    They were recommended to me by my cousin. They did a pretty good job in his house. Since he was impressed, he highly recommended that I get them too since at that time, I was planning to buy a condo unit. Good thing I got them! Really helped me a lot.

    One day, our washing machine gave up on us. Usually it could handle loads of clothing at once but now it could only handle two pieces. Submitted a claim to HSC. A tech guy came and repaired our unit. Thankfully, he fixed it in a couple of hours! Laundry day starts again tomorrow.

    While I was in the bathroom, I noticed that one of the exhaust fans made a ticking sound. It was kinda weird coz it doesn't make that sound. Checked the other fans, but they were working well. Called the Home Service Club for them to check what happened. Submitted a claim and a tech guy came the next day. He checked and observed the fan, he just adjusted some parts and voila! The ticking sound went away. Thanks so much HSC!

    We were having a pest problem at home and decided to have a home warranty. We chose HSC since it was highly recommended by our relatives. They really did an amazing job. Went straight to the problem. Now I know why they were recommended by many.

    Had a bad time with my toilet not flushing and a drain clogged. Called HSC and immediately dispatched a service guy who did a good job and was able to fix my concerns. He went straight and fixed it, no confusion with what he needed to do.

    Noticed one day that it felt pretty warm and muggy at home. I observed that there was something wrong with the AC. The contractor came after a day I submitted a claim. He fixed the unit and did a good job.

    When I was outside our house I noticed that there was smoke coming out our air conditioner unit. The fans were not running but I could smell something burnt. Immediately, I submitted a claim with HSC. The rep was really good and calmed me pretty well. Contractor was sent and fixed the unit. Thanks a lot HSC.

    There was a leak in our sink and we could not tell if it was a pipe or the garbage disposal. Called HSC and submitted a claim. This happened on a Wednesday before Thanksgiving and the company came out on Monday so it was not bad at all. Moreover, the contractor who came was very nice and he had the garbage disposal fixed. So far since then, everything is working well. Given that, would really recommend them to friend and family.

    Our electronic water heater stopped working and tripped the breaker. Called Home Service Club and submitted a claim. The reps were really nice. A contractor came and fixed the filament. So far I'm having a great experience with Home Service Club. If ever I'm going to buy a new house, I would still choose them to make sure everything's okay.

    The garage door kept on closing and opening without anybody controlling. We thought there was a ghost. Figured out that the switch/system was malfunctioning. I called HSC and they sent out a tech guy to troubleshoot it. Amazed at how well he worked it. Great job, HSC!

    Since we are many at home, laundry is always done every other day. Our washing machine gave up on us one day due to heavy usage.     My father-in-law was the one who really convinced me to get a home warranty. Good thing I listened to him. Had some appliances that were breaking down so I had to submit a claim. Really lovely. The guys they sent are very decent and courteous. Love the experience.

    We got home from vacation to find water in the basement, the hot water tank was shot. We made a call and once the tech saw it, he agreed that it was done. A new one was installed the next morning with no hassle at all.

    I think I'm just not lucky with home appliances. That's why I got The Home Service Club as a "first aid" for everything. Every now and then, some of my appliances and home systems break down so I call them right away. Such lifesavers!

    My parents bought a fairly new house with a swimming pool. However, it the pump/motor would not work. I really couldn't understand 'cause it was very technical. So good thing we had the HSC as the home warranty. The rep my mom talked to was just amazing. Very pleasant. Sent out a guy to work out the pool. And in less than an hour, he had it running.     In February this year, my clothes dryer quit heating. I made the claim and 2 weeks later hadn't heard anything. Finally got through to customer service (prepare to be on hold at LEAST 30 minutes) and they said they couldn't find a vendor to come fix it. They finally found someone and 5 weeks later my dryer was fixed. NOW, I have had a claim unanswered for over a month on my home AC unit. I have been calling and sitting on hold every other day, only to be told that it was in their department making a determination on the ticket. I live in the South, and it has been over 90 degrees every day with no AC. Their answer? "Check with your home insurance, maybe they will put you up in a hotel." I cannot believe the good reviews of this company, it is like they are reviewing a completely different company than I have had experience with!!!! (I STILL have no A/C and am on hold once again as I type this)...

    This was our first claim and it went so smoothly. The dryer wasn't tumbling so we called Home Service Club. The repair man came out a couple of hours later and put a new belt on. Started the dryer up and it worked, and continues to work.

    My bath tub had a tiny leak which turned into a gush of water! I was panicking inside the bathroom. Immediately my mom called the HSC, we had an appointment by the next day. We just had to turn off the water source to the house for the meantime. The repair guy who came was prepared and fixed it quickly.

    I am not really good with the appliances at home, not a handyman. Good thing The Home Service Club assigns great people to us to get the job done. They're very professional. Most of the time it's a mystery to me what they're doing but they try to explain them to me with words I can understand. Cause some are just really technical. I really like their service.

    We placed a smoke detector at home for safety purposes due to having a new member in our family, a baby. After a few months, tried it since I was doubtful. It was NOT working! Called the HSC guys immediately. After a few days, they were fixed. Thank so much!

    Home Service Club is the only place you should be going to for your home warranty. Having home owners insurance is just not enough and you would be wise to give them a call. I’ve used them four times so far and each time it was good, friendly service that fixed it right!

    When the contractor told me he had to order a part from the manufacturer in order to get my washing machine going again, I was disappointed that it would take several days but completely glad that I had the home warranty.     Before, I thought having a home warranty would mean having an expensive lifestyle. I thought I could preserve all my appliances by just checking on them every few months. But when my air conditioning unit broke down, I couldn't fix it. Called my friends, and one of them recommended on getting a home warranty, specifically, The Home Service Club.     Was taking a shower when suddenly water pressure was slowing down. Could you imagine?? Having to scramble around with shampoo in my eyes. Tsk.     The oven wasn’t working. I called in my home warranty claim and they sent out an oven specialist. He arrived when he said he would and actually called me when he was a few minutes away. That was very considerate! He fixed the stove with a part he had in his truck. That was very efficient!

    Nothing but great experience with the HSC! I've been with them almost a year and have called them a couple of times. Experience has been great.     Our microwave, out of the blue just stopped working! We live in an apartment with no stove so heavily relied to the microwave to heat our food or leftover from takeout. Luckily, HSC got it back running. Good thing I got HSC way back.

    It was our first time in buying a house. We got a realtor and he referred several warranty companies. I compared the pros and cons of each one of them and I liked the Home Service Club the best.     A cord from the dryer popped and something had to be replaced. I called HSC and submitted a claim quickly. The day after I called, guys from the contractor came and they were absolutely great. Worked as fast and as efficient as they could. Time was not wasted. They rewired and put a new power supply. The dryer was fixed and was back to normal.

    We had trouble with our washing machine. Submitted a claim over the phone and had excellent interaction with the HSC representative. I told the rep that our washing machine was not cycling properly and had a weird noise when I turned it on. Told the guy who came what my concerns were and he was very good fixing it.     I called in my policy with the Home Service Club when my dryer stopped heating. A guy came over and started taking the dryer apart. He let me know that he could fix it but a part needed to be special ordered. It took a few days but when he returned with the part and replaced it, the dryer was working as good as new.

    My water heater broke so we phoned in HSC and they were such wonderful people to deal with! Fast service and responded immediately within 24 hours. They tested our water heater and found it could not be saved. They needed to replace and they did just that. The next day, there was a new one and it worked perfectly well.     Satisfied customer right here! One day our washer wouldn't run a full cycle. It was having an error code or something. I called and they came right away, they did a bunch of diagnostics then cleaned out the line that feeds the washer. They did some kind of magic here. Now, everything's fixed and working fine.     We bought a new home. Unfortunately, the boiler was not working properly and was using a ton of gas. Called them immediately to get it inspected and whoever set the original set up clearly did not do it properly.     Such flexible warranty. Plumbing at home went crazy and immediately after calling them, rep came in and fixed the system. These guys are definitely worth it. Would highly recommend them to my relatives and colleagues at work.

    I've been with them for the past few years and Yes it was worth it. Never been disappointed and yes I know when it is winter or summer that they have high volume of calls but you still can have a good transaction and job gets done and done professionally.     I don't know much about microwave ovens, so when mine wasn't working I called Home Service Club. The lady I talked with assured me the problem would be fixed before the day was done. A short time later, a technician was at the house and had the microwave working again.

    They never cease to amaze me, any time I've had a claim. The most recent one was for the dishwasher that was only four months old. The tech found a faulty door latch to be the problem. He put a new one in and the dishwasher works fine.

    I recommend them to everyone! When our furnace stopped working, they had a service guy out to the house, who diagnosed the problem easily. He had it fixed in no time. Fast, friendly response all around, and a nice warm house again.

    I called this company prior to purchasing the coverage, stated I was moving into a new house, and listed the items I would need to have repaired. The main issues were pool repairs and sprinkler system. They ended up not covering any of those items. I have had 4 additional claims over the last year. All but one have been covered. FYI, they don't work on the weekends, hold times are exhaustive, and agents are typically rude. I suggest going with another company. I am sitting on hold with them right now (15 minutes listening to the lady say how important their customers are). The website was down all weekend.

    I couldn't be more satisfied with Home Service Club. I called them when my washer was leaking. The customer service lady was friendly and got a serviceman out fast. He found the problem and explained it to me in simple terms. He fixed it and I have had no more problems.

    This company is the absolute worst. I started a policy with them and about 6 months in, my clothes dryer stopped working. They contacted a repairman who never responded. After 2 weeks I called them and mentioned that this repairman had numerous complaints on the review sites about just this sort of thing. They told me not to worry about what people write and refused to send a different service provider.

    Eventually, the guy showed up and said that we needed a new dryer, but not to worry because, "It's nice and warm, so you can just hang your clothes outside." He said he'd file the paperwork with them that day but it took him another 2 weeks. In that time, I started calling HSC and explaining that this guy has a terrible reputation online and that it was one excuse after the other: The request went to spam, my computer crashed, it's the "girl" at the office who keeps misplacing things or the old "I'm in the field right now and will call you back." Of course, he never called back and HSC kept telling me that they would sort it out and get back to me, but as you may have guessed, they never did. I asked to speak with a manager, so they told me I'd be contacted within 24 to 72 hours, a week later and still, no manager has called.

    Finally, after a dozen or so calls, the paperwork is complete and they explain that they will give me $150 towards the purchase of a new dryer. I was shocked, so they explained that, after depreciation, that's all my dryer was worth. Sure, but the whole point of these warranty clubs is to REPLACE things when they break. In the end, I was paying their monthly premiums so that I could end up giving a $125 deductible to the worst repairman in Pittsburgh as well as receiving $150 toward a dryer from Lowe's. After over a month on no dryer, that leaves me with really $25 ($150 for a new dryer - $125 for the worthless repairman = $25). All that for only $58 a month. HSC is a scam.

    From start to finish trying to get my dryer replaced has been a nightmare! Just read all of the 1 star reviews they reflect my experience. The final decision after over a month of waiting was to offer $150.00 to replace my dryer. This month we paid $58.00 for comprehensive coverage and $125 service fee just to be offered $150.00? They won't even send a check for us to shop! If I could give no stars I would.

    Been a customer for 8 years. I've gotten a new: washing machine, dryer, dishwasher, ice maker, garbage disposal, water heater. Not to mention Tons of service calls. It's nice to know that my out of pocket is never going to exceed the monthly cost and the deductibles (at the time of service)!!!

    It used to be that placing a claim with HSC was a nice experience. Waiting time on the phone was reasonable, claims placed online were handled promptly, confirmation of request was sent by email and the technicians that HSC sent were good. All of the above has deteriorated considerably in the last year. Waiting time is very long, claims placed online are ignored, no emails are sent. Instead, a representative will call (when they call which is not always), and not leave a voicemail with the required info and one has to start the whole process again.

    On more than one occasion I was referred to companies that insisted they knew nothing of HSC, had never done business with them and therefore could not help me. I am in such a situation at the moment, with reps promising to call me back to refer me to a technician that they have contracted with and who will finally do the repair on my electric system but I'm still waiting. On multiple occasions I have requested service for an appliance. When I have specifically given the make of that appliance, HSC has referred me to companies who do not service it. The list is endless and I am at the end of my tether.

    Only tried to use this 3 times in a year and this first appointment too over 45 days to get assigned. They claimed debris in the faucet stem as "routine maintenance" 60 days after the date of service. Second time they made me pay over $200 to clear a clogged drain (contract covers up to $500, they only paid 208). Third time was due to AC unit not cooling, they assigned it to a company that when I called to get on the schedule stated they no longer accepted work from HSC because they were too much of a pain to work with. There is no way to look up your service ticket or see where it is on the website, which doesn't have chat integrated. Any time you can you sit on hold for 45 min before getting "leave a message for a call back" that you never get. When you finally do get in touch with someone after about 3 days, they're horribly rude most times. I had 3 home warranty companies over 13 years - 1 horrible, 1 average, 1 great. This is the worst.

    I have called, been on hold for hours and cannot get someone to service my AC. I will file a complaint in NJ on this company. I placed my request in April, I have called 5 times since that time. They finally gave me a number 908 259 9800. The company stated I must pay the full amount of repair for service and the warranty company will reimburse later. I stated. "That is not in my contract, I pay my deductible" and the gentlemen stated, "That is how it works." "NOT" As I am typing this venting complaint, I am still on hold since 5 pm. I truly do not like this company. Poor customer service, and the list goes on. My suggestion do your homework. Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me! Funny now it states no one is available to leave a message!!!

    Hi! My name is Alex. I live in Fayetteville, NC. I've been with Home Service Club for more than a year now. I didn't have anything break on my two properties for a long time but then when my garbage disposal and my air conditioning went out I had to call Home Service Club. The contractors assigned to fix it never called me to schedule an appointment. Then I tried calling them but was given an answer that they are going to contact me instead. And again, never got a call back.

    Then I contacted Home Warranty Insurance about 5 times in total, and every time they would leave a message to the contractor and reassure that the technicians are going to call back. However, nobody ever called me back. About 3 weeks already passed, and none of my issues got fixed. So they've been charging me monthly for what? I forgot to mention that it takes generally about 20-40 minutes for Home Service Club to answer you call. This is just bad customer service borderline with scam, in my opinion.

    Stay far away from this so-called warranty company. If I could give negative starts that would be a start, they are not worthy of even 1 star. Hands down the shadiest home warranty company. No one ever answers the phones, emails or service requests. When they do they say they have given your info to a technician... and that technician NEVER calls because they are not even in business. We are in AZ and have been requesting service for now almost a month. The only reason we have this warranty is because the seller purchased it (they obviously were looking for the cheapest way out). Do your due diligence and STAY AWAY from this company they are a complete JOKE.

    WARNING! My microwave stopped heating out of the blue. I set up a claim online and never heard back. I called a couple days later and was assured that my claim had been received and passed along to a contractor and the contractor would be in touch, they were just very busy right now. Days passed and I called again asking for the contractors info so I could call them to set something up. I was given info for a local company so I called and they said they had not received any work order and in fact they don’t do business with this company. Hmmmm ok. Called back the warranty company and after being on hold for quite a while they confirmed no they do not do business with them. I was assured they would get this straightened out and would get me set up with another appointment.

    The next day I received an email from a contractor stating they would be coming out the following week. Perfect. Contractor gets here and informs me it looks like I personally set up the appointment, there is no information about the warranty (even though they set up the appointment) and I would have to pay out of pocket. He showed me a list of companies they work with and sure enough, no HSC warranty. By the time the contractor got here the microwave had been out for 2 weeks. Between this and the HOURS I have spent on hold I am just going to pay out of pocket for a new microwave. This isn’t worth my time or money. Do waste either of yours on them!

    I was hoping that the noise from the washer was nothing serious. A phone call to Home Service Club had a tech out to inspect it. It was a timing motor problem and he had the part with him. Within an hour the washer was working again, quietly.

    When I purchased my home it came with a policy from the Home Service Club. I never had one before but it sure came in handy when the water heater started to leak. The unit was in the attic so I had drips from the ceiling. It was all taken care of by a plumber that was dispatched after I made the call.

    HSC came through when our fridge broke down. I got up in the morning to a wet mess and called them for help. They sent out a technician and he determined that it was too old to fix.     I didn’t think we would ever use a home warranty company. That all changed when we moved to an area I knew nothing about. The first time I needed a repair person I had great difficulty in locating someone. My parents suggested getting a policy with Home Service Club. We ended up purchasing the standard plan.     I am so glad I purchased a warranty from HSC. Our heater did not want to come on this winter, so we called to get service and file a claim. Both were easy. The contractor came out the next day for repairs. He replaced the pilot light and it came back on. I just paid my deductible.

    Updated on 05/02/2019: Update from April 27 review. HSC is now threatening to investigate me, the contractor, and their own employee for fraud because I have not paid my $43 premium for 3 months. I was a customer in good standing for multiple years prior, and I paid over $3,000 for my share of the repair that was "covered" under their warranty. ALWAYS READ THE CONTRACT IN FULL, NOT JUST THE SUMMARY! The premium payment is being withheld through my CC company at my direction because the contractor has yet to be paid. Contractor removed their negative social media post after ongoing pressure from HSC. I continue to await full payment of contractor by HSC for work performed in November 2018.

    Original review: I have been a customer in good standing with HSC for more than a year. When my A/C failed, HSC scheduled a contractor to visit my home. The contractor canceled at the last minute because HSC was slow-paying on a previous job. HSC then asked me to locate a contractor. I identified a local vendor and HSC approved it. The vendor did the work... last year (2018). HSC agreed to pay the vendor, then withheld payment once they learned the vendor had written a poor review on social media. HSC demanded the vendor remove the post. The vendor has yet to be paid (April 27, 2019).

    I cancelled my contract with HSC and disputed my monthly premium through the credit card company. Now HSC is telling the credit card company that they have paid the vendor and they are pursuing me for premiums. I would not recommend working with HSC. We are making one last attempt to resolve the dispute before pursuing legal recourse and providing more details for the benefit of other consumers.

    I am on the go most of the time. If I have a problem with an appliance, it’s annoying to have to wait for a repairman. That’s not an issue with Home Service Club. The customer service people can give a precise time the repairman will arrive. I am also assured the repair will be done quickly and correctly.

    A plan with Home Service Club makes for a “no hassle” situation when you need a repair. All I have to do is go online or make a call to get a reputable service tech to make a repair on any of my covered household items. It’s very convenient.

    The garbage disposal in my sink would not operate. When I turned it on it smelled like something burning. I remembered I had coverage with Home Service Club, so I called them. It ended up I needed a new garbage disposal. I only had to pay a small deductible to have a new one installed.

    The first time I used our HSC coverage is when the oven quit working. I had little faith that it was going to be repaired in a timely manner. I called the customer service number and they assured me that someone would be available that day. I was pleasantly surprised that a tech was at my door within a few hours. The repair was made and I was able to get dinner made.

    We have taken out HSC warranty on our house after a previous really bad experience with another provider. I do not like to complain about service but when it's not provided it's reasonable to say something. We put a claim in for our Aircon, the diagnosis was done 48 hours ago, both myself and the service provider are both chasing HSC and they just don't seem to respond. They gave me an excuse they were awaiting a reply from the service provider when I had only just got off the phone from the provider and she confirmed that they had advised HSC by phone and email and left messages but no response. I phoned HSC and basically the lady on the phone had a tone of no urgency at all. Still awaiting a firm yes or no as to whether they will authorize the repair after 48 hours since the diagnosis. Poor response... Poor communication... Poor service. I await their response.

    Water started leaking from one of the valves of my water softener. I called and filed a claim with the Home Service Club. A contractor came out and did a great job fixing the leak with parts he already had in his truck. That was a LOT faster than I thought it would have been!

    I had a bad experience with a service warranty company in a previous home. When I purchased a new condo, it came with a Home Service Club warranty. I was very skeptical.     I’m thrilled to have Home Service Club for my home. I have the worst luck with appliances and then there is always the problem of locating a repairman. With HSC those issues don’t exist. All it takes is one phone call to get a broken appliance fixed.

    I have never had a home warranty service before. I was not very familiar with them. The home we just bought came with a service plan from Home Service Club. The dishwasher was not cleaning properly so I decided to call HSC. I was sure they would tell me it wasn’t covered. To my surprise the agent was very helpful and set up a time to send someone out to repair it.

    The first home we bought was older. Some of the appliances that came with the house were also old. The most concerning of those was the outside air conditioning unit. I called a few home warranty companies and chose Home Service Club. I’m glad we got coverage. That AC unit broke down just two months later. It was repaired with very little expense to us.

    HSC really came through for me this winter. Our heater went kaput and we needed to call for help. Since I have a warranty with them, they set up an appointment for a local service person to come check it out. They cleaned the heater and replaced the pilot light and now it works fine. Thank you.

    We bought an older home last summer and got a warranty from Home Service Club at the time too. When our oven decided to stop heating one weekend, I had to call for service. They had a local contractor come over and he did a nice job. He had to replace the pilot light and now it works just fine.

    When my air conditioner was not cooling this summer, I called them to get some service. Because I had their warranty, they sent someone out the next morning. A very nice young man came over and after he refilled the freon, it was cooling fine again. Thank goodness!

    This company is a joke! If I could have given it 0 stars, I would. I purchased this home warranty as my neighbors in our newly built neighborhood began to experience issues with their appliances. I bought it and then found that my microwave went out. The service member contracted to come out and look at our microwave was very rude and unprofessional. The service took ten days even to get back to me, and if I had not called and pushed them to get someone out here, it would have never happened. This service is a joke. They came back and said my situation was pre-existing. My home is brand new and the appliance is just 1 year old. Do not waste your money or your time!

    Home Service Club has won so many different awards for their service and I can see why. Out of all the companies around who offer this service, HSC has some of the best reviews and that is why we chose them. We've been customers for several years and when our furnace stopped working recently, we got on the phone immediately. Claire in customer service was friendly, suggested a couple of things that did not fix the problem and then told us she would schedule a technician to come out. We arranged for that and were happy to have a professional tech come fix our heating system. So, we only have this 1 call to them, but it went very well.

    I had to give a star but they don't even deserve that. Do not go with this company. Below I put what contract covers. Washer broke and they won't replace. They said it lost value due to it being old. I found a $400 washer, as you see I can go higher and they won't pay. Their so-called supervisors do not help. They offered to apply $200 to my contract (yet they still charged my credit card). Bottom line is this is third time I called them for something and all three not covered they claim. They are a scam and nothing is covered. My next step is lawsuit. If anyone wants in email me.

I went and looked at it myself at first and sure enough, the boiler was not working. I placed the call and they went ahead to dispatch a tech.     I have been a loyal customer with HSC since 2015 and never used their service. My washing machine was broken and the company sent a serviceman to my house but he did not do anything or say anything nor did I sign anything. After calling HSC for 2 weeks, I could not get an answer of the status of my claim. I finally called back on Last week and Was told that they will give me 181 dollars to buy a new 700 dollar washing machine. After paying for the new washer HSC did not send me my money but choose to apply it as credit. This also include paying 125 dollar fee without any service to repair the washer.

    I have paid over 2000 dollar of monthly installments. I don’t understand how a company is still in business. I have asked to speak to customer relations department and they have the shift supervisor call me back. HSC recently changed their policy to where the customer pays to replace broken appliances. I don’t understand how they can practice this type of operation without facing legal action. I wonder what happens if a family can't pay for the appliances?

    I filed a claim on Monday February 11th to get my clothes washer fixed. I called every day from that point to be told they are working on finding a company. I finally receive a call on Friday the 15th of February. They told me they found a company to call and set up an appointment. I call and set the appointment and not 5 minutes later receive a call Back from HSC telling me they had to cancel it. HSC couldn’t meet the company's requirements. I called again Monday to be told they found a company that could come out in 2 weeks. That will put me without a washer for 3 plus weeks.

    The only reason they found a company was because, I provided them with names and phone numbers. I told them the 2 weeks doesn’t help me due to the fact I’m moving. They told me I could go out on my own and find someone to fix it myself and they could not mail me a check that I would get credit to my account. I even spoke to a supervisor who told me she was the top boss and there was no one over her that I could talk to. I will not be renewing my contract with HSC. I would suggest using another company.

    I’ve always hated washing dishes by hand. When I bought my first home, I made SURE it came with a dishwasher. During a heavy storm, the dishwasher filled with water and it would not drain.     When we purchased our home it was as first-time homebuyers. The seller had to disclose certain things within the house that needed to be repaired or replaced. Of course, we had purchased homeowner's insurance but we also decided to purchase a home warranty with and the company we went with was the Home Service Club. Within the first three months in our new home, the refrigerator and the stove needed to be replaced and the hot water heater needed to be repaired.     I had researched several companies that offer the home warranty service. There were many that I crossed off my list right away just from the way they answered their phones and spoke. Next came the quotes and again, another batch was eliminated from that list as being way too expensive. I decided to go with the Home Service Club. The real test to see if that was the correct choice came later in the year when I needed the dishwasher fixed. From claim to confirmation of repair, these people are the BEST!

    Dont ever go with this warranty. I have purchased it and had to raise a service request for my AC. It took 1 month for them to finally react to my request. And after canceling my warrant, they are not giving any refund. It is already 3 months and still they want me to wait for 30 business days. Customer service is horrible. Anytime you call them, it takes 30 mins before a representative talks to you.

    I had to make a call a couple weeks ago because my stand alone freezer wasn't working. All my food was thawing out. I was only on hold for 10 minutes and when I talked to Samantha the first thing she said, was "Oh no! We better get someone out there fast!" I was scrambling to get some of my meats to my neighbor's houses so I wouldn't lose them. A repair tech arrived within 24 hours of my call and was able to fix the freezer. I had to pay a small deductible but that was nothing compared to the cost of all the organic meats I would have lost. It's because of service like this that I will never leave the Home Service Club. Very responsive and understanding of my urgency!

    Never before have I met such a nice technician. Tim who came and fixed my furnace literally gave me an education about furnaces while he was working. I can't say enough about him and now I know what to look for next time we have problems with our heat. If all the service people are like Tim, I will be a customer forever!

    We switched from another company I won't mention - we had a terrible experience with them. But now with HSC, we have every appliance in both of our homes covered. It's great, because 1 is a rental property, so it makes our job as landlord much easier. We had to file 1 claim and were very pleased with the service. Glad we switched.

    We have begged them for payment for 6 months! HORRIBLE COMPANY. If you are a contractor, do not do work for this company!!! 27 emails and 8 phone calls. THEY DO NOT PAY!!! I have spoken with several different employees in their accounting department, I have sent all of them the invoice for the work performed, and I have spoken to supervisors, all promising to pay!

    When it rains, it pours. And I think it always comes in threes right? First, the garage door opener and mechanized parts went out. I called HSC and a contractor came out to fix it. Second, same day the garage door opener was fixed, the garbage disposal went out. The day they came to fix that, the dryer belt broke. HSC helped us with it all!

    I tried to do my own plumbing. I learned my lesson when I tried to remove the toilet in the guest bathroom. I snapped a bolt and broke the ring. That was my handyman attempt. I called Home Service Club. They came and finished the job and did it right. Thanks for getting rid of my headache.

    Bath time is usually a nice time for my little daughters. When the tub drain was stopped up I had to bath them in the kitchen sink. This was not a happy time for them or me any longer.     We are so happy with our extended home warranty service plan with Home Service Club. They are very nice when we call for a repair and always have someone out quickly to work. They fixed our hot water heater in no time when it stopped heating the water. If you do not have their warranty, you must get one asap!

    My brother’s house warming gift to us was an HSC warranty. It was so kind of him to pay for it for three years ahead. I swore we’d never need it, but his wisdom panned out.     We live way outside of town. We like to recycle and we are glad we have a recycling program for our town. We have to deliver our own recycling to a dumpster provided by the city. When we lost the use of the trash compactor it was a problem. We have a home warranty plan with Home Service Club. We used our plan and the unit was replaced. The company did exactly what they said they would do.

    I got the service contract when I purchased my home. I asked for a sample contract but all they would provide me with was a brochure. My home inspector did a functionality test and determined the A.C. to be working as designed. It continued to work for 6 months and then quit. I requested a repair and then had to wait for 2 weeks before they could find a technician and get him to my home. I've since learned that many professionals won't work with home service companies because they want to say what they will pay. The tech determined the compressor had gone out and because the unit was 18 years old recommended replacement instead of repair.

    More than a week went by and finally I called them to find out what they were going to do. The person handling my claim said they had determined it to be a pre-existing condition. I pointed out that the inspector determined it to working properly and they said something had to be wrong for it to go out 6 months into the contract and instead of paying the $2.500, a limit not mentioned in the brochure, they would only pay $1,000 as a pre-existing condition.

    I pressed for details and they said the inspector said some things needed to be done. All he mentioned was I should pour a cup of vinegar down the condensation drain line every 3 months. Based on their figures after their $1000 contribution I would owe about $6000. I contacted a local A.C. man and he gave me a bid of $4590 for the same work. Clearly they jacked up the price to cover their part. I would not recommend this company to anyone. There are better home service companies out there and even if they are a little higher at least they cover you when you break down.

    We are a family of 5 with four very insistent Jack Russel terriers. I love them all but they are a very messy group. The dogs are happy but I need my dishwasher. I used my warranty plan from The Home Service Club so that I can find my kitchen again. Thanks HSC!

    My pipes to the washer burst from the cold at the first time it dropped below freezing this year. I have used Home Service Club in the past but I was especially grateful to have them for this problem. I would not have wanted to have to crawl into the spaces that this plumber had to struggle to get to. But the job got done and the warranty has paid itself off yet again!

    Our refrigerator stopped working and we had to put what we could in a cooler. We have a Home Service Club for our appliances warranty. We were able to get an appointment pretty quickly. The service guy had the part that they needed to fix the refrigerator so we didn't have to wait for any return trips. We replenished the refrigerator the same day. Thanks to HSC.

    I made the biggest mistake to my poor in-law’s washing machine. I didn’t sort the laundry when I was over there house sitting. My son’s toy ended up in the wash and it was one of those expandable in water things that led to broken up in water after the spin cycle into the rinse. Then it was clogging the machine. Thankfully, my in-laws had me call the warranty company who made arrangements to get it cleaned out. The tech was also kind enough to teach me how to do it, in the event it should happen again. I bought a plan for us after we were home again.

    If you are looking for a home warranty company that provides any service and doesn't just bill you a monthly amount but refuses to provide any service. This is not the company you should hire. If you want to pay for nothing at all then contract this company. You will be billed every month and you will experience the satisfaction of paying your bill while receiving absolutely no services. When you call them you will spend a lot of time online, then be promised a call back regarding services and technicians. That call will not happen.

    Technicians will not materialize and you will be back to square one. No service. That's what you pay for when you hire this home warranty company. That's what we received when we made claims about our air conditioning, a plumbing issue and an electrical issue. On all three counts they failed to provide technicians or service. We ended up spending tons of time on the phone with them trying to access the service we paid for and then paying for service out of pocket because the company did not follow through.

    I have a woodworking shop where I make custom furniture from home. I work with some pretty toxic chemicals. I have an exhaust system set up so I can do my work safely. When the system broke down in the middle of a project I couldn't work. The customer I was working with was a little fussy and I didn't want to disappoint them. I called Home Service Club. They came out and found the problem. Thanks to some great contractors, I was back to work in no time. My customer was able to get what they needed on time. The HSC contractors were fast and efficient.

    I am a baker. We are coming into the holiday season. My friends and family expect my holiday gifts to be edible. Nothing was baking at the right temperature. I called Home Service Club. When the service technician looked at my oven he was not sure if it could be fixed. He took the time to really research the part that the oven required. They found the part and it was installed. I am so happy that I have my oven back with plenty of time before I start my holiday baking.

    It's the last weekend before Thanksgiving and I find myself in a mess. I had planned to get ahead by doing my baking early. I have everything mixed and ready to bake when I go over to my stove to turn on the oven. It doesn't come on at all. I thought it was just me forgetting how to use my own stove. I had my husband try and oven still does not come on. We checked circuit breaker and it was fine. I was so glad that we had purchased insurance for The Home Service Club. I frantically contacted them and explained my problem. Since it was early in the morning they were able to get someone out that afternoon to take a look. The burners on top were working fine, it was just the oven that did not work. The repairman came out and discovered it was my heating element that was not working. He replaced it rather quickly and I was able to continue my Thanksgiving baking.

    The Home Service Club warranty covers Laundry appliances, Kitchen appliances, living room furniture and even bedroom furniture. I had pipes burst in my home which caused my washer and dryer to flood and break and my refrigerator which was less than one year old. I thought my food would spoil by the time I received a new refrigerator. The Home Service Club came to my rescue in 24 hours. My food did not spoil and I was able to have clean clothes after the flood soaked them wet. I could not have managed without them and I am thankful to have found a great company as theirs.

    My home was experiencing electrical power loss during cold seasons. Just recently this past week all power was lost due to cold temperatures. The whole neighborhood had lost power also. Today about 30% of my home lost power and I believe due to electrical failure but it is also cold temperatures today.     When it was time to buy my first house, I learned about The Home Service Club. It was a complete surprise, how easy it was! First off, buying a house is stressful enough as it is, then after buying it you have to keep it up, and sometimes things goes wrong like a washer/dryer breaks or your A/C goes out, it could be anything. It's a great thing to know someone's got your back, if needed, and the peace of mind will give you less stress, and help you sleep at night.     We were just moving out of our home and getting it ready for our new tenants- One-week countdown to move out a state, get the house ready for the new tenants while raising two crazy toddlers and I'm by myself. My husband had already left for the new job. The washing machine breaks! My husband thankfully got this a year ago since he heard of it from a co-worker and we had to pay a lot on repairs on our other property. I was able to submit my claim online while my two toddlers are running around wild. I am not a fan of doing things on the phone. Someone came the next day, fixed it under an hour and that was that. So easy and one less thing to worry about. After this, we decided to get it on our other property as well.

    When buying my house I learned about The Home Service Club. It was really a no brainer.
