We decided it was time to remodel our bathroom because my husband has rheumatoid arthritis. We thought it would be better for him to be able to not step over the tub. And it was helpful for him. This was the main reason why we chose Bath Fitter. We made our first purchase June of last year. The sales representatives were very nice and pleasant. When they came in, they introduced themselves and told us what they were going to do and about how long it was going to take. It was the same thing with the installation team. They kept the place clean. It’s a great company. Everybody’s wonderful. We had no problems at all. The experience was excellent. I love it!

My wife really likes Bath Fitter and the equipment they put in. I just don't like the way it was installed. We just had our bathroom done. The guy came in and damaged the walls. When I told them about it, nobody ever called me. Nobody’s ever expressed their concern. They didn't stand behind it. If they did and fixed my damage then I might even get the other bathroom done. But I won't now.

Bath Fitter was absolutely fantastic. My mother-in-law had bought a place and the bathtub was cracked. I could have done the work myself but it was going to take me a long time to tear it all out and do it. So we called up Bath Fitter, they came out, gave us an estimate. I said, “go ahead and do it.” The sales rep talked to us, showed us everything we need to know, answered all the questions. Then he scheduled up a date for getting everything out there and then the installer came and did everything and it was jammed up. I have recommended them. It was a great experience. It was a little bit on the pricey side. I could have done it myself for half of the price but I would have been there for 2-3 weeks.

The work done by Bath Fitter was efficient. They did what they were told, and it was within my budget. I was looking to repair a bathroom and went around to several places. They were chosen after I looked at others. I liked the fact that it would be done in a day and that it looked like tile when it isn't. It was easy to add things into it that I needed and everything about it was what I needed. Some of the other quotes were outlandishly high. The sales representative came to the house, showed me the products, and I told him that I was looking at other things and I would get back to him. He wasn't pushy. He was very knowledgeable and showed me all the products and the colors. We sealed the deal when I decided. The installation team was one man. He came in, ripped out everything that was old and put in everything that was new. I actually had Russian tiles in there. It was one of those old fashioned, form-fitted showers. He reinforced everything. He was very efficient and was only there that one day.

Bath Fitter did a good job and I really enjoyed it. I would recommend them in a minute. I had seen their advertisement with Jack Roper and all that on TV, and then my husband, he's a veteran and disabled, so I asked if the veterans could help me with one and they sent me a list of the ones that they approved in the area. Bath Fitters was on there so I chose them. They took out the old tub and put in a handicap shower. I'm very pleased with it. I don't think that I'd been as happy with some of the others. I have nothing to say but good things. They came in, they kept their work to a minimum and put down tarps to cover my carpet. They'd come in and done the work and then came back the next day and finished, because some of them had to let set. If I had room for them, I'd have two more put in.

We decided to remodel the bathroom because of my husband's disability. He had a really hard time getting in and out of the bathtub and it was very high. So we wanted to get the master suite shower made bigger but when the Bath Fitter representative came out, there wasn't enough room to do that so he recommended that we do the main bathroom that everyone uses and we were able to put in a walk-in shower that worked well for my husband. When I called Bath Fitter, I got fast service and they set up an appointment for me right away. I didn't have to go through a lot of waiting time and I was very pleased the way they handled it. So I just booked it right then and there. The sales representative was very helpful in explaining and showing us what we wanted to be put in there and the different handles that we needed. The installation team worked all day and it was done in no time at all. They did a very good job. I was very impressed. This is the first time we've done a bathroom renovation and the salesperson explained to us what would best work for what we needed and it worked just great for us.

I went on Angie’s List and I saw the feedback that Bath Fitters had been given. It was very positive. They were all inclusive. They came here. Our salesman, Michael, was extremely professional but they put in everything. I had an A, B or C choice on what I wanted as far as fixtures and different kinds of molding and stuff, and they could do it in two days. That sounded very good to me. And the price, it wasn't cheap but it wasn't overly expensive either.

We did two walk-in showers here last February or March. That was our first Bath Fitter remodel. We didn't want to go through the hassle of stepping into a bath tub to take a shower. And the walk-in shower for us was a safety issue. We had just installed them about four years ago with beautiful tile and everything, but got sick of cleaning the grout. Got sick of stepping over into a big tub for safety reasons and all we do is take showers, so that’s what we did for us.

We live in Asheville, North Carolina, so he had to come from South Carolina. They did a great job. They knew what they were doing. They install this stuff all the time. It was no amateurs. These guys knew what they were doing. They had a skilled crew. It was a very pleasant experience. When I told them what I wanted, I added some extras while they were here and they gladly accommodated me. And it was just a pleasure, both of them were. We had two different installers and both of them knew their stuff. It was quick, easy, and it’s a quality product. I’m very happy with them.

My husband and I got the upstairs bathroom in 1993. We got three quotes and they were the most reasonable and they did the best job because you can tell by what they said they were going to do. That’s why we went with them. I did get some work done here in 2012. The representative that came down did the measuring and I made the selection, what kind of shower I wanted downstairs. They put the base in and they did the plumbing. Another company came and did the glasswork. Bath Fitter didn't do the glasswork.

The only thing I didn't like was that we had a very old shower downstairs so they took that all out, and they had to cut into the wall and into the ceiling in order to transfer the plumbing to the wall instead of having it where it was. And I didn't like when they put the line to the outside wall. That bothered me because I thought maybe it would freeze since in this country we get a lot of frost. But it never occurred. He promised me it wouldn't and it never did. Everything was good. I have recommended them to other people.

I’m very pleased with everything. I had to pay the bill and that’s it. Everything is working good and we’re enjoying the shower. I was worried about that outside line because that’s against code, to put the line on a cold wall. But that’s the way it had to be done. And everything’s fine. All the Moen apparatuses that were put on there, I have a lifetime warranty which is very, very nice. I just phoned Moen and they will replace all parts and everything. Then I phoned Bath Fitter, the plumber, and they’ll come and install it for me. So that’s the feature that no other company has.

My husband had knee surgery. We had a tub with a shower and it was difficult for him to step over it. So we decided to change it to a walk-in shower. We chose Bath Fitter because of Jack Roper on Channel 7. We talked about it so much that we thought we'd check it out. The representative was very knowledgeable. I had told him that I had wanted to see about getting a walk-in shower for my mom. He even went over there and took a look over there to tell her what hers would be. So we decided to get one over there too. We had a problem underneath the house in the drainage and when he didn't know what to do, he called somebody that had more experience with it, and he came out, and they got it to do what they wanted it to do. He was real good. They're a wonderful company, and the product is great.

Contacted the Bath Fitter in Livonia, MI. concerning the silicon caulk separating from the wall and tub and the black mold in the caulk. I was told by the person on the phone that there would be a $75.00 charge to replace the caulk. The information I received on the flier supplied by the salesman stated very clearly that "Material, Labor, and installation are GUARANTEED. The Bath Fitter Lifetime Warranty affords you the peace of mind you deserve."

The Bath Fitter product was installed in April of 2011. The first tub liner installed did not fit correctly and had to be replaced. At that time the caulk had to be removed and replaced. Sometime later the caulk began separating from the wall and tub and had to be replaced again. We are now only 3 years and 2 weeks into a "LIFETIME GUARANTEE" and the caulk is separating again and needs to be replace and has black mold growing in the caulk. I believe the cause of the separation is due to the old caulk not being thoroughly cleaned before the new was applied. Most silicon caulk/sealant for bathroom applications are mold proof and guaranteed for approximately 20 to 30 years. The silicon caulk/sealant that I applied to the shower doors, that were installed at the same time, show absolutely NO SIGNS OF SEPARATING OR MOLD GROWTH.

Bath Fitter WILL NOT sell a tube of caulk that matches the color of the tub and wall surround so the homeowner can do the repair so you are captive and must pay Bath Fitter $75.00 to replace their defective material that "Material, Labor, and installation are GUARANTEED. The Bath Fitter Lifetime Warranty affords you the peace of mind you deserve." When I told the person on the phone I would be filing a formal complaint with the Better Business Bureau due to the fact that I MUST PAY Bath Fitter $75.00 to get a proper repair, because they WILL NOT sell the caulk to the homeowner, I was told "WELL DO WHAT YOU HAVE TO DO". Customer service at it's finest. NOWHERE ON THE PAPER WORK I RECEIVED OR ON THE BATH FITTER WEBSITE IS THERE ANY REFERENCE TO AN EXCEPTION TO THE LIFETIME GUARANTEE OF THE WARRANTY COVERING THE "MATERIAL, LABOR, AND INSTALLATION."

It was excellent. I would not have asked for anybody better. Bath Fitter did a wonderful job from start to finish. I love my bathrooms. I had to tell everybody I know to let these people do your bathroom if you ever consider it. That's the best thing I've ever done. I had seen it on the ad with Jack Roper and we kept thinking about it but we had to wait. We didn't know how expensive it was going to be. I called them and I was shocked it was as cheap as it was. I was expecting 2 or 3 times that amount of money. So I ended up having both my bathrooms done at the same time. We had our master bath converted into a walk-in shower because I have disabilities and it was hard for me to get in and out of the bath tub and take a shower. Now, I can just get in and out without fear of falling. They asked me where I wanted the handles and they put them where I needed them to go. The installer cleaned up too. He put down thick paper on my hardwood floor so nothing would touch them.

I've seen Bath Fitter advertised on TV. They advertised the fact that they could replace it all, and do all this in one day. My mom and I have a hard time stepping over into the tub to shower, so my husband and I just said "Let's bite the bullet, get them out here and talk to them." They came out, talked to us, and told us what he had. I love the texture and how it's easily cleaned. We discussed it for a few days and then I called him back. We made the appointment for him to come out and we had it done. It was done in one day, just like they said.

It has been absolutely wonderful. So far I haven't had to call them back for not one repair. I'm happy with the attitude of the people. The only thing that I am not happy about is the color I chose. They only had those little pieces of display and you can't really tell what it looks like. I chose the light gray, and it says white marble. Well it isn't. It's gray marble with some white in it. I wanted the white. But that was my fault. Other than that, they were extremely nice. The young guys that came in were very pleasant. Asked him to take out my old tub in one piece hopefully. They made all biggest efforts and they took it out in one piece. They did not even take a potty break until that job was done. No one could ask anyone to be more pleasant and working. When they made their mess in the bathroom, he had a brush and a bag, and everything was cleaned up. You'd never know they'd been here, even after they'd left, other than my shower.

Another thing that they did... Most other ones that I've had to try to work with wanted to move where my old drain was. They wanted to put it in the center. I don't want it in there. I don't want to change my plumbing. What Bath Fitter did is remold to drain at the other end where the old plumbing is. They didn't have to change any of that. I'm pleased with them and would recommend Bath Fitter.

We had Bathfitters come out to look at our shower. We had a leak and needed it to be replaced. The salesman and the guy that came out said they would replace all water damaged wood. Also they would get the permits. Needless to say when the installer came out he knew nothing about the floor being replaced. He called his supervisor and with me standing nearby his supervisor said, "absolutely not." My new shower got installed and my installer, who was great, left. My husband came home from a business trip and said they didn't do what they said. So at 4 pm on Good Friday he's raising heck. The installers' boss calls my husband and says he has no idea what's going on and has no idea why it wasn't done, etc. Basically through his guy under the bus.

Fast forward to today. The plumbing inspector comes because the salesman, the installer and the installers' boss tell me to schedule. Sure, no problem. Well there is a problem. THEY NEVER PULLED THE PERMIT! Now I'm livid. I call the 800 number. Can't get the installers' boss on the phone because that's who I was told does permits. Can't get HIS boss on the phone. Finally get some regional type guy on the phone with his cocky attitude. I told him his guy between him and his installer just got his third strike. He blew some smoke up my **, offered to treat my husband and me to dinner (don't patronize me, buddy) and said he'd call the plumber whose license they work under. The plumber says we don't need a permit. I call my township, we need a permit. So now I am waiting in limbo for either the permit or a letter stating I don't need one. My floor is being fixed on Friday by my wonderful installer. As far as those above him go, they stink.

Bath fitter installed just a floor in my master bath over some bad tile work. The first floor didn't work out so bath fitter without any problem came back and removed all the bad tile and floor, redone the shower base then came back and put in a new floor and now everything is perfect. One thing I can say that bath fitters stands behind their work even if it may have not been their fault that I had the problem in the first place. Man it is a good feeling knowing that a company stands strong behind what they say. I fully recommend bath fitters. You will love their customer service. Installers are great also. They work real hard at making sure the job gets done right.

I used Bath Fitter before in my previous house. This time I had them do the tub, the surround, and the doors. The whole sales and installation experience was very good. If I could suggest one thing, I need a bigger shower head. It seems like it's a low flow one. I got the smaller one but a lot of the others have a little bit bigger, adjustable head. I like the looks of it but there's just not much pressure there.

I had Bath Fitter do two bathrooms, and they did a very nice job. I'm very happy with them. They told me the date they would come, showed up on that date, came out and measured. They completed everything, neat and clean. Haven't had any problems with it. I moved last year and I had a lot of work done and I was fed up with workmen who say they're coming and they don't come, or they come and stay an hour and they leave and they come back. These people came, did it, and it was done. And they were all very polite and nice, so it was a good experience. I have recommended them and my daughters already used them. It was an excellent experience.

I had heard about the work they did for other people and I did compare apples to oranges to other people and I thought Bath Fitter was probably the best. We had it done in February. The sales representative was very upfront about everything. There were no hidden charges. They kept me informed of when they were going to be able to come. One man did the whole thing. He was very knowledgeable at what he did and explained everything to me if I had any questions about anything. He was a very likable person.

I did have to sweep where they had done their cutting but there wasn't a lot of material, maybe one dustpan.

I own an apartment house. Years ago, the only thing they had was cast iron tubs with porcelain glaze and so I purchased the acrylic liner and I didn't tear out the tiles because the tiles were in really super good condition. I also needed to replace the plumbing, which means if you don't have access to the plumbing then you have to cut the tiles. This way we could leave the tile, cut a section where you needed to access the plumbing and then put the acrylic on top of the tile. That's what I purchased from Bath Fitter. It was the ease of maintenance supposedly and also the one-day installation rather than gutting the whole bathroom that made me go with them.

As far as the product is concerned, it’s beautiful. The workmanship was impeccable but I would be hesitant to recommend them. They did what they said they did but they didn't say the problems that you have to be aware of. They didn't say that you have to use special cleaners, and that if you don't you can crack the acrylic, which would be a very expensive thing. They also didn't mention that the liner could be very slick depending on the person's foot. If you have a lot of calluses or a lot of rough skin on your feet, it’s okay. If you have babied your feet, and they're massaged and smooth as silk, you may just go flying. They should have impressed this on people. In a rental property, you could be open for liability and you may have to put some decals or a grab bar in. These are the only drawbacks. Otherwise, it's a great product.

My wife had heard about them in an advertisement and they seem to be unique in what they did. That's the reason they were the company that was selected. We purchased a new shower from them in replacement of the tub arrangement. That was 60 days ago. The sales representative was extremely knowledgeable, very pleasant and able to answer virtually all questions that I had. By and large, he left a very favorable attitude as far as I'm concerned. The installation team consisted of one person. He knew exactly what he was doing. I was concerned that it was only one person and he said it was not a problem and he was exactly correct. He was neat; he was timely in both getting to our appointment and the amount of time that it was going to take. From beginning to end, from the sales through the installation, it's been a very good experience. It's a reasonable value and excellent service.

I had Bath Fitter back when I lived in New York. A month ago, I purchased the shower panel from them. The sales representative was fine. He answered all my questions and was patient too. I was debating whether I should spend so much money because it was very expensive and he didn't push me to make a decision. He was very patient but he did explain to me the benefits of having it. And since I already had the experience previously when I had it in New York, I know how good it is and I do know how it's easy to clean. And because of my disability, it was going to be easier for me.

I had just finished having a surgery like 3 days before so I was in a lot of pain and discomfort when the installation team came. They were very careful and very clean. I like the fact that they lay paper on my floor to protect my floor from them coming in and out and they weren't that noisy. They were being very careful and they knew that I had the surgery and they knew that I wasn't feeling well, so they were being as careful and sensitive towards me. They worked very well together. They were really nice.

I would definitely recommend them but I wish I had friends that would be interested in it. The prices are really expensive and not everybody could do it. It's a very big sacrifice for me because I'm still paying for it. It wasn't a want, it was a need. I wish Bath Fitter was a little bit more inexpensive. It was almost $4000 and it's a lot for me. I don't want to say that I regret it, but it's hard. They really need to consider the prices.

The installation guy was very quiet, very precise. He worked very fast -- in and out of the house before I even knew it. He had the old bath tub removed. I didn't even know it was gone. Nice man - he said he would turn in his recommendation on Monday March 31, 2014. My appt was on March 28, 2014. While he was here, he did repair the hardware in the shower that was installed at the same time the shower was installed; but "came lose" about 4 months after the install. Which I appreciated, just a source of aggravation but I like having it fixed.

The tech explained, after I asked what this was going to cost me, the adhesive has let loose and the shower pan cannot be removed without all of the rest of the product being removed. So I don't know if this is going to cost me another $3500-$4000 or if it is under the warranty. I have not heard from anyone since then. I called the local number today and no one is working, so I left a message. I am trying to find out what stage my request for repair is in. How much it is going to cost me and what I am going to have to do to get this completed.

She measured the bathroom, even made a suggestion that we move the bathtub to a different direction. She knew what she was doing. I didn't care about the installers though. I had a pretty bad experience with them. They didn't get the wall correct when they put it up. They had to come out and re-caulk it twice. I found out that they are not there anymore. It's a good 20-minute drive but they came out. They didn't discriminate. They treated us so fairly it was just so awesome. I was so impressed with that. They let me keep me one of the samples the first week that they came out so that we could make a decision. They were 120% professional. That was what made my decision to go with them because they wanted our business and they treated us like people.

I was very upset with Re-Bath. Re-Bath missed out because we had everything paid in full upfront. I told him I needed to take my daughter to the airport & wanted to know how much a tub liner would cost. He said he could come back another day. I said, "Just give me the estimate." He said I should get the whole ensemble - tub & wall covering. I asked for the tub estimate & he packed up & was out the door in a second.

I asked again for an estimate & he gruffly said as he exited that it would be at least $5000 & more for the wall covering. I expected after more than 2 hours that I would get a written estimate in a pleasant voice. A couple days later I got a call from Bath Fitter wanting to set up an appointment. I said I already had one but was lacking the written estimate. I refused another home visit & asked that the estimate be sent to my address. I never got any estimate. I can't imagine doing business with a company who treats their customers in this manner. I also can't imagine paying $5000 for a tub liner.

They all came to the house, took measurements and explained their product, installation, and showed samples of their product and accessories. By far Ryan from Bath Fitters was very knowledgeable and confident in the product he was selling so we decided to go with them. Without going into a long dissertation, there were a couple of issues that arose that set the installation back. Everyone I spoke with during these issues not only showed concern, but went to the next step to make sure these problems were taken care of and followed through including keeping me updated. These were Acacia, Sue, and Hollie. The installers (Tim - Aaron - Tyler) went out of their way to explain what they were doing and why and made sure we were happy as the work progressed. I started getting some price quotes. Bath Fitter came and theirs was so much better. I liked it better so I signed up right then, and I do not normally do that. I got to think about it for a day or two after I talked to somebody but the Bath Fitter people were so nice and everything looked so good. This was in January. They took out my bathtub and put in a step-in shower. My daughter has MS which is one of the reasons why I got it and another reason is me. I'm old but we decided we needed a couple more grab bars. They came out and put them in for a very reasonable price. I was surprised and I'm very satisfied. They're wonderful.

The only thing that I would criticize is we were having trouble with the middle part that you can take loose, the handheld part of it and I couldn't get it off. I did call and asked them to send somebody out to help us with that but they never did. However, I was able to get it loosened, and everything is fine and worked out good.

We have a 91-year-old mother in the house and he was able to help us make the bathroom safe for her. It couldn't be better. I'm a real estate agent and I had given him a number of other clients because he did such a good job.

The installers were perfect. They were in, did their work and were out. They didn't have to be called back for anything. I couldn't have asked for a better install and it was fast. Outstanding. Would recommend Bath Fitter to anyone with no reservations.

We went to get an estimate and to see what they would be doing. We ended up purchasing a bathtub. The sales representative was absolutely wonderful and everybody was great. They were very talkative and down to business when it was time for business. We had the bathtub done in March and they did a wonderful job.

I liked Bath Fitter's advertisement and the way they said they were so efficient and everything. So I told my husband, “We need to get them down and talk to them and find out what their materials are.” Their sales rep whom we dealt with was fantastic and the guys who did the install were really good too. They came down here and it was so cold, our water was frozen, but they did a really good job. We did have to have them back because when the water thawed out, we did have a little leak and it was something with one of their fittings. They fixed it, and we are quite pleased with it and the way they worked. They cleaned everything up, and even things that I told them not to bother with, that I’d do. They said, “No, we’ll do it.” Bagged the little scraps and stuff. They did a fantastic job. They were neat, efficient, and very courteous.

I first heard about Bath Fitter at the home and patio show. I got three different estimates and looked at the different materials and my wife liked them better. It's been about a month now since we had the shower installation/replacement done. Their sales representative was cordial. Seemed well-informed - straight to the facts, which I prefer. And the guy they sent to do the job went straight to work and didn't take no breaks. He knocked it out, got it done and cleaned up afterwards. He was clean and very neat.

We're very satisfied with the way it turned out. I thought it was a little bit costly for the amount of labor and stuff that was truly involved, but I'm happy with what I got.

My husband and I have several home projects on the horizon, one of which is replacing our tub and shower tiles. We were not initially considering Bath Fitter but after going to a Home expo, we decided to set up an in home estimate. At the show we were also given a 10% off coupon. When the sales associate showed up at our home, he was nice and after showing him the room that needed the work we began to go over specs. What disappointed me was the lack of options we had. The sales associate chose our fixtures for us. We did not realize we had an option until afterwards.

When we asked if we could have our own fixtures installed, he told us to hire a plumber for that. He included a shower rod in the price without explaining why we couldn't use our existing one since we had just purchased it ($189 additional cost). He showed us only one style of bath tub, did not give us any options with that except the outside appearance. Finally he gave us our estimate ($7900) which is roughly $2900 more than we had originally anticipated. He kept telling us bathroom remodels run at least $15K. We weren't looking for a remodel. Just a new tub and shower.

He started to get pretty abrasive at this point and we changed our options around to get it down to $7400 and after the 10% off coupon to $6800. He then wanted us to sign the agreement right then and there. After telling him we were still getting other estimates (we always get at least 3 per job), he laughed at us and said we are not going to find "what we want" for $5000. It's funny because he really didn't know what we wanted since he never did give us options. He then told us that if we didn't sign right then and there we would not get the 10% off and our quote would go back up to $7400.

These kind of high pressure sales tactics do not work on us. In fact, they are what loses a sale. I was initially impressed with the product, but his sales tactics are what lost Bath Fitter a sale from us and we definitely will be telling friends and family the same. The salesman tried giving us bad analogies like the cost of gas is different on every corner. Yeah but it doesn't cost me 7 grand to fill my tank. The inability to have the time to check our own finances and the rude attitude of this salesperson was absolutely shocking to me. Every other contractor we have ever gotten a quote from has the estimate expiry date a year from the day it was written. Shame on you Bath Fitter!

I purchased a house and the liner in the bathtub was leaking. I contacted the previous owner who mentioned Bath Fitter of Ridgeland, MS installed the bath liner. The previous owner also mentioned the liner was leaking before and Bath Fitter came out and repaired it 5 months prior. I contacted James ** who said the policy states once a house is sold then the warranty is no longer valid. He said to repair the liner would be a 4 hour job at $75 an hour and their work would not be warrantied. If the seal came up again he would charge $75/ 4 hours totaling $300 not including tax and supplies. I asked how much it would cost to get a warranty on his work and he said around $5,000. I also talked with the lady in the office and she said the particular liner that is in my bath is prone to leak. She also said the repairs would take only 3 hours but James insists on 4 hours of labor.

    Hi Brad,

It is our policy to honor our warranty only to our original customer. In certain cases however, such as when a home is sold shortly after an install has been completed, it is the decision of the local manager to extend our warranty. If it is not a new installation, we cannot be responsible for how the product was maintained by the new owner. We understand you have contacted your local office regarding the transfer of the warranty and we suggest attempting to reach out to them again, thank you.

I was a little guarded because of my first experience with Bath Fitter but was open minded and let Jeremy work his magic on the problems I had. I asked many questions and he answered all without hesitation or attitude (this was the issue with the other installer). I am 65 years old and attitude is not something I deal well with. I cannot say enough about how pleased I was with the work Jeremy completed at my house and his attitude was in my opinion great and also informative. I would recommend Bath Fitter, Roger was quick to address the problems I had and in my opinion sent me a great installer in Jeremy, this guy is indeed a valuable employee and I cannot thank him enough for all of his hard work.

We got a brochure with our newspaper and then we called Bath Fitter. We saw what they had and this is what we wanted to do and decided to check them out before we contracted somebody else to do it. We were just going to go with a contractor and had them tear out the tub and the tile and then just do it exactly what we've got now with ceramic tile.

That’s about it. We found exactly what we wanted. The representative was very good. He explained everything. I thought he was a pretty knowledgeable sales guy, pretty knowledgeable in explaining everything. We only had one installer. They said they were going to send two. But the guy worked. He really worked hard. And there was just one of him. It is a big job, yes, it is. And he didn't get done until after 6 o'clock and he got here early morning. He really worked hard.

We were really impressed at how hard and how good a job he did. He knew every aspect of his job. We did recommend them to a friend. I took a client over to take a look at it because they were going to do one of those that you go in and sit down with, with the door. You just walk in one of those. And I told her she needs to come over and take a look at what we had before she decided on that. It was really outstanding. He was here. He did his work. He didn't make a big mess. It was fairly easy to live with really.

We heard about Bath Fitter when we went to the Home and Patio show. We tried them for the first time and we liked it. We had the whole bathroom done in September. We just had our tub covered, all the walls and the dome ceiling. There was just such a small area left in the small bathroom that we had acrylic put on the rest of it and the ceiling instead of painting it. And it just looks very, very nice. But it was very expensive.

The people had done a good job. It's just one thing which I'm unpleased of - they took out the medicine cabinet, which had a beveled edge mirror, and both of the bottom corners were a little chipped off. I could feel the cutting edge rather than the finished edge and it's on the bottom. They could have been a little bit more careful with that. And another thing, we realized that our cane to our commode had a hairline crack in the porcelain. If you feel across it there's a little cut in the porcelain. I have not called the company for it. I had to get somebody else to finish the bathroom and the wall cabinet we put in there plus the floor (that was just finished last weekend) because I had problems with that too.

The wrong things were sent to us by Home Depot where it was ordered and we had to wait and get another one. But they compensated for their mistake and that has been taken care of. We're happy with the outcome and the way they done it - very efficient, very good workers. We must have spent all total between $7000 and $8000 for that bathroom.

We were interested in an accessible shower so we purchased from Bath Fitter. The sales representative was extremely knowledgeable. He had been working with the company for a good number of years and he was very good and offered a variety of places that they had worked on both within the state and also fairly local that I could contact if I wanted information on their satisfaction. The installation people were also very clear about what they were gonna do and they clean up very well after. I was extremely satisfied and found the quality of the work very good.

The girl in Brewer had a bad experience and it made me wonder if I should go with them but I decided to do it and it was great. Everything was perfect! The salesperson made it very simple and very easy. The labor person was neat and efficient, cleaned up after himself and did a very wonderful job. I fully recommend it.

They were the cheapest so I went with them. I had them done a complete shower enclosure in August 2013. The sales guy came out, gave me an estimate and we worked together on a couple of things to iron out and then because their showroom wasn't too far away I actually went down and looked. I gave them basically a deposit to get everything ordered. And then the actual install was perfect - it was flawless. The technician came out and had all the parts with him. Good quality, timely, and cleaned up by himself. Bath Fitter deliver what they advertised. I wrote a review as well on Angie's List for these guys because I was very impressed with them.

My bathroom came out very nice with the exception of the wrong hardware showing up. Then it took a week for them to correct it. Also they don't offer spot free Moen products which is better quality. It still doesn't even look like it all matches 100%. Your choices are much more limited than if chose tile with a contractor. For a bit more I could have done anything I wanted & it probably would have looked even better and more stylish.

My real gripe is with the co. & salesperson who recommended a contractor. I said "is he licensed?" and they gave me his liability ins. info. He said he works under another contractor & gave a license # so I did a contract with him. I checked it out and it was valid. According to him and Bathfitter he is allowed to use someone else's license. When I later called the person that actually has the license with a complaint about his bad job on my floor, he said he has nothing to do with it, that he only works for Bathfitter. So Bathfitter refers this handyman that posed as a contractor which is borderline fraud.

Some co's here in Fl can get away with these shady practices. If you want this then go with Bathfitter. He raised my floors up too high so now I have a ramp going from my tile to my laminate in bedroom. He refused to admit it was done incorrectly. Also Bathfitter raved how great this guy was and he couldn't even finish one thing that he was doing before going on to something else. When asked why he does this he had no answer. What should have taken less than 1 month took 6 weeks - floors, painting, vanity replacement. I couldn't take it anymore, so I had to get him out of my house and hire someone else to finish things. He was unreliable only showing up 1/2 day some days, had other excuses - didn't show up for 2 days in a row claiming he had an emergency? and claiming truck broke down? Questionable.... He only had one person assisting him with floor and he wasn't there even 1/2 the time.

So I got screwed by Bathfitter's referral, paying contractors pricing when I didn't get that. So I get unreliable, incapable, and incompetent instead. Turns out this handyman only is incorporated and his insurance liability insurance lapsed while working on my job. This guy was a train wreck and it was a nightmare having him work on my house. Also it was left so filthy that I had so much to clean up myself during the job. Word to the wise, get a real contractor only with referrals from Angie's list preferably, contact the contractor first and stay away from these type of co's. I was in a hurry to find someone fast around the holidays to fix some things after a water heater flood and chose this too hastily.

My advise to anyone wanting to use Bathfitters, do yourself a favor and pay a little more to tile your bathroom and avoid them. I could get another bathroom done, but will not patronize them again after the trouble they caused me with this. They answer the phone with "how can we make you smile today" which makes them look like fools when they can't. Workers there don't seem to be trained to answer simple questions. I had a question re: product coloring and they said they don't know. So call Moen and find out! They said they would have to get a manager. How helpless can you be? They can't or won't go the extra mile. Also they blamed packaging on mfg. for me getting 1/2 nickle and 1/2 chrome in the box. It's highly unlikely mfg packs a brushed nickle item with a chrome item... Common. They just didn't check or follow up on my order, $4000 later.

I would think for that much I would get excellent service. Instead they blame me for changing my mind about the color. Then they act like they did me a favor by giving me the nickle instead of the chrome which they kept reminding me about afterwards.. But this was done before they messed up the colors. Also why are they so secretive about their pricing? It's $4000 for a shower and tub everyone and that's with a coupon. Does everyone know now?? Why do timeshares hide their pricing towards the end? So that they can try to finagle their way into getting the sale... So this fast talking finagler tells me that the handyman's name is exclusive, he can't give it out unless I buy the Bathfitter. Part of the reason I do Bathfitter is to get this great worker.. So he makes me think I am getting someone that is so great. What a scam and ripoff! Ask yourself if you want to be treated like this? Never thought that Bathfitter fit into this category. Now you know...

I had an existing fiber glass shower that had cracked on me and I needed to do something about it. The traditional shower stall was not gonna fit in there. It had to be something that was customized. I was approached when I went to Home Depot one day and asked me if I was interested in any different things, and there was a person who asked me if I was interested in Bath Fitter. I made the purchase last fall. The guy who put it on was a really nice guy.

After I had it installed, I thought it was wonderful but I've noticed a few things have started to go wrong and some things that aren't as good as I thought it was. I thought they would be much better on their measurements. The one thing that my wife was very concerned about, because she had seen this product in her friend's house, was that when you put your hand against the wall, it kind of gave. I don't want this to feel like you can push the wall. I don't know if the measurements weren't right when he bent it or what happened but there is a lot of give in the walls. And then there's some little knobs that have started to fall off. I can see where the caulking has started to discolor and I kind of thought that would happen anyway. There's a lot of caulking around the base and on the door and things.

I was hoping that there would be a follow-up to the installation but nobody had ever followed up to see how well we liked it. It really is an expensive product but if it works, it's worth the money.

Because of a leak part of my flooring had rotted out and I had a salesman from Bath Fitter to come out and give me price on repairing my floor and installing new bathtub/shower. The sales pitch was wonderful. Promised all would be done in 1 1/2 days or less. They were here 5 times and still did not do the job they said they would do. Only half of the bathroom flooring had to be replaced, but they lowered that part 1/2 inch. If not for my son they would not have come back at all. After trying to correct the flooring, they tried to cover up mistakes by caulking over holes they had made in the wall. Even after coming back all those times they still did not do the job correctly.

The salesman came out 2/27/14, gave me $300.00 credit, and threatened me with a lien on my house if I didn't pay the balance. Being a widow for little over a year, I paid. If I had only done my research about Bath Fitters, I would never had used them, because I have read some really horror stories, even from one of their former managers. Right now I'm just weighing my options about what to do to get the job done correctly. I have pictures, and would post them, but I don't know how.

They messed up the first install and when I said something a gentleman came out to tell me what they were going to do to rectify the situation, that was all well and good then reality struck. I did 85% of the tear out myself hoping it would give them more time to do a better initial install, a couple of broken floor tiles and misaligned faucet, shower head and drain were a few of the others. When they finally got around to fixing the problems the installer told me that part of the problem could not be fixed. All they did was reinstall new walls over the existing walls they had previously put up. When I put in the tension rod for the shower curtain it pushed the walls in leaving gaps at the molding where water can run behind it. The molding on one side was 1/2 to 3/4 of an inch out of plumb and looks terrible, so much for a good job and customer service! You will be lucky to see the photos I have attached, things like this have a way of disappearing. Tired of being taken advantage of, I am disabled Vet and on SS so this was a huge expense for this little fish in a huge corporate pond.

One change involved a price change, but it was a reasonable change. Tim actually constructed the shower base onsite to fit our odd shaped space. The guys who were here worked a non-stop 10 hour day and were very careful about cleaning up any mess. They put down runners across the living room floor, up the stairs and to the bathroom to protect our carpet. The shower is beautiful and very easy to clean. It has a fixed shower head and an adjustable hand-held shower. We definitely would recommend Bath Fitters - Erie to everyone. Nice, nice people of integrity and great workmanship.

So then he gave me a phone number and I called the sales representative, I called the office, and they sent out this gentleman. The gentleman that come out was very polite, very courteous, very explanatory about all the different types that was available to my dad and his price range. And then we paid to have a tub set up and accessories and the total come to like $7000 and some change and dad's portion was only $107 which was great. And the style... the walk-in tub or shower that dad has... there's a window in that bathroom and we thought maybe they would have to cover it and the salesman told me, "We can wrap that." And I said, "You can?" He said, "Yes, sir, we can wrap that. There's really no extra charge." And I said, "Well, mom loves to look out the window when she showers." So I said, "Let's do it!"

And then the installer, I believe he's out of West Virginia... he was A1. The gentleman was very good. He come in, we talked about it and then he went right at it and before you know it, he was just getting it done. He knows what he's doing. He's definitely not a rookie. He had put up a wall between the toilet and the shower and had everything done in 8 hours.

Dad and Mom loves it, everybody in the house (my sister moved back in, my niece moved in, so everybody showers back there. I don't shower back there - I got my own shower). It's just a quality job. I would recommend Bath Fitters to anybody that would ask me. After much consideration, my husband and I decided to do something about the deterioration of our bath area. My son, Wayde suggested that we attend the 20th Anniversary party at Bath Fitter, on Exeter Road in London, and after arriving we were immediately greeted by your salesperson Adam. He took my son and me into his fold and listened intently to our issues regarding the sad shape of our bathroom. His knowledge was impressive; he listened intently and offered many suggestions. After he visited our house (way out here near Port Stanley, Ontario), we signed a contract that frankly made my husband and I very nervous, as we are both seniors on a limited income.

We all realized the amount of work to fix our problem might be tremendous and feared the possibility of extra cost not mentioned in the contract, although Adam insisted that the estimate was complete and not subject to change - no matter what they found when everything was disassembled. On January 15th and 16th, 2014, the complete and installed shower in the bathroom of our home was soon considered by all of us to be a proud 'show-piece!!!'

Our sincere admiration is offered to your installer Dougie. He not only did a perfect installation, but he tailored the installation amongst any difficult issues apparent to this particular install. His overall attitude was friendly and forthcoming, and he made my husband and I very comfortable with the somewhat frightening and 'abrasive' nature of construction, and promised over and again that we had nothing to be concerned about. What talent and hard work, as indicated by his respect for my husband and I, and all of our questions answered as the work unfolded.

We will assuredly spread the good word to our visitors and friends, and as well, we all thank Adam for his support throughout this project. We are genuinely pleased with the work that has been done and thoroughly enjoy our new shower on a daily basis. Keep those two employees, they are golden.

We had Bath Fitter remodel our bathroom including taking out the old tub and putting up new fixtures and walls. I had it done early summer last year. Their sales people were very knowledgeable and answered all questions. The installation team was very good as well. They were very friendly, informative, answered my questions. Everything was pretty satisfactory. It was a very good experience. Very happy with the work, very happy with the crew that was here. We're really satisfied with the finished product.

I heard from some friends that they are satisfied with the job that Bath Fitter did for them, so about a month ago, I had them put a walk-in shower and a tub taken out. The rep is very knowledgeable, that was one of the things that impressed me. When the guy came to introduce it to me and show me, I was very impressed with him and also very impressed with the guy that installed it. I am as very well pleased with Bath Fitter and it met my satisfactions.

I thought I would take a moment to write to say thanks for an excellent job on my bathroom renovation. Scott was great on the sale. Explained everything to me and helped with the selection. Even when we ran into a "challenge" he came right over and everything got fixed right away. Excellent Service. Also Colin did a magnificent job on the installation. He took his time, wanted everything to be as I wanted and really cared about his workmanship (a rare quality these days). And he cleaned up after he was done each day. Very professional. So, as you can tell by now, I was and am very pleased with the result and the level of service provided by both Scott and Colin. Please pass on my personal thanks to both of them. Thanks and I will be recommending your company to others.

Our experience with Bath Fitter turned out okay but at the very first, I was really skeptical especially when I found out how much it was going to cost. But in the end, its a great tub. And they did a beautiful job. I still don't think it's worth that amount of money but I hadn't talked to any other company so I don't know if that's the going rate.

I was really happy with Bath Fitter. The young man who did our bathroom was really wonderful. It took two days because he had to take my old tub out because it was an old fiberglass thing and it was a mess and he couldn't put the tub over. He cleaned off and I would assume that most of all the technicians are like him. I think his name was Steve. I would recommend Bath Fitter. They have very good employees who seemed to know what they're doing. To have something done right the first time means a lot. My youngest daughter had Bath Fitter 15 years ago and she's the one who told me about them. I probably never really thought much about it until I needed a tub but she always told me how happy she was with hers.

Bath Fitter offered what I needed to redo, a bath, so I went with them. I had a shower taken out and a new shower put in, a new floor, sink and a toilet. I had to call them about a couple of things. When they do it, they put shelves in your bath and they use some kind of caulking to hold it, and it has come loose. They had come back to re-caulk. And now I've noticed I've got to call them back again because it's not holding - the shelving that goes into the corner. I had this remodel done a year ago. But as far as the experience, it was very pleasant.

We were told that cleaning the liner would be easy. That is not the case. We have only had the shower liner for a couple of months. It is already turning dingy looking. We were told not to use anything abrasive on it, that Windex would do the job. Does anyone have any suggestions? We were satisfied with the installation. It is just this problem now. I have back problems and this is so frustrating!

My wife was handicapped and we needed a walk-in shower rather than a tub. We saw the Bath Fitter advertisement on TV with a telephone number so we called and somebody came out and measured, and talked to us and gave us an estimate. It sounds good and we went ahead and signed the contract. It took them a few days to get here, but they did come and install it. It has worked very nicely ever since. You can walk into it. We had a chair for my wife to sit down on. She can put the water valves right where she can get to them. The sales rep had a check list and was pretty thorough. The installation team did it in 1 day. It was one guy and he was very polite, and did a good job. We're very satisfied with it. They did what they told us they were going to do. The price was less than another company.

The experience that I had with Bath Fitter was a little above fair. Initially I thought that we were gonna get a one-piece bath wall. It ended up being 3 separate pieces with the end piece that would be on the back wall. Originally we said the material was gonna be curved so that it would fit around the walls, without cutting anything. It didn't turn out that way. I was expecting to get a form or something from Bath Fitter shortly after the job was done. I never received one, so I don't know if that's their policy to wait most of the year before they call the consumer or if that should have been sent something a little bit earlier.

I first found out about Bath Fitter when we attended an RV show in Atlantic City at the Boardwalk Hall Convention Center. We went to look at it and there was a fellow there that had a display. I saw a lot of ads and our master bath was in need of a makeover. We've been living in the house for over 20 years and we redid the wallpaper, and the bathroom and the bedroom last year. My husband said, “We might as well replace the shower stall while we’re at it.”

We got the estimate from them and we were very pleased. The guy who came out and gave us the estimate was very pleasant, nice, and very true to his word. The installation team were very nice too. They got the job done in one day like they advertised. We've been very happy with the shower. We did have one small problem. After we had it installed a couple of months, the shower stall door was sticking a little bit. A fellow came right out and repaired it and we've had no problems since. I would highly recommend them. We’re very happy. The estimate he gave us was exactly what was charged and it was a good experience from start to finish.

My daughter had her bathroom done and she was happy with it. Then my husband thought the grout was a mess so he thought Bath Fitter might be the way to go. The installer was great. He came in, did his job, worked like a dog, worked really hard, cleaned up behind himself, and very pleasant. He was terrific. We had a shower stall put in. The sales representative was horrible; I never want to see that man again in my life. He had a script that he had to stick to and simply could not ask a question. You had to go along with the script page by page by page and it was awful. I would never deal with Bath Fitter again because of him, ever. And I found out later that they are deceitful.

Part of the appeal was the fact that my husband and I are in our mid 70s and this was going to be such easy maintenance. After it was installed I come to find out that actually every time we take a shower they recommend that you take a bath towel and completely dry the shower stall. And how is that easy maintenance for old people? That's ridiculous. I was flabbergasted at that. And then I ran into somebody else who has the same deal, younger person, old parents and they are not doing what they should do and theirs has yellowed so they are all unhappy. Another thing was that they kept insisting that nobody else made this one piece thing and now I come to find out that they are not the only one making the one piece thing; that was untrue.

I would never recommend Bath Fitter. The thing looks really nice and I'm very happy with how it was installed, but it is way overpriced and it does require more effort that they lead you to believe to keep it nice and for old people... that is a big issue. And then the last thing that was totally infuriating. I had a coupon but I had to do it right now or my coupon had no value. That is high pressure tactic that is totally ascensive. I would never use them again.

We are still dealing with this nightmare, they want full payment and we wanted it done like they said one day or at the very MAX two days. I would say 33 days is not even close, have problems with water sitting in threshold by shower door, there is more silicone than anyone could possibly imagine in one little area, it looks worse than the old shower. I am soooo sorry we got involved with these people!! DO YOURSELF A FAVOR, DON'T USE THEM. THEY LIE ABOUT WHAT THEY CAN DO FOR YOU AND HOW LONG IT WILL TAKE! IT'S NOTHING BUT A SCAM!

Years ago, we had our bathroom done over by Bath Fitter. I got arthritis in my two knees and I couldn't get over the tub, so I had them come and put the shower in for me, the low type where you just walk in. I like it very much. It's very convenient for me. We were always happy with the way they explained things to us, and we got along fine together. I've stayed with Bath Fitter, and I recommend them to relatives and friends, and whoever is in need of changes of their bathrooms and what they want new. I always tell them about the quality of the things they use, and the service is very good. I was never disappointed. And when anything goes wrong with anything in my bathroom, I'm guaranteed that since I live in this home and own it, they will fix it for me. So that's another plus. And I appreciate what they did for me.

We had Bath Fitter put in some wainscoting in our bathroom. We've had 3 experiences with them, and the first experiences were good. The last one was where we got into a little bit of a hassle where the representative did not know everything he was talking about. He drew up a contract. We signed the contract. And then we got a call back from the company to confirm the visit, but then they said it was not the correct price, and so they had to charge me for close to a thousand dollars more for the project. And it was the sales representative's mistake.

At that, my wife said we'll just cancel it. That's when the owner of the company called me back and asked if there was a problem, so I explained. He said, "I'll tell you what. That was his mistake. We'll honor the contract as is, as it is signed." But I said to him, "Hey, you can walk away from this. I'm not angry with you. He made a mistake. If that's what it costs us, that's what it costs us. We just don't want to go with it now." He pushed a little bit, asking why. I said we've had bad experiences with other contractors in the past where they would sign the contract but they always had a loophole in the contract where they can raise the price. The last one that did that to us went from $30,000 to $48,000. My wife said we're not going to go through that again, and so we just wanted to cancel the contract.

But Bath Fitter came in. They came and did the project for the price that was on the contract. They honored the contract, and they did the job. I was here the whole time, and helped the workman. It was a challenge because this is an old parsonage. It's not easy repairing the place. But he got the wainscoting in, and it looks great. They're a little bit expensive, but they do quality work and it lasts. They're a good company.
