    My experience with Closet World was good. They came and we discussed the layout of the couple of closets that I had. They gave me enough input to make it work. However, the biggest problem was it took a while for them to get the work done. But the guy that did my master closet was excellent. Did a good job. The closets are good, too.

    The designer listened to my concerns and design priorities rather than just trying to cookie-cutter something into my spaces. They were also willing to put in time to continue to modify and refine designs before reaching pricing. The installation was done professionally. I took six hours for four closets.     I got a closet system that goes down the entire 17-foot wall and the closet itself is 5 feet by 17 feet. I love it. The installation was perfect. The guy was very good and did a great job cleaning up after himself. He made sure that everything was operational before he left and it was positive all the way around. If I had another closet to do, I would definitely reuse Closet World.

    The designer was polite and professional. But the install process was delayed. I didn't know when it was gonna happen. I went with them because I needed it done promptly. But it was almost three months until they got to me. Once they got there, the tech was friendly and he was in and out in a few hours. They added shelving for hanging clothes. They also did three long cabinets for dresses. At the bottom, there's shelving for shoes. They redid two walls worth of space for $3,500. I highly overpaid for the product. My husband could have done the work from Home Depot products at a way cheaper price and at nicer quality. There's no backing for the shelving so I can see my wall behind it. My friends have done their walk-in closets and they have paid less money.

    I was having a built-in closet built, and I wanted it done properly. I hired Closet World and I love their work. The designer we had spoke kind of fast and I had to slow her down a few times, but she was really good at her job. I got what I asked for, and the guys were very efficient and quick on putting it in my house. The installation took three hours or less. Right in the middle, I've got three drawers, then I got a space on the bottom, three on top. And on each side of that, I have six cabinets on the side of that. I have a lot of room up on the top and I have four rods to hang clothes on the left. And I have three on the right for our long suits or garments. They did a wonderful job and they didn't scratch anything up. They also explained to me which parts are adjustable and which ones aren't.

    I got some closets done in the garage and I hired Closet World because of their price. The designer I worked with was lovely and really forthcoming. She was decent, smart, and had good follow-through. The installers were a bunch of characters and they were funny. They showed up late and I thought that they would never get it done, but they worked later into the dark and they got it done. They also did a good job on an install. But Closet World's markup is extraordinary and as a result, the fact they're still offering you deals is sort of a joke. They'd come in really high, then they'd give you a discount. It got to a point where the first designer I was dealing with went back to her boss and the boss got so upset that I was ready to wheel and deal, so he said they were not doing it. Then the second designer came back and we had a similar conversation. Then they agreed to do it for the price I wanted them to do it for.

    I needed some lower-end stuff for a project. So, I went with Closet World. I had to put cabinets in my office. The designer was okay. He gave me what we needed. It was a good, basic design. The installation took a day. I thought they didn't do as good a job as I would have liked, but it was okay. They did a credenza-type unit and then they did some shelving. For what it was, the final project was great.

    Closet World responded with courtesy and professionalism to my outreach and I was impressed with the presentation of their promotional materials. We did two separate jobs at two different times, both with the same designer. The first impression I got from her was that she was maybe a little stressed. But we had a good meeting. The first job was to remove an existing older shelf that was in the master closet -- have a storage organization system implemented as well as new door tracks installed along with new closet doors. I was impressed with that.

    The second job was the removal of an existing workbench in the garage that had worn down. They assessed the situation and they installed a whole new system after removing the old one. They let me know at the onset that they may have some difficulties because of the way in which the electrical system was placed on the particular wall. They eventually found a way to go about it that made it look great and it worked out very well. The final product is as described. What you see is what you get and there are no hidden punches. It was pricey, though. They were giving me discounts but at the same time, it seemed like the price got a little higher than I was originally quoted. But most important to me is the professionalism, courtesy, support, and doing what they say they're gonna do in a reliable way and that's what I got.

    My interactions with Closet World's designer were positive, until the end. He made a mistake on one of the drawings and it wasn't what we wanted. So when I kept on calling him, he didn't return my call. Once I got to upper management, everything was great. They took care of me, did everything they said they would, and we got it all done. The installers did some damage on walls and didn't want to have anything to do with it afterward. It wasn't that big of a deal because we had a painter in here. But that's par for the course.

    Closet World was the first one who answered the call and they sent somebody out right away so I went with them. Also, I've talked to other people that have had Closet World done and they all thought that they had good service. I had two towers and a queen-sized bed installed and the designer was very pleasant. She sat down with me and took all kinds of measurements. She was very concise and very clear on what she was doing. She drew the plans out and then she told me the price. I okayed it and they sent somebody out a few weeks later.

    The installers didn't do everything perfect, though. They didn't put on the cover for the springs properly, because when I open the bed, the bed hits the spring case and pushes it off. They probably would have come back out but they're miles and miles away, so if they send somebody out here, it’d take them a two-hour drive to get out here. Other than that, they did a good job for the most part. It looks really good and the quality seems to be very nice.

    Closet World had availability, and I didn't like the products of the other companies. I had them install garage cabinets. The designer was very collaborative. She was able to provide perspective based on other installations and was able to match that with what my ultimate needs were. The team that came out to install did an effective job. They let me know how long it would be and what it would be like. They did it within the time allotted, and the finished quality was good. I also used Closet World before. This is the third time of me using it. I do appreciate their specials. The accessories are overpriced, but I felt comfortable with the base installations, the materials, and the labor pricing.

    I called Closet World and a lady came out and gave me a nice, good quote. The designer was a very nice and polite lady. She was very informative. She laid everything out for me and gave me all the details. The installation went smoothly. The first day that the installer came, he wasn't able to finish. So he had to come back the second day and finish the closet. But he was a very nice gentleman, working as fast as he could. I really was impressed with him. He was very detailed.     The designer was quite friendly and helpful. Her first design wasn't what I had in mind. It was an oddly shaped closet. My initial reaction was that I'm getting the job done because I want the space to be maximized and not just because I just wanna do it. She easily understood and redesigned it to be more to my liking. The installation was fairly quick. But what they installed is made of very basic materials, none of which looks like how it costs. It was a $2,000 deposit for a very small 8x6 closet. But it was less than $300 for the materials. What they have in the ad is kind of deceiving. Unless you're really familiar with products and what they are worth, they're definitely overcharging.

    The consultation itself was less than an hour and the job that was done was less than two hours. It was rushed and the 2,000 I paid for it was a lot. If I'm calculating three hours of someone's time in their company and the $300 worth of equipment or materials to make the closet, that's less than $1,000. I understand a $500 profit but damn near double the amount is a lot for something that was done in three hours.

    I was happy with my experience with them and they have been helpful in getting me organized. I showed them what I wanted and told them what size and kind of what my budget would be, and they sketched it out for me. It was exactly what I wanted. The installation experience was okay. It was only one person who installed the system. I felt like it probably should have been two people, but they were able to do it. It was only supposed to be a one-day thing but it ended up being a two-day project. But the installer went above and beyond. He was a perfectionist so he was moving things around and really trying. He was like, "It was drawn like this, but I think it would be better if we do it like this." He did a really good job.

    We were over the top happy with our salesperson, William. He was extremely professional, and hardworking. He did a good job of assessing our situation. The first thing we did with him got completely scrapped. But he didn't hold it against us. When we got to the bottom line, it felt really high and we decided to put our dollar into a different area of the house. But he already spent a lot of time on it. I felt bad. But he didn't make us feel bad.

    Closet World did a demo and the whole parts of the area didn't get covered up. We purposely had them do the demo so they'd be responsible for the whole end result. William did troubleshooting on his own accord. I didn't have to deal with customer service. It didn't get that far. Some of their materials are a little high. We wanted to just buy some sheets of melamine or their touch of cedar. It felt cost prohibitive or silly to do that. We're actually painting the issue. But the quality of the actual things that are there is very good. We're happy with the end result.

    The Closet World rep and I had a great time. I told her why I needed what I needed, and she put a design together. It was a very reasonable price. It was a very quick and easy interaction as well. The work was done professionally. I have the two shelf bar and shelving combination in my guest room. In the other room, it's a larger closet. I have two bars on one side, the shelving unit and shelves in the middle, another hanging bar on the other side with another shelf there, and there's room on the top to put stuff, too.

    Closet World's prices are better than other places. I had them do a closet for my master bedroom. My wife is happy with it. The first person that went in and did the measuring was very professional. However, the installation was a pain. They promised me they were gonna be in my home certain days, so I canceled all my plans and stayed there. Then they told me they were running in late. But they showed up at the very last minute and told me they didn't have time to do it that day and that they were gonna have to reschedule. It was a hassle to deal with unprofessional people like that. Also, there could have been a better attitude with the caller and the manager that tried to help me. Closet World needs to improve on the website as well.

    I'm not happy with my experience with Closet World. They didn't do it right. They had to come out and put spaces so it looked like it's seamless but then they put nails in the shelves and it looked like they just patched them and left. They need to do something to fix it. Closet World should have good carpenters that know how to make things look like the pictures they put out.

The design looked great and they did what we wanted to do, and the price point was within the budget that we had allocated for this project. We had some water damage done from a leaking pipe. We were renovating bathrooms to get that fixed. And doing so, we had to remove doors from our closet and do all of that since it affected our closet. We were like, "We have it all open and bare. Why don't we look at getting some closet inserts and make it a little bit nicer looking?" So, that was where we started looking for companies. Closet World came out. The person who came out was fantastic. She drew up the designs right then and there after doing measurements.

    The day after, we asked her to change a couple of things which she did send over to us. Then, we had her come out one more time and she did. So, the customer service was fantastic. We had to push back the installation due to our repair people for the bathrooms taking a little bit longer. Calling Closet World up to get them to change the dates was easy. We got the installation done, and the final product looks good, and we're very happy with it. It's a great construction. It's sturdy. Everything was installed professionally. It was one guy doing it. We were very impressed with his professionalism. He did it in a day. Everything feels great. There are no wobbly parts. The materials are top-notch. The drawers work fantastically. It's an overall great product for the price.

    Closet World offered a 50% off of the product and free installation. The rep came and took the measurements of the closet, and we went over what I was looking for, because I was kind specific on what I wanted. She drew it out, we went over it, and she designed what I wanted with the shelving. She was very helpful because I tried to save some money. Because it would go inside of a reach-in closet, she said, “You could save some money if you don't do backing on it. It’s just gonna sit right up against the wall.” And both the wall and the materials were white. She was good. I was happy with her.

    The installers were a bit late but Closet World called me and said that the installer was at a previous job and ran into some issues with the customer. He was a couple of hours late, but I took the day off so it wasn't an inconvenience. He came and was able to do the installation in an hour and a half. He was good and was very professional.

    I loved Evelyn the designer. She was wonderful, and her personality was sparkling. We looked at my challenge and she understood what I was trying to do. I was torn between putting the closet in two different areas of a room and she convinced me, and rightly so, where to put it, which worked much better. She was very open and creative and thought of different possibilities. She really cared about me and getting the best result for my room. Install day went well too. The closet was installed and nobody had any complaints. I didn't hear anything from my mother, who lives with me, or my son, whose room the closet was being installed. That's all that matters to me. Also, the installers were in and out, and they didn't leave a mess. I didn't have to clean up anything.

    We love the closet. It's great. I compared it with others and thought that the quality was better. Plus, I have more flexibility with the configuration and my son seems to be hanging up his clothes. I would highly recommend Closet World to people. It's a better deal than trying to go through with IKEA themselves, and I hope that they would get Evelyn as well.

    I did quite a bit with Closet World, including a long double desk which was custom-designed for me by Jackie. I did a wall unit surrounding a sofa that was in a fixed place as well, and it has lots of cabinetry. I also did a television unit with a lot of file drawers and storage floors because my parents stay in that room when they visit. The salesperson, Jackie, was fantastic. She listened to everything and drew it all out multiple times for me. I called her back 'cause I changed my mind and she was wonderful and very patient.

    Install day was amazing. The crew had everything with them when they came in, and they were lightning fast. I couldn't believe it. They originally told me it was going to be two days, but they got everything done in one. There were a couple of little issues, some dings on the wall and little holes that ended up happening through the installation. They said not to worry and they'll take care of everything, and it worked out beautifully.

    I recommended Closet World highly. I've sent everybody pictures of my space and it truly looks like it belongs in a magazine. The furniture that we designed fits me, and it's exactly what I wanted in every way. I'm thrilled. I've got a beautiful desk, and I'm happy to be in that room now. I've got a stunning storage area. The project offered a complete transformation of my space. It doesn't even look like it's the same room in any possible way. It is gorgeous, it looks like it belongs in a magazine, and it looks 100% custom-made.

    I love the experience. Closet World's rep was amazing with every detail and very personable, on top of what we wanted and what we were looking for to get. She was very good. The installer came in, installed the product, but I wasn't crazy about the way he installed it because there were a lot of mistakes that he made. He was here by himself and took a long time and he got tired. But when he put a nail in one of them to put two of the boards together and it cracked a bit on top. And on one of them, he didn't put a nail in. He just put caulking over it. I asked, "Did you put the nail in?" He said, "I just put the caulking on it so it doesn't show." It's little things here and there that I wasn't crazy about, but because we paid so much money, we wanted to get our money's worth and wanted it to be excellent.

    If Closet World sends people out to fix closets and do them, they should do it at the warehouse and bring it complete to an extent that one person would be able to complete the job within a timely manner and not getting tired, or they need to put two people on the job for big jobs like this to be able to do it in a timely manner and get things done the proper way as opposed to putting it on one person and just half-assing it. But I'm very happy with the product.

    I'm never gonna use Closet World's service again. My experience was awful. The guy who came to install ripped a big hole in a couple of my closets and he wasn't gonna tell me he ripped the big holes in it. I just happened to be behind him. He punched the whole wall into the next wall. The guy that came in and showed me how it was gonna be designed and look was great but it doesn't look like that at all. It wasn't worth the price of me having to pay all the money. They told me all that they could afford was to get it patched, and they would subtract $400. I had to bring somebody in here to do it right which cost me over $3500. That was just one closet that they tore up.

    I liked the design options that Closet World had as well as the time that was promised it was gonna take. The reps were friendly but the one we got was slightly inexperienced and the design took way longer than what we had expected - about six hours. We did closets for three bedrooms. The price was reasonable and we got some discounts.

    The installation took three to four house. The installers did not have the booties with them, which was bothersome for me because we have carpets. Also, I later found out that there was a mismatch in the color. It actually came with the wrong color but we went ahead with it because I didn't have the paper. I kept it and I found it later. There was some mix-up in the order. But we were okay with other color. It worked out all right and the closets are great. It's much better organized. We're happy.

    I already got an estimate with another company. When Closet World's guy came over, he looked at my closet and asked, "What did the other guy have for you?" I had a copy of it. So, he copied exactly what the other guy would do. They charged me for his service of design, but it wasn't his design. However, they were a bit cheaper. I was told from a designer that the closet would be prepared and cut, and a team would come out and install it. It was a 15' by 5' wide closet. But it was one guy who came, set up his saw in my front yard, and put my closet together. He was awesome. He was nice, explained things to me. Closet World called back to see if I wanted anything else done in my house. And when I explained to the girl that the guy copied everything that the other guy did, she said, "Oh, no, that's not good."

    The lady who came in did a very good job of explaining and designing. But we waited for a very long time to be scheduled for the installation. She came in the month of April and the installation was done in July. When they have to remove some things, they need to be more professional and do it with a little bit of ease. They cannot be rough on things. I had to tell them to do it slowly because they'd scrape the walls. But the overall installation went well. They know what they're doing. The cost with Closet World is higher though.

    The designer from Closet World was very flaky and her email was very poorly written. It was not so good professionally and she kept pushing me to call corporate office for corrections. She knew her stuff but she wasn't very attentive and communicative. The other thing was, there was a case where a measurement was not right. I noticed it the next day after the quote was done and I even took a picture, which I sent to her, then did some measurements. She said that she got it, but it was not fixed. Closet World was flexible a little bit but they were very strict with the rules. The three-day policy after you place the order, allowing to change, is ridiculous and too short. When the gentleman called me about the issue, I explained what happened and he was very good about that.

    Other than that, they did a little bit of a bad job to cut part of our window blinds a little bit, plus they forgot to tell the techs to reverse the bottom half of the desk, which was the cabinet space that we got approved. I had to sign it off with the change. But luckily, my wife was here, with a bad foot, and she reminded them to reverse it before they got the installation. The account person was apologetic but he sent me two shelves to put at my cabinet, which was sent out a couple of days ago, and now, UPS cannot give me any tracking which usually means that they lost it.

    The product is great. The long closet goes from wall to wall and there were a lot of parts. I had two dressers installed the same day, too. The installer told me when he would be there. He called ahead of time. He showed up on time. It was so hot. The house didn't have air in it yet. He was in a button-up shirt, looked professional.     I had three closets installed by Closet World in the bedroom. The designer knew what he was talking about. The only issues came when the install started. It took three days, and three separate people. Equipment was forgotten. I had to help bring stuff in, which was annoying. I didn't hear from the designer again. I wouldn't recommend Closet World to anyone. The first day when the installer was here, someone took a piece of machinery out of his truck that he uses to cut the rods. So, he wasn't able to add the rods. So He took measurements of the rods for the next guy who came. When he came, those measurements were incorrect. So, they had to send another guy the next day. The closets look good but based on the experience, you can get the same closet for less of a headache.

    Working with their designer was excellent. The process was easy and the designer was easy to talk to and accommodating. I had an idea of what I wanted and they kind of copied that and gave me recommendations on things that I missed, what would be good, and what wasn't good. I find it very insightful. For the installation, they had two gentlemen show up with the entire kit. They were very professional, clean, and efficient. Everything that they said would happen happened and they were in and out in a few hours and did a great job. The finished product is better than I thought and quality-wise, the materials were excellent. I would recommend Closet World, especially for the cost -- not the original cost, though. But the discounts made it affordable.

    It took a minute for a rep to come because Hollister was a new area for them. But they were very nice. The rep helped us figure out what we wanted to do. She asked us what our price range was and she was very cautious about keeping us within that. She helped us reorganize the closet and pick what we wanted. Even when the finish I wanted was the more expensive one, she got the authorization to give us a discount on it. Working with her was a very good experience.     I had Closet World at the back of my mind. When they had a sale, I thought, “Now is the time. Let me call them.” I had a project I needed to get done. When the rep came, she was amazing. She had a lot of knowledge. We took care of it that day, even in between me being so busy with the care I was giving to my brother. And she was quiet. She just did her thing and designed a nice laundry room for me.

    I didn't know exactly what I was doing, but I knew what I wanted to get done. I also had a busy day. I told her, “This is the space. This is the area that I'm gonna do. If you could take some measurements, and then you can go and design some things. And you can come back another day and show me what you've got. We'll figure this out later.” She said, “No problem. I've got this.” By the time I went back to see what she was doing, she said, “I would like you to sign this and just to show that I was here.” I was surprised with what she did. I said, “These are the colors. This is the whatever.” And she said, “I have some things out in my car if you wanna give me a few more minutes.”

    The installation was more difficult. I was bummed out with the scheduling. But once things got going, it was amazing. They did a great job. I would recommend the two gentlemen that came to the house. They were very polite and professional. They knew exactly what they were doing. All they asked me was what exactly was that one detail change that needed to be done. So, I told them. They said, “Okay. We've got it.” They went in and took care of everything. They framed it up and let me know, “This is what it's gonna look like. This area is gonna have this. This is where it's gonna be,” and showed me by measurements. And they kept going. They said it had a warranty on it, which I thought was a long time. My daughter would say to everyone that has come, “Look what we did to the laundry room,” and would show it off all the time. Everyone who has seen it was just as pleased as I am.

    I had a designer come in and upon her recommendation, we totally gutted three closets and rebuilt them. I compared how much space I would be gaining with the new design and ensured it met my needs. Between two closets in the master bedroom, I had a large closet and a smaller one. For the large closet, I had ready Louver doors, and in the middle, I had a bunch of drawers and a vanity-type look. The installers gutted the left closet and put in a nice shelving set with split levels in between. The left side of the shelves goes back into the closet a little bit because they're not walk-in closets; it's an older home. On the right side, I had split levels put in, and the shelves are about 3 feet wide, which is perfect for what my husband needs.

    On the other side of the vanity is my closet. I have two. I had shelving put in and we figured out what to do with my shoes. So, it's the whole shoe thing and I can put about four pairs side by side. One-third of the closet is split-level. I had the same thing done in the guest bedroom as with mine. But they had to knock some stuff out, too. In the guest bedroom, the closet is deep so I had wooden boxes put in to slide in my shoes. So, they took everything out and started from scratch. It was good.

    I was very happy with the quality of the work done. One of the things that was an incentive was it was quick and easy. The gal who did the assessment was experienced. She took a look at it, did all the measurements and told me the space I was not using versus how much space I would be gaining. It was easy for me to see how it was a great decision. I could have chosen the quality that I wanted and probably a lesser one but I could have gone much greater, and it would have been great, which is very good.

    Closet World was giving away a 40% discount and I like how the designer drew the product was exactly the way it came out. It was good to get something that you wanted and something that you approved. It was very precise. We used to have a room that was used for a bedroom, but my mom had her guys break the wall between her room and this other room that was behind her room to make it into a walk-in closet. So, she made this big, about 800 square feet room into a closet, and then we put the shelves of the closet and the hangers. We did the middle island. The installation went very well. They installers did have a little hiccup with something in the closet. The size was off on one of the whole thing. So, we called the designer, and then she fixed it, and then it was perfect. I would recommend Closet World.

    Closet World was supposedly having a sale. It was 50% off. I did five closets and these are storage to organize the garage. These are for my mom's house and I'm the one who's paying for it. It's expensive. The designer didn't design well. He measured the right side of the garage wrong. Right now, we're still not having doors in the drawers. He measured it too high. Now they need to make a smaller door because the rail of the garage door will hit. It's a disaster.

    The manager is trying to work with it. The first two closets in the garage are gonna have shorter doors. The other one in the middle will have a regular door. The other ones by the door to enter the house were not made at the size of where they have to be. My mom doesn't like the idea to have two small doors and the other one taller. It's gonna look messy. Also, I have these wire baskets or racks to put storage stuff on top. It's like a basket but it's all in the ceiling. I asked the designer if it was gonna be underneath the wire or the shelf from the ceiling. He said, "Yeah, it's gonna be like this and this." I asked them and I wanted to make sure. He put it differently in the paper so I was confused. I know it was my mistake to not ask them for more details on it. It's too much going on.

    The first time I scheduled an appointment for Closet World to come out and give me an estimate, they canceled half an hour before the appointment. That turned me off and I didn't even reschedule because that was such a turn-off. Then they called me about four weeks later, and I was still in the market. I told them that they could come out and give me an estimate, but I also told them what happened.

    When the designer came out, she was at least half an hour late and that put me off. But she apologized and she didn't give any excuses, which I appreciated, and we started working. Later she said, "Well, to be honest, I just got the call this morning to come out here. It was a last minute call for me." I knew the area that she was coming from and there's a lot of traffic from that area. She was really, really wonderful. She turned me around. I really appreciated her. She was very kind. I told her what I wanted, but she thought something else would give me the better space that I wanted. She had good ideas. I had three closets done. One of them was a hall closet, and now, it's more like a pantry. It gives me a lot more space. I'm in a townhome, so there's not a lot of space. The designer also listened to what my daughter wanted in her closet.

    The installation was really smooth. The installers got there within the window that they said they would be there. They put the closet together and got it done within the time frame they had said it would take. They were polite, pleasant, and professional. The final product worked for me. It's quality for what I needed. In the end, I was satisfied. I have one more closet to do and if I would do it, it would be with Closet World.

    I was in need of an organized closet. The Closet World designer was okay. But some things were misunderstood as the project went on. Whatever it was that we misunderstood, the price was different to make the adjustment. They came out and fixed it, and it was $1,000. We're still missing shelving that went in the other closet. I emailed the manager twice, and I haven't yet heard from him to find out if he received my email to send me my shelves that I'm missing.

    I had Closet World come to our house a couple of years ago and I was happy with it. When I did more closets, I called them. I had wooden shelves, drawers, racks for belts and scarves installed in the bedroom. I also got shelves that I can stack up my detergents and soap for the laundry room. It's still there after 20 years. The installation was good. The installers were on time. But every time I install a closet, I see one shelf out of place, or one drawer that's supposed to be lower is higher. There's always a little bit of deviation to the agreed sketch.

    Closet World was offering 50% off. But the advertisement that they were giving didn't match up. It was a false advertisement because when they come to your house, they don't show you the exact price. They're just writing the price down and telling you that you got 50% off. There's no catalog and they don’t give you something that you could look at.

    They then take your deposit. The first time, they took my deposit and they didn't call me back or schedule any type of meeting with me for over two months. I had to actually call to see what was going on. That was my first interaction with Closet World. I ended up just getting my deposit back because they didn't do anything. They didn't plan anything or follow up after two months.

    I ended up giving Closet World a second chance. The sales rep seemed like she was a little bit more reputable. She came into my house and looked at my closet. I showed her how I wanted everything to look. When she wrapped it up on the paper, she didn't do it how I asked her to, so there was some confusion. Usually, if you're spending a lot of money with someone, you want to be able to clarify everything before making the customer sign the dotted line. That wasn't the case.

    When the installer guys showed up, they were already very frustrated. They were complaining about being overworked and they just started going straight to work. After they put up one unit in my main closet, I was telling them that the top shelf was supposed to come all the way out. I showed the lady when she came that these are the size containers that I have that I needed to come over. My containers are now hanging off way over the edge because she didn't do the things at the top that I had asked.

    When I mentioned it to the sales rep, she said, “Oh, that's gonna be an additional price and we're gonna have to set a date for them to come out to do that.” I was fine with that. I spoke with the supervisor and the supervisor said they could come back. They have set a date set out for two weeks. I said, “Well, I took off work today and tomorrow to do this. So why would we do two weeks?” But he said they didn't have that available. We were on the phone for 10 minutes. He called me back 30 minutes later and he goes, “Hey, they're gonna finish up the two closets upstairs, and they're gonna come back tomorrow to finish the garage.” That didn’t make any sense.

    The installer guys were in a rush and they left without cleaning up. They didn't show me how to work everything and how to reinstall. You're supposed to be able to do the shelves at different levels and they didn't show me that. The drawers were really hard to open too. The installer put it on the wrong shelf. The closets in my son's room were missing the shelves. The installer just put all the shelves down and didn't stack them up. They also didn't put an additional anchoring on the back. I watched the installation video so I saw what they were supposed to do and what it was supposed to look like. They didn't do any of that. The next day, they came and they were supposed to be doing my garage. The guy got there at eight o'clock and waited for his partner to come. His partner didn't show up until twelve o'clock, so he was three hours late and they got into a little argument.

    I told them that they didn't clean up the upstairs and that they didn't put the anchors. A guy comes upstairs and he's supposed to finish the garage. The other guy ended up leaving because he said he had another job to do. The guy that went upstairs cleaned and put the anchorings up. He put the shelves up in my son's room and said, "I don't understand why you need all this anchoring.” I told him the installation video showed that it was supposed to have anchoring for extra support. He goes, “Yeah, but we're not building a house. It's just a closet.” I said, “I understand you're saying it's just a closet, but it's my closet. I spent $8,000 on this closet so I wanna make sure that it's stable. I don't understand what the big deal is.” He said he was just gonna do it

    He then went into the master bedroom closet. I was watching him do the work and I was trying to make sure that it was done because the day before, they were rushing. They weren’t trying to give me quality work. It's like they were backed up and they had a lot of work to do. The guy ended up calling me crazy. I'm like, “Wait. What? Why are you calling me crazy? I paid for this. I'm expecting to get the service.” he went, “Well, no, I wasn’t talking about you. I was just talking about this job...”

    I could also smell alcohol in his breath. He ended up storming out and he left his drill. He was supposed to get me to sign some kind of paper. He left that. When the supervisor called me and said, “Hey, the guy left a paper that you're supposed to sign. Can you sign it?” I go, “Well, no. The job's not finished. The other guy that was supposed to finish the garage took off leaving. He left as soon as the other guy came. I guess they were frustrated. They got into an argument.” I told him what happened. At this point, I was frustrated and didn't feel safe. Why are they attacking me over a service that I paid for?

    I talked to a supervisor and Closet World didn't offer me any incentive. The next morning, the guy comes back to my house unannounced. I was at work but I have cameras in my house. I took a picture of him at my door and he was holding on to the drill that I left outside. he didn't come back to get it until the very next day. My house is not a storage. You’re supposed to make sure the job was done. You're supposed to finish the garage. I ended up paying somebody else to just finish the garage because at that point, I didn't want Closet World back in my house. It was strike three for me, so it was over.

    Closet World contacted me about the guys coming back to finish and I said I won't have anybody else back in my house. They were not even offering anything. It was not a matter of the customer’s right. I've been in business for years. If the customer isn't happy, you always want to offer them something. Closet World makes so much money. They're already overcharging me for closet stuff that they said was gonna be 50% off and I never even got to see the original price for anything. It's a big scam. I don't know if the product is worth $8,000 ‘because I could have gotten all this from the container store for cheaper.

    Closet World's management is horrible. They should pay their employees and they should stop triple booking on days. They overwork their employees and they're getting upset and going off on customers. And they can't finish the job. They can't do quality work. Closet World should hire people that are professional and on time. They should make sure that customers have a breakdown of the prices and that they fully understand what they're paying for. They should show the customer the design and walk them through the closet.

    The design rep was wonderful and we’ve become friends. She gave me a lot of options. She drew everything out and asked me how we operate as a family as well as our lifestyle because we did the garage and two closets. She made sure that I had enough hanging space. The installers came on time and were done very quickly. There was an ADT security box so they could not install one last piece of my master bedroom closet so I got that removed. They came back yesterday and they were done in five minutes. The products are pretty and clean.

    We're moving today into the new house and it's everything that I want it to be. I can breathe. I've got two teenage boys, two dogs and a husband and we've got a lot of stuff that needs to be stored. The whole back of the garage is floor-to-ceiling storage and the closets are completely functional now. I expected the price to be a lot more and it's great value for what I got.     Closet World had an advertising that the pricing 50% off. They were cheaper than everybody else and I wanted to see what they could do. I'm doing a house that I'm remodeling in Big Bear, California. The house is going completely modern and in the woods. It's an Airbnb and I'm limited on space where I can put a dresser. When I originally bought the place, they had bunk beds in the bedroom but they had a dresser in the closet. I'm not going to put dressers in the closet. That just seems tacky. I was gonna go ahead and build some shelving and have a company come out and design something for the closet. That's what I did with Closet Worl.

    It was the same thing in the laundry room. There wasn't a lot of space for all the towels and everything was placed. There was a closet but it wasn't really used at all. I was gonna make shelving out of it because there were no cabinets. I had Closet World come out and I was already sold on the advertisement of it all because the couple of places that I had spoken to were a lot more expensive. I was already sold on it and also Closet World is more of a commercial place and more of a mass production. The other places that we were dealing with were a little bit more specific. They build into whatever it is that you were doing. I wanted something in-between a very expensive cabinet and a very cheap cabinet.

    When the person who came to design the closets came, I talked to her and she was very knowledgeable. She was confident in what she was doing. She told me about how much experience, yadda, yadda, and made me feel very comfortable. I didn't question anything. I figured she was a designer. Most of the designers I've worked with get a feel of what you're looking for by sense of what you're doing. I was going very modern and high-end home. I figured she got the vibe of what I was doing.

    I let her go ahead and build the design because I wasn't quite sure of how it would look or how it would work. That was my mistake. She asked at the beginning, "How much do you want to spend?" I said, "I don't really know. Because I want to see what you got. I'm assuming I don't want to be too cheap and I don't want to be too expensive. But I don't really have a limit of what I want to spend. I want to see what your offer is." She put something together and gave me an offer. That sounded great and we just kept moving forward.

    But at no point did she show me what types of materials we were using other than basically showing me a simple drawing that she had done. You couldn't really tell from the drawing exactly what it was gonna look like. I really couldn't picture it from her drawing. Once the closet was installed, I was pretty pissed because it was all Home Depot material. I could have done this myself. That was not really my intention to put in a cheap closet when I am doing a high-end home.

    The person who quoted me the service was pretty good in taking the time to figure out what I needed. She let me ask questions. That was the best part of the process. It just took a while for me to execute the design with schedule, availability and then funding and how much everything costs. So, there was a gap between when we did the design and when we did the install. The installers knocked the job out fairly fast. The incident started when I first called and tried to establish an install date. They said somebody would call me back but that never happened. Plus, they immediately started charging my card. I called back and say, “Hey, somebody’s supposed to call me to set the installation date.” They transferred me four times and it was like, “Oh, yeah. Well, we had to make sure 50% of the order was processed before we give you install date.” I said, “That's fine and dandy. But can we have a conversation?”

    Also, the quality is a bit cheaper than what I expected. One of my sons barely touched one of the shelves said the holes are already starting to be worn out in one section. So, I don't think it's gonna last years. I won't be using Closet World again. I didn't like some of the internal processes. Every time I called them to ask questions or bring up an issue, they transferred me four times. It got old after a while. Their attitude isn't very customer friendly. When I spend money, I expect quality. I'm a down-to-earth person, but simple customer courtesy goes a long way.

    Closet World looked like a good deal so I went with them. I liked the price. I did a bedroom closet. Two people came to our home, the salesperson and then the person who installed the closet. They were great. I thought for a second I had gotten ripped off and it was a fraudulent business only because I hadn't received any notification. I've gotten more notification after than I did when I spent my money. It was odd. I didn't get a confirmation. But then the guy showed up without a uniform, which was weird too. I had to verify because he had a truck that was Closet World and I just felt more comfortable. The installer was efficient and got in and out.

    I've seen Closet World's 50% off ads forever. Aside from them, I looked into California Closets, some other custom closet places, and had quotes from four or five different places. I ended up with Closet World for two things. They were cheaper and I'm price-conscious. For this particular project, it didn't need to be nice. It just needed to be done. The second reason is they handled carrying out and cleaning up the old closet system. California Closets did not. That would have been an extra $700 expense for me. That was what really made the difference in going with them.

    The installation was for a primary bedroom closet. We were also looking at the laundry room. Ultimately, they weren't able to design a laundry room and I found an entirely different solution for it. But the project that we completed was the primary bedroom closet. Their designer was good. If not, a little excessively pushy, which I didn't like. They do this shtick with their 50% off sale that they always say is expiring that day, which it obviously isn't. While we were sitting there, I got three more ads for them about the same sale that said it went through the entire month. They kept doing a lower price if we can close the contract today as well, which I thought was uncomfortably high pressure. The price did keep getting better so it was fair enough. It was just the unnecessary sales tactic that was annoying.

    On the other hand, I was satisfied with the work the installer did. The project came out looking nicer than I had expected it to. But the gentleman that did it was unfriendly and seemed very unhappy with his job. He arrived five hours late from their scheduled time. The company had scheduled him to do something really far away from our place, like on the opposite side of Los Angeles, and that went over time. He had to drive all the way down to Long Beach very late to our side.

    After he completed the work, it was 5:00 in the evening at that point and he said he still had to drive up for yet another project. At that time of day, it would have been a two-hour drive in traffic. He seemed unhappy with his work and I felt bad making him do something but it was what we paid for. It just made absolutely no sense the way he was scheduled to be in so many different places that are so far apart. It was just bizarre.

    Overall, it was a mixed bag where I'm happy with the closets I got and happy with the price, but they were their first enemy every step of the way. If they have had the same price with lower pressure sales, little more customer friendly, and they treat their workers better, it would have been a really positive experience. Instead, it was like, "I'm happy with what I got, but I hated every moment of the transaction."

    There were other twists and turns along the way where the contract got all mixed up and their customer service was a mess about it. Closet World kept saying a manager would call me back and the manager didn't call me back. They missed their first schedule appointment and they had to reschedule. They didn't have us cleared in the system to proceed. My sales agent who was good and was working with me was powerless. Once the contract's signed, it was handed off to a different team. You can only get to them through customer service and their customer service was not great. But the closet got done and it got done well and the price was good.

    I don't know if I would go back to them because it was such a hassle going through it. I might pay up more to not deal with the roller coaster. All in all, they did fine but they were their own worst enemy and did some things that were just stupid, like empower the people at customer service to actually do something rather than refer to a manager who then never has time to do anything.

    Closet World's sales person was really good and engaging. When she came and talked to us, it was like talking to family. She was really good to work with. We installed a shoe cabinet in the living room to put shoes in as you come in the house. We converted five closets and added something like a hutch with drawers. We also did glass doors in the bathroom. The installation went pretty well. The one thing was there were two glass doors that were in front of shelving and one of them was obviously defective. It has a scratch through it. I would have thought the crew would catch it on the install. But that's neither here nor there. They thought it was okay but for the money, I didn't think it was okay. I called it out and Closet World wrote it up and replaced in a couple of weeks. Everything went fine.

    We also noticed that on the doors, they weren't soft-closing hinges. I was told, "Yeah, these are regular hinges. If you wanted soft-closing hinges, then those are extra." For the job, I assumed I was gonna get that. I called the office again and they told me that it was gonna be an upcharge for what I wanted. It was several hundred dollars. We took care of it. That should have been dealt with up front. That was a little annoying. The was another thing along that line. I noticed that when you open those doors, the two of them bang into a wall that they're next to. I emailed the office and I said, "Is there anything that can be done?" All I heard back was, no. I would have liked to have known that. That aside, the quality overall is good.

    The sales lady was very nice and the price was good. But unfortunately, the quality is terrible. I had another assignment to have something else built, but I called Closet World to cancel it. It was still in holding. It was terrible customer service. I wouldn't recommend it to anybody. I had a room and a brand new closet built in there. The floor was done and I had baseboards. The Closet World installers came in and they had to take the baseboards out where the closet was. Instead of scoring the paint to the sealer to the baseboards, they ripped all the paint off so I have to repaint the bottom inside the walls where they put the shelves. The caps that they put on the actual doors on the very top of the drawer to make it round and the paint don't even match. If you're building this from scratch in an open room, things should be a lot tighter and neater. But there are gaps where some of the shelves were. It's terrible.

    When I called to cancel my other assignment, they told me that it was over three days and that I couldn't get my deposit back. I told them that I never signed that paperwork. So I said. “I'm signing this now, so the three days start from my signature now because you never got my signature at the time of the deposit for the three day refund policy.” I'm not using Closet World ever again. I won't recommend them.

    We weren't told in the sales process that when they demo, we were gonna need to either do some patching or painting or purchase your backboard. The guy took everything out and then asked us what we wanted to do and we were dumbfounded. If I'd known, I could have hired somebody to repair. We had to scramble and start looking for wallpaper. We weren't prepared for what the project would entail. So that created more anxiety and stress. It could have been handled so much better.

    When you do the demo, you're gonna leave holes and the drywall ripped apart. But Closet World didn't set our expectations about what we would need to do to have it aesthetically appealing. The installer was gracious and he was not a problem. He just had to be the one to deliver that message at the time. He didn't want to install it and then we'd be dissatisfied with what it looks like because you can see all of the horrible patchwork. So we wouldn't have gotten what we would have expected out of the product.

    We had to decide whether we were gonna try to patch and paint ourselves and whether we were gonna have them throw it on up there anyway, or whether we're gonna try to patch it ourselves in wallpaper or try to hire somebody. The installer worked with us, but it created a lot of anxiety. We ran around to four different Joann's trying to get what they had in stock and trying to get enough of it at the same time so that it would match.

    It was also a surprise that we had to purchase another shelf in the closet so that our electrical equipment could sit on it. But the major thing was that the installer told us that he had to charge us to take away all of the stuff he demoed and pulled out. We were not told that either. He said the only thing he could advise us to do would be to call somebody to see if they would waive it. But I don't know who to call.

    I had my master bedroom refitted to have new rods, new shoe cubby closet space, and drawers installed. The Closet World designer was excellent. She designed the entire closet. She was very pleasant and professional. I could get a sense that she cared about what I wanted. Every kind of direction I gave her, she worked off of that. So it was a really good experience, and I attribute it mostly to her. She even checked up on the closet a week after installation to see if we were happy with the results and check in with me. That was incredible for a company to have a representative like that. It went a long way with me. It totally sold me on it. She was the best.

    The installation was much quicker than I thought it would be because they arrived at 2:00 p.m. and they were finished within three hours. So I was really impressed with how much they got done in the amount of time. Everything turned out great. The technicians were super nice. They answered all of my questions. I have beautiful hardwood floors and they didn't cause any damage, and that was important. There were no scuffs or scratches. They did a great job at demoing the existing closet that was there.

    I thought I might need to repatch my walls and that there might be holes, but it was very, very minimal. It just needs a little bit of touch-up paint. There was one drawer that looked askew, and they tweaked it. There was one scratch, and they were able to kind of fill it on the spot it wasn't noticeable. So they were a really good crew. I would 100% do it again. It looks incredible. It makes my life a lot more organized and stress-free. Even though it's just a closet, it did a big overhaul for me and my husband. We're very happy with the results. It was a lot easier than I thought it would be. It was a lot less invasive than we had thought it would be.

    I had Closet World about 15 years ago. I had mirrored closet doors put in. I also had cabinets above the washer and dryer put in. Then I had a desk that I had put in too. I wanted everything to look consistent. Recently, I had my hot water heater pulled out of the house and put outside. So I wanted a broom closet put in next to where my desk is in my laundry room, and I wanted it to look consistent as far as the same whiteness and the melamine. So I went with Closet World this time. But it was another horror story revisited.

    They measured the closet doors for the small closet. It's a two-door, mirrored door. It took them three times to get it right. The first time, the doors had a two-inch gap between the two mirrors. So they didn't overlap. They took it away. But when they came back, it was too big. On the third time that they did it, they finally got it right. Then they moved on to my laundry room. I asked for little cubby holes to go above so I could put papers in and I can grab papers out right above where you work. They put it in but there were no cubby holes. So they had to come back. They had to redesign the whole thing and put cubby holes in. I wanted a frosted glass. You can't see through it. But it was also wrong, so they had to redo that. It was a horrible, horrible experience.

    When they came for the broom closet, my husband told me that they didn't have certain things with them and the installer told him that they would be back. It was almost two weeks later before they could rearrange to come back and do it. When the guy came back, I said, “I wanted a section on the left of the cabinet for the broom closet so I could put my brooms in and my vacuum cleaner and stuff like that. And then on the right side I wanted little cubbies. And then on top, taller than the broom, I wanted two regular shelves.” The guy looked at me like I had six heads. I showed him a picture that I found on the internet. He said, “Okay. Well, I'll take care of you for that. I'll do it for you.” It really annoyed me.

    When the guy was done, I said that I was satisfied and that I needed to pay him. But he went out to the truck and he said that Closet World already paid themselves last week. So before the job was done, they paid themselves because they had my credit card number. That pissed me off. I have a filing cabinet drawer in my desk area, and then a regular drawer to put pencils and stuff like that in. For some reason, it's coated and it was peeling off. So it was going down to the naked wood. Closet World tried to blame that it was in the laundry room area because of the humidity. Then the the designer that came in called me back and said she would replace those for me. So I'm looking back 20 years to see if I could find a receipt. But when I called in, they had my receipt. So they knew that they did the job 20 years ago.

    Closet World was running a promotion for free installation, free delivery, or 50% off. We contacted them and got a quote. When the installers came the first time, there was a little bit of an issue. They came upstairs and they did their own measurements versus the measurements that the sales rep did. Someone was explaining to me that the sales reps only take one measurement across while the installers do three different ones in three different areas because there's no such thing as a perfectly measured closet where all the walls are equal. That was not a problem.

    We had just finished remodeling our upstairs. The bedroom was where the closet was gonna be installed. The guy who did our room primed and painted. He also textured our closet walls and put a 6-inch base molding. When the sales rep came, he said we had two options. He said, “Option number one is we cut your base molding pretty much where we're gonna put the closet and the closet just slides right in.” I asked if they charged for that to which he said, “No. We do not charge for that. We just have to let you know that we cut it. But we measure it properly. We put caulking where we cut and everything. So, wherever you're gonna see the molding, that's gonna be intact, and that's fine. It's just the closet slides in.”

    The second option I was given was gonna cost me more money. I was told, “Option B was we cut the back almost like an L or number seven shape, and the closet slides in. But we don't take out your moldings.” They will just cut the bottom of the closet where it will fit over the molding. I said, “You know what? Not really attached to this molding, so don't worry about it. So, let's go ahead and just cut it.” I asked if there was gonna be any paint peeling and if they did touch-up work. The rep said they don't do touch-up work. However, the closet is gonna slide right in and I was not gonna see anything because I'm gonna have the backing of the closet. That was a deal. I wrote him the check, 50% off.

    The rep said I would hear from them in three weeks. That's usually their window for installation. In three weeks, the installers came and I showed them where the closet was going upstairs. The installer said the same thing about having to cut the molding. I told him not to worry/ I told him, "But the guy told me I'm not gonna see anything ‘cause the closet's gonna slide right in.” He said I was gonna see something. He's like, “Well, you have 6-inch base moldings. That's pretty high. The bottom of the closet that we install is only maybe 2 to 3 inches, like 2.5 inches from the ground up...So, when we slide it in, you're gonna see it.” I was scratching my head. How was I gonna see it if they were gonna put a closet in there? I asked, “But doesn't the backing cover that?” That was when everybody got on the same page. He said I didn't have backing. I started seeing a little red. That was not right.

    He asked where my contract was as well as the receipt for the contract. I gave them to him and he looked. He said, “Ah, see right here." It is checked no for backing in the tiniest print ever. "So, you didn't get backing.” I said, “First of all, I didn't check that. The sales rep must have checked that. All I did was sign the receipt.” The sales rep explained to me that I was getting backing yet he checked "no backing". I found out there was a reason for that. Backing is expensive and it’s not included in that initial thing. I had the installer get his manager on the phone. I was just defeated that day. The guy was like, “Well, we can handle this two ways. Number one is you get the backing, which is extra. Or b) we install your closets today and we come back like a week or so later and put this trim at the bottom where you don't see where we ripped out your molding and the differential and paint.”

    Our closet was standard white colored. The closet walls that we had painted were super semi-gloss bright white. It was definitely not the same color. The guy was explaining that people normally get the backing because the back of their closet walls have either holes in them or they're patched or they got paint. In my case, I was thinking the backing looked amazing. When the sales guy rep came and he showed me his booklet of all the beautiful closets, I said I wanted that and I specifically pointed to the one that's all-white, enclosed, and has backing.

    I then told the guy that the trim thing was not gonna work out for us. Not only that, I was also going to have to pay for that. He told me that that trim thing is almost $400. I was like, “Are you kidding me? First of all, your sales rep pretty much, in my opinion, falsely advertised what he was selling... And now you're telling me I gotta pay for this trim thing, which is gonna probably look ugly.” I went back to asking what the other option was again. That was them not installing that day. The backing would have to be cut properly for my measurements, so we ended up waiting three weeks.

    My wife and I have a baby on the way and it was a scheduled C-section. This was June something and we had enough time. We wanna get it done before the kid arrives. I asked how much the backing was and was told it was $1,800. I'm like, “Are you kidding me? Is this magic backing?” The material was sawdust and I can probably go to Home Depot. It was that thin cardboard that goes on the back of dressers. But I have to find the right white to match. I can paint it but I don't know the specific white. My thing was, I'm paying for this. 1,800 was crazy when this whole closet cost me 2,290. And it was only four different closets. It was one big semi walk-in where we had one side with shelves and then we had hangers. It was going to be four different areas that needed backing.

    The guy said, "Well, let me see what I can do.” He brought it down to 1,280. At that point, my wife and I were pissed. But we really didn't have other options. When I said to cancel the whole thing, I found that the check I wrote was non-refundable. Because of all this and that sleazy sales rep, I couldn't cancel. I would have lost $1,145 ‘cause that's what I paid upfront. Needless to say, this was a horrible experience. I ended up saying, “Fine. Let's just do the backing." It was still another three weeks for the installation but the guy said, “I’ll keep a look out for stuff if we have something sooner.” They did have something sooner in two and a half weeks.

    The next day, I had a good night’s sleep and had a fresh mind. I called this guy back and told him that I was just not happy with the 1,280. I appreciated what he tried to do for me but I wanted to speak to somebody higher up, He said that would be the district manager. He said he was gonna have a district manager call me. A week went by and nobody called me. I was communicating and I had copies of all the emails. I said, “What's going on, man? This is getting ridiculous that not one person can just give me a callback.” They started branching out and reaching out to other district managers that can give me a call. Almost another week went by and nobody called me.

    Finally, the guy responded and said, “I apologize. I did speak with the district manager. He can give you another $200 off if you would like.” I honestly wanted more than that but at this point, it didn't appear like anybody wanted to talk to me. I said, "Fine. Let's just do it for 1,080 and call it a day.” An installer came and he was here for six hours. He was supposed to get here between 12:00 and 2:00 but he showed up at 3:00 p.m. He didn't leave till 9 o'clock. When I asked what was going on, he said, “Well, they didn't take proper measurements. I had to go out outside and literally cut every single piece of metal for your hangers.” He didn't even finish the job.

    According to him, t“Everything's functional. The only thing we're missing is just the caulking on the sides and putting the trim on all the sides. I can't do that. It’s 9 o'clock... I'm not gonna make you sign anything. This job is not considered done. So, tomorrow, I'll put the notes in. And my manager will call you. And we'll set up a time for somebody to come back to your house.” It was crazy. Within four days, two more people showed up to do trim and caulking. Finally, the job was done after I paid a total of 3,200. It wasn't a fun experience. In the end, the closet looks great and we're happy with at least the final finished product. The quality is fine. It's not like your typical go-to Lowe's or Home Depot type of closet that you can get for $300. I can see that the wood itself is quality.

    The installer came in by himself. He came in pretty late, so you can tell he was exhausted. Then he did not leave my house around 9:00. But he was okay. During the installation, I kept seeing stuff that needed to fixed. I could tell he had a long day and he said, “If you find something, just call them.” But I told him, “No. You're here. You need to fix it. I'm not gonna call nobody.” It was kind of a rush rush person.

    After the installation, I noticed that in one area, I have a shelf above the rod that when the designer put the mark, I did not know. She never mentioned that it was not gonna come with the shelf. She did not give me the options, so I thought it was gonna be coming with the shelf above each rod but did not. I won't recommend Closet World. I would tell people to get different prices. I paid 3,500 and that's a lot for that thing.

    This is our second time using Closet World and when the lady came by, she was very easy to work with. I really liked what she had to offer and I trust the service and the product. I purchased an organizer for the closet that'll allow my daughter to hang clothes at a double level and also has drawers and shelving. The installer was very nice and he knew exactly what he was doing. When I discovered that the design didn't really match what he was doing, he explained the reason why it couldn't be done. I ended up working with one of the representatives on the phone about it but he seemed really honest and hardworking. He cleaned up afterwards and I appreciated that.

    The only thing is I reached out to the initial designer because she was supposed to get back to me about some items that I wanted. I had also done my garage and I needed some items for it. I left messages and she never called me back. Then, I called customer service. I had paid for a corner shelf that they were unable to provide and I got a refund for that. The rep also gave me additional money for the inconvenience.

    I've used Closet World before and I went with them a second time because of the quality and the speed that they get the job done. The designer was amazing. She listened to me carefully and designed the closet with me on the spot. She understood exactly what I needed and had some ideas that I hadn't thought of. I was really happy with it and I liked her a lot. They did the closet with a desk, hanging shelves, shoe racks, and a whole bunch of stuff. It's a full bedroom closet and the installation was really easy. They came and I was able to work with them to locate exactly where an outlet behind the desk needed to go.     Closet World helped me with my master bedroom closet. They did two sets of built-in drawers and lots of shelving and hanging. They did a good job. The installation was kind of weird, though. The installer was very nice but he was sort of all over the place. Also, the material got damaged so he had to come back. He was just here yesterday and he had to fix 15 different pieces. They could have better quality materials and they could get it right the first time.

    My husband saw that Closet World had a deal going on so I put out there on Facebook if anybody has had experience with Closet World and the feedback was good. We set up an interview with Closet World and go through everything. The young lady we spoke with seemed to know her product and she would call a couple of mentors, which I like. I had a lot of input and I went with her recommendations. But I had an issue with her measurements.

    The installers did the laundry room and I said I wanted to be able to hang up some clothes in there to dry and a folding table in there, which one of the doors coming out was going to be an ironing board and that was very important to me. It was on my designs. The installer took his own measurements and realized there was gonna be an issue with one corner and I was not gonna be able to have my folding table, my ironing board, upper cabinets, and lower cabinets because of the measurements. It was gonna hit the door. He contacted management and they took care of it. I made a decision to eliminate this other wall and everything else fit. I got my hanging stuff so I was very happy about that.

    The second room we wanted done is a big room that they had. It had to be split between my husband being able to do his bills and household stuff and the other wall would be my vanity. I wanted pull-out drawers for filing cabinets and my husband's own little area. And I showed the designer the space and what I needed. I told her about the height and that I wanted to keep the stool that I had. Before the installers came to do this room, I called her and told her I was a little concerned about her measurements. I asked that she revisit my husband's desk and my vanity before the installers come back out in two weeks. She reassured me that it was not a problem and I was in communication with the management for the installation.

    When the installers brought the materials out, my vanity went up first and the middle portion gave me such a little area. It looked like it should have been for a teenager. And it was gonna be high like a bar stool but they lowered it. Also, I noticed my doors on the bottom. They were pull-ups and they weren't supposed to be on my vanity. The man said they could take those out and that it was gonna be an easy fix. Again, I had to compromise and go with what I had. But everything else is beautiful -- the drawers, the space.

    Then, it was time for my husband's side of the wall and I kept popping in because I was a little concerned. Rightfully so, because it was exactly how my other one was but we caught it in time. The height was where you could stand up and put your elbow on it and the drawers were mixed up. Mine should have been on his and his should have been on mine. Also, his desk was like a teenager desk. The depth was wrong but the length was correct. They came back the next day and the man cut it and fixed it because I didn't wanna return it. And he removed the metal things that shouldn't have been on my vanity.

    I've been keeping communication with the designer but not once has she called me. It was all text, which I found very unprofessional. She was very personable and she knows her material but she needs to work on her math. I told her she lost out on my neighbors who were following through. I did get an apology, but that wasn't the issue. The issue was, you lost out on business. I love Closet World, though, and I'm waiting for another deal in my area. I'm gonna do my other two rooms and then I'm going with a full makeover in our garage. But I will not be using the same designer.

    Their designer was great. We had an emergency in the middle of it and she had to leave, come back a couple days later, and finish up. But she did a really good job, got it all done for us, and got us all set up. We did four closets, two in the master bedroom and two kids’ closets, and the installers did it all in four hours.     I had a good experience with Closet World’s designer. I just told them what I wanted. It was not followed though. I asked to put four slide drawers but when the installation came, they just put two. I ended up not getting the other two slide drawers. They called me two days after to schedule the installation for the other two and I told them no and that it was fine because I was too busy and I already set up everything.

    Closet World was the first one that had the earliest availability when I was looking around into building the closet in my new house. The designer had good ideas and we decided to not only do the closet, which was the original intent but also build in a pantry. It was an empty room that used to be where the washer and dryers were kept. The installers had to come back and they left some unfinished work that, again, we had to call back and ask them to come back. I had a different look in my mind based on the pictures and what I was seeing and hearing from the designer but the work is okay as well as the design.

    Closet World had a 50% discount and free installation offer that I found in my mailbox. The timing was right 'cause I was desperate about our walk-in closet that was unfinished. They sent somebody out. She gave us her proposal. I'm used to people coming in with their iPads. But she came in and she drew out the whole closet proposal. I thought that was cool to watch. But we had them change a number of items on the design. We have way too many shoes and my husband seems to love hats too. So we made a few modifications to hold the hats.

    When they finished, it was not as high quality as I expected. On their promotion, in order to get us to sign, they upgraded us from the bottom level to the middle level. I thought the middle level would be a little bit higher quality than it was. So I'm really glad they updated because I would have never been okay with the base level after seeing the middle level. There's nothing on the back. You just see my walls. It doesn't look as professional as I had expected it would look. For the price that I paid, I expected a lot higher quality. But they were very nice. They met all of their commitments. They came out when they said they would. They finished when they said they would. They took all the stuff they were supposed to take. So everything went really smoothly.

    Initially, it went out well. But the product happened to be something that we didn't expect. We expected to have more storage. Once we realized this, we talked to the designer and their manager. At that point, they said that everything was prepared and they couldn't make any changes. But when the installer came in, even he realized that there could be a problem going with the way it was designed and that is when they decided to do it. The installation team worked around it. We mentioned to them that that was not what we expected. So they just redesigned and gave us what we wanted. They took one week. They installed it the next week for us. It is good. We are very happy with it. We also appreciate that they did everything before the time that they had promised. We like the quality of the product as well.

    I would recommend this Closet World branch that I worked with. I had a closet with sliding mirror doors on it installed. It's two areas of hanging clothes and a center.     I spent $6,000 with Closet World but I wasn't impressed. There were continuous meetings to have to sign contracts in person. The billing was off. The rep had a personal matter that was going on, but she dropped the ball when she had me signed up. I'm renovating two apartments and I removed the closet from two of the separate units of one of the two bedrooms and this one built in the corner. The other one was a walk-in closet. The rep measured it wrong. She assumed that both closets, because they were stacked, were the same size, but they weren't. She was nice but was nowhere to be found to answer questions. Something needed to be rescheduled 'cause she scheduled it wrong. She said, "You're gonna need to call this person." I asked, "Why am I calling? I thought you were my rep." The largest failure in any business relationship is the drop in communication. She could be a little more organized.

    The installer was awesome. He was communicative. He would say, "There's a problem with this, so we did this to fix it. I hope that's all right." They had to make modifications on-site. The quality is acceptable. But if it was my house, I would have gone at a higher quality. The cabinet faces weren't as the rep described, but I can live with that. I would use Closet World again if I had the same installer.

    So far, my experience with Closet World has been good. The rep came three times to discuss the details. The installation was a smooth process. They were accommodating. The first time I got closets done from them was in 2019. I had to move from my 2019 closet to my new plans, and they were able to do it. I got it done in my master bedroom then in my other bedroom. I like the design. I like the price also. I shopped around and those were the most cost-effective.

    Closet World is terrible. Somewhere between the rep going back to their office and communicating with them and their team, the ball was dropped. Several things were left off our design. When they came to install the cabinets, they didn't have all the instructions on what they were supposed to be installing. They had to stop, go back to their offices, redo the paperwork and get the pieces and parts that they were missing, then come back out and set it up. When they came back out to set it up, they damaged my walls. They offered to fix them, but I haven't had time to get them done.

    I ordered two Closet World closet installations. It took two days a week apart to complete the closets leaving both unusable - that meant clothes out of both closets and on the floor. Final installation did not fit an article it was designed to house. It would be another week of disarray for them to re-do so I let that go. Two bars have now fallen off of racks because they were cut too short and were holding on by a hair and I didn't notice. I have to pay another $130 to have them re-cut, beyond the $3K I've already paid. Now I'm looking at all the bars and since I'm paying $130 anyway I'm requesting two others be re-cut and one of the shelves is damaged, which I was going to live with, and I'm requesting they fix that also. I do not recommend this company, their products, or service.

    Melissa ** came out to our house we showed her the closet that we wanted. We told her that we needed more room for our clothes or shoes in our purses. She told us that we would have plenty of cubbies. We would have plenty A room for our shoes and our clothes and our purses. When they came out to install they damaged the inside of my closet. I had to patch it myself and I’m talking about big holes not little holes. It does not fit my shoes. It does not fit my clothes and I had no cubbies for my purses. When I called to complain they said that’s what she drew up on her list. That’s not what we got. What was on her list is not what we got. The three closet door from the floor closet door. I can’t even get to the right side of my clothes because the closet doors are too big. They do not slide open.

    They proceeded to give me a $50 credit for the inconvenience and I had to wait for them to replace the door because it was broken. Melissa our sales rep never even called us back. We had to end up putting half of our clothes in the garage because the one we have now doesn’t even fit our clothes. Everything Melissa told us we were going to get she lied. All she wanted to do was get the sale. When I tried to call her back I attempted at least 8 to 10 times. She never once called me back because the customer service never called me back. This company is absolutely horrible and they do not care if they take your money and they do not give you what they promised you.

    On the day of installation we found out my designer Evelynne ** had botched our closet by leaving out drawers in her design. The installation supervisor Cory supposedly took over and was going to redesign the closets. Since July 12, 2022, until today 8/8/22 we have been given the runaround and have yet to hear back via email with the approved design. Since day 1 Cory has been saying he’s working on it or he will get back to me and doesn’t. My last conversation with him was last week and his exact words were, “I will email the design in 20-30 mins.” He never did. But that was typical for him never followed through. Too much dishonesty with this company.

    Today, we finally had it and my husband called Wells Fargo credit dept since we financed the loan set up by Closet World. They told my husband Closet World had canceled our order! We have been waiting patiently for weeks and told over and over again they were working on the modifications only to find out that was never their intention! They put me through a lot of stress and aggravation! No integrity, truthfulness or professionalism with this company. Please, don’t do business with this corrupt company.

    If I wrote all the problems I experienced with Closet World I could write a book. They are the most incompetent and company that I have ever dealt with. They came out to our home four different times because they had bad, damaged or just the wrong product. They never came during the installation window, every time they arrived hours later. They scratched our cabinets, wiped them with acetone and left the bottoms peeling and would not remove the cabinets and give us a refund. We gave them the opportunity to give us new cabinets and they brought more defective cabinets than the ones they installed.

    They wanted us to allow them to come to our home a fifth time. They insulted us by offering us 10% discount for all the errors they made, time of ours they wasted and the cabinets they damaged. Closet World is a joke, their product is cheap and their managers do not care about customer service. They wasted so much of our time and over charge for a cheap product with bad installation. Save yourself the time, energy, frustration and money and find a respectable cabinet company. Closet World is disgraceful.

    Save your money from this company. Among my experience they sent not one but two inexperienced "Professional" designers. Tried to charge me for installation twice. After installation I was not satisfied with how one closet fits. Had to contact District Manager for Northern CA to file complaint. Once talking with him he had no interest in trying to remedy my concerns...only to discredit my order from inexperienced designers and basically left me in the wind. Save your time and money and get the same thing from IKEA.

    Sales rep set the hook. Showed ‘mothers’ closets and had slick brochure. Gave an install date and that’s the last I was able to speak to her or anybody. Called, left voicemail, texted and emailed. Nothing. Installer had not brought correct door rail, forgot to install backs, seams all gap. He was in the house for 5 hrs and left a mess. Nails, screws and saw dust in both rooms and driveway. Save yourself time and money and hire anybody else. Do your due diligence. Don’t get scammed.

    I cancelled an order on April 2nd and it is now May 24th. I have reached out to the company on 8 different occasions through email and on the phone. Each time I call, I am told I need to talk to a sales manager, however, they will not connect me and tell me that they will leave a message for the sales manager and they will return my call. On May 18th, I called to speak with someone because the installation department called to install. I told them the order was cancelled and then asked to talk with a representative. This has gone on for six days and I have still not received a call back and have not been given a name of a person to speak to. I am told each time that the person or persons are not in the office despite the fact that I have called between the hours of 8 and 3 on each call.

    NO. You DO NOT want to work with this company. I called during a holiday promotion and was excited to have two closets in our master bedroom done. The sales person who came out was friendly and responsive and designed a nice system for us. We ordered their "Legacy" system with smooth self closing drawers. Our installation was supposed to take 2 days. The day of installation the workers showed up after 3pm (on both days). We live in a condo (with an HOA) and all workers have to be off the premises by 6pm. At the end of the 2nd day the job was not complete. All the drawers were not installed, shelving not complete.

    Further, we didn't receive the soft close drawers we requested. We were also charged for 16" shelves (for shoes) when we wanted 12." The change the shelves, they quoted a price of over $2000. When I called to explain the installation was incomplete they said they were booked and couldn't come out for another month! Both the phone rep and the manager was rude. We spent over $10K. I DO NOT RECOMMEND this company. Seriously, shop elsewhere. Wish I had been wise enough to read review first.

    We had a Sale Person named Mark ** from Closet World in the West Hills area of CA. He performed the bait and switch. He gave us a price upon his second visit that did not provide all the options we asked for. He told us those options would be another $1,500. When he returned the 3rd time the price went up to $3,900 and did not include backs on the cabinets, which he said would be another $750 and that was not for full backs. I could tell, he was testing us on our threshold on the price. He said he would get back to us on a better price by Saturday and never would return with a price and ignored us. I finally, emailed him and told him we were going elsewhere. His response "Thank you for the update."

The salesperson his name Rayan we asked to do cabinet in Garage and pantry and walking closet. After installation the closet falling. I part cheap material. Too many mistake by salesperson. Did his own designed. We didn't for this. I paid $11000. Take from 50% deposit. Take him 2 months to comeback do the work.

    The Installation person come. Said I can do any installation until I collected the other 50% by credit card. No one asked for full amount before finish the work. That mean know the Quality not as promised will be strong quality. For this product of wood not worse it this money. We called him to asked to fix these issues make it right. Customer services are bad. No one will help to send from to another person. No one resolved this problem. I will file lawsuit against this closet world. I will not let this go like this. Don't get Scam like me. I don't recommend anyone be aware from this company.

    WORST CLOSET COMPANY EVER! Would rate a ZERO if possible. The quality of materials and hardware is terrible. Within 10 days of installation, almost every drawer was falling out of the track/glides, which couldn't support the drawers. Called and they sent out service to fix, but drawers continue to come off the guides. When I spoke with service manager to request they replace the non-functioning guides with ones that would not come off, he said we'd have to "upgrade" for an additional $2,000 (~$155/per drawer; FYI, these "upgraded" guides cost about $20/drawer), after already spending over $13,000!! Will be reporting them to BBB. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THEM AND REGRET BUYING FROM THEM. Terrible company, terrible product, terrible service. Wish I had read reviews first!

    Terrible experience with Closet World spent over $4000 in June on a closet system. We are on our 4th visit for someone to come out to finish the original installation and it is STILL NOT finished. They will sell you on a closet system, take your money at the first appointment then not complete the project and take months to come out for service appointments! Our original install was 8/31. Closet world has now come out 4 times to complete and still either install incorrectly or does not have the correct parts on each visit! We will be using another company hands down in the future! Also they come at whatever time they please and won’t tell you a “window” until the day before. Customer service reps are rude and not helpful!

    I wish I had read some of the reviews before I signed a contract with them. Maureen, the sale person disappeared after she got our signature and credit card number. They have already charged the full amount and the work is not complete yet. They have installed Wrong size and defective panels and they refuse to fix it. I have disputed the charges on my American Express so far and I will place other posts with update about dealing with these crooks. Richard, their installation manager is also a jerk and does not know anything about customer service. Do not give them your credit card number if you decided to ignore all reviews and hire them or you will be sorry.

    They drilled through the wrong place and I am still waiting for them to reimburse us for the electrician. The Supervisor Robert was impossible to deal with and absolutely did nothing in the range of customer service or retention. Pray your install goes well because that bubbly best friend of a salesperson that first visited you ghosts you if the install goes wrong and calling for help to him/her is a joke. It took six weeks to get power back to our plugs and we are paying out of our own pocket for the car charger. They are overpriced, plywood cabinets, anyone can do it. I feel for their marketing and I feel like a schmuck. Trust me, try another vendor.

    This company lacks customer service in full disclosure. They were several key considerations that were never shared with me until 48 hours for the installation. I had a difficult time getting a manager on the phone to complain about defective products that were delivered and installed in my master bedroom. The company transferred me several times. Once I spoke to an installation manager they assured me that the product would be replaced. A second service provider came out to my home on Friday, June 25, 2021. The installer arrived without any preparation, prior knowledge or products to resolve the issues with my original installation. The service was scheduled to remove the defective products and install new shelving.

    Richard a manager in the installation department assured me that this issue would be resolved. Additionally the company charged my card without permission or final sign off for the remaining balance. The service provided by the Closet World is unacceptable and extremely disappointing especially given the fact that I spent numerous hours calling to speak with a manager and sending Richard photos of the damage products. Both installers agreed that the product is defective, the entire unit is off balance, drawers need to be replaced and adjusted correctly etc. The third installer missed a wall backing and I’m still left with a less than acceptable product and experience.

    The representative looks semi professional, provides professionally printed glossy pictures and designs, but before signing and payment up front, be sure to read the fine print (strategically camouflaged, small print on yellow paper). The self presented designer, Deborah ** walks around with her checklist and estimates her design on number of walls, height, length, width; in my case, she obviously did not look up to see that the walls of the closet converge on one wall. Fortunate for the installer who upon inspection noticed that if shelving installed as designed, would block the right hand door entry to closet. Although the installer tried calling his own supervisor, he did not receive a response so I had to make the decision to not install right wall shelving.

    After the install, I called Closet World 3 times, left messages with person answering, and yet, no one from Closet World made any contact, although, they did charge the full amount balance, $4,199 as stated. What makes me write this review, is that when I wrote a detailed letter to the supposedly “professional” designer, she has chosen to ignore and not respond to my grievances; I or anyone I know will ever do any business with Closet World, I would strongly recommend, buyer beware!

    Cabinet was made way too small for the opening. So the installer added to the frame to make it fit. When I called Closet World I was told to speak to Diego in Installation. He didn’t return my call and when I finally reached him, he said I needed to contact the main office. They kept bouncing me back in forth. I called Pam the person who came out to measure and she didn’t return my call. If you are dissatisfied with your product, no one will help you. Very poor customer service and product. I do not recommend this company.

    We paid 15,000 dollars for a medium size walk in closet back in 2015. We live between NY and LA and the closet was barely used during these years. The quality of finishing is so poor that the top layer is peeling in multiple places, both tilted hampers stopped working (one fell on my feet and hurt me), several decorative planks fell off. I have been trying to schedule repairs under their “7-year warranty” with no result! Originally I was told over the phone that they charge 89 dollars to come in to do repairs and all I need to do is to make a list of what is needed.

    I made a list and called them to schedule but this time was told they will charge me $120 dollars for someone to just “come to look at the damages and to give me an estimate”! I was shocked and mentioned the warranty but the representative laughed at me and said “What? You have so many damages, you want a brand new closet?” She refused to connect me to her supervisor. I tried to email my questions to them-no answer, called and asked for a supervisor many times- he is never available/at lunch/gone for the day. Today I signed the agreement to pay $120 for them to just come over since I have no choice.

    When I called to schedule an appointment, after signing the agreement, I was told they can’t schedule me in because everyone is gone for today and they are also very busy! Imagine that! I will be posting multiple photos I have. Please don’t repeat my mistakes, don’t order anything from this company! There are other companies who do stand behind their products. Their closets are junk, customer service is non-existent.

    I made an appointment with this company to design a closet remodel and garage storage. The night before the appointment I received a message saying, "Please call us back". When I did I was placed on hold and when no one came back to me after 8 minutes I decided they really didn't need to talk to me. The next day no one showed up and when I called about it I was told that the person who was supposed to come out was ill and I was asked to reschedule to the following week which I did. The night before the second appointment I received a confirmation call. The next day, no one showed up. When I called the operator could not find the estimator so I was again asked to rebook. This time I declined to do so.

    To be honest, I checked out the reviews after I had already hired Closet World and was somewhat disconcerted to read many that were negative. With that in mind, I held my breath and hoped for the best. I was not disappointed. From my initial meeting with Whitney, the sales person, to several phone calls with Nelson, the manager, I felt that everyone was working to please me. Nelson made sure I was aware when the installers would arrive and called during and after the installation to make sure I was satisfied.

    The installers did a magnificent job, cleaning up after themselves and leaving a garage that I actually want to live in. They made custom cabinets on site, that are so huge and roomy that I can fit all my boxes in with no problem. Walls to hang garden utensils and toys turned out beautifully, and I love the desk they built with two huge storage cabinets on each site. It has a massive pegboard in front of it, and I am looking forward to hanging all kinds of goodies on it. The crowning glory is the floor. It is a beautiful rubber material that is easy on the feet of my grandchildren and no problem to wipe up. In a blue and grey design, it looks like a professional space. We now have a combination gym, school area and artist space that smells and looks divine. Thank you so much Closet World. We are so in love with our new garage.

    I, regretfully, did not research this company prior to making my purchase. Several weeks after making my purchase, I was informed that the product as described in the agreement was not available. I was told that I could upgrade to something similar, but it would be an additional $1,000. I did not think it was fair to have a product in the purchase agreement that was unavailable and be charged an additional $1,000 for something close. So, submitted my notification to cancel.

    After several weeks of trying to contact Closet World to confirm the cancellation, I finally got Greg ** VP Sales on the phone. To be clear, it was incredibly hard to get these guys to respond to anything, and even more so when I informed them my intent was to cancel. Greg is unfriendly at best, and rude at worst. He had zero sympathy for my situation, and you can read other reviews about how he interacts with customers. When I told him I was cancelling, he said I couldn't, and believed the purchase agreement was valid even though he admitted the documented product did not exist. Pretty brazen response, but I was at an impasse with Closet World.

    Without going into all the detail it took me several months to work through the dispute, but I eventually got my money back. I hope this provides anyone looking to Closet World for products caution about making a purchase from this company. Take a look at all the other 1 star reviews, inform yourself, and if you proceed, be awfully cautious. Read all the fine print, and know that they will not stand behind their product, nor do they care about making amends with customers who feel they were wronged.

    Closet World. Not a good time to screw up if you’re at all concerned about repeat business or getting new customers. Reason being, right about now, many of us (consumers) have a lot of time on our hands and nothing better to do than write a critique of our experiences. Company: Closet World. I thought I’d give them a try because I needed a hallway cabinet installed for additional storage. Not a big job and just the right size to gauge their product and the talent of their installers for a considerably much larger job. Easy-peasy.

    The Salesperson: Good job. Talent for detail. Personable. No complaints. However, this is where everything goes south.. Communication between the Sales Department and the Installation Department. Somehow, things always appear to get lost in translation. The installers were scheduled for at least a month ahead and called me three times to confirm. Friday, June 5th, between 8 am and 12 noon. The installer was here at 8 am. He sat in his vehicle for about an hour. It appeared he was talking to someone. He rang the doorbell around 9 and said: “My boss just told me to go to another site and help the guy there. Sorry. I’ll be back around noon.”

    A phone call came roughly a half hour later from the Installation Dept. saying the installers would arrive at my home between 1 pm and 3. No explanation was offered. The original salesperson called, confirmed and arrived for our appointment to design another job. I explained that it was partially contingent upon the work that was supposed to be done before her arrival so I might gauge the work and make an informed decision. She agreed. A call was placed to the Installation Dept. They then asked if they could come on Saturday to do the installation. I said yes, as it was already 2:55 and no installer was present or had called to cancel.

    Fast forward to Saturday, June 6th, 8 am. No call. No show. 9am..nothing. 9:54..the doorbell rings.. The guy from yesterday and a new guy. A Mr. **. I never got the name of the guy from yesterday, although he didn’t hesitate to ask me to go and blow up my bathroom. Not cool. Anyways, they did the installation of the cabinets and shelves. The wall had an electrical outlet which according to them stuck out and interfered with one of the drawers. They said they could remove they outlet and tape the wires but it would leave an open hole where the receptacle was. I said ok.

    I noticed the drawers and cabinet hinges were not ‘soft close’. They said the order called for standard equipment. They were already close to finished and wasn’t going to make a big deal out of it, but then they left trash behind. (Didn’t sweep up or remove their shoe covers when departing) I checked the work and signed off on it. It was ok. Not the best work I’ve seen. I’m rather disappointed. I had high hopes. The drawers don’t glide the way I had expected. The cabinet doors rattle when closed. There’s no backing on these wall units either. Like I said, disappointing. Now, I’m prepared to deal with it but then I go in my bedroom and turn on the TV and.. nothing. No power on that entire wall. I check the circuit breaker and nothing has been tripped. Ok, now I’m pissed.

    A call to their office, I get connected to installation and tell them what the problem is. They tell me, they’re going to contact the installers or the dept. supervisor and call me back. That was at 4:30. Still waiting on that call.. That was June 6. I sent the receipt for the repairs on June 10 to R. **. It’s now July 2. I have not received notification or contact of any sort regarding any delay. I would not recommend this company. I am not happy with their customer service. I am not happy with their workmanship nor the quality of their product. I believe it to be subpar or inferior. I do not see a value in using their product for the amount of money this project cost.

    The rep did a good job on the consultation. She came out to the house, measured and offered suggestions. We had to make changes a couple of times because we were trying to figure out everything that we wanted. But she was supportive and it worked out well. Then the installers came in and they got the work done all in one day. I actually ended up leaving. We had to work but we didn't have any issues although they were there late and I didn't know if I wanted them there till 8 o’clock. But it would've been better than having them leave at 5:00 and then coming back the next day for a couple of hours.

    All in all, it went really good. Everything turned out great. The quality was excellent. It may have been a little bit more expensive than some of the other options but in the end, I got better quality for some of the other stuff that would've been less expensive. Maybe I would not have been as happy with it as how I am with what I got. Closet World also had done work in my husband’s house years back.

    The designer came out to the house a handful of times and did some renderings for my wife. We talked it through, and after about the third iteration, she finally kind of hit what we needed. The installers did a nice job with the walk-in closet. They were in and out in a couple of hours. They had all the parts and pieces. There was one shelf missing that they came back later and replaced. It was a good installation. The two guys that came out seemed to know what they were doing. The quality is good, but for what we paid, I wish the finished product was a little higher quality. We had a cabinet made by a different vendor in the bathroom for about the same price and size, and you can see a distinct difference in the quality, the wood that was used and the hardwood that was used.

    We needed the closets done and because we used the California Closet at our other house, I called Closet World. They made an appointment right away for a guy to come out. He came and measured everything, but then I never heard back from anybody. I also forgot about it and we did some traveling. When I got back, I called them up and said that I never heard back from them. They then sent someone else out and the people measured again. Then on the spot, they did the deal, wrote out what the policies were and ran it.

    I would be worried to recommend Closet World to someone because not everybody would be very happy about having somebody come out and then not get back with them. Closet World spent a lot of money on advertising but then with the operational level, they really stumbled. They need to correct that part because not everyone would have called back. People would go with someone else. But maybe they've fixed all that now. In the end, Closet World did a nice job, cleaned up, and we were very happy with the product.

    I've used Closet World for a lot of years now. I moved two or three times and every time I moved, I call them and did a closet. On the most recent one, I had a lot of input and a lot of direction with the designer. Then when they came here with the equipment, there was a discrepancy and we had to work together to make it all work. They had to come back because things weren't exactly the way they were supposed to be, and that made the process a little longer. The lady was very nice, but Closet World could send more professional people to design these closets, and people who really know what they're doing. I had to put a lot of input and I had to say, "No, do it this way. I think it's better if you do it that way," and, "This is not gonna work." But in the end, I got what I wanted and it's lovely. I will use Closet World again. The product is good and the people are very nice to deal with.

    I called Closet World and their designers came out to my house. They measured my closet and sketched the design, and the finished product is good. I just hate that it doesn’t go all the way to the ceiling. I think there's a huge potential for more storage. Also, the installers had to come back because they messed up the order, and they came back two weeks later. And I kind of regret doing it through them. I think that their prices are hugely inflated. Even with the 40% discount, I was able to negotiate a further discount. Also, the basic finishes looked cheap, like you got it from Home Depot and built it yourself. I did the upgrades with a nicer finishes and it gives it a more custom look and makes it more worth your money.

    I had a designer out 12/4/2019. After she completed the design, I realized it might present a problem accessing my water heater. I on looked at my invoice for her number and there was not one. I called the customer service number on Friday after her visit to change the order (within the 72-hour cancellation window) and I never heard from the designer. I phoned customer service again and this time she returned my call. When I told her my problem she said they could change the installation location, but they would not decrease the price because I would not need the extra cabinet. She refused to seek an adjustment.

    I phoned her manager Monte several times. I emailed and never received a response. I am a repeat customer of more than 5K of work and I have never been treated so poorly. I am in the process of disputing my deposit for a refund, and I plan on reporting them to the Better Business Bureau and I WILL take them to small claims court if I don't get my refund.     About 15 years ago, I had my closet redone by Closet World. I had to take everything out of the closet and I painted it. Then they came in and did what they did. It went really fast. Recently, I had to replace some rods. In my garage, some of them had that plastic on the end to where you hook the rod and it broke. I had brackets put in for it to be able to hold. It's something heavier than plastic so it'll last longer. The installation went well and I’m very happy with what they did. I'm gonna be moving out-of-state and I'm gonna build me a house.     I had used Closet World 10 years ago. I used to live in an apartment, but I own the apartment building. I had to redo my closet and it was really a beautiful job. They put up a wall unit for me with drawers and it was very good. 10 years ago, it wasn’t at $900. So when I live in a house which is part of my building, adjacent to the building, I needed my linen closet redone because I was gonna turn it into a craft closet where I keep my arts and crafts stuff. They did a horrible job. I didn’t like the way they did it. They gave me a price and then when they came out, they upped the price. They said they had to charge more for this and that. So, I said, “Never mind. Forget it.”

    I wasn’t satisfied because it was messy. I paid $300 at first, and they tried to raise it to 7, and then somebody else called me up and said that they would give me a better deal. I ended up paying more than the original thing. Also, I ended up having to get them to come out two times to do a job that was supposed to be done the first time. I attribute that to it probably changed hands. So, I just decided I’ll never deal with them again. They called me, offered me stuff and I said, “No. Never again.” It’s not the same quality or company. They might not do them the same way they did before because they quoted me one price, and then when they did the work, they tried to say it was more. I don’t want that experience again. Closet World needs to keep their word and just do what they said they’re gonna do. Don’t bait and switch. Don’t do anything to get me and then hit me.

    I would honestly never recommend Closet World to anyone! I paid $1549 for a closet organizer system to be installed. The installer could not install the new system due to the manufacturer did not send out parts to spec. After multiple phone calls to a supervisor who never returned my calls I am still without the baseboards they removed and threw away from my custom closet, the bottom frame of my drawers and also including the right side of my closet and left side don't match with a finished board. I would rate them a zero star if available. Now going to court over my unfinished closet.

    I paid a price of $1750 for a closet that lasts for less than 10 months, yet I had to pay another $60 out of my own pocket for ClosetWorld's mistake. My professional carpenter examined the faulty installation on site and explained that the damage was clearly an installation error not an user error. There are FIVE hinges in total on each door. But the hinge that falls off is neither from the TOP TWO nor from the MIDDLE TWO, but the BOTTOM ONE - which is the lowest. You might hang on the top of the door to apply force to detach the top two hinges, or forcefully pull the door handle (located at the middle of the door) to detach the middle two. However, the one that actually came off is the BOTTOM one that receives the least amount of stress/force possible which contradicts ClosetWorld's "forced out" argument.

    Also, the original holes drilled to attach the bottom hinge has unequal depth with one much shallower than the other which clearly shows the faulty installation to start with. When I asked ClosetWorld to come up with a scenario that could detach the bottom hinge, even he himself was speechless. Is it even possible for someone to sit on the floor to use a hammer to apply a force upward to detach the bottom hinge of a closet that costs $1750? Even if it were, there was too little space between the bottom of the door and the floor to even insert a hammer to apply a force.

    If it's indeed an error on my side, I'd be happy to even pay the full price of $120. Otherwise, I hate to pay even a penny. After all, if a product only lasts for less than 10 months, I shouldn't even be charged for $1750, as I could easily get a cheaper one at IKEA even with full warranty. Sadly, ClosetWorld choose to rip off their customers, as it is how they do business. I am writing this honest review just to warn people not to become ClosetWorld's another victim.

    Penny was great. Stick with her. We had them do three closets and when she first got here, we thought we wanted it done a certain way. Being the expert, she asked if we might want to do it another way and she was 100% correct. The way the closets got designed was a lot on her, and it was perfect. And then, the installers Closet World sent took care of everything. They also cleaned up everything. It went really smoothly and quickly. From the time we sat down and designed the closets, it took about four days to get the installation done.

    Penny called to verify that the installers had arrived on time, that they did the job and cleaned up, and then a couple of days later, she called again to make sure that everything was done properly. We told her that it's like the installers were never here and those closets just magically appeared. And now that we’ve got everything in there, it’s perfect.

The cabinets are holding up well. But I don’t like that about once every two months, I get phone calls from Closet World offering 50% off. I just spent $5,000 on cabinets in my garage. I'm not gonna do my closet right now. If you were satisfied with them the first time, you're gonna call when you're ready to buy new cabinets again and then have them do it the second time.     Things are not good. First of all, the designer didn’t consider the right place. She didn’t tell me the closet was without a backboard, so we had to paint the walls color like the closet. It added extra work. I wish she had told us earlier so that when we designed the house, we could have left the area blank to match the closet. When everything was delivered, the worker had to re-cut everything. So, it was not the original plan design. When I called the designer, she said it was too late to change it. She said, “I will ask the sales manager to give you a discount,” and when I contacted her, she never responded. Also, when they installed something, they didn’t install properly so we cannot use it. I called Closet World and nobody followed up. I wish that someone could come to revise it. I don’t have time to keep on calling because every time to call, it’s 30 minutes to get a hold of somebody to talk. And after you talk, nobody knows what’s going on.

    Closet World advertises a lot and my mom had a friend who worked for them years ago. She always told my mom that they do great work. Someone came out for the consultation and they were difficult because on the first appointment, the person showed up downtown but never made it in the building and wanted to reschedule. It was a huge inconvenience and I wasn’t gonna go with Closet World but someone called and I said okay as long as they make it next time. When Lilly showed up, she was super great and she was a nice, pleasant person. She took the measurements. The design made 65% of my expectations and I went with what she suggested.

    I literally showed up to let the installers in, and once I got them up and all their supplies, I left them in my apartment on my own accord. They were prompt, courteous, wonderful and they seemed to know what they were doing. I explained to them the situation because my mom, at the time, was in critical condition. They were very understanding under the circumstances, very professional and very comforting. I gave them an area where they could do it and a lock because it’s one building, and I’m on the third floor. So, they were very appreciative about the space that I provided them and they said they could make it work, and they did. They were awesome.

    I was a little disappointed though. When I contracted with Lily to create the shelves, I didn't realize that I needed to ask if there was a backing. The guys from Closet World used the existing wall that I had in my building and then put shelves around, which was my bad because I didn't know to ask that. This building was built in 1920, and the whole point of contracting with someone else was that I probably wouldn't have done as good a job. But I could have done that myself. It’s workable but it isn’t ideal and they're already in, so they're set. Other than that, everything was good.

    We had a completed project many years ago with Closet World on a different bedroom and this time, it was for a walk-in closet in a master bedroom. The reps came out first to measure and then make the drawings. Then, they came back and they had to do the drawing again and remeasure. On the third visit, which was the installation, there were a couple of hiccups. We had the floor tiled just before having the installation so that it matched the tile in the master bath because that’s the access to the walk-in closet in the master bathroom. So, we finished that and we had the carpeting removed from that walk-in closet. The tile installers were hit-and-miss and the floor wasn’t perfectly level.

    The Closet World reps had to shim a cabinet that they constructed and in the process of shimming, there must have been a weak spot under the tile, maybe where there hasn’t been enough of the mastic or the material that keeps a tile in place, and a little quarter piece chipped off. It broke and they came back and did a good job of concealing it. It wasn’t their error, though. It was more to do with the tiles and they didn't have any part in that. They made many concessions at my request and this was after the contract was signed. The project has been completed and everything went well.

    I had been wanting to try Closet World for a long time. We got something from the mail and when we bought our house, I tried them out. The saleslady was great and very informative but we had issues during the installation phase. The installers had to come back at least three times to finally finish the job. They didn’t have the proper materials and the right measurement. I had to wait longer than the estimated date that I told them and even the installation wasn’t up to par. They tried their best to fix the issue, but my husband and I gave up. I was tired of arguing and I didn’t know what else to do so, we just left it. We paid almost nine grand and it looked like IKEA products, so it didn’t really make sense to us. We were expecting a lot more with the money that we paid. The experience with Closet World was not good and we’re not gonna be working with them again.

    I had one of their designers come out initially and she told me I could not have done what I wanted. I found out from the installer the designer was wrong. I had to have 50% of my closet redone to make the change. They came out and put in a bad wall with holes that were torn up causing the rod to not hold and fall down with weight of any clothes. Scheduled an appointment, person did not show up. Have left 4 messages with the person handling my account and he will not even respond. They also damaged my brand new marble floor on the initial install!

    I had a teeny office with a desk in it but I would rather have a closet than an office that I don’t use. I wanted to hire somebody and Closet World had this advertisement that I saw every week so, I went with them and I have a walk-in closet now. The installer had to come out to do the baseboards and didn’t talk too much. He was a nice guy and he did it fast and clean. But I wish I spent a few more minutes discussing the options so I didn't have such a bare closet now. It's very barren looking and I thought the dresser drawer would fit better. It’s smaller than the opening so, it's kinda like a waste of space. Also, they were cheap and crappy. It's not gonna last long but it looks nice and it's very clean. It's brand new and I waited about two months to put anything in there. I noticed when I first came in that the drawers were wobbly and not very well-fitting. It was light and wasn't very sturdy.

    I explained to the rep from Closet World what I wanted and they were really quick about it. It was a little high-pressure sale. They gave an amount and I said that I would think about it. They gave me more off and I spent $2,300. I probably could have gotten the parts for 500 and did it myself but I don’t do that kind of stuff. They did a fine job installing it but I thought it would look more finished. If you want 50 or 60 or 70% off less, that's what I got, so I got what I paid for.

My daughter and I worked on the design and it was easy telling him what we wanted.     I’ve used Closet World a few times before, and from my experience, it’s always been good. They did some work in my other house. I’ve used them for years and I’ve always been satisfied with the work they’ve done in this house. We’re very satisfied with what Closet World did. The latest one was in the garage.     15 years ago, my mom used Closet World. And when I needed to get my closet done, I didn't do much research and just went with them. But the designer that I got was very overpowering and overbearing. I would have liked a better designer. She knew better than I did and wanted to spend my money, but it wasn't her money to spend. Other than that, I had two closets done and the installation went well. At first, the drawers didn't fit, but they fixed that and I'm happy with the finished closets.

    We are a repeat Closet World customer. We did our garage closets, cabinets in 2015. And then, my wife decided to do her walk-in closet, so we did that with a different designer.     I had Closet World install a bedroom closet and an office desk. The designer was very nice but the installation was bad. It was not properly done and I had a lot of problems with it. It was damaged and Closet World didn't go for the size of the items that I wanted. At the time, I was in need. I have always done my own work and I used to do my own closets. This is the very first time that I let anybody do carpentry work. The money that they asked was outrageous but I said that I might as well have something nice done right away. They said they would do it in one day and they did it. But on the first day that they were supposed to come, the guy called me about an hour before, saying that they would not be able to install my closet because the guy got sick. Closet World is a large company. I got them over from TV and they pay a lot of money to be on TV. Then they call me up an hour early to tell me that the guy that is supposed to install is sick? What kind of stupid company do they have?

    I asked when they would be coming. They decided that they were going to schedule it a week later. But I forgot and they came. I told them that I couldn’t take them in that day because I had an appointment with the doctor at three o’clock. They said that by then, they would be finished so I told them to come in early and have it done so I still could go up to my appointment. Then I had to go and the guy said he still had two hours. I told him that I couldn’t wait two hours. I asked a friend of mine to be here in the house until he finished. I didn’t approve the work because I didn’t see it so when I came back, I almost got a fit because it was not what I wanted and needed.

    I talked to the designer many times but after the installation, she sort of vanished a little bit. I am very unhappy and I’m not satisfied at all. They said that they were gonna fix what I didn’t like, but they took too long. It seemed they didn’t care about my business. So I told them that if they come and repair, it is gonna take a long time so I asked to make a settlement. The guy said he would give me a 10% discount. I didn’t like it. It took them two weeks in order to decide on the settlement. They said that it wasn’t good so I finally told them to forget it and to just come in but I want it to be done as soon as possible. A week later, they called me. The guy said that the work would be too much hassle for them, so they would settle. They gave me $300 back to just leave it like that. So I’m trying to live with the things that I really don’t like. I wouldn’t recommend Closet World.

    I've used Closet World in the different homes that I've had. I've had good service with them whenever I've used them and figured, why change? The designer I had was great, very helpful and explained everything to me. She was very good at showing me different options and the things that I had. I knew what I wanted and what I had to have, but she put it together for me and designed the closet. She took my ideas and put something together for me.

    I've been very happy with the finished product that I recently got from them. But they had to come back for my for countertop. When they went to put it in, it was the wrong size. We had to re-order and it took a week for it to get back. At that time, I asked if there was any way they could get me two more shelves for the inside of the tall closets and they said yes. They brought them to me but one was not finished on the edges. It's in my garage, so I wasn't that concerned about it. But everybody in the neighborhood loves it and it wasn't a big thing for me to call back and have it done.

    I used Closet World because of their pricing and I had a good experience with their designer who helped me. I already know the design I wanted. The installers were great but I wanted things just a little bit different than what the designer had promised, and it wasn’t as promised. The closet was not as designed and we had to change some things and adjust it. So, I had to call the main office and request those items, but then they had said they weren’t on the order. I said, “Yes, they were.” I told them that they could take their closets and shove them and I would pay someone else, or they could give me the items I was told. So, they gave me the items I was told. The installers made everything the way it was supposed to be after I talked to the manager. In the end, the closet came out okay. It’s not perfect, but it’s good enough. Now, everything’s fine.

    I called Closet World and they responded real quick, and they had the product. My experience with the designer was fantastic. She was great. I basically wanted to reduce my load that I had in the closet, and she helped me with that. We designed and redesigned three or four times, and she was on with it. She knew what she was doing and we closed the whole thing properly. I got what I wanted and I'm enjoying my closet right now. The installation crew was fantastic. They always cleaned up after themselves. We needed some other things done and they were there to do them, and that was great. So far, everything has been completed. I like Closet World so much.     The designer we worked with helped us come up with some ideas and was good. Her final design was pretty accurate, as far as what we wanted. We chose Closet World because of the bids that they provided. But the installation experience was not good. There were some pieces that were not measured correctly and that delayed us a couple of weeks. Closet World also sent out one guy to do the work when it required two and that delayed things as well. It turned out to be an all-day project when I was told it was only gonna be a period of time and not hurt my schedule. I was supposed to be somewhere else and I had to cancel. The guy who was in charge of the installation, the supervisor, had promised to provide a reduction due to the inconvenience but it was never followed up. The contact I received was more of trying to sell me more stuff.

I had a timeline and I was working with it for my employer and the manager was obviously trying to close the deal immediately. He was obnoxious and it was not a pleasant experience. But the guy that came to do the measuring and the installation teams were total pros, and very calm and relaxing. There was no pressure.     I had Closet World install a closet for me. When I saw them in the paper and on TV, I said, “Well, let me go ahead and give them a call,” and they came out. The designer was very friendly, nice and I liked her. I told her I wanted a lot of shelves and hanging room and she helped me with the design. Everything that she did was great, and when their installer came out, what they had and what I had was something different. There were three shelves missing and I had to pay extra for those. It was included in the design I had, but not the one they brought here.

    The designer was great and I liked her attitude. We even talked about the pricing, and we cut out the middle piece with the drawers and the shelves that she was gonna put in because of the price, and she crossed that out. So, we were clear on that. I thought everything was good and clear with her. So when the installers came and they only put three shelves out, I told them, “Well, my paper, it shows six.” And we were going back and forth in regards to that. They just kept telling me that item was what I paid for. I really needed the shelves, so I just told them I’ll pay for them. The finished product looked okay to me. I like the way it looked. I was just unhappy about the shelves.

    Closet World's prices are 50% off. They gave me a high price and then they took off the 50. The price doesn't matter for me, but the closet is not fit well. The door has a big gap. I don't wanna be dusting into the closet and that was why I had a glass door installed, but there's a huge gap, so still, dust is going to the inside of the closet.

    The designer that came out to help me has a good attitude, and she helped me. But when they came to install, the size was not right, so we had to do it again. And the installer was great. But, he did a mistake because he didn't install the right way. That's why there's a gap. I texted him but he never answered. Closet World should repair the issue. Right now, I'm not happy. The after service is not good.

She had to call her boss to clarify some points, which was fine as I’d rather get the right answer than her make the whole thing up.     I had cabinets done in the entertainment center to hold my shoes. The Closet World designer was very nice, and she came here and did the work. She did all the designs before she left, she matched the price and she chose the design. Installation began with a problem though because the installers said the units that they had were bigger based on the type, so they had to change what they brought. Then, we had to make some changes because within the designs, it wasn’t working. It wasn’t practical at all. Still, the people that came to do the installation were very accommodating and nice.

    I’m very disappointed with the closet. The owner called me after the designer came, and he told me he wanted my business. Then when I had problems later, he never called me. I sent two emails and he never replied. The designer called me two times, and I asked her to come and see the finished product because it was wrong. She said she would tell the boss that he needed to come, but nobody showed up. In the end, I had two wall-to-wall closets and with one of the closets, the design was wrong. It was too close to the other one, with at least four inches between the wall on one and the door at the other. It’s not very practical to move.

    Closet World also pulled the payments. The down payment was 50%, and the other 50 was supposed to be taken when it was done. They pulled it out right at the first day the people were here to install. Even if they had not installed, they took the money out. They were supposed to finish the job first, and then pull the money. They need to pay more attention to not just the sales, but follow-up with the customers.

    I had used Closet World in the past with no issues. The products I have installed still are to the quality that I would expect for the price that I paid. The previous product I used was very reasonable for the price. However, I feel that in recent years, their pricing had become exponential. I thought I was gonna get something much better than what I actually got based on my previous pricing and previous experience.

    I had a coupon and I gave them that, but after everything was said and done, I was reviewing the coupon pricing versus the pricing that they gave me and it didn't match up. I sent in the cancellation with the caveat that if we could reprice it, I would definitely go ahead with the project, but I didn't hear anything back. Then someone called me to say they're installing it. I said I canceled that and various people called me back. I provided all the information including that someone from their company had called me back the day that I canceled within the three-day time period, and they refused to give me my money back and made me wanna have to go to court to get my money back with them.

    I felt they strong-armed on me into paying for something that I had canceled. I went ahead with it so that I don't have to deal with going to court to get my money back. But I absolutely overpaid based on the coupon that I had which was a 50% off. They didn't wanna honor that and go back and reprice it, and that's really my main concern. They also lied that I didn't cancel it in time which I had all the proof for that.

    The installers did a 95% great job. They did a couple of extra things that I asked 'cause I asked for a custom cabinet that I had to be installed and they did that. That was really great. But there were some nicks and scratches and some other missing things that I would have hoped would not have been an issue but were. When I called Closet World, they did take care of some of the issues but they have not come back to take care of some of the nicks that were in the front of the cabinet doors, and it's been several months. They kept calling me to get me to rebook with them. I told them under no circumstances will I ever use their business again, and they still keep calling me. The installation and the designer were great. Everything else regarding that company was awful.

They put a countertop, and I don't know if they didn't scribe it into the wall. The wall's all messed up and wavy. The installation was done in one day. It's a little more expensive than I thought it was gonna be for what I ended up getting, for the quality of that part of the board stuff.     I had a big walk-in closet but the space was so underutilized that I knew I wanted something else. I called Closet World first to get a quote and they responded quickly. They came out at a time that fit my schedule and the quote was fair. So with all of that together, I was just ready to begin this project. Actually, it was a surprise for my wife because she was out of town. The closet was crowded and cramped so I opened it all up. I started taking all of her clothes out when she was gone and when she returned a couple of days later, everything was done. The clothes were all back in. It was just a big surprise.

    I was very pleased with everything, from the design to the consultant who came out, the workers and the product. The closet is exactly what I was looking for and it’s a good product. It’s a whole lot better than we expected and without going overboard. I didn't wanna spend a whole lot of money because I know that the return on something like that, if I sell my house, isn't that great. There are other things that I can spend money on that would give me a better return. This, however, looks really good. It looks professional and clean. So it turned out very well without spending a lot of money on it. I love it.

    It is really a very basic closet but it gave me more space in the closet to do other things and really make it more of a walk-in closet with a full-length mirror for my wife and a sit-down bench that I bought. There are hanging space for long dresses and shorter clothes, a lot of shoe space, shelves and two drawers for jewelry. The contractors who installed the closet were also very pleasant. They knew what they were doing and they had everything they needed. They were quick about their business and they did it well. In fact, they did it more quickly than I thought they'd be able to do it.

    My kids are gone I have nobody here so I had two bedrooms. One was a junk room and one was an extra bedroom that nobody slept in. I got rid of the junk room and put the bed in there making it into the extra bedroom. I called Closet World, set up an appointment and had them come out and give me a quote. The first one I had them do was a wall closet for hanging clothes. I then had them convert the former extra bedroom into a big closet. It has everything in it. I got one wall that they designed with short hang on each side and the long hang in the middle. On each side of the wall, one wall comes out a little bit further than the other and there's shelving. It has fabric cubes stuck in it. I also have a makeup table with all my stuff. I have my shoes and there's a place with all my personals like my underwear and my bra. I have a little dresser that has a mirror on it. It's pretty cool.

    My closet's down the hallway from my bedroom so it's private. When I am getting ready, my husband's getting ready in the bedroom. I moved everything out of my bedroom into the room. I come in here and I put my make up on. It makes getting ready so much faster because I before, I didn't have the room to organize everything. I had stuff and shoes in every closet in the house. With my closet now, I have all my black tops in one tops section and my colored tops in the bottom tops section. On the left side, I have all my pants and I have all my T-shirts in the middle. I have all my dresses then I have all my shoes. Everything is just easy. When I cleaned out my closet, I didn't know I had things in there that had a tag on it or that I forgot I even bought it. Now, everything is just accessible.

    The closet took six weeks to make. The designer came, he drew it up then he showed me a couple of different options. In the first option, he had a bench under the window and I didn't want that. I didn't wanna take up that much space. I wanted something that I could move if I wanted because I can always get a bench and stick it under the window. But I wanted to be able to move and I didn't want anything that was permanent, so we eliminated that.

    He then drew up the plan and gave me the price. I agreed to do it. And then it was six weeks out, which gave me time because at that time, I still had my bedroom set up as a guest room. I had the other room that I was moving stuff into. I had a desk and file cabinets. I had to go through and throw out paperwork that I didn't need, organize everything and get rid of the desk. It also gave me time to paint the room, do the crown molding, pull up the carpet and refinish the hardwood floors. It gave me time to get ready for when they came.

    Closet World did good work and I'm happy with it. It fulfilled my expectations of what I had visually in my head and what I ended up with. I have a ledge over the top where I have my purses all displayed. It's very functional for me. I love the fact that having the closet cuts down my time getting ready. I can be ready in 45 minutes, step out of the shower, do my makeup, and put on clothes because everything is just accessible. I can just pull clothes out, try it on instantly and hang it back up if I don't wanna wear it and pull something else out. It's the same when packing for a vacation.

    Absolute horrible experience! Do not use this company unless you want to spend 6 months calling them to talk to them about scheduling and destruction of your closet! Here are a few things I'm dealing with...

    - I call them and they tell me they will return my call. They don't return my call so I have to call them at the time, they tell me they're going to return my call.
    - There is no internal communication. The installer broke my handle, took it with him (he claims that he left it with me. I cleaned the area and my handle that I purchased was never found. He stole it.) He never claimed that my closet was unfinished. So I had to wait 2 months for them to come back to install my drawer (and yes, I called them every day to schedule this).
    - They punched holes in my wall as they were removing the old installed closet. Said they would repair it. Upon return, they gave me a tube of caulking! No gun, and said I had to fix it.

    - I scheduled times for installing twice and they never showed up. When I called, they said they never recorded it.

    And the list goes on! Save your time and use your money for another company, you'll be treated like garbage with this company.

    I chose Closet World for the pricing and the availability to get the job done during my timeline. Their competitors provide a schematic picture of what the closet is gonna look like though. Closet World doesn’t. You go off of a pencil drawing so it’s hard to understand what it’s gonna look like. But the sales rep, Daniela, had excellent customer service skills. She always got back to me in a very timely manner. I never had to follow-up with her. With their competitor, I would leave a message or ask something then wait two or three days to get a response. Daniela provided exceptional service. I could always count that she was gonna get back to me.

    What we had installed was a custom master closet. My husband has a lot of shoes and one of the requirements was that it had to fit 40 pairs of men’s shoes. Then we wanted custom drawers for not only jewelry but also for purses. When they did the installation, there was a tie rack missing but I reported it and the installers came back in two days. They were professional and they did a good job. I’m very happy with the closet and I would recommend Closet World.

    We liked our experience with Closet World and the designer, Jennifer. My daughter initially had something fixed and Jennifer was the rep. My daughter was happy with Jennifer so I called her. I had a normal shelf installed, for putting the shoes and shoe boxes. It also has hangers, with the clothes section with the plexiglass. The panels are all white and the closet is good. I wish I would have asked them to put some of the cover doors. But by the time I decided to do that, it was too late. It's okay though. I'm happy with it.

    Closet World had done some custom work for us, so we reached back out to them. We're doing some work around our house because we're selling and that particular closet that they had built shelving needed some repair work. So, we reached out to them to do it. Also, Closet World do good advertising, so we didn't shop around. Their designer was very easy to work with and she understood what we wanted. So, it was a great experience all the way around. The installer took him an hour from start to completion to get the installation done. So, it was great.

    I would recommend Closet World. The lady who came, Edna, was really good. She had been out a whole lot and she had been explaining a lot of things to me. I made a half closet only then I made a full closet, and the people who came to fix it were awesome. They were all nice. However, it was a little bit delayed because of some miscommunication. It would have been really good if Edna and the person who came out and installed communicated and had a meeting before they came to install so they could have seen the measurements. Edna took the measurement, made the graphic for me and it was all good. But the person who came to install said it was the wrong size. I wasted almost one and a half month because I waited for that.

    But it was not a big deal and I'm all satisfied. They fixed it really smoothly and they came for the installation again. The walk-in closet is beautiful. The color is beautiful and the work is so clean. They didn't make any mess. Everything was awesome. I'm looking forward to do more business with Closet World 'cause I still have to make my office.

    We had two closets and a pantry from Closet World. The design was great and the designers were very helpful. The installation was also good, fast and easy. They did a good job. But we had an issue with two drawers in one of the closets. One came off the track and the track was bent then with the other one, the whole base came off of the drawer. So Closet World came out and I actually had to pay for it because they said it wasn’t under warranty. They said that they had fixed it but four days later, the same problem happened with one drawer. It came off the track again. I looked at it and the track was bent. That's in my five-year-old's closet and I don’t know he would be able to do that. Closet World came out again and said that they fixed it but they didn’t. The drawers are stuck. Every time you pull them out, they come off the track and they sound like they’re cracking and breaking. So I’m super not happy with Closet World and I would never use them again.

    I had to hire an attorney to get a refund of my $5,200 deposit after a contract dispute. The local Las Vegas office referred me to the Corporate Sales Department to negotiate a resolution. After 4 months of unanswered emails to the sales department and having to hire another closet company to build our closets, we hired a lawyer to help us get our deposit money returned. It was returned promptly upon receipt of the letter. Word to the wise, from my experience with Closet World, it is "my way or the highway", they are not reasonable in the least.

    We had worked with Closet World once and we're pretty happy with what they did then. This time, they installed a mirrored closet door. The designer is very good at what she does. The installation was done very quickly. The guy showed up just on time that he was supposed to be there. I showed him where it's at and he looked at everything, checked it, and started installing right away. He was probably done in about 40 minutes. What Closet World put in is not the highest in quality, but it's okay for what we have.

    I had Closet World install a master bedroom closet for me. Though the designer was good, the customer service outside of the designer was horrible. The designer originally said I could have a certain date. So, I was set on that date and took time off of work. But then, Closet World called me two weeks before and asked me if I wanted to switch, to which I said, “No.” The rep who was speaking told me that I would have to because Closet World couldn't do the installation on the date I was given anyway. I would have to do the installation the next day. I told the rep that I couldn't as I work in a hospital and I can't just take time off.

    Previously, the designer told me to follow up with her if ever I had an issue. So, I kept trying to reach out to her and nobody was responding to me for over a week. Closet World's reps kept saying that a supervisor would call me back but then nobody called me until the week of. I finally got a supervisor who gave me a date and time. Still, it was like the most annoying and ridiculous process ever.

    Once Closet World's guys got to my place, the guy who installed it was lovely and did a great job. The actual designer at the time of service was great too. I was gonna leave a really bad review but because the guy that installed the services was so good, I felt bad because was so helpful. However, Closet World called me three times a week thereafter asking if I wanted more stuff. I kept asking to get removed from whatever call list that is and they just keep calling me. I appreciate that Closet World has deals, but it's a lot. I don't want any more closets right now. I haven’t even paid off the one I have. Getting them to remove me from the call list has been so annoying.

    Closet World has been around for a long time. I’ve seen their work before and they’ve done really nice stuff. So, it made sense to use them. However, they damaged my molding down at the bottom of the floor, where the floor and the wall meet. They also did not complete the project as far as finishing the wall. The wall is left unfinished where the closet was dismantled. The material on the original closet was dismantled and a new closet was installed, but they didn’t put the backing there, so I had to hire a handyman and pay more money to have those fixed.

    Now, Closet World gave me a credit to fix the molding at the bottom, but they didn’t wanna fix or take responsibility for the backing of my closet. I was pretty dissatisfied with that. Their rep disputed the elements of the consultation. She claimed that she informed me that there would be no backing, and I disagreed with her because I would not have allowed for a job to be so unfinished. It was very unprofessional on her part to disagree in that way. They held firm and said that if I wanted to have that done, it would have been an extra $500. But the closets were already installed and I was dissatisfied with the exchange at that point. That is unfortunate because I have a much bigger closet that I need reorganization with. So, they lost that job and I’m in the process of consulting with other companies.

    I've had Closet World for almost seven years and I like the material of their product. It's not crushed. This last time however, the people who came weren't experienced. You get experienced people because it's about space and things. They have to understand what to do, and how high or how low. There was one mistake, so they corrected later on. But I wanna know what happened because the cabinet fell down. I put something on the bottom of it. I'm waiting for someone to come and see. Other than that, the quality is perfect.     Closet World had a big sale going on and we had just finished an addition with a massive closet, so I wanted it a little bit more organized. The designer did her measurements and came up with a couple of ideas. I shot up my ideas and we came up with what I have now. Then, the installers came and we went over the plan together. We had them install a combination of shelves, including a lot of shelves for shoes and folding my t-shirts, a lot of bars for hanging, and a hamper. They forgot to do something that my wife requested so we called the saleslady who came and they took care of it. The work was good and it doesn’t look cheesy. It was a good experience, overall.

    I saw Closet World's design and it seemed they had some percentage off. I called them to see if they could get me some closet. The closet that was in my bedroom wasn't what I wanted because it was so big and it was too much on the weight. I called Closet World and they told me I had to remove the first closet. They came over when they were taking the measurement but they were measuring with the closet that I have and they were showing me based on the old closet. They said adding the new one would be nice and I believed them.

    They sent the technician out to do the closet and when he finished, he called me to come and see. The job that was done is not the job I ordered. The picture that they have is not the same thing that they do. The closet is so small. Whenever I hang the clothes, it's all hanging out. Also, they destroyed a part of my wall. He removed all the wood in my wall to put the closet in. It's so ugly. I called them to come and fix it or give me some new closet. They said that I chose this so they couldn't help me and that I have to pay extra money for them to come back and do it.

    I told them to just remove it. They left me with a messed up closet. Now, all my clothes are on the floor in my bathroom and in my children's room. They did the worst job ever. I have been waiting for them to come here and remove the closet that they put in my room and they said they cannot remove it. I've never seen people who cannot care about human beings. They just care about their money and they were just asking me I need to pay how much I owe them. And the amount of money that I have been trying to put out for them is a big struggle. Also, when I talk to them, they never wanna hear me. I'm stuck with the closet in my room and the walls destroyed. I'm trying to go to the Better Business Bureau and report them. I regret it more than anything. They need to return my money. I know some people out there can do better jobs with less money.

    We had a closet done by Closet World and we liked the lady that came over. When we needed closets again, we called her. She came over and did a quote. She’s an expert and I love her. She helped us design the closet based on what we gave her. The guy who installed it did a good job. But there was a little detail that we didn’t like. There was a gap on the cement where the board was placed and a tiny little bit of piece of wood was cut to put underneath it to cover up the gap. It was not a good job and they should have cut one flat piece. But overall, everything was okay. I will surely recommend Closet World and the lady that came over the house.
