I love HomeAdvisor. It's really easy to use, and my pros always start calling before I leave the site! I also like that I can read reviews and they do background checks. I tell everyone I know about it.

They did a great job encasing pipes from radiators. It looks like another room was transformed. Overall they came to the job at the time indicated and worked diligently throughout the day. Clean up needs a little more work, it wasn't terrible, but it could have been better. People don't generally clean the way you would so maybe I expected too much.

This is my second projects using professional from Home Advisor and I am pleased with quality of work and cost from both professionals. It appears professionals strive to perform better job along with competitive cost as they rely on customer review to be more marketable via Home Advisor - win win!

I had all of my air ducts and cold air returns cleaned. This included cleaning my furnace. The technician was very professional and knowledgeable. I also had my dryer vent and line cleaned. I would highly recommend this company. I plan on having my carpets cleaned by this company in the next few months.

Individual arrived and had the furnace working within 5 minutes. Promised a more complete repair quote to permanently complete repairs on my unit, which was installed by a fly-by-night prior Home Advisor member and did not finish the furnace installation about 4 years ago.

I have utilized Home Advisor to find a plumber to replace my water heaters and a electrical handyman to fix my chandelier. Both were timely, fair priced, and did great work. At present I have a third Home Advisor contractor working.

Have used Home Advisor before (Remodeling contractors, masonry work, etc.). Have always gotten great service, good contractors to choose from and jobs completed on time, at the price negotiated, and professionally done. Would use Home Advisor first when planning new projects.

I have used HomeAdvisor for several jobs and have been extremely happy with the service and help with finding good help on my projects and they always get someone to contact me very fast and come look at what I need done, give me a quote and get started on the job.

The customer service is always excellent from the HomeAdvisor representatives to the recommended pros. I feel comfortable having the professionals in my home. I go to HomeAdvisor anytime I need a home project.

The Workman was pleasant and fast. He seemed to be well aware of his craft. He ask for a photo of my water heater that needed replacement, so he could match me with a new one. He left the area clean and dry, took credit cards so I could pay him after the work was completed.

I called around 2:00. The repairman was here around 4. He was gone within an hour. He found the problem and will return with the part tomorrow. Very quick response. Very knowledgeable. The repairman was efficient and professional. I will use this company again.

HomeAdvisor “generates leads” for contractors in their field of expertise, or they claim to. We signed up as a HVAC contractor in November 2017. The fee to join Home Advisor was $380.00. We were originally told that each lead would be about $16.00. After 4 months we have had approximately 50+ leads at the tune of $11-$26 per lead. We actually got two leads leading to a paying customer. The other leads we were charged for, lead to nowhere. A majority of the customers would not answer your call, would say they were trying to see what contractors were in their area, were looking to find out rate charges, or simply stated they did not request anyone to call them for service or repairs.

Went with a professional they recommended and was very satisfied with the work. They called back immediately, gave competitive quotes and were very professional. I will try HomeAdvisor again when needing home services. I get options from professionals in my area and it makes life much easier.

HomeAdvisor is very easy to use. I've had good experiences with projects based upon recommendations of HomeAdvisor. I've previous used this service and never had a bad experience. I will definitely be using HomeAdvisor in the future with my contractor needs.

Ceiling needed repair due to electrical work by a previous contractor. All ceilings were painted. 2 Bedrooms were painted with accent walls. All work done within less than two days. The workmanship was so good. The finished product was beautiful. The price was great. I would recommend these painters to any of my friends.

I've been using HomeAdvisor to find pros and get info about projects I'm interested in, which includes pricing. They have a lot of good information, and I trust the pros they recommend. I just learned that the pros have to pay to be on the site, which makes me think that they are very focused on their business, clientele and reputation. I just hired a Home Inspector and was really blown away by how great he was - both he and HomeAdvisor really exceeded my expectations!

Once again HomeAdvisor has hit a home run! Thank you for your service!! Would easily recommend this site to anyone or friends that need a GOOD job done. I got really good information from HomeAdvisor and the replacement of water heater went smooth. After I submitted information in HomeAdvisor immediately got information for three service companies. Nice information and very helpful. The provider charged little more than normal market rate. Other than that everything fine. Quality of work is good.

I can say one thing for sure, once these folks know your information they make good use of it. I get emails, phone calls [from people with accents so thick I can't understand them] surveys, OMG!!!! They provide a great service to folks like me who don't have the time to research. However, dogging me after I've clicked on their link for information is a HUGE turn off. When I'm researching I do not want 20 phone calls and emails and that is seriously what I got.

I was impressed with HomeAdvisor's care to ensure the contractor showed up and that we were happy with the service. I received several calls to follow up. It appears the contractors are monitored for their diligence. I would recommend trying this service.

They gave me a list of companies to choose from and I picked two and called. Both were available. One was almost immediately ready so that is the one I dealt with. They checked furnace and determined it was too old. Over 80 years old and best to replace. Next day it was in.

Great price and excellent customer service. I would recommend them every time. He was prompt and honest about some of the stains he did not think would come up due to the light color of the carpet and the length of time the stain had been there.

Found working with HomeAdvisor easy. They called me to check on my status and see if I had any questions. I did find it awkward that someone from my potential list called me after the job was done to see if I was still looking. Hired an electrician, he was great! Punctual, knowledgeable, polite, and patient with questions. I would definitely use HA again when looking for a pro.

I needed my very large flower bed cleaned out and trimmed. I had a lot of sea grass and liriope plants that had to be cut back and vinca vine in the flower bed. Toni cleaned out the bed, trimmed everything and cleaned up all of the plant "trash" and took it away. Everything looked so nice when he was finished. He is also very reasonable with his rates. Am very happy with the service and will hire him again.

HomeAdvisor has provided me with two exceptional companies. I will be using them again, I'm sure. The first person I hired from HA was a painter with whom I was very happy and the second was a home inspection service who was not only the lowest priced but also excellent in the performance of his task.

Finding a handyman. It was easy to use the website. I was given 3 to get reviews from. I chose 2, but never heard from one. I'm glad he was willing to come out that night. Maybe you should have more than 3 listed in case no one responds.

HomeAdvisor does a great job of finding pros for all sorts of jobs. In this case there were not that many results, but I was still able to find a great contractor to plow my driveway at short notice. My only complaint is that the website is quite cluttered, making it a bit daunting to use at first. But it is a great idea, and overall I'd say I'll be using it again.

Using HomeAdvisor helped to get a big job done quickly... All were professional. Although my next project is to get the septic pumped and there is no listing for that service. Thought that was a bit odd since we are in a rural area and I'm sure others need it too.

We needed 3 trees cut down and we were able to find a pro to complete this job for us. They were very professional and the cost of the service was reasonable. I would recommend HomeAdvisor to friend and family. I hope to use them for some other projects I need done.

Out of 3 appraisers I contacted through HomeAdvisor, 2 of them promised work but never delivered. When I reviewed them, I was called by HomeAdvisor to ask if I had paid them. Of course, I hadn't. BUT there was a verbal agreement given by both to get the appraisal done within a few days and I was to pay them once it was done. HomeAdvisor refused to put my reviews up on their website. As a result, others will continue to hire these less than professional businesses without any knowledge of my experience. A VERBAL CONTRACT in which the contractor promises to do the work, but expects payment at the end and then FAILS TO DELIVER, should not disqualify a customer from providing appropriate feedback. Not impressed by HomeAdvisor.

It is so helpful to have a process that walks you through finding the correct and well vetted professional. This saves numerous phone calls to unknown vendors trying to find the right one for our particular job. We are very satisfied and plan to use your service often as well as recommend it..

I have used HomeAdvisor multiple times and I find little relationship between the ratings shown for the companies and the actual quality of the folks responding to requests. One of the problems is the refusal of HomeAdvisor to accept reviews of companies not hired when, at least in my case, it was the poor quality of the people coming out to make an estimate which was the very reason the company was not hired.

Drywall repair and foundation patching - This was so easy. I had been looking for weeks going off of recommendations from friends. I had several people commit to fix and back out at the last minute. HomeAdvisor brought me a guy with the exact skills the very day I enrolled and he did a superior job. I will use both him and HomeAdvisor again and again.

Website is very easy to use to find recommended services. They usually have prompt (within 15 min) contact from listed services. Most of the businesses are very professional and some are even members of the BBB which gives more confidence when hiring the chosen company.

The company we used was fine, it is convenient to use one service to find contractors. I was disappointed that only one option was provided for the garage. But they were responsive. I just used HomeAdvisor to look for an electrician and there were more options available. I'll see how quickly they respond.

Install Closet - We added an addition to the house and I emailed a couple of people and Dean was the first to give me an estimate. He was reasonably priced and prompt. I appreciated that he is friendly and knew what he was doing.

The service was very fast and easy. The Pro showed up within 2 hours ON A SATURDAY. I've used HomeAdvisor twice now and have been very impressed. They seem to have very responsible and professional subcontractors to choose from. I would definitely recommend them.

Have looked over Angie’s list, Thumbtack, AARP, and Consumer Reports to evaluate services to use. Good customer experience isn’t a lock, neither is a wonderful product if poorly installed. What matters is consistently similar good reports from consumers, and HomeAdvisor does this.

The process was very simple, and I got a call from a service pro almost immediately after submitting my request. The pro came out the same day, and finished the work quickly and professionally. I got the job finished with first company they hooked me up with. Contacted the company and 3 days later they were finished. They painted all the walls and all the ceilings and shelves that were painted. They actually did more than I requested they do. They even caulked all the windows and cleaned up everything when done. You couldn't even tell they had been there except for all new walls and ceilings!

As for the company I hired, the customer service folks as well the the electrician were all very helpful and pleasant. The work was done in a timely and professional manner. They charge by the work/task rather than hourly, which prevents milking the clock, as some do. The incidentals -- gang boxes, switches, etc., are included in the price. HomeAdvisor has now given me two great recommended companies to hire.

Removal of existing carpet in hallway, guest bath, master bedroom and master bath and replacement with wood-look tile. 95% demo of existing bath (tub and shower, vanity top and fixtures) and replacement with walk-in shower and sliding glass doors, new quartz vanity top, new square sinks, new "waterfall" type faucets and light fixtures. Cleaner, more contemporary look. Opted to keep existing vanity and paint myself to save some cost. Also installed new, low-flow dual-flush toilets (3) throughout.

We had a tree that was damaged in a storm. It got worse throughout the winter. It was splitting and looked like it was going to fall on the house and in to the street. We called Buckeye Services and they came right out to assess the problem. They were efficient, caring and well priced. We would recommend them to others who need tree repair.

Very pleased with HomeAdvisor. Received a quick response with 2 names and phone numbers. Used the first person who responded. Second person called the next morning when the job was done but he was very pleasant and was happy to hear that my problem was taken care of.

Carpet cleaning - I submitted all of my needs and was given one service provider. After speaking with him on the phone, I decided to go with him, and he was wonderful. I was very pleased with the results and the cost. He was able to do the job on the day I needed it done, which was only a day after I called him.

I had used HomeAdvisor's cost estimator a few times for budget estimates on future projects, but I've finally used HomeAdvisor to book a pro to tackle a project. It was a very efficient process from start to finish. Once I was ready to find a pro, I was connected through HomeAdvisor to a nearby pro. The pro was able to come by for an estimate that same day, and we were able to book the job for the following day. Can't get much better than that!

Provided multiple choices for different types of projects. CS did an excellent job of following up with after posting projects and requesting bids from contractors. Advise CS to remind customers to a allow a good 10-15% of project time for contractors to schedule visits and start bid process. Try to gen up blank bids so contractor (hopefully) can just fill in and/or modify bid items when responding.

I love how HomeAdvisor sent me immediate businesses to choose from! It was easy and included email and phone numbers to choose from. The businesses responded and answered my questions. I ultimately chose a business from them. I chose that business over family and friends!

Received 3 referrals for service (Fallen trees). Met and received estimates from all 3 and hired one of them who did a very fine job. Have used HomeAdvisor in the past, and they have always been an excellent referral source. Also it has been my experience when contacting them, you get thru immediately, and their representatives are professional and pleasant.

Rocco diagnosed the valve problem quickly and repaired it. It was clogged with corrosion deposits from the well. He suggested I get a pipe inside my salt tank and also said my switches were rusty. If I take their service agreement, they clean the well tank and file the rust off the switches with each visit. They charge more for a service call outside of the required visits per the contract.

I heard an advertisement for HomeAdvisor on WSB Radio, and contacted them about a paint and drywall project for my home. I trusted their referral, and hired them. As it turned out, the person they had to contact me did not work for the company. I contacted HomeAdvisor and they said I should call the police. I was put in a very compromising position, and the work was inferior. The contractor did not put down tarp when he removed a ceiling and insulation. This left scratches on my hardwood floor. He demanded cash before the job was completed... he did not replace the insulation. This was in no way a professional and I am left with a room that will have to be done over. I am out $1550 for trusting HomeAdvisor. They stated on the commercial that the contractors are screened, and this was not true in my case. The lady from customer solutions said she was sorry this happened, but I feel they should be held accountable for this disaster!

Excellent employees, excellent results, I recommend this company over the other local competitors. When comparing businesses, check all the details. I believe this company actually makes the collars that the other companies buy and use. Great installation and even better - wonderful help with the training. The collars used today are very sophisticated and "smart." They beep as the pet approaches a restricted area, determine the speed of every approach and then deliver the smallest possible deterrent for each situation. Very impressive. I do not feel guilty using this adaptable technology on our sweet little pet.

Everything with the Simco Plumbing Co. was outstanding and I will give them a call for more jobs coming up this year. They were on time and it only took them 1 hour to finish the job of replacing the old waste disposer.

Wind ripped back a piece of aluminum trim from the gable peak in the front of my house. Repair was done with expectations of replacing the entire section when material becomes available at a prorated price - cool. I would not hesitate to rehire them for any additional work that I would need done...

HomeAdvisor has done a pretty good job of putting contractors in touch with me. Some of the businesses are not exactly what I was looking for but overall I am satisfied with the service. I will continue to use HomeAdvisor for any further projects I have.

Handyman matched to my door repair request performed on 3/8/18 was completed 100% to my satisfaction. Will highly recommend for future projects. Match for contractor for dining table repair has been contacted. Repair estimates currently under discussion. Further review forthcoming once work has been completed.

I intend to inform everyone I know about your deceitful rewards program and maybe I can save them being charged for a return stop payment check. SHAME ON YOU!!!

I received three recommendations. One immediately called me (I never heard from the other two) and came out to my house 45 minutes later at 7 am. I was impressed and will definitely call the same plumber again. I thought HomeAdvisor worked great.

Formerly, I used Angie's List but I have quit using it since I started using HomeAdvisor. The Reviews seem to be much more authentic and helpful. In addition, when searching for a contractor on HomeAdvisor, I typically get called by the contractors before finishing my search. This simplifies the job of having to call the contractors. Did I mention the HomeAdvisor service is free. Wow - Much better than Angie's List and it's free -- Keep up the great work of saving homeowners thousands of dollars by matching them with reputable high quality contractors!

So far no issues and will continue to use the site. Have used this site for projects in both Boston and Washington DC. First time using Home Advisor but we were pleased with the two companies they referred us to. Firstly the sprinkler system company they referred us to was excellent. Being able to see reviews from other jobs was helpful. We were especially pleased with the Housekeepers they connected us to.

I needed several things fix and David knew exactly how to fix everything that was wrong with my computer. I would recommend David to all of my friends, David was very professional at my home. I have never been so pleased with someone's ability to come into my home and he knew what to do to my computer.

I found a good contractor through the site and I was pleased with the ease of the process but I did not like the followup phone call or emails -- it just felt like too much. I was happy to review the contractor but other than that I felt a little too much pressure to start my next project through the site. (I don't have a next project!)

We feel comfortable that they have previously checked our these firms and post the previous experiences that other homeowners have had with these firms, giving us a level of comfort when choosing a firm to use.

I need someone to take over my lawn care. I live in a neighborhood with a super picky HOA so there are many details that need to be minded about the appearance of my yard. Beside the normal mowing, edging and trimming they have to blow the leaves off the property and trim the canopy of the three oaks in my front yard so that the overhang is not less than 6 feet from the street or the sidewalk.

I had had very bad experiences with heat pumps before I called Phil and his team at Energy Sharks. In a 14 year period, I had already replaced two heat pump systems. Now I needed a third system installed. When Phil came over, instead of just trying to sell me a new system, he wanted to discover what had made my old heat pumps die so early. And he quickly discovered it: my 2.5 ton system had been built with only one 14 inch pipe air return. The system was actually getting less than one ton of air. Phil installed a second air return vent with a 16 inch pipe to correct this problem, as well as installing a brand new Trane 2.5 ton heat pump. The difference is AMAZING. The amount of air flow I am getting out of my vents has more than doubled.

Flores Sprinkler Company installed new sprinkler system. Great job and wonderful prize. The system was old, however had the motor that was working properly. HomeAdvisor is for someone who is ready to start a project immediately. I went on the site to browse potential future projects just to get an idea of what something would cost. Since then, they have been hounding me with emails and phone calls trying to set up appointments and quotes. This can be very overwhelming and it makes me shy away from ever using them again. I decided to ask for a quote for a garage door repair, they called almost immediately from a call center situation. The lady I spoke to was very short and seemed inconvenienced by my questions. It seems like they get paid a commission for each appointment booked and they really aren't for the customer. She booked the wrong date, but luckily I was able to speak to the company directly and make my own arrangements outside of the awful call center experience.
