I have found the company to be very reliable. I know that I can count on them for quality service providers. Whenever I have a new project, HomeAdvisor is my first stop. I’ve found many home improvement help from HomeAdvisor.

I stated on HomeAdvisor that I would make the calls to get estimates. I chosed the top 5 to contact based on reviews from others. After about five minutes, I had at least 10 different companies calling me. I didn't like that.

I used them for a while but they changed a few things that were not cost effective for me. Told them that when I am ready I will be glad to call back. Since then, all I get is constant harassing calls from multiple reps with me telling them time over time to put me on the no call list. They continued to call and so here we are writing this review. I have recorded them over and over and have passed it on to my attorney where I'm planning legal action. I understand that they wanna make a sale - I get that but to constantly call on a daily basis is pure harassment. Besides there are better places to market than HomeAdvisor - NEVER AGAIN, THE ABSOLUTE WORST!!!

We’ve used Home Advisor at least 3 times. They sent the very best people each time. We will continue using Home Advisor for any future projects. So much better than searching the web and then looking for references or looking at BBB.

Dry Wall repair - Got three estimates quickly once I went on Home Advisor. Found the right guy for the job and will be using him again for other projects. Site was easy to use and the businesses selected were professional and gave me thorough, detailed estimates.

I have a small company that I found out doesn't fit their software. They promised me tons of leads, but provided NONE in a full year. Although I called them repeatedly month after month, and the HomeAdvisor managers tried 3 times to refund me, the main office refused. The Main office is either INCOMPETENT, MEAN, or CORRUPT. My company was never findable on their site. But, they kept my money!!

Received calls from two companies few hours after posting on Home Advisor. Appointment next day. The plumber arrived on time. Very clean, he put booties on before stepping in. He was using protective drapes when working in the bathrooms replacing the spout and drain. He provided estimate and advice for kitchen sink replacement.

Lost a few shingles due to high winds. Contacted roofer thru HA. He called same day, since it was minor repair scheduled it for next day and came over and fixed it. I thought the costs were reasonable. He didn't need the practice, if I didnt know the shingles had been replaced you wouldn't be able to tell by looking.

Torsion Spring Replacement Project - Compared Angie's List vs HomeAdvisor recommended list of vendors for my specific project. The vendor suggested by HomeAdvisor had more recent reviews. So, that drove my decisions regards choice of vendor. Spoke with vendor via phone and was convinced reviews spoke with a sense of truth.

Great recommendations! Have used 3 different recommended repair. I thought they all did a good job! The services I have used over the years were lawncare, plumbing, and appliance repair. I received a fast response each time. The only problem is HomeAdvisor calls me during my work hours and I’m not supposed to take calls then.

Kenny and Scott are not only reliable and impressively competent to address bird/nesting issues in ductwork but also do so with professionalism and respect for your property. I would definitely recommend VA Animal Control if you have similar issues. They were prompt to respond and provided an expert approach to what can be a frustrating issue. Definitely consider them and hope that you are as pleased with the outcome as we are.

I used HomeAdvisor to find a company to conduct repairs on my garage floor. HomeAdvisor found a few companies for me to review and I did select a company to perform my requested maintenance. The end result was complete satisfaction.

Tree Removal - HomeAdvisor quickly identified several Pros located near our area along with information on each. The customers reviews were very helpful and were key in our decision making. I will use HomeAdvisor again and again. Found a reputable Pro nearby, got several quote and am pleased with the resulting work.

HomeAdvisor keeps asking me about Medina Finishers but I did not do business with them. 5-bers were very efficient, prompt and all their people were very courteous and interested in doing exactly what I wanted with my refinishing project which was a metal table and so it was complicated. They went beyond my expectations by providing buffers for the glass shelves that are on top of the table shelves. I have already recommended them to friends.

Repaired driveway and put in paving stones and my property is looking like it never did before. Beautiful. I couldn't more pleased with his work. They did a total cleanup. When looking for top work there's no reason to look any further. You will be totally satisfied.

I don’t want to do business with HomeAdvisor anymore. They post our address and say you need a Subpoena to remove your address or even close your account. I have talked to contractors that tell me they are very unprofessional that they are referring out. What kind of business doesn’t allow you to “delete” your account? Or make your address private? It’s an invasion of your privacy. One of the contractors refused to give me his 3 men’s information but yet they were coming into our home and that was a no go for us!

This was my first time utilizing HomeAdvisor. My search resulted in two professionals. Before I had a chance to reach out, one reached out to me the next day (which was Sunday); which I wasn't expecting and put me off a tad since I wasn't expecting it. But I did hire the individual and he was wonderful to work with. So now knowing what to fully expect, I will likely turn to HomeAdvisor again if the need arises.

I love the ease of searching for a project and having options from several vendors. It was like shopping in a candy store :). I really enjoyed being able to read reviews and get different quotes from the very beginning. It was a great experience and I am eager to return with other projects.

James ** came out to replace a damaged ridge vent and repair some damaged shingles. He was on time and did a great job. His pricing was reasonable for the work being done. I will definitely use him again for future work and recommend him to others.

Make Glades your first and only call for a water heater replacement! They responded within 15 minutes of a phone call and did excellent work. They made sure the surrounding area was as clean (actually cleaner!) as when they began the job.

Replacing carpet with Laminate - I was very satisfied and happy with the job that was done and completed at my home. They were hard workers and did an excellent job. I would recommend this company to friends and family. I hope to have them back to do more things for me as I save up the money.

I used Home Advisor twice and both times the work and companies were good. I used them to find an electrician and repair a gate as well as retaining wall. They gave me good solid companies who were honest with real reviews that had verified reviews.

I am a contractor who decided to give HomeAdvisor a try after multiple sales calls from them to get me to sign up. Well I broke down one day and signed up. 1 year later and thousands in fees I ended up with 2 leads that didn't even come close to making what I had spent with HomeAdvisor. Here is my experience. Besides super overpriced fees is their leads are terrible! You will be charged every time someone clicks or calls you even if they did it by accident. I did get credited a few times but the countless other times I got nothing except charges. Remember they charge you anywhere from $150 to $300 per depending on what type of lead it is. These guys put on a great front and they have their scam down pat so don't fall for their sales pitch!

I have used several of their vetted professionals for each job I needed done. I have never been disappointed. A great tool to find a professional quickly. I will keep using HomeAdvisor for every single project I need done around my home or my son's home.

I contacted HomeAdvisor to get some estimates to for a job I wanted done. I got a bunch of calls and scheduled a few to come out for an estimate. One the contractors after learning I would not being going with them mailed me a charge a month later for a 135$ diagnostic fee. This fee had neither been agreed to or discussed by the contractor at any time.

I received 1 call within 5 minutes of submitting my request and then another 2 calls within 1-2 hrs. Those were a bit too late for me. I did not receive approximate comparison which I would like to have had.

I received a quick response from the selected company and was pleased with the work and the promptness of the service. HomeAdvisor's listings were were easy to search and gave a pretty clear picture of the services provided by the listed professionals.

Very happy with HA experience. I got 3 local contractors contacting me within minutes of submitting my request. I ultimately hired one of them. What I would suggest skipping is the follow up phone call(s). In my opinion, if one would like to give a review, it is simple and in one own time to do so online.

I actually had wood fencing and wrought iron gates installed. It looks great! I am very happy. Alpha was easy to work with. Thought they may be behind since we've had bad weather, but they showed up when they said they would and were finished before I got off work.

Told me I could set monthly fee to $0 and only choose which leads to follow up on. So I signed up and they had monthly fee set at $1,000 so I went to change it and they only let you go down to $100 a month. I call and they put my account on hold for a month and then start it all over again. I called to cancel and they removed fees and I thought that was the end of it, but they asked if I still wanted to keep my account and I stupidly said yes. And now they are charging me for unwanted leads again. Also I'm pretty sure most of the leads are just their employees making it look like real leads.

We wanted our ceilings and high walls painted. We were given several names to choose from, chose 3. All were well qualified. We just chose one and were well satisfied with the work. This is our 3rd job using HomeAdvisor and have been happy with all three jobs.

Having used HomeAdvisor three times now, I can say they have done a great job at supplying top not professionals to help me with any home related repair projects. Always contacted quickly and services supplied have always been top notch.

Contractor ran off with my 10K in 2 days. HomeAdvisor take no responsibility if an instance like this happens. No stars are deserved. I had to hire a lawyer to sue the contractor who ended up filing bankruptcy then fleeing country.

A few vendors came up on the search but only one actually contacted us. I usually get at least three estimates for a job. The vendor came to give us an estimate. We liked him very much and he seemed reliable and trustworthy. We hired him without getting additional estimates. The price seemed reasonable. They did a great job and we plan on keeping them on our go to list of vendors for window cleaning and power washing. I will use Tripadvisor again when I have another project.

They company was great to work with. The two employees were on time, polite, nice, and quick. They worked very hard and did a great job. They cleaned my driveway, sidewalks, front porch and back pool deck and the cost was reasonable.

We were extremely satisfied with the contractor referred to us by HomeAdvisor. Brian Caldwell Carpentry is fantastic. Quality work at a reasonable price and he delivers on schedule. HomeAdvisor steered us in the right direction, even after obtaining quotes from contractors not suggested by HomeAdvisor.

I had a very good experience with HomeAdvisor. I called them on a Sunday and they had a company call me back immediately. Not only did the company call me back, but they were able to give me an appointment within an hour. I have to say, I was a bit worried and thought I'd be pressured. Not at all. The company they sent out was fabulous and we hired them. This was an emergency situation and I was a bit worried about the cost. Again, another great experience. The company they sent out is extremely reasonable. The whole experience was phenomenal. I couldn't be any happier.

RW Stump Removal is excellent and a terrific value. He left the yard neat and tidy and the stumps are gone! I highly recommend him. Reggie is a super nice man and it was a pleasure having him take care of this rather large project.

They hooked me up with well qualified vendors for the replacement of my gutters. I’m very pleased with the whole experience. They need to eliminate the emails for other services as I find this off putting. I will contact them when I need something else.

HomeAdvisor need to sort out and eliminate their bad companies that they recommend. I needed a moving company and they recommended Easy Movers from Pineville. NC. I scheduled with them and they gave me an arrival window of 1:00-3:00. I took a day of vacation from work for the move. They did not show up. At 2:30 they called and said they had at least 2 more hours on another job in Charlotte, which is an hour or more away from me (and at rush hour on a Friday). Easy Movers is not a reliable company and HomeAdvisor should not recommend them.

Great Resource - This was the first time using HomeAdvisor and it was a huge help. The pro that the site recommended was fantastic. I will use Home Advisor again as well as the pro that I used for this small job.

HomeAdvisor provided a choice of vendors, the one I chose was excellent. I like the mobile app, the ability to receive texts and the prompt follow up from 2 or 3 vendors (not a million). Excellent platform, easy to use and fully recommend.

Got up in the morning and the water would not work. Got on Google and called another contractor. Ended up contacting HomeAdvisor and was properly connected to the contractor I used. Based on my experience I would use homeadvisor again.

Home Advisor is easy to use and you receive recommended businesses for your job quickly. This is great especially if you need the work done immediately. These business are usually ready to respond and get to work. They have also been vetted and screened, which sets my mind at ease about having them in my home. All at no cost to you.

Heat pump valve and thermostat issue - Debugged the system, he found the leaky valve in minutes and after a bit found the thermostat was losing connection. Replaced both and refilled system at a very competitive price. It was all done on the same day as the inspection and bid within a few hours. He stayed until every phase of the system was tested and passed within spec. values. He showed me how to program the new stat, cleaned up, and was friendly to boot.

Requested Carpet & Furniture Cleaning - I received about 6 responses to my inquiry. The first response was immediate. The remainder came in within a couple of hours. I researched online each company's reviews and all were rated very highly so it was a difficult decision so I chose the company that responded first. This is an excellent service and will recommend to others need home services.

I have used two different individuals for projects/jobs at my home and both were polite, well mannered, very personable and did fine work. Would highly recommend both to anyone who needs work done in their home.

I was ready to begin a landscaping/drainage/grading project immediately in Birmingham, AL and not one of the contractors reached out from the website. Not one. I guess this service is completely pointless aside from filling your inbox with useless email. No thanks. You can keep this service!

Very disappointing service from them. Was very nice described by the salesperson. But in real we spent over $500, never got any real job from them. Some of the leads was even canceled accounts by clients. HomeAdvisor never refund even those. We call and cancel their service in November 2018. On January 1 2019 they send us couple leads with attached bill for those. We call them and ask why is that happened since there was request for cancellation earlier. The answer was: "We never cancel at the first request..." ??? WHAT? So now they call us to pay the balance of $78 otherwise we'll be sent to collection agency. We gonna hire attorney to get our money back. PLEASE!!! Stay away from this company. Company like that should be out of business.

I was having a hard time getting multiple bids for a master bedroom & master bath renovation. HomeAdvisors only returned one contractor for the work we needed. We called that person and they ended up doing a great job, but HomeAdvisors called me to see if I had begun my project and offered to personally find some other contractors in the area. Very impressed with the personal call, gave me direct line phone number if I had any issues. Impressive.

Quick response to inquiry of project and estimate of cost. Appointment scheduled to start 3 days from contact. Received response back from installers to verify that time of appointment was able to be moved up to earlier in the day. Work completed to satisfaction and work area cleaned up. Installers were both professional and courteous. Would not hesitate to recommend them to others or use them again if needed.

The problem was quickly identified, I was briefed on the work required to perform the repair, a reasonable estimate was sent and I accepted. We scheduled a date to complete the work. They communicated with me regularly to keep me informed prior to the work. The technician arrived on time and completed the work in a timely fashion to my satisfaction.

I have used you several times. I find you useful for certain standard jobs (kitchen remodel, roof repair, pool service). Not so helpful with nonstandard jobs (replace old wooden gates, repair outdoor granite counter tops). I find myself wondering what your vendors think of you and what commissions they pay to you. Overall, I think that your concept is solid and that you perform a useful service.

I was contacted by three different companies within minutes and was able to select a qualified repair tech. The repair tech came out the same day with the necessary part and made the repair quickly. The job was completed to my satisfaction.

HomeAdvisor was very prompt in finding me a professional. Their customer service took all the details over the phone and sent me a set of 3 pros. That resulted in a multiple phone calls from these pros. After going back and forth with them, I zeroed in one of them who completed the installation on the same day.

Hot water heater install - I got to choose between a number of companies to do the job. A professional company located and hired. The installer was friendly and professional. Installation was quick and high quality. The new unit looks great. I highly recommend the service.

I’ve been charged 83$ for a lead that the customer just hung up on me without saying anything. I asked for a credit and denied because I haven’t purchased enough leads prior. That’s crazy!! Now I’m charged another 53 for a lead I cannot reach. I asked for a credit and again, denied. I’d be careful about doing business with HomeAdvisor as they do not seem to give any customer service back.

I submitted requests for 2 types of trade contractors. I was able to connect with Electricians very fast and easy. I also submitted a request for a Carpenter to fix a door. As yet they have not been able to find one for me. They did follow up on the phone and said they would try again. I haven't heard anything new. HomeAdvisor people were very friendly and helpful and did follow up. Something I very much appreciate, even though they hadn't found anyone they called to let me know they would still work on it.

Matched our needs for a plumber with expert service. There were several follow-ups to ensure that the work was done to our satisfaction. A few more matches were also offered, in case the service was not delivered in a timely manner. I found Home Advisor very useful and prefer it over other similar services on the Web.

Decksidcor Roofing was on the list provided by Home Advisor. This was my first time needing urgent work done on my house. A leaking roof is only going to get worse. Mr. ** came by on 3/5/19 and inspected the trouble spots on gave me a quote. The job was completed today 3/8/19 at a lower price than previously quoted. I am very please.

Home Advisor put me in touch with an Electrician quickly. The work came out exactly as planned. HomeAdvisor made the project very easy. They followed up to make sure everything went well. I will definitely use them again on my next project.

This company will ** your bank account and will not refund any money to you. 99.9% of all leads I call say they do not need my services and that they never were on anything like HomeAdvisor and they don't know how I got their information! SPEND YOUR MARKETING MONEY ELSEWHERE!!! IT IS NOT WORTH IT!!!

I love using Home Advisor for projects. They offer everything you need and you get phone calls immediately after you send a request for a professional for specific projects. I also like that you're given several people/companies to ensure you get more than one quote for prices to ensure you hire the right person for the job.

Temporarily fixed dryer so it could be used and installed the new part immediately upon receipt. Great customer service. Great guy. Very pleasant and polite. Worked fast and was thorough. Gave me his card. I will call on him in the future. He provided excellent communication about project and follow up.

Great recommendation but the communication through Home Advisor was a little awkward. I got a text the day they were supposed to come, but not the day they came. None of the communications I received indicated that the appointment was actually a 2-hour window, so when the person wasn't there exactly at 5 I started to get concerned.

Firstly, we are senior citizens. Shortly after leaving a return call request at Integrity Overhead Door's phone number listed on HomeAdvisor's recommended list, Ryan of Integrity called back within a few minutes. Responding to our urgency to get in our garage that would not open, he arrived within 30 minutes to assess the problem. Instead of opting to replace the complete housing, we agreed that completing the repair with a kit at a fraction of the cost of replacing the complete housing. He discovered the garage door spring that was installed in 2015 was not sufficiently adjusted and would not hold the weight of the door when lifted. The weight of the door could have come down on a car. Ryan tightened the spring, installed the door kit and the door now works like new. He charged a one hour trip charge of $70.00 and $70.00 (inc. tax) for a total of $140.00. Highly recommended!!!

Cutting down a very large tree - Omar stopped by. I knew just by talking with him that he knew his job very well. We came up with a fair price, he said next Thursday and he was on time. I said just drop the tree, we have a lot of land so I leave it for the termites and carpenter ants. They go for the fallen wood and leave my house alone. But Omar is the best no question. Thanks for your great company. I would not have found him.

Twice I have used Home Advisor. Both times, the subcontractors were high quality, timely, and reasonable. In the future, I certainly will start each project with a call to Home Advisor first. My projects were small but treated with importance by Home Advisor.

I run my own business and have little/no time for a clogged drain. On top of that my husband just had major surgery so I needed a quick fix at fair rate and that is what I got. The amount of time it took to look at HomeAdvisor and review 3 great local providers and then get a resolution was less than an hour... BIG WIN for me!

I would Like to say, I was impressed by this company's professionalism and work ethics. Ace Cooper (Owner), Derick **, and Christian ** provided first-rate service. I had received quotes from the High end to a low end of the spectrum. Accurate Asphalt was honest and fair from the start to finish. I was impressed by the fact that the owner and his foreman even pitched in with their workers to perform top notch service. That alone is something I find honorable, “Never ask someone to do what you yourself are not willing to do”. I without a doubt recommend this company and their employees.

House cleaning - Very hard worker. Fast, honest & reliable. It's hard to find someone you can trust. She is very fast and good at what she does. I would highly recommend her. I have been in this town 32 years. She is hard to come by.

The one thing I found frustrating was I was contacted by contractors that I simply viewed as well as the ones I requested.

Great service! Easy user interface. Straight forward questions to answer directing HomeAdvisor to search for the right type of contractors from which I was able to choose from. The entire process was easy to use from start to finish. Completely satisfied.

There were a number of incidences that would never have me use their service. It started from them talking me into purchasing a new door when only a small part would have resolved my issue to either not showing up for the install to showing up 3 hrs early! 3 Days after the install I incurred problems with the door opener where they told me that there will be a service charge! It was told to me that there was a full warranty for 3 years! I had asked for the owner to call me of which he never did! I had to get another company come to resolve the problem.

I have used Home Advisor before and I so far have had much success. Will continue to use them. They have provided good contacts for all of my projects. All the contractors have been pleasant and on time. I have a very busy day with contractors but I used almost all of my contacts from Home Advisor.

Well tank and switch replacement - I got great help in finding a professional who was available. We had no running water, and so we wanted help fast. She was courteous, easy to understand, and communicated clearly. She got me connected with the right person right away.

Service was almost too good. My only "complaint" is that within minutes I had received calls from three separate companies. It's hard to think straight during the barrage of calls, follow-up calls, text messages and emails. Otherwise, everything was great and I had my issue solved within a couple hours.

I went on to HomeAdvisor to find an electrician. It was easy and quick. They recommended a contractor that performed the work at the agreed upon price on time and they showed up when they said they would. I will use this service again.

Referral of Redwood Insulation - I did not like having to go thru the sign up but understand it. Hopefully others looking for a good contractor will find this referral valuable. I would use this service to evaluate future contractors.

I had several shingles come off my 3rd floor roof during a bad wind storm. The service tech matched up the existing shingles, repaired the roof, and then cleaned up all the debris. Even cleaned up some nails that had fallen into the yard. I will definitely use him again.

Easy to request service. Within 2 minutes my phone was ringing! Only one company was able to help us right away and THEY DELIVERED! Very professional and would highly recommend. I tried finding someone on my own and had no luck. Thank you Home Advisor! Will definitely use again!

Be careful using HomeAdvisor unless you enjoy being annoyed with lots of pointless calls that both waste your time and the time of contractors. I wanted to get some bids for work needed on a property in Arizona. However, I live in California. Apparently when I entered my information in HomeAdvisor they used my IP address to determine my location rather than the location information I entered.

Removed old plantings in back yard. Added good soil and rototilled the entire area. Added a new drip system and ambient lighting, Added a new solid surface to grill area and potting table. Cleaned up completely when work was finished.

My sewer line backed up into my basement. I had tree roots growing in the line. My online request to HomeAdvisor and the response time for the plumber to call me to make an appointment for the estimate was about 15-20 minutes. He actually estimated the job over the phone and stuck to his estimate which was several hundred dollars less than other companies I called. He was fast and efficient, and clean. I'd call him again without hesitation.

Looked at many contractors, decided to look at HomeAdvisor. Contractor I decided on had positive responses and the responses I read were in line with what I was looking for. Will look at Home Advisor in the future for sure.

When my washing machine broke down I was at a loss. I found using HomeAdvisor was a quick and easy way to find a repairman. I was contacted immediately and the repair company was prompt and proficient. I was very satisfied. HomeAdvisor came to the rescue!

This website referred me to the same contractor 3 times, showing a map with them at 3 different locations. Before I could finish reading the results for insulation contractors, the phone rang. I live 20 minutes from Chattanooga and this man comes from over an hour away. The site immediately sends 3 "estimates" of job based on minimal input from me as to scope of job. Then, when called, the customer service sent me another contractor name in Chattanooga, but the number was not in working order. Something bogus about this, so follow the money. Contractors pay for any leads they get. So, what is HA incentive to turn anyone down? I do not trust this site to adequately screen contractors and would not recommend them to anyone, I have wasted an hour this AM on very little credible referrals.

I have used HomeAdvisors for many projects at my home and they seem to be great. As a homeowner the reviews are very important to me. I read them and weed out the people who are angry about something vs the people that had a good experience. I wish there was a rating system that HA could provide in addition to the reviews.

I feel safe to use HomeAdvisor, as the companies that usually come through them are reliable, tried and tested, and you are able to read reviews online before hiring a company. Response time is great, and usually reasonable. We have done about 3 odd projects with them and have never been disappointed.

Were very professional from first meeting to completed job. They worked hard and efficiently to remove large tree, grind down stump and roots, hauled all debris away and left area looking neat and clean. Reasonably priced. A true blessing to work with such professionals.

Hired Jason **. He called with in an hour of my inquiry on HomeAdvisor. I was very surprised by Jason calling so quickly after my online inquiry. Jason is very professional. I talked to Jason on Friday and he was at my home on Saturday morning to spray and fertilize my yard.

This is the second time that I’ve used HomeAdvisor. In both instances, at least one contractor responded within two hours of my posting. The contractors that we selected were highly professional, courteous, and quite competent. HomeAdvisor takes a out of guesswork out of the selection process.

Greg removed old damaged sheetrock, replaced with new board, taped, Spackled and sanded ceiling, then primed and painted bathroom ceiling. He also installed light fixtures and changed an old light switch. He was very professional, and I look forward to hiring him again to remove a section of kitchen wall.

He explained what he planned to do, as well as what he could not do because of the snow that we have on the ground today. After his exterior work, he told me about what he had found. I told him that I had found a wasp nest on the 2nd floor balcony, and had sprayed it last year. He came up and removed it for us. Danny was very professional, but he was also super-cool to talk to about hobbies, our cat, and all sorts of other stuff. We enjoyed chatting with him! I've used Home Advisor more than once. After filling the info needed I've received phone calls right away. Very surprised that the people I was looking for called so fast. That is one of the reasons I keep using Home Advisor.

Replacement Doors - I was extremely happy with this service. I was directed to a licensed professional who got back to me in a very timely manner, completed the job within a week of my receiving the estimate, and was very easy to work with. I will definitely use HomeAdvisor for my next contracting job.

Needed snow removal. It was Sunday and I really didn’t think I would be connected to a representative, but I was. The person was very nice, courteous and professional. She explained what the next step was and in a little, I received a call from the contractor. I am very pleased with Home Advisor, and have recommended them to others.

I used HomeAdvisor to recommend a tree removal service. They recommended Shiloh Land Management. Todd contacted me early the next day and we arranged a meeting time to view the trees to remove. He was on time and provided a quote the next day as promised. His pricing was unbeatable. We agreed on a date and time for removal and they showed up at exactly the time agreed to. By the end of the day, the two monstrous trees were gone. They cleaned up as if they had not been there. I would highly recommend their service based on my experience.

Tile and grout cleaning - I was contacted by Grout Busters right away. Scheduled an appointment for an estimate. Accepted the estimate the same day and the work was performed the following day. I really like how quickly it all flowed. I was very happy with the recommendation plus a couple additional should I have needed a second bid.

They came out same day, replaced our broken spring at a very reasonable price. Nice people, good job!! Another company came out earlier. Had given us an est of $279.00 over the phone but wanted to charge us $530! We sent them away. This company that came out same day charged us $270. Big difference.

HomeAdvisor needs to check out companies before putting their name out. 3 Day Remolding are cheating people, and not doing the jobs that they get contracts on and then telling the customer they are broke and can't do the job or return their money. Do a better job HomeAdvisor.

As the secretary for my husband's part-time construction company I signed him up for the HomeAdvisor Pro app. When he got home he called and signed up for their advertising-the Agent made sure to let my husband know we were going to be charged the annual fee of roughly 200 and that we would be charged a fee for every lead we took, that Home Advisor Pro got us. What the agent failed to mention that if we even accepted (that means listen to or try to connect with a person through them to see what job they wanted done) we would be charged for it every single time (even if we didn't get the job or accept the job offer), insert here a 400 charge before we even realized it.

I have been pleased with the choices they offered and I have been pleased with the selections I have made. I feel confident that the vendors are reliable because of the screening they have to go through.

Vinyl Repair - I had heavy winds that ripped off my siding over the garage door. I found M & M Construction on their site, saw that that they were close to where I lived, and they did a wonder job. I found all the pieces that were ripped off and they repaired it like new.

Landscape Design and Installation - A couple companies never called. I ended up getting estimates from three. The one I initially chose because I liked his design was a very poor communicator and a little short with me. He emailed me the morning he was supposed to be here and said he'd pulled a muscle the day before and couldn't make it. Since I had not heard from him in several days and had sent him an email confirming the date, I expected he would have called me the day he pulled the muscle instead of the day after. But in retrospect, I was more pleased with the people I hired (T&M Landscaping); they were better communicators, reliable, and while they charged a bit more, it was absolutely worth it.

Same day apt., polite and on time technician... identified issues quickly and proposed solution... follow up work next day... more than pleased with the results. AC needed maintenance but duct were problematic. Home Advisor recommends top people who have been reviewed by others and are completely reliable... excellent service.

Repairs on exterior trim of House - The Experience overall was good except I had two handyman that one did not show up for appointment and the other came out but took a week to get me a price on the job. The one I hired responded quickly and we got the job quoted and done in a short period of time.

They came the next day at the appointed time and did the repair work promptly and efficiently. The cost was reasonable and I am very pleased with the entire experience. I did email another service provider company and they did not call me back until 3 hours after the work had been completed.

Contractor removed existing sod with sod cutter, dug holes for irrigation system along with connecting with the water main (for my property), ran conduit for power and control of sprinklers and installed RainBird Panel (which plugs into AC). I did have to get a different outdoor Bubble receptacle cover.

We were very pleased with the service person. He was on-time, knowledgeable, and fair with pricing. We had a couple of conflicts with work and we connected on the phone several times to be accommodating with our schedules. My only dislike of using HomeAdvisor was that some of the contacts that reached out were overly pushy and disingenuous. One company contacted me with a very high quote and when I said I would get back to him he insisted I wouldn't find anyone who would do it cheaper. But overall, what a great way to find local help and supporting small businesses in my area.

One service person did a great job, the other two were terrible. One did a bait and switch, then the following year when I had a problem with the new gate he installed, he emailed me back he was out of business. The third person they recommended for a third project had follow-through. Terrible. I am now using Checkbook for Puget Sound and very happy. I pay a small subscription price. HomeAdvisor charged the man who did a great job wall guy a $90 fee for the lead. I was not happy to hear that and will not participate in a company that gauges small local business people.
