Guardian was recommended to me. The customer service has been great. They switched out the existing sensors in the home that we purchased. It's been pretty easy. The tech was very knowledgeable and nice. I think he had it actually in his own home. We didn't have it for the first few nights and it definitely feels more secure now that it's set up. It's also much more high tech than the one that was already in the home. You can use the app on your phone to set and disarm. It's very easy to learn. The only thing I wish it would have come with was more motion sensors. The standard package was just window and door sensors.

Guardian worked with my home builder and I met their salesperson at the construction site where we walked around and talked about all of our options and the very things we could do. When they initially installed the system, the builder forgot to contact Guardian and they started drywalling the house. The builder didn't want to tear everything apart so they asked Guardian to install things externally. Instead of having the sensors internal to the door, they were put on the outside of the door. They didn't look nice and they didn't function well. So we made the builder go back and he admitted it was their fault.
Guardian came in and rewired. They did a really good job because we initially thought they were going to have to tear a lot of the drywall out and redo some walls. But they didn't need to do that and they were able to rewire everything with very minimal disruption and very quickly too. The installation wasn't ideal but it wasn't their fault. We weren't also charged for that.
The system works well and it does what we need it to do. It works for us and we were happy with their assistance. We recently had a service issue where the software needed to be updated and they handled that well. I also use their phone app to turn the system on since I don't always do it at the station. I frequently do it after I leave the house. I turn it off from time to time when I'm coming home. It's nice to have that flexibility.
We had some false alarms but they fixed everything. But it was nice when we were on vacation to at least get those alerts and know that something was going wrong. There is peace of mind that goes along with knowing that when the alarm sounded whether it was by accident or through those faulty alarms. It's nice to know that we're being alerted when something's happening at home.

As far as the system goes, Guardian has been fine. We have gotten some other things through them. We've gotten a speaker system through them. The outside speaker doesn't work now. So, we needed to call them because they were the ones that brought the equipment. Besides that, we got this music system, and for some reason, it just shuts off at times. But I know it could be related to the internet, with Comcast. We haven't had any issues with Guardian. The system features and the response are fine and they're sufficient for what we need. The pricing is the only thing that seems to be at a whack. It's more expensive than other services that are being offered now.

I didn’t even want a security system and I tried to get out of it. But I really liked the guy that sold Guardian Protection to me so I stayed with it. I still have my old monitoring system sign out in front and then he just started asking me questions. Before I knew it I was signed up. It was already a done thing and the same night they had installers out and so I had people in my house until 9:00 at night. I think that is just too pushy. I wasn't happy about that part but other than that it went okay.
The contract was going to be five years and I’m not a contract person, and that’s the only reason right now that I kind of would want to get rid of it. They lowered it to three years, which is a little bit better. But knowing I have to keep this for three years, whether I lose my job or I don’t, scares me. I haven’t completed everything with it. The main thing I wanted was my security camera out front and they’re supposed to come today to do that. I sleep good at night knowing that if my downstairs window was opened I would hear it. So I’m happy. Guardian Protection gives me peace of mind because I know I'm safe.

I used Spartan before, which was very small, and Guardian ended up taking over their monitoring service. Since then, I've been with Guardian from the mid-90s and I love them. Everything has been done professionally and I have no interest in leaving Guardian. The sales representatives have been excellent and were very helpful when I’ve talked to them on the phone. I upgraded my system two or three years ago and they came in and made it more of a wireless system than just the wired system, and they’ve been very responsive. The installation of the upgrade was perfect. The tech was very professional. He looked around and I explained to him what I wanted and we did it. I also like that I can access it via my phone or iPad to check on the status of the system. I've been very pleased with the system's quality, and I've been totally satisfied with their expertise. I’m going to stay with Guardian.

Guardian Protection Services has been really great. We used ADT before but I like Guardian much better. I like the personal touch and the level of service that was provided. Because this is a new built, we were able to customize options about the level of service that we were looking for. The initial person that we worked with was Tori and he actually was working with Ryan Homes to coordinate everything. They also gave us a call pretty promptly to set up an appointment with Tori and then Tori took the time to basically go through all of our options, so he went room by room explaining what they could install, and what our security options were. Then from there, they provided finalization of our services. He provided information on the contract. It was very thorough, very detailed, and pretty much knew what to expect.
The technicians who did the installation were great too. They were very helpful and very knowledgeable. I really like the online dashboard and the app. I haven’t had to use it yet, thankfully, but it looks like it’s pretty good system. My favorite feature that I didn’t know was the alternative codes that, let’s say somebody’s following you in your house, you can punch to secretly alert the authorities.
We also have smart features for our garbage. But since we just moved in, we haven’t used the garage very much lately. We moved in about a week before the technician was able to come out. So, I just feel a lot better having the security system in and on and working. Overall, it was just a really good experience. I really appreciate the honesty that the technicians that Tori provided as far as not trying to upsell us too much on things and just letting us know our options and then letting us know that if we wanted to add anything later down the road, we could. So, it’s very low pressure and everybody is really friendly and very forthcoming.Really positive!

I moved and I just thought the other company was too expensive. My agent set me up with a security advisor and he gave me a rundown of different companies I could use and I just picked Guardian. It seemed to have a plan fit with what I was looking for. But my negative point is that the installer didn't leave any signs or decals to show that we have security service so when I talked to the Guardian person yesterday I mentioned that.
I wanted something that I could have a security system if I wasn't at home. And then I guess I got the iPhone. I get a warning when I'm not on the house at night. And then I think there's an app here that I can do things from my phone remotely if I need to. I'm happy with Guardian Protection and with what we have. Guardian Protection alerts us when the door is open. So that's always good to at least know when that happens.

I used Guardian Protection where I worked before and I chose to personally use them because of an offer I received. Their representatives are very professional and courteous. They made every attempt not to drag anything into the house and just explained everything very well. Even the technician is very good. He was on time as expected and he showed us all the steps of what he was doing and how everything worked, and explained the boards. The technician knew exactly what he was talking about and was very efficient setting it up.
I felt good about the system. I like the remote, the key fob item and the connection to the cellphone like the cellphone alert. The system seems to do what I wanted it to do. We've enjoyed the service and we've had excellent experience. We’ve had Guardian Protection Services for quite a few years and it’s just been a great experience. I highly recommend them.

I've had Guardian's basic alarm for two weeks and the overall quality has been good. However, we had ADT in our previous home and there were some features that ADT had that I liked that Guardian doesn't have. Also, occasionally it beeps when no door is open and we've been trying to figure out what that is, but other than that, it's been fine.

I've had Guardian for 15 years and everything has been fine. I've thought about upgrading it sometime, but I haven't taken the time to do that. I would recommend them.

Guardian is a great outfit and I like it very much. It made all the difference in the world to me. Everybody was cooperative and during the installation, I had a very nice fellow who seemed quite capable. I'm 80 years old and I was going to buy a gun because I was so worried about home invasions and people on drugs. But now, I don't ever think about that and I feel completely safe.

The representatives of Guardian Protection were polite, courteous and professional. They are doing the installation at my new townhome. They came in with the site manager and the system features are very nice. I like all the notifications you can get. So far so good and it was what we expected. But I’m still waiting for them to finish a few things and hopefully they’re going to be back soon to finish up what they need to do.

Customer service at Guardian has been good. The touch pad is great and I like being able to alert the firehouse. We've had it set off twice, and it gives us peace of mind. However, in the past five years, there have been other options that have come up. Now our contract is coming to an end, and our concern now is if the price is going to go up.

When we signed up for Guardian home security in the summer 2016 it was when we were approached by a door to door salesman. We were nervous at first, especially after hearing how you were locked in for a 36 to 60-month contract but after being assured by the salesman that if we ever needed to pause the service at any time, we could do so and just pick up where we left off, be it at a new house or by transferring the system over to a new homeowner. We thought this was a good option since we were first-time homeowners and had never lived in the city before so we signed up. January of 2018 we needed to trim some things from our budget, and decided to place our home security on hold.
We called up the company and they told us that they don’t ever place a system on hold unless it’s during a move or for a natural disaster. We were confused since this wasn’t what we were told when given the sales pitch. The company then tells us that they subcontract out to another company called AMT for sales and installation but after the first year it reverts solely to Guardian. So basically the AMT salesmen can say whatever they want and Guardian doesn’t have to honor it. We are still waiting on resolution in this matter.

Guardian is better compared to my old security system. I feel more secure knowing and seeing when the door open and close. I don’t have to go back to look if the alarm is going off by itself. I can also manually set it or I can use my key thing. So far, I haven’t had any problems with it. It’s a wonderful thing to have. It’s just what I need and I'm going to continue to keep it.
However, I've been trying to get updates to see different security systems because I think that it'll work well if it would have been ADT. Some places are cheaper and this is my first time paying this type of money. But, I think it's worth it. In addition, the rep I talked to when I was getting the system was nice and she showed me a lot of the advantages and different things that I could have. The installation team was fantastic, too.

The Guardian system and their people are great. Everyone on their team was very nice and helpful. The guy who installed the system was really good, quick, very nice, and knowledgeable. My husband liked having the doorbell camera. It is a nice feature so we can see what's going on. Half of the time, it's an actual movement and not just the wind blowing. But there are also little flaws or tweaks in the system. So far, it has been frustrating trying to learn our Guardian system and figure out why it keeps sending notifications. When we first deleted our phone numbers, we were still getting texts of any kind of movement on the porch. The night we had a heavy windstorm, we had 135 notifications the next morning. We thought it was fixed when they came out last week. We just got to call them to be able to try to figure out what was going on with it again.

Guardian compared to Vivint is better. When Vivint was installed, we were limited on a number of the little devices and we could only choose a couple of windows. When the Guardian people came in, they put stuff on windows that we hadn't thought about when we had Vivint. A Guardian representative talked to us and explained everything, and was real nice about it. The gentleman installed everything and went around to change all the batteries and the little control panel. He set up everything and made sure everything was working like it supposed to.
I enjoy the Guardian system more because when I open up the front or back door, I'll hear a ding-dong like a doorbell and it will say "front door" or "back door". With the old system we just had "front door" or "back door", no ding-dong. We also got an extra feature that the Vivint didn't offer us, little pendants we can wear. If we're outside and fall off or get hurt, and no one else have heard, I can push the pendant's button and it will notify them that there's an emergency and a need for medical help. My phone can be hooked up to the system too, to let me know if something happens. Guardian is excellent. I'd tell friends that it's a good service and the cost is reasonable. They also sent me a check to make up the difference for the rest of the three or four months left on my Vivint program. They've called me and asked me about it, and I told them I wanted a different system.

My husband passed away and there are a lot of things I have to figure out that my husband did like all the bill paying and the online accounts. And I moved to a new house, which we had started earlier in the summer. There's a Guardian Protection system in the new house that's turned on and protecting it. But my husband was the one who initially signed the document with Guardian so they won't even talk to me. The service tech who came out to set up the system handed me something and he said it was the login for my system but it was my husband's email address. I told him that he had to change that and put my email address in there. But he said he couldn't do that and that I just had to go online and do it. But that was one of my other issues because I didn't have internet.
I can't even log into it and I don't know how. Guardian is giving me a hard time about everything and it's frustrating the heck out of me. They should be bending over backward to make it easy for me. They should say that they would take care of me but they haven't. Whatever set of rules they have that they're following is not helpful. They said they needed a death certificate but that was pretty ridiculous. Maybe they're responsible for protecting the person who signed the contract, but they ought to be protecting his wife as well.
There's a limited supply of death certificates and there are a lot of people who want one. I don't think I should have to give Guardian one. It's low on the priority list although it might solve all the problems if I just gave them a death certificate. Right now, I'm getting a new insurance on the new carriage home and the company wants a certificate from my security company. But I can't log in right now and I can't print the certificate myself. I'm going to have to go on the phone and call them.

I had bought a home and I was going to get ADT, but Guardian showed up on my door and they were cheaper. The installers showed up at my door the same day and got the installation done in a few hours. However, I wish I would have gotten more sensors for the same price. Some of my windows don't have it, so there're still ways to get in the house without the alarm going off. I also use my smartphone to lock the alarm, but lately it's not been doing it and I don't know the cause.

The sales reps of Guardian Protection Services were friendly and very professional. I showed the guy who was helping me with it where I wanted the camera and where I wanted the pads put up. Once everything was completed then I met with one of their representatives to show me how everything worked. But when they were setting up and showing me how to use the camera I noticed that the representative has a computer and I can actually see the camera set up in my bedroom. My concern was, those people who come out and set it up through their computer, do they get rid of that or do Guardian have access in looking into my home? But overall I’m satisfied with Guardian Protection Services especially with how they worked with me with my needs like the protection it's giving me and my husband. I feel more secure once I arm the system.

The installation of our Guardian system is going horrible. We transferred service when we moved in October. They've been here four times and it's still not finished. And each time, I've been very busy. I have to take my kids to school and pick them up. We only have them come on Friday and it's been a nightmare. I told them they had to wait because it was the holidays. I didn't know they were going to have to come back again. They're nice, it's just not getting the job done. Too many things have happened here and there, like a part was wrong and then another part didn't come in in time. We've been with Guardian for a couple of years and I've had problems here and there with the sensor part of the windows or doors not working. Other than that it's been all right, but I probably wouldn't recommend them.

I had Guardian at my prior residence. Then there was technically a break because I had a few weeks before I was closing on the new house. But it was less than two months. I decided to go with them again because a guy from AMP Security who worked in tandem with Guardian stopped by my new residence. He was very nice, polite, courteous and did not seem like he was running a game. So, I was willing to have a dialogue with him and got a good feeling from him. The two guys that came to install the system were great and answered every question I had. When I bring strangers into my home, it’s nice to have good feelings about them, and these guys totally hit the mark. I'm totally pleased with the features but I just called customer service earlier today ‘cause I was having problems with my video doorbell. Other than that, I'm happy with way it is set up right now.
I recommend Guardian to others all the time. But having an alarm system is just an extra layer of peace of mind as I’ve got two large dogs. The only hiccup I have is that I’m still going through the process of trying to get things cleared up. I was being double billed for the prior residence and the new residence for a couple of months. They’re still working on trying to fix that. But I’m having faith that it would be resolved.

One of my customers told me about Guardian Protection Services. They were good in answering my questions and in installing the system, which took about an hour, as well. I have a security system in my store and a camera that overlooks my entire store. The speaker on our cameras, where you talk to people, is terrible right now as you can't hear what's coming through it. I was told, however, there might be an update coming for that camera. It definitely needs a speaker upgrade in there for sure. But, other than that, everything is great. All the free stuff is pretty cool, and all the home automation stuff is awesome for the price that you get.

I'm satisfied with Guardian Protection Services. They're good for locking your door and using them on the thermostat. So far we haven't had any problems. I feel very secure because I'm a scared person. I was going to work with my husband at 4:00 in the morning 'cause I just feel so nervous and invaded after the break-in. And now as of the end of last week, I started being in the house alone. I don't go at 4:00. I go with 8:30 instead of with him at four. My husband and I were talking about putting cameras on the outside. But that probably would come later on in the future.

The people at Guardian that I've talked to were able to answer my questions and the technicians explained to me everything. I like the security system more than the alarm as the equipment's better. It's a good quality and everything's easier and faster with it. I also have the Guardian app which is good because I can control everything from my phone. I can also see who’s ringing or who’s at home whenever I go.

I was very unhappy with the security company that we used before. Then a guy from Guardian came by and walked up to our door. He came across very well and was very knowledgeable. He knew what he was talking about and why I was disenchanted with our last one. The installer who came out was very knowledgeable and very quick, too.
My wife feels safer having the system though I'm not really enthusiastic about it. But I have to admit that we are a little safer because if anything opens up, it announces in a loud voice. Then if the alarm goes off and we're not home, the system calls the police department. Incidentally, the police may or may not respond depending on the location where you are in the country because some police departments are overwhelmed with false alarms. I like the fire alarm, too, because if it goes off, it will inform the fire department. It's also a very nice feature to have if you're not home.
Then we have these little pendants which we can use to call for help if we get injured at home. It's good especially to older people like ourselves. If somebody falls, can't get up and need help, but nobody's around, we can use that. But whether or not you're going to get help is anybody's guess, given that the police departments in certain parts of the country don't respond to stuff like that. But that's a problem with all systems and I don't how it can be solved. I know that some people have these button alarms that they carry with them so, if they fall outside the home, they can use it to call for help. But that doesn't help much anyway because if the police department is overwhelmed with calls like that, they're not going to respond anyway. But that's in the future. For right now, I like the system and it's functioning okay. One thing has gone wrong and Guardian replaced it right away. So, I've been happy, so far.

The sales guy that came over with Guardian was pretty upfront and honest about all the fees. I made it clear to him that if a credit needed to be run, that was going to be a very big deciding factor. And if it was going to need to be run, I wasn't interested in the service. He called his manager on the spot and his manager said, "As long as you're able to provide me a copy of the credit report that was run within the last 90 days. So, I gave him a credit report for the house.
I had no issues and he did a very good job. We have everything except the doorbell camera which pretty much all that was said and that one was if I change the Wi-Fi name, I would have to contact Guardian so that they can charge me another $50 to update the info. I definitely feel secure. I've had a couple of false alarms while I open the door. I forgot to disarm them. But I'm enjoying it. I haven't had an issue with it but if it was possible to monitor on the PC rather only on the phone app that would be pretty special.

I’ve been happy with everything with Guardian. It was convenient for me to sign up with them for my security system since they were working with my builder where I was going to be moving. I met with someone and they presented all of the options and features for the home automation, and then I chose what I wanted. Someone came to set up everything last July, showed me how it worked, and I’ve been fine since then. I use their app every day and it is my favorite feature. With it, I am able to unlock and lock my doors, my garage and watch things from home. I also enjoy my surround sound, my cameras, and the video doorbell.
But as far as performance, I’ve had quite a few technical issues already and I just don’t know how these things are happening. I’ve had a lot of issues with the video doorbell. People not being able to hear me when I try to answer it from away. I’ve called to troubleshoot a couple of times and I’ve had someone to come and check on it. He tried to help as best as he could, but it was really nothing he could do. He said something about the Wi-Fi signal, but I have really good Wi-Fi, so there’s nothing wrong with my signal.
When the technician left, it was working, but it’s still spotty so I don’t really know what to do about that. And the cameras have come offline, and I had to call and troubleshoot that also and go into the hardwiring and reset it. But as long as everything is up and running, I feel very safe. And it’s very convenient to be able to monitor what’s going on when I’m not there.

Compared to my previous one, the Guardian system is wireless. I liked their salesman. The technician did his job, explained everything, and left. With Guardian, I feel safe at night. I turn it on and away we go. Also, one thing we like about it is it's on the cellphones. I can arm and disarm it on my way home or before I come in the house.

We’ve been using Guardian Protection Services for some years. They do our commercial fire control systems and our alarm systems in our commercial properties so we just started using them in our rental properties also. The sales guy, Jeff, is amazing. However, their customer service is not so great when you call and get some things done. We have 10 properties with Guardian. And for some reason, they just started combining all our properties into one big bill and it took forever to keep explaining to Guardian over and over again that each property has its own entity. So, that’s about a year of battling with that and they finally got it figured out.
Every time we purchase a property, we just have Guardian put on. For installation, I just call Jeff and let him know that we bought a property and he normally is out the next day or within the next 24 hours installing the system for me. If you to go customer service, you’ll wait weeks and they can be very painful for me and the new alarm.com with the camera system sucks. I tried to get it put on my new commercial property, wherein we have ADT also. At one time, I was going to cancel all my Guardian and come over to ADT because every time I wanted a camera put on, I'd need $300-$500 for a camera and they want everything upfront, they didn’t have any FlexPay. So, I just went out and cancelled the camera system and just went with a regular system and now, I have somebody else do my camera.
We use Guardian's smartphone features but sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. Nonetheless, Jeff is great and he's the main reason why I stayed with Guardian because I can call him and he’s out within the next 24-48 hours. And, if I have a customer service issue, I don’t call the 1-800 number or anybody. I just call him and talk to him and he takes care of everything. Wherein with ADT, I have to wait weeks sometimes to get a system from them. But, ADT’s service is 100 percent better as well as their camera system and there is not a whole lot of extra cost. I just recommended Guardian to my buddy that works for me and he said they did an awful job.

I had a neighbor who had Guardian Protection Services, and they recommended them. I've been with them for more than 20 years now. I had to call them recently to see about changing my payment plan. I had to wait a little while for their reps to call me back, but they were fine and they were just busy. I got two systems now. I had my original system upgraded a few years ago because I had it for over 10 years at that point in time. And my experience with that was fine. The service guy who put the system in my workshop spotted a problem that the salesman didn't realize. And he recommended changing and they did. And it's working fine. When I had everything upgraded, I wanted to be able to look at our system through the phone, but we don't have enough gigabytes to be able to do that. We don't have cable and all our computers are dead slow because we just have phone lines.

We have Guardian Protection Services installed in one of our business locations, and they were a fine choice. We recently took over a location, and after we took it over, we switched providers, from ADT to Tyco, who were awful because they were expensive, proprietary, and their service was lackluster. So, we were looking to switch, and we finally went with Guardian because they were one of the alarms that can lets us, utilize alarm.com, along with our other locations. The sense that we’re not at that location, we have Guardian running between local management and the home office management, and we’ve had a positive experience with their customer service. They’ve gone above and beyond to get everyone on the same page.
Guardian gave us a lot of options, but there was a bit of a communication lapse in terms of intent and purpose. In my understanding, when you program in a name for a zone, it can be certain keywords. So, words like office or garage room, those are all in there. But, if you want something that isn’t there, it should fit within the character limit, which was fine. But sometimes there’s miscommunication in the ability to do that.
We’ve had installation done at different locations with different providers, and one provider actually had a form submitted ahead of time that asked for the names of the zone, along with the character limit built in. So, say the limit is 25 characters, it would be kind of like you're filling up like a personalized license plate. You can fill anything in that space including spaces. You do that ahead of time and then you just give that to the installer, and then, it just happens. But that wasn’t an option with Guardian, and when I called, they told me that they can’t do that. That was the only concern I’ve had at any point, and they made it good. So, that was all resolved. The equipment is working fine now. And other than the technical limitations to the hardware itself, everything is as expected.

When we went to Guardian's design office for Shell. We met David, sat down at a desk and went through what our needs might be. Later, it turned out that he was also the internet person and we didn’t realize initially that he was our connection for any technical needs we had. Things went well and we were pleased. But it was a little unclear at the beginning because we didn’t know that they would be in tandem with another company for the security equipment. Usually, you go outside and shop for that. But that was probably good for Guardian because they got more sales that way.
We met David here when it was pre-drywall and we went around. He was very casual and he would tell us where to put something for easier access. He was good and trustworthy because he’d tell us what we really needed. If it was a carbon monoxide detector, which we didn’t have in the house, or even glass breaking, he would tell us what wasn’t the best feature and what was the best. So, we ended up adding on a couple of things and felt good about it. It was an hour visit and it worked out well. Then the final visit was when their reps came and set up the system. There were two gentlemen here and they were really nice, informative, and showed us how to do everything on the apps. So, that was very pleasant, too. All of Guardian's reps were well-trained, worked quickly, and made the experience easy for us.
The system has fantastic features and they’re really good. I love the smartphone feature. I never had them before so it's fun to be somewhere and check if it still alarms. It’s fabulous because there’s construction going on every side of us and they’re building 30 homes right now. So, if we leave our house for a couple of days, we feel good that no one’s going to come in.

Yesterday, a friend of mine went in the house ahead of me as we were unloading the car, so the Guardian alarm went off. I couldn’t remember the password, but I used my phone and I got it shut off. When the rep came to walk me through it, he set up so I could open the garage door on my iPhone, which was great. I have two cars and both of them have overhead door clickers in them, but they don’t work anymore. I can’t open the doors now. I wasn't happy with the way the rep just left. I contacted him after he left and he was already up in Sarasota, so he couldn't go back to me. I called Guardian today and I want them back here. On the 15th of January between 8:00 and 12:00, they're going to give me a call when they come.
I also paid $695 to have a pre-wire for music, and Guardian never contacted me. I’m setting that up and that needs to be done sometime. Plus it bothers me that every day, I get a text message on my phone saying my alarm wasn’t secured. They constantly remind me that I didn’t set the alarm in the house, but I don't need to do that when I go out shopping. But for what I’ve used Guardian for, it’s good. I can open my garage door from my iPhone if I want to stop and dial it up. And as I’m getting to the house, it’ll open the door and close it for me. Customer service was also great.

Guardian is better compared to my previous security system. Unlike it, I'm able to control my locks, garage, and the security system remotely. Everyone’s been pleasant, helpful, and responsive, and everything about installation was seamless. Technicians were friendly and helpful in explaining everything. It’s convenient to be able to open, close, and lock the doors, and also to arm and disarm the system with the smartphone feature. I would recommend them.

The people that had the house before I purchased it had Guardian. They were sending me some correspondence in the mail over the time I've been here, so I decided to call them to see how much it would be. Also, I don't feel comfortable in the back part of my house and I wanted to put a camera back there so I could see what's going on. The rep gave me a good price monthly so I went with Guardian. At first, he told me it would be $40 a month. I had a roommate at that time, but he abruptly moved out. So I called the rep back and told him that I couldn't financially afford the extra bill. He was willing to work with me and he took it down to $30 a month. Then he told me I only had to do it for a year and I was still able to keep the camera.
The installation was great. The guy was here for about two hours and he really did a good job. I expressed my concerns about the boxes that were on my window and I couldn't really open them as well to clean them. So he switched them out and put some smaller boxes. Then he showed me how I could open my windows with the boxes on. He installed the camera outside and I was happy with the way he did it. Then he got on his laptop, put all the information in, and showed me how to use the camera in the back on my phone. If I wanted to see if somebody was in my yard, I could go backward and see. So he was pretty good and I liked him. The picture on the camera is very clear. But I would have preferred the camera to be installed in a different area so I could see a little bit more. I was always worrying about somebody breaking into my house when I was at work, but now that I have Guardian, I feel more secure. I'm very satisfied so far.

There's one guy from Guardian Protection who got all the equipment set up and walked all us through everything, like how it works and how to fix everything and he was good. The quality of the equipment is also good and it is affordable. But it would have been better if we had the advanced panel for the same price. We are using the Guardian smartphone features and it is easy to use although when you close the app it takes like about a minute to reopen it. I would recommend Guardian services.

So far, Guardian has been a good security system. They have very nice people. Installation went fine, except that our phone jack got screwed up a little bit. But the installer came back out and he fixed it just dandy and we’re very happy. The only thing we couldn’t get is our window stickers, because he ran out of his stickers. But I like the system and I like that I just have to tap a finger. It doesn’t have the buttons on it. It works a lot easier. I also like the idea that I can go on my email and see when we armed it and when we disarmed it. I would recommend Guardian.

The customer service response is much better with Guardian compared to my previous provider. We worked a lot with the Guardian's rep to set up the service and he was great. He answered all of our questions and then he was able to schedule it right away for installation. But the installation team didn't alert us when they were running a little bit late to install it, so we called the rep again and he was able to make sure that everyone was going to be there, and get this thing installed on the day that they said they would. If we're given a timeframe for them to come, they should come within that timeframe or call us and alert us that they will be outside of it. But the gentleman that installed it was very knowledgeable. He installed it within half an hour and then he was able to show us really quick how to use it. Then we were on our own.
The equipment is good and user-friendly. The screen in which you enter your password and everything is very easy to use. It's very well lit. And it's actually very bright if the lights are off, which is nice. I like that you can have the option to silence the exit and that you can create an extended exit. I also like that you can determine if you want a quick stay if you have a pet in the house, or have it all the way if no one is there. Plus, the system tells you the climate outside. We've had a pretty good experience with Guardian. Any issues that we've had has been resolved very easily and we're grateful for that.

I'm a first time home buyer. The homebuilders said that Guardian is the security provider that they are dealing with and it is the company who they recommend so I went with that. The features are fine and I'm satisfied with the system. However, I had a horrible service at first with Guardian and I've been calling them almost every day. I kept in contact with the builder's project manager every day and they were waiting for Guardian to come and install the wiring so that the drywall could be put up. I called Guardian and found out that the sales agent who first came out was no longer with the company. I got another rep, he came out and went over the paperwork which he didn't have at first. He thought that maybe I had a copy which I wasn't given.
Then when they came out to do the wiring, they did it incorrectly. I work from home and I missed work three days because I could not get my cable installed. They ran the wires through and cut a hole into my garage which was not part of the structure and that was not where the wiring was supposed to go to begin with. After three attempts, I had to have Comcast come back out and as they came to my house four times, I got charged twice. I also had to actually have someone to come over and replace the Sheetrock all over again.
Also during my initial sit-down with Guardian, the sales rep told me that they can do this and that and that we would be definitely going to need the WAP service. Then I came to find out months later that I'd be waiting for information from the company so I could sign the papers saying that I don't need what was told to me in the beginning. Also, I had put down specifically with the first representative that I didn't want a garage opener. He told me that the garage opener was part of the package then I found out later that it was an additional charge. When they came to install the home security system, the installer went to install the garage so I said, "No, I didn't ask for that." He said that I have to call customer service so now it is under review for them to come in and remove that service as well.

The person that came here represented Guardian Protection well. He was well spoken and explained everything to the best of his abilities. And he had answer for every question that I had. My wife bought the home before we were married and the only odd thing about the whole thing was that I had to prove to Guardian that I was her husband by setting up a marriage certificate.
The installation was pretty quick because we already had the alarm here. The installer that came was amazing. He showed me how to switch out the chip and also getting back on up the password. It was very helpful. I had Protection One before and their interfaces seem to be the same. But Guardian is cheaper and I noticed that when I armed the alarm right now through my phone, it's a lot quicker than before. The app is really easy to use and I don't have to sit around and wait in my car for a minute for it to arm. But it would be a cool if Guardian offered a new surveillance camera to grab more customers.

I have had Guardian Services for 2 years, moved last year and continued with their services. Stopped using the alarm system for many months. Called to cancel their services for that reason to find out that when I moved apparently on the contract was a 60 month agreement that I was not ever made aware of. The early termination fee is 700 dollars. They would not do anything about it and offered more services. Not much I can do but be stuck with the 46 months of paying $40 a month. I hope no one else agrees to these terms as that is ridiculous. BBB complaint was made. Hope you don't get stuck with them as well!

Had the existing alarm in my new home activated by Guardian yesterday. Technician who came out had no idea what he was doing, the equipment was already installed. All he had to do was activate it. 6 hours later it was finally activated, he left, and with that came a ton of problems. Spent over an hour on the phone with customer service as well as supervisors with no help whatsoever, no solution... Several hours later the system tell me I have open windows, tampering going on, I call customer service again... was told to bypass items having issue. Alarm went off all night long. Call this morning and get yet another runaround. Cant arm system... but I'm paying for service. So sorry I signed a contract with this company. It's been a mess and it's only been less than 24 hours. Buyer beware.

So far everything with Guardian Protection Services is good. The guys that came to install it were terrific young men. They were personable and when we had a problem their boss left wherever he was to come over and fix it. The only thing is I can’t see on the backboard thing where you hit it to lock it at night. I have to get my key ring with the little square on it to lock it at night, where before I would just go to the keyboard and hit something on the wall and I can lock it there.
One night the wind blew the backdoor open to the house from the garage and the alarm went off. It was loud and it scared me to death and I came running out here. I don’t know what I would have done if some burglar had been there. But they kept talking to me the whole time and asked me what the password was and so forth. And they calmed me down until I got the door shut and everything got back in order.

The tech of Guardian Protection did a good job in installing the equipment. The cameras are also good but there was no real hand-holding in terms of like, "Here are all the features. Here's the way you can use it." It's sort of a "figure it out yourself" so that was a bit disappointing. And I sort of expected from a company of this size is just a good follow up in terms of what I'm paying for. There's no "Here's your bill. How else can we help you?" Not really any of that.
I wasn't very dissatisfied. I just was underwhelmed.I would tell a friend to shop around on some protection services that really do a good job of helping you feel comfortable about the level of security in your homes, explains to you all the features that are available and do a lot to earn your business.

I was a customer for several years and for the most part, service was fine and responsive. My criticism is of the antiquated contract process that customers must endure. I do not know why this is unique to the home security industry, but most companies seem to require customers to enter into a multiyear contract with the provider. I understand the economics from the providers perspective (guaranteed revenue over a defined period of time) but from the consumer perspective, it is just infuriating if your circumstances change (i.e. job relocation). Guardian required a five-year contract for my service. Due to a job transfer, I relocated out of state and am still paying on the contract (close to a year now). Yes, they will try to sell you the service again to your new home (not helpful if you have to end up in short-term/corporate housing) or continue your service. Unfortunately, this also comes with a new commitment to a multi-year contract.
We did move into our new home and chose a new provider (SimpliSafe) that does NOT require a contract. Needless to say, I could not be happier with both the quality of the product, service and the flexibility. I fully expect any response to this comment by Guardian will likely attack the "do-it-yourself" security system is inferior. Do not be fooled - it is not. I have nothing but positive accolades for my current provider.

My experience has been horrible. I got a video doorbell, sensors on the exit doors and the motion sensor. Rather than putting sensors on the windows, they positioned the motion detector to detect the windows on the first level. It's working but in order for the motion detector to catch an intruder, that intruder has to be in my house. The installation went okay, except one of the sensors didn't work so it wasn't picking up the garage door constantly, but a serviceman came out the next day and fixed that. Then he told me about getting another router because it's in the second level so it isn’t strong enough to get to the front door, which is on the first level. I expected the video doorbell to operate as it should but it has never worked.
My question is why wasn't that checked out when they installed it? Now I have a system that doesn’t do what it’s supposed to do. The only other thing I could possibly think of is getting an extender which, is a lot cheaper than an entirely new router. If the windows had sensors, then I realized that the cost would have been a lot more because I have five windows. But as soon as the connection was broken, then the alarm would go off. I'm not sure that I have the right system for me and if this is giving me the peace of mind that I want. But the two people that came out were very personable and knowledgeable.

Guardian was the one recommended by the builder. Interactions with Guardian reps have been pleasant. They explained the different services they offered, the pricing options, and some recommendations. Installation was pretty smooth. They highlighted the selections we had done and where or what was getting installed. We’ve had peace of mind since we had Guardian.
Customer service helped me finalize the different options. They very friendly and very helpful. But from a knowledgeable point of view, they are there but not exactly there. There's something I always find out after the fact, because a lot of times homeowners even don’t know which questions to ask or even don’t understand unless they actually see it.

I feel more safe and aware of what's going on in my house since having Guardian. The sales rep set up the equipment, showed me how to operate it and how to set up my online and my app access. He did a test run with me with it, too. He also asked me to show him a demonstration just to make sure I knew how it works. He was here for an hour and a half. What I have are the doorbell and the keypads in the house, and their equipment are of good quality. The smartphone features are great as far as the notifications coming through letting you know when things are opened or closed, or when the doorbell comes in.

Guardian Protection Services called and offered me the doorbell, camera and pendant for around my neck. That's what made me switch. I was also almost out of contract with the other provider. So, I took the opportunity to go ahead and join them. The rep was very helpful and polite. He told me what was going on and he told my how the whole system worked. He spent more time explaining it and going over with me about the system more than other companies that have been here. I had forgotten about getting the new code for my phone. He even tried to get it set up so he could do everything but it wasn't working. He also changed the alarm out and checked everything and made sure that everything was working and the system was all right before he left. Everything was well.
I'm getting the guy from Guardian again on Wednesday to put in the camera for the doorbell. I wasn't able to get in to my internet that day. I just got a different phone and the gentleman that provides and set it and I forgot what it was. But it was a very good experience. He's a very nice gentleman. I'm going to love the doorbell camera because I don't open my door just to everybody and now that it's wintertime, I don't do it either. During the summer, I have the door open sometimes but I have a secured screen door. But this way, I'll be able to see who's out there and not have to take a chance at opening the door. It's going to be good once he comes back to put the camera up and explain it to me. Moreover, the system zings my phone every time the door opens and closes, which was a surprise to me because I've always been like, "Where would it do that?” I've gotten used to their little zings now.
Everybody who called had been very polite. I can't say that for the other company whenever they found out that I was leaving them. I don't know how many calls I got asking me the same questions over and over again. I just got to the point that I told them, "I've answered these questions a couple of times and I don't need to answer then anymore." I just hung up on them. Guardian Protection is going to be a much better company than what I had and I certainly like the features that they offer. I would recommend them to a friend.

I just purchased my home and it didn't have any alarm system. My sister works for Guardian Protection. So, she put me in contact with a representative who came out to tell me more about it. He was wonderful, informative and not pushy at all. He told us what he thought we needed, all the extras that we could get, and if we want to think about them and add them later. A gentleman came out for the installation and he came out a little late towards the end of our window, and he was here for a total of an hour. But everything went fine. And then, he showed us how to set up the account on our computer.
I use all of the smartphone features and use the app to start the alarm before we leave for the day and to set it at night. We feel great about our security equipment's quality. I would have liked to have our unit installed on the wall. However, the installer informed us that he wouldn't be able to hide the cords. It would be exposed on the wall. And I wouldn't have wanted that. So, we have ours in our bedroom on the nightstand, which is fine. We're happy with everything. We live in one of the safest neighborhoods in the country, but I work far away from my home. And I'm outside of my house for 12 to 14 hours a day. So, it's nice to have the peace of mind that everything is fine in my home because of the alarm. It's a great service. I already recommended them.

It'll be a year in January since we started using Guardian Protection Services. Their salesman was pleasant, except that it was already late at night and he had to call the guy that came to install to help him. They took a couple of hours to install the system. They put the glass break box but they put it up crooked so someone else had to come out and fix that. They were coming out for something else because they weren’t receiving a signal and he just got up on the ladder and fix that. But aside from that, everything is fine. The quality of their equipment has been good. In the beginning, I have accidentally set it off several times and they were very quick to respond. They called right away but thank God we never had to have the police out. Most of the time I forget to set the security system but I feel I'm in a safe and secure area anyhow.

I've changed my home security system to Guardian Protection Services a week or so ago. It's easier if they're a little closer to home. The other company I had was out of state so I didn't feel like I was as connected with them as I do with Guardian now. I had known the Guardian rep before and he explained things. He went over questions I have even if he had to more than once. He made it all a little more simple than some do and it's not so technical. He was the only one who did the installation and didn't take very long at all. He also had been out to correct some things and I know that I can get a hold of him quickly if I ever need anything. So far, I'm very pleased with the overall functionality of the system and I'm very satisfied with the service. I would recommend Guardian.

I heard bad stuff about other companies like ADT so I didn't check into it. Then Guardian was the first one that came to tell me the pricing, which was pretty good, so I decided to jump on it. Their sales rep came to my house and showed me everything that their system was capable of doing. He also showed me a package that I was interested in and we went from there. When the equipment was installed, their technician stayed to make sure that everything was working well because we were having issues. He was patient and stood there for hours trying to figure out what was going on with the alarm on the front door and the doorbell. We found out it was a bad doorbell that they had and they changed the bell out. Then he went over the instructions with me. He gave me superior service and I would recommend him and the company.
One time, I accidentally hit the panic alarm. Somebody called me and I didn't know the password. They were about to send the sheriff but I told them not to and that the technician was right there. So, I was lucky. I still don't know the password and I don't know if they're going to call me back with it or not. But I know how the system works and its quality is excellent. I feel good and confident in its features. I also wanted a camera on the backyard but that would have made an extra fee and I wanted to keep my fees down.

I used to have MONI and I was paying them $59 for the alarm system but their rate has gone up. Then I had the guy from Guardian who came and explained to me about their product and service. He was very nice and he said that with Guardian, my payment would go down. My sister also has them so I quit MONI and went ahead and got Guardian. But I never asked him if he was going to report it MONI or I was supposed to report it to MONI. He also didn't tell me about it until I got a phone call from MONI saying that my payment didn't go in to them. That’s when I told them that I was no longer with them and that I was with Guardian already.
After I signed up with Guardian, another guy came around eight o’clock the next day and set up the new system. He put a new box and alarm and he was here for an hour and a half. So far, when I set the alarm when I leave and I come back, it’s working. Everything is okay and I’m very happy with it. I would recommend them.

Guardian has been fantastic so far. They're world above MONI service-wise. I feel great about the overall quality of the equipment. In the beginning, the doorbell that they put in and all that was not up to par. It wouldn’t ring and then when it would ring it would in the middle of the night. The sales rep who did the installation promised to be back and he never came back. When I called, they scheduled Tony to come down from Phoenix to take care of the problem. He came as promised on time and changed it out to a new doorbell. It's working great now, thanks to Tony. I'm pleased with Guardian. It's nice to know I can rely on this system. I have a couple of questions that I have to explore, but everything seems to be doing fine.

A door-to-door salesperson from Guardian Protection Services came to the door and introduced himself. We went over the material and he started explaining the features and the benefits. He did as good of a job as he could and he scheduled the installation. The installers were early and they were very professional. They walked me through the functions of the system and made sure everything was up and running before they left. It's easy to use and I like how the quality of the picture is very clear on the recordings. It's just very high-tech. Their smartphone features is a little bit delayed though on the locking of the door and sometimes it doesn’t pick up correctly. I've only had it for a week, so it happened last week and then again this morning. So, I just have to make sure I hear it locked before I drive away.

We sat down when we were building our house with the representative and he explained all of our options, and we picked something. And the installers had a bit of a struggle getting things going because too many people were on vacation and there wasn’t anybody there who could do it. So, it took them a while but they got it all installed but they got it done that day. It’s nice that we can see if our garage doors are closed remotely and our house is locked remotely. And I like that. We haven’t really had to test out anything else but I accidentally set it off a few times. But I got into it and turned it off before anybody called me. I feel safer having it.

Guardian Protection Services is updated compared to my previous security system. In the beginning, we felt very special although we knew that the salesperson had more than one client. Guardian was really caring and trustworthy. Any questions we had, they were there for us. And then all of a sudden it stopped. There was a short period where we were totally ignored. It felt like once we got their business, we were not important anymore because we weren't getting any correspondence through our text and phone calls. The salesperson wasn’t answering emails or the texts. I guess he became very busy, but this was over a period of three months. Then all of a sudden he was back on track. It became excellent again and we were happy again.
There were two teams for the installation. The person who came and disconnected the equipment from the previous provider that was still in my home did something with the original lock because when we first got the equipment, they told us to save the lock in case we wanted to move the equipment, so that was what we did. We just put it in the original box and we saved it.
And then I sold my home and we wanted the original team, but he was super busy. They sent someone else out and that was not a good experience. When he put in the original lock, it was weird because our key would get stuck in it. My husband went out to tell him we couldn't take the key out. And he stopped and came back and he fixed it. It worked for a couple of days. Then all of a sudden we couldn’t open the door. We could not unlock it and I called to have him come back out because I only had less than a week to move out and for the new people to take over. I was trying to work around his schedule and I just said, “Forget it, I'll just pay and have somebody do it.” I did not like that service. That was pretty bad and I let them know not to send that guy out anymore.
Though the features offered in our system is more than what I need, I'm keeping it because I was in a contract and it's always good to have. I kind of feel that I don’t need it, but I want to keep it. You never know how things change. Where I was before, I felt really good because even though I was in a good neighborhood it wasn’t a good community and a couple of things happened. I was there for 23 years and one Christmas which was the year before I got the system, we had a burglary and we had never in 23 years. So I thought it was necessary there. Since I got Guardian initially for three years at a good rate I thought it would be wise to keep it. And we had a good experience with the monitoring people. I would recommend Guardian. I've recommended the whole system and the team that started me.

I like Guardian's technology and price. Their installers were great and all their reps have been pretty nice. I also like the system's touchscreen keypad and the ability to integrate with the home automation. We got Guardian Protection Services and the salesperson was knowledgeable. The installation was quick and the technician who came out was really good, nice, and knew what he was doing. I had a system in place already that was adaptable so all they had to do was change some cards. Also, he was able to see that the backdoor wasn't connected and was able to fix that, which helped a lot. Moreover, Guardian seems to be making use of a newer technology and the features offered by the system are good. I like that it's set up in Alarm.com so I go to that and it seems more accessible than my old system where there were two different websites and I never knew which. I also check the smartphone features once in a while. In a couple of months, I'll get the door camera after I change front doors. I'd also like the coverage outdoors but we're going to do that with a separate system.

Guardian's system is better than ADT and it's a couple of dollars cheaper too. I've only had it for a little while, but it was time for a change and a bit of an upgrade. Guardian put a life alert thing in the system, as well as a heat and smoke detector which I didn't have before. There's also a more modern main control thing there. It has a feature that tells me right away if I open up the door, which is nice. The sales rep answered anything I asked him. Also, the installer was an outstanding individual. He really knew his business and his job, and he was quick and neat. He also cleaned up after himself. So far, they've done a good job and I would recommend them.

The previous owner of the house was very happy with the system of Guardian Protection Services and said that they were really good so we continued the service. We are not living there right now though. We just go there once in a while for a couple of days. Also, there are things about the system that we haven't figured out yet so we haven't turned it on. But the technician who came and installed the system was good and he helped a lot. We wanted to reset all the passwords and he set up those. On April, we’ll be moving there permanently and we will be using the system regularly.

Guardian partnered with the home builder we had. The system was set up last week. Most of the install was done while the house was being built. They also came out, activated the system and installed one more speaker. And all of that was, for the most part, was satisfactory. They were very prompt and everything looked clean after they were done. The features of the system are all very nice. I haven't had a monitored system in a while. So, some of the things are new and, obviously, nicer than I used to have, particularly, the app. The smartphone app is easier than I thought it would be.
All seems to be in working order now. The only thing is I was just able to get the website functionality working. So, I was unable to actually set up the pins or anything until today for the keypad code. I haven't been able to use and really take advantage of it, other than turning it on and off with the web app. There are multiple websites and it was a little confusing. There's one for managing your account and one for managing the house and I think I got some things crossed up trying to set passwords for each of those two sites. It didn't seem initially clear to me that that was the case. But now that I've got it figured out, it's not a big deal. But they could do better in the explanation of some of the web functionalities or just maybe ease in setting it up. It didn't seem perfectly straightforward. Other than that, everything seems fine so far and my wife would definitely appreciate having the system installed.

Somebody at my work referred Guardian to me. I was telling him that I was going to call ADT for the home security but he’s said, “No, call Guardian.” The guy that they sent out for installation explained a lot to me, and he was really nice. I turn the system on when I’m at work at night, and when I’m home during the day sleeping, I put it for home stay. It has worked out really good. It's really cool, and they've done a wonderful job. I’ve been telling everybody at my work to call Guardian and get them.

We wanted an alarm system so we were glad to see the door-to-door salesman who had installed the alarm in our previous house. He showed the product and it looked pretty advance, so we went with him and worked together. He was very informative, the price was also great, and the features that are offered are amazing. The installer showed at a good time, and showed us how to use the system. He was clean and fast as well. My daughter has a childcare so we like the idea of the video camera, as well as the ability to speak to whoever is at the front door. We have surveillance cameras all over us and that is pretty awesome.
Also, being able to turn on and off the alarm through the cell phone is also great. We are overwhelmed by all the notifications, but we made an adjustment on that already. The issue that I had, however, was on the sensors but they got that fixed, so, so far, everything has been good. We are already in a gated community, but it also adds more sense of security knowing that we have the alarm. Everything from the salesperson to the installers to the customer service, they were all pretty cool. It has been a good experience.

We mostly dealt with Howard of Guardian Protection Services and he was pleasant, very knowledgeable about the equipment and offered suggestions. I got the system for added protection and it is very modern. I can use my apps from my phone to turn the alarm on and off from anywhere and I can open up the garage. I can also see if a door is left open. My panel and everything worked. Guardian Protection is a little pricier than some of the other people but they’re very good at what they do.

I've spoken with a lot of people from Guardian multiple times 'cause their service is very poor. We had an install date of November 20th. They came and brought the wrong part, so they had to come back on the 27th. Meanwhile, that whole week my husband was getting calls from Guardian, three to four times a day, saying that they're testing the system. And it wasn't connecting because they never installed anything. So, I called them and suggested to them to stop calling my husband and not to charge us. They said they'd take care of that.
They came out on the 27th and they put the stuff in. I get home on the 27th and there's one keypad in my living room, and there's one keypad in my bedroom. Every time I armed it, it would beep obnoxiously for 45 seconds. I called Guardian and said, "You need to disable this beeping noise in my bedroom because me and my husband don't go to bed at the same time." The first person I talked to said they couldn't do that, so I asked to talk to a manager. The manager I talked to said, "We can't disable the keypad in your room. You signed a contract and those are the systems that are put in, and there's nothing we can do to change that." I said that this was unacceptable, and we talked to another manager. The third person I talked to was a woman manager, and she was very nice. We searched into it, and got them to turn off the beeping noise. She was really good, and she solved the problem.
Fast forward to last Friday. I got my coverage charge of $57 and I never saw a bill. I looked online to try to find a bill and there wasn't any, so I called them and said they should let me see a statement before they charge my card. They still couldn't provide me a statement, so I asked them to read me what the charges were for. They ended up charging us from the install date of the 20th, which I called in previously and told them not to charge me for because there was nothing installed. They credited my account $15, but all in all, it has been a very frustrating process. It makes me wish that I would have shopped around a little bit more. I also downloaded the app, but it won't work on my phone. I didn't call them about it 'cause I've been on the phone too much with them and I'd have to be on the phone for 20 minutes to an hour with them. Nothing seems to work right. I would not ever recommend this to anyone else.

I had a security system in the house when I bought it but it wasn’t armed. Somebody can hop over the fence and they can go into my backyard because I have a corner property. The salesperson from Guardian that came in was very thorough and the price was reasonable. You’re hooked up to the fire and police department and you’re covered. The installers were very thorough as well, courteous and they knew what they were doing. It’s working pretty good though I’m having a few issues right now. I have the Z-Wave bulbs that are not hooking up to my panel and the technician knows about it. He’s supposed to come out and see what he can do for me.
The only feature I would like that I had before when I upgraded was when the garage door opened, I get a notification on my pad. But I use the Guardian on my smart phone and computer. The quality is very good and I would recommend them to anybody. My son got his alarm because he has two kids and I recommended it to my neighbor too and she got two video cameras, one for the backyard, one for the side of the house.

I had one of Guardian's sales rep come to my door. He advised me that my contract with Monitronix was getting ready to end and he showed me what they had. He did his part and did a really good job. I selected a couple of other items to go ahead and install and the price stayed the same, so I was happy. The installation was awesome and the installers were very professional. Everything was explained correctly. With Guardian Services, it's a lot faster and smoother than what I had with my previous carrier.

I used Guardian Protection Services when I first built my house. I let the system lapse for a period, and then I contacted them back and had them re-establish it. I priced some other companies. Guardian was more favorable in price and more flexible in their cost of installation. I give Flo, the customer service representative who I initially spoke to and continued to speak to throughout the process, excellence marks as far as being thorough and easy to work with. She was very accommodating with any request that we had. It did not feel like it was a difficult process at all.
We dove into the idea of whether or not an additional property that we wanted the security system for was to be considered residential or commercial. Once we determined that it needed to be commercial, she handed those over to another department. But as far as our initial residential installation, she was excellent. She had superior knowledge as far as the product that she was selling.
The installation team was technically knowledgeable. They had a desire to do things right in an effort to not have to come back and make any corrections or repairs. That took them some extra time to complete and there were a few times they were here very late. But I appreciate the fact that they wanted to get it right and not leave me with a situation where it either didn’t work or I wasn’t completely knowledgeable on how to make it work. So, they displayed a lot of care and concern about being correct and about me being able to operate everything correctly. And I felt confident with the system by the time they left.
The system is easy to use. I haven’t taken the time to go on to the actual computer website and make some of the more convenient changes that are available to me, but once I have the time to do that, I like the idea that I can tailor it to specific needs. The mobile app is fantastic. It is very helpful. That was a big improvement to what we had before. Being able to arm and disarm the system from our phone has been very good.
We’re currently working with the commercial side of things to get a contract for our commercial system that was installed, and the only thing is I’ve been contacted twice by an individual who said they wanted to discuss our commercial installation. And the connection from which this person has been calling me from was so garbled. I asked him to call back. So, he agreed, he called back, and it was worse. I told him I was going to try to contact him at my convenience as I couldn’t understand anything he was saying. I have not had the chance to call Guardian but that’s what I’m experiencing with the commercial side of things. We’re trying to get together so that we can finalize everything.

I love Guardian Protection Services. I have been telling my friends how much I like it. It was the first name that came to mind. Everyone from Guardian was nice and did a good job. Our house didn’t close on time though, but they're coming back to finish the installation. I'm one of those people that run up to my bedroom, lock the door and I see my husband doesn’t need to be disturbed. Since installing the system, I don’t have to do that, and it's awesome.

Guardian Protection Services gave me the best rate and all of the pieces came with the package that I selected and it was pretty comprehensive. The sales representative was a nice guy. He came up, knocked on the door, and said what company he was with and the different services that he had. He showed the different packages and explained things in a way where it was easy to follow. He was always available if I have questions and whenever he called me, it was always during the time that I told him he could and he tried to be respectful of those kinds of things.
The installer came in and told me what he was going to do, where he was putting things, where I wanted things to go, and what made the most sense. Their system is really good. I like that I can go online and arm it while I’m en route to work because I don’t always remember to arm it as I’m leaving out. I also love my camera doorbell as it has a live video. If somebody is at my door or somebody passes my door, it will video it and then I have the video saved on my phone. Right now, I’m 30 miles away from my house and I can see what’s going on. And if somebody rung my doorbell, a notification will come up on my phone and I can talk to them from my office and that’s amazing. Since having the system, I feel more protected.

We’ve been looking for a new home security for several years. And then we built this new home and moved in last week. We decided to pull the trigger because we had a nice deal through Guardian. Our first sales meeting went well, very knowledgeable, helpful information. We got the Wi-Fi network, extender network, and also, we got the home protection. And then our installer came out, and very helpful, got us all set up. And had to come out a second time ‘cause our Wi-Fi extender wasn’t working. He came back out a couple of days later and fixed it. Guardian's been good. My only complaint right now is I’m trying to get our Legrand dual-band WAP set up. But Legrand's been bouncing me around all morning. I feel frustrated I’m getting the runaround from them. Other than that we feel more secure at night with our home security system and when we’re gone.

Guardian is in the house when I purchased it and I've heard good things about it so I thought if this is good then we'd go with them. The customer service reps were so helpful and all my questions were answered. They helped me with every issue I had. Pete scheduled me right away for the technician, Ken, to put the top tape on the backdoor that was missing when I purchased the house. When I was missing one of the remotes to the house, Jen sent it right away. They're very responsive.
The system was, at first, overwhelming and too much for me. Ken told us how to use it to its full potential and helped educate me better on what else can be done in order for protection. The information provided was enlightening. I've gotten to know the equipment a little bit better and it is great. The smartphone feature is awesome. If I have forgotten if I put the alarm on, I get into the app and it will tell me everything, which I was taught how to do too. The system is such a great sense of security that's priceless knowing that if anything were to happen, it will go off. I would recommend Guardian highly.

We were a customer of ADT for a lot of years, but they never came out to update our equipment. We had old equipment and the rates kept going up all the time. I had to retire and my husband got sick so we're on a fixed income now, so we decided to get something cheaper. Guardian called on the telephone, and they came around door-to-door. They were very good, explained everything and we got a lot more from them than what we did from ADT. Also, the installer was a really nice guy. I really like the system overall. If we open our side door, it tells us the door is open. The same goes for the front door. We never had anything like that with ADT. I would recommend Guardian highly, and I have talked to some of my friends and told them that if they need to get a system, Guardian's the one to get.

I was checking for a security company online and I saw different ones, and I clicked on Guardian. The previous owner of the house I'm in now was using the same service, so I figured I should go with it. The sales process was smooth as it was supposed to be. However, I was told on the phone there were two cameras added for the options. The sales rep did not say whether or not the cameras recorded, and I did not know that until the technician got here. The tech said the camera does not record, and that made me disappointed and not take the cameras. If I had been told that the cameras were not going to be recording, I wouldn't have gone for it. There's no point for me to get the cameras if they don't record. I also won't pay $350 for two cameras, when I know that I could have four cameras for that price elsewhere.
But the tech was good and he did his job very well. He took his time and whatever I was supposed to know, he explained it to me step by step. Also, the smartphone features are very convenient. So far, everything's working great. Now I have peace of mind that if I'm not in the house, I have someone who will check after me. I probably would need to add the cameras, and I'm going to get them sooner or later, with or without Guardian. But I will recommend them to friends.

I started going on the road and since I’m not at home that much, I needed the new equipment so I can feel like my wife and kids are a lot safer at home while I'm not there. I used a different home security system before Guardian and I didn't have an issue with it, but Guardian offered the newest software technology that we were looking for. The previous company was also offering it, but they wanted us to pay an arm and a leg for it. Guardian came in and took over, and they were great. The tech was really nice, and he knew what he was doing. The sales guy was nice as well. After everything was plugged in, he came and checked. We still have communications with him if we need him. I would recommend them any day of the week and I wouldn't hesitate to tell others all the good things that I experienced with Guardian so far.

I cancelled ADT and went with Guardian. The sales rep was very friendly and really easy to talk with. I came to find out he went to the school with a few of my older cousins and he's from the same town that I'm originally from, where I ended up moving back to. He was very knowledgeable and I told him what I wanted. I wanted to get cameras set up and we scheduled a date and time for him to come by just so he could out the property. He gave me a quote and everything was good to go on both ends. So, we just went ahead and set it up. They got everything ordered, they already had everything in stock and his installer came the next day and knocked everything out real fast.
The system is perfect and it got everything I wanted. Everything pretty much I was worried about and wanted to get covered was all included. I also like the smartphone feature. I'm on it all day long. Having Guardian definitely put us at ease. I feel a lot better with the wife and being home alone at night. The service, the installation and the quality were top-notch.

I used to have Vector Security prior to using Guardian Protection Services. I like Guardian's messaging feature when our extra facility opens and closes, and I can do that on my phone.The people I have spoken to were friendly, and I've never had any problems. The installation on one store was done good and the guy came directly from the company. On the other store, the guy who came over was in training but I don't have a problem as it is working right now.

Everything about Guardian has been great, so far and we haven't had any issues. Whenever I had to talk to anybody, either on customer service or a tech it's been fantastic. Also the app is really cool and convenient. When we walk outside, we can just lock and unlock it. It's very carefree.

The Guardian sales person was not that great. He always asked me if I was sure that I wanted to add extra services. Before meeting, he called me a couple of times asking the same question again and again because of all the people in my neighborhood, no one upgraded their service apart from the basic one. The installation was with the security cameras and the home security system, including cameras. The installers came last week and they couldn't complete it because of internet box issues, so I'm waiting for them. I don't know whether they can fix it or not, so Guardian will be sending a different technician now.
I'm thinking of cancelling Guardian since they're expensive, but I don't have an option 'cause according to the contract, I have to maintain at least three years. That's what I figured out later when I researched about different security systems. They should explain to the customer clean and clear everything before signing the contract. Once you sign the contract, you have to pay a lot for hidden features and there's a lot of hidden information.

I'm supposed to have on my windows stickers from Guardian but when they came by, they never gave me any. And they promised me one of the things to hang on my neck in case I work in the backyard 'cause I'm 84 years old and it also never arrived. I really wanted somebody to come back to show me about it again. I called and nobody showed. I told their rep, "If I have nobody to come and show me, I want this thing out of here." But they told me they were going to charge me $1,200 to remove it.
The one that sold me the product sent some boy put in the installation here. And I told him before he even installed it, I would like to have a trial but he gave me only three days and after that I couldn't have it removed. I'm very disappointed. I would not recommend anybody to get this thing. And if I have to get a lawyer to have it removed, I will get a lawyer. I don't think I should pay $1,200.

I had Guardian Protection Services in another house, and I have had it in a new building as well, and everything has been fine. I've only have had the recent one for a month. We had one alarm go off, then they called the way they were supposed to and handled it. I love the fact that I can do things from my phone. They are great, that is why I got them again.

However, they have been excellent in follow-ups and services, i realized as customers we are quick to comment on the faults and not what is working. So i am taking this time to say without doubt, i am pleased we got everything resolved. I am happy with my service from Guardian Protection Services.

I got introduced to Guardian Protection Services by the builder building our home here. I met with their rep who's a much more technical person. From the beginning of buying my house to the end, Guardian was the worst decision I made. Right now, the installation itself is not working. There's a keycode on the front door, which is supposed to give you access to the house without your key. That was installed at the time I closed the house. I didn't even know it was not working. So, to date, it's not working. I got someone to speak with and they scheduled the technician to come fix it on Saturday. But regardless if they fix it or not, it will not change my experience. My experience has been completely terrible with Guardian and that's one factor.
The second factor is, the Saturday visit is going to be the fourth time. The first time, for whatever reason, it didn't work. They changed something but these things happen so I'm not putting it all on them. But there are usually ways to handle these kinds of things. You tell people that people would easily understand. One or two occasions when I called customer service, after staying on the line for close to 10 minutes, the line dropped and then I called again. I'm not sure if they deliberately hung up or maybe it was just the network. I eventually got on with someone and I scheduled an appointment.
This thing has happened twice. One of the appointments that I scheduled, I left specific instructions that I should be called 30 minutes before the technician gets to the site. That instruction was completely not adhered to. The guy got to the site but I didn't see the call. The truth is he did call but I didn't realize my phone did ring. The instruction was to call me 30 minutes before but the technician was already on site when he called me. They gave me a four-hour window from 8:00 to 12:00. Apparently, the technician was there at 8:10 and that's about the time he called. I got to the site around 8:15 but when I got there, I was waiting and I waited until almost 12:00.
I called Guardian and they said, "Oh, the person was there. He called and then he left." It was a completely flawed experience. Eventually, I got someone to come and look at the problem. The person still did not fix the issue completely that day. They said was they needed internet to be in the house before they complete the garage security. At that time, because it's a new building, I hadn't put on the internet. I called Guardian customer care for another date that I'm going to get internet done, and that was yesterday. "Can you schedule somebody who would come immediately after the internet is done to do whatever you needed to do in the garage on the door." They wrote down all of this information and for whatever reason, the appointment was not scheduled.
So, I was on-site all throughout yesterday. I left my work and I didn't get to see anybody twice. Eventually, I called and they're like, "Oh, it was not scheduled. Maybe I didn't get the instructions correctly." I'm like, "Just the way you did the first time." It's understandable if something like that has not happened before. But I just feel from the experience, it looks like this is normal with them. So, I insisted with the lady I spoke with, "You need to send me an email confirmation. I need to receive the email now that the appointment is scheduled." So, eventually, I got it. I waited on the line and I got an email confirmation before I dropped. The email confirmation was the other day. Hopefully, everything will be fixed. If I hadn't signed it, I would never have this experience. Unfortunately, I didn't know about the reviews online about them. I don't usually believe a lot of the reviews because sometimes, customers could as well be very pushy.
But obviously, when I read the reviews, I could relate with the majority of the things that people were writing about them. It's okay if it's just a couple of people who say that these things go wrong. But if you're really consistent, it means that there are some elements of truth. I would never, ever sign up with Guardian for anything else. Not even somebody that I know would do that.

I liked the offers Guardian had. And I looked into some other security companies but I didn't have WiFi and they couldn't do it. This one works without it. The installer did a great job. He showed me everything and did what he was supposed to do. The system is great. The features and I love the app on my phone.

The Guardian rep that I spoke to was pretty good. He explained everything to me. I called customer service because I was having problems with arming it and disarming until I figured it out. And then he called me back and gave me a number that I can reach him if I had any problems. He was so nice. I watched during the installation and the guy did a pretty good job. He installed it so quickly and had it up and running under 30 minutes. The quality of the security equipment is excellent. I can arm and disarm it manually or otherwise. The service is excellent and I would recommend Guardian.

The installation of Guardian's system was fine and so far I would recommend it. I had ADT before having Guardian. The only thing from ADT that I like a little bit more is that they had a key fob but it's not a big of a deal. I was just so used to using that with ADT and I never went on my phone. But it's not a complaint, just a suggestion.

I had an initial appointment with Guardian's customer service representatives for setting up and I had an appointment going through the wiring, security set up and everything. And then, I had some difficulty controlling the system so I called them and they walked me through it. I have the door and window sensors, the motion sensors on two levels, and the carbon monoxide detector on the upper level. I also have a SkyBell, the video doorbell, and it has not been installed because there was something they needed to change. So, they have scheduled me for another day at the end of this month to come back and install it.
So far, the system has been good. We didn't get our chance to explore the system because we're still settling in the house, but I'm quite familiar and very hands-on with the app right now, which is what I use to control it. The app feature that I use works fine. As soon as I go to bed, I arm the system and when I wake up at 7:00, I disarm it. I want to program it so it disarms automatically, but right now, they don't have that feature because of a security concern. I would recommend Guardian Protection Services.

Guardian Protection reps were helpful. They told me some of the things that I needed to do and prepare for. As far as the equipment hookup, they made sure that I had the internet there so I had to request them to go hook up the service before I moved in. One of the cable guys was there and told me I’m going to need a router. He also was helping me out, put me in the right direction. The part that was frustrating is the hookup for the camera inside the house. They put the 360 camera in the living room but you can’t see anything because you only see the front door and the stairs. So now I have the camera in my living room hanging up on the window. I can see it now. You cannot go get a full 360 out of it but you’ll only get a 190 but part of that runs into another wall. So it’s almost a waste for the 360 camera.
I guess that’s the best place they can put it in the house. What I was told is that they were going to put it on the wall that was blocking it but they can’t do it because the builder doesn’t want anything over that spot. That would have been the better reason for having a 360 camera. Some of the features in the system wherein I can be away and I can open my door, I have it now connected to my door in which I bought the app for that. That was helpful and it makes it easier so if I have friends and family that come over and I’m not home I can let them in.
The only flaw that I have was when they came out the second time to put in the cameras. It messed my internet out so I wasn’t able to do some of the things that I needed to do. I don’t know if they plugged it in to the wrong spot but I just unplugged the wires, took it out of the cable, plugged it in to another one and it started working. It took me out for a while because I needed to do some business. Besides that, I may need to go online and fix for myself outside cameras. It is too sensitive so every time a bug flies by, it records. I do like the 7-day grace period that they gave me to get used to everything. I thought that was nice. Also the second guy that came showed me how to change my passwords to get into the security system. He showed me how to do the touching part which was really good. There are always flaws, but it’s still too early in the game to say anything.

A Guardian Protection Services rep came to my door and introduced their product. He said that a lot of people in my neighborhood had it and that I could try it out with no charge for a few days and see how it goes. I liked it and got the alarm system for my parents' house. The technician did a pretty efficient job and installed what he needed to. However, my parents weren't really a fan of the system so I clicked it off and don't have the alarm system any more. And what bummed me out at the end was when they had dis-installed, I got the door knob locked in and they didn’t even bother putting the old door knob back. I had to put it on myself.

Guardian Protection Services had good reviews and that's what's being offered as part of a package with Lyon Homes that we were doing. They came out as part of the building and design package so I had a consultation to see what was available via Guardian, and my wife and I were able to choose what we were interested in. Their reps did very well. We're very happy with the service and how they assisted. The installation went very smoothly. The installer who came out was able to assist and take care of a lot of stuff. The system features were very good and we're happy with them. It's the traditional home security system but we didn't go with any internet options. And the app that goes along with it has been helpful. Our sense of security is much better now because the alarm is really good. It does what it's supposed to do. It was a good experience overall.

Guardian Protection Services was the one offered by the home builder. We talked to the salesman at least twice and they had somebody come out and discussed the whole orientation process with us. Their reps were top-notch. I got Guardian for my wife but she doesn’t like to use it because she's afraid of electronics. Nevertheless, I’m fine with it. I can look at it on my phone, it seizes the alarm and set, and I can disarm and off it on my phone. So the experience was great.

When we built the house, we met with Guardian Protection as part of the set up process. As we went through the building process, I was contacted by the sales representative once or twice to make sure that we had the proper paperwork in place. After that, my wife did the work and was there with one of the technicians when they connected the system to the internet.
We had the system installed in October so we've only had it for a month. When one of the sensors had gone offline, I either received a phone call or I made a call to Guardian to check it out and they sent a police unit to the house to make sure that there was nothing suspicious going on. Then we had scheduled an appointment to have someone come and check that particular sensor to see if there was an issue. Unfortunately, we had to cancel the appointment because we weren't going to be down there in Florida. We live in Wisconsin and the one in Florida is our second home.
My in-laws went and stayed in our house in Florida for a couple of days. They went through the door that was setting off the sensor and after everything was done from my phone today, I armed the security system and there was no issue with it. Apparently, the kink took care of itself. But from that one incident and then the couple times I've spoken to customer service, Guardian has been incredible. The speediness with which they replied and them calling to make sure it was me who was disarming the system and that there wasn't anything else suspicious going on have just been very positive. It's great to have that group of people looking over our house when we're not there.

Guardian kept putting on the keypad that my sensor to my pendant was defective. Several times I've had to talk to them, and they were very kind in telling me that it will be fixed. I don't know if it's working right now or not 'cause my keypad gets a loud noise saying the sensor is defective. They came out last Monday and brought me new pendants, but since then I've had to call the night before last saying it wasn't working. I've been doing everything they tell me to do, but I'm not young and I'm not very mechanical.
The installation was good although the installer had to come back the following week because something had been defective in the system ever since I got it. That seemed to be with the pendant too. In one call I got, they told me I needed to go get a battery to put in it. I said, "I'm not going to be able to do that 'cause I don't know anything about batteries to these." It's a brand new system and they should do it themselves. So he came out and brought me a new one, but I don't know the real bottom line of why they haven't been able to get the system straight.
I never had trouble with Vector, the one that I had before. The Guardian reps said that theirs was going to be so much better even though it's more expensive. I'm disappointed but I hope it will work eventually. Every time I've had trouble on anything, they say I could call the top number on the label. They're very nice walking me through with what to do and telling me that everything's okay. So I'm hoping that it's going to be okay now. I’m dissatisfied till this problem is rectified.

We had a guy from Guardian come out to install everything but he didn’t come out with all the equipment we got, so we don’t have our SkyBell. They’d better not be charging me for any of this until it’s installed. He also hooked up a quick set deadbolt which doesn’t work at all. On top of that, when he took the lock off the door and installed the quick set deadbolt, there was a huge paint discoloration on the door that we have to go paint now. We have to wait a month before he can come back out and do anything for us. He told me he'll be coming out on this date, so we’ll see what happens.
They also sold us on the motion detectors downstairs that pets wouldn’t set it off no matter how big the dogs are but we can’t use those because the pets set them off all day long. They should either take those back, get them out of my house and give me a refund, or shut down the sensitivity or something because they lied to me. Other than that, we have the security system up and it works just fine.

Guardian is a little bit better than our previous security system provider. They have the voice part that I like where they can talk to you to find out what's going on with the house and I can also talk back to them. Their rep was very informative and he explained everything in detail so that we understood what he was installing. The installation was very fast because they could use all my other components. All my alarms and sensors could be reused and Guardian just had to replace the control center. I don’t live at this house full time, and my actual home is back east. I like the fact that I can check on the status of my alarm and stuff from back east. I can also turn the alarm on and off from there.

I was forced to go with Guardian. They were working with the builder of our house, so I went with them because they would do it. The installation went really well. The installers were there when they said they were going to be and did everything like they said they would. An hour after they left, I called to cancel it. However, I don’t know how to change my password now. I don’t have access to anything, so I'm quite unhappy with everything right now. However, when I tried to end the contract, they tried to bill me for an entire month. They told me that was what was required. I waited a week and it was billed in my credit card. So I'm disputing it through my credit card company. The second customer service rep said she was going to take that off. When I got off the phone, I was happy I understood why. I was still frustrated that the first rep never explained it to me.
The features ADT offered were basic and if I upgrade it gets very expensive. I had to pay $1,000 for them to install and the contract is $750. Also, five years is a long time to be spending 40-some dollars, but the first month still was $58 which is outrageous. I understand they have a monopoly right there, but I was not happy. When I was ready to leave, they were willing to see if we were one of those people that they put their cards upfront to let me make an educated decision. All the information is out there and if you do your research it could have been very good for me to stay with them for five years. Instead, I'm going with somebody else because of the cost. They need to do their cost-point less and their technology higher.

The rep and the installation and service guys that came out were very professional and courteous. They explained things very well so we could have a positive experience. Guardian was offered with the new home site, and their price was cheaper than what we were currently paying at our other residence for home security, so we switched to them. We got the garage door opener and the home security system. We've had the Guardian system for a week now and we've used the garage door and the actual alarm portion. It has been pretty much self-explanatory and straightforward.

Guardian was the only security system offered 'cause I bought my house through Ryan Homes. Guardian has a contract with them to make an appointment with every person that buys a home through here. The initial appointment where they came over went well. I liked my sales rep Howard and I liked what I heard from them. On my part, I didn't think about some of the options where I could put some of the light fixtures, ceiling fans and stuff around. But overall I liked working with him. The installation guy was also really cool and nice. He even gave me an extra Ethernet cord for me for my spa. We have not been using the system 'cause we feel safe in this neighborhood, but it's really nice to have if we need to leave. I love the arm and disarm app which we can use easily. When I was growing up, my dad had one and it was a nightmare to figure out. I didn't even touch it when I was younger. Guardian's is so user friendly that I really enjoyed it.
However, Guardian forgot the right doorbell for me and they forgot to bring me my subwoofer and they said they would bring that back. I called them yesterday and they said they can't drop off my subwoofer possibly till Christmas. I don't know if it is that hard to make an appointment to do that. But it's the fault of the Bose Soundlink app 'cause we got a bunch of Bose in here that doesn't work that great. It's connected to the system but Guardian sells it and installed it. That's Bose's problem, not Guardian's. The Guardian app works pretty well, but I would like for them to at least bring me my subwoofer and doorbell. I bought a vacuum through Guardian too, and I was supposed to call them two weeks before I moved in and I was not told that. The vacuum company told me that it's been going on with several Guardian customers that the home owner has not called in two weeks prior to moving in so they could get the attachments started.

I haven't been with Guardian that long, but I’m already planning to leave them. I had an issue with the system and I was supposed to get some kind of footage from the camera that’s in front because even the sensors went off. I also couldn’t get the camera on to the cabinet thing. There is a whole bunch of little things and it is not going to work for me. I have spoken with their customer service and they were supposed to call me back but they never did, which showed me their type of customer service. I will never recommend Guardian to somebody ever.

I had ADT and they updated the equipment with Guardian. The monitors from ADT that were taken down were a little bit bigger than Guardian's but I like the display on them. The rep was really good in answering my calls and if I text him, he texts back. I would recommend Guardian.

Guardian was recommended by our daughter and it's been outstanding with them. Mike did a tremendous job explaining the product and telling us how it worked. We were very impressed with him and the way that he approached us. He didn’t take us for granted just because our daughter was their customer and I really liked that.
When the technician came out to install, he went right to work. He didn’t mess around and didn’t waste any time. That was impressive, too. He took care of his business and showed us how to operate the system. Guardian is better than what we had in Arkansas. This one seems to be a lot simpler. The smartphone features also seem to be a good deal. I'm sure it will be easy to use when we get around to using it. My wife is the security person and she likes being able to arm the house. And even while we're inside the house, she likes that extra security. Overall, Guardian did a good job with the selling and the installation and I would recommend them.

When we were having the house built, the builder had Guardian as one of the companies that they can do the pre-wiring before they put the walls up. So, I went with that and picked Guardian so the builders could do all the wiring before the house goes up. When the installer from Guardian came, he introduced himself and said that he was going to be doing the installation of the panels, then he went all over our package and we confirmed it all. He was there for most of the day because he also installed an extra panel for our master bedroom, as well as sensors that protect the windows in case somebody breaks the windows and tries to get in that way. We also have Guardian’s smartphone features, and we use it all the time to lock and unlock the doors. The installer then tested all the equipment, and about how long it would take them to respond. They tested it three times, so it should work.
We just got our system installed this past week, so we haven’t used it for too long, but it’s pretty good so far. It’s pretty similar to our previous security system from Monitronics, so I’m pretty familiar with a lot of it. However, I’m not able to talk using the actual Guardian keypad when they are responding to an emergency, unlike our previous system. Instead, they just call me on the phone. Other than that, Guardian’s system works, and their customer service are good help. We feel safer because we have a security system. We haven’t had a break in yet, but I’m hoping it’s good.

I wanted to upgrade a little so I decided to switch to Guardian. I like the camera and the doorbell and their reps were very friendly when I was testing the system. However, it’s on automatic takeout of my checking account and I need to have that changed because I want to be in control of that. But so far, it's been a pretty good experience with Guardian.

Our system went through a number of monitoring companies that changed hands and led us into Guardian. So we just maintained the contract at a locked-in price with our previous company when it went to Guardian. Since we have relocated from that previous home to a new home, Guardian did all our pre-wiring because that was the company that was contracted to work with our builder. I had to reach out to the gentleman who did all these afterwards to have some of our paperwork sent back to us through email and he was great. Everything that we needed to go through, he explained it very clearly. He walked us through, gave us examples, demonstrated everything that they had at the office when we went in to do the planning. And then even when I had to reach out to him months later, he was right on top of everything that we needed. So, we were very pleased.
The price has increased by almost $12 since moving and I’m not sure if that was a new connection fee or anything but that is something that I noticed when I got my first automatic draft. But my wife loves that the house is now monitored again. She’s very security-conscious in the interim when we were in transition between both houses. We have an updated system and we’re reassured having it in and monitored in our new home.

Our neighborhood does new construction and Guardian Protection Services gave us discounts and we just went with that. Our interaction with their reps was very good. We had to reschedule once and they were very cooperative. The whole process went very well right from the beginning until they installed it. They have excellent customer service. The installer was cooperative, very friendly and nice, and he explained whatever needs to be done. They have very good features especially the one on the phone which comes very handy wherein we can see our status whether the alarm is armed or not, then I can arm/disarm the alarm on my phone from anywhere. It also has a speaker in the device itself so when it goes off, they can talk from that device at home. Overall it was very good and I'll recommend to friends.

Guardian Protection's reps were pleasant and professional. Guardian provided the pre-drywall wiring and not only with regard to the alarm system but they did a surround sound on the walls too. They also offered a home audio which I didn’t get, so the expense was a bit high to run wiring without drywall. I found that the cost was higher than it should have been but they have a monopoly because of their relationship with Ryan Homes. They did not allow any other competitors to come in and provided the wiring pre-construction or pre-drywall. I haven’t utilized the speakers yet but so far the quality seems good and I'm satisfied.

My experience with Guardian Protection Services wasn’t going great at the beginning, but now it’s going well. I told my hairdresser then that I wanted to get a security system and she told me about Guardian Protection Services because she has it. The sales person that came out to talk to me was great. She was very nice and very down to earth. She explained everything and made the experience very comfortable. The installation was fine but the system started beeping after the installer left. I called Guardian and they said that something has tripped. The installers were supposed to come back but they didn’t. They kept giving me the runaround. Meantime, my friend turned the volume down. I called Sheena and she finally got it taken care of after a week. The system is fine now and I'm satisfied.

Everyone at Guardian Protection Services worked beautifully. The seller had a hard job. He was out eight hours trying to figure things out without even a break. He was there all day and I felt so bad for him. And then the technician came and installed it in a couple of hours. However, he was going to put something on there for the smoke detector but we never got it. We could see the camera do live feed but they didn’t put the card in there. They tried every avenue to find it and get it on. But in the end, we only got half of what we wanted done.

We haven’t had Guardian long enough, but so far, they’re very good, and it works fine. We used to have ADT and Monitronics, and they’re pretty much all the same. But, Guardian gave us a five-year guarantee on the price, and Monitronics had a bad habit of raising the price frequently. Guardian’s sales representative was very straightforward in taking care of business, and the young man who came to do the installation was excellent. He was thorough, clean, and knew what he was doing. I was impressed by him. Another thing that I like about Guardian is that I can activate and deactivate everything through my cellphone, unlike some of the others where somebody could come along and cut the wires and come into your house and nobody will ever know the difference.
If ever you leave, and then let somebody come in your house to look and see if anything is broken, you could use your cellphone to shut it off. We had that experience several years ago, where my son-in-law came in the house and didn’t do what we showed them to shut off the alarm. So, they called us in Oregon and had a three-way conversation with Monitronics. With the siren going in the background, they were in panic and were afraid that the cops are going to come and take them. So, being able to shut it off with my cellphone is a real advantage. Also, the sign in the front yard does more than anything else. if somebody is looking to break into your house and they see one is guarded and the next-door neighbor isn't, psychology says that they’ll take the one that isn't. I had a very good experience with Guardian, and if anyone would ask, I’d tell them that I have them and I like it.

We built a new home and the whole neighborhood has Guardian so we went with everybody else and we couldn't be happier. We had ADT 15 years ago and technology has changed since then. We were looking to upgrade our home with the newest and greatest technology and Guardian does a lot of different things. We were floored by what we can put into a home as far as setting thermostat up on our phone before we get home and things of that nature.
The installer was professional and pleasant, and was above and beyond. Typically, when people have somebody come out to their house, they have more clients to see but the guy was there half a day. There were things that our builder had left out and the guy was patient enough to wait until the builder got there to install another electrical outlet. He set up the system on our multiple devices and showed us the ins and outs and how to navigate, with all the different cameras that we got, and just how to work things. I'm on the road 48 weeks out of a year so my wife is very happy with the system. I would tell a friend to sign up with Guardian.

We own two homes and the home that we recently purchased had the Guardian Protection installed. The interaction with their sales rep was fine and he was very helpful. Then a fellow came and set the system up. He was good and explained the system very well and it's very easy to use. It's only been our home for a couple of months but their system is great. The only thing I don’t like is that when I was reading through our homeowner's stuff, it says that we get charged if a situation happens a couple of times where the alarm goes off and the police come out there but it turns out to be nothing. Other than that, the quality of their equipment is fine. It looks like what I have in my home here. Guardian is a good company and I feel very secure. The overall functionality and performance of the system are very good.

I had to call customer service to have some things added to my service and they were helpful. I also had an issue one time but it was taken care of. When I bought the house, it was suggested to me that I get Guardian because of the infrared home automation. I shopped around, consulted with a few other companies, and I felt that Guardian was the better choice. I also liked what they were offering and their price fit my budget. Other companies were offering the same thing but a little more expensive. At first, I wasn't so pleased with Guardian's sales rep, but I already signed the contract and I could not back out of it. I had to keep at him to find out when I was getting the installation and since he no longer worked for Guardian, he had to refer me to somebody else.
A few weeks after I closed, I called their 800 number and their customer service trying to find out how I was going to get my installation. Then I was able to get a date but two days before the schedule for the service, their local rep called me asking whether I still wanted the service. I told him that I still wanted the service and I was scheduled two days from that day. He said that it's not showing on his side and he was going to call me back but he never did. I ended up calling their 800 number and somebody confirmed that I was not scheduled for service. I got upset since I waited a very long time.
Finally, the date was set and they were coming to install the equipment. Then I was told that nobody had seen my record. Nobody had an idea that I was supposed to get service in two days. Then the first contractor came out on a Saturday and did the installation but the equipment didn't work that day. He said that there was something in my house that the magnetic strips were not reading. Somebody else came the following Saturday and he did a very good job. He walked me from A to Z, was very professional and made sure that everything worked. He also showed me how the app worked and had me set up the account online. His name was Christian and he redeemed Guardian in my eyes. I ended up calling Guardian on Monday and talking about him. Had it not been for him, I don't know what would have happened.
I like their security system's features. I had a few false alarms and I liked their response time. Before I got upstairs, they're already calling and finding out if everything was okay. There was also one time that I didn't realize the alarm was on. I went downstairs, the motion kicked on and I still didn't realize what was going on when I left the house. I was maybe 45 seconds out of the house and they were calling saying that someone tripped the alarm, which was impossible because I just left home. The rep said that somebody tripped the alarm and that she could either send the police or I could go back and double check. I went back and realized what I'd done.
The quality of their equipment is also very good. I like it that I can control the temperature and lights from the panel. My panel is downstairs and the thermostat is on the second floor. If I leave my phone upstairs, I don't have to go upstairs to adjust the temperature on the thermostat. I can do it right downstairs. I could also set the temperature. As soon as I leave the house, I arm the system and adjust the temperature right away. Then at some point, I'm able to adjust back to a comfortable temperature so when I get home, the house is cool. Since the system got installed, I've had a very good comfort level where I don't have to worry about somebody breaking in, either when I'm there or when I'm away. I feel secured having the system and I would recommend Guardian Protection Services.

I moved a couple of times, so I usually have to call in to get new window sensors or new equipment set up. With Guardian, everything has been normal and delivered as expected. The customer service is usually good and the technicians were nice. I’ve had their system installed in three houses. The most recent house was the most complicated. They had to come out three times to get everything working properly. The features included in my system are good and competitive with everyone else. I did get another price from PCT, and Guardian was still a much better price with good quality. I’ve had their security system for 10 years and I feel comfortable having their system and having it turned on. I’d recommend Guardian to others and although they had the same technology as everyone else, they are cheaper. They’re great, they meet all expectations, and they provide everything that I’m looking for in a home security system.

We just had our home built by Ryan Homes, and Guardian was the company they go with so I went with them. I had ADT in my other house but I wasn’t pleased with them so I went ahead and gave them a try. I have PTSD from the military, and I feel very safe with the services that they provide. However, their technician was very curt and condescending. When he installed the system, I asked him questions and he answered me in such a way that the message I got was that it didn't make sense that I didn't know the answers to my questions. I also ordered motion module but he didn't have it.
I told him that I'm not taking off work for two appointments and he told me that I need to talk to the office about that. He also called me the other day since we got our dates mixed up and I told him that I was not expecting him to come that day and that I was not available. He told me that I shouldn't make appointments if I'm not going to be available. He was rude and I’ve never experienced anything like that in my life. It was awful. And so, he didn’t do the module. He was very obnoxious and very unprofessional. Nevertheless, we've had positive interactions with other reps and they were glad to answer the questions that we had. Service-wise, they were great. Other than that technician, I would definitely refer them to any friends or family that are looking for an alarm company.

We got the Guardian system transferred a few months ago from another location and we had it at that location for probably four years. The installer was great. The reps from Guardian were very informative or engaging on what I have and the system in my home. I like the smartphone features and I've been able to activate and disarm my alarms anywhere at any time. The system Guardian puts on the windows and doors is way better than the system I had before. I recently got a door camera installed and they told me how to operate and work the system. The information was very quick.
We always feel secure with Guardian protection features, but when I had the door sliding panel, I had to get somebody to come out and reinstall it because it wasn't centered correctly at the door, and it was a minor adjustment. Also, I would like the doorbell monitor to be a little bit more responsive. It doesn't respond as quickly as like as soon as I hit the button, or there a motion over there. Plus, there's been a couple of times where the bell rang, but I didn't see anybody at the door. I like the system overall and Guardian is a marvelous service, but I would like it if they have a bigger interactive panel that did a little more.

Guardian's phone app is convenient. I found out today that there's something that I could use to pay online. They sent me the information. It would have been nice if I'd known that before because what I don't like is being charged $2 for a paper statement. Moreover, I was considering the camera outside the home so you can see who's out there because I wasn't aware that we weren't going to have peepholes. They didn't mention that to us, and had I known it, I probably would have actually gotten that feature added. But at this point in time, I'm not considering it.
The Guardian system has good quality except for the fact that I have a brand new sensor that has become faulty already. When I moved in, I had two Egress windows, and I was supposed to have just one. So, when the installation guy came, I had to get him to put one of the sensors on the second window, which is the sensor that is having some challenges. He installed it on August 5th and a week ago, I was at work and Guardian called to say that there was an issue with the reading. Twice already, the keypad had started beeping in the middle of the night, and it connected to that window from what I've been told by a representative. That faulty sensor, to me, is an indicator that something might not be right. The sensor is giving off a reading that could not be repaired by the Guardian's representative over the phone. They have a service call out today and it's not quite 4:00 o'clock yet but they have not arrived and I'm still waiting.
Since having Guardian Protection Services in my home, I’ve been pretty secure. I lock doors and windows all the time but it's good to know that if it goes off or if someone comes in the door, Guardian will be alerted immediately. It is great that even though I wasn't at home, someone contacted me when they received a faulty reading from that window downstairs. But I don't like the fact that if I wasn't off today, I would have to schedule time off of work to come here to let someone in to check that sensor. Their scheduling is not conducive for working people, like the 12 to 4:00 o'clock block off time. If I had to go to work today, that would have been an issue.

Guardian has been much better than my previous provider, CPI and we've gone through multiple security systems in the past years. The reps from Guardian have called a lot, but every one of them has been very good. It's also good because they are nationwide. They understand the scope of canceling, switching up to here and there. That’s why we went with Guardian. It's a bigger company and they really did the small things.
The installer was great. He stayed here for over four hours and he put up with my kids, my dogs and he came out here with a lot of equipment. It was a big job for him and he was great. Guardian's system features are a lot better than the others. It's a lot more stable, user-friendly and the cameras are just much better. I love the whole mobile app thing, so I can do it all through my phone. I also got the doorbell feature which was really cool. The overall functionality and performance of the system has been excellent. We just moved here about two months ago and we didn’t know the area in the other community and we feel safer with the security system. I would absolutely recommend them.

We got Guardian Protection Services through the New Development and this is the first system we’ve tried. The installers were good. However, my understanding from sales was different from the actual functionality of the feature with the garage door. When the installation guy came, I got the explanation of what it actually did and I had them take it back out. Another thing is the other systems, at least from what I've seen in advertisements, install all the equipment at no charge. I don't know if this had to do with Guardian Protection Services or the builder but the system came included with X amount of things, like the main entry door and so forth. And then after that, installation of additional things, like windows, were in some extra charge of $125 per window. What I understand for that payments is that from advertisements, it seems some of their competitors may do all that installation at no charge

My Guardian security system was included in the sales contract during the purchase of my home. For the first month while we have the system I had a dead battery and it took them forever to get a time when we were also available for them to come and reinstall it. But I can’t really blame the customer service side of it. It’s just in terms of installation I wouldn’t have minded if they had prepared. The problem is I can’t blame them or the builder. I'm not sure who it is to blame. The builder just seems to be silent and they like to pretend like they’re gone from the picture but they’re not.
But I like their customer service reps and their service technician. They were good at addressing my concerns. There is only one problem I had which I didn’t like and it couldn’t be addressed until a service technician came but once they came they fixed it. They are very good at addressing things. There are lots of false alarms but I’d rather be safe than sorry. It’s a little too proactive. I think I would have been okay with a quiet system but I can’t complain because it’s doing their job. Every time something goes off they call me. If I don’t respond in a certain amount of time they contact the fire department or law enforcement. My wife feels a lot more secure and she feels very happy.

When I was selecting certain things for my house like all the tiles, flooring, carpeting and paint colors, we sat down afterward with a Guardian representative. He went over what packages they offered and we signed up there. Everything looked good and decently priced. Then the guy who installed everything was very nice, knowledgeable and he did everything efficiently and explained everything in detail to us, so that was good. Now in the evenings when I go to bed and when I leave the house, I feel more secure. I'm very satisfied with the product and I would recommend it.

Guardian came with the house builders and it was easy getting the system put in. The installation was intimidating, too, because I'm not technically apt. But their reps did the best they could and answered my questions. So far, the system works and having it makes my wife feel safe. But I wish there was a booklet for dummies. When I tested it, it went off on me. Their response time was very quick though.

I totally not recommend this company at all. They are scammers. I had burglary in my house a couple months ago and they never update my payments for the city permit so the police never showed to my house. I got some things stolen and they say they won't cover nothing. I'm paying 60 a month just for a simple noise inside my house and a board that say, "Front door is open." Don't recommended. Scammers.

I built a home and Guardian was the company that the builder used. I scheduled the appointment with the builder, then Guardian's reps came and talked to me about the different products they offered. After I selected the product, they came and installed it. Also, I had the sound system put into my home and it had a dent in one of the speakers which they came out and replaced.
Guardian's system is user-friendly but I accidentally set the alarm off and this little thing blinking telling me that the alarm had been tripped wouldn't go away. I pushed enough buttons to where it finally did, but I would like do it the right way and I can't seem to find a manual for the actual alarm to tell me where all the different buttons on it are. They may have given one somewhere and it could be in this stack of manuals that I have. I've been trying to find one online but I wasn't able to that either. So far, the product acts the way they told me it was going to act and their reps have been responsive when I called. I like everybody there and they seem like they're a nice company.

Their reps helped me set up my install and choose the different items but I could have used a little more training on system to know and learn the system, especially that its a complicated system. I’m not a huge fan of Guardian Protection Services. Their installation folks have been awesome, but I had a poor experience overall. I asked Guardian to be let out of my contract when I moved because I’m in the military but it wasn’t a PCS. I moved areas so that I could be closer to a new position at work and Guardian did not accept that. And so I had to put the alarm in my new apartment, which I didn’t deem necessary. And I informed Guardian that I don’t agree with a 5-year contract for an alarm system, but I signed the contract and just trying to meet the fulfillment of it until I get a PCS because then I will never have their service again.

I was with Guardian Protection Services since 2002 then I stopped and got back. The installer was courteous but he refused to install one of the sensor apps on one of my windows until I called Guardian. He was about to leave but the customer service told him to do it and it was fixed. Everything is great.

Guardian was part of the service for Orion Homes and the reps were very helpful. They gave me all the information but the lines downstairs were a problem. I've got to give them a call, get a phone line down there and figure out how to get that to work. The installation was done before we got in the house. We did most of it then the guy had to come and make the hook up.
We were having problems with the camera system. We wanted it to show a picture once in range all the time but to do that you had to login every time. We're learning though and if we log in and leave it on we wouldn't have a problem. We also finally figured out what to do with the door and it's working now. The smartphone also is hooked up and the features are good if I use them. Right now I've got caregivers coming in and I'm afraid to give them the password but we talked about putting it on at night and I'm working on that right now. The system is easy to use and I can understand it.

I like the capabilities of using the wifi to disarm and arm my system. If I forget to arm it I could go ahead and just do it on the phone. I can also go online and check any statuses or to see if there's any entry or not. I like the functionality of the website. However, the sales guy wasn't really informative with regards to the model of the one that they were offering. I wanted to get more information. I'm a little bit of a techie myself so I like to know what type of equipment and things I'm getting. But the tech that came out to install the system and the additional equipment was great. He came in, did what he had to do, and answered all my questions. He was informative and courteous. I didn't feel rushed or feel like he just wanted to leave so that process went well. It also went well with their customer service when I contacted them to change my payment information. They're very courteous as well so I really like the experience I have with Guardian Protection so far.

Guardian is my first home protection system. I heard about them before and then when I met with one of their reps, the presentation was nice so I thought their services would be something that I’d like. I had a great experience with Adam, the installer who came out. He was very personal and he did a good job. He was a cool guy too. I also like the features that I currently have installed, although I’m still getting used to the functionality. I use the smartphone features as well and I look forward to familiarizing myself with my home security system, so that I can potentially expand on the features in the future.
Having Guardian Protections Services in my home is great since I travel a lot. I was in Chicago last weekend and it’s good to be able to leave and really not have any worries about your home or your belongings while you’re away. Also, in a situation when I needed some support, Guardian's reps were very knowledgeable and didn’t waste any time sending out someone. I’ve called their service line and they sent a tech out. He showed up on time which is important since I have a have a busy schedule. The rep also did a great job. So far, everything's been great with this company. The sensor was acting up. I wanted a pet-friendly sensor but at 3:30 in the morning my alarm’s going off because of my cat. The technicians that came in didn’t do a very good job and so I had another guy come in. He did things better. I also had a problem with the camera outside. That was just sitting there, swinging on the pole, and the last guys that came to fix it said they fixed it but it was broken, so I was a little upset about that. So, we also had some guy come out and fix it all up for me. It wasn’t like the technicians were mean or anything. They did what they had to do to set me up, but everything wasn’t perfect. They rushed me through, like what to see on the computer, because I have it hooked up to my phone to see that camera through my phone. Some of the technicians need to go to school to learn a bit more about what they’re doing.
Besides the problem with the technicians, things are all right with Guardian Protection Services. We kind of wish we had window sensors though. When I ask Anthony, the sales guy who was in this house, “Why can’t I get sensors on all the windows?” He tried to just drive that part off a little bit just to have the sensors in the main doors, the garage door, the front door, and the slider in the back. But, me and my wife are sitting here, wondering why we’re paying money when someone could break the glass and come in through the window. They have the sensor pointed towards the door, with the alarm on, you can walk through the whole house now, even with the sensor on. The alarms are not going off. So, we’re paying for nothing.

Guardian Protection Services is much better than my previous security provider. Guardian's security equipment is strong. I ring it off myself by mistake if I don't turn it off and it has been accurate. When we were getting the house, the rep explained to us the different pros and cons and everything that we could buy as an option. When we got the house, everything was installed except the subwoofers which the tech installed and linked up with the garage. The techs answered all my questions and were very helpful.
I like the app and its Scenes feature, how I can control my garage and everything with just a click and the different motions that are there. When I wake up, I can set my temperature and everything with one click. Also, my garage door closes and everything is taken care of. It's very helpful and it's good to know that with it, everything is closed down and the alarms are on.

I talked to Guardian's sales back and forth and then negotiated a price. It was all good. The guy that came out here to work on the system was really good too. I really liked him. He got it set up the way I wanted and tweaked it accordingly. It was already installed so he just updated some stuff and then he put in some glass break sensors. I'm real happy with it.
The system's features are all straightforward. My favorite is that I can arm and disarm and everything through my phone. The alarm has gone off accidentally twice. I came in, put a water bottle on the table and water bottle fell off the table and set off the glass break sensors. I just had them adjust it so it's not so sensitive. They did it easily and showed me how to do it if I want to adjust it. Everything seems to be working great and it's been a very good experience.

I would love to be rid of this company, but have learned I signed a 5 year contract!! Yes, apparently I didn't read it well, as I thought it was ONLY for 2 years. First they got into my house by stating they wanted to talk to me about updating my current system, so I thought they were Vivint, and they mentioned the company, but then we said we wanted an update, suddenly it became Guardian... The price was not what they said it would be, we've not been happy with them from the start. They gave us a video doorbell to make us "happy", which didn't work half the time. Just called them out to look at it, and they said it doesn't work... really. That's why I called you and now they want me to pay them for that... All they did was take it off the wall, which I have done many times in trying to get it to reset.
To replace our "free" doorbell after a year, they wanted nearly 300 dollars!! NO THANKS! The price quoted on the phone for a service call was ridiculous and then once here, they quoted an even higher price!! The app keeps messing up for me, it's been deleted and reinstalled multiple times, keeps telling me it failed to set the alarm, but does set it?! It's nothing but a headache since day one. I want out of my contract, I want away from this company and they want a flat-rate cancellation fee of $1200. They said didn't matter if I had one day or 4 years, it was $1200.

Guardian Protection Services is a lot easier to deal with as compared to the one I had from another home wherein I had to go through some mechanics as far as programming it and so forth. But Guardian is really simple to disarm and arm, put your code, and you’re done. I really like that aspect and I've been using it for two months now. Their rep was very understanding, very professional, and had a good explanation of the system. Their installers were excellent and knew exactly what they were doing. So far, the features offered were sufficient. They do exactly what I expected it to do, and it’s very good. I have not used their smartphone features yet. The only useful thing I use with my phone is the acknowledgment from Guardian that the system has been armed or disarmed at that time. There’s more security knowing that if something happens, there'll be an alert. All in all, they're very accommodating and they have a good product up to this point.

We got a brand new home and it has Guardian Protection Services built-in We got one motion sensor and both of our doors have a trip alarm built into it. Upstairs, we opted for two panels so we can have one inside the bedroom. However, we had a little weird experience with the tech who came out and turned the system on for us. We were in the middle of unpacking a bunch of stuff when we saw him pull up. He sat outside. I kept checking the window and kept seeing him out there and then all of a sudden he was gone. The tech said he came up and rang the doorbell and tried calling us but he didn't.
I got back in touch with him and he came back out later. He had discovered that the sensor, when they were installing it, clipped the wire. He installed a new sensor for us and then programmed it to our system. The only issue I had with it is that I don't know how long the delay is when it goes off and to disarm it before it's already going loud. But it's better than not having anything and overall, it's all good and I would recommend them.

I've had Guardian for a few years now and things are going great. I like the features. I like the service that's offered. I like the different things I can do with monitoring and with the app. It's very user-friendly. It all works and it does what it's supposed to do. I know that whenever something happens they're on the phone because it has happened a couple of times. Like when the alarm went off because we forgot to turn it off. I know they're unintentional tests but within a few minutes or within a few seconds somebody's on the phone. So I just have a lot confidence in them. Everything's gone smoothly and should a friend ask me about Guardian I would definitely steer my friend their way I'm very satisfied.

Our Guardian Protection Services system was installed 2 months ago and the guy was very professional and informative when he showed me how to use the system. It's easy to use and the features are good. Now, I feel secured and I sleep very well at night knowing that I have a security system. It was a good experience.

Things are going very well with Guardian. We’ve been with them a while and they’ve been great through all these years and they're prompt, too. Every feature has been updated and fixed. Before, the alarm would just go off randomly with no issues at all. We would be in the house and we would get a call saying the alarm went off. Everything was random in the system and the app, but they took care of the defects. They're working great now. I would definitely recommend Guardian.

I moved from one place to another and stayed with Guardian. Everything is going well. I like their rates and their services. I got the upgraded, most digital system right now and they installed most of that stuff for free. My monthly payment basically just went up about $30 a month extra than what I was paying with the normal system. Customer service was really good. They got here on time and everything during the installation was perfect. And if I had any questions they left me all the details. I have the two thermometers installed. Digital thermometers and the digital system with the access through Wi-Fi and I use it every day. I recommended them to one person already. They're excellent and I'll recommend them any time. They have excellent service and great technology. They're overall a great security company.

Guardian has a more up-to-date technology and their customer service is better than what I experienced with ADT. I've had Guardian Protection Services at my home in Wake Forest. And then, I had to transition and get new coverage for my house in Raleigh. The guy that I had to deal with there was super helpful with very clear communication. And the biggest thing with Guardian is when I spoke to them, I felt like I was speaking to Guardian. While I was with other home protection systems, there was a guy who called once, and he said, "Your system is out of date. You could come and change out your system." I don't know who he was, I wasn't home but my wife and kids were, and it was a super weird call. I've never had an experience like that with Guardian, and it's a check mark for them.
My system isn't extremely tech savvy. But I like the touchscreen system that we use, and the mobile app is great. I like that Guardian's customer service made a follow-up call to the installation that was done to make sure everything was up and running well. The rep asked if there was anything else they could do and she sent me some additional stickers to put on the windows. I live in a neighborhood that's older and a little bit more established. So, it gets kind of dark here at night. And the guys put a stake in the front yard, which says "You're protected by Guardian."

Almost everybody in our neighborhood has Guardian Protection Services. Also, Guardian has a doorbell that's cheaper and their system allows expandability. Our sales representative was Spencer who was a nice guy. He didn’t oversell us and he went through everything. He could have tried to give us a $1,500 job yet we ended up getting a $500 job, which was good. We had to wait for such a long time for a weekend install, which was annoying, but the installer guy who came was good and didn't hurry. He also put things on his shoes when he came in. He did a good job despite our internet being all weird at the time and the video doorbell taking all kinds of effort to set.
The features of the system are good but I can’t take advantage of some of them because of my frustrating internet. Outside of that, I love the fact that it has a garage door opener which would be handy so often. I rarely use the video doorbell but I use my smartphone features all the time. There was one time that I called customer service when I got an alert saying that something was wrong up on my door so I tried to arm the system. Everything’s been fine and the CS was on target and very quick to find out what was going on. Since having Guardian, my wife feels more secure. Everything’s been nice and we’ve recommended it to my in-laws.

We've had Guardian Protection Services since 9 years ago and we haven't had any issues. I would be happy if I could get all their features but I can't because we couldn't get an internet provider that has strong wifi where we live. Still, they did a great job for installation both the first and second time when we moved to the new house. If I've ever had a question, they handled it.

I was building my home when Guardian Protection Services had a special going on, where the SkyBell, which is like a glass break that has a couple of sensors, was included. So, I got their services, and the sales rep, as well as the gentleman who came up to do the installation were good. The installer was very professional, and he knew his job.
The system has great features. However, sometimes, the apps aren’t as proficient as I would like it to be. For instance, if somebody rings the doorbell and I go to the app on the phone to view the SkyBell, a lot of time, it doesn’t load. Though it might be an internet issue. Other than that, everything else works great. I get an alert through text message if someone’s at the door. If I have to turn the system off before I open the door, it lets me know if something’s wrong. The system works, and I’m satisfied with the overall service. From what I’ve experienced so far, they have a stellar customer service, and I’m pretty happy with them.

We learned about Guardian through our builder. We had a very good experience with them and they were informative, but since everything was happening when we were moving in we really don't have a full understanding of the system, so we're trying to learn it on our own. That's why today, I'm like, "Why is our day saying it's open when it is not?" So far, the equipment is very nice, and the smartphone feature is very interesting and convenient. I'm here by myself a lot, so having it is very good. I'm very pleased.

I had ADT before and I switched over to Guardian since it was available at the time of my house purchase.They sent somebody to the house to take a look at what was needed, and they provided me a quote. It was very straightforward and simple. The sales rep explained what was offered in the package and provided details on what the sensors were. The installer came in, replaced what he needed to replaced, explained the commands and the codes, finalized the setup and it was done the way it should be. The system is doing what it’s supposed to do and I’m happy with it. Having an alarm definitely makes me feel safer than not having one.

Whenever you put a security system, you sleep better at night. So, we got Guardian Protection’s services, and we had a good experience. We bought a new home and they did some of our wiring for our internet, as well. We got the upgraded version of their system, so we have their app on our phones, and we use that a bit to arm and disarm the system distantly using our smartphones. So, when we leave home, we don’t have to turn the alarm on using the touchpad before we leave. We like that function. Their system has neat features, and is easy to use. They have a good service, and we’d use it again.

The system that we purchased from Guardian Protection Services was a part of a brand new residence that was being built. I met their representative at the model home and he was pretty nice. The guy on site who set up our system was very pleasant as well, and he really connected with my husband. When the installer came out to install the system, it was already hardwired in. He just had to key in some codes and have us set up the app via online.
However, we also have ADT home security system but not in this home. And from our initial assessment, ADT is way better. I like the way the alarm talks to let you know if the system is armed or disarmed. Guardian’s system doesn't do that. And when I left yesterday, I typed in my code and hit away but my Guardian did not arm.
The only way I knew it didn't arm was because I didn't get the text message that said it was. So, I went into the phone app to arm it. However, had I not checked or looked for that text message, it would have been disarmed. Now, ADT does not have the text message feature that Guardian has. And I like that about Guardian. But it's way more important to make sure our home is armed than to get a text message. I will call them about this when I have the time. I haven’t had Guardian long enough to give it a fair assessment, but for now, if someone asks about Guardian, I'd say get ADT.

My installation experience with Guardian Protection was very good. The installer was a nice fellow and was very friendly. And he put the job in very good. I got motion sensors in the hallway and the room. I also got the doors covered. However, I had this trouble when I got a phone call from some man. He told me I had a weak battery or a loose connection on the cable. I couldn't say anything to him 'cause it was a recording. Again, I got about eight calls a few days later so I called different areas of Guardian and each one was more or less, pushing me around.
Finally, I called service and I told them everything about this man telling me about the battery. And the rep said, "We're in Virginia. We can't be there until the 29th." So, what I'm doing is wait until the 29th, and find out if they'll come to repair it. I'm just hoping that they get here the 29th. If not, then, I'm going to complain to somebody about it. I'm not completely satisfied with Guardian Protection. I just had it put in, and I've had nothing but trouble since.

I have been with Guardian for over 10 years. However, there was a miscommunication from my initial order of transferring my services from my old home into this new one. The rep left off something to secure my windows on the basement level which was the most important thing. Then, I waited a month later to get it taken care of. I would have been a bit more pleased if they could have expedited my services, but they did get to complete it. It just took too long to get my stuff connected but the rep I interacted with was very fast and very knowledgeable of everything that was going on in my house. I sat down and watched him, and he was very thorough.
So far, I haven't had a reason to use Guardian and I hope that I don't ever have to use it, but in the event that something happens, I don't know how fast everything would be reported to the police. But they did a test run and said that if the alarm went off, they wouldn't get the alert. So by them telling me that, I thought there might have been something they might want to expedite. But they just put that issue on the same service order that I had with the tech coming out to put the sensors on that was missed previously.
When the tech came, I told him about what happened about the test, and he did the test. Apparently, the tester alarm system had different wires that were connected and it was like a burning smell when he tested it. So, he took it off the wall and replaced it altogether. That's why they didn't get the correct reading when they did the initial test because the alarm or the sensor wasn't registering to them. But it was corrected. Nevertheless, I feel safe now that my windows are secure. Guardian adds a sense of security. Tracy was a good representative for following through on things. She did a great job. And since they gave me a good deal, I stuck with their service. They're a good company and I would recommend them.

I used a different home security provider prior to using Guardian Protection Services and Guardian has more features. My interaction with the sales reps at Guardian was relatively trouble-free and it was a good experience. The customer service people were pleasant, but it took a couple of times for the problem in the system to be solved. The tech was very informative and very knowledgeable but we had to have him come back twice to get some of the glitches out. I also wasn’t happy about not being told that we needed a certain speed of Wi-Fi in order to make some of the tasks work well. The doorbell video doesn’t always work and it's because of our internet speed, but we weren't told that ahead of time.
We like the features that we have but I wish we could use them and that they were more reliable. They don’t always integrate with the lock, which has been offline several times. It has had issues arming and disarming because of the amount of time that it takes. When our Wi-Fi is off or not working for some reason or if we have a slow connection, none of the remote features will work, which is inconvenient, to say the least. I wish I had been informed about the Wi-Fi speed issue beforehand. So, I'd tell a friend who asks about Guardian to check on the Wi-Fi speed and make sure the features are all going to work.

I moved to a new residence, and the previous tenant had Guardian, so I decided to go with them. I called them initially about the service, and once the salesperson called me, he gave me some quotes and explained everything in detail. He also worked with me a little in reference to a doorbell I purchased that didn’t work. On the other hand, the installation crew took several hours to complete the installation. Since the system was already pre-installed, they didn’t have to do any wiring. However, because their system was down internally at the time, we had to wait about 3 hours before the system came up. But, besides that, everything was okay.
I got the doorbell camera, and I don’t like the fact that it is too sensitive. I’d put the setting as low as possible, but it sets off all the time, and I get emails and text messages all day, anytime there’s any sort of motion anywhere around my home even though I don’t live in a crowded street. Then when I playback the video, there was no motion there. I also don’t appreciate where the keypad is located. I requested that I get a little chime each time my door opens. But since the keypad is located in the basement, I can’t hear it up in my bedroom. I asked the technician at the time if there was a way that they can install another keypad or some sort of speaker so that I can hear the door when they open, but he said that it was not an option.
Subsequently, I talked to other people and they are saying that that was an option because my siren, as well as other stuff with the alarm is up in my bedroom. So, the chime should work the same way. So, I had to put in a request to have a technician come out. This was a little less than I anticipated. But overall, Guardian Protection Services is okay. In fact, I wanted to get an alarm system installed at my mother in law’s home too, since I recently had it and I know that they service the area as well. So, I told the technician at the time, and he said that there would be a salesperson calling. But I haven’t heard from anyone. So, I think my mother in law is ready to call AT&T.

The first person who was in the house before me had a panel so I went with it, but it was bad so, the technician from Guardian put a new panel in. He was very good and he was there a long time. The customer service rep was very good but she was aggressive. I signed a five-year contract that I didn't want and it was so fast. I didn't realize that until after it was over. I was not pressured, but she said, "Let's get going. Let's get going." I was very uneasy. Be careful who you talk to and don't be pressured or pushed.

Our builder has a contract with Guardian, and that's how we found out about them. We went to their showroom and picked out what they said we were supposed to pick out. Installation was all great except for the cameras.The features on the device are nice, but the cameras don't get a very wide angle view. They are very narrowly focused. I had asked for some different cameras and they said, "No, those were the standard". If I wanted the upgrades or the other cameras, then I would have to pay a lot of money to get those. The technician we dealt with was good, and the quality of the system we got was pretty good as well -- they are about equal as the other security systems I have had. I love the smartphone features and I use them all the time. Guardian was adequate and it covers the need.

I am so dissatisfied with the service of this company. First I was never told that I will be having damn 5 years contract. I called them and they told me that I have signed the contract for 5 years. I don't remember signing in any contract for 5 years (or they tricked me and got my sign). Now they have reported it to collection for the bills. What kind of system is this? You can't even get out of the service that you don't want? Are they really concerned about the service or the money they can get from the people by lying and making them sign with a trick. This is the first review of my life. I don't like writing review even if it's too good or too bad but this company made me do so and I will continuously be writing about them on all the blogs I see from today.

When I was having my house built, the builder told me about Guardian who they normally use to do their setup for the alarm systems. I met Guardian's salesperson, and he showed me some plans that I liked. I like all the features offered in the system. I got the cameras outside, and I could turn my lights on and off remotely, which I really like. I used to have ADT, which was okay but Guardian offered me more amenities.
The installation was fine, but once in a while, I had to call their helpdesk and ask how to do things because the installer really did not explain in depth how the alarm works, and they would walk me through it. But then when he had to come back for service calls to fix the problems I was having, he went back with more detail to tell me about it. But some type of manual that comes with the system would be very helpful. I'm highly satisfied with them right now.

We got a new house, and as a bonus, it came with an integrated automated feature from Guardian Protection for our front door lock and thermostat that I can run through my phone. Prior to the settlement of the house, somebody from Guardian came for us to sign the paperwork approving to have the system installed. And then, after we moved in, a technician came out to install the device and got me set up with the mobile app. The system works, and I like it. It does exactly what they’re supposed to. It’s convenient, efficient, and does everything that I hoped it would.

The previous owners of our home had Guardian's service within a contract, and we agreed to take it. Transferring it over to me was really easy, which was nice. My wife handled it when they came. They set it up, and she said everything went good. They set our apps, and got our payment set up as well, so it went well. I am happy with everything, everything works well, and it's sufficient. Guardian is simple, but it's a little difficult sometimes to customize. Sometimes it acts like the motion sensors are always on when it is not. Definitely, having the device makes you feel more secure especially when I'm gone. I know nothing is going to happen, and if it does I'll know about it immediately. If you don't mind paying the monthly, I'd recommend them. It's worth it.

ADT was going to charge me $500 for the installation and the unit but Guardian called me up and pretty much gave me free installation and unit so I went with them. It would have been nice if they also offered their customers a free doorbell camera for signing up. It's the latest and greatest in technology today and they might close some more deals. But the reps were excellent all of the time. We added smoke detectors because the ones we had didn't work anymore. The technician knew his stuff and did a good job putting the system in. We've had it for a few months and my son doesn't like it because it goes off when he comes home at night. It was very loud so we definitely heard it. But he's 24 so we really don't care plus I'm sleeping better now. Guardian offers good quality product and service that provide us with a better sense of security.

When our new house was built, I called Guardian Protection Services and told them exactly what I wanted, and the representative gave me the price for everything. He was very professional and didn’t try to upsell me stuff. They worked seamlessly. With Guardian’s system, we can move around the house once it’s set, unlike our previous system where we would set it and go right to bed. I sleep better knowing that we have Guardian’s system because we have every door and window on our lower level, and porches in the upper level. So, if somebody hops and tries to get in that window, we have all these sensors, and if I hear it in my room upstairs, I have time to be proactive.
My husband travels a lot for work. So, I’m home alone with my son a lot. So, I feel like once I hear the alarm, I can get my firearm. I also like that, when I open front door, it says “front door.” I have a two-year-old, and so, if he opens the door, I know right away that he’s heading out. We love our security system from Guardian, and I feel 10 times more secure knowing I have it. We are 100% satisfied, and so happy with the service. We’ve told our realtor about our experience with it.

Guardian has good customer service. Their personnel have been very responsive and polite and did their job. The initial proposal going down through the plan was fine and then, a person came out to go through the system with me. I also called the 800 number once after that and it was very good, too.

I moved into a new subdivision. A Guardian rep knocked on my door, introduced himself and explained what services they provide. He was knowledgeable and wasn't as pushy as other people. And I knew a few people that had Guardian, too. The guys who came out to install knew what they were doing and they put the system and the pad where I wanted them. It was a simple and quick installation, and I was expecting it would take them a lot longer so I was pretty impressed. I like that I have an app and I can control everything with it. I'm mainly at work and when I'm away from the house, it gives me peace of mind that I have a security system and if anything were to happen, I'll get an alert on my phone.

I like the home security system but I'm not pleased with Guardian now because I got no sign from them and I'm still paying two services. I paid the first month and the $75 bill when they started the alarm. I tried to call my representative but got no answer. I'm trying to figure out if I'll still have Guardian or my old alarm back in here. I wrote a letter and they said they're going to mail the letter out but the letter ended coming back to my house. I spoke to somebody from Guardian and told them. They don't want to send me the last month because they needed that letter so they can send it. I told them, "I shouldn't have to. You don't need any letter if I want to cancel your service. That's what I want to do". I'm stuck in the middle of two people trying to draw money from me.

Some of my friends said that they’re very pleased with Guardian and explained that a lot of their customer base was built around customer service. I also did a little bit of research and some of my friends that had ADT had complaints that if they had problems, ADT would take a day or a few days before somebody comes out to check the system. But it was different with Guardian per what I thought to be some reliable resources so I went with them.
A gentleman came to install the system and he was pleasant to deal with. He was quick, very professional and knew what he was doing. He explained different things or options that I could do, whether it be in motion or just the wireless sensors that are on the doors and windows. It felt easy and very comfortable dealing with him. Also, there was a solar eclipse on the day that he installed the system and my wife and son happened to be home. They kept going outside to see if there was some drastic change while the installer was working and trying to set up the system. They kept opening and closing one of the doors that had a sensor on it but he handled it.
There’s also a drastic change in our sense of security since we started having Guardian. I worked as a fireman and I need to make sure that my family's safe when I'm home or not. My free time should be spent with my family and Guardian made that easy and seamless. One time, the alarm had gone off when I opened the door and it’s the assurance that if the alarm’s going to go off on me, it will go off too to any kind of prowlers that will try to come through.
I've told a couple of friends about Guardian. I raved about their system especially from it being wireless and that I’m able to set it from a phone especially when I’m not home. We have a one-year-old and he wants to run in and out. My wife sometimes has her hands full so when she's at home, she's able to shut off the alarm and do everything prior to unloading him from the car. That’s super convenient and that's one of the features that I also boast about Guardian when I let my friends and family know about them.

Guardian was connected to our builder and we had experience with them. We had them in Texas for six years before we moved to Ohio. The salesperson was very knowledgeable and he took us through all the features that were available and made himself available if we had a question. The installation though was a little strange but it went okay. It worked but it wasn't quite right.
The system features are great but we don't use it extensively. We set it at night and sometimes when we leave. We used it more in Texas than we do in Ohio as there's a little more crime in Texas. Back in Texas when we needed to troubleshoot, we always got prompt service and they seemed to know what they were talking about because they fixed our problem. We feel pretty secure with Guardian and I'd recommend them.

When I bought this house, they have a system that wasn’t working and I didn't sign up. I was wondering about installing a security system and one day, one of the guys from Guardian Protection Services showed up at my door and explained to me how that works and the prices of the system. I agreed with what they showed me. I’m very satisfied until now, I see no problem and everything is working fine. The technicians were very courteous and they explained the item that they were installing and showed me it works. I can see from my phone what’s going on outside or in my living room so I like it and that’s something that I enjoy. The security equipment is great. I use the smartphone feature to see the videos on the camera and it works well, although sometimes there’s a lag. Yesterday, I tried to set up the alarm and it took a while to respond.
I wanted this is for my 87-year-old mom because sometimes we have to leave the house to do different chores and she doesn’t want to get out with us, so she’s by herself. So, I feel more comfortable now that she’s at home with the system that can help us if something happened. I hope the community sees what I have and hopefully, they’ll get more clients because I'm very happy with the system. I will love to recommend to everybody. In fact, I talk to my neighbors and explain that I have this system and hopefully, somebody becomes interested.

Guardian Protection Services is great. I had them in my other house, and I just transferred the service and added a new system to the new house. And because my daughter was staying at that other house, Guardian transferred the system there over to their name. Setting up service with Guardian is easy. I told the lady who I spoke with on the phone the equipment that I wanted and she sent the tech out with the equipment that I asked for. The tech came in and installed the equipment all in the exact locations that I asked for it and it was a good experience.
I like the features that we have in our home security system. Guardian had it pretty much all covered. Since having our system, we have the ease of mind that we can leave the house and put the system on, and our house is guarded. We can watch our cameras through online. So, if anyone is to go in or try to break in, we’ve got something that’s going to deter them, alert authorities and let us know somebody’s trying to get into our house. I would recommend Guardian to my friends.

I used a utility concierge when we bought our house to set up the initial stuff through Guardian and the pricing, options, technology were more in line with what we wanted. The installation went smoothly and the tech who came to my house was very knowledgeable and friendly. We discussed where I wanted the control panel put in and from there on the tech installed it. He would bring things to my attention if he thought of it and answered any questions so it was painless. He seemed to care about doing his job and making sure I understood everything the system could do for me.
I like how I can control everything from my cellphone but when I set the alarm to stay mode I would like for the doors to be instant at that point. The system seems like a good deal to me and it makes me feel more secure. My husband leaves before I do in the morning for work so I can set the alarm to stay mode, go about my business and not worry about whether or not I heard something. Guardian is easy to use and I would highly recommend it.

The Guardian Protection installers were very professional, and everything was good with the sales and customer service teams. But my dog does not like all the noises coming from the system. When I set it at night and it counts down for 60 seconds, she is petrified. I already talked to Guardian Protection about it and lowering the volume was the only solution they came up with.
When my husband opened the door and didn’t think to disarm it, we didn’t hear Guardian Protection call because I turned the volume all the way down. The system beeps more the closer it gets to 60 seconds being done and even though I lowered the volume, my dog is still afraid of it because she knows that’s where the sound is coming from. She still freaks out when the system is counting down, but not quite as bad. The alarms my kids have don’t do this countdown. They arm it, there’s a beep and that’s it, so it would be nice if that’s all our system has.

We have a brand-new house and we were given Guardian Protection Services. The setup and installation of the security system were both done through Ranger. I filled it all out with them and when the system was installed, they added all the glass break sensors, alarm, cameras and things that we asked for. It was easy and quick, and all the features are fine. We’ve used the smartphone features for the camera and for setting and undoing the alarm. Our daughter goes home from school alone so we can monitor when she comes in and turn the alarm off so my wife likes it. I would recommend Guardian.

We've had Guardian Protection Services since last month. A security system was already in here when we moved in and we just hooked up with them. The customer service rep was very friendly and helpful. The technician came out to put in some new equipment and the interaction we had with him was fine. He was really nice and we had some other people here that worked right around him with no problem. We're still unpacking the system and figuring it out. It's a combination of a lot of things. There are several features in the system and they have some good ideas, as otherwise I wouldn't have gotten the service. My daughter uses the feature that connects with her smart phone. Since we've had Guardian's service, I've felt a change in our overall sense of security, knowing that it's there.

Guardian was part of the new construction package of our builder. We dealt with their customer service setting up the entire home from a security perspective during the pre-construction phase of the building. We talked to them briefly for the turning on of the system too. They handled things positively overall. Guardian has features that are pretty comparable to other systems and companies out there so we're pretty happy with it.

I have Guardian on my rental properties, as well as on my other properties and I've had them for 10 years now. My homebuilders were the ones who put us through them. The guy from Guardian who came out was cool and showed me how to do everything. He showed me the different app on my phone and all that stuff. He did a good job and it was a good experience. They also let me know that I didn’t arm my system and I still can arm it from my phone, so that’s really helpful. Overall, the system is very good.
