Steer clear of Farberware. It's decent kitchen stuff, but if you have an issue they will NOT respond to your emails. They sell you things and just walk away. I contacted them three times about an issue with a spatula that was less than 6 months old -- zero response.

Microwave and Customer Service. I purchased the Farberware FM09SSE microwave in August 2020, expecting quality from such a well-known brand. Unfortunately, the interior of the microwave began peeling and deteriorating, and pieces of the coating ended up in my food. This raised serious health and safety concerns for me.

Bought a Farberware Masterclass Premium 6" Omelette Pan. I'm very disappointed in the design. The non-stick works as advertised, however the handle is made of plastic and burns and emits a horrible smell. I checked the approved usage and it says I can use it with gas. Even at the lowest temperatures and paying attention to make sure the handle is as far away from the flame as possible it burns. Skip this crap.

While I love the way this 4qt pot heats up fast and cooks well, the handles get so dangerously hot. One could get burned very badly by grabbing the side handles without hotpads! I assumed the handles were heat-safe (not for in oven, just stovetop).

I bought the 20 piece pots & pans. They are horrible. I cooked in the frying pan & it turned white on the bottom. The cookie sheet that came with the set had a chip & was already getting rusty. The pots had a white ring around it after washing. Farberware used to be the best but now I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. It's garbage. Not worth the money.

Went with Farberware soup ladle rather than cheaper one. Much heavier nameplate handle, flies up into air when you let go of it. Ladle part light as feather. Not the company it used to be. Already threw out cardboard wrapping so couldn't return in. Customer support not interested, just willing to send me the same. Would only run up my total cost by spending money only to get back same item.

I purchased the Faberware 2-4 Cup Percolator, Stainless Steel, FCP 240 on March 11, 2022, via Amazon. I have used Faberware coffee percolators for many years and have an 8-12 cup percolator that is over 40 years old. I really like this product and am disappointed that this coffee pot purchased only 17 months ago is not working. The problem started two days ago. When the coffee pot is plugged in, the GFCI-ground fault circuit interrupter trips and shuts off the power as soon as the coffee pot is plugged in. I have tried using different outlets, but that did not fix the problem either. Amazon was unable to offer me a replacement. I shipped the coffee pot to the Meyer Corp address. I am unable to contact anyone via customer service with over one hour on hold. I will never purchase another Farberware product. Do not waste your money on a product that does not stand by its name. The ounce setting no longer works properly, if you set it for 12 oz, you get approximately 5 oz, if you set it for 14 oz you get approximately 6 oz. In order to get a 12 oz cup of coffee I am now required to set it at 6 oz, and then 14 oz. At times when I follow that procedure I still only get about 10 oz. The next time I shop for kitchen appliances/products I don't believe that Farberware will be a product of choice.

While drying my newly purchased vegetable peeler and spatula for non stick pans I noticed the non stick coating on the spatula is peeling off and the blade on the vegetable peeler does not work. I called Lifetime brands which is the company that handles this for Farberware and was told that the items will be replaced after I ship them to New Jersey. I must pay for shipping. I would have given a ZERO but 1 star was the lowest! Not the company it used to be.

The 2-4 cup percolator kept tripping my circuit breaker. So I purchased another. Still having same issue with brand new one and now only 6 months after purchase the handle has cracked! My mom has one herself only 4 months old and has a cracked handle also! Definitely not worth the aggravation!

My family has given Farberware to each family member that marries, for 3 generations. Farberware used to be so fantastic it lasted 3 generations. The junk I purchased in the last 10 years is garbage!! Handles fall off all of them. Even if I tighten the screw, it doesn't matter. Do not purchase the stainless steel pots & pans!! The colored Teflon is really really really junk. They barely lasted 1 year. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY. IT IS NOT THE ORIGINAL FARBERWARE. FARBERWARE SOLD THE THESE NEW OWNERS. LOUSY PRODUCTS!!

I bought a $17.95 handheld can opener. This company wasn't smart enough to make it out of stainless steel so the first time I wash it, it started rusting. What sort of morons make a handheld can opener and doesn't make it out of stainless steel??? Farberware, that's who. Now that name is synonymous with crap and garbage products I will never buy from again.

The inexpensive Farberware pans look very pretty when you purchase them. Then you use them and all the blue paint burns off onto your electric coil elements. Now, not only do the pans look bad, but your coil elements look even worse. Just threw them into the recycle bin. Ruined my stove top.

I bought the Farberware Professional Cheese Slicer because it was all my local Walmart had. It only slices halfway through SOFT mozzarella cheese, for one thing. Also, even with that use, the wire has become so curved/bent in 2 months that it seems like it could fall off at any moment. There is a warranty described on the back of the package that says you have to pay for return shipping. Since that's really a scam for a $6 cheese slicer, I just prayed it would be a good product and that customer service would actually serve me as a customer if I had to call.

This Farberware hand held food chopper broke the first time I used it. The plastic surrounded the sharp blades came off exposing the blades. The box says that Farberware licensed their name to this company that made it. The box says they'll replace it if I paid to send it to them. There is no website, no phone number, no email address on the box. Apparently, the name Farberware is now meaningless.

I would give Farberware 1/2 star if I could. I have purchased many coffee pots and cookware through the years. Not only is their customer service poor but they literally do not guarantee most of their products.

My low rating is NOT because of the quality of the product. The quality and durability of these pans is exceptional. I have used the Classic pans for over 20 years. Unfortunately, I have ruined at least three saucepans buy not keeping a close watch on the stove. I would like to request replacements of the 1 quart and 1.5 quart saucepans WITHOUT the lids, as the current lids are still usable. However, Farberware make no provision for such replacements. I must purchase the complete set.

The look is great, easy to clean inside and out. Cook times are perfect at every level choice. I never have to reset the timer to finish cooking anything! Wish I had bought this microwave a long time ago.

I recently purchased model number FMO11AHTPLU, 1.1 cubic ft. Fits large dinner plate. Light inside, good control panel! Easy to use, great functions. Actually so far, one of the best micros I have gotten (a lot, cause I got first one in early 70s). Very good price for all it does and the size. I purchased at Kohl's. I will update, if it does not live up to what I expect.

I purchased a Farberware 9x13 baking pan. After only a few uses, the pan bubbled on the bottom and left metal flecks in the food. I contacted the company to share my concerns. Their response stated, "We can only guarantee that at the time when opening the box the pan was in good working condition, after that there is no warranty or replacement parts." This seems a bit ridiculous as the pan is not intended to be kept safely in a box, it's purpose is to bake and/or cook in it. If it cannot fulfill this function, then it should be replaced.

No one can doubt the quality of Farberware. For generations they have made quality cookware. However, when I filed a claim about a defective saucepan, it took a very long time for them to replace it. I followed up by email 3 times. Finally got it. So... happy now, but warranty response is slow.

Able to wash/clean the entire coffee pot. No stale odors nor discolorations in pot when cleaned. Fresh brewed coffee each time with no bitter taste while coffee stays hot for second cup to enjoy. Farberware is my favorite.

My family loves our Farberware percolator and uses it every single day. It makes a consistent cup of Joe every time, and the flavor is hard to beat. The materials are durable and easy to clean although you have to be careful to always remember to not submerge the base with the electric cord in water. The handle is well built and doesn't get hot, so you can serve as soon as the coffee is ready. I know my family will be enjoying this product for years to come.

This coffee maker is absolutely what I need. I only drink coffee about once a day, and that is usually one cup. Since this is single cup at a time scenario, I do not end up with a bunch of coffee sitting there all day and continuing to heat it up throughout the day. My wife very seldom drinks coffee, therefore this works perfectly for my family.

5 yrs ago I purchased Farberware 4 cup - and it blew out after a few months. Then I purchased Farberware 12 cup - and it also blew out in a few months. It blew my circuit breaker. I've purchased this brand for 30 yrs and it used to be great - not anymore.

I do appreciate the timer for the alarm to have coffee set or for automatically. It's easy and convenient when I'm in a hurry. Easy to clean and take apart as well as put together and the filtration isn't so bad and doesn't get clogged. Coffee tastes fine.

The only problem I have with this coffee maker is finding a disk filter. I can vary the strength of brewed coffee by either changing the brand of coffee or by changing the amount of grounds used. Overall though it is a very good coffee maker.

I have not been able to open one can. My neighbor tried, we still could not get it to work. I can't remember where I purchased it. How can you be any more specific than it won't open any can that I try.

I have had the Farberware Classic set of pots for 32 years. They are still just like new. I have never had a problem with any of them. The handles look like they may not withstand the test of time but they have all held up. I have recently added some of the new sizes but in the Classic series.

This cookware is very durable. It is also very easy to clean and maintain. I have had no issues with quality or defects and have had the products for over 20 years. I use them everyday. The pots and pans have a good weight to them without being too heavy. I could not more highly recommend them.
