Closet World did a closet remodel for me and I had a very good experience.The designer was cool and their installers were the bomb. They were awesome. I will be calling them to get some more work done. I hope it's from the same person who did my original work. I've already recommended them.

We had an interior designer who had clients that used Closet World before and they seemed satisfied with them. I had some bookshelves in one of our rooms and some shelving in our garage installed by them. We had worked with two designers. The first one quit so the second designer finished it up. The first project, the one in the garage, was easy. The bookshelves were more difficult. Their guys had to come back three times before they were able to complete it. They went back and forth trying to get everything up to my standard. They also started with the bookshelves late in the afternoon. They started with one guy at around 4:00 in the afternoon and then brought in a second guy and they didn’t finish until 8:00. They should have had two guys starting at the beginning of the day. But in the end, it came out all right. I had a good experience overall.

We thought that Closet World was a pretty big organization and that they knew what they were doing. They did a closet area for us and the designer was pushy and talked us out of what we wanted. Then the installation was awful. The installers were late, left trash behind everywhere and it was supposed to be a five-to-six-hour job but it turned into five days over five weeks that our house was torn up. So, all in all, it’s an absolutely miserable experience. We went to two or three layers with their management and nobody wanted to help us make anything right.

My husband already had stuff done by Closet World in our previous home before. We most recently had them for a closet and the designer was great. The installer was really good too and made sure everything was clean.

We called a couple companies and from talking with the Closet World people on the phone, they seemed like the better choice. And their price was fair if I compared it with others. They installed a bedroom closet for us. Everybody was polite and the job was done on time and professionally. The designer was pretty good. He was clear and worked with us on the pricing. The salesman explained all the options, however, he should've mentioned that there was an extra fee of $50 to take away the junk from the old closet. The installer did an acceptable job with moving the stuff off to the side and it wasn't strewn all over the place but I wish I would have known about the charge because there were nails and old screws sticking out.

We had a house we were rebuilding and we gutted everything out. And then we had made one of the rooms bigger where we made our closet. But I still didn’t have an idea of how I wanted it inside, so I called Closet World. The designer was nice and the installer worked pretty fast and was here on time. However, it was pricey.

We thought we have what used to be Garage Envy system in our garage of the house we bought and I was trying to get more accessory rack parts like hooks and pieces to stick on it to hang things off. In looking for Garage Envy, they took me to Closet World. And then, the designer came out and walked through with me, and told me what I needed to do and showed me the catalog and things I could get. She was very professional and a good representative for the company. They didn’t have to do any installation because we already had the system within the house we bought. They just mailed me the order once I placed it.and I was happy with every step of the process.

A friend referred us to Closet World. They installed a bedroom closet for us and we had basic shelving done. We liked the designer and the installation team was good. They did everything well and it was overall very positive.

I had some coupons and Closet World's designer came to my home at my convenience to help me so I went with them. But they overpriced it and then did huge discounts so I'm a little skeptical about that. They offered me a good discount but I am pretty sure I could have gotten more. The installation was okay but I won't hire them again.

I had three closets and some cabinetry installed by Closet World. The designer was very amazing and nice, but every single cabinet was wrong and every single closet I had installed had a problem. I had to have people come back several times to fix it. I had to miss a bunch of work to wait for contractors, who one of them was late and literally didn’t show up until 30 minutes before construction had to stop in my complex. And the worst part was the customer service. No one cared, or tried to help me and remedy the situation, or offer any kind of discount. I called several times. I went online to see what kind of reviews they had and saw 1 and 2 stars on almost every site. I am kicking myself that I didn’t do my due diligence before hiring this company. I’m an owner of a construction company wherein I was going to use them for other jobs. It was the worst experience and I was extremely dissatisfied.

We had a garage remodeled into a living space and Closet World installed a closet that was pretty big about 17 or 18 feet long. There was no fuss, no muss with the installation team. I'm happy with the closet. Its shelving is nice and it looks good. It's everything we designed and they did a great job.

I tried California Closets but Closet World was a little cheaper. I had a walk-in closet done and then also an external pantry put in. The designers had three different designs and some good ideas. They worked with me and were all very good. It also worked out pretty well with the installation team. There were issues where they forgot some parts but they brought them back later. They followed up with what little mistakes they may have made and fixed them all. I'll definitely use Closet World again. They're a good company.

I purchased almost $5,000 worth of closet organizers from Closet World. The bedrooms were done first and they had to come back and do the garage. The master bedroom was an issue since they didn't finish the way that they were supposed to. They were supposed to give me the bottom additional hanging area but they gave me the shelf, which didn't have enough room to hang my clothes. When I called, they said they'll send the guys back to extend that part a little and give me a hanging rod. They also said if they didn’t come sooner than the second appointment, when they come to do the garage they would definitely have the material to correct the master bedroom closet. The area wasn't done properly so when they came for the garage, I asked them about the situation and to finish the master closet first. But they had no idea and they didn't have the proper material so they weren't able to fix it.

Closet World helped me with my garage. But one major drawback was they didn't show up at all on some appointments wherein they should have. It happened more than twice or thrice and that really frustrated me. We had good interaction with the designer but she was not so knowledgeable. We had to tell her how we wanted the design. Then she didn't give the design to the installer and that delayed us for almost two months. Other than that, their price was cheaper compared to the other companies.

We had a garage and a master bedroom closet installed by Closet World. Their designer was very friendly. She knew what she was talking about and how to sell her products. After we spoke to her, we didn't want to do any other estimates and just went for it. The first team came in really late and left the actual cabinets. My area's dark and when they were cutting the pieces of wood, they left chipped wood all over the closet. So it wasn't a good experience, but we paid too much money for it. Maybe they should have come in when it was daylight. I had to lend them my nightstand lamp for them to see what they were doing. They need more professionalism when it comes to that type of business. But my husband insisted on giving it another try when we did the garage and that team did a good job.

We've been in Vegas for a while, so we know that Closet World has been here for a while, too. We had them install a closet recently. I was always satisfied in my interactions with the designer. There was no problem at all and everything was fine. It was also fine with the installation team, but there was a minor problem. I called the local office here, and they came and they took care of it. Nevertheless, Closet World did a good job overall.

I spent a few minutes here and there trying to figure out which build-it-yourself cabinets already made could work if I reinforced them and would fit in the right location because over the years they’ve gotten smaller, cheaper, thinner, and weaker. What made us go with Closet World was their pricing and their design, which was a combination of the durability. I prefer to design my own stuff and install it, but my wife wanted me to have the time off because of how busy my schedule is. Also, their stuff was built strong enough to what I would need, and they were gonna build it to fit.

Closet World had done some work in a previous house so I knew they would do a good job. I did just a closet with them this time and everything was taken care of. The designer was really good and the installation guy was very efficient and did a good job. I recommend Closet World to a friend.

We needed to get things done right away and it was Closet World's speed that was able to get the remodeling done. They managed to get everything done in two weeks when everybody else was quoting us six months. It was interesting though because we saw a lot of other pitches from other companies and Closet World seemed to be the least tech savvy in terms of the tools that were provided to them. They were just using grass paper and so, I was a little concerned in the beginning. But then, it ended up not really being an issue and they gave us the delivery time that we needed so we chose the grass paper pitch over the others.

I explored the possibility of working with Closet World and the quote I got from them was fair based on my knowledge of the marketplace. I had a closet for my daughter put into her room that includes shelving, coat hangers, and a three-drawer system. Then, I also had a desk along with some other cabinetry on one wall of my master bedroom to allow me to have a workspace.

Closet World offered a free estimate and that's what made me go with them over other closet remodel company. I had them do a closet remodel and it was good interacting with the designer. The installation team set everything up for me too. I'll be calling them soon again because I'm going to get more shelves.

We did six houses and got the closets from Closet World. I told the installation team to wear booties but they didn't do it. They dirtied the carpet in more than one unit, which I was about to call the company so they could send the supervisor to see. They're going to have to pay for washing the carpet. Nevertheless, the installation was fine.

Closet World had a 50% off of a cabinet promotion so I called them. Unfortunately, I had trouble with the designer who wasn't versed with measurements. She measured everything then gave me a quote. Then after a while, she called and asked for additional stuff. I told her to call back the next day but I never heard anything. Then the installers came in and were amazing. They showed up on time and were nice and professional. However, the measurements the designer gave them were incorrect so they had to go back, re-measure and put in the right length.

I’m really not too happy with Closet World. We did a lot better when we had the first one over in Sun City about three years ago. We were in Palm Desert, California and we called a couple of places and Closet World. The CW designer that came out was incredible. She was thorough and we liked her. We were spoiled by her. She did three closets and I had something added later on and she did a beautiful job. It’s quite a highlight of our home. But over here at Laguna Woods, the girl was very nice but she didn’t do well with me. We installed shelves and drawers in one closet and it turned out to be a couple of closets. Their installers realized that I wasn’t happy so they added a couple of things to make the closet better. They were really good but I would never recommend Closet World ever again.

We were happy with the product that Closet World did when we used them a couple of years ago so we used them again. We had new laundry room cabinets put in. The designer we had used prior had moved so they had a different designer come out and both were really helpful and knowledgeable. The last designer had some great ideas. We changed from what we decided to do first into something different by his recommendation and it worked out really good. We were really happy with that.

Closet World's offer was good and competitive. All the other companies' products sounded the same so I went with them. I had a fantastic experience with the designer who answered all my questions, gave us a great deal and made things happen quickly. The installer was good but there were a few issues that we've seen now. I've tried raising these to a supervisor but the company hasn't gotten back to me.

I knew Closet World the most, so I employed them to help me out with the closet, which was a little pricey. Working with the designer was great. The installation guy wasn't fully experienced. He had issues with one of the procedures doing the lock, but he figured it out. Overall, it was great and I appreciate everything.

Closet World has been around for years and it was referred to me so I got them to work on a shelf in a hanging space in the walk-in closet. The designer came and sat on my table and we designed it together. She was very receptive to what I was looking for and was able to draw it out pretty quickly. Then we finalized the cost and moved forward with the date for installation. The install went pretty well. They showed me how to adjust the shelf, which was good. The designer even sent me a thank you card, which was unexpected and really nice. So she was right on the ball with that follow-up. The only thing is just the cost was a little high. But other than that, it was good.

I'm a previous Closet World customer. The company is very good. I enjoyed their work. They’re a bit expensive but are on time then they do their job and leave. Their girls are very sweet and very knowledgeable in everything. They did whatever I want and are not pushy. Closet World put a master bedroom closet and I also redid a room that I had changed into a closet before because I like red. Their installers were very prompt, knew what they were doing and threw away whatever they needed to throw away. The work is very nice quality. I like the things that I've used so far.

I had Closet World come out for a consultation and my salesperson was really knowledgeable. Also, I thought their price was good. The installation team did a great job. They said it'll be two days to install but it was only one. They were in and out faster than they thought.

One of Closet World's salesladies has done my house a couple of times, and she's top-notch. She comes out, measures, and everything fits perfectly. This last time, I had her come out after a flood. She looked at the problem, then I got a garage conversion. There were a couple of things I didn't like, but they corrected them beautifully. The installers were very good, and did a quick and precise job.

I have two houses and in one house, Closet World did an installation about 3 years ago. They installed in four or five rooms and a garage but it was not completed. We had a left over deposit with them and there’s a member from the service who was working with us and was supposed to work on it but I don’t know what happened. When we told them that we have a deposit, they never replied back. Nevertheless, we had a good experience that’s why we called them again when we bought a new house and they did a good job. The whole experience with the designer was also good.

The only closet closet company I know is Closet World, and I have dealt with them a few times. Last time, I had a master bedroom walk-in closet done. I wasn't happy with their designer then. They were late and I am upset. They were supposed to be there by 1:00 and by 1:30 they still weren't in my house. I had my father at the house sitting there waiting. I don't like that I have to call and check on people since I'm a busy person. I like people who do what they say. Other than that, I'm happy with everything else. The product is installed and it's fine. I am happy with them and I'm gonna call them back because I need two more closets done.

About eight years ago, Closet World installed a closet for me. I contacted them again for another one and the designer worked very well. However, there was a mix up because I originally called them on my landline phone for an appointment. Then when I called back to confirm it, I requested that I be contacted by the designer on my cellphone when she's on her way. Whoever took that message over the phone never relayed that so the designer was waiting at the property for over 30 minutes before I knew she was there. She was calling the landline and I was not at home. I ended up calling Closet World saying I had not heard from anyone and I didn't know if someone was coming. At that time they told me that the designer was at the property waiting for me. Other than that, I was very satisfied with the results of the closet and I would recommend them.

The person from Closet World was pleasant in the beginning. She said she would check back with me once the work was done but I never heard from her. After the work was done, I was not happy with it. I was disappointed with the price I paid for its quality, and design. My husband was so small and they did it so high. The quality of the closet was very cheap for the price I paid for. I told the people that installed that I’m not satisfied. He said that he followed the sketch but it was wrong. Basically, the guy talked back to me.

I have used Closet World in San Francisco. This time, I had closets and bookcases installed in my apartment. Their designer was excellent. She knows a lot and we’ve done three projects in this apartment. However, there was a follow-up from their installers because they didn’t cut something correctly in one of my projects. They didn’t have the right size shelf because it was cut in LA and we can’t do more of the cutting up here so I had to wait several weeks.

After I checked into Closet World, I really liked the people that I was working with. I had them install a bed that folds up into the wall and I also had two bedroom closets done. Their designer was amazing and she helped me decide what it was that I really wanted. She had an excellent level of knowledge. The guy who did the closets was amazing but the guy who did the bed spilled a box of screws and didn’t realize it. When I opened the bed the first time, everything fell out at the top. But it wasn’t a problem. They were really fast and were good. The closets are amazing and I love them. I’d do it again with Closet World.

Closet World pictures were really nice so I said that I'll do it. Their designer asked me what I wanted and I told him that I didn't want anything too fancy. He did a sketch and asked me if I liked it which I did, and then we made an appointment. The installer had to do all the stuff by himself so he took a few hours but it was fine. I installed a few hangers in our master bedroom closet so that I can have two rows of hanging and some shelves in the middle. It was really simple. My closet was good and I love it.

I liked Closet World's flyer which I received in the mail. They got a lot of designs of all kinds and I didn't even look around for more companies. They did my garage and I had a very good experience with their installation team. They were pretty friendly and I like them. I will buy from Closet World again.

Closet World has been around for a very long time, and they have some credibility. I had shelves installed in a small closet in the bedroom. Not just shelving but also a rod and shelving unit. The meeting with the designer was very pleasant. I like Malia a lot and I’ve actually called her back to do another closet. She’s super knowledgeable with a lot of really good recommendations that seem to work very well, which is great because our closets are so small. The installation was properly completed. The team was on time and they completed much quicker than I expected. It was a very pleasant, easy, low-effort experience overall.

I've used Closet World before and I like them. Recently, I had them do a garage wall that's 20 feet long and 8 feet tall. The designer was great but made a terrible mistake. The design was good but her elevations were off, which caused the closet in the garage to be off. There were two mistakes and I allowed one mistake to go, and merely adjusted it so that it worked, although I didn't like it. If it were in the house, the designer would have to do the entire wall again. However, the other mistake was that the closet was too big, so it wouldn't fit in the space and the installers had to come back to redo it, and it has cost a lot of materials for their company to do that. Moreover, my job was in Oxnard and they had to drive 150 miles to get there. Other than that, the installation guys were great, and everything else was good.

The designer from Closet World was great. We had our master bedroom closet done, and she guided me on what would work best in terms of dimensions and aesthetics. She was on time and did everything she said she would do. The installation was perfect. Although they had to reschedule twice, they were able to hold to their schedule then. It was a bit later in the day too, but that was okay as we were home. The installer was really quick in putting the closet together, and it was good. I was happy, and I would consider using them again for other closet projects.

I had a closet remodel from Closet World. The person that installed it did a great job although there were a few minor things. One of the doors that came was damaged, so he replaced the drawer shortly after the installation date and it ended up working out. But my husband says that sometimes he has a hard time shutting the drawers all the way.

We had a walk-in closet installed by Closet World in our master bedroom. The designer came to our house to do consultations and measurements. I’m loving my new closet, so far so good. The product is well-priced.

I had shelves and racks put in my closet and the designer from Closet World was very efficient, professional, knowledgeable and friendly. Everything came together as planned. The installers were in and out, did a good job and buffed the place clean.

We had some friends that had positive experiences with Closet World and the local mailer had a discount code, so we thought of consulting with them for a closet remodel. It was also all positive for us, from our interactions with the designer to our installation experience. But from a pricing standpoint, they’re not overly competitive. It is a little deceptive how they have their 40% off discount. Because when you compare them against competitors, it’s not really a 40% discount. They’re inflating their prices to fake give you a discount. I’d recommend them to a friend, but I would also tell the friend to price shop and to compare them against others more heavily.

I used Closet World before when I lived in Redondo Beach. I moved to Palm Desert and thought I'd use them again. However, my experience didn't seem to be as smooth as the previous one. The designer was very pleasant and knowledgeable. The one reason I decided to do this work is that the bar had fallen out of the original closet. However, the new bar fell down after I had hung up the clothes. I felt the measurements were slightly off. I was a little cranky because I paid a couple of thousand dollars to have something done and then it's not right. Then to get this fixed, I had to wait because their excuse was they were coming all the way in from the City of Industry. It's really not my problem if you want my business. But they were gracious to come back and fix the problem. The quality of the closet is fine after it was fixed. It's all set and I certainly give credit to everyone.

I had Closet World do my other home in Santa Clara before, and this last time we had them do a closet and a garage. Their designer was good. I explained what I wanted and she gave a few suggestions. The installers were good too. We tried to make as much room for them as possible and they said that helped. They're very professional and clean.

Hired Closet World because of the discount they offer. Their designer was good but the measurements were not correct so they needed to redo a couple of them. And after we ordered the product, it took a month to get here and another two weeks or so to deliver the correct measurements.

I had Closet World install closets in all the rooms and there were a lot of things I wanted them to do like clean or take away the old debris they were tearing down and do closet doors and tear down other walls. I wasn't aware they didn't do that. They said that they were going to charge me. They left the debris in my back because I thought for $75 we can just take it and there were some really good wood that we could reuse, but I was hoping they would just take everything. It was almost like they were charging me to pick better wood that I had in my closet than what was installed. Also, I thought it was going to be solid wood that was going to be placed in my closet, not particle board.

I am pleased with Closet World. They were my first one that I got a quote from. I really like the salesman who came in and did the demonstration and showed me what was best for us and giving us different offers, prices and demonstrations of what other stuff they can do. The only thing that I didn’t really like too much was that the guy who did the installation did not call me to ask what level I wanted my rods so my shirts won’t hang too low. He only called me when he was finished. My husband is big and tall so his shirts are long and the rods were placed lower than normal so right now, his shirts hit the bottom rail.

I did a little comparative shopping and among the 3 estimates I got, I went with Closet World. I had them do the interior of the bedroom closet and put a couple of racks in. The designer was a little gal who drew it up and sold me. She's terrific, really knew the business, gave me great ideas, and we were set up in no time. Then we let the installation guy in, and boom, he did it. I got what I wanted for a very good price, quickly done, and worth it. Everybody did everything when they said they were supposed to and it’s great.

The products I had installed by Closet World were really good. The design was what I was looking for and needed and so was the price. The installers were fast and cleaned up after. They cut some stuff outside and cleaned it up too. The designer was also extremely nice. He was able to come at 6:00 and stayed until about 8:00 till he was finished. He drew up three different samples and took the time to explain them to me. He was very courteous, and pleasant and knew a lot. I was able to explain to him what I needed and he was able to put that on paper. That’s why I went back the second time. Overall, it was a great experience and I would definitely recommend it to my family and friends.

I felt that ClosetWorld had the advantage of being able to offer good pricing and efficiency being a large company that's more established because they have a system and have worked out the bugs. I felt it was going to be able to offer quality and things that sometimes smaller companies may not be able to always offer. We had several closets done and had some that were regular basic closets for double hanging clothes for my son so he could hang more clothes and also for guests when they come. We also had need of having shelves and things in the office area so that we could have more efficient use of the space.

Friends' reviews say that Closet World is pretty good so I had three closet remodels done thru them. Everything went great and smooth with the designer. The experience with the installation team was good as well. Closet World's design is absolutely superb and I was very pleased.

The Closet World designer was good. She came back and she talked to both my husband and me which was great. There was a little back and forth about the width of the columns for the hangers and then the center column was drawers and shelves. It was confusing because they couldn’t estimate exactly how wide it would be depending on if they did a fixed shelf or not. Once the installer started working on it, it ended up being way too skinny. But he came and got me each time and I had him change it so it was solved. It took a little while, but it’s fine.

We contacted Closet World when we purchased our home two years ago. At the time, the quote we obtained from the designer was well outside our budget. The designer didn't offer any alternatives to the type of materials, finishes or options available so we opted to wait. This time, we contacted Closet World and the designer came out on schedule. She worked up a new design (I believe since it had been 2 years since the last one) and took our deposit. We were contacted shortly thereafter with an install date, which I appreciated very much. On the day of install, our appt. was changed from morning until the afternoon due to a sick call. Hey! It happens.

I saw an ad of Closet World that said that it was 50% off, free delivery and installation but it ended up being extremely expensive. They say free installation but they make up for that by charging an arm and a leg for the product. The finish also cost extra. But the doors, the face of the doors and drawers are very nice wood grain. The installers were also on time and very professional. However, looking at the producy after they had left, I’m definitely disappointed. There are gaps in some of the door cabinet that sits on top of the countertop. They also sent me an email asking for a response and I responded to them but haven't heard back from them. I would never use Closet World again.

I liked Closet World's ad in the newspaper. It was appealing plus I liked the special. The designer was very good. He had a high level of knowledge. The only regret I have is that I wasn't there when they installed the closet in the garage. I should have been there because they made the bar shorter and when I went to go use the closet, it wasn't conducive for my long dresses. So now because it's just me, it's hard to redo those things, but eventually I'm going to have them put another one in because I really need to and when I have the other one, I'll make sure I'm there when they install it so they could adjust all the stuff according to my needs.

I used Closet World before in a property in San Diego, so this is my second time using them. The designer dealt with my wife because I sent the family back to California ahead of me to the home so my son can start school on time. I was interacting with her on the phone to get the closet design set up right. I know that some things get lost in translation when talking on the phone and I consider myself a fairly good communicator, but we still don't have restitution on the install despite about three different phone calls with the designer and she has washed her hands off it. Even when the installer showed up, they said the design was off. The closet is already paid for but it’s a faulty design and install that I'm trying to find a resolution on.

I was doing some research online for closets and came across Closet World. They felt right from the very beginning. They answered the phone quickly when I called and they seemed to be organized in putting me through the right person to talk to. I got estimates from other companies and Closet World was slightly more expensive, but they had good service and they were responsive. The designer came in and spent a lot more time than their competitors. Her drawing was better than the others as well. It looked almost like a picture, and it was so detailed that it made us feel better. We then had them install a closet in the garage.

ClosetWorld had the ability to meet my specifications more closely than the other company I looked at. I had two 36-inch-wide cabinets that go from about 42 inches off the ground to the ceiling. And then, underneath these are two sets of two 36-inch drawers and then a set of two 42-inch drawers that went underneath the window all in one wall. They were white with molding and had the oil rubbed bronze, 11-inch handle. The designer came in and we reviewed my design preferences. I designed the closet first then she made suggestions to make it more affordable and look better. She was really nice, easy to work with and the best. The installer was really very friendly. He came in and did his job.

A friend told me about Closet World, and I decided to use them because of the offers they had. Everything in the garage was done quickly and all got done as per the contract. We had no problem during installation.

I hired Closet World for a large customized master bedroom closet because I had a vague feeling that they had a good reputation, which turned out to be completely wrong. The designer was perfectly fine and was very nice and reasonably knowledgeable. She took a rather expensively long time when she came out. The original installation was horrific and I was left speechless. It was unbelievable. The closet was horrible, tacky, and looked cheap, which it was not. Closet World finally got it up to barely acceptable over seven additional installation days, which were not even consecutive days because they can't schedule to come back to fix their messes the next day so this took place over a period of six weeks.

I didn't wanna go with the slow service at Home Depot so I went with Closet World. The designer I spoke with was wonderful. She was calm, very professional nice and clean. The installer was also very helpful. He took four hours to put my closet in the second floor. One of the base boards was coddled too much so there seems like a little area where there could be a shelf. They also cut the baseboard too much, but other than that, it's fine.

I had a bad experience with Closet World. I had this nice salesperson arrive at my home and she was very kind and nice. She did the measurements on my closets and she gave me numbers. She also went over the styles and prices. The thing she failed to tell me was that when they did the demolition on my current closet, they would not fix whatever they demolished afterward.

I had Closet World put in closets in my garage in my old house seven years ago and recently, I had them install their product in the garage again. The designer was pretty good. The installation team were good, too, and very professional. Everything was good the first time, and I didn't have to do anything else. I was satisfied with the whole thing. However, the price could have been a little better. They didn't give me that great of a discount for being a repeat customer. Also the lady who was supposed to come in first didn't show up, so we had to reschedule, and they had to send another designer.

Closet World had a $50 off promotion so I went with them. First, I got the walk-in closet and then I got two other closets. Their designers were very pleasant and they worked with the price. Everything was completed on time and in the way I wanted. I'm very happy with the result. The installers gave me their number after the installation. In fact, the installation department called to find out how everything went. It has been an easygoing experience and an affordable way to get a person's closet organized.

Gilbert was the Closet World installer and he was great. When he first came to install, he said we were gonna have this big hole after he took our hanger bars out. I asked if there wasn't a backing part of the modular unit they were putting in and he said I had to request that originally, which wasn't made clear to us. He had to come back a second time with that additional backing material. It could’ve been one trip and I could've explained it to my husband better. Otherwise everything else has been fine and I would definitely recommend them to a friend.

I redid my husband’s closet as a surprise to him. There was a company that I was looking at, but I happened to catch Closet World while they were doing a sale and it became reasonable with the discounts so I went ahead with Closet World. We did a full walk-in closet with molding, and it came out really beautiful. I have a window in the closet, so it’s unique. There’s a lot of light that comes in and we’re happy with that. I’ve got drawers and shelves for shoes, too.

My experience was fine with Closet World. I was shopping around and they were the best qualified. I did closets for my daughter and myself. The designer was excellent. She was very informed, professional and easy-going. The installers were on time, quick and cleaned up after the work. They completed the job and I didn’t need anybody to come back out. I would recommend Closet World to anybody else 100%.

We've had three large cabinets installed by Closet World in the garage. My only challenge was not being able to get a tighter window. And when I called the day before to get a window, I have to pick up my daughter in the afternoon but they couldn’t reschedule. I didn’t want to leave the garage door open for them, so I had to make the installation team wait for me for half-hour until I get back home. We could’ve eliminated that problem if they had told me exactly when or if they at least scheduled. But the people who came to install were fine.

We've already used Closet World before and they kept having promotions. They did a good job with the two closets we had them work on. They fixed my husband's closet so that it's tri-level and shirts and pants could be put in there. The designer took her time getting it all together and it came out good! Installation was done in one day and the installers were clean and friendly. They were efficient and we're happy.

We had Closet World before and the installer was just doing the weird situation with the installation. This time around was really good. The guy did a great job for a one person and it was a few hours long. We got a huge closet in one room and a regular-sized closet in another room from them.

The other company that came showed samples that looked exactly like what they installed, but I didn't go with them because the samples of Closet World looked better. However, I was misled by Closet World, so I was upset about that. Because the way the wood looks doesn't look like the type that they installed in the closet. Their samples are that thick, pressed wood-looking type wood, but what they showed looked a lot nicer. I reached out to them, but they never got back to me. I wanted some money back from Closet World because the product is not exactly what they showed. Nevertheless, the service was good. The agent was great and really nice. Plus, working with the installation crew was fine.

I got a flyer about Closet World in my mailbox. I then went with them for bookcases for my library. The designer was great and wonderful and the guy who did the installation was fabulous. The designer and the installer were way more than I expected. They were so good. The whole thing was excellent.

I had the most horrible experience with Closet World. They came and did my service on September 30th. It was a walk-in closet, 2X12 room, the two side walls and rear walls were based on the options she gave me from the magazine but it's not what that picture was. I chose the picture with doors on the cabinet but they gave an open cabinet that didn't even look right. It needed two doors and one shelf and the one that I chose was a glass door. I'm stuck now with what I already have and I cannot go any further with it. After this is done, I'm going to write a big, big story about them everywhere I can.

Closet World was referred to me by my real estate agent. I had closets done in two children's rooms, as well as a walk-in closet. The designer was nice, and I had no problems with her. The installation team was great, too. However, they had to come back a couple of times because there were some measurement issues and parts that they didn't have, so they had to fix all that. But the state of the whole job was fine.

Bought closets and organizers from Closet World as a referral from my sister. She's very picky and I know that she likes them. Closet World's designer was awesome and the installers did a really great job. They were very professional and cleaned up after themselves. They came back because they wanted an additional closet done and while they were here, I mentioned to the designer that I had a small nick on one of my shelves. She said it was not a problem and they'll have that replaced. And when they installed the new one they did it at no cost. So I've been very happy.

Closet World has very responsive people who contacted me, and that's why I had them install a working closet in my home. The designer was great, really fantastic, and very nice. She told me that she's new at Closet World, but she's very patient and took one step at a time. The installers showed up on time, did a professional job, and actually finished earlier than I expected. So far, so good. Everything is in the right place and quality is good. The only thing is that I was expecting 100% financing, and I found out at the end that I have to put 20% down, and they only finance up to 80% but that’s okay.

I've had some cabinets installed by Closet World in my laundry room. They were very thorough about what we’re gonna do. And when everything got installed, it’s what I was expecting. Everything was done on time and everything was as we discussed. They also called to check up on everything if it was working properly and we never had any issues with the installer. They were courteous, professional, and efficient, and I’m happy with what I got.

I chose Closet World to install garage cabinets because of the quality, price and the response. Interaction with the designer was excellent. The installation team was responsive, on time, and super professional. I would like to recommend them to anybody who would like to do this type of construction at their houses. They have absolutely beautiful, and aesthetically nice products. Dealing with them is very easy and I'm super satisfied.

The Closet World designer came and he took the wrong measurement. The products came on time, but then there was a sliding door that had to be done. The guy who installed it thought he had to cut the back side of the door because the doors are glass doors. He installed the back and then when he tried to install the door, it didn't fit. I asked the guy why it's not fitting and he said that it’s gonna take a longer time. I asked when he could do it and he said within one week. This was not the way it should have been done because the designer should have made some adjustment.

We chose Closet World because of their dynamite young lady who came out and gave us an estimate. She was great. The installation team was also pretty good. Though I didn't like that they got some glue on my concrete right outside the garage door, I'm very happy with what they did all in all. They came in, got our storage done in a short fashion, and it looks good. It gives us a little room in our garage and I'm now able to get both cars in for a change.

We called Closet World, they came out and we liked what they said, so we dealt with them. They installed shelving and regular hooks for our clothes. It was a pleasant experience. Their reps were courteous and friendly. We’d recommend them if we knew somebody that needed it.

I had my shelf and two cabinet doors in the laundry room installed through Closet World. The designer was very good but the installers were just awful. They broke something in my house and try to cover it up and then when I called their foreman they got pissy with my mother-in-law and weren't very friendly with her. I wasn't able to stay the whole time and then they turned off my gas line and refuse to turn it back on, so I had to pay a plumber to do that. They reimbursed me, but I wasn't happy about it.

When we made the deal to put the desk in, I thought it came with a center tray for the keyboard but it turned out that wasn’t a part of the deal. The Closet World saleslady who was very nice wanted to make a wider module on the one side and I said that I’d like more legroom in the middle so when that got changed, the keyboard thing got dropped out so that was a surprise. Then when I ordered the keyboard and tray and put it in, it didn’t line up right because of the things that weren’t squared so that’s when I reinstalled it so that things lined up correctly. Also, a couple of the parts came chipped already on the edge where the corners meet. The guys who did the installing got so much time and they gotta get on their way. There was a bit of a problem for them with the wall plug and we didn’t take time to discuss how to deal with that so they let things get out of line. But overall I'm satisfied.

I previously had Closet World install custom cabinets and shelving for me in my home in Whittier. Two installers came out and did an excellent job, and the cabinets they installed were fine and good. However, there were a few glitches with one of the shelves on one of my built-in cabinets. I spoke with the manager for the installers and they made the correction right there in the field, so I don't have any problems with them.

We had Closet World install a small upper and lower cabinet in a space in the master bedroom and a large area in the garage. Their designer, Mike, was great. He said, and it’s stated in writing, that we’d be charged 50% upfront when we ordered the cabinets. And upon completion, the balance of the amount would be charged to my credit card. However, they charged the credit card for the second balance. They came with basically everything perfect for the master bedroom but, half of the garage was wrong. Whatever changes Mike put in, apparently the workers were never told or they didn’t double check. Mike didn’t leave my house until we had all the changes in the garage done and the installers were not happy about having to come back.

The first time I used Closet World was a good experience but the second time around wasn't. I had three walk-in closets and had alterations in one of the closets. They charged me $200 for that and that was fine. But, I didn't like the closet. It looked unfinished. The quality of the wood was different and I wasn't satisfied with the quality of work. I called their office twice. One, to let them know I wasn't satisfied and the second call to let them know that I needed some repairs done. However, I have to take some responsibility for it because I didn't ask, "Can I get a better feel or a better look on the closets?" When I got it done the first time, I had a better upgrade. I had more trim on it and more crown molding. That's why I called Closet World back out to do my new home but I didn't get the same quality of closets that I had the first time around.

We previously had Closet World do our closet in our house, and the installation went great. Now, we had them make a custom-made desk for my daughter and installed a shelf in my laundry, too. But the first attempt to install wasn't good. In the laundry the installer removed the wall base to fit the shelf but never put it back so right now I gotta find and buy a base, cut it off, put it on and paint it. So now, we have a laundry without the base part.

There was a lot of communication at the beginning with Closet World. And then some of the time frames changed, which was fine because we weren't moved in yet so, it worked out great. But there were a few areas where it looks like it was difficult for the installation to happen. I had to have a couple of things fixed by my own contractor, but I would say it's still pretty good.

I considered doing the closet work on my own but it wouldn't have been very good, so I decided to go with a professional. One of the deciding factors for me to request a quote was to look at ratings and what people had to say about these companies so I went through Angie's List, looked at reviews and saw that Closet World had a sale. The woman who did the assessment was really nice and also told us right away that she could give us a bigger discount because she was an instructor. But my only complaint was she never asked us what we wanted and it felt like were getting sold up. We had to go a few rounds of saying that what she's saying was not our budget before we came to an agreement on the design and the price, wherein she took stuff out of the job.

Closet World has done work for me before. This time, we converted a closet into an entertainment center. The designer was fantastic and very helpful. During the installation, they were great, on time, and very nice about the house. We had grandkids there that day with everything else going on and they were very understanding. It was a very pleasant experience.

Closet World called us a couple of times and had somebody come over but we didn’t decide to do it. On the third call, we said we'd try and see what they were saying. So, we had redo our whole closet. The designer did all the schematics and it was good. The installer was on time and I was surprised he was by himself. There’s no way I could’ve done it by myself and I thought they would have at least two people. But he properly completed it and took about six hours. It was fast, convenient, and efficient.

My wife had estimates from two other companies which were within $300 to $400 of each other, but the price of Closet World made us select them. We had some drawers, shelves and hanging racks installed in her closet which went nicely. The gentleman was on time, professional and cleaned up after himself. Then one thing I really liked was on that day, someone from the company called to make sure that everything was going well. That was nice.

We had a leak inside an adjoining wall between the master bathroom and master bedroom. On the other side of the wall was a Closet World closet system and about 40%-50% of it was completely damaged from the water. We asked Closet World to come over to assess the damages and estimate how much it’s going to cost us. The designer came and took the measurements from the existing part of the closet. Everything was 16 inches. We came up with an agreement and we’re going to pay a set amount of money.

I was redoing a house for our customer and they wanted closets. I didn't want to build them so I hired Closet World. They charge too much money and the products are not constructed all that well. There are a lot of particle board. It fits but I wouldn't use them for myself. Also, the designer was a pushy lady that needed her money. She needed quotas or something like that of a very typical salesman.

I met with another closet company and Closet World has the lower price. However, when I was sold the walk-in closet and I paid, I was told that it would be installed at a certain time. I called to confirm that time with my salesperson once and she did. However, a few days before the installation, I was told by the installation team that it would be a different time and that was a big inconvenience. It was very stressful because I had to set up my whole day, take off work, and figure out childcare at that time. In the end, they were able to accommodate me, but there was some miscommunication. Other than that, the installation went fine.

I've used Closet World before, so I got them again to install an entertainment center. The designer and the guy that did the install were both very nice. Overall, I'm happy with it.

The people from Closet World were the first that we got a quote from. Their designer spent a lot of time with us measuring and coming up with the details of drawing what we talked about that I wanted. I have a guy that does built-ins and I asked him for a quote and it came in about the same. And because the designer came out and spent all those time measuring, I gave her the job.

I'm a Closet World return customer and wanted to have cabinets. We started with the cabinets in the garage and I showed their rep the totes that we've put all the Christmas stuff in which would fit in a 24-inch cabinet. She did all her measuring and said that there was enough space on one side to have a 29-inch closet. But she wrote it for three 36-inch cabinets instead of 24-inch, so I can't get as much into them. It was not what I really wanted.

I can't believe they are still in business. This company should be shut down. My grandmother had cabinets and a desk installed in her bedroom and the cabinets literally fell off the walls all on top of her and there was A LOT of cabinets. They tried to say her injuries were a result of her old age. DO NOT EVER USE THIS COMPANY!!! This could of killed her. Just wanting to pass this on so it doesn't happen to anyone else!

My experience with Closet World is pretty good overall. The designer was very good, and the material and the look of the closet is very good, too. However, I wasn’t completely happy about the installation. It was not as smooth and quick as I thought it would be. I didn't know that when they removed the previous closet, they didn't patch and paint. So, I wasn't prepared because I need to patch and paint the walls which now look awkward. And I'm still waiting for something to be completed for an outlet. They have come and saw that was missing. It was an error on the designer’s part and I have to change an electrical outlet.

I was looking up people who supplied Murphy beds and came across Closet World. I mistook it for California Closet who I've done some work with. They didn’t follow up after the installation and no one told me that the bed had springs, so I was given the impression that it was a purely foam mattress.

I like Closet World's cabinets and liked what they did so I gave them a try. Their designer was very friendly and spent enough time at home. She did a very good assessment of our space and gave us a variety of designs from which I could choose. They put in cabinets at my garage and the installers were there before the scheduled time. They did the installation in one day and everything went smoothly. We are very happy with the experience and would definitely like to have some more work later on.

Closet World is the sole company in my area that could provide the type of installation that I wanted for my closet, so I chose their company. The designer was very helpful in bringing out a sample of the product and went over the designs with me. That was good. However, I was not satisfied with the actual product once it was delivered to my house. The team was on time and the installation was completed; however, there was some damage to some of the shelving. I was told initially someone would come back, but they refused. What they decided to do was send me some additional shelving through the mail.

Closet World's presentation and explanation about the way their cabinets were made versus the other competition made me comfortable. Their designer was very pleasant and knowledgeable. I had them put cabinets up in my garage and the installer did great work. He was on time, courteous and helpful. I really appreciate him.

I called Closet World because I was looking for a closet company. During the most important part which was the design, the lady who worked with me was really good, nice, and available. She was very helpful in the sense that she was with very open eyes and had very practical ideas. She knows what to suggest according to the need. They installed in all of my bedrooms and the installation experience has been very good and fast. The person really knew his job. There were some follow-ups because of some sizing things and they had to redo the drawers. Also, few of the things were taking way too long to wait. However, the people were very helpful and the stuff was not in stock so they were also waiting.

I liked Closet World's price better than the estimate of a different company. The Closet World designer and I had a very professional interaction. I had them do a master closet, the guest room closet and the pantry. The installers got it done and it was a very good experience.

We had two separate walk-in closets installed by Closet World. The salesperson was pretty good. We also met a couple of times with the designer and she made some recommendations and we worked together to come up with the design. The installation team came in two days as promised and installed the closet. It's worked out good. I would recommend them.

We had Closet World in our other house a long time ago. We got them for our condo and their designer helped us. She was very thorough, helpful and pleasant. The installers were very quick, polite and cleaned up after they have finished. However, I would've preferred the material of the rails to be different as I liked the ones that I have in my house. But Closet World is a good company. I would recommend them to a friend.

Closet World's turnaround time was faster than a competitor's for the bedroom closets we purchased from them. The designer came to our home and did a computation. Then we had a little bit of trouble with the scheduling of the appointment. The people in their call center missed a detail and scheduled it on the wrong date so we had to get out of that, but it wasn't too bad. The installation technician showed up earlier than I thought he would and he was quick. He told us how long it was gonna take and was right. I thought that to be pretty cool of him. It's been a pretty good experience and I'd recommend them. Their price is really competitive in a very expensive product market, and the service is good.

My girlfriend used Closet World a few years ago and didn't say anything bad about it. Then the company had a special on the coupons they send out, so I went with that. I had looked at Home Depot but their cost was higher, they wouldn't deliver it to the house and I would've had to put everything in myself or ask the grumpy husband to help me. Also, their product was a bit more of an entailed closet type, which would've been overkill, instead of what I got from Closet World which was what I needed.

We were talking to a contractor who was going to do some work in our house and we mentioned something about the closet. He said that Closet World does a good job. The price seemed reasonable. Their designer was wonderful and did a fantastic job. I can tell she had a lot of experience and knew how to make most of the small space that we had. The installers also did a great job. They were on time, showed us how we could move the shelves around and also cleaned up after themselves. Overall, it was a great experience. If we had any more work to be done like that, I will be calling Closet World. I would certainly recommend the company to friends.

Closet World was great. They're more affordable than other companies and I liked the people. They were willing to work with our budget. I had cabinets done in my garage and I really liked my designer. She was very friendly, was open to listening to my ideas and that was what I appreciated. The guys who installed it were really good too. They were very nice and very professional. They showed up on time and were very straightforward. They also explained to me all the stuff that they were going to do. So that's why I was happy with their work.

We had a supposed home decorator from Closet World show up to measure and she took our deposit. 4 weeks later the installer shows up to install. Well measurements were off so they took another three weeks, showed up again and measurements were off again. I cancelled the order. This is about three weeks later and they refuse to refund deposit. I would never never deal with these idiots...

Tara ** was the sales rep from Closet World that came to our home, late Dec, to give us an estimate for garage cabinets and flooring. We let her know that we had to stay within a budget for this project and that we also had an appointment with Home Depot for an estimate as well. She proceeded to take all the necessary measurements and inspect our garage and then gave us a quote that worked with our budget and ensured us that this would be completed within 2-3 weeks. Because she met our requirements we cancelled the other estimate.

This is the worst company. Bunch of thieves. It all start with the designer who have no experience in design. Measurement are always done incorrect. Had to let her borrow my measuring tape because she left hers in the car. DONT SIGN. THAT'S HOW THEY GET YOU BY SIGNING THAT AGREEMENT, thinking I was going to get what we discussed. WRONG. They collect balance before install begins. Installation was late. Installers were not on time. Unprofessional man had a tattoo on his head was cursing on his phone to his supervisor due to design issues. Garage wasn't complete. Spoke to many supervisors. Albert was the worst unprofessional disrespectful supervisor I have encountered. Poor, poor, worst company. Now they want me to more cause not in the contract.

So I took advantage of their 50% off and no interest financing for one year. The sales person came out and showed me pictures of cabinets. I filled out the form for the one year financing through Wells Fargo. Installation day, the sliding doors are not delivered and the installer has no idea where they are. The cabinets are so not like the pictures. They are super cheap fiber board and the sliders for the drawers are crap. The job is not even finished. HERE IS THE KICKER. THEY CHARGED MY CREDIT CARD FOR THE BALANCE DUE WITHOUT AUTHORIZATION!!! Even when the installer said it was a finance job. These people are crooks and I so should have believed the reviews. Beware of Closet World.

I wish I read the reviews before calling them! During installation they messed up my brand new after remodeling walls, sliced the drywall open, charged my credit card without authorization, and installed mickey mouse closets. When I called them they said they don't do money back - my money is gone. $4300 gone. I have a 6-month-old girl and we still don't have closets and live out of boxes... Thieves.

They could not install in my mobile home, was trying to remodel. Salesperson was great but when they could not install they just give you the runaround on the refund $790+. Called 4 times they just say "we will call you back" and no refund yet or they say "let me call my supervisor" and nothing yet. They have good merchandise but terrible customer's service. Talked with Harry 4 times and nothing. Come on Closet World, take care of the customers. I had used you once before in my condo and it was good. Lost my condo and saved money to redo my closets now and nothing.

Years ago, we had most of our house's closets done by Closet World. We now needed a new kitchen pantry closet system and based on our past experience, I called Closet World. The Sales Associate showed up on time and came up with a nice design, and the installation date was set promptly and met. To be honest, there were a few adjustments needed after the installation. I called the installation dep't and they couldn't have been more accommodating. Their attitude was, "We want to make you happy." The installation was completed today, and we are indeed happy!

About ten years ago I purchased a closets for my garage and now they practically the hinges are falling off. When I called them to let them know about the lifetime warranty they gave me this excuses about that's not covered. "We will charge you over $120,00" just to come out and that's not including the parts if they use any. Sorry. I'm going to tell everyone about this company.

I ordered a Home Office from Closet World before I read any reviews. Don't go on their website to look at the review because those are all good reviews that they handpicked from their small amount of satisfied customers. Maybe those review are not even real. The first problem I had with them was when the designer came out to my home. When he took the measurements and started designing the Home Office. I told him what I wanted very clearly. I told the designer that I would have a desktop here and to make sure there would be enough room for the monitor, keyboard and mouse. I also made sure to tell him that it should be comfortable and I would not have to sit at a weird angle where I have to completely bend my back just to face the screen. He assured me that wouldn't be a problem.

Some things were missing when they left on 7/30. They were to come back on 8/1. They didn't show up when they said so my husband said to come on Monday 8/3. No one called so I called. Now they say 8/17. This is unacceptable & I wouldn't recommend.

My sister had work done by Closet World and it was awful. The sales person that came out and didn't measure things right and it all had to be redone. And they keep $400.00 of her money because she was going to have them do her kitchen hutch and they told her it was too late to get the money back when she called since she gave them a check. They're a terrible company and do not know how to measure or be honest. Wish we had read the reviews but I definitely tell everyone what an awful job they have done. They'll get NO work around this area if I can help it. Hope someone sues their pants off.

I had a rep come over to redo my closets. The installer was suppose to be here 9:00 am on Saturday morning as I work during the week and wanted to have the work done over the weekend. The installer showed up at 6:00 pm and said that he had problems with his first job that day. ("I thought I was the first job of the day") The closet he put in was nothing like the rep had described to me. But I was late for a party and did not want to leave this person in my home, so I had to sent him back to LA without my other closet complete. Well after looking at the poor quality of the work I decided that I did not want them to finish. But when I told them this, the manager threatened me that he would put a lien on my home. At this point I realize this people were rip off artists. So I had them finish the job and a few years later I had California Closets come and tear out their mess and make it right. Go to California Closets, they are a much better choice.

I had a very bad experience with Closet World (CW). I wanted a home office that would be custom made to my needs and this was not what I ended up with. The following is a summary of some of the complaints that I have: 1) Designer never understood my needs; 2) Office design was not designed to my needs or expectations; 3) The installation was promised on a certain date and the order was never placed; 4) Measurements were not taken correctly. Important things like space for other drawers to open and main light switches were overlooked when creating office design. Different pieces had to be ordered twice; 5) CW did not have the handles that were recommended by designer until after 2 months later; 6) Delays by CW turned a 3 week project into a 3 month project.

I am very sorry I did not read all of the negative reviews about Closet World before I ordered their product, as I would have avoided much frustration. To begin, the sales professional, **, did not measure for the product correctly, which meant that the product needed to be altered and the install could not be completed. Secondly, the installer came to my appointment two hours late. The reason being that my project was scattered throughout the warehouse, so he left late in the morning. Mind you, I was called three times by the company to see if I wanted my installation earlier. The next installation date, I was called by the scheduling supervisor in the morning to confirm the time. The installer arrived 2.5 hours late. I missed and entire day of work for the first installation and a half day's work for the second installation. Please save yourself frustration and money, do your due diligence and do not use this company.

Dealing with them has been the worst customer service I have ever experienced. The original design had all sorts of problems and incorrect measurements to begin with but that I can deal with. They had to come out a second time, on a Wed, to fix the issues. They rescheduled last minute to Fri at 5pm. Not only did they not show on time, there was not even a call to let me know. After placing multiple calls to their 1-800 number, i was assured they were on their way each time.

I purchased a closet from Closet World for a small spare bedroom. I was not home when the installer got there, so they asked my husband which room and he did not know the location so they put it in the master bedroom. I called and made a complaint of how could this happen when they have paperwork with all the details. I told the manager they should have called me if they had questions about the location. He said that was my husband responsibility to contact me. I explain that my husband was an elderly person 91 years of age and he thought they knew what they was going to do.

Sales rep from Closet World came out to our house: We explained to her we wanted to have beveled glass wardrobe mirrors installed in two rooms that matched the beveled mirror we already have over the sink area. We thought our request was absolutely clear. Unfortunately for us, we did not go over the final contract with a fine toothcomb. Once we signed on the dotted line, that's how the mirrors were ordered, without beveled glass. :( The sales rep overlooked entering "Bevel". In fact she circled "N" for no, no beveled glass. Unbelievable! I came home from work to see just plain glass installed, and I mean "plain glass". We could of spent less money (-$800) and ordered beveled glass from Lowe's, but we thought Closet World would be a more professional experience. Wrong!

I am very frustrated with Closet World. Partly my mistake for not cancelling in 3 days but I had every intention of moving forward with the purchase. I put a $1,500 deposit down on this order and then sometime afterward, after purchasing my new home and paying addition towards the closing and other expenses, determined that I could not follow through with the closets. I called requesting to cancel and be refunded. Their customer service person said she would fill out the paperwork because I could not locate mine and then have a manager call me. I waited and no call. I call again and speak to another person in which she also said she would have a manager call in 3 days. I waited, no call. Another week goes by and I call again and state the same thing.

I remodeled my garage on February 2014. The work was done by Garage Envy and the agreement indicated lifetime warranty for the cabinets, and 1 year warranty for the flooring. I called Garage Envy, but the call was answered by Closet World. I ran a short investigation (called the designer who designed my garage) and learned Closet World acquired Garage Envy in April 2014. Closet World pretends to be Garage Envy, but they're not. Furthermore, they refused to honor the warranty; they don't do epoxy floors at all AND they charge for any service for the cabinets...

Upon signing the contract, I paid $2500 in advance for a set of garage cabinets. They originally delivered the products with lots of shortages and mismatches. Their measurements were wrong and I had paid for the larger items. Installer wanted to cut them in place to fit. I disagreed and asked to shrink two of them so they all match together. This was agreed upon them delivering some wall panels to compensate the extra charges. They left to come back 2 weeks later with shrunk ones. There were still larger doors still and shortage of other doors and table and drawers. They agreed for compensating me instead of the shrunk sizes of my cabinets to cover my small wall with their wall products. They come and go every two weeks for over 2 months and always with some problems.

After my initial meeting with Amy from Closet World, I went back online as I knew I had seen some negative reviews about this company but wanted to research them more thoroughly. I'm glad I did. I had mentioned to my design consultant Amy (who constantly kept informing me how lucky I was to have her there because she was an Executive with the company that they had called her to come out specifically for my appointment) that I had heard some negative things about Closet World. In fact I thought I was enlisting the services of a company called Garage Envy but it seems Closet World acquired them a few years ago.

Closet World's designer measured for cabinets in our garage. When I inquired about whether the cabinets would sit flush to the floor or be raised several inches above the floor (as I had seen in the catalog), she assured me by email that the cabinets would be flush to the floor, notched around a concrete baseboard. When the installers showed up, they said, "No, garage cabinets are actually suspended five inches above the floor and mounted to the wall. Otherwise, they won't be level because the flooring is not level. This was fine with me. It is actually a better look and it allows for the flooring (in our case, commercial carpeting) to be replaced when needed. It also makes the workbench at a better height for my 6'2" husband. The cabinets and work bench are good quality, so we were pleased.

We used Closet World in North San Diego for 2 master closets and a large garage cabinet. Let me first state they blow away competition (CA closets) in price. The product is far superior to do-it-yourself (ClosetMaid), but probably not quite as good as CA Closets.

My experience with Closet World from the beginning hasn't been pleasant. The lady, named Leslie, who came out to give the estimate, asked for two checks, one to deposit and one for when it was completed. I wrote her three that day due to one being the wrong amount originally (we ripped that one up). She also got pen ink on my couch. She kept looking around my house and saying how nice it was and asked me how I afforded it being so young. I am older than I look and it's none of her business how I afford it (I teach, and nanny but that's none of her business). Then two weeks later, she called me screaming, I mean literally yelling at me saying I didn't write her checks. I was more than happy to pay her or rewrite checks if she lost them, but she insisted that she didn't and said she would put a lien on my house and on and on. She was really nasty for no reason and when I hung up the phone, my heart was pounding. I paid her again immediately and that was that.

I met with the designer. She came to my home and assured me that this company was topnotch, even after I told her I had concerns regarding the reviews I read. 30 days later, all my clothes were packed away in the garage and my work schedule adjusted to accommodate the install. They called that morning and said sorry, the product was damaged? They rescheduled for the following two weeks and the product arrived. It is all wrong! The designer's measurements were incorrect. She said, "Have them wait and I will come over and check it out." She said, "Oh well, things like this happen." So now I have taken off work for two days to accommodate installation with no product installed.

I almost made the mistake of doing business with Closet World. After reading all these reviews, I'm thankful that they didn't show up for the initial consultation appointment. After waiting an hour after my scheduled time, I called Closet World and told them that no one showed up for the consultation appointment. The rep was apologetic and scheduled another date and time. They didn't show up for that appointment either. This prompted me to look closer at this company and read some reviews. Well, I wasn't surprised at all the negative reviews, but I can say that I'm very relieved that I escaped the frustration experienced by so many. Thank you for your honest reviews. We need to stick together as consumers and warn others about incompetent and disastrous businesses who just want to take your money.

Based on a recommendation from a friend, I contacted Closet World to do one closet. The design person, Amy, came and was friendly enough but while she was measuring, she started talking about an uncle of hers who was a professional baseball player and later a broadcaster. I tried to steer the conversation away from her uncle and to the measuring process. When the installer, Jaime came, he said the measurements were wrong. That was the first clue that the installation was in trouble. Jaime then told us about removing the clothes rod and support material and said that it needed to be patched and painted or I would see holes in the wall. That is something that the designer should've told me initially and I would've taken care of it prior to the installation. I had Jaime call his supervisor, Raul, who told my wife that, "Once the clothes and shoes are in, you won't see the holes."

Believe every negative word you read about Closet World! They have the absolute worst customer service and quality ever! I am a repeat customer. They built a great closet for me in 1995. I recently moved and was in the market for a new closet, so I decided to check out a few companies and searched online for reviews. After reading all the negative comments about CW and addressing the issue with the designer Jeanie, I was convinced the people online had nothing better to do than to complain. The designer was so down to earth and mellow that I decided to go ahead and take a chance. Mistake. After all, my experience in '95 was positive and the quality was good.

I had three closets done in my house and I couldn't be happier. I realized that people who are happy don't normally go on a complaints page to write and that is why I decided to do it. I was a bit hesitant about using this company after reading some of the complaints, but my neighbor assured me that she loved her closets and had absolutely no problem. She referred me to her salesperson and I loved working with her. She listened and designed exactly what I wanted.

First of all, I purchased custom closets for two bedrooms. When the installer came to install them, they informed me that backing was not included and that this was a separate charge. I and my husband were under the impression that the backing was included in our purchase because the sales representative showed us a model of what the closet organizer would look like and it had backing on it. At no time was the word backing mentioned nor were we given the option to purchase. It was not even stated in our contract that backing was not included.

Closet World set up a date for installation and didn’t keep it. They didn’t call until two weeks later. I should have known right there. On the new day of installation I could not get there until later in the afternoon. My wife let them in and they said they would do the installation and collect the remainder when they were finished. They didn’t have the handles for all the drawers (17). I withheld $500.00 of the $4200.00 contract for them to finish. Assuming the handles were $10.00 each, plus travel and installation cost, that seems reasonable to me.

This place should be sued, and I may. The usual bait and switch, with the designer (sales person), then no one showed up, after I postponed all my plans. Finally, about 3 PM, two men showed up. They couldn't get finished, until about 7 PM. While one worked upstairs, another started downstairs. When I went downstairs, it looked nothing like I had discussed with the "designer". It was 2 large storage like boxes. I had discussed I wanted a liquor bar, with display shelves above. They had wrong dimensions, etc. I told them to stop, and called the supervisor. They said they needed different parts. No one called, so I called, and was told that they had installed. I checked my credit card, and saw that they had broken the contract, and charged before installation. I called the credit card company and my attorney. They are trying to say that they will make it right. I don't think they know how. I wish I had checked for complaints first.
