Can someone out there give me a phone number for Hoover besides the 2 numbers that are on Google. And when you call no Matter what time it says we are Closed!! My Hoover Elite is new-ish and falling apart. This is despicable. How they have it RIGGED UP so no one can call them, scumbags aren't they!
I bought a Hoover Windtunnel in 2021 at Kohl's. I used it only a few times since it is too bulky. In Sept 2022 there was suction only from the hose, not the floor plate. Cust Serv said I did not have the cord extended far enough, or maybe too far. "That model was temperamental." In Oct. I called again with the same problem. When I said the brushes were not spinning, they said I must need a new belt and they would send me one. It never arrived, although they did send an email showing it was sent. In Nov. I called again. This time I received the belt that they sent out. I replaced the belt and the vacuum seemed to work for a short test run.
In Dec. I tried again. After just a few minutes, the belt started smoking and melted. Because I did not have the original receipt, they could only offer me a one-time courtesy 20% discount towards a new machine. Why would I waste my money when their Customer Service is so bad? Note: There are 2 different 800-numbers to call Customer Service. Each one says the office is closed and to call back between 8-5, even though I am calling at 3 pm.
Bought steam cleaner for 5x7 rug. Cleaned it once as I was away for 7 months. When I used it again it was dead. It was only 8 months old. Called customer service and a rude woman told me to take it to a repair shop and pay for it.
I bought Hoover Vacuum cleaner Model 9001PH about a year ago! It continuously blocks and it’s almost impossible to unblock it due to the design! I have taken the vacuum to the shop in Ellenbrook a few times to help me unblock it! It has been sent out to the factory to recheck but no solution! I cannot rely on it at all, the suction is much less than when we first bought it! We spent almost $1000 on a piece of rubbish!
I've had my Hoover carpet cleaner for 10 months and have a 2 year warranty on it. The belt broke and bristles are all messed up. I contacted Walmart and All State about getting a replacement and they said to contact Hoover. So I left a message to Hoover, called 3 different times and waited for a contact back. Hoover did call back but when I answered the line would just drop. They emailed me back and I answered with what was wrong with the machine asking for help getting a replacement. It's been about a week and they still have yet to answer anything I've sent them or call back and actually speak to me. I personally do not recommend and I will not be purchasing any other Hoover products from here on out. Worst customer support ever...
It wasn't easy to contact customer service and get their response. However, after I contacted customer service I got new replacement delivered in 5 calendar days.
I wrote two times in interval days customer service explaining that my vac. cleaner bought just 9 months ago, used just for home not working. Last Friday I contacted them over the phone (working hours 9am-3 pm). Customer rep got my reference ID number, told me to wait couple seconds to look for that and after 35 min on hold dropped the line with no explanation.
I purchase this Hoover Maxlife Total Home Pet. I purchased August 2021. One thing DO NOT LIKE IS THE POWER CORD. Seems Cheap. Doesn't coil smoothly, and I have had to repair the cord 2x's with electrical tape. I wish the hose was longer. Otherwise, this machine performs well.
Ordered products from them and changed my mind. Next day I called to cancel and they said it was too late, even though a shipping label had not been created yet. I refused the shipment and it was sent back to Hoover. A week later I had to call and check on my refund. Their response 4-6 weeks to be refunded back to my card. What!?!! Why?!?!
We purchased a brand new Hoover Multi Floor Carpet and Tile Cleaner machine from Amazon. The squeegee tool would not stay on the scrubber so we contacted Hoover to see if they could send us a fix/new squeegee. They emailed us back that they don't honor warranties unless purchased by authorized dealer. They offered NO other help, nor a fix solution for the machine other than sending it back to the vendor. Terrible, terrible customer service on their own equipment.
Purchased a SmartWash Hoover product six months ago. Used less than 5 times. It already isn't working properly and Hoover said it was not covered under warranty because it was used in an apartment, which is a "commercial/business" setting. This was never mentioned prior to purchase, but the customer service agent said it's in the manual, and that using another brand of soap would disqualify a warranty as well. I don't think many people read through the manual when they purchase a product assuming that manufacturers will stand behind their products for normal usage (less than 5 times seems less than normal to me). I am surprisingly disappointed because my opinion prior was that Hoover was a good brand to purchase for vacuums and vacuum products.
So, I bought my OnePwr Cordless Vacuum cleaner somewhat late of July 2020 when we moved province. It has a 2 year warranty. Middle of July 2022 vacuum cleaner broke (battery is okay because you can switch it on but when you start using it just died) so I called customer service and explain everything and asked if I can claim a warranty repair. Well they asked for a receipt which I could no longer provide. Even the store where I bought the vacuum could not provide me a copy. I can't provide a CC or Debit purchased in the statement either because they want to see the name of the vacuum in the receipt. So it was a dead end. I just wish they have something else to offer other than a discount on my next purchase of their product which is NOT GONNA HAPPEN ANYMORE.
Bought the Hoover in December of 2020 and lasted till July of 2022. Broom head is so locked up that the broom head will not come off. After research, found out the bearing inside broom head overheats and melts inside of the head. Call Hoover customer support which was no support at all, pretty much told me out of luck. Never buy Hoover products again!!!!
The text messages start as early as 6 am and I'm in Washington state. I contacted Hoover and they lied and said they don't have any way to send text... it clearly says email or text at the top of their web page and I don't even have a hoover! It's annoying and I wouldn't ever buy one and they don't have permission to sell my information 3rd party.
Power head on his vacuum is safety problem. Never turns off even in upright positions. Throws dirt straight up in air when using wand and eats its own cord if you're not paying attention to vacuum when using wand. Used three times. Is garbage now. What a waste of money. No help from customer service.
You'd expect a vacuum to suck, well that's what it does...SUCK!! Doesn't pick up the smallest of crumbs. Worst product I've ever purchased! Do not buy! Hoover cordless or any Hoover brand! Also, the brush works only when it wants to...
After trying different vacuum cleaners over 20 years, I finally got a Hoover Vacuum cleaner- Swivel steering type for about $100 on sale at a local Ace Hardware store 3 years ago. I am amazed how good it is. It has provide the best service without any breakdown. I commend this fine product.
Tried to get a replacement for a steam cleaner that was missing the hose and accessories. The box had been damaged in shipping and the parts were missing. They tell me that they're going to send me the missing parts. They do not ship. I messaged them to find out why. They tell me then to cut the cord off the brand new machine. And send them a picture of the cord and they will send me a new machine. Definitely not a green company. Definitely cheap as hell. Will not buy from again
I reached out to Hoover 3 months again to inquire about warranty/repair of my carpet cleaner via email, and never gotten a response. Since then, I have reached out 3 more times, trying to get a live person, also with online chat, and again resorting to another email, and haven’t gotten a person yet.
Hoover Powerdash Pet 2x more cleaning power. HOOVER POWERDASH PET. Item 1 the first time I used it was March 2021 and it was not too bad. The second time I tried to use it was July 2021, it water spewing everywhere and what looks like wet dryer lint getting shot everywhere. If you do not notice this lint stuff you scrub it into your carpet which is incredibly hard to get it back out. Contacted Hoover, they made me go through all these hoops to get a replacement.
Mind you this product I only had 4 months. After Hoover made me jump through all these hoops I finally got a replacement the end of July 2021. When I used this the first time it worked okay. 7 months later I went to use it again and it started again wet lint started shooting everywhere. I contacted Hoover again. I said I wanted my money back. I was told that they would go up higher in the chain to see if they would consider giving me a refund. I never got a call me back. I never got a call instead this Carpet Washer showed up at my door. Needless to say I contacted Hoover and I was told I would have to jump through all these hoops again and that they would never refund my money. I was also told that my warranty was up in March 2022 and after that I would be S.O.L. (S out of luck).
Bottom line this product is the worst ever. Wherever you purchase it you only have 90 days to return and Hoover will only keep sending you the same product and you will never get a refund, and their so call Warranty is pointless. I paid almost $110.00. I thought the first one was just defective but, the second one did the same thing. The third one I did not even open it. I went on Hoover website and read the reviews apparently they know this is a bad product yet keeps selling it. The reviews were just like mine same complaints.
Hoover roller broke after only a few months old, replaced with a genuine part. It carried on popping out, contacted customer service numerous times NO REPLY, I can't even get a refund, the hoover loses suction quickly.
Bought a Maxlife and from the moment I opened it I knew I had gotten the wrong product. The power cord was too stiff, controls don't make sense, the attachments were pretty useless., and the hoses seem to be too small. Now the brush will not suck stuff off a rug despite the high suction. Go to Hoover website and they do not have a customer service on phone nor chat box. They farm it out to another company with no technicians and they say take it to get repaired. Yeah, I am going to take a crummy $170 vacuum to a repair shop and spend > $100. Of course, one cannot write a review on the site. Bad company, very bad customer support and uber bad product. AVOID Hoover.
I bought a chargeable, upright vacuum cleaner a few months back. At first I thought it was great and a nice quick convenience for staying on top of dog hair. Do not buy this if you have pets!! It is terrible!! I literally have to clean out the whole thing every 15 minutes or so due to it getting jammed up. There is not even enough suction to pull it up into the canister. As for dirt, it just seems to throw it in a different direction. I am very disappointed in this product as I have bought quite a few Hoovers in the past and have been satisfied. Don't waste your money!!
18 mos. after purchase the spray nozzle plugged up. I tried to soak it, blow it out with air compressure, could not get to the opening with fine wire because of the defuser. Called Hoover, went through interrogation with the rep., was told to supply a receipt, did that, then the warranty dept emailed me and said for me to cut off the wire to the battery charger, pull off the model decal, sent a picture of all this and they will send me a new one. All I need is a new brush cover with the spray nozzle, sent them back an email, then was told they have no replacement part as such and have to send a whole new one, I explained I do not have to ability to take pictures and email them.
Seems to me it would be more convenient to just send a part, save extra shipping, a win win situation. I have bought many Hoover vacs, but no more. A very confused way to satisfy a customer, jump through the hoops, play the game, do as you are told, and we will help.... Sounds like the progressive party has taken over Hoover... Too bad.... No more business from me.
Do not buy. I used it on my kitchen floor that we just replaced and it left burn marks in my floor which is vinyl. Now I am not sure what to do when I just spent over $3,000 in flooring for this machine to do this. It says it was made for all flooring. Very unhappy.
I have been trying to get a replacement part for more than a year on a carpet cleaner I bought brand new. What they did was give me the run around until the warranty expired and now I have to buy a new carpet cleaner cause the part's almost just as much as a new carpet cleaner. I will never buy Hoover again. Not only does their customer service sucks but the carpet cleaner was trash too. The plastic front piece started coming off after a couple months and still can't get Hoover to sent me a new one.
This product is garbage! This is now the 5th time using this vacuum. It barely picks anything up unless you go over the same spot multiple times. And no, it's not plugged up as I checked that while I was changing the belt. And it does not move easily. I'm sorry, but I shouldn't feel like I just worked out for the last 2 hours just from trying to vacuum a living room floor! I can't understand how you have been around for 100 years with such crappy customer service and garbage product. I will never even consider spending another penny on your useless equipment! I contacted support. I sent an attached receipt and filled out all the info needed and never heard anything back. Your customer service is nonexistent. I literally bought this in August of 2021. By September it was just about junk. November and still have not heard anything. Buy anything but this brand! I wish I had, but my preferred brand was not in stock!
As a professional in the manufacturing and customer service industry, I understand the demands and challenges of the current staffing/supply chain. This, however, is not the existing problem with Hoover. Several months ago, I have placed an online order for a replacement reservoir for the floor scrubber I own. After a few weeks, I received an automated email advising they were experiencing delays in the warehouse, so I patiently waited a few more weeks understanding the current staffing and supply chain issues.
After about 2 months I emailed the customer service asking about my part, since they took the payment immediately (typically companies don't actually charge your card until they ship). I was told via email on 9/29/2021 that my order is shipping on 9/30/2021 (the next day). I didn't receive my part so I called the customer service number on October 8 to follow up on my shipment and she told me that my order is going to ship on October 11 and that I can call back for the Fed Ex tracking number.
On October 14 I called back as suggested and spoke with rep, Danielle, (coincidentally the same rep as in the original email who told me it shipped on 9/30) and she told me that my part is "shipping on the next day" again, October 15. So at this point I realized that's their standard deflection statement and asked to speak with the supervisor.
The "supervisor" came on the phone (and I seriously doubt by her unprofessional tone that she actually was a supervisor, rather just pass the phone to someone else game). I asked her to call the warehouse and confirm the shipment as I needed this item by Saturday, October 16 and I ordered it several months ago.. More than enough time to receive by my required date. She told me that they DO NOT have the ability to call the warehouse. She told me that "they, just like everyone else, is back up due to supply chain." I advised her that I would have believed that IF the previous customer service people hadn't already told me that the item IS in stock and at the warehouse and is just awaiting to be labeled and shipped Fed Ex.
I ship and receive FED EX every single day. Fed ex is not part of the supply chain back up of imports. The warehouse is in Tennessee and I live in Illinois. It's a 1-day ground shipment. I further told her that it's deplorable that they would LIE to their customers and give them fake excuses that "it's shipping tomorrow". I told her to credit my account and instead the "check's in the mail tomorrow". So I asked her to cancel the order and credit my account immediately. She said she would process the cancel and credit my account after receiving confirmation the order was cancelled.
I asked "what does that mean? How long will we have to wait for that confirmation... "tomorrow?" over and over again? Clearly, you can't be trusted with your timeframe." She said "I can get that today, as soon as I call the warehouse to confirm the cancellation." WAIT, WHAT? I told her "not 3 minutes ago, you just told me you did not have the ability to call the warehouse to check on my order but you have the ability to cancel it???" I told her I want to see my credit on my account immediately because she has a computer. If they could take the payment immediately from my account, they can process the return the same way. Today is October 21. I have NOT received my credit, nor confirmation of cancellation, nor the item. HOOVER REFUSES TO SHIP AND REFUSES TO CANCEL/CREDIT YOUR ACCOUNT. I cannot believe this unethical practice in the USA. This is my first review online. Next is BBB.
I got my vacuum cleaner in 2020. One special screw missing and all extension parts fell apart. I tried to use the warranty but they asked me for a receipt. I tried to find it but I couldn't. My colleague bought it for our company and then I replaced with my own one because it was big for our office. I asked him for receipt but he couldn't find it. I sent all other information but they refused to fix it under warranty. Such a shame and disappointing service!
My shampooer which is less than 2 yrs old. The wheel fell off, the motor burnt up, and the brush broke. Now you're telling me I'm out of luck, no I don't still have my receipt, I know you can look up model and serial number to see, but choose not to. For that I will not spend another dime on your products. And word of mouth travels far. Thanks for nothing.
I tried to contact Hoover for the past 1.5 years regarding ordering a brushroll for my vacuum (I purchased BH53120 in 2018, and a small part on brush roll in 2019 suddenly dropped off and I couldn't find it and fix it.) They didn't reply me some of my emails in the past few months, and the emails they replied me was about out of stock and to check the availability after 30 days. Two weeks ago I called Hoover, they told me the stock will be in soon. And I contacted them again, they told me the part is discontinued and there is no alternative brushroll I can replace. They didn't offer me any solution and told me it's out of 3-year-warranty, and suggested me to buy a new unit with their discount code.
I have been contacting them for more than one year, and I have all the email records. They don't even try to help me and find the solution. All they do is to ask you to wait, and buy a new one in the end. I highly suggest not to purchase their products as you never know when they will discontinue a spare part you need, even though it's a 3-year-old product.
