    Based on the reviews that I read on the Internet, Frontpoint sounded like a good company, so I went with them. Installing it was easy. I use the app on my phone, I can go on and check to see when the door is opened or closed. I had to call the Frontpoint team a few times for different things and they have been very helpful.     I liked that Frontpoint's service was cellular and it didn't go through the internet. I still have a few issues, but setting the device up was very quick and easy to do. I bought the system for the cameras and was using it to be able to record what was going on in my house. It would be great to have an option to buy more storage once I record a certain amount of transactions and have used for monthly allotment, but anyway, since installation, things that used to be missing in my house are not.

    I first heard about Frontpoint Home Security when I did my due diligence and researched after I was broken into. I went with Frontpoint because of their pricing and the reviews and I've had them for almost a year to the day. Setting up the Frontpoint device is very seamless and easy. And, it's great to be able to control the cameras through my phone, but I don't like the limited amount of clips that stores online per month. I live near a road and it picks up motion and records that clip for every car that goes. Then the next thing you know, my storage is full. And, six months after it's installed, I had a second attempted break-in. They came in and the motions went off and they left so fast that they broke my front door in trying to get out. And they got nothing so it saves me. It's a great system. I have full faith in it and I have recommended it to a few people.

    It seemed like Frontpoint was an easy installation but it was hard in some of the windows. We've been with them for a year and we have their wireless camera, but we'd like to have their automated lights later on. We also get to interact with their staff whenever the alarm's on, and they've been quick and nice. The problem we have though is they sometimes tell us that the sensor is open, but it's actually not - it could be because of the sensor or the internet. In the beginning, it was a hassle for me because I had to go back home, but it's okay now and I'd recommend them to a friend.

    Installing the Frontpoint device was mostly easy. We have a couple of the lights installed with a switcher and occasionally, I have trouble getting a signal. We turn the light off and it wouldn't turn off, or turn the light on and it wouldn't turn on, then a minute later, all signals turn off and on several times in a row. My biggest complaint though is that the digital control panel is underpowered and sometimes will stutter when talking. I'll be hanging the button and it will take a second or a couple for the button before it goes "Press to register." There's a delay and it doesn't feel like I'm on my iPhone. Also, sometimes when I'm pressing the panel, the screen will twitch, distort for a second and come back. On another note, Frontpoint had to get tech support to help hook up one of the things that wasn't hooked up and their customer service shipped us out a new connector for one of our electrical door sensors because the battery came out.

    We've been with Frontpoint home security for half a year. Our pre-sales interactions with the team at Frontpoint were okay. But the support team took a few weeks to correct the minor typos that were made during the set-up of our accounts. However, it was very easy to set up our security device. I've tried the camera for our front door and it was okay. Since setting up our Frontpoint system, my wife might feel more secure, but it hasn't made a big impact on our lives. In terms of efforts to maintain, it's been very hassle-free, so I haven't thought about it an awful lot.

    I've been using Frontpoint for a year. Installation seemed fine. The camera system is great to install. The connectivity was exceptional. Though, I had issues with the 3M sticky things for the door as I have all-natural wood doors in my house. One time, I shut the door and left, had put the alarm on, and as I was driving in the city, I had a call saying that my alarm is going off. Apparently, when I shut the door, the magnetic piece had fallen off. That is my only disappointment. That cost me because in Canada, I had to pay our police services $75 for the call out. But everything has been very good. I have had only one billing issue, likely my fault. My Visa was a little over only because I had to pay the $75 for a little magnetic strip that fell off when I closed the door. I want to make people that are purchasing the system aware, to be extra vigilant when putting the adhesive up to make sure that it's placed correctly.

    I read a lot of online reviews and Frontpoint always came up front. The first time I called Frontpoint, I tried to get some information but they made me buy the product. I'd already researched the alarm before I called them and their sales team was good. Set-up was easy and good. I use the automated locks and wireless cameras. The concept is good but the implementation can be better. The last time my cleaners were at my house to clean it, when I tried to open the lock remotely using the mobile app, it didn't work. On the second or third attempt, it opened. I don't know if it might be a delay. The mobile app notification is pretty good though and I like it. Whenever someone unlocks my door, I get a notification in my mobile phone. Now, managing my home from afar is very easy and it gives me peace of mind. Customer care is good too. When I call them for anything, they do it right away. Frontpoint is a better choice for security systems.

    Frontpoint has been my home security provider for a year. I have called Customer Service once, and the reps were fine and solved my problem. However, I bought some additional sensing devices but the system will only take ten different units before they start charging me extra. So I still haven't set up the system with the additional sensors that I'd like to have, because it gets too expensive.

    It's been eight months since I've had Frontpoint and I have cameras inside and outside along with door locks. It was easy setting the system up except that we live out in the country and our wifi is not the strongest. I had troubles with my outside cameras so I had to put a wifi booster in the garage to boost the two cameras. I also wanted to set the motion sensors up so that when I push it on “away” and I'm not there, the motion sensor will come on and any time that there’s a motion on the cameras, I’d be texted.

    But there’s not enough information in here for me to understand it. There's one step that says you have to have the camera's motion sensors always. And then on the next step, it says it's working only when you push "away". So I set that up and I didn't even get a mile down the road and it sent me about 90 texts! So I had to go back and shut it off. I think I have it too sensitive. I've called but I haven't been able to get a hold of one of their representatives. But other than those, I like Frontpoint and their cameras get a real good picture and are of good quality.

    We bought a lake place, got broken into, and the next week I started looking for some type of security system. I was looking on the internet and Frontpoint seemed to rate better than most, and it ran off of a wireless cellphone type of signal, which is what I needed at the lake place that we have. I figured this was an easy thing to do that might help with preventing another theft.

    I've had Frontpoint since last summer and the customer service has been truly, A-plus, top notch, fantastic. It was also easily set up and was exactly as the instructions lined it out. The security system seems to function like it was meant to and does a good job covering the area that I have it set up for. The problem where we're at is the internet. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. I had the stuff that I did that would run though the internet, didn't work reliably, and so we sent the equipment back and got other stuff that would piggyback off the cell signal. It was easy to send that back in and get other equipment.

    I've had nothing but great service with Frontpoint and I've recommended it to several people.

    It's been about five or six months that we've used Frontpoint. It was super-simple to install. The contact points are all done with an adhesive back and so far they've stayed and worked great. The Frontpoint team helping me to install new products over the phone was great. They are excellent at helping us if we had any questions.

    The system works very well. It wasn't but a couple of months in, we left for a vacation, put the alarm on, and battened down the hatches. My mother-in-law was concerned that the animals needed some water and, lo and behold, she set off the alarm. I'm sitting by the pool in Mexico and I get a call from the Frontpoint team that tells me that someone entered the house a second ago. Would they like me to call the police? And boom! Next thing you know, I was able to contact my mom, verify that she set off the alarm, and called off the company.

    Frontpoint has an auto-reminder feature that tells us that we need to arm our system, and that's all set up for me, at 10:15 when I'm leaving and before the kids come home. Sometimes, I'll disarm the system right before they walk in the door. But they can also do that themselves since they know the codes too. It's also nice that we can disable certain aspects of the system like the motion sensor if we're going to walk around the house at night. I like the ease of it and it all works from my phone. I arm it on my way to work, in the car, only a few minutes out of the driveway and I'm running it. Everything's been fantastic. I'd definitely recommend it.

    In my mind security system is one of those things you need to purchase but don't need to worry about. You just need to know it's there and it's operational when you need it. And I found that Frontpoint was that. Frontpoint's device was very easy to set up.     When it came to protection, we wanted video, the doors and windows secured, and the surveillance stuff recorded. We were searching the internet to see who had the cheaper price for the same type of thing we wanted, and decided to go with Frontpoint.     Frontpoint was rated high on reviews that I read and a friend of mine said it was great so I got them. It's been two years and three months now. It was very easy to install. When one sensor didn't work, they sent one right out. I had two wireless cameras and it's great that I can control them through my app. But I wish it has some type of recording, if only for a day.     I have nothing but positive things to say about Frontpoint. I used to be with ADT for years, and I should’ve switched earlier. I like Frontpoint a lot better. I like having cameras and the remote access. During the times when I had to call them, I’ve never had a bad experience. They have unbelievably good training there. Everybody is so friendly.     Frontpoint is a little bit cheaper compared to other companies and their customer service was very responsive so I decided to have them. I've been with them for six months and I'm very happy. Setting up the security device was very easy which took me 15 minutes total. Just open up the equipment, plug it in, and then call their toll-free number, and they take you through the setup. The representatives have been great, friendly and able to answer all my questions. Their remote access works great too - very reliable and easy to use. When we're out of town, we can turn on some lights now and then and it looks like we're home. We have had a couple of friends sign up after we did.

    I didn't know anything about home security so I've been researching and checked out different websites and across the board, Frontpoint's reviews were really good. It only took my husband 10 minutes to install their security device, it was really quick. Our system includes the light control and it's great because I have a different schedule. I come home first, it's usually dark and I don't like that. It's really nice that I don't have to rush in to turn on the lights.

    I also talked to their team previously as my alarm's gone off twice. One of them was my fault because I was cooking and I found out that my vent thing doesn't work very well, but the fire detector does. Then the other one was about the two flood sensors -- one by my AC unit, the other by my washer. I was doing laundry and it went off. I thought it was a defective system. They said "We'll try to reprogram it. Maybe it was some weird blip in the thing." A few hours later, I was home alone and it went off again. I went to check and sure enough, it actually was leaking water. I’m so glad it works!

    There was a lot of frustration in setting up the Frontpoint security device during the two times that it was done, because of the software being unable to find what it was supposed to. The same thing happened when I set up the initial cameras and when I got another camera after that. I think it didn’t use the browser that I use, and then something broke down during the testing. It took a while before everything was ironed out, and it felt to me as though the IT people didn’t have their act together. The first person whom I spoke with was unable to figure out why it wasn’t connecting and had to pass me on to a higher level of technical support in order to get it worked out. It took me over two hours online, both times, to get it fixed, and I wasn’t happy with that at all. Anyway, I have the wireless cameras and I use my iPad, iPhone, PC, or Mac to control them.

    I've had Frontpoint for at least five years. However, I'm thinking about looking into another company only because we have two accounts for our two houses, and I seem to be charged a lot. As I signed on with the last one, I talked to the person and he said, “Well, we can do something about that.” so they lessened the first one, but it is quite expensive for both of them. Also, I have done as the Frontpoint team have instructed and sent back something because they sent me another thing and it didn't work. A couple times, they didn't put it on record and so, it wasn't given credit to me. I had emails or texts that I hadn't done this or that and then when I called, they looked it up and said, “Oh yeah.”. That would be the only problem that we had but they were friendly and courteous.

    I have recommended Frontpoint to a lot of people and they have signed on. It's a good benefit to us because we're away so often not just from one house but even away from both houses, so it is valuable. Sometimes I forget to shut it off and open the door but I know that if something happens, I'll get a call immediately and that’s great. I'm pretty satisfied with the service and most of the time when I talk to anybody that's involved with it, it's been very positive.

Setting it up is fairly easy, but there are few complications with regards to the distance between certain controllers that made it a little bit more difficult.     Before we moved to South Carolina we researched for top customer service and alarm systems that was in the area. We used to have an AT&T alarm system but we couldn't use it anymore since they were not a provider there. Frontpoint got up first so we chose them as our provider. We've had them since July of 2015 and everything has been great so far.

    The equipment was very efficient and the setup was very simple. They're also easy to contact and very helpful if you need a walkthrough or call them for any problem or concern. I have not used any feature for the water or electricity, just the sensors on the windows and doors, though we'd love to move it to that direction. I also have one camera but it's not wireless so I'm definitely looking into that. On top of that, my wife and I enjoy being able to use the system with our phones, control things and check into our home when we're out of state or out of time. It has been very accessible and made us very comfortable in the new state and environment. We now have less worries so we're very satisfied.

I’ve been using it for 10 months already.     I'm extremely satisfied with Frontpoint. It's a good system and I feel comfortable with it. They have no wires and they're on the cloud, etc. and other companies follow them about those. They also don't come into houses to install. I have cameras and I go online with that. I activated my system and deactivated it from online. I can go online and look at my house when I want to. It's cool to be able to do it, even though I don't have to do it, even if I'm on the other side of the world. But I haven't done the locking thing for the house yet, or the thermostat, but we'll wind up doing those.

    One reason that keeps me with them is their team. They're courteous, friendly and knowledgeable. Also, it's relatively less expensive than other companies that have cameras. One can add as much he wants in terms of cameras with them. Unless one gets more than four cameras then it goes up $10 a month. In relation to security, the big thing is I only care when we’re in the house and we have that taken care of. But when I’m out of the house, I only care about the fire alarm and that’s something that makes me feel better. We have fire alarms in the house but I would assume if something happens we would hear all the smoke detectors go off, besides the one that they have. But if I’m not in the house, I know that theirs go straight to the fire company.

    Their customer service is amazing. If I have an issue, they would stay on the phone for hours without any problems if they have to. There's an issue now with my outside camera but it has something to do with the internet in the house - not their fault. I have to address it myself and I just haven't done it. If one has a bad camera, they send a new one right away. There's no reason for me to change at this point and I have recommended them, but it's either people have one or they don't want one. It's hard to sell it.

    The actual sensors were not too complicated. The problem was the cameras because whoever sold me the cameras told me that they were powered over internet connection and they ended up not being that way. So by the time that everything was installed, we realized that what they told me was wrong. All the ceiling was closed so we wouldn't be able to open it up and do the wiring of the cameras to run power through it so I had to return the cameras they've sent me and buy my own cameras. For a month, I didn't have any surveillance in my business. That was the first thing.

    Secondly, functionalities are not great. I wanted to do certain things to like automate the alarm to start at a certain time and to disconnect at a certain time but they don't have that option. So even if I'm not in the business and my employees are opening for me, I have to go and manually, remotely disconnect the alarm because I didn't want to give the employees the option to disconnect the alarm themselves. And many times when the alarm went off by accident, it was a problem for me because I didn't know what was going on. Overall, it's disappointing. The way the service is given and the way it behaves is as a home security system and not as a business.

    I had ADT before as my security provider but it didn't give me options when it came to the different things I could have without them drilling or making holes. Now it's been 3 months since I started using Frontpoint. Although installing it was relatively easy, I had a little bit of an issue with the backdoor. I had to layer a couple of the stickies to make it work. I also had a situation where the keypad froze a couple of times and I ended calling in. They got me a new one quickly and that was a plus. I also have a wireless camera where I had a hard time getting on through Linux from home. I had somebody walk me through it, which was helpful. Overall, it was good.

    Frontpoint had good reviews online and I like the type of system that it is. Setting up the security device was easy and I use most of their features except for the cameras. I've talked to the team at Frontpoint a dozen times, they were able to answer a lot of my questions, and they're great. I’ve had one or two experiences that were mediocre but for the most part they were substantially above average. The only thing is to me there is a difference between Frontpoint technically and the security versus the company and the customer service. They have outstanding customer service but the technology needs to expand and improve.

    I have had such generally good experience with Frontpoint that it’s one of the few large companies that I ever recommend to people. In general, it’s probably the best customer service that I’ve gotten from any large company that I deal with. The customer service is the reason why I recommend it. I had an experience where I was trying to figure out what to do about a security issue in my home and I called to order a supply. And the people that I spoke with knew so much about the system and were willing to talk to me not in a typically customer service manner. They talked to me and in fact explained that what I was calling to pay them money to do was probably not the most effective way of solving the problem and talked to me about what I was getting at and we worked out a different solution.

    I didn't like the services from ADT and so I went with Frontpoint since the web reviews indicated that they had real good customer service. Setting up was easy except the video camera would not link wirelessly. I spoke to someone at Frontpoint for a long time but he was not able to help me to get it to work wirelessly so I had to hardwire it. So far the system seems to be working fine so it guards the place when we’re not here and I have recommended them.

    I did tons of research for about a week until it was down to Frontpoint and Protect America. The two have very comparable packages, I think the hardware was sustained. Protect America has a lifetime warranty on the hardware while Frontpoint only has three years. But what put Frontpoint over the top was that licensing agreement with Alarm.com that makes trustful. Plus, as everybody knows, Frontpoint customer service is really good. Every time I call, people are very friendly. They’re nice and polite, and they actually listen to you.

    I just have issues with the hardware. My control panel is out right now. It’s not working. Imagine that, I have an alarm but the control panel doesn’t work. So I have to keep resetting it through my phone. I just haven’t had time to call for troubleshooting or send it in because I’m really busy. Also, the camera doesn’t always work, almost all the time, which is kind of annoying. And then there’s a little bit of a gap between the moment the alarm goes off and when the Frontpoint dispatch calls you. There’s maybe 2 minutes. If I think about it, in a real emergency situation, I’d prefer to get that call within 30 seconds. I think 2 minutes is a little bit long. On the other hand, having an alarm does give me a little peace of mind. Overall, apart from the technology that can be improved, I’m satisfied.

    I heard about Frontpoint from a friend at work. They have been my home security provider for six months now. Setting up their security device was an awesome experience. Everything was just great. Everybody was willing to help me. I didn’t know what I was doing, but with them guiding me throughout the whole process, it was “painless”, I should say. I got a wireless camera too, but I haven’t been able to work on it.     The Frontpoint home security system works. I am able to track it and watch it on my phone, and see if my door is left open, along with some other amenities that I purchased outside of that, which gives me the visuals that I was looking for, where I can see in my yard. These are additional purchases that I made so that I can have full access to my home when I'm not there. It was extremely easy to install my Frontpoint security device. I have the wireless cameras, the automated lights, and the automated lock. I like being able to control my system through the app. It's nice. But with our technology today, if somebody else knows how to get around, they can open your stuff as well.

    When I initially got the Frontpoint unit, I thought that I was getting a whole deal for the amount of money I spent and that the unit I purchased was going to be the video, but then I came to find out that it wasn't. It's only their base, a touchpad that actually takes the picture of the person who is putting in the security code. But I merely did what I had to do till it was time for me to let it go. As a whole, I would tell other people about Frontpoint.

    I did a research online and found that Frontpoint always got good reviews. That's why I went with it. It was easy to order. But installing it was a little trickier than I thought it would be. I think it's because of the way the house was built. My husband took care of that, although, he had to call Frontpoint a couple of times to get things smoothened out.

    However, I don’t ever use the security system. I live in an older home with a low ceiling and I’ve got a big dog who sits on the furniture and he sets off the alarm. My husband's overseas in the Middle East and I told him about the problem, and I don’t know if he’s going to replace the sensors so that our dog wouldn’t trigger that. He thought that I did not assess the situation appropriately. The other say he said, "Oh, we can’t set the alarm because the dog sets it off." He’s as big as a human, but he jumps up on the chair and then stretches up to bark at somebody coming by the window. Overall, we would only use our alarm if we’re out with the dog, and that during summer. But I’d like to use it when I go to work and my husband’s not here, but I can’t. However, I do have fewer worries when I have the system engaged and I take the time off and bring the dog with me. I feel much better about it.

    I was looking through online reviews of security companies and found Frontpoint there. They have been my home security provider for 6 months already. Setting up the security device was pretty straightforward and easy. They have excellent customer support. I’ve talked to their customer support a lot because I started with the basic system and continued to expand it, and I never had any issues with anyone of them. However, when I purchase something and I use a different account, I have to go back and reset it to a standard billing account. That’s been the only odd thing for me—that I have like a default account where I pay my monthly bill but if I call in order to purchase another item, I give them a different credit card. But other than that, their customer support is probably one of the best.

    I have also tried one of their smart home features which is the automated lights and I noticed that it has intermittent errors when I control them through the mobile app. I also observed that the sensors need to be close together. This is when I use mine in a different way, not to switch my lights on or off. I actually use it to control my garage door opener outside. I’ve had problems when I control it from within the house, but other than that, it works great. And when I turn the lights on and off from the panel, it seems to work flawlessly. I feel better now when I leave the house because I can monitor it from wherever I am, which is nice. When my wife’s at home and she sets the alarm, I know I’ll get notifications if anything goes wrong. That gives me a peace of mind.

    Setting up my Frontpoint security device is easy. We have a camera and a light that's controlled as well, and being able to manage all those is a great capability. They haven't implemented it in the best way yet because one can only control the schedule for the lights via the web, not via the app. Right now, for instance, we have our light go off at 11:00 every night. So if you're gonna be out late, there's no way to say "Don't turn it off at 11." We had to wait until 11:30 or 12 from your smartphone. I'm more secure since setting it up. I have more information about what's going on in the house since you know everything that comes and goes.

    We also have an outside camera and we caught a package thief. He stole something, and with the video from the camera, we were able to report it to the police. They were able to find and arrest the perpetrator. He actually is in jail for 6 months for stealing the package. That's the result of having a camera. Without the camera, you would never know if the package ever arrived or not. Having the video evidence made all the difference.

    I thought Frontpoint's way was a cheap way to set up a security system with it sticking on the wall, but then I realized it was the most convenient way so they don't have to schedule an appointment and everything is stuck on the wall like it's supposed to. The person who helped me set it up was nice and friendly and the initial package that got through Angie's list was the reason why I went through with it. There's a great offering deal at the beginning. I got a lot of discounts on my equipment.

    I only have the security attached and I don't have any cameras yet or any lights attached, but it is nice being able to turn off and turn on the alarm from my phone because I have the four inch touch screen and to arm that manually is annoying because I have to listen to a 60-second countdown timer every time. Since installing the system, it has increased my sense of security. I'd know for a fact that there's no one in the house. I walk through the house, make sure there's no one in it, and arm it. If I hear a noise at night it's nice knowing that there's no one in my house and I know for a fact because the alarm would have gotten off.

    Our Frontpoint system is not working really well. The garage sensor keeps coming on and off. Their customer service is good but if they can't solve the problem, I can only call so much.     I was researching online for different home security systems and found that Frontpoint had some real good reviews from different websites. It’s been a year since I’ve used it and I'm really happy with the system and their customer service. Setting it up was really easy too. They sent everything I needed. I went and put all the sensors on windows and doors and call them to activate everything.

    I’ve used Frontpoint’s smart home features. I can adjust my thermostat when I'm away from home and I can also unlock and lock my front door and that seems to work well most of the time. Occasionally, it doesn't work that well and I that has something more to do with the app that I use for my phone. There was an issue one time where I needed to let the pest guy into my house and I couldn't unlock the door from work. It turned out that for some reason my signal had gotten lost but I called Frontpoint about it and they sent out a Wi-Fi extender to use free of charge at my place to set up. So they did what they could to fix the issue right away. I feel good knowing that I have a better sense of security. I would definitely recommend them.

We don't have the wireless camera but we have a wireless light and we use it all the time. I like the app too. The only thing that annoys me is that I actually can't turn my lamp on with its own button, its own switch.     So far, so good with Frontpoint. I'm very happy. I researched online. Their reviews were superior to the competitors.     It has been a fantastic experience with Frontpoint. We heard about Frontpoint through a friend of my wife who mentioned to us that he had shifted to them and had a good experience with their customer service and their system.     Frontpoint was number one rated over the other ones but installation is really difficult. Our doors are really thick. They had to send us a bunch of stuff like the stickers didn't work right, we put them on wrong so they had to send us more. We want it to be cordless. We thought it would be able to be on the wall without cord and that we upgraded to the one that we thought it didn't have a cord and it still did. And then we tried to put it together and something came out and then we had to get a new battery. I don't know what happened exactly. I'm not technical but something was removed like a wire accidentally and then we had to have them send us another one. It took us about six to eight weeks to get it up and running. But other than that, they're very helpful. They had great people to help us get everything done. I would continue on with Frontpoint except the installation.

    My interactions with the Frontpoint team have been good, but I was misled when I bought the system. I don’t have good cell service in my house. It was a big concern for me and I told them that, but they said that it's not a problem. However, it has always been a big problem, so they upgraded my control panel to a broadband one, and it’s better, but sometimes, there is still a delayed reaction when I try to turn the alarm system off or on. Since they put the new control panel out, I had another window sensor that is not working, so I needed to call back in to have it reset. Furthermore, their hold times are bad, and It takes an hour to call and have them, so I haven’t gotten it done yet.

    I did a massive research online until I found what appeared to be the best company. We've chosen Frontpoint because they were more state of the art - they mail the equipment and you plug it in yourself. It's really easy. It's wireless and uses a cell phone technology. If I cut my landline, they won't wipe out the service. Setting up the device was simple as can be. The instructions were very clear, precise, and it was great. We have been using it for five years now.

    All the communications that I've had with Frontpoint from the beginning to just recently have been fabulous. What really sold me at staying with them is the people. I sent an e-mail on a Saturday, and I assume that I would get a call on a Monday or Tuesday, but they called me on a Sunday. You can't beat that.     Installing the Fronpoint system was simple. We've had a few issues and I need to get on a call. But other than that, it's been pretty good. The interaction I had with their team was also great. The only problem we have now is that our apps sometimes aren't consistent – it would say it's disarmed when it’s actually armed, and it's not reliable, so we always have to know what the status is.

    I've had Frontpoint since June and I chose them over other providers because of their customer service. I’ve had no problems setting up the security system, and the Frontpoint team has always been able to quickly resolved all my problems with the equipment when it becomes dysfunctional. We also have the automated lights, as well as the mobile app, which I like because I'm able to manage and control the system. I only wish that the app would sync with my garage door, which requires a different setup. If they can do that, it'd be wonderful. We feel much more secure now that the security system is in place.

    Frontpoint was always coming up as number 1 when I did online searches to see who the best company was out there. I've used them as my home security provider for about a year now. We have wireless cameras and some automated lights and they work very well. Also, I like being able to manage and control a system like that off one app. My wife and I both use it and it's worked out very well. We both have more peace of mind knowing there's an alarm system in the house.

    I was unhappy with ADT service so I Googled the best service possible and Frontpoint came up as number one. I've had them as my home security provider since May and installing their security device was very smooth, time efficient and without incident. I have their cameras and the thermostat also. Moreover, their app functions flawlessly whereas the other situation I experienced was not flawless. Frontpoint's mobile app had zero issues and I love it. However, I need to call the Frontpoint team back during initial set up because I got a different Wi-Fi provider so I have to re-establish connection to my camera and I haven't had a chance to give them a call yet.

    Nevertheless, I like having the doors and windows set especially when I'm in the house alone at night. I like that not only is an alarm gonna go off and the police are gonna be sent, but I also like that the camera is set to capture and record any that goes on. Overall, Frontpoint is consumer friendly, customizable, and has incredible ease of use. Even the alarm system is very simple since there's a button that says "Motions". I know that turns on the motion detector and it's not rocket science so I really appreciate it.

We're strictly operating on MiFi and so the cameras misses a lot that happens. I keep setting them up to get stuff going through my driveway and haven't had it report one thing in three months.     I really enjoyed Frontpoint. I was sick of my security system then so I did a massive internet search, reading lots of reviews. Frontpoint kept coming up as the best, if not one of the best. Setting it up was easy. I did it all myself. It was minimal time and I got to put things where I wanted to versus having someone come in to my house, schedule an appointment and put them where they think they need to go. The nice thing is that Frontpoint gives the option to not go live for the first week. I liked that because I had one false alarm at 2:00 in the morning and it didn't call the police. But customer service called me which was nice and they sent me another one to see if it does it again, and it never did. It was kind of working out the bugs of the system.

    I also have the automated light system and it's wonderful. I love it. I like the remote that I can use where I’ll set my alarm at night and go to bed and then turn off the lights from my bed which is great.     I did some googling and found out Frontpoint is very highly rated so we gave them a try. Installation was fairly easy, though my husband did have to fix a couple of things due to a miscommunication. Their reps were on the phone with us the whole time however and really walked us through the process. We've had it for under a year at this point.

    We set up the app on our phone so it will let us know when the front door opens and closes, or when windows/certain doors are left open. My husband and I both really love that helpful feature.     I have used Frontpoint Home Automation for 3 years now. I also have Protection 1 for my other home but I prefer Frontpoint. I like the cameras. I can have up to 10 cameras with my Frontpoint and then wherever it's located, my office or my home. On the other hand, Protection 1 wants to charge me an extra fee per month to have a single camera so I told them to forget it. The only reason I have Protection 1 at my other home is because my house was built when I bought it, it's all wired with Protection 1.

    Moreover, setting up the Frontpoint security device was pretty easy. The people I called to get it all going was easy to work with and whenever I had any kind of problem, they're right there for me and have taken care of me. I've had a couple of occasions where the alarms went off and the police have been called so I'm very happy with Frontpoint. I have wireless cameras, the CO detector, the liquid censor, and I have the temperature drops below 41 degrees censor. I use the mobile app to control all these features which I like a lot better than I do my Protection 1 app. It is much easier to use. I have Frontpoint in Colorado where it gets very cold and I'm not there in the winter most of the time. I'm not concerned about losing my heat and my pipes freezing since having Frontpoint. I'm not worried about somebody going in there when I'm not there and without me knowing about it.

    I was using another security provider before Frontpoint. It was really old - I needed something more, those with cameras - and I didn't actually use that security system anyway. Installation of Frontpoint's system was only supposed to last 5 minutes but it took 15 minutes in my case. I had to be on the phone with a rep because-because I needed to buy this cord to connect my camera and then to my internet.

    I've had Frontpoint for 4 or 5 months now. I lock my door from my work sometimes or set my alarm from my work, which is awesome. I wish I can control lights too but the system works pretty good.     Frontpoint is a better value compared to my previous provider. It was easy to set up. I just have one thing. Sometimes when I toggle between my two video cameras, one of them won't work. It just says try again and it won't go between the two. So I needed to ask somebody about that at some point. But all in all I love it. I am going through a divorce right now and I had a spouse who had been coming to the house when I wasn't here. So it's really nice getting a text if anybody disarms the system. It does make me feel safer. And if I'm out and come home after dark, I know that nobody's been there since I've set the system. A couple of times my kids have not disarmed the system fast enough.     We've been using the Frontpoint security system for 3 months and all the experiences with them have been positive. We chose Frontpoint because of the reviews and the reviewers highlighted the fact that the system was a lot more responsive, and it was more open in the sense that the system can work with any sensor I buy off the market. I didn't have to buy my sensors primarily from them. Both of that made the decision easier. Setting up the system was pretty straightforward - I got the sensors and called them up to activate.     I did a Google search of a bunch of companies, and Frontpoint seems to be the easiest one to deal with in general, and had good reviews. When I started installing it, their service team talked me through it for 2 hours which was really helpful but I haven't finished installing it because I would need a laptop. So if I had one feedback, I would make it easier to install it with a tablet and iPhone as far as the cameras and completing the whole installation. They also called once when one of the sensors dropped off where I stuck it and let me know that one of the keys was open.

    It's been 4 months since we've used Frontpoint for a remote property 300 miles away from our home. It's a good system and I feel more secure since we set it up. It was straightforward to set up the device, but some of the materials they provide must not have been tested enough especially the adhesives that they provide for the motion detectors since I'm having motion detectors fall off the walls all the time and this makes the police come out. I'm in trouble with the police because of it. I've called Frontpoint and complained about this and they said no problem, but there is a problem.

    I'm going on about a year with Frontpoint. We've used another security provider before but at another house, and I like Frontpoint a lot better. I did the installation myself and it took me no time at all. It was very simple versus paying somebody to install the exact same type of equipment and paying an installation fee. I have two wireless cameras and I have the light thing, but it doesn't work. It's the second one I'm on. The first one didn't work and this one stopped working, but I just haven't had time to mess with it. I've also had a problem with a camera that had to be replaced.     It's been almost a year since we had Frontpoint and it's been a great experience. We wanted our front and back doors protected but our main focus was our autos. We had moved into a new home and got the wired cameras right at the time when Frontpoint was changing over to the wireless cameras. However, we had not installed them at the time it happened and they've been broken into but it was not Frontpoint's fault.

    The ability to be able to check in on my home when I'm away is one of the top features for me. I really like that. My sister and I do quite a bit of traveling. Our work schedules are weird, we seem to never be home. Having that ability gives us a sense of calm because we have immediate access to the system and what's happening around the house. It's also nice to be able to speak to someone because so many things are computer generated or someone has to go through 6 or 7 prompts in order to get to where they needed to get to. At times it can be time consuming and frustrating for the consumer. At Frontpoint, when I need to speak with someone, I'm always able to get technical assistance and that is really important to me.

    A lot of our interactions with them was to become more familiar with the system itself. When setting up recording schedules, we found that we were reaching our upload limit rapidly. I called back and they were able to help me with what we could do to cut down on or eliminate some things that would lessen so many video clips on our upload limitations. The primary reason that we got our upload limits so rapidly is that where we live and where the cars are located, it tends to be a busy street. It was catching not only our street but the corner street as well. We narrowed that down which helped lessen the trigger of the cameras. I'm waiting to see where we are and if we reached the 16000 upload limit because we need to go back in and revisit that. The team has really been excellent working with us so we can fine tune the system to be workable for us. I have recommended them to my friends.

    Frontpoint is an excellent company. We've had them as a security provider for our barndominium, which is far out in the country and half away from our home, for three months now. Their device is easy to install and consumer friendly. When we ordered everything from them, we had a very good response and we were able to send back the little monitors we ordered because we can’t use them as we don’t have internet on that place. And so far, we don't have problems with any of the equipment. Also, everyone from their team has been helpful when we call. They were very good and able to answer my queries.

    Since we can't visit our barn everyday, it's nice that we can look on our phone to see if Frontpoint system is still activated or not. It gives us a little bit of security and peace of mind to know that it is still armed and no one has opened a door to set it off. However, we wish that we could get internet service in that place so that we can do the wireless camera (and have video monitors) and use the system to its full potential, wherein we can go on the internet and do our updates that way. But other than that, we liked our experience with Frontpoint and we'd recommend them.

    I’m very happy with Frontpoint, our first security provider. A family member have used them before and recommended them to us, and now we've had Frontpoint for 2 years. They have a very easy and user-friendly website. Their customer service is amazing. We've set up several things and every time we talked to them on the phone, they’re just phenomenal as far as walking you through anything. They’re really good.

    We've had some issues in the beginning that was sorted out eventually because when they shipped our original system, the boxes have been cut open. They shipped another set but it was opened just the same. I got irritated that I wanted it cancelled instead. It’s good that they have a flawless customer service who we worked with and settled the problem. It turned out that they opened those boxes when they get them to check all the systems.

    Frontpoint had a better technology package than others in terms of access through mobile phone and it's been 90 days since I've started using them. I have cameras and locks through them which was very easy to set up. I was also really pleasantly surprised and pleased with how their staff assisted me. The manager definitely was working with me. I had a weird issue with my own house where I might have required two systems but they didn't try to push me to do that.     I have Frontpoint for about six months now. I've used its automated lights feature, but only when I'm not in the house. For instance, if I go on vacation, it'll be nice to control my lights. But that feature is one of those things for $50 that I thought I shouldn't have bought because I don't use it often and I can buy a $5 timer at Home Depot to do the same thing. On the other hand, the device is easy to set up and has the monitored smoke alarm, which is my top priority when it comes to protection. And the Frontpoint people have all been great.

    We have an extra home in Tennessee and we needed security while we're not there so we got Frontpoint. They've all been very helpful. When we set it off on purpose, the man on the phone was very adamant at the fact that I had to say over and over again that everything was okay. Even though I gave him the password, he kept saying, "Ma'am, are you sure everything is okay?" I was surprised that they asked many times which is a good thing. I said, "Yes, everything is fine. My husband set it off accidentally." I totally appreciated it and it wasn't annoying. If somebody was holding a gun to my head, I have to say yes many times as well. The only frustration was they didn't explain to us that we would need internet hook-up to use the cameras. We're not there so there's no sense paying for internet hook-up. Other than that, setting it up was relatively easy - hook it up, turn it on, and it's there.

    I won't be happy with anybody else aside from Frontpoint because I don't like those hardwired systems that run all through my house. I hate them with passion. That's why I like the wireless technology of Frontpoint - that's number one in my books. The only glitch I had with them was regarding a promotional deal which was resolved in the end. When three parties are involved (Amazon, Angie's List and Frontpoint), things can get muddied. That's why the office that handles promotions needs to have more pep in their step because their communication with each other is broken. If you’re going to have promotions, make sure it’s solid and that the customer is aware of what delivery method is going to be used.

    I purchased Frontpoint and was supposed to get a $100 Amazon card within a certain time frame. In my mind, I was going to get an Amazon card in the mail, but it was sent through email instead and beyond the time frame. I was to receive a code, but I didn't know that and never got any feedback. I wasn't happy with that but not to cancel Frontpoint if they weren't going to make this right - I understood that I have a three-year locked in contract with them. I gave them the benefit of the doubt because I was having alarms go off and getting called right away. Every time I’ve had questions, everybody’s been very professional. They also made it right by crediting my credit card which I was fine with. Those factors offset it.

    Another thing is when you get the wireless system, you’re not penalized for having somebody come into your house and do an inspection. With that, the cost would be incurred by the consumer. I’m fine with that, but it would be nice to have somebody from the company at times come and look at the house and try to make suggestions after checking it. However, they do a good job of figuring out how to help those that may not be very eloquent and upfront with their words. - I’ve had a difficult time myself explaining the situation and what I’m experiencing. All in all, it's been good with Frontpoint. Interaction with them, isolating them from all other entities, has been very professional. I’ve had no issues and they’ve been responsive so I’m happy with them.
