I like their products, and I've had very good experiences with Houzz. I've purchased lamps, firewood holders, and a lot more. Delivery has always been on time, I've been very happy with the quality of the products, and I’ve kept them all. I did have one defective lamp that I had to return, and they were good about replacing it immediately. Pricewise, it’s a bit high but not outrageous. It's not average, but it's quality product, so I pay a little bit more.

It was an easy process with Cal Spas and everything was great. I’ve had it for a year now, and the quality is good. It's relaxing and it's just been wonderful.

We saw the commercial and so, we stopped in and checked it out. The salesman was nice and friendly. Cal Spas delivered it and placed it where we wanted, and then we had to hire an electrician to wire it up. I should've gotten an upgraded model that had better controls because there are definitely some things that could be better about my tub.

We purchased a new Cal spa last year, within 30-40 days we had major failures, including broken pump x2, sagging or warped frame, all black plastic faded, heater works inconsistently. 8 months later the dealer nor Spas has taken any action to resolve the issues and we are stuck so far with the 12k bill. It really sucks. We have spent probably 10hrs emailing back and forth pleading for service. They finally made a deal to replace it then failed to meet the terms or timeline.

I would NEVER recommend purchasing a Cal Spa to anyone. This company delivers sub-par equipment and does not honor their warranty. I purchased my spa 2 years ago and the heater keeps going out, continually blows the AC breaker. When contacting the local dealer, Lowest Depot/Tucson Hot Tubs, they refuse to honor the warranty as "they lose money on warranty service". Regardless of whether or not they lose money on warranty claims they are a CalSpas dealer and should honor the warrantee. Upon calling Cal Spas directly regarding this issue, 4 times now, I am transferred by the operator to a phone answering system and my calls are never returned. When asking to not be transferred to voicemail and get a service manager directly, you are again transferred to the same voicemail that goes unanswered. Summary: high cost, low quality, no corporate customer support and zero warranty support. Avoid these guys!

I liked the tub's design. Also, the reps answered all my questions.

Cal Spas is a great, unique spa. It's great if you have any type of aches and pains that fill the need and just for the pleasurability of spending time with friends and family and relaxing. It's the perfect unit. I saw it at a walk-in at a place in Toledo. The salesperson did a really good job. The spa I got is really big, a six-to-eight-seater and it's really comfy. It's got a Bluetooth speaker and all the other bells and whistles on it. It was actually a closeout, an older display model, and they were just getting rid of it. So we got it for a couple thousand less than what it was normally priced at.

We had a tub at a house we moved from and the new house didn't have one. We were told about Cal Spas by Mossing Pool and Spa who sold it. Our spa has four seats and it was the right size and fit where we needed it to go. The quality is excellent. I highly recommend it.

We used the Cal Spas website to look at their products and the website was good. The specific product that we ended up buying was a show floor model and it was very expensive. The sales rep was kind, but I felt like I was being bamboozled at some point for whatever reasons. So, that felt almost a little dishonest to me. The installers were very kind and careful with the equipment. I'm satisfied with the product but within a few months, the screen would not work with our fingers and I would have to reset the breaker in order to get it to work. It's the same thing with the Bluetooth. It'll work for a few months then it'll stop working, and I have to reset the breaker in order to get it to work again.

We went to a place in Indianapolis called Recreation Unlimited. We chose Cal Spas because my husband has Parkinson's and it had a step where he could get in, sit down on the step, and then be able to maneuver around the hot tub. It was the one most accommodating for us. Also, in comparison to others in the same price range, I feel like it has met our needs. Also, since my husband has Parkinson's, it's helped his legs and his muscles. He likes to use it daily to help his Parkinson's. We would recommend it.

Our spa from Cal Spas has 42 jets and it is the right size. The functionality of it is fine and it was easy to maintain. Everything was easily accessible compared to some of the others. Side panels came off simply. Even the installation of it was simple, which made it good for us. It was durable, came with the step, the top and a cover. We're satisfied and happy with it.

I've owned a spa since 1982, and this was my second one. I'm well acquainted with the experience. Everything went very well.

I have a close friend that bought a home a number of years ago that had a Cal Spa. I used it a few times with their family and thought it was a good product. I did my own research and saw that Recreation Unlimited there in Noblesville, Indiana sells Cal Spas, and that was the closest distributor to where I live. I bought the Patio Plus. I didn't wanna go over $10,000, and that was priced well. I love the LED lights. That's fun at night. I loved the customer service from the distributor. They came and hooked the spa up to power, walked me through the chemical process.

I'm disappointed that I spent $30,000 on this thing. It doesn't even have Bluetooth. You can have the option of getting that accessory but I was expecting with that price that it would come with something like that. I'm also disappointed because when I was swimming in it, I have a foot or less of space before I hit the back of the spa. I'm 5’10”, and I wish I would have gotten the bigger one. I can't do the whole swim thing because it's not long enough for an average height person.

My experience purchasing with Cal Spas was good. It's a local company where we live, and we had one before. The people are easy to deal with. When they installed, everything went great. They were punctual, quick, and informative. The spa has jets and lights. It's got two pumps and three different speeds. It also has the back massager which works fine. We've been using Cal Spas for 20 years, and the filtering and everything else is very good except for the slipperiness of the interior. The one that I have is a little slick. The one I had before was a little scruffed up so you didn't feel like you slid everywhere.

We've had our Cal Spa for about a year and a half now. The installation was a great experience and it was really good when I talked to their reps on the phone.

They were here on time. The service was great. They all worked together. They explained everything to us. It was great. We love it.

We liked the particular model that was in the showroom. It had the center foot tornado thing. So it had the super jet in the middle. We used the spa for relaxing and we used all the jets on the unit. I like the features and the size of the spa. It fits perfectly for our family. It has excellent quality. We bought it brand-new and right before the new model came out. So we got a great deal on it. The price that we got was very good value.

I bought a house that came with a Cal Spas hot tub which is reliable. When I bought one for my new house, I went with the same brand. The installation was through Spa Doctors in Salem, Virginia and they were great. Everything went very smoothly. We've got trees, and it was a challenging spot, but they were able to pull it off with ease. The hot tub is good but the panel with the buttons is not super intuitive. Most of the time you're using the hot tub, it's in the dark, but the panel doesn't light up. It's got a light that you can barely see, like the read-out for the temperature. But as far as lighting up the buttons to know which buttons to hit, you're guessing if you don't have it memorized. We also had some issues with the neck rest. They oxidized. We ended up removing them and not putting them back in. Reading online, it seems that's a common thing.

My experience with Cal Spas has been good. I use it every day. It's improved my living space ‘cause I built a private area. It's in a nice spot on the back side of the yard. Having it installed was easy-peasy. I didn't have to do much of anything. They had to come out once to replace something that was damaged when it had arrived. But I had a good interaction with them. I also would’ve liked to have spent less. But if you want something good, you have to pay for it.

The cost is high. I can find a bunch of used hot tubs for half the price. But Cal Spas was quick, efficient, and knew what they were doing. Also, I like the back jets.

I had a spa from Cal Spas 35 years ago and recently, I bought my second one. My first one made me feel good about Cal Spas’ warranty and maintenance. Everything's good with my second one, too. I'm really close to the Aurora store over here off of Abilene, within a mile, but I didn't really care for their sales staff. They seemed to be snooty, so I ended up going out to Parker, and the guy there was very nice so, I ended up buying my new spa there. But I get any chemicals over here at the Aurora store because it’s closer. We also bought a fire insert there at Spa Brokers and they’re just not the friendliest. All in all, Cal Spas is too expensive but if there is a cheap one out there, it's cheap quality.

Stay away from Cal Spa. They are nothing butted liars. Tiffany who is the worst person. She will not come true. She will never answer emails. She will then make sure that she backs away by not answering your emails. She will send you parts but you will pay for shipping if there is no repair person around near you. You will insult you and will call you a liar. The product is bad. They don't even sell new They sell use. I will never again do anything with this company. I am now going to make sure the tub goes away in millions of pieces. To the dealer I purchased it from. They send you parts to get them replace but then they don't want to replace them. What a bunch of crooks. That is probably the best way to describe this company.

We've been loving the spa from Cal Spas. I like that my whole family can be in it. It's very efficient and doesn't take a ton of chemicals. It's easy to balance. The techs had to come out and replace the light. It was timely and done efficiently.

After numerous calls, to customer service, a technician was sent out. Found the air lock issue. (Which is not mentioned at all in the manual. It also wasn't mentioned the 6 times we called in.) I will change my review, but not my feelings. I will not recommend this company, just based on the run around.

Since I've had the tub for a while now, the headrest started peeling off because of the heat. Other than that, I love it.

The Cal Spas product is good. It's relaxing. It definitely is not saving money. I could argue almost that there is more money spent because of the power situation. But we have four kids so it's something that is utilized for relaxation.

We looked at a couple of other spa manufacturers and resellers but they didn't have anything. It was gonna be six months before they had anything that we could get. Cal Spas actually had the spa at the time we bought it and the installation was on time. We told them exactly what we're looking for and they showed us a couple models. When we bought it, we got to pick a cover and we took a black one. They didn't have that in so we had a brown cover when it was delivered but when the black one came in, they came right out and swapped it out. It was no issue. Cal Spas was a little more expensive but we're happy with the product and service. Also, when you relocate or move, they'll move the spa to your new house for you for 150 bucks. That's an option they provide and we're pretty excited about that.

The tub has been fine. We've had it for four years and we did the set up ourselves.

I sold a house for a lady whose husband had passed away and they had a swim spa. She gave it to me and it was a Cal Spas and I liked it. But it was too big for us. So, I went to Cal Spas and bought a regular-size one. The rep was informative and wasn't pushy. He said he would take away the old one for free. That was great because I didn’t know how I would move it. I had to hire a crane to lift it and get it into my yard. So, I didn't wanna go through that again. Cal Spas had a good-sized crew and they maneuvered it with several dollies and got it out of my backyard and took it away. They did a very nice job.
