The crew showed up on time, kept the job site clean, and worked efficiently. The final result? A stunning pool that looks even better than we imagined. It’s become our favorite part of the house, and friends and family are blown away every time they visit. We’re so grateful for the experience and highly recommend them to anyone considering adding a pool!

We're really happy with Blue Haven. I knew about them from a friend who really raved about Dominic, who was the contractor we used. I like what she had to say based on how he was responsive, responsible, and got the work done quickly. She's very happy with the product. Even when there was a problem, he dealt with it well. When I got the bids in, they were competitive and I could work with Dominic and negotiate on a few things. So, I was satisfied with that. I wasn't crazy about the design process though. Dominic was great, but he was limited with that area.

The other companies that I asked for quotes wouldn't even talk to me because I wouldn't give them a budget. Others wouldn't give me the design that I wanted. With Blue Haven, they have everything I wanted, like the price and the design.

We moved to Florida and I interviewed three other companies then I found out on Facebook that Blue Haven was here. I'm originally from Texas and Blue Haven was also there, so I knew the name. Amber, the designer, was wonderful. I knew right away when she sat down and we started talking that that's who I was gonna go with. We have a long narrow rectangular pool with a hot tub that we can run from our phones. I recommended Blue Haven to several people who drove by our house and stopped and asked about it. So, I've given them quite a few referrals.

We had Blue Haven do our pool renovation. It's still an older pool that existed in the ground, and it was renovated for it to look new. We took the old deck up to put in a new deck. We added new stones to the pool. We added the new surface in the bottom of the pool with new handles, but as far as anything new to the design, it was the same except we enlarged the deck.

Mitch was awesome!! Outstanding professional with a breath of knowledge. His expertise and ability to come up with a design to fit my needs were exceptional. I really enjoyed working with him and highly recommend him for any job.

We had our pool done through Blue Haven and they did excellent work. The pool was about 40 years old, and the tiles were falling off. They took it down to the shell, rebuilt it and put a new filter.

Blue Haven was able to offer a good price for the product that I was interested in and the customer service was good. I did have one bad experience while they installed. I know Blue Haven hires subcontractors to do all the work and they have a management team that supervises the contractors to make sure they're doing the work properly. The pavers that they contracted were not good. So there was some back and forth about fixing the pavers and they finally did come back and took care of the pavers and fixed them. Jackson, their supervisor, did a fantastic job. He was the one who got everything straightened out and taken care of. He was fabulous and they built a beautiful pool.

I received fantastic customer service from Blue Haven. I love every bit of the features their pool has to offer. When they came to construct it, they were super professional, very efficient, clean, and positive.

I found Blue Haven on social media. Then I started doing some investigating after I saw them advertised. Their customer service is outstanding. The pool design was perfect. Krista, the designer, was incredible. One of my favorite features would be the waterfall. I really like it.

I was with Blue Haven for a long time, even in California. Scott came out. He is a great guy and knew his business. He looked at our area and we discussed what we were looking to have in the backyard with the size of it because it's small. We were able to come up with a tremendous design for my needs and made it really effective. In other words, economy-wise, it worked out quite well. Everything about their operation, starting with the designer, every single one of those people paid attention, kept to their deadline, and did the job, informed me of things when I needed it. Richard, who came over at the very end, great young man who made sure I understood how to operate everything.

I moved into Florida and was looking to get a pool. For the size of the pool that I was looking for, Blue Haven Pools & Spas was more affordable than anybody I had talked to. Their customer service is great. I'm still calling and asking questions, and they always call me back. They're easy to work with.

I found out about Blue Haven on the internet. And then later, several friends have used them. Their customer service is exceptional and their design plan was awesome.

Blue Haven Pools & Spas rated very highly among all the companies that I checked out from Better Business Bureau. We were looking to build a pool, and we took about probably four or five quotes from different companies.

I designed a rectangular pool that was similar to one I built a couple of years ago in a different state. This one is old school and retro with a safety ledge. I wanted it simple, and Blue Haven followed me request. The original designer was a little snappy, and I didn’t like her at all. The other people we worked with were also not so wonderful. The project manager, on the other hand, made everything great. The installation was perfect. So far, the pool has been great. I would highly recommend them.

I have no complaints about Blue Haven Pools. The designer was amazing. They asked what I wanted and designed the pool based on what I told them. Although there were a couple of discrepancies between what I was told to begin with and what ended up happening, the manager 100% took ownership and made sure I got what I wanted. The finished pool looks amazing and is the perfect size for my house. I thought it was going to be too small, but they told me it wouldn't. Their price was reasonable, and I have recommended them to a friend.

Unfortunately, our experience has been extremely disappointing. Communication throughout the process has been poor, with long stretches of silence and repeated failure to respond to emails or calls. There is no clear follow-up on progress, and we constantly have to chase for updates. When we receive responses, they were often filled with vague explanations or shifting excuses for delays. Timelines have been missed multiple times, and at no point did we feel like the situation is being handled proactively or professionally. What could have been resolved with timely, honest communication and accountability turned into a frustrating and drawn-out ordeal. I would not recommend this service unless serious improvements are made to how they manage client communication and commitments.

I met with the Blue Haven Pools & Spas designer, and I was impressed by the way they really came out and looked at the site. They seemed more engaged. That's what sold me on using them. He was great.

We chose Blue Haven Nashville to build our pool at our home in Brentwood TN and we are ecstatic with the whole experience working with Andrew, MJ and Jody. The Blue Haven team here is very knowledgeable and every step has been on time and well executed. This is our third pool build with the company Blue Haven with two other pool builds in Florida homes and each time has been excellent. If you want a quality pool and great people to work with, Blue Haven is the choice.

I had given the designer an initial idea of what I wanted, and they were able to put that together to where it would make sense and actually work, so I was satisfied. I had the app and the upgraded lights and things of that nature installed. The construction was pretty seamless, and the main contractor kept me in the loop.

We talked to several people who had different kinds of pool, fiberglass and vinyl-lined. Our neighbors across the street have a gunite pool, and we asked them who did theirs. Our neighbors told us it was Blue Haven and told us about the guy who designed it, Jamie. After that recommendation and our research, we went with Blue Haven. I went to their website and looked around. With the information and photo gallery in there, I had an idea what they were capable of.

The people at Blue Haven Pools & Spas were fantastic. We had a few issues just getting in contact with people in the beginning, but that worked itself out pretty quickly. And we have a lot of friends with different types of pools, and we really just liked the gunite part of it. And we thought that it was gonna last longer and a little classier.

Our pool was installed in 2021. It cracked and was repaired once. Now both heaters won’t work, and the cracks are back even longer and they won’t come out to fix anything or return my any of my phone calls.

It was pretty simple and straightforward. It's a great design, but it's a rectangular pool that's small. Everything's good. It was well worth the money. Although what pools cost, it's like I can't believe how expensive they are to build. As far as what it is, it's expensive. But everyone who quoted me was the same price. So it's not like Blue Haven was any more than any of the competitors. But no, they were professional, they were good. Being a contractor myself, I was out there almost every day, looking over their work. So I feel like my pool came out better than if somebody says, "Hey, here's a check. Build a pool. I'll see you in two months." But overall, they were great. Everything's been really good. I've been really pleased with them, and I would use them again if I had another pool to build. But I don't think I'll ever have the money for another pool. So I don't have to worry about that.

My experience with Blue Haven Pools & Spas was fantastic. We liked the plan they created. Nothing really stood out. We were going into it not knowing much, so they gave us the design, we adjusted a little, and then we went with that.

The pool plan from Blue Haven Pools & Spas was great. We both designed it together. He just laid out what we thought, then we tweaked it, and the computer was able to do what we wanted to do.

Chris was the sales representative, and he provided us with the information we needed. It was more than selling it he was educating us on what we needed. We didn't feel push but at the same time, we were sold by that. It was more pricey compared to the other ones. It was excellent. It’s exactly what we had in mind. They did very good. They never overpromise anything. And they finished the project a month before it was projected to be finished. So we were very happy. It has the auto cleaning, the light fixtures, so I can have a light show. The spa, I get a lot of compliments from people who come to my house. It's huge, so you can put 10 people in the spa. Customer service needs to be better. There was a light issue with the warranty. They told me they're gonna send someone to fix it this day. Then three weeks passed by, and no one was there. And they were blaming each other. So it took some time until I had to call the director of customer service.

We were part of the design process and had a good experience. The pool includes LED lighting and remote automation that we access through a Hayward app. My favorite feature is the hot tub portion of it.

I had my own idea for my spa and Blue Haven was able to develop my design. It took three months. I can't recall any issues.

The price was more than fair with Blue Haven. I’ve had friends who asked for a pool similar to mine and they’ve been quoted up to three times as much. They are fast, within two days, we were ready to go, and they were already pulling permits and doing the deal that same week. This is actually the second pool they’ve done for me. I used them over 20 years ago and they put in a pool for me then with no issues.

Blue Haven rebuilt a pool that I already had. It was just picking out the colors of the materials. There were a lot of them working on it. It's a big pool, a 50,000-gallon pool. They did an awesome job. I have already referred and recommended them to several people. They did great. I'm very, very happy.

The Blue Haven designer was 10 out of 10. The rep Weston was great, honest, and not pushy. Yukary, the general manager, was great. She was on top of stuff, and so was the project manager. They were fast. It was cool. When you sub stuff out, some of the stuff is out of your control. But when I did have an issue, they got it fix. So I have zero complaints, except the cost. The final product is great, other than there's an issue recently. A cyclone's cracked but I reached out to them yesterday and they already contacted people, so they're on it.

We’re glad we went with Blue Haven. We love the plan they made for us and everything went well with the construction team. We also have the app to make the pool run, which is awesome. We couldn’t be happier.

I would definitely go with Blue Haven again if we were to build another pool. I thought the design was great, and they did a really good job answering pretty much all the questions we had. We even did a couple of revisions based off the land, and they were quick to respond and communicated the whole time.

I would absolutely recommend Blue Haven to anyone. I was very happy with the design they created for my pool, and it has smart features like smart clean. The construction team was also very positive, and it was just an overall very good experience with them. I would say they're very up-front and honest.

Everybody at Blue Haven was extremely responsive. They were very quick to get back with us and answer any queries we had. We tried to make it as cut and dry for them as possible, so we walked into it having taken plat maps, sketched out things that we knew we wanted, and even going so far as checking county ordinances to make sure we weren't violating any zoning. So, we came to the table with a concrete idea of what we wanted, they took that, worked with us, and made some suggestions that we hadn't considered, which we appreciated. So, it was an incredibly smooth process for us. It took eight weeks from start to finish for the entire building of the pool, pouring the decking, until they were totally wrapped.

Our best friends who live here in San Antonio had Blue Haven Pools & Spas and referred it to us. It's just a standard pool flagstone top piled inside and a pool decking on the concrete pad all the way around it, and our pergola area. They made it the freeform pool, then it has a hot tub, and it has our benches in it that we wanted, our sitting areas. We love the design, we love the work, and the workers were easy and great to work with. They listened to what we needed and were always here on time when they said they were coming. The negative would be a little bit more explanation or directions on how to do the pumps and the valves to shut them off. I guess how to do the maintenance of the pool was extremely short in time. He was only here 15 to 20 minutes. I didn't have any questions, but I called back twice, and I have not gotten a response back to come back and show me again, or if they have a better way to explain it. I still don't think I got it.

Wish I Had Gone Elsewhere from the Start. After a frustrating experience with this company, I’ve decided to take my business elsewhere for pool construction. From the very beginning, it was clear that this company couldn’t deliver the quality and service they promised. The process was full of delays, lack of communication, and poor customer service. I was given a timeline that was not even close to being met, and every time I tried to get an update, I was met with excuses and silence.

I needed to get my backyard done. I got a referral for the hardscape, and that’s the person who brought in Blue Haven. The crew was just a bunch of subcontractors and they came out and did the work they’d promised to do.

I worked with Blue Haven Pools and Spas, and I am extremely pleased with the pool design they created for me. The design process was insightful as they helped me understand what would realistically fit in my backyard, considering the existing deck and how the pool would integrate with our lifestyle. Their expertise was evident as they advised me on what ideas might not work well based on their experience. They also considered my future intentions, suggesting design ideas that could accommodate changes down the line.

I recently had a pool installed by Blue Haven Pools and Spa. I had heard of Blue Haven from friends and their strong presence in our area. What drew me to them was their company's size and the impressive warranty they offered.

My neighbors used Blue Haven and I decided to use them. They had a trade show that we're able to go to and see what they did and how they did things. They were very knowledgeable and the construction process was seamless. They were very professional and they let us know every step of the way what was going on. Once they were done, they went way above and beyond cleaning everything up, and regrading the lawn. They built a simple rectangle pool for us and we opened it in September. So far, we haven't had any issues going through all the free stuff. There's been a lot of pools around the area that had a lot of issues that were built by other companies. But this one's been really good. I was also able to call their customer service a couple times with some new guy saying that I didn't know I was supposed to be doing. And they were extremely helpful and helped me fix some of the problems over the phone. They are well worth money.

I worked across the street from the location of Blue Haven for a number of years. Since they had a showroom that I could go to and I could see samples, we worked with them on a rectangular pool to go into our backyard to fit the space we were looking for. We wanted a water feature, a sun shelf, some stairs, and a ledge. They listened to everything we had to say, then they were able to put together something for us that was amazing. That really helped make things smoother. They also suggested some things as far as extra patio space which they said we might need, and we loved that because we didn't feel like they were trying to upsell us on anything.

I like Blue Haven's stuff better than Cox Pools. We went with Blue Haven and they helped quite a bit with the financing. My rep's name was Nick, and he was very helpful. He did a great job. The girls in the office were really good too. The construction process took 10 weeks. It was good up until near the end when they had to get somebody to take away the extra dirt. Their equipment broke down so it took a little bit longer than normal, but it went really smoothly. They were very informative as well. They got the saltwater pool and an ozone thing. I deal with it on my phone. It changes colors as well. My wife loves the pool. Blue Haven was awesome to work with. If I ever buy another house and get a pool, I would use them again.

Blue Haven is a national brand so there’s consistency there. We decided on them for their safety and design features. It was a great process and their team was fantastic throughout. We recommend them to people thinking about pools all the time. It costs way too much, but they're good people and have a good product too.

Working with the designer went well overall. The pool has a light with a remote to turn it on and I have the spa and in-floor cleaner pop-up system. The construction went well overall, but it was a pain as far as figuring out when the installers were gonna show up. My understanding was because they were working with different contractors, there was no telling exactly when they would show up. But overall, they got the pool done way ahead of time than what they had initially mentioned. They did a good job.

I used Blue Haven with my first pool and now I'm using them again in another house. We bought that house, put a pool in and sold it shortly thereafter. The other house just started and I hope it goes as smoothly as the first one. Dan, the designer, has been great.

Our contactor's name is Larry and he was great. He came on over, explained to us the whole process and what options we could be able to have, and invited us to the brick-and-mortar store that they've got, where he's got his office and can show us some renderings and all different types of materials. He made things very comfortable. So, that was a good reflection of what the business was.

I bought a pool from Blue Haven and I was a return customer. It was my second pool and the plan they created was great. It's consumer-driven, so they really match whatever your desires are. They were phenomenal. I grew up in a construction family and those two words don't go together ever. Construction and phenomenal do not exist, but Blue Haven makes it happen. In fact, the Blue Haven manager in the area came out and spent two and a half hours on my pool deck helping me better understand how to use my pool chemicals.

Each day a team arrives and immediately starts work,. Fast, Efficient and always conscientious that this is your home. They were tidy and respectful. We are impressed with the team and the company. The project turned out even better than what we expected. You could not choose a better company and people to deal with.

Dereck has been incredibly responsive and very helpful with our new pool! We couldn't be happier with the experience with Blue Haven and Dereck. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to add a pool!

Blue Haven Pools & Spas' designer was very good. I brought a picture of what I wanted and Blue Haven drew it up. It was easy and simple. We felt comfortable. There were a few times that we had a bit of confusion or miscommunication, but it wasn't anything that impacted our experience. The only thing negative was we signed our paperwork in June of 2023 but they didn't start until October. They kept saying it was permitting, but our city only takes two weeks to turn around a permit. It was on their end, and that is the miscommunication that I tended to earlier.

We went with the very first design that they came up with. We didn't redo anything. So, we were happy from the beginning. I like the sheers along the stone that we have along the back of the pool. Also, Landon has always been really great to work with.

Do not recommend Haven Pools. My pool project is going on 3 months, still not completed, and I was quoted originally 6 weeks. Project Manager is Austin and he is completely non-responsive. My fence was damaged by the company 3 months ago and still not repaired. If you want to pay $70k for a pool and be ignored then this is your company.

We had an incredible experience with Blue Haven Pools. From start to finish, they were professional, punctual, and friendly. Justin P, the designer, and Travis S the supervisor on the job site were amazing people to work with. The installation team arrived on time and worked efficiently, keeping everything on schedule. Worst pool experience possible. We started digging in May and it is 10/15 and we still cannot use our hot tub or pool (Heater that has been worked on twice doesn't work). Pool lights still don't work. Quality of work is terrible. We paid north of 150k for a pool disaster. Their service and response is poor. They stood me up for a meeting that took me a week to get and didn't even have enough respect to call. Ed messaged me on the app 35 minutes after he was scheduled to be there to let me know he wasn't going to make it. When we finally did meet, I asked why didn't you call? He stated and I quote "I don't give out my phone number and I don't call, I only message through the app". Buyer beware. No one at Blue Haven cares about you after you make the final payment. Reach out to me before you hire this company. Mike

Our Blue Haven designer was amazing. The main reason I went with Blue Haven was because of Larry. I can't even speak highly enough about this guy. He knew my vision, he put it on paper, and he walked us through the whole way. He cares, and that's what's lacking with a lot of these companies nowadays. If it wasn't for Larry, I wouldn't have went with Blue Haven. The customer service with Larry is the best. Our pool has all new high technology. The quality of each one of them is amazing. I had built a pool with Blue Haven before. Some other people had talked me against it, but once I met up with Larry, I knew I was gonna go with Blue Haven again. We sold our house recently, so I am looking to build another pool.

The pool plan was what my wife wanted and it was done a couple of times so, Blue Haven got it right. They gave us a view of one and then, we liked a different little view so they redid it for us. The guys who did the tile were good. I sat down with them at lunch and talked about what they were doing and how they were gonna do it. They took care of everything that we asked them to. The permits were done on time and the lady owner, Akira, was very attentive. She answered my phone calls and text messages right away. Blue Haven was very good. Their price was what we could afford and did for us better than anyone else. Everyone else was a lot more expensive. When you build a pool, there are always things you want different when you're done. I'm finding it out. I'd do things a little differently now because I know more about the pool. But overall, Blue Haven did what we asked them to do and was very prompt.

I heard about Blue Haven Pools & Spas because when we first moved here, our neighbors told us that was who they went through. But after doing more research and getting to know people, that was a majority of who people used. So, I liked the company as a whole. I like the hospitality. They felt down-to-earth. They didn't seem pressuring. I like that the designer was a vet. He lives two streets over from me, so it wasn't somebody that I had to talk to over the phone. The project manager was also a vet. It was cool because my husband is a vet. If we needed questions answered, they were right there or a phone call away or text message away. It was a quick process, too. They started digging for a hole mid-August. It was officially done at the end of September.

We got an indoor pool and the design is exactly what we wanted. During construction, the ones I worked with the most were mainly Nate and Tom. Everything went well. I had some other challenges with another builder that was working on the building, but with Blue Haven, I have no complaints at all. They did everything they said they were gonna do, and they were on time and here when they said they were gonna be. I like the pool. We have the smart LED lighting, which is great, but what I like the best is the smart control of the heater, the filter, and the chlorinator. I can do everything online and I use that all the time.

Despite communications issues during construction of pool, really like the finished product. Contract workers showing up without prior notice and lack of communications through the builder trend app to notify us that work would be scheduled could have certainly been better. Overall subcontractors worked hard to complete the pool in adequate time. Appreciate intervention of Mr ** to bring construction to finish. Rate Jorge 5 stars in explaining after care and maintenance of pool.

I had a great experience with Blue Haven. The designer came out, listened to everything I had to say, went back, drew up a plan and it was spot-on. I'm very happy. The price was also fair, and the installers got the pool done in record time. I was there from day one. The guy came out and marked the pool out, and he was great. We talked a lot and he got it all laid out, and then we started digging. There was a tree and I was originally not gonna take it down, but they suggested that I take it down because it was a pine tree and it would be really hard on the pool. We talked about that, and they took the tree down. Every phase of putting the pool in was amazing.

It took four months to build our pool and we had no issues with Blue Haven. It went smoothly and the pool is perfect. It's exactly what we wanted and we're enjoying it every day.

Blue Haven was recommended by somebody else who had a pool done, and the entire process from the time I met with the first person (the sales and design person) was professional. They met the appointments when they said they were, and they overcommunicated with us and gave us some good ideas. From start to finish, the process took a month and a half. The rep told me it could take as much as three months, but we were proactive about making a deal to have it done and sign a contract early. It was a long process, but they did a really good job of communicating throughout and making everything happen when they said it was gonna happen. It was a good experience all around.

I showed the rep a sketch I had first then he created something with that. We adjusted it several times before we finally got to the end result. But Blue Haven works with a whole bunch of subs. Everything other than the original design of the pool is with subcontractors. You wait, you go through one subcontractor, then you wait for the next step. From what I've heard from everybody else who's built a pool with other companies around here, it was the same deal, but I didn't realize how disconcerting it would be to have all of those subs. It made it a very stressful three months, getting it built.

Working with the rep, Jerry, was great, and I like the features and the decorative aspects of the pool. We recommended and our neighbors are getting a Blue Haven pool.

I would recommend Blue Haven. It was a very easy and flexible process with their designer. He came to our house, which was nice. We did all the design on the computer and made changes as we wanted before signing the final contract. Some of our plans had to change because of our slope and landscaping issues at our house, but everything was smooth. Before starting, they made sure that we were all in agreement with our current plan and the changes. Jessie was our main contact person. She just emailed everything or I called her if I needed to. Everything that was gonna happen through each step of the process was communicated. I could also call the other men if I had any problems or questions. They were very helpful as well. They started in February and were done in May. It was supposed to be done a little bit earlier in May, but we got two weeks of super heavy rain.

Our Blue Heaven pool is nice. The construction went well. We also have an app from our phone and it's got a couple of water features.

I love the pool plan that Blue Haven made for me. All the interactions I had with their reps were professional and positive.

Blue Haven was recommended by one of my friends. I saw the pool they put in for him and I liked it so I decided to give them a call. They kept me updated on how things were progressing -- whether it was from the electrical side or the gunite side, they were professional and they did a great job. I love the pool design and the plan created for us. It works great for our family. Also, it has the smart controller for the water pump. I would tell others they're a great company and I highly recommend them.

Blue Haven was recommended by a neighbor and it was an excellent experience with them. It was one of the best positive learning experiences of my life. They said I would have to wait because they had a backlog, but they were the best. They were thorough and didn't oversell. The designer took a look at the yard and took my concept into consideration. We went through several renditions and laying out the deck space and what my needs were for grandchildren.

The designer with Blue Haven spent a lot of time. We made a lot of adjustments to the pool on and off on phones, email and calls, and he was very receptive to our changes. They were giving us a standard rectangle with a pool shelf. My wife made some designs for the stairs and gave it a little bit more than being a plain rectangle so it came out pretty nice.

Ricky, the guy who was our start up contact was awesome. We were, overall, pleased with the design process as it went. But were displeased when we found out that what they had designed and what we had asked to purchase was different from what was doable. For example, the pool equipment had to be moved significantly from where they had put it and the shape had to change. As it was told to me at the time, the company underwent a significant change in management and we were dealing with the new management when it came time for construction. Our designer left the company. But the project manager worked with us to come up with alternatives we liked and in the end, we're very happy with the pool. We've got a couple of sheer drops and the hot tubs spill over. I'm also very happy with the Hayward equipment.

We went with standard rectangular pool with a splash pad and I love it. I also love that it came with a smart vacuum. It's amazing. Everything ran smoothly with Blue Haven and I would 100% recommend them. They were pretty prompt and the only thing that delayed the process was nothing on them, it was just the permit approvals.

We like that Blue Haven is a reputable company and they're nationwide. Beverley did an outstanding job with designing the pool. She was able to go through each parts of the design with us and the components for the pump and filter system. We were on a tight budget so we went with the basic design, which is what we told her at the very beginning. We wanted something that we could do laps in and she was able to make something suitable for us. It's a 14 wide, 21 feet long pool and we got the ozone device put on. Blue Haven did a good job for us.

Blue Haven's pricing was reasonable and I liked my comfort level of talking to them. Plus, we're in a HOA, so they knew what would pass. Their reps were pretty straightforward and working with them was great. We had some Zoom calls, then we went through designs, and they asked what we wanted. They took measurements right away, then they had our renderings. We then went to their facility and saw all the various options for tile, etcetera. We didn't know what we were looking for, so they were suggesting based on the shape of the backyard what would fit best as well as the restrictions on where to build the pool, how far it should be from the fence, and what the HOA required.

The pool was installed in 2004 and the tile had started to come off. In the summer of 2023, we hired Blue Haven to replace the tile with new tile, reattach it, and put on new coping, which is the brick above the tile. They did a good job and did it quickly. They seemed efficient as well. The product is expensive but it looks nice and we're pleased.

Blue Haven's salesperson, Don, laid out the information and was there on the table and I said, "Wow, that's expensive." So, my wife and I looked it over, got a couple of other bids, and it put us on a back burner for almost 12 months. I called Don back and said, "Okay. I know it's been a little while. What do we do if we wanna go forward?" He said, "Well, we have to go back out and re-look at things." I said, "That's fine." So, he did. My wife and I looked at each other and said, "Well, let's get one more bid." We did and this guy on this other center was $40,000 more. I said, "What are we getting with that?" He said, "Well, you're getting your basic and you're getting this part of concrete and that part of concrete, this, that, and the other." So, we went back to talk to Don again and said, "What are we getting?" He listed what we were getting, and they've lived up to everything. We got a pool heater and a better filtration system.

I had Blue Haven install a pool. The designer was good. They had a project manager, Jason. He was new to the process and didn't have much experience. He was a really nice guy. But they don't have their own in-house workers. They sublet a lot of the work. So, there were some issues and difficulties with the third party labors. They didn't have organization. They didn't show up when they were supposed to show up. The quality of some of their work was mediocre at best. Overall, it was okay, but there were some things that could have been done better. I'm still under warranty with Blue Haven within the next few months and I'm having some issues that they haven't been able to resolve yet. So, I'm working with them to see how they're gonna find a way to resolve them with my pool equipment.

The designer pushed a lot of questions that we had on to whoever the foreman would be. Then the foreman, vice versa, said, “Those are things that should have been handled by the designer.” So while I was happy with the design of the pool, there were some information that I needed that I had asked upfront that was not provided, and as that played out, was an issue. Also, the foreman should have been on site more. He was rarely ever on site and because of that, we ran into multiple issues that could have been prevented. We could have caught some of these issues early.

For the most part, working with Blue Haven was pretty smooth. They did a demo of the different materials and different pool types and they were knowledgeable about the pool experience. Then, they made the financing part of it simple and straightforward. They ran our credit and made sure that they found the lowest rate for us. Once we got financed, they set a date, came out, and started digging. It took about two months from the start to complete.

The designer from Blue Haven was very good. We told him what size pool we wanted, and the shape of the pool. We had an existing slope in the backyard. He had to come up with some designs to level the pool out and still make it look aesthetically good in our backyard. He followed through and gave us a great plan. If we didn't like it, he made changes to it to our specifications. He did it pretty professionally.

We designed the pool and the rep helped us put everything together. She was very knowledgeable. We like the whole pool design, including the tanning ledge and the hot tub. Blue Haven made it known what the cost was per item so we were able to pick and choose what we wanted to. We could have put less in and paid less money, but we chose not to. We were well aware of what they were charging before they even started. They did a good job and always kept in contact with me even to this day. The superintendent over the pool was a good person all the way around. I recommended Blue Haven to a buddy of mine. He's a builder that I work for and they're putting one in for him right now.

Picked Blue Haven do to the 4.9 stars for reviews on their site. Process started off good but soon went down hill. The PM they assigned to our project was either inexperienced or just didn’t care. Communication was poor to say the least and even at one point went and talked to the GM at which I thought might make a difference. Nothing changed and even asked to have the PM removed for another and was told we couldn’t. Finally after the pool was finished and the punch list items began we then found out the PM quit and we were dealing with his supervisor (whom we had been along the way Copying him on all correspondences).

We got financed for the pool that we had from Blue Haven and the process was easy enough. Their designer was helpful in helping us get a design made up that would work for our yard. We have the HOA, which I found 100% confusing, so he helped us navigate through all those type of things in the beginning to jump through their hoops to give them what they needed because I didn't understand what we were supposed to give them. I would have not known what to do to get the HOA, so he was very good with that stuff. We had tons of options because of our backyard's size. But we knew what we were looking for and they were able to do that for us. We were happy with how it turned out. We have a spillover from the spa into the pool, which I like. We also got lights in the pool.

Blue Haven built a small cocktail pool for us. They're slow. It took eight months and I still haven't got my permit yet. I got an email a month ago saying they were still on hold.

Blue Haven is way overpriced and their customer service could have done a lot better. It took a while for them to get started on my pool and it took them a while to build the pool. Then they were bragging about getting a pool done in five days right down the way. I was wondering was I not important enough to get it done like they got it done with the guy down the street. That was frustrating.

It was excellent service and they did what they said they were gonna do when they said they were gonna do it in good mechanical and form. It's a very basic design which they helped me with and with the stair outline. My wife has two bad knees so they made the stairs less steep. I give them the highest recommendation possible.

The reps from Blue Haven were very informative. They told us what we needed to expect and what crews would be here. They spoke very little English but the rep would be here to decide for anything that needed to be done. I had my pool resurfaced and it took a week, which was perfect.

I told Blue Haven what I wanted and we worked together to come up with something. My husband freehand drew it on a piece of paper and said that was what we wanted our pool to look like. Then they designed it on the computer and showed us what it would look like with everything. I was able to go and figure out what I wanted for it and they put it in. The only thing that I had requested was a bubbler put on my sundeck to help keep the water stirred up so dirt doesn't collect there. But I'm so glad that they suggested we put a little waterfall on there, because it improved the look of the pool and I enjoy having it. When I'm spending money on a large investment like that, I want it to be what I want so that I can enjoy it, and they were able to deliver.

Blue Haven had a fair price and good reputation. They had good quality. And during the process of selection of the materials, they had fairly nice quality materials. We were happy with the installation. The manager and the team lead are all good with communication. I had no problems with them. When I needed something, they were there. They were addressing my issues. My next-door neighbor had a pool also being built at the same time, and they had issues. I didn't. I was happy with that. They completed the construction as they promised. It started in June, and it finished in October.

It was the first time my wife and I ever had a pool built and the experience with Blue Haven was very informative. We had never done anything like that before so we didn't realize how the rep could design the pool with us standing right there telling him in our mind's eye what we would want but he was able to do that all in his graphic design. It was really easy and we could see what our yard was gonna look like before they even started working on the pool. The paperwork and all the stuff they did for us were really nice and our project manager was really good. Even when there wasn't anything planned for a week, he would still contact us and he kept us in the know about when they were gonna be doing what and we could make plans around it. There were tons of people coming in and out of the yard and he stayed on top of it. My mother and father-in-law are having a pool built and we've requested the same project manager.

It was great with Blue Haven Pools & Spas. Daniel did a good job on the 3D drawings. Every time we'd make a change, he would redo the drawing so we could see what it was gonna look like. They changed things when we needed it to be changed and did things to make it fit the city code. It was a big construction project. There were little bumps in the road about some plumbing and we had to change some equipment and tune in the system. But they were very honest and did everything they said they'd do which was to build a great pool. We have the OMNI automation system and a SmartPure system. We also have LED lighting. The main thing was honesty with Pedro who runs the company. He did everything he said. They've also come and fix things afterwards for free.

The whole experience was good and we're very happy with the pool itself. They were able to make the modifications to it as we went along. We were really happy with that. We have smart features, heater, and inlays in the pool with turtles and we're going to have smart deck installed within the next couple weeks. We recommend Blue Haven highly. They're not the cheapest solution by any stretch but we were really happy with the whole experience and the final product.

We sent our idea to Blue Haven and they sent us back one shape of pool and we went from there. We added a tan ledge and changed the location of the steps. We gave up some things because the cost is outrageous but what we were willing to spend is pretty much what we got. Our salesperson, Pete, was very helpful beyond the actual sale. He made it easy and we can text him if we have any issues. The project overseer man was our most difficult interaction because he was so busy and hard to get ahold of if we needed something or if we had a question or something wasn't right. He was great when we were elated about everything going on but the second that we had a snafu, there was lack of communication. But we were always able to get ahold of somebody who could go get him.

Bucky at Blue Haven Pools is absolutely amazing. He cares about the customer and helps however he can. He called after he came out just to check on me with the pool. Blue Haven needs to give Bucky a raise….He deserves it!!!

It was a wonderful experience with Blue Haven from the sales process to financing to the materials all the way to the project manager, the contractors that they brought in, and the warranty. The pool builders, Mike and Francis, communicated well. They told us what was going on and they were easy to get ahold of. We paid a little bit more but it was worth it. They have nailed the process of building pools.

The designer of Blue Haven helped with everything we weren't thinking of, like helping to pick out tile options and the biggest thing was the water feature we put in. It's an 18-foot raised wall that goes up a couple of feet and it has sheers coming out of it. The construction team provided good communication through texts, emails and calls. We always knew what was going on. It was overall a positive experience. Even now, if I have a question about something, I'll just text one of the guys and they get right back to me. They’re a great company with a great crew and a great designer.

We have a small yard and Blue Haven has a pool that's small called a plunge pool. It's also heated and has jets like a spa does. We did have another pool company come and it was like night and day. Blue Haven Pool came out and measured everything. They did a 3D drawing of what this thing was gonna look like before we even started. Anything I needed to change, they just changed right then.

Blue Haven was very prompt and they responded to every question I had. The whole part was about eight weeks. We were really quick to start and we saw a lot that first week or two. Then we were at a standstill for three weeks and after they did the rough end part, it just took a while for the next step. Also, we did the sun shelf and we changed the scale of the pool. They did a good job and I'm happy with the finished product.

I decided to go with Blue Haven because I liked the energy of the lady who sold the pool and she explained everything step by step. She really sold the pool and let us see exactly what it would look like. She made me see our yard in a whole different light. She met our expectations. I went in to pick out the tile and coping and all the finishes. She made it easy, letting us see everything together and then was able to put it in the computer design so that we could see what it would look like all together. So, I really loved that. She was friendly and helpful. Also, Blue Haven made financing easy and that was the biggest part. Even the installers would come in and let us know everything that was going on and the next steps to come. So, I felt very informed through the whole process. I had a very good experience.

We went with a company that seemed to have the best reputation for getting the job done and following through, and that was Blue Haven. The designer listened to our desires. We've made some adjustments along the way and it was not a problem. It worked out well. We wanted a smaller pool that was equal to the patio that we had built, which is 22-foot wide. Blue Haven could only go out so far 'cause there's a pond so there's a fence. We had them build a 10 by 20 plunge pool, which turns out great for us. We put some tiles at the edge of the steps. Our neighbors had recommended getting the glass tile inlays at the end of the steps. They didn't get them and it's hard for them to see the edge of the steps. We got to choose the color of the final material, which turned out great and the tiles.

Blue Haven had a smooth process. I just filled out an application online, and then their person who's in charge of the loans communicated with me what was going on with the pool loan, the steps, and the payments. If I had any issues, it was easy to reach out to them via email. They’d reply back usually the same day, but it was always within 24 hours. I used to be in banking, so it was a really easy and pleasant experience.

My experience with the Blue Haven designer is a mixed bag. Originally, we had somebody come out. We were very happy with him. He was from the Exton office. We were given a number, kind of scratchy on the pad, with loose details of what we wanted and estimated prices. Then the pandemic happened and when we called back a month later, he was going out for an illness. So, we were moved to the head office. At that point he came out, the design had to be redone. There was a lot of going back and forth on design and where would it be located, but my dissatisfaction was with the numbers of how much this would cost in actuality. Whereas, I feel like maybe with the person from Exton, I might have been able to get those numbers sooner. So, that created a delay in our process.

Blue Haven was able to do what we needed financially and the financing process with them took a week. But during the project, they kept taking different amounts of money out. Other than that, we talked about what we wanted with the designer and they showed us some different designs. We went with what we could afford which is a figure eight pool. It’s got a lounger area and has a spa attached to it. It's also got a deck area around it that we had installed. And it's nice. I also like that we got it heated. During the construction, they set the dates when they were going to be doing things through Buildertrend and we made sure we were available if they needed us.

I told the rep what I wanted and he drew up a plan that was pretty close. Then we tweaked it a little bit more. It was pretty smooth. The installers that came in were okay. But they left a lot of trash around my yard. Other than that, everything was good. They had to come out and acid wash my pool because they left footprints all in my pool everywhere.

I enjoyed their service. Mike, their manager, was awesome. Everything was fine. They explained everything. They even have an app that you can go in and follow the progress. The pool is beautiful. It's exactly what we wanted.

Everything was 100% awesome and the communication was really good. Everything went smooth and quick. From the time they started to dig until the time we were swimming was six weeks. We ended up doing a hot tub with the waterfall edge.

I liked that Blue Haven's prices were compatible, and the salesperson wasn't pushy. He left it in our court and said, "Okay, give me a call if you're interested and you wanna go with us." The financing part was really easy because once we got the estimate, they sent that over to a bunch of different in-house financing. They had asked if we wanted to finance. So, I went online and filled that out. Then the person that was handling that reached out and said, "Here's a couple of offers. What are you interested in?" Then we just picked. It was really painless.

Outstanding. We had three pools built for us over the years and by far Blue Haven has proven thru their actions to be the best. From their designer (Rick R.) to their wonderful and efficient office staff (Morgan) to their operations superintendent (Thomas) we had the best home pool building experience. Equally important is the superb communication process throughout the pool building process and the continued accommodation to the homeowners. We appreciate the smooth operations from dig out to gunite to the paver install.. The crews did an excellent professional job with minimal disturbance. It was such a pleasant experience to deal with such professionals to include their finance personnel. Blue Haven made the whole process a great experience for us. Without hesitation, if you desire a pool, highly recommend BH built you a quality pool. Hands down.

Installing was 10 star and installer had excellent customer service. I had so much fun watching my pool get installed. My family and grandchildren was so surprised when I showed them the new pool GRANDMA

Working with Blue Haven Pools & Spas' designer was very easy. I knew what I wanted. It was no fuss. I don't like a lot of stress. So, we were in and out, picked our stuff out. He worked with us. We have a small yard. Blue Haven listened to my problem. They listened to what I wanted, but they put me back into reality. So, my total design was changed by their expertise. I trusted them a lot to change my whole design.

Everything was perfect with Blue Haven. Everything looks great and was done super well. Also, if I ever had a concern, it was addressed immediately. We have recommended them.

The designer was helpful in showing us different possibilities and the whole process was great. We went back and forth and had some general things that we wanted. We love the pool. We just had some maintenance headaches because we didn’t understand something. We started having issues with our pool and we found out it didn't have any stabilizer in it. No one ever told us anything about it. So, we ended up with a pain that was completely avoidable had more information been communicated to us, especially as a first-time pool owner. The education that Blue Haven provided was incomplete. We followed every instruction that we were given and still started having some issues with the pool so, I hired somebody to come out. We were putting chemicals into the pool for nothing because nothing was holding it into the water. But other than that, the construction was fine and the experience with Blue Haven was good for the most part.

We looked at about five different companies and Blue Haven came out and gave us a quote. Theirs was competitive with some of the other companies. Also, there was just something about Chris when he came out with Blue Haven that was wonderful. He was so detailed and patient. We met Blue Haven also at their location on Ashley Phosphate. It was a wonderful experience. Then COVID hit. Chris called and said that they were gonna stop building for a while. He said, “After COVID, we believe price is gonna go up. We think anywhere from 20 to 30%. Do you wanna lock in?” He told us that locking in meant that it locked in our price for one year. We said we were okay with that.

The design is what my wife and I asked for, and there weren't any construction issues. The quality is good too.

I put in a pool with another company but I didn't like the way they set up their fees because all the money was upfront before the activity was performed. So, they were using my money to finish up another job. But Blue Haven was just the opposite. I didn't pay them anything until the task was done. They had their work activities separated in different categories. When they finished one activity, they billed me and then when they finished another activity, they billed me. They were very quick and easy to work with. They let me come up with some of the ideas that I was looking for, and they took that and came up with a design for what I was looking for. They probably enhanced it from their experience so, the design came out good.

I called up Blue Haven and talked to Brandy. She told me they'd dig in four to six weeks and all that happened. Brandy and her husband, Sean, came out to do the initial design. Then, the crew would come and do one thing and come back in a couple of weeks. It was a different crew each time.

We were happy with the whole process at Blue Haven. They helped us out and we were very open to changes and we used the app a lot to communicate with them. We enjoyed the whole process. We custom-built the whole thing. We had a waterfall feature that we like a lot and we added a spa and a bubbler as well. They also did it right within their window. They also answered any questions we had, which was nice, and they explained the process when we were out there with them. But they didn't bother us any time we didn't wanna talk to them. I like that the lights in the spa are all on the app. It's nice. The best part is I can turn on the spa when I'm out at dinner and have it warm by the time I get home. We would definitely use them again.

Our designer is Tyler. He was great. I really liked him. He was very friendly, nice and helpful. The construction of our pool went smoothly. However, when they plastered the pool, the plaster got on our AC unit, but they came out and replaced it. They took care of that.

Their entire presentation of Blue Haven of being able to put it into a 3D drawing and showing me what it could potentially look like was cool. Everything went well during the installation, too. Our pool is rectangular. The extra add-on that I had done was a tanning ledge and a couple of bubblers. We also made the pool a little bit bigger than their standard size.

Blue Haven has good prices compared to some other people I looked at. They were easy to work with. Weather held us back a little bit a couple times. But as far as it going up, it was quick. The building process was great. We got what we wanted. But it was the final stages of Blue Haven that we had issues with. Once the pool was built, they did what they call pool school. That did not go too well. Some of the equipment was installed incorrectly. We had to have someone come out and fix some of the stuff that was installed. Then we were told that the size of the heater that they put in for the size of the pool we had was way too large. But I was never told that by Blue Haven.

Blue Haven sent a sales rep out and he was a nice guy. He's been doing it for a long time so he was able to show us what we could do. He looked at the backyard and we agreed on what we would want and what that would cost. That went well. Then, we worked together with the designer to come up with something that we liked. They convinced me that the size was the right size. I would have made it a little bigger, but I'm glad that we didn't.

I like the price of Blue Haven. The designer was a good guy. He was friendly and he showed us what could we do and how could we put it. We have a small backyard. He said, "You guys can do this and that." Drew up a plan for us. We liked it. Everything was good. Everything was what they said and it was on time and it was scheduled. We had a problem with an electrical thing that went out and they called us the next day and fixed it. My family loves the pool. We got the jacuzzi and a little bed where you can sit in the water and still be in there.

Blue Haven is more efficient and has better pricing than the other companies I got a quote from. I also like that they are local to the area. The sales people did great. I had sent them the survey of our lot, and they already had something drafted and ready to go by the time they got here to show an idea of what things would look like. I appreciated that aspect. They were also offering a special during that month. Our lot is small so I was limited on what I could go with, but they helped with showing me how it would fit and look in the yard to pick the right choice for us. They were open to me adding things and telling me things that might not be necessary for that size.

We like the quality of Blue Haven pools. Working with their customer service was a seamless process. They were very informed and very educational for us. I appreciated that they were very knowledgeable. The construction process went very smoothly and they always informed us of when things were gonna be done. They were very timely and the quality of their work was phenomenal.

They were very good from start to finish. We had no issues with anybody from Blue Haven. The project manager was in communication with us almost daily. They also have a product called Builder Trend that they updated to keep us informed exactly the status of the project. Overall, the whole process was easy. They stayed on task, and it took about eight weeks from start to finish. So they did an excellent job.

I liked the person that I met with initially but the rest of the process was a horrible experience for me. My experience with the construction workers were not pleasant. I had two new gates put in and they destroyed both of the new gates. I had a fence that they had to use to enter the property and they broke the fence and the fixture. I had a electric power thing installed so that I can have electricity to the pool and they broke that, too. They did a lot of damage and they were not clean. One of the guys went behind my shed and relieved himself, which was not cool. I told Blue Haven all that in an email.

It was amazing when we first started with Blue Haven. The owner, Bob, came out and did an assessment of what it would take to do a pool. He was able to write an entire pool estimate right from a calculator. I found that to be quite impressive that was why I took him so seriously and ultimately did the deal with Blue Haven.

We have a freeform pool that has fountains and a hot tub spa that flows into the pool. It also has two tanning ledges where there are two different depths. The pool changes colors and has little features. I like it a lot. It's the best thing ever. It has changed our lives Blue Haven has good people. They're all respectful of our space.

Blue Haven is good company to build a pool. The price was excellent. The water feature and the LED lights are nice. I love them. The only thing I'm upset with is that we haven't had a final inspection.

We had a really nice sales rep. He was really straightforward on what we could afford and things we could do. So that was pretty good. We're happy with the way the pool turned out. The crew was mostly pretty good. We had some issues where they haven't come back to fix stuff. They had to put a thing on our spout for the auto fill and it's still dripping and no one's come back to fix it. We wanted the special part for the filter and the guy got confused on what we wanted. So we got something else that was more expensive and we didn't get the one we wanted. It was one little part we wanted that was supposed to clean the dog fur. But we got this part that helps to clean the water.

Blue Haven employed an independent architect to come here and give us a couple of designs to choose from. And we liked those designs the best. They managed people flow in and out of the house to the pool and kept the pool area safe. It took more than a year and a half to build the pool and the first thing that happened was the ground was broken. Then the electrical filaments were laid and the gunite support was established. They had to let that sit for a while to settle because they had to carve this place out of the hill. And it wasn't virgin ground, so they needed the time for it to settle. When wintertime came, they sprayed the gunite and created the shell. And once again, that had to cure for months.

The rep was very attentive. He answered anything we had questions about pretty quickly. The process started in February and we were in our pool by May. The installation was nice and clean. The techs did a great job. We recommend Blue Haven.

I would recommend Blue Haven to anyone. They were willing to build the pool how I wanted it and their customer service was amazing. From the first time that I met them to the last day that it was completely finished, they did everything that I asked and also had an answer for every question that I asked. If there was an issue, they got it solved immediately. I gave them a deadline when I needed the pool built by and they had it done two weeks beforehand. It was a tight time frame, but they still pushed it. Even after, any time I've called them about anything about the pool, they've answered the phone immediately. When I have an issue, they send a tech out immediately that day. If not, the very next day. It was one of the best experiences I've ever had with a company, whether it be a pool company or not. Their service was one of a kind. It was so good that my father-in-law didn't even need a pool but he had Blue Haven build him a pool too because of how good it was.

My rep was really sweet and knowledgeable. She listened to what we wanted and designed a beautiful pool for us. We got a free form pool with three waterfalls and the tanning ledge. Everything was great with the construction crew and there was never a delay. We didn't have any rain during that process so they were able to work every day. The work took seven weeks and everything went smoothly. We're extremely happy with the final product. We've had one summer to enjoy it so it's definitely been worth it.

Blue Haven's designer was very good. He suggested to raise the hot tub, instead of being down in the pool, and I liked his idea. Our pool is a freeform one that has a tanning ledge and a bench in the back. It's got a pebble gunite finish and it's very pretty. I also have a tablet that controls color, fountains and the filters. I like being able to control it all from inside my house rather than having to go outside and turn everything on and off. The pool has bubble jets as well, which is my favorite thing.

Blue Haven has been very responsive to any questions or help I needed. The customer service team is always willing to take calls and answer questions. When I asked questions, the designer was able to ask what my use would be and what I would want. She made some suggestions and gave me some options and what the price of those options would be as I tried to decide which things I wanted that would be within my budget. The financing was great as well. I just had to go online and fill out an application, and the lady that was managing it emailed me back all the paperwork and terms. All I had to do was fill it out.

Blue Haven was very professional. I was happy with their service. They also had a good design. I like the waterfall, the changing the shape of the pool and the slide. The lighting situation and the automation are all good, too.

The designer from Blue Haven was great, very easy to work with and understood what the restrictions were for my small backyard. The pool is a regular long rectangle with three steps on the left side and a little bench on the right side. It's half a P, just small enough to swim and exercise in. It has LED lights that change colors for the light to the pool. I have some concerns though and I’ve reached out to Blue Haven. The Kool Decking that's around it is already chipped. Blue Haven said they were on it but I haven't heard anything in weeks.

Erin, the rep, was very knowledgeable, kind, professional, and patient with us. It's our first pool and we were a little on the fence about it for a few years before we decided to pull the trigger. So, we had a lot of questions. Erin was good at answering those over and over again throughout the process. Nothing was hidden. It was all in writing and all as it should have been throughout the process when the payments were due.

We told Blue Haven what we wanted as far as the design. We got a rectangle pool, 14 x 28, with a spa. Considering that we are way out in the middle of nowhere, they did very well as far as people being here and getting it done. It was done a lot quicker than what we saw. It didn't take six months. They did say that it would take longer than it took, but it was completed in a very timely manner. I like the pool. It came with the LED lighting that changes color. What we weren't happy with is when they did the coping and put the grout in, they did a very poor job with the grout all the way around the pool and around the spa. They had to come back and redo that.

We had a great experience with Blue Haven Pools. They were wonderful and everybody who worked on our team was good. We had some issues with lights and the polymeric sand coming out of the pavers, but they fixed it immediately. We love the pool. Things went well and the only negative is that when the salesperson comes out and they're telling you the length of time and when it would be done, they tell you it would be 8 to 12 weeks. They should stress that Florida has a lot of rain and things get delayed, so be more realistic with that time frame because it always goes over. Then the homeowner is upset because their pool isn't done. Had they said it could take five months, I'm thinking five months. I’m not getting excited that it's gonna be done in four.

I gave Blue Haven the plan that I wanted, and they fine-tuned it a bit. I got a 20 by 40 pool that's 4 and 9-feet deep, then I've got a 10 by 10 spa in the middle and a water feature that pours from the spa into the pool, so I get a nice tranquil sound. Everything was good with the construction, with the exception of two things. We had some electrical issues, but they were resolved. The only complaint I have with Blue Haven is the plumber was piss-poor. He didn't sink the pipes deep enough, which prevented me from putting in a cabana house, which I had on my original plan. That was the only bad aspect of the job. Everybody else was solid.

The team I dealt with for my inground pool made a lifelong dream into a nightmare. They lied to me from the beginning and switched project managers to say 'I didn't say that'. Installation was flawed as well and company will not stand behind their labor and fix the damages they caused.

Our pool was completed in April of 2022. We noticed a rusty spot on the Gunite in the deep end of the pool in August 2022. After several calls, texts and emails they finally came out in November. The spot disappeared but came back. We noticed it when we took the leaf cover off the pool (April 2023). We again left several messages, calls, emails. Finally, after several months (July) a guy came and put Muratic Acid on it (the second time) and here we go again. The spot is now bigger than before and NO COMMUNICATION!!! We pay for Aqua Shop (which does a good job) to handle the chemicals and they've been trying to get someone to call us. But still ... no one's home!! I wouldn't recommend this company due to poor communication and lack of response. Service after the sale is terrible.

Working with the designers was very smooth. It was electronic and I could actually put the pool in the backyard and make everything look the way we wanted it to. We told the designer what we wanted, he drew it and it all came together easily. The shape of the pool worked out really well, so we were generally very pleased with how it turned out. It has a water feature at the back and a rock wall that looks really nice.

Timeline of install and equipment for pool itself seems to be well done. But DO NOT let Blue Haven handle the deck install if you are upgrading to natural stone. This part of the project is subcontracted and the installers (Best View Pavers) do not know how or do not care to properly handle the product. I made several requests that were ignored. I trusted that Blue Haven was proficient with installing stone pavers since they offer several options themselves as upgrade over concrete pavers, but unfortunately this part of the project was obviously not their area of expertise. Just applying a little more effort on the deck install would make a big difference on the end result. Use of wet saw and 1 step up on type of grout, both minimal expense in grand scheme of cost to put in a pool, would greatly increase the customer satisfaction of work done.

Working with their designers was great. They were awesome. They were super hands-on. They came to the house, helped us design things, mocked up some images and made some changes based on feedback. It was a very collaborative time. The pool is like a freestyle shape. We have a hot tub and a little spillover waterfall. It has all the lights in it. Everything is remote controlled so we can turn on the spa, we can change the temperature, we can turn the blowers on, we can change the light colors, all via the remote.

We had a budget that we wanted to stick with and our pool came in at that budget. It's fiberglass. It's blue and it got a sparkling shine to it. It’s like a free-flow design. Got a tanning ledge. It's nice. Blue Haven was easy to work with. They got back to me in a timely manner. They explained everything. They told me how it was all gonna go.

Blue Haven was amazing. I like their timeframes, and when they outsource, everything was on time. The workers were very timely. It was a great experience. I like the quality of the pool. Initially, I had a bigger pool, but then I wanted to downsize it a little. Blue Haven works with you. In their showroom, they have a huge selection of tiles, decking, and even the plaster. They must have a good rapport with the inspectors. I think that's important with the city inspectors, so the inspectors would come out on a timely manner, too. Blue Haven is really good to work with.

We liked the salesperson who was very workable. We needed a smaller size pool. Most of the other companies told us to buy a big pool or buy nothing. But the Blue Haven designer did the design. The pool was up and operational last September. From start to finish, we were very pleased. They were very responsive. When they said they would be here, they were. It was a good experience.

Our designer was really good. We had an idea of what we wanted and a bunch of pictures of the overall layout we wanted. He put that together, created this rendering for us, and it worked out great. We got a modern style pool and it has all the app stuff on it. The crew moved as fast as I would allow them. We were still building the house so we delayed the process a little bit ourselves just because we didn't want construction material falling in the pool. But as soon as we were like, “Hey, they're out,” the crew came in immediately and finished up. The project manager was awesome. There are four other pools in my neighborhood that are getting built and I just said, “Make sure you use Jimmy, the project manager. He's been excellent.” Overall, we like our pool and we enjoy it.

Blue Haven's financing team was really quick and upfront. I told them how much I wanted to put down and everything went through easily. We arranged to put over three quarters down and pay the rest off through a loan. With the pool designer, we had some little changes here and there, but he took care of everything right on time. We sat down with them and told them what we wanted and where to place certain areas for the pool to go in the yard. We added a larger beach area and they were good about it.

We told our pool designer what we were looking for and they sketched it up and it was simple and painless. It's mainly like a small waterfall. We have a unique backyard, so they kind of fit it in perfectly in our backyard. I would recommend Blue Haven. The only thing that I didn't like is some of their pool equipment choices. They don't do saltwater pools, they only do ozone pools. Apparently, saltwater is a little bit better. I didn't know any of this before I bought the pool. Otherwise, it was painless. I would use them again.

We called Blue Haven and once they came and gave us an estimate and gave us an idea of what our pool was gonna look like, and due to the confidence that they had, we decided to go with them. We liked the price, too. Our designer looked at our yard, measured for codes and things, and gave us an idea of how big the pool should be or could be in the area that we were looking at. They gave us a few different options as far as going wider or going deeper. I had a design in mind of what I wanted, so it wasn't really hard. I told them what I was wanting. They had their computer-generated pictures up with the stuff that we wanted, the looks that we wanted and different tiles and the pavers and different things. It was a pretty straightforward meeting. Within an hour and a half of the total meeting time, we had our pool design and we were very happy with it.

Working with the Blue Haven designer was a very smooth process. Everyone we dealt with was very professional. They were top-notch in everything. They met our expectations. They kept us up-to-date on everything and let us know if there were gonna be any delays. I've seen other people complain about things online. But for us, everything was great.

Blue Haven was attentive and helpful in every regard. Everybody was straightforward. They kept a close tab on the progress of the pool as it was being built and asked for our input frequently. They gave us a timeline and got everything done before the timeline that they forecasted. The pool company's owner's recommendation was to add in some side steps towards the deeper end of the pool that I originally hadn't planned on, and those have been great for the kids to sit on the deeper end and be able to relax and take a break for a second.

Blue Haven Pools & Spas looked to be a good company and had what we needed. They have never done an L-shape before, but they worked with us. They were very polite and knew what they were doing. They came in, did the job and asked us if it was to our liking. The workmen were skilled, did well on time, and very helpful. You should use Blue Haven.

Working with their rep Jim was fine. We discussed the pool plan and I made a couple of changes. They went with it so there was no problem. The subcontractors was fine too. The only thing I didn't like was that nobody notified me that anybody was coming. They just showed up and went into the backyard.

To put it kindly, I had a challenging experience with Blue Haven Pools that left me feeling frustrated. There were notable issues with the quality of work and customer service throughout the project. The coping work required several visits to address, yet the problem remains unresolved. Communication with the company fell short of expectations, in particular, with Vicki, Frank, and Nate, some ending quite hostile. I also encountered challenges with the initial cost estimate and experienced excessive delays in construction.

We were very specific but we didn't know what we were doing and the young lady in Blue Haven’s designer area was sweet and knowledgeable. We wanted the pool a little different than everybody else’s and she helped me because I was picking out something that probably wouldn't have popped as much because we weren't getting a lot of the fancy lights.

We live in a community that has a lot of restrictions and we had to get permission from the city for an abatement approval. So, we needed about a foot more to be able to put the pool in our backyard. Mike from Blue Haven helped with that whole process. He knew not only the design but you have to put together a whole plan. Then, we had to take not only the plans and present it to the city to approve, but we also had to write letters to all the neighbors to make sure it was okay. So, Mike was very instrumental. He did 3D layouts and we changed them several times. From start to finish, what Blue Haven did for us was extraordinary and I would recommend them highly.

Blue Haven did the install towards the end of COVID, and considering the circumstance, they were done in a timely manner. Given everything that was going on, it was acceptable. Everybody was fairly nice. They even recommended the lender and we went through them. Overall, my experience was great. Blue Haven was easy to work with. I referred them to my friends, and two got a pool through them as well.

We have a kidney-shaped pool with two jets from Blue Haven. Cost-wise, it was great and we did the financing option. Blue Haven got our pool done when they told us they were gonna get it done. We had a really good experience with them. The whole process took 100 working days and that was the timeline that they gave us. There was only one issue we had. We had to get the patio, like the sand for the pavers. They had to come back and it took them a really long time after the pool was done.

Pool construction: Good; Pool inground jets: Substandard; Pool Deck: Substandard; Pool equipment: JUNK! If BH is your choice, research and purchase your own pool pump, filtration system and UV Ozone. BH uses Hayward equipment, which isn't half bad. However, it's proprietary to BH, which makes it very difficult to get replacement items such as filters and UV bulbs. Research and buy your own equipment as BH equipment will fail you well before the five year mark. After only 4 years I have replaced the pump and the uv ozone system as BH proprietary JUNK has kicked the bucket! A price tag of over $6,000 in one month! Additionally, I discovered they installed a uv/ozone system rated for 20,000 gallons. Problem is that my pool is 29,000 gallons. Someone tell me how the math for that works out because in my numbers world it falls quite short. The pump just flat died!

Blue Haven Pools & Spas is the go-to. What they tell you would happen will happen. My designer was James. He came out, listened to what we wanted, put a picture together, sent us the picture, and we ended up sitting on that design for a while because we got pictures and quotes from other pools and compared what we would get, prices and quality. We ended up pulling the trigger with Blue Haven.

Blue Haven’s rep very clearly laid out a lot of what the project would look like in terms of selection of the materials, what the different phases of the work would be once we got the design approvals to move forward, roughly how long it would take, how the payment process would work and how I could track everything through a mobile app and approve any changes. The construction went as planned. The workers did everything they said they were gonna do. All of the materials came in on time and they put in all the equipment the way it should have. They tested everything. We were waiting on some materials for the rest of our decking for some stone that was out of stock and they couldn't finish the coping until that was done. But there was no delay or holdup on their end. They delivered on time and on budget. The pool is great. We use it a couple of times a week.

The designer was very helpful. He took a lot of feedback and worked around kind of existing constraints. I ended up doing whatever I wanted anyway, but I was very concerned about the level of slope in my yard. There was a lot of push on me in what I wanted as my design because of the amount of slope. But I was satisfied with the timeline. It was good. The crew was fine. They messed up my fence and deck but then fixed it, so it was fine.

I'm totally satisfied with Blue Haven. They did everything I wanted, and everything came out perfect. We really like our new pool. It has a pool heater, and I had a fire pit put in, a patio extended and an area for the kids to sit in. My kids love it.

We told the rep we were looking for a standard pool with a spa and a sun shelf, and he drew something up. It was painless, quick and easy, and the construction team was punctual, friendly and they reply. However, our pool took a bit longer to build because it was during the COVID time and there were supply chain issues. We had a couple of hold-ups for papers as well.

I looked around for the price, the quality, and for the warranty, and Blue Haven Pools & Spas was the best franchise to get a pool. The designer was very informative. He started building the pool right in front of us on the computer screen and showed us a rendering before we left the Blue Haven office location on the first day. He did some tweaking here and there to make exact measurements. But that was what we wanted and what we got.

Bob, the guy who owns the store locally, seemed very knowledgeable. We told Blue Haven what we wanted and he designed it. Our house sits at the top of a hill. So we were going to put the pool in the front of the house on a slope. It was a bit complex because of the slope. But it has a 180-degree view of the mountain range so it was the opportunity to build something really beautiful.

Blue Haven had to make a lap pool that sat on the side of our house and we have four waterfalls. It’s the most beautiful pool I've ever seen. They were ahead of the timeline when it was constructed. I tell everybody to use Blue Haven and not to use anybody else.

Friends ask me all the time, and I tell them that if they built a pool, it has to go through Blue Haven. I hear all these horror stories, but mine was really seamless. We went into the showroom. I got to pick out all of my colors and types of material, and it wasn't pushy. It was just explaining everything and letting us choose what we wanted to do and what was in our price range. Although we upgraded to the nicer plaster, the PebbleTec which is beneficial for us considering would be there long term. And knowledgeable on all the ins and outs so that we could pick where we wanted to spend our money was nice. Any time I needed to make changes, they sent me back a revised quote or contract. And all I had to do was electronically sign it afterward. So, it was very easy. They were on top of it.

I appreciate the system and the quality of the system so I don't have as much maintenance. I also appreciate the kinds of heaters that they put in. I also appreciate the way they trained me so that I could take care of my own pool. I appreciate how quickly they get back to me when I need something. When the seal broke, they sent one quickly. It's beautiful and it's high quality.

We got a pool with a spa done thru Blue Haven. It looks beautiful. Everybody that's seen it is enamored with the pool. It's an ozone pool, so it's a salt pool using ozone as the coronation system. We also got the Aqua pod. We tried to download the app, but it's not been a successful journey so far. The quality of the workmanship and the actual install of the pool is very good. The administration, the coordination with the project managers, and the follow through were not as what I would have expected from a company like Blue Haven and the value of the pool that we put in. They were very quick to do change orders and do all the administration for the change orders, but they did not reach out to me to ask me if there was anything more they could do.

It's been a good experience with Blue Haven. Any issues I've had, they've always been prompt to take care of it. Their team was also very friendly. I'd recommend them.

We got four quotes and they were all within a few thousand dollars of one another. I was asking for a rectangular pool at the time. Paul, the designer, said he would quote me on the size I have laid out and the depth. He also said he would give me some other options that could save me some money. By cutting corners, by making it round instead of square, I saved me some money and we added some more things. We added a chiller and more bubblers and still came in about the same as we were looking at other installers. He saved us some money and got us the same pool area, just not rectangular. I had no idea that it would be cheaper to build a double balloon as opposed to a rectangular pool. That was the selling feature.

Blue Haven's designer was very good. We really exhausted all the options and he made a lot of designs for us. Finally, he came down to one and he had a lot of work done for us. We changed our minds 1,000 times, but he was very patient and he did an awesome job. Then, there were scheduling issues during the construction. But you start one process, then wait for the next process to start. Once they started, it went through and the whole thing took 90 days to finish as promised. But we had a decking issue that we postponed the rest of the crew. If they would have continued, it would have been finished very well. So far, the quality of the pool is great. We did LED lighting and a higher level of the plastering. We did a lot of upgrading, too. Blue Haven's reps at the office were also very nice and I was very happy that we started with them. Whatever we asked, they did for us. If there was something delayed, they would jump on it, then do it all.

The rep got the design spot on the first time around. We love the pool. The only complaint I had throughout the whole process was the amount of time it took. But at the same time, we had nonstop rain, so it wasn't anything about them. They were responsive. I wouldn't say the communication was forthcoming, but every time I asked a question, they responded immediately.

I was getting quotes and came across Blue Haven and I looked at their reviews. They weren't necessarily the cheapest, but they were one of the best prices, but with the absolute best customer service. Everybody else was kind of annoyed that I called them. Blue Haven made me feel like I wasn't a burden. They came out the very next day for a quote. The financing was the only hiccup we had. We didn't quite understand what they did as far as payment and that they only pay a certain percentage each time instead of the whole thing. When we tried to ask about it, the lady was like, “They shouldn't be bothering me with these questions,” even though she was our financial advisor. We didn't really like that. Other than that, it was good. The official manager person, Sean, was very helpful. He was like, "I'm sorry. We'll get it handled."

We did a spa that's attached to the pool so it filters from one to the other. My experience with them was great, from start to finish, with every aspect. They were good to work with and very accommodating. Kris was the project manager we worked with. I could not recommend him more. He was so wonderful to work with, helpful and very on top of things. Always very respectful of our time and has great manners, too. The installers also kept me up to date on their next steps and their schedule and when they'd be here.

My designer did a great job from the get-go. He provided a design that met all of our expectations and fit the backyard perfectly. The communication was great and the schedule was on time. Also, the construction was clean and everything about it was extremely positive. Whenever a few questions popped up, they followed through. I recommend them to anybody who asks me who did my pool. I had an excellent experience with them.

We had gotten a quote from another lender, but Blue Haven ended up working out to be a better deal for us. It was a pretty seamless process. The sales rep did a great job but he could have been a bit better at upselling. There were little things along the way such as the pool cleaner which, if we would have known what we were getting, we would have decided that it might be worth a couple hundred dollars to get a better one. We could have had more options on the design, too. He gave us a base and we tweaked it a little bit. But it would have been good to see what a rectangle pool would have looked like or maybe give us three options to choose from. But we only got the one design. Other than that, they were fabulous from start to finish.

They fully explained our options and we were able to pick what we wanted. There was a little mix up with the design after the fact but they took care of that for us to make us happy without any additional cost. The construction was on time but they made one thing a bit too big. The techs came back and adjusted it. Definitely use Blue Haven. They built a quality pool.

We had met with five different companies and the Blue Haven representative was the only one who noticed that our electrical went through the middle of our yard and needed to be moved and told us to move it or find out how much it would cost to move just before he would draw us up a plan because he knew our budget and wanted to respect it.
