Early evening AC would NOT cool to set temp. Problem was drain blockage and cut off switch shutting down the compressor until the drain cleared and then the compressor would kick back on. First company did not find the problem. This one did.

Fantastic workmanship! Very friendly. Darius was a very hard and courteous worker. His prices were fair and he finished the job in a very timely manner. Darius, also did a great job in cleaning up after the job was finished. Highly recommend. Darius responded within minutes after I submitted what work I was looking to have completed. He also came out to give a written estimate the very same day.

I have recently hired a very good roofing contractor, a stump removal contractor, and glass cleaning contractor through HomeAdvisor. I am happy about the service provided. I am glad HomeAdvisor is available to provide valuable assistance to our home improvement projects.

Replaced wood deck with composite boards and wooden railing with black metal railing. The transformation was fabulous. Looking forward to no maintenance. They cleaned up debris and cleaned deck. Very satisfied with the finished product. It will be beautiful for years to come.

My wife & I found it a great pleasure working with R.A.S. associates. Steve is extremely knowledgeable & easy to work with. He did his homework before arriving, having researched the property. He listened to our concerns & fully explained the property lines. We found Steve interesting & to the point. I am 83 years of age & have been self-employed since my 20's, & have dealt with many people. If I had my companies running today, I would hire Steve because of his caring & work ethic. I don't think you could find anyone better.

I was unable to clear a clogged drain myself and needed a plumber. I went to HomeAdvisor and within minutes was talking the company that fixed my problem. They had someone in the area who was able to come by the same day and fixed the problem at a very reasonable cost.

We used Dunn Landscaping after reading reviews on Angi. We had someone else come look at the project and we waited for a quote, which we never got. He didn't return phone calls either. Dunn Landscaping was completely opposite. Very happy and would recommend. Angi was easy to use and I would use again.

Booked an appointment for a plumber. Another from Angie’s List called back within minutes with a better rate. Immediately went to cancel the previous appointment only minutes after appointment made. Angie’s list Charged me $25 TWICE to cancel. Was not aware I would be charged if cancelled immediately after the appointment made.

Broken single pane window repair. 39" x 14". Removal of old broken glass and wood frame and replacement with new glass. The window was old and required some careful craftsmanship to make the repair, instead of replacement, work properly. The new glass is in and the window is fully repaired to my satisfaction.

Attic Insulation was installed in existing home. Mann Bros was great in handling the job. Would highly recommend them to anyone who needs this service. They were on time and finished within minutes of promised time. They left area clean as it was when they arrived.

I've used HomeAdvisor numerous times, no issues. For whatever reason, I got an email that said this job was cancelled yet the Pro contacted me otherwise and we went forward with completing this project and it was a great experience. I was confused because of the cancellation email.

I have never heard of Home Advisor until a couple months ago, and I found the website through Google. This site is simply amazing if you are looking to get a specific job completed around the house or office. After using Home Advisor once, I was so pleased with the results, options, and businesses they recommended. Home Advisor makes it so easy to find someone for a job you think doesn't exist, and they show you the ones with the most reviews. I have been able to get everything I need done around the office thanks to Home Advisor.

One spring broke on garage door on a Friday. Internet search led to 3 choices by Home Advisor. One gave an immediate quote. One scheduled an appointment online and one called minutes after the search. Precision set up and appointment for the next day, a Saturday. The technician called prior to arrival, the company texted and e-mailed before arrival. The technician showed up on time, had 3 estimates depending on the minimum work and parts required and 2 estimates that included additional work that would have a longer warranty. The work was done immediately within 2 hours and the repair appears flawless.

Mike & Chase did a fantastic job. Couldn’t ask for better service or efficiency. Totally professional and very informative. Cost efficient and effective. I will be using them from now on. Am hiring them for AC maintenance and a plumbing job. Knowledgeable and trustworthy.

Ammaar and/or his team never showed up. After repeated text messages he finally replied saying he would need to be paid directly, as Angi hadn't paid him for the past few jobs. I was very uncomfortable about that and cancelled the appointment.

Consumers DO NOT use this service. They charge outrageous amounts to the vendors and contractors for these leads. One customer wanted 3 windows and they charge $250.00 for the lead....nonsense. Go online and use other resources....google reviews...other honest websites that care about the consumer. These guys are crooks. Stay Away!!!!

Tore off two layers of roofing. Found additional 20 sheets of plywood were rotting from the bottom side. They replaced bad wood and installed new roof. Did complete clean-up and settled on a fair price. This was my elderly mother's home.

Garage door would not open or close, and the door was partially off the track, and the bottom part of the door was partially bent. New rollers were installed, the door was put back on the track and the part that was bend was put back together.

Angie hooked me up with the best fence builder, T and T fencing was by far the best company in the Farmington area for our needs especially if you are on a budget. I had several companies call me within an hour. Thank you, Angi for this service. I will definitely use Angi again for my next project.

We hired Angel to design the plans for an addition on our daughter's house for a in-law-suite-. We are in Florida and the site for the build is in Lewisville, Texas. Angel met us at our daughter's house and spent a lot of time discussing what we wanted and did the appropriate measurements. We have received the permit prints. A great job.

The business I chose had very recent, up to date reviews. And they were good reviews. The Chavezes are bi-lingual which was no problem at all. I added power washing debris from the roofs. We also easily discussed a downspout design in a tricky area. Thank you!

I have tried looking around for other sprinkler contractor but either they are busy or not taking small work but Angi has provided me the contractor who did the job pretty well and quickly.

I contacted Home Advisor needing my AC system replaced. Had a number of responses within minutes. The company I chose, Atwater Burger, LLC dba Mend Services, Came out within minutes, Gave me a job cost and replaced the HVAC the same day. Thank you Home Advisor!

I need my driveway paved. I created a job description per their interview process. I received three 'references' not actual quotes. The first one was something like "Angi's Guaranteed". The second one was a probably a real asphalt contractor, the third was almost certainly a "Gypsy Traveler". Then the emails started. They keep asking for $25 to proceed with my project. So I read the Terms & Conditions, and basically, it's a simple way for me to forfeit $25 to HA/Angi and get nothing and be entitled to nothing in return. I have since unsubscribed from *ALL* lists. Despite my attempts to cancel & disconnect, I expect to be involuntarily contacted by them at least 5 more times in the next two weeks, and two or three additional times again in approximately 8 weeks.

I found it helpful to have a site where I could get recommendations that I would trust. Both companies that were listed called me in a timely manner to see if I still needed help. I found this very impressive.

By 7 am the next day the repair was completed…Handy was extremely professional explaining what he was going to do to repair my roof. There is a slow water in My kitchen sink. When using washing machine, water comes out from the drain. Bruz and his partner Victor run snake into the drain pipe of outside outlets, kitchen and washing machine. Now the water goes very quickly.

Jimmy did a very good job with our home inspection. His inspection was very thorough. He explained everything that needed to be addressed in plain English. We would definitely recommend him and Longview Home Inspections, and in fact, we already have!!!

I was told the appointment would be at 1 p.m. Friday July 8th. Thursday the 7th of July I received a notice in the evening that the job was canceled because HomeAdvisor could not confirm with the selected company. Friday mid-morning, I was told the worker would be arriving a 1 p.m. I had made other plans by then and called homeadvisor. The person answering the phone told me "We never canceled the job" even though I was looking at the cancellation email. She hung up on me!!

For expensive projects, I still solicit quotes from three Home Advisor contractors, giving me additional confidence that I'm hiring the best-of-the-best. I first used Home Advisor five-years ago, continue to use them today and look forward to using them in the future.

Main water leak repaired at the junction where copper pipe and PVC connected. Replaced the leaking PVC with PEX at that area. Replaced Master shower valves and new trim replaced with Moen. Replaced Guest shower/tub valves replaced with new trim with Moen.

I loved W&W electrical that I hired through Home Advisor. But I will never use Home Advisor again. I scheduled a "guaranteed price" electrically outlet install for 200 dollars. The appointment was set and W&W electrical came out the same day. I then get a text that night from another person (at 9pm at night) to say that they would be coming out the next day. I never authorized to have my information sent to multiple companies. Also the price was 850 and not 200. I called home Advisor multiple times to make sure the price was 200 and every time they said yes. When I found out they booked me for multiple people, I called and told them to cancel everything that they had ever set up for me and just went with W&W electrical. They also charged me for a job that was never done and then acted like they were doing me a favor by reversing the charge. This is a lawsuit waiting to happen.

Thoroughly impressed. Associate was out day after my call to get details. I was provided an estimate by end of the day and work began within a couple of days. Very knowledgeable team led by Paul, who is brilliant. The team are not only skilled and efficient, but also personable and work with my needs. Originally I had installed a new panel, GFCIs in kitchen and bathrooms, and smoke detectors. Given my confidence in their work, now they’ll be updating all my outlets and switches and installing recessed lighting in my bathrooms. I feel very fortunate to have this team, including the woman who does the scheduling!

Install Ring Flood Cam from existing outside electric outlet. Ran piping and wire and installed new box for hard wired Ring Flood Cam. Paul did an excellent job and saw the whole job through including getting Ring installed on my phone with other cameras. Great job!

I went to HomeAdvisor (powered by Angi) to find my cleaning service, largely because they supposedly verify the quality of the companies they list. I will admit the first time the cleaning service came the lady was very professional and did a wonderful job, the house looked absolutely amazing after she left. However, just the second time with the cleaning services HomeAdvisor contracted out to our home, the lady robbed us blind! We have wood flooring, and at the end of her "cleaning" she requested that my mother (who is disabled) stay in her room for 15 minutes while she sprayed some cleaner on the wood floors. The lady took this time to steal several items from us, including but not limited to prescription drugs and boxes just delivered by FedEx.

Simple and easy to use website. Will definitely use for future projects. Was not expecting Same-Day service, but was pleasantly surprised. Very knowledgeable and communicated their plan well. Painting of the exterior siding, doors and trim. They also replaced any siding that was defective. They picked up all the supplies, put tarps and coverings around the house to ensure no damage and removed all the debris from the area when they were finished.

When refrigerator repair was done by Home Advisor our luxury vinyl floor was torn when the refrigerator was pulled out. After many tries to get restitution our claim was approved in writing but despite many calls to them the promised $500 has not been received. No direct contact is possible with claims department. Customer Support says you will be contacted by Claims Department but after a while Claims Department stops communicating. The original claim goes back to October 2021. It is now May 2022. Very frustrated and disappointed.

HomeAdvisor by Angi was very prompt in providing lawn maintenance firms in our surrounding area. We randomly chose one that seemed to be sized appropriately for our small lawn mowing need. The selected company replied the same afternoon that we filled out our need section. We met later the same date. We could not ask for a better experience.

Tucson Doors, Rick **, Replaced wheels/rollers on sliding door. It's a large heavy 4 foot door. Rick was on time, neat, friendly and organized and removed and cleaned up the other tools. Rick went right to work and got the repairs completed and gave me ideas for my other doors. I will be calling him to help measure my other doors. Invoice and payment was made as the job was completed.

We are very greatful for the Prottek AC repair person name Santos **. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and fast with repairing our AC and very reasonable cost too. BTW, It was a few days before Mother's day, the sun was very hot and humid air. Bless his heart.

The Trident Company did exactly what they said would be done. We are very pleased with the finished appearance of our home. There were some unsightly stains, on the eaves of the house, we feared would remain. To our delight when the men left, so did the stains. Thank you Trident for a job well done!!

S & I Services contacted me very quickly after they were recommended for the work. Saul came out within the week, and completed the job even though we encountered a couple of snags. He was patient and did the job, even with the extras for the original cost estimate. Very happy.

Mark did a beautiful job repairing and painting an older cedar chest. We were so pleased with the quality of his work. Mark had the cedar chest back to us in about two weeks. He was very helpful and picked up the chest and returned to us. It is 25 miles each way.

I received 2 phone calls almost immediately after I asked for help on HomeAdvisor from 2 people that said they were working with Valentino’s Irrigation and Lighting that wanted more information from me and tried to get to buy a membership so that I could receive a discount on this job and other projects in the future. I asked them to send me the info to my email and I would review it. Needless to say I never received any info. Not sure if it was a scam but it sure did sound like it. As far as Home Advisor themselves I have no complaints. The company that I hired was excellent and would use them again.

Was easy to find someone to assist with cleaning out my gutters. I made a request on Saturday and had someone contact me the same day. Didn't go with that company but I did eventually find the right fit for the job and it was super easy to get an appointment.

We received different estimates from 4 different companies before we made our choice. They did what they said they would do and cleaned up after job was finished. They also moved a sprinkler head so as to make certain all sod was being covered at no charges. Installers were very nice and did a great job.

I hired a contractor through Home Advisor for desk assembly and removal for our business office. The entire project was a uncompleted and a complete fiasco! When we first contacted Home Advisor we requested setup of about 15 office desks plus removal of the old desks. This task would take at least two people to complete, yet HA sent ONE person. Even a very skilled contractor would have found it impossible to assemble and remove 15 large desks by him/herself! Thus, the project did not get done. (I didn’t meet the contractor in person; I heard they were good but I imagine they were frustrated as well).

I use Home Advisor for all my home repairs. Highly recommend this service. Been using them for years and so far I have had no problem. If I have a problem with a contractor I notify Home Advisor and they deal on the contractor to resolve the problem. I’ve had a problem with an electrician I found thru Home Advisor. I contacted them and the problem was resolved to my satisfaction.

This provider was punctual, well equipped, and professional. The quality of their work was very good and they were thorough. It was a pleasure doing business with this provider and I will feel comfortable referring the service to others. I find the service much more desirable that completing this survey/questionnaire but I am willing to go above and beyond to provide accurate accounting of this services.

Writing reviews is risky business for the consumer. They break into cars in our driveways now. I do not trust to leave negative reviews. I have been threatened in the past by a person I employed for fencing. I fired the person for flooring as his crew was sloppy and showed up late and left early. Roofers (the last 2) were horrible. So no not much positive about home repair persons as a whole.

The individual that took the order to paint interior walls provided a "fixed price" and said the paint was included in the price as well as the labor. Later another person contradicted the price. When the painter arrived he said he was told I would have the paint and that the price quoted was just for the labor. That is not how my conversation went with my order. The person taking my order specifically told me the price included the paint. She was aware I did not have the paint as I was relying on the painter to determine how much paint would be needed. The order taker quoted the job as a 3-hour job.

Great company. I loved best glass and windows. Honest, great work. Thorough and respectful of our home. Easy to work with, completed in timely manner, cleaned up after project, carried away debris. Can’t say enough good things about them!!! Call now.

I did not appreciate all of the calls every day and 20 emails for two weeks. They were very pushy. Also, simple Google searches work better than this. Don't sell your information to them. I would not recommend home advisor to anyone. The phone call I did respond to was nosey, unprofessional and the typical salesman or telemarketer who doesn't listen to you.

My first experience with Home Advisor. Once I posted on Home Advisor, a repair person called and made a reasonable offer. He performed the repair as promised for the price we agreed on. Anthony was agile, thorough and clever. The repair was more difficult than expected and he found many ways to solve problems. The experience was perfectly satisfactory.

He came on time, worked diligently, was courteous, and cleaned up before leaving. He was careful and respectful of my new cabinets and countertops. I was so pleased with his work that I hired him to work. Hang wallpaper in my guest bathroom.

I used your online bot to request a QUOTE for a minor plumbing job. Your language specifically said “get a quote” from a selection of 5 companies I could choose from. I selected two… after being forced to provide my name, address, cell phone & email. In spite of selecting 2 providers, I was immediately swamped with emails, calls & texts from at least a dozen or more providers. It was ridiculous.

An overall great experience. Thankful to have found Matt to install our electric fence. A professional through and through. The install and training guidance throughout the process was exceptional. We are thrilled with everything, including our dogs who took to him like they had known him for years.

Nice place to find contractors, etc. needed to remodel home. You can get reviews and estimates as well. This helps a lot when you don't know where to start. Every project is available to research here for a job needed to be done in your home.

My sprinkler system had two broken pipes and he patched and replaced two heads of the system and check the system. It took two hours and half to do that. After Adrian finish with my sprinkler system and my Neighbor came and contracted him to repair his sprinkler system too.

After the work was complete by a HomeAdvisor selected company, they called me 5 times in 2 days without ever leaving a message. Two of those times were back-to-back after I sent one to voice mail. It's highly unprofessional to call that many times without leaving messages when this was related to completed business work. I told them to put me on the do no call after this experience.

The pro you recommended was great, but the endless telephone calls from Angi/HomeAdvisor have been less than enjoyable. Any time I look at the website or use the Angi app, I know that I will receive a call, whether I choose to begin a project or not. I will say that the callers have been kind and considerate, but so many calls!

Anthony's Garage Door provided great service! Our roll up door had a major issue and was stuck. We called Anthony, he called right back and asked me to take pictures of the broken springs. Once he validated that he had the part in stock he was on site within 2 hours. He replaced the new springs and made all the adjustments and the door was so much better than before.

I was NOT impressed with Home Advisor this time. Since they merged with Angi. Too many unnecessary phone calls, emails and texts - repetitive- no one on the other line or unprepared callers. I was hoping to have a list of contractors to select from, but what happened was I got a bunch of calls from various contractors, which was annoying. I answered the first call from the contractor and used them. They did a great job, but I don't like how I was solicited instead of me being allowed to choose on my own. HomeAdvisor should make it clear that, if you input information, you will get called by several contractors automatically.

So far I have had some good and some disappointing experiences with Home Advisor. For some projects, I've been able to obtain competitive bids and found good contractors. However, I have had service appointments canceled numerous times and have found some pricing higher than what I've found on my own.

Recommended a contractor to deliver and spread bin 10 for drive to carport. Job exceeded my expectations and very pleased. I received a call survey from ANGI on services provided by BCM. I am pleased with HomeAdvisor and Angi recommendations. I will definitely recommend Home Advisor as I had called several other contractors before contacting ANGI and only 1 returned my call, not unusual for those in my area.

They stayed true to the bid. Helped me understand the options. Were very polite. Cleaned up the area well, showed up as per arranged, did the work in a day. Cleaned up the next morning. I now have a stable chimney (relaid more bricks than first thought and point/tucked the rest) with new flashing. No complications. A very gratifying experience!

Trust Google and other sources more when making decisions about whom to hire. HomeAdvisor requires you provide personal details to submit your review. While verifying that a real person is appropriate, sometimes a business is so shady that a customer might not want to share detailed information about themself for fear of retribution. It is important that customers be encouraged to share honest feedback, but HomeAdvisor limits that through their invasive practices.

Tarsis was the first to call after my wife had requested the service on HomeAdvisor Sunday afternoon. He was very professional on the phone. Then on then Monday morning he was here right at 9:00 AM he scheduled. He was very thorough with his service. My wife was very impressed. Spoke to Home Advisor/Angi on March 8. Told them I needed a licensed plumber to mediate a sewage smell in my toilet. They gave me a price and arranged for a plumber to arrive on March 11. The next day I contacted them again to let them know the plumber had to provide proof of insurance and copies of his license to the management company of the co-op apartment. I was then informed that the plumber was unlicensed. So I told them that I was guaranteed a licensed plumber. They apologized and said they would send a licensed plumber, but that the cost would be $266 instead of the original quote of $170.

I used Growing Solutions to remove two trees that were both about 25 ft high and not very easy to access. The trees were close to the house and fence. They quoted a very fair price, came out the day after estimating the job, worked quickly and paid due attention to their safety practices. They were careful not to damage landscaping lights and patio furniture/plants. Also took great care to cut the trees down in segments & landed them safely without damage to structures, fence or other trees. They removed the stumps and cleaned up great. Even swept the driveway. Excellent work and value. I’m keeping their number for future jobs.
