    I am so pleased with my Bath Fitter installation in my upstairs bathroom. When we moved in, we had the original fiberglass tub/show which looked old and didn't seem like it could be refreshed. Bath Fitter folks came out and walked me through my options (although the online tool was super accurate for most things). I decided on the spot to select bath fitter after feeling and seeing the materials they used for their product.

    Installation took just over half a day and I thought I walked into a brand new shower/bathroom. So pleased with the professionalism, quality of work and all around friendly nature of the installation team. I am going to use Bath Fitter in my other full bathroom that is a shower only design. So happy I went with a quality company who uses good materials.

    The bathroom looks great in general. When we had our first shower, we noticed water coming from underneath one of the doors onto the floor. We had Cole, the installer come back and he tried to blame us for not putting the doors in the right position. He said he couldn’t lower the door anymore as it would scrape. He also couldn’t re-create the problem because he was just spraying water on the door and it only happens when it’s splashing off a body that is in the shower. He said he would have to consult with his lead and get back to us in 20 minutes. I emailed after a few days when he hadn’t responded and was told that he would be in touch. I subsequently emailed again but have not received a response. We also asked for a quote for a sheet of acrylic to put on our wall. Have not received a response.

    I am extremely disappointed in the overall Customer Service! It started with the Installer arriving with no mask and it went from there with his disrespect. He placed down the mats to protect my flooring but neglected to cover all the areas which he walked WITH his boots. It was a cold winter day which he continuously left my front door open when he was going out to his truck. On top of this I have an INDOOR cat which I was constantly running to ensure did not get out the door.

    As the work was being done in my en suite, he was therefore in my bedroom to access it. I went to take a peek at one point at the progress and saw he had placed his crate of tool ON TOP of my Hope Chest...I am still in shock that he had such disrespect among many other thoughts regarding this! I immediately grabbed the crate myself and placed it on the floor. He looked at me as if it was not an issue what he had done.

    I reached out to the office the following day to discuss my experience and ask if I would be receiving a survey as to my experience. The receptionist informed me to go on the internet and place a review and wasn't much interested in hearing my concerns. I then called the Head Office (back east) to further escalate and they told me to contact the local office and again had no interest in hearing of my concerns. I then contacted the Salesperson whom I must add was exceptional; he was shocked and extremely disappointed to hear what I shared with him. He provided me with the name of the Manager at the local office.

    I have left him multiple messages and emailed to which I received one voicemail (I was away from my phone when he called) which I have since responded minimum 5 times and provided best times to reach me. He has not made any attempt to call me back. I have talked to the receptionist several times and she is aware of my attempts to contact him. I noted to her that his voicemail says a call back is guaranteed within 24 hours which clearly has not happened.

    As well, there is some verbiage regarding the high standards of Customer Service which clearly is much overstated. I followed up Friday afternoon as I still had not heard back and was informed by the receptionist that when the Manager left for the day he informed her that if I called again to let me know he would call next week! Seriously...very disappointing!

    It takes more than one day. I requested Bath Fitters to remodel my tub to a shower. Paid down $400, total cost would be $7,700. This was last October and installation would be in 12 weeks. I was hoping to have it done for the holidays so I called after Thanksgiving to get an update. They came early in December to measure. Early January I started calling for installation date. They promptly came January 19 and did a good job (so I thought). We had to wait 24 hours before using.

    When we tried shower, water was seeping thru the door (which was too short). I called and reported it and on January 27 the guy came back, turned the doors upside down, and said they would order new doors. Over a month has passed and I have called customer service and am getting the runaround - they promise to call back and never do. I believe they consider the problem resolved (??). Water still seeping and the door is still upside down. Also, because of the glass door we need to change shower head to one with a hose to wash door after use. Am not happy

    After getting 3 quotes and job/work description/explanation I chose Bathfitter for my tub to walk-in shower renovation. The Bathfitter salesperson was very professional and provided a lot of detail in the paperwork he provided. This paperwork proved very helpful when getting approval from the Management Office in my condo building. When the installer arrived he was very professional, careful, and cleaned up everything on both days. The complete job was done in two partial days. I have heard that Bath Fitter will only put the new tub/shower over the existing ones, this is false. They took out the old shower down to the stud and then put the new one in.     We had an in house design consult. We chose our new bathroom. We did not get what we chose. Bath Fitter did not do the job, it was subcontracted to an outfit called Bath Works. They were horrible. We chose a 7 function showerhead, we got a 3 function. We chose a honeycomb design safety bar, we got this God awful thing instead... The installer scratched the main wall, banged thru the bathroom wall into the dining room closet and left it that way. (We did not see this till the next day, we were told it was best to stay out of the installer' way so he could complete the job in a day.) The installer actually stole our 7 function shower wand and 60 year old porcelain fixtures that we were going to sell to a decorator, instead of the 7 function shower we chose, we got a 3 function shower head. We were lied to constantly and we never saw them again...so we are stuck with this disaster. Their customer service is horrendous and that is being kind. Choose someone else.

    First let me say the product and the work that was completed by the demo guy (don't have his name anywhere) and the installer Harry ** was amazing and it made the whole project worth it. Let me also say that the communication from the company was terrible. I originally completed my quote on 11/13/2020 with an install quote of 6 weeks. Yes I understand it is COVID and everything is delayed but there was literally no phone call, email, text or any communication as to when my install date would be. I was starting to think I got scammed by a shell company because I did a deposit down and never heard another word! I tried to reach out to the office number several times (which they have a third party answering service). There is apparently one office person Sharon who is the keeper of all things and nobody else can give information or make a decision.

    I finally got through to Sharon and we set an install day. Thank goodness that I have a good memory and keep a calendar handy or I could have very easily forgotten when 2 weeks later a demo guy just showed up on my door with no forewarning. I asked the demo guy if he has ever had customers not home because they forgot he was coming and his response was "Oh ya all the time". The demo and install went smooth. No issues there. I then was trying to reach Bath Fitter for an updated pricing quote since I knew it should be a lower amount as we did a few less things/different products from the original quote. Again no phone call back, no email back no communication. No final price was given to me before pushing payment through. Very disappointing in this technology friendly world that communication has to suffer.

    I get more communication from my dental office regarding an upcoming cleaning than I do for a ten thousand dollar project. This company could really be so great with just some minor improvements. I can't be the only customer who wishes they had better communication. But the product is really nice and I would recommend it to others.

    We replaced an old bathtub and shower combination with a walk-in shower. My daughter has cerebral palsy and we had to replace the old tub with a walk-in shower. The consultant met with us at home and showed us our options, including the different walk-in height options. We also added a drop-down seat and a grab bar. Of course the consultant is trying to sell, but there wasn't any pressure to close the deal. It was professional, informative, and seamless.

    The installation took about 8 1/2 hours. It was a total rip out of the old tub/shower and the installation was done by one man, Henry, who was absolutely amazing! Great guy, personal, professional and respectful. He used our living room as a staging area and laid down double floor protection so as to not damage our wood floors. The finished product is absolutely gorgeous! It is much roomier than what we had and most importantly, my daughter can easily walk in and out. She also loves the built-in seat. The total price was $7500.00

    I’m still having problems with caulking and I'm having problems getting them to come back here and fix it. The local office here says they don't have the help and once somebody is up this way, they would take care of it. They've been here once already and it did it immediately again.     There are many other bath remodel companies to choose from. Please save yourself potential headaches and missed deadlines, and select a competitor. We had 2 bathrooms remodeled in Oct 2020 at a cost just under $10k. We were on a tight schedule doing a complete remodel on a rental property getting ready to sell. We had to contact our salesman to get updates about the install when dates were missed. The day after installation, our carpet layer noticed water in one of the bedrooms. Immediately we called our salesman who had our lead tech on our job call us. He found that upon removing drywall a nail was pounded in instead of removed which punctured a water line. He cut large holes in the drywall in the garage and the bathroom to find the leak and repair it.

    Two days later a worker came to repair the drywall however he expected us to pay and apply the wall texture. We paid the carpet layer $40 for his inconvenience to come back to lay the carpet after the floor dried from the leak. These delays caused us to miss the weekend open house date set by our realtor. I asked our salesman if Bathfitter would compensate us for our loss. He told me that he doubted that they would do anything because we received a discount. I told him that we selected Bathfitter because of the price after the discount. It was suggested that we didn’t lose very much so we should just drop it. Really? Why should we lose anything when we just spent almost $10k? NO ONE from this company contacted us about the problem at our property. Workers make mistakes however management should practice good customer service.

    I had Bath Fitters do a tub and shower wall insert installed at a cost of around $5,000. Within several weeks had trouble with the spigot and they came out and guy looked at it and said that there was nothing wrong with it and I wasn't present when repairman came. I called back again. This time I was present and it was a different service person. He seen it right away and fixed it. The salesman who came took measurements and showed some samples of the materials used. He had shown me sample of the caulking used to seal the seam between shower walls and the tub part. He said that they a bath fitters sealant that will never stain or anything. Well I beg to differ because the sealant around my tub has discolored in spots and looks nasty and I can't get it off. Very dissatisfied.

    I cannot say enough about Zack the installer for Bath Fitter. He was by far outstanding and very professional. My wife and I truly love the finished installation. The problem I had with Bath Fitter was the lack of communication on their part. My installer started the job and the next day was off due to an injury which no one advised me of after making several calls to the main office. Finally after 3 days I contacted the salesman that came to our home Jim who also is outstanding. I explained to him that after waiting 3 months for the installation to start and finally got started with bathroom being stripped down for installation but no one has returned after day one, and that I had called three times and left messages as to what was going on that finally he was able to have someone contact me on the 4th day to inform me of what happened. I told them that it would have been nice if someone would have contacted myself or my wife as to the delay.

    So with all that the final installation looks fantastic thanks to one of the hardest working young men I know. (Zack) Bath Fitter should award this young man because he was a perfectionist in his completed work. I then thanked Zack and explained to him because of the three month waiting for installation and the problems that happened after day one that I was going to wait 30 days to make sure there were no problems with the installation. I have done this because if there is Bath Fitter would address the issue or issues if any in a responsible time frame due to me still owing a considerable balance. Once the 30 days are up I will go to the Bath Fitter's location in Evansville and make my final payment. Other than that your installers are the best and the products look exceptional.     This is not the first time I have worked with Bath Fitter. I had 2 installations in Florida. My first call to the Lenexa office was met with a friendly and energetic voice. The return call to set the appointment happened within an hour. The sales person who came to the house was on time and was very nice, informative and very helpful. (sorry, I don't remember his name) I received the call after the visit by the salesman with the appointment date and time for the installation. I was sent follow-up emails and phone calls about the upcoming appointment.

    The day of the appointment Josh called to give me the time he would arrive. He arrived and there was an issue with finding the correct shut off for the water. Josh was very patient and after the previous owner stopped by and showed us the correct shut offs for the bathroom Josh began his work. I can't say enough about Josh. He was very friendly, experienced, and flexible. He was a joy to have at our house and worked very hard to complete the job. He continued to work into the evening to finish the job. There was one issue with equipment that will be fixed the next day. The issue was with faulty equipment and not Josh. I thank Bath Fitter for their professionalism, products and willingness to make sure that the customer is fully satisfied. A special thanks to Josh!

    We did the consultation and picked everything we wanted Sept. 25th, 2020. Long story short, I just got at call at 7:15 am today (Nov. 3rd) canceling the install again. This is the third delay and second canceled install, none of which have been our fault. If today's installer called in sick, give us another worker instead of canceling us at the last moment (TWO TIMES NOW) since we have already been waiting almost SIX WEEKS. My advice, don't count on getting your install the next-day!

    After having a shower installed I had to have #BATH FITTER come out 3 times to re-caulk the base. After the 3rd time the ceramic tiles in front of the unit began to crack. #BATH FITTER sent a plumber out who said he couldn't figure out the problem and it "was above his pay grade". That was before that was almost 2 months ago. The #BATH FITTER District Mgr will not return my calls and was only responding by text. When I asked how they would handle the mold problem he would not respond. I have kicked it up to #BATH FITTER corporate and they told me to wait while they check it out. If I had to do it over again I would not use #BATH FITTER again. No telling when or if #BATH FITTER will repair the damage that they caused.

    We had a tub system installed 12/31/2018. As soon as the installer came to the house (one hour early) there were problems. He arrived with the wrong color and design, we refused the order.within an hour the correct Bath Fitter wall and tub arrived, god only knows how well that was done. The guy almost put the hand held shower in the wrong spot(if i wasn't there to watch him it would have been) I had to run out to purchase the holder as they didn't order it with the faucet we purchased thru them. I had to point our that the caulking was not done around the new faucet etc. He quickly did that( it was a holiday so he was rushed). WE waited the 24 hours to allow the tub to dry.

    My mom took a shower which resulted with the kitchen ceiling coming down and floor flooded. Multiple calls to Bath Fitter, no response.WE had to hire a plumber to come and work on the pipes from inside the ceiling as not to disturb the new wall. The plumber informed us the Bath Fitter installer broke the drain. BBB had to be called because no one was returning calls. BathFitter finally returned cal land paid for the plumber bill for the drain. NOW moving forward, the tub is leaking between the liner and the tub. My mother is elderly and trying to stand on basically a water bed, is dangerous. I have seen multiple videos on how to fix, by drilling hole in liner etc not by Bath Fitter. I have already put in one call to bathfitters with no luck. DO NOT PURCHASE! this was a waste of thousands of dollars. Now what are we supposed to do? Shame on you Bath Fitters!

    Back in 2013 we had Bath Fitter come to our home and fit our main bathroom with a tub liner. After a year or so the caulking done around the seams where the wall liner meets the tub started to pull away from the wall when anyone stood in the tub to have a shower. I removed the original caulking at the time and reapplied a good quality name brand caulk and this fixed the problem.

    Then this year while cleaning the tub my wife noticed that the liner that had been installed on the walls of the bath was cracked. We contacted the local Bath Fitter location here in Victoria and they sent someone out to verify the problem. They then scheduled a time about 3 month later to have a installer come out to replace the wall liner under warranty. The wait seemed excessive but since the tub was still usable we were okay with it.

    Finally two Bath Fitter installers came to install the new liner and took about 6 hours to complete the work (there was about a 2 hour lunch break in there as well so...). Curiously, while they were doing the job they made mention of how poor the install was done and that the installer who did the original work had since left the employ of Bath Fitter. Seems kind of odd that their own employees were telling us about the shoddy workmanship of another fellow employee but I guess that's just how they roll, my tub was fixed and all was good again.

    Then about a 3 months after the warranty repairs were done we noticed water leaking onto the floor of the bathroom and realized that the caulking was pulled away from the wall again. I called Bath Fitter to arrange to have them come and redo the caulking only to find out that they had been trying to call me on several occasions over the past three month (they had the wrong phone number?) to collect on a $750 bill that I had outstanding. I was flabbergasted to hear this and when I asked what I owed money for they said that the warranty repairs only covered the parts and not the labor. I was very surprised to find out that the "Limited Lifetime Warranty" the Bath Fitter offers as a sales pitch only covers labor for 5 years.

    On the topic of the warranty, I could find nothing on the Bath Fitter web site that says anything about this and only saw this information in the fine print of the contract. The local Bath Fitter shop said nothing to us about the labor charges prior to doing the warranty work and the only reason we found out about it is because we had to call them back to repair faulty workmanship and materials.

    Long story I know but the short of it is BUYER BEWARE! The Bath Fitter product is average quality at best especially for the money it cost and experience that we have had with leaking caulking and warranty repairs has left a very sour taste in our mouths. I can not in good conscience recommend this company or their products to anyone.

    Bath Fitter scheduled an appointment and Leo ** arrived right on time. Leo was very knowledgeable and friendly. He went over all of the options, did not pressure us to purchase anything that we weren't interested in. We made our selection and scheduled the install date. Matt ** arrived right on time to remove our old tub and enclosure and install a new walk in shower w/ glass doors. Matt and his assistant worked 8 hours non-stop and when they were done, you would never know they were there. They cleaned up great and the shower looks amazing. I always thought bath fitter was to cover old tubs, but they do so much more than that. I would highly recommend bath fitter.

    Bath Fitter installed a bathtub and shower stall inserts at a new to us house my wife and I bought. The installer didn't go under the house to properly connect to the existing plumbing. Instead they made the connection inside the house through the floor. The pipe they used to connect to the existing plumbing was too long and both drains have incorrect flow, and won't drain. When I spoke with Bath Fitter about the drain flowing the wrong way the rep said they don't check for the correct flow when connecting to existing plumbing. He also said the City inspector had signed off on the work.

    I previously checked with the City and that statement had been a lie. A final inspection hadn't been completed and when I asked if they would fix their work if the inspector didn't pass it the Bath Fitter rep said No. The bathtub and shower cost over $15,000 and you would expect your plumbing to be connected to correctly for that large amount of money. If you're wanting a bathtub or shower find a different contractor. Do your homework and find a company that will stand behind their product and their installation.

    When the salesman, Andrew, came to our home he had multiple conversations with us about our old tile being removed and how we would gain space in the shower/tub. He said any issues behind the tile would be fixed. He also told us a plumber would come in first and replace pipes and then the installer. The installer came yesterday for the start of the install and said the shut off valves don't work and no plumber is coming to replace them or any other pipes like we were told they would. Then, we see that the new liner for the walls is being placed over the tiles!

    First of all, how do you see a problem behind the tile with the wall if you don't remove the tile? Secondly, the shower walls are going to come out so far now that there will be no edge on the inside of the tub! As a woman, I use that edge to put my foot up to shave my leg! What kind of circus act do they expect me to do in the shower to shave my legs with nowhere to put my foot except for a flat, slippery wall?!? It's not like I can tell them to take it back because my old one is gone and in pieces. Using Bath Fitter has been one of my biggest and most costly mistakes. I do not recommend them.

    I have made 5 "virtual" appointments with Bath Fitter (due to the covid, only virtual). All of which were cancelled on the spot, at the said appointment. Reason being, because the "lady of the house" was not present. They do require us both to be at said appointment. I keep explaining to them that the "lady" is only a girlfriend who will be paying nothing towards the job, and will be making no decisions, and has no financial or legal interest in my house. They have wasted 5 months of my time before they were honest with me as to why they kept cancelling.

    After complaining about this to a friend, who happens to be a very successful salesman, He gave me the story. That it is a "high pressure" sales technique that salesman use when they want to overcome any objections a couple may have after the appointment, in an attempt to have all parties sign on the spot, and not be able to reconsider a day later. Well fellas, it cost you a job, and a bad review. All beware of possible high pressure sales, that might make you and your "lady" feel uncomfortable.

    Overall, the shower is fairly decent but pretty well overpriced for what I got. I paid $6200 for a tiny shower and 6 hours of work between the installer and plumber. The installer missed sealing a portion of the tub because he couldn't reach (never made the effort to try) and he also missed sealing a portion of inside the shower which ended up leaking the first night I used it. He also missed installing a decorative item over some hardware (not a big deal). The plumber had to relocate the drain for the shower which did some collateral damage to my sink drain (not his fault). The sink drain pipe ended up coming lose and water leaked all over my vanity and bathroom floor. The installer came and repaired that issue and mentioned that it wasn't their fault because the drain was missing a gasket.

    Although I can't blame them for it, it was created due to relocated the drain. I sent a text message with a picture asking if it's standard practice by Bath Fitter to not fully seal the bottom of the tub because the installer couldn't reach it. Although, the person never responded with an answer, they did say they would get back to me. Unfortunately, I haven't heard from that person since Thursday (7/23/20) and I do not feel it is my responsibility to contact them to address the issue mentioned above with the tub. My first experience with Bath Fitter was fantastic but my second was absolutely terrible, do not recommend at this time.

    The store that was in my area closed up and it has been difficult to get any repairs or warranty work as it is arranged with head office in Montreal and they never keep any past correspondence or paper work. They have come out to BC before to see all of their past clients and then arranged for the Burnaby office to come out and we had another arrangement this spring which I waited a long time for as they will not drive the highways in the winter. My tub floor was sinking and squishy for 2 years and they finally answered me and agreed last summer to come out but said it would have to wait till spring, I touched base with them in May as they reopened and have been for 2 months and now and my tub is completely cracked open now right through and unusable and it is the only washroom I have and I am disabled.

    This is just unacceptable service and I have had terrible service with them right from the get go. My ceiling was damaged with the install, they never siliconed right and much more. I can not even get the person I was dealing with to give me updates for the past 2 months, I spoke with her mid May. I read all over the internet there are a lot of bad reviews across many sites. I paid them in good faith and have had nothing but trouble with poor quality product and service. I have bit my tongue long enough. This is unacceptable.

    I highly recommend using Bath Fitter for a bathroom remodel! The salesman who came to our home to show us the products was highly knowledgeable. Once he understood our budget, he stayed right on course. There was no pressure to purchase more than we could afford. He never tried to "upsale" us, and he made sure we had the best product for our budget. The installer was equally professional. We had done some of the demolition prior to him coming out to install.     To say we have had an awful experience with Bath Fitter of Huntsville is a massive understatement. We have had our Bath Fitter tub for just over two years (upstairs master bath) and it has leaked/flooded our living room twice - requiring contractors to come in and fix the ceilings. The last issue happened in mid-November and we did not have a functioning master tub/shower until May 5th. I called in Dec. to get a time frame and was told that someone forgot to order it, and because of the holidays we wouldn't be seen until the new year. Our Feb 4th appointment was cancelled at 7:15 the morning of, because the person who was scheduled was sick. They rescheduled for Feb 14th.

    On Feb 14th the man who came out took some measurements and left. I called the office to see when he would be back to install the tub and was told that it would be another month - they had messed up our measurements and the tub that was ordered did not fit - this was discussed at their weekly meeting but no one thought to give us a heads up. I insisted on a weekend install because we were done taking days off of work for this to get fixed. On March 14th our tub was finally installed - however when we tried turning it on a few days later (after letting everything dry as instructed) we found that there was a leak from the tub faucet. Because of COVID-19 they were not able to get their plumber out to our house until May 5th.

    This whole experience has been a fiasco! We do currently have a working shower & tub, however this last installation had some very shoddy work. The guys left ripped drywall, a massive gash in our vanity cabinets (but they painted it and said, "you can't even tell"), the caulking is bumpy & uneven and they did not replace the baseboard moldings (I was told I can find some leftovers and fix it myself). And this is not even touching on the issue of getting the contractors paid for their work - which took months and the contractors reaching out to me to ask for help getting Bath Fitters to pay. I have attached photos from the most recent install.

    We had a Bath Fitter shower installed 8 years ago. The install went smoothly and Joey went above and beyond when installing it. He was helpful, clean, & neat. I could not have asked for more. Recently I had 2 issues with the shower, bath fitter was so helpful in solving my problems. I cannot tell you how comforting that is after all these years.

    Last month I had a walk in tub installed by ANOTHER company. Expecting the same professionalism, boy was I disappointed!. They were sloppy, scratched my floors and walls, marked up the molding. It took me a couple of hours to clean up after them. After that horrible experience I want to say thank you again to bath fitter.

    We called Bathfitter because our hallway bathroom was in terrible shape. Patrick was our representative and he was extremely thorough and didn't waste our time with the presentation. He took all the measurements and we ordered tub, shower, glass doors and grip bars. Bathfitter kept us appraised of the timeline and when installation would take place. Excellent follow-up from the company.

    James ** was our installer. He arrived on time, spent the entire day installing our products. The end result was fabulous. We now have an extremely beautiful tub and shower enclosure.     I called Bath Fitter last year asking about getting my bathroom remodeled. After coming out out the gentlemen advised me it would cost $8,500 w/ $1,500 down for only a new tub with surrounding, they don’t do entire bathrooms. This year less than $5k I have a upscale bathroom w/ new soaking tub, ceramic tile, new electrical and plumbing, a marble vanity and more! After my experience... I say if it’s cheaper to do your whole bathroom then just get a new tub with surround. I said do your whole bathroom and if they can do it in one day, I don’t see how I can last that long honestly. In life, if something seems too good to be true that’s because it’s too good to be true.

    This company is totally an SCAM, please don't use it at all. It's been no more than 8 months they installed me a shower which I still paying for it because was too expensive, and now I had to remove everything else and install a new shower with real tiles. This company charged me more then 5K for their fake, low quality shower, they left my water running almost cold and when I called and reported it they told me I need to call DELTA company to make sure they fix the faucet valve that they have nothing to do with the shower faucets, WHATTT?

    They were the one that installed it and bought it for their "most appreciated customers," why should I call that company if I did not do any business with them? Another thing is that this shower is super expensive for the quality because in the first month started to get stain easily despite I cleaned with the products they recommend. I paid so high price ONLY because the seller claim the shower was of a superior quality and that is a BIG lie.

    They scam people and the seller is a very good seller but with poor ethic, selling things that he knows they are not what they claim they are, also the caulk left on the second month and we ask the technician to come and poor more caulk and sure he came but applied caulk only on visible areas but I realized later that he did not applied on the areas we cannot easily see and were also peeling off. In general, this company is a mess and their products are very expensive for the quality, services offered and low qualified personnel. Now, I still paying the bathroom that was already uninstalled after 8 months of purchase. WHAT A BIG DEAL! My family and I are very furious and disappointing for this.

    This is probably not the cheapest option, but after our experience I believe it is definitely the best option for a bath remodel. We had our tub removed and a much larger shower installed. It involved removing the old tub, the old shower, and the demolition involved. The estimator was spot on with all the options we wanted, the guy who came to measure was exacting in his measurements, and the “2 Jeremys” definitely knew what they were doing on the demolition and installation. Everything was perfect when they left; and all the office people we spoke to during the process were were very kind and knowledgeable. If you plan to have your bathroom updated in upstate South Carolina, I definitely recommend Bath Fitter.

    This is so awful...because the wrap around left a wide gap between the tub and shower wall, water is getting in behind my tub and onto the floor & possibly destroying the wood & drywall behind the Bathfitter. The caulk they put on where the wall & tub meet actually just fell into the gap. This is the ONLY shower/tub we use in the house and 5 people need to shower daily. So I immediately applied more caulking in an effort to prevent further water intrusion. I called Bathfitter on February 25th and they cannot send someone out until March 17th. That's fine, I have no problem waiting BUT they told me because more caulk was added in this emergency situation, I RUINED THE LIFETIME WARRANTY. How in the world can applying caulk I purchased at Home Depot ruin the warranty? It's leaking because of poor workmanship, nothing to do with me nor the caulk.

    Here is their exact response, "by having your handyman filling the gap between the tub and wall you may have voided your warranty". It wasn't actually a handyman it was little old me. I am now terrified they won't even send someone out & by forcing me to wait until the 17th which is TWO weeks away, there will be so much more water damage done. I have also asked to see a copy of my "lifetime" warranty that shows I voided the warranty by applying caulk & I haven't received anything yet. If anyone wants to call me to resolve this please call anytime **.

    Bath Fitter from St. John NB gave us an estimate on our reno and suggested a white marble surround (we had stated we wanted white). The saleswoman assured us that this would look great and showed us a sample and we agreed. We had a lovely young man come and install our new system and I was not home at the time. When I came in I was horrified! The surround was basically a slab of greyish mauve with a couple of white streaks in it. Doesn't match any of the other features in our bathroom.

    I called to talk to someone in the office and had a call back from the original sale person instead of the manager and she basically told me "everybody else likes the marble and sorry about your luck"! Every time I look at it it leaves a bitter taste in my mouth. Another case of a big company taking your money and not caring after they have it. We did this reno out of necessity and having recently moved this was a financial strain to begin with and for them to disregard us in such a matter is very discouraging. You would think that a huge company making things right for their unhappy customers would be worth something. Wouldnt recommend to anybody now although the fellow that installed it was great. Let us just say we are still bitter in Moncton!

    Updated on 03/24/2020: I have been in touch with Bath Fitters and they sent a service tech to look at the tub. He agreed that it needs replacing so they are coming next month to fit it. I do want to thank Bath Fitters and Consumer Affairs .

    Original Review: Had lifetime warranty on my shower. Install the cover over the tub. Developed cracks in one corner and whatever they use to stick the liner down did not hold. I called them and Bath Fitter sent a service guy to look at it. He said it was my wives fault because she used the wrong cleaner. Now if that were true would not it have done it to the rest of the corners. It was caused by them not putting enough material in the one corner so that is what made it crack and then when you stand in one spot the inlay in the tub pops up and down. The service guy said that we were not covered and they would not replace it. Well so much for the lifetime warranty.

    Oh and another thing when the guy who put in the liners was done he never installed the drain. He told my wife it would cost another $75 to install the drain so after being on the road (I'm a truck driver) for two days thinking I'm going to have a nice shower I had to install the drain myself when I got home. Is this good. I would have to say no so good luck but Bath fitter warranty is garbage. Will I ever use their service again. Not very likely.

    I had a bathtub and it was too high. When I was coming out of the shower, I got my foot caught on the tub. I almost tripped and fell. This happened twice. There was a high step and it was kind of dangerous. Last year, I called up Bath Fitter and asked them if they could put a walk-in shower. Dave was my salesman and he was good. He was really nice and I really liked him. He was explanatory but he wasn’t ready to shove something down in my throat. He just went easy, gave a little bit of time, and he let me select what I wanted.

    The installers were really quick and they didn’t screw around. They pulled the tub out and when they pulled it out, their guy said that mine was kinda high. The installation took two days in total. The installers took the stuff out one day. I had to wait for the grout to dry a couple of days then I could shower. They did a really nice job and I’m really satisfied with it. With the walk-in shower, it’s safer. It’s only a four-inch thing and I just step in it. It’s like regular walking. They also put two handrails in for me. It’s a really nice setup and I was really pleased with it. Bath Fitter is a pretty good outfit and we recommend them to anybody.

    The salesman who came and talked to us about Bath Fitter was a very personable young man and was absolutely phenomenal. He walked us through the whole program and he said, “Hey, here’s how it’s all gonna go, and you’ll get a callback. And we’ll set up a time to come and do an estimate for you or do the measuring.” Then, I got a phone call from one of the Bath Fitter locations and they said, “Hey, we’re running a little bit behind on stuff. You should hear back from us in a week or so. And we haven't forgotten about you.” So, I waited 3 more weeks and didn't hear anything.

    I called our sales rep guy back and said, “Hey. It’s not like I’m mad, but I just kinda feel like I’m being ignored. I just wanna know whether we’d plan for this in a week or in six months.” It wasn’t even 10 minutes later that I got a callback from Bath Fitter. The gal on the phone apologized and said, “Hey, we’ll get you set up, what works for you.” And within a week or so, a schedule was in.

    The installation guy was in and out in one day and he was absolutely amazing. He was a very personable and polite young man, and I never met people more polite. I told him, “You don’t need to bother taking your shoes off, dude.” “No. It’s your house, not mine.” I asked, “Do I need to move that or do this?” And he said, “Listen, it’s your house.” He did all the work and the quality was remarkable.

    The final product looks amazing. It was outstanding that I’ve taken pictures of it and sent it to my friends and family. My old house was built in ’76 and it's that little thing where one goes down and there's a hallway where all three bedrooms are in a cluster right at the end and the bathroom’s off to the right. There was a tub enclosure up 6 foot and then it has tile above which was yellow color or almond. It was definitely outdated. So, we went with the acrylic all the way to the ceiling and then the frameless doors. Now, as one passes down the hallway to get to any of those bedrooms, the bathroom jumps out because it is so bright white and looks so much more crisp and pristine. We love it.

The bathtub shower is part of our parsonage for our church, and the tub was damaged.     I do not appreciate high-pressure sales structures. While it was made clear that my primary estimate was good for 30 days, being told that my ONLY chance EVER at a $2,500 "discount" was if I chose to purchase that day is shady business no matter how good the product and/or warranty is. I made it clear to the scheduling team and the consultant that I simply wanted an estimate so that I could plan for and prioritize my 2020 home improvement projects (this sauna shower was a want, definitely not a need). Not being told that my appointment was a sales pitch/meeting upfront, as opposed to a true (and honest) free estimate, is disingenuous to say the least.

    Based on the reaction and responses of the consultant to my questioning, it was clear that this sales technique and related company training was quite intentionally looking for those who cave under the pressure of losing out on a one time offer. I respectfully informed the consultant that I have a strict rule of waiting at least 24 hours before making any major purchases (a scientifically backed process)—this visibly frustrated him and it was clear that I was now a write off on his potential sales list (which was not true until after this reaction and following conversation); however, I do not blame him (other than choosing to work for this company), as he this company has set him up for failure when it comes to selling to someone who values honesty, integrity, and transparency.

    Interestingly, the consultant made a comment (and told a colleague’s story) regarding the fact that almost all cases where the potential customer who did not purchase that day did not purchase at all. His logic for this is that they were not serious buyers to begin with. I encourage you to consider the fact that many of these people can see through shady sales tactics and will not purchase based primarily on integrity—why support a tactic that preys on the weak? In addition to this, I would also suggest you ask yourself how many of the people who did buy under pressure would have done so if their 30-day estimate amount was the same as the one time discounted rate... My bet is that the sales rate would be lower—this should tell you that you are talking people into buying who should otherwise not be doing so…

    If Bath Fitter prides itself on the use of psychological perversion to turn profit, keep on doing what you are doing. But if it is sincerely focused on selling a quality product at an honest rate in a transparent manner, it’s time to rethink your outdated and unethical sales structure. While the product is exactly what I was looking for, the warranty seemed excellent, and the “discounted” price/estimate was right at what I expected to pay, I will be looking elsewhere—as I promote honesty, integrity, and respect as my core values. I truly expected more from a company as well-known as this one—especially the “family-owned” portion—great product, but no integrity.

    I had an installation done by Bath Fitter in December. The guy who came was excellent. That time there was another guy following him and he was tutoring. He worked a long time to get the installation done in one day. He did an absolutely wonderful job. However, he said that the door was not right and that they would have to replace it. The door was warped and he was supposed to make a note in his papers. I was supposed to hear from somebody but then I haven't heard one thing. I'm also getting new flooring and I'm fine with waiting on the door until the flooring happens. Still, the product seems to be of good quality.

    Had Bath Fitter come over in July of 2019, to remove a garden tub and install a walk in shower stall. Shower looks great, but when installer left, he did so in a hurry with no goodbyes at all. He also broke a picture and frame (glass) and laid it on our bed, we found it after he had left. Now, a month or so later, my wife was cleaning the shower walls, and the lower caulk line was able to be pushed in, with the wall unit about 1/4" or so. I called "Lance" our salesman, he said someone from wty. dept, would be calling, no one ever did. I did get an e-mail weeks later, detailing proper chemicals to use (which we already were using).

    We had items in the living room, a stool, some statues, etc. after Christmas, we moved a lot of things for cleaning and found a hole in the floor in the living room, on the opposite wall side where they had to move the drain to in the bathroom behind this spot. My wife and I have been in this house for 15yrs, there was no hole there before this was done. I Texted pics to "Lance" and got what looked like an "Auto reply" Out of office, be back in am, will get with maintenance to schedule with you to get this taken care of as soon as possible. Well, that was over a month ago, no calls as of yet, Again the Tub unit is great, we really like it, but service/warranty is lacking to say the least.

    When returning a call to schedule my installation, I called the number left in my voicemail and selected the appropriate option. It would ring once or twice, then a message saying "all circuits are busy" would come on. I was left with no option to leave a voicemail or wait in a queue. I called an 800 number for customer service and received an error message.

    The ccx second time I dialed, I received a person and was told that the error message was given because everyone else had a call. Again, this number had no queue or anything. She also told me the reason I got the original all circuits are busy message was because the women's office for installation was closed. It was only 4:45pm which I would assume would be inconvenient for most customers that work during the day and cannot return calls until later.

They carried a conversation between each other while they worked and not one foul word was said.     The shell that installed over our shower looks good. The product is nice. But our installation experience was terrible. The installer didn't have any respect for the fact that his worksite is our HOME. There was lots of damages done. We contacted Bath Fitter and they said they would reimburse us for the damages, and we're still waiting for the check. No one ever answers the phone when we call to resolve this and no one returns the voicemails we have left. I wouldn't hire again.

    Updated on 02/19/2024: Have been dealing with the Winnipeg office for 5 years trying to get my tub liner replaced as it has a crack. They did send someone out to take pictures a couple of years ago. At one point was told my liner is in Winnipeg and they-would call in a week and set up appt time. Never happened. I have called several times and even called head office. Answer is always the same - “we’ll get back to you.“ Never happens. We were happy with initial install but getting warranty work is terrible. As a consumer I’m really tired of having to battle to get this company to stand behind their claim of lifetime warranty. I see that every evening on the TV ad. Would not recommend this company.

    Original Review: Initial purchase and installation was great 15 yrs ago but trying to get follow up on warranty is awful. Apparently Brandon no longer has an office so I was directed to Winnipeg. I found a crack In the tub lining a year ago. Contacted Winnipeg who said they would follow up on warranty work but no new work. Called them 3 times each time they were to get back to me but never did. They have the info from the installation but last time I spoke to them (last November) they told me they don't travel in winter. Someone should inform them there is a 4 lane highway between Brandon and Winnipeg and many of us travel it all the time in winter for medical appts, sports, entertainment etc. Really annoys me when I see the ads on TV talking about the life long warranty and I can't even get a return call.

    We hired Bath Fitters in Centerville, Ohio August 2018 to refit our decaying bath tub and shower. The representative came to our home with a very thorough presentation and never once pressured us to sign on the dotted line, really appreciated his professional approach. Installation was scheduled in a timely manner with updates on our order status regularly. The installer was very respectful of our home and did an outstanding job by completing the installation within one day. Very pleased with the service we received from everyone involved in the process.

    Just recently (January 2020) we had an incident in the shower stall that damaged some the plumbing. We called and was put in touch with Bath Fitters Customer Service. The young lady (sorry can't remember her name) took immediate action in scheduling a service tech to come to the home the next day between 12 & 2. I get a call at 12 noon that they will be here in 10 minutes, and he was. The service tech took control of the situation and found the best approach to fix the problem, it was a pretty extensive job to complete and your tech took it in stride and had our shower ready for business within 3 hours. To our surprise the job was finished and no payment was expected. He wished us a Happy New Year and left with a smile on his face for a job WELL DONE.

    It's good to know there is at least one company that truly values the relationship with their customers and places high value on their integrity and backs up their Life Time Warranty with commitment to your satisfaction.     I have a nice tile wall and I wanted to keep them. Home Depot would not do just a bath. But Bath Fitter was willing to just install the bathtub for me. Their reps were great.     Now I know way more about plumbing than I need to. We had a bath/shower install which seemed to go well. The installers were very professional, or so it seemed. The unit must sit for 24 hours before using, so it was a couple days later when I took my first shower that I discovered that no water would drain from the tub. Thank goodness I had not filled up the tub. A call to your service dept promised a repairman in 10 days. After hollering, I got a repairman in 7 days. So here was the problem. Your drains are “pop up drains”. My old drain was a “plunger type”. Apparently the installer did not remove the 2” x 3/4” brass plunger and left it in my pipes which totally blocked the drain. REALLY. A simple Best Practice would be to run the water before leaving the job. Surely you can do better.

    My son had Bath Fitter to fix their bathroom down in Florida several years ago and then I’d see it on TV every now and then. I got the walk-in shower from them. There’s the shelf in there that came with it, too. The installation went great. It was only one guy. He was here long, but there was some other stuff going on in the house but he was able to walk around that too, and he did a good job. I like the final look of the shower very much. It’s just what I needed, so I'm really happy with it.

    Bath Fitter had the one-piece thing that covers the bathtub that my wife and I wanted, so we went with them.     I have a window in my shower and we caulk it three times a year. We've tried different caulks that weren't supposed to show mold and mildew and it still did. I got so sick of it so I called a couple of places. Then, I decided to go with Bath Fitter. Also, one of my friends had Bath Fitter about 15 years ago and she said her bathroom still looks brand new.

    The sales rep showed us several things. He was very knowledgeable and he took his time to let us decide. I and my husband even walked away and discussed it and then we decided what we wanted. We got the white block, the walls and the tub overlay. They also did framing work and it looks really nice. The installation was pretty easy and the installer was very nice. He was neat and he cleaned up after himself. I went up there a few times to see if he needed anything and he asked us a couple of questions to make sure we wanted a shelf in the spot where we said we wanted it and where we wanted the safety bar. He told us that he had to clean up around the window once he puts the molding. It took him about eight hours but he did a very well job. The tub was installed earlier than I thought so that made me happy.

    Lifetime warranty not as advertised. Do not if the foot drain plug breaks due to low quality product use a universal foot plug that slides into the hole. It voids the warranty supposedly, also do not schedule an appointment to expect not once. But twice to schedule service. To wait around first time 2 hours beyond appointment time. And second time no show at all and not even scheduled to show up. To finally after over a week of issue get not the guy you were suppose to meet but another tech instead. To be told you owe them $80. After they cost you 6 hours of your own time at $45 an hour to call and tell you you owe them.. Dont order with these people.. I've got a plumber at Pluming Paramedics and they do the best work and dont overcharge for poor service and actually show up on time...

    My experience with Bath Fitter was not one that I would want anyone to experience. I wrote a review directly to Bath Fitters and then reached out with a call but no one ever bothered to get back to me. I had an acrylic tub put over an old tub when the previous one no longer functioned. My appt was rescheduled for another day- I think so that someone from corporate could tag along. They came at dinner time and spent over an hour asking me questions about my husband, my mortgage, and sitting on my couch (covered in copious amounts of cologne) without asking if that was okay.

    It then took two weeks and cost the same amount that a NICE freestanding tub would cost. I also was given another appt time for which the gentleman- while very kind- arrived WAY before the time- and when I was not at home. I am highly disappointed with both the cost as well as the incredibly uncomfortable manner in which I was spoken to. I also find it interesting that I am asked to review something with technicians standing over me and then when I write a comprehensive review- no one cares; this was a two-page handwritten letter that I thought would impress upon customer service the disappointment of my experience.

    You sold me a $10,018.00 bathroom project in May of 2017 in a home where the owner only comes in town for a few weeks once or twice a year. The home owner is in town and when she showers in the guest bathroom where the tub/shower is, it appears that water gets under the tub and makes her feel like she is standing on a water bed to shower. They scheduled an appointment for Dec 11, 2019 between 3 - 6Pm, but no one showed up and of course by the time we waited till 6PM for him to show your office was closed. We called the office this morning and her response was they will schedule it for NEXT Wednesday between 2pm and 4 pm, I asked to have the director of operations Karen contact me but have not received a callback. Can you please assist us in resolving this issue as soon as possible?

    The Bath Fitter rep was telling me that they could put in a brand-new bathtub, but I told him that I was not looking for a tub over a tub. I wanna get rid of the old tub. He told me that they have brand-new tubs. I then asked him if they were the stainless steel with the enamel on them. He replied no, and that they were acrylic. I said that was good and that was even better.

    The rep then explained the whole process about putting in what they call a retainer, like you have on your hot water tank, which is a basin underneath the tub. And that was great. So if something ever happens to the tub and accidentally punctures through, at least the tub won't leak all over the floor. It will leak right into the retaining tub until I can get the thing drained. He also explained the acrylic wall, and I was very impressed with the caulking. It is some type of special caulking that doesn't yellow or shrink up. I didn't believe him until I saw it put in, then I was convinced that it really does not shrink up and it really looks nice and goes on nice too.

    John, the salesperson, came out to talk to me about exactly what I wanted. He looked at everything and he confirmed with me that I wanted a shower and a bath tub. I told him yes, and then he asked me if I wanted a walk-in shower. I told him no and that I wanted a shower and a bath tub. I also wanted a handheld shower head and a shower head. And he told me that they could do that. He then explained that they would put in the three quarter inch plywood and reinforce it, and he asked me how many safety bars I wanted. I told him two. One at the entrance as you are going into the tub so you can hold on to it, and then one while you're in the tub that you can get up out of. He said okay, and then he measured everything.

    After that, the pre-installer came out and he did his job by measuring everything and verifying where everything was and what to turn off. I just had plumbing redone in the house with plumbing, so I had to turn off valves everywhere. So they didn't even have to turn the water off, and they could just turn the water off going to the tub.

    The installer came out, and he did a marvelous job. He tore everything out, put the plywood up, and encased the window that was there in acrylic, which John had already measured for. It really looked fabulous. I was very, very satisfied, and then he put a toilet in for me. And it only took him two days to do it. Then he got rid of all the old stuff, so I didn't have to mess with any of that crap.

    I then decided to get my main bathroom done. I had a garden tub and an old shower that was too small to stand in or sit in, even though it had a bench. So John came back out and looked at it and gave me an estimate on it and we signed a contract. The same installation guy came out, and he tore out the old shower, and put plywood up instead of drywall, so I can put shelves in there. He put the three quarter-inch plywood up and I can now build my shelves in there, and then put cupboard doors on it, and it'll be a big old cupboard.

    They put this walk-in shower with glass doors. It's 4 x 6 in the shower itself, and then the bench is on the back end, and they encased all that in acrylic, and they put up a sidewall. So the sidewall is on the back where the bench is. When you're sitting on the bench, you can sit back there and nobody can see you. It was all done very, very nicely. The only thing was he got me a handheld shower and I had to buy a holder for it. So if I'm sitting on the bench and wanna shave my legs, I can just hook the thing there and turn the thing off and turn it on when I want to. It's like living in luxury.

    It was a massive project. It took him two full days to do it, but he had to cut my shutoff valves off. I asked him why he did that and he replied that he couldn't reach them. But I showed him this big open panel that he could access the water, and he said he forgot about that. When he left, I thought about it, and the next day I called Bath Fitter back up and told them that I paid good money for those shutoff valves, and I wanted a shutoff valve put back on. I had four of them, two cold water and two hot water, and he took all of them. Also, he cut off the pipes going up to the shower and he kept off the drain. His brother came back two days later and put the shutoff valves on and they work fine and everything was good. So it was good response. If I had a problem, I could call Bath Fitter and they would fix it. I was very pleased. If I had any more projects, I'd have Bath Fitter do them.

    I like my experience with Bath Fitter very much. They did a really nice job. However, when you call and ask them to come out, you do not know ahead of time that you’re expected to make the purchase that day. I wanted time to think it over and I did not want to make the purchase that particular day, but I was told that if I didn’t, the sale the rep was promoting would no longer be in effect.

    We offered to drive to their store to purchase it the next day after we had the chance to talk about it, but he said that the sale would be gone. But if you watch the TV, the sale just continued on, so that part of it bothered me. However, I was in desperate need because I needed surgery and I could not use my tub. That was the only reason that we made that decision that day and we weren’t happy about that.

    The man who installed the tub did an excellent job. He was very friendly and clean. The salesman told me that he was gonna recommend this particular man because he knew that the man could get the installation done in one day. We were under the impression that the tub was gonna be put in in the same day, but it didn’t turn out that way. It took the man two days to do it, but he was only here for four hours in the morning, both days, which worked out better since I only have one bathroom. And when you gotta go, you gotta go. The tub is very roomy and works really well.
