Bought a Frigidaire Gas Range and a Frigidaire Refrigerator. The stove failed after 1 year two months. The refrigerator fails after 1 year 4 months. Both were control board issues. Frigidaire does not stand behind their products.

I bought a refrigerator in 2024 and in 9 months it was broke. Still under factory warranty I called and they said they would send a repair man out. He was a no show, I called back and asked for a different repair man and I was told they didn't have anyone else. The repair man came a week later and said he had to order 3 parts. I wait 2 weeks and call to check on when it would be fixed, no answer. Called again, left a VM. Two weeks later I never heard back and I called the warranty company back. I'm told they have to find a different server to repair the refrigerator. Funny how I was told a month earlier that it wasn't an option. It's been 2 months waiting on this company to fix their poor quality products. I'm tired of calling and being put off every week, I'm a single mother to two children and it's obvious this company doesn't care their products can't even last the full first year. I've never had such poor customer service in all my life.

Today is the third day I have taken off of work for delivery of a double wall oven. And for the third time, the unit has been badly damaged and unacceptable. Use caution with this unit GCWD3067AF. If it is damaged externally, what do the internal components look like?

Please do NOT buy a Frigidaire product. If I could give a negative rating I would. Poorly made and even worse customer service. After 2 visits, the ice maker cranks out a whopping 4 small cubes every cycle. The product is only 4 months old. Tempted to sell at a loss and buy something that works.

If I could give no stars I would. I ordered this stove on September 25th. Today October 1 I have not heard one thing from them. I called yesterday and was told it would be delivered today. Today came. Still nothing. I called today. Now it's in transit. I canceled it today and reordered with Lowe's. I will have my stove tomorrow.

I recently bought a refrigerator for my apt. I bought it at home depot. Within a 2 months the brand new fridge was giving problems, I had to call customer service and it took them 2 weeks to get a service tech to get it fixed, the freezer wasn't freezing. It was covered by warranty for 1 year. Then 4 months later the whole entire fridge is not working. It's been a month and I haven't had a working refrigerator or freezer, all my food spoiled and I've been having to buy food on the daily. It's been a so bad, an they do not cover food loss. Customer service has been so bad, I even had the tech tell me to let them know to schedule the appointment for the correct amount of hours that it will take for him to finish his job, I've never had to do this a customer.
I called and now this is the 5th time they rescheduled me due to lack of communication on behalf of the tech and the customer service reps even though I have done my part as a customer. Today is 9/30/2025 and they will not be coming to fix everything till 10/08/2025, I haven't had a working fridge since 9/05/2025. That's how long its taking them and all they can say is they apologize but everything has been their fault. Every time I have to call to follow up and confirm and they keep stalling my appointment date.

Top freezer refrigerator worked only 6 months, and it is a hassle to talk to Customer Service. They are taught to stall the process of repair and replacement, giving promises of "getting back," but never do, no promised e-mails from supervisor.. 50 days of dealing them with with no hope for resolution. And no fridge in Texas heat. Wish I never started the warranty process and just got refrigerator from different company.

I bought our Frigidaire refrigerator 10 months ago so still under warranty. It went out 25 days ago. Local authorized tech deemed it not repairable. Customer Service (which is in the Philippines) has sent him out 4 times now. They have also given me appointments with companies that do not service my area. Cannot talk with a supervisor or manager. Very poor English, squawking chickens, barking dogs. 25 days now without a refrigerator. Tech support has said someone will contact me. Customer Service says no one has contacted Tech Support. Today I was given another service appointment with the local technician who has been out 4 times. I call daily and continue to submit negative satisfaction surveys. I have never been contacted by anyone from Frigidaire. 3 weeks without a working refrigerator.

If I could give them a zero I would. I have a house full of their appliances but I will never purchase another product from them. They don’t warranty their products. They call them accessories. You purchase an appliance. On day one it doesn’t work. You call and speak to someone that doesn’t speak English and can’t help. Horrible experience. I will never purchase from them again. They refuse to honor their products warranty.

I bought FFFU13F2V and after 3.5 years the compressor failed. The cost of a compressor is nearly as much as a new freezer. It is shameful that Frigidaire cannot manufacture a product of sufficient quality to last more than 3 years.

Warranty is nearly impossible to get processed - Months waiting and no resolution. You can call every day get someone different and go absolutely nowhere - this is by design. Send all documentation: Report to the FTC: This federal agency investigates fraudulent business practices, including warranty scams. Report to the FCC: The FCC handles complaints about illegal robocalls and telemarketing practices often used in warranty fraud schemes. Report to your State Attorney General: This is a good step to take because state governments often have consumer protection agencies that can investigate and take action against companies engaging in fraud within their jurisdiction. Gather evidence: Collect any documentation, such as letters, emails, or call records, that shows the fraudulent activity.

I regret buying the Frigidaire dehumidifier. It worked well for a few months, then started making loud crackling noises and leaking water. The water tank design is awkward and leaks occasionally. Customer service was unhelpful, offering little support beyond basic troubleshooting. For the price, I expected more reliability. It’s frustrating to rely on a product that fails so quickly. I won’t be purchasing another Frigidaire appliance anytime soon. Very disappointing experience. Do not buy a FFAD5033W1 Dehumidifier...

I have been waiting since July 21st, 2025 for the replacement to be approved for a knob that fell off. They have to replace it because there are "no technicians in our area." My item is under warranty, but it's not being repaired or replaced. It's always "call back in 3 days."

All Frigidaire does is send letter after letter trying make us purchase "service protection" which tells us, they have no confidence in their own brand and are just making money off "service protection" rents. There was a time, not long ago that an appliance brand claimed their service people were bored and had nothing to do because their brand was so reliable, it never broke down. Frigidaire's strategy is opposite--break down as often as possible in order to garner SERVICE RENTS. SHAMEFUL. DO NOT BUY.

I bought a refrigerator last December and it’s already broken for over a week. Waiting for another part that can take another week. Magesty the company in charge of repairs only works Monday through Friday. Don’t answer the phone most of the times. Costumer service for Frigidaire is a joke. Offered me $50 for the inconvenience. My mother is 84, blind and diabetic and relies on her refrigerator for her medications and for her food that she needs to keep her sugar under control. She has lost everything in her fridge/freezer so has been surviving on whatever she can find in her kitchen and has been struggling to keep her insulin cold. She has been waiting for over a week to get her refrigerator fixed which has been "escalated" and we were just told to quit calling because they were already working on it. I would NEVER buy another product from Frigidaire.

Frigidaire customer service is horrible. My oven range has not held temp since I bought it. Now that it needs to be replaced after sending 3 different technicians, customer service has been escalating this matter for over a month (supposed to have only been 7 days) to their "replacement team," whom you have no way of communicating with, won't fix the problem. Poor product and poor customer service.

I am regret didn’t read the reviews before making the purchase. My refrigerator still under warranty, and they are not be able to send the technicians out to do the repair. Every-time I call they create a ticket number and make appointment and nobody come out do the service. This company is a joke! You can’t escalate to a supervisor or manager so you are left with no choice of any kind. Equipment and services are craps, DO NOT BUY!!!

Horrible customer service. Oven glass shattered for no reason at all. Not in use. Less than a year and they will not cover it. It’s a manufactured defect as well as they are under a class action lawsuit for this reason. Do not buy any Frigidaire product!!

I bought a house with brand new appliances and registered them right away because their site says you can use your closing date. About 3 months in, we stop gaslighting ourselves that the amount of air coming out is normal and get a service appointment. That was a mess itself because the only servicer was 2.5 hours away and he acted like that was my fault. I should have realized that it was an indication that no one closer was willing to work with Frigidaire. But the guy finally looks at our fridge and says it's a faulty seal and opens a ticket with them.
This is where things go downhill. I get an email asking for my receipt, I tell them it came with the house. They ask for my closing documents and a photo of the serial number. I send the serial number photo and ask for which document specifically because I'm not sending everything to them. They ghost and I email several times. About 3 weeks in, I do a chat on their website, it took over an hour to get anyone to even talk to me, spent an hour trying to get specifically what was needed.
Finally find a screenshot that will work and am told that I have to reply to the original email. I do that, asking them to confirm receipt, again, no response for a couple weeks (listen, I am busy, I give them the benefit of the doubt that they are busy, and they have similar business hours to me so it was hard to follow up outside of email.) So I do another chat. Similar experience, they didn't have the right document but when I asked what was missing, suddenly everything was there and they were going to expedite it.
Two more weeks and nothing. So I call. This person is shocked that it had been about 6 weeks and says everything looks right and the "back office" is going to review it, she showed her supervisor and they will expedite it. I ask for a direct number to the back office or the supervisor and am told that they don't even have direct numbers. She tells me to make sure I am check my spam even though she confirmed that they hadn't contacted me in 6 weeks. This took about 45 minutes.10 days later and I call again and she starts by saying they are still waiting on my closing documents, which I told her I sent and she's suddenly finds them. She puts me on hold a few times and I admit I get really frustrated with her because she tells me the closing documents don't work but can't tell me what would. She comes back the first time and tells me that the document needs a closing date and the seller's name.
I tell her that I am looking at what I sent and they are both there. She puts me on hold and comes back a second time and tells me that they need the seller to contact them but won't tell me what they need from him. Now, the long and short of it is that guy will never call to help us. I tried to explain that and she says that the document says he owned the house before us and that means the warranty has been deemed unusable. There's more back and forth, more asking why no one has asked for the right info or why no one has contacted me ("Ma'am, I am telling you right now."), eventually I hang up because she's just going in circles with me.
So I take a minute because I know I just got really mad at someone who has no actual control and then I do another chat so that I can get a record of their answer. Another hour is spent trying to understand why they are saying my warranty is voided when I am the person who registered the refrigerator. She contradicted herself several times, said I am not the original owner even though I am the first owner of the house. I asked if I had bought a 20-year-old house with new appliances, if they would honor the warranty and she said yes but when I asked how this is different, it's because I am not the original owner. "The closing documents don't lie" is a direct quote.
I asked how I can prove I am the original owner and she says I need a builder's contract which I don't have because I didn't build the house, I bought a new build after completion. I asked why any of that matters, they had to have a system of tracking serial numbers and they would know when it was purchased and she didn't respond to that. Again, going in circles as to why they were denying my claim on a defective unit and that it was my lack of proof of purchase, not that they were not standing behind their product.
So. Learn from all of these 1-star reviews and avoid Frigidaire. They clearly sell garbage appliances or they wouldn't even have this many complaints because none of us would know how bad their customer service is if we weren't all getting run around in circles for months, only to be denied in the end. Also, don't be fooled by houses having "brand new appliances" in their listings as a good thing because the warranty may or may not transfer--I still don't know because she didn't keep a straight answer.

The brought new stove and refrigerator and both items and issues. If you try to get them repaired via the manufacturer it's a waste of time. They don't take responsibility and take their time. They use a third party from customer service to repair and they don't know what's going on. I don't expect this company to last. Another few years they will go out of business.!!

Placed order to be delivered on 8/14/25; on 8/12/25 at 3:23pm they emailed that, "Oops thank you for understanding but that item is back ordered 6 weeks"; even that is worded clearly stating that could change! We responded "Sorry we do not understand. We have a side of beef being delivered on 8/15 and we fully expect that freezer or one comparable to be delivered." Absolutely ZERO customer service. They have the same freezer in stainless that the can ship to remedy the situation but they do not respond. I have everything in writing and am submitting a claim. Every email they responded to was worded in a way to make it seem the issue had been addressed; I responded to each one making it clear nothing had been resolved. Buyer beware!

If I could rate this 0 I would! I purchased a dehumidifier that only worked for 1 month. Spoke with customer service to file a claim. Each time I call customer service to find out the status of my claim they keep saying call back. I sent a text to the CEO and he never responded. This has been going on almost two months! I have now filed a report with the Better Business Bureau for assistance. I'll let everyone I know including social media friends that Frigidaire will not honor their warranty!!!

Ordered three new Frigidaire appliances from Lowe's. Oven light hasn't worked since it got here. I call customer service for a new bulb. They say it's an accessory and not covered under the warranty. They charge me $30 for a new bulb and then take a week sending me the wrong one (even after I gave them the vin number on the unit so they would get it right).

What a scam. Parts are discontinued before the appliance is 6 years old!! I have a Frigidaire dishwasher, purchased in 2019, and I am told it needs a part that Frigidaire no longer manufactures, so I have to buy a new dishwasher. It is unacceptable to discontinue parts after only 6 years. Customer service was a nightmare. Why can't they add substitute parts?

We have a 6 year old Frigidaire oven and during the night (when the oven had not been used in over 24 hours), the tempered glass oven door exploded! We thought someone was breaking into the house. I am now learning this happens quite often and there should be a recall but there is not!!

I purchased this dishwasher and scheduled delivery + installation, but Frigidaire refused to deliver it. The delivery team called the day of to reschedule my delivery because they wanted to use a smaller truck, which was frustrating but ultimately okay. I then received an email saying my purchase had been refunded, so I called Frigidaire customer support asking what happened. They said they would check with the delivery team and call me back. They never called me back but instead sent an email saying the following: "We wanted to inform you that the delivery team was unable to complete your delivery as scheduled due to truck size limitations—they currently do not have access to a smaller vehicle that can accommodate your location."
Not sure what they mean by "can't accommodate your location." I live in a suburb of a major U.S. city (not a remote area) that is easily accessible by delivery trucks. We and our neighbor have items delivered all the time, including major appliances, furniture, and items much larger than a dishwasher. Our street can more than accommodate a typical delivery truck. I responded to their email asking clarifying questions and requesting a callback, as they previously promised. No response. Complete disappointment. Would never buy from Frigidaire again for any of my properties.

First off let me start by saying the price point is what caught my eye when purchasing and at this point I regret it every single day. We bought all the appliances for our kitchen. The first day we had our refrigerator it froze everything in it. The dishwasher works good and the microwave is ok at best. The oven has the worst temperature control I’ve ever seen. We got a new fridge under the Home Depot warranty and just over a year now and the water dispenser is leaking to a point of leaving a glass inside the door to catch the water. Called and was told since it’s out of warranty we are stuck with the bill but since we got a new fridge the was under a year we thought it would be covered but they went by the purchase date so now I’m stuck. Will never buy these products again. Worse decision I’ve made.

Could not have been more disappointed in Electrolux' service. Communication between your third party techs and Electrolux techs cost me much more time with a down refrigerator. Also when purchasing the "Fixed Price" option for $550 (597.44 w/ tax) I would suggest you mention at that time any built in appliance would have trim removed, pulled out of the wall and at completion reinstalled into wall all by the paying customer.

I’m posting this to warn others against purchasing Frigidaire products. Their customer service is nonexistent if you have an issue. They require 3 attempts at fixing your defective product before they will even consider replacement. Each repair attempt adds at least 2 weeks to your wait time. I’m currently without a refrigerator for over 2 weeks and no help whatsoever from them. The fridge died 30 days after delivery and hasn’t worked at all since. They dispatched the same repair company twice even though that repair company told me flat out they could not fix the product. Their service is outsourced to India and does not care one bit about the customer. I will never buy another Frigidaire nor Electrolux product.

I don’t have an issue with my purchase I have an issue with customer service and not following through or following up with customers. I purchased a Frigidaire stove and I ordered a part that I needed due to damage. I ordered May 4/25 was told it would arrive June 1/25 (after talking to 2 different agent and leaving my information). I did not receive any tracking info or email about the product. June came no information, no part, I call again and they have no information on this matter although the money was taken off my credit card.
2 agent later I was told that part was not available until Dec/25 if at all. I asked for my money back and was told 7 to 10 business day that was in June/25.. It’s now July 16 and nothing, no return on my credit card. I call again and waited 29 mins for them to go over my file and they still didn’t have my email address which I gave to 4 now 5 different agents. I’ll never purchase from Frigidaire again because of this poor customer service and lack of communication

Extended "Fixed Rate Repair" Service agreement is a SCAM. We purchased and paid for this policy on 3/30/2025. We have had 3 technicians come to our home, order parts, and no repair yet. Multiple "no shows" by technicians. Made at least 8 calls to customer service requesting a refund of the $351.81 policy (all parts + labor) and was told I would get refund for the lack of execution or resolving the problem. Most recent call to Philippines' Call Center for Extended Repair, "Joef" indicated they had a problem with New SF that did not capture parts order. I told him I think this was a scam, and he acknowledged, "I agree with you".
When I continued to press for a full refund, he said they would have to deduct a service call fee of $125 (which was supposedly included in the "Fixed Rate Repair Policy". Finally, he indicated they could no longer refund any amount to the credit card charged, instead, I would have to take additional action to request a "refund card". Net Net...Do not purchase an appliance or extended warranty. I will be contacting an attorney for a small claim service, and will be purchasing another product.

Worst Products ever and Worst customer service ever, their supervisors are always in meeting and never come on the phone. Bought a French door refrigerator on June 5, it worked for 2 days and since then there is no power, I am been trying to reach them back and forth but no response all they say is deal with their 3rd party and when the 3rd party tech arrives he states that the control board is bad and needs a replacement for which the part will take 2 weeks to arrive and then they will call to check when they have appointment available.
Called the company that it's a brand new refrigerator why will I take a replacement part, why don't they change the whole refrigerator but they will keep pushing you that this is their procedure then why the hell buy the product which blows off in 2 days. 1 Star is also way too much. Please do not buy this company's products. They steal your money and then they don't care what you will go through. If someone is viewing these comments from Consumer Affairs please shut down these kind of companies that steal people's money

This review is for "Frigidaire 5304507200 Door Gasket for Freezers, White.” When I received this product, the lower left corner of the gasket seemed to have been melted into a wad (see attached photo). It still seemed to work and was needed immediately to preserve hundreds of dollars of frozen food. So I left it in place. However, after only 10 months it failed (leaks causing ice buildup and an appliance alarm). Unhappily (and unbelievably), when I contacted Frigidaire I discovered that their parts warranties are based on the warranty status of the appliance (expired in my case), not on the purchased part product. I asked them to reconsider and sent the photo of what I had received. The support rep promised a return call the next day which never came. I called them again and they simply said no replacement would be sent. To say I was surprised at Frigidaire's response would be an understatement.

My first fridge lasted 20 years. I got a Whirlpool and it broke in 3 years! I was so disappointed. So I decided to get a newer model of my older fridge. I’m so happy with my new fridge. It looks more modern but the reliability is still the same, excellent! If you want a solid fridge that’s reliable and looks great, look no further than.

I bought a portable air conditioner from P.C. Richard & Son two years ago. I extended my warranty for five years last month. The AC unit broke down during the heat wave. I have been in contact with Frigidaire for the last week and a half to two weeks. I did all the paperwork required and they still can’t give me a definitive answer if I’m definitely getting the unit or not they keep giving me the runaround. They keep saying I’m going to get an email and I haven’t gotten any yet. Then they said it’s being processed through the back office and when I asked to speak with the back office, they told me that they didn’t have their number. So I’m being told I won’t receive it for another 2 to 3 weeks.
Meanwhile, it’s so hot in my apartment that I’m overheating. I need 3 to 4 fans on me being that it’s 85°. I haven’t had a good night sleep since this happened. I’m losing faith in this process that I’m going to get a replacement. If I don’t receive an email by the end of the week, going to follow a complaint with the Better Business Bureau.

Bought this refrigerator at Lowe's in 9/24. 9 months later I am back to where I was before with my 17 year old refrigerator, broken down. I paid $961 with the optional ice maker. Now 10 days later I am still dealing with their open ticket for a repair company to come out and repair it. Terrible support and terrible quality. I will end up having to buy another refrigerator just so I can start storing food in a refrigerator instead of a cooler. I feel like I'm camping out here!!! Stay far away from Electrolux brands.

I would give zero stars if it were possible. We have a Frigidaire Professional Induction Cooktop. We have owned it for 7 months and it has needed parts replaced so many times that we have only gotten 1 month of use out of it. Most recently, we have been waiting on a repair for 3 months without a working cooktop. They keep ordering and trying different parts. Last time the technician was advised by Frigidaire to order 6 more parts to try! One of them has not arrived yet, it was "in stock and ordered with expedited shipping" 3 weeks ago.
I have checked in with customer service several times and no one seems to be able to give me a timeframe or tracking on the part. The customer service representative just give me canned answers clearly designed to get me off the line and just keep telling me to continue waiting and that they have no information. At this point I am not confident this part will ever arrive or this repair will ever happen. Cost-wise Frigidaire certainly could have replaced this cooktop several times over given the number of repairs that have had to happen and parts that have needed replacing. I've never experienced anything like this before.

I am very happy with my FRIGIDAIRE FAFS4272LW Washer. I have it for over 25 years and it recently broke down and I have been searching all over willing to pay a higher price for it because I already have a built-in cabinet for both the Frigidaire washer and the dryer. Unfortunately, this washer was discontinued and I am very disappointed. The product has excellent reviews on all the websites. Why the company stop making this machine??? I guess I am going to get it repaired since I can't find any washer that have the dimensions: 36 inches in height, 27 inches in width, and 31 inches in depth

Customer service hell. Three weeks of no working refrigerator. 10+ hours on the phone. Mean and unhelpful customer service agents, untruths, scheduling nightmares, long waits, referred to a nonexistent local company with nonworking numbers and no one ever showed up, "rescheduled" with a different company for the next Saturday, called the company and they said they don't do Saturdays and had no spots for weeks out... The person who finally came (From a great local company) diagnosed and fixed the problem in 5 minutes.

I have my refrigerator for 2 months!! It started making a loud motorized noise that progressively got work over a few days. It's still under warranty so they schedule a technician to come out who could not diagnose an issue. He reset the refrigerator and said he would call in a week. Before the week was out, the motorized noise was back. I call to get a replacement and the first customer service agent lied to me and said that there was no report from the tech. The second customer service agent said that the report didn't state that it was needing replacement so they have forced me to wait another TWO DAYS while my refrigerator coolant is diminishing to have ANOTHER tech come out to do the same thing! I told them we lost over $500 worth of food the first time and had to store what we could in coolers.
After my third call, I'm told they they must get a second opinion and therefore scheduled me with a servicer this Friday between 12-5p. I get a call from the original service provider saying they had assigned him the job AGAIN and that he declined it because he did all that he could do and that need to replace the appliance. I call BACK and tell them that they scheduled the same person to come out for this "second opinion" that they so desperately need and was told that the "back office" was working to get it rescheduled. I told them if they were not able to schedule someone for the same date/time that was originally scheduled, not to bother. It's not my fault they have no other service providers in the area!!!
He told me it would take 48-72 BUSINESS DAYS to get it reassigned. ABSOLUTELY NOT! We are currently working to get the same guy out to write another report justifying the replacement. MEANWHILE, my ice maker is leaking on the floor and causing damage to the wood floors and we now have to remove ALL of our food for the 2nd time and hope to be able to salvage it in coolers filled with ice. I am LIVID!!! I will never buy a Frigidaire and since I work in marketing and have over 10 years of award winning marketing campaigns, I will put my skills to work to make sure people know how horrible Frigidaire's customer service and products are!!!

We purchased a refrigerator Nov. 3, 2024 & have a one year warranty. Mon June 17, woke up to a totally defrosted fridg. With loss of meat in freezer and some stuff fridge. Contacted customer service sent someone out thankfully same day. Asked if they would make good for food. Said we would have to have extended warranty to pay for food. Even though we still have 1 year warranty. Fridge is 6 months. You shouldn't have to get extended warranty to cover food in this case when still under warranty. Guy who came didn't understand English. Had to write down on phone what he wanted me to know. Unbelievable. Said defrost timer is common issue. If this case and they know it I feel they should replace our food loss. I sure hope CEO sees this review. I tried email him but doesn't have a email I can get thru.

Frigidaire Professional Series dishwasher is a complete piece of garbage. We had a brand new one installed in our house in March of 2024. After only 3 months it broke and needed to be repaired. The service man fixed the issue and said that he would not doubt it if it was broken again soon. Not even 8 months later. Broke again, same issue. Frigidaire won’t stand behind their faulty product. Embarrassing customer service. Will not be purchasing anything from them in the future.

Purchased a stainless steel side by side refrigerator a year and a half ago. After 6 months it rusted. They wouldn't fix or replace and said it was my fault and cosmetic and didn't need to be repaired. At 8 months the refrigerator started beeping and beeped for 5 days straight. The warranty repair said it would be 2 weeks for someone to come look at it. Now at a year and a half it's not cold or freezing and needs repaired again. They claim was it would last at least 15 years. This is junk. Shame on this company. Their customers service is rude and not helpful at all. This whole company is a big scam. DON'T BUY FRIDGIDAIRE.

The Frigidaire Gallery 30" Rear Control Electric Range is poorly built and died at 6 months. Technically I called at 3.5 months asking about the convection fan, which sounded excessively loud and could be heard everywhere in my house. I was told this was a "common known issue". At 5 months I started getting errors. I was advised to reset the stove by turning off the breaker. At 6 months, it died completely. Service tried to give me an appointment almost 2 weeks out which I refused to agree to, they magically found an appointment in 2 days. At this point, I will never buy another Frigidaire, if the product is so poorly built that is cannot last 6 months, it is not worth the money. Buyer Beware, Don't Buy Frigidaire!

I purchased a high-end Frigidaire refrigerator and matching freezer as part of a home remodel. Within two years, the refrigerator failed. Frigidaire agreed to cover parts, and I paid over $600 in labor to repair it. Two years later, it failed again. I paid $588 for a “fixed rate repair” expecting a full diagnostic and fix, but after minimal inspection, the technician claimed it was irreparable due to a suspected leak in the Yoder loop—without performing proper pressure or leak testing. A second technician later confirmed the actual leak was in the evaporator coil, which is repairable. Frigidaire’s support and repair process have been deeply disappointing and unprofessional.

I had a defective fridge deliver. Day 1 (4/29/25) I had 2 techs come out and agree it can’t be fixed (they sent the techs). It’s now 6/6 and I’m still back and forth with the worst customer service team on getting a new fridge. My ticket has been with the “back office” for review since 5/12 but you aren’t allowed to talk to them or a manager. Horrible experience

The part I needed was not listed online so I called Frigidaire customer service and was told by AI that the weight would be very long. Would I like a call back and I would not lose my place in line? The call back came 2 hours later but I ordered the part but the employee misspelled the name of my street and FedEx was unable to deliver it. Frigidaire did reach out to FedEx and give them the correct spelling, but when FedEx came into my apartment complex they made a delivery attempt at the wrong building.
Our buildings do have addresses on them and each building has a different address. I tried to call FedEx to give him the correct address and because I didn't have the ticket number on the delivery attempt they wouldn't transfer me to a human. The next day I got an email saying they had left the package in front of my door. So I had to go to other buildings in my complex and look for it. I did find it but what an ordeal. I will say when I called Frigidaire to tell them about the misspelled street name again. They told me they would call me back and this time it took 4 and 1/2 hours for them to reach out to me. Totally unacceptable.

Do not waste your money on a Frigidaire refrigerator. Mine stopped working after just 6 months, and dealing with their warranty service has been a nightmare. I was hung up on multiple times, spoken to rudely, and treated with zero empathy or urgency. Because of their delays and incompetence, I lost all of my groceries—including expensive insulin and medication that require refrigeration. That alone should be unacceptable, but they offered no real solution. Now I’m forced to spend money I don’t have on a new refrigerator. Frigidaire has shown they do not stand behind their products or care about their customers. Learn from my experience—stay far away from this brand unless you’re ready to deal with stress, loss, and total indifference.

We bought out Frigidaire Gallery fridge in April of 2024. Icemaker stopped working in December 2024. I placed my first call to customer service in January 2025. It is now the end of May. Repair people have been here a countless amount of times. Our fridge no longer works at all! We’ve had an unworking fridge in our kitchen for 5 weeks. No sense of urgency to have it fixed by them.
Fridge no longer under warranty but since we called well before the warranty was out, it’s covered. Customer service said we need to buy extended warranty because they take care of those customers first. Obviously, not true since our fridge was still under warranty when our icemaker broke. Then icemaker started leaking and apparently blew out circuits in the control board. Customer service completely sucks. My guess is that they want to make you wait it out so long that you buy a new fridge. I will NEVER buy another Frigidaire after this experience. NEVER! The Better Business Bureau will be our next call if the fridge is not fixed within 2 weeks.

My dishwasher broke within a month and they looked for any reason to not cover it because the motherboard on it fried and almost burned my house down. They said it’s because of mice. We live in an old house so twice a year we get a few. We have cats and such. There was not a single chew mark or anything on the wires or dishwasher. They still deny the warranty claim.

We purchased a new Refrigerator at Lowe's less than a year ago, still under warranty. Two weeks ago, the refrigerator portion stopped working. I contacted Frigidaire to get this repaired/replaced as soon as possible so that we could keep food in our home. I see a lot of similar accounts on here so I see that it is not a one off problem. Customer Service states that the soonest that they can get a tech out is 10 days! So, we have no food in the house for 10 days. I guess that does not really bother them as I just kept being told, "nothing we can do". I asked if there was a way for them to deliver a new unit and take the old one away as we needed to be able to have food for the family in the house. Again, "nothing we can do".
Fast forward to today (05/19/25), the day of our scheduled appointment. My wife left work early to be at home for a tech to come. I just received a call that they need to reschedule, "nothing they can do". Now have rescheduled for 05/29/25?! Are you kidding me? 3 weeks with no food in the house? What kind of customer service is this? Totally unacceptable. I would like someone to contact me and offer a resolution today, however I am not banking on any support here. Have never been treated so poorly by a company/customer service. Sad coming from such a well known brand.

Will never buy this brand again due to the way they handle repairs. My fridge is less than a year old. The ice maker stopped working. I was still under warranty so I called the company. On hold for over an hour. Finally I get a human and they schedule my appointment. They didn’t say it’s an estimated arrival cuz they have to check with the repair company. Luckily the repair company can squeeze me in. They come out and diagnose the issue. Frigidaire refuses to believe them and want to sent out another company. I said no! I can’t keep taking days off. Luckily the repair team worked with he and sent out their manager to look at the fridge again. They came out yet again 2 days later to fix it. I thought that was the end.
I get an email saying Frigidaire is coming out on a day next week without checking with me. I cancel that appointment cuz the problem is fixed. I then get computers calling me saying they are still coming. I tell them yet again no. So who shows up at my door? A Frigidaire repair guy. I told him and showed him I canceled. He still wants pictures. I allow it cuz luckily I’m home. I tell him it’s fixed. Hopefully that’s the end of it. But then I get another email saying they are coming out yet again in a day they did not discuss with me. I canceled that and tried to call as bad confirm it. The wait time is 72 min on the phone. I’m thinking about billing them for my time now.

This review is for a dehumidifier model FFAD6023W1 that was purchased 6/21/24. The unit did a great job until 11/01/24 when it no longer removed any moisture. Only the fan would run. Started the warranty process on 11/19/24 with all documents sent by 12/10/24. After a few phone conversations with customer service it is now 3/7/25 telling me that the claim is being processed with no results from a very poor warranty process. Sad to see another company using a well known name on an inferior imported product for large profits and horrible service. Frigidaire has lost another customer.

This was a terrible customer experience with potentially dangerous repercussions to my mother's safety. I made use of the chat box to confirm prior to ordering that the door could be made left hinge at the time of installation before ordering. I entered that request in the additional request box and I even confirmed with a speaking agent the Monday before delivery that they had that information on file (during that call I also added the request for a Certificate of insurance). I called again the day before delivery to ensure there was no issue as I had not received the COI by email and they confirmed both requests would be honored.
On delivery date, they didn't have the COI and they left the refrigerator right hinged at a significant safety risk to my elderly mother who, because of the narrow kitchen, now gets trapped every time she opens the door. I immediately called the service department asking for them to send someone with a repair kit, even willing to pay for it. I was told there was nothing they could or would do. Now I have to find an alternative solution and risk my mom getting injured or being unable to use the refrigerator until I do.

Frigidaire has caused me so much issue ordering from these guys. I picked Friday January 24 2025 to get my oven delivered. Took a day off and no call no show. I was very disappointed with how this went. Called into support and support tried to call the delivery guys. They did not answer and she had to email them. She got back to me and said they will deliver it Tuesday. Tuesday came and got a call from the delivery company, they told me the driver had an family emergency so it will have be deliver the next day. I was told I will be priority on Wednesday. Taking two days off already with no pay.
Wednesday came and now I waited till noon, still no call. I got into with the delivery company. They said the delivered guy did not read his note to put me as priority. Delivery guy did not come till 5:45pm. That was 3 days off. I tried to ask for a convenient fee and a lady name Nadiya denied it. It's been a horrible experience with Frigidaire. They are cheap and they use cheap unprofessional delivery guys. Just beware when you shop with them online.

They sent me the wrong door in the wrong color. Even after they said they had my exact door in stock. They don't even carry my exact door anymore being that it's 11 yrs old. The door they sent me doesn't match up to my oven but yet we put it on and made it work even though there are empty holes that don't match up. I was told I could get a refund without returning the wrong one. Since that was their mistake. I tried for over a month to get a refund when finally a corporate manager ok'd the refund. Still nothing. Had to dispute it on my credit card. They will lie, and lie, and lie. They must get these people out from up under rocks because they are the most incompetent people I've dealt with.

We have never bought such horrible products! I wish we would have looked at the reviews on this site before purchasing. Our microwave just had its own “electrical storm” and burned up on inside on the right and almost caught fire. I was heating up food in a Pyrex glass container and it happened within seconds. Our refrigerator freezes our vegetables and we had the parts replaced a couple months after we bought it. I don’t care that we have a warranty. We will start replacing everything with something reputable. We can never reach anyone at customer service anyways and when we finally did it took them 2 months to replace with new refrigerator parts. We have owned our appliances for only 2.5 years. Our dishwasher also looks burned at the bottom. The absolute worst products out there. Don’t waste your money, they deserve to be sued for selling such crap.

These are the worst appliances I have ever had in my life. I would never own one again, nor would I recommend them to anyone. Been waiting for a now for a service on a bad compressor to the refrigerator, which freezes everything and I have to throw it all out. They have now canceled us twice without even notifying us, plus we had to pay them $100 in advance of the appointment that we never had. We finally got through and asked to be refunded our money. We will see if they actually do that or not. The "upgraded" dishwasher is pathetic and leaves food all over the dishes. The top rack doesn't even clean anything you put on it. Stove is lousy also and has ruined two of my pans. Lousy, lousy, lousy products and company. Never again!

Frigidaire is one of the worst customer service I’ve ever worked with. I renting my home and the owner purchased me a new stove oven unit back on August 31. The stove top itself is working, but the oven will not work anymore. Contacted Frigidaire due to the fact, it’s still under manufacturer warranty that customer service representative A refused to help me and for over a half an hour I requested to speak with the supervisor. I informed I had the order number, but I don’t obtain the physical receipts. They requested me to provide them with my rental agreement with all my personal information which I did not give to them. What does my rental agreement have to do with my stove oven unit. I gave them the purchase date and the order number and they said that that wasn’t enough that they needed my rental agreement. Worst customer service I’ve ever dealt with.

I purchased my wall oven unit in September of 2023…. I used the self clean feature for the first time in early September 2024.. Something was burning because my house was filled with smoke, so I turned it off. 2 days later I tried using the oven and it wouldn’t work. I called Frigidaire to report the problem as I was within my year under the factory warranty. It is now December 18, 2024 and I am still waiting for this oven to get fixed!!! It has been a TOTAL nightmare dealing with these people!
All of the repair companies that they have sent to my house have told me they need 2 people to fix this oven as it is a wall oven, and Frigidaire kept sending me one repair guy… so in October I finally get someone who is willing to do the repair by himself, but I have had 2 failed attempts with this man, not including the first time he came out to diagnose the problem. He last came to my house on November 25, 2024, and there has been no communication on their part as to whether they have ordered the part or anything! Frigidaire says they need 3 failed attempts to fix my oven and then they can replace it…. I feel like I am a hostage to Frigidaire. I have had no oven for nearly 4 months… I paid almost $2000 for an oven that worked for a year.

Stay away from Frigidaire. While my dryer was under warranty it was repaired. Unfortunately, the warranty did expire but the repair guy left 2 screws off of the drum cover and then it started making a real ugly grinding noise. Thankfully I have a home warranty, went through my home warranty and that's when it was discovered That those schools were left off so that drum cover became loose and started grinding against the heating element. Frigidaire refused to make things right because of their technician at stake. I should be reimbursed for my a $125 co-pay, they however refused. I wish I would have saw these reviews prior to purchasing my range. I completely understand why they have 1 star. We bought a range over 2 months ago, right after install had an error code, made a warranty claim, they sent out a repair tech to diagnose, it took roughly 7 days to schedule, and they had to order a part which took 10 days. Made the repair, it worked for about a week, error came back. Tech ordered another part, another 10 day wait, came out and repaired, worked for about a week again, then got the error. Again, tech came out again ordered a part, repaired it, error came back. That repair company deemed the unit unrepairable. Rather than just recognize and accept the unit is a lemon, Frigidaire is doing everything they can to get out of replacing it and now hiring another separate repair company to try and fix it.
The customer service reps are all just policy parrots, there is no conversation, compassion, or even a rational thought out of their mouths. They just repeat what the policy is and will not do anything outside of that. Frigidaire needs to update their policies or at least make exceptions to them. I gave the company 3 tries to fix it and waited over 2 months for a working range, the last licensed tech determined it was unrepairable and yet they're still trying to get out of replacing their defective unit. Buyer beware.

Literally the WORST customer experience I’ve ever encountered. Waited at home for four hour windows for two appointments, techs never showed up and no one ever notified me that the appointments were cancelled. When I called to complain, they offered no explanation or apology. There are many other appliance options out there, and you should seriously consider them over anything Frigidaire has to offer because if it ever needs to be serviced, you will be miserable.

I hope anyone reading this never needs to schedule a service/maintenance call with Frigidaire. The last two days have been the most backwards customer experience in my life. For one simple dishwasher repair request I was charged three times. First charge, I was told was an error, yet I still see it on my credit card statement. Second charge was the wrong amount. Instead of amending the second amount, I was charged for the 3rd time. After providing my information, we received a message that the service call was cancelled. Now I am on call with my bank to reverse the charges. $600 later, no maintenance scheduled, and 5 hrs of calls, I am back to looking for a repair technician. The best part is this dishwasher is only 15 months old. My mistake for ever buying an appliance from this company. Lesson learned!!

Received my dehumidifier Sept 10 2024, blower stopped working and I noticed burning smell from unit less than 2 weeks after started using. Very disappointed. After spending 30-40 minutes on the phone with their customer service they said they would send me claim info via email, this did not happen. I then called back. Spent another 20 minutes on the phone. Finally received email and started claim. Hopefully I get a resolution soon.

We bought a refrigerator and it was defective from day 1. Frigidaire would not replace it and wanted us to wait 1 month for 2 parts to come in to repair it. Thank God Home Depot returned it and let us purchase a different one. We did not buy Frigidaire the 2nd time and would never buy this brand ever again. Stay away from this company, they will not take their product back. Brand new fridge needing 2 parts, ridiculous. If there was a zero that’s what I would select.

I have purchase 3 different Frigidaire countertop icemakers (at different times after each broke) and they all stopped working. Luckily I purchased the extended warranty and the first two were covered by that because it was past the one year manufacturer's warranty. BUT this last one stopped working after 6 months. Frigidaire has the WORST warranty company. First, I had to practically jump through hoops with all kinds of pictures, videos and explanations and then they wanted me to ship it at my cost. It cost me almost half the cost of the icemaker to ship it to them to see if it can be fixed, which is ridiculous! If it's broken then they should pay for shipping! When I do go to buy another icemaker, it WILL NOT be Frigidaire.

Customer service is the worst!! I have called 7 or more times and hung up on multiple of times!! One day I called I was placed on hold and someone came on the phone and said, "We closed..." Huh?? We have a 300 thousand home with cheap appliances (buyer's choice)!!! We have a rust issue on the front of our refrigerator, & was told it's not covered under warranty. Really?? Everyone I spoke with was from the Philippines. Very broken English and rude. I requested to speak with a manager. I was informed I couldn't. They were in a meeting and basically they can't help us and blamed the buyer on the storage of the appliances before they placed in my home...Ughhh really?? However, I continue to received emails and mail to renew my warranties on my appliances..Wth??

We purchased Frigidaire gallery appliances for our kitchen remodel in 2019. The appliances were purchased at Lowe’s. They all installed easily and initially worked however, we finally are taking the time to share our experience… The fridge is the loudest fridge ever when making ice. The left light on the door for the ice maker quit working after 6 months. The crisper drawer rollers broke after about a year. The dishwasher never dries the dishes. Even with jet dry. The microwave is now blowing fuses every few days which appears that the start capacitor is failing. The gas stove isn’t showing any issues yet. We are in our 50s with no children in the house. Our last fridge is in perfect condition in our garage after 20 years with kids. I’ve contacted Frigidaire with no success. DONT BUY FRIGIDAIRE!!!!

We bought Frigidaire Gallery Appliances thru Lowe's on the Buy more Save more program. (Range/Oven, Microwave, Dishwasher and Refrigerator). All of the appliances were delivered with damage except the Dishwasher. They do not box them well enough to prevent damage during shipment. We sent back the all damaged appliances and finally received undamaged equipment after weeks of waiting except for the refrigerator.
The Delivery Company delivered 4 damaged refrigerators before they pieced together one undamaged Frigerator from the two refrigerators onsite at my residence. I had to uninstall the damaged microwave in order to re-install the undamaged one at time of delivery. The Oven/Range ceramic coating was chipping immediately upon use on the second oven and when talking to Customer service they implied this was cosmetic vs a manufacturing defect. The oven has a steam clean cycle that would cause the oven to rust if the ceramic was chipped

I would give 0 star if possible. They are the worst company ever. Don't waste your money. My home is all Frigidaire. My washing machine went out and had stinky smelly water in it for 3 weeks before they brought me a new one. I had my second refrigerator delivered in February and it broke in May. It has the same problem as the first one. I'm still waiting on the part. My dishwasher just went out on Saturday.
Please don't get mixed up with them. You have the worst time getting a hold of someone and even texting is a nightmare. They are absolutely worthless and uncaring. I have spent probably 9 days on the phone with them and I mean all day on the phone. I don't have all day to spend on the phone and no one else should have to do it either. I can't afford to buy more appliances and I don't want anyone else going through this. It is making me mentally crazy. Stay far far away from the ripoff company.

Frigidaire should not be allowed to sell appliances providing a 2-3 week delivery window when they absolutely know for a fact that they cannot and will not deliver. It has been 6 months as of today and still no date for delivery. Their customer support line is a joke at best. Long hold times, transfers to other lines only to be transferred back to the original help number.

I ordered a propane conversion kit from Frigidaire. I waited three days for a tracking number and confirmation that the parts were shipped. I contacted them through live chat and was told that my order was ready to be shipped this morning. I paid extra for overnight shipping since I can't use my 1200 dollar stove until I get the part. I received no notification of shipment after 7pm. I contacted them again. I was then told it wasn't shipped. This is incredibly disappointing. I will now have to wait another week for my refund to be credited to my account and another week for the pay to be delivered from another supplier. Really disappointing.

Do not buy anything from Frigidaire!! I purchased a Frigidaire oven from Lowe’s May 2023. The product is defective and I have been given the runaround by Frigidaire for one whole year-12 long months!! They have sent multiple technicians and none has been able to find a resolution. I had another appt today, waited all day and no one showed up. Stay far from this company and spend your hard earned money with reputable people.

Much as with another recent reviewer, I have received the run around at every turn. My original order was placed early on the June 7, and at the time I was told it would ship the next business day. It did not ship until June 12, three business days later. It was supposed to be sent 2-day shipping through UPS, but it did not go out for delivery until June 17. By late that afternoon when it had not arrived, I checked the UPS tracking again and it said “The package has been reported as damaged and we will notify the shipper.”
I contacted a Frigidaire representative to let them know I needed the unit immediately as we are about to have extreme heat at the end of this week. I waited for over 30 minutes for her to answer, then she told me she would expedite a reorder. Later that evening I received an email confirmation with the reorder number, which also said the model was now out of stock and wouldn't be in until the first week of July.
I contacted them today again (I've now spent several hours of my time waiting in chats to get resolution on this order) and they tell me it will take 7-10 days for the refund "because it can take that long with the bank." I said no, my bank issues refunds as soon as it gets them (been through this before, ugh), and so asked her to confirm that the refund would be processed and issued immediately today on that end. I got the same canned answer of "it can take 7-10 days". I thought going directly through what I've always known to be a reputable company would be the best option, but save your time and money and go elsewhere.

BEWARE - DO NOT BUY FROM FRIGIDAIRE! This company has turned in to a scam. They are now Electrolux which is not based in the USA and any customer service gets routed to the Philippines. I bought a part for an old oven I have and never received it. The tracking number given to me was not found in the USPS system and may have been fake to begin with. I contacted customer service several times - their chat doesn't respond with any human, and their phone support kept giving me the runaround as well as hanging up on me several times. I finally just decided to dispute the charge with my bank.

Terrible Customer Service! So far my experience with Frigidaire has been horrible. Placed order with two day shipping, website says it will ship next day. A week later, 5 full business days, and it has still yet to ship. Can't get anyone on the phone and when I finally reach someone through online chat, they can't help and can only "forward" my info. Two more days and I finally get a vm from "escalations". Says to call back, wait 45 minutes on hold, only to find out the person (only 1 person can help?) isn't working. Still have yet to actually speak with someone who can do anything and now if I want to cancel my order they want to charge a restocking fee for an item that has yet to ship??? Shockingly, the next day tracking finally says "On the Way".
I am now over two weeks from delivery, 5 full business days from tracking saying "On the Way" and despite scheduling 2nd Day Air for delivery, No One can find the order... Finally cancelled the order, they won't provide an email 'confirmation' for me of cancellation AND they tell me it's 7-10 days before I can get a refund??? I paid extra for the "Frigidaire" name thinking such an established company would know something about customer service, should I even run into a problem. WoW was I wrong! Please do yourself a favor and Do Not Buy from Frigidaire or Electrolux: who owns frigidaire.

We bought a Frigidaire double oven in April 2024, from Home Depot. The appliances come direct from Frigidaire—HD does not stock or ship these. The oven arrived in a pristine box—not a scratch on it (and pictures to prove it). However when the installer showed up and opened the box the unit was badly damaged and unusable. Frigidaire refuses to replace it — tries to blame HD, who NEVER had possession of it. FRIGIDAIRE DOES NOT HONOR THEIR OWN WARRANTY!!! And the biggest insult was it was never even installed! Do not buy!!!

Wish I could give less than 1 star. This company makes trash products. We moved into a new house with all brand new appliances, all of which were Frigidaire. After less than 1.5 years, we've had issues with every one of them except the microwave. The refrigerator came with cracked shelves and the air indicator light has never worked. The top rack of the dishwasher is hanging on by a thread because one of the fasteners on the track came apart. Plus, this thing sounds like a train running through our kitchen and living room every time we run it. I can hear it from my bedroom upstairs on the other side of the house.
But the real kicker was the oven. One night, after dinner, cleanup, and then getting ready for bed, i walked back down to the kitchen for a glass of water only to find the entire front window of the oven shattered and laying all over the floor. I was about to call 911 because i thought someone broke into our house. But, all the doors were locked up and nothing else was disturbed. Upon further research, we found that this has actually been happening to many other owners of the same oven across several states. Many other owners have reporting walking into their kitchens and finding that the oven window just spontaneously shattered when they weren't around. In fact, some news channels have actually done stories on this.
Rather than apologizing to customers and making it right, Frigidaire's response has just been PR statements about how committed they are to quality, blaming owners fire shutting the oven doors too hard, and charging $300 to fix it. Great job guys! I'm 46 years old and have NEVER broken an oven door or heard or seen this kind of thing before. So, a bunch of different people with the same model of oven that keeps spontaneously shattering under the same mysterious circumstances is just the result of a sudden outbreak of "oven rage" among people who have the exact same taste / budget in ovens. Will never buy this brand again.

Their customer service for small appliances through Curtis International is awful. The worst I've come across, truly. I thought it would be easy to upload the info through the link they sent me for 1 yr manufacture warranty. So the info was uploaded that they said they needed. A month or so passed and I'm like huh? So I contact them and they tell me I need to upload the info. It gets uploaded a second time...same thing happens. Then contact them again and they tell me "something" is missing so finally I email them the pictures and the info. Needed and then they finally say like warranty submitted and validated. So then it's like okay finally getting somewhere and they will do something about this fault product. Wrong.
After contacting them several times asking to speak with a manager which I heard there is no manager, manager is off, manager doesn't call people back, to manager will call you back by Friday or Monday....a representative said that it was my fault that the item broke because there wasn't proper clearance. Impossible. It sat on the counter by itself with room in all directions. And internal screws rusted after a handful of uses. Curtis continuously blames me even after contacting BBB explaining it's like brand new, it has proper clearance, it was $135, we used it a handful of times, I read manual and followed care instructions. Like it is the product.
It's been since February and they have yet to offer a real solution to the problem. And I will keep telling them Blaming me is not a solution to the 1 yr manufacturer workmanship warranty. I would go elsewhere, there's not many left but American customer service if you live in US. Curtis international looks to be in Canada and somewhere that actually honors their warranty. Save your time and money.

I will NEVER order directly from Frigidaire again. I selected a date for delivery at check out for 7 days from the order date, which seemed reasonable. More than 2 weeks later I called (and waited for hold for 40 minutes) to find out where our new oven was. They said it had just shipped that day and that the date at check out is just an estimate. They still won't confirm when it will actually arrive, but "probably" within and additional 2 weeks. I only saved $100 ordering directly from Frigidaire rather than from Home Depot. It wasn't worth it for the uncertainty and the possibly 1 month + wait to have a working oven. Home Depot would have delivered in 3 days. Just appalling service! If the manufacturer isn't set up to handle retail customers then they shouldn't do it.

If I could give them zero stars I would. I purchased an extended warranty for 8 devices. I paid $1621 and I never received any of my contracts. I called to use the warranty and they claim that I don’t have one for my microwave. Their customer rep Dianara ** stop responding to my emails. I requested a review of the call and sent proof of the call to no avail. I am disgusted and disappointed that I paid for 8 appliances and they are treating me as if I don’t matter. I am reporting them to the BBB because something needs to be done.

I bought a new oven. It came missing 2 knobs but other than that it functions fine. Customer support will not send me the 2 missing knobs. They want me to buy them. The store I bought it from doesn't have another in stock to get me those parts. They want to send it out and request a replacement that may take a month or more to get it. I shouldn't have to do without an oven for 2 simple knobs. Point is Frigidaire will not support their products even when bought brand new. A simple replacement was a minimal request that would cost them less than $50 for shipping and all to make a customer happy. This will be my last Frigidaire product.

I purchased a Frigidaire double wall oven in November 2022 and paid $2,500.00. Just last week I used the self cleaning mode and it burned the back of my oven. It was melted and now the oven does not turn on nor does the door open. I called customer service to let them know it was a fire hazard and the unit malfunctioned. They were not concerned at all. They were so worried about me not purchasing the extended warranty and didn't care that the unit could of caught on fire. I called again today to see if they could send someone to correct the malfunction, but yet again they don't care. It is obvious they do not stand behind their products. I could see if it was several years old, but to be out of warranty for 4 months AND it is a defective item is beyond ridiculous. Their products are a fire hazard and should not be sold. I will no longer be buying their products.

I ordered an air conditioner from the Frigidaire Webstore and had the worst customer service experience ever. UPS lost my shipment I know it is not Frigidaire's fault but they are the one that needs to address this. I have at least 6 hours invested in trying to contact them over a 3-day timeframe. Their AI is of no use. On hold forever just for the system to tell me "we are experiencing a large volume of calls please try your call again later" then the system just hangs up on me at least 10 times waiting around 30 minutes each time. The one time I got a real person on the phone after a 30 minute hold he said, " Let me connect you to the web order department" just for the system hang up on me again. Tried the texting option with no response. As of the writing of this review, I still have not reached anyone to resolve my lost shipment. I will never do this again and do not recommend ordering direct from Frigidaire web store.

Their chat function is a joke and when I finally had to call to get my issue resolved, they transferred me to the wrong department not once, not twice but THREE separate times. I explained my issue every single time and then the person would inform me that their team didn’t handle that issue. When I finally got to the “right place” after almost 40 minutes waiting, the representative wasn’t listening or paying attention because I had to repeat my issue twice and then they repeated exactly what I said back and said, is this correct? Why?! Then they said they couldn’t find my subscription number and turns out she was typing it wrong the whole time. I’m so over it and I hope I never have to call them again, worst customer service ever. Never buying a Frigidaire product again. What a nightmare.

Stay away! Electrolux is awful. Worst company I’ve dealt with. Bought the $2,550 Frigidaire GALLERY FREESTANDING MULTI-DOOR Fridge, Model GRFS2853AF, Serial 4A20203585 4/16/21. Fridge had faulty parts with issues from brand new. Water leaked and drawers broke. Unable to get in touch with company while warrantied. Customer service is a nightmare. Outdated computer systems keep repairs from being done as they can’t find scheduled appointments and can’t update information correctly-such as addresses and phone numbers. Their systems don‘t communicate with repair tech systems well if at all. Phones are not operational during high call volume times. Took off work many days for supposed repair dates and they never came.

DO NOT buy from them!!! Purchased Frigidaire Stove on December 18, 2023. It came with 1 year warranty from Frigidaire. Frigidaire-Electrolux service is horrible! It is now January 3 and we are 3 weeks without a stove, and it’s over the holiday season which makes it even worse since kids are at home and we cannot cook a meal. We had to wait a week for the 1st technician Jake to come out and he had to order the part which took another week. The part NEVER came in, I had to talk to a supervisor to reorder the part. The part came in and we had to wait another week for an appointment.
On January 2 the appointment was scheduled with Jake as the technician. He never showed up for Order **. I called Frigidaire-Electrolux and I got the run around and was told I would have to wait another week for an appointment when they MISSED our appointment we were not rescheduled for the next day or even the next couple of days. I will NEVER purchase from them again.

They cannot get a tech back out to fix it. I bought a $3000 oven and they took my money and are running. Nobody will call me. They said they just need to wait for another tech to try fixing. They will not stand behind their product and that is because they are selling you garbage. RUN from this brand.

Well, during the warranty period I had techs out at least five times on issues with my fridge. All concerned some type of leakage. After my warranty was up, I continued to have issues with the ice makers, hoses leaking, valves leaking. I’ve never had a refrigerator with so many water problems! It has damaged the flooring and carpet on the other side of the wall! It is now leaking again, three months later from the last hose and valve replacement, so I had to turn the water off to it, again!!!! So frustrated with the damage this fridge had done to everything around it! I will never buy this product again! I wish I could provide a picture of the RUST on the equipment of an 8 year old refrigerator!!!!

We bought a new Manufactured Home in June 2023. Upon moving in our home we have had nothing but issues with our Refrigerator. It has never worked properly. It freezes everything on the refrigerator side. The water in the door freezes. We have had a repairman out that they sent. It still was not completely fixed. Now we have called again for someone to come out!! All of the appliances were brand new,. The microwave has never had a plate and they keep telling us that it is on backorder!!! Just so disappointing! I will never buy another appliance of this brand!!

However long the product warranty lasts is all the product lasts there are ZERO exceptions!!! Got a new refrigerator at the end of July. It was broke right before Thanksgiving. The compressor died. They said they'd call me within three business days. They did not and now I can't have Thanksgiving. I don't have a refrigerator. I have a large family, a baby, kids to feed. They don't want to make it right. It just sucks because Frigidaire used to be a good name. Refrigerator doesn't want to freeze right. It did it. It sucks that brand is just awful and they won't stand behind their product. I purchased a Frigidaire Gallery double wall oven on May 10, 2023. We installed it in our new home and used it for the first time on August 31, 2023. It started flashing error codes F050 and F032 right away and then proceeded to start on fire. We quickly turned the breaker off to the oven and I called Frigidaire the next day, September 1, 2023. I was told to send a copy of the receipt, which I did. I was then told that they would contact a technician to come and look at the oven.
After waiting for a week with no word, I contacted Frigidaire again. I was told that they hadn't been able to find a technician and were still trying, so please allow 5 more business days. After this process being repeated for 3 weeks, I was told that a technician was not available in our area and our case will be escalated. Please allow 3-5 business days for the escalation team to find a technician. This was repeated over and over again for another 2-3 weeks. I did receive one email saying that a technician would be coming out on September 26th. The day before the appointment was to be, I called the company that was supposedly coming to fix my oven. I received a recording saying that the company was permanently out of business!
In one of the other calls I placed, I was told that Fred's Appliance was scheduled to come out on October 5th. I called Fred's Appliance to make sure they actually were coming and was told no appointment was scheduled. In fact, they had no record of a request for service from Frigidaire for us. We then filed a complaint with the BBB. Frigidaire came back with an appointment with Fred's Appliance on October 26th, almost 2 months after we first contacted Frigidaire. I then called Frigidaire back as this was not acceptable.
I was given an appointment with A Fix on October 19th. A technician came from A Fix at their scheduled time. This person who arrived had very little English skills, understanding or speaking. He asked me what is wrong with the oven. I told him it started a fire but he insisted I start it to show him what was wrong with it. So I did. Lo and behold, the oven started on fire. This time the flames were heading up into my cabinet above the oven. They were difficult to get out. We now have smoke damage in our cabinets, a burning electrical smell throughout the house, and an oven that still does not work. After the technician made his report stating that the oven was unfixable, he said they would contact Frigidaire that day or the next day.
We should get news about a replacement by the weekend. As I had not heard from Frigidaire yet, I contacted them yet again today. After waiting on hold (again) for over 30 minutes, I was told that there is nothing in the case file stating that a technician had been out. After back and forth a few times, she said she was transferring me to the technician. I have no idea why. Of course, the call was never answered. It is now November 3rd. I have placed another call in to Frigidaire with no results. As of now, I will never purchase another Frigidaire appliance nor will I recommend them to anyone else.

Two month old refrigerator compressor died. They are not replacing it because they said "it can be fixed". I had to throw away over $300.00 worth of food away. I have no refrigerator and CSR said the part will be ordered and would take at least 5-7 business days to come in!! How am I supposed to feed my kids and myself without a refrigerator?? Won't give me a loaner and are not reimbursing for all the food I had to throw away. So now I am out a couple of hundred dollars in food and can't buy anything to feed my children.. never buy any products from them.

We were duped into getting this fridge because we bought a new build, and we didn’t have a choice. Absolutely nothing about this refrigerator is good. About once a day the fan goes and it makes a sound like it’s about to take off in outer space. My kids always get scared and ask if the fridge is going to explode. Then to top it off, the freezer compartment does not seal. There’s literally cold air being pumped out of it because the seal will not latch. Good news is the refrigerator portion also doubles as a freezer because it literally freezes anything that remotely goes to the back. I don’t care how full this thing is as their so-called customer service told me. The fridge could be empty with one thing in there, and it will freeze. The drawer broke less than 1 year in as well. If you contact Frigidaire, don’t expect to get a solution. They’re not gonna help you. This fridge has been a pain in the rear for nearly 2 years, and we can’t get help.

I was all excited when I found a refrigerator on Frigidaire.com that would fit my small kitchen. It was a very reasonable price with added installation and removal. A day before, someone from what I assumed was Frigidaire called to confirm my delivery time. It was set for between 0800-1000. I asked the gentleman if they were able to install a longer hose, as my current one leaked and was longer than the included 6' hose. I told him I was willing to pay whatever extra fee was needed. He assured me it would not be a problem, as the truck carried longer hoses and all of the necessary equipment for proper installation. When the truck didn't show up by 1000, I contacted the number used to set up the delivery.
He informed me they had to reroute the truck and start somewhere else first and would be by my house later that day. I informed him, it would have been nice if someone called me to give me that update. When the 2 man crew finally showed up, they went to work removing the old refrigerator and bringing in the new one. As they were about to finish, I asked if they installed the longer new hose as I requested. He said, "We don't do that." I asked him what he connected the refrigerator to? He pointed to the broken, leaking hose from inside the wall. I explained to him what I had previously requested and I asked if he had turned on the water to at least see if it was working properly.
He once again said, "We don't do that." He then looked at me and asked me how to turn on the water. I pointed under the sink. I turned on the valve to show him the hose he connected was the broken one. I then noticed 4 of my slate floor tiles where the refrigerator was moved from were completely damaged. As I started to point this out, he and his partner quickly ran out of my house, got in their truck, and drove away. I tried calling and texting the delivery number with no answer. I called Frigidaire who transferred me to 4 different departments. Each time, I got sent to a number which either disconnected or went to voicemail. I decided to use the chat feature. I spent hours at a time since July 27, 2023 (it is now Oct 3, 2023) only to keep getting sent to different departments. I was told several times Risk Management handled claims. I sent pictures of the damages and 2 estimates for repairs.
Finally, on September 25, 2023, someone from Risk Management called and said the delivery company was responsible for the damages. To this date, no one from Frigidaire has been able to tell me who the delivery company is. No one answers the original number that contacted me to set up the original delivery. Also, Frigidaire kept asking where I purchased the refrigerator. They always seems surprised when I answered, "Directly from your website." Still no resolution or any kind of answer. You would think ordering directly from a company as large as Frigidaire would be safe. I will NEVER buy another Frigidaire product again!!!! I like my fridge, but not the company. They have the WORST customer service I have ever dealt with.

A company called Midea handles complaints for Frigidaire. My Frigidaire dehumidifier leaked and damaged my cabinetry and Alicia ** at Midea has stonewalled my requests for months for a refund for the defective machine and to honor my settlement demand for damage to my personal property. This company does not care. ** and Midea are the worst! By extension, Frigidaire sucks (b/c they contract with Midea which is really making them look bad). Midea hides behind emails, has problems with English, doesn't call when requested to do so and is frustrating as hell.

O NOT BUY FRIGIDAIRE!!!! POOR QUALITY APPLIANCES AND THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!!! As soon as the warranty expired, my cooking stove had a electrical problem, something broke and it was not getting electricity. I called customer service to complain and find out how to fix the stove. The customer service told me that I had to order out of warranty repair visit. After I stressed my discontent that a brand new stove purchased 1 year ago should not have broken down so quickly, the customer service rep. told me that the company will Give me 20% discount on the cost of repair visit. I responded that 20% was not an adequate remedy and requested at least 25% discount, the CS rep told me 20% was their standard. I went through the cost estimate for the visit with the CS rep several times. SO the tech came, he just replaced 2 inches of small cable that was burned, and charged me USD 197!!!!
When I saw the receipt, I realized that the company has not applied 20% discount as they promised. I called customer service several times, spent hours on hold and then finally talking to the CS rep[, and I was told 20% only applies to parts ordered, and since no parts were ordered, no discount, which is a LIE!!!! FRIGIDAIRE IS A COMPANY OF LIARS AND FRAUDSTERS! I requested to talk to the supervisor but the CS officers never connected me to any. STAY AWAY FROM FRIGIDAIRE!!!! THIS COMPANY IS A FRAUD!

I will never purchase Frigidaire again. Love the look and the initial performance of Gallery line. Purchased multiple appliances when moving to new home. Double ovens stopped working after 8 months. Called service and the nightmare began. One hour talking to a robot, then 2 service people in the Philippines. The 'supervisor' was rude and had no more information or authority than anyone else. It will be 3-5 business DAYS before I get a call from the 'expedited service team' re: who will call me about repair. No idea how long it will then take to get the repair people to my home. No apologies...This is the 'BEST they can do'. Sorry, but after the money spent, this is not good enough. AVOID FRIGIDAIRE at all costs...Wish I had known about the service and repair policies prior to purchase.

I manage properties for a living and dealing with manufacturer warranties is part of my job. The bar is quite low, as most companies don't make it efficient or easy to schedule technicians or honor their warranties. Frigidaire (Electrolux) takes it to a whole new level; it is by a long shot the most dishonest company I dealt with. Will make it difficult to schedule techs, techs will order major parts that are not needed and take them home, will take months to avoid resolving the issue and transferring the warranty responsibility to the seller (if you bought an extended warranty). Frigidaire is the worst. Avoid at all cost.

Purchased a Frigidaire French door refrigerator. With 4 months of issues I finally got Frigidaire to replace thru Lowes where it was Purchased. Lowes will now pick up refrigerator but I need to PURCHASE a new frigerator. When they process the returned one, then they will give me a refund. So I have to pay for 2 refrigerators. Really???? Electrolux the parent company of Frigidaire after 3 attempts to fix it just gave up. No more calls or any ideas as to how to fix the problem.

We are two working adults in my home and I was so pleased to buy a beautiful big fridge, my happy bubble was burst 19 months after purchase and the fridge is dead, biggest disappointment I’ve experienced in appliance so far. The price was a whooping $ 2500 but in reality they should price it with the amount of an extended warranty cost cause that’s just misleading clients that trust their Brand. So story short, I did not purchase an extended warranty cause I just didn’t have that extra money and 7 months after it expired it died. Almost has me theorizing that when a sale is made without extended warranty a self-distruct signal is sent to activate anytime after the factory 12 month warranty! Avoid this brand! I purchased a Frigidaire Dehumudifier in July 2021 for $435.00. This week it started overflowing onto the floor with no warning. As I purchased an Extended Warranty at the time of purchase to take me to July 2025, I was not worried. Sadly I have been scammed. The Frigidaire/Electrolux Canada people advised me that they had sometime earlier unilaterally cancelled my Extended Warranty. They offered to refund that, but I was out of luck as to the cost of the repairs. This is outrageous. They take the money for a nonexistent Extended Warranty and then as soon as it is required, they cap their expense at the purchase price of the Extended Warranty. And why didn't they contact me earlier with a refund? Avoid this brand!

I ordered my fridge just as the covid pandemic was ending. It took ~10 months to get it after 5: 2-month delays. Frigidaire likely cut corners to get it to me. Once I received the fridge, I had to get a technician out there because there was an issue with the drawer....13 months (12 month warranty of course) after it was delivered the fridge stopped cooling. We thought it was the freezer but it was the refrigerator component also. We had to toss ~$300 worth of food. I chatted with Frigidaire customer service and explained the issue. At the end of the conversation, Frigidaire said they would pay for the technician. When the technician showed up, they said they have not received any word from Frigidaire. After I paid, I contacted Frigidaire again and explained the issue. They had no history of chats. So they can basically say anything they want and then when it is time to pay the bill, they will stick the customer with the bill. That is not a good policy.

I got a new side by side refrigerator on May 22 2023. It was delivered and plugged in. It never got cold. Called the company. They sent a repairman. I was told it had no refrigerant. It left the factory with none. They came back a few days later and fixed that. It ran for about a week. Then the high temp light started beeping. Called Frigidaire. They said they would send me a compressor. Package came. It was a door gasket. Called Frigidaire. Told them what I got. They said they would send a compressor next day delivery. They did. Repairman came. Said it didn't need a compressor. He did something and got it taken care of. Ran for another week. High temp light beeping again.
The last time I called Frigidaire they told me if it needed a third repair they would replace it. So this morning the repairman called Frigidaire. Told them it needed repaired again. Tried to get them to just replace it. Now they are sending a condenser. I should not be having all these issues with a new fridge. I've had it two months and most of that time we have been using ice chests. I'm sick of it. I will never own another Frigidaire appliance ever. They suck!

I purchased a Frigidaire Solid service induction cook top from Electronic Express. It was installed in February 2023 with an error code of CO22. It was working but on some of the time. I called Frigidaire in February and 2 weeks later they sent our Dr. Appliance. It's now July 11 2023 and 7 visits later and 3 parts replaced and it still doesn't work. The techs they send have blew circuits in my house and no one even wants to discuss that issue. I have been extremely patient with dr. appliance and frigidaire thru this entire process and now they want to tell me my warranty is up and they will come out one more time. I would NEVER recommend buying Frigidaire to anyone EVER!

Requested service on my refrigerator through my extended warranty. An appointment was scheduled for 7/7/23 between 8am and 5pm. They never showed. Spent hours trying to call them and Frigidaire. A new appointment with a different company was scheduled for 7/10/23 between 8 and 12pm, at 8:30 am when I called the company to confirm the call would go to a full voicemail box. Call Frigidaire and they said that was not the company. They gave me the incorrect info. Gave me the new company and after trying to call them 3x someone finally answered and said they were coming between 3pm and 7pm and they did not have my correct phone number. Now I have taken 2 days off from work for this and still not confident they will show up later today.

Stay away from Frigidaire appliances. I purchased a brand new refrigerator that arrived damaged. Doors uneven and making a groaning noise. I immediately called the company. They sent one company who said it was unfixable and if they tried further it would be unsafe. I followed up with the company and they insisted on sending another company who after five visits (five days of missing work and having to wait around) that second company came to the same conclusion. I followed up yet again and they have denied any kind of responsibility or offered any remedy. They don’t care about the consumer at all.
I was told as soon as their repairmen who were their eyes and ears seemed it unfixable, they would remedy the problem. They lied! They say it works so I have to live with it. Doesn’t matter I didn’t pay for a refrigerator that doesn’t close properly, is uneven and groans. I can’t emphasize enough that the company should be avoided when purchasing your next appliance.

I purchased a brand new refrigerator in mid April. Had to wait a week for delivery and when they set it up it was not level and rocked and the doors would not open and close properly. The doors were uneven. It could not be adjusted because the assemblies were defective. I had to wait a week for someone to come, then another for the parts to arrive, then another because wrong part delivered. Then another because it still was not right. Ultimately they left my refrigerator sitting crooked and unlevel front to back and side to side and kept sending the same person.
I spent 20+ hours waiting for someone to come, on hold, people not showing up, etc. The last time he just took pictures and said it was my house that was the problem. I had to pay someone out of my pocket to set it up correctly. They would not replace it nor reimburse me for having to get an actual qualified person to do it correctly. The refrigerator itself is "crooked" but at least now the doors do not slam and things fall over in the fridge and it is leveled much better. I will never purchase a Frigidaire again! Everyone, just do not do it! Worst customer service ever!

Will not buy a Frigidaire due to poor customer service, warranty and repair services. 1st fridge arrived with broken part, causing all food to freeze. Took over 2 months to get service and part so returned fridge. New fridge arrived with a scuff mark and blemishes on door surface/material AND molding on other door has a gap/not flush AND interior has dark marks all over. Warranty insists a tech view the issue, BUT you only have 7 days to get that done and reported. Who knew?! Either way, the door and other issues will not be dealt with through factory warranty, for factory defects! Trying to speak to someone reasonable is next to nil! I advise you research reviews before purchasing Frigidaire products!

Customer Service: First representative indicated that the code on my dehumidifier allowed it to be under warranty until August of this year, but that I needed the receipt that I purchased it with. She even reminded me where I purchased it and gave me the next number to call. When I got the receipt and I got another representative, the answer was completely different. All of a sudden it was no longer under warranty. Frigidaire should have representatives that are on the same page (even if one representative says it is not under warranty any longer, I of course want the one that said it was. Ha Ha). We loved the product and wish we could get it replaced. (Vai.) the representative was of no use. Frigidaire should do better in supporting their products.

This extended Warranty substantially prolongs the repair process leaving the customer for weeks without refrigeration.

30" Freestanding Electric Range with Air Fry Purchased 12/17/23. Broke 4/25/23. As of 5/17/23, repaired once but still broken. 5 appointments scheduled only 1 appointment came. Excuses as to the no-shows or no explanation, just another appointment scheduled. No faith that the last appointment will happen. I have financed an oven I can not use and am still paying on the $1500 paperweight in my kitchen.

We purchased a brand new double oven to put in a NEW kitchen. It was installed properly, never even got any power/lights NOTHING. Called Customer service, they scheduled 3 different techs to come look at it & all 3 cancelled, remember each tech was a week out & then another call to customer service to schedule another. Finally 4 weeks in, they send a Frigidaire Technician, he was very nice, but, did not know what was wrong. So, he ordered ALL of the electrical parts, 3 different ones & scheduled to come back 3 weeks later.
2 of 3 of the parts arrived, then got a text cancelling the appointment for April 18th. I called again, the rep said, "If I would appreciate it call back Monday & she will talk to the parts department", "If you appreciate call back Monday." She made no sense in English! So I call Monday just to hear the same from James, "I will expedite it to the parts department, call back." Well NO this will not work, 7 weeks in now 8 weeks.
I finally got a supervisor her name is MICA & she really did nothing but said she found the part & was ordering it, would not overnight it to us so I could have my NEW ovens working. Then she said, "I will email you & we can communicate that way." Well late night Monday I got an email from her with an order number on it, which does me no good, and nothing much else. I have emailed her back for the next 3 days & still nothing. This is really nice they warranty their products, BUT no nothing has happened yet & I have a huge party that I need an oven by April 24, 2 months after all of this started & guess what I won't have one. Maybe I should give them the Caterer's bill since I cannot cook. DO NOT BUY FRIGIDAIRE PRODUCTS, YOU WILL BE VERY DISAPPOINTED!

My fridge (a very uncomplicated and simple top freezer fridge) stopped blowing cold air 8 months after owning it. It took a 45 minute wait to speak with a Frigidaire support person and then another 30 min to get a technician set up to contact me about service. They did not call me so I called them but was originally told they were booked up and it would be a week before they could come out to assess the fridge. Luckily they came in 4 days but after quickly assessing it they found it to be a bad compressor. I was quoted 7-10 business days for the part to come in before they could come back to fix the fridge. I was already bracing myself for the pain of not having a fridge. No clue how others do it, but I cannot get by without a fridge so after a couple of days I ended up buying a mini fridge so that I could at least get by with a few things to prevent having to eat out for all meals which was becoming expensive.
After 14 days of waiting and hearing nothing from the local repair company that is contracted with Frigidaire I called them to get an update. They were unable to provide me any information at that moment on my situation and told me they would call me back. I never heard from them. I also the same day called Frigidaire back and had to wait another full hour before anyone answered and they were not helpful at all. They wanted to order the part for me and have it sent directly to me which they quoted another 7-10 business days for this to be delivered and then I would need to contact the technician to then schedule a time for them to come out (likely days out from then as well). They said they would contact the appliance repair technician directly to find out the part(s) needed and then order it expedited for 3-5 business days. This was on day 18 of my my fridge not working.
Frigidaire never got back to me about that or my request to have them cover the cost of the mini fridge that I am now needing to use to be able to live in my own home. I had asked for a refund and they denied this option even after speaking to a supervisor, Marlin. They said they would put a request in for the reimbursement of the mini fridge, but this would require a day or two before they could get a response. Never heard back from them about this either.
On day 22 of my fridge not working I called first the local technicians again and they said they were still waiting on a part and hadn't heard anything from Frigidaire even though I was told on the previous phone call they would reach out to expedite part ordering/delivery. I immediately then called Frigidaire again and had to wait another 60 minutes on hold until I actually got to speak with a support agent. He was nice, but again unable to do anything for me and I spent an entire hour (total of 2 hours this day) on the phone and he "attempted" to try and expedite shipping of apparently the third part that was needed for my repair. (I was unaware that more than one part was being required). They were ultimately unable to do so because I am in Hawaii and now they are saying the part is on back order so they are estimating 7-10 business days, but clearly they have no idea.
At this point, I would love to return this fridge and get my money back but I was also told this is not an option either. How do they expect one to be without a fridge for a month or more? This is so crazy! Thankfully I have the resources to purchase a small fridge to keep me going but I don't think that should have been necessary.
Don't buy a Frigidaire unless you have an extra fridge available in case it breaks because your repair may take weeks. I bought them originally because of the positive reviews for the fridge, reliability and simplicity of the fridge to avoid issues like these. I am so unbelievably disappointed with this whole experience and will think twice before ever buying a Frigidaire appliance ever again. You should too!

They extended my service agreement on a new dishwasher. Had service men come out 11 times over a year's time, make me pay 165$ for a new control board, then tell me it’s not reparable and there’s nothing they will do. I have to go buy a new one at full price etc. nothing!! I’m in disbelief!! Never been so mad. So if they hadn’t extended it and I had to buy a new one I would have saved 165$ and over a year's worth of meeting repairmen. 11 times. I left nothing out.

I had a service call today (**) for which I paid $99. I had categorically mentioned in my notes that the buttons have fallen inside and there is an issue with the hoods ability to suck the air. The technician who had come in today did not even bother to help me with the core issue and instead said that I have to pay $367 to get a new part for the buttons or if I need to fix it he will charge me $175 for him to just touch… really!!!. He did not have the part with him and did not bother to even help me fix the issue. Customer service and the technicians capability was down right POOR. How can you charge me for someone to just come have a look and not fix the issue, not carry the part inspite of me mentioning what needs to be fixed and on top of that trying to extort money for everything I was requesting him to do.
This is a perennial issue with your product and you are charging me a huge amount to fix the flaw in the product —- how fare is that ?? Charging $99 just to come have a look looks like is a new way to earn revenue by cheating customers and leaving them with more bills. One one hand the technician says “oh we don’t charge for our trip” on the other hand says oh the $99 is cost for us to come over. How contradicting are these statements ?? What bother me the most is the gentleman who had come over made absolutely no efforts to fix .. that is not how expect after sales service I am very very disappointed and really feel frustrated and expect to speak to someone senior to get my money back.

I recently had this new Frigidaire side-by-side refrigerator delivered, when it was delivered I was asked if I planned on hooking up the ice/water dispenser line, and answered "NO", this is relevant to an issue I had with the unit and it will become clear a little later in my review... The fridge started making a loud buzzing noise within a few hours after being plugged in, so I looked through the paperwork that came with the unit to see if there was an explanation for this particular noise... Other noises were explained in the paperwork, but nothing was mentioned about a loud buzzing sound, so I did a Google search using the model number and "buzzing sound coming from my Frigidaire refrigerator" to see if I could find an answer to why it was happening...
Here's what came up, "If your fridge is making a buzzing noise, the evaporator fan motor is likely going bad. The evaporator fan motor circulates air over the coils to help keep things cool inside your fridge. If this motor starts to go bad, it will make a buzzing sound as it struggles to circulate air." I'm immediately concerned that the brand new fridge that was just delivered has an evaporator fan motor that is defective right from the factory, and that my new fridge will eventually stop cooling like it should... This went on for a few days as I tried to do more research on the situation, and yet everything was pointing to the fan motor...
I couldn't believe that this sort of thing could possibly happen, and I began to wonder if it could possibly have anything to do with the water line not being hooked up, and the ice maker still in running mode, I searched the paperwork for an explanation on how to turn off or disable the ice maker if it was not being used and found nothing in the paperwork, I then did a Google search to see if I could find any info online about turning off the ice maker for this model, and once again I found nothing online to tell me how to, or even if the ice maker could be turned off if you chose not to use it...
After several days of listening to this loud buzzing noise, I opened the freezer door, and decided to pull out the ice maker tray assembly to see if there was an on/off switch hidden somewhere... and I didn't find anything but I left the assembly out on the counter for a few days, and the buzzing noise seemed to stop, so I put the tray back in and a few hours later the buzzing sound started again, this told me that it was definitely linked to the ice maker and most likely had to do with the fact that the water line was not hooked up to feed water to the unit...
Again I pull out the tray and search for and off switch, but nothing jumps out at me, I did notice a green light that indicates the power is on to the ice maker, and for whatever reason I decided to press it, even though it clearly does not look like a button, but to my surprise after pushing the green light the light went out, indicating to me that there was no longer power being feed to the ice maker, I put the tray back in and decided to wait and see if the buzzing started up again, much to my surprise it did not start again...
Moral to this story, why didn't the manufacturer include this information in the documentation that came with the new unit, or at least put some type of information out on the internet about the loud buzzing noise that your new fridge will make if you do not hook up the water feed line for the ice maker, and also give specific instructions on how to turn off the ice maker if you do not plan on using it?
Shame on you Frigidaire for not supplying this information in your documentation, or online for the customers that spend a great deal of money on your products and deserve to have all the answers to the questions that they may have after the unit arrives and is plugged in to be used by the customer!!! Overall, I am pleased with this particular model fridge, and the way it functions, now that I have figured out where the buzzing was coming from, and how to actually turn off the ice maker so that the loud buzzing noise would stop!!! Maybe you should consider rewriting the owner's manual and include the information about the loud buzzing noise and how to turn off the ice maker for anyone who chooses not to use it!!!

I bought a Frigidaire refrigerator at Lowes. Price, delivery and installation were very good. After the installers left, I found a bag with some parts in it. I figured out what all but one were. Also, I noticed that the refrigerator rolled very easily. This worried me since I have small children in the house sometime. So I called Frigidaire Customer Service (sic). I will not go into the long wait times since I eventually got in. The lady went off and finally returned to tell me she had instructions to lock the wheels and would email them to me. The "extra" part required me to take some photos and email them to her. She would let me know what the part was good for. That was 10 days ago. No instructions and no identification. In short, that's Frigidaire's Customer Service (sic).

We bought a Frigidaire dishwasher model # LFID2426TF3A 9-11-20 so less than 3 years old. The heating coil burned a hole through the bottom of the inside and melted the underside. The water went into our basement and caused significant damage. We had to call our homeowners insurance because of the damage. Customer service was rude and could not care less and This was after numerous phone calls with no help. All I was asking for was the amount that we paid for this dishwasher that could have caught my house on fire. They said no way. This is a warning to all not to buy a Frigidaire appliance.

Stove Top looks terrible and getting worse. I purchased this range April of 2019. When the first discoloration of the black stove top appeared, I didn't think anything of it. I did not want to scrub until the finish came off but that was my first mistake. It is progressively worse and now it is so discolored around the burners it's disgusting. I called Lowes where I purchased sometime in 2020, but of course they said I was out of warranty and didn't purchase extended warranty.
I purchased a Frigidaire stove about 2001 when the kitchen in my old house was renovated. I had an issue with the cooktop and they sent a new one to the my place of purchase and I was out of warranty but they backed it up anyway. I had a black stove, not stainless front and never had an issue again. Thinking that Frigidaire performed so well and backed up their product I would purchase all appliances with this name again. I called about a year ago and basically was told too bad. Every time I look at this mess it makes me mad, now a stove just turning 3 years old looks terrible.

I would strongly suggest not purchasing products by Frigidaire. I recently bought a house with brand-new appliances from Frigidaire. Frigidaire does not stand by their products. Refrigerator ice/ water maker doesn't work and they would not help me fix the issue. No resolution just sorry about my bad luck. Horrible customer service!!!

Paid over $2,000.00 for a Frigidaire refrigerator, October 2022. I called Frigidaire December 19, 2022, for repair. Needless to say, this refrigerator is less than 60 days old! The deli tray slide drawer broke. The clip holding the drawer in place keeps coming out of the slot interfering with closing the refrigerator. I was totally taken aback because this BRAND-NEW refrigerator should not be falling apart. I called their customer service phone number 800-374-4432, to no avail. I made several attempts in calling this number only to get caught up in a loop. It was obvious that the system was not going to connect me to a live person regardless of any of the options provided.
The phone system eventually instructed me to log into their website and chat to reach customer service. After searching their website for a chat button, again to no avail. It was about 10 minutes before the "chat button" suddenly popped up. To make it short, during the chat, the customer service rep told me that my problem was not covered by the warranty and that I would have to pay the cost of the repair. The rep told me that the broken part did not interfere with the refrigerator being cold. What? Are you joking me? No, the rep was dead serious. So, I have a brand new, broken, $2,000.00 refrigerator they refuse to fix. Buyers beware! They don't want to talk to you! I am absolutely livid! Never again! Shame on them! I bought a brand new set of Frigidaire Gallery appliances (Refrigerator, Dishwasher, Microwave) in June 2019. 2.5 years later the pump on the dishwasher stopped working and I had to replace it for $210 (the most expensive part possible for a dishwasher). The faulty pump resulted in damage to my kitchen hardwood floor. A year later the refrigerator's compressor and inverter board failed and need to be replaced. I was given a quote of $1605 to replace those. I opted for buying a new refrigerator instead. I lost everything in my freezer and most of the fridge items that I couldn't store in coolers.
I had much higher hopes for these appliances when I bought them. Didn't expect so many issues 3.5 years into owning them. When I talked to someone from Frigidaire customer service after the dishwasher failed I was told I was out of luck because I didn't have a warranty. I will not be purchasing any Frigidaire products in the future and will be sure to relay my experience to friends and family in hopes of saving them the money and frustration.

My Frigidaire upright freezer went out after three months. It would go into defrost mode and never come back on. This happened three times. The third time it never worked again. The freezer was fourteen months old at that point. I have been trying for six months for Frigidaire to do the right thing to no avail. Finally there idea of making amends is to give me a forty percent off coupon to buy another one of their appliances. I will never buy Frigidaire again. They do not stand behind their products. Even if I wanted to fix this freezer it's a closed system. Whatever that means. It cannot be repaired. Who designs a freezer you can't have fixed. At this point customer service just hangs up on me. Run people. Do not purchase any of their products. You will regret it if you do.

My unit was purchase roughly 6 months ago and it had been nothing but problems. From the light not working, to the door not closing, to the fridge not freezing and now the entire unit is not getting cold. The technician has been to my place 3 times. Now I have to wait over a week with no working fridge for a part. I have asked, begged this company to replace their product and nothing. I was told that I have to have 3 different work orders and 3 different issues to have my items replaced. I currently have 4 different issues (light, door, fridge, freezer), they even read me the policy twice.
I was promised a call from management which NEVER happened. I called back and waited on hold for 15 mins to speak to a manager when I was told before I had to wait 24 to 48hours to speak to one. I was transferred and spoke with a corporate manager named Peaches who told me that no such policy exists and she does not know where the last representative got that information and there was no limit on the number of repairs. I explained to her I have no working unit for almost a week and it would take at least another week for your technician to get me a part. 2 weeks without a fridge is ridiculous. This is a brand-new unit.
The corporate offered me $100 towards another Frigidaire product and told I would have to wait. So, it doesn't matter that the fridge is new, doesn't matter long it have to wait. I have lost hundreds of dollars in food; food is going bad daily. Your product is terrible but your customer service is even worse. I am shocked and appalled by this. This is not customer service; this is abuse of power. There is no concern for the concern for the customer. This is the 1st and last product I will ever buy from your company. This product was a waste of money, all the days I have had to make myself available for your technician is a waste of time and a loss of money as I constantly have to take time off for this. The fact that your Manager can offer me $100 and tell me to wait is just a slap in the face. I am disgusted with your company, your lack of ethics and customer service.

I have lived in my new home as of today 45 days. The builder put a Frigidaire wall oven with microwave in it. Since close day it has not worked. I have contacted Frigidaire every week at least 2x week trying to get it replaced after a contracted appliance repair man stated the part needed to fix a brand new appliance I have never used can't be FOUND PART. I KEEP GETTING THE RUN AROUND ON GETTING REPLACED. I STILL HAVE NOT DANG OVEN! I can honestly say they are the WORST and their robot customer service agents don't help nor listen. The waiting is ridiculous. 45 days of waiting on a appliance after buying half million dollar house is ridiculous. I should have had a replacement of my choice by now!!! I'm calling a LAWYER NEXT.

I have several Frigidaire appliances that I purchased when I modernized my kitchen...I would give the appliances a rating of "fair".... However, the service is beyond horrendous...If you call for service, you first have to deal with a "virtual assistant" for many minutes and then when she puts you through to a live representative no one picks up.... The phone just rings and rings...I have tried to reach them for five days now...So, if you know how to repair your own appliances, Frigidaire is ok...If not, choose another brand....

I bought a refrigerator in July. While I am on a trip my daughter called that the refrigerator is not working. The technician came to my house and said he has to order a thermostat. The damn thing is new!!! It will take weeks before I get it repaired. Meanwhile, Iost hundreds in medicine that went bad. What am I supposed to do? They won't replace it with a new one so I can get it sooner. This is total **! Frigidaire (Customer affairs) asked me to contact Home Depot and have them replace it but they won't. My range has not worked since we purchased it. After reporting this, Frigidaire sent a technician to assess. He determined some parts needed to be replaced. The parts we delayed several weeks as it needed approval from Frigidaire. After waiting 6 weeks, the parts came in and were replaced and the range was still non-functional. The technician advised to get an electrician out to assess. The electrician said the wiring in the home is perfectly fine and the appliance needed to be replaced. Upon relaying this back to the original technician, he came back over to assess the range again. He said he needed to speak with Frigidaire as he was unsure about the next steps.
Frigidaire then determined that it needed to be replaced (relayed to me) so the case was submitted to a department for approval. After two more follow up calls and 10 business days later, I am now told that the range needs to be assessed by another technician from a different company. It’s been an incredibly frustrating process to communicate with Frigidaire given their lack of transparency and ineptitude with their customer service agents not being informed. We are going on three months now without a fully functioning range with no end in sight. Extremely disappointed in this experience; would not recommend buying anything from Frigidaire given their product issues and horrendous customer service.

We bought this brand new fridge Aug 2022 and within a month it completely break down on cooling and freezer. It is a 37in two-door bottom freezer for close to 2,500.00 dollars.
1) Initially freezer was started beeping and "HI" Alert was on the door panel. We tried to reset the alert by book and still keeps beeping every 15 min. We called the company and they asked us to unplug and plug after 30min. We did and still beeping. Within a day the freezer was not freezing and we kept a water bottle to test and it was at room temperature. The next day top fridge is also not cooling. We called the company again and the response was not helpful and too slow. A technician came in after a week and could not find the issue and suggesting he need to order the door panel and test it out.
The panel takes another week and we did not see any response yet. In the meantime, we have lost our valuable meat, cheese and green products and company does not care or willing to reimburse. It takes a very long time to response and they do not care to give us a temporary solution this get resolved. We have two kids and having great inconvenience by this product and service the Frigidaire company provides.
2) When we first installing, the freezer door handle did not match the and always comes down. We called for service technician and after two weeks a technician was able to come and fixed the issue.
We are highly unsatisfied with this product and the service and we never buy anything from this company or recommend anyone this product.Model # GRFG2353AF0

After Lowe's contractors who uses their own subcontractors came out to reverse the doors on my refrigerator. I noticed a screw on the floor that had not been placed back into the refrigerator. This was after I asked them to reverse the doors to swing the other way. Now that the doors have been reversed and the screws are in the top door it makes a freaking sound when I close it. Almost like it's Halloween. I spoke to Jen today who said I had to unplug the refrigerator to reset it for at least 30 minutes to an hour and any food that is lost is not covered by the warranty. There was a language barrier on both sides and after I said I would just wait for the survey, she would not let the phone switch over to the survey, she kept me on hold. I wish I had read the reviews before I bought this Appliance. I hope the integrity of the door is ok.

Always check the appearance of the received equipment if you do not plan to install them right away. I bought 3 items: fridge, ventilation hood and electric range. The blue adhesive tapes were kept on for about a month. Upon removing them, we were surprised to find out that the blue tape was actually was holding the side panels together. When we removed the tape we discovered that the 2 sides of the oven were dented and would not fit or hold together. We notified the store. The mechanic came and inspected the faulty equipment and stated it can't be repaired and must be replaced instead. The store crew asked me to call the manufacturer. I called the manufacturer and I explained the issue to them as well. I was told that this defect was not reported for 2 weeks and therefore can't be fix or change.

Ordered two replacement parts for my Frigidaire dishwasher. Frigidaire said they were the correct parts, they weren't. I sent them back using their return address label and tracked the shipment via UPS. Frigidaire said they never received the returned shipment despite the fact that I had proof of the UPS delivery and so they refused to give me a refund. So now I have to seek other remedies to try and get which is owed to me by Frigidaire. I do not recommend doing business with this company.

Do not purchase any products from Frigidaire and Home Depot. The pair is a nightmare and ordeal to go through. The fridge was never delivered on the schedule, could not be installed multiple times due to issues not shared with the customer and finally when it was delivered had paint damages and the screws missing from the plastic wrapping. Had to wait another week to get installed. One week later I noticed that the door was not closing hermetically and request a technician to come and check it. He found out that the gasket was not well enough good and told me that he would order one. Since I did not hear from any party involved in that nightmare I called Frigidaire and found out that the gasket was never ordered. The repair store was close.
Today I called back and they wanted to dispatch another technician for second opinion. I said no. Then hold more the phone to speak to the supervisor who finally is going to order both door gaskets. Alleluyah! Endless hours on the phone with HD, Miami delivery company, Frigidaire and repair store. No more HD and Frigidaire! To give birth to 10 tweens would be easier.

Updated on 8/8/2022: Here is an update on my previous review. I spent over 100 dollars replacing my oven door handle that fell off of my oven due to being cheaply made. The inside where the screws go in is plastic and it is already loose after just replacing it. Now the glass door part of the oven has fallen off. I found it dangling this morning half off the oven. And now that it has fallen off I can see how whoever is building products for Frigidaire attached it. With adhesives!!!! On an oven. For the glass portion of the door which is heavy. I have included pictures. I have friends that have said their oven is also falling apart. The same brand and model. I messaged Frigidaire and they told me due to the age of my oven they can not help me. Imagine that!! Not only are they not standing behind their product but they are calling my only 3 year old oven old!!! They also told me I need to see if there is a recall. There does not seem to be.
One person I talked to said when they called Frigidaire they denied that there are any complaints for this style of oven. Which is a complete lie. I have complained twice and there are many complaints on social media, Amazon and their Facebook page. This company needs to be held accountable for their crappy products and charged. People are paying a lot of money for these products and then they are ALSO making money on replacement parts because they are cheap and crappy. Do better Frigidaire!!!! How do I trigger a recall. Can that be done by the consumer?
Original review: I decided to splurge and buy a new Frigidaire oven. It has only been a few years and the oven door handle keeps popping off causing the oven door to crash to the floor. It is cheaply made and can't handle wear and tear. So I phoned customer service to get help with the issue and I am told they want me to either pay to have my oven repaired or I can pay 108 dollars for a replacement door handle that obviously has design flaws.
When I looked on Amazon they were selling the part there and all of the customer reviews reported the same issue with the door handle. So replacing it will only leave me with having to replace it yet again down the road. I am disappointed. Stand by your stuff and have pride in the quality. If you did then you would cover the warranty longer than a year and have faith in the quality you are putting out there. Now I am stuck with an oven that we spent a lot of money on that we now have to constantly fix. Not to mention the self cleaning option doesn't work I keep getting a dr code. You are contributing to garbage going to the dump. Please do better and produce better quality and fix your product when there is an obvious flaw.

Since Feb, 2022, I have been trying to get my refrig repaired. I am under Extended Service and have been with them for over 6 years. They said they couldn't be there personally so turned it over to a local business. They sent out 2 technicians who said I needed a Fan-Fan Motor-and a gasket...and said it would be 10-14 days. Well...nothing 3 months later, No return phone calls. No updates, etc. In the meantime, I lost close to $300 in frozen foods because the bad gasket would not allow the door to close properly. I ended up having to buy a new refrigerator! This is not fair. How do I get a refund?

This is a HEALTH RISK TO ME AND MY FAMILY. Nobody wants to be accountable, neither Frigidaire or American Freight. This product has been sitting in my home for weeks and nobody wants to do anything about it. Frigidaire provided me an authorization number for a replacement and American Freight says they cannot replace the product unless they receive an email from the manufacturer. When I called Frigidaire back, of course they told me that they cannot send an email. Ernie and American Freight and the representatives at Frigidaire are a disgrace. If you want good customer service and reliable products DO NOT purchase anything from here. All they do is lie and make things up to try to get a sale, and then they act like they don’t speak English.

Model # - FRsss2323AS0 or O Serial # -4A14107574. Order number for missing parts: ** waiting on shipment since Feb 25, 2022. Where is the tracking number. My mother has been waiting on missing parts for her new fridge since January 2022. I have called a few times just to simply get the tracking number for the order shipped out I was told on February 25, 2022. They have all the details on file from the specs as to which parts are missing (deli tray 3,4,5 which is specs 48,49) and (Crisper tray 49) as well as a fridge logo. This was covered by Mykia, she told me that the order was held but never go back to me as to why it was held.
I spoke with Ann who told in early Feb. She told me by Feb 25 2022 the missing parts will be shipped. I spoke to Sirena told March 14 she hung up on me and but told me she would place me on hold to go retrieve the tracking number, enter hang up a dial tone. Someone either did not do the reorder for the missing parts or the shipped is still not out yet. Either way when a customer calls if the CS rep does not know the answer as to why the order hasn't been shipped or cant even provide the tracker number for the missing parts, this only means people are slipping on the cs service skills.
From January until March 14 2022 my mother is still waiting on missing parts. WHY? Can I get a order tracking number without cs reps hanging up or just the honesty of what is really going on here. Tomorrow I will call back and just request to speak with a supervisor or manager because these are simple questions that only require simple answers. WHERE IS THE TRACKING NUMBER FOR THE MISSING PARTS???

I had to replace my Frigidaire over the stove microwave oven 3 times in 5 years...a tolal of over $1,500.00!!! I will no longer purchase Frigidaire products and will not recommend them to my friends and family. Only myself and my husband live in our home and they were treated with care but no compensation was even considered. My last microwave oven, a Panasonic convection oven lasted over ten years and was still working when we moved.

The 24-inch gas wall ovens are not displayed in stores. So, I made my purchase online from Airport Home Appliances. The difference in the appearance of the oven online and in person was as different as night and day. The oven sits too far off the cabinet. Which did not show online. There’s no frame around the oven, so it looks unfinished. The interior of the oven sides, door and gauges were not even. The bottom drawer was uneven, flimsy, and the parts inside were bent and didn't close completely. Airport Home Appliance agreed regarding the defective/damaged oven and ordered a replacement. Unfortunately, the 2nd oven had the same issues. They did remove the oven from my home. I paid $1699.00 for this oven, not including taxes and installation. Airport Appliances have told me it was manufactured that way and can’t promise me a refund. The oven was removed from my home. So now I have no oven and missing $2000.00.

Have a $3000 + refrigerator that BOTH the crisper door fronts separated and are now unusable. First drawer broke at 18 month. Second drawer broke at 20 months. Just my wife and I, no kids banging them. They are cheaply made. Called customer service. Of course was told that it is out of warranty. One year. I tried to tell the rep that according to research this is common issue for this unit and that drawers have been replaced outside warranty. Was offered to buy another drawer that will break in 18 months. Got nowhere. Told him he left me no choice than to go on social media. Asked him to hold on so I could get some paper to write his name down. He hung up on me. Was transferred to the survey which conveniently could not hear my verbal answers or receive any keypad input so I could not leave a poor rating. They are not going to address ANY needs out of warranty for known defects with their product. Good luck.

My 3 months old wall oven has a broken seal on the inner glass door. Called these guys a couple months ago and it's been a back and forth of he said she said. Basically they claim that this is not under warranty because it is considered a "Cosmetic" issue. How is a door malfunctioning a cosmetic issue? Aren't the glasses supposed to keep the temperature at certain level? By the way, the company providing the services are asking for a part for the seal. UNBELIEVABLE. A SEAL for the door and they don't want to pay for it. WOW. For a 1500 appliance, they do not want to cover the cost to repair a damn seal. Make sure you think 5 times before you get something from them. Seriously. So cheap....

Frigidaire apparently is one the few manufacturers that wants to deal directly with purchasers of their products. You wouldn't think so today after their service representative wouldn't let me speak to his manager and hung up on me. I bought a refrigerator one month ago from a store in Vaughan. It arrived defective from Frigidaire. They scratched my hardwood, my brand new white rug had black marks on and my walls were damaged. Fixable, but annoying nonetheless. The same day the fridge was delivered, I sent a video to the delivery department, who sent it to Frigidaire, showing the problems/defects. Someone was supposed to get back to us within a few days.
A few weeks later, there was still no call from anyone, no follow up. After a total of six calls, waiting 20+ minutes each time for someone to pick up, getting constantly passed off and their CSR's passing the buck back onto us to follow up with them once again if we don't hear back, we finally got a technician out to look at the refrigerator, almost one month later.
Repair guy stayed for less than 5 minutes and told us the unit was non-repairable. I called Frigidaire again, waited for another 20+ minutes, and spoke to 'Rodney', who put me on a long hold. He kept switching off his mic while I was trying to explain what happened. He clearly wasn't interested in helping at all so I asked to speak to a manager instead. He said no. A few times he refused. I asked why and he said because. Then he pretended he couldn't hear me asking and hung up on me. This experience really left a terrible taste in my mouth. People, if you need to buy appliances, rethink choosing Frigidaire. Do your research and try to choose a manufacturer that won't treat you like total garbage after you spend thousands on their product.

Frigidaire is a joke, they don't stand behind their products, transfer you to a survey and then hang up on you every time they tell you they will transfer you to the correct department and when you try to call the correct department the first time there is an automated response that says, "Due to high call volume we can not answer your call at this time" and it hangs up on you. When I finally spoke to someone they said they will not replace my defective part, that I have to pay for it and the cost is half the price of buying the entire appliance. I will never buy another Frigidaire appliance again. Hours of my time wasted and no resolution.

I purchased a Frigidaire upright freezer in July of 2021. By the end of December, the freezer had an indicator light blinking which mean the temperature was dropping inside. I had almost $400 worth of food which was thawing and had to be thrown out. This happened New Year's weekend, and I was not able to contact Frigidaire until Tuesday, January 4th, when they reopened from the holidays. They sent a technician immediately out the next day, January 5th, and he noted that 5 different components of the freezer had gone bad and needed to be replaced. He also mentioned that he'd had over 20 different calls on the same freezer, which the same issues with the 5 components failing.
I called back to Frigidaire on January 5, 2022, and told the representative that five components failing was not a fluke but a defect in the unit. I also noted that this model freezer was discontinued....I wonder why? The representative told me that if they were unable to order the five components within 7 to 10 business days, I could get a refund. No one contacted me and I called back on the 11th business day, which was January 20th.
I spoke to both a representative and her supervisor and they told me that I would not receive a refund, but would simply have to wait until they received the backordered parts. I asked her what timeline would be reasonable, and she said she didn't know, I would just have to wait! I demanded a refund, and she refused. She said the only way I would get a refund is if the technician declared the freezer unrepairable, which, clearly they will not do. All the while, I am without a freezer, lost over $400 in food, and the 1 year warranty is ticking away. By the time the unit is repaired, I will then be out of warranty and out of luck not if, but when it breaks down again. All I was offered is $100 in food replacement. I want a refund and want this freezer declared defective.
