We like Guardian Protection real well. We've had it so long because we had it at our store and then when we had our house we had it put in our house too and that's a long time ago. We got Guardian's fire alarm and house protection and we're very satisfied. If we had to build another house, we'd put it in there too. If we ever had a problem, their sales reps have been here to help us. They were nice too and we weren't afraid to let them in. They were great.

I’ve had Guardian for more than 20 years. When I call them when something comes up, they take care of it right away. They put a battery in a couple of months ago for me, and we've also used them at certain times and I’m pleased with them.

The reps from Guardian helped me a lot with the system and they taught me how to use it. I like that the system alerts me if I left a door or a window open and then I use my phone to turn the alarm on and off. It's been a good experience overall.

The previous owners of our house had Guardian installed so when we moved in, everything was set up and we continued with the same service. Their people were very nice whenever I had to call for questions. There was some issue with the chime one time so I contacted them and they guided me through how to fix it. Then, there were multiple codes that I didn't know but then they told me that there were more codes. I didn't know what I should do in the case of break-in so they helped me with that. So far, whenever I called, I have received answers and callbacks. They were very cooperative and they always call back whenever the alarm goes off. They are on top of that. I'll recommend them to my friends.

I got the motion sensors, the door sensors and the panel from Guardian Protection Services. I have a small office so the system is for safety. I also have another alarm on my other business and it's also Guardian. And so far, the service is good and I like it. It has the app and any activity on the store, I get notified. I get an email and a text right away if someone enters the store. It also keeps record who comes in and comes out. Plus, when my employees come to the store, I know when they punch in, punch out.

Guardian's doing everything they're supposed to do. We have the alarm system setup with them and it's really good. If there's any problem or if the alarm happen to go off accidentally, they call us right away and everything's taken care of automatically. They're also good when we change codes or add or delete people.

We’ve had Guardian for many years. If there was any issue, their people have always been responsible. Most individuals need some type of security in the environment that they're living in. Back then, it was a decision between Guardian, ADT and some of the other services that were available but we went with Guardian based on what the neighbors might have had. We have the standard package and so far the service has been more than satisfactory. Otherwise, we would have changed the service.

When we bought this house, Guardian Protection was already installed. We've contacted the sales reps once or twice because we forgot our password. They gave it to us freely and it was right. We've done some testing of the alarm, and got a quick response from the team at Guardian. But we need to do the testing again. On the whole, we've had an excellent experience with them.

I wanted to get a security system, and someone recommended Guardian Protection Services so I went with them. The service has been good so far. I didn't have any problems with the sales representative at Guardian and their installation people were fine. Overall, my experience has been good.

I chose the monitoring system from Guardian Protection Services that has a motion detector on while I'm away. It has detectors that are on the front door, the back door, and the garage door that go off when the door is opened, away or at home. It came with two keypads and they also threw in a glass-like monitor. It was a package deal and a good idea because I've been broken into before. So far, so good. I haven't had any problems with it. The worst thing about the sales reps is that they had a hard time getting up here but that was due to my work schedule. Other than that, our interaction went well. They're easy to contact and sometimes they would hit voicemails and vice versa because I work too. The installer was also nice. He showed up on time and gave me a call just to bring one here. I misunderstood a couple of things at first but they resolved those so its worth it.

I liked the fact that I was able to upgrade my Guardian Protection Services coverage and the price was reasonable compared to what we were previously paying. I have security monitoring, motion detectors, window alarms, and glass break sensors as I feel having all these features was the best way to secure the home. The sales reps were all really good. They seemed very knowledgeable and gave me everything I needed. Their install guy was also excellent. He was a nice guy. He recommended some things and did his work efficiently. He kept us informed of everything and told us what the options were. I was very pleased with his installation. So far, it's been great with Guardian. They seem very reputable. Customer service has been really good, so I'm very satisfied.

I'm getting older and I want a little more security so I got Guardian Protection Services' alarm system with glass break detector and sensors on the outside doors. Their installer came and did what he had on his order. He was quite pleasant, very efficient, and did what he was supposed to do. However, I fully expected to invest in some things like a video doorbell and I was told that would be covered later, but later never came.

I called Guardian Protection Services and talked to their rep about it, ordered it, and within two days, they were out there. The one that I have is 24/7 wherein when it goes off, they notify the police or fire. Their installer was very nice and professional. He walked me through everything because I’m not computer savvy and he was fabulous. So far, I'm a hundred percent satisfied with them.

I've had a good experience with Guardian Protection Services. When we bought the home, the people here had previously had Guardian's security services. So we signed on with Guardian, liked their features and kept them. So far, I'm highly satisfied with the service. They respond to my needs. When I call the reps for customer service or to get some maintenance done, I get an immediate response.

When we purchased the house, the Guardian security system had already been installed so we continued the service. The reps have been very good. Our smoke detectors went off a couple of different times and they called us immediately. I was having difficulty taking it off and they were very patient and they walked me through it. Also, the cost of the service has always remained constant, as opposed to all the other utilities going up so we’re very satisfied with the service. We’ve been contacted by other companies and we don’t even want to be bothered.

We got the fire and all of the external perimeter stuff from Guardian Protection - glass breakage, windows and doors. Most of them were preinstalled in the house, so it was a question of getting it hooked up and up and running. The installers were very thorough. There was one guy running all the diagnostics to make sure everything was working correctly and got us all set up with the website and the app. It went very smoothly and the services have been fine so far.

Following our builder's recommendation, we signed the contract with Guardian Protection Services for $49.95 a month. We got their standard security system with 24-hr monitoring and an upgrade which sends me and my wife an alert if we forget to close the garage door when we drive off in the morning. And then either of us can close it from our phones. That's a nice feature. Guardian wired the house okay and their customer service team is friendly, but we've had billion problems since we've moved in. They misled right from the start.
We were supposed to pay starting the 1st of March which was when we took ownership of the house, but they backdated it through the date of installation instead so there was an extra charge on the first bill. They couldn’t activate anything until we took ownership of the house, so they charged us for 21 days of service where there wasn’t any service. They said it's their standard policy so I paid that extra $38. But then the next month, there was another $20 charge for permit fees which they didn’t say anything about when we bought the warranty.
And then the next month, there was a $20 charge for equipment install. We had to call them to ask what equipment did they install after the initial setup but they they were not sure what it was, so I told them they need to take that off. They corrected both times, but we had to call them and there shouldn’t have been an issue. If they're willing to correct it with a phone call, chances are that there wasn’t anything there to start with. And that’s my concern. If you have a trusted service provider, you don’t audit their bill every time. The bill comes in, you just pay it. The billing people didn't know why the charges were on there, but for me, as easy as they take the charges off, they're expecting the call. It may be a standard practice, and that’s a shame. If anyone calls, they just credit it. But what about the 50 out of a 100 who don’t call?

I had Guardian in my last house where I lived and their system was already installed in this building when I moved in. I just took it over. However, I'm never sure if it's working or not. I also have the extra button to push in case I fall and I hope it's working. But I've been satisfied with Guardian and felt safe while I had it on. And whenever I call them, they've been very courteous and helped me on my way. I would recommend them to a friend.

I had ADT but since my wife and I are both in bad health, I was persuaded when Guardian Protection Services came up with health alert buttons. These health alert buttons, together with doors and motion detectors were included in the service package that I purchased. I am satisfied with the service so far. One time, my wife accidentally set her health alarm off and it took me a second to figure out how to shut it off. Once I got it, somebody called to check and see what was wrong, and I had to explain that it was an accident. The people who came and installed the security devices were nice and polite. They installed within an hour on the same day I bought it and it was good. A guy was here to check it out and made sure everything was working right.

I stupidly got Guardian years ago for my house, and I didn’t realize I was signing a 10-year contract. They're terrible and I don’t like them at all. They lock you into these long contracts and they’re all about collecting their monthly fee. If they were smart, they would revisit all their customers’ contracts and renegotiate them, but they don’t want to do that. They’re not very customer-centric.
I’ve always gotten a resolution because I’m pretty persistent, but the last issue that I had was at my store. The battery was going dead and when I went down to look in the main compartment, I saw that there was a lot of residue. I called Guardian and they had someone come out and change the battery. The technician said, “We’ll have to charge you $100 for the service call". But they did come out and didn’t charge me the service charge. They only charged me for the battery, which was fair. I understand they have to send somebody, but they didn’t even want to send anybody and even the service guy said I could buy the battery online myself. I’m like, “Why wouldn’t you want to help me, your customer? Why wouldn’t you want to engage me at every opportunity and make sure my system’s up and running?” Overall when my contract’s up with Guardian, I’m not gonna renew them because there are many other sources I can use now.

Guardian was referred to me by a friend. The salesman asked me about my situation, what I have and then he made a recommendation on what features to get. We have the alarm systems, doors and windows motion sensors. I was pleased with the installation. The installers were professional, talked me through and taught me everything. Everything's been good and we haven't had any problem with Guardian. It was already installed in the building when I started about 7 years ago. It may have been installed ever since we got a system and it's the only one that's ever been in here. We have the keypads and the alarms on the doors so when one opens the door, a chime goes off. We have that on all the doors, even in the offices upstairs. Sometimes the alarm will start beeping and then we have Guardian come out and they mostly just change the battery.

I like Guardian fine. The guy that came out here and did the installation of the security system was terrific. I got a different take on each guy that came in. The previous guy had said, "It's this." But the other guy said, "No, no. He didn't do it right. I have to do this." So we got the same guy two or three times, and it was perfect with him.

My father works for a locally owned security company up in Hagerstown, Maryland. He did a little bit of research to find a comparable company here in the North Carolina area for us and he found the Iwatch Company in Raleigh which uses Guardian Protection Services. We ended up getting Guardian's standard monitoring glass break, door and window contacts, and the smoke detector. We had a minor billing snafu where both Iwatch and Guardian charged us for our first month. I just sent a quick email and said we got charged like five days apart from the two companies, and Guardian took care of it. They gave us credit for the next month. We've only had Guardian for a couple of weeks but we're pleased so far.

We got Guardian's monitoring service with the panic buttons and the app from smartphones. So far, the service has been really good and the people at Guardian have been very professional and helpful. The installation guy took as much time as we needed to explain the system to us and to make sure that he had it set up appropriately for our house and for what we needed. The app is really convenient because I always forget to set it before I leave. Overall, my experience has been positive and consumer-driven because they wanted to put in what I needed. They didn’t try to push me into anything.

One time, my house got broken in and I didn't had an alarm system at that time. I went and got one through my insurance agent and she got me one that was affiliated with them which was Guardian. So far, they have been pretty good and everything has been working fine.

We love Guardian. We’ve had them for about 15 years and they’re always very nice and understanding when we had false alarms. Sometimes we come down, forget to turn the system off or we let the dog out and the system goes off. And when that happens, they're quick to follow-up. They’re very reliable and I trust their protection. Their system makes me feel very confident and we’re very happy with it.

Guardian is a very reputable company and we've had them for 15-20 years now. I never had a problem and when we needed their help they were there for us. We've had a couple of times where the alarm went off either by our mistake of pressing the wrong button or whatever when we first started and their response was very quick. The fee has gone up since we first started and the people who came to our home and described what the service was about were very informative. Whatever they told us about the alarm, we were very pleased enough to become a subscriber and I have mentioned it to two or three other neighbors who did take advantage of it all. We're very satisfied with what we have.

I've got a new monitor thing, alarm and pendant in the service package that I bought from Guardian Protection Services. The installation guy was fine and knew what he was doing. At that time, I couldn't get my phone to work properly so we couldn't install the app on my phone. The rep kept going over and over with me on how to use the pad on the wall. I then I understood it and I was able to work it. But when I went to sleep, I forgot what they told me, especially that I don't have a strong memory. So, I'm not able to work it again. I was dissatisfied because I didn't get any paperwork to understand it and they didn't leave me any instructions on paper. If the alarm will go off, I wouldn't know what to do.

Guardian keeps on increasing their price and they do this quite often. I have a dog, and the motion monitors go off quickly.

I’ve been with Guardian Protection Services for about 10 years, and I’ve never had a problem with them. My experience has always been good. I once called them and asked what the problem was because the system was beeping and they told me it was the battery. I could’ve bought one from a battery place real close to my house, but they said they had them and so I told them I'd buy it from them. They couldn’t have been any nicer and they sent the battery to me within a short amount of time.
They're a very good company. They've been in business for a long time and I would recommend them to anybody. I do not need a burglar alarm in my house but I have it in case I want to turn it on. It is so safe here in Wexford where I am at, but I keep it because they're good people. They send me letters all the time of what to be aware of. I’m not going to quit them and I will stay with them until they put me in the marble orchard. I’m satisfied with everything, except the price which keeps going on higher and higher.

The prices were a little bit high in the beginning, but after going back and forth and Guardian seeing that we’ve been long-time customers, they were able to come down to a reasonable price and offer us the service that we have now. My wife said that the installers were very professional, cleaned up after themselves and did a pretty good job. And they left in a reasonable amount of time. I haven’t had any issues for the 15 years that my parents have had them. I'm very satisfied with their service.

Guardian was already installed in the home that we recently purchased. The company did exactly what they said they would and the initial setup process was easy. When I called, they sent me a contract by email, they followed up and they wanted to come out the day we were closing. They were more than accommodating, which made the process a lot easier. The process was quick. They were very professional, very caring and they made sure that we understood everything.
A gentleman then came out to reactivate the system. He was on time and courteous. He requested the office to give me a call ahead of time and he said the message didn’t circle down to him. I told him I was about 20 minutes away and he waited with no problems. He explained everything well, showed us how to use the system, set up our account online, and made sure that we understood everything. Things with him were really good.
We live in a three-story townhouse and the pre-installed features of our system included the motion detectors and sensors on the doors. However, there was no keypad downstairs and I really wanted a way to be able to remotely control the system. But we have the mobile setup and we can control everything through our phones. Everything has been fine and I've been satisfied with my service.

We've had a really long time with Guardian Protection Services until we had their service turned off. Having Guardian was a waste of my money and time because state police never showed when the alarm went off. The only thing they did was call my parents who were in their middle '70s and asked them to come up and check the house. They also called one of my boys and had him come up, which I thought was ridiculous. That's not why we got it. The people themselves are really nice, but I didn't appreciate the part that the state police are not gonna be notified and show up, just family members. And they do not tell you that when you get the alarm system. We finally had enough of them so we cancelled them.

We found Guardian at a home show and we were very happy with the interactions we had with their salesperson at the booth. That was what sold us. A technician came here and was on time. He did a very good job and explained everything to us. We already had a system so he upgraded it with the touchscreen panel. We have the thermostat and image sensor since they come in very handy for us. We love the thermostat and we use it all the time. We use the image sensor a couple of times and I like the peek in feature.

My father has dementia and is no longer able to live in his home. While the contract clearly states the service is for 60 months, I would expect it to be terminated for an elderly person (who pretty clearly had dementia when the system was sold to him) on a limited income. At the time of installation I was shocked because my father clearly thought he had received a "free" system. The contract shows that he paid 640.00 up front in addition to the 40.00 per month monitoring fees.

I was gonna go with SimpliSafe but the sales rep from Guardian that I talked to was pretty knowledgeable about these alarm companies and he explained some things about SimpliSafe and proved that Guardian is a good company. I wasn't going to try to hear him when he first approached me but he got my attention and made me listen. He was great, very knowledgeable and polite. I was gonna size Guardian up but he explained everything and he opened my eyes to a lot of things and I really appreciate that. I'm really grateful that I listened and I love the burglar alarm system. It lets me know when someone is approaching the front door. I'm really enjoying it and I haven't had any problems with it. I've already told my visitors and relatives who come over about the system and recommended it to them.

I already had a system in and when I had read all the fine print and had called my other company, it turned out that I still had a year left on my contract and was going to cost me $1,000 to get out of it. So in turn it was gonna come back and bite me so I cancelled with Guardian within the three-day policy with no penalties. They ended up taking everything back out. So I only had the service for about a week.
But from what I’ve seen on Guardian, they have a nice service and I like the system that they put in. Even when they took the system out, I was still getting daily reminders on my phone saying that I’m having problems with my system.

Guardian is great overall. Our alarm doesn't go off all that often, but there have been a couple of times where the alarm went off and I had to go down and reset it. For instance, we have a motion detector at the base of the staircase, coming from the basement up to the first floor. So if somebody broke a window in the basement to try and come up, it would set it off. We had a couple of times when a spider or centipede moved in front of it and set it off but nobody called. But everybody's allowed once or twice to mess up, so Guardian is still pretty good. We're happy with the experience.

I purchased Guardian Protection Services through Ranger Technologies and the woman who sold it to me was very nice. Their installer came on time and he was really good and very knowledgeable. It's only been a couple of weeks but their service has been good so far. Overall, it's been a good experience. However, the charges that I'm paying per month is a lot higher than some of the other offers and I only found out after I already purchased from them.

The Guardian Protection Services sales rep was friendly, answered all my questions and installed the system pretty quickly. When the battery fell out, he came back a second time. He didn't live far away from here so he came right by and took care of that. In the three weeks so far, everything has been good. The system is pretty much the same as the one I have at work. I turn it on, disarm and arm it. I don't have any problems with the service and I'm pretty satisfied.

I’ve had Guardian Protection for a long time. I’ve never had any problems with it that’s why I have never changed. I’ve also had a lot of offers for upgrading and other companies have this other stuff that you put on your phone and look at your house but I don’t do that. I have a flip phone and I’m fine with the simple stuff I have. Also, the price has gone up a little bit here and there, but for as long as I have the security system, I can’t complain about that either. I’m retired, so I really don’t leave the house a whole lot and I haven’t really activated my system for a while but I had somebody call me and asked if everything was alright and to test my system periodically.
I’ve had a couple of times where my alarm went off where I had forgotten to lock my back door. When I closed my front door, it was a windy day, I had set the alarm and my son’s calling to tell me the police is in the backyard. A few times that it has accidentally gone off, the police have been here pretty good so the system works. But I thank God I’ve never had to say that somebody was really breaking into my house. I live in Clairton and it’s a bad town. Also, I have a sign out there and I think that’s why nobody has attempted to break in. In addition, there's a lot of cars on our driveway so they never know when I’m not here so that's another reason that protects me besides Guardian. I would recommend them.

Guardian Protection Services is a great company. I purchased the house in '95, and that was the only protection service around at the time. They came out and sold me their system, and I've had it ever since. I have all the doors and windows covered, and got fire alarms as well. I've never had a problem. Having the signs out front scares everybody away. I have a massive home surveillance system with 16 cameras all over the property. I have an awful lot of people at the house because I'm a reptile breeder, and whenever the people come in, they can see all the screens lined up with a view of every inch of the two acres. It would actually be hopeless for somebody to try to do anything, and then I got the Guardian on top of it.
The Guardian team is extremely professional. They're all from the United States, which is always nice as I can understand them. They're also really fast and always do a great job. I was always happy with everything that they ever did. And then sometimes when I call them, they get somebody out here the same day, and it's unbelievable. The experience is just excellent all around.

Guardian Protection is very fast to remind me if I forgot to write them or if I've got to cover a bill, which is very correct for them to do so. I'll be 85, and it happens sometimes. I have the device on as a bracelet. I chose that because I cannot wear anything too long on my neck. Now, my bracelet is loose and it turns around my pulse sometimes and hits the button. I want a new bracelet because the rubber on the bracelet is stretching, so it gets bigger, as I have to put in my hand a lot. It also takes long until they answer the phone. First, they cut off the line, make a noise, and by the time I hear them, it's been at least two or three minutes. And when in a difficult time, every second or every minute counts. But aside from those, Guardian Protection is very effective and I'm very happy.

Guardian Protection was referred to us by a moving concierge that our real estate agent put us in touch with. And so, we got the 24/7 home security package which included windows and doors. Their sales team was very friendly and courteous but they were less than forthright. Everything that came with the house was already wired for ADT. They said that they would be able to reuse everything. It was awesome because we didn't have to buy anything else. Unfortunately, the keypads were the two items that they couldn't use and those were the most expensive items around. They replaced one keypad but then said we were going to have to buy the second one and they comped low-end keypad, which was like a $50 value. That ticked me off a little bit because it wasn't what we were told.
Also, we had video surveillance that came with the house that the previous owners tied to ADT. They said that it doesn't tie into their system. Similarly, the previous owner had the Nest heating system and that didn't tie in either. Moreover, after they left, I noticed that when we opened a couple of windows, the alarm sensors were broken in one of them. Something happened during installation and they got broken. We've called twice to tell Guardian what's going on and we haven't heard from them. Despite informing them, we get emails from them every night telling us that our system is not armed. They tell us that but they don't call back to fix any of the problems. They are nice people but that doesn't help any.

Guardian Protection Services' sales reps were very willing to show me how the system works and the options that they have. The guy that did the installation knew what he was doing. He came in and ended up swapping out everything that needed to get swapped out so it was seamless. I'm paying the same amount as I was before except that my equipment's updated and they have significantly better coverage.

One of the places I dealt with before always had good service with Guardian so I decided to get the system myself back in 2003. I had lived in another house but had my account transferred to a different one and the new alarm system put in this one right now. Both of the times the technicians were here, I had no problem. They were great people. Anytime I call Guardian, if I had a problem, they're very good with me. And I had a bit of financial problem and they worked it out with me, which I was very appreciative of. They're wonderful. I’ve always had good experiences with them since 2003.

Guardian Protection's service is wonderful. I’m 76 and my husband’s 77, and we've had them for about 20 years. They put in a new box 6 months ago because something was wrong with the old one. It’s at the bottom of our steps that go upstairs. However, the new box doesn’t beep long enough. Sometimes when we come in the door and are carrying packages, we don’t even hear it. With the old one, we could hear it when we open the door. Other than that, I’m very pleased with Guardian. They’re very efficient. Last year when we weren't home and the wind blew something that hit against the window, they sent help right away and the police walked all around my house.

All Guardian Protection Services are interested in is money. They do NOT care about their customers. They have their field agents that con customers into signing with them. Then they do not follow up and even complete the transaction. After about a year I called Guardian Protection Services to upgrade my system and they don't even have complete records of what equipment is in my house. Be aware. Stay as far away from Guardian Protection Services as possible.

Guardian is a known name in the security industry so I contacted them and ADT and decided to go with Guardian. My neighbor took the lead on it because he wanted a security system, too, and he set everything up and negotiated the deal. Guardian's people came to install our equipment and the first people I saw to set it up were very nice and good.

My daughter has Guardian and I knew of the company from her. I’ve had their service for a long time now and I have all their security features such as the home security and the fire feature. I had their rep come to the house a couple of times to transfer some of the stuff on the windows, though. Their technician was good too. So far, my experience with Guardian has been fine.

At one time, there weren't too many home security providers in the area so I went with Guardian. But I don't know how long I'm gonna stay with them. They always send me things for an upgrade, but when I call them about it, they say that they'll hook the system up to a smartphone. But some people don't have and don't want a smartphone. Everything is getting more highly technical with them but I don't believe in constantly upgrading. That's money going down the drain.

We've got the panel, some window sensors and a couple of thermostats included in our Guardian Protection Services service package. Their sales rep was very nice when he was here. He explained everything very well. But after that, when I needed to ask him a couple of questions, I was unable to reach him. He responded once or twice and then after I had more questions for him, I got no response, text back, phone call back, no nothing so I'm disappointed in that aspect. But when I call their number, everybody else has been very nice.

We purchased Guardian's security and home automation system for security and convenience. Interactions with their salesperson were positive and he was available anytime I called. He also got back to me quickly when I had any questions or issues. The installers came in a timely manner too and most of the installation went okay. But so far, I’m not sold yet. We have a couple of pieces that aren’t working but they’re working to fix them. Everything else is functioning, though.

I was in a bigger city than what I’m used to and wanted to make sure that our home was protected, but didn’t need anything too fancy. We got the 24-hour monitoring service from Guardian Protection Services and Mike who was our rep has been really awesome. He’s made himself extremely available for whenever we’ve needed him through text message, phone call, every way. He’s also given me his email, and he’s responded even during not normal business hours, so that’s been great, too. The individuals who did the install were really great as well. I didn’t feel rushed, even though it was later in the afternoon and they were probably supposed to be off work by then. They answered all my questions and made sure that I was very aware of how everything worked.

I'm not very satisfied with Guardian Protection Services because we purchased home security and surround sound for the whole house, which they hooked up at the end of January and it still doesn't work properly. One of the sensors isn't communicating properly with the security system and the technician also has been unable to connect our garage door opener to the security system. This is their third trip back to work on it and in the meantime, I keep getting calls telling me that my one week has expired but we still haven't been able to use the service and I hope we're not being billed for it. But the technician was very friendly and seemed very knowledgeable. I'm sure it's an issue they'll get worked out.

I have Guardian which I first heard from my uncle who had it, too. I was having some issues with the neighbor then. I had just become widowed and was extremely scared living by myself and their sales rep was perfect with me during our interactions. One time, I was on a trip. I had just gotten a kitten and I had the door locked and it had a little toy hanging from the door and the kitten must have hit it because the alarm went off. So I was called and I said “Oh, no.” and that I knew what that was. They said they were the state police because Guardian calls right away as soon as something hits. They've been great all in all.

I have Guardian Protection's monitoring service and I knew about them through Skyline. The installation went fine and the gentleman was great. However, they have not been monitoring properly. I have triggered my alarm three times and I've not gotten a call. No one has responded and nothing happened. When an alarm goes off, someone is supposed to call and check to see if everything's okay or if the alarm had been accidentally set off. It's been a week since the last time the alarm went off. It's not working.

My cousin had Guardian and he referred me to them. I got one camera, the doorbell with the camera, the garage lift master and the thermostat. I wanted the outside camera that's in the driveway to record while I'm at work. I'm a peace officer for the state of California, so I'm gone eight or nine hours a day for work. No one's home so, I really wanted it to record during the time. But apparently, you can't record that much time throughout the whole month on that camera. They told me there's a certain amount of megabytes that I can record, which is only for two days. I was very bummed out about that because that was the main reason why I got it and I wasn't told upfront.
My neighbor got an alarm system for about four months and he gave me the card. He got four cameras with a DVR system and his records for two weeks and then it starts recording again. It goes back to the last recording and records over that, which is pretty cool cause two weeks is enough time. But I ended up going with Guardian because of my cousin and I didn't know that they don't have that option. I wish they told me that before. I didn't find that out until after they installed it when the technicians explained to me how to use it. I would've actually gone somewhere else had I known. Especially when I explained that's why I want it for.
They also kept coming to my house every week or even less. I'm out of work right now because I'm on a work injury and I would be going back in April. So, I kept telling the lady I'm gonna get them and sign up but I really wanted to wait til I got back to work because I'm home all day right now so there's no purpose in having an alarm. Then she offered me my first month free and I won't pay until April. They were very pushy and I figured it's the same thing so I went ahead but they never wrote that on the contract. Then, the technician that installed everything told me I could set it up on a schedule and record motion for 45 seconds. But my street is the busiest street in our subdivision so he said that since it's that busy that if I'm lucky, it'll get two days of recording because it'll record every car that passes by. But I get at least 100 cars a day passing by my house. I was really bummed out about that.
The doorbell's pretty cool cause it picks up motion within 15 feet of the doorbell. So, the cars that pass by doesn't get detected but if someone walks to my front door, it's gonna record them. But usually, home burglars who rob your house during the day are not gonna go through your front door. They're gonna go through the back so, it still doesn't help me out. It sucks but it is what it is and I'm not gonna stay here and whine. I already have it and I already set it up, so right now, I'm stuck for three years which is a lot. If I had known to do my homework, I would've gone with this company my neighbor went with. I would recommend Guardian to someone but I would explain that if they don't care to record, it'll work for them. The service is awesome and they are very well known down here in The Valley.

We had Guardian at our other house and we availed of their alarm system in our current residence. The serviceman came over to our old house, took down the old stuff, and came over here to the new house and installed the system. He was extremely nice, very accommodating, and easy to work with. Everything went fine. We also have the necklace with the button on it for my husband as he has Parkinson’s.

I have Guardian Protection's alarm system and the medical alert for my mother to have around her neck. I wanted her to have it because she’s 92 and here alone often. Their services have been very good so far. And, their installer was great. He came in and did what he was supposed to do and we had a good time. Everything went fine.

One of the kids that used to live in our neighborhood was selling Guardian and we purchased it from him. The installers were really good about showing us everything and making sure that we walked through the system and that we knew how to properly work it before they left. So they did it first and then they had us do it. Then they also helped us set it up on our phones so it was really good.
If we had a chance to purchase it all over again, we would still use Guardian. They gave us the best possible deal for all the cool gadgets that we got in the house. We're happy and we use those a lot. We like the indoor camera, the doorbell's really cool and we can do everything through our phone. It's extremely easy. When people came over to the house, they were like "Oh my gosh. When did you get that?" I told them and the two people I recommended it to have an apartment where they can't install the system on there but they said that whenever they'd get a home, they would really like to have Guardian.

The whole beginning process was really misleading. A Guardian representative came to my home and he presented that he was from above my current company and that he was gonna give me an upgrade and a lower price, which I agreed to. He had a little iPad with him and he started giving me information about my system. He said, “The company you currently have is under the security company and we would help you directly. That’s how you would save. And I see that you have this type of equipment in your home,” like he already had the information there. I wanted to lower my price, which is why I went with it because I got a lower price on the services and they gave me some new equipment.
It was not until after the system was installed that I realized he was not from above the current company that I had. He was from a total different company, so I was upset about that. I went to go clear things up and found that I was still under a contract obligation and that that was a separate company. Now there’s an early termination fee, which Guardian has agreed to pay and that’s the only reason why I’ve stayed with them.

Guardian Protection Services was putting their products in everybody's house when we built the house here. Their reps were very good and I had no problem with them. Everytime I make a mistake and walk in the basement they ring the bell and then ask me for my code. They were good and I have been satisfied.

I got Guardian Protection Services' alarm system, but I haven't had to use it yet. A friend told me about them and my experience with Guardian has been good. However, their techs seem a little bit sketchy and they don't really keep their dates and times on appointments. They didn't show up originally and then they called me and showed up three hours later after they were supposed to be there. They also showed up in shorts, which is a little weird since it gets cold out in the winter here in northern United States. At any rate, they gave me a free month and it's been a wonderful service.

We bought a new home and Guardian was already installed there, then we were referred to the company that does the monitoring. The service package included the fire protect features, panic buttons and contacts. We're fine with what we have. The sales representatives were all very pleasant. The system is nice and the people are very nice, but it's a lot more money than I'm accustomed to spending for monitoring.

My husband died and I was alone. I went with Guardian Protection Services and I’m very satisfied with them. Last weekend, my daughter was home and I had the alarm on instant and she thought it was on ‘Stay’. She was walking through the house and couldn’t turn off the alarm. They called us immediately. And as soon as she got off that phone, they were there. So that’s how fast that was. I also have recently gotten my thing for around my neck in case I fall and I like that. They also handled and explained that to me.

I've been looking into protection services for a while and I decided to go ahead and get it from Guardian. Our service package includes the alarm and the door lock. I have Guardian's security package that includes the keypad, door sensors, motion sensor and monitor. The installer, Neal, was great. A few weeks ago, there were some break-ins occurring and we never had the security system activated or monitored through Guardian so we decided we were going to do it. So I called them and we discussed a few options. I spoke with an Emily and she was very helpful and got me interested in a different upgraded panel and said if I signed for five years, I'd lock in a price and I'll get it installed for free so I did that. Now I have two keypads, the motion sensor and we had a door lock added.
On the other hand, they gave me the keyless entry lock on the door at a reduced rate and since I wanted to buy another one at a reduced rate too, I called Emily and she put me in touch with somebody and said they were going to call me back. I understood that Guardian installed the system and my leverage isn't as great as it was before. I pointed out that I have two panels that I owned, that I no longer have possession of and that I could have thrown on eBay. I even paid double what I paid the last time and I haven't heard back, but the person I talked to might be working on it. But other than that, I've been extremely happy. The system's pretty cool and flexible and I told a friend or two that they should look into it too, with what's going on and the options Guardian has.

Our house was robbed 20 years ago but we lived in a very nice neighborhood and never thought anything like that would ever happen to us. Two days later and after I had my husband put up spotlights and motion detector lights outside, I told him to get on the phone and call Guardian because I didn't feel safe. So we signed up with Guardian and I have no complaints so far. When you call them, they're right here. And if you accidentally set the alarm off, which I've done a few times, they're very understanding about it. I had all good experiences with Guardian.

A gentleman from Guardian Protection Services came to our house and he was really nice. My service package includes the doorbell and the keypad door lock. Everything’s been okay but I had a couple of issues with the billing because when they took out my first payment of $160, they ran my card five times. They said that the card showed "declined" on their end. The Guardian gentleman never told me that I had to get in contact with my previous company so on the day they ran the payment, my previous company ran a payment as well. It's been a hassle. I had just deposited my check that week but I had to borrow money to cover my mortgage and everything else that was being taken out. Guardian has put back the other 4 charges but it was a lot of back and forth and took about eight days.
My previous company told me that they were gonna send me a final bill and then Guardian said that once I get the final bill, I can send it to Guardian along with my bank statement to where the previous company charged me. The previous company charged me the same day and then Guardian would reimburse me for that transaction. Hopefully, it'll work out.

Salesman was great, install good, service also good, BUT, and a HUGE "BUT", we were forced to sell our home in AZ due to job loss. Guardian Protection Services didn't care that we had to sell and move. We were under a contract for three years and they are forcing us to pay the remaining 18 months of the contract without any service! The woman who bought our home didn't connect the service, the equipment is still in the home and she has put it up for sale, again! GPS is unforgiving, and for this reason alone, I would not recommend their service. They have told us they will file for collections if we do not pay out the contract. Not a nice company and certainly a bad business practice.
In Oct. '16, our (autopay to GPS) C/C was compromised. I was told I'd have to pay by mail, now, as the autopay w/ no service couldn't be re-activated with the new card. Except, after I gave them the new card in October (over the phone), they managed to auto charge my C/C for Nov, Dec, and Jan of '17. Now, all of a sudden, they can't do the auto charge and sent me a nasty email and today, when I was supposed to get a paper bill to pay (after talking with them on the phone), I get another nasty letter in the mail. Not a bill. I am very frustrated with their "customer service" and their business practices. Again, I would recommend any other company for an alarm service.

When I called up the sales representative from Guardian, I asked if he worked on Saturdays and he said he’d be happy to come out. He spent some time telling me all about the system, how much it would cost and that there was no installation fee. I didn’t have to buy any of the equipment too. He said an installer should come out on Monday around 9:00 o’clock and one did. The installer was so clean with everything. You couldn’t even tell he’d been in my house when he left.
He also showed me how to work the system and I did really well except on a Sunday when I had a little booboo. I left my house on Sunday but I happened to think of something that I needed in the house. I went round the block, went in the house and I forgot to bring something that I had on my keychain with me and the alarm started going off. I didn’t know what to do without that and I went back out to get it. What I should have done, though, was go in and just punch in my code then arm or disarm it like it should have been. At that time, though, a rep wanted to know if I was okay and if I wanted help. She asked if she could call anybody for me, if there was anything she could do for me and if I was sure I was okay. I told her I was fine. She asked my name and my password.
Another thing was when I had my only cell phone in the car, Guardian sent me a text that my garage door was open and they wanted to know if everything was okay. They’re really good and they follow through on everything. My experience with them has been great and I wish I had done it sooner. My husband passed away a year ago and I had not been able to sleep well because I live out in the country. I have no neighbors so Guardian has been great to have.

We have the basic coverage with fire and entry alarm with Guardian Protection Services. They have a really pretty alarm display that has background pictures of lakes and flowers. They have an alarm setting that says, ‘Arm’, ‘Disarm’ and it’ll go to the picture. And the pictures vary, too. It’s really neat.

My wife and I are quite satisfied with our service package from Guardian Protection Services. They have more features than what my wife already had so she kept up with the new technology and got them. The team at Guardian was very helpful and took the time to explain the things that we didn’t know. We knew a lot of it, but they made sure that we knew the newer things that we didn’t have. The installer was also great. He was very courteous and explained it to us step-by-step. He also helped us set up our security code on the phone. I've no problems at all with Guardian. My experience with them was very satisfactory and they even called to check if everything’s okay for me. My mom has been using the Guardian Protection Services for probably 20 years and their installers did a good work. I take care of apartment buildings and we have them for all the fire alarm systems. They have a box which is their control unit in the basement. They’ll call us and say, “You have a low battery,” but we don’t have a key to open the unit to put in a battery. We have to call them and then we get a service charge for them to change the battery. I'm not happy with that. But other than that, I'd recommend them.

Guardian called me on the phone and told me that I'd won a security system with free installation. I'd registered for a John Deere riding mower at Lakeshore Mall in Gainesville and this was the second prize. The salesman was very friendly, courteous and he took the time to explain all the features of the alarm system. He talked about the fire alarm that would sense an electrical fire before there was any smoke inside the walls. It was extra protection. Also, I have an outdoor building and they put the extra sensor on it so I know when somebody tries to get in my building. I've got all my shop tools out there.
The installation went well. The guy explained what he was doing and showed us the best place to put the control panel which is as close to the entrance door where we come in and out. It's easy to arm and disarm and get out of the house before the alarm and the motion sensor sets off. I set the alarm off one Saturday, I came in and didn't disarm the system. I had some tools in the back of my pickup truck and I opened the shed up to put my tools up. Then I got a call and I didn't recognize the caller, so I didn't answer. Then I come in and I realized what I'd done and I'm very satisfied with it.

Guardian's security system was provided with our home when I bought it. The service was good and their guys were excellent. They called me when the alarm went off and they were able to walk me through the instructions if I needed some help with anything. Guardian is great.

I told the salesman that I wanted one of those remote things like when you push a button you can set the alarm without going to the keypad. I didn’t get that but I had it sent out a couple of weeks later. Then I called the gentleman and he helped me out to set it up to show what worked and we got it set up with the keypad. That was done fine but I had the system in for two weeks and didn’t use it until we got that done.
So I finally started to use it then I knew what it wasn’t doing. That night that I was experimenting, I was trying out the remote and I set off the alarm. Then their rep called me and that’s when we started talking. She said they're gonna set me up to have a guy come out. However she could not give me the date. So she said, “I’ll have one of the service men call you so they can come out and do it." That was about four days ago and I haven’t heard back from them yet.
I signed the contract and I’m not satisfied with it. So I have to deal with it for the next three years then I’m gonna cancel the service. I've had Vector and Citadel and they were better than Guardian. I’m not happy with the system at all. One sensor is behind the door which we hardly ever saw and it's not gonna pick up anything. The way my house is it’s kinda weird, but there’s one motion sensor that’s not in the right area because if we get up during the night time, we want to come out to the kitchen and get a glass of water, we can’t do it. And I told them that I wanted to be able to walk up stairs without setting the other one off.

Guardian Protection Services has been great. Originally, we were with another company, but we had problems with it and the service tech suggested for us to upgrade. So Guardian replaced the old system with the new one. The installation team came in and put the new breakage and updated the box down in the basement. The same service tech usually comes out, and he’s really great. He’s answered all my problems and taken care of me for all these 28 years that I've been with them very well.

We've had Guardian for a long time and it's been great. When the batteries are going in or have gone dead, the reps are able to know so they call me. They've always been very nice. Alarm was already installed in new home. Called for quote, sales rep told us NO INSTALLATION FEES! SPECIAL 7 window contacts $99, free FOB for mother-in-law. We chose the most expensive package and was told it didn't matter where we put cameras. Charged $699 for outside camera, $80 per contact, $75 for FOB. No one I've talked to CAN make decisions!

Guardian's service was offered to us through our neighborhood's builder and the sales rep explained the system very well. At first we weren't interested so we went away. Then we thought about what he said because he made it compelling, so we came back and signed up for it. The installers also did a very good job. We have the service in such a short time in a home that we're actually not in right now so hopefully it's protecting our home. But we have someone checking on our house too just for other things and we showed them how to use the system. Once you understand it, it's pretty easy to explain to somebody else. So we've been in good shape and we're very satisfied with Guardian.

The sales person from Guardian, Westbrook, was really excellent. He gave us options and he understood what's really needed. He recommended and convinced me to have the fire alarms, the security system, and the TV setup, which are the most cost-efficient features workable for us because some of the options are really costly. Even after the settlement and after everything had been set up, I had a couple of questions regarding the TV console setup and the connections. He was really responsive and was able to address all my queries. In addition, the installer was very efficient and productive. He finished everything in three hours then he coached us on the system. Also, their app is very convenient to use. I access the system from work through my mobile and I usually arm it when we are out.

I had Guardian once before and my daughter just got it in her home. We got the basic package now and we're happy with them. Their guy came in and did a great job on the installation. But I had to call their customer service to ask for two extra signs as they only had one when they came. I didn't get them so I called back. They said they didn't know where to send them so I haven't received them yet. We had another service in here so the salesman came in and he was good and did what we wanted. They were very professional and our experience was very painless. We feel good about it and the system works well.

Everybody at Guardian is very nice and courteous. They explained everything really well and everything was perfect. But I'm not used to the service itself and I'm having a little difficulty with my unit, since I’m an elderly person and not really electronically savvy. It's really hard. But I thought it would be a good thing to update it and get the wireless unit. It would be safer than having people out to cut the wires if they wanted to get in my house. I tried to set up the system one time but I got the wrong thing where it was going off every few minutes, so I haven’t touched it since then. But somebody’s coming out on the 22nd to go over the system again and get that all straightened out. As soon as I learn to use it, I will be very satisfied. Although, I was told that I'll be given a $50 gift card but I haven’t gotten that yet.

Guardian sold me their standard alarm system but it doesn't have the correct coverage that includes both when I'm at home and away from home. It's pretty good for when I'm away but I have a two-story house so just one glass break and a few sensors for a whole bunch of windows and doors don't make sense. When somebody opens a window, if they break the glass and if there's motion when there's not supposed to be motion, I want it to go off. So I got several glass breaks, window and door sensors, a smoke detector, a module that hooks up to my system, door locks with keypads and multiple motion sensors. We negotiated the price and the installation went fine. I didn't have any issues with the sales rep and the technician. It was pretty positive and I'm satisfied.

My wife and I moved into our house 3.5 years ago. Soon after we moved in, a Guardian representative showed up to our house and presented a contract that appeared to be reasonable. Little did we know that we were signing up for something that locked us into a contract for 5 years or pay 100% of the contract if we terminate. This company offers no flexibility with your contract and your system becomes outdated after 3 years. I will not use their services or make any recommendations for this company.
I’m sorry to hear you’ve been experiencing issues. Because customer satisfaction is our top priority, we take your feedback very seriously. Your contract specifies that if you try to cancel your services at any time other than 30 days prior to the end of your contract term, you will have to pay a termination fee or continue paying for your services until the end of your term.
Each customer has three days after signing the initial contract to consider it, ask any questions and cancel it with no obligation. After the three-day period, Guardian expends resources to fulfill its obligations and to provide all promised services. Carlos, the Guardian rep, was absolutely fantastic. He noticed that my parents' security system was fairly old and no one had been out from Vivint to check anything out so he offered some services. It was perfect timing because my parents wanted me to have an alarm system put on so we got two packages off of him. And when we had questions, he was more than willing to answer them. He also went through everything with us including how to use it and what to do. He had an awesome personality and he was the total package.
Installation went really well and fast. The installer had everything ready to go on his end but when he had to call in the company to do a test or a run, that's where he got held up the most. He started my parents' service at 1:30 installing their security system, didn’t get to my house until 5 o’clock and was held up until 8 o’clock at night. It was really unfair to him and that was the only problem that we had. But the system is a great safety feature and I know how to use it from my parents'. It's really easy to navigate and the best thing about it is that I live alone, so when it's on, I know I'm safe and that no one’s coming in.

Guardian's sales rep explained the system to us, showed us different features on his phone or iPad and just talked over everything like the cost, how long it’s been in business, things like that. However, when the alarm is not set and I open the doors, it rings like a doorbell. But so far, I’m satisfied with Guardian's services.

There had been break-ins through up and down the shoreline of the lake we're on so we got Guardian's services. We have the basic door detection and one camera type device that was placed inside the cabin to detect motion. But a couple of the doors on the cabin and the garage door were fitted with the device as needed. My interaction with Guardian was brief and to-the-point but the installation team which was Skyline drove me crazy. I was really frustrated with their organization but my satisfaction with the services of Guardian is fine.

We had Clear Channel before. Our package from Guardian included the the burglar alarm and the smoke alarm. The people that came were good. They left the same panel and everything in it and did some update. My monthly bill had gone up though, because I have to pay sales tax on it. It shouldn't have because they said my bill would be the same.

We're new homeowners and we have Guardian's services that started this week. We have a basic package compared to what I would usually get with a different company. It's more cost effective. The sales rep was very friendly and answered all the questions that I had. The installer gave a demo for the alarm and the ring because he added the bell camera with it. I was able to use the alarm app, but not quite with the ring app. I've got to figure some things and I may have to call the actual ring company.

We were with Vivint before but they’re from Utah and we’ve never heard from them since we got their security system. I was going to cancel it and the gentleman from Guardian showed up and so far, we have been excellently satisfied with Guardian's services. The sales rep was very personable, showed us everything and explained it in layman's terms. If we had any questions, he made sure we understand how to use it. He took his time and we were his main priority. We have the fire alarm system and we got another package on my daughter's house, too. I talked to someone from Guardian Protection back in September and I told him to come in and put me in one. The services included in my package are the police station and the windows and doors. Interactions with their customer service and installation have all been good. But there's something wrong with the system. It's not working right. However, a lot of it was my fault, not understanding how to operate it. But they're gonna come back and lead me through it again. And they'll be putting another sensor on my building and a speaker outside.

When I first moved in to my new home, I'm supposed to have Guardian but the lady told me that they can't come out for a week. I told her that I can't have my home unprotected for a whole week. And so I called my sister. She told me to go to ADT. ADT came out but then an item was missing from my home while the techs were there and they couldn’t tell me what happened to my footage on my cameras, so I fired them and I came to Guardian. I got a package with window breakers and four cameras from them. I like their app better than the ADT one. The only thing I don't like is their camera, it has lower quality and it sucks. I will be interested in upgrading if they invest in some cameras. Everything else is all I wanted. I love the keypad and the remote for my phone and I can use my phone to open my garage. The service is also superb. I told my sister about them and I'll see if she can leave ADT.

I was building my home Guardian Protection uses legal protection service for residential community. And I looked them up online and I felt it's good and took the Guardian Service's professional monitoring. Their sales rep was very cooperative. He explained to me all the different packages. Installation was very good too. There's a lot of questions and the installer almost spent more than one and a half hour and he explained to me all those things and how to handle it. However, they forgot to put the smoke detector. And the installers said they would come back and do that later. I'm waiting on it and it's been more than a week. I haven't heard anything but I hope they did not forget about it.

Guardian Protection Services' technology is a little bit newer and I've been using it for almost a year now. I sold security systems so I knew everything about it. The features of my system are all nice and I like them. Every single time I had anything go off, I’ve been called and made sure if it was a false alarm or not, so it’s been great. My glass break sensor went off the other day, which was nice to let me know that it works. Also, their app is cool and user-friendly. It’s been a good experience overall.

This is my first time using Guardian's services. We have a motion and some window sensors, front door, patio door and the garage door systems installed. The sales and installation team were good. They have an app wherein when I log in, I can see where it goes to alarm and disarm the system, and the one on the very top is the panic button.

Guardian Protection was something that came with our house when we bought it. It was installed last week and we're having an issue right now. My builder was unclear about what kind of deal they had going on with Guardian. I guess when you buy a rental home, you get Guardian installed in the home and then you can pay for it or not pay for it. But I don't know what the deal is and they didn't really explain it very clearly. A saleslady came out and talked with my wife and basically we didn’t want the service, but somehow we ended up getting service. We're trying to get that gone right now.

It came along at the time of the construction itself so I only had to activate it. This is the first time that I'm using a security system and so far, it's good. I got an email from my Landmark Home Warranty and they were paying for so much of the security system so I called them and they transferred me to the sales representative for Guardian Protection Services. I wanted to know how the house needed to be protected and the other options Guardian provided. Their representative was pretty good and I selected them because it didn't cost me anything upfront. There were a few times that Guardian called me but for whatever reason, it went straight to voicemail the second the call hit, where it was going to be hard to contact them.
The only complaint I had was the technician always tended to come before the scheduled time so I wasn't there. If he said he was getting there at 12:00 noon, he came at 9:00. There were a couple of misses on the scheduled day when they came to do the installation. But the installer was very knowledgeable and very helpful. When he had a few issues doing the doorbell camera and getting it to work with the application on my phone, he contacted his supervisor on the phone and they got it resolved before he had it fully installed. However, he left the boxes that the thermostat and door lock came in on the floor next to the area where he installed them. Other than those, my experience has been relatively smooth and there haven't been too many headaches with it. I like my system so far and it works great. It would work better if I had better internet, though.

We're having problems with the front door sensor. It keeps giving us a low-battery warning. We’ve silenced it because it was going off every few minutes. They were supposed to replace it on Monday but we’ve called the people and they said they’ll send a guy out next Monday. It was kind of ridiculous that we have to go through this until next Monday for them to come out and take one screw out, and put a new sensor in and the screw back in. I'm not happy with Guardian so far.

Guardian was part of the package when my house was built. I initially met with a rep at the show house. We went through all the options and she explained things very well. But my experience with them is an ongoing process. Some of the installation by the builder was haphazard. They didn't follow up on a lot of the things that were supposed to be installed, like the doorbell, the switches, and the lighting that's supposed to be controlled through Guardian. We had the service started up about two weeks ago and they should have had all that stuff done when I closed on the house a month ago. I've been talking with the contractor and he's waiting for some other things that they're gonna install all at once. So I'm still waiting for those to be installed.
When the installer showed up, he explained how the app and the panel worked, what he was doing, what was missing and what was needed. It was hard to tell that the Z-Wave outlets and switches weren't there 'cause they're supposed to look like the other ones and it wasn't until he told me about it that I realized they weren’t installed. He pointed out a lot of the missing parts, so he was very helpful. Also, Guardian's app is very efficient and useful. It controls what little I have in my house.

A friend of mine recommended Guardian Protection Services. They called me and I agreed to have the system put in. The installers didn't take up too long. We had Guardian installed last week and the technician did a good job. We like everything included in our service package. I also have the app and I like it too. However, we put the main control panel towards the garage backdoor and we can’t really hear it when we’re in our back bedroom. We probably should put it someplace more centrally located. Guardian's sales rep came in and I was very impressed with the very good presentation he gave. He told me what they offer and how Guardian’s different from the other competitors out there. I was pretty sold on them but I wasn’t gonna make a decision on the day and I told the sales rep I had ADT come in and all I wanted to do was see what they offered and the sales rep was very understanding. But ADT was very pushy and wanted to install there and then. Their sales rep was also always going outside trying to get on the phone with his boss whereas the Guardian rep never really went outside. He was very laid back and said, “Hey, you know what? You got to get the right deal for you.” And that’s what I really liked about that.
We called Guardian back because the rep made us feel comfortable and happy with the package that we were getting. Also, their installer gave me a call about a half hour before he got here. He came in and explained what he was going to do and asked me where we wanted to put the box on the wall. He didn’t do anything without asking first. And then the sales representative also showed up just to make sure that everything was going okay. My in-laws have had Guardian for about 16 years and I gave them the rep's card because they’re gonna upgrade their systems to the modern systems that Guardian got these days.

I researched the best security systems in Kansas City online and the local company came up. I picked three different companies and chose the salesman I trust the most, which was the rep at Guardian. The salesman made me feel better about the process and the ability to have the digital keypad and cameras. And they have a higher price than another provider but I still went with them. However, there was call out failure three weeks later. But they came back out and fixed it. It looks like I'm good to go. I'd recommend Guardian.

The gentleman from Guardian who I spoke with on the phone was very professional and answered all my questions. I'm pretty satisfied with the installation. They came out within a couple of days and did exactly what I requested. Guardian's service has been great and it's serving its purpose. It's been an easy and straightforward experience with Guardian.

When I bought my pokey home, Guardian was part of its design. So far, I've had an excellent experience using it and the idea of the phone control is awesome. My dealings with the installation team also went well.

I've had Guardian for about a week now. The installers arrived a little late but they still showed up the same day and got it all taken care of. They showed me how to use the system, so everything went well. A lot of the hardware that they provided worked great and I like the overall support. In addition, their app works great, too.

Our builders used Guardian for our house. I moved in December 28th, and I just literally got the installation done late last week. The installers came out but they did not have all the equipment to finish it. They were supposed to come back out but they never came back out, which at that time I had to call and schedule another appointment for them to finish the installation.
There are some things that I wish I have gone through with the sales rep a little bit better or had a little bit better explanation about the LAN cables that are running and how they deal with the router and my choices to put the router places. I had alarm music in the house and all the LAN cables ran throughout the house for the TV's. When the installers showed up to activate the alarm, they didn't have anything with the music, which was baffling. Also the installation team was the one that dropped the ball on the appointments. I have been communicating with the sales person to ask what's going on and I did voice my displeasure that I was having to follow up with Guardian.

I got a call from a representative who started telling me about Guardian Protection Services' product. The gentleman that I spoke with was Brian, and I told him that I was already with a company by the name of Safe Home Security, but I've been wanting to change because if a few incidents I've had with them. Brian laid out what the Guardian system was about and we set up an appointment.
The young lady who came out to install the system really walked me through and covered everything really well. She showed me stuff on the panel itself, which was cool, and she explained the shatter feature where if a window breaks, it would set off the alarm. However, I didn't know that it was as sensitive as it is. But at least that lets me know that it works. But other than that, I felt really comfortable and the installer knew what she was talking about.
I love the system itself and I like the service. Apart from the sensitivity of shatter feature, the system is fine. The staff at Guardian are professional in what they do and it gives a person a lot of comfort as far as knowing that your stuff is going to be protected, especially in these days and times. They are there protecting your home while you're not there. I feel confident with it and I would definitely recommend Guardian Protection Services.

My mother got Guardian Protection Services installed in the home before she moved in a nursing home and it included one of the protection deal necklaces. I switched the service and it's now put it in my name. A man came out to redo the program and he was courteous and professional. I'm completely satisfied with the service so far.

The local man who sold Guardian to us was great. He’s an elderly man and he explained everything during the sale. He was with attention and really good. One guy came here to do the install. He did everything very quickly and explained how to use everything. I would recommend Guardian.

Guardian was recommended to us through the company that I was using to build my home and my interactions with the Guardian sales rep were great. Initially, I had an appointment really early on into the construction phase and they went over every point that I needed about my package and installation. Pretty much everything was satisfactory. The tech who came out to install everything was very efficient and professional. There was only one issue wherein they told me they had a sensor that a personal pet wouldn't trigger the alarm and that turned out not true so I'm speaking with Guardian to try and get that resolved. Nevertheless, I would definitely recommend Guardian.

The salesman came out, presented what he did and the product, and I never really felt pressured. So I was quite impressed by him. The installation crew did an excellent job, considering that one of them was probably freezing as he was trying to do our door lock. They were very kind, courteous and conscious about how cold it was. And the demo was done very well. I like the way that the system was updated and that it didn’t need a committed landline to operate, which was a very big selling point for my wife.

I have Guardian Protection Services' 24/7 monitoring because I have two children that are sometimes home. Their sales rep was very helpful and very knowledgeable, and their installation guy was very polite and very quick. The installation didn’t take as long as I expected it to. He was only there for probably an hour. I'm very satisfied with Guardian's service so far.

The reps that I spoke with were really helpful. The installer did everything really fast and explained the process to me. He taught me to download the app and walked me through the process of registering. So far, I like Guardian and will recommend it.

We have been thinking about getting a security system for a while. Guardian came to our door and we decided to go ahead with it. The rep seemed knowledgeable, presented the system to us and told us how we could adjust them out and about having protection for the doors and windows of the house. We were also told that the garage door would be hooked up to the same system and if it's open, we'd get a warning and alarm. So when we got the system, we were under the impression that we were going to have security for the garage too but then when the installer came he said that that's not possible. It's too far away.
So we just have the doors, windows, and motion sensors in the house. The salesman should have told us it's not going to work to begin with and it's kind of made me a little bit upset. But we were happy with getting anything. The gentleman who came to install the system was informative of everything and showed us how to use it. The only problem we had was he had put on the wrong routing number so my wife called and got that all straightened out with Guardian which was not a big deal. Now we're fine with it and it seemed to be working okay.

Everything went smooth with the installation. However, the guy that was here to put the device in told me that they were going to come back and do some additional work and they never came back. So I called them today and they're supposed to be setting up an appointment to come by. But other than that, everything else has been fine. I didn’t have a problem contacting them. The house that we got was pretty big and we wanted everything to be secured, and in case my son and daughter ever wanted to go to the house while we're not there, they could have their own code for the door to get in. The service that Guardian Protection has provided so far has been excellent. Their sales reps were real knowledgeable and everything with the installation team was outstanding. They were on time, showed us how to use the product and cleaned up after themselves. I got it in two houses. I got one for the house that we're living in and then another for our house that my son is living in.

My old alarm company sucked and it was time for a change. So I got Guardian's monitoring, the alarm that comes online and 26 sensors. The company itself is good. However, I had to ask my installer if I was still in service because I had some issues where my one panel is coming offline and they quit calling me. But the installation team and I had good interaction when they came to my home. The service has been good even though I haven't had any emergencies. It's been a great experience.

We have the basic setup with Guardian right now. They're going to come and install cameras once we get cable. We already had pre-existing cameras set up here, so we just decided to go and took them on. The sales rep was easy to contact and very informative. The guys that did the installation did a great job also explaining how everything works, making sure we understood the system before they left.

When I bought my house, they have a contract with K. Hovnanian alarm, so Guardian installed the security system for free as long as I signed a contract with them. Signing up with them, everybody was knowledgeable and were able to help me out just fine. There were a couple of issues with the installation but we’re in the process of getting that taken care of now.

I built a townhome and Guardian was linked in with the community there. Their people seem very nice and soft spoken on the phone. Aside from the package I got from them, I added some home automation stuff. They also did the low voltage wiring for me, for some of my flat panel TVs and the surround sound system. I bought two of the wireless locks and had that hooked up to the phone and added the garage door opener. I am just concerned with the motion sensor which has been set off by my dog twice but I am going to make an appointment later to see if they can address that. Besides that small piece, everything else has been top notch.

My service package from Guardian has a lot of features including the police protection. Since I live by myself, work second shift and come home at night alone, I got those features. So far, I love the system. The Guardian installer was nice and very accurate. He walked me through every step and told me what he was going to do. I'm still trying to get familiar with the system, though. And I have some mishaps with it, if I punch in disarm, it won't light up so I can't punch in my code. I don't know what I'm doing wrong. I'm going to start using my phone instead since it seems to work better. If I miscode it, the people at Guardian will call me and ask if everything's all right. They're right on cue with it.

When we were purchasing a new home, we heard of Guardian Protection Services and had them be a part of the process. We met with a gentleman about three times for more than an hour each time. He was fantastic, very patient with us and really explained things well. He was with the vision of selling some things other than a security system. We did the security system and they had a gentleman named Adam come out. That was just a couple of weeks ago and he activated the system. He then taught me a few little things and we went on the website to get a new password, a username and set up the basics. He gave me some basic instruction which I wrote it down then I started experimenting with it.
The only thing that he didn’t say to me, that is really important that I called about today, was to really make it clear what the procedure is if you’re unfamiliar with a security system like me since I’ve never had one before. It's not just for putting the code in and activating it, but also how much time you actually have to get out the door, get in your car and drive away before there’s a problem. It's the same with coming back. I found out from them today that when I open my garage door, it doesn’t activate an emergency or set off the alarm. It’s only when I put my key in the door and I have 30 seconds before there’s a problem. On my way out I have 60 seconds. It’s a little nerve-racking if you’re trying to get in the car, get out of there and get the garage door closed before the thing goes off.
It’s mostly my ignorance about what the system entails, though, and the same goes with my husband who was more interested in it than I was. He just deactivates it when he’s around. But because I’m the one who’s there all day long every day, I’m the one who has to deal with it all the time. It’s a little aggravating and a bit of a hassle especially to learn how to use it. The jury’s still out on whether I feel like it’s something I want, need and like.

The previous owners of the house I bought this year had Guardian Protection services and were paying for it, and they passed it on to me. I got the same contract with Guardian and we just changed the names. Although I'm the owner of the house, my sister was the one who was there when the sales reps went to the house, and she said that everything was pretty good with them. It's better for me that she talked to them because I'm always working and I'm not home all the time. So far, everything's been good with Guardian, even though I've barely had three weeks living there.

On Saturday December 17, 2016 I had an appointment for a tech to come to my home and reinstall our thermostat. A week prior I had a brand new HVAC system installed. The company did not know how to program the thermostat so they put their own thermostat in. When the Guardian tech came out to reinstall the thermostat he didn't turn off the breaker and blew a fuse. He then went into the new HVAC system and opened up the system VOIDING the warranty to an $8000 system. The tech told me "There is no power going to the red wire. You'll have to call the company to fix it." I explained to him that the heater was working the night before and the AC was on that morning. Because the temperature was supposed to drop down to 29 degrees that night, and I have a 4 month old in the home I had no choice but to call a tech from the HVAC company (Radiant) to come out.
The guardian tech spoke to the HVAC tech on the phone to explain what happened but when they were speaking the Guardian tech took the phone outside so that I couldn't hear what was being said. When the HVAC tech got to our house he stated that the fuse was definitely blown because the Guardian tech did not turn off the breaker when he changed the thermostat and that when he spoke to the Guardian tech on the phone earlier that day the Guardian tech told him the system was not working when he arrived to program the thermostat. LIE. I had to pay the HVAC tech $440 for an on call Saturday visit.
While he was there we called customer service and explained the situation (This guy is AMAZING). The HVAC tech got on the phone and asked for the customer service rep to record his phone call. Everything was explained to the customer service rep. We confirmed again that the call was being recorded and saved to my file for the investigation. I emailed pictures of the blown fuses and a copy of the receipt to Guardian @ custserv@gpsx.net Attention Carlos **.
Today is January 18th. I have called every Monday and Friday for the first three weeks of this issue. Last week I called three times. This week I have called 2 times. The only answer I've gotten from anyone is "This is still being investigated." I asked to be let out of my contract because I REFUSE to go through this again. They came back to me with "We can give you a $5 a month discount." I CAN'T USE THEIR EQUIPMENT!!! I don't want them back in my house because they broke my BRAND NEW HVAC, voided the warranty AND refuse to reimburse me the cost of the repair!!!
I had to ask a customer service rep 4 times yesterday to get a supervisor on the phone. I was told they are VERY busy. When I wouldn't take that lame excuse I was told Supervisor "John" will call me by the end of the day, and if he doesn't his extension is **. Well, of course Supervisor John has not called me back. I called and left another message.
I am a single mom. I was out $440 right before Christmas because of this company. They refuse to reimburse me. They voided a warranty for a HVAC that was only a week old at the time. I refuse to have them back in my house because I can't afford to pay for the mistakes THEY MAKE. I WANT MY $$ and I want out of this sorry contract!!!
To top it off this isn't the first time I had issues with this system or the installation of the thermostat!! When I moved in November 2014 it took them 'till April to come out and reinstall the equipment. AGAIN it was a NIGHTMARE. The AC or heat would not turn on. We had to suffer with no HVAC for a week because when it was programmed the tech didn't check to see if it actually worked. The second time they came out they only checked the heat. It worked but the AC didn't. I had to call them AGAIN to come out to fix it and they just didn't have an opening in their schedule. I literally had to YELL at someone to get out to our home and get the AC to work. Whatever you do DON'T do business with this company!!

I availed of Guardian's services for my safety. As a single person living in a house, it's better to obviously have that protection. John was my sales agent at the very beginning and the appointment went fine but he could have done a better job at explaining what I was signing up for. It wasn't until much later that I found out from somebody else that I signed up for a five-year contract. Once I got it to his attention, he sent me an email with a different contract for three years and that was it. But the Guardian installation guy was cool. He was very good, quick, thorough and helped me walk through the website. Overall, I'm satisfied with the service.

The items that were mentioned to my wife and me was the main factor for us to make the decision on getting the service from Guardian Protection Services. The sales rep was very good. At first I was very skeptic because I didn’t know who he was. But after I checked on the internet and verified he was legit, everything went smooth. If anybody needs a security system, I would definitely give them Guardian's number. I’m very happy with the service.

A couple of impostors came and said they were from Monitronics. At that time we had Monitronics and they said they came to update some older equipment. But after it was all over and done with, we found out that it was a different company. They didn't mention anything about Guardian until they were walking out of the house and they didn't leave me any information, no paperwork or anything, as they were leaving. It turned into a mess and I haven't straightened it out. Then I just had Monitronics come, demanded their account back and was determined to get it. They told me that they had bought out the Guardian contract. I felt they led me to believe that that was the right thing to do so we went with that. So we had a couple of months that we were back with Monitronics and not with Guardian.
We were going with that then until I got a call from Guardian or AMP, rather saying that Monitronics did not and would not buy out the contract. So we're back with Guardian because Monitronics refused to buy back the contract because it was such a new contract - too much money involved. Then, we were advised to go back with Guardian because Monitronics didn't want to buy the contract back, we'd be better off going back with Guardian.
Therefore, on January 2nd, Max, from AMP came and put in another monitor. In the process of Monitronics coming back in the second time, they ended up taking the monitor that was at the house with them when they left. We were out a Guardian's monitor. We still have one of Monitronics' monitor in the house that they asked me to send back to them. But before I can send it back to them, they have to send me packaging and a label to send it back. I haven't heard anything more from Monitronics about it.
I had an invoice in the mail for the $54.81, and another letter that stated that Guardian couldn't get into my bank account. They couldn't get into it because of the mess-up and I have been charged over $400 through my back account for the mix-up to both companies that was unnecessary. So, I had to sign papers to keep anybody from taking anything more from my bank account.
I have to go to the bank to make the bank release the bank account so Guardian can go ahead and bill the monthly bill to the bank account versus sending it in the mail. I have until February 26th, 24th or something like that to get the payment in. Then when I got the bank statement, I realized that Guardian had tried to go through the bank account and, of course, it had been blocked. I blocked that on purpose because it was just so much going in from both companies through my bank account. This will be the last contract we'll have with any security system. But I would recommend Guardian when it comes to the security service it provides.

Guardian Protection Services came with the house upon purchase. We had a pre-wiring meeting with the Guardian rep and the builder and they went over what we wanted in the home. The rep gave me a rundown of what Guardian offered, what services they could provide, how much it would cost, and gave a lot of information about the entire process of how the integration of the home and the Guardian would be. My interaction with the rep went well and we selected what we wanted and they included that in the bill.
Everybody in Guardian was most helpful and even the people who did the full installation made sure that the connections were uploaded for the call center and whatnot. Everything was taken care of very professionally. I moved in on December 16th and my service didn't get turned on until maybe Monday. I've been using the mobile app and it's very intuitive but I'm still getting familiar with the product. My experience with Guardian has been great so far.

We got the video monitoring from Guardian Protection Services because the bedroom is upstairs and we can't see the front of the house from there. We also have the fire alarm because our dog is home during the day and we would hate for a fire to happen since he cannot get out. It was simple and easy to get everything set up and their services have been great. Also, the installer was really nice, on-time and cleaned up after the work was done.

1I got Guardian installed through Spectracom which is a reseller. I got the monitoring and sensors but the main issue was I wanted the fire monitoring in case I was away. I'm satisfied with the service so far. The Spectracom people were really nice and answered all of our questions and when I had a follow-up call with a Guardian rep about a billing question, we had a really quick but fine interaction. The bill was higher than I remembered it was going to be because it was prorated for an additional month. So it was fine and exactly what it was supposed to be.
Also, the installer was really good. He tried hard to get it in an ideal spot. There were some stuff in the way so he couldn't get it there so he put it in the next best spot. He answered all of our questions while he was working, asked a lot of questions about where we come in and all the stuff that could affect where he puts the equipment and took his time with that. I had a professional and affordable experience with Guardian Protection Services.

We had the same guy come out and hook up a sound system but he said that the speakers we had wired for the outside so we could listen to music when we're gonna put a pool in wouldn't work with just the one box. We purchased it so everything would work but he said that it wouldn't with what we got. So, I put a note on the paperwork so when it got back to the office someone would see it. I just wish I would have gotten a call back about not being able to use the outside speakers by now. Other than that, everything has been fine so far.

The sales rep was really nice and the installer was very good. I got the basic service package since it's what I could afford right now. It has been good so far although the first couple of days was a little annoying because the alarm kept on going off from the garage door window. They sent someone to check it out and it hasn't gone off since they switched the sensor.

I like Guardian Protection Services so far. They're good. However, we didn't think where we put the system out really well so when it was in the test mode, we couldn’t hear good in the other parts of the house. I am wondering if there is a siren or a speaker that could be added to some of the locations in the house.

I had ADT before and Guardian is so much better! ADT sucked. Guardian completely secured my home and ADT didn't. I had Guardian when I lived in South Carolina and I moved it here. My experience with them has been fine. I got the windows and doors all switched up and sun-proofed. The sales reps and I have had fantastic interactions and the installers were knowledgeable and courteous. I love Guardian and I feel completely safe as I have their system.

The sales rep, Brooke, was great. However, the guy from the third party company Guardian used showed up on a Saturday and didn't have the stuff to do the installation. He came back on Monday and then all of a sudden he was saying $3000 more for the equipment. I told him to do what was on his work order but I felt a little bit like bait and switch. I don't even know how to tell if the system is actually hooked up like they say it is or if it's just making noise.

This is a new home and a Guardian's rep was just passing by the area because he lives close by and had me signed up with them. Their technician was professional, detailed and very in depth with everything. He went out of his way in scheduling with them coming. They wanted to put it on the same day to have them install the system but I was the one who couldn’t be here. But since the installation, I have more peace of mind and less worries.

Everything's been all right with Guardian so far. I've got my home and two car garages at the end of my house protected by their devices. The installer had some problems trying to get a two way call coming through on security though. So, he had to hook it up on my telephone line and, worked for about seven hours getting it in because he had a lot of trouble with it. But everything has gone pretty smoothly since then.

Ryan Homes recommended building the Guardian security system to the house and we went for it mainly because security is the first thing in the house and because Guardian gave us the hardwired security which is more durable. We have a friend who also used it before and they recommended it to us so we know that it works. The sales rep gave us more suggestions so we asked several questions and it's really smooth during the communication. The installation crew was on time. Their people is great and their reaction is fast so I'm really satisfied with Guardian till today.

I submitted my request online at 10:30 at night while I was watching a football game, and I got a call within five minutes from the sales rep. I was appreciative that he called me because it was fresh on my mind and I had questions. I did business with him because he made me feel most comfortable with what I was looking for, explaining the pros and cons in an industry I’m not familiar with, because I’ve never had an alarm system before. Then he came out to meet me at my house on Christmas Eve to get everything set up for the day after Christmas. So he did a great job.

I had a previous alarm system and we were getting rid of our landline so I was looking to switch over to a mobile type. Guardian called in so I checked them out as I did with my previous provider and Guardian had the best deal and offered everything I wanted. It worked out perfectly. Also, I was on the phone with their reps a couple of times and they were knowledgeable.

The guy who hooked up our Guardian Protection Services system was really great. And we've had help with people we've called for, like when we didn't know what to do with one of the buttons. When we had a false alarm, they also got here really fast. Everybody's been really helpful and really good. They're wonderful people to deal with.

The installer from Guardian was pretty cool. However, I think that $60 a month is a ridiculous bill. It's extremely too high. Especially with the way technology changes every freaking five seconds. Nonetheless, I'd recommend Guardian.

The only reason why I chose Guardian was they work with my builder so the installation was included in my construction. I've never had a security system before so I'm new to it, but the security has been great. The sales rep was good and he was able to explain all the service levels. It's a simple and effective service overall.

We got a pretty good deal on their service package. There was no charge to get it installed. The reps were knowledgeable, but they were not that easy to get in contact with. It takes about two or three times to get it worked out. So far the system is working perfectly. But when the door opens, it doesn’t make enough noise. I’ve got the same system in my other church in Rowland, and the door there makes a good noise, so it’s okay.

Guardian was fabulous from the very beginning to the very end. I’m brand new in the area as I came from a different state so I was looking for a protection service but I really wasn’t sure where I was going to go with it but their sales rep was very informative and explained the purposes of having a protection service, etc. He answered all my questions and made me very comfortable. The price was right too. The installers were so good, patient, kind and understanding. They did all the work and went over everything with me a couple of times because I didn’t get it.
I definitely found what I was looking for. I am not a technical person so I was a little overwhelmed at first and I thought this is going to be too much for me. I didn’t want to set the alarm off. Also at the same time, I was having a pet sitter come in. Somebody knew so I didn’t want to make a mess with them. But everything worked out perfectly. I am 100% satisfied. I had gone back to New Jersey for the weekend as it was my granddaughter’s birthday and I another pet sitter here, someone that I didn’t even know. I made up her own little password so she could get in and out and I was very comfortable because I saw exactly when she came in and left. That is a plus for the program and I was real pleased about that.
Also, with this second pet sitter that I had to get at the last minute, I didn’t have her come in through the garage but through the door. Where the panel is is close to the garage door and it was going to be more than 30 seconds to get over to the panel and I didn’t want to frighten her in any way and have the alarm go off. So I called up and I asked them if they could adjust it to 60 seconds instead and they were so very kind about that and said they would call me when it's done. The lady told me she would try to get it done as soon as possible and they did before I left so I really had a great peace of mind. I'm extremely pleased with their services and would definitely recommend them to anybody who would listen to me.

I told Guardian that I was looking to start a service with them. They took my information and sent someone out. The house already had the equipment so they just reactivated it. The service seems to be fine. I’ve only had a few weeks with it, but the system is working, and the only problem I’m having is gaining access to the website, so I can’t apply the app. I’ve tried customer service a couple of times. They have my account attached to someone else’s, and they’ve been working on that. They keep giving me a couple of days to try again, and see if they’ve separated the accounts from the previous owner of this place and from me.

We have been using Guardian for over 6 years now. There were numerous issues but last week our house was burglarized. Thieves broke in while we were away and valuables were taken. We were away but Guardian did not call us or the police. The thieves apparently took their time. Deck door was broken. And basement door was opened. When we contacted Guardian the tech failed to answer our questions. He says that the burglar may have cut off our phones... However when we called our phone company they say there was no interruption in our phone service that day. Guardian has no record of when the doors were opened. They are useless. We would advise everyone to please do not trust this company. It is a sham... Your family and kids are the most valuable asset you have. Avoid this at all cost.

When I bought my house, Guardian Protection Services originally solicited us for an alarm system, which they installed on behalf of ADT and then more recently, they let me know that there was better technology out there, and they could update the panel. They then came out and did new stuff and ended up installing the new alarm. They came to us, and it so happened that there were better features for the same price that we were paying so it made sense to upgrade.
The only strange thing was that we scheduled the appointment and then we had a family emergency, so I called Guardian's rep two days before the installation was scheduled and left him three messages and I never heard back from him. Then the installer showed up even though I told him we weren’t going to be there. I was not able to get in touch with him to tell him we were not available at the time anymore. They then rescheduled it for a time that worked for us.
The guy who came out to install was really great but apparently the box that he had with all the stuff in it was missing a part. So, he had to leave and drive and pick up the piece, which ended up taking more than an hour for him to come back and finish the installation. It wasn’t a huge deal, I didn’t have anything going on, but it could have been bothersome to someone who had.
Everybody at Guardian was very nice, and helpful and they seemed to know what they were doing. The only other thing is that they’re supposed to send me a letter that is to cancel my current service, and it’s been about two weeks and I have yet to receive that letter. The communication on the phone isn’t great but in person, they’re wonderful.

I have been a customer for about 5 years and decided to get a different provider because they offered me a better monthly deal. I made the switch back in September and when I tried to cancel with Guardian I was told that I was in a revolving contract which means after my contract expired I was signed up for another 3 years which of course never agree to it. So I wanted to cancel regardless just like you can with any company and they charge you a termination fee but instead they want me to pay the fee in advance before I can cancel even though I have already disconnected all their equipment and longer have a landline. I'm very happy with my current provider. I will start a campaign on social media and they will be sorry they have messed with me.

We had a Guardian Protection Services salesman come to our house. He was very nice, knowledgeable and forthright about everything pertaining with Guardian and how it compared to other security companies. We found that there was adequate services pertaining to the different packages. It just all depended on what we wanted in the service. I work third shifts so my wife is a little more at ease when she's at home by herself at night. Trying to figure it out from the get-go is a learning curve just like anything but my wife and I were both satisfied with the service.
The installation guy was great. He was very professional, thorough, quick and didn't make any decisions until he asked what I thought. He made sure that I was fairly satisfied and showed me how everything worked, and basically told me that I would have to learn it to be more comfortable with it. He gave me a crash course on what to do with the key fob and the panel. He seemed like he enjoyed his job and knew what he was doing. I was satisfied throughout the process. Overall, they were reliable and they give me peace of mind.

I live in a safe community but there's starting to be some issues in the surrounding communities. It was making me nervous and I felt like I wanted something to feel a little more secure because I'm home alone. I had mentioned to one of my friends at work that I was looking for a system and she had Guardian and recommended them. We got the fire and home protection from Guardian Protection Services so I got door, window and fire alarms included in the service package. So far, I'm really satisfied with them. They installed the same day so it was really quick. They're also easy to talk to. However, they missed something on the original order but they fixed it real quick so everything went well.
