We had a walk-in closet installed, which included coverage for all four walls. The designer was exceptionally thorough and addressed all of our questions effectively, making this part of the process quite enjoyable.
As for the installation, my interaction was limited. I was present to let the installer in, review, and approve the blueprint and plan. He managed everything smoothly while I was away.
Overall, my experience with Closet World was very positive. I would rate the experience a 5. The customer service and sales/marketing experience also deserve a 5, while the product and pricing both earn a 4. As for any online tools or apps, I would rate them as a 5.

I recently had some closet installation work done by Closet World, and my experience was generally positive. I first heard about Closet World through my father-in-law who referred us to the company. Our interaction with the designer was phenomenal; we absolutely loved working with her. Installation went smoothly, and we're very happy with how everything looks now—no negative comments to share there. However, there was a bit of a hiccup that I think others should be aware of. On the day of installation, there was some miscommunication regarding the removal of the existing closet. We were informed that we needed to provide cash to have the old closet hauled away, which was stressful since I didn’t have cash on hand at the time, and my husband was at work. In the end, the installation team agreed to handle it without payment, which I appreciated, but it would have been better to know in advance that cash would be required.

I chose Closet World for a project in my home because I was initially told it would involve solid wood materials. Although it turned out not to be solid wood, the finished product still looks good. The installation was for a closet in my bedroom, and it turned out to be firm and strong.
The quality of the work was commendable. The install team was very good, nice, and proficient. Overall, my experience with Closet World was positive.

I chose Closet World after seeing it online. I had a Murphy bed installed, and while I really liked it, there was a mix-up with the designer regarding electrical outlets. I ended up having to relocate an outlet, that cost me 300 bucks, which was a bit frustrating. The installation itself was quick, about four hours, and the installation team did a great job. Overall, I am satisfied with the product and service.

I first discovered Closet World through browsing social media, among several options. My husband and I hesitated at first due to cost concerns. However, the representative who visited was very understanding and not at all pushy. She offered a good discount at the time, highlighting that there would be future opportunities, which was reassuring given our financial situation.
The installation process was smooth and quick. I was at work, but my husband managed it seamlessly at home. It was a standard closet without drawers or fancy features, so installation only took a couple of hours. Despite the mess created by emptying the closet into our bedroom, the crew handled everything professionally.
We opted for a setup with a hanging rod in four parts, with a long rack on the far left for dresses and other items. We included smaller center shelves and larger shelves on the other sides, which can accommodate drawers in the future when it fit our budget. The quality of work was impressive, and my husband had no issues dealing with the contractors and the helpful design consultant. The product quality merits a 5-star rating, while the price gets a 4 for its lack of affordability.

Closet World was able to quickly meet our requirements. During the initial presentation, the designer showed us various samples and designs, which we found satisfactory. We also had some say in the design process, providing our input. On installation day, the installers were fast and did a good job. When asked if I'd recommend Closet World to my family or friends, I would.

I decided to go with Closet World due to their reasonable prices. The standout part of the experience was the home consultant who came to take measurements and discuss the products. She was exceptional—taking plenty of time, being thorough in her explanations, and helping us work with our budget. Her outgoing nature made the process enjoyable.
However, the installation team was lacking. Initially, I was told it would take just one day, but it ended up taking four days instead. Although the person doing the installation was polite and knowledgeable, I feel this scheduling issue was more the company's fault than his.
In the end, we are very happy with the results and love how everything looks. Given the overall experience, I would rate Closet World 3 out of 5 stars.

I chose Closet World because they were more prompt and professional than another company I contacted. The entire process, from start to finish, was efficient. The salesperson was on time, professional, and clear about the process. The installation was quick, with no mess left behind, and I'm pleased with the high-quality doors, which are even nicer than what we had before.
While the salesperson was generally professional, the process to finalize the order could have been smoother. I had to contact Closet World directly for the payment, which added some inconvenience as I had to wait for business hours.
Despite that minor hiccup, my experience was overwhelmingly positive. If needed, I would gladly choose Closet World again for more closet doors. Even though I didn't have a comparison for the pricing, I appreciated the quality of the products. They were expensive, but in this case, the quality justified the cost.

I've had an excellent experience with Closet World. The designers are lovely, particularly my designer who always does an awesome job. She informs me about current deals and sales, which is helpful. The installers simply complete their work efficiently and leave, making the experience hassle-free. Closet World's installations, like my closets and laundry room cabinetry, have been transformative. The quality of their products is impressive, making my closet spaces spectacular. I have more projects in mind, such as additional cabinetry and shelving, which I'll tackle one step at a time.

We had a contractor that was not super great and they tried to renege on the offer to do the closet. I had been seeing the Closet World ads on my Instagram for months, so my husband and I designed an idea based on some of the concepts we saw in Closet World. When we presented it to our contractor's designer, it didn't go anywhere, so when the time came, we insisted that they use Closet World for this closet renovation.
Our contractor set up the appointment, and then we took it over. Closet World came here, and the guy, Manesh, gave his information and sat down. He showed up in a timely manner and he was courteous. He went up there and took a look at the closet. We talked about ideas, then he came down and drew out what we wanted. We were able to see the design and get a copy before he even left.
When Closet World came to do the measurements and the installation, they were also very professional. Initially, they gave us a time, then they called to confirm by text, call, and email so we knew that it was set. My husband was here and the two gentlemen arrived on time, came in and took care of their business. I was not home when they arrived, but when I came in, they still stopped and introduced themselves. That's very important to me because I work from home.
When I went up, they showed me what they were doing. One guy was cutting in the driveway and the other guy was installing upstairs. They walked through everything with my husband and they showed us where the wall was not straight. They explained that that's why the closet is not going to meet the wall in all places. We had baseboards in and they were going to cut them out a notch, but they ended up taking them off. They explained why they couldn't do the original intent as well. I was very pleased with everything. The closet renovation took less than three hours and the quality of work was very good.
When we bought the house, the closet we had was smaller and it was not functional. It was almost like a plank across one wall, some folders, and then some built-in shelves. It didn't hold a lot of clothes. It was just one rack and there was a lot of space that was wasted in there. My husband's belongings weren't even in the closet, so our goal was to have something bigger and organized to where he could also share a closet with me. We extended our closet out two feet, and now, we have shoe shelving, double rows of hanging, and the far wall has drawers and shelves. At either side is the area for the long hanging and there's a shelf up top where we can have space to utilize. I have a lot of shoes, so we're also utilizing some of that for shoes and for photo bins that we can put up there. All in all, quality and interaction are very important to me and Closet World had both of those top-notch.

I've used Closet World before. I knew the quality of the product and the warranty, too. I also like their price. I had the basic white product installed years ago. We built a bookshelf in one closet and we built an entire hanging closet in the other one. The installation was fine. It was right on time when they said they were gonna do it. Everything worked out great. The installer did an excellent job. It was very basic before. You had the hangers, the rods, and they went all the way around. We have 10-foot-high ceilings. So, it had a lot of wasted space. With Closet World, I got up there and doubled that because I put a lower and an upper rack. The whole closet is used now.
What I like about Closet World is they have a very diverse selection of products, from some relatively inexpensive to the expensive, but it's all high quality and it's custom. They have so many options for hardware and it's very nice. Compared to others that I've seen for the same amount, it's cheaper. Especially when they have those sales, there's 50% off or 40% off and free installation. However, they used to have an online catalog. That was years ago and now they don't have it.

I just moved and I wanted to organize my closet. When I bought my house, it was already organized, but it was just metal trays that pulled out. There were not enough shelves and the places for the shoes were like magazine racks. They were metal things on angles. I didn't like it, so I had it ripped out and gave it away. I am an experienced person with closets that had been designed, and I used California Closets before. I called them, but they were not giving out any specials at all. I heard about Closet World through Instagram and they were running a special. They were faster too. When I called the other company, they said it'd be 12 weeks. With Closet World, it was about two and that was a big factor as well. I show my closet off to all my friends here.
The rep was sweet, listened to me, and incorporated what I wanted into the design of the closet. During the installation, we had a slight problem. There was something on the wall that I and the installers didn't know, and the designer didn't realize because I had clothes hanging in there. The closet had to be redesigned on the spot and that was a big pain, but they worked with me and showed me exactly what it was gonna be like. It turned out great and I'm very happy. I like the closet as well as Closet World. The quality is good too. It seems to be almost the exact same materials from California Closets. I had those for years and they held up, so I'm assuming this will do as well.

I had Closet World do some work for me about 20 years ago, then this time, I had a kitchen pantry done. The guy came over and designed it. I wanted a wine rack and he put one in but it was too big. He didn't understand that there were different sizes available for it. So I wasn't happy with my product. I emailed Closet World a couple times and they ignored it at first, but I persisted. I finally got through to an installer guy who said that they would come out and fix it for a fee because they had to order additional materials and provide more labor. They came and fixed it, and I was fine with paying the extra fee for that.
I understand everything costs more now because Trump did not address the pandemic well, and it screwed up everything in the economy. That's not on Closet World. Overall, I was very happy with Closet World, but people have to be very specific about what they want on the design and they have to be persistent if they're not happy with the results. I have the tenacity of a pit bull, and I had to call and email multiple times before I got through to somebody.

The designer was great. She was very communicative. She had ideas. She spent a lot more time than she planned on and I planned on too, but she was trying to be very thorough. I had two different installation days. One big one and one minor one. It was great. The installers got there and went over the plan. But there was one issue that I never brought up and it's such a minor issue. I had it wired for pre-lights. I had the wires sitting there and they were putting a backboard on. I figured they would put the wire hanging over the backboard but they didn't do that. They drilled a hole through the backboard, which made it a little problematic. But again, I didn't have that conversation with them and they thought they were doing the right thing.

When we used Closet World in the past for the closet in our bedroom and a remodel, the service was great. We went with them again and the rep, Dave, was very informative. The options were what we were looking for and he told us what we could get and for what price. We were a little bit debating on the price, but we had shopped around for other Murphy beds, and we were satisfied with Closet World.

Closet World is convenient to use and I like their price. When we talked to their designer, Ivy, she had better ideas, so we went with what she planned. They installed melamine wood partitions to make an economical closet for us. You hang your clothes in it. It isn't anything spectacular, but it's going to be nice for clothes. Other than that, I was told that I got the best installer and he did a phenomenal job. The helper that stopped by late at night wasn't nearly as good and I'm glad I didn't get him. Also, anybody who's considering getting Closet World should wait for a sale or ask for the 50% off. That was when I ordered from them. You can always negotiate the price with them. But some people are good at that, while some people aren't. I'm really not that good at that, but I would have bought what I ordered anyway.

It's the second time I've used Closet World. Audra was wonderful. I worked with her with the closets, and the master was a special thing, so she was very helpful, giving her thoughts and design choice. If I picked something, she gave a suggestion of why something might work better or I had a choice. The installers were very swift. There was something they needed to fix on one of the closet installations that they didn't quite do. I was supposed to have soft close, and things aren't soft close. I do need to have them come back and tweak, but I couldn't be more happier with their service. The only thing is the price is a little steep.

Closet World got great shelving and space, but I was not pleased at all with the material. It looked like something I could've picked up at Home Depot and the cost was extremely expensive. It was almost $5,000. It looks cheap. I was disappointed. I'm pretty dissatisfied. But the designer was great.

I had two projects with Closet World, one at the office and one at home. They were both very bumpy. For the first project, the installation department damaged the cabinet. They had to come back, and they forgot to bring the locks. They came later in the evening when it was dark. They dirtied the walls with dirty hands all over. They also hit the ceiling. So they had to come back and bring the locks and change the door again and waste my time. I kept on asking for morning installation, but they kept on coming late.
For the project that I had at the office, which was a larger project, I was a little hesitant but I decided to give Closet World a chance. They sent out the poor installer all by himself. He was trying to lift the big closet and it almost fell on his head. My sister-in-law had to run and grab it, and she cut her hand. I called Closet World and they said they would send him back with someone else. But he came out again alone. Then some people came and helped him lift the thing in. They had to come back again because the closets were measured wrong on the other side. I asked them again, "Can you please give us a morning appointment again?"
The guy showed up at 12:30 the first time and the second time, I said, "Since all of this happened, would you mind sending somebody earlier." He said, "Every customer is important." Like I asked about every customer. I don't think I'll ever use Closet World again. I'll probably go to another company because of the installation department. They kept on putting me on hold. I would call the office to talk to the manager, and they were in a meeting for over six hours. Nobody called me back. So, I'm glad it's over. It wasn't a nice process at all, both at home and office. I spent quite a bit of money and the quality of the wood is not that great either.
Nobody even called up to follow up about how it was at the end. They gave me an appointment two weeks after they left everything incomplete. I asked for sooner but they couldn't accommodate me even though I've been through all of that. The designer never checked back on me. He doesn't return his phone call. He just got his commission, so he was good.

My experience with Closet World was good. The rep was very nice. We told him what we wanted and he designed it in front of us. Install went very fine and everything was well. There was one door that was not opening well and they came back and fixed it for us. I had used them before as well. All in all, the service is great, the price is reasonable and the work is done on schedule.

I'd recommend Closet World. They have good pricing and they were having a sale when I went with them. The salesperson that came out was very knowledgeable and really worked on doing a good layout for the closet. The project came out very well. Installation was fine and it was done the same day. There was one optional accessory that they forgot to install, but that came a couple of days later. I could have installed it but they came and did it.

Closet World revamped a linen closet. What I had was a built-in tall closet. It was drawers at the bottom and doors at the top. Closet World did a full set of double doors with open spaces for shelves. But the designer did not do a great job designing for me once it was being installed. I told her that I wanted everything black including the doors. But they brought silver hardware which made me have to go out and purchase matte black hardware. In my home, all the doors and doorknobs are black. For them to put silver knobs didn't make sense.
The designer measured the floor from top to bottom but when the guy came to install, there were huge gaps on the side. The top and the bottom of the floor were showing. Raw wood was showing as well. When the installers put the doors in, he did what he was supposed to do, but there are still stains on the wood. He kept cleaning it with acetone so the door still has fingerprints of him putting it on because we don't know what to clean it with. When you open the door, they're just square shelving. I wasn't expecting that. When the lady designed it, that's not how I imagined the closet to be. She did not say it was going to be drawers but she also did not say it was just gonna look like pockets.
I was not satisfied with the end product because I then had to get a contractor to come out and work around what Closet World did. Once they put the stuff in, my contractor had to come back out and put black molding around the entire closet. I was under the impression that when Closet World came out to do it, that was gonna be it. But I had to pay as much money for the demo and the repairs as I did the closet. For me to have to pay someone to come back out and work over what they did not do was a disappointment.

When the initial girl who came to do the measurements and the estimate, she did a very good job. She was here and they give you the estimate as she's talking to you that day, after doing a little uh sketch or whatever, however they make it work. It was a pretty easy process, and so that piece of it went well and what we expected. I would recommend it.

I had Closet World to do the shelving in my closet for my clothing and then the shelving put in for DVDs in my child's room. There was a little hiccup in the installation because they didn't have the backboard. I wanted the back flush against the wall because I didn't paint it. So, that cost me more money. But I'm still happy with my product. The installation happened right away. I'm happy with the quality. But I wish they would put caulking where the two meet so you don't have gaps.

Closet World has been around for a long time and we chose them for their reputation. I purchased storage closets for the garage and a counter. During the installation, I showed the installers where it was going to be done and I walked away. If they had questions, they called me. I love the quality of the work that was done though the price was a little high.

I saw an advertisement for Closet World in the paper and decided on them. We knew what we wanted so the designer came out and drew it up for us. The design visit went well but it could have gone better. We didn't know all the stuff that Closet World does so we didn't know that there was a baseboard that caused the measurements to be a little skewed. It was the designer who put the measurements and we had a desk that we wanted to be 30 inches off the ground, which, in the design, it said 30 inches. But when the installers came to install it, the baseboard jumped it up to 32 inches, which caused a bit of a problem. Their team worked with us to bring it back down to 30 inches. They charged us but it was eventually fixed so we're happy with it now. Overall, it was a good experience but a little bit more detail when going into what the final product is gonna look like before paying for everything would have been helpful.

The lead time I got from Closet World to get the work done was better than the other vendors'. They were doing it early, so I worked on our closet's design with them. They made it on a piece of paper and we worked on that. The first part of the installation was not that good though. During the installation, there was a lot of breakage in my master bedroom. I told Closet World about the issues and they came back and fixed all of them. The quality of the product is also average. After the first month and the problems, we talked and they charged me again for some fixes.
Closet World should make things clear to their customers once they come for the design. Some of the things were not clear, and we found out when they came for the installation. The sales guys are not that technical, and the installation guys are different from the sales guys. There's always a chance of goof-up in that, so they should be in sync with each other. We discussed that I have three rooms where a closet needs to be created. All of them have a 16-inch depth, but the sales guy wrote 12.5 for the master bedroom, even though it had space. It was so odd that a big closet just has a 12.5 depth. When we discussed this with Closet World, they said it was something the sales guy did. They did not even realize that he just wrote 12.5.

The design from Closet World's rep was great and the install went well. But we had some small issues with a couple of things at the very end. The tech installed the lights correctly, but he didn't have all the parts that he needed. And because he would be coming from so far away on the second day, he said he could mail them to me. I suggested that as an option.
But with the whole packet that they gave me for lights, I only put two small lights underneath my tool bench. The packet they gave me was not a good one, just in terms of the product and the number of adapters. And they told me there would be a switch but the switch doesn't work. Those little adapters are not easy to come by, so now I'm trying to reach out to the manufacturer for some help. I've been chasing with them since the install which was four weeks ago. But the person that did the sales was very good and I haven't really told her about all this. She might try to help me, but I'm not worried about it at the moment.

Closet World showed up. I left the house, my son was there. I came home and they were packing up. It went smooth. They were there until 8:30 that night. They wanted to get it done. I like the quality, but I'm not satisfied that they didn't put soft-close on the doors which is what they are supposed to be come back out to do. I paid for soft-closed on the drawers. But they said I didn't ask for the doors, when I wanted everything soft-close. I said, "Soft-close on everything." They missed it. Other than that, the experience was good. They knew what they were doing and they got it done.

Closet World's designer didn't have the right equipment, and she had messed up some of the measurements. We had to deal with a bit of back and forth on that. The technician who came and installed had to work around all the deficiencies in the measurement. They did a fantastic job. We love our garage. It was such a mess. Now, it's super organized. It seems a good quality. The installation process was pretty seamless.

Closet World was able to schedule me within the same week that I called. Their representative was very communicative the whole time. When the designer came over, she was very thorough. She worked with me through all of the modifications or design changes that I would like to have. She was very quick too. The installer himself did a really good job in getting everything cleaned up and installed. Overall customer service was great. So far, the closets have been holding up well. I'll definitely recommend them.

Closet World was able to come the next day to do measurements and design it. I was nine months pregnant and wasn't in the mood to shop around. I said, "You know what? It sounds good. Let's go with it.” The beginning experience was okay. The rep came out, did the measurements and designed in one day. I thought, "Okay. Great." She was good. We had some delays because she was a bit delayed in responding and getting a few things done. However, it went downhill from there. I haven't had the greatest experience. Closet World hasn't followed through with their promises.
When Closet World first came out to install, they caused a lot of damage. The wall that is in the closet is shared with the wall in my bathroom. They went through the wall, damaged the drywall and damaged my closet and sink. They even damaged the tile that is in there. There's a crack in the tile, which is so hard to replace. It was a mess. We have to get those taken care of.
The sales rep said that he will credit me for the damage. I sent him the invoice from the contractor and he said he would update that. He hasn't done that. There were measurement issues, which I understand. Measurements will never be perfect. I accommodated them to come back and fix it but it keeps getting pushed out because they keep calling me, saying, "Your new pieces are in, but they got damaged in transit.” I'm still waiting. My daughter hasn't had a closet in two months because they keep getting damaged. I'm currently scheduled for December 11th. I don't understand why it's so far out. I wanna see if we can push it up.

I heard about Closet World online and looked them up and gave them a call. They did a master bedroom closet for us, which took about half a day. It was what I expected. The rep was great and the installers did a nice job. They cleaned up after themselves and were very respectful of my home. I would recommend Closet World.

I'm very happy with the sales girl from Closet World, Ellie. My order was placed in February because she told there was a special going on for Valentine's Day. But that time, I was not ready to install cabinets yet because I needed to put drywall in my garage, clean it first then put the floors. I ended up signing up on the same day when she came, and I gave a deposit. My garage was fully ready beginning of October but in all that many months, if I had a question, she always answered the phone and I was able to talk to her. Sometimes after they sell a product, they don't even answer phone calls. But it wasn't like that with her. She was very nice, always answered my calls and returned my calls if she was busy.
Before the installation scheduling, they told me to pay up to 50%. I paid over the phone with my ATM card. In the beginning of October, they came and told me to pay the balance. I gave a check then they installed. So far, the cabinets are good. Everything was professionally done, and the promised price was the price. The only thing I was a little bit skeptical about was Ellie said the offer was valid only if I put a deposit that day she came out. I had to sign up for something right there and then. Otherwise, it would be even more expensive. It was not cheap. It was $9000 for the whole deal, and I gave $1800 the first time.

The rep was fast, thorough and experienced. She came up with the design and if we liked it, we approved it. If we wanted any changes, she'd make them but we ended up not needing any changes. I haven't been thrilled about the quality entirely but I didn't also pay for the expensive stuff. I was a little frustrated 'cause I would have preferred IKEA hardware and IKEA melamine finishes to Closet World, except that Closet World could do the weird dimensions. They could do a unique fit. IKEA would have been cheaper, but they don't have everything in terms of being custom.

Closet World's reps were very kind and easy to work with. The representative who helped me, Dondia, came back an additional three times because I kept changing my mind. So, she was extra patient with me and she was exceptional. The installers were very professional and they got the job done quickly. They were also clean and we had no problems at all. So far, we had my husband's closet installed, and we have another one to go. Everything is good and he's very happy with it. But there's one shelf that doesn't fit quite right and we didn't realize it until after they were gone. But we were assured that when they come to do mine, they will look and take care of that.

The closet was horrible and overpriced. It was below subpar quality, worse than IKEA. I was mortified by not just the quality of the materials but also the quality of their work. Everything in terms of shelving was chipped. It was dirty. It looked used and the sides of everything had been scraped. The installers were working extremely sloppy. They made several dents and damages to my closet doors and existing parts of my closets. When they were taking out materials out of their truck, they would just place it on the asphalt, which was damaging it even more.
I'm four months pregnant, and I had to sleep on my couch for two weeks because of a one day job. We were told this would be done in 24 hours, but it ended up taking two weeks to get completed. They had to rip it out because it was done so poorly then reinstalled again. At the end, we got a $200 credit for all the complaining, which was insulting. I would never, ever recommend Closet World to anyone.

Closet World was great. The rep came over and did a consultation and it went well. The guy who did the install worked fast and he did really well too. I was satisfied with the quality, and I'm happy with the closet.

My husband got an email about a 50% off sale from Closet World. That was a good marketing ploy. I was gonna use California Closets because I had used them before. But I found them to be expensive. This was as an ADU on our property so it wasn't where I was gonna live but I wanted to do the closets as a nice but less expensive. I went with Closet World and the master closet that they did is excellent. The designer was wonderful. She spent all sorts of time with me and listened to what I wanted. She didn't try to oversell me. She was very pleasant, polite and professional. She also gave me a bunch of different options to pay it and it was very workable.
It took a of couple hours for the installation which was not that long. The installers were on top of it and everything was stellar. From day one, everything worked fine. They were here on time. I had read some negative reviews about people making appointments with Closet World and the salesperson not showing up or cancelling at the last minute. But none of that happened. This was a completely different experience. I had an excellent experience and I've told my friends about it in case anybody was interested.

It's more organized and more spacious right now than the closet before. I have more shelving now. However, I wanted to change the drawer. I'm short and the drawer is very high. I could not see the items if I put something at the top. It's also not a regular drawer for a closet. It's like a drawer for an office. The width is very small. The manager and the installer helped me to change the sizing of the drawer. Now, I'm waiting for them to go back and change the drawers and some parts of my closet. I like how I can communicate with the installer. I'm gonna recommend him to everybody, but maybe a different designer. But the designer was very nice. Her name is Kaya.

I first talked to one rep from Closet World, told her what I was looking for and that I didn't want anything that would be more than my budget. She told me that they were doing 50% off. But we forgot about it, and the price was too much, so I told them I couldn't do it. A few months later, one of their sales reps called me and told me they were gonna work with my budget. By the time they came back, they tried to say no, that the sales rep didn't know what they were doing. They couldn't bring the cost down to my budget. The new manager wasn't so nice with me. She told me that was their last price.
I wasn't happy with Closet World because they said they were gonna work with my budget, but they did not. But the rep did a good job. She came to my house twice and was very respectful and patient. She made sure that I understood everything she did for me. The installers did a fantastic job as well. When they came in, I explained to them respectfully that I didn't use shoes on my carpet in the house. They did what I wanted and took their shoes off. However, there are some holes that I did not expect that would be there. They explained that the holes are there for when I wanna move the shelf or if I wanna play around it.

I've had numerous unsuccessful attempts in getting estimates done over the years, but I thought I would take advantage of a recent promotion that allowed me to purchase a particular design. Closet World did a good job with the installation. They met the timeline. Overall, I was happy with it, but this is the issue that is important for consumers to understand. When we make a decision on a purchase, we have to go through a vetting process that takes time. That would be scheduling and the installation date. It costs a lot of money to prepare for that. When you prepare for it, and they show up and install it, we look at it and were dissatisfied because we paid $1,500 for a small closet shelving and say, “That doesn't look like it's $1,500 worth. That looks like it's something I could have paid $300 for.” That is how I was left with this issue.
The end result was not what I expected. It was not as advertised. The quality of the material could have been better. That would also include the style of the material. How they go about designing it is misleading because it's based on a drawn grid and we don't see the actual product. We just see parts of it. They would give an example of the shelving itself that has a particular coating. But that coating costs extra. So, they just wanna be able to show me what will cost extra if I pay for it. But if I will get a standard, I will only get to see what the standard product is just through photographs. So, I was disappointed in the end.
I made my opinion clear when it occurred but the technician is in a tough position. They were only there to install it. I got the impression they didn't care anyway and they installed it because it was such an old closet. This is the hard part for consumers. When there's no place to go but up when they have put in something that improves it, they just have to live with it. That consumer is left having to spend an exorbitant amount of money, and not getting his money's worth in the end. If a shelf is 3 inches thick, there's a good chance that you will get a 2-inch-thick shelf in the end. Also, the closet is not what I imagined or was led to believe from the catalog.
Add to that is that when I made that choice and observed I paid quite a bit of money for what my options were. I had other projects that I was interested in. That was to replace closet sliding doors. I knew immediately based on the designer's input was that the sizing of the doors came out to be an exorbitant amount of money, without even seeing it. It was just by looking at a catalog. They were overpriced.
Because I planned on selling my house, I thought Closet World could have done a better job with the quality of the shelving. When I look at the availability of how construction can be done, there's no excuse that they couldn't get a better shelf in there, something that would just make the consumer feel fantastic about it. But in my case, it was an old replacement. There was no other place but to go up. So, what consumers do is settle. Because it's installed, we couldn't tell Closet World to take it off and change it. It wasn't worth the money I spent and the effort and time it took to get it done. I wasn't happy with the end result. But it’s not worth the effort to go in and have them take it out and give me a better one because it would cost more money and it would be inconvenient.

Closet World's guy came over. He and I worked on the design because it was a tricky design because it was only a very small amount of space to work with. We resolved the design issues, and he quoted me a price. I agreed to the price. The installer came, and there was a little bit of a miscommunication between the original guy who did it and the installer. So, the installer had to come back a second time because he didn't have all the materials with him. It was a tricky install because none of my walls are flat, and they don't all come to right angles. I'm very happy with the results. I would recommend Closet World again to people who are interested in building a closet. Overall, I was satisfied but I do feel that they overcharged me a little bit.

Closet World had what we wanted and their prices weren't outrageous. However, they messed up a few times. They had to keep on fixing and apologizing, and it became more and more overpriced. The lady who did the presentation measured incorrectly. Also, she had to call her boss to get confirmation on things because she didn't know quite about her door selection.
Both of the installers were good. The fist one was able to get the measurements correctly to send them over to Closet World to fix that first mistake. But it took several phone calls to get it fixed. One gentleman said a few times that he would call back to give updates but wouldn't. I had to call them. Then a week or two later, we got billed for the incorrect amount and got sent the wrong doors again. It took a couple of tries for them to install it, and it wasn't what we ordered. They asked if they could just give us a little credit in order to compensate. I was planning on using Closet World for future closet projects but probably won't be doing that moving forward.

The person that came out was very easy to talk with. She knew exactly how to design my closet. She had ideas that I didn't think of but she's experienced enough to know that may work for me. It was really very, very easy. She walked me right through it. We sat down with a design and she measured my closet. First, she asked me what I wanted and what was important to me, and how much of this and that. When she was finished, she just took a few minutes away from me and kind of calibrated what we talked about and put a design together. We tweaked it a little bit with drawer size and how many and closet doors, and she came up with the design, and it was really an easy, cooperative thing that both of us came up with.
The installer came in and he was by himself. He offered to take off his shoes, but I said I was in the middle of putting in new floors, so it really didn't matter. And he came in and he just started working. He worked all day on. It. Got here about 9:00. Didn't leave until 4:00. I felt bad for him because he was all by himself. But he managed it and he did it perfectly.

I'm not a big shopper and we just found Closet World. We had garage and bedroom closet cabinetry installed. The designer came and we designed it. The installers were fantastic. But it was weird that they only build from the ground up or they don't hang things. But we got them in. There’s nothing I can do about it.

I liked the guy who came and did a presentation. He knew what he was talking about, listened very well to what our needs were and gave some great suggestions. He was good. I love the product from Closet World. I’ve wanted one of those for 100 million years. It’s beautiful. I was looking online for somewhere to buy a nice desk. I'm starting a podcast for my own business, and I wanted to have a desk that works best for me. I'm a bigger man, and I only see that people are using standing desks for their podcasts. I wanted something better than that because I have expensive equipment, including my camera. I wanted to feel comfortable with the desk. Plus, I saw those standing desks, and one that worked for me was $3,000. It was really expensive.
The price points that Closet World offered me were fair and they showed me the material for the desk and the colors that I can get it in. If I wanted to add file cabinets, I was able to do that as well. They told me that their desk is industrial grade, and it's not gonna shake if I kick it by accident. They built the desk for me, and I love the industrial grade and the quality of the desk. I also love the amount of space I have now with my desk. They have great customer service as well.

Closet World's rep was new. He was very thorough with what he did, and was willing to explain things as he did them. The installation was good. It was only a single person. He was very quick. He knew what he was doing and took care of things. I called him back a couple of times and he wasn't able to answer my questions. He said he had to get with somebody else, but that person never got back to me, so there wasn't follow-up on contacts. Also, there initially was an issue with the delivery, which was odd because I had to wait six weeks to order it. Closet World called me the day before the original install, and they said, “We couldn't get it on the truck. It's gonna take more time.” That was not a good sign for me. Other than that, the closet is a good quality product. I like the material. It was put together well.

Closet World had better deals. I quickly got the appointment with the designer. She came and gave me some options. She listened to my requirements. That experience was good. Closet World did a good job. However, I'm not happy with the drawer case. I’m trying to set up the appointment with them to fix it because we have some pull-out drawer in my walk-in closet and it snapped. I need to get it fixed. It has been more than a month. They need to do some better job with the drawers. Also, when they took down the old cabinets, there were a lot of holes. They did not offer us to patch those. They said, “We are not going to do that. It's not part of our job.” I told them, “It will be nice.” When I move the clothes, I see the old holes in the walls. I'm happy with the rest.

I would recommend Closet World. The consultant who came out was very professional, responsive to my texts and emails. We had one issue where there was a design change. He came out and made the corrections. However, we were given one date of installation, but they never confirmed that date with me. When I rearranged my work schedule. When I contacted them that morning, they said that there was an issue with the design. When I contacted the designer, he was, "No, that was corrected. I don't know what's going on." It took them a couple of hours to contact me back. But at the end of the day, they didn't come out and install until a week later. It was more of a miscommunication issue. The closet is what I expected.

Closet World had a 50% off deal and the second rep I worked with was great but the first one was not. She didn't go into as much detail as far as all the sizes and things for the different closet options we're looking at. I had a closet installed and the installation team did a great job. The closet is good but there's a piece that keeps on coming loose. So, the whole closet bar is falling. It just started happening yesterday so we’re planning on calling today.

In the beginning, I was a bit disappointed because Closet World had agreed for a delivery date then they said they didn't have the cupboards. Then on another time, they still didn't have them so it took several more weeks. Even the day before the installation, I wasn't sure they would really have them. In the end, they had them, but not as fast as they had promised originally. I emailed the designer back and forth when the cabinets were not available. I had also read these hundreds of very negative reviews on Better Business Bureau, which made me regret my purchase.
It's all a sales talk to tell people that they have the products two weeks after they order it which is not true. I also don't know whether the price that I paid was right. They claimed that when I bought the cupboards, there was a promotion of 50% off. I don't think that anybody would buy these cupboards if the price had not been 50% off. But the 50% off was just a sales pitch.
In the end, I got my cupboards and I'm happy with them. They're good quality for what I have I need. The installation was done well, and the installer worked fast and steadily. But I don't think I got a fantastic deal and I don't think my cupboards are better than the cupboards of any other company. I spoke to a few other companies on the phone, but I didn't have a designer coming. I decided a bit too hastily to go with Closet World because I was tired of having the mess over my cupboards that were falling apart.

If you have a standard space and looking for a basic fitting of something, Closet World will work just fine. But if you have anything that is unusual, I would caution using Closet World to be very thoughtful and deliberate and put a lot of time and attention into a design process themselves, and not expect the designer to do any of that for you. The design appointment got rescheduled several times, which was annoying. If I had a real schedule to be on, it would have been more of an issue. It was scheduled at one point for a month out from the date that I scheduled it, and that got pushed out by another month. It got pushed out by another month again. So, it ended up 90 days to get the design appointment on the calendar. But the person herself who came and did the design seemed nice.
I made assumptions about what a design person’s skill set would be like and that they would be able to take into consideration unusual arrangements or give information about best use of space. Once the person came in to do the install, it became clear to me that I should not have assumed. What I was looking for was somebody who could create a design that was more thoughtful than what I could put together, because I'm not a designer-oriented kind of person. It's okay, but it's not great.
All the guy who came and did the install could do was build it the way that it was spec'd out. There was a bit of challenge there. One of the walls in my closet is at an angle, and it became wasted space because they measure it for a straight-out. There is this triangle of space between the edge of the box that they put in and the wall, that it's empty and wasted because there are no options for a custom design. They designed specific pieces. They built a prefab in the space that is there.
I can't fault the builder for the situation that he was in, but he was abrupt. He built the products well. But at one point, he talked to his boss on the phone, and his boss heard my voice in the background. He hung up, which was also frustrating for the builder or the installer. There may even be some challenges in the structure of the company, but the installer did his best and tried to meet my request. But his boss was difficult to deal with.
They let me talk to his supervisor. His supervisor ended up calling back. I had an opportunity to talk to him and express my concerns without the implanted frustration of the installer. The guy spoke fairly good English, but it could use a little improvement. That's fine. I was able to articulate my concerns better than he was for me. I was able to come to a conclusion with them that I would go ahead and have it installed. But after it was all installed, I regretted my decision. I couln't believe I paid that much money for something that is not great.

I was searching online and I found that Closet World is not too far from where I am located. I called them and checked estimates. The lady I talked to seemed very nice and she got exactly what I wanted. The installers were okay. We let them know that they missed something and they did it. They left a little bit of a mess, though. But quality-wise, the product's okay. One thing though, maybe I should have talked to them more about details, materials and type of wood to use. It was a little bit less than I expected.

I had a really great experience with the Closet World salesperson that came in. We got one master bedroom closet set up that had some double hanging. It was a 5x5 space, floor to ceiling, it has a couple areas with shelving, and then some with long hanging and double hanging bars. The designer was really good. He was super communicative even after he left. He gave me his phone number and I texted him a few questions, and he was super responsive. When he was in that day, he was super friendly and was really wanting to get us a good deal. The installers were also great. They were very fast. There was a little bit of a language barrier, but they were very friendly and they even offered to take our old shelves for a small charge out of there so we didn't have to go to the dump, which was really helpful.
The only thing is that that the emails still come in even though I already bought. So, that's kind of annoying, but I get they're obviously wanting us to buy more. What had happened was I had set up a consultation and I wasn't even aware that it was only in person. I was assuming it was a phone call. They ended up having to cancel my appointment. I was waiting for a phone call and then they never called. Then I got a call from Dave the week after that asking if I wanted to still have an appointment. I told him what happened. So, it was a little bit of a miscommunication there. The quality of the product is more than I would have ever wanted for my closet. Wherever I move, I will be calling Closet World to install my future closets.

The rep was friendly. She tweaked the design up a little bit to fit our needs. The installer was good. He did what he had to do and had to re-fix it a little bit to make it fit perfectly. The closet looks nice. But Closet World could have better communication to get everything done. The closet is what we wanted but it's a little bit different than what we thought we were getting. It still worked out great though.

I used Closet World eight years ago on a project, and I was happy with the first product. I had them do a beautiful hutch in my upstairs loft area, and I still love it. It's great and it does what it should do. This time, they had a sale going on, so I called them for that. We redesigned the cabinet and had drawers put in for storage in the kitchen. The concept is great. I had a very good designer but everything fell apart after that.
We had to adjust the glass doors after the guy left because they were hitting each other at the top. They weren't adjusted properly. The installers been out here four times. The first time they came out, they said everything was the wrong size and blamed the sales guy. I called the sales guy and asked what happened. He got mad about them, and I never heard from him again. When they came out to finally do the install, everything was wrong. They had to go back and reorder everything so I had to wait another couple weeks. When they came out, the guy couldn't finish after being here for five and a half hours. The light wouldn't work and so on. He has to come out again so now I'm waiting again.
Each time, a different installer came out. They were very nice gentlemen. But the last time they came out, the man they sent doesn't do this type of install. He had his boss on the phone with FaceTime showing him each thing he did and how to do this and that. The guy was walking him through it so that took a long time. The installer before the last one ended up damaging the mantle on my fireplace. He accidentally hit it with the wood because the wood was so big and it was hard to handle for one man. I said, "What are we gonna do?" He said, "Oh, did I do that?" I said, "I sat here and watched you. I'm so sorry that it happened and I know it was an accident. I'm not beating you up. I'm just saying it has to be fixed. I can't leave at this way." I'm very fastidious about how my house looks. He said he would just mention it when he got there.
The next day, I called and talked to the gentleman that kept calling me, telling me the schedules for the installers. I explained to him what happened. He said, "We can take some white paint." I said, "I could go buy a can of white paint if that solves the problem. But you're not gonna take a can of white paint and put it on that corner of my mantle over my fireplace. No, it needs to be fixed properly." I asked if they wanted me to find somebody on my own, get it fixed and send them the invoice. Or did they wanna send somebody out that properly handles mantles. But I did not get an answer to that. To this day, I still don't know who to call, and my mantle is still damaged. I sent him photos of the damage but I've never heard from him.

We had Closet World before and we went with them again recently. I give a thumbs up to their rep, however they don't do soft close which we thought they did. They charged us for the soft close, but we didn't get it, so they gave us a credit after three phone calls. It was a pain in the neck to get done.

Closet World's product was very good, and the installers were great. I got six doors and a built-in closet in the master bedroom, and they were timely in coming and installing them. Everything went fine. They were in and out of here in no time, so there was little inconvenience. However, I'm not crazy about their sales methods. I needed what I needed before they ever came, so I knew what I wanted, but they were high pressure. "You gotta buy it today. If you don't buy it today, the price is going up." I can't imagine what they do to other people. That's the name of the game though.

The designer was very personable, professional and down to earth, and my interaction with her was lovely. However, it was my installer who impressed me the most because he was very compassionate and personable. Nowadays, that's hard to find. My installer was amazing. He was really concerned about everything, about having it right and the way I wanted it, and he called his boss on a couple of things. They fixed anything I had a problem with. It all turned out great.

I reached out to Closet World, and the sales rep was phenomenal. She listened to everything we wanted and made all the adjustments and gave us a quote. They installed an 8 x 12 walk-in closet with a 330 degrees wraparound multilevel. It's functional with drawers. One guy showed up for the installation. His worker didn't show up that day. And he's been with the company for 26 years. He was there for five and a half hours and did it all himself and it was phenomenal. He didn't nick, scratch, cut, dent, ding or anything any of my house. It worked out very well. It was a good experience. They honored the price and they delivered what they said they were going to. I was impressed.

I needed, for a long time, to do some work on my bedroom, and I became acquainted with one of Closet World's designers. I told him I have this project and he did it. I've been tweaking and doing more stuff, and he's really wonderful. Also, the people who installed were very efficient. Sometimes they had to come back another day but it was okay with me. Closet World is not the cheapest closet system out there, but as long as you know that going into it, you're fine. I had two products with them. So, I had two different designers. The experience was the same with both of them, which is great even though there were two people. They did an office wall for us. The other one was a closet area on a single wall. Both of those were blank slates. There now is a lot of storage. When Closet World set the appointment, I told them what I wanted. I had a rough design of what I wanted it to look like. So, it wouldn't be just free-form coming in. She took measurements of the two areas. And based on my recommendation, she came up with a proposal. We modified the proposal, colors, locations of different type of cabinets, drawers, and finalized the proposal. It took a couple of hours because she had to freehand it. It wasn't a computerized drawing. But she was able to do it successfully to our satisfaction.
Closet World called me once for the scheduling to make sure that everything was still going. And they called me the night before to let me know the time frame the installers would show up. On installation day, I met them here. I walked through the areas where they were would do the installation. I cleared all the clutter, so they didn't have to worry about that. Didn't have to do any demo because I already took care of that. They got to work. They let me know how long they would be here because there were multiple days. They reassured me they would be back the following days during these time frames. And they did. The final product is great. The overall look and feel is what we expected.

I had done my research and the individual that Closet World sent out to meet with me was professional and listened to what I wanted. And with her, we were able to construct something really beautiful. So, I went with them. It had a lot to do with the product they were offering and the price, but it also had to do with the representative that I met with. The install went as planned. The installers showed up, they did it, put it together, and cleaned up all of their stuff, and left. The product looked exactly as I was promised it would. I had a good experience. I would recommend the senior designer that I met with in a heartbeat.

I've used Closet World before, so I used them again recently. I purchased the master bedroom closet. The designer was awesome. He was very thorough, pleasant, and did a good job. The installation crew was good too. The only issue I had was with the scheduling team. They kept changing it. They were supposed to show up at 8 o'clock but it was 10 o'clock, and they were not there. I called. They said, "We're sorry, they're on their way."

We got a couple of quotes and Closet World's was more reasonable. The designer was great. We wanted to wait and talk it over and let her know the next day and she was a little pushy at the end about sealing the deal, but I've never met a salesperson that doesn't do that. We did our walk-in closet in our master bedroom, so we have drawers and shelves. I also have an art studio where we had similar stuff installed for a lot of storage. Installation was fantastic. Those guys were great. They were very fast, efficient and professional.

As it was a small project, I felt it would be perfect to use Closet World because this is all they do. I have a company that I normally use for any remodeling but I thought I'd rather go with professionals. The rep who came was very informative and accommodating with budget. She showed me how it works and how I could go super high-end or I could keep it to basics. She let me keep the book and it went very well. She drew it out and gave her recommendations after listening what my husband needed. She came up with a plan that we agreed to. The installation was straightforward. The installer cleaned up after himself as well. I'm very happy with the closet and I would definitely recommend Closet World. I'm probably gonna have my other closets done in the future. My husband likes it too. It's functional now.

The rep was very nice. The installation took five weeks after purchasing, and it was good. I like my closets but the experience was not pleasant. Closet World is overpriced and I had a lot of problems with them. They did a change order on me and didn't bother to tell me that that was gonna change my delivery date. It was a big fiasco, and I would not recommend Closet World to anybody.

I was inquiring about upgrading my closets and noticed that Closet World had a sale going online. We redid two small closets in two bedrooms which didn't take the installers long to install. They were timely and clean. They also did shelving and hanging bars. It was high quality closet material and very well done. The designer was very nice as well. She was also very attentive to detail.

Closet World did a good job and for the price that I was charged, I'm satisfied. I found them on the internet, and compared to another company, they were less expensive. The installer was gonna come around noon time and I informed the Closet World prior to that I had to leave by 1:00 to pick up a nephew, but the information wasn't passed on. The installer came earlier and he did the job quick. He said it'd take about five hours. Unfortunately, I had to leave and he wasn't done yet. Closet World's visit was enjoyable. We got a pretty straightforward walkthrough of what we wanted done and there was a conceptual drawing completed at the time of the consultation. So, we had an idea of the concept, the layout, and the pricing, at the end of the consultation. They were thorough. The installation was easy and each of the four projects were completed in a day. We love them all and we're very happy with the results. But for the price, Closet World should include soft close hinges. It's the only thing that I'd have to go back and redo on the drawers and cabinets.

I'll warn others as a message of caution to be very sure of what the measurements were, because I faced that issue. And I had to follow up on them for two weeks. Closet World came thrice to install. They broke something in the middle. They went back, they reinstalled it. The product was good. It's a good quality product. Whatever was promised was delivered from the product side.
But there was a lot of back and forth which happened between whatever the designer measured. What he designed was not what the installers came in they had. And they had to repeat that again. Two of the closets were not what I suggested them. But they said they didn't have any options to do that, and they just did whatever they wanted to. I was not very happy with that. I don't know how the designer measured it. And when the installer came in, they had other measurements. For example, I had five drawers. He said, "No, my listing does not say drawers. My listing says an open door."
I wanted six-inch above the ground. They installed 80% of my cabinet above six-inch. One of them, they did not. They made it from the ground. So, it looks very odd in my garage. That's what not I wanted. I wanted everything to be hanged up. I told the installer. He said, "We'll let the company know." Nobody followed up on that. If given an option to go with somebody else, I would say yes. Because the way the things are installed in my garage, I was not satisfied with it. That is not what the outcome I wanted.

I took advantage of a sale that Closet World had going on. Their sales guy was very responsive and available. They were very fast during the installation but they must have dragged some of the heavier pieces on my new hardwood floor, so they scratched my floor. But I had other people here too, so it's too hard to prove that it might have been when Closet World did the the installation.

The consultation with Closet World was good. Debbie was super sweet. The layout was good as well and the installers got it done super fast. It worked out perfectly. The only thing is I'm still waiting on repair items. Two of the front of the drawers are scratched, so they are supposed to replace them. My installation was August 20th and I had to reach out and call them back. I called them last week to see what the status was. They told me they'd get back to me but they haven't gotten back to me yet.

I saw Closet World on Instagram and they offered 50% on placing an order for a closet. We had closet shelves installed in our three rooms and one master bedroom. It works fine with me. Based on seeing our closet size, Closet World drew different models and showed us different drawers and what kind of material and color they would use. We selected and proceeded with the Closet World installation. The person who came and installed was friendly and did his job very well. He was more explanatory and telling which were movable and not, how we could adjust what is needed. The installation was over in a single day.
When we placed the order, we gave all the three checks to the person who came and drew us the closets thing. But on installation day, they asked again for the third check. That was when some confusion started to arise. I showed the proof that I already gave the check, but they said that it was not delivered to them. I had to give another check. I was fed up with the way they handled my checks and they were not able to locate it properly. After that, we called and they said they would make sure they would not deposit that check. So far, that was good. That got resolved separately. But I was very disappointed because they were not able to locate it correctly and were not aware that I already gave the three checks. That got resolved separately.

My experience with Closet World has not been good. I'm still struggling. Initially, we had some discussion with the designer. We had told her that we need the pantry, exact extension of a kitchen, which she had agreed. She had told us that accessories would be included and the soft closures would be as it is as we have. But when they came to install it on that day, it was a surprise because the handles were different and there was no soft closure. I raised the concern and they gave us the handle after a few weeks. Till date, I'm waiting for the soft closure.
The guy who had come to install was smart and has done a good job. We are happy with that. But I'm upset with the manager. He says that he's gonna book it directly to my place. But he's not giving the exact date. I have been asking him and he's been saying that it's gonna take time which I don't believe because there has to be some timeline. For each of the things I'm asking, he's giving me vague answers. I have been following up with him the last week. Since I had to order the matching handles and they were installed, he told me he would initiate a refund of $150. That has also not been done till now. I am not happy with the experience and I don't think I'll be recommending anyone to go ahead with Closet World.

I was looking for somebody to redo our closets and I found Closet World online. I called a couple of different closet companies and they were the ones that called me back first. Their rep came out and she asked us what we wanted to do. She did everything and she didn't have to involve us. We gave her all the information and she did all the measurements and produced the results for us that we wanted. She was very hands-on high level of customer service.
Then, the installer came out and he verified all measurements. He brought the full pieces of wood in there and cut them to specific sizes. Also, he cleaned up the mess in the driveway, which was very important too. It was a much better, higher level of customer service than we received from the other company I had used. The only thing was there were already certain panels on the closet for the old pieces that were there when the house was built. They removed them so the closets fit much more perfectly and I had to paint over those but they didn't tell me. But I had a guy come in and paint them quickly. It wasn't a big deal. If you're looking for closet organizers or garage or anything else, I would call Closet World first and have them come out. That level of customer service doesn't exist with other companies.

Closet World’s marketing was on point. Multiple flyers came to our home and also from either Facebook or Instagram with the 50% off and free installation. The representative who came over and assisted us was extremely helpful and honest, and was able to sell us exactly what we wanted and needed for our space. We didn't feel pressured to spend more than we needed and it was a comfortable experience.
The designer was very thorough and asked how much clothes we have, how many shoes and what kind of storage options. We have a big walk-in closet that we're remodeling and she took into account pieces of furniture that we already had and things that we're expecting to reuse. She ensured to draw those up in the designs and in the measurements and gave us also additional options if we wanted to add on later. She was able to keep within our price point while doing so and we have plenty of room and still adding more stuff to the shelves in the closets and rearranging. So, she did great being able to meet our needs and also incorporate things that we already have.
The installer was wonderful. He did everything timely and was spot-on with his estimates. The crown molding that he put on looks amazing so, he had very skilled craftsmanship. He was very nice and respectful. He cleaned up and had us look at everything and explained how we could move shelves around. I felt bad because after he was done with our job, he had to drive for his next job all the way to Long Beach from our location. Hopefully, he met his next appointment on time because that was not an easy drive from the Inland Empire to Long Beach during rush hour. And he didn't complain once. He just kept on moving on. So, I have mad respect for him.
I've recommended Closet World to some friends who bought a new build out in the homeland to take a look and see for anything that they need to do, especially with what Closet World was able to do that was a reasonable price and not having to put in the labor ourselves. In today's economy, I wish everything would be a little bit less expensive though.

Closet World come out and because it was a holiday coming, they had the 50% off and the free installment specials. The lady explained to us the different types of wood that they have. The quality of work was good for what I paid. They put some drawers, a space to hang the clothes, and a space to put the shoes underneath. But we had some hiccups along the way. There was a material that we chose then a week before it came, they said they didn't have it. I had to choose something else. I also explained to the ladies that I was gonna be on vacation and asked if they could come on a specific date. They were supposed to install it Sunday and Monday but they changed the date without consulting me and I couldn't be asking for more days off work.
When we had talked with the lady, we pointed out that the closet was weird. She ignored what we said and told is it was gonna look good. But when I came, a part of the closet was obstructed and my daughter cannot use that part of the closet because of the way it is. I will have to take that part of the wall for it to be used. But it was our fault because we agreed to the design. We thought it was gonna be okay but it's horrendous. But the rest of the closet is good.

I saw some of the social media ads for Closet World and wanted to try that. I also got in touch with one of my friends who got their closet done through Closet World, and the feedback was good. I went ahead with them and have completed two projects with them for three of my rooms. But my experience has been not so great as I expected it to be. I had some issues with the first project installation. The designer that I worked with did not clearly understand the design request. The first installation showed that. It looked incomplete so I had to add more specifications and get the flow taken care of through a second effort.
When I did the second installation for the other two rooms, again, the same problem surfaced. The designer did not understand the request clearly and all the measurements that we expected were not accurate. Also, there was no clear communication regarding the offer. We were given an impression that there was an ongoing 50% discount and a free upgrade to whatever design we picked up. But that was not the case when the installation happened. We received the 50% discount but we did not receive the upgrade. When I reached out to my designer about it, they said, "I'm sorry if I missed that," which is not acceptable.

I had two different companies come and the designer from Closet World fit my needs better. She was lovely. The prices were almost identical. So, I went by customer service. But the designer gave the installers the wrong design and they ended up having to take them out and redesign it, which ended up costing me an additional $800 because of her error. I was very unhappy. But David, the installation manager, was very kind and considerate, and helped me along the whole way. The installer, Brian, was amazing. He only installs what they give him to install and he came both times for the initial installation that was incorrect. Then, he came back last week to do the new install.

I was very pleased with Closet World. I especially liked my saleswoman. She was very helpful. I didn't know what I wanted but she helped me figure it out very quickly. She knew her stuff. The price was right as well and the installer was very knowledgeable. They did three closets for me and a Murphy bed. I show it off all the time and people are very impressed with the work they did.

It's been a horrible experience with Closet World. They have not brought in the items that I need. It's one shelf and one rod that I'm waiting for weeks now. Nobody calls or takes charge. They have too much bureaucracy or so and so is gonna take care of this but nobody does. I'm very frustrated by them. They were supposed to bring some shelving that was part of the deal. We paid for them but they never brought them. They can't add them now and said they would refund us but we have not received it. The person who came this time was a nicer one than last time. The last time, I gave the deposit, but I canceled and never got that money. This time, they did 90% of the work and I'm not hearing from them. I'm not very happy. They don't know what they're doing or they're purposely doing things that they're not supposed to.

When Closet World came in and spoke to me, I liked the information and the pricing. They were very friendly individuals as well. The closet looks great. I wish I had one more item added but I got the pricing for it and it's expensive for me right now to do it. Other than that, I like the job that they have done in my garage. They also did one whole closet in one of my bedrooms and a closet in my master. The person who did it for me, Hector, is a wonderful guy. He's done a fantastic job and I'm happy.

Closet World doubled up the closet space and put in a sturdier place where you can hang the clothes. They put in shelves and drawers. They worked in the master bedroom where we have two separate closets. They did very well on my girlfriend's closet, but mine wasn't what I was expecting. I thought I was going to have drawers as well since that was what they came up with during the consultation. But they ended up putting shelves which kind of stretch out to the hanging part where I hang up my shirt, so it's hard to get to some of the shirts. I was frustrated doing the whole thing, so I just left it as it is.
Also, on the original day that I had the appointment, I was trying to see if I could get it a few days later. But it ended up being a couple of weeks later. Even on the day of the appointment, I got two different times. Then, the time that they were supposed to come, that changed as well. I ended up taking off work for them to come and do the projects since they don't work on the weekends. Other than that, the quality of the work was good and my girlfriend likes it. It is better than the old setup. But I would tell my friends to research other companies.

I heard about Closet World through social media and they were having a great offer. So, I called the number, and they sent someone out. I really connected with her. She was super easy to work with, and I decided to go ahead and use them. The designer was very communicative, easy to talk to, and knew the product really well. The decisions as far as color were real simple. We remodeled our bathroom not too long ago, and she was able to nail the design quickly on the first shot with me on what I was looking for. We did white built-in closets.
Closet World confirmed the appointment the day before the installation, and I was surprised that only one person came out, but he was able to handle the whole thing himself. I was amazed that he was able to do it. He got here when he said he would and he was here until almost 8 o'clock at night. I was told the whole job might take two days, but he was able to get it done in a day. We have two walk-in closets with a set of drawers put in each one and some shelves for shoes and regular hanging as well. He built out the whole thing and added the backing. I haven't ever hired Closet World before. It was our first experience, but I've had lots of different contractors in my house. The installer from Closet World was easy to work with, and we're happy with the work he did.

We had a closet put in by Closet World before. It has been a good experience. The rep listened to what I had in mind. But I also let her know that I was open to any suggestions. She came up with a plan, I made some changes, and she happily did that for me. The guy that came out was very sweet and nice. I had baseboards in the closet and for I don't know what reason, he had to take those out, which he did a great job at, but I didn't know that there was a separate fee to haul away the garbage. If it was told to me at the onset, I didn't remember it, and I don't remember seeing it anywhere, but that might be something that Closet World could do. He worked hard and was very diligent. I have a good relationship with the Closet World designer. She was very personable. I had her phone number and we texted back and forth so she kept in touch with me. There were some delays and some problems with install, and she always was reaching out to try to troubleshoot things. So I would say that I had a very excellent relationship with the designer. She's probably the best thing about my whole experience, because there were problems with install, ordering back orders, and stuff like that afterwards.
I had an install day of 10 days after I met with the designer, and I had the two gentlemen come out. And they didn't have all the materials. They didn't have the whole order. I didn't know that until they got here. They also hung one of the doors. It wasn't a perfect fit. So they told me, “Well, when we bring back that other item, we will fix the door.” So then that was another week. Then they installed the door and they installed the workbench.
I'm an artist and I work in my garage as a workshop. So I upgraded the whole garage to better design for what I was doing. I was teaching classes there. It's very nice. They put in a 96-inch long work bench and they put in three 90-inch tall cabinets that were mounted off the floor so they were floating. And then they also brought two 4 x 4 slat walls. And then the worst issue with Closet World that I had revolved around this issue of slat walls. The way the company works is that they sell you a unit that can only work with a certain kind of hardware. So, if you have these slat walls and you wanna put hooks on them, you have to order the hooks either from Closet World itself, or I found the exact distributor in Canada.
I could have gotten all the hardware from Canada, but would have cost a lot more money in shipping. It would have cost me $200 in shipping. It still would have been cheaper than what Closet World would quote me, but I didn't wanna wait for the time it would take to get it from Canada. So I ordered it from Jean, who was the designer, and she came out and I paid for it up front. So, I didn't finance the hardware. Closet World only has one option, which is to buy a kit that contains about 20 pieces. And so you don't really get any kind of an extra option to select more pieces individually. And they did not arrive at the same time as the second install date. I waited a week and they still hadn't come. I waited another week, and they still hadn't come. Finally, two more days later, they said they'd bring them.
They brought them, and I opened the box to make sure they fit. From the experience I had, had I known in advance, I wouldn't have chosen Closet World for those reasons. It wasn't satisfying to have to wait for the hardware almost a month extra, from the time they put the slat wall up to the time I actually got the utility hooks. That was not satisfactory as far as I was concerned. It's very disingenuous to offer customers something like the slat wall units and then give them no choices, and also not really be good with getting the product on time.
Everyone who looks at the garage now is absolutely blown away and impressed with how it looks. So, there's really no quibble there about the quality and the product. But the timeline promises, and also if you ever wanna get slat wall and utility hooks for it, don't buy them from Closet World because you'll have to wait. They don't have the selection, so you might as well go to your local big box store or Costco because they have similar things. Each one doesn't fit the other, and so you have to buy the exact slats that go with the hardware. You can't mix and match. So, it's really important when you're sitting there with the designer that they take the time to explain that.

We previously used Closet World and used them again. The rep asked all the questions that we needed 'cause now we're having to rethink our closet doors and we put drawers in, but we're more focused on drawers than closet doors.

Closet World did work for me years ago when I lived someplace else. I used them again and the rep was lovely. We were expecting to do a lot more then I figured I didn't need to do that much work. She worked with me very well, did what I asked and I like that. She was so pleasant and easy to work with. What they ended up doing was making one long hanging area for me, a slat board behind the door, and the rest of it were shoe racks. This is the smallest closet ever but she's made it work except for the shoe rack isn't right. There's not enough rack and I'm trying to get this rectified right now. There's not enough to put shoes on and there's way too much space in between. I need another four more because of wasted space.
I had an experience with the installer too. He put the slat board in but it doesn't match and it catches things. He did it right from the top and the bottom. But where it meets is not right. Initially, Closet World sent someone right away. But I'm moving and it's my fault for not following up. I called them again and told then it's not right yet. I need more shelves. I need someone to fix the slat board where it meets. It's not just a big mess where I can ruin my scarves and things. Nonetheless, I still like Closet World and I'd still use them.

I had two different companies come and look at the closets. I had to make a decision on which person that came made the better impression and I went with Closet World. We had them do two master bedroom closets and which are at different ends of the room. I'm satisfied with the quality and they're nice. But before the installer left, I wish he had asked me to look at each one and say that everything was fine just the way I wanted it. Because there is something missing that he could have made completed.
There's a space between the end of the contained closet part and the end of the closet room. I also wanted a little clothes rod in that space which is no more than nine inches. And every time I use the closet, I'm sorry that I don't have that one little clothes rod because it would have allowed me to have my extra long robes in there in that space. That space is wasted and it's empty. And the robes are bunching up. It doesn't look nice to have the bottom 18 inches or so of the robes piled up on top of the drawers.

So, we had a wonderful experience all around. I love my closet. It was very expensive at $30,000 which we were not happy with. But it's fabulous.

I went with Closet World when they were doing a 50% off deal. The rep seemed to know what she was doing. She drew up the room, took the measurements, showed us what it was like, and worked with us on the design. My wife was there for the installation and I've Zoomed or FaceTimed in a few times to check on everything. There was one issue with it, the way we drew it up. The top shelf didn't match. We told the installer about it and he fixed it. We FaceTimed again, checked it and everything was great. You could probably save some money doing it yourself but I don't know if the quality would be the same. Overall, I feel good about the install and the value is there. I'd recommend Closet World.

I started with Closet World a long time ago, and they're terrible. I've done about 20 projects with them and it's like every time I do a project with them, there's a problem. Either they're not cleaning up behind themselves or there are scratches on the product and paint is chipping off my wall. Why do they keep telling me it's a manufacturer defect? They should check their product before they bring it to my house, then they won't have to keep coming back and forth. One time, they sent somebody in here who didn't speak any English at all.
Customer service goes a long way, and it seems like their installer manager is not very understanding. In my opinion, he doesn't have a friendly voice. He doesn't know how to communicate. When I reach out to him, it's like he's very nasty or offensive about the complaint that I'm making. That's not professional. However, I keep going back because everybody always says how beautiful my house is. So, I don't want to hire another company and get different material. I stick with Closet World, but they're definitely overpriced. Right now, I still have about five more projects that I want them to come inside of my house to do, but I already know I'm gonna have to keep calling them back because of a problem.

Closet World did the closet in the master bedroom. I have up and down hangers and a full length closet to hang. I've got drawers, shelving and an armoire done with doors on it. I've got 8 units put into my house and the quality is perfect. Closet World gave us a really good discount because the first designer who came was very unprofessional. He brought his kid with him and was an hour late. He wrote down things but never gave me a copy of the design. He also never followed up. He told me he was gonna get me a quote within a week but the quote never came in.
A month had passed by then I called Closet World again, and Makenna was excellent. She came by right away. I signed the contract the same night that she came over and gave us the design and the pricing. That was how impressed we were with her. She's already been recommended and she's already gone to a couple of our friends already. I told her that I have two more closets I wanna look into, but not right away because I don't have the budget. The installers were good as well. They scheduled me within two weeks of me ordering and came in a day before my scheduled date. We even gave them a good tip because they did such a tremendous job in our house.

The first meeting with the Closet World rep was great. He did not show up for the time that he was supposed to be there and it was very hard to work with them on that. It took them about two more weeks to finally get things scheduled. I hired them for my man cave closet and I am happy with the final product. But I don't think I'd work with Closet World again. I think I overpaid based on what I saw from some competitors. Also, I called a competitor to come in and the price that they quoted was $1,000 less than what Closet World quoted me. And Closet World said I was getting a 50% discount, plus the loyal customer discount. Had I known I'd be paying what Closet World charged me, I could have just gone to California Closets.

The sales guy that called was a good guy, but the product wasn't that much for the cost. It's expensive for what it is. Besides that, installer was good. He got the product in and got it done, and the quality is good.

Their designs were good. The designers gave us good options. They were able to grab my idea. So, they were able to work around it. They were giving me good ideas as well. The closets were on the opposite directions. So, they were able to guide us. I'm enjoying the new closet.

The designer was very nice. I didn't really have any input on the design because I'm hoping to sell this place. I'm not gonna tailor it for my needs because I wasn't gonna stay. But she was able to make a very nice plan that is very functional. My only complaint about her was that I had to repeatedly email her. I had two closets and a laundry room done. She initially sent me the sketch for the smaller closet with the pricing. But I had to keep reaching out to her to get the sketch for the master closet. She would send it to me. But I would ask about pricing and she would send me the same thing. So, it took several tries to get the sketch and the pricing for what she designed. But she did a really nice job as far as layout and places to put things.
The installation only took a day. The installers did my master closet, a secondary bedroom closet. I have a laundry alcove and they put a cabinet in there for me. The closets look very nice. There are peel-off labels on each component and I wished they peeled them off because I'm recovering from a knee surgery and I'm not real ambulatory. I can't get up and down on steps too well. Otherwise, they did a great job. I recommended Closet World to my sister-in-law and I told them I was happy with the service and the product that I got.

I tried to call Closet World's sales representative back many times after she got the sale with me with my closet and she said, "Call the department. They're gonna help you." She sent me that phone number. That was fine. I called her again after the installation, and I wanted to ask her about the glass doors for the closet for my daughter but she never answered and would not call me back. But the installers were good. I haven't tried some material of the closet. And I don't know what type of material the rep sold me. But I told her I wanted the good material. It didn't matter if it was a bit more expensive. But I don't like it much. It feels like it's like a plastic. It doesn't feel like it's real wood.

We scheduled the appointment with Closet World and it was easy through online. Then their reps gave us a call and the cost was in our budget. They gave us a time and day, then they came and gave the drawings. We approved everything, then they gave a date for the installation. The installers came on time and did everything fine. Everything went well and we have no complaints. But for installation, there was only one person and it was so hectic for him. It would be good if they send two people together. Also, they told us that the installation should be under four hours. But since it was just one person, it took close to six hours.

I had a new unit installed. I had a great experience with the Closet World designer, but it went downhill from there with the installing situation. The designer was nice. She spent the whole day here. I had a bit of an issue with the installer who asked if I wanted him to haul my materials, and I told him no. Because I just moved into a brand-new home and I wanted to keep my shelving to reuse it in another part of the house. Unfortunately, he took it with him despite me telling him to leave my stuff here.
I found it unusual that he would ask, "For an extra $50, do you want us to haul?" I said, "No. All my stuff is new. I wanna keep it." And he took it. When I called and complained, his manager was rude and said, "Would have been taken anyway. It's just particle board." I said, "But it's my stuff. I told him not to." And he said, "But that's standard procedure." I said, "But I said not to take it. You should have requested that." That was back and forth.
He called me a couple times, made it right. But I still have yet to receive the credit of my account, which I was going to call today about. He said it should appear on the Wells Fargo credit card. I checked it yesterday but it has not been on there. I told the installation team, "Next time you have a 50% off, I wanna do my office. If you do a good job here, I definitely would be a repeat customer." But I don't know if I would do that now based on my experience.

I used Closet World 37 years ago. My kids were little. I used them before with their closets. I happen to be online and was looking at some of the advertisement and they had a sale. So, I thought, "Okay. I've been wanting this little closet done." My designer was great. He listened to what my needs were and came up with some plans. He was very professional and respectful. He was realistic.
I have an older home and a very small closet and I was cramming everything in there. What made me want to organize it was because I couldn't see my purses because I had them hidden way back there. It's an old closet. I don't have a lot to work with it but I figured, if I get it organized, at least, it allowed me to throw away some stuff and minimize some stuff. I just needed to be organized so that I could have some simplicity in my life, and some organization so that I can grab and go. Now, I can see everything. I can see my purses. I can see my shoes.
I was a little disappointed because I didn't know that they were going to not patch my wall. Had I known that, I probably would have tried to do the demo myself and try to patch and paint a little bit. The quality, to me, I thought I could have had a little bit more. When you're putting up closets and things like that, sometimes it comes with the trim or that finished loo, and I didn't have that. It probably was extra if I did that. So, I was a little disappointed with that. It suits what I need for this older home that I have. Had I had a lot more space and all of that, I would have wanted a more polished look.

My experience with Closet World was really good from start to finish. I have no complaints. We had a really pleasant experience with our designer, and the installers arrived on time. The whole experience was very smooth. They took measurements before the installation, and they confirmed it with me. They showed me the design, then they started their work and cleaned the closet after they finished. Everything was very clean and nice-looking. Everything was perfect.
Initially, I got one estimate from another company before Closet World. The other company made me wait over a week for the estimate and the design, then installation, they said, would take three days and wouldn't happen until a month later. The first time, though Closet World attempted to come out, they were running late and I could not wait for them so I had to reschedule. The second time they came out, they were on time and it was great. The presentation was not pressuring. I was part of the design and they gave recommendations based upon my feedback. The installers were on time. They forgot a part, but they solved that problem the very next day.

The designer did a wonderful job about picking the color I needed for my closet. He picked out white wood and my house is Spanish style so he nailed it. He told me he's only been doing it for six months, but I thought they've been trained. I didn't know what I wanted and even told him I did not clean my closet, that I needed him to help me design what needed to be done. When he pulled up a piece of paper to design what needed to be done and not on a computer, my husband who used to be a drafter got turned off.
The installation people were on time. They did everything perfectly by the book. But when they showed me the layout, it was not the same layout that I saw. I'm not a big clothes person, but I have 15 inches worth of long dresses. The designer measured for it. But when they came and installed, they did not account for that so right now, I have my long dresses on a rack that only one-third of it is being used. Where I put my leggings or pants is great but I wasn't told where I could order more if I need them. I gotta get rid of clothes in order to put clothes. The designer told me I needed a hamper. Now, I've got a hamper, which I thought was bigger. But it's just a wood piece so I got to have a plastic hamper to move my clothes in so I could take it to a laundry room. My husband said, “Shouldn’t have there been something you could pull out and take to the laundry room?” However, they didn't tell us that.
Thank God the cabinets adjust and my husband knows how to move them up and down. But nothing was said to us. I didn't know that there was somewhere I could put my baseball hats. I did not know where to put my jewelry. I didn't know I could have put glass in my cabinet. With dark wood, you need glass so you could protect your purses. But I have no glass at all. I didn't know we could put lights. I also didn't know how much I would be spending on the closet until after they ordered everything, and I almost paid seven something thousand. The material is excellent but the closets are extremely small. I still had to buy baskets to put other stuff. I've been going to Amazon to buy other accessories to hang hats and mirrors. We have done a lot to make it look so much better. My husband had to do a lot of work after the fact. My brother paid about 5,000, and his was almost a whole bedroom-size closet with glass.
After the designer did the measurements, he was in a horrible motorcycle accident. I never saw him ever after. I would have figured that the designer would have been here on the day of installation. We could have made more modifications but there was no time to make modifications ‘cause he was ill and there was no backup person. A manager should have stepped up and got someone else to help us and answer questions we had before they did the work. But I've yet to get a call to see how did everything go. The designer also asked me if I could put a review about his service because that's how he gets paid and gasoline is very expensive driving from LA to San Diego. I did not know that Closet World's showroom and where they come from is LA. I thought they were based in San Diego. They didn't tell us that as well. I would not recommend Closet World.

I used Closet World when they had a 50% off deal going, and it was a good experience from the start to finish. A lady came out, helped my wife design the closet, and gave us advice on what we shouldn't order and what we can order to keep the cost. The installer did a good job as well. The closet is not the fanciest thing I've ever seen, but it's good.

The Closet World sales representative that worked with me was very accommodating and answered my questions. When I sent her emails, she got back to me right away. She came out at least three times. The installers were here for two days, did a good job and cleaned up after themselves. Everything turned out very well. It was what I wanted. What it was before was a disaster, and what it is now is organized and presentable. If someone were to come into my closet, I wouldn't be embarrassed, which I was before. I would highly recommend Closet World and I'm thankful that I went with them.

We purchased closets for our garage and the designer was nice, but I didn't get what I had specifically asked for. I have a bunch of tubs with different things in them and I gave them the tubs that I have. That's what I wanted to put into the cabinets. I should have been better at looking at her measurements to see if it matched up with the measurements of the cabinets. The cabinets are too wide and I was told later on after it was installed that I can only put 50 pounds per shelf. If they had made them shorter, I could have another cabinet fit in and put more of these tubs in the cabinet space. I also said I wanted the shelves white inside and outside and that's not what I got. The shell of the unit was all melamine white, but the shelves were raw. I had to pay another 1,400 to get the melamine on the shelving, too.
Also, when they came out to put the new shelves in, they forgot the extrusion piece, which is a metal piece that goes on the side of the shelf to give it more strength. They were gonna put it on both sides and it came out with one side so they had to come back out again. I still think their product is good, though. But you need to be very specific on exactly what you want and don't trust their measurement. Double check everything that they're doing.

Closet world has done a closet for me previously. I used them again, and it was a great experience. Everything was done professionally and on schedule. The designer was wonderful. The installer was fantastic. He cleaned up after himself, installed properly, even made adjustments because my sister is disabled and made suggestions like, "We need to lower this bar because if we leave it up that high, she won't be able to reach it." They were very professional except the one guy called in sick on the Friday they were supposed to do the original installation.

The whole thing with Closet World was a screwup. It took months to get the pantry in and it was a very simple job. We wanted five shelves in the pantry and we asked for the wood to be bullnose. They said it would be fine but there would be an extra charge. Then, when it came time to put it in, they said they don't do that. In the end, they installed the pantry and it's usable, but it took them trip after trip after trip because they kept making it wrong in terms of the measurements. I would never ever use them again or recommend them. And for the money we paid, all we got are five boards in there.

The two different people that I've dealt with as my salespeople have been more responsive to me and my questions, and the price was very inducive. We had our master closet done and one closet in each bedroom. The installers forgot some parts. They didn't put them in. Rogelio reordered them and Closet World sent somebody else out. But they didn't install the drawer dividers correctly. They put the little strips that hold the dividers in at the bottom of the drawer but they needed to be at the top. So, Rogelio came out and fixed it. The only other snafu was it took us three times to order additional shelves for our master closet. Overall, it was a very good job. We're satisfied with our closets.

It was easy to use Closet World's website, and the rep was very nice and helpful. I had designed the closet another way, then she said, “Let's put the drawers over here.” It worked out good. The gentleman who did the installation was very nice as well. He explained things very well, and he really talked to me. It wasn't like he just came in. That was very nice. The only thing is Closet World keeps calling to get another closet done. I've gotten two, and I don't have any more closets to be done. Besides that, I love the product. It’s almost the same as another company's, but their estimate was more than the one from Closet World.

I called Closet World to schedule a consultation. And with the plans that they drew up and the pricing that they gave us, we were comfortable with the service. The installation was fine. It took a little longer than I expected. They only had one person do it. So, it took I think over five hours. Other than that, it was good. The closet is great.

Years ago, I had someone draw a plan for my closet. They came out and measured everything and gave me a plan. I did do the closet based on what their plan was, but I didn't get closet doors. So, most recently, I got closet doors that went along with my closet. I saw that Closet World had the doors I wanted. I had the doors and the tracks installed. They didn't have the tracks right. They gave me a single track rather than a triple track. I have three doors. They fixed it right away and came and installed it. So, it was fine. I'd recommend the company. The product is good, and the people who did the installations were very careful with my things and also did a good job in a reasonable amount of time.

I understand what Closet World is trying to do. "We have another special. We can come out. Do you have anything you want?" I said no. And they called me again, which was okay. But by that time, I was a little annoyed. It was a little pushy for me. Because if I say no, I mean no. I don't mean maybe. I realized that not everybody does that, but it was annoying. Other than that, the designer was very thorough and nice. She stayed an hour and a half. And not all of it was connected with talking about my small laundry room. The installers had everything they needed. Once I let them in, I didn't do anything else. There was a lot of hammering. And when they left it was like, "Whoa, that's cool." I'm very happy. It's not fancy, but it does what I need it to do. I took advantage of the Mother's Day special. I paid half of what I should have and installation was free. You should try Closet World.

Closet World's rep knew her product and she was very good. The shelving is difficult to move after they were put in because the hinges make it difficult to move in and out. They get in the way to try to move the shelving. They're close. If I wanted to move the shelves up and down or make larger or smaller spaces for the shelves, I couldn't move or take it out completely. We wanted to take one shelf out completely, but we couldn't because the hinges made it impossible to take the shelving out. Other than that, the closet is a very good product. It came out very well. We like the design, and I would recommend it to any friends.

In 2010, we had Closet World do a closet and then since then, we've had some other closets in the past six months that we have them put in new and then replace. The designer was really great. She was on time. She was communicating by text with us. She was very kind and had good ideas, and took her time to measure. As far as the install day, they called us up ahead of time. They set up a date with us. Then they called us up again like the day before. The installer gives the time that he's coming in, and then he comes at that time. They tell us, "I'm gonna be such and such time" as they arrive. They come in and they do their work. The quality of work is very good. I like that I can see all my clothes. I like my drawers. I'm happy with all my closets.

I'm happy with Closet World. I went with a basic shelving, three-drawer hanging section. It wasn't a very big closet. It wasn't anything fancy, but that's all we needed. The installation was simple. They came in. It took them an hour at the most, and everything went smooth. So far, so good. I think they’ll last long. If you need your space organized, Closet World is a good company to call.

Closet World was great. I couldn’t be happier. I had two bedroom closets installed and they're fantastic. Michelle was amazing. She was very professional. She had a great design. She was very easy to work with. We had some changes, and we had no issues whatsoever. The job was installed by a senior installer, so we had no issues there. A senior installer did come out as promised, and we're very happy with the service.

The process went smoothly and Closet World explained things the way how they create their closets. We measured the closets, looked at the design that would work, and the representative was very nice and knowledgeable. When we came and measured it, she showed me what they could do. For one of my closets, I would have wanted something a little different. But she gave me what we designed. The person that I dealt with did a good job. I got what I paid for. I had the area prepared for the installers when they came. They put everything together as it was designed. It took way less time than I thought it would. Everything seems to be okay and sturdy, and it was put together as it was designed.

I'm really happy with Closet World's whole process and the warranty that I came with. I'm so pleased that I chose them. It was a good experience all the way around since the beginning to the end. The designer was the best due to her knowledge and kindness. The guys who came to my house to install were very polite, professional, and efficient. Everything seems to be perfect. Cheaper price is better but according to the service that I got, it's a fair price.

The designer had a very good attitude. I was in a very short time crunch and I had talked to several closet companies who said that they would be six to eight weeks out and she got it done for me in three weeks. I was very happy with it. The installation day was okay. But the walls in the building are concrete and the installer didn't have a way to secure with fasteners on that concrete wall. He was able to glue it and it was very short. It wasn't a very long span. Other than that, it was fine. It was secured on one wall but not both walls, which wasn't that big of a deal. The final product is what I expected. Closet World is professional and the prices were fair. They were able to get it done and they did what they said they were gonna do.

I used Closet World sometime last year and their sale promotion was a big factor in that. Their designer was very good. They redesigned my two sliding closets and a smaller walk-in closet. So, they were helpful in giving feedback on putting in hanging rods and shelving. They were trying to optimize the space for storage as best as possible. The older cabinet contents were taken out. So, we started fresh. Their product was designed, and then manufactured to be able to serve the closet usage fine. I'm very satisfied. The product is good and it seems reasonably priced. Their promotions are worth using.
One thing that I didn't necessarily enjoy is after the first installation they did, which was about a year in between, they called back and did a hard sales job to do more work. And it's like every month, they would do that. And it was multiple people. Finally, I lost my patience at one point with somebody and I demanded to be taken off of their list. I expressed that they should really back off of that and not do that repeatedly.

The salesgirl was very informed and cordial. She did everything she could to work with me. There was only one guy for the installation and I was surprised. But he did a great job and was so nice. I liked him. I got two sliding mirror closet doors for two rooms, and they slide nicely. The price was a little bit high but I'm very happy with what I got.

I like the rep who came out. She wasn't pushy. I designed the closet and she had some good ideas. I told them exactly what I wanted and that's what they gave me. However, it was a fiasco when they installed it. I had asked for a drawer with a lock on it for my jewelry. They drilled the lock in the center of the drawer so you couldn't put a handle on it. They should have put it on the side. Then we ordered a hamper which the guy installed. When I went to open it, I couldn't get the basket out. I called Closet World, they got him, and he came back. He said it was the way it was supposed to be. I told him I have one like it in my other house and it's not how it works. He couldn't figure it out so he called his supervisor. The supervisor said, “Give them a bag to put in it.” That doesn't work because that's not what it's designed for. He said, “That's the only way we can do it,” and left.
A few days later, I got something from them asking how they did. I let them know how they did but didn't hear anything back. I got another survey and put it on again. This time, they called me and said, “You should never talk to people like that. Call us if you don't like what we do.” I said, “I called you. You did not." He said, “We're gonna make this good.” I told him they needed to send their best installer. They sent the other installer out. He took one look and said, “It's on upside down that’s why it didn’t work.” It's fixed now but it was not easy. Closet World fought with me the whole time. They acted like I was crazy and that's not how I like to work with people. I got a problem with the shade people too. They've been out here six times now but still haven't fixed it. I'm angry that I paid all that money and had to go through all that aggravation. Each time they said they were coming, they gave me a window, and I had to stay here.

I was remodeling my house and wanted to do some closet at the last minute. I knew that Closet World did exactly what they advertised, and I gave them a call. They were able to fit in my schedule and get what I needed at the time I needed it. They got it done in a rapid amount of time from the time I ordered to the time the closet was installed.
The designer was excellent. He came in and fulfilled what I needed. The installer was very thorough and explained things. If I had a question, he answered very politely. All the pieces were already pre-cut but he had to do a little cutting because the designer didn't account for the way my closet curves at one location. He did a walk-in closet which has six hanging areas and two areas with drawers. He got it done from start to finish in two and a half hours. It's not cheap though. You can go to Home Depot, buy the materials and do it if you got the time. It's almost 50% cheaper. But other than that, I would recommend Closet World to anyone. You get what you pay for. You get a designer and they install it.

Closet World did our master closet, and they were great. Initially, Paul (a rep) came out, measured and went through things. He had a lot of experience with doing closets and drew it all out for us. It's a small bedroom size walk-in closet with mostly shelves and hangers. We said yes, and it was a go. The installation was done in one day. It was one worker who was really efficient. He didn't leave a mess and was extra clean. We had a good experience, and our master closet looks nice, clean and professional.

Closet World installed two closets for me before and then I also had them install two other custom closets for me. The installation person came on time. My closet was installed. There was a little problem, and he gave us the options, and it was wonderful. My ceiling was kind of slanted and he was trying to decide if we should leave a space or two inches. He said that the two inches wouldn't be visible and he was right. Everything was fine. All of my other closets are performing fabulously. I will definitely use them again.

Renetta, our salesperson who came out to the house, did the drawing right there very quickly. Her measurements were on point and accurate once they did the install. She called before and after the install. Anytime my husband called her, she called back immediately. Closet World has a gem of an employee there. I've been in business all my life and was a vice president for a big company. I know how important good employees are. She is fabulous. We moved into a new house and we're having a lot of different things done. We had one company come out to give us a quote on our yard and there was a video they had us watch. It was too much pomp and circumstance. But Renetta was very natural and to the point. She gave us the best price. It wasn't staged or trying to sell us something.
We had garage cabinets done and we're very happy with the outcome. They were 24-foot long and 7-foot tall and the materials that were used were nice and thick. We also had an office done where we had shelving and drawers put in. At first, we didn't get the backing because we thought we didn't need it. We removed the pole for the closet ourselves. Once we did, we realized there was some work to be done. When they came out to install it, we changed our mind and told them we wanted the backing on the back of the closet to make it look finished. The two guys that installed it went and got the backing that day so they could finish the install that day as well. It was great service and I would use Closet World again. They do what they say they're gonna do. Their prices are competitive with other companies out there and the discount helps.

We redid the whole garage with the help of Closet World and I love them. My first designer was phenomenal but the second designer was not great. She liked to brag how long she had been there and that she was amazing. But I would not write her a recommendation. She was super abrupt and weird. I assumed that the same designer would come back because I thought it was a territory kind of thing, but this other lady came and she was a complainer. She was very condescending, and asked 100 times who my son was and if he had authority to make decisions. She was really bothered that I had to leave and I left my son in charge. But he was 25 and not a little child. She also made us carry her purse around, then she was starving and she was running late to another meeting. So, she had a lot of issues going on.
But it was no big deal because she only worked on an add-on. The first designer had done all the work and I just needed one cabinet added on because I didn't get enough. Other than that, Closet World's installers were great. We had an issue on the first install when one of the walls was not screwed in great. But they came right out and fixed it immediately.

I've enjoyed working with Closet World. I needed storage and when the lady came to do my estimate, she did a wonderful job and I got a great price. So it was worth it. I had them do a tile cabinet up in my bathroom, then I had them do storage cabinets out in my garage. And then, they're going to come back and do another tile cabinet for me downstairs. I was out last week on vacation, so now I'm waiting for a call from them about that.
I've been happy with what I've received so far. The installers put in the products nicely and nothing was scratched or looked bad. They were really easy to work with and the installation went really fast. I'm also excited for them to put in my cabinet downstairs. A lot of houses here in Temecula are not built with the right storage, so this worked out perfectly for me. If someone needs to put storage in, I would tell them that they should check out Closet World. I would tell them that I got a good product and it's very sturdy.

My husband and I had also used California Closets and we were told that the process with Closet World was a lot smoother. That was our experience. It was very efficient. Cheryl got out to our house that same week to schedule an appointment. She drew up the drawing in our house and our closets were done within two weeks. It was just one guy that came for the installation and he completed it within three hours. We just were doing our primary bedroom closet and, overall, it went very smoothly. He vacuumed and swept up any of the debris from the installation. We were very impressed. The quality so far has been good as well. It was a little more expensive than we anticipated. But the cost of everything is a bit higher right now. I would recommend Closet World to others,

The consultation with the rep from Closet World went well. I was able to get my vision across and she did a great job. There were some hiccups with the installation but the installers got it done. I understand that there need to be cuts made once they're on site. But the master closet was not centered with the room. So, it was off by a couple of inches and they were already gone by the time I noticed it. It's a walk-in closet and the lights are centered but the cabinets and the doors of the shelves are off. It goes from the ceiling to the ground and it bugs me to see that. We went through a $250,000 remodel and all those little things are significant. It's not in line with the quality of the rest of the build. But we got what we paid for.
We knew we weren't getting top-of-the-line and it was more about function. We had a desk built into the kids' closet and the pantry is exactly what I wanted. But the craftsmanship could have been a little bit better. We spent $15,000 and we didn't go with the best material but they should have paid attention to the quality. It seemed rushed and it was like that with a lot of the trades on our build. People wanna get in and get out. I wish they would have thought what they would do if this was their house. And if they would have the left side of the shoe rack four inches wider than the left side. But in general, Closet World was our best solution.

Closet World was affordable and they were the only one we contacted for our closet. The rep was very much willing to work with us when we did the design. The installers were good and the installation was done in half a day. The closets are great but the baseboard and the wall got damaged a little bit when they cut the shelves and rods that were previously installed.

Jordan, the rep from Closet World, made a design of what we can do. We talked about it and we hired him. There was no pressure. He was the only person who came to the house. Most of the others just did it over the phone and sent us some ideas. The installation was done quickly and we weren't in a hurry either. After the initial job the installers did, we liked it so much that we had them do some other work. We're waiting for some cabinets right now. We had them do a master closet, extra spare room closets and a laundry room. The workmanship and the quality of the material were good. I highly recommend Closet World to other people.

The designer was nice and very professional. Then, the installers came in and they were in and out. Yeah, they were good. Everything about the experience was great and everything looks wonderful. The Closet World designer who took measurements was good. She demonstrated everything that she needed to demonstrate and how the things were gonna be set up and all the things that were needed. I just didn't notice that I needed more shelves because I didn’t think it was gonna be that wide. Other than that, they did do a good job on installing it. It was fast, and everything looks good.

Closet World had good ideas, and they were very punctual and easy to work with. They organized our whole closet for us. The designer had ideas and gave us feedback on some of the things that we wanted and what she thought would work best in the closet. She was great. The installers worked great. They were very efficient and very clean. Everything was done in two hours, and it looked wonderful.

I learned more about Closet World's products by talking to the sales guy who came to my house. He started by doing the design, and then we were able to have a conversation about what changes I wanted or how I wanted it better or different. The installation was done really well, and the guys who showed up were super nice. The only problem I had afterward was they had left nails in my driveway. Other than that, I’d tell others that they should use Closet World. It was a really good experience.

I was putting in a Murphy wall bed and a matching work-business desk section across on the other side of the room. Closet World's sales rep was far more engaging than others and able to really put together what we wanted. Working with them wasn't really a high pressure thing and the installers were courteous of the home. They made sure that they protected everything and they were experienced. They made sure we understood everything and asked if there was anything else we needed. They finished in one day and the final outcome is exactly what we designed and ordered. Closet World was also accommodating in terms of the price and found ways to fit my budget.

We had garage cabinets put in and the designer for Closet World was with us every step of the way. But I seemed to vibe with more with the Closets by Design person. She saw my vision a little bit better and she was more professional. But they're all the same since they use the same people. Aside from that, the installation took three hours and it was wonderful.

I would recommend Closet World. The rep did very well. Her name was Karla, and I was impressed with her knowledge. She asked me a bunch of questions then designed the closet for me. The installation was quick considering it was just one guy that came and he did two closets. He did a good job.

Closet World installed a very nice closet. For the price we paid, it came out excellent and exactly what we expected. However, there was one thing wrong and that was frustrating. A little cover that goes underneath didn't get secured properly so it's loose. It pushed in on one side. We tried to call our original salesperson but she is no longer a salesperson so we'll have to get the contact. Other than that, the guy that came out and installed it was fantastic. He said it was his first week or two on the job but did a great job.

Installers did not come the first day. Took 2 more to do to 2 small closets. Cost $ 17,000 for a middle of the line solution. No glass or lights. I was told by our home contractor that he could have done the closets for $ 7,000. $10,000 difference. Find a local closet company. I got taken.

Closet World was a challenge. The only thing that was good was the sales girl that came out, but after that, it went downhill. I was replacing old sliding doors in two bedrooms. One bedroom was measured properly but the other one wasn't so they couldn’t install the door. I told them to take it back but they said I was gonna have to keep it. I said, “What do you mean I’m gonna have to keep it? It doesn't fit. You take it back with you.” They said, "If it gets damaged, we'll have to charge you.” I said, “It's your miscalculation. Take your door back with you. I'm not going to keep it here and wait for the other one.”
When they came with the second one, it was still not right. It didn't fit either. We went on our third attempt to measure properly and get the right door. On the third attempt, they finally got the right door and it went in okay. But they didn't vacuum up after the installation and wipe down the mirror. I had to do it myself. They have no pride of their product. I also almost called them yesterday because the door that went in easy-peasy is scraping now on the bottom when you open it. It makes a bad noise so it needs some adjustment. I put some K40 on it to loosen it up to see if that would work. I'm waiting to see if that does the trick. If not, I'll have them out.

Why are these reviews so high? Don't be fooled (like I was). This company is a scam. I paid about $5,000 for the service and material. I was deceived by the design of the closet; I wasn’t given any pictures per my request but was given a drawing instead. The drawing looked like a “U” shape. However, when installed, it was three Walmart-looking randomly placed bookcases. I called my design team about 5 times to ask what happened with the design and was refused a supervisor. I was told I had to pay to speak to anyone. They were good on their word; I never spoke with them.
I spoke with the installation team, who had to come out a total of 6 times for missing materials to my house; it took over 2-3 months to complete the installation that was designed for about 2 hours. No refunds, no discounts, no nothing for all the extra work and stress. Beware, once you give them your money, they will take it and run without any concerns for customer services. Don't do it.

It has been 1 year and 10 months since I paid $6,000 for 2 closet systems with Closet World. The salesperson who came out was amazing which is the only reason I am leaving 2 stars. The installers who installed did a decent job but one of the bullnose shelves we ordered was installed backwards or incorrectly and there was a small piece missing but overall it was a pretty good job so we didn't call or complain because it wasn't that big of a deal.
After about one year, the rods that our clothes were hanging on started falling off and all my clothes hanging on that rod would be on the floor. I noticed that the rods appeared to be cut too short which was why they kept falling off. There are 3-4 different rods that are short. We tried to move things around and tried to fix it ourselves with short-term remedies, however, our clothes kept ending up all over the floor! Since I have a seven-year product warranty I didn't rush to call when it first started falling. After it began to happen more frequently, I finally called 3 months ago but I wasn't able to talk with some and I left a message.
I called again today and asked if someone could come and fix it. I was able to speak with someone and I was told I would have to pay $130 for a work order and once they came out if they decided the rods were too short then they would be happy to fix it for free. I was told that the rods for fine for 2 years if there was some movement and settling in the ground it wasn't their fault. It was fine for a year but now I have a $6000 (and that was on sale) closet system that keeps failing on me.
I write this to the consumer to be aware that the Seven Year Warranty certificate they hand you to give you peace of mind is just trash. I guess I should have complained about every little thing and complained a lot sooner apparently. There should be some sort of asterisk that says you will have to pay out of pocket for a work order in order to have that warranty honored or it must be within some earlier time frame. False advertising, I do not recommend this company.

Closet World sent a designer to my house to do an appraisal. I had a competing company do the same thing and the designer from Closet World was better -- did the job while she was sitting in my house instead of me waiting for it, understood really easily what was gonna be done, was nice to work with, and offered me a better price.
I had a pretty simple installation. I was installing closets on both sides of my garage and it was a garage that was newly done, so it needed to be nice, but didn't need to be super fancy. I wanted somebody who could efficiently and effectively get it done in a really nice way without breaking the bank. I had proper closets installed with doors that are white. At their suggestion, which was a really good suggestion, they also put in hanging panels on my wall to hang my mops, brooms, tools, and things like that. They worked really quick and did the install in less than a day. My garage looks really super pro and it is the envy of all my neighbors when everybody walks by.

Closet World sent out a ton of direct mail promotions. So finally, I had to have my closet done. They had a promotion going where it was 40% off and then free installation. I had a bedroom walk-in closet system installed. The design consultant was very good. She certainly knew what she was doing. She came in, she looked at everything in my closet, and we talked about what I needed and what I wanted in organization. Then she sat with me. She designed it and then priced it out. We went back and forth on that and then agreed on a design and a price.
The young man who did the installation was unbelievable. He was so good. I was surprised that he was by himself. He said, "Oh, I do these all the time. So it's no problem." Within four and a half hours, he had the old closet shelves and rods out and the whole new thing installed. He did a beautiful job. He cleaned everything. He was terrific. In fact, when the manager called me, I said that they should give him a raise because they better keep this young man. Overall, Closet World gave me a good price and the closet looks great.

Closet World installed a full closet with shelving, hanging, a jewelry drawer and drawers. The designer must have been new so it was good dealing with her. We’ve had many closets in our other homes before and this wasn’t the best I’ve had. But it was okay and the price was about the same as before. It was reasonable. The guy who did the installation was amazing. He did it by himself and worked to make sure everything was just perfect. The closet wasn’t laid out exactly right and he had to custom fit it. He did an outstanding job.

The consultant came out to give me the free estimates and right on the spot, designed a plan. We looked at the closet together and then, she made a proposal in terms of what wall would have which aspects and how the drawers and shelves would be. She drew it all up so I could see what it looked like. And from there, I approved it. She got on the phone with her people at Closet World and they gave her a price. She helped negotiate a slightly lower price that was more within my budget and it was an even better rate than what she had originally proposed. We greenlit the whole thing and put the timetable together as to when they would be able to have it ready to come out and install.
The only hiccup was when the installers came, they forgot the two drawers. So they had to come back the following week to finish the installation. But other than that, it went well. I'm very happy with Closet World’s service in terms of planning and their installation service. Everybody was fantastic, very nice and agreeable people to work with. It was a great experience.

The designer was great. She seemed knowledgeable and pleasant. Although some of our measurements were off come the time for installation and the installers had to come back when it could have been done in one day, it all worked out. I had a garage done, as well as a laundry room closet and cupboards, and I love them.

When the 40% off sale came and free installation, that was when I decided. I'm happy with it. The Closet World rep understood what I was asking for. I asked for practical use of every possible space. She listened and that is what she gave me. Also, the two installers were nice and very good. They cleaned up everything. However, the office staff were rude.
When I had a problem and called, I was switched to three different offices. The designer did a pantry for me. I got back in the mail my two canceled checks for my pantry. I said, "Hey, I got back my two checks for my pantry. No explanation. No nothing. What's going on?" They said, "We don't have you down for a job for a pantry." I said, "I made my two down payments for it." They said, "We don't have it. We don't know anything about it. Your designer didn't give it to us." I said, "Okay. Fine. I'll never do business with you again." If you need it, go for it. But be prepared to deal with the office staff. They're short, and not helpful. Deal only with our designer. She's very nice and helpful. Closet World is hurting their designers and installers by being so rude.

I had Closet World come over and I felt comfortable enough with the gentleman that presented the information and provided the pricing that I didn't really need to do too much more shopping around. We had a 12-foot long by 2-foot-wide basic closet that we just wanted to put some shelving in and organize better because it was very simple. We just wanted to have more cubbies. A lot of it is for hanging shirts and dresses. The installation was straightforward. They set up the date. They got here on time. The gentleman was fast, professional, cleaned in the process, didn't leave any mess behind, and I felt like it all went very well. We are happy with the final product.
