    On 9/5/2019, our contract began with HSC, and so did our troubles. On 9/9 or 9/10, I placed a simple door re-keying claim. After two weeks of going back and forth on a simple claim, they sent a vendor out to do the re-keying. The vendor then charged us a full amount, telling me that I need to claim it from HSC, which is what their process is. Given that the vendor was sent by HSC and that it had already taken two weeks to get someone out, and not to mention it was already after hours and no one picked up when I called at HSC to confirm this, I agreed to pay the Locksmith upfront.

    The following business day, I spoke to the HSC agent and requested reimbursement. This resulted in back and forth with no result. On 9/28/2019, I placed a request for cancellation of my contract with HSC, however because they processed the cancellation on 10/8/2019, they refunded a prorated amount. Total refund should of been $500, however they refunded back $414, claiming that we cancelled on 10/8/2019, and therefore subjected a prorated refund. Per the contract, if we cancel within 30 days, we should receive the full amount paid. This is a very dishonest, and unorganized business and I don't recommend them to anyone.

We would have liked it if the technician been able to give us the information sooner, however, due to a family emergency he was not able to do so.     My experience with Home Service Club has been great. I’ve called them severally this year for different issues and they always responded. Recently, I had them out to clear a blockage in my shower drain. The tech arrived within the scheduled window and took care of the work.

    HSC reps was good. They were able to answer all my concerns, so as the repair man sent 2 days after my phone call with the rep. He was very skillful and professional handling the problem with my heater. I'm impressed!

    I’ve used them for 2 years and filing a claim has always been easy. Recently, the coil in my main furnace unit broke, and had to be replaced. I filed a claim online and was expecting to hear from their plumber ASAP but No I didn’t. 2 days later I called them and was able to talk to their rep who confirmed my claim was filed and that they will send a contractor over. It took another 2 days before I heard from their contractor. He came over the following day, had a look and promised to return soon as the part is ordered. He came back a week later when the part arrived and he fixed it within an hour. It felt good to see my A/C running again :). Overall, the job was completed within 2 weeks from my initial call. My only issue was that they didn’t assign a contractor quick enough else the work would have been done within fewer days.

    Since my initial review HSC has contacted me (more than did when I was having my problems). The issue of my refrigerator was resolved working with Sophie. She was very helpful, and the company actually offered me a few options to resolve my issue and have me return as a customer. I am very happy with their response to my complaint, and the resolution given.

    Original Review: Oct. 17, 2019

    I had HSC Home Warranty for 4 years. The first 3 years were fine, had the stove fixed, and the washing machine twice - no problem. This year - filed for an electrical outage on one entire wall, took 3 mos for them to get an electrician who would work with them, finally got the problem fixed. Called the electrician about 3 mos later for another unrelated thing and he told me he had not been paid by the company (I paid about $400 out of pocket, their portion was only about $250). So now I couldn't work with a very good repair company (good electricians are hard to find!).

    Next, AC went out. Again took about 3 weeks for them to find a technician. When the technician comes out we can't get a hold of anyone at the company to see if the services are covered. I end up paying him the $125 deductible service fee just to clean and summarize the unit and sending him on his way because I couldn't get approval for his suggested repair.

    #3 Refrigerator goes out after a power outage (yes, it was a bad year. :( I am without a refrigerator FOR A MONTH. I get the repair guy out to give HSC the repair estimate and hear nothing (this time I had to find a repair guy myself). I finally just BOUGHT a new refrigerator for $1100 (repair guy said it would be best with fridge that age and half cost of new one just for repair). HSC offers me $200 (not even the $540 for the repair) AS A CREDIT TO MY MONTHLY PREMIUMS?!?! Is this even legal? I have never heard of this with an insurance/warranty company. I kept calling on all three claims and no one would ever call back, they would never even email me with any information on my claims, and they would keep telling me the were "putting a note in the file" about my issues when I would get a hold of someone.

    The last rep I spoke with about the fridge specifically told me she would put in the request to have a check (yep, in the mail) sent to me for the refrigerator. When I called the next time to check on all 3 issues (AC guy had not been followed up with 1 month later, they were putting a *note in the file* to follow up) the rep told me they had put it in the mail on 9/9. When I called finally to cancel they said they had applied the $200 to the account premium credit (is this even legal??). I cancelled my account but they said I would have to forgo the $220 for my refrigerator because my contract had just renewed literally with my last payment in August. I was so mad I told them to keep the check, but I just checked and I actually started my account in March of 2015 - so even that was a lie.

    They were great the first 3 years, would have thought I would get better treatment having been a loyal customer for 4 years hardly even using the service. As a single woman homeowner with children I depend on having the warranty so I don't get cheated and overcharged for repairs - I have never felt more sad, angry and helpless about a customer experience.

    A day after writing my initial review HSC finally paid the plumbing company that we contracted. They offered a free service fee for the next time we use their services. I give the lady credit who tried to resolve the issue, she (Sophia) is really nice wish all their customer service rep have her good phone skills demeanor, note that I give this 4 stars review to her, but not with the way this company HSC initially handled our transaction.

    We made a claim with them late February 2019, they approved the claim and they still hasn't paid 8 months later. The plumbing company that we contracted has been trying to collect from us since then, and they said they could not get a hold of this HSC company themselves. The first 5 months in trying to get them to pay the plumbing company, they said the claim amount was off by 20 cents that is why they are not paying them, really!!! So the claim amount was corrected and 3 months later, they are still not paying as I'm writing this review and it has been 8 months! I very much doubt this company, and the reviews here with 4-5 stars I personally do not believe in, based on my personal experience with them.

    I called Home Service Club when I noticed a leak coming from inside the walls in the hall bathroom. I called over 6 times and could not talk to anyone. I called them the following day and was able to talk to someone and file a claim. Their contractor came over the next day and figured out the leaking was caused by not having silicon sealing the vanity at the wall and when in use water was running down the back of the vanity. Needless to say I was very happy with this outcome. The Contractor did a perfect job and for several days I haven’t noticed any leakage. Although I wasn’t happy I didn’t talk to anyone the first day I called.

    Home Service Club came to save us from our flooding kitchen sink. Last week, our kitchen sink got clogged and water started to come up from the drain, leaking to the floor through our dishwasher. Thankfully, our warranty was still active. We called Home Service Club to file a claim but we never got hold of them for several hours. We finally got them in the evening and they assured us a plumber will be out the following day. The Plumber called us same evening and helped us first stop the water coming up from the drain--by telling us it was due to our upstairs neighbors using the water, which we were then quick to tell them to stop. He came the following morning and sucked up the standing water in the sink and drain, and then used a snake to clear the clog. It was a huge relief to have a working drain again. He was professional, friendly, and exceedingly efficient.

    Nothing but good things to say about this company so far. My AC wasn't keeping the house cool anymore. It was blowing cold, but just not enough. I filed a claim and their technician was out in 3 days and found out that the return duct had collapsed and need to be replaced. If not for my warranty with HSC, I would have been worried considering how tight the attic was in my house. The Tech came back 2 days later to replace the return duct. My AC is working perfectly now. The only issue I had was that they did not respond fast enough.

My Microwave broke down totally and the repairer Home service club sent could not fix it, so he recommended they replace it. I was a little disappointed that they did not replace it with the same brand rather they replaced it with another brand. But they did a good Job.

    I had a toilet that clogged several times and I called to have it professionally handled. Their plumber called me 2 days later and we had an appointment. They thought they had it handled the first trip, but I had to call again in three days. They replaced the toilet and I’ve had no problems since.     Our air conditioner was making awful noises. I filed a claim and Home Service Club dispatched a local HVAC company to come handle our issue. The contractor came 2 days after to make a recommendation. We had to wait for a fan to come in and he was back promptly to install it. I had no problems, was very happy with the professionalism of Home Service Club and the air conditioning man they sent. It was well worth the service fee to get it taken care of quickly. We put up our for sale and it was important that we got it going dependably.

    Filed a Claim for my Polaris Pool Sweep Pump. It was leaking terribly. Home Service Club assigned a contractor who followed up via email with an appointment day and time. The day didn't work for me so I called the contractor and left a message. 6 calls and messages later still no response. I Contacted Home Service Club who said they reached the contractor who would contact me. Nope, never heard from them and no record of the company anywhere. Home Service Club reassigned another contractor who was out the next day and essentially replaced some parts. Great start and ending, not so good middle events.

    This is the worst experience that I had. I have a plumbing issue for the last two months. Initially they said supervisor will follow. Supervisor called me two weeks back but no follow up after that. She’s not responding to my calls or emails either. When I call the regular customer care they said that it may not be covered even though I was told it would be covered previously. I hope this issue will be taken care of soon and I hope I don’t have to report a consumer protection court. I would not recommend this product to anyone.

    So I purchased a home in June and it came with the Home Service club warranty. On September 11th I contacted them that my washing machine was leaking. It is now September 30th and they still haven't done anything about it. I have contacted them multiple times, each time they come up with something additional that they need. So far I have sent pictures, the model number, the serial number, and then today I sent a copy of the home inspection report that all of a sudden they just decided they needed. I asked them to either fix or or give me a replacement or even just refund me the $650 for the service. They said most recently if it's over 5 years they don't want to fix it. So today I still have no resolution. This company appears to just want to take your money for a contract that they will not actually follow through with.

    Had a service call in early July: It is almost October and they will not call me back. We followed all procedures, filled out the paperwork, and are waiting for a rep to approve our new dishwasher...since August 2019. I call the help desk and they "make a note" of my call. Incredibly frustrating that they will not even call us back. We paid up front and will call our credit card company to fight this service. We will also be submitting a complaint to the consumer protection board. If you notice reviews for the company are hidden.

    Late on a Tuesday night I came home to find that my water heater had sprung a leak into the drip pan in my attic and it was not producing hot water because the water covered the pilot light. I turned off the gas to the water heater that night to stop a potential gas leak. First thing Wednesday morning I called Home Service Club, the representative was very friendly but she said they didn’t have any openings till the next day. She said she would put the call on standby and if an appointment opened up a technician would be out that same day.

    After hanging up she called right back and said they could get me on between 2-6. The technician called before arriving at about 4 o clock. He assessed the water heater and said it needed to be replaced, which was covered under my warranty. I only needed to pay the $95 deductible, then two technicians would come back the next day, Thursday, to install the new water heater. This was my first service call to HSC. So far so good. I would recommend this company to my family and friends.

    My home is fairly new about 5 years old. Even with that, my fridge is older and I have had my heat and AC act up a bit. Home Service Club has covered both Claims. Just last week, the ice-maker in my fridge was replaced and is finally working well. In January my heat wouldn't come on, they came same day since I have small kids in the home the tech was able to get the heater working for the meantime. He ordered some parts and was back later that week to install and the unit is as good as new. The service I got in January was the best I’ve ever had from them.

    I have been with home service club for 3 years. For now I have no complaints about them. They have taken care of everything I have called them about within few days. I had a problem with my microwave; it was approximately 9 years old, The tech determined it could not be repaired so they replaced it. It just cost me the $95 deductible.

    Just recently I had an air conditioning issue. Now, they sent someone right away, unfortunately the noise was not taken care of, but the AC was still working (that wasn’t the issue.). Within a few days the line froze up into a block of ice on, I called and they couldn’t get someone until Wednesday as this was on Friday, which was understandable but I wasn’t really happy because it was over 90 degrees but what can you do? Unfortunately they sent the same repairman out, he didn’t really seem to know what to do and, again, didn’t fix anything but I felt made it worse or had no solutions.

    After a week of problems I called again and said I didn’t want the same person and they sent someone else who immediately knew what the issue was and it was taken care of within 30 minutes. I am very happy with the outcome and learned a lot from the second tech on what to do and not do in certain situations. Sometimes you just get someone who isn’t up to snuff but that’s not anyone’s fault, they slip through the cracks everywhere.

    We had a new disposal put in and the person who put it in didn't remove the piece that should come out so the water didn't drain out the bottom. The repairman knew what had happened right away and was able to fix it and also ran the dishwater to be sure that all was truly well and working.

    My microwave stopped working and I called Home Service Club to file a claim. Two days later their repairman came to service my microwave and after diagnosing the problem, he found out the coil was bad, he ordered a coil and the repair was complete in 5 days.

    It feels awkward going out of town out of town for a week and on the second day your wife tells you that the A/C is out. Well, I wasn't worried because I have a Home Warranty with Home Service Club. I filed my claim at noon and my A/C was fixed the next day before 4PM. For me, it was mandatory to have a home warranty because I knew that things are going to go wrong. My house was built in 2004 and several appliances had gone bad since I bought their service. I have already saved thousands of dollars by only having to pay a $95.00 service fee. These guys are worth it.

    I am a landlord. I got a few properties under the warranty. For over a month I could not get the customer service on the phone. Leaving them messages and they don't get back to me. I can't get a hold of anyone even to cancel my warranties and get my money back. I feel this system is deeper than the poor service. There is no way that this company has 4.7 score.     I've Had 2 claims sorted out by Home Service Club this year. In January this year, our hot water heater started to leak and I submitted the claim online and it was pretty easy. I called the next day to confirm if they received my claim and they affirmed and promised to act on my claim. A day later they I had a plumber at my home who fixed it perfectly. Just last week, our AC broke and with just one call to Home Service Club, we had a local contractor call and schedule an appointment. He came on time and had everything under control within the hour. It happened that the capacitor was bad and he had it already so he just replaced it. I'm Glad I don't have to worry about my appliances as I've got them covered.

    Home warranty... My well pump was not giving us water on Monday morning. Went and investigated on my own. The well pump switch on the pressure tank was not engaging. I could bypass it and get water but this is not a permanent fix so I contacted Home service Club. I did file the claim online but called to verify claimed was recorded. It was and my call was handled in a friendly and professional manner. On Thursday I had their contractor come over and did the repair. I got a working pump once more.

    I've going through a very horrible service. Please don't fall for this company. This is a SCAM! They threw all kinds of convincing words to take the money away from me. But, when I submitted a request for a fridge repair, they continue to sleep on it, despite my several repeated efforts in calling them. After several weeks, they finally sent the request over to a repair company. Now the repair company says that they're waiting for the approval from HSC warranty. Several weeks have gone by since the repair company came to take a look at what's wrong with the fridge. Whenever I call HSC warranty, they're not reachable. The only way to reach some one is calling the sales guy and leaving a voice mail in his work phone. They're simply not interested in extending warranty service and that's very clearly evident. Their website don't have any custom "service" aspect - only details to sell their product.

    Our washer malfunctioned and I asked my husband to check it. Upon checking it, he said it could be that the motor overheated so we better call HSC about this and we did. After submitting a claim online a contractor arrived a few hours later. And yes! My husband was correct with his diagnosis. The contractor repaired some of the components. For now the washer is working fine, hopefully this will not happen again in the future.

    Refrigerator malfunctioned a few days ago. Put in a claim online. Received notification that it was being processed. Someone called me to gather further information. A repairman was scheduled for a day later. He came by, checked on the refrigerator, took some notes, made a call and went to work. Refrigerator working perfectly now. The deductible payment seems like nothing in comparison to paying the regular price for such repair.

    Updated on 10/01/2019: On August 19, 2019 our air conditioner failed on the house we had recently purchased and under warranty by The Home Service Club. I submitted a complaint on this site and wanted to update the lack of progress being made by the Company. I used their contractor to replace a blower motor. Both the contractor and I called the company repeatedly and I also sent e-mails. They now say I did not get authorization from them for the repairs so they don't legally owe me anything. Let's see, I used their contractor and both the contractor and I called them and e-mailed them and they never responded so finally I told THEIR contractor to repair the broken AC unit for a total cost of $1,715 and of course I paid him in full as he did what was needed.

    We have had a hot summer of 114 degrees here and not having air conditioning for 17 days was a major problem for my family. I have sent by e-mail and by mail the full documentation of the repair and a detailed chronology. They refuse to do the right thing which is an apology for the way I was treated and reimbursing me the cost to get my AC unit working again. They also tried to claim that the unit had not been maintained properly which is not true. In the home inspection report the blower was given a good rating and the AC unit worked fine for 2 months before the blower motor failed. Thank you, Bruce.

    We received a year subscription to Home Service Plus when we bought our new house. Our first project was re-doing our floors, and we quickly realized that the fridge had been leaking and caused some pretty extensive water damage to the sub-flooring. Always wanting to be the optimist, I told my wife, "Good thing we had a home warranty!" We called in to make a claim, and they told us that they would have a technician out within 48 hours to check the leaking refrigerator. That was fine, because we had plenty of work to do on the floor.

    Four days later, we hadn't heard anything. "Maybe they're not counting the 48 hours over the weekend!" After calling them and waiting on hold for an hour, we are told that they were missing the property inspection report from when we purchased the home. We had a digital copy all ready, so immediately emailed it to them. We were not told in the original call that they needed it. Another week later, still nothing. "Maybe they've got something scheduled but just didn't let us know!" After waiting on hold again, they said that their contractors were all booked, but they should have someone out to our house within 2 days.

    Another week later we called to see why nothing had happened and couldn't get through to anyone. To be fair, we tried to use their "callback" feature, where instead of waiting on hold for 90 minutes, they call you back when it's your turn. Several times they kept calling back when my wife was in the middle of putting down our 1-year-old for naps. It's been very difficult to make a connection with someone who can actually help. "Don't worry, I'm sure they couldn't just keep ignoring us!"

    We called about our fridge at the end of July, and we're now in the first week of September. At this point our entire home has new flooring except for the kitchen, where everything is still torn out and the fridge has been sitting on old towels. For one month, I haven't been able to let my 1-year-old walk through the kitchen because we have a leaky fridge balanced on exposed sub-flooring. It doesn't seem to matter who we talk to our how we contact them, this company doesn't seem able or willing to follow through on providing the service that we have paid for.

    My HVAC broke down 4 weeks ago and have been getting the run around ever since. The technician came out week 1 and said it needed to be replaced. Week 2 insurance company called them to come back out and check the furnace. The Technician said it’s in perfect condition and doesn’t need to be replaced only the HVAC system. Week 3 the Warranty company is saying I have to replace both HVAC and Furnace with my single deductible coverage of 2k. However, My technician is saying it doesn’t need to be replaced. The warranty company is making excuses saying on one conversation the HVAC and furnace have be the same brand and then another conversation saying the technician said both have to be replaced.

    They are scamming me into replacing the entire system so it’s fully new and they won’t get another claim for the furnace because if they replace it all they only have to pay 2k (one coverage vs two) and I have to pay the rest! I do not need a new furnace. I only need an HVAC. Even the technician is stating this but they are scamming me into doing an entire system so they can get out of future deductibles. The technician clearly said the only thing that needs to be replaced is the HVAC. Be aware of this company. They are not looking out for the customer. They don’t return calls they give false contradicting statements. All I want is my HVAC working and they are giving me the run around!

    It was my first claim and they did not disappoint. My wall unit furnace/thermostat had stopped working and I didn’t hesitate to call Home Service Club to file my claim. The technician showed up 2 days later and Diagnosed the problem(s). He replaced faulty the wiring and thermostat, cleaned the furnace pilot light and was done within an hour of showing up. The technician was pleasant and professional and explained to me the issues as they were identified. Great Experience!

    I took the membership of company for three years for appliances. Unfortunately our AC broke down and the technician they sent recommended replacement. After three weeks continuous follow up what and when they are going to do anything? They have a team who decides what to do or not. After long chase One Mr. ** told me that, "The company won't be able to replace or repair the AC since it costs about $8000, as a goodwill gesture we will give $800 for the new one to be replaced. Rest you will bear the cost. Thank you very much." I had to cancel the contract. It is very difficult to talk to their customer care. No one responds.

    The Home Service Club replaced our outside condenser and evaporator coil a year ago. I had a decent experience with the HSC for that replacement (repaired around 1 week after it stopped working). This time around, I am having nothing but issues. Our AC went out 11 days ago. It took 2 days for a contractor to come look at the system on a Friday evening (after I tracked down who HSC had assigned to the claim and called them out). The contractor had not even received the service order by Monday afternoon when I followed up with them and HSC regarding the status of the claim.

    By Tuesday, with my assistance, HSC finally got the diagnosis from the contractor. I am still awaiting status on what HSC is going to do for the repair. I called a few times last week and now the following Monday I have called multiple times today and each time been on the phone so long that the hotline times out and says no one is available. I have two toddlers in the middle of the summer heat here in Louisiana and the lack of communication and seriously frustrating. Contract **.

    Do NOT believe the other reviews. I purchased my home in January, come July I had a problem with my AC. After about a month I got response they would not cover my repairs "due to pre-existing issues". I filed a second claim during that time on our second AC unit and same response. I still had to pay a deductible twice that did not go towards my repairs and I still had to cover repairs on my own so they actually cost me more money. They covered nothing! After doing research I found that MANY others has the same response as I did. "Pre-existing issues." Stay away from them and sister company Axiom.

    I purchased a Home warranty for a year in March of this year. I paid with my credit card and they sent me a contract via email and I saved the information and all seems fine and dandy. Last week my dishwasher broke down and I called for service. When I reached customer service they said I do not have a contract and I'm not a customer. I gave them the contract number I had from the contract email I had and they said it does not belong to me but to someone. To make a long story shot they finally found out that my contract was not finalized by the sale guy by the name of James ** when he executed it. However when I tried to tell them who did it and they said the guy is no longer with them and they are not responsible for something that happened six months ago.

    Then they try to sell me another contract with a waiting period of one month and I will not be able to claim my dishwasher repair because they consider it as a broken appliance prior to the contract. I went really livid as it was their salesperson that screwed up my contract which I did not know and they now are not taking any responsibility of it. Also their claims are not 24x7 and from 8:00AM to 4:00PM Eastern which is outrageous when trying to setup a service call. Caveat Emptor. That is all I will say..

    I bought a new contract with HSC after reading reviews and checking references. Was I wrong! I filed a claim online the morning of July 23. I checked 24 hours later and was told I would be contacted within 24 hours. Since then I have spent hours waiting on hold, left voicemail messages and callback numbers. After finding a supervisor I had one callback to tell me they would callback by 7:00pm on the 29th with an update. It is now 8 days and no further callback, I waited on hold tonight for 38 minutes only to get a message that the office has now closed. It is for a simple washing machine repair in the Chicago metro area that should have many choice of repair technicians for a home warranty company. Tomorrow I will pursue cancellation of my contract.

    Had my yearly boiler checkup. Technician was very knowledgeable and shared his advice freely. Also on time and super friendly. He gave me a heads up on a part that might need replacement soon.     I love my warranty! When my heater would not start recently, I hopped online and put in a claim for service. The contractor called on his way and jumped right in when he arrived. It was a bad pilot light, which he replaced. We are warm and cozy now!

    Tech was early, pleasant & skilled. Loved getting a text message letting me know he was on his way to my house. Anyone who has an old home knows what a nightmare it can be if your boiler breaks down. Finding someone to fix it and the cost of fixing it is ridiculous! We have had to have repairs in the past, HSC took care of it. Peace of mind, well worth the investment to the plan!

    I've had Home Service Club for a few months now, and can only say positive things about them. Their AC service is definitely worth the low monthly fee which includes an annual check up.     I had a leaking faucet in my kitchen and started to call a plumber. I couldn’t get ahold of the one I was familiar with. I forgot about my Home Service Club coverage.     My garage door has been broken for three days. I cannot get anyone to answer the phone. Just out of curiosity, I called the sales number. Not surprisingly, that was immediately connected. They have no problem taking calls to sell this horrible service, but they will not help you when you need them. I tried to go through the website. I have never used it before. When I prompt the site to email my log in information, it sends me to the sales page and does not email information. This is a terrible company. It is now Saturday and they are closed. If I had a plumbing or AC problem, I would really be in a bind.

    Quick summary of events: 2016, I purchased a policy with HSC Warranty in connection with the purchase of a new home. In 2017, I replaced the HVAC through HSC Warranty. In their confirmation email, HSC promised me a specified system with “properly” matching components. Fast forward to 2019, pools of water was forming in my laundry/HVAC room. I contacted a non-HSC affiliated company to inspect, and to my surprise (and disappointment), nothing that was promised by HSC Warranty was actually installed. In fact, I was promised a 2 ton HVAC system, but tech revealed that I have a 4 ton system, with 3 ton supporting elements, hence the massive condensation buildup.

    I contacted HSC Warranty to explain this issue, only to be told essentially, there’s nothing that they (are willing) to do, emphasis added. It appears that despite their claim to having prescreened, quality contractors, ethics apparently isn’t something that they consider. The tech used to install the equipment allegedly picked up what HSC Warranty purchased but chose to install a completely different equipment. HSC Warranty believes that it is the customer’s responsibility, not theirs, to hold those “prescreened” vendors accountable for delivering what we’ve paid. One of the worst experiences that I’ve ever had. Avoid this company at all costs if you are truly looking for a responsible, quality partner to help you avoid costly mistakes.

    I set an appointment at 3pm to get my furnace fixed. HSC promised to send the repair guy at exactly that time or else I'll miss my lawyer appointment for my divorce. They must have told the tech because he arrived 30 minutes early! It didn't take long for him to fix my unit too so I really did make it to my appointment. Thanks a plenty!

    HSC is very convenient and helpful. They help me look for a repair company best suited to fix my home theater system. Recently got my system upgraded last week and I was worried I'd have to miss work but since I've partnered with HSC, never had to do that again! Sometimes, you just need a hand with things.     I did a good amount of research on home warranty services. I learned that they service many home appliances and systems when they fail. I found that The Home Service Club was one of the better companies to work with. I have used them once so far, when I had issues with my air conditioning system.     I was told when I bought my warranty that everything was covered. When I made my first claim it was rejected. My hot water tank then broke. They sent a plumbing company that they did not partner with and the plumbing company charged me $125 and did not fix the issue. I have had no water for an entire week. HSC has since contacted 2 additional plumbing companies and tried to send them out. The same thing happened, they did not partner with HSC and wanted to charge me to fix it. I've called repeatedly for a week and no one from HSC will call me back.

    I've asked to talk to a manager and no one has returned my call. The sales rep that sold me the service won't pick up or return my call. I've resorted to calling a plumbing company myself to fix the issue and pay out of pocket. Terrible experience and would not recommend. You can't communicate with anyone and in the event of a real emergency they will not assist and will take every step to get out of their warranty. About to issue a BBB claim to get a refund for my contract value.

    We've been experiencing slow water pressure upstairs in our house for the past few days. Gave a ring to The Home Service Club to have it checked and diagnosed.     The AC unit at home was malfunctioning. Part was not giving cool air and the other parts did not have did not distribute it properly.     Suddenly, I heard a loud pop sound coming from the attic. Had to check it out soon and found a leaking exhaust pipe. I was about to take a bath and the water just gave up. Submitted a claim immediately to the Home Service Club. Excellent job by the repair guys they sent. Fixed my piping ASAP. Although it took a few days since they really had to work on it properly, still they did a great job.

    Had my new oven delivered today. It's the first time I got a replacement instead of a repair and I thought it would cost me more but it actually saved me a lot of money. I am happy with my new unit and I can't believe HSC shouldered the whole thing. Hassle-free and sincere service was what I can say that I have experienced.

    I haven’t had a single thing to complain about yet. I had my oven fixed then next was my bathtub for a really cheap price! Customer service rep was always super nice during claims are being filed. I have the feeling that these staff are well-trained and skilled.

    We’ve had nothing but trouble with this company. How is anyone even getting service? I think there are only 4 people working there and the hold times are insane. Yes, you can submit a claim online 24/7, but if it isn’t between weekday business hours, you won’t be getting service until Monday anyway. Their service is really 8/5. We’ve filed 2 claims. The first for our AC when the temperature outside was over 100 degrees. We filed the claim on a Friday afternoon, but their east coast offices had already closed. We filed online as our sales guy told us there were emergency services available for these types of situations. There are not.

    On Monday after holding for maybe 40 minutes, someone finally answered. They said our case was actively being worked on. We didn’t have a service tech out to look until Wednesday. Then there was a part to order, but that was delayed because the service tech needed approval and, well, HSC doesn’t answer the phone for its technicians either. So on Friday, one week to the day the AC went out, it was finally back on. But our Freon was low and the tech said he couldn’t fix it without another service fee. Seems like they should be able to fix the entire problem at once. I called, spoke to the same person who always answers when I call (seriously, I’m sure there are only a handful of employees, which is a red flag). No one called back. Of course.

    Now, our pool needs a repair. We paid extra for our pool to be covered. I called last Tuesday. Today is Wednesday a week later, and a service company still hasn’t been assigned. After multiple calls with hold times of more than 15 minutes that ended with the system forcing me to leave a message or be disconnected and calls in which I pressed a number to “hold my place in line and get a call back when it is my turn,” I never spoke to a single person. No calls back. I tried online chat, was transferred and promptly disconnected when I mentioned I had issues.

    Finally, I called today to cancel and have my money refunded, spoke to a new person who told me he’d submit my request for cancellation. He told me he couldn’t tell me if I’d receive a refund as that is the cancellation department’s job and they don’t have phones!! This is either not a legitimate operation, they don’t actually offer service in my market, or I’ve just had the worst possible string of bad luck with this company. In any case, buyer beware!

    Home Service Club was a company that was suggested to me when I bought my first house to fix and flip. My friends said it would be good selling feature to have when I put it the house on the market. The policy can be transferred to new owners, which was a plus.

    I keep a chest freezer in the garage and when I went out there the other day, it was not very cold. I quickly got online and put in for service and they sent someone to fix it.     The three-month-old ceiling fan suddenly stopped working. I called the Home Service Club and a repairman came out to look at it. I can't tell you exactly what was wrong with it, or what he did to it, but the fan was working again in no time.

    During the first load of laundry from the kids visit home the washer was leaking. Great, not what I needed. I called The Home Service Club and the technician found the problem to be a bad tub seal. He explained that replacing the washer was the better way to go. Before the day was out, with a new washer running, most of the laundry was done.

    We do chores at home and sometimes I get to do the laundry. On the day I was supposed to do the laundry, the washing machine and dryer went bad. Just the perfect timing.     We had a leaking problem. We had visitors on the same day it happened. So I was very worried. Tried fixing it, but was not successful. So I filed immediately a claim to the home service club. We wanted service guys to be sent on the same day but I already called late in the afternoon. But early the next day, a fellow came and fixed the leaking in just an hour. Very satisfied.

    The compressor of our air conditioner unit sounded off. We had to file a claim to had it checked/repaired. Good thing we did it since the tech guy said there was really an issue in our AC unit. If it was not prevented, it could have persisted and led to a major problem. Thanks so much HSC.

    My neighbor recommended HSC to me and I did sign up for a warranty. When my AC just died one afternoon, I called them for service since it was covered under my warranty.     We have a separate dryer and washing machine. Both of them broke down almost simultaneously. Just a few days apart, the dryer broke down last.     First it was our oven then our garage door opener that these guys fixed. The contractors that came were friendly and informative on how the garage door opener works. He said that it was broken. For the oven, the other contractor was also friendly. The repairs for these took around less than hour. Everything's fine since then.

    Our HVAC went out three weeks ago. It took them two weeks to get a contractor out here. Over 60 phone calls and a threat of a lawyer. Once the contractor came out and diagnosed the problem he sent his recommendations to HSC. A week later nothing has been done. Every time we call they say “We will escalate the issue for you”. Which means nothing. We have been suffering through a Georgia heat wave with four children and no ac. Our fridge and tv and other electronics are struggling because of the heat. I have a feeling we are going to have to replace all of those shortly.

    We are just chasing our tails with these people. We have paid them diligently since 2012. Recently we had a plumbing issue and they didn’t get someone out to us. So after two weeks without indoor plumbing we ended up paying $1000 out of pocket because our family needed to be able to flush toilets and take showers. Meanwhile when we needed our fridge fixed they were here in four days. They are fine with the small stuff where your deductible cost more than the service call. But good luck getting anything big done. BUYER BEWARE!

There was even one who afterwards made a follow up phone call just to check. After the contractor completed the job, the rep still called back. Recently, there was a leak in our house.     We had a great experience when our oven wasn't heating. Customer service helped us keep calm from the beginning. The repair guy put a new element in and the oven heated up fast, and still does. Very satisfied with everything at this point.

    In the past few years Home Service Club has replaced my built-in microwave and repaired the dishwasher. There has never been any issues in dealing with my warranty plan. I am always recommending them anytime someone mentions repairs and wanting to save money.

    Love the job they've done to my house. Truly worth every buck. First, the reps are so courteous and helpful. Second, the contractors are swift and prompt in working. Really efficient guys. Lastly, they won't let you down and even try to have a follow-up to just check on you.

    My parents instilled in our minds to really take care of the house. I suggested to get a house warranty so that we could really maintain and preserve it. After researching, I came up with the decision to choose The Home Service Club. SO GLAD I chose them. Our house was really taken cared of and their reps are pretty amazing.
