IVL did a great job so I feel they deserve a positive review. I own a business so I know that most people only take the time to post complaints. I wanted to take the time to write something nice. The guys were great. Move went smooth and cost remained the same. I would use these guys again and highly recommend them.

Great service until they have your money. It was the highest cost quote I received, and I was talked into you get what you pay for speech. That may be true, but it isn't with this company. You pay a fortune, and after you're locked in, good luck getting any answers. International Van Lines passed me off to Safeway Moving Company in Colorado. I could never get a straight answer about delivery. Finally, the delivery shows up. It is one guy, and my furniture is broken!!! I called again and they are finally sending out additional help, but they won't be here for another half hour. 2 hours into my move and I have exactly 2 items into my apartment, and they are both damaged! Serious SCAM!

I used IVL for my move from CA to IN. I chose IVL based on a referral from a friend that had used them 2 years ago. I didn't call any other companies so I am not sure how to compare IVL with other movers. I can say that IVL was very professional and did a great job packing our goods. The movers showed up on time and literally packed everything. My shipment arrived at destination about a week later with no damage minus a couple of dings. All in all the experience was very good and I would recommend them.

I recently used International Van Lines for my move from Los Angeles, to New York. I was very pleased with their services and decided to leave a review. The movers were great! I have them pack furniture only and everything arrived with no damage. I also want to give a big shout out to the crew Mike, Dan and Jacob. They were awesome and bore with me while I was almost having a nervous breakdown. We were very pleased and would use them again.

My company recently relocated me from Chicago to Brooklyn. My company actually chose IVL and I didn't really have much of a say. However, I was very pleased with IVL. Since my company was paying for the move, I had them do a full pack service. The movers literally packed everything from my dishes to clothes. The foreman Dario and his crew were extremely helpful. The guys were easy to deal with, well-dressed and polite. I was happy I had found good movers because I had a terrible experience in the past.
My move was placed into storage for 1 month. IVL provided 1 month free storage which also included the delivery when I was ready. I had received my goods about 8 days after I requested delivery from storage. The delivery crew was different than the pick up crew, but equally as professional. I was very pleased with the quality of their work and I would use them again.

I chose this van line because they had the highest rating on Consumer Affairs. However, they subcontracted with Empire Van Lines and this company had all the characteristics of a poorly rated van line. The furniture arrived thirteen days after the delivery date. The supervisor was rude and left early even though we had thirteen boxes missing. There were gouge marks on our bedroom dresser and my husband's computer table leg was broken.
I had put out a lovely brunch buffet for the workers but the supervisor insisted they leave because they had another delivery, so the workers never got to eat. I suspect our lost boxes may have still been on the truck and went to the next delivery site, but I had no way of knowing. They did not do a walk through at the end. Apparently they expected my 94 year old mother to move her corner curio cabinet herself because they did not put it into the corner. Because we packed our own boxes (and did a good job, nothing broke) the insurance only covered the furniture damage and we were not compensated for the lost boxes. Overall it was a very negative experience.

We had our furnishings moved to two different locations. We moved from Tennessee to California and from Tennessee to Idaho. We also had a vehicle to move. International Van Lines did the moving only while we did the packing. Everything went fine. The sales team was very friendly and they gave me an appropriate quote.

My experience with International Van Lines was horrendous and extremely stressful. I found the company on Consumer Reports and called in the beginning of June (2016) to hire them to move me from Atlanta to Denver. The move was scheduled for June 30 and I was told by the sales person, Ryan, that they have their own fleet and don't contract their jobs out. Big plus for me. But that wasn't the case.
After the sale with Ryan my move was assigned to an 'account manager,' Kelly, who was supposed to be "handling my move details". It took me multiple emails and phone calls to get Kelly to respond to me any time I needed answers. And she typically would respond to my voice mails or emails with a vague email. I think it was a rare occurrence she ever called me back.
My pick-up on June 30 was scheduled for a 12-4 window. My personal belongings would then be in their storage unit until I found a place in Denver for delivery. The first 30-days of storage was free and each month after that was a set (what I thought at the time) reasonable fee. The movers showed up at 4:30 (30-minutes outside of their window). I know it is 30-minutes but it then took them 5-hours to move my stuff out of a 2 bedroom house. (I didn't even have a couch). This is when I learned that my move was contracted out to a company called David and Goliath. I was told, originally, they don't contract moves.
My stuff went into their (D&G) storage in Georgia. When I called 20-days later inquiring about when my card would be charged for the additional month of storage I was directed to a they told me I couldn't pay with Amex which I had previously asked and they [IVL] confirmed I could. So after tracking Kelly down I got this resolved and they charged me $300 on 8/10 for my August storage (July was free).
Kelly then started becoming harder to get responses from. By this time I had a clear move-in date of 9/2. At this point I am now talking to the owner of David & Goliath, Eli, who is one of the most despicable human beings I've ever come across. He took every chance to condescend me and make me feel as I am to blame for every misunderstanding. At one point, on 9/2 (first date of delivery), he told me that he was going to "sell my stuff on the black market" and asked me "What do you think you are doing? Ordering an Uber or a delivery across country."
I was trying to get clear answers to two very simple questions; 1. Why was my final quote $300 more than the original quoted final payment? It couldn't be for an additional month of storage since he told me the movers left Georgia on 8/29. 2. Are they assembling my furniture? I didn't even get to ask #1 because he went off on me about the assembling the furniture question. You would think I was unreasonable. So I hung up on him and avoided any calls from him, because remember... I HIRED INTERNATIONAL VAN LINES to do my move! Why am I dealing with this horrific person from another company! So much more happened before the delivery finally happened on 9/6.
On 9/6 the movers called around 9 am (I was supposed to have 24-hour notice) to ask if they could unload that afternoon. Because I was anxious to get this whole experience done I rearranged my schedule to accommodate. I arrived at my house at 4 pm and they were outside waiting. The supervisor took a page from Eli's book. He was just as horrible. Condescending, rude, telling me where I should put things (because he didn't feel like moving stuff downstairs to basement). "It would be a lot easier on (us)," he said. He also claimed that the additional $300 was for another month's storage (of which I didn't use!) but I am still waiting on clarity from IVL. All of my wine glasses were broken. An $800 mirror was broken. A media console has a big chunk knocked out of it (to which he replied, "You shouldn't buy this type of wood."
When they were assembling my beds the hardware was all missing. He blamed me saying they didn't disassemble the beds so it isn't his problem. THEY needed to complete the job I paid them for. I went to ACE hardware to buy more screws for the beds and by the time I came back the movers were gone. They left all of my doors open, my furniture in the middle of the living room, beds not assembled, and garbage in the yard.
I wrote Mike at IVL (remember him...he was supposed to be one of my reps from the beginning) an email. To his credit he called me right away and was able to secure a local handyman company to complete the job the next day. But not to Mike's credit, he did tell me he would follow up the next day with me and find a way to compensate me for my experience. It has been two days and I haven't hear a word from Mike. I don't expect to. Silver lining - I have the MOST amazing handyman now in Denver. And if I can save anyone from hiring International Van Lines and David and Goliath movers EVER then hopefully I am helping another person.

I hired this company because of its positive review here on consumer affairs. It was a move from NJ to Illinois. After all the research and speaking with other moving companies, I chose IVL. Turns out, worst decision ever. Most uncaring, most dishonest, and worst customer service company I ever encountered. Bar none. I know moving is a stressful process, but companies like IVL make the moving process 1,000x all the more stressful. I really do not understand why there are good reviews on this company because my friend suffered the same fate with this very poor performing and uncaring company.
I was asked to list down every thing I was going to move; number of boxes, all the furnitures, etc. I am single so I did not have much stuff. I was quoted $3200 which included the $700 fee for moving my car from NJ to IL. But the guys who picked up my stuff (which turned out to be a different company from IVL. They are called Premiere Relocation Co) told me I had to pay $5,070 because apparently, the initial quote was not an accurate estimate. My friend hired IVL also for a move from NJ to Alabama. She was also charged $1,500 more than her initial quote after her stuff was picked up. I know a quote is an estimation, but to be so far off from the estimate is such a deceiving tactic. What if you did not have that extra amount of money to pay off those guys?
After I paid for my initial downpayment, my contact guy Justin just stopped communicating with me. I left voicemails and emails repeatedly for the next two weeks. I was actually begging them to reply and let me know when they would pick up my stuff since they gave me a time frame of 3 days even though I asked for a specific date. Whereas, when they were trying to close the deal, they called day after day. I was not contacted until the day before the pick up.
On the day of the apparent pick up, I stayed at home and did not go to work of course so I could be there. The dispatcher called me at 8PM and told me they could not pick my stuff up because there was a confusion with the customers. I was so infuriated and was on the brink of just finding another company to deal with, but of course, I had no other choice. I was working, I had no more time, and I had already paid my downpayment. I was left with no choice but to accept whatever they say and to find another coverage for me at work.
On the contract, the delivery time frame was 7-21 days. They said usually stuff gets delivered within 10 days, but not a guarantee. After 10 days of waiting and not hearing anything from them, I started calling and emailing and begging to let me know the situation of my delivery. Finally I got an email saying it would be delivered between these certain dates. And of course, come those certain dates, still no words and no calls and no replies from anyone. Finally they showed mercy and told me when to expect my stuff. It was after 23 days that the stuff was delivered. They have no answer why it took that long.
On the day of the delivery, some of my boxes were dilapidated and some of the boxes' bottoms were damp. My book shelf was unrecognizable. 2 of my lamp posts were bent beyond repair. And a big piece of table top mirror which I did not own was included in my stuff. When I told them it is not mine, they said "you can keep it if you want it." I said, "I'm sure the owner of that is looking for it", but they just shrugged the thought. Imagine if it was one of your precious stuff? So, I emailed Justin and telling him what is the insurance policy regarding my broken stuff. I never got an answer. I am not expecting anyway.
So, just warning you if ever you deal with this company. They will not communicate with you once they have gotten their downpayment. And then you are handed off to individual external contractual companies from all over the place, who also do not communicate with you. But you will get your stuff, maybe after 3 weeks, expect damage, expect a lot of frustrations. I just hope you have no valuable stuff because clearly this company does not value their customers.

I moved 300 miles across one state. I used IVL because of their rating and the initial quote. But the quote they gave me was pretty far off from what I ended up paying. It wasn't a problem though because my company was paying for it. But if I was paying for it 100%, then I might have a little bit of a problem with it. The moving crew was very professional and fast. However they showed up 12 hours late. They said they'd be here by noon and they got here around 11:00 that night.
I understand they were late because they were stretched in terms of them moving somebody else in Chicago, and then they drove from Chicago to me. I just wish I would've known about it beforehand before I took the whole day off work. But otherwise, they were great. Nothing was broken with all my furniture. I've heard horror stories about movers charging an arm and a leg and then breaking all the furniture. That didn't happen at all with them. I didn't find a single scratch on anything so I'm not complaining about having to pay extra because they packed everything, with extra boxes, etc.

I would not recommend International Van Lines under any circumstances. My movers, who I believe IVL contracted the move to, arrived late. They left trash strewn about my apartment as well as bolts and screws from furniture they disassembled. Based on the number of boxes I had, the team leader stated he believed I had over 100 cubic feet (cf) more volume than I estimated. This amounted to several hundred dollars. He offered to give me a break and only was going to charge me for around 70 cf more. I disputed his method pointing out that several of my boxes were small. After seeing how my belongings were packed in the truck, I disputed the volume again.
I phoned IVL several times to seek guidance but no one answered. I was told by the team lead if I signed the revised written estimate, I could work out my issues with IVL later. Based on this and because my lease was expiring in two days, I signed the paperwork. When I finally reached someone at IVL the next week, he and I agreed on the phone that the movers and I could measure my goods upon delivery to ensure the estimated volume was accurate. I confirmed this through e-mail.
The delivery team did not have knowledge of this plan, however, and stated they would not measure anything. I phoned the dispatch manager who told me that if I paid the movers in full I could measure the inventory myself and report any overages. Before paying anything I requested an e-mail confirmation: he stated "We will take care of any extra [volume] that was extra charged to your account." I paid in full and measured my inventory. I calculated that I was overcharged for 51 cubic feet. I requested reimbursement for the overages as well as for the team's failure to reassemble my bed properly and to reassemble my coffee table at all.
After more than a week with several phone calls and email exchanges I was offered $200 for overages, subject to me signing a non-disclosure agreement (NDA) and $150 for failure to reassemble my furniture. When I requested an explanation for the $200 reimbursement for overages--which was far less than I requested--I was sent a picture of a spreadsheet with my name and the volume that the actual movers had charged IVL. No other satisfactory explanation was given for why $200 was the appropriate amount. A supervisor also explained that "legally IVL doesn't have to give [me] anything, nor does the other moving company, because [I] signed the revised written estimate."
I offered to accept the $200 subject to a modified-NDA where I waived any right to legal action or any other method of seeking reimbursement but retaining my right to post about my experience online. IVL rejected this offer. A supervisor offered to pay me the difference between what I was requesting and what IVL was offering for the overages. I rejected this offer, refusing to take money from an employee of the company. Only after this employee offered to pay out of pocket did I received a phone call from a more senior leader. At one point he told me that, if he were in my shoes and disputed the volume he would not have signed the revised written estimate unless someone held a gun to his head. Still, he would consider the case and get back to me the next morning.
The next afternoon he offered me the amount I requested for overages but still subject to me signing an NDA. I rejected this offer explaining that IVL employees had not told me about this restriction on the phone or in email when we initially discussed the plan for remedying the overages, if any. In addition to the items listed above, I was shocked with how unresponsive IVL was. By my estimate around 77 of the 96 phone calls I made to IVL went to voicemail from the day before my move until the day I was offered $200 for overages.

I moved from Chicago to New York for work. I did my research, read the reviews, got a couple of quotes. I decided to go with International Van Lines, and the move was seamless. The bed was a day late, but they were good in managing that. They were quick picking the stuff up. They came within the window and nothing was broken. Everything worked out good.

I moved around a couple of times due to jobs. Looking up reviews for international moving services online, I went with International Van Lines due to their reviews. The only thing was I didn't know that they contract with smaller companies in whatever city to do the move for them. I thought International Van Lines was going to do all of it. But it’s fine the way they did it and the crew was good. I would continue to use International Van Lines.

I had a change in jobs and had a really awful experience moving down from Massachusetts to Florida with another company. So I went on Google and looked at the reviews and chose International Van lines for my move from Miami, Florida to Worcester, Massachusetts. The quote was a little bit off because I had more items than what I had thought I had, but the crew was great. They brought extra boxes and they were able to package larger items. They are super friendly, super helpful and was quick, clean, in and out. They delivered all of my stuff before I actually got to Massachusetts. So they were quicker delivering it than it was for me to drive up. All of them were great. From the guy that took my call originally with the quote and getting it, to the guys that actually did the move. I would absolutely recommend or use them again if I ever need services in the future.

Disastrous experience! Pickup was 7 1/2 hours late (I had to meet 2 men at a deserted storage facility at 8:30 pm and didn't leave there until 11pm. I am a single woman!). I come to find out from one of the movers (a subcontractor - New Life Transport) that they weren't even told about my pickup until 5pm that evening after I had been told early that morning that my pickup would be around 1pm! Once there they attempted to charge me DOUBLE the agreed price. I told them to forget it and to leave, then they came down to 'only' $1000 more than what was agreed upon. The drivers never filled out or gave me an inventory list (which is in violation of Federal Regulation) which their 'boss' (the subcontractor) on the phone promised me he would send me. I continually called to get the paperwork and was given the runaround each time and LIED TO about when my things would be loaded onto the truck from a warehouse in New Jersey.
After a dozen or so calls and a threat of filing a formal complaint to the FMSCA I was told my things would be here first thing Monday am. Didn't happen! Kept getting calls that they were delayed and would be to me in the afternoon. Hah! Got a call at 6:30 that they weren't coming until the next day. It took them 28 days to bring my things! Two chairs, bathroom cabinet, a piece of exercise equipment and a huge plastic bin of valuable handmade costumes all missing!!! They even tried to give me 4 items that weren't mine. You can be sure I will be filing a formal complaint with the FMSCA!

They have a very good moving crew. We did the packing ourselves and they did another wrapping and handled them carefully. I didn't get any broken item. However, their carrier is very particular. If I say the number of items is 10 boxes, they take only 10 boxes. We had only nine boxes but still basically it's the same charge. They won't take anything extra than what we have. There is no plus or minus kind of thing. If not for that, this move would have been better. Overall, I'm happy with my experience with them.

My International Van Lines move was scheduled for a cross-country move from Seattle to New York City at 09:00-10:00 AM on 31 July; it was to take all day and involve two locations. Unbeknownst to me, the move was subcontracted to GTS Shipping. On 30 July, some called to say International Van Lines (or its subcontractor) was overbooked and would like to do the job on Saturday. The person offered to pay me to change the date. I briefly considered the proposal and then realized that three closings had been arranged around this moving time and that I had to vacate my condo and get on a plane to NYC as scheduled. Faced with that information, the caller said he would get to my home at the appointed time.
Long story short, the movers, who seemed to be day laborers and had already done a job that day, arrived at 04:30. The company had not arranged for parking so the movers did not finish the job until around 10:30 at which point I had been up for 22 hours. The delay meant that the schedule I had for cleaning my condo and saying goodbye to friends was completely upended, but all this turned out to be the good part of a nightmare.
On 17 August, my stuff arrived - MUTILATED!!! The next day I got the information for filing a claim, which includes things like submitting a receipt and the manufacturer number. However the company lost things like family heirlooms, original research data, gifts, out-of-print CDs, family photos, and so forth. For example, take Box 2.18, shown in the picture. It contained a crystal plate (a family heirloom handed down to me through maternal relatives - no proof of purchase!), several other decorative plates that my international students have given me over the years (no proof of purchase), a papier-mâché donkey created for me by a Mexican artists, and a candle. And that’s just one box.
The worst part of this nightmare is the emotional toil - looking at all these mutilated boxes, knowing I will have to sort through the trash that is inside looking for any treasures that may have survived. I am SICK through and through. What International Van Lines and its subcontractor, GTS Shipping did to my things - which friends and students had packed with such care - is nothing short of criminal.

This company is filled with dishonesty - at every step of the way, in every department. They are exploiting many of their employees and sub-contracting the majority of the move, which they promise not to do. We are currently looking into our options for litigation. I have never interacted with so many dishonest and terrible individuals. Please, please, please, avoid them and recognize that they have many false, paid-for reviews online. It should not be legal what this company does to people, including some of their own employees.
Our story: Our family was stranded 4 weeks ago at 3:00 a.m. with a huge number of our items still left sitting on the sidewalk before we had to be out of our house the next day for the new owners. We watched our moving truck pull away after being told (at 2:30 a.m.) that they actually would not have room after all in the truck (because it had been filled with other items from previous moves before they got to us). We had to cancel our flights, my husband had to rent a Penske truck at 7:00 a.m. for an additional $2000, get the help of our neighbors to fill it with the items the company couldn't fit, and drive across the country by himself. And though our move was not even completed, we were charged over $3000 more than the initial estimate that we had to pay before the men left our house at 3:00 a.m.
The truck arrived 1.5 days after it was scheduled and had only two people in it. They were both nice, hard-working young men who are clearly being exploited. They were so late getting to us because the company had thrown two or three other "urgent" jobs at them at the last minute before us. In fact, we learned they had finished another move at 3:00 a.m. the previous evening, then had another morning move, then came to us. These men had not been getting proper sleep and then were driving a 26' truck through the night, putting themselves and everyone else on the roads at risk. Our two movers proceeded to phone a number of local men to help pack our home many of whom clearly had no prior experience packing. Who knows the condition our items will be in (if we ever even receive them).
It has now been a month since we were left in DC at 3:00 in the morning. We have been living in Seattle with our three young children in an empty house. All of our repeated calls and emails are either ignored or essentially dismissed as we're passed from one person to another, and told sarcastically that "they don't have tracking devices on their trucks". We finally learned our items sat in a warehouse in the DC area for weeks. Only today did we finally receive a call from the driver from the truck. The driver works for a separate moving company (not for IVL), and just told me that the truck is too large to come directly to our home. He said the company will call to give us the additional cost of a shuttle truck to actually get our items to our home. Or we can come meet him in a parking lot with our own rented truck and do everything else ourselves, but will still owe the initial amount of the outstanding balance - which will only be accepted in cash.
So although the address of our new house has been in the system this entire time, and we paid for a full pack, move and unpack (which means unpacking with a full team on the other side and re-assembling furniture), we will now be expected to pay additional money that we were never informed of to get our items to our home at all. The driver said if we fail to pay the remaining balance in cash, he will hold our items in an undisclosed location (I imagine eventually to be auctioned-off? ). This has truly been a nightmare from the start. Again, do not believe any other reviews you come across. People have been paid to post them. Do not hire this company. I very much hope they fail and any honest employees they do have can find work elsewhere where they will be treated well and fairly. (And our three children, ages, 2, 5, and 8, who would very much like to see some of their toys again one day.)

We moved to another state for personal reasons. That was the first time we had moved and used IVL as our professional mover. I talked to them and liked their representative. It was very good with him. My moving date was changed a couple of times and he accommodated me with that. It went okay, too, with the moving crew. However, I had an issue with the size of the van. I had talked to the representative about some things that were going up into the room. The movers said that there will be an extra charge and I said no. That worked out. The fault was probably on my end that I didn't make it clear about the size of the van I needed because the van was not big enough, and my son had to make two trips. But as far as getting things here, that was fine.

If I could give "zero" star to International Van Lines, I would do so. Never ever recommend this disorganized service. The movers do not care about your stuff, and will not come on time. Times means nothing to them, and you have to just wait, and see when they like to come! They took my apartment entrance card with them, and never returned the card back. When you need to talk with somebody at IVL, nobody is there to answer your questions. The delivery date is NOT clear yet, and it is a disaster. The movers picked up my stuff on July 25th, and still the delivery date is NOT known today (August 12th); After 3 weeks they can NOT figure out when they will deliver my stuff!

That mover made sure that my stuff was delivered at the last day of the obligated period and there was no news in between as to when the stuff is moving.

This company was an absolute nightmare to deal with. When we didn't get the phone call we were told we were get to let us know exactly when our movers would arrive, and then again when the movers didn't show up at all during the two-day window they gave us for our move!!! That's right, they didn't show up and no one contacted us to let us know they were delayed. My husband and I called multiple numbers that we found on their website, emailed anyone we could find the name of, and not a single person would return our phone calls or emails.
I finally reached the "moving coordinator" the following morning on the phone. There was never so much as an apology for the lack of communication or even for their failure for them to uphold their end of our moving contract (to show up on time!). I have never dealt with more unprofessional people and have never felt so frustrated working with a company of any kind. I wouldn't recommend this moving company to my worst enemy.

I was moving to a new rental house four blocks away and used International Van Lines. It was a hard job. It was a four-bedroom house that they moved completely in two days. I got no problem with the crew chief and his guys, they were very professional, except this one particular laborer who was a complete idiot and extremely rude at the end of the day. He hovered over me and the crew leader while we were conducting business. He then basically walked up to me and demanded a tip.
I spoke with the crew chief at the time regarding this issue, because this laborer did it in front us. I was aware that I was expected to tip the crew. However, as I'm not the guy running the crew, the only person that can truly evaluate the work the crew did is the guy that's leading it. My intention was to provide all of the tip money to the crew chief and disburse it to them. He was extremely angry about it and he said to me, "There's no way that guy is gonna work on any of my crews ever again."

IVL didn't have the right truck secured at the time and so the driver that they got was off the clock. He drove the truck away and we ended up having to extend the packing and moving of the truck by an extra day. There was a little bit of confusion and that part wasn't the smoothest.

I was moving from California to Minnesota to take another job with a different company. I searched for movers through Google and found a website with different moving companies and reviews. I got a quote from different people and it turned out International Van Lines had the best quote and the best rating. We have them do the packing for us and I needed them to move our car as well. Our experience with their moving crew was good. They did a really good job in tracking all of our stuff. They're really fast and I like that it wasn't a per hour fee. We would have paid a lot more if it was. However, there were a couple of things that I would have packed differently. Example, they put a bottle and nail polish in a cabinet and it broke. It was probably from the temperature change because it was on a winter. So, they spent some time scraping the nail polish out of the wall of my cabinet.
Overall, it was a really good experience. The move went smoothly and not too many stuff got dinged. The company that moved our car did a good job but there were a lot of little fees. We gave $700 more than what we needed to and that was a surprise. In general, there were extra hidden prices. The initial price was lower than some of the others but by the time everything's been added, their price is about the same. IVL wasn't great but if we are moving again, I would definitely consider using them and they'd get more weight compared to an unknown company. It would've been great though if they made sure nothing broke and if they were more clear on how the pricing of getting our car was supposed to work. Also, it would have been better if we pay the people who drop our stuff off digitally, because when we got to Minnesota, there's no Bank of the West which is who we use in California. So it was hard until I get that much cash to give them.

I had to move from California to New Jersey due to business, and I went with International Van Lines for my move because their quote came back lower than others. In retrospect, I should have asked for somebody to come out and do a detailed quote because we did the quote over the phone and I underestimated the amount of stuff that I had.
It was fine with the moving crew. They picked up and delivered on time. It took them about three weeks from picking up my stuff to dropping these off. They were flexible, and that was convenient. That was nice, since I had some weird stuff that they had to move. My only critique is that I had some stuff that I knew was going to be very heavy and difficult to move, and I'm trying to remember if I asked them specifically to bring a lift gate, and if they definitely said that they would but didn't, and instead used a ramp.

I watched them load everything up to the last minute but whoever unloaded it from that truck and loaded it on to the next truck just literally threw them there.
I had some stuff that was damaged. I'm okay with minor damage as I have moved before but one of the legs on my sofa was completely shattered. There were stains on the back and it looked like somebody dragged it. I sent them pictures and emails but got nothing. They didn't even acknowledge it. My Nissan Maxima was a bit lower so there were lots of hardships to get it on the trailer in the sense that it was touching the trailer's bottom. We relocated to Jupiter, FL from Buck County, PA. We hired International Van Lines to help us with our move. From beginning to end the move was a nightmare. We experienced little to no communication regarding pick-up and delivery, a complete disregard for the manner in which our furniture and belongings were packed and transported, damaged and missing furniture and most heartbreaking the loss of over 100 years of family pictures due to gross negligence and lack of organization.
On our scheduled pick up day, they did not show up until after 3:30 pm. The crew consisted of two guys and 2 U-Haul trucks. One truck was already filled with someone else's belongings. Halfway through the move, the crew ran out of packing supplies and moving blankets. We had over 7 pieces of furniture transported unwrapped. The crew assured my husband that when we saw the pieces delivered they would be wrapped. At 2 am (YES, that's 2 O'CLOCK IN THE MORNING!!!) when the truck was finally packed, the crew informed my husband that it was going to be additional $1828.54 for their services. When asked why, they said "you had more stuff than on the estimate." Looks like 10 extra boxes and one car seat equals $1828.54. (I have asked for an itemized bill but have still not received it.)
Moving on to delivery day. They were scheduled to come between 8 am and noon. At 10:30 am we still had not received a call regarding their ETA so I call them. One of the guys on the crew called back and asked "Is it okay if we come tomorrow? It's raining here." When they arrived the next day, the crew was making comments that whoever packed our things did a terrible job and that several items were unwrapped. One by one we watched as our damaged belongings were being wheeled into the house. Broken, chipped and scratched furniture everywhere. We are missing a dining room chair and the legs to our kitchen table. We had wine glasses packed under pots and pans and my favorite A MIRROR PACKED UNWRAPPED IN A BOX WITH 4 DUMBBELLS!!!
When I contacted International Van Lines to file a complaint, a gentleman called me back asking me to email him with the details and he would see what he could do. He said that he saw that we had insurance so that was good. He also asked that I not post anything on social media until he could process my complaint. When I followed up with him over a week later, he asked me to please be patient because he deals with 100s of customers a month.
Two days later he replied "After reviewing everything with my team, we can offer you $500, if you are willing to sign a nondisclosure agreement." There was no mention of what they were going to do to find our missing items or the itemized receipt that I requested. That my friends, must be why I did not find many negative reviews for International Van Lines when I did my research. I did not respond to their $500 offer in hopes that I can help someone in the future when they are researching their upcoming move.

Those boxes were unloaded and stacked every which way without regard to the fragile contents.
I sent a complaint re: IVL to the Better Business Bureau the above and other things. IVL's representative's last response to me was that because I sent in a BBB complaint it would cost IVL more than $2500 (why that much I have no idea) to deal with BBB; and because of that, they would maybe only settle with me for a couple of hundred dollars at most. This sounded like a line of crap and I should have hung up then. However, I went through all my furnishings and was given a quote of $3800. When they came to move they changed the price to $7200. They brought too small a truck to take everything so I had to move some stuff myself with several trailer loads. They broke an end table and an elliptical.
The men who did the moving were personable and hardworking but the fact that they brought too small a truck and charged nearly twice the amount but still did not take everything on my quote is outrageous. Unfortunately when you have to move your stuff you are at the mercy of unscrupulous movers. I would never use this company again and would encourage those considering it to be wary. I do not know how they have good reviews. Nonetheless, when you have a $1500 deposit invested and no time to find another mover you are prime for gouging. The price gouging and failure to move all my stuff is absolutely unacceptable. Addendum; when I went to the initial email to add the initial quote the link on their site no longer works - how convenient to remove evidence of the disparity between their quote and actual price.

This has been my worse experience ever. If I had the option of 0 stars or negative, that would have been my choice for rating. I was moving from Washington to Florida to start a new job the first Monday of June. Where can I start with this company. When my things were picked up, they said that my things occupied more space than it was estimated and my charges went up to $2,000 more. In that moment, I did not know what to do, as the company with whom I made the arrangements was already closed, and I needed my things to be delivered around a certain time. Almost crying, I had to sign, as I thought I had no other choice in that moment, or I was not going to have my things delivered on time.
Three days later, the driver calls me and tell me that I needed to have my things delivered that same week or the next, because if not, I would have had to wait until the end of June, when he first agreed to have my things delivered by June 2nd when he picked them up. In our desperation, my husband fly there, missed a day of work, rent a car and drive to a storage we rent, so that we could be sure our things would be there for the time we will move and I start to work.
The day my husband went to have the things put in the storage we rented, the driver agreed to meet my husband by 9:00 am. Then he called and told him 11:00am, then again 2:30-3:00pm, and since there were no news from the drivers, my husband called and he told him 5:30pm. Finally the driver got there at 6:00pm. At that moment, he tried to sell the blankets he used to cover my furniture to my husband and got upset when my husband said no.
On that same day, when my husband waited all day for the driver to show up, I called International Van Lines and explained everything that was happening, including the extra charges. I was told that the documents were going to be requested from the movers, and that I should receive a call on Friday or Saturday to go over the charges that in my opinion were horribly high. For my surprise, I did not receive the call, and when I called this morning, they told me basically the same I was told last week. At this moment, I was more than tired of all this and decided to cancel even the car I had to be shipped through this company.

DO NOT TRUST ON POSITIVE REVIEW FOR THIS BUSINESS. This is one of the most DISHONEST and UNCARING company I have ever dealt with. I'm shocked that such business practice exists and is legal. After they charged me my money they basically did not answer my phone (no matter how many times I called) or reply to my email at all. Believe me, they are prompt and courteous until they get your money. Do not fall for the trick and the ratings they have. It is all a SCAM.
I talked to Mike ** about my move. He estimated $2025 for my move based on approx weight including the complete packing/unpacking service. Upon confirming multiple times, he said IVL had their own trucks that would come to pick up and the estimate was based on weight. However, they had contracted the move to Air1 Moving & Storage. The day of move, I have three movers from Air1 come to move and two of them does not speak english. They also said they did not care what IVL had contracted with me and would charge me by volume. So, they randomly predicted the volume of my move and said I was more than 100 cubic ft over than what was estimated.
The movers did not look and work like professional movers at all. So they charged me $550 extra for the move. So they made me pay the remaining half of the total and said that I would have to pay $900 remaining when my stuff arrives. 5 days from when they picked up my stuff they still haven't moved it from my warehouse. IVL would not answer my phone or reply to email. I had to call Air 1 Moving to get the status.
Now the delivery itself was also contracted by Air 1 Moving to a different company called Moving Experts, Inc. So, 10 days after the move, they call me - tells me my remaining total is $950 and is not $900. Either pay the $50 more or they would not deliver my stuff. I had to agree to their THUG request since I was already sleeping on floor. Now, the day of delivery this Moving Expert Truck driver picked up two non english speaking Mexicans from home depot or somewhere to deliver my stuff. They did not understand a word I said. The truck was packed very poorly with other people stuff over my stuff. They broke my bicycle, vacuum, crib, bed, lamps. So, they basically charged me for full packing service and sent two unknown Mexicans to deliver my stuff.
The Mexicans were afraid that the truck driver (ninja moving) would not pay them and were making sure that he does not run away. While moving my crib, they dropped it and dented it badly as well. Fragile boxes were put upside down in truck as well as in my room. My TV was put flat on the truck with some other peoples stuff on top. I had to instruct the Mexicans who did not speak english on how to assemble my furniture. They almost broke my TV when trying to assemble. I let them go and assembled on my own. I had to stay outside with the truck driver to tell what stuff was mine and what was not.
Oh man... I'm boiling up even when I think about it now. They also did not assemble my crib back and lost all the screws for it. So, my child is right now sleeping with me on my bed. The truck driver again charged me $75 extra saying that it was a long carry when he had not even brought professional movers. The whole time, these contractors threatened me either pay more money or I would not get my stuff. I never got to speak with IVL because they would not respond to my email or return my calls. I still have not heard anything from them. Do not believe in the ratings they have or anything they say.

I chose International Van Lines because when I looked up a lot of different companies and checked Better Business Bureau, there were only about two or three that looked decent and International Van Lines was one of them. I didn't know it but I was later told that International Van Lines farms out its business and this time, they farmed it out to the wrong company. The boxes that were packed and some of my things in the boxes are somewhat smashed. I hadn't opened a lot of them but they're damaged. The legs of one nice little new table that I bought are askew so I can't get the bottom shelf in straight. I also have a new chair which my daughter bought while she was in Florida and it's pretty much wrecked beyond being beautiful and marvelous. It was a $2,000 chair.
We're going to do a negotiation because I didn't take out an insurance. I'm leaving for Florida tomorrow to visit my stepson and family for Christmas, and he is a pit bull lawyer in Miami. I'm going to talk to him about what value I should ask for. I didn't buy the insurance because I trusted International. But the absolute negligence that's obvious in my shipment will stand me in good stead. If anyone chooses International, they should carefully check out the company that they are going to shell off to.
I'm very sorry to hear about the damaged chair. It's never an intention when something gets damaged during a move. Unfortunately in the moving industry damage does happen sometimes, even with the best of them. We respect the fact that you want to give us one star because of your damaged chair, but we do feel that's a bit unfair, especially since you did not notify us of this even until today. We will gladly speak to you about the issue to see about a resolution.

International Van Lines had 5-star rating on the website that I checked. When I called, the young man who sold me the service did a good job at selling. He was very accommodating and quick to continue to move the process forward. What I did not like was the crew who moved me was not the crew who unloaded me so they had no idea. The man who picked up the load was not the man who delivered the load. My truck was unlocked when I got there and my understanding when they locked the truck after loading it was that is was not going to be opened again until it got to my door. That obviously wasn't true but nothing was missing that I have found.
As far as the crew who loaded it, they were a very good crew as far as being personable and I felt comfortable with them. However, they did a very poor job of wrapping and packing. Things were not labeled well. It was supposed to be a two-day move that wound up being a three-day move because they were devoted to another job in the middle day. They came on Monday, then on Tuesday they got another job. Wednesday they came back and finished my job so I was annoyed. The crew that moved me in was even worse. I had to call them back and threatened not to pay before they would send someone back to finish the job so I was very unhappy.

The professional sales approach of Mike was more realistic than other companies out there and that's what turned me on the most with International Van Lines. As far as being on time, they didn't show up as I was told they would. Granted I knew where they were coming from, there's no way they were going to show up at 6:00 or 7:00 o'clock in the morning unless they left around 3:00 or 4:00 o'clock in the morning. I'd rather be told the truth.
Second, I was charged $350 to have my 70-inch $10,000 television set crated because I don't have the box. What they did was put a makeshift paper box around it, so that's not my idea of a crate which is a wooden crate that you have to make with hammer and nails. I never got a credit back for that yet. Third, the crew in San Diego is phenomenal on the loading and the unloading. But what happened was that they didn't have a truck, so my stuff was sitting in the street at 4:00 o'clock in the dark. Josh was still looking for a truck and I have a hard time wrapping my head around that.
Then I get tire marks in my driveway. I told them not to bring the semi up my road because there's nowhere for it, but they did it anyway. I've got a nice patchwork going around in my yard, and the semi up driver did some destruction on the way out, knocking over my neighbor's planter, rolling over it, and demolishing it. There was again a lack of communication. But overall, when you're trying to do a move, it's one of the hardest things in anybody's life. The logistics of making it happen is hard. So overall, it could have gone smoother, but I'm not going to complain as long as I've got everything here. I just hope they do reach out to me and put a credit back on my account for services that I didn't get.
Thank you for your feedback and we're happy to hear that you were pleased with the overall experience. We would like to speak with you about the crate. Thank you again for using IVL and we look forward to working with you again.

I was looking for some transport system to move out my stuff from Oklahoma City to Greenville, so I got this reference from one of my friends and that's why I opted for International Van Lines. But my experience with them is not at all good and I would need to think twice if I'd go in future with this company. First of all, on the day they picked up my things, everything was looking fine with International Van Lines. They were going to give the job to a third party, which might have been Orange Van Lines. I was told that I'll get my things in one week, but I didn't get it until after two weeks. I was continuously doing follow-up and their customer service is not at all good. They were not picking up the phone. Lastly, when they picked my call then, they were not able to give the driver's number and phone number.
Then I again went back to International Van Lines, to the same agent who took my service. He tried to track that driver and then the driver said, "I'm already in Greenville," and he didn't get my number so he's going back. So then there were a lot of problems, but if the driver was in Greenville City and he was looking for me, he didn't give me a call. So after all these problems, they landed in my house and then they were telling me that they were not able to find one box for me. So they were telling me to now call back to Dallas, to the Orange Van Lines store.
Finally, they found the box and I got it, but it was a lot of problems for me. My experience is bad because the job was given to Orange Van Lines. So next time I need to think twice if I go for International Van Lines. If they are going for this kind of third party who is not at all looking for customer satisfaction, then how we can go for International Van Lines? That's my main concern.

My movers then were a third party Hispanic family from Chicago. They were nice and casual in their presentation and very sloppy in their work. They just dump things in a box, did not even bother to wrap them in plastic or bubble wrap. We marked our boxes but probably 90% of the boxes just say basement and when we opened them up, the contents are mixed. We find different things in a box, from bedroom stuff to bathroom stuff and to basement, to bedroom, etc. We've had lots broken items. They did not have a list on their truck, so therefore everything had to be physically listed. It was just horrible. I've moved all over the world and never experienced this.

Clothes that were in sealed boxed were covered with leaves and brown stains. Furniture was missing. They tried to give me a giant TV that didn't belong to me. It was a disaster. The people at the headquarters in Florida cared little about this and offered me very minimal compensation. Finally talked to someone who said furniture was in North Carolina and would be here Tuesday. No not here.
After speaking to a few more people at the company I was told my shipment would arrive on Thursday the 8th of October. In order to receive the shipment I was to get a call from the driver 24 hours before delivery. You guessed it - no call. So I'm positive my things will not arrive tomorrow. Paid International Van Lines to move our household goods from just north of New York City to San Francisco. Paid $1,300.00 upfront, which the company initially wanted in the form of a cashier's check, which should have been the red flag not to go with this business. However they allowed us to pay with a debit card, and stated that we would be allowed to pack clothing, etc, into the drawers of our furniture. Their subcontractors, the actual movers, did not allow this, prompting the purchase of more boxes and a 9-hour delay for packing up those boxes. The subcontractors then tried to overcharge us as there were now more boxes for them to load and transport.
We refused to pay them more than the $1,700.00 in cash that was agreed upon with International Van Lines (IVL), and did not sign any paperwork stating we owed them more money. This started a series of unfortunate events that the actual movers, Arcena, and IVL were unnecessarily unhelpful and unprofessional in responding to our requests. The moving company, Arcena, proceeded to harass our family with texts and phone calls, stating that they would not ship our goods until we paid the "overage" charges. When we attempted on several occasions to contact IVL and have them resolve the issue, we were passed on from one customer service representative to another, first promised that the overages would be removed and that they would verify the location of our goods and the delivery date.
As I write this, it is September 20th, and our goods were picked up on August 7th. The estimated delivery was 7-21 business days, and we have been given 3 separate delivery dates which have not occurred. IVL did not start to take us seriously until we started posting poor reviews on Google and Yelp, after which they responded with a mix of threats of lawsuits and "compensation" in the form of free insurance and a potential discount if we removed our poor reviews and signed a document barring us from writing further negative reviews of their company. IVL is also associated with Ocean Star International, with similar moving experiences reviewed by other customers. As a customer with a family who has had to aggressively call, email, and text both IVL and Arcena, I have been met with discourteous and unprofessional behavior from everyone involved with these companies.
I have tried being reasonable, understanding and open to these individuals, and have been met with false or no updates, and contradicting information from IVL and Arcena. I have resorted to filing a complaint with the BBB and my wife has submitted a claim with Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration for locating our goods and taking action against these two companies. We are also in the process of filing a civil suit against both companies for the duress and time this entire ordeal has caused our family. I highly discourage anyone who cares about their goods from using this company, as there seems to be a history of using subcontractors who drive up the actual price of the move and demand cash payment prior to shipment, which is then delayed.
There also seems to be an unusually high number of 5-star reviews on Yelp for IVL, which sporadically appear and with reviewers that seem to leave other 5 star reviews for other moving companies. While this could be entirely coincidental, the timing and enthusiasm of the reviewers deserves some investigation. Again, this company cares more about their reviews than they do about customer service and actually doing the job they are paid to do.

I was very pleased with the service I received from International Van Lines. I recently moved to Miami from Jacksonville. I had a little more stuff than I felt like I could move myself, so I looked online and found IVL. I found them to be very professional and careful. I've had items broken in previous moves, so I was especially concerned with the handling of some antiques that we own. As I pointed out the items of most concern, the movers took note, and really handled them well. I would definitely recommend International Van Lines.

When I got my dream job in NY, I was completely ecstatic about it because this was the leap I had been looking for right from the start of my career. But it brought worries too as I was apprehensive about moving to a new city with my family, my wife, and two young children. Shifting a three-bedroom home thousands of miles away is not a joke after all. But my wife took charge and found IVL on the net. The positive reviews of its services enticed my wife and soon we realized that we had made the right decision. Even if we had to pay a bit more than with other moving companies, the quality of services made everything worth it. IVL is a reputed service for local, as well as outstation moves, and they have proved the same with their excellent services. It could not have been easier for me as these guys completed the work a lot faster than I had expected. Moving from one city to another is the toughest part of my job, but it is something I need to do periodically. The fact that I am single has both pros and cons. Though I don’t have much stuff to carry along, the job has to be done single-handedly and is quite a big hassle. Since I was to move at a short notice this time, I decided to hire a moving company to help me out. I needed someone prompt, reliable and affordable as time was short and my budget was tight. So I searched Google and landed at IVL and this proved to be the smartest decision I have ever made. We used International Van Line to move our stuff from MD to CA. My experience was awful with this company. I don't know how they got good review from this website. Before getting my deposit, they are great. Then they are simply terrible every step after that.
1) Pick-up: We were told that they would come on Aug 1st afternoon between 3:00-6:00 pm but they did not show up until 10:00 pm!!! That's fine. After 1 hr, after they loaded 1/3 of my stuff on my quote, they stopped and told me that the estimate of moving cost is totally wrong and my stuff is over twice of the size and asked me for another $2,200. My stuff is the same as what was quoted. I have two moving companies to come for quote and no way they are that off. They simply wanted more money. It was already 2:00 am so I agreed to pay for additional $850 for them finish the job. (I have a 15 months old baby home to take care and I just couldn't waste more time with them.)
2) Loading: On Aug 3rd, I told them I know my address and I hope they can ship my stuff ASAP and was told the stuff will be delivered within 21 business days. They never reached me when to deliver. I have to call and to email to ask. On Aug 13, I checked with them again when they are going to ship my stuff and was told that they were going to load my stuff that week. On Aug 20th, I emailed and called again and until late Aug 21st afternoon, I was told that my stuff is not even loaded yet and won't' be loaded until late next week. So even as they promised to load my stuff next week, I won't be able to get my stuff until Sept 4th or even later. So the up to 21 business days delivery was totally a joke. For a family with a small baby and two senior adults, that's just terrible.
3) Blame: When I called them today to ask where my stuff is, I got blame that I did not give me the exact address so they cannot dispatch my things. WTF! I told them I have the address on Aug 3rd and asked them to ship as soon as possible and never was told that I need an exact address so that they can load the stuff. I emailed and called multiple. They simply told me that they knew it and would ship ASAP. This is not the end of story yet. Let's see how much more suffering they are putting on their customers!

I am actually unable to do business with this company as they keep neglecting to call me when they say they will. My wife is STILL waiting for them to get back to her after she made her initial inquiry about an international move. That was two weeks ago. We need to be set up at our new place no later than a month and a half from now and IVL has wasted two weeks of our very limited time with their unprofessional behavior.
A week after my wife called IVL, I decided to get in touch with them to see if I would have better luck. I was told an agent would contact me "shortly". He never called. Days later, I contacted them again, reminding them of this and they apologized, telling me once again that the agent would call me "shortly." I pressed for a definite amount of time so I would not be waiting around all day for a call that would not come. They said "a few minutes". It was nearly an hour later while I was searching for another moving company that I was called. The agent, **, said that he would email me "within 24 hours, definitely" with the information I needed to arrange a quote, insurance, and inventory. I'm still waiting for that email. I called them again, two days later, asking where that email is and I was told by ** that he would pass me to their international department as he only does American and Canadian moves.
What part of Quebec to Finland did you not understand? It's certainly not domestic; there's kind of an ocean in the way. ** in the international department who is supposed to be "working on" my move was not at his desk and I left a message with him urging him politely to please call me back as I've been having difficulties with communicating with IVL and it's causing me a good deal of stress. I have yet to receive a call. I have far too much to get done before picking up my life and starting again on the other side of the Atlantic to be constantly badgering people to do their jobs properly. I can totally excuse people for being busy, or I'll, or on holiday, or making some manner of clerical error but at least communicate this issue to me so I'm not left wondering if you've forgotten about me.

International Van Lines handled my family's long distance move from Utah to MO. Like other reviewers I hired IVL based on their level of professionalism and simple because they didn't seem to play games like other moving companies we spoke with. IVL provided us with a binding estimate and everything they promised was in fact true. The cost went up by $150, but I was okay with that. All in all they did a great job and get 5 stars from us.
Thank you for taking the time to post your experience. We're happy that you were satisfied with our services. We wish you the best of luck with your new venture.

I initially gave these guys a very hard time because I was scammed in the past by another moving company. IVL set up an in-home inspection and provided me with a binding rate. I was very skeptical throughout the entire process and told IVL I would leave a review after the move. They did a fantastic job and get 5 stars from me. The move went great!

They moved everything in and out in good time but they didn't cover the doors that they were coming into so it's scrub marks all on the door. They also turned on my air conditioner without my consent and I had all the windows open. All three reassembling the furniture would've been more time effective instead of just the one guy. The prices differed between the two companies. The movers said I owed $1330 even though I had already been giving my ending balance which was $1325. Since it was a $5 difference I just paid it because it was getting pretty annoying with all the back and forth about the cost.

We hired International Van Lines based on their reviews and they did a great job. They offered a free in-home inspection which other companies didn't. This was one of the main reasons I chose them. IVL showed up in an 18 wheeler and proceeded to pack our 5 bedroom home. The movers were polite and very professional. We rec'd everything in time and with zero damage, so were very pleased with their service and would highly recommend them.

International Van Lines is the real deal. They were to the point and in no way did I feel like I was being pushed to make a decision when I chose them. The move went very well and I would use them again. Their quote was a bit higher than others, but worth it.

IVL handled my long-distance move from San Francisco to NY and did a very good job. We had the contents of our 5 bedroom home picked up, packed and delivered by IVL. They were the only moving company that offered a free in-home survey which is one of the main reason we decided to go with them. They gave us a binding rate which in the end came out to be very accurate. My goods were delivered within 10 days with no damages. The movers were very professional and we would use them again if needed.

I did not end up choosing IVL but only because the price had gone up in the time I was able to make a reservation. ** was very helpful throughout the process and gave me advice for making my move go well. I appreciated the assistance even though we couldn't use the service!

I got offered a new position with my company and they transferred me to a new location in Los Angeles. The company I work for has a contract with IVL, so they were chosen to handle my move. The move went well from start to finish and IVL provided great customer service the whole way through. My main point of contact was ** who was very throughout and straightforward. My move cost did go up by $150, but I didn't mind. Upon delivery I rec'd a call the day before and the day of from the driver. They offloaded everything in a timely manner with no damages besides a minor scratch on my night stand. To sum it up IVL did a very good job and I would use them again if I had to move.

I contracted International Van Lines to handle my move from NY to FL. IVL started off by sending a local rep for an in home survey. The estimator was very professional and did a great job determining exactly what we needed, in terms of volume, packing etc. Our move consisted of a 5 bedroom home. We had IVL do all the packing and provide us with full coverage insurance. The pick up and delivery was a very smooth process and the guys were very professional the whole way through. We were very please with the service and would recommend them. Good job!
Thank you for taking the time to leave us feedback. We greatly appreciate it.

I wanted to take a moment and write a review about International Van Lines. When I first started searching for moving companies I was very nervous, especially since I read so many horror stories on the internet about moving companies. I chose IVL because they were the only ones who offered a visual survey and their customer service was really good in the initial stages.
IVL was a bit more expensive than other companies I was speaking to, but I didn't mind since I was looking for quality. The movers from IVL were on time and handled partial packing on the day of pick up. The delivery date was accurate and the off-loading at destination went smooth. I'm very happy with my choice to pick IVL and I would use them again for my next move.
We understand that you took time out of your day to post this review and we greatly appreciate the feedback. Thank you
