The consultant who assisted with the design was friendly, but she never discussed important details like shelf sizes, and I was a bit disappointed when the installed shelves turned out smaller than expected. They could have utilized my closet space better, considering it's quite large. Unfortunately, leftover nails from previous fixtures were not addressed, which was bothersome since I'm 85 and need to hire help for this.

Installation was efficient but lacked the customization I was hoping for, like more hanging spaces or larger shelves. Despite my frustrations with these aspects, the overall look is satisfactory. Still, I'm hesitant to do more closets with them, as the experience hasn't entirely met my expectations.

I'm mindful of giving Closet World a fair assessment and would consider recommending them, recognizing that part of the issue may have been from my side for not clearly communicating my needs. However, the lack of follow-up and design inflexibilities leave me pondering potential alternatives for any future projects.

The shelving they installed along two walls includes a corner unit that's not even level. They blame this on my walls and floors, claiming they're not straight, but I find it unbelievable that a professional installer wouldn't have dealt with such issues before. Their insistence that they can't make any adjustments is frustrating.

The experience with the installation team wasn't great. Most of them did not speak English, and while I have no problem with that, their lack of professionalism stood out. It felt like they were discussing things in front of me without being open and transparent, and I could sense them talking about me.

When it came to handling issues, interaction with their installer manager was no better. He was dismissive and talked down to me simply because I am a woman, refusing to take my concerns seriously. I ended up having to contact the company directly and insist on dealing with someone else moving forward.

Overall, I would rate my experience with Closet World negatively. If asked to give it a star rating, I wouldn’t even consider giving it a 1. It's been a truly disappointing experience across the board.

During my own experience, the designer who came out was attentive and had excellent communication skills. He thoroughly answered all my questions. I decided on installing a few shelves and a drawer, and I was very pleased with the look, finish, and material.

Closet World did an exceptional job. Both my wife and I, and even guests who have seen the work, have nothing but praise. In fact, my daughters used to have their unique closet spaces. At this point my husband and I have called Closet World at over 6 different phone numbers well over 20 times, as well as emailing clientissues@closetworld.com (as I was told to do in my original review) and we still have no answers to when our order will be delivered. The installation process was straightforward—just two installers who arrived on time and worked efficiently for possibly around 2 to 3 hours. We didn't need to assist; they managed everything themselves and made sure our garage was left spotless. I was thoroughly impressed with the quality; I would confidently say the cabinets are built to last for generations. If I were to rate Closet World, I'd give them 5 stars. The ease, quality, and service definitely justify the cost, making me eager to recommend them to friends or family for any organizational needs.

The design process was straightforward. Our designer, who was genuinely fantastic, helped us out. However, since we wanted exactly what we had before because of insurance issues with the fire remediation team, there wasn't much design work involved. She carefully took all the necessary measurements, ensuring everything was just right.

We opted for the most basic setup—a straightforward design with a dresser in the center and then two sides hanging. Installation day was smooth and hassle-free. Just one installer came, and he was exceptionally efficient and friendly. Honestly, the entire process was so quick that I barely noticed the time passing, leaving me very happy with the outcome.

I'm genuinely pleased with how everything turned out and can confidently say the entire experience with Closet World was top-notch.

However, there was a hiccup regarding the measurements. The space I anticipated ended up being smaller due to some discrepancies which wasn't ideal. Had I been informed about this early on, it would have certainly made the experience even smoother.

When it came to the installation, there were a few snags. Although it was supposed to be a two-day process, the team tried to wrap everything up in one day, staying until 8 or 9 o'clock at night. They had to return to fix a few drawer alignments and other issues, but those have since been resolved.

Now that everything's completed, I would describe the quality as quite good—ultimately, it reflects the cost of the service. Overall, I would rate my experience as a 3 out of 5, based on the rushed installation and necessary adjustments afterward.

Downstairs under the stairwell was a little bit challenging. You cannot stand up in the back half of it. So I didn’t have a whole lot of options, but I did the shelving. The gal that put it together pointed me in the right direction. I was going to go with the smaller depth in the shelf, and she said, “You may as well go the extra depth.” And I’m glad that she suggested that, because I would have been left out on that one.

I also had both my closets in the bedrooms done. I had them be a little bit creative, and I had the closet as built out, so it had a platform that was open. And then I had them enclose the ceiling. At first, they thought, “Well, we usually don’t do that.” But they did. They put it together and it’s great too. They put doors on it, exactly what I wanted.

And then at our other house, they built out all the closets. So, they did the drawer and the wrap-around inside the closet. I wish they did kitchens or they did more things than just closets. It is a little bit pricey when you think about it at first, but, all in all, if you want a project done, it’s nice because they come and it’s done. And you don’t have to go any further and think about it. It was worth it to do it with them. The quality is not over the top. As far as lasting, if it lasts as long as my other stuff has lasted, that would excellent. Overall, I am very satisfied.

I think they took care of everything in one day. They had to come out. And somebody didn't measure something right. So they had to come back the next day. But they were very nice. They've done it in an excellent quality.

Well, I could have asked a contractor to come over and do this for me, and the contractor's just gonna do what I tell him to do. I really didn't know how to design the space. But the Closet World lady, she really knew what she was doing since everything turned out really good.

They're expensive, but they're worth it.

The installation went as planned. They showed up a little late, but they were within the time frame they were supposed to be there. They did the installation correctly, and they got it done fairly quickly, and with no trouble. The final product looks fine. It was a bookcase and nothing complicated.

The installation person said he can only install what’s in the contract & that I’d need to reach out to my sales rep. 3 days later, multiple calls & emails to the rep have gone unanswered. I feel like my $ was a total waste. The closet looks TERRIBLE because of all the damage from the removal of the previous closet that is visible behind the new unit. It’s going to take my wife and I a week to fix this since clearly CLOSET WORLD isn’t responding. Simply delays our ability to unpack our wardrobe boxes into the closet.

I told him I wasn't sure his company was the one for me because my purses are important and I wanted them here and there and on display. But I had a narrow budget, and I knew that. Then he showed me a solution that works. And I said, “Well, Al, maybe you are the person.” He said, “Oh, we are. I'll show you what I can do.” He was really great. He drew out what I needed to see and walked me through it. I was then very happy.

I love everything, except I have no backing to that closet. The whole unit was just pieces, not all one cohesive unit that's stuck in the wall. I've had a closet redo before and I got a wooden backing so that it was all white, crisp and cohesive as I slide my clothes left to right. But now I'm looking at a wall every day that tells me I need to paint. I was surprised that they ripped everything out. So it left me more work than I thought I was gonna get.

I broke my foot and I'm in a cast up to my knee for 10 weeks. I can't do the painting right now and my husband's unable to do some things. That means my friend has to come back over for the third time and take out clothing so I can paint. I wasn't expecting that. I didn't want that. But it is what it is, and it definitely is working.

I had a master bedroom closet and garage cabinets done too. It was kind of a pain because the master bedroom closet was on the third floor, so there’s a lot of traipsing around and carrying stuff. The installers were very respectful. It was very clean. I can’t say enough nice things about the installation, and the design helped. They're great.

The designer was wonderful. She was very prompt, not salesy, very practical, and was able to understand what my problem was and provide solutions for it. She was great. The price was super reasonable too, compared with what my preconceived expectation was.

I had a good experience with Closet World. Kudos to them.

Other than that, the people who came and put the unit all together were done in two hours. It looked beautiful, functional, very well made. I have another installation coming on Friday. The installers were very professional, pleasant, and very efficient. I am very happy with the outcome of their work.

I had them come out twice for cabinets in the garage. I have 10 foot ceilings out there. I had lots of school stuff, books, lots of books, and it accommodated them. And so far, the shelves haven't fallen down. So, I guess, it's not too heavy.

There's 10 cabinets out there. Some of them go all the way up, like 8 feet. And then there's only one of them that is short because they've got the solar and all that stuff out there. And you have to work around it.

She was good about figuring out what could go. And we couldn't make it too deep, so we could still get the cars in and all that good stuff. I just have a few things out there to put away and it will be done.

The installation process is fine. They came out three different times. Actually, the second install, people were the most friendly and helpful.

Everybody was fine. One person did one job, and the other person did the other job. And then they came together when they needed to to lift things and all that. It was pretty efficient.

I've already told my daughter who has stuff stuck up in the attic, and that she really needs to get these people to her house.

The only thing that was a little frustrating was that I was having a lot done. And it's that two-week period, from the time that I ordered it with a consultant and then they came, and I understand.

But I was just in a hurry because this is a brand new house and I had piles of stuff in my garage. It was the time factor. And when you talk about doing quite a bit, two weeks isn't that much. Of course, there's a lot of other people out there getting it also.

I told the designer that my husband didni't want me to have it because we thought it was too expensive, but she kept bringing it down, helping us get to a price that we wanted to pay. She was very persistent but very nice, and I really liked her.

Only one guy came to install, Miguel. I was upset because it seemed like a lot of work just for one person, but he was really good. He put it all together in six hours. I really liked him.

Quality is very good, places for my clothes and my long clothes, lots of shelves for me to put my shoes, and a hamper. I really like that.

I like the system, but I was not happy with the install. The people who came out here could have done a better job. They rushed it and didn't take time to be methodical. Everything else is great but the bottom portion. When you walk right into the closet and you look at the floor, you see the boards are going upward. They're okay at one end, but where they put in the boards against the wall with the shelves is sloppy. I paid a lot of money to have my baseboard upgraded, and they damaged it putting in their system. They just left it like that. Fix it! Don't make me get upset and make me chase you down.

I called them up to come back out and make it look normal. They didn't even want to deal with me. I had to call the lady that came over and helped us, the one who sold me the system. She was very pleasant. They would not have come, but she got them out here. It's fair, they just put caulking and left. That's it. I know this is not a perfect world, but do better, that's all I ask.

We had installed it in a large closet, we had shelves on. There were two spaces in the same closet. On one side, we had shelves and hangers, and on the other side, we had mostly hangers with a little bit of drawers.

The person who did the installation was very professional. There was a small hiccup where the contract said that we were going to get soft-close drawers. And on the initial installation, it wasn't installed that way.

So, they scheduled a second installation date and fixed that up for us at no additional cost. We're very happy with the quality. It was definitely much better than the previous do-it-yourself installation that was there. And we definitely intend to enjoy the closet in its current state for at least a few years.

I would say that you definitely get what you pay for. The market rate for renovations is quite expensive these days, but the level of professionalism and quality that they delivered was exactly what I expected.

The soft-close drawers are my favorite, they’re very nice. We paid a little bit extra to get beveled edges on the shelves themselves, and it just looks and feels very nice.

The designers are really great and the installers are top-notch. They know their stuff and they do a great job. Compared to our other projects, the quality was equally as high. The installers took out some of the old shelving that the builder had put in and then also the closet. They took a little extra step and they patched the holes that were left from removing the old stuff, which was very nice. The product that they put in was great. I was really happy with it. We could actually really use the space how we really would like to. The shelves are adjustable and they’re a lot more stable. We're very pleased.

Closet World had a 50% off coupon and a little bit more on top of that. The designer said, "I'm gonna talk to the office about getting you a repeat client discount and stuff." Plus, there was some deferred financing through Wells Fargo. Closet World is very competitive in the industry. They really put forth what they're offering in terms of discounts plus deferred financing. It was really nice.

It’s very nice, though it was very expensive. I saw an advertisement with different discounts on different items, which caught my attention. I said “Okay, let’s go see what it’s like.”

It was absolutely wonderful. However, the poor guy kept getting interrupted every time. The first person I spoke with was a lovely lady. She showed me a sample of the closet, which was bigger than a standard closet, and how it could fit cabinets above my washer and dryer. She was wonderful.

He said, I can’t even do small ones. It's not going to work. I told him I didn’t think so either. Then he suggested putting in some nice shelving and showed it to me what it would look like. I had old boards up there before, so he basically recommended the same idea, just done much nicer and neater. I absolutely love it, and it works perfectly.

Then came the linen closet, a tall six- to eight-foot opening filled with wire racks. The bottom rack was two to three feet off the floor, and at 73, I couldn’t easily reach it anymore. So I decided to do it.

I had very deep drawers, 22 inches, the full depth of the closet. That’s exactly what I wanted. A big, thick, and deep door. I got four of them, and I love them. People see them and ask how I get this. It’s wonderful and the hardware is beautiful.

I’m sure some people would have been very upset, but everyone was nice. It wasn’t his fault, he was working with what he was given. My only thing is that, in the beginning, the woman who spent three hours at my house might have realized it wasn’t going to work based on what I was saying. It could’ve saved some time.

Everyone was very nice. Even though the install had a few bumps, I love it and would do it again. I'm considering doing the closet in my bedroom, it’s wall to wall, and I’d like to get rid of the mirrors. But that’s a 2026 project. I only do one project a year, and I’m done for 2025. I’ll definitely go back to Closet World.

The installers worked very fast and they got everything done. They were neat and didn’t leave a big mess. But I hope there was a little more organization. In terms of pricing, they always seem to have a sale on installation so I felt like it was a reasonable price.

The installation was okay. They set a time to come and install the cabinet, but they did not tell us it would take five hours. I think Closet World outsourced the installation to a third party and left it to them for cost and all that. The third party optimized it and sent only one person. If more people had come, they could have finished the job faster.

We had plans to go out that day, but this guy turned up in the morning and took 5 hours to install the whole cabinet, so we were in a fix. Other than that, everything else was okay. I really liked the product and the salesman. The customer service was very professional. I don’t have any complaints.

The quality is so good. I’m having another cabinet installed next week on the same wall. We realized there's room for a 3-foot cabinet, so we’re gonna go and do that. I’m very impressed with how they put the metal band along the front of the shelves to prevent warping.

She also gave some options, and came back the next day to finalize the deal, with my girlfriend being there, so we could see everything together.

After 3 weeks, the installation began. It was done in one day. When they got finished, I was a little underwhelmed with the results. It wasn't what I envisioned and pictured. When I started looking at the paperwork more closely, there was no back wall, and I had these wire racks.

The installer said that when he takes those out, there's gonna be holes in the wall. Then I said it’s fine, but I'm thinking he's covering these up, so I don't really care.

I feel there's an option for a back wall, but we never discussed this. And it was never even brought as an option. I would absolutely have said that I want a laminate in the back to close it off to give it that finished look. So I spent the weekend trying to put one in myself.

I basically had to disassemble everything they did, put a wall behind it, and put it all back, which is one problem. The second problem was the paperwork. It has been marked as no problem with any electrical being in the way.

My light switch is on the left-hand side of the closet. When the installer went to put it in, they had brought the cabinet so far over that they disconnected my light switch and slid it off to the side by a few inches.

They tried to cut the plate that goes over to put it back over the top, but it's not mounted properly. It's like sitting at the side of the hole. It would fit fine if you had taken an inch off or two inches off one of the sections of the shelves.

But now I've got potentially a safety hazard because the light switch is sitting against the wall. It's not in the middle of the receptacle hole any longer. And there's no cover over it.

So I wanted to call them today because I just sent an email last night, telling them that I was disappointed with everything.

It seems like it's a good quality product. But not having a back wall behind it just doesn't look like a finished thing. And for $6,000, I don't feel like I got my money's worth out of it.

The installation was good, but there were delays because we found out that there were mistakes made in the paperwork, and things got a little confusing and frustrating. I had to make over a dozen phone calls, but my designer was not helpful. She just kept saying it wasn’t anything she could help with since it was a different department, even though it was originally her mistake that led to the delay.

The product itself was good, but we did not get everything we had ordered. We also asked for a valet rod to be installed, which was not. When I reached out to my designer, she said it wasn’t her problem, she couldn’t get my money back, and that I would have to call. At that point, I was frustrated and dropped it. The work that was done was nice, but we wish we had received everything we paid for.

When the designer came out, she looked at the space that we wanted to put the unit in, and took measurements. The designer had asked us what we were looking for ahead of time. We told her what we were looking for and then she showed us some stuff in the booklet. We saw what was there and then we agreed upon what we were looking for. Then she did a full write-up, a drawing of what we had talked about, and presented it to us. It met what we were looking to do.

The turnaround time from the presentation to installation was two weeks. Then there was a hiccup on the measurements the first time and that delayed us a week. But in the end, we got the end product that we purchased. They were very proactive in getting everything resolved. It just took a week longer than we wanted.

Unfortunately, the measurements were off when the installers came out the first time. We had two outlets on the wall and it so happened that those outlets fell right on the edge of where the cabinets would be at. They had to make some adjustments and move the cabinet over. They basically had to redesign the cabinets to make them fit where the outlets were at. Otherwise, I'd have to move the outlets from where they were at in the wall and that's typically a little more difficult.

It's a little overpriced. But the finished product is nice. They're doing exactly what we want them to do, so that part's good. They're durable and a lot thicker than I was expecting. That's a plus. They're definitely a lot more heavy-duty than a regular cabinet would have been. The drawers are much thicker and more sturdy, which is good because I have a bunch of boys and they're rough on stuff. That's gonna make it last a bit longer.

I just moved back to my home. It was built in '72 and didn't have a lot of storage space, so I needed the work done. The lady who came out, Melissa, was very nice. That visit was very pleasant. The installation a couple of weeks after went fine. It worked with my schedule. It was pretty quick and fast, and it was done very professionally. The guy cleaned up pretty well.

Everyone was really nice. I would recommend Closet World.

The thing that annoys me the most about working with contractors is when they don't make their appointments without calling. But Closet World was perfect in every respect. Their customer service was very good. And I love the quality of the closets.

But if it was my wife, I have a feeling she would have canceled it. It was just a communication gap. Their service was good, and they were professional. It was a little expensive at $20,000. But with the 50% discount, I ended up paying $12,000. I will call Closet World again because we're thinking of getting our closet in the garage done as well if they do that too. We haven't fully decided yet.

At this point, it was very "used car salesman" like. We were reluctant to put money down because the design wasn't what we wanted. She said, "We can always change things, but that has an unknown cost." When we weren't willing to commit to put the money down, she seemed annoyed. We asked her if she wanted to continue to rework the design but she was not interested and didn't want to spend any more time on it. Very disappointing experience and I would expect better service if you're expecting us to pay almost $10,000.

The designer was very knowledgeable but didn't really hear my concerns. When the initial install was done, it was incorrect. It was too small. There was a miscommunication between the both of us. But I explained to her what I needed and I based my acceptance on her knowledge.

The first time, they installed it completely but it was too small. I needed 16 inches wide. It was only 12 inches wide. So they had to come out and remeasure. They had to initiate another contract at my expense, unfortunately. They had to come in and reinstall wider panels and shelves. March 21st was my first installation. The final installation was the 4th of April. They even had the wrong panels. They had to stop the installation and reorder new panels and shelving to make the unit work. So it took three installation dates to complete my design. It wasn't a fun experience. I had to disconnect my internet three times because that's where all my cables were.

The gentleman that came was William. He was very sweet, compassionate, and understanding. He did his job as it was told, so he was perfectly fine. It was their installation department that I felt was a runaround, because I was told I'd be called back and I never got called back.

It was basically, "Well, why don't you try this?" "Well, hang your TV on the wall." I didn’t wanna hang my TV on the wall. I wanted to put my TV on my unit that I designed. I told the designer exactly what I needed and what needed to be on there. Yes, she measured the way she measured. Did I see how she was measuring? Yes. But what I needed was something different in length. But it was out-of-pocket for me again. It was another $1,600 that I had to pay for them to rectify miscommunication between myself and the knowledgeable of the designer.

Their prices are really expensive. I have four doors and that was gonna cost me $2,000 because it had glass. So I opted to take the doors without glass. I have a nephew who has a window and doors company and will do the glass for me for 100 bucks.

The compensation was unacceptable. They said because I signed the contract the first time, which was $4,900 and I accepted the install, there was no compensation for that. The second contract was almost $1,600 and the initial offer was $100. That's not fair. Finally, we came to some type of agreement and they are to give me $400 refund which I have yet to see. They should have given me a percentage of my entire order and make it worth my while to wanna come back. Will I ever go back? No.

The person who came to give us the quote and design was very helpful and friendly, and she had a good knowledge of all the material. What we did was just adding storage units in the garage. They’re sturdy, I can put a lot of weight on them, and it’s done well. I really like it and the quality is good.

They’re a bit expensive, but they did a good job and I would highly recommend using Closet World.

I would recommend to go over every detail before signing the contract. I didn't know that I had signed my contract with no vacuum. I was upset about that because we didn't go over that.

The price was also high. I originally wanted my design with doors. But because the price was so high, I had to go with no doors. But if I can get someone to come out and give me a good price for the doors, I would definitely use you guys again. Besides that, I really didn't have any other issues.

The installation team did a good job, but they didn’t finish the cleaning. There was a lot of sawdust around that I had to vacuum up. There was one part that had a piece of molding that’s not connected, it’s in place, but I can just pull it out, and the other pieces are cinched in.

I called them about that, and the representative asked me to send a picture. I sent a picture, but nobody came out and I haven’t heard anything back. It has been a couple of weeks.

Their reps got the idea of what we want in our closet which is something functional. The installation was quick. It only took them a few hours to finish everything. The quality is great. It's just what we need. I love it.

I had them come out again, the sales visit was perfectly fine. Installation took a couple of days after the sales contract was signed. They did the installation in just one day, and it was excellent.

My husband and I made multiple phone calls and were told our order is still pending and no installation date could be given. We even ask Karla to help us and she told us she can’t get a hold of anybody to give a date. We got fed up and decided to just cancel the order. Again we were told that in order to do this we need to speak to a manager. We never got a call from anyone after multiple phone calls. We finally decided to dispute the down payment amount through our credit card. Needless to say that we didn’t expect this from a company like Closet World. We are so disappointed and just wanted to share our experience. I see some great reviews and I wish our experience was different.

I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the service I received during the recent installation process at my property. I had a series of concerns that I feel need to be addressed in order to prevent future issues for other customers. Firstly, when I spoke to the installer manager, I was informed that they were unfamiliar with the designer involved in my project and that the designer often makes mistakes. I was shocked to learn that these errors had already resulted in an additional cost of $500 to me. The conversation I had with the designer was completely different from what was actually attempted during installation, which left me very disappointed. I feel as though I was misled during the process.

I now realize that I should have read the fine print of the contract carefully rather than solely trusting their word. This oversight has unfortunately cost me additional money and caused confusion during the installation. Upon completion of the installation, I noticed significant gaps between the wall and the installation. When I inquired about this, I was informed that my wall was "not squared," and that nothing could be done to rectify the issue. While I understand that some things are out of their control, the lack of effort to find a solution was incredibly frustrating. It seemed that there was no genuine passion or commitment to providing quality service—just a “too bad, so sad” attitude.

Additionally, the installer advised us not to put a lot of items in the cabinet, suggesting that it might break under the weight. This was surprising, as the cabinet is quite large, and for them to imply that it won’t hold much makes no sense. If the cabinet is not built to hold a reasonable amount of weight, it reflects poor quality or a lack of proper craftsmanship. To make matters worse, the receptionist or dispatch department was not customer-service oriented at all. The installer actually had to go back and fix a couple of things just because he wanted to make sure everything closed perfectly. I love it. We’re functional now. Overall, the installation was great.

His name is Milad, and he brought it up before installing the closet. He asked what I thought, and I told him that something seemed faulty in the design. The measurements the designer took did not include the whole wall. He had to push the sides and cover the part that was not covered. Thankfully, the installer did a good job.

We truly enjoy him asking questions and making sure we liked everything. He took us step by step of what was designed and what he was gonna do. He was also very patient with me as I was changing my mind about some things he had to change. He was very, very professional.

The quality of the closet is good, but I remembered that one of the rods fell off. My husband said it wasn’t secured because we didn’t think the installer was going to finalize the location yet and that he was gonna change it. Other than that, everything looks fine. If it’s not secured with the screws, it would fall off.

I had a closet with drawers installed in my walk-in. They were able to schedule us at a really good pace, and I didn’t have to wait very long. There was a lot of flexibility in the scheduling, and they worked around what worked for my schedule. They were very communicative and told me exactly the time frame. They were on spot, and I didn’t have to wait for anybody. The installation was fast, clean, and efficient.

We love the closet. It’s functional, it does what we need it to do, and it’s perfect.

My experience with the customer service was terrible. When I called to find out the technician’s arrival time, I was told they usually tell their clients between 4:00 and 5:00 the day before. They called back and said the technician would arrive between 1:00 and 3:00. I explained I had to pick up my kids between 2:35 and 2:50, but the first person I talked to didn’t want to hear it and kept talking over me, wouldn't let me get a word in edgewise. Then she transferred me to a supervisor, who did the same thing.

I asked what we could do, but he said he could only have them wait 15 minutes, but I couldn’t guarantee I’d be back since I was just picking up my kids. When I explained that the school dismissal time isn’t consistent because I just moved to the area, he said it should be consistent, which didn’t feel professional. I asked if they could come at 1:00, but he said he couldn’t predict traffic. When I requested a different appointment, he mentioned a 10% reschedule fee.

I was just trying to work something out because I have to get my kids. Then, he screamed at me and said, “What do you want me to do, ma’am?” I asked if they could come in the morning instead, and after putting me on hold for about five minutes, he found a resolution. Instead of going through all of that, they could have just offered a morning appointment straight off the bat. That would have been more professional and would have left me more satisfied. Their regional manager has reached out after I submitted a Yelp review, so I talked to him already as well.

The quality of the product is okay, but again, their communication and deliverance stink. We have that problem constantly. They came out three times to try to resolve a problem, but they never came with the correct product. I will never use Closet World ever, ever again.

I paid immediately, and they came within two weeks. They do what they gotta do. Good work and good quality materials.

The guys who did the installation were great. The first time, they forgot to bring some of the parts. I had two pull-out drawers in one of the cabinets that I wanted, and unfortunately one of the guys forgot the drawers, so they needed to come back and install them. It took them a total of eight hours to do the install. The people who came in were super attentive. They checked with me first before they started to make sure what the goal was, and then checked with me again when they were done to make sure that I was satisfied.

The quality of the work done was great, but I had a little bit of an issue with one of the shelves. It was messed up a little bit. I told the first guy about it, and when they came back to install the drawers, they replaced that shelf for me.

She went through all the different styles they had. When I chose the mirrored sliding one, she told me the types and showed me the basic one. It works nice and it looks nice. She also left a booklet I could look through in case I need anything for the closet.

The one who did the installation did a beautiful job. He did it pretty fast, too. He was very professional, and came by himself, removing and lifting the really heavy wooden doors, saying they do it all the time. He told me to make sure to keep dusting the tracks so it doesn’t jam. He also told me I have a warranty. Part of the payment is they’d take the doors away, and he did.

He explained some things that I didn't even know, so I was very happy. I felt very comfortable. They've also called back and made sure that everything's okay.

I got a pretty good deal because I did look around, and they were doing 50% off right after the holidays. That's why I contacted them, or it would have cost more. And I'm happy with it because I've been wanting to do this.

The closet that I wanted was half office and half home closet. The guy really had to work to try to make it all work for me. But I have hanging closet on the right side, 30-inch shelves floor to ceiling in the center. And then on the left side, I have two big office file drawers and I have a pullout shelf that is my computer printer, which is nice. And then, I have a drawer just for the supplies like my ink and my paper and all that. It's perfect. He did an absolute perfect job. It couldn't be better.

The quality is excellent. Everything looks perfect. I asked the guy if he would put a little baseboard finishing on the bottom. He went out to the truck and did that and it really made it look finished. It looks beautiful.

The salesperson was super friendly. He even called to combine the office and the home stuff I wanted and it turned out absolutely perfect. I couldn't have had a better outcome, because I didn't want the file cabinet and my printer outside, so it's great having it in the closet. And when I hit to print, it even prints with the door closed. It's really great. So I couldn't have had a better experience with the installer or the salesperson. They exceeded my expectations.

It turns out the board used was narrower (12 inches instead of 18 inches), causing this inconvenience. Despite the installer doing a good job, the final result wasn't what we anticipated.

The installation was terrible. I had to take pictures and send them back to the supervisor. The installers came back out to do some repairs because they cut the track too short. The door wouldn’t close all the way, so they also had to fix that. I had to find somebody that does drywall repair, and I just sent them the receipt for that. I can’t recommend them to anybody.

Now, there's more space because it goes all the way up to the top and it’s more usable. I have two shelves at the top and a room to put in all my jackets. And down below, I have four additional shelves and they're deep. So my shoes are going in there. It's great. We didn't do the rest of the projects that we had in mind due to budget constraints. I wish I would have negotiated a little bit more on the cost, but I like it. We're happy with it.

I let them know right away and the cabinet guy said he would tell the chief. He called me back and said I needed to pay $400 more. This was already a do-over twice their mistake and they wanted me to pay, so they weren't helpful. They’re not willing to fix it, and that's not right. If the mistake is on someone else, then it should be corrected, and apologize for the inconvenience. They have to come out and not charge me the time that it's gonna take them to address the issue. And I felt bad for her because she kept making mistakes, but when you're doing it by hand with a ruler and a calculator, it's 2.7 plus 4.9 times the dollar amount. There's so much human margin of error in the process that Closet World has that I didn't see with California closets and I wish I had done something different.

My other issue is the outgassing is horrible. I have to hold my breath to walk in my closet to get my underwear, grab my clothes, walk out and breathe ‘cause it smells so bad. I don't know what's in their wood. I should have a piece tested because it's so intense. We have to ventilate the room, and it's a problem. The MDF board that they're using is heavily laden with chemicals. It’s smelly and unhealthy. Pressed MDF board is what I believe they use. From what I read off of Wikipedia, MDF boards can release harmful chemicals such as formaldehyde, carbon monoxide, hydrogen, cyanide, and phenol.

The install date was great and they showed up on time. I had to change the date because I was getting some other work done and they were amenable to that. Everything was super organized. Never had any issues with that. They came in and they quickly knocked it out. The only thing was they brought the wrong piece for our hamper, but they coordinated with the company and dropped it off a couple of days later. The whole installation only took three hours. I would tell people to use Closet World because they're fantastic.

They left the closet doors that they put in all dusty and fingerprinted. They didn’t even clean their work, and they dinged my ceiling. I’m in a big problem, I can’t fix the ceiling without painting the entire thing. So I’m very disgruntled.

Now they’re finally corrected it, and they’re fine. But it’s been months because every time they had to reorder the doors, it was three more weeks. They didn’t always send out somebody that knew what they were doing. I’m still dealing with them right now over the ceiling.

They know their stuff. Everything was done in a professional, efficient manner. My consultant was helpful, insightful and very nice. She helped me get my thoughts together with the design by asking smart questions. She was really good.

They were here at 9 a.m. and were gone by 2 p.m. They did everything – took all the old stuff out, cut the wood, put in everything new and made adjustments. They installed it perfectly. My walk-in closet is sturdy and the quality is good. When they left, they had swept the closet, and it was ready to go.

They organized it with shelving, a small section for hanging clothes, cubbies for folded clothes and deep drawers. I have a whole shoe wall – my favorite feature. It has adjustable shelves and is sectioned into four. I've got my little closet island for putting all my purses in. That's a little piece of my house that's mine.

The cost is expensive for an average person. It is probably justifiable, but it could be a little bit more affordable.

When Closet World came to do the measurements and the installation, they were also very professional. Initially, they gave us a time, then they called to confirm by text, call, and email so we knew that it was set. My husband was here and the two gentlemen arrived on time, came in and took care of their business. I was not home when they arrived, but when I came in, they still stopped and introduced themselves. That's very important to me because I work from home.

When I went up, they showed me what they were doing. One guy was cutting in the driveway and the other guy was installing upstairs. They walked through everything with my husband and they showed us where the wall was not straight. They explained that that's why the closet is not going to meet the wall in all places. We had baseboards in and they were going to cut them out a notch, but they ended up taking them off. They explained why they couldn't do the original intent as well. I was very pleased with everything. The closet renovation took less than three hours and the quality of work was very good.

When we bought the house, the closet we had was smaller and it was not functional. It was almost like a plank across one wall, some folders, and then some built-in shelves. It didn't hold a lot of clothes. It was just one rack and there was a lot of space that was wasted in there. My husband's belongings weren't even in the closet, so our goal was to have something bigger and organized to where he could also share a closet with me. We extended our closet out two feet, and now, we have shoe shelving, double rows of hanging, and the far wall has drawers and shelves. At either side is the area for the long hanging and there's a shelf up top where we can have space to utilize. I have a lot of shoes, so we're also utilizing some of that for shoes and for photo bins that we can put up there. All in all, quality and interaction are very important to me and Closet World had both of those top-notch.

What I like about Closet World is they have a very diverse selection of products, from some relatively inexpensive to the expensive, but it's all high quality and it's custom. They have so many options for hardware and it's very nice. Compared to others that I've seen for the same amount, it's cheaper. Especially when they have those sales, there's 50% off or 40% off and free installation. However, they used to have an online catalog. That was years ago and now they don't have it.

The rep was sweet, listened to me, and incorporated what I wanted into the design of the closet. During the installation, we had a slight problem. There was something on the wall that I and the installers didn't know, and the designer didn't realize because I had clothes hanging in there. The closet had to be redesigned on the spot and that was a big pain, but they worked with me and showed me exactly what it was gonna be like. It turned out great and I'm very happy. I like the closet as well as Closet World. The quality is good too. It seems to be almost the exact same materials from California Closets. I had those for years and they held up, so I'm assuming this will do as well.

I understand everything costs more now because Trump did not address the pandemic well, and it screwed up everything in the economy. That's not on Closet World. Overall, I was very happy with Closet World, but people have to be very specific about what they want on the design and they have to be persistent if they're not happy with the results. I have the tenacity of a pit bull, and I had to call and email multiple times before I got through to somebody.
