door we felt accommodated. No one tried to sway us in a direction we didn't want to go, they were all very responsive and were able to answer all of the questions that a first time home buyer could think of.

Words cannot express how awesome the process was building a house with KB Home. From the start to the finish everyone were so helpful and on top of things. My concerns and questions were always addressed immediately putting my mind at ease. I just had to let them do what they do best and the house came out so much better than I imagined. It's so scary buying your first home. It had to be perfect to justify the cost and it is! I have a few cosmetic things to submit to warranty but nothing major. Oh and the smoke alarms are way too sensitive or too close to the stove. They wake my family for breakfast every morning :(

As first time home buyers, KB Home made the whole process easy and smooth. We were updated weekly on our home build and it was very fun and exciting seeing the process of everything. I can't recommend them enough!

Our KB experience was longer than "normal" because of all the shortages and set-backs with Covid. It took almost a full year to complete our home. BUT that is okay because really got to meet the team. There was always a friendly face from KB at the community and they were always reassuring us that the house was going to get done and would all be worth the wait. I am happy to say that it was well worth the wait! We got everything we needed; communication from the team and a new home (with all the upgrades we wanted).

KB Home made our first time home buying experience extraordinary! The efficient communication, timely manner of completing construction, and terrific customer service is spectacular! My husband and I were confident in every decision about our home because we had an excellent KB Home with us every step of of way! We could not be happier with our choice to choose KB Home!

Honestly, and we are not being paid to say this, KB Home exceeded our expectations in every way. They delivered on their promises, and we have not one negative thing to say in regards to our home and the entire KB Home Buying process. We were kept in the loop every step of the way from start to closing. We enjoyed hearing weekly updates, and getting pictures of the progress. KB Home was like family during the process. Choose another builder, no customer service, have not seen one period, or integrity of the construction team. 3 times we blue taped, and they took the tape off without even fixing it, and thought we wouldn't notice and they still say put it on 30 day, no more. Really.

The financing process was thoughtful and continued to work with us to ensure we had the best option that fit our financial situation. We always received regular updates from all the teams and felt very comfortable asking questions. When we got closed on the home and did the final walkthrough, we were so amazed at the quality of the work and how it looked. The customer care team has been incredible and very helpful since moving in. Everyone has gone above and beyond to ensure we had the best experience.

I would never purchase a new home with KB Home again and I will tell everyone I know to buy with a different builder. Their employees are amazing, overworked, but helpful and attentive. But the process was lengthy, disastrous, and definitely not worth it.

I am honestly excited I went with KB Home to build my home. Everything has warranties and it is a safe investment for those reasons. Some builders don't let you select floors, cabinets, and paint colors but through KB I was able to select what I wanted and pick what upgrades I wanted.

Our KB Home experience was great because our GC was super helpful, informative, and involved. With this being our first home, it was a huge relief that we were able to have such a great and personable experience (we were able to write scriptures inside the framing and put our Bible under our foundation); of course there were problems, however the people who were over our building (Kenny and Luke) made sure those things were rectified.

I would not recommend getting a new built from KB or a KB home in general because they are all too rushed and not done properly. Me and many other KB home owners I've spoken with have had bad experiences with our new homes. They don't finish your home correctly by the closing day, they push the closing days, they don't fix what you tell them needs fixing. One of our neighbor's front yard is sinking already and all the sidewalks in our neighborhood are ugly. It was very obvious that this neighborhood was not a priority to KB.

KB Homes experience was fun for the most part. Meeting the staff from frank in the sales office to all the construction guys especially Brandon was a great experience. The care of making sure everything home related was as close to perfection as possible made me feel like I was being taken care of throughout the whole process. These are people that you wish you could be friend with on a personal level. I'm going to miss my weekly phone call thru the pandemic. I am overall happy with KB Home. I like the customization. I added a second master bedroom in the second floor. I utilize the Home Pro Wiring Bundle option and got wired internet connections throughout the house. My house HERS Index Score is 53 which is good for energy saving. I like that KB offer 9 ft. ceiling by default on the floor. I was hoping to have a high ceiling but it was not offered in my community. While signing the purchase contract, KB didn't require a lot of money to reserve the house and KB sales staff provided me with over 30 pages with upgrade options. This gave me plenty of time to chose what I needed for the upgrade. I had a fun time in the Design Studio. I did felt some of the upgrade options were kind of limited. But overall, I am happy with my upgrade option. To sum up, I am happy with my KB Home Experience and will recommend others to try them out.

Started off happy experience. But then as it goes on you definitely get feeling that once they have your $, you are going to get what you get. The excuses and lack of ownership or even own pride in their work was very disappointing. Have built 3 prior homes and had 2 friends also building during COVID that didn't seem to have same issues which makes me think company issue to be addressed.

KB Home has been a positive experience with each step of the home buying process. I did not feel lost as the staff has kept me up to date and informed on the building process. The design center was a great experience and options available was what I was looking for. Options ranges from the budget to the luxurious. The Construction Superintendent was very knowledgeable and has been pushing to get items in a timely manner even when it has been difficult to obtain supplies during this time. Each staff member has been easy to communicate with and has been available for any questions. Will recommend KB Home to others.

We are pleased with the home and the aesthetic look of it, however we believe things were rushed and not done to normal standards. Our front door is a huge concern of ours and still isn't fixed after almost 2 months and more than 10 attempts. The design studio had great choices and we are happy with them. Upon closing no one cleaned our home before we closed and it was filthy. I couldn't even allow my baby to get on the floor because it was filthy and there were pieces of trash and caps from things all over the floor. The planking had pencil marks from installation in multiple rooms.

I would never want myself or wife to ever go through an experience like this again. I cannot tell you the stress or tears she had during this experience. While we love our home, we need to do a lot of work to it to make it to our caliber.

KB Home mortgage almost killed our dream of owning this home. Jason ** misled us when we were up front and kept him in the loop the entire time. We feel betrayed and to further add insult to injury his manager Sara D. Also felt the need to tell me that we "learned our lesson" implying that it was our fault our loan fell out. There was no one to rectify the situation and this caused our loan rate to go up because we had to find another lender. Worst experience. Will never recommend KB to another human being.

I built a house once over 20 years ago and the process was uninformed, annoying and slow. KB Home truly did an amazing job of educating us about one of the biggest purchases we'll ever make in our lifetime, and we are completely happy with our decision - from build quality, customization, warranty and price, we couldn't be happier!!!

Overall I loved the process and the home. But hate being racial profiled by armed security when visiting my house while under construction was not what I expected or my family will forget. We definitely didn't feel comfortable visiting our home when the security was there.

We love our KB home. However the overall buying experience was tainted by the closing process. We felt a false sense of urgency to close. As a result, we received the keys to a house that had not been properly vetted by the builder. As they say, "the devil is in the detail", and we feel that KB Homes did not address the final details, and/or workmanship, well prior to the close of escrow. Faced with issues, that truly were more of an annoyance than anything else, we are grateful that they at least have a good customer maintenance team in place.

Delivery was right when they said the house would be done and the house was in perfect shape except for one minor issue that was corrected within 48 hours. Customer service is amazing. Staffs are responsible and helpful. It's better to delay the closing date than hurry up to catch the closing date and leave the details not polished. And the closing date was still delayed twice. It's not an unacceptable issue, but it could be handled better.

We chose a lot we thought was going to have a brick wall on the back of the house. We found out that the wall was "not" the edge of the property. Instead, there is a walk path/bike path behind the house, between the brick wall and our property (back fence). This was NOT explained or disclosed at sale point. The largest issue is what happens at the other side of the wall: a ** TRAIN passes thru. Of course, this was "NOT" labeled or disclosed on the sales materials or diagrams.

I'm leaving this review so that others will think twice before using KB. My first home building experience was in the Midwest with another company. KB doesn't even come close. KB - Harbor Pointe Community, California. Sales Experience: Our experience was OK, but others in the community have stated that they were mislead or lied to by their sales' representative with respect to certain home and community features. Design Studio: KB only has 1 design studio session, which isn't enough. They rush you to pick your selections, and the selections they have are pretty cheap.

When we started our home buying experience with KB Home we were a little leery. We had been house hunting for a couple of months. We even had a contract on a home and when the house was inspected we found out several things that were hidden. Our first surprise was the price of the lot in reference to the size. We selected a beautiful lot at a fraction of the cost of similar lots of the same size. It was very easy to qualify for the build. The builders worked very hard to complete the house once it was started. We even drove by at times to take a look when we thought no one would be there like on a Sunday or when it was raining but most times there was still someone working. When the house was completed it was even more beautiful that we had imagined. The house just flows from the landscaping to all through the house. The general construction and all the hidden features make KB Home number one in my opinion!

From start to finish it's been a wonderful experience. Nothing was too much trouble, any queries, etc answered straight away, it made the whole process of buying our first house in the USA an amazing memorable experience. The construction people really ruined the experience for me. They didn't come and fix anything they said they were. We also had our closing date changed the day before because of construction's lack of communication. That wasn't very professional.

I love the location and neighborhood of my home and that is the reason why I went with KB Home. I would suggest to pay attention at every step of the construction process and pay for a private inspection prior to closing on the home (even though it's a brand new home, mistakes are made). The quality of the work and materials could be better. Also, don't shy away from shopping around for a better rate other than KB loans.

KB did a great job overall on our home. We are very pleased with the way the sales staff and construction staff helped us walk through this process. We do wish we had a few more upgrade options especially when buying a home in this price range. We also wish they would allow us to "customize" the home a little more by having higher quality options such as windows, interior woodwork, interior insulation, etc. But overall we would definitely recommend this KB home and we are very happy with our home.

House was delayed several times. That was a huge hassle. Garage door was not on even after we were told the house was �done�. Mistakes on the house during the final walk through. Ground was not level on move in. It sucks because we had to reschedule our time off several times and movers as well as move out date. Even after, company has had to come out several times to fix mistakes made.

As a Realtor and previous new build homeowner, I can honestly say that KB exceeded my expectations. Especially during Covid, when we knew to expect delays due to backordered items, our home was completed very close to the original date, and was given a final walk though date well enough in advance. My sales rep was very polite, caring and the reason I signed with KB. The complete experience from start to finish was not as exciting and happy as I started out thinking it would be. I understand that sometimes there are things that may not be able to be controlled when building a home and dealing with contractors, the city, warehouses and suppliers on a large scale. However, I think that keeping your home buyer informed accurately and often should be a priority. I think that KB Home dropped the ball where that is concerned. I like my home, but I do think that a lot of the construction materials used for the building of the house could have been of better quality. The appearance of my home is beautiful, but there are some underlined issues that I do need to fix.

Every step of the way I received great hospitality. Even now that my home is built, there is construction going on and I get to see everyone I worked and we exchange smiles. It's great to know that they still care. I know when the construction is over I will miss seeing them around!

The construction process saw no urgency until the sales team discovered they could meet a quarterly closing in 3rd quarter. Then they rushed the construction and our home was delivered unfinished and remains so today!

Builder and sales agent were fantastic, Corporate only cared about the bottom line and pushed us to close before the house was confidently completed because they wanted to meet their quota for the quarter. I felt rushed and uncomfortable, there was absolutely no wiggle room with the closing date after the house missed the initial completion date (covid shortage of supplies). Corporate completely ruined the home buying experience.

Good learning experience for me and my family, the options KB offers is amazing you really can make your house extravagant or just keep it simple. I believe the flaw KB has is communicating, keeping the buyer in the loop of everything. This is a fun, happy but stressful process and we only look for honestly and assurance going through this.

The overall experience was very new to us, it's something I never thought we would be able to accomplish. KB Home made it possible with everybody that was involved and nobody left us out in the rain. I would definitely do this again with KB Home family.

That make a big difference in the market. I love my home and the space so great and peaceful. Great from the beginning to the end.

KB Home really is customer based. Every step of the way, we felt like we could always depend on the whole team to give us responses, timelines, and answers. They had made the home buying process simple but informative.

It was a long process from start to finish for building the home, but one of the staff members was always in contact about status of the building. It was a difficult challenge of seeing the place in person because of Covid, but the staff accommodated by providing pictures of the updates.

First time home buyer and decided to go with a new build through KB Homes. Fell in love with the model unit they showed us and found a great unit that matched the layout. Was awesome to get to check in on the progress of the house as it was built and when it all finished it was such an easy process to get it up and running. The attention to detail they put into the homes is incredible, every room is well thought out and everything has a purpose. Would 100% do it again and couldn't be happier with our house.

If KB would like to receive a 10 then they should take us back to the beginning of this whole process and be honest up front. Be honest about the real cost of the home and let us know that almost everything you would expect in a new home is really an upgrade and will cost a lot of money. Be honest and say that we really won't get a brand new home but a damaged one because of poor construction. Be honest and say that they really don't care about our satisfaction, they only care about taking our money. Be honest and say that we will receive terrible customer service after closing on the house. Be honest and say that they will rush closing and rush construction and slap the house together as quick as possible. Be honest and say they KB does not care about the customers or even its own reputation. All they care about is making as much money as possible on the cheapest product they can provide.

I never in my life purchased a brand new home, watching it being built from the ground up was a great experience. I love the people at KB - they are knowledgeable, thoughtful and considerate. Overall, it was a great experience and I absolutely love my new home.

You can tell that you are working with a good company when everyone from sales, construction, design studio, loan office all the way to insurance broker from KB Home are so nice, fast and friendly. The most important point that win my trust is that whenever there is an issue, they are always honest and went above and beyond to resolve it. That says so much about the integrity and passion of the people that works there. I would definitely buy another home from KB Home and recommend my friends/family.

We were looking at several different builders in the area. The price point, location and especially, the staff, are the reasons why we selected KB for our home and we were not disappointed. Thank you all.

Financing options, after negotiating were fair. My home thus far is standing tall and beautiful. I think KB should look into backyard landscaping options. Even minimal options. Overall I am very happy with my purchase and the buying experience with KB Home builders

KB Home is a fantastic builder. We did incur some issues at the beginning of the build, but the process was better as the build got off the ground. We love our home and are happy KB built it. We would recommend KB to friends and family.
