    The Hawx techs come out monthly. They'll text me a few days before they come and I don't have to schedule with them. They treat the yard and spray around the perimeter of the home. They have been good and I'd tell my friends to try their service.

    Hawx had a decent price. They came out and treated for fleas. It seems to be working. Nobody has complained about fleas since they started treating the area. The techs are punctual and they keep their word. I kinda wondered if I could have done it myself because all they do is just take some kind of pesticide and broadcast it around the area, but whatever they're using is killing the fleas or keeping them out of the house.

    Hawx did some pest control inside my home. Then for like one month, they did the backyard too. The technicians are cool, but I didn't like the sales guy. He lied to me. He told me that I would only be billed after they do a service. It was a bit foolish of me to believe him because the iPad clearly read recurring monthly. I was thinking that was just verbiage. I ended up signing and get locked in to that. They actually charge you every single month even though they only come once every three months. The reason is because in case you need a warranty, but I think if you don't do a good job the first time, it's your job to come back. I shouldn't pay for that. Other than that, Hawx does good work. I've never had to call them before to come fix anything. It’s usually one time and they're good. I didn't see any issues until the next appointment. They've got pretty good customer service.

    Hawx Pest Control is doing very good so far. They come in once a month and spray around the house. The techs are friendly. They let me know in advance. That way, somebody would be there to open the gate for them. I have not seen outdoor roaches since they have come out. Hawx calls and offers me a different service but I'm happy with what I have. I recommended them.

    They treated the yard for ants. I've spoken to every one of the technicians that have come out. I have animals so they're very aware of what goes on in my yard. So anytime that they're at the house, I always make sure I'm able to interact with them. It's always awesome. Since they've been treating my yard, I have not seen a single ant.

    It worked out at the time that I was having a lot of bugs in my house, and a guy from Hawx came to my door. He was persistent so I got the service and I haven't had any issues with any bugs since. So, I'm satisfied. I kind of forgot about the service. The techs come when they come. They let me know when they're gonna do it. One time, they couldn't get in my backyard so they had to reschedule. They did the front and came back for that. Another time, I was seeing a lot of water bugs and I told them about it. They didn’t give me any hassle. They just scheduled it and came down and did it. It was great.

    The techs from Hawx are wonderful. They have been doing things outside for me, fire ants and spraying for various critters outside. They're coming next week where they're gonna be checking and doing a spray inside also. The last guy who came was fantastic. And the guys are good as far as coming and taking care of everything, and there's never any problems whatsoever. They're very polite. Right now, we’re fine with the cost and the quality of service, which is part of the reason why we still have Hawx.

    They charge me yearly and they come out every three months. They service my home for spiders. I've been satisfied with them, so far. If I have more spiders than normal, I can call them and tell them, "You need to come back out," and they'll come back out. If I have issues on the inside, they'll come inside too. I would recommend them.

    I have a big problem with ants and wasps at my house and I have daycare kids and pets, and Hawx has been amazing. They are very conscious about where any chemicals might go. So, I appreciate that. All their service techs have been fantastic and it’s been one of the best service I have, especially with running a business out of my home. Child care licensing is very strict about pests and ants, specifically. So, it has been so nice. I've had to call a couple times for between their scheduled services and they've come out within a few days and taken good care of me.

    Hawx Pest Control is one phone call away. Within that same week, they are able to come out. So, that's neat. And they haven't charged me anything extra for just them coming out extra times. They are there whenever I need anything done with pests as far as mosquitoes or wasps that keep coming back in the front porch. And they're helping me with some rodents. The techs are friendly guys.     I called Hawx Pest Control last week, and they came a couple of days later. I like how they do things. Apart from just telling me what they've done, they take pictures of everything. They ask if any other areas are a concern and they treat those additionally. So, that's a lot better than some of the other pest control folks, where they just come in, when I'm not here, they just do the pest control and leave. No photos. And they would say, "Pest control is done." So, I like that Hawx takes photos of everything, show what they've done. Even if I need extra treatments, they come in within the next couple of days, and they're able to resolve it.

    Hawx come out about once every other month at the longest and they take care of the lawn treatment, inside treatment if I want it and the mosquito control. It has been an outstanding experience with the rep. Every now and then an ant bed will pop up and it will be a new one and Hawx is usually back out before they become a nuisance. My main concern used to be ants getting into the house and spiders around the house. I haven't had any problems with that since I've gotten Hawx on it.

    Hawx started off okay. But then it got bad so I started to quit. I was having them spray the inside of the house. While they were spraying the bottom of my cabinets, my stove, and my refrigerator, they ruined a shelf that I have in my dining room. It was not good. In the dining room, the tech walked around and just nonchalantly sprayed everything with a white chemical and it's black lacquer. After every time they leave, I have to wash the bottom of my refrigerator and my cabinets. I also got a rag and it ruined it.

    I called and complained, and they were sorry. Then, this one guy came and just sat in his truck the whole time he was here. He didn't ring the doorbell, didn't knock, didn't do the service, didn't do anything, and then left. I called and I said, "Your guy just left. He didn't even come inside." The rep said, "He said he did a whole full spray." I said, "He didn't." That was the same guy that had sprayed the time before that was getting it all over my furniture. So, we got rid of him. They sent somebody really good. Ever since then, I've had no problems. But the other thing I didn't like was they sent me a text saying that they were coming on Tuesday, the 14th. But there was no time. I always had to call them. They also used to come every month, which I liked. Then, all of a sudden, they only come every other month now. But they charge my credit card every month.

    We've been a customer of Hawx since October 2021. During that time we have had to ask for multiple retreatments. The last treatment was scheduled by Hawx for outside only even though we always have the interior done, too. The technician who provided the service and the supervisor I later spoke with stated that their approach was to keep the pests on the outside and only treat the inside when necessary. This was the first time anyone had tried to use that excuse.

    We have also had to defend our choice to use "green" organic treatments many times. One technician became so argumentative that I made him leave our home. I've made it clear to supervisors that we will only accept the organic treatments. Finally, in response to a customer satisfaction survey that I completed, a supervisor called. He stated that there was no record on the account of the need to use the green chemicals. The supervisor then began making derisive statements about our choice. He also falsely stated that we needed to leave our home for 2 hours because the organic chemicals had a very strong odor that needed to dissipate. I canceled the account and now Hawx is charging a $299 termination fee. We've filed a complaint with the BBB over that charge.

    I liked the deal that Hawx offered. They waived the initiation fee, and then they had it down to a certain amount that worked for my family’s budget. They come out quarterly. They'll do around the perimeter of the house, and then they clean the cobwebs and the spiders. They do the spraying at the potential areas where they can hide. Then they do the perimeter spray, and then they’ll kill the anthills that they see. The technicians have been very good so far. There was a little bit of miscommunication between the salesperson about what was being done and the tech, but once the tech clarified exactly what they were responsible for doing, everything's been great.

    Hawx does a great job. All the other pest control places walk around and spray the entire lawn where they put granule insecticides down on the entire lawn, so that'd be really the only thing that I would suggest that Hawx start doing or adding to their services as a norm. Other than that, the customer service, the communication, and the after-action report with all the photos are great. Any updates and little tips and tricks that the service tech was giving in his report are very beneficial. I do appreciate that.

    Hawx comes monthly and sprays on the exterior of the house. There's only been one tech, and he's a nice guy. The one thing I don't like is they've still been spraying during the winter. It's Northern Wisconsin in the winter, so there's no point to be spraying. There are no bugs.

    The young lady that answered the phone was super nice. She explained the pricing to me and what they do. I had a gappy treatment because the people that Hawx was sending were not showing up. I finally gave them a call and said, “Hey, you guys are charging me but nobody's showing up.” It took them a little minute, but they rectified that issue. They credited the account and then they told me someone would be out here. They explained to me that they changed the way they do billing. It’s now every month, instead of every quarter.

    The last guy that they sent out to do the treatment was very professional and informative. I haven't seen anything since then. Sporadically, I would see these little baby roaches that were crawling on my cabinet, cupboard, and counter. But the guy put down some little bait traps and as soon as he put down the trap, I don't see a thing. I want to request him to come back again. He knew what he was talking about. I'm satisfied with him. Overall, it was a pleasant experience.

    A door-to-door salesman sold me a month-to-month "premium" plan with Hawx, which included both indoor and outdoor spraying. Although Hawx was withdrawing $85 from my debit card every month, their rep never appeared after the initial visit so I tried canceling. My profile page didn't allow an option to cancel and their phone number listed via google only reached call centers who said someone "might" call me back between 48 - 72 business hours. When I eventually reached someone, they explained that my payment was monthly, but my service was only quarterly (this would have been extraordinarily expensive for one hour's spraying around property perimeter!). Furthermore, I was paying for inside spraying, but this would only be done if I was specifically requested it each time and they normally didn't do it despite billing for it. Worse yet, they said I had agreed to an annual contract and would have to pay a $450 cancelation fee. WHAT?!!!

    When I said the salesman had told me I was agreeing to month-to-month service, every month, Hawx told me they couldn't be responsible for what their sales people said, which is why they sent a small print contract via email after-the-fact. They said they do this "to avoid misunderstandings with their sales people". I told them categorically that I would not pay $450 to cancel, and was simply going to cancel via my bank. Whereupon, Hawx immediately put through a payment for that amount on my debit card. I phoned my bank as soon as I hung up with Hawx, but Hawx had already put through the unauthorized payment on my card. I have made a claim with my bank and will file a small claims action if necessary.

    We have Hawx for pest control to keep the critters out in the winter and the summer. Five minutes before they came to our house, we discovered a hornet's nest on our porch. It was under one of the benches and they took care of that. The timing was nice. The tech said that they spray right at the bottom where they come out. Because if they spray there, then no one's getting out of there alive. They did that when we weren't at the house.

    I was looking at my invoicing and their visits here and I know there were a couple of months when it wasn't scheduled for them to come out, but I was still being billed. So, I will be going back to the drawing board to see if the service is worth it. I'm paying $100 a month so I expect someone to come every month. I haven't buckled down to call them to discuss my account because I had received feedback from other people who have had them and they said that when it comes to having to try to cancel with Hawx, it's pretty hard to do so. Plus, if you cancel with them, they charge you more money to cancel. When I signed on, it was through some kind of like special and I got $50 off. But, I was going to cancel, they charge for that.

    Hawx has been good. I've had one incident but they made it right. I've never had a rude tech. They've all been professional and respectful. They let me know what day they’d be coming. They send me an email as well. The person who's gonna be coming to the house texts me and lets me know a window of time that they'll be in the house. They've been on point with being on time. The main reason I got with Hawx was I had somebody at my house for a couple of months who brought their little friends over. I had an infestation, and within a few months, they all disappeared so I'm thankful for that. I've kept Hawx to continue the exterior of the home.

    Hawx does their job every three months. If I need something in between, I just call them. Pest activity is still there but it's better than before. But they could do better in terms of service and kill the whole thing. Also, when I signed up, the rep said, "Oh, I'll waive the initial fees." But then, he said, "Oh, it will be a year contract." I don't really like that. I'll be stuck in it and if I wanna cancel, I have to pay cancellation fees of 200 bucks.

    Whenever they say they're coming out, they come out. Their operations people and their pest killing liquid are doing the job. I don't see any pests.     I used to have another service and they were not doing okay. A couple of neighbors posted in the community chat that they used Hawx and that they were having a good experience. I decided to give them a try. So far so good. They go every other month. I talk to them and they seem to be nice. They are always very attentive. Anything that I asked, they were taken care of. In February, there were some spider webs in my garage. I asked the guy if he could take care of it. When they go for service, my garage is usually closed. That day, I was there so I was able to tell the guy and he did a great job.

    There were usually a lot of ants outside but that seems to be under control now. With the previous company, I would tell them about the issue and they would say, they would take care of it. They seemed to be putting some products but that never got rid of the ants. Now with Hawx, it seems to be working because I don't have issues anymore. Hopefully, they keep that level of service. If that's the case, I will be happy forever.

    Hawx Pest Control tells me when they're coming, and if they say they're coming out, they come out. We're not there when they come for the exterior spraying. Sometimes, they send a picture of the guy and take pictures of the area they treat, which is a good idea, but I'm not so sure it's needed. Their customer service is also very good, but I don't think I need the service, especially in the winter months. They come out once a month and spray around the bushes and the exterior of the home, supposedly, to prevent certain bugs from coming inside, but I haven't noticed a difference. My term is up in August, and I've had an alarm set on my phone for me to cancel the service, because it's a lot of money for what they do. I can do it for a lot less.

    Every time their people come in, I have to show them what they have to do and it looks like they don't know exactly what they have to do. That's the only thing I'm not happy with it. Other than that, they're all nice people. Another thing is they gave me the offer where they come out every three months.     Hawx Pest Control responds well. It's all good on the outside as far as the people come and do this. But I've had issues with them from the start. The first guy just was terrible. We ended up firing him, because he came out and had terrible customer service. It started out with ants. And we had a few spiders. But we took care of that too. But I'm starting to have ants in the house again. Overall, not satisfied. It's only $40 a month. I had them come out and do a termite thing because they said I had termite issues. And they said they couldn't do anything, because they don't do ground injections. It's a mess. They said they found three places of damage on the deck. That they wouldn't give me termite service, because I had some damage that I needed to call somebody else. And it was rather expensive. The rep said their termite service hasn't gotten that far along as far as doing the kind of treatment that I needed. I'm not satisfied with it.

    Hawx said they would send out a girl. We requested that they knock to see if we were home. If we're not, that's fine. They can do the service, and to let us know when they were on the property to do the service. And they did that each time, a phone call. But the first time, they didn't knock. And that was a guy. He had a ponytail. And I saw him out on the porch sweeping the top of my porch, getting the cobwebs down. I opened the door and looked outdoor, said, “Dang, you sure are a pretty Brittany.” I said it jokingly. He looked at me, didn't say anything. Just gave me the stare. I said, “They were supposed a girl. That's why I said what I said.” He went on his truck, called his boss, sat on his truck for 20 more minutes. Got his stuff, loaded his truck and left. If he's that serious, he's in the wrong business.

    I called the guy who set up the service. He said, “It's not the first call I've had on that guy. He's gonna get fired.” Hopefully, he didn't tell me that just to appease me. The next two guys they had were nice and great guys. It was just the one guy. It was almost like they were a brand new company, and they didn't know how to handle things. I've tried to cancel already. They told me that I would have to pay in so much for this contract that I was in. So, I said I would wait it out until it's time.

    It's been a great experience with Hawx. I added a rodent service to my pest service. They're very responsive. The only thing that's weird is when you try to call them, it's an 800 number so you go to a call center. You don't really go to them locally. But I seem to get the same guy most of the time, so that's good. I'm allergic to stinging insects. He really looks for the beginning of a nest of a bee or a hornet and knocks those down. The pricing is not the cheapest, but it's definitely not the highest. They’ll come out as many times as you need if you have an issue. They're fantastic.

    Hawx has done something to get rid of these rats. I still got them, but they're going down so much. They've been holding up in the ceiling. The tech checked to see how they were running. And there were little holes that either wire went through or they worked their way through. He stuffed a very coarse steel wool in there. And I thought, "I'll get that Eke Out and soak the paper in it and stuff it up there 'cause they like to chew. So maybe they do, they ain't gonna come back there.” And so far, they haven't been back to that spot to get into the pantry. I'm very pleased with Hawx. I'll recommend them to anybody who got problems with rodents.

    The deal with Hawx was that they'd come out and check if there were rodents in my house. If they found some, we would continue the monthly service. But if they couldn't find rodents in the house, we would end it. The person I talked to over the phone gave a bunch of horror stories then she got the service scheduled. When the professional came out, he didn't find any evidence of any critters around. So we had the service for just one month and Hawx followed through with the deal.     Hawx has been out twice and both of the technicians seem to know their job. The first one checked upstairs and downstairs. The second one did a two-week check afterwards to check the glue traps to see what type of bugs they were talking about. He was out Wednesday and looked at the glue traps that were left. There were a few bugs in it. He knew what type of bugs there were. He did some additional spraying, put out some new glue traps, and checked the mouse traps outside.     I had my first treatment a couple of weeks ago. The tech came in and sprayed indoors. Then he did the whole spraying and laying the bait outdoor. He also did the sweeping for cobwebs. It was good. He was fast. Since the service, I haven't seen any roaches, which was my main concern. I do have a couple of bugs here and there. But it's nothing that isn’t manageable. For instance, I've had stink bugs, but they're a little harder to kill. So it's not a huge problem. I'm glad that the roaches are gone.     I call them up and they set up a program for me. I liked the cost and the way they presented themselves over the phone to me. The gentleman that came in for service did a wonderful job. He introduced himself and showed his badge. He did everything and even above more than I thought we had to have done. He knew his job and he would let us know everything that was going on at that time, what he was going to do, and how he was going to do it. He explained that we had to keep our pets inside for 20 minutes or outside for 20 minutes while the solution still had a chance to seal itself or dry.     I was getting mice, which was something I had never really experienced. I signed up with Hawx about a month and a half ago. I love my technician. He was very thorough and I could email or text him and say, “I got this or this happened, or what do I do about this?” He always responded. Scheduling of service happened really fast. I called on a Friday and they were there Monday. My technician told me the steps that I needed to take for ceilings and stuff in my home. Right away, I started doing stuff. It was very good.

    I gonna send my technician a message today and see when they are gonna come back out because I need him to look at some stuff for me and make sure that I don't have any activity that I'm not seeing. I prefer to continue to use him and he said that that's pretty possible. Hopefully, that's the case. All in all, I'm pretty happy.

    The tech from Hawx came out to do a termite inspection and he spent an inordinate amount of time explaining everything he was doing, drew out a picture, showed us what needed to be done, and suggested kind of a timeline. He couldn't have been more helpful and if I had questions, he was patiently answering them. There were four projects he said that needed to be done to ensure that we don't have issues with termites. We had a small area in one of the walls in the garage. He said that needed to be done immediately. He also felt that because he found some rat droppings, we need to seal in the garage. He said we need to really take care of that secondly. So, we did those two projects immediately. Then he's suggesting we have our insulation in our attic redone. We've been here for 45 years, so it's about time. He also talked about subterranean termites, and the program they have for that.

    The service quality was outstanding. We haven't had any droppings since then. They took a lot of time because he sent out two other people to do the termite eradication. They kept us informed the whole way and knocked on the doors a couple of times to tell us what they've done. Then they told us if we had any questions, we should not to hesitate to call them. They left their cards. They were very thorough. I'm very satisfied. We would highly recommend them.

    I've been using Hawx for years then I stopped. I had a little break from them because I didn't wanna pay. They went up on everything and I couldn't afford it because I'm on a fixed income. When my daughter was here visiting, she brought a roach. When she saw the roach on the wall, I called Hawx and had them start back up their service again. The tech put some traps and they've all come up empty. There were no roaches. But I signed a one year contract so they're still coming out and doing what they have to do. I'm good with that.

    I have the service for preventative reasons. I called them about mosquitoes and spiders before the beginning of the summer because my grandkids came down and I didn't like them being bitten by the mosquitoes. The techs are good. They call or they text me and let me know they're on their way. When they get there, they ring the doorbell. Sometimes, I answer the door. If I don't answer the door, they go on and do what they have to do and leave me a little form. I referred my neighbor to Hawx because she was using something else. She said when her contract expires, she would get on with Hawx.

    I have an ant problem. I reached out to Hawx and they've been out four times. But it's been about three weeks and I'm still flooded with ants. They're putting some kind of granule stuff and the ants in the yard is looking better. But in the house, it's unreal. We’re sweeping our bathrooms at least four or five times a day and getting a dustbin full of them. Other than that, the lady who first came out was excellent. And when we reached out to the techs for them to come back out, they were out pretty quick.

    I was very happy when the Hawx tech first came out. He was very helpful and thorough in his own way. But I was less satisfied later when I found that there were better methods of getting the job done. Then, I called them the second time to ask them to come and clear the traps and to reset. The serviceman was very nice, but he said he didn't have any traps in his truck. I told him I'd go get traps and he could set them. But he said he was not allowed to do that. I knew at that point that that was ridiculous that an exterminator didn't have that.

    Then we talked about the fact that they're not local enough to take care of services like mine as the service people were coming from pretty far away. I had a problem with rats and I was very disgusted. They came out to help me, but what they did was put out traps. The traps are going to spring and since they're from so far away, if they couldn't come in and empty traps, that would mean in my house and in my attic, I have dead rats that have to deal with. It would have been better if they would have just said that my problem is more intense where somebody needs to be up in my attic which they can't do, and that they would recommend I talk to somebody else. That would have been more honest.

    When I found a new exterminator, they went about it in a completely different way and it didn't make me have to clear bloody traps with dead rats in them. The other exterminator also went into the attic and they did a much better job. They did it for a lot less money, too. Plus, they’re local. So, I didn't want to keep paying Hawx. It ended up being a lot more expensive than I had hoped, so I needed to stop services.

    I tried to stop it at the end of January and had been on the phone with a manager. I had a contract somewhere in my email, but I couldn't find it, so he sent it again to me and told me that it was about $100 to stop services with them. I was upset about that because they said that I could stop any time. And I read in the contract that I paid less upfront for a year contract and if I stop services, I had to pay it out. Now still, it wasn't completely clear to me at the beginning of services that that was the case, so that's why I wanted to talk to the manager. So the manager called me. We were halfway through that process with them knowing that I wanted to stop services and they said that they were coming back, but they didn't.

    So I'm a little disappointed with their customer service in that way because I had to continually keep making that happen even though they knew what I wanted to do. They were fine to just let it ride because they had my credit card information and it was going to cost me more money if they didn't call me back. I've been through the process a few times. I've already emailed them, said that I wanted to stop services, and they were going to just keep going as they had without any other contact with me when I didn't talk to him again at the end of January. I thought about it this morning and decided that I needed to get it done. So, I called them and what it ended up costing me was another $43.

    I saw mice in my house. The first Hawx tech that came, I was not impressed. He did not go into my garage. I told him the garage is the main area that the mice were in. He said he didn't need to go in the garage because he had put bait outside. I called Hawx back and they sent a manager out and that was much better.     The only thing that I’m worried about was the carpenter ants. Either Hawx controls that or the weather takes care of that well. They came out, went through the piles of dirt and executed the ants. And either because of that or the cold weather made the mounds go away. So, I'm very happy with the way they handled it.     The only issue that I had is that when I signed up with Hawx Pest Control, I was under the impression that for the first few weeks they would come every three days. That is what the gentlemen said. But when I called to see if they would come back within three days, the lady told me that they don't do that. It’s every three months. So, I don't know if it was as far as the salesman just trying to get me to get Hawx, which is fine because I needed them anyway. But as far as them coming to the house and servicing it, it was perfect. The gentleman came a week ago and he was able to catch one mouse. He wanted to come back in a week to schedule an appointment.     My son-in-law saw signs that we have termites and he put some traps in, but he strongly suggested we contact a pest control company. Hawx set a time that they would come and they were here at the beginning of the window. Now, we do not have signs of termites that I know of. The tech also treated for other pest. He told us it would take a couple of weeks but we had some cockroaches the first few days after he treated. I don't know whether he drove them inside or what.

    When the guy came in, he was very thorough, and told me what he was doing and what kind of products were being used outside and inside the house.     The guy that came out took care of the ants in a day and we haven't seen it since then. He was supposed to come back last week but that's my fault for not following up. It's been a good response. He took value in his job and the company. I could see that they take value in it as well with having the right products to take care of the ants and such. It's been positive and wonderful.     Setting up the appointment was super easy. There was a very caring girl on the other end. They have good customer service qualities. The first girl that answered had to send me to the sales department. It was very polite and friendly. Once I got to the sales and the girl asked what my problem was. She listened and cared, and that speaks volumes to me as being a business teacher, specifically in hospitality. You can see the smile in their voice even though it's on the phone.

    Signed up for outdoor pest control. Showed up for first appointment. No pest resolved. Called them a few weeks later. They said they would come out.. They canceled the appointment. Pushed it for two weeks.. When two weeks went by. Canceled again. I called everyday to get them Out. They finally showed sprayed and nothing happened with my pest problem. I called and they said takes two weeks.. Never in my life have I experienced such a batch of liars.. Next month. Same thing. No show.. I call. They scheduled appointment. Just to call back day before or day of to cancel and push another two weeks away multiple times.. Called again. Same routine.. Got them out once more. And no results.

    I called another company (I didn’t say anything about Hawx). Got all my needs handled. They sprayed. I had instant results. All pest problems cared for and no issues 4 months later.. In those 4 months Hawx still has arrived to do pest control and I had a monthly schedule for 1 year subscription they said I signed up for which I didn’t ever see or hear about when having them agree to do the job.

    We pay Hawx by the month and the rep didn't show up. So, I called and asked why, they told me that we don’t have pests in the winter months so they don’t come out and to call them if we want something done and they will make arrangements to do it. But that wasn't what I was led to believe and I wasn't aware of that at all. We have to be with it a year and at the end of that year, I'm gonna cancel. One of their reps left our backyard, the fence, open and our dog got out. I had told them in the past to make sure they close the gate. But other than that, they're nice and very polite. I just wasn't happy with the way that they're doing things.

    Hawx Pest Control cleans some spider webs outside. Initially, I saw flies control on their website, so I reached out to them. They sprayed something, but they didn't find the source. I hope they can help me because the issue is still in my house but with the spider part, I'm happy with them. Their automatic scheduling has worked well, but the last time, they made a reschedule because they sent me some email that the guy is very busy. It was the next day. I told them, “I'm free. Okay.     When I first signed up with Hawx, my understanding was that because of California alone, they can come and spray every month. So that's become on a quarterly basis. They gave me the dates. Then when the time comes, they just remind me. When they first came, they let me know they were gonna spray the front and the back. Then when they were done, they also let me know. After the first spray, I could see the number of ants going down gradually. Right now, I don't have any ants.

    I talked with somebody with Hawx and we had some scheduling conflicts, so I couldn't get anybody out.     It was very easy to schedule the service. They answered the phone and then scheduled me immediately. They were very punctual. They came out right away. When I asked them to come out a second time, they came out right when I needed them. So, they were really good in that way. But for the first visit, they only spent about 10 minutes there and then they sent me a report of everything they did. I don't live in that house. But when we had exterminators come to the house that I lived in, they were there for about 45 minutes. But this house that Hawx treated was larger than my house. So, I'm questioning how they could do everything that they said they did and everything that needed to be done in 10 minutes. The second visit was the same thing. They were only there for 10 minutes. But with the second visit, they were gonna check the traps and just go around and check things, so 10 minutes was reasonable.

    Services were great until February when I noticed we were being billed still and no one had been out. When calling to cancel services and when we stated reasoning why the lady let us know they continue to charge your card monthly even though they haven't been out. That this is how they offer you such a great deal throughout the year. WHAT REALLY. That is absurd. We also were informed we would be charged 250.00 to cancel. Lesson learned.     The agents from Hawx that come by have been good but the way they got us into the company was a little sketchy. The agent who signed it up seemed like he was being honest but he was very persistent. They said it's $49, which was what made me switch over, but it's kind of tricky because it's $49 monthly for services every other month. Why are they charging every other month if they're not coming all the time? I called them but they wouldn't let me out of the contract. I wish that they were a little bit more honest or that they could do something about their wording. Also, they charge extra for rodent services, which I didn't really appreciate, but I understand because it was something different. But with the other company I was with, it was all within the service. I went from paying $49 a month to 80 a month now for this rodent service.

    I wanted to get rid of the rats. So I signed up with Hawx and they sent someone over. But the one that came this morning told me that he did not treat this house for rats, and that he treated it for pest. But what I specified was rat. On top of that, I said, “Go ahead with the pest and then we'll do one contract.” But the one that came this morning put out traps and he did a lot of work around here. He said he was going to charge me an extra $25 a month for the rat traps and that I owed him $75 this morning, which I told him, “Let me talk to your boss.” His boss said, "Yeah, that’s what I had to do." I told them, "No, I wasn't gonna do that because I specified that I wanted the rat.” So he looked up on the files and he said, “You're right.” The guy this morning and the one that I talked to on the phone were in cahoots. They were trying to get $75 out of me this morning, and $25 towards my contract, which the other guy might have kept.

    Hawx Pest Control came out to take care of the spraying in the house. I told them that I have a light German cockroach infestation starting. I've been having Terminix for the last year and a half. They haven't gotten rid of them so I terminated my contract with them and called Hawx, and they came out and sprayed. I'm not noticing much of anything. Everything's a lot better. They were really polite, really nice, and then they're coming out again tomorrow to respray the house and do what they need to do so that it can get taken care of. The technician was really chill. He did their own inspection and said, “What you do have going on is behind your refrigerator. We're gonna take care of it. Don't worry.” He put some traps out. He sprayed. He went around the rest of the house and did what he needed to do and so far, so good.

    I wasn't crazy about the amount that they charged me to first come out. They told me it was gonna be a $600 charge to come out and I said, “I can't pay that. There's no way.” They dropped it down to 300, and I was like, “I can probably do that.” I still felt like that was a lot of money to put in for a first visit. After they came out, I'm seeing a lot more dead pests than I am alive. We keep the house clean. We've been mopping. We've been sweeping. We’ve been making sure everything's put up. So, we're doing what we can on our end, but when I moved in here, it was already a problem.

    If anyone is looking for a pest control company this isn’t the one, they said I will be charged $40 two consecutive months and on the third one $80 because their tech will go under the house and spray, one time they did sprayed under the house since I been with them, but the charges are always been $80, some months they don’t even send a person to spray around but they charged still, tried to cancel the contract but they want to charged me $560, person on the phone told me “is better for you to keep going until contract is done”. I requested a specific inspection in the attic and got charged $40 extra on top of the $80, this company is full of charges and you ask why their tech hasn’t come to your place, customer service doesn’t know. If I would’ve known the level of professionalism from this company I wouldn’t sign a contract with them.

    My father is almost 65 and lives alone in a neighborhood. He has always been a "do it yourself" man. He takes care of all of his home and yard work needed. a male rep came around his neighborhood trying to sell pest control services and my dad rejected the man up front because he did not need a pest control service. The man would not take no for an answer and "convinced" my dad to sign a year-long contract. My dad is not tech-savvy and did not understand what he was signing. My dad was told that he can do a ONE TIME TREATMENT and if he liked it then he could continue using Hawx' services. This was obviously a lie from the rep. My dad refused to give the rep a credit card because he did not want to be charged more than once, so he wrote the man a check.

    My dad did not understand that the check had his routing number and account number on it, so the company was able to continuously charge his account. When we tried calling customer service to explain there has been a mistake and my dad had been lied to, the employee would not give and only told my dad that he had to pay $330.00 to get out of his contract. Eventually after speaking to a few different customer service reps my dad just paid the $330.00 to cancel his account because he did not want to forget about the account and be charged the following year as well.

    Even better... THE ELDERLY/VETERAN NEIGHBOR ACROSS THE STREET FROM MY DAD ALSO GOT CONNED INTO THIS CONTRACT!!! This man's wife ended up calling and arguing with the customer service rep that they had no right to take advantage of this old man like they did and she was able to get out of the contract. Lucky her. These reps need to be trained to take no for an answer and stop preying on our parents and grandparents!

    The first time Hawx came, the technician told me he had never done anything for bedbugs before. He didn't know what he was doing, but somebody came to help him. They treated it but the problem was worse after they treated it than they were before they came. Hawx sent a crew out a second time. It was a better crew. There was three of them that came. One was a manager and two were technicians. As soon as they came in, I could tell they knew what they were doing. They knew what they were looking for whereas the first time, they wandered around then told me to go out so they could spray. The second crew turned over my nightstands in my bedroom, sprayed the bottom and behind, turned over the cedar chest in the other bedroom, sprayed the bottom and the back.

    After they sprayed, the manager told me the sofa and the recliner in the living room had bugs in it and that I needed to get rid of it. I said I would call someone to come and haul it off for me. He said, “If you get that hauled off, I'll send someone out on Monday to treat the baseboards in the living room.” I asked, “You will? It says in the contract you'll come out twice, and this is the second trip.” He said, “I'm a manager. I can make this decision.” I didn't ask for it, but it infuriated me that he volunteered that he would send someone out on Monday. From eight to five o'clock, I sat in that house, waiting for someone to make an appearance, but they did not come nor call. That fee I paid was astronomical. For an old lady living on Social Security, it's going to take me a year to pay it off. I had to put it on a credit card. It was two grand. For a pest service, that's a lot considering it didn't do the trick. The pests are still there. I went to Lowe's and bought some products to treat it myself.

    We had an external garage mouse/rat infestation. I called Hawx for this service only and the customer service rep told me she would charge me $250 for this service and set me up with an annual contract, but told me to call the next month to cancel the contract so that I would not be charged any further amount. The pest control person came out, said it was not rats (and it was because we have images) and cleared the backyard of other "pest" related items that I never agreed to ( including spiderwebs) and put chemical agents around the periphery, again, I did not ask for this work. I did call at the end of the month to cancel, was told I would not be able to for an annual contract, and asked to speak to a supervisor. The supervisor never called me back.

    A new monthly charge was on my bill, I called again to ask to be refunded the amount and to again cancel the contract. The "senior" customer service person cancelled the contract and told me she could not refund the additional $70 that was charged. I have now been overcharged $70, did not receive competent services, and furthermore disrupted the ecosystem I have in the backyard, and customer service was terrible.

    Auto billing my card for services never rendered. They sprayed for bugs once on 6/23 and charged me $40 a month to never show up again. I called and stopped the monthly auto charge to my car in August. They agreed and refunded that $40 which they immediately recharged via auto charge to my card. Now, in November, they auto charge another $120 to my card and charge me another 200 bucks to cancel so I can stop the auto charge. Today they charged me another $200 bucks to stop the auto pay and cancel my account. This company is a scam. Don't bother.

    I used this service for a year beginning in August 2021 mainly for a wasp problem at my home. They had to come back three of the four quarterly visits for second treatments because they were not effective. I contacted the company prior to my final quarterly service and told them that I did not want to renew my contract after my final service in September. In October I received a charge to my account for $48.70. I emailed back and said I cancelled my account and no longer had a contract and had not received a service to even be billed for. I received another email that my account was not cancelled and I needed to call the main office. I emailed back and said I had already called and was not calling again and asked again what I was being billed for. I received no response. Five days later, I received an email that I had a scheduled quarterly service coming up.

    I called and after explaining the situation to one CSR was put on hold for 10 minutes and told I had to talk to a different CSR to cancel. She was rude and told me that the company decided to bill monthly because of a price increase and if I didn't pay the balance she would send it to collections. I told her I didn't have an active account, didn't approve pre-paying and wasn't going to pay for a service I didn't received. I called back the next day to speak to a manager and was sent to an Account Specialist, who told me that I couldn't talk to a manager that he could help me and he told me the same thing. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! If I could give them a negative rating I would! The worst customer service and impossible to cancel a contract.

    The worst experience with them and they won’t allow you to cancel at all unless you pay a crazy fee. Two time I called them about it and they haven’t resolved it and now I’m stuck with them. Very upsetting.

    Attempting to cancel they charged my CC a $240 cancelation fee, twice! They failed to meet the contract to eliminate mosquitoes. I highly recommend not using the service. I texted I would try to protect my neighborhood from unscrupulous b.

    We used this service for a year beginning in July 2021 because we were experiencing an ant problem. This had never been an issue in the 2 years previous after we moved in. Even after the first service, we never saw any improved results, in fact, our ant problem actually become worse and we found that bait traps worked more effectively and only took a matter of 3 days to take care of the ants. For a full year and with quarterly services, there was no improvement. I emailed to cancel our service on September 13th, 2022 and was told I had to call in to cancel. Prior to our next service, scheduled for October 22nd, I recieved a charge to my account on October 13th, 2022 of 44.99/mo.

    I called that very day and asked to cancel. I was put on hold for 25 minutes and once I spoke with the rep, I was told I can cancel but they would not refund me for the charge even though I had not been serviced yet. I asked to speak to a supervisor and was refused, being told I had reached the highest tier and that I could not speak to a manager or the owner because they don't take calls. I feel it's ridiculous I'm being charged for a service I do not want when the service has not even taken place when previous services were not effective.

    A guy came to my house and said they would bundle inside and outside for $39. Instead I got a $39 bill for inside and a $39 bill for outside. Didn't help to complain so to stop the scam I cancelled service. Now they hit me for a $450 cancellation fee. Stay away from these scam artists.

    I wish I had known about this site PRIOR to my unpleasant experience with this company. I was sold this service by a door-to-door salesperson. It was supposed to be for one time, not a year. Unable to cancel without a fee.

    They came door to door. Promised a service, spent a short period of time and stated the fogger ran out. Was promised they would return to complete services but never did. When we called Thomas, the tech and person who rang our doorbell, we received no response. We called to cancel the service and was told we would have to pay a $500 cancelation fee. The office is rude and of no help. They have your credit card on file and can charge you for services not done and a cancelation.

    The overall service was as stated and the initial inspection and service were able to take care of my pest control problem. Paperwork had been sent over but somehow it was lost in the mix. To my delight, a quick phone call resolved the issue and the company went above and beyond by making the correction and sending an email confirmation of the correction.

    This operation is a bad business. I agreed to try their service based on a door-to-door salesperson, and after three months it has had absolutely no effect. The claimed benefits of eliminating spiders and roaches have not occurred. And BEWARE, they will charge you a $400 cancellation fee if you try to get out of their service. This was not disclosed by the door-to-door salesperson. I am taking Hawx to small claims court over this matter. This is what you get for being polite and giving a door-to-door salesperson a chance. Very deceptive.

    For those of you considering Hawx, take a close look at the other reviews here. Different people using precisely the same words. These are fake reviews. I've retained a lawyer and will be taking Hawx to Gwinnett County magistrate court...compensatory and punitive damages, and I'm advised this is an open and closed case. Hopefully others here who have been deceived by Hawx will do the same.

    We've had a VERY DISAPPOINTING experience with HAWX PEST CONTROL. They have treated for fire ants several times and it has done no good. When I called to cancel service, they failed to warn me we would "lose our promotional discount" of $250 and be charged for it. No one we spoke with would give us a refund. It's "just their policy" and we "should have known from the service agreement we received". I understand their legal position, but it doesn't excuse the professional discourtesy of not advising a customer of charges if they cancel, at the time they request to stop service. We would not have done so, had we known we would be paying to.

    PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE. I had this company provide pest/bug control for over a year at our home. I paid $89 a quarter and they came out every 3 months to provide the service. After over a year of regular service and billing, I was enrolled in their monthly plan without my knowledge. This monthly plan is $40 a month. That is an increase from $356 to $480 a year without my knowledge.

    When I called to have this change explained to me, they were EXTEREMELY rude and said the change to a monthly plan had been emailed to all their customers, however, they have been hearing that the email went to many customers spam folders. So they admitted that there was a flaw in their own system. I canceled my subscription with them. However, I had already been charged my $40 monthly fee for a service that was NEVER performed. When I asked for a refund they refused to do so. I have since contacted my credit card service and they have disputed the charge and flagged this company as a scam. Please do not use this service.

    Let's start with facts, I am a disabled woman on a monthly fixed income and I was scammed by this company. Two months ago while getting out the car from shopping, a well dressed young man walked up telling me about the company. He told me it was his brother's company. Then he spoke a good about getting rid of mosquitos and flies. I informed him I could not afford it. He ended uptalking me into what I thought was a $39 monthly fee.

    The initial job was great. The next month they hit my account for $85 plus $39. Two guys came and were done in fine minutes. When I call to find about the money, I was told that I signed a contract for $85 and was told it was too bad I had to pay$200 for two different accounts to cancel. I can't believe how I was scammed! Disabled and elderly beware. I will be contacting the Disability Board.

A guy knocked at door and said he is working in neighborhood and if I want pest control for $39, I said ok for one time pest control and later they started billing every month and now have to pay $250 for cancellation.     They do not do what they tell you when you sign up. I have to call after every visit to do again. They don't come to service until late evening which is very inconvenient. If you try to cancel they want to charge you a crazy amount of money. If someone knocks on your door to sell you this service my advice is DECLINE.

    Signed up with them because we moved into a new house and we're having ants. They said they would send someone out but I had to cancel the appointment due to an emergency. When I did they told me I would be contacted to reschedule. No one called. I called multiple times and left messages. No one called. It's been weeks, no contact. Meanwhile the ants went from a few to infesting every floor. There are flying ants now. They are establishing a colony in our house and our pest control service is nowhere to be found!

    I managed to cancel the contract with them. They charged me over $100 for their failure to service my contract whatsoever. If you are their customer you literally have to pay for their mistakes, gross negligence, and misconduct. They didn't even have the decency too to waive the fee as an apology for delivering absolutely zero service and leaving my house infested. Had they done so I probably would have just let it go and skipped writing a review but the absolute disrespect after they completely failed me was too much. I went down and bought the products I needed and was able to get rid of the infestation myself. I highly advise avoiding this company.

    Service and then they would cancel services. Now 6 months later I am being told there is an early cancellation charge. Seeing others in this same dilemma that charge could potentially be $200. I am being ripped off by a very unscrupulous salesman and company for something I didn’t even want in the first place.     I would never recommend this company. I’ve had nothing but trouble with them. Whenever I try and call to solve a problem I get disconnected and have to call again at least three times every time. I don’t know if they do it on purpose or what but it’s ridiculous. They messed up with my billing, they created a second account in my name and tried to charge me again, it took me a while to get that straightened out and after three disconnections finally someone helped me.

    When the product didn’t work for more than a week we called to have them come back. It took two weeks to get an appointment and they canceled that because they said my bill wasn’t paid but I paid three months in advance with a check. But after five weeks of arguing with them they finally found the person that had my check and was still holding onto it and finally straightened out my bill and only then would they come back and still were not happy with the product. Their fast talking sales person that comes to your door shows you on his tablet pages and pages and pages of the contract that I am sure most people never read because it would take forever there’s gotta be 20 pages when you sign your signing a year contract. I will never recommend this company to anyone. In fact I would warn you to stay away. I’ve had nothing but problems with this company.

    What I was told at my door and what is actually happening is completely different. I was told I would be charged quarterly when I mentioned I am a senior on a fixed income. The sales person lowered the initial price he quoted and said I would be charge quarterly. I just called and this is a MONTHLY charge that was in the contract that I never received and NOW I will be charge another $200.00 to cancel this worthless service. Don't be fooled by these schemers. Reading some other reviews it looks like I wasn't the only one that was lied to. I also complained about the mosquitos in my patio the NIGHT my home was service, of course nothing was done.

    Hawx Services came to my door last month about the 9th or 10th. This is a lawn spraying service for bugs etc. Well the guy tells me that it's 39.99 quarterly. So yeah ok I signed up. They supposedly sprayed my lawn and took payment for spraying it on July 13th. Ok all is fine and well. I log into my acct this morning and lo and behold they have taken another 39.99 from my acct because according to them they have changed the billing cycle and sent letters that apparently has gone to everyone's spam folder (this is what the guy told me).

    I told him I want to cancel right now and I want my money back today. He put me on hold to send me to the cancellation department. After 15 minutes I hung up and called the local number. I finally spoke to a girl there and she said I signed up for monthly and that is what my contract said. I told her no that is not what I signed up for and I want to cancel. She refused to cancel it. I went to the bank and canceled my card and disputed all pending charges.

    In May a salesperson came to my house and said they were in the area and could spray my house for $49.99. I usually do this myself because if I still have bugs then I know I just need to do a better job. But I was getting ready to be gone for 2 weeks so I agreed to a $50.00 one time service. I just found out yesterday the salesperson had me sign a year long contract where I am billed $49.99 every quarter for the year. I called them and they said the best they could do was drop my payment by $10.00 a billing period and give me a $30.00 credit. This place should not be in business and I really hope someone eventually gets concrete proof of their illegal sales practices and they get shut down.

    I was a customer for 4 years (2018) until today 7/28/2022. Almost every time they sprayed, I called them to spray again because they couldn’t get rid of the spiders. I tried to cancel in that first year but the cancellation fees were too high & I gave them a pass because they said they used organic products. The last time they sprayed, the gentleman told me honestly there’s nothing they can do for spiders. I paid the $100/quarterly fee faithfully. I called on 7/14 or 7/15 to cancel because their product was ineffective for my needs. The person I spoke to never processed my account. A rep showed up & I had to turn him away. He said that was his 2nd such issue for the day with dispatch not letting him know. I apologized to him & he left.

    Today I noticed a $49.99 charge on my account that I was billed for on 7/14. I called and they told me my account was not cancelled. Karen in billing then told me I was sent notification that they would start charging a monthly fee of $49.99 & I was supposed to opt out by June 28th. She said they can’t reimburse me as a result. 4 years of dealing with a subpar product. 4 years of dealing with hit or miss customer service. For that, I expected understanding and to get my $50 back. I will never recommend this company to anyone. Do better Hawx. Be better hawx.

    On 24 June salesman came to my door and said they were in neighborhood doing pest control and had some supplies left over. Would do my house for one time charge of $49.99. If I needed them later they would honor that price. I paid with debit card. In July 26 a charge of $49.99 was taken out of my bank account. I called and they said I had a year contract with them. I explained what happen and that I never received and paper work from them. I told them I wanted to cancel. They charged me $200 to cancel my account.

    This company had a door-to-door salesperson who lied about what we were going to get. Turns out the monthly charge is twice what they quoted and we cannot get out of the contract! I should have stayed with Orkin as they do not have a contract. I figure that's how Hawx keeps their customers. It's just like the horrible gym contracts. We would have to pay hundreds of dollars to cancel which the salesperson never said AND they count on people NOT reading the contract. So we are stuck with them and we hate the company. Nothing worse than having a service provider that you hate, but they don't care as long as they can debit our credit card every month. This was such a scam. Buyer beware!

    June - I just want to let everyone know that this company of charlatans is not at all what they say. First of all, the representative who came to my neighborhood sold me on a "one-time" spraying for $89 discounted from their usual almost $300 fee and to let them know if things were not up to what I expected. I received a call today reminding me of a spraying tomorrow. I contacted customer service to cancel what I did not agree to due to the lies of the rep and was basically told "sorry about your luck." I could either keep the service or pay the remainder of the discounted fee from last month. So, long story short. They lie and don't care about what you tell them. They only believe the "contract" you supposedly sign that I have yet to receive.

    July UPDATE - Spoke with Hawx today in regards to "making things right" as the company recommended after my Google review. I STILL HAVE NOT RECEIVED A COPY OF THE CONTRACT AS I WAS TOLD. Again, I was given the shaft. I called to compromise with a quarterly spraying or cancel out of this frivolous endeavor as the monthly spraying is not only overpriced, but does NOT control ants as promised. I told them today if I have to pay to cancel then I will but I prefer not to thanks to their ineptitude. The lady said "your contract is cancelled now." She did not tell me if she was charging me or not, but did charge me without my consent. Instead of charging me the $280 as previously quoted, they instead charged me over $400. This business is AT BEST worthless. I have reported them to the BBB as fraudulent and a scam. I hope others heed my words and greet them at the door with a boot straight to the pants.

    I would not recommend this company. They have fast talking hard pitched sales people. I was promised my roach problem would be gone. They so called sprayed barely and yep the bug problem was worse and caused an ant infestation. When I called to cancel my contract and told them not to charge me any more they had to call me back with an account specialist. Well they charged me any way and I had to call back because they never called me. Argued with me that they probably called and I just didn't answer my phone (WHAT?).They charged me like over $150.00 to cancel early and did nothing to work with me on that. I have read the reviews on the internet and they are not nice to do business with. I think they have a terrible reputation and please look elsewhere for pest control services. I have lost my faith in them and told them I was writing my experiences on the internet, they didn't seem to care at all.

    Very pushy door-to-door salesmen. Always lie telling us they're working on a neighbor's house. The only problem is I know my neighbors they pointed at and they said they told them no as well. These same salesmen come by every so often, If you insist on going to do door to door please have some kind of database of houses that already said no. Otherwise, you will have these super negative reviews all over the internet. This is the 4th time I've said not interested and now I will post on every single internet review board until you get the point.

    SCAM ARTISTS TO THE EXTREME. The man was going door to door offering a one time treatment. The next month I received a charge. When I called the office to find out what the charge was for, I was told it was my monthly service fee. I then explained that I did not sign up for service and that the guy said a one time treatment. Charlene then told me that they have a signed agreement and the contract was valid. I asked who signed it, she stated there was a signature and that it was valid. I told her that I did not sign anything, she then asked if I had proof that I didn't sign it. I asked her if she has proof that I did, anyone could have signed it.

    She went on to say I had three days after signing to cancel or else there is a cancellation fee. I again told her that I did not sign up for anything. She repeated that the contract is valid and did I have proof of not signing. I said this is not going to end well and I will see what my cc company has to say. I then hung up and not even five minutes later she processed the cancellation fee.

    Please...Please DO NOT use this company! About a month ago, my house was being overrun by ants. I researched pest control companies and read the company reviews (on Google.. Ugh!). Hawx had great reviews...yes I stopped there and called for a one time application. The person on the call tried their hardest to "sign me up" for the monthly payment of $50 and $149 initial application. I repeatedly, said no, one application.

    Finally, the person said they could be out the next day and it would be $249.99 for the one time application (should have stopped there!). The guy (not professional at all) showed up the next day, showing my wife and I the products he would be applying. He stated it would take two maybe three weeks to get rid of the ants. Almost a month later the ants are worst than ever!! I researched how to kill the ants, went to Lowe's bought $30 worth of product, applied it and 48 hours later...guess what NO ANTS. Stay away from this business! I will be contacting the AG, the BBB, and file a fraud report with my Credit Card company. Good Luck! Bill

    We had poor service and when approached by a different vendor we called to verify our contract and were told we did not have a contract and there would not be a cancellation fee. Based on that information we signed with another provider. The next day we were contacted by Hawx retention department and told we would be charged $199.99 cancellation fee. Because we acted upon what we believed was credible information I believe they should honor what we were told. The information was given to us on a recorded line and even after listening to the person tell us we had no contract they said we were still liable.

    Very unscrupulous company, do not believe anything they tell you verbally. They will make things sound wonderful. Their only goal is to get you to sign a contract full of fees they can charge to you and continue to charge you even after the service is cancelled, discontinued, or not done. This is one of the best catfishing schemes out there, it is well planned and expertly executed. DO NOT FALL FOR IT, DO NOT SIGN ANY CONTRACTS, DO NOT GIVE THEM A CREDIT CARD NUMBER (not even for a one time service). Their service, if actually completed, is ineffective and will not solve your problem.

    A rep was going door to door, had a special price for just that day. Had me sign what I was told was authorization to spray just THAT day. What I signed was a one year contract, to be paid UP FRONT. They lied to me. They finally sent the “agreement” to me via email and I read the cancellation policy and promptly followed their guidelines to cancel, in writing to a specific email address. Which I did the VERY SAME DAY. Since then they harass me for payment, by phone and email. I’ve informed them over and over and over that I cancelled and have forwarded my cancellation email to them again but still they persist in harassing me for money I DO NOT OWE. I’ve relayed this to the BBB and my state’s Attorney General’s office. They should not be able to inflict their deceptive, abhorrent business “practices” any longer. My advice to consumers is to find a reputable pest control company because HAWX is NOT reputable and is a scamming business.
