Mikes Pro Handyman hired through Home Advisor. Did not complete all jobs. Paid the bill and he said he’d send me an itemization of the charges. He was here 3/12/18. Contacted him several times via text and phone without a response. Contacted Home Advisor 2 times. They contacted him and he said he was having personal issues. They also said that’s all they could do.

The staff is very nice and very dedicated. I would recommend this service. They came on time and I needed a cleaning in a rush, they came the next day, couldn't be more happy to see my house clean. :)

SWAT Environmental was an excellent choice for Radon mitigation. The work was done professionally and on time. The quoted price was honored. The technician cleaned up any messes he made, explained the work, and explained the timing for follow-up testing.

I've used 5 contractors from HomeAdvisor. I like the instant call back from the contractors and are pleased with the quality of their work. I like this site better than Angie's List. It is more user-friendly and I will keep using HomeAdvisor for my house projects.

We have had very good luck with HomeAdvisor. We looked for a repair on Home Advisor Monday evening and scheduled a time for the next morning within 10 minutes of getting online and an estimate about 1hr later (Sears put us out one week for a repair). He was at our house right on time. Very Personable. Was nice to our dog. We were debating on just getting a new washer and dryer rather than going through the hassle and cost of repair but for a great cost, Shane basically gave us back brand new equipment.

I had called several roofing companies prior to using HomeAdvisor. When I left messages for these companies, they were usually not returned. And when I finally got a hold of one of them to schedule an estimate for my roof, they never showed up for the appointment. After using HomeAdvisor, I was able to get several estimates (quickly) and then hire a great company that did high quality work on a very reasonable timeline.

Determined there was no pressure regulator for the yard. (Very high readings at the faucets and well as leaking.) He installed an new pressure regulator where there had never been one. The yard pressure has dropped now and I'm very happy there is no longer leaking at the timers when they turn off the water.

I started working with a company based on the stellar reviews on HomeAdvisor, only to find them very unprofessional. When I wrote a negative review, I found out it wouldn’t be posted or included in their rating because I didn’t hire the company. How a company works in the starting stages of a relationship says a lot about them. To exclude unprofessionalism at the stage renders the service in many ways unreliable.

I have hired several companies off of HomeAdvisor. All of them were very honest and thorough with their work. The only exception was the Geek Squad of Best Buy. They told me they could do the project I needed done, collected the money beforehand, (that should have been my sign) and when the man got here he stood in the middle of my living room looking like a clueless lost soul and said he couldn't do it. I have asked for my money back, still have not gotten it. That's 200$! Please help! As far as HomeAdvisor, I would definitely use them again.

Mr. ** arrived at the earliest given time. He is very personable. He very efficiently replace two broken springs on two Flexsteel recliners. He double checked the workings of the fitting and cleaned and oil of the moving parts. His price was very reasonable. I would definitely recommend him for any repair service.

OUTSTANDING!!! Charles and Rod were on time. Everything in my bathroom was backed up. They worked their butts off. They didn't stop until everything was perfect. Pulled about 8 pounds of tree roots out of my sewer drain. Then snaked it a second time. Water rushed out fast. Friendly, courteous, very professional. The price was great!! I was so impressed. No heat. He replaced a part after checking the system. He came back after the heat in one radiator failed. He replaced a part in that radiator and the valve now works. Built in shower with glass encloser - HomeAdvisor could be a little more informative. But I did like the contractor I found. There were 2 that contacted me but one said it would take two weeks to get an estimate. I thought that was a bit much, The HomeAdvisor website is not that easy to use either. I tried to go back into the site to get more info on a contractor and found it was retracing my steps. Gave up.

Recommended a repairman. He did an excellent job at a fair price. He reconstructed the garage door system and used superior parts than what was originally used. I have been constantly hounded and made to believe in companies as being good. Because HomeAdvisor said so. When I was trying to get a quote I was given a list of businesses to see what prices I could find. But all along the ones I have been using we're better priced. And excelled better. I asked why don't they have them listed. Because they were not reputable according to HomeAdvisor. HomeAdvisor is a scam. They get money on bids they send to people. If you wanna pay more use HomeAdvisor. But if you want to depend on people you know and trust use local businesses that are reputable by their work.

Several painters were contacted. 2 made appointments but only one showed up. I hired him. His work was very good. There was a lot of cabinet work and trim. Everything else was well protected. The workers were very courteous. I recommend JL Painting.

My experience finding a quality power washer quickly and easily through HomeAdvisor was great! I am surprised to learn that you charge each company over $30 for each referral, whether or not it leads to a transaction. I appreciate not being charged as the customer, but companies are going to feel the need to charge us extra on the back end to cover this cost. Perhaps consider only charging companies that are able to close a deal through your referral.

Phoned Southern Pest on a Sunday afternoon. HomeAdvisor answered the phone. Rep asked reason for call as well as name, address and telephone number. Bee removal - Rep told me to stay on the phone and that she would provide me with a name and number of someone to call. She did so and we called the name provided. This was our first experience with HomeAdvisor and we were very pleased and would highly recommend to others!

I liked the company I hired through HomeAdvisor, but I do not think they made it clear enough that when you ask for a quote, your phone number is given out. I thought it was my email address that would be given to prospective companies. I did not like getting calls for wireless callers with NO ID listed, so I did not know who was calling.

Garage door would not open - we thought sprocket was the problem - the whole track was bad and needed to be replaced along with springs. Bo the technician was extremely knowledgeable and explained what was needed for the door to work properly.

Don from O'Brien Pro Irrigation found several different problems with our irrigation system. He fixed them efficiently and effectively. I recommend this company if you have an irrigation problem that you cannot fix. Don is very good at trouble-shooting and he explained the problems to me in a manner which was easy to understand.

Signed up for annual membership only $347.98, Charged additional $904.52 without authorization. Account closed due to fraud, membership closed after discovering charges within one month. Scam involves setting up a profile and turning on "leads" (leads are unqualified and not verified and you are charged regardless) you are suppose to know how the systems & apps work from day one while they are charging you behind the software where they have set up "spend targets". No transparency and when you request help "the system is down". The live helpline cannot see your account to help you understand how the scam/system works.

I couldn't be happier with what was done (gutter cleaning, power washing deck and brick on the house). I felt I could trust them right away. Very personable and helped explain each step they would do and why. I was called and verified when they would be at my home. Were on time and I am very happy that my husband didn't have to clean those gutters.

We had not trimmed the trees or the bushes for two years. The men trimmed the trees, bushes and cleaned up the backyard. The yard and the trees (see attached) look beautiful! They were true to their word and reasonably priced. The men were polite. If they had questions, they asked before continuing. I will ask them to return.

Repair of detached gutter was performed. Work was done professionally and in a timely manner. They even went ahead and cleaned the gutters throughout the whole roof. Would consider using them again when the time comes to replace the gutters.

I also check his ratings on other sites and they were all great. I chose this vendor over 4 Samsung authorized repair businesses as none of them had very good ratings.

Mow to very short, aerate the lawn, apply Grub and insecticide. Mow again, rake up thatch apply fertilizer. Do spot repairs to sprinkler system. Trim several trees and clean up the debris after completion. James did an outstanding job, he accomplished more than I had asked and cleaned up after the work was completed.
