I bought a house and the bathroom needed remodelling. I had talked to somebody about it but he didn’t give me enough information or didn’t do what he said he was gonna do as far as a quote. I was still mulling it over when I saw the ad of Bath Fitter. I called them and they got a sales guy out the same day. He was extremely nice, pleasant, and very informative. The installer was also very polite and he kept right at working at it and was very neat. I liked the product and I just knew it was gonna be a good way to go. I'm pleased with Bath Fitter.

We had Bath Fitter come and do an estimate for the installation of a shower. We had an upstairs bathroom that never had a tub, but I wanted to convert it into a shower. Bath Fitter's estimate was good for us and it was what we could afford. The sales rep came over, did the estimate, and explained what was needed to be done. He was very nice. We had worked on where to install a shower and the installer just put in a tub over the previous bathtub, and did the shower there. The installer did all the work in one day. This was completed last December and the quality was very good. Overall, it was a great experience and we're thankful to have the work done.

I contacted Bath Fitter-San Diego to have my master bathroom remodeled from a tub/shower to a roll in shower flush with the floor for easy access utilizing a roll in shower chair. Eila was my first contact and seemed nice and acknowledged right away my need for my master bath tub/shower conversion needs. Barbara in sales contacted me and I described to her my needs as well. She confirmed she could accommodate my needs for the master bath tub/shower conversion. The estimated cost was roughly $7K. I thought this was high but she said the master bath would need additional work on the plumbing and jack hammering would be necessary for the existing tub to be taken out to get the floor flush for a roll in.
The installation tech arrived while my tenant was there and began working on the WRONG bathroom shower. My tenant told the tech "you are doing the WRONG shower". He did not call anyone to confirm my tenants statement and warning. The tech made the decision to move forward in the WRONG shower. The installation consisted of wall product glued and applied to the tile and a shower pan dropped in with trim all in the WRONG shower. This shower installation was on top of my travertine shower which had beautiful glass doors, replaced with a shower curtain and a step to go over. I couldn't use this shower if I wanted to with a roll in shower chair.
The sole purpose of me contacting Bath Fitter was to reconstruct and install a "roll in shower" in my master bathroom so I could use my roll in shower chair. The salesperson was well aware of my needs and what I wanted. Justin and Barbara came to my home to try and resolve the problem of them installing the WRONG shower. He did offer to complete my bath to roll in shower at no additional cost. I told him I wanted my guest shower they ruined returned to its original state. He said this couldn't be done. I have been in business for over 50 years and his answer was completely unacceptable. I would not even consider having this company do another thing in my home. I do not recommend them at all. It turns out with elbow grease and the right contractor the shower could be restored to its original tile. Bath Fitter installation removal seen below shows they wanted to charge $7K to apply with glue a product on the walls and a shower pan with white caulking.

My mom’s parents have used Bath Fitter. My bathroom needed some work done and I was referred them. We got the walk-in shower and the installation went great. I don’t have any issues with anybody that we spoke to from Bath Fitter. We’re having some difficulty cleaning the glass door though and have not found a product that gets it clean. We just tried out one final thing this weekend, it didn’t work and we'll be calling Bath Fitter about it

From beginning to finish, Bath Fitter was amazing. I am a teacher and my boyfriend works long hours. Our bathroom was still decorated in the 50's style with mint green tiles and was yucky, and our other shower in another bathroom was falling apart, so it was time to remodel. We visited with some other remodeling companies and left our names, but Bath Fitter was the only one that contacted us, and they came out and their product looked good, so we went with them.
It was in November before we went to Arizona for the winter when we first talked to them and made a down payment. It was excellent with the sales rep. He was great. He helped us with the textures and how we wanted the tile or the fiberglass to look. We got from them a new tub and walls for the first bathroom and a new shower for the second bathroom, and the quality of our purchases were great. Then we went to Arizona after Christmas, came back in April, and the Bath Fitter guys called us right away because we told them to call us in April. The installation team were great, too. They put in the remodel and got this done in April.

We were having some problems with the ceramic tile popping out. It was old so we thought we needed to replace it. We wanted to make sure it was something we were only going to have to do once, so we went with Bath Fitter. The sales rep came to our house, gave us a quote and went over and showed us everything. He was very nice and knowledgeable. The guy who did our install ran into some trouble. The measurements were a little bit off. They had planned on it being a day but ended up having to come back but that was fine with us because he did a really great job. We were very pleased with it. He cleaned up real well after himself. When he had to come back the next day, he was very apologetic because we only have one bathroom. He felt bad but we understood and he did the best he could.

I just moved out of a big mansion into this little house, as my last home and I'm getting old and got tired of stepping over a bathtub, so I needed to do something and switched to a shower. I went with Bath Fitter as it was recommended to me by my daughter and somebody who has one told me they're pleased with it, in which I am too. The sales representative was very helpful and the installation guy was very good. I would only make one change that I wanted to do and the installation guy didn't seem to want to do it. He recommended that the safety grips/bars to be put vertically and I would've preferred it horizontally as I think it's safer, but it was working okay.

One of the house we own is a 1965 house and the bathroom was still in the original condition from when the house was bought. It needed some remodeling and we already had the other bathrooms done a couple of years ago with Bath Fitter. Their sales reps were very helpful that's why we keep coming back. The installers were very good at describing everything and cleaned up terrifically. They're in and out very easily. We don't like something that we're going to be toiling up for a long time getting done and then cleaning it up afterwards.

We have an apartment in DC and it had a very small bathroom with a shower stall that was thrown into it. It was a wall that was put up with a curtain. That was the one feature we did not like at all. It was dark because of the wall and we wanted something to brighten it up and make it look as if it had more space. My husband looked online and found Bath Fitter. We called them up and had a representative come out while we were there. He answered all the questions we had and let us talk it over and decide exactly what we wanted. Everything he showed us looked good to us and sounded like it was easy to clean so we went ahead and ordered it. Things went smoothly.
The purchase was around last October and they installed it this past December. The shower made a huge difference in the way the bathroom looks. I like it very much. We hadn't seen it for the six months it had been installed but my husband and I were there in May and again in June and really loved the shower. It has a sleek surface and nothing seems to get stuck on it as long as we keep it shiny. One thing that does not seem to work correctly is when the door swings open. The water in the little tray drips all over the floor. Otherwise, it's nice and we're very pleased with it.

Our bathroom had leaks everywhere so we were forced to remodel it. We did the tub and shower in two locations and Bath Fitter's installers were excellent. I had no difficulty talking to them. They did all the work very quickly and timely, identified an issue that we have to get fixed before we could have the basement taken care of, and it was all professionally done. We didn't mind talking to the guy who came out and talked to us about it and sold the contract, although he omitted a couple of important things on the work order contract. The necessity to put a sealing into both locations was left out and he didn't discuss it with the installers.

Our salesman, Jeff **, was very persuasive with us. We would liked to have had a chance to talk this over before agreeing to a contract when such a large amount of money is being considered. We had another company give us an estimate but liked the Bath Fitter product much better. We are very happy with our new bathroom--so much that I don't even close the shower curtain so we can look at the results. It is bright and clean and refreshing. I also would like to have had an itemized statement of what we purchased. I asked for this but did not receive anything. All in all the experience was very pleasant and was done in a timely manner. I would recommend Bath Fitter to anyone.

Our tub had a crack in it for a good period of time and we had spoken to other people and they said it couldn’t be fixed. The Bath Fitter gentleman giving the demonstration at a sporting show down at Mohegan Sun said they can fix it so we set up an appointment. We're out in the country, at Sullivan County, and the sales rep came and was here for four hours explaining everything and helped us out. We were a little shocked when she gave us the price because it's rather high end but we're pleased with the tub. So far, it solved our problem. I had looked into Bath Fitter for another house that we owned a number of years ago and my sister used them on her tub about 10 years ago and it’s held up very well. When she got it, it was a very straightforward design. And now, they got a lot more options which add a lot more to the product thing than I had seen in hers. We also went to a home show up in the King of Prussia area to look at a couple of options for a couple of projects we were doing. We saw their exhibit and the fact that it was seamless and it’s one-piece was important to us.
We actually wanted to see a larger piece of the product so we could get a better sense of it. And I was ill to go up to their facilities in the King of Prussia area. They kept me back in the warehouse and showed me a bigger sheet of the material they were going to use because the one he had was very small and even that was great. They’re really very professional, polite and knowledgeable, too. The call they did in our house was very low-key. They are pleasant people to work with and no hard sell. They put our purchase in about a month ago and the installation team was also terrific.

I bought two bath systems from Bath Fitter. They failed to show up when scheduled. When they did show up they installed the first system with a few issues regarding shower rod placement. The second system didn't fit. They reordered a new system (without remeasuring) and the second system came in and it didn't fit. At the same time as that debacle the ceiling from the first system detached and was sagging into the shower. When contacting the local office they can only provide excuses for why it will take so long to come look at the problem. Fast forward a month and a half the ceiling has again detached and is again sagging into the shower and again no joy from the local Bath Fitter folks. For the price I paid I have received nothing but problems. At nearly $5,000 one would expect a better end result. Service after the sale in nearly nonexistent.

It's been years that we've known Bath Fitter. They had a little station up at our local mall and every time we drove by, I said, "Well, that's interesting." I'm a deliberating person. So, finally, we walked by and they got the information. They came and made the appointment to come out to the house. Bath Fitter's sales professional was wonderful. He went through all the material types and why they use this and why they did that, and was very informative. I'm usually a question person who always ask "why" and "what happens if" and he explained everything upfront. Then the first guy came in and did all the measuring for the tub. He explained and reiterated everything the salesman had said and I was very comfortable the whole while. I usually get very nervous with a big item but I was reassured all the way. Then the installer made the appointment, showed up on time and was also wonderful.
Moreover, they have a lifetime warranty. They're reasonably priced, I was pleasantly surprised of the pricing, especially since they're offering that lifetime warranty. Right now we have a carpet up in our bathroom that came with the house that was built in the 1890s so we were thinking of pulling up the carpet and putting down tiles on the floor. And they said "When you do that, please call us. We will come out, free of charge and we will seal around the bottom of the tub and around so you don't have to worry about water leaking up underneath there." The installer even said "Yes, you can do it yourself. But it's just as easy to have us do it. It takes just a few seconds. We'll come out and do it in no expense." I also called them one time because I had a question, they answered it and it was great.

When we were looking to redo the bathrooms, we looked at Bath Fitter and got a tub unit and a shower unit from them. One of the bathrooms was a new tub, and it was a complete rebuild. The Bath Fitter sales guy was great. He was a typical promise-the-world sales guy. The installation guy was nice, he knew what he was doing, and he was very respectful of our house. The quality of work was very good, and it was finished quicker than anticipated.
The only thing is the lack of communication. Some of the stuff that the salesman told us didn’t exactly line up with what we were told once we signed up and got into the ordering and scheduling phases of the project. As an example, they had to come out and measure which is understandable, and the salesman said they can come out anytime and they can work with our schedule. However, when they called to schedule, they said they work from 8 to 4. We told them it's not going to work and we are going to cancel the job, but then they said they can work with us. That was a little disappointing.
Also, the lead time on materials was a little longer than anticipated. The estimated eight to 10 weeks ended up being more than 12, which was a little bit more than we anticipated. Scheduling the actual install was also a little frustrating. They said it would take three to four days, and then it became three and then they ended up doing it in two. There’s a time commitment on the line on that. In fact, they also said they don’t work on holidays and weekends. We wanted to take advantage of holidays, a three-day weekend, so we took off work and we're sitting at home on a Friday with no work going on in the house. The final product is great. The installation guy walked me through it. Even the guy that came out to measure once we got scheduled explained what he’s doing and why. He kept us up to speed in the process - all the documentation, the care, and maintenance. All that was fine, but the initial meeting could use a little improvement.

Our experience with Bath Fitter was very informative and painless. We had gone to a home show in Allentown and met up with them. They're the first one that we had talked with and we decided at that moment that's what we had wanted to do. The installation was seamless and only took a day and everything seemed to go along okay. The installer explained everything to me and I was happy with his work. However, we have not used that tub and shower since that bathroom's still in the process of having a new floor. We intend to use that until the whole thing's complete.

I was contacted by the new manager, Jimmy ** and he came to my home with a tester tub cover which fit perfectly. We scheduled an appointment for installation and it has been completed and I am happy. It was a shame I had to go through all the problems and was initially told they didn't have a mold to fit my tub but Jimmy did come through for me and I am now very happy with the product.

I had Bath Fitter come out and give me an estimate on 3/30/2016. Wayne showed up and did the measurements. Was very professional and personable. I accepted the bid he offered of 1550.00 and I signed the contract that night and signed up for credit. Later in the evening they had another gentleman come and measure the tub again. I didn't hear anything for a week and called and spoke to Samantha who orders the tubs. She explained that because of my tub size they would need to try two different test tubs and it would take 3 weeks to order. I never heard back and called them 3 weeks later 4/22/16. I was then told my order had been canceled by the Branch Manager (Rick). I had never canceled the order so this was a mistake. Samantha was very apologetic and gave me a 250.00 credit on my order and was told it would take another week.
Again no one called me so I started calling and got someone on 5/4/16. I called my salesman, Wayne, who called me back and explained that the depth of my tub was an issue and that they don't have a mold that will fit and that he was told they would not make one, even though I had already signed the contract. He did some research and said they could replace the tub but in a mold covering the tub and the walls for 3800.00, which is not what I wanted because my walls were just professionally tiled and I love the look. I don't want to cover them, just the tub. I was left very disappointed and with no resolution for my tub. I believe that they should have made a new mold to fit my tub but was told that was not an option so they canceled my contract.

We had one bathroom with a shower and a tub with a shower done by Bath Fitter and it looks very good. Installers were efficient, neat and they wore something on their shoes so they wouldn’t bring the mud in. However, they forgot one ring around the light. We’ve been calling them and they'll come tomorrow to put that in. Other than that, everything was fine and they did a good job.

We needed to upgrade our shower because the wall was caving in and we thought maybe Bath Fitters could help. I was not impressed with the sales representative. He made a great pitch. However, when the actual installer came, we found out the reality of it. The sales rep that came out said, "Oh, there might be some water damage behind it. Don't worry, the Bath Fitters will come and they will take care of all of the water damage and everything." We thought, "Okay. That's great. Let's go ahead and do it." So, when the actual installer came, he told us that unless it is pertaining to them fitting in the product, they do not take care of any of the water damage.
Thankfully, we didn't have any water damage and didn't have more worries but it could've gone bad. It almost amounted to false advertising, where the sales rep is promising something which the installer cannot deliver. We were a bit annoyed with what was going on. I really wish that the sales rep would have been honest about what entails fitting in a Bath Fitter product rather than giving us a spin, trying to sell no matter what issue is. I would still recommend them though but I would just have a caveat saying, "ask thousands of questions because of what the sales rep told us and what the reality was, were different."

I honestly would not recommend Bath Fitter to anyone. I have had the worst experience from the start. My wife and I had a bathtub/surround installed. We initially thought it was a great job. Looks can be deceiving. They say installed in a day but you cannot use the tub for 24 hours for obvious reasons. The installer took 10 hours to install (Friday) so we could not use the tub until Saturday night. Then during the week, we typically take showers.
That following weekend, my wife decided to take a bath. When she did that, she noticed a couple of issues. The bathtub enclosure did not seal to the wall so there was an obvious bend. There were also multiple areas where the caulk did not seal to the tub so the bottom of the enclosure could be seen. There were multiple areas where glue was left on the enclosure. They also caulked the tub to the floor which was smeared. Then when my wife drained the tub, the water poured down onto our ceiling in the living room. We contacted Bath Fitter immediately and they sent out a plumber who stated the installer neglected to put an extender on the drain so the plumber did and resealed it.
Then the following week, Bath Fitter sent out another installer to reseal the tub. He just caulked the areas and said they would most likely have to pull the whole enclosure off and restart from scratch. We had to reschedule again. Between the plumber and the installers, we are going on visit #4. A week later, 2 Installers came out. Per the manager on the phone, a manager would come out with a contractor/painter to assess the damage and make sure this install is ok. Neither manager or painter came, just the 2 initial installers. About 30 minutes into the install, one of the installers said he had to go, he had a family emergency but Bath Fitter would send someone out. The one with the emergency stayed until his replacement came. But while he was here, he decided to cut the enclosure. The problem with this, he cut it all wrong.
After several hours of Bath Fitter being here, the 2 installers came down to apologize to let us know the error that was made. They attempted to call corporate but there was not another enclosure that matched ours. Because of this, they would reimburse us $400 from the 3400 already paid. So not only do we have ceiling damage, we have this poorly cut bathroom that we had to wait another 2 weeks before getting installed. All the while, changing our work schedules to be here.
Visit #5, new installer and the painter. So far the install is fine. it has only been literally 5 minutes. I will let you know tomorrow when I can actually use the tub, but the painter -- what a joke. We were told on the phone that the painter would paint the entire ceiling because if you paint just one area, it would be noticeable. I guess no one told the painter. He came in and asked us if we had the ceiling paint. We were like WTF! Then he started to scrape the ceiling to get a sample to match the paint. He left to do that, came back, and put some paint on the ceiling. He said that wouldn't work which was quite obvious. He then scraped more paint, left, repeated. Again, not a match. All the while I am thinking "Why is he color matching if he is supposed to do the entire ceiling?"
Anyway, attempt #3. He went to the ceiling on the opposite wall by our front door. He then takes a chisel and hammer and hammers out a chunk of ceiling. Seriously? He was like, "Need to get a correct match." He really had to take a chunk of ceiling??? When he came back, he filled in the hole, very poorly I might add, painted the water-stained ceiling and left. So now we have a bright area of painted ceiling and still an obvious hole in our ceiling.
Again, this has been our worst decision ever!!! We have had to make multiple complaint calls only to get partial resolutions, or get one job fixed only to royally mess up something else. For instance, we will have to have our bathroom ceiling repainted as well. The installers scraped up the ceiling from the install and my wife just had the bathroom painted. I did have 3 other individuals interested and we're going to call Bath Fitter until they found out the ordeal my wife and I have had with you. I will say after I called again, they finally made an offer to reimburse us 50% but honestly we should have gotten 100% back. Now we have to miss another day of work because they are going to resend the painter back out at our convenience. Visit #6.

It was a hard bathroom for them to work on but they were very quick and very pleasant about it all. They've all been very professional and we like the results.

Original Review: June 9, 2016
My sales guy Jeff was very nice, but he way oversold what services Bath Fitter actually performs when installing a bath surround. There was rot beside the tub. I was told would be fixed, it wasn't. Otherwise he was very knowledgeable and we went with Bath Fitter over other companies based on this knowledge. Scheduling was a breeze and the unit arrived ahead of schedule. No Complaints. Installation went well, though I was disappointed that much of what I had been sold on getting fixed along the tub edge, wasn't since the surround was cut to the edge of the tub, not beyond it.
However, the next day is when the troubles began. This is a rental unit that I had new tenants moving into. The new surround had already come unattached from the wall, only 1 day after installation. A 18" long seam had popped about 1/2" off the wall and was bowed in the middle. I called in to complain and was told the service manager would get right back to me.
24 hours later still no contact from the service manager so I called to complain again, they told me the service manager would call me back in 30 minutes after they couldn't get him on the phone. 45 Minutes pass, still no call, I call a 3rd time to complain. They finally get the service manager on the phone - he tells me he's busy dealing with another emergency (apparently none of their Ohio crew can install anything correctly) and he'll be over to see the problem in 90 minutes. 4 hours later he shows up... He says and I quote, "I have no idea what's wrong with it, I'll have to put you back on the schedule."
Here we are 2 weeks later and a guy is out to fix it. Don't sell services you don't actually provide. Don't tell people you'll call people and then never call back. 3 calls to get someone on the phone only to have them tell you they have no idea what is wrong. 3 wasted vacation days from work all for nothing. I would never recommend anyone use Bath Fitter ever.

First off, the measurements were taken wrong. We were told that the wall would extend the the ceiling. It did not. Next, scratch on wall, installer had to get new wall. So finally at 10:20 pm, I was told door does not fit, another has to be ordered. Was given a shower curtain. New door will be in in another 4 - 5 weeks. I paid 7k for the fact this would be done in one day. I asked for compensation. I was fed a line that the door needed was a extra 2k but they would eat that cost. Not happy at all. I have two other bathrooms to do, and I will not use Bath Fitter again.

Following a visit to our local Home Show and a visit from a Bath Fitter sales person we contracted for a replacement shower from Bath Fitter. Work was to take two days and the installers arrived, as scheduled on 5/4/16. Day one was mostly demolition and prep work and installation of the shower pan and plumbing. So far so good. Day two saw the installation liner and fixtures including the glass door. I inspected after the liner went in and, while the joint between the wall and pan was tight at the back wall, both side walls showed gaps of about 1/4". In addition exterior trim work showed similar gaps. The installer said the gaps were "within their tolerance" and proceeded to fill all the gaps with clear silicone. When the installers finished I told them of my dissatisfaction with the work and withheld payment of the contract balance.
After waiting 24 hours for the sealers to dry, I prepared for my first "new" shower only to find the door would not close. I called Bath Fitter and was advised they would have their "expert" come to make adjustments in a week. I meanwhile examined the installation more closely and found the shower pan had been installed considerably out of level thus accounting for the wall gaps and the door problem. When the expert arrived he could not adjust the door to fit and said he needed to order a new and narrower door. That would take another week!
Next visit with the new door he was accompanied by the Branch Manager! The new door did not fit either! Now the Expert and Manager decided the only fix would be to tear out the un-level pan and re-do the installation. This was scheduled for 6/2/16! The day before I received a call from the Manager who said another "Expert" was coming and that they would make the door work and would not require a re-do. This time they got the door to work but, again, after the 24 hr wait the door hangs up in the same place! I am so fed up with trying to get this right - I do not want these people in my home again. Unfortunately every shower I take will remind me of of what an idiot I was to ever get involved with Bath Fitter!!!

On 4/29/16 Bath Fitter representative was at our home and provided information on installation of upgrade to shower in master bedroom. Initial deposit was made of $1000. The contract stated a specific date of installation of shower which was done. The salesperson said that 4-5 days after installation of shower the glass would be installed due to measurements that needed to be exact for cutting after shower installation. When installation of shower complete the installer said it would be 10 days for glass. I called the office and explained that is not what we were told and it was explained that the salesperson had made an error.
On the day of shower install a credit card payment was made for $2300. After 10 days I get a call on day of installation of glass that the wrong glass had arrived and it would be another 10 days. Now on 6/2/16 the installer arrived, put the glass door and window in, only to find that the wrong rubber fittings were sent and installation could not be completed. I heard from the office that supposedly on 6/3/16 the correct rubber would be provided and then installed. I asked for consideration on my bill for all these delays and was told "so sorry but we can't do anything".

For the coming THREE AND A HALF HOURS he kept selling me the greatness of the product - and avoided answering my questions which were: when, how and mostly how much.
When it came to the How Much - I was told that I have to decide NOW if I want to enjoy the 10% discount. NOW NOW NOW. When I said I can't, I was grilled what stops me from making a decision NOW. I am sure the product is great, but I don't make 10K decisions NOW. Oh, if I have a problem, they can help me with financing - but I did not get an answer at what percent. PLEASE! We were unable to get our bathtub clean anymore, so we remodeled it with Bath Fitter. We chose them because of their price and several friends of ours had used them and were very happy. Their sales reps answered a number of questions. One came out to the house and answered more questions before they came in and did the measurement and the remodel. I was very impressed with the man they sent to our home. Normally, when you have 40-year-old plumbing, you tend to hear some bad words being thrown about. There was none of that. The man came in, explained what he was going to do, got to work, stayed at the job the entire time, and cleaned up after himself. Everything went very smoothly for me.
I know that he ran into some problems within the bathroom itself. Our plumbing is very old and I know that there were extra things that he had to do, but he did them and there were no complaints. There was no mention of having to take the price up or anything like that. I was very thankful. I felt secure having this strange man in my home. He was very quiet. He got to work, did what needed to be done, and I was very comfortable. He was the type of guy that you didn't worry about. I was very satisfied and I have recommended them to a number of people.

My wife and I are both visually disabled (blind) and in many cases need to rely on the honesty of the sales person. We were given the sales pitch, not the truth, by the Bath Fitter sales rep. He told us the new supplied bathtub liner would fit perfect and conveniently does not tell you that they may damage your existing bathroom fixtures such as recessed soap dishes or shelves mounted to your bath walls!
We had a Bath Fitter rep come to our home in March and he told us the new tub liner would fit perfect, just like a paper cup in a cup or like a glove. The model tub they show you fits perfectly tight to the model tub underneath. We asked about our tub that has a contoured front and he said it would not be the same. We accepted that but were insistent that the inside of the tub fit properly!!! The rep told us the tub would fit perfect and it would be about 2 weeks and someone would contact us to arrange installation.
A month later and I was starting to have second thoughts. I called Bath Fitter and expressed my concerns that I didn't believe the tub was going to fit properly (I wanted the tub to fit tight inside, with no flex) and if it didn't I did not want it and I certainly didn't want to have to pay for it. I was assured it would be perfect, no gaps, a nice tight fit inside!!! Well, I got talked back into it, I also called the rep and he told me if it doesn't fit as he said you shouldn't have to pay for it!!! Well the installer for Bath Fitter came about 6 weeks after the original order and installed the liner. Prior to the install, the installer tells us that one of the two ceramic shelves we have on the wall must come off and he will break it off and replace it with a plastic shelf made from the same stuff the liner is.
I ask to see the plastic shelf and the soap dish he is going to install. I tell him no one told us anything about breaking stuff and I didn't want the Bath Fitter cheap looking shelf or soap dish, it wouldn't match my remaining shelf. To the installers credit, he is careful and does get my shelf off without damaging it as well as a polished brass recessed soap dish but the soap dish did get bent up a bit. However, the installer tells me the tiles almost came off the wall while he was removing the soap dish and ceramic shelf.
My wife, after the install is finished, asks "can we go look at the finished product." The installer concerned we were blind and we may mess up the silicon with our fingers, told us to let it sit for at least 24 hours. Well we couldn't wait and a couple hours after the installer left, we went an felt the tub, being careful not to touch the areas with silicon. Within 5 seconds, my wife says, "What are these big waves on the front inside of the tub?" I take a look and there are two waves from the top front edge almost to the bottom of the tub and I can push them in at least 3/8 of an inch. I can also flex the entire front inner side the whole rest of the way to the end of the tub and the other side is also hollow and flexes all the way and it doesn't touch either.
It turns out that the liner is only touching my original tub in 3 places, about 3/4 along the top front edge and at the overflow (because the screws that hold it on force it too, and at the drain because it is threaded down!!!). If you look at the liner at the overflow, the overflow is not centered, it looks like the liner is deformed, This is what they call fit perfect and a tight fit??? I have a manager come out and look at the tub a couple days later. He says "it shouldn't be like that." He says "We will make it right." He also says it was not installed properly.
I tell the manager, "If you had this at a home show and displayed a tub that fit like this you wouldn't do much business." A few days later they send another problem solver guy out to look, all he can say is "Well it will function fine." He also says "not that it isn't a proper install but that the liner must have been a bit deformed from the mold." Then the rep keeps saying 'We can replace it with another liner that is 1/8" different in size but we can not guarantee it will not turn out the same...' I tell them "I don't want the same result, if you can't make it fit properly I don't want to go through this again."
I tell the rep "your installer just about pulled my tiles off the wall the first time and now you want to try doing it again? I don't want to risk a bigger messes and surely tiles or the shelf will break if you try and do it again..." This definitely isn't what I paid for, I tell him I checked other refinishers (I originally had my tub refinished 12 years earlier), and currently I could have had the tub refinished 3 times by other companies for what I paid for this mess. I point out the offset of the overflow is not center and he tells me he thinks the original mold must be deformed!!!
Beware of Bath Fitter, they will promise the world and deliver crap. I know, I paid over $1400 for a crappy job!!! I cannot provide a receipt, they never gave me one. I do have the original order and I am sending it with this complaint! And expecting nothing! Funny I paid them all this money and didn't get a receipt! I can if requested supply the VISA charges they submitted!!! Like I said I am blind, the Bath fitter rep in my area has photos, and told us it should not be like that. He took photos and promised us a solution. We are still waiting!

We received the install only for not even a couple of months later had to have several areas redone. And yes we waited the full time frame to use the shower after the install.
Currently our tub is floating and shower head is falling out of the wall. We also have black mold growing in all the areas that had to be redone previously. I have called and left several messages. It's been so long with our issues. I have been told, "Your new tub was never ordered, it's in the warehouse. Oh, it will take 3 to 6 weeks for a new one. Oh, oops, I guess it wasn't ordered." You would think for 4000.00 dollars we would have received much better service.

Our house is approximately 40 years old. It was the original tub and there were starting to be a few chips at its bottom, so we were looking to update. Most of the time, we like to do things ourselves if we can, but it's a small bathroom and we knew that we couldn't do it ourselves without taking out walls, and we didn't want to do that. We heard about Bath Fitter through a friend. They had Bath Fitter come in and install a new shower in their home. We took a look at what they had done in our friend's bathroom, and we were very pleased with it, so Bath Fitter looked like a good option for us. Last fall, we had a bathtub with a shower put in. Then we also had a safety bar and a corner shelf with three shelves put in.
The sales reps had a good array of knowledge about all the products. My husband was here when the installer came to our home. He stopped in off and on because he works here in town. I was working that day and they came after I had left for work, and by the time I got home at around 4:00 PM, they were all done and gone, and I was very pleased. Everything was cleaned up nicely and nothing was out of order. It was an excellent experience and I was very pleased with what they did.

Our bathroom was a mess so it was time to remodel it and we went with Bath Fitter as I had work done with them before. Their sales representative was a funny guy, nice, easygoing, pleasant, courteous and all those good things. I loved him. Also, the installation guy was on point, serious, and direct with what he was doing. Yesterday, my wife was getting into the shower. When she turned the faucet on and off for a hot water, there's a thump in the line. I can hear it all the way up the wall coming out of her bathroom into the bedroom. The plumbing runs up so something is not secured right there. Aside from that, remodeling our bathroom made a great difference and we're satisfied.

My bathroom needed some work and I wasn't capable of doing it. Then I purchased a shower from Bath Fitter a couple of months ago. One of the reasons I went with them is due to the superb and excellent sales representative. He went through his spiel and answered adequately any questions that I had. I also had a good rapport with the installation manager. He pointed out some of the things that the salesman didn't. Both installation manager and salesman explained and defined the whole situation-- all the warranties, guaranties, and everything else with it. The guy who did the installation was a workaholic. I couldn't even get him to take a break for a glass of ice tea. He said, "No. That's all right. I got to keep working". They did an excellent job in two days, so I can hardly argue about that.

The unit that was in our house which was built in 1964 was more like a hot tub than it was a tub/shower and the drain was whole messed up - it was functioning but was not pretty. So I had a friend that did some work on one of the other bathrooms and he gave us an estimate on doing that bathroom for what we wanted done. He even recommended that we call Bath Fitter and get them to give us an estimate on doing the job, but we knew my friend's price would be a lot more than what the company's would be, so we purchased the shower pan from Bath Fitter.
Their sales rep represented the company very well and he got our confidence in the company very high. He was very congenial, full of knowledge about the company, product, and procedure and had all the answers to questions we had which put us at ease. The installer was very personable as well, explained what he was gonna do and kept us informed throughout the whole thing. He had to bust the tub out but did a fantastic job of cleaning up his mess when he left. We're totally pleased with the outcome. The whole bathroom was installed but still has the little one-inch tile and the work performed enhanced it because we couldn’t afford to tear all those tiles out and start over again. We're very pleased and I would recommend Bath Fitter all the way.

When we remodeled our bathroom we had limited options because we live on a boat. Bath Fitter was the only one that offered an acrylic shower that wouldn't break or crack. There was no caulk involved, no hard surface that could be a problem. Our sales rep was really nice. He came to the boat and explained everything to us. We felt well-informed. He didn't understand some of the details about a boat and the odd things about construction around a boat. But the installer who came to do the shower was able to compensate beautifully. He was really impressive because he was able to see some things that the salesman didn't see. We have a nice product and we're really happy with it.

My expectations were managed effectively because these guys walk like they talk. My wife and I will use them again.

I had a giant hole in my bathroom wall so I decided to get the services of Bath Fitter. Everything went well. The only concerns I have is that they ripped a part of my wall and one of my tiles that have a trim along the floor of the rest of the area of the bathroom. Also, the tile along the shower is starting to pull up because they disconnected it from the wall. It’s not too bad but they put tears in the dry wall next to the shower where they started along the edge where they glued the shower part in. Then there’s a big old gash on the bottom of the wall, a foot underneath that. Then they put the nozzle that comes with the shower, but I already had a shower hose that I was going to put back in there. Nevertheless, everything’s where it’s supposed to be and the shower looks great.

We decided to give the office in Regina a call. They came and measured our bathtub and in a matter of about an hour or so, we decided on fixtures, tub surround, shower rod and corner shelves, even a grab bar!!! I hated my bathroom so I decided to remodel it. I got a tub and shower from Bath Fitter. Their sales rep was a little pushy. She treated me like I was a child and I’m a 50-year-old woman. But she got the job done and then left. Two gentlemen came for the installation. The lead guy was incredible. I couldn’t give more raised remarks for him. He was helpful, nice and worked the whole time. He was saying that there might be an issue because the lip wasn’t big enough. The walls have to sit on the edge of the tub and he ended up fixing it. It took him an extra day but he ended up doing something that made it work. I appreciated that because he kept me from having to pull out the tub. He was excellent.
The other one seemed to be always talking on his phone, goofing around. The lead guy kept saying, “Hey, can you get me this?” He ended up having to go out and get all those stuff himself. I’m like, “Why did they have this guy work in here? He’s not going to do anything.” Then he had to crawl under the house so I showed him where the door was but I told him he had to unscrew it because the hinges don’t work. As he was doing it, instead of totally unscrewing it like I told him, he starts cracking it to open it up and I had to yell at him. So, he damaged my home. My son had to fix it for me. I didn’t want anybody to come back on my property after he did that.
Nevertheless, I would definitely recommend Bath Fitter to a friend. They provided me a beautiful bathroom at a minimal cost and I am quite happy with it. I think that they need to vet their employees a little better because I felt bad for the lead guy that was there because he thought he was going to have an assistant and he didn’t.

When preparing to upgrade the bathroom in our 145 year old house we visited the Bath Fitter booth at the Orange County, NY Home Show in March, 2016. Prior to that we looked at and shopped several possible shower vendors and this was the only one that really drew us in. We were intrigued by the material and the process. Also, because this is a one bath house, being able to have a fully functional shower in a day was a big plus.
They called us within 48 hours to set an in home visit for the following week at our convenience with no pressure. The sales rep came and spent a good deal of time measuring and explaining everything. He had us sold in no time. A good part of that was due to the fact that we could contract with them separately to do the installation of our upgraded floor, toilet and sink/vanity as well. This was a huge bonus and really sealed it since we wouldn't have to find and pay another contractor for that work. The cost was extremely reasonable too!! Our regular guy doesn't do bathroom work!
As you can imagine with a house of this age, we had a few challenges with this upgrade, mostly with the floor issue... but Bath Fitter stepped up in a BIG way and our installer did a fabulous job! Prelim consult was comprehensive, work environment was fast, clean, and complete. Wish we would have done this years earlier to enjoy the beauty and better functionality of the projects. It looks so clean and fresh, and updated, that it adds great value to our resale plans.

I heard about Bath Fitter's reputation and the guaranty they offered was good, so, I thought that they would always be there for any of the flaws that might come along. I paid to have the bath shower enclosure at my daughter's house. I don't like dealing with people that install things because they feel too pushy. But, my experience with Bath Fitter was very comfortable, and they had to do work behind the wall. I got everything done without any angst. However, my daughter still needs them to come back because water is leaking from the opening at the back of the main faucet for the bath. So, she's been in touch with them to coordinate the schedules. There's also a little spot in the corner of the window that they had to build around that's a little crooked. The manager took a look at it and they said they couldn't fix it because it's a flaw in the structure. Otherwise, the unit is beautiful and I think it will last a long time.

I have a very large shower and the pan appeared to be cracking. I was afraid that there might be water getting down underneath the shower pan (as it turns out, it wasn't and only needs shower replacement) so I looked online and obtained estimates for the job to be done. What I got were all unnecessarily complicated and expensive. So I contacted Bath Fitter locally in San Diego and somebody came out to the house with all the brochures and information and that was the best option I saw. The sales rep was very efficient and persuasive because after he gave me the information, I decided to go with it without seeking further estimates.
The installation guy was also very efficient and personable and did an excellent job. Overall, I experienced quick response and excellent installation from Bath Fitter. But later on, when somebody came to clean my house, she pointed out to me that there is an opening in the back of the shower where water can get through. The grout has come looser.

It was at the Mira Mesa Street Fair where I first heard about Bath Fitter. I was desperate to remodel my shower and I chose them for the job because they use acrylic. That made a big difference to me because it was easy to maintain and clean. I also liked what they showed me when they came to the house. The sales representative really explained everything in great detail. He had a lot of pictures to show me and gave a lot of explanations of why the product was good and a valuable investment. Then we went to the bathroom, he measured, and we talked about what I wanted and why I wanted it. He gave me a lot of choices and tried to bring the price down to something that was workable for me.
The installer was also very efficient and professional. He came on the day he said he would. He was here the entire day, just as he said he would, and did a good job. I needed him to come back because one of the little disk of the grab bar wasn't staying on the wall - it would come off when I wipe down my shower. The same guy came back to fix it. I felt that was good customer service. I'm very satisfied.

Our bathroom is getting old and very hard to clean. I wanted something that can be done very quickly and won't take many days to do the job. I checked some reviews and feedback from people who used remodeling companies, and Bath Fitter was the one who has the good reviews. The person who came to the house to do the estimate and measurement definitely was honest, very professional and has all the information needed to show what need to be done and the price associated with the choices. There are multiple options as far as the materials.
I was very impressed with the installer who went to our home. I was called to schedule the appointment and said they will be here at 8:00 and they were at the door by 7:55. The person was very professional. He’d done everything to keep the area and the stairs he used very clean, even outside. He also initially thought he will need two days but he made a point to stay and finish the whole job in one day. He set up the tubs, walls and the ceiling and whatever accessories that came with the order.
I was wondering whether Bath Fitter would be able to remove the old materials and install the new stuff in one day. I was impressed with the speed, the efficiency, the tools and the materials they used. There were no issues with the piping, installing the new materials and doing the cleanup. We're very happy with the tub. If I have to do it again and for sure, I will do it in my other bathroom or if I have another house, it’s well worth it. I thought the price is a little bit on the high end, but after I saw what they installed and the time it took, it was great. So overall, I would give A+ to the whole thing.

I went to the Christmas show at the Tradex in November, and saw the Bath Fitter booth. They were running a contest for the ugliest tub, so I thought to enter. I never expected to win, but I did. They contacted me and we set up an appointment for the initial consult. The sales person they sent was very friendly. We decided to pick some extras to add to our new tub, like a ceiling, curved shower rod, safety bars, adjustable height, handheld shower nozzle, shelves and soap dish.
Within a few weeks, they were in to do the renovation. The entire thing took 10 hours total. The tub is lovely. The water stays warm longer. It is much easier to clean. The non-slip floor is really good and it also is easy to clean unlike non slip mats. The safety bar makes it really easy for my mom to get in and out of the shower. Lots of storage with all the shelves so everyone can keep their own toiletries in the shower also. It has been a really good experience, and has actually motivated us to renovate the rest of the bathroom. Our bathroom has gone from one of the worst rooms in the house, to one of the best. I would definitely recommend Bath Fitter to anyone looking for a painless renovation.

I don’t take baths at my age and wanted the bathtub taken out and a shower put in. They did another bathroom in my complex on a rental and they let me come in and look at it. I really liked the presentation when the rep came out and talked to me. She really sold it to me. It was a great presentation. Also, since I've paid for it all at once, she gave me a discount, which was great. Then she gave me five or six business cards, and she gave me another discount for handing them out to people. She's awesome.
There was one installer and one trainee that came to my home and they got the job done really quickly. They told me that they could do it in one day and they did. They cleaned up and walked me through what I should use to clean the shower. They were really good about that. It's really quality work and it's a beautiful shower. I have no dislikes at all with Bath Fitter. One of the elderly ladies in my complex also used Bath Fitter on my recommendation.

He came back a couple of times to make sure this is what we wanted, and he’d answer all the questions. The installer was very nice and thorough. He got it done within a reasonable amount of time.
Unfortunately, it had been leaking since November when it went in. My husband was under the house for another matter and noticed that there was a big puddle of water right underneath the tub. We had to call the installer and bring him out. He did not get the drain sealed properly. So they fixed it up and didn’t seem to be leaking within a day or two after. We’re going to check it again in a couple of months to make sure. But overall, Bath Fitter was on time and the schedule was just as promised. Everything went smoothly. Things happen and I don't expect perfection, but they took care of the problem right away and everything worked out okay.

I decided to remodel my bathroom because of its really bad condition. I wouldn’t want to use it because it was so dirty. I couldn’t clean it and I couldn’t find the better and cheapest way to clean the bathtub. It's also because it was a rental unit and the tenants don’t take care of stuff for me. When I tried to ask contractors, they all shook their heads. If I get a contractor to do it, that means I would have everything taken apart and it would take a longer time. There were also those scary stories like scams.
Then when I called Bath Fitter's 800-number, nobody bothered to return my call. I emailed them and a rep gave me his number to call. I left a message for two days but they wouldn't call me back. So I called again and Scott picked up. I asked him questions like the best way to do the remodel, what the products are, and tried to compare prices. Another rep finally came over to do the measurements and explained things. They’ve given me the option to pay in cash, finance or charge it through a card. I decided to go with Bath Fitter because they said the job would only take half a day. They did the bathtub with the shower door and there was also a soap dish on the wall. They said I don’t have to do the wall because it was still in good condition.
One thing I wasn't too sure about was about them doing the manufacture outside California. They did that in Texas which was why it took them a whole month to get everything done and then ship it here. They knew how to pack, though, making sure that it doesn’t crack during the shipment. I worried about the item cracking and causing another delay. They tried to do that in a month instead of their initial estimated two months. They must have realized that 2 months was too long, that’s why they tried their best to rush it. Then the installer came in on time at 9:00 am, which was good, then he was out the door before lunch.
It would be best if Bath Fitter could improve their timing when remodeling a bathroom. A lot of people are moving into the house so they would not want to wait for them to come and then also have to schedule a day off. They could also employ more people within the city or state instead of outside of it. They might be thinking that it's cheaper labor in Texas than up here, but they're not saving money in the shipping and the timing. For now, I'm just hoping that the bathroom will last me the next 10 years.

The reviews for Bath Fitter were better than the others and it looked liked they offered the service for what I wanted to do which was relatively small. The other companies did a lot more in terms of remodeling the whole room but I only needed to do a shower in one room and a bathtub in the other. It was time to remodel the bathroom years ago and I looked into having somebody do the bathroom with the shower. It was gonna cost a fortune and we weren’t gonna get more space. I had a white shower, an original shower that was an old tile, built inside - one that had been painted so it was all funny underneath. Bath Fitter replaced that shower with a nice glass door and the fixtures and the shelf for that room. Then, in the other room, it was a bathtub and they replaced the shower rod. It was the best solution that was also not too expensive. It was a good quality product.
During the purchasing process, we had a salesman come out and do all the measuring, but all of a sudden this particular salesman was gone. Somebody who was a manager or much higher up in the company had to come out to make sure all the measurements were right and make sure everything was gonna be the way we wanted it. They were able to answer all our questions and I felt good about what they were gonna do with our situation.
The installation team did it in two different phases because we needed to have a bathroom at some point so they did the shower first. Those guys were great, very professional and did a great job. They cleaned everything up so that it was perfect when they left. The second phase was a the bathtub which is a smaller job and the installer that came was also wonderful. I felt really good about the people that came for the installation. Having Bath Fitter's service is a great way to do a simple remodel if you don’t wanna do the whole thing. It was definitely a very easy job for me to work with the company. I was thrilled.

Bath Fitter installed a new bathtub for me and in the process cracked a tile on my wall. After several attempts to get them to address it, with no response, I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau; they called me back then, but sent their guy to fix it with the incorrect supplies. I asked them not to fix it unless they did it correctly and if they couldn't fix it, I asked for compensation for my cracked tile. Again, I received no response. The Better Business Bureau closed the case unresolved.
I do not recommend Bath Fitter; I received terrible customer service even though it's a lifetime guarantee and I know I am stuck with a cracked tile that they don't have the skills to fix or decency to compensate me for. I also had to call them back 3 times to get the silicone work done correctly. They had to order a new set of doors because the ones they installed were defective and I had to call twice to get them to come up and replace them. They also left 2 messes in my basement for 4 months before they finally cleaned it up (after I filed with the Better Business Bureau). Terrible, terrible, terrible experience... I would not recommend them to anyone.

I recently went to a showroom to look at the product. I saw the product at the trade show in Edison, New Jersey last month. While at the show I filled out paperwork to be contacted and was promptly given a $600 off coupon to use on a tub and bath surround set up. I was never contacted. After I went to the showroom I scheduled to meet a salesperson. I was looking to use the product in a rental unit and to have the possibility to do multiple units over time. I decided on the plain tub and plain walls as it needs to be nothing fancy. I asked "If I do multiple units at once is there a bulk discount?" I was told "No!!" I then said "I have the coupon for $600 off I received at the show and there is also the $500 I could use if it was expired." I said "If we did 3 units at once I would use a coupon for each. If there was a hang up with it, then the pieces would be done in my tenant's name and each would use a coupon."
Needless to say they said I cannot use any coupon. Must be nice that a business can not only turn down the possibility to do 3 bathrooms within 5 feet of another. And there is nothing in the coupon that says it cannot be used for my use. I was even going to upgrade the walls to tile look and not just the plain smooth white. They said it was only $150 or so to upgrade to a pattern. Sorry but to turn down close to 10k for one day of work make this company look very bad in my opinion. If you have a coupon you advertise then you need to accept it!!!

Ordered a 60" soaking tub. In order to install, the installers took out an unnecessary wall in my bathroom (which I begged them to take out) and built a new half wall that would contain the new tub. However, when the salesman first measured, he had no way of foreseeing that there was a vent pipe in the wall we were taking down. What he could have foreseen was that if a 60" tub was installed, including half walls and lost space, that would put the end of my half wall at 14" from the outer wall of the bath - no room to maneuver. I had to settle with the 54" tub - which isn't what I wanted.
After thinking about it overnight, I called the company to find out about a price reduction - after all, I'm being asked to take a tub I don't really want, a full 6" shorter than what I do want. First the local office told me they don't give discounts and the salesman couldn't have foreseen the vent pipe. Well, no, he couldn't have. But I wouldn't have ordered it so quickly (and maybe not at all) if I knew I had to have a 54" tub. Then I called the main number, which appears to be in TN. They told me the individual stores set their own prices, and there's nothing they can do about it. So I informed them I'd be leaving bad reviews all over the internet. Then I got a call back (from TN) telling me the owner of the local office would be calling me to "tell me why it is the way it is." With phrasing like that, I can hardly wait.

From start to finish this was a truly professional job. The salesman explained everything and provided all details in writing. Follow up calls were received from Bath Fitter to keep us informed of the progress of the materials. On the day the installer arrived he was right on time and went over the work order to ensure everything was correct and to my satisfaction. Once the install was completed he cleaned up, removed all trash, and went over what he had done, explained the cleaning instructions, and provided all paperwork required. In all a very pleasant experience from start to finish.

Tub was "spongy" underfoot and made popping sounds. Corner was loose. Trim on both outside edges was sloppy, caulk blobs everywhere, not a proper caulk seal around tub, scraps of odd shaped trim used, etc. Scratch in surround, small crack in tub, crack in trim and tub would not drain properly. They came back to replace tub and fix trim on both sides. Left the one side (still a mess), redid the other side - looks worse. He put a strip was put on bottom - no reason for it unless it's hiding something and it is peeling away from tub. And there's more. Installer said this was best he could do. Salesman had promised it would look great and would be trimmed nicely on either side.
Updated 5/18/2016: I left a review on 3/16, with pictures showing completely work. The tub made popping sounds when you stood in it. Crack in tub, scratch in wall, caulking slopped all over, and did not even make a proper seal around tub. They came back, replaced tub. When I clean the tub, I can feel some parts move. All the places that show (trim on both sides all the way down the wall) looks awful. They said they could not do any more. My opinion is that they have materials but not the skill to properly finish. They broke a lamp shade on medicine cabinet that cannot be replaced. They would only give me $300 off the price, which barely covers new medicine cabinet. Careful if you have an older home -- this may not work for you.

We were having trouble getting out of tubs and showers as we're getting older, so we wanted a walk-in. We got the Bath Fitter in Chicago to do a remodel for us and all the interactions we had with their reps were very, very fine. They were absolutely professional and knowledgeable. The same thing with the Bath Fitter we got put in our house in Michigan. The installation team were absolutely very good. It was a good experience all the way through with each step of the way.

Bath Fitter installation was done on time. They came when they said they would. Your workers did the job very neatly, cleaned up everything after they finished. The shower looks great. I would recommend Bath Fitter to anyone think about a bathroom remodel.

Six months ago, I had Bath Fitter remodel my whole bathroom. I've been living in my house for 61 years and I'm elderly so I decided that I had to have the bathroom fixed right. Their sales rep was very pleasant. I called and he came over on a Saturday and we made arrangements. The installers were excellent and unbelievable, too. They came at 8:15 in the morning, left at a quarter to 6:00 and my bathroom was complete. They took out my bathtub and put in a walk-in shower with a seat in it. They also installed a new vanity and a new toilet for me. Also, they cleaned after themselves. It was a remarkable thing and I rave about my experience. My bathroom is lovely and I'm very happy with it. I would recommend Bath Fitter highly.

I was very happy with the whole Bath Fitter experience. All personnel involved were very professional, patient, and completely upfront. The salesman explained everything in great detail, Lisa kept me advised regarding the installation schedule, the installer asked if there were any questions and was diligent in the installation process. I particularly liked that there were no hidden costs. All costs were documented by item description. There was no costing ambiguity. The job was summarized in a specification sheet which included all items including accessories and options. A document was also provided which detailed preparation instructions for the installation.
Upon arrival, the installer completed a job inspection and review report to ensure there was a meeting of the minds for the effort and that all necessary prerequisites had been discussed/covered including placement of items. Upon installation completion, documentation was provided regarding caring for the system. The business end of the effort was handled very well. There were no gimmicks or attempts to gain signature of a contract before the salesman left. It was a pleasure working with Bath Fitter. It's obvious there is tremendous coordination between the Corporate Office, the salesman, the scheduler, and the installer. The company is very well run and has high business standards. The quality of the product is exceptional.

We've had the old bathtub, but we wanted a walk-in shower so we decided to remodel our bathroom and purchase from Bath Fitter last September. It took them a couple of months to get here because there were backlogs, but the installation team was very good. They said they could do it in one day although it took them two days, but that's no big deal because it was a lot of work. Normally, it would have taken a lot longer by anybody else. We like the finished product and we're very satisfied. In fact, I have sent them a card with my neighbor's name on it because he was also interested. But, the only complaint is that Bath Fitter wanted a $27 fee to pay the bill online which is ridiculous.

The outcome of the shower enclosure was exceptional. We were fortunate to deal with our Salesperson, Alan - Detail Technician, Gene - and lastly, our Installer, Nick. All three were very personable and knowledgeable with their line of work. We could have chosen a competitor, with so many out there, however, we felt Bath Fitter has been doing bathroom renovations much longer and were more knowledgeable than the competition. The lifetime warranty also played a part in our decision. Bath Fitter came through and we are proud we were a customer of a top of the line company.

They handled their respective assignments with knowledge and accuracy while maintaining a clean workspace area. Their pleasant, helpful attitude was most welcomed. Each job is different and brings its own distinct challenges. Where they occurred, they were handled quickly and professionally. We would gladly recommend Bath Fitter to our family and friends for their consideration. Again, we are very satisfied, our sincere thanks.

Two months ago, Bath Fitter did the tub, walls in the tub area and the shower door in my rental. They've also worked on other homes for me. The sales rep and I picked everything out and their installers came to put the tub in. I was going away on vacation so just I let them in the house to do the installation and it went well.

My bathroom was getting dirty and old so I did a remodel. It was done by Bath Fitter four months ago. Their reps were good. However, we were not happy when they came to do the shower doors and we never got discounted for it.

My first purchase from Bath Fitter was in 2002. With my second purchase, they're in the process of installing a separate shower stall and doing some work on the bathtub. The sales rep wasn't particularly friendly and knowledgeable, and my experience with him was awkward at best. There might be an organizational lapse there. The installers, someone in the office, the salesperson are not always in line with each other. They need to be a lot more organized and do a lot better job in customer communication because as the customer, I should know what's happening, and what's to be done and when, and there should be no confusion on that/ They may need a project manager or general contractor who keeps everyone in the loop on these matters.
