I tried to call Closet World's sales representative back many times after she got the sale with me with my closet and she said, "Call the department. They're gonna help you." She sent me that phone number. That was fine. I called her again after the installation, and I wanted to ask her about the glass doors for the closet for my daughter but she never answered and would not call me back. But the installers were good. I haven't tried some material of the closet. And I don't know what type of material the rep sold me. But I told her I wanted the good material. It didn't matter if it was a bit more expensive. But I don't like it much. It feels like it's like a plastic. It doesn't feel like it's real wood.

We scheduled the appointment with Closet World and it was easy through online. Then their reps gave us a call and the cost was in our budget. They gave us a time and day, then they came and gave the drawings. We approved everything, then they gave a date for the installation. The installers came on time and did everything fine. Everything went well and we have no complaints. But for installation, there was only one person and it was so hectic for him. It would be good if they send two people together. Also, they told us that the installation should be under four hours. But since it was just one person, it took close to six hours.

I had a new unit installed. I had a great experience with the Closet World designer, but it went downhill from there with the installing situation. The designer was nice. She spent the whole day here. I had a bit of an issue with the installer who asked if I wanted him to haul my materials, and I told him no. Because I just moved into a brand-new home and I wanted to keep my shelving to reuse it in another part of the house. Unfortunately, he took it with him despite me telling him to leave my stuff here.
I found it unusual that he would ask, "For an extra $50, do you want us to haul?" I said, "No. All my stuff is new. I wanna keep it." And he took it. When I called and complained, his manager was rude and said, "Would have been taken anyway. It's just particle board." I said, "But it's my stuff. I told him not to." And he said, "But that's standard procedure." I said, "But I said not to take it. You should have requested that." That was back and forth.
He called me a couple times, made it right. But I still have yet to receive the credit of my account, which I was going to call today about. He said it should appear on the Wells Fargo credit card. I checked it yesterday but it has not been on there. I told the installation team, "Next time you have a 50% off, I wanna do my office. If you do a good job here, I definitely would be a repeat customer." But I don't know if I would do that now based on my experience.

My experience with Closet World was really good from start to finish. I have no complaints. We had a really pleasant experience with our designer, and the installers arrived on time. The whole experience was very smooth. They took measurements before the installation, and they confirmed it with me. They showed me the design, then they started their work and cleaned the closet after they finished. Everything was very clean and nice-looking. Everything was perfect.
Initially, I got one estimate from another company before Closet World. The other company made me wait over a week for the estimate and the design, then installation, they said, would take three days and wouldn't happen until a month later. With Closet World, I got the estimate on the same day on my first appointment, and then installation happened in two weeks and it only took five hours.

The first time, though Closet World attempted to come out, they were running late and I could not wait for them so I had to reschedule. The second time they came out, they were on time and it was great. The presentation was not pressuring. I was part of the design and they gave recommendations based upon my feedback. The installers were on time. They forgot a part, but they solved that problem the very next day.

Closet World came to my house and the person that I met with seemed very informative, talked about different options and worked out something that worked. It was straightforward. Closet World is a good company and I would definitely recommend them. They're, for the most part, reliable. We were waiting on some other things, but they were checking and responding very quickly.

The designer did a wonderful job about picking the color I needed for my closet. He picked out white wood and my house is Spanish style so he nailed it. He told me he's only been doing it for six months, but I thought they've been trained. I didn't know what I wanted and even told him I did not clean my closet, that I needed him to help me design what needed to be done. When he pulled up a piece of paper to design what needed to be done and not on a computer, my husband who used to be a drafter got turned off.
The installation people were on time. They did everything perfectly by the book. But when they showed me the layout, it was not the same layout that I saw. I'm not a big clothes person, but I have 15 inches worth of long dresses. The designer measured for it. But when they came and installed, they did not account for that so right now, I have my long dresses on a rack that only one-third of it is being used. Where I put my leggings or pants is great but I wasn't told where I could order more if I need them. I gotta get rid of clothes in order to put clothes. The designer told me I needed a hamper. Now, I've got a hamper, which I thought was bigger. But it's just a wood piece so I got to have a plastic hamper to move my clothes in so I could take it to a laundry room. My husband said, “Shouldn’t have there been something you could pull out and take to the laundry room?” However, they didn't tell us that.
Thank God the cabinets adjust and my husband knows how to move them up and down. But nothing was said to us. I didn't know that there was somewhere I could put my baseball hats. I did not know where to put my jewelry. I didn't know I could have put glass in my cabinet. With dark wood, you need glass so you could protect your purses. But I have no glass at all. I didn't know we could put lights. I also didn't know how much I would be spending on the closet until after they ordered everything, and I almost paid seven something thousand. The material is excellent but the closets are extremely small. I still had to buy baskets to put other stuff. I've been going to Amazon to buy other accessories to hang hats and mirrors. We have done a lot to make it look so much better. My husband had to do a lot of work after the fact. My brother paid about 5,000, and his was almost a whole bedroom-size closet with glass.
After the designer did the measurements, he was in a horrible motorcycle accident. I never saw him ever after. I would have figured that the designer would have been here on the day of installation. We could have made more modifications but there was no time to make modifications ‘cause he was ill and there was no backup person. A manager should have stepped up and got someone else to help us and answer questions we had before they did the work. But I've yet to get a call to see how did everything go. The designer also asked me if I could put a review about his service because that's how he gets paid and gasoline is very expensive driving from LA to San Diego. I did not know that Closet World's showroom and where they come from is LA. I thought they were based in San Diego. They didn't tell us that as well. I would not recommend Closet World.

I used Closet World when they had a 50% off deal going, and it was a good experience from the start to finish. A lady came out, helped my wife design the closet, and gave us advice on what we shouldn't order and what we can order to keep the cost. The installer did a good job as well. The closet is not the fanciest thing I've ever seen, but it's good.

The Closet World sales representative that worked with me was very accommodating and answered my questions. When I sent her emails, she got back to me right away. She came out at least three times. The installers were here for two days, did a good job and cleaned up after themselves. Everything turned out very well. It was what I wanted. What it was before was a disaster, and what it is now is organized and presentable. If someone were to come into my closet, I wouldn't be embarrassed, which I was before. I would highly recommend Closet World and I'm thankful that I went with them.

We purchased closets for our garage and the designer was nice, but I didn't get what I had specifically asked for. I have a bunch of tubs with different things in them and I gave them the tubs that I have. That's what I wanted to put into the cabinets. I should have been better at looking at her measurements to see if it matched up with the measurements of the cabinets. The cabinets are too wide and I was told later on after it was installed that I can only put 50 pounds per shelf. If they had made them shorter, I could have another cabinet fit in and put more of these tubs in the cabinet space. I also said I wanted the shelves white inside and outside and that's not what I got. The shell of the unit was all melamine white, but the shelves were raw. I had to pay another 1,400 to get the melamine on the shelving, too.
Also, when they came out to put the new shelves in, they forgot the extrusion piece, which is a metal piece that goes on the side of the shelf to give it more strength. They were gonna put it on both sides and it came out with one side so they had to come back out again. I still think their product is good, though. But you need to be very specific on exactly what you want and don't trust their measurement. Double check everything that they're doing.

Closet world has done a closet for me previously. I used them again, and it was a great experience. Everything was done professionally and on schedule. The designer was wonderful. The installer was fantastic. He cleaned up after himself, installed properly, even made adjustments because my sister is disabled and made suggestions like, "We need to lower this bar because if we leave it up that high, she won't be able to reach it." They were very professional except the one guy called in sick on the Friday they were supposed to do the original installation.

The whole thing with Closet World was a screwup. It took months to get the pantry in and it was a very simple job. We wanted five shelves in the pantry and we asked for the wood to be bullnose. They said it would be fine but there would be an extra charge. Then, when it came time to put it in, they said they don't do that. In the end, they installed the pantry and it's usable, but it took them trip after trip after trip because they kept making it wrong in terms of the measurements. I would never ever use them again or recommend them. And for the money we paid, all we got are five boards in there.

The two different people that I've dealt with as my salespeople have been more responsive to me and my questions, and the price was very inducive. We had our master closet done and one closet in each bedroom. The installers forgot some parts. They didn't put them in. Rogelio reordered them and Closet World sent somebody else out. But they didn't install the drawer dividers correctly. They put the little strips that hold the dividers in at the bottom of the drawer but they needed to be at the top. So, Rogelio came out and fixed it. The only other snafu was it took us three times to order additional shelves for our master closet. Overall, it was a very good job. We're satisfied with our closets.

When Closet World came and measured and gave us a quote, it was reasonable. They were having a sale. The closets they installed are fine. There are two little spots that need to be repainted, but I can do that myself.

I chose Closet World because of quality and price. The rep was pleasant to work with. She looked at our closet space, looked at what we needed, and customized it. Also, I loved our installer. He was kind, courteous, and efficient. He got it done. For the amount of money that we paid for the closet organization, the handles could be better looking. But I love our closet organization.

It was easy to use Closet World's website, and the rep was very nice and helpful. I had designed the closet another way, then she said, “Let's put the drawers over here.” It worked out good. The gentleman who did the installation was very nice as well. He explained things very well, and he really talked to me. It wasn't like he just came in. That was very nice. The only thing is Closet World keeps calling to get another closet done. I've gotten two, and I don't have any more closets to be done. Besides that, I love the product. It’s almost the same as another company's, but their estimate was more than the one from Closet World.

I called Closet World to schedule a consultation. And with the plans that they drew up and the pricing that they gave us, we were comfortable with the service. The installation was fine. It took a little longer than I expected. They only had one person do it. So, it took I think over five hours. Other than that, it was good. The closet is great.

Years ago, I had someone draw a plan for my closet. They came out and measured everything and gave me a plan. I did do the closet based on what their plan was, but I didn't get closet doors. So, most recently, I got closet doors that went along with my closet. I saw that Closet World had the doors I wanted. I had the doors and the tracks installed. They didn't have the tracks right. They gave me a single track rather than a triple track. I have three doors. They fixed it right away and came and installed it. So, it was fine. I'd recommend the company. The product is good, and the people who did the installations were very careful with my things and also did a good job in a reasonable amount of time.

I understand what Closet World is trying to do. "We have another special. We can come out. Do you have anything you want?" I said no. And they called me again, which was okay. But by that time, I was a little annoyed. It was a little pushy for me. Because if I say no, I mean no. I don't mean maybe. I realized that not everybody does that, but it was annoying. Other than that, the designer was very thorough and nice. She stayed an hour and a half. And not all of it was connected with talking about my small laundry room. The installers had everything they needed. Once I let them in, I didn't do anything else. There was a lot of hammering. And when they left it was like, "Whoa, that's cool." I'm very happy. It's not fancy, but it does what I need it to do. I took advantage of the Mother's Day special. I paid half of what I should have and installation was free. You should try Closet World.

Closet World's rep knew her product and she was very good. The shelving is difficult to move after they were put in because the hinges make it difficult to move in and out. They get in the way to try to move the shelving. They're close. If I wanted to move the shelves up and down or make larger or smaller spaces for the shelves, I couldn't move or take it out completely. We wanted to take one shelf out completely, but we couldn't because the hinges made it impossible to take the shelving out. Other than that, the closet is a very good product. It came out very well. We like the design, and I would recommend it to any friends.

In 2010, we had Closet World do a closet and then since then, we've had some other closets in the past six months that we have them put in new and then replace. The designer was really great. She was on time. She was communicating by text with us. She was very kind and had good ideas, and took her time to measure. As far as the install day, they called us up ahead of time. They set up a date with us. Then they called us up again like the day before. The installer gives the time that he's coming in, and then he comes at that time. They tell us, "I'm gonna be such and such time" as they arrive. They come in and they do their work. The quality of work is very good. I like that I can see all my clothes. I like my drawers. I'm happy with all my closets.

I'm happy with Closet World. I went with a basic shelving, three-drawer hanging section. It wasn't a very big closet. It wasn't anything fancy, but that's all we needed. The installation was simple. They came in. It took them an hour at the most, and everything went smooth. So far, so good. I think they’ll last long. If you need your space organized, Closet World is a good company to call.

Closet World was great. I couldn’t be happier. I had two bedroom closets installed and they're fantastic. Michelle was amazing. She was very professional. She had a great design. She was very easy to work with. We had some changes, and we had no issues whatsoever. The job was installed by a senior installer, so we had no issues there. A senior installer did come out as promised, and we're very happy with the service.

The process went smoothly and Closet World explained things the way how they create their closets. We measured the closets, looked at the design that would work, and the representative was very nice and knowledgeable. When we came and measured it, she showed me what they could do. For one of my closets, I would have wanted something a little different. But she gave me what we designed. The person that I dealt with did a good job. I got what I paid for. I had the area prepared for the installers when they came. They put everything together as it was designed. It took way less time than I thought it would. Everything seems to be okay and sturdy, and it was put together as it was designed.

I'm really happy with Closet World's whole process and the warranty that I came with. I'm so pleased that I chose them. It was a good experience all the way around since the beginning to the end. The designer was the best due to her knowledge and kindness. The guys who came to my house to install were very polite, professional, and efficient. Everything seems to be perfect. Cheaper price is better but according to the service that I got, it's a fair price.

The designer had a very good attitude. I was in a very short time crunch and I had talked to several closet companies who said that they would be six to eight weeks out and she got it done for me in three weeks. I was very happy with it. The installation day was okay. But the walls in the building are concrete and the installer didn't have a way to secure with fasteners on that concrete wall. He was able to glue it and it was very short. It wasn't a very long span. Other than that, it was fine. It was secured on one wall but not both walls, which wasn't that big of a deal. The final product is what I expected. Closet World is professional and the prices were fair. They were able to get it done and they did what they said they were gonna do.

I used Closet World sometime last year and their sale promotion was a big factor in that. Their designer was very good. They redesigned my two sliding closets and a smaller walk-in closet. So, they were helpful in giving feedback on putting in hanging rods and shelving. They were trying to optimize the space for storage as best as possible. The older cabinet contents were taken out. So, we started fresh. Their product was designed, and then manufactured to be able to serve the closet usage fine. I'm very satisfied. The product is good and it seems reasonably priced. Their promotions are worth using.
One thing that I didn't necessarily enjoy is after the first installation they did, which was about a year in between, they called back and did a hard sales job to do more work. And it's like every month, they would do that. And it was multiple people. Finally, I lost my patience at one point with somebody and I demanded to be taken off of their list. I expressed that they should really back off of that and not do that repeatedly.

The salesgirl was very informed and cordial. She did everything she could to work with me. There was only one guy for the installation and I was surprised. But he did a great job and was so nice. I liked him. I got two sliding mirror closet doors for two rooms, and they slide nicely. The price was a little bit high but I'm very happy with what I got.

I like the rep who came out. She wasn't pushy. I designed the closet and she had some good ideas. I told them exactly what I wanted and that's what they gave me. However, it was a fiasco when they installed it. I had asked for a drawer with a lock on it for my jewelry. They drilled the lock in the center of the drawer so you couldn't put a handle on it. They should have put it on the side. Then we ordered a hamper which the guy installed. When I went to open it, I couldn't get the basket out. I called Closet World, they got him, and he came back. He said it was the way it was supposed to be. I told him I have one like it in my other house and it's not how it works. He couldn't figure it out so he called his supervisor. The supervisor said, “Give them a bag to put in it.” That doesn't work because that's not what it's designed for. He said, “That's the only way we can do it,” and left.
A few days later, I got something from them asking how they did. I let them know how they did but didn't hear anything back. I got another survey and put it on again. This time, they called me and said, “You should never talk to people like that. Call us if you don't like what we do.” I said, “I called you. You did not." He said, “We're gonna make this good.” I told him they needed to send their best installer. They sent the other installer out. He took one look and said, “It's on upside down that’s why it didn’t work.” It's fixed now but it was not easy. Closet World fought with me the whole time. They acted like I was crazy and that's not how I like to work with people. I got a problem with the shade people too. They've been out here six times now but still haven't fixed it. I'm angry that I paid all that money and had to go through all that aggravation. Each time they said they were coming, they gave me a window, and I had to stay here.

I was remodeling my house and wanted to do some closet at the last minute. I knew that Closet World did exactly what they advertised, and I gave them a call. They were able to fit in my schedule and get what I needed at the time I needed it. They got it done in a rapid amount of time from the time I ordered to the time the closet was installed.
The designer was excellent. He came in and fulfilled what I needed. The installer was very thorough and explained things. If I had a question, he answered very politely. All the pieces were already pre-cut but he had to do a little cutting because the designer didn't account for the way my closet curves at one location. He did a walk-in closet which has six hanging areas and two areas with drawers. He got it done from start to finish in two and a half hours. It's not cheap though. You can go to Home Depot, buy the materials and do it if you got the time. It's almost 50% cheaper. But other than that, I would recommend Closet World to anyone. You get what you pay for. You get a designer and they install it.

Closet World did our master closet, and they were great. Initially, Paul (a rep) came out, measured and went through things. He had a lot of experience with doing closets and drew it all out for us. It's a small bedroom size walk-in closet with mostly shelves and hangers. We said yes, and it was a go. The installation was done in one day. It was one worker who was really efficient. He didn't leave a mess and was extra clean. We had a good experience, and our master closet looks nice, clean and professional.

Closet World installed two closets for me before and then I also had them install two other custom closets for me. The installation person came on time. My closet was installed. There was a little problem, and he gave us the options, and it was wonderful. My ceiling was kind of slanted and he was trying to decide if we should leave a space or two inches. He said that the two inches wouldn't be visible and he was right. Everything was fine. All of my other closets are performing fabulously. I will definitely use them again.

We redid the whole garage with the help of Closet World and I love them. My first designer was phenomenal but the second designer was not great. She liked to brag how long she had been there and that she was amazing. But I would not write her a recommendation. She was super abrupt and weird. I assumed that the same designer would come back because I thought it was a territory kind of thing, but this other lady came and she was a complainer. She was very condescending, and asked 100 times who my son was and if he had authority to make decisions. She was really bothered that I had to leave and I left my son in charge. But he was 25 and not a little child. She also made us carry her purse around, then she was starving and she was running late to another meeting. So, she had a lot of issues going on.
But it was no big deal because she only worked on an add-on. The first designer had done all the work and I just needed one cabinet added on because I didn't get enough. Other than that, Closet World's installers were great. We had an issue on the first install when one of the walls was not screwed in great. But they came right out and fixed it immediately.

I've enjoyed working with Closet World. I needed storage and when the lady came to do my estimate, she did a wonderful job and I got a great price. So it was worth it. I had them do a tile cabinet up in my bathroom, then I had them do storage cabinets out in my garage. And then, they're going to come back and do another tile cabinet for me downstairs. I was out last week on vacation, so now I'm waiting for a call from them about that.
I've been happy with what I've received so far. The installers put in the products nicely and nothing was scratched or looked bad. They were really easy to work with and the installation went really fast. I'm also excited for them to put in my cabinet downstairs. A lot of houses here in Temecula are not built with the right storage, so this worked out perfectly for me. If someone needs to put storage in, I would tell them that they should check out Closet World. I would tell them that I got a good product and it's very sturdy.

My husband and I had also used California Closets and we were told that the process with Closet World was a lot smoother. That was our experience. It was very efficient. Cheryl got out to our house that same week to schedule an appointment. She drew up the drawing in our house and our closets were done within two weeks. It was just one guy that came for the installation and he completed it within three hours. We just were doing our primary bedroom closet and, overall, it went very smoothly. He vacuumed and swept up any of the debris from the installation. We were very impressed. The quality so far has been good as well. It was a little more expensive than we anticipated. But the cost of everything is a bit higher right now. I would recommend Closet World to others,

The consultation with the rep from Closet World went well. I was able to get my vision across and she did a great job. There were some hiccups with the installation but the installers got it done. I understand that there need to be cuts made once they're on site. But the master closet was not centered with the room. So, it was off by a couple of inches and they were already gone by the time I noticed it. It's a walk-in closet and the lights are centered but the cabinets and the doors of the shelves are off. It goes from the ceiling to the ground and it bugs me to see that. We went through a $250,000 remodel and all those little things are significant. It's not in line with the quality of the rest of the build. But we got what we paid for.
We knew we weren't getting top-of-the-line and it was more about function. We had a desk built into the kids' closet and the pantry is exactly what I wanted. But the craftsmanship could have been a little bit better. We spent $15,000 and we didn't go with the best material but they should have paid attention to the quality. It seemed rushed and it was like that with a lot of the trades on our build. People wanna get in and get out. I wish they would have thought what they would do if this was their house. And if they would have the left side of the shoe rack four inches wider than the left side. But in general, Closet World was our best solution.

Closet World was affordable and they were the only one we contacted for our closet. The rep was very much willing to work with us when we did the design. The installers were good and the installation was done in half a day. The closets are great but the baseboard and the wall got damaged a little bit when they cut the shelves and rods that were previously installed.

Jordan, the rep from Closet World, made a design of what we can do. We talked about it and we hired him. There was no pressure. He was the only person who came to the house. Most of the others just did it over the phone and sent us some ideas. The installation was done quickly and we weren't in a hurry either. After the initial job the installers did, we liked it so much that we had them do some other work. We're waiting for some cabinets right now. We had them do a master closet, extra spare room closets and a laundry room. The workmanship and the quality of the material were good. I highly recommend Closet World to other people.

The designer was nice and very professional. Then, the installers came in and they were in and out. Yeah, they were good. Everything about the experience was great and everything looks wonderful. The Closet World designer who took measurements was good. She demonstrated everything that she needed to demonstrate and how the things were gonna be set up and all the things that were needed. I just didn't notice that I needed more shelves because I didn’t think it was gonna be that wide. Other than that, they did do a good job on installing it. It was fast, and everything looks good.

Closet World had good ideas, and they were very punctual and easy to work with. They organized our whole closet for us. The designer had ideas and gave us feedback on some of the things that we wanted and what she thought would work best in the closet. She was great. The installers worked great. I learned more about Closet World's products by talking to the sales guy who came to my house. He started by doing the design, and then we were able to have a conversation about what changes I wanted or how I wanted it better or different. The installation was done really well, and the guys who showed up were super nice. The only problem I had afterward was they had left nails in my driveway. Other than that, I’d tell others that they should use Closet World. It was a really good experience.

I was putting in a Murphy wall bed and a matching work-business desk section across on the other side of the room. Closet World's sales rep was far more engaging than others and able to really put together what we wanted. Working with them wasn't really a high pressure thing and the installers were courteous of the home. They made sure that they protected everything and they were experienced. They made sure we understood everything and asked if there was anything else we needed. They finished in one day and the final outcome is exactly what we designed and ordered. Closet World was also accommodating in terms of the price and found ways to fit my budget.

We had garage cabinets put in and the designer for Closet World was with us every step of the way. But I seemed to vibe with more with the Closets by Design person. She saw my vision a little bit better and she was more professional. But they're all the same since they use the same people. Aside from that, the installation took three hours and it was wonderful.

I would recommend Closet World. The rep did very well. Her name was Karla, and I was impressed with her knowledge. She asked me a bunch of questions then designed the closet for me. The installation was quick considering it was just one guy that came and he did two closets. He did a good job.

Closet World installed a very nice closet. For the price we paid, it came out excellent and exactly what we expected. However, there was one thing wrong and that was frustrating. A little cover that goes underneath didn't get secured properly so it's loose. It pushed in on one side. We tried to call our original salesperson but she is no longer a salesperson so we'll have to get the contact. Other than that, the guy that came out and installed it was fantastic. He said it was his first week or two on the job but did a great job.

Installers did not come the first day. Took 2 more to do to 2 small closets. Cost $ 17,000 for a middle of the line solution. No glass or lights. I was told by our home contractor that he could have done the closets for $ 7,000. $10,000 difference. Find a local closet company. I got taken.

Closet World was a challenge. The only thing that was good was the sales girl that came out, but after that, it went downhill. I was replacing old sliding doors in two bedrooms. One bedroom was measured properly but the other one wasn't so they couldn’t install the door. I told them to take it back but they said I was gonna have to keep it. I said, “What do you mean I’m gonna have to keep it? It doesn't fit. You take it back with you.” They said, "If it gets damaged, we'll have to charge you.” I said, “It's your miscalculation. Take your door back with you. I'm not going to keep it here and wait for the other one.”
When they came with the second one, it was still not right. It didn't fit either. We went on our third attempt to measure properly and get the right door. On the third attempt, they finally got the right door and it went in okay. But they didn't vacuum up after the installation and wipe down the mirror. I had to do it myself. They have no pride of their product. I also almost called them yesterday because the door that went in easy-peasy is scraping now on the bottom when you open it. It makes a bad noise so it needs some adjustment. I put some K40 on it to loosen it up to see if that would work. I'm waiting to see if that does the trick. If not, I'll have them out.

Why are these reviews so high? Don't be fooled (like I was). This company is a scam. I paid about $5,000 for the service and material. I was deceived by the design of the closet; I wasn’t given any pictures per my request but was given a drawing instead. The drawing looked like a “U” shape. However, when installed, it was three Walmart-looking randomly placed bookcases. I called my design team about 5 times to ask what happened with the design and was refused a supervisor. I was told I had to pay to speak to anyone. They were good on their word; I never spoke with them.
I spoke with the installation team, who had to come out a total of 6 times for missing materials to my house; it took over 2-3 months to complete the installation that was designed for about 2 hours. No refunds, no discounts, no nothing for all the extra work and stress. Beware, once you give them your money, they will take it and run without any concerns for customer services. Don't do it.

It has been 1 year and 10 months since I paid $6,000 for 2 closet systems with Closet World. The salesperson who came out was amazing which is the only reason I am leaving 2 stars. The installers who installed did a decent job but one of the bullnose shelves we ordered was installed backwards or incorrectly and there was a small piece missing but overall it was a pretty good job so we didn't call or complain because it wasn't that big of a deal.
After about one year, the rods that our clothes were hanging on started falling off and all my clothes hanging on that rod would be on the floor. I noticed that the rods appeared to be cut too short which was why they kept falling off. There are 3-4 different rods that are short. We tried to move things around and tried to fix it ourselves with short-term remedies, however, our clothes kept ending up all over the floor! Since I have a seven-year product warranty I didn't rush to call when it first started falling. After it began to happen more frequently, I finally called 3 months ago but I wasn't able to talk with some and I left a message.
I called again today and asked if someone could come and fix it. I was able to speak with someone and I was told I would have to pay $130 for a work order and once they came out if they decided the rods were too short then they would be happy to fix it for free. I was told that the rods for fine for 2 years if there was some movement and settling in the ground it wasn't their fault. It was fine for a year but now I have a $6000 (and that was on sale) closet system that keeps failing on me.
I write this to the consumer to be aware that the Seven Year Warranty certificate they hand you to give you peace of mind is just trash. I guess I should have complained about every little thing and complained a lot sooner apparently. There should be some sort of asterisk that says you will have to pay out of pocket for a work order in order to have that warranty honored or it must be within some earlier time frame. False advertising, I do not recommend this company.

Closet World sent a designer to my house to do an appraisal. I had a competing company do the same thing and the designer from Closet World was better -- did the job while she was sitting in my house instead of me waiting for it, understood really easily what was gonna be done, was nice to work with, and offered me a better price.
I had a pretty simple installation. I was installing closets on both sides of my garage and it was a garage that was newly done, so it needed to be nice, but didn't need to be super fancy. I wanted somebody who could efficiently and effectively get it done in a really nice way without breaking the bank. I had proper closets installed with doors that are white. At their suggestion, which was a really good suggestion, they also put in hanging panels on my wall to hang my mops, brooms, tools, and things like that. They worked really quick and did the install in less than a day. My garage looks really super pro and it is the envy of all my neighbors when everybody walks by.

Closet World sent out a ton of direct mail promotions. So finally, I had to have my closet done. They had a promotion going where it was 40% off and then free installation. I had a bedroom walk-in closet system installed. The design consultant was very good. She certainly knew what she was doing. She came in, she looked at everything in my closet, and we talked about what I needed and what I wanted in organization. Then she sat with me. She designed it and then priced it out. We went back and forth on that and then agreed on a design and a price.
The young man who did the installation was unbelievable. He was so good. I was surprised that he was by himself. He said, "Oh, I do these all the time. So it's no problem." Within four and a half hours, he had the old closet shelves and rods out and the whole new thing installed. He did a beautiful job. He cleaned everything. He was terrific. In fact, when the manager called me, I said that they should give him a raise because they better keep this young man. Overall, Closet World gave me a good price and the closet looks great.

Closet World installed a full closet with shelving, hanging, a jewelry drawer and drawers. The designer must have been new so it was good dealing with her. We’ve had many closets in our other homes before and this wasn’t the best I’ve had. But it was okay and the price was about the same as before. It was reasonable. The guy who did the installation was amazing. He did it by himself and worked to make sure everything was just perfect. The closet wasn’t laid out exactly right and he had to custom fit it. He did an outstanding job.

The consultant came out to give me the free estimates and right on the spot, designed a plan. We looked at the closet together and then, she made a proposal in terms of what wall would have which aspects and how the drawers and shelves would be. She drew it all up so I could see what it looked like. And from there, I approved it. She got on the phone with her people at Closet World and they gave her a price. She helped negotiate a slightly lower price that was more within my budget and it was an even better rate than what she had originally proposed. We greenlit the whole thing and put the timetable together as to when they would be able to have it ready to come out and install.
The only hiccup was when the installers came, they forgot the two drawers. So they had to come back the following week to finish the installation. But other than that, it went well. I'm very happy with Closet World’s service in terms of planning and their installation service. Everybody was fantastic, very nice and agreeable people to work with. It was a great experience.

The designer was great. She seemed knowledgeable and pleasant. Although some of our measurements were off come the time for installation and the installers had to come back when it could have been done in one day, it all worked out. I had a garage done, as well as a laundry room closet and cupboards, and I love them.

When the 40% off sale came and free installation, that was when I decided. I'm happy with it. The Closet World rep understood what I was asking for. I asked for practical use of every possible space. She listened and that is what she gave me. Also, the two installers were nice and very good. They cleaned up everything. However, the office staff were rude.
When I had a problem and called, I was switched to three different offices. The designer did a pantry for me. I got back in the mail my two canceled checks for my pantry. I said, "Hey, I got back my two checks for my pantry. No explanation. No nothing. What's going on?" They said, "We don't have you down for a job for a pantry." I said, "I made my two down payments for it." They said, "We don't have it. We don't know anything about it. Your designer didn't give it to us." I said, "Okay. Fine. I'll never do business with you again." If you need it, go for it. But be prepared to deal with the office staff. They're short, and not helpful. Deal only with our designer. She's very nice and helpful. Closet World is hurting their designers and installers by being so rude.

I had Closet World come over and I felt comfortable enough with the gentleman that presented the information and provided the pricing that I didn't really need to do too much more shopping around. We had a 12-foot long by 2-foot-wide basic closet that we just wanted to put some shelving in and organize better because it was very simple. We just wanted to have more cubbies. A lot of it is for hanging shirts and dresses. The installation was straightforward. They set up the date. They got here on time. The gentleman was fast, professional, cleaned in the process, didn't leave any mess behind, and I felt like it all went very well. We are happy with the final product.

I bought a Murphy bed from Closet World and it was what I wanted. I paid a little more than I wanted to but the product was good. You get what you pay for. People will be happy with it. The installation was fast and easy. The quality of work was excellent.

Closet World gave me a bid that seemed like they knew more about what they were doing than the other place that had given me a bid. They measured a wall and told me something wouldn't fit where the other one was telling me it would fit. The rep I worked with was also friendly and knowledgeable. However, the installers mis-measured one thing so they had to come back and redo one part of it. But other than that, it was good.

I scheduled a free appointment for Closet World to go look and I didn't have any intention on actually working with them and getting a closet. I was leaning towards just doing the closet myself. But the person who came to my house was really nice, knew the product really well, and had a great presentation. She made it make sense why I should work with them. Plus, the pricing was really good.
So, I got the closets with the cherry wood color, which is really nice, and the installation took one day. I have double hang sections on all of my closets and they also installed some drawers in there for me. So they really helped me optimize how much space I have and the quality is good. But I was very displeased that they left all the holes in my walls from removing my old closet. I was told that those holes would at least be filled but they were not covered. Other than that, I brought the sales rep to my job, because I'm in sales, and I referred her to 15 people at my job. I would refer people to work with not just Closet World, but more so the person I worked with because the reality is, I was in the market for a closet and I was going to buy a closet no matter what. But I found somebody who I was willing and comfortable to do business with.

I had a small three-door closet with four drawers installed by Closet World. The rep was very efficient and offered some options. And it was an easy experience. I had a closet existing in its place that was part of the demo. The demolition came here, they demoed it and determined that they couldn't install right away. Because there were some issues with the way the tile was under the existing one that needed to be propped up.
The new one needed to be propped up. So, they left the material here until I was able to clean and paint and get material to prop it up. And they came back after that was done. It looks good. It's expensive, but they're great. The designer called back a couple of times to ask about how things are going. And she helped with getting the installers back out here.

Closet World did a great job. The price was fair. I was mainly just going to get a quote. And I had a bathroom remodel. I had a very small closet. I needed better organization. But the way that the person that I worked with came up with some ideas with my input, it's modular, so I could change the configuration if I decide to add some other things or change how things are hanging, racks, or for the shoes, folded things. I was ready to buy something like that.
The rep was very nice, took the measurements and came up with a couple of ideas. I didn't like one of them. There was some wasted space. So, she was open to my idea and reworked everything. I have two 6-foot walls and one that's 5 feet. That's the back wall. So, everything’s narrow. I wanted to make use of the space under the window of the 5-foot space. She hadn't put anything in there. So, we revamped things. And I was able to make use of that space.
The installer was just one guy, but he was amazing. It was three weeks that he brought the product and installed it. And it took him three hours because he had to install all the rail because the supports go into the floor. It's not freestanding. And he had to remove the baseboards that were in the closet, install all the support, and put in all of the hanging rods and the various shelves that I ordered. He vacuumed up everything.
I had gone to Home Depot and had them cut some extra shelves for me. They're 10 x 12 that I needed. So, I made the space, the heights between the different shelves, smaller. I cut it down and had some that were 8 inches for the flat shoes. So, I reconfigured and added more shelves. Their bracket supports are a pin type of thing. You can't buy them online. So, I called. Closet World said, “How many do you need?” And they happened to be in Vista. I'm in Cardiff. So, it was only eight miles away. And they gave me a bag for free of the pins because they're not available. Everything else is more of a 5-millimeter or a 3-millimeter. They seem to skip a 4-millimeter. And the 4-millimeter is what I needed. I was very happy.

They were very responsive. There was one thing that was a little bit off, and they made it right, so I wasn't worried about it. They did a very nice job. I was very happy. Closet World has really good products and good design ideas. The designer was great. I really liked the product. I really should have thought about more of where I was putting things. They did the installation quickly. The only thing that I thought would have been neat is if we had a little bit of a discount back just because we ended up getting the closet ourselves instead of them doing it. I didn't even realize we'd have the time to do it. But when we did it, it was already after they said, "We're gonna place orders for the closet stuff." So, it didn't even get there yet, but we were able to do it and prep it.

The gal who came out was fabulous. I told her what we wanted and that's exactly what she did. She took measurements, sat down, went through the different options and made a sketch of what everything would look like, blueprint-wise. She had samples and everything with her as well. I could see and feel what the product looked and felt like so I could make the best decision. It was a little unusual because instead of having just open, huge, deep shelves top to bottom like a whole closet would, it's got upper and lower cabinets and an actual working counter surface. Sliding doors are a little difficult and that's where we keep all of our cleaning solutions and things like that. But this way, it's got cabinet doors and they used our hardware that we had that matches other things in the house. Being able to put childproof locks on is gonna be a cinch.
The installation went well and the installers showed up on time. The only downside was that we had to keep the front door open so they could get in and out and it made the house cold. Otherwise, they did a great job. There was a little bit of a hiccup trying to get the cabinet in. When Closet World built it, they didn't realize that to get it through the frame, it would have to get finagled in and be slightly smaller than what they had anticipated. So they ended up having to do some work here that they weren't anticipating and it took a little bit longer than they had planned. But they got the job done and it looks perfect. You couldn't even tell that they had done additional work to it. The price came in under what we had anticipated to spend. So, we were quite happy.

I really like their salespeople. Closet World had a good discount. I tried another competitor and they were eight weeks out. I called Closet World, checked with them, and they could install within two weeks. I went with them and I had all custom closets done and garage shelving. The installers were awesome, knowledgeable, quick, and efficient. I love the product. It's high quality.

The Closet World rep who came out was very efficient. She knew exactly what I wanted. She did not beat around the bush. A lot of other companies that came out to give me a quote were more interested in telling me their life story and less about their product. And she was listening to me. She got me to the right price. Price is important and quality and she did everything right there as far as getting me a quote. We set up everything. I purchased an L-shaped cabinet storage and it was good quality. The installers that came in were very cordial. I tried to chitchat sometimes. They were nice but they said, "We gotta really get to work." They got things done and there were no issues with the installation. Everything was clean.

My experience with Closet World started out well. The reps were knowledgeable about what they were doing. But it turned out they had no idea what they were doing. They need to be retrained. They took all the wrong measurements. They brought my stuff out. I had to wait another extra week for them to go back and rebuild my closet. When I first signed up initially, it was two weeks, before it was gonna be installed. From that two weeks when the day came to be installed and when they came out and he had all the wrong stuff, he started to tear my stuff down and get ready to put it up and noticed that the sizes weren't matching up. They had to stop and it took another week after that. It took a month in total.
I also thought it was better quality than what it was. It looked like IKEA furniture, just something that came out of a box. It looks better on display that they bring to you and the other issue was that when they finished and completed, they took off the molding of my wall and didn't put it back on, because they threw it away with their scraps. I was very unsatisfied and I wouldn't recommend them.

Angela, the rep, came and showed me everything. Another company explained too but it was a little bit higher quote and Angela was more professional so she made me pick a decision. Also, it was a reasonable price. The installers did a good, clean and perfect installation. The closets were very clean and it was more than what I expected. I like it. I was very pleased with Crystal. She really explained to me how everything would go. She even was great with getting me something within my price range. I will definitely be getting my closet built in the near future by Closet World. I have the drawing plans. There are 2 that Crystal have drawn up for me. I am hoping to call her back sometime in the Fall.

Closet World had a closet done in a bedroom. It was very nice, and they gave a really good price. So, I thought it would be nice to have one in the garage because Linda wanted a countertop out there for folding clothes rather than bringing them in the house. The fellow that came here was very nice and very accurate. As far as the price, even though he said it was half price, it did seem a little high to me, which you couldn't help. They have to charge what they have to charge. Two very nice fellows came out to install. The product looks really nice in the garage. It's exactly what I had hoped it would look like. It's wonderful.
There was a scratch in the countertop, but it was very small. Then a week later, the caulking that filled up the hole between the lower cabinets, and the backing that went up from the lower cabinet to the top along a side dried up and came loose. There were some screws left over, too. Two of them were in the driveway. I picked them all up but if I had missed one, it might have been a problem. I called and quickly, they came out and put some new caulking in there. A different fellow came and he was very nice, too. All the people that I came in contact with were very nice.
The doors open and close very nice. The shelves do exactly what I wanted them to. Linda's happy with it. The guy who came out asked me to put the caulking in the little spot where the other caulking had dried up. He also looked at that little scratch and he said, "yeah, I can feel that." So, that's fixed and everything is good. Overall, they're good quality. Closet World's customer service is good. I can't expect somebody to come out the day after I call them but they did come out in a timely manner, and did appropriate work on the callback.

The rep with Closet World listened. I told her what I wanted which was something that was nice but not the most expensive and she got it. She worked with me, drew out what I needed, and it was within my budget. I had two closets done and they worked quickly and professionally. I was very happy with Closet World and would use them again.

We had three closets done, one walk-in and two small wall closets that we had Closet World customize very easily. The salesperson was very knowledgeable and helped us get the most out of what we needed. We got the basic whites with the dresser and a lot of shelves and hanging space. We also added a custom jewelry drawer. It's a very high-quality product. We're satisfied with the size of everything and how little space it took up in the closet, ‘cause it's not that thick. There's no backer so it worked out well. We got it done quickly and got 40% off and free delivery and installation. Mom is very happy. She loves her closet. She's always dreamed of having a closet done professionally so it was her dream come true.

Closet World's sales rep was very nice. She knew exactly what I wanted and listened, which made me feel like I wouldn't have a problem because somebody listened to me. She also did exactly what I asked for. But she was a little reserved and I didn't feel so comfortable that I would call her about any issue. I paid 50% upfront and when the guy showed up for the installation, he wanted to charge my debit card the remaining 50%. But I wanted to pay at the end of the installation. I've already done the due diligence of paying half of the cost upfront and waited two weeks for them to bring the materials. The salesperson also never told me that I was going to make that payment before the installer even walked in the door.
The installer was very young and timid. He couldn't even look me in the eyes and he didn't know how to talk to people. He didn't speak English great, so maybe that was part of it. He ran out to the car to call his manager then the manager called me. He said that that was how they did it. But I used Closet World before and I told him that they didn't do it like that before. So, I wasn't going to it. Aside from that, the installer was so cared and he wouldn't even come back in because he said I yelled at him. But I didn't yell at him. I was yelling at the company. In the end, I didn't want to have to pay by check, but we gave him a check and that was how we got through that. It left a little bit of a sour taste in my mouth and I don't know if I'd call them again because of it. I was a repeat customer and I spent 5,000 the first time, while this was for a little tiny closet that cost $1,100. It was insulting and unprofessional.
I also had to coax the installer to come in and install the closet. They need a stronger installer to not run out there and cry to his manager like that. When I had the manager on the phone, I went out to talk to him in front of the installer and I asked why was he telling the manager that I yelled at him because I didn't. I talked to both of them in the same way about this whole thing. Other than that, the installer did a great job and I thanked him.

I told the guy what I wanted and then, he did the drawings. It looked good and that was how we did it. There are cabinets in the garage and drawers for the workbench. Then in the bedroom, there are drawers and shelves. In my closet, there are drawers, shelves and a tall hanging rack for my clothes. It was done well. I'd highly recommend Closet World.

I just had my closet redone so Closet World’s people broke down what was existing, which wasn't much of anything. Then, they just put in shelving. I have more compartments to store things in so they built it up too from floor to ceiling so I have room for everything and I can see everything. It's basic. Two people arrived at about 9:00, set up a little bit and got to work. They were out of there by about noon. Everything looks solid, smooth and symmetrical. So, I'm happy with it.
I showed friends and family the before and after, and they asked me how seamless the process was. I said it was seamless and I didn't have any issues. I set up the initial free assessment, where Closet World’s reps came in, measured it, and then helped me draw a design. Then, they scheduled the payments and the time for the people to come and install it, which didn't take long at all. From the time they got here to the time they left, it was a total of three hours. So, I still had the rest of my day to do everything that I had to do. It kinda worked itself out that they came in the morning and they were able to work with me in changing the time so I appreciated that.

If I could give zero stars I would. We had a closet planned for install and the company called me offering me a discount and free installation for a second closet. When the designer came out, I asked her if I could change the color for the first closet. She talked to a manager and it was confirmed that they could change it. So we put a deposit down for two more closets. The next day, the designer calls me and says I will need to pay $200 more for the color change. I agreed. The next day, I get a call from her saying, "Sorry your order was cut, we can't change the color."
At this point, I was so disappointed in the service, and that I had been told TWICE that they could do the change, so I canceled the two closets and was stuck with the closet in the color I didn't like. I informed the sales manager that I still wanted the scheduled installation date, and followed instructions on how to cancel the other order. I send an email listing the order number and the reason for cancellation. I do not get a response, so I emailed again, trying to confirm that they received my cancellation. The night before the install, I call to find out why I haven't received a time window, and they told me that my order was in pending.
When I email the sales manager, she tried to changed the facts saying that I kept emailing to cancel the first order, even after I sent an email showing proof. I took the day off of work to have this installation done, and they have made no accommodations to make sure this is done on the scheduled date, only that they will just reschedule with installation. Sales Manager- Cristina **. Designer- Rosemary (was willing to say anything to me to close the deal).

The salesperson came out, drew everything and took hours and hours. But we set everything up. I chose to do some financing for the closets and Closet World assisted with that. Then, they did some follow-up. I had to make a few phone calls and sort out the confirmation of when they would be there to install. The installers did a very nice job. They were there all day and at the end of the job, they didn't have the materials with them to finish caulking of some gutters. I spent almost $10,000 and they said I could just go to the store and get the colored caulking and do it, which irritated me. But other than that, everything was acceptable. Overall, the workmanship was very good.

We remodeled our home and we never got closet doors. I had friends coming to stay overnight and we decided it was time to get that done. So, I called Closet World and they gave me a good price and we went with that. We got three closet doors and the garage cabinets will be going in later this month. The closet doors are awesome. We love them. They've got mirrors on them. What we removed from the home was from 1978 and they were the basic standard slap-in closet doors. The ones we got now fit in perfectly with our new home decor.
The Closet World designer was awesome. She was the one that did my design for the cabinets for my garage, which is a pending project that will begin on the 30th of April. When we called back about getting closet doors, we requested her to come over and she did everything perfectly for us. She told us which ones we had available to us. Installation was perfect. We've asked that the kid that came over to do our closet doors be part of the install team for our cabinets because we were very pleased with his service. One of the things that impressed us the most is the room was left cleaner than it was when he got there.
The only thing is I've gotten two phone calls from the same person from Closet World trying to offer me discounts on future projects. I was like, "You know what? You guys already put in doors for me, I got an $8,000 cabinet project coming at the end of the month, and we just remodeled our home. So there's really nothing more that we need from Closet World." Their marketing people may be disconnected from the install people. So, I just thought that was interesting. It wasn't a bother. As far as price, it was a little pricey, but we wanted quality and that's what we got.

My experience with Closet World was good. It was fast and I love it. The rep showed me what was gonna happen. It came out when she said and it looks like what she said. There's one bar that they didn't put in there that could have been put up there. But I'll just put one in myself. The installer was great. I just wish they'd have been more explicit with the back of the closet. Because when they pulled out the shelf that was already there, it left the markings that they were there. And I gotta pay extra for the backing. But that's okay.

We had four closets done by Closet World. And previous to that, we had a primary closet done, which was good. We worked with Andrea and she was very professional and pleasant. The installation was great. The two guys were very professional and did the work, cleaned up after themselves quite thoroughly. It was good. I would use them again.

Closet World provided a sketch. They provided some immediate feedback for me. They had what we thought they could provide for us. And indeed, they could. My wife and her friend designed it. We had lots of input. We enjoyed it because we got a custom work as a result. The warehouse prefabbed it. The guy came over in a van and put it together as the design indicated, and it went smoothly. They used some nice trim pieces and we're happy with the result. We had a bit of a communication problem. Once we were able to communicate, they communicated well. From the time we ordered it to where the time it went in five weeks. Bring your wallet, but Closet World is good. I would deal with them again.

I liked Closet World's price and that they were willing to work with us. We had shelving units, a long hanging unit, and three units that had double hanging space. We also did a section that has shelving and five drawers. The installation was done smoothly and fast. I would have made the closet bigger. Also, it would have been better if I changed the location where I put the shelves and moved the part down where I hang the clothes and put the shelves in the corner. But that's on me because I didn't know.

Their price point and timeline were reasonable. Their presentation was also professional. It was good. The sales rep had a book. She didn't have product samples, which would have benefited them. But I had seen their product previously. However, the person that they sent to install was not able to communicate very well. They also didn't send him with all of the right products. The installer put the wrong doors in and didn't bring the right shelves. And that is frustrating as I'm still waiting for the right products.

I had cabinets installed on one wall of the garage, a work bench area, an office desk area and some bookshelves in my home office. The Closet World designer came over and spent a better part of an afternoon helping to design and order it. It was straightforward. He was very nice and knowledgeable and helped us to cut some costs at important places. The installation was done on two different days because they wrote it up as two different installations. There was one guy on one day, and then the next day it was two other guys. They did a great job. Closet World was a little bit expensive but the quality was good. So, I could balance that out. It was not a good financial deal but I like the product. So, that turned out to be okay. It was ultimately worth it but not a great bargain.

Dealing with the designer went very well. I thought it was gonna be a quick consult but she was here for probably about three hours because she had to drop the designs on site. The installers didn’t have to do any demo because I had a friend who was a contractor. I had her come in and demo, and then patched and painted so that when the installers came and installed, it was nice and pretty. There was only one that I didn't do that on and it was gonna be a storage closet anyway. So I didn't bother. But that was a simple demo because it had a built-in wire system in there that they just had to take out.
In addition to the closets, I had the installers build a dresser system. There were two closets in one of the bedrooms upstairs and in-between the closets there was a little cabinet that was there, initially. So I had the cabinet removed and everything prepped so that they could build a dresser system in-between. The only hiccup was they didn't include a top portion. It wasn't built exactly to the space. So there was some exposed wood on each side and it needed a beauty piece on top of it to cover the space entirely. So when they left, on each side of that dresser was the exposed wood that you could see. On site, they had to have somebody contact me and I had to place an order for that additional piece because it wasn't included in the original estimate.
The closet looked like the sample that she brought with her the day of. I had a lot of options but I just went with the white wood because it was just interior and they were basic closets. The price was fair. Closet World was the first company I called and coincidentally, they were running a special, so I got 50% off of the price for the job. So that made the buying decision easy.

Closet World did my garage cabinets and all my closets. They did a great job, so when I was doing my mother's garage, I chose them again. They came out and did an estimate. And it was way lower than if I had bought them at Lowe's and put them in myself. When the guys came in for the installation, they were there for a couple of hours. They told me to put everything in the middle of the garage, to give them 6 feet on each side, and they backed their truck in. They laid out everything meticulously. I'm a car builder and I was there watching. They explained everything, hung the cabinets, and told me what the capacities were. The guys left everything clean and swept up. They came out beautiful. I worked in the movies and it looked like a movie set. It looks almost fake. The guys were also great and polite. I recommend them to everybody since then because they were efficient..

I did garage cabinets with Closet World. I have shelving and the cabinets have doors in front of them. They look very nice. Also, the designer was great.

Go with Closet World. It's a good product and good service. The presentation was thorough, and it was understandable. I liked the rep's knowledge and ideas. The installation went fine. The installer had to come back a second time to make an adjustment on the doors. After that, everything went fine.

I had a basic closet done in one of the bedrooms and the experience was good. We needed basic shelving unit and it worked well. It was three weeks between the order and the installation and everything went smoothly.

The installation was a five-day process and one guy, after the first day, called off and never came back. It took a lot longer because one guy came by himself the second day and it was too much. Then they got people who didn't know what they were doing that put the wrong handles on. The guy they had tearing out the old closet did a lousy job. But other than that, everything was flawless. The design had to work for my space and they respected that. The designer was fabulous. Closet World is the best closet installer around. I've used other people and not been very happy.

We contacted two companies that were offering specials and ended up with Closet World for that reason and a couple others. Their price was competitive and acceptable, and the presentation was very good. The rep was knowledgeable, and we were impressed with how easily she could discuss our options with us. She knew what she was talking about. She wasn't reading from a script, and she accepted the kinds of limitations we had and worked around them. It was a very positive experience. The installation went very well too. However, our understanding was that the rods could be interchangeable, but it didn't necessarily turn out that way because of the way the sections were configured. The installer had to cut a rod down. They're working on it for us, however. So we try to get it resolved so that we could change things a bit. It's pending, and it has taken a while for us to hear back.

The designer is a wonderful woman. She went through everything, explained to me and showed me how things are gonna be. Installation was clean and perfect. The installers put everything together, and I didn't expect that it was gonna be so quick. I wish they can do a little touch of paint in the other areas inside to match, but other than that, I really like what they did to the closet. It's in my daughter's bedroom. It's really good quality, and I like it. I still have some things to be done and when I'm ready, I'm gonna call Closet World back.

We purchased a Murphy type bed from Closet World, and the designer was very good. She did a drawing of the wall in the room that we wanted to put this bed on, mounted to, and she was very thorough with the dimensions and spent a lot of time with us designing what we wanted, many different materials, colors and cabinetry alongside the bed. It's an involved process. The price was also very competitive, and installation took three hours. It went very well.

The person who came out to install it was efficient, polite, and clean. It was within budget. It was a great experience. If I needed another closet done, I would use them again. I had closet organizers put in by Closet World. I've used them in the past at my previous residence. Recently, I had two banks of drawers, some hanging, and some shoe area done. The designer was awesome. We liked her a lot. The installers showed up on time. I showed them where the area was. They did a demo. They did a really good and neat job with the demo. They didn't destroy a lot of the drywall. They put everything out where I told them to, all the shelving. The only thing that I was disappointed about was they didn't haul it away and I was never told that they weren't going to haul it away. But the quality of work that was done was good.

The Closet World sales representative was nice and explained everything well, and she did a good presentation. We had a good size just for clothing, drawers and accessory drawers. I had the doors put in the cabinet for my purses. I had a baseboard and stuff put in. We did the L shape for my shoes, and I got plenty of shoe space, closet space, and drawers for the things that I wanted in there. It turned out well. There was some mix-up with the product. Some of the products should have been done a certain way and it wasn't done. They weren't gonna be able to install my product, but they figured out a way to still use what they had and still gave me what I needed and wanted.

Closet World's products are nice. But something was off about the communication between the designer and the headquarters or sales and planning. When the closet finally got installed, the installers were very nice and clean. They had to come out three times out and in total, the installation took 10 hours. But wouldn't have been like that if they got it done the first time correctly.
The first time they came out, the design had no doors, but their designer told me it would have doors. Then, the design had lines in it that I thought were the lining of the cabinets that were to leave a TV space. We all knew there was supposed to be a TV space there and it said TV space. But the second time that the reps came out, they didn't allow for the TV space. So, it took a lot of people to make a decision and get something done. When I had those issues, it took three times to get things right, which wasted my time and took a lot of phone calls. But they worked with me and got things right. So, it wasn't the smoothest process but everybody was very nice and professional.

We had Closet World years ago in our master room closet. Our kids are now older and they’ve moved out but I have one that’s still there. My other daughter has a condo and I told her to go with Closet World. And she did, which was about four months before we did ours. We enjoyed it and we liked it. The reps did a great job all the way from coming to do the measurements. We financed it. The zero interest was very appealing and we did it. We had two walk-in closets installed and got the 50% off, which is wonderful. One closet would have probably run close to about $5,800 and the other one would have run probably closer to $2,700. We just had that one straight away and had some dividers put in. So, I can do one for a linen closet and I could put all of our comforters. It looks nice and neat.
Being in California, you don't think we need a lot of coats but we wear a lot of jackets when it gets cool. So, we had that put in and then also for other little things that we wanted. The other closet is for one of my daughter's bedrooms. She had the drawers put in and had the area for her dresses and long gowns. It has a double rack so she could use it for jackets, suits, blouses and slacks. She had other areas too where she could just put little things in and an area where she could put shoes in. The dimensions would be about 5 x 5 for one of them and the other one was 5 x 8 feet.
We liked the product and the people were very professional and courteous. They asked and made sure it was what we wanted, which says a lot about customer service because there are a lot of people who don't wanna do that. They’re just there to do the job. But the guy who did the installation was fabulous. He knocked it out within a matter of time. He had to do the customization because he had to make sure that everything was just right and did an excellent job. He would swear up and down it was his own business, the way that he was taking care of everything. My husband said he cleaned up very well.
Even though the closets were smaller compared to a whole-size room, it didn't matter. This was just as well. It was done perfectly so I'm happy with it. We’ve been referring Closet World to other people because they come and see and ask. We didn't have a lot of closet space but after we did the closet, we were able to organize. They would say we have a lot of clothes and I would say we don't have a lot of closet space, but Closet World is who we went with.

They redid the closet. They also put shelves and they put hanging stuff to hang. One person did it and he ended up having to come back a second day to finish. I like that it looks clean and organized.

I needed two cabinets, and the sales gal was good and nice. I needed something done quickly, and Closet World did a good job. The quality is fair as well. However, at 50% off, the two cabinets would have been 10 grand and they weren't that big of a deal. It was way overpriced and I could never see people could be paying the full amount. Closet World is spending all their money on marketing, so they have to price everything up high. I don't think I'd recommend them seeing as they're gonna have to stay with their model of spending a lot of money on marketing.
I ended up running into a closet guy after the fact and he said, "Oh, my God, what you had done should've been 1,200 bucks tops." If Closet World spends $100,000 in marketing and they get 100 jobs, they have to add $1,000 to each job just to continue the marketing. That's the way it is. They've got to spend less money on marketing, but then the marketing was how they got me. I didn't find that guy. So it's all good.

Closet World had a discount ad going. They did what they said and did it when they said they would do it. Also, the designer was friendly. She did not try to push things that I didn't want. Also, she didn't waste my time or hers. She designed what I wanted, not something that she wanted to sell me. I had emptied the closet, the installers came in, installed everything within three to four hours. I came home, it was done, and it was the way they told me it would be. It was clean and the price seemed reasonable.

Closet World said they had that 50% off, and I wanted to see what that 50% off looked like. It seemed more affordable for me. I just ordered one closet, and they're doing two more today. I like it. The design consultant was the best. A young, little chick. Very nice. She explained the process. Asked me, "Was this good? Was I happy with this? Did I need to change anything?" So, she was good.
The gentleman came in, and it was raining, so I was, “Oh God, this is gonna be a mess.” He signed the paperwork. We finished the payment. He got paper and put it down from the front door to my living room, through my hallway to my bedroom, and got to work. He was very efficient, came back and forth, never took a break. Didn't leave a mess. Described everything he would do. Even did a bit of change-up because of how the sliding glass doors were slid over a bit so I could open the drawer space without bumping into the closet. And even left me some other brackets if I wanted to move my hanging space differently. I love it. It's very neat. I have hanger space, shelving, and drawer space, which is very helpful for me. I have a reach-in closet, so it allowed me to be more organized. I've already recommended Closet World to two of my friends.

My wife and the designer hit it off really good. She understood really good what she was trying to accomplish. When she got done with the drawing, it met her expectations. When the installer came in, she talked to him for a few minutes, and he went to work. He kept us informed what he was doing and it came out real good. Closet World did the master closet. It's about 18 feet long and 22 inches deep. It has a shelving and the drawers and shelves in there. We were very happy and satisfied with the work. The installer was good. He was very efficient and professional.

I got the garage cabinet and then a closet organizer from Closet World. The two installers started at 10:00 and it lasted until about 5:00. They were really friendly and nice. They were respectful and informative throughout the whole process when they needed to come inside to do a closet versus when they were working in the garage.

We purchased four, large garage cabinets from Closet World and the experience was easy. We were happy with the installation and the end product as well. The designer was great. She took all the measurements. We have a large garage with two different garage doors and she had to work around that, as well as a solar system wiring panels. She did a good job of getting everything measured perfectly. So when they installed, there were no issues. Time-wise, the expectations were met quite easily by the guys. And it was also raining.

Not only did the installer destroy one of my closets by pulling baseboard and leaving holes in the drywall, and trying to hide it so we couldn't see. Then refusing to come out and fix it. Instead sending me $20. Then we have an issues with some drawers since three months after installation. The issue was an install problem. But they will only send out someone to fix it if you pay $130 for trip and labor. I spent over $8,000 and now they want to nickel and dime me for fixing their sloppy labor. Buy from another company!

The designer was very polite and informative. It was a very good experience. I was very comfortable with his presentation and his drawing of what we wanted. He listened to what we wanted and made it work in the space that we had. It was a pretty easy process. We had the wood grain finish. It was super dense particle board. It looks good. I had a centerpiece with the drawers put in. We also had the upper and lower hangar racks put in on either side of it and then two additional long ones for dresses for my wife on her side and then on my side, we put double-stacked hanger bars.
Our installer was really, really good. However, if he had known that we had a three-story house and that the closet was on the third floor, he would have had another helper that day because it was just him. He had to haul everything up and down by himself. But he didn't complain about it. He was on the ball with it and very professional about the whole situation. I was impressed with how fast it went together. I thought it was gonna take all day, but it only took a couple of hours. He cleaned up and everything looked very professional.
Closet World has a good product. My wife loves it. She is happy, so that makes me happy. The only thing that I would have an issue with was the price. It was a little pricey for it. But other than that, it was easy to put together and they did a good job with it. They've been doing these closets for 40 years, and they have a great warranty for it if anything should happen.

The first time I used Closet World was 10 years ago and the second time was five months ago. Then just recently, I used them again. It was a different design person each time and they were all good. The very first time I used them, we were doing a master closet where we lived. It was a clunky-looking closet area and the gal did a great job. The one who came out here to do the closet in this house was a very nice lady and the one who came out to do the built-ins that I have in the dining room was also very nice, pleasant, business-like and professional.
Closet World sent out one guy to do the installation in the dining room. The design was perfect and I was very happy with the choice I made. He was here forever, put the stuff in, did a nice job and cleaned up. He was here for five and a half hours. It’s not that big of a deal but if Closet World sent out two people, it would’ve been done a lot faster. When they bring the panels in, there are codes on them and they pull the paper that covers it. There was a lot of residues left so I still have some areas I gotta get up on a ladder and clean. But that was the only issue.
I referred Closet World to a friend who was doing over the house that she bought in Palm Springs. And I told her to just call them up and have them come out and give her a quote. At least she'll know where she stands on it. I would recommend people to come out and see the pricing and the quality. I'm very happy with the quality of Closet World. They have the samples right there so you know what you're getting. And it was put together in my closet here. It's beautiful and it’s exactly what I wanted.

The designer was okay but the tools that Closet World uses are very old school or outdated. So, she showed it on paper and I kept guessing what it would look like. I wouldn't be able to see exactly what I would get in the 360 dimension. Also, doing it by hand was very inefficient. So, it took almost the whole day to finish the design. I had the hanging bar installed and we have some drawers. The installer came in a little late and came in at 4:00 PM. He did it alone in the beginning but two more people came in after 6:00 and it was finished around 7:30. The people came in twice and the first time, they didn't have everything correctly from the factory. So, the guy came back and brought it a few days later. Also, it was a little off so I reported some issues and he fixed it.
The work was okay but I was very disappointed with the quality of the closet. When you close the drawer, it should have a slow-moving function but I don’t have that. We didn’t have a lot of budget but it was already 4,000 and what I got was very basic hangings and only eight drawers. Even with IKEA, you can have a drawer opener, the glass and a separator. People should not use Closet World.

This is the second time I've used Closet World. I used them a couple of years ago to do my master closet and I used them this time to do one of the guest closets. I was happy with the price and the service I got the first time, so I used them again and I was pleased with the outcome. The first time, I had the poles to hang the clothes on, but I also had nine drawers on each. My closet is like a U-turn around the tub. They put in some cabinets, too. They had nine drawers on both sides and they had cubby holes above it. There are six cubby holes on each side. It took most of the day. I was happy with it.
The second time, I just had some shelving put in and some more poles to hang clothes on. My wife's a quilter and she stores lots of fabric and different things, and she needed more room for it. I explained to the Closet World designer what I wanted and she made it happen. The installation took a couple of hours. I'm happy with the quality of their work. It's good and it meets my needs. I would recommend Closet World to other people. In fact, I have recommended it to one of my ex-employees and they got it done a couple of weeks after me. I wanna use Closet World again.

The installers were awesome because I've had the closet done before in a different house. This time was really fast compared to the last time I had it done. I had them take out the old one. So I was really shocked. It was very impressive. They were great guys and very professional. Closet World is great. They have great pricing and all of their staff is amazing.

When the seller came in, he was very nice. He warned me and said, "We're gonna be pulling out things on your wall. 'Cause it's a new build and there'll be some rough spots and maybe some holes in your drywall." I understand it's probably deep in the contract, but nobody ever explained that to me and I was not happy with that. If I'm gonna pay almost $2,000 for a closet, I expect it to look professionally-finished, and complete. Their excuse was that they don't do drywall and paint. So they make the closet and if they put some holes in the wall, they don't fix it.
After he left, I bought paint and drywall stuff. I was up till midnight patching the holes. I called Closet World back and I told them that this was not made clear to me and I would like to have some kind of a discount or a credit. But they told me that if I would have bought the panels that went behind it, then I wouldn't see it. That's true. You won't see it anyway because your clothes are in front of it. But also, there are parts of it my clothes did not cover that were pretty gross. They were outside the closet's construction, but in the closet that they pulled out. They didn't wanna work with me. I was pretty mad the whole time the installer was here. He was nice and did his job very well until I found something else later on.
When the designer was here, I liked her very much. I told her that I needed to have a built-in desk in this little nook that I have. She was gonna do me a desk and she did. After I complained, she called me to see how things were and I told her not good. She said, "Well, do you wanna move ahead with the desk?" I told her that I was not gonna work with them anymore. It was a horrible experience. So I had Closets by Design install my desk.
More than a week ago, I finally closed my closet door because I've had it open, putting my clothes in. When I closed it, there's a huge gouge on the front of the door, from the edge of the door to the mirror that's inserted inside the door. I confronted Closet World about that and they said they would address it. But they still haven't addressed it. Overall, the product is great, but with their customer service and them not budging when they destroyed my surrounding closet, I would never recommend them.

We had a designer come out to give us a quote, she spent over 3 hours drawing the plans. She came back and spent 2 1/2 hours finalizing everything. Well install is not because wrong panels sent. Now they are telling us well it will be another 5 days before they can complete it. Our other closet, yes we signed the plans but the designer did not want to listen to what we wanted or said they can’t do it. She came up with her own design. Well it is not functional, spoke to a manager and they said it is what it is. They can’t improve their date so I told them I don't want it finished, they can take it back an incomplete closet can’t use. They offered a $100. It is not about the money, I just would expect a quicker turnaround but they don’t work on Saturdays. Terrible customer service or support.

We were replacing some cabinets that were damaged by water. When the sales guy from Closet World came out, he looked at the other cabinets we had in the house and he said they were their stuff. Ultimately, it was a good reason why we chose them because we didn't need to replace all of the cabinets since they were able to match the ones that we already had. The salesman and I agreed on the size and where the new cabinets would go. Then, the installation was scheduled immediately but there was a little bit of a delay. They were supposed to come in the morning, but they came in the afternoon. But they called me to tell me that that was happening. I would recommend Closet World to a friend.

The designer was excellent. She met our needs and described in detail what the closet will look like when it was finished. Closet World had a special promo of 50% off the closet and installation was free. Since they were busy, installation was after a couple of weeks, but when they came in, it was done in two hours. They did an excellent job.

Closet World is a good company to work with. I couldn't get the Wells Fargo card but that was my fault though, not theirs. The designer was very nice and helpful in suggesting how the closet should be. The installer was quite professional and I really like the quality of the work. As a matter of fact, I'm going to put some cabinets in my garage and I'm thinking they're going to do the job for me.

We had two separate jobs and they both went well. And everyone that we spoke to or dealt with from Closet World was very professional. They were good people. So, we appreciate the business. Our designer was professional, honest, engaging and personable. It was a good experience. There was a delay with the truck, but Closet World was very communicative. And they were able to get us in. They had to cancel the original appointment, but were able to get us in the next business day. So, that worked out well.

Closet World's rep was professional and knew what she was doing. She showed me the options and made some recommendations. I expressed what I desired and she helped me meet what it was that I was looking for. The installer was here on time, and did the job in a timely manner. Where he bolted to the wall is coming off but that's the only concern.

I was very happy with Closet World. The designer was wonderful. She spent tons of time, and the whole estimate, her coming out, and everything were free. The installation was great. It took a little more than an hour, but the work was great. For the laundry room, it's exactly what I needed.

I called Closet World for a free estimate, they came out, and I liked the female representative. She seemed knowledgeable and drew up some plans. She pretty much did what she wanted to do, but I liked it. And the final result came out better than I thought. The installation went smoothly and they did a good job. I had the standard wood rail going across the top of my closet on two different rooms. I only had two racks of clothes I could put in there and Closet World put in an adjustable rack so now, I have two running across on both sides and I doubled my space.

They deserve a negative. Run as fast as you can. My contract is $50,000, and Closet World is the worst company I have ever ever ever dealt with in my entire life. How they are in business is beyond me. Quality is the worse, scheduling is a joke. The amount of time they spend to install is a joke, managers just lie over and over, and "Tomorrow we will be there." They spend 2-3 hours a day installing. I took it as far as I could with managers. They just charged my Wells Fargo credit app and didn't finish. Cheap quality. Scratches everywhere, drawings and measurements are not as quoted. Delays nonstop.

My experience with Closet World is 100% positive. Their price is reasonable too. Their customer service has been very good. I had the door replaced just recently because I hit it with my car and they were very good about it. They came out, took care of business, and everything was good. The cabinets work great. They're adjustable shelves. We've adjusted them and adapted them to do what we want them to do.

The sales rep from Closet World was on time when she came out to do the initial assessment, and she was very nice, informational and real with us about what would help us save some money. She was very conscious of that, and we appreciated it. Installation was relatively easy, and our sales rep was there to make sure that the job got done. She also called to check in. Her customer service was excellent. When the installers came in, they did the job and left it clean, so it was really nice. The quality was nice too. It was just what we wanted.

DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY!!! We had a designer come out to take measurements and she was so lovely, I really liked her. Unfortunately she did not listen to my husband when he told her what closet depth we wanted and we did not check her work.... It never occurred to us that A. She would not listen and B. That she would not use the entire space we had available for the closet. Pan to 2 weeks later when my husband finished preparing the space (he had surgery so couldn't do the work right away) and we looked at the plans only to discover the discrepancy of over 4 inches!!!!
I contacted her straight away (at this point the install was 2 days away) and told her what happened. She said there was nothing she could do and I would have to speak to a manager. After 6 calls and messages he finally got back to me to tell me that there was absolutely nothing that he could do for me since the pieces were already cut. I am a repeat customer and was willing to pay for the difference in price for the correct measurement. He said there was nothing that could be done and that they would keep our deposit of $1023.00 and that I could find someone else to work with. To say I am disappointed is an understatement. I wish I had read the reviews on this company before deciding to hire them again because they really and truly do not care about their reputation or their customers.

Closet World's products are of good qualityy and designed specifically for both closets that we did. Closet World put everything in in one day, and there was another day when somebody came out to draw up and give us the plans. That only took two hours. The guy was nice, did a great job, and we're very satisfied with what he did. Everything went wonderfully. We're happy.

I had Closet World install an office system for a home office and it includes bookcases, open shelving, cupboards, some drawers and a countertop area space. The installers were here all day and had to come back the next day to finish it. The quality is what I expected. For a closet, it was perfectly fine. It is something that most people don't show off to the public. Some people have home offices that are right off their front door or downstairs in an area that guests see when they come over and they want that luxurious library office look. That isn't this, but this is more of an upstairs home office that's mainly for our use and it is perfect. It's well-made quality. It has a lot of things that you see that you wouldn't normally see with what you would consider furniture versus built-in.
The designer was what made this so amazing and I don't know if it would be something I would recommend if I had worked with somebody else who wasn't as responsive, creative, and as knowledgeable about both design and the product and how to merge what I was telling her I wanted with what the company could offer, how to put it all together, and then how to get all the details right. The installers showed up with what they were told to bring, and the measurements and everything were from the designer, which was the critical piece.

The designer was amazing and was very thorough on our needs. The final product is gorgeous and very functional. But the installation was entirely too long. What should have been a one-day install turned into a three-visit, one-month long install. There was a punctured water line and some flooding. First, they showed up with half of the install so I got half of the pantry. They said they were waiting on the second half to come in. The second half came in and they brought it out but it was measured incorrectly. They come a third time with the correctly measured stuff but they put a hole in the water line in the wall. This was the Friday before Christmas. The install coordinator was the rudest person I have ever talked to. His exact words were, “What do you want me to do about it? Call a plumber.” But they fixed it and they ended up giving me 10% off.

My husband had several issues with Closet World. He tried to cancel. They said, “You can't cancel anymore.” He asked for something different. They made some changes and I approved them. But he was angry about it ‘cause he said, “I specifically said I wanted that.” They don't do custom-made. They do boxes and just put them together. It works for a square space. This was more of a pantry that had a different shape. He was not happy ‘cause he told the salesperson how he wanted it and she said, “We're gonna do that.” It doubled up the amount because she said because of the special cuts. They never did the special cuts, but the amount was the same.
I liked the person that came to sell. She was very nice. They were also good at answering calls. But they make you pay before they walk into your house and install everything. They need to also show you on the computer how it's gonna look before. But the price is fair and they said if something breaks, I can call them, and they will replace that.

We did work with Closet World in the past, and we chose them because we needed some custom work done. It was something that you cannot find in a regular box store. Cheryl was our designer. She came into our house, took some measurements and then drew something, gave us some ideas, and provided us with some blueprints. We thought it was a good idea. We told her what we wanted, too. She put everything together and gave us a blueprint.
She told us they were gonna call us to schedule an installation date. A couple of weeks went by. We haven't heard from them. So, we eventually called her and she told us that everything has been approved and then we needed to call and schedule it. So, that was a misunderstanding. We scheduled it and took a day off. The installers came to do installation. When they came in, they started building. There were three pieces to it. They built one piece and then when they were trying to do a smaller unit, they showed us what they wanted to do. We told them, “No. That's not what we agreed on. That's not what is on the blueprints.” The blueprints showed them a very nice square, and they wanted to do a triangle hollow space in there. I said, “No. That's not correct.”
Also, some of the cuts that they brought were incorrect because they were sticking out too much from the wall closer to the washer and dryer unit. So, they were the wrong size and they were the wrong design. We told them, “No. No install on that one. I didn't wanna move forward.” They took measurements. They took a paper template, and they said they were gonna come back again for another installation. We scheduled. We took another day off for the installation. When they came back, those measurements were incorrect as well. We told them, “No. That's not what we agreed on.” They tried to push us to continue with the installation. “No. That's not what I pay for.”
They were telling us that they couldn't do a certain cut. We said, “What's the whole point of doing the custom work if you can't do it? That's why I hired you guys for, to do custom work, ‘cause if I could go and get everything at Home Depot for a fraction of the price, then that defeats the whole purpose.” Then Alfonso was trying to push us and convince us that the machinery didn't do the sketches. We got into an argument with them. At this point, they took another template, but it was not a paper template. It was a wood template. They told us that they were gonna try to do their best to do the cuts, this and that, and they were scheduled to be back today to do the final installation.
They basically said that they weren't sure if they could do those cuts. So, at that point, we were arguing. “Well, why do you claim to do custom closets and custom work? And not only claim it, but you had it drawn by your person that creates the closets, by the designer.” We said, “So, you basically are telling me that she drew something you guys cannot build?” He said, “Yes.” So, that doesn't make sense. Then we told him, “So, I'm being charged for an imaginary closet?”
There's a unit that goes from floor to ceiling. It's a shelf unit, and that unit is about 12 inches deep by 3 feet wide and as tall as the house. Next to it was the unit in question that we were having issues with. The reason why they were telling me they couldn't cut it is because the wall behind the tall unit and the wall behind the smaller unit in question create a 45-degree angle. But when they put the big unit, it didn't go all the way to the edge where those two walls connect. So, now there's like a half an inch piece. That was the one that they were telling us they couldn't cut and they wanna make a triangle and have hollow piece in there. It was because they didn't make the bigger unit wider to meet that edge of the other unit.
It's supposed to be a one-day installation and we're on our third day. It's our third day off, too, and waiting for them. We just get excuses. If it was an easy job, we would have done it ourselves and paid $400 versus the $2,000 that Closet World is now charging us, and that's with the 50% off to do a little custom work. It was in December when we started the process.
Right now, we're not too dissatisfied, but we're dissatisfied because of the time it's taken, the days off we've had to do and because for that small space, we feel like they should be done. Their excuse is it can’t be done, and it's something that they messed up. If they did it wrong, you would think that they would tell the designer to go back and say, “Okay. We need you to go back and remeasure because our guys are not getting this right.” Why do we have to do that?

When the designer first came out, it was fine but he didn't do the right measurements. When another guy came out, he had to remeasure and they had to redo some stuff. But the installer did everything I wanted and everything worked out okay. Also, the quality is excellent.

At first, I was reluctant because the closets looked elaborate and very expensive. But I decided to find out and the Closet World rep did exactly what I wanted without having a lot of expense. The person that installed it knew what he was doing. He had to do a couple of minor adjustments to make it fit in a corner and he did a great job. It's nice to look into my closet. It's organized. I can find things. I was thinking of having some more shelving put in. They gave me a price and I'll get back to them when I get back from out of town.

The designer gave us all the information we needed to know and to have the five cabinets installed. Two people came, assembled them in the garage and hung them on the wall. They were very clean. Installation took four and a half hours, and so far, so good. They haven't fallen off the wall. Overall, Closet World was good. They were overpriced, but that's part of life. I could have done better, but not as better quality.

The first time I went to Closet World, I had a closet done. About two years ago, when I decided I was ready, I wanted to do my other closet and make some changes to the one I had. I told the rep what I wanted and it didn't come out exactly like the original picture that was drawn and presented, but I could understand why. It was because there wasn't enough space. Still, I'm happy with it. Installation took less than eight hours, and I was happy with all the workers that came here as well.
I liked Closet World, but I would get more estimates next time. The first time I went with Closet World, I didn't shop around. I took the estimate they gave me. I know everything goes up every year, but I got a better deal the first time. Even though I was a repeat customer, the price this time was a little higher than I would have wanted to pay.

Isabella was wonderful. She listened to what our needs were and came up with designs. There was one area and asked her, "Can we do this instead of that?" She said, yes, and she redid it. We love them. It added so much more storage space. The installation was long. I was surprised that Closet World only sent one guy because we had four different areas done. He showed up at around 10:00 and he was there until after 8:00. The only thing is that they need to really look at more of what all is being installed and that there should have been at least one more guy. They could had a guy working in each area.
We've loved the work that was done. It's very, very nice. I really like the materials. It's easy to clean. We had one section that was done in our living room. The only thing was that we had it fill a hole to make it look more finished, it was just about an inch where it didn't hit to the roof of that area. We had two laundry rooms done with just shelving and one had a cupboard in it. So we had a cupboard that's a broom closet put in and then we just had a lot of shelving. We did the baskets over the washer and dryer in our upstairs laundry room. I'm a very visual person. So just looking at the picture, I envisioned these baskets were a lot smaller and they were huge. I have to actually have a step stool to get up and down to put stuff into the basket. But I love that everything is adjustable because then I can get what I want to fit on the shelf.
We also had a cabinet put in in our living room. We call it our game center. On the bottom is just a cupboard with drawers and we have all of our games. Then above it, we have a countertop and then about 20 inches for putting pictures and decorative stuff. We had shelving put in for pictures and decorative stuff. We also have an under the stairs storage closet and it's my favorite because that's where I had a lot of stuff and it was hard to see. I could never see anything because everything was piled on top of everything. But now, it's so organized. It's nice to have a place to put everything.

I had some custom things needed to be done and it was not an issue. Closet World was very friendly, prompt, and professional. I've got four compartments. There are two upright shelf units and there's four rods in total. So it's a quadrant of four. To the left, I've got eight shelves. It's exactly what I needed. They worked really hard. They were very fast, clean, and efficient. The quality was great.

The designer from Closet World was great. She was very informative and it took a lot of time to explain stuff to us. We initially wanted one closet redone, but we ended up getting two done. She did a good job of giving us options when she measured and that made me feel comfortable enough to get the second closet done. The installers were really good and they got done in a very reasonable amount of time. The design is a little bit off and the drawers are a little bit not where I would have put them. But I'm not devastated. Until you see them installed, it was hard to imagine.

The designer at Closet World was really nice, very insightful and helpful. She came up and went over it. We agreed to her drawing, layout and blueprint. The installers came up the next week and put it in. The installation was good. But they had to come back. They had a few issues with stuff that they did, but for the most part, it was fast. The installer was here at night, so I thought he was gonna have to do it for two days. But he ended up just knocking it out. It was a very simple and smooth transaction. There was not a lot of back and forth and figuring things out. They made it seamless.

Closet World's designer listened to what we wanted and took measurements. She sat in our living room for 45 minutes, and drew up the closet. She asked, "Is this what you're looking for?" We made a couple of changes and I said, "It's gotta be this size." She came out with a price and it was amicable. I said, "Yeah, let's do it. What do you need?" It was all a good experience. We have a top shelf that goes from one end of the closet to the other and there's two and a half feet of space above that. We have one standing area for clothes that hang on one side. We have another standing area for clothes that hang on the other side. And on the center column, it's wide enough for a small TV, an open space, and cabins below.
The salesman may have not told the installer that we were up on the third floor. So, he was unprepared. He needed a dolly to go from the parking area to the stairs and I provided the dolly for him. He said, "Had I known, I would have had a helper and a dolly." But it was fine. He had to take the lower molding off the closet area because he said that the installation would go all the way towards the back and we couldn't have that there. So, when you take it off, it leaves bare wall, which is unpainted. I said I couldn't have that.
In a perfect world, the installer would have everything that he needed for every installation. But I know that they don't. I don't think he had any touch-up paint because he would have to bring many different colors. But he said that he had some trim piece that he would put down there, but we may not like the way it looked. I just told him to leave it. And we put some shoes down there and one couldn't tell that it's unpainted. Other than that, it looks great.

I had two closets installed and they were exactly what I paid for. There were some issues with my existing structure so the designs that I had in place didn't work and we had to go to the first design we created, which wasn't my ideal choice. But Closet World's guys did it without charging me and made sure I was happy, which I loved. The installation was done right before Christmas. I was expecting it to take four hours but it ended up taking six hours. When it was about two hours, the guy called for help because it was starting to get late. He kept in touch with me the whole time and ended up going a little bit more quickly than he had predicted. Every single friend or family member who's seen it said it was a beautiful closet. I would recommend Closet World. Their product is a little bit more budget-friendly. It serves the function, it's decent quality and they gave me a good price. So it was good.

Closet World’s website showed me three closets and I saw the promotion 50 off for the holidays. The installer came and did a good job. It took around four hours to get the closet done. I paid a good price for it and they work perfectly. I like it.

I used Closet World on my old house 30 years ago. I had a master bedroom closet installed, and it had a hanging space, different shelving and drawers. It was a little expensive for what I got, but I used them again. This time, I also did a master closet, and I did a hallway closet as well. I got a hanging space and shelving, but there are no drawers this time. Have Closet World come out and give you a quote. Check with other vendors too.

Closet World was in and out within a couple of days. They were very quick and had somebody come out and look at the area in my master bedroom. She sketched the closet right there on the tablet for me and showed me what her vision of the final product was. The guy made some changes to it because I had an existing safe inside the closet that I did not want to move. It was 1 inch off center, so that makes the whole thing off center, but they were able to accommodate it by making one of the shelves just a little longer on one end. It was my end, so it worked out great. It was a win-win situation. The closet is fabulous and way more than I expected. It’s veneer covered particle board like everybody else, but they're certainly adequate and within industry standards without a problem.
Closet World did what they said, and they were fantastic. There was some pick-up or forgotten something that occurred, but they were back the next day. It was fantastic, short, and sweet. I'm a general contractor and my dad was. For me to say that, that's high accolades. There's usually a lot of rework and I'm never satisfied. On the other hand, Closet World was very professional, and I was very surprised. I have recommended them to several other people since.

I knew the design that I wanted. That's why I called Closet World and told them what I want. I got a small walk-in closet. Closet World did shelving and racks in that. And the second one, we closed the loft and made that into a bigger walk-in closet. I had another two racks added on to my walk-in closet. The rep was very nice and professional. I asked the installer if he could move the mirror for me or try to put it on the wall, but he couldn't. Other than that, he was good. After looking at the project and the material, I could have saved more. It was a bit pricey. But I had a great experience.

The designer from Closet World was amazing. I wasn't sure what I wanted and she helped me critique it more to myself and then gave me suggestions. If I wanted something, she said, "Maybe we'll look at this as opposed to that" to blend more with what I already had in the house. So, she was very good with suggestions. She was very good with measuring. She was very good at helping me grasp an idea of what I really wanted. I was not in a good place at the time that I was doing all these. I had some family things going on. So, she was able to help me dial in on what I wanted and it did come out very nice.
There were a couple of bumps in the road on the installation but it was okay. The guy patched up my wall and dented my washing machine and didn't tell me. I would have liked to know that it happened. I was very happy with the designer. She should get a kudos. The gentleman that I called to say that I needed to patch my wall and everything did tell me as soon as I got it done to just send him the bill. It's very small. It needs to be sanded and just painted over. I was just a little unnerved that the guy didn't tell me he dented my dryer and he didn't tell me about the wall. But the gentleman on the phone that I spoke to was very nice, polite, and apologetic. I would call Closet World again. I will just make sure I will be overseeing the installation the next time.

We really liked the sales lady that helped us out. She was spectacular, and the installer was a stud. I would hire that guy for my company at any moment. From design to build, it took three weeks, and the closet looks beautiful. We have eight drawers, a laundry basket, as well as the long hangers, the shirt hanger area and a bunch of cubbies. The material is great. We are having an issue with something right now, but that's something that Closet World can resolve really easily. Other than that, it works great. It's a great product and people should at least go through the design process and see what it looks like.

I had one closet organizer put in my son's bedroom. The designer was great. She designed the first option and redesigned the second option. We went back and forth and she gave me four different designs until I got what I wanted. She was really flexible and accommodating. The techs came on time and really respected my house. They explained what was gonna happen and how long it would take. After the installation, they cleaned up and had me test the drawers and make sure everything is working. They provided me with a contact number and all the information and after-install support. I'm happy with what I got, especially the price difference that I got from other companies. This is almost the same quality if not better because most of the materials are just pressed wood. The fact that they opened up a new line of credit and did no interest was great too.

I had one closet redone and a Murphy bed installed by Closet World. We did it in one of the bedrooms. My husband is working from home so we converted that. We tried to make more space. So, the Murphy bed made sense. The designer did a nice job putting things together, and wasn't high pressure. She was very good. Everything went as expected. I was happy with it.

I loved Closet World. They were great. When the designer came out, she gave me a quote and it was well under what I expected it to be. It was such an easy process. I have a really long closet, and they divided it up. So I went from a long closet that just had a rod and a shelf in it to one that's divided into forts with shelves. I love it so much. I wish I would have done it a long time ago. Only one man came to install it but it didn't take him all that long. It was precise. I didn't have to do the prep work. The final product was perfect. It was such a positive experience. I was very, very, very happy.
The designer was wonderful. I could tell she was experienced. She came in and sketched it out by hand. At first, I wanted drawers and she asked me why I wanted drawers since I have a dresser right there. Then she said, “When my friends had their closet done, they just put baskets and stuff.” She told me that I could always go back and add the drawers if I wanted but I should just start with trying the baskets. So I went with her expertise.
I had really big closet doors on there before, which were always broken. So, I asked her about that and she said, “Well, you know what? Why don't you try it without closet doors? And if you don't like it, then we'll come back out and we'll put the closet doors back on, some kind of closet doors.” So far, I like it without closet doors. She was so professional and knowledgeable. The best part about it was I didn't feel pressured. She wasn't an upseller. She just asked me what I wanted. I told her that I didn't know what I wanted and she said, “Well, then let's just start with the basics.” I appreciated that so much. She had very good communication. She explained everything thoroughly. It was such a great process.

I liked Closet World's advertisements for discounts. I had them install my whole closet, rods, shelves, and doors. It was the whole nine yards. The designer was good. They explained exactly what they were doing, and they did it. The installation was quick and efficient. It had everything ready to go. It was one of my more enjoyable redecoration efforts. I love the end product. My closet is so much better. The cost was worth it to me.

Closet World worked on my last house in my garage and master bedroom, and did a good job. I liked what they did on my first house. So, the second house was a no-brainer. They went ahead and took care of it. They removed the wire hanger stuff and put in a nice master bedroom closet for me. And I did the garage. I did a wall of cupboard cabinets. Everything went smoothly. The rep designed it up for me, I picked it out, they installed it, and everything went good. The installer did it all in one day. They did a good job.

The Closet World rep came and listened to what I wanted, and sketched it all out. We made some changes to it, and then they priced it up. The rep knew what she was doing. She knew the product, and I was impressed how she drew it up by hand. It was a garage cabinet. Getting that installed wasn't bad. I emptied the garage out. They just came and installed it, and it's exactly what we drew up.

The designer came out and was very knowledgeable in helping me make the design. She helped me make decisions about what I wanted. She asked me questions as to why I wanted what I asked for. She was very detailed. I had an empty wall in my room and I told her that I needed to be more organized because I have crates of stuff everywhere. And I had these big cabinets. They looked junky. I got rid of my cabinets, and now I have all this stuff stacked in my walk-in closet. I told her I needed some lock cabinets for safety medication purposes and I wanted open door cabinets. I told her about my maybe fitting five sweatshirts in the drawer.
We talked about measurements, and I was familiar with the measurements that she spoke of because I've been looking around at Home Depot. She talked about making the drawers deeper where I could get more clothing in the drawer. So what we have now, on the left and right sides, an upper cabinet space where the doors that possibly would lock. One side locked, the other side wouldn't. And in the middle are three open shelves. The bottom is all drawers. I have three stackable drawers in three sections. They’re deep drawers and they fit a lot of stuff.
The installer came in, set all his stuff up, and was done in less than two hours. He put everything right up. The following time, the next guy, four hours. He almost did the same thing, but what happened was he had a different type wall to deal with. This one was a walk-in closet that he installed. And with that one, the walls and flooring were off. And the other guy, the flooring was off, but it wasn't off that much whereas he wasn't able to do it quickly. He looked more experienced. The second guy looked a little younger and took more time trying to measure and make sure things were right. But the quality of work was excellent in both cases.
The first guy forgot to put a bottom piece on the unit where you wouldn't see that it was lifted up off the floor. He came back right away, too. They just told me to send them a picture of what the issue was, and they sent somebody out right away. With the first set, my daughter turned around and slammed one of the drawers, and the whole face of the drawer fell off. I called the designer right away. She told me what to do, and she sent somebody out within days. They did an excellent job, and I'm very happy with my job. I would not recommend anybody else other than Closet World.

We used Closet World back in 2003 initially to put in cabinets in our garage when we moved to our home. During the pandemic when I was home, I called them back to come and give me the estimate for two closets for two bedrooms. Then they came again because I had them do another bedroom closet. I told them specifically what I was wanting and what items I was gonna be storing. They came up with a very good, easy plan. The installation was easy. They knew what they were doing. I'll be calling them back to do a bigger closet job for me. I also recommended them to a family member who just had her master bedroom closet redone. She was very happy too.

I don't like Closet World. They lost me as a customer. My closet's not right. It keeps falling. They are gonna charge me again to come out and try to fix it. They put these little brackets in but they are not long enough for my stuff. They should have put a longer rod into the hole on the pole. The lady was rude. I was telling her that I already had paid for the work done and I have a warranty. She said, “You have to pay extra for them to come out because they have to pay for gas.” I'm trying to get it redone through another company now, but they are gonna charge me more money.
It's the same thing with my cabinet inside. Those brackets are too small too. They need to make them half-decent so they could be able to hold my stuff in the shelves. The guy who did the drawers was nice. He helped me do a couple things that he wasn't even supposed to do. But as for the guy who did the design in the beginning, my design is not right. I can't even get to all my clothes the way he got it designed. He designed the rack to go into the back. I can't reach the other clothes to the back. They do their stuff any kind of way. They don't care.

Closet World's pricing was reasonable. I had a garage floor put in. I had some shelves put in the garage. I had a laundry room done, and I had a closet done. The designer was fabulous. We connected really well. She was able to come up with some ideas that I wasn't even thinking about as far as the stacking the washer and making a little laundry room and then some extra space in the closet that I didn't think I would have.
The installation wasn't good as far as putting in the floor. They had to come back a couple of times. I had this J.Lo checkerboard floor put in and it wouldn't stay to the ground. It kept coming up. But what they did was they gave me half price as far as the installation. So, that was nice. The installers were awesome and hardworking guys.
The end product is beautiful. It's holding up well. It looks good. I'm really happy with it. The supervisors are really good at getting back with you and getting things resolved. I thought that was nice. What could have been improved was communication as far as the flooring, how it was gonna be and the wear and tear on it. My garage is not one where you just pull right into a garage from the street. You have to pull in and turn. This type of material wasn't made for that. It didn't have a lock in place.

I had a desk and a bookcase installed by Closet World. The products are good. The pricing is a little steep but it's a custom design, so it was okay. I had one issue that I haven't talked to them about yet. There's a particle board that separated at one edge. I guess it's a glue issue. I left them a text, and they haven't got back to me yet, but I'm sure they will. Bobbie, the person I worked with was very friendly and animated, and seemed to know what she was doing. The installer was efficient and didn't cause a mess. It was a smooth operation. He added something after the drawing that Bobbie had done that I asked him to do, and he brought that by the next day, so it was all good.

I had four closets done in my one house. They also designed a really nice cabinet. In my mom's place, we had another big walk-in closet too. I was happy with the quality of the closets. It's much more organized now. I wish I would have done it years ago.

I had Closet World install master bedroom walk-in closet for hanging clothes and pants as well as drawers and shelves. I had a young lady designer who was wonderful to work with. She was very attentive and she listened to what my needs were. She didn't hard sell her product. She worked with me on the cost to keep it under what I could afford. She was honest with me with everything. She was an excellent representative for the company. The installation was good as well. The installers were professional. The only issue I had was one or two of the rods for the clothing were too short. I had to remeasure them myself after the installers left and call the dimensions into the gentleman at the factory. He cut a new one and sent it out to me right away.

The product was okay, but the installation itself was not very impressive, and they left my wall quite a mess. I didn't know that they were gonna not do anything. They ripped out the old stuff that was in there, and I had to patch and retexture the wall myself.

I needed my closet done. It was strange because the designer didn't really design it for the whole closet. It was like part of the closet. The installation went somewhat okay but then I noticed that our stuff started falling off. If Closet World is gonna do installments for a whole closet, they should do the whole closet and not part of the closet. When you ask about the whole closet, they wanna charge you extra, which I think is not okay.

The lady with Closet World, Amanda, was very good explaining everything and designing for my wife’s closet. She was very knowledgeable. They did a 5x9 walk-in closet that my wife wanted. On one of the shelves, there were couple of scratches, but the design and the material were good and so was the installer. I had to reschedule the installation twice because the place wasn't ready. They were fine with that and gave me a good option. The installer did all the cutting outside, so there was no dust inside the house. Before he did the installation, he pulled the plan out and walked us through it. He went through the area that was designed with my wife, including every section of the wall and where the shelves would go. Overall, we’re very happy.

I told the designer what I wanted and then she told me what was available and I picked out my own thing. It's good quality. The installers were very courteous and friendly. They did an excellent job installing except the handles. I'm five feet two and the handles were 65 inches from the floor up. They were too high. I suggested to the rep that they put a double set of handles on the bottom, the same height as the ones on the top. He said he would get back to me. But it was almost like he ghosted me. I waited about three weeks to hear from him.
When I didn't hear from him, I called him back. He told me he had to get back to me. I was a little outdone because I needed a set of six handles. So he charged me $72. It was really their mistake. But I paid it because I wanted it done. The first time, he sent a young man out and he only ordered six handles. So I called him back again and he did say it was his fault and then he sent another crew out. I finally got them right. I was a little upset at the way it was handled. I shouldn't be charged.
