I purchased a Farberware 9x13 baking pan. After only a few uses, the pan bubbled on the bottom and left metal flecks in the food. I contacted the company to share my concerns. Their response stated, "We can only guarantee that at the time when opening the box the pan was in good working condition, after that there is no warranty or replacement parts." This seems a bit ridiculous as the pan is not intended to be kept safely in a box, it's purpose is to bake and/or cook in it. If it cannot fulfill this function, then it should be replaced.
No one can doubt the quality of Farberware. For generations they have made quality cookware. However, when I filed a claim about a defective saucepan, it took a very long time for them to replace it. I followed up by email 3 times. Finally got it. So... happy now, but warranty response is slow.
Able to wash/clean the entire coffee pot. No stale odors nor discolorations in pot when cleaned. Fresh brewed coffee each time with no bitter taste while coffee stays hot for second cup to enjoy. Farberware is my favorite.
My family loves our Farberware percolator and uses it every single day. It makes a consistent cup of Joe every time, and the flavor is hard to beat. The materials are durable and easy to clean although you have to be careful to always remember to not submerge the base with the electric cord in water. The handle is well built and doesn't get hot, so you can serve as soon as the coffee is ready. I know my family will be enjoying this product for years to come.
This coffee maker is absolutely what I need. I only drink coffee about once a day, and that is usually one cup. Since this is single cup at a time scenario, I do not end up with a bunch of coffee sitting there all day and continuing to heat it up throughout the day. My wife very seldom drinks coffee, therefore this works perfectly for my family.
5 yrs ago I purchased Farberware 4 cup - and it blew out after a few months. Then I purchased Farberware 12 cup - and it also blew out in a few months. It blew my circuit breaker. I've purchased this brand for 30 yrs and it used to be great - not anymore.
I do appreciate the timer for the alarm to have coffee set or for automatically. It's easy and convenient when I'm in a hurry. Easy to clean and take apart as well as put together and the filtration isn't so bad and doesn't get clogged. Coffee tastes fine.
The only problem I have with this coffee maker is finding a disk filter. I can vary the strength of brewed coffee by either changing the brand of coffee or by changing the amount of grounds used. Overall though it is a very good coffee maker.
I have not been able to open one can. My neighbor tried, we still could not get it to work. I can't remember where I purchased it. How can you be any more specific than it won't open any can that I try.
I have had the Farberware Classic set of pots for 32 years. They are still just like new. I have never had a problem with any of them. The handles look like they may not withstand the test of time but they have all held up. I have recently added some of the new sizes but in the Classic series.
This cookware is very durable. It is also very easy to clean and maintain. I have had no issues with quality or defects and have had the products for over 20 years. I use them everyday. The pots and pans have a good weight to them without being too heavy. I could not more highly recommend them.
Have used this cookware for many years. From the first time I purchase my set in the early 2000s and as to this day I am still using them and they have not proved me wrong. The cookware last longer than I expect it to, I always buy Farberware as a gift for family and friends. Very satisfied with my set.
I love the Farber cookware. They are hard to find in smaller cities with prices spiking without notice. I recommend them for all of my daughters/friends b/c they make food tastier & cooking easier. The pans are easier to clean, hold up under cooking conditions needed for large family dinners.
Don't usually need oil. They need to find a cleaner for the outside, no matter what you use- it takes off the paint or whatever the colored part of it is. Price was very good with my Kohls coupons but the company didn't make good on the $10 rebate they promised me.
We used to swear by Farberware, until about 1999, when we noticed anything stainless, was getting stains all over them, and then they began to actually break, though prior to that time, we never had a thing rust or break, I am sure they are being made in foreign country now, where they are using substandard materials to manufacture them. I would stay away from this brand, because it manufactures inferior products now.
I have some Farberware pans that I have had for over 15 years. They have some stains on the bottom from my former gas stove but the inside is still as good as when new, and the pans cook evenly and thoroughly. When I need a new piece, I look for it on sale.
I purchased a Farberware pot and pan set a few years ago, and within a few months one of the frying pans became scratched. The warranty had expired, and the manufacturer did nothing. I would not recommend purchasing their products.
Farberware guaranteed I had from several years. Replaced all the cookware that were Worn out, I enjoy all their products, I still use the cookware for more than 20 years. Great products!!!! I Will continue to buy their great products, I use the bakeware for my cake and fluted molds AND cupcakes.
I bought a Farberware stockpot four months ago. I used it every night for approximately three hours each night, with 20 minutes of "high" stovetop heat and then the remainder of the time on "low." I washed it every morning. One evening, inexplicably, the handle to the lid popper right off. The metal holding together the plastic handle and the glass lid appeared to have just corroded away. The inexpensive price attracted me to the piece in the first place but caveat emptor.
I buy Farberware for everything from spatulas to toasters. They aren't the highest end of products, but they are user friendly and last for a long while. The line of pans I have I have been using them for 9 years and they show minimal wear. Durable when needed! I love my stockpot in particular. I'm a big soup maker and as long as I have oil to keep things from sticking, it's perfect.
I've had this set for 25 years and it's still great. It still looks great and cooks evenly. The handles are safe and cool to the touch while on the high heat. These are my favorite for cooking because I can depend on them for even heat distribution and they're easy to use. The handles fit my hands and are made for a secure grip.
The product Farberware in my experience is very inexpensive. I have been using it for years and my Mother is the person that introduced me to it. They're non stick and easy to clean. Also the brand name is well known out of Walmart. And I would highly recommend it.
We bought a set of copper lined, stainless pots and pans from Farberware. We were very impressed with the glass lids and the weight of the pans themselves. Often people try to cook in stainless steel on high temperatures. This causes the foods to stick to the pan and sometimes burn. If used correctly, these pans work very well. They clean easily, heat very evenly and come up to temperatures quickly. I would buy the company's pans when these are used up, but from the look of things, it won't be for quite a while. Good quality, good price!
Love the Color and the weights of the products. Very durable and not too heavy. Easy to wash. Easy to store while stacking. Easy to replace one price at a time. Always on sale at most stores. I will continue to purchase this product.
33 years ago we received two Farberware pans for our wedding that we are still using and still look like we just bought them. I have gone through so many different pans and have not been able to find any that compare to these two. I've had a handle get loose on them and just tighten the screw and they are good to go. I recommend these pans to people all the time. I haven't been able to find comparable pans, but I haven't searched very hard either.
I bought a whole set of Farberware pots and pans back in 1975. I was engaged to be married so I told my mom to be on the look out for my pots. She called me at work and said my pots arrived. I asked if she could unpack and wash them. She laughed and said "do you want me to cook in them too?" I said, "Yes, because they really are for you!" She was so thrilled. Well, she passed away in 1985 and my dad gave me those pots. I still use them today. They are great pots and have many memories attached to them. One day I will pass them down to my daughter...but not yet!!
I've been using the same pots for 39 years and they still look new. Any burn marks remove easily with Bon Ami. It is very safe; I can use all types of utensils when cooking with it and the pots heat evenly with no hot spots. The handles are still sturdy and heat resistant.
I have purchased a good bit of cookware over my years (57 y/o) and I just hate cheap pots and pans. Before I retired at 43 I traveled a lot, in fact too much but I always seemed to have to give my wares away but I always purchased “good stuff”. Farberware failed me terribly, it’s for the most part made from low grade aluminum and formed in what’s called a punch press giving it its particular shapes. Drop one and you have a pot or pan now out of round and will not set level on the stove. The nonstick Teflon coating is just as bad, I found that after about ten or twelve hand or dish washings the coating begins to peel away now making it perfect for the trash, I don’t know about you but I’m not eating Teflon or anything else not naturally produced or grown for the human body. I typically spend about $500. For a good set but this time was a quick move and I per se, paid for it by spending down. I’ve since trashed them.
I've had my Farberware for 44 years and it still looks really good. The pots and pans cook evenly and you get used to them very fast. Mine are the stainless steel with aluminum clad bottoms. I can still make the stainless steel shine with a little Brillo.
I like the way the heat distribution is even on the aluminum-clad series pans. They heat up evenly and cook the food evenly. Also, the stainless steel will clean up easily as well. The handles do not get hot to the touch.
