Was extremely easy to find Professionals in my area. Saved a lot of time trying to find one on my own. Got three calls and picked the second. Eco Clean quoted a fair price and did the job when they said they would. Was completed in about an hour. Very impressed.

They found a wonderful company to assist us. They installed two vertical blinds in our stairwell. We have ceiling of the top floor to floor of the bottom floor, windows, so was a difficult job. They also installed a new chandelier in the stairwell as well. I am thankful to HomeAdvisor for finding them for us.

This service helps me a lot because I have run into a couple of so called trades people and it is hit and miss many times. Sometimes, I will run into a trades person that is superb and other times, I will run into one that is a nightmare to work with.

Just filled in the info and within 3 minutes I had a qualified AC company come out. Not bad for the Labor Day Weekend. They came out on late Saturday afternoon and installed a complete AC system on Sunday morning. I only had to sweat for two days.

I found this to be a good way to find a contractor. Inputting your number and having a few contractors call you or have you be able to call them allowed me to find someone in less than a week. The reviews were very helpful to help me select a contractor.

Water heater installed - Good price, quick and great service, knowledgeable, professional services for a project that was ongoing for 2 weeks, with the wife and I have to take cold showers. The city I live inside of requires a permit, which others before JV Could not or did not want to go and get. This company got right on it and took care of immediately.

The company was replacing 90 feet of fence that blew down in a storm. They laid the old fence pieces flat in our driveway and when my wife backed out on her way to work she hit the edge of a section of fence. It caused about $2000.00 worth of damage and the insurance for Paradise landscape said it was totally her fault. We have a brick column and brick wall on the sides of the drive & it very difficult to go straight down the drive. She didn't see the wood when she was on top of the pile. But it wasn't her fault.

I called at least 2 times to complain about the 1st Contractor sent to me, and how he ripped me $300. Trying to contact Home Advisor is a total waste of time. No Response to my Complaint! Don't expect any Customer Respect or efficiency of responses. I would not recommend them to anyone.

New sprinkler installation in existing sod. Contractor was prompt, workers knew what they were doing, installation of system was exceptional and, although slightly higher cost, our system makes the minimal systems of all our neighbors look like they used amateurs to design their sprinklers. We would recommend this contractor without any reservations.

Repairing central air conditioner: Our technician Rudy was very professional. He responded within minutes after my email. It was 9:00 PM, we didn't think we would be able to get anyone at that time or during the heat wave. He was promptly at our house within 40 minutes. I will definitely use Rudy and Home Advisor again.

Several contractors call/email me within hours (sometimes minutes) of using Home Advisor. They have all been polite, professional and on time. Their estimators were knowledgeable and good representatives of their companies. All the estimates were on time and reasonable. I have been satisfied with the tradesmen that I have hired.

A raccoon got trapped in my garage and tore up the garage door seal. I looked on the internet and could not find a simple solution. Shawn from Garage Works came out and had an economically solution for my door. Work was done professionally and at a good price. I highly recommend Garage Works for all of your garage door problems.

D and L did two different projects. Each of which involved ceiling drywall repair work. Each cost $300.00. The first project took 2 hours to patch up a small hole caused by moisture. The roof had already been repaired. The second took about 8 hours redoing a ceiling drywall project.

I have used HomeAdvisor for several projects. The contractors listed which I have chosen I have been satisfied with. Earlier before using HomeAdvisor I would ask friends and just take a chance. Generally my friends' advice was pretty good but contractor by chance did not turn out so well. I will use HomeAdvisor again.

The recommendations made for my driveway repair project were excellent. The category selections are rather broad in a search for a specific project to be completed but do generally provide a useful recommendation. The follow-up communication was very good. The reviews from other customers were very helpful.

Very pleased with the work done by two professional gentlemen that showed us how to use the dehumidifier feature on our system and for checking our system after the storm.They confirmed that it was okay to run the system and everything should be fine. We are running the system with no problems and they said should we have any to give them a call and they will come back. That is service!

Used HomeAdvisor to do research on the process of power washing of our home (i.e. power vs pressure, cost). Looked and compared companies that work in our area. Company we chose contacted us immediately, came out to give estimate and did the work the same day. Work was completed and the house looks nice and clean.

After I contacted 2 plumbing companies on my own, only to find out they were booked out 2 weeks or more, I went to the HomeAdvisor website to look for a plumber who could repair what we needed to have completed by the end of the week. Within less than 5 minutes, I received a phone call from a company and I explained our situation. The plumber came out the very next day, evaluated the what needed to be done, provided a bid and had the problem fixed in under 2 hours. We are moving to a new house - I will not hesitate to go through HomeAdvisor for more of their service recommendations!!

We hired Abigail Clean Roof and we are 100% satisfied. We got a quote from Ron's Carpentry and the price is a bit too steep. We have a third project to install new electrical outlets. These guys were prompt, courteous, knowledgeable and very fair on repair price... They quickly located the source of a 1st floor bedroom ceiling leak and repaired the cause of the leak in my second floor bathtub. I would highly recommend these Plumbers.

I like getting three quotes and how the companies contact me instead of the other way around. Plus its ease of mind knowing that the companies are already pre-screened and licensed by state. One thing I don't like is that you can’t see the reviews for the companies that you didn't get matched with. It makes it harder to tell which companies are really the good ones versus bad ones versus which ones just have few or no reviews because the system does not let it show.

HomeAdvisor is a great free service that offers top rated companies to help with projects and repairs in your areas. Companies are rated by current customers so other users have an understanding of why they used that particular company. I will continue to use HomeAdvisor. This is much better than paying for a list and reviews from other competitors.

I have now used HomeAdvisor for three (3) different services. Now I find out that one of the services located on the HomeAdvisor website was not eligible because it was a service not matched to me by Home Advisor. The service in question, M&M Tree Service, was located on the Home Advisor website as a listed service. The circumstances dictated that I get a number of trees removed due to storm damage. They were leaning dangerously and needed to be removed ASAP. The two companies that you matched to me were not available. So I went back to the Home Advisor website and located M&M Tree services, they came and did the job immediately and professionally. Now I find out that because I did not use the companies match to me that I don't qualify for the rewards.

Some roof shingles came off of my roof during the Harvey storm. I got on Home Advisor and was connected to Ashley Construction in Houston. They returned my call promptly. They serviced my roof the next day. The price was reasonable, and service was prompt. Would use them again.

Great Job. On time at the agreed price. The electrician also fixed some issues caused by an earlier contractor with regard to the (attic) fan. I would recommend Bright Idea Electric to family and friends. Todd and his worker showed up on time with the needed parts and completed the job.

You will not be disappointed with this company. Moses was so very professional and was able to troubleshoot the problem with my (Samsung) fridge in less than an hour. His rates are super reasonable. Jose and crew came out on the day of the second landfall of hurricane Harvey when many roads were impassable. These guys resealed all of my roof vents including the leaking ones in about two hours. They did a great job and let me inspect their work. Excellent!

Finding a contractor was quick. I think HomeAdvisor is much better than Angie's List, and it's free. My ugly popcorn style ceiling were replaced with a Spanish drag style ceilings. My ceilings now are phenomenal. The contractors left the rooms pretty clean, when they were done with their work. No surprises, no hidden or additional cost.

Home Renovation - Hired a contractor in April of 2017. He was responsive and capable so far as his contract efforts were concerned. It was necessary for us to keep careful records of funds paid out, but overall the experience was positive. If the situation warranted it we would hire the same individual again.

Carpet Cleaning Service request - Had an immediate response from the vendor. However, he did not have me on his schedule. (He had a phone referral by you.) You need a better tutorial for your new vendors. He was concerned about missing customers referred by you as he did not have a record of my scheduled appointment in the future that I set up through HomeAdvisor.

Cabinet Restoration - We have solid cherry wood cabinets that needed restoration. Did not want to replace or put on new fronts. Pietro has made our cabinets look better than new! Cannot find solid cherry cabinets today unless you spend thousands of dollars on custom cabinets. Pietro did a beautiful job and we are now so proud! Wonderful craftsman, wonderful man! You will love having him work for you!

We have three A/C units that needed maintenance. One of them had a lot of mold, so the coils and the blower were cleaned and sanitized. The two other units were clean, so they were only sanitized, and so were the ducts. UV lights were installed on all three units. We were very pleased with our experience with this company. They were timely, professional, answered questions, and did a very good job all the way around.

Numerous projects, taking a long time to get estimates back from some of the folks. Some don't call or even send the promised estimate. Others, did send estimates - one sent estimate 3,200 dollars - the other 7,000 plus - one is double. Flooring 11 thousand to 3 thousand... for same job - then one says, floor is not level and cannot place that type of material. No others mentioned this. Sigh.

Having been a member of Angie's List in the past, and never used any of the contractors on that site. I have found I have returned to HomeAdvisor several times over the past 7 years. Each time I have rated the professionals with 5 stars. Each time I paid a fair market rate, was treated with courtesy, and was more than satisfied with the services. Excellent for a free service.

When searching for house painters the results produced a narrow range of providers with a wide range of prices. All quotes were above regional average price range, but lowest one was reasonably close to high end of range. Because of that I didn't get the evaluations and job descriptions into Home Advisor and receive the complete information which I received for the stucco job.

They came out on a Saturday even though they were not officially open, to take care of an emergency. A huge branch had split from an ash tree and was ready to fall onto my garage and driveway, and another one looked like it might split and fall into the street. They removed both branches and moved the pieces out of the driveway. Will be back next week with the chipper to dispose of the debris. Would not accept payment until his return next week.

I did my first major project with a pro from HomeAdvisor and was very happy. All of the contractors I talked to were very knowledgeable, and I am happy with the one I selected. I definitely feel that I did better with HomeAdvisor than I would have searching alone.

A HomeAdvisor link popped up on homepage and I decided to use it. I gave my details, submitted and within 5 minutes I had a call from one of the two listed contractors. The other contractor called days later because he had been on an out of town job. My contractor came to my home when he said he would, reviewed options and we agreed. He wanted 50% upfront to order materials. They were on site in 3 days. Once he got started it took 2 days. It was an overall satisfying experience. The contractor stayed in contact with me by cell phone all during the job to keep me updated.

After third cut work became less satisfactory. Spoke to company on at least 2 occasions to voice concerns about timing of cutting & then lower satisfaction on quality of work. Never notified when they would come, or that price increased for coming at 3 week intervals.

I assume there is a disclaimer somewhere on the website which states that the personal information required in order to find "pros" for a job, is automatically sent to the pros you're matched with. But for the record, receiving texts, calls & emails from contractors immediately after submitting the job is extremely alarming. Contractors who have my physical address and all of my contact info as well as pictures of the inside of my home. Other similar websites DO NOT share unnecessary personal information with the pros therefore it doesn't go without saying that HomeAdvisor does. I say unnecessary because simply providing the pros with the city and neighborhood seems sufficient & it should be the person who is doing the hiring's responsibility to pass along the physical address to the contractors when &/or if they need it.

I am always hesitant using a site like this. Hiring a tradesmen to come to my home without any personal references from my network always makes me a little anxious but Szymon was fantastic. Not only will I recommend him but I certainly would give Home Advisor another shot when I have another home project come up.
