The salesperson, Janice, was so sweet & personable that we just fell in love with her as a friend. Then we received our shower/shower tub & I'm playing show & tell at our condo building showing off our new showers. LOVE LOVE LOVE.

Bath Fitter's sales rep was wonderful. He showed me lots of pictures and we were talking about many things. He and my husband had some similar likes and it was a good conversation. He was also fine with all my crazy animals running around the house. He was very respectful, funny, friendly and he wasn’t stuffy. Also, I was planning on doing financing, but the salesman said that when he entered my information, it looked like I had an account at one time with Comenity. He said that even though it was closed out, I was a person in good standing with Comenity, so he said they could offer me some kind of financing through that company if I was interested. So, I was able to actually work with Comenity, extend the payment and have a lower interest rate. I didn’t even know it was an option but I was very pleased with that.
The installation was wonderful. One guy came out and he did it all. We kept telling him that he didn’t have to wear the booties and lay down drop cloths because we were gonna get the rugs replaced in less than a week after that. We’re doing renovations in the house, so it was a hot mess and he still laid all the drop cloths down. He also cleaned up well all the mess that he made. He was very nice, professional and good. They took out the old tub surround and installed the bathtub with the brand new wall surround, all new fixtures and the shower curtain rod.

My install of shower was scheduled for 2 days. Bad weather was expected. The installer stated, "I will complete in 1 day to ensure your family can have access." He did an outstanding job. - Nicholas **. A one man team. It looks great.

I needed my bathtub refinished and I heard that Bath Fitter has a good reputation. I was at BJ’s and Bath Fitter had a guy who was standing in a booth and he told me all about them. He did a little model and showed me how it all worked. I liked everything so I went with it. The guy who came to size the tub made sure they got the right stuff when they came, which was easy and painless. Then the guy who came to do the actual work was amazing. He came at 7:00, went to work, didn’t stop for lunch until the service was through, and left around 3:00. I was amazed that he was done so quickly. I was happy with what he has done and it looks exactly the way that I wanted to. It was speedy and I could tell they’ve done this many times. They made everything look easy. The price wasn’t bad either.

We could not be more pleased with our Bath Fitter experience. We had our old bathtub, surround, and fixtures replaced with shiny new ones! Tony was great, he showed up on time and worked tirelessly to complete the job in one day which completely exceeded our expectations. Now every time anyone in our house takes a shower we cannot believe how nice and relaxing the experience is. One of the best parts about the whole experience was how kind, considerate, clean, and accommodating Tony ** was throughout the day.
When he left you would have never known that the whole bathroom was a construction zone earlier that day, and he even put down protectors for our carpet while he was working. The one and only downside was the high-pressure sale experience, as the salesman demanded that we make our decision the same day that they came out to give us a quote or the price would go up. In the end though we would recommend that any friends or family looking to upgrade their bath go through Bath Fitter despite this inconvenience.

I talked to a Bath Fitter representative at an event that I worked and he was nice. Also, I liked the product and the sales person that came out. We had two bathrooms done and the latest one was just a month ago, and we were very pleased with the installer and his work.

I had Bath Fitter install our shower surround last fall. The sales rep answered all my questions. The installation guy was very knowledgeable and personable, and he was able to get things taken care of in short order. It was a very positive experience overall.

The people are either incompetent or inept or both. One Year Ago - I paid a $1000 for a shower door to enhance the look of the bathroom. It has leaked water onto the bathroom floor since it was installed. They have been out 3 times to fix the situation and each time it has gotten worse. The second "installer" placed a "water dam" in backwards that funneled water under the door and onto the bathroom floor. A manager came out before the last installer. Whoopee!!!
The third "installer" removed the rubber seal on the bottom of the door and placed a "water dam" on the outside of the door that allows water to splash under the door and onto the floor. An "installer" was supposed to come April 19th between 8-9 but didn't. Didn't bother to call. The office didn't bother to call. I called them which seems to be the case every time. Assured me he would be out after he finished a job in Leesburg, that afternoon. Bath Fitter never showed, never called. April 20th the office "Amy" did NOT call to re-schedule or explain why I waited all day for a guy who never showed. I called and had to leave a message and I said they had NO CUSTOMER SERVICE, no follow-up and quite frankly no business running a business.

After emptying buckets of water out of our basement for almost five years I've finally decided to share our Bath Fitter experience. Bath Fitter installed a stand-up shower, tub, and surround in our existing shower about 5 years ago. I accepted paying the relatively high cost to have our shower replaced by Bath Fitter because I sincerely believed that I would have several years of worry-free usage. My first doubts occurred when I stepped into the shower stall. What had been a firm, solid floor in the shower for nearly 50 years was replaced with a substandard shower tub that buckled with every step. When I viewed the floor/drain underneath from the basement with my child moving in the shower, the drain pipes moved excessively. The feeling the tub provided during use was as if I was showering in a cheap travel trailer from the nineteen-seventies.
I have since had Bath Fitter out three times to address the water leaking into the basement... most recently within the past 4-5 months. The technician stated that the original installer had not added silicone to the shower door mounting points. After the service call, we waited three days to use the shower to assure the silicone had proper time to cure. When we started using again, the water continued to leak... so much water in fact that we have replaced the bucket with a 20 gallon plastic tote in the basement under the leak. We are now able to take several showers before the need to empty the container. I was willing to pay the additional money to what I thought was a quality product. Unfortunately, we are already looking to replace the unit as my wife is afraid of falling through the floor. I just need to do whatever it takes to stop the leaking and to have a dry basement again.

The Installer arrived on time on the day of the install. He was very friendly, very professional, and completed a very professional install. He even cleaned up afterward and left the bathroom the way he found it... I'm very pleased, and will definitely recommend them to others!!!

My mother is a senior in her 80's. We decided it was time to install a tubless shower at her house for her safety. She only has the one bath. We signed and paid a deposit the day they came to measure. They arrived a few weeks later to install. The tub was removed and when they tried to install the new shower, it didn't fit, they measured incorrectly. They ordered another shower and called one week later to say it was back ordered, we may have to wait another two possible three weeks. It has been one hour since they called to advise us and I have yet to hear from management, the secretary is the only one I've spoken with, management has never even called to apologize for the inconvenience. She has been without a means to shower for 12 days. We regret this decision more than anyone can imagine, I recommended this due to the fact of the one day install.

We used Bath Fitter about four years ago, and got them to do another bathroom last February. They came out, described what they do and showed us what options we have and then we chose. And then they came back, took measurements and waited for the product to be manufactured. Then they came out again and installed the tub. The cost seems high. But with a lifetime warranty, it's reasonable. They were very good and professional. I would recommend it.

I had Bath Fitter redo the tub, the surround, and the sliding doors. I could do it myself but I was gonna have to buy a fiberglass two piece unit. And the time involved and the lack of having another bathroom was the biggest concern. We went with Bath Fitter because of the quick turnaround. We had a person come out and then there was another guy who came out and did measurements. They had to wait as they were ordering materials and had to have everything before they came to do the remodel. It took them about 2 months, but we knew it all upfront and there was no problem. We ordered the sliding door and that was extending the wait.
Then their installer was here for about 12 hours. He really had the process down. I used to do remodeling and carpentry work and I knew how we did things. But I wanted to see how it was that one could possibly do the remodel in that amount of time. He showed me and wasn't trying to hide anything. I could see everything he was doing and he did everything right. He did a couple thousand installations over the time he was at Bath Fitter and to me, that was amazing. He was really knowledgeable and really courteous. He started out with rolling a tarp down the hallway, up the steps, and into the bathroom. And right before he left out the door, he rolled the tarp back down. Everything was cleaned up when he left.
We were very pleased with the work that Bath Fitter did. The tub is holding up well and it does not get a soap scum. I don't even have to touch it. It stays clean and I just rinse it down. We were also impressed with the salesman and overall, with everyone from Bath Fitter through the whole process. Everyone seemed to be loyal to the company. They like working where they worked, what they did, and they took pride in their work. They would call us every so often, kept us updated, and let us know anything that we needed to know. They all did a really good job. My wife's uncle was in the salesman's book and we called and talked to him. When he said that it was some of the best money he ever spent, we knew that we were making a good decision knowing that he's really frugal.
The price was the worst part of the whole deal though. You get what you pay for but at the same time, there's definitely a premium involved. But Bath Fitter has a lifetime warranty. What everyone seems to stress so much is that if we have any trouble with anything, we can give them a call and they'll fix the issue. I've been told by someone I work with who went with Bath Fitter that sometimes the caulking may get discolored in a year or two. But Bath Fitter will come back and re-caulk everything. The installer also gave me an example of an elderly man who lost his balance and fell on to the doors three different times. They went and replaced his doors for him and then they covered everything. So it was nice to know that they were covering. It wasn't cheap but I was gonna have a quality job and they were gonna cover everything from there on out. So I don't have to worry about it.
The process was slightly lengthy until it was actually started, but that was because they made sure they had everything perfect before they came. And they were real thorough. They would even call and say, "Okay, we have everything ordered now, just to double check with you." And they did catch one thing because we ordered frosted glass instead of the clear one. There was a mistake there between my wife and I. They double checked that then they made sure they ordered the right thing. Everything was also so precise. They double and triple checked their measurements. It was a very satisfying experience overall and I would recommend Bath Fitter to anyone.

We had an estimate from Bath Fitter about six years ago and purchased a tub and walls two or three months ago. We also got a shelf and a towel bar as finishing touches. The sales rep was fine and we didn't have any concerns. Also, the installer did a very good job and was very clean. They took care of business and explained everything. Everything went well and it's been good so far. It was a pleasant and knowledgeable experience.

11 weeks to get 3 walls replaced. May 5th will be the next available time because they are busy. What about people that have bought and paid for the product, very bad experience. This is the 3rd time it has to be repaired.

Bath Fitter fit the needs I had with needing an old tub covered. They were prompt when I first contacted them over the internet. They were prompt with a reply and prompt in everything else. The sales representative was terrific. He was my kind of guy. He understood where I was coming from and was just a good 'ol boy. I appreciated that the detailer was curt and to the point. The installer was very efficient and made sure that I was comfortable with everything. He cleaned up, which was unusual for a man. I just would suggest Bath Fitter to everyone and have suggested it to other folks that are contemplating possibly.

All aspects of the job were done professionally. The sales people were great to talk to, installers knew their jobs, and all phone chats were done right. The things that impressed the most were the neatness of the technicians, the knowledge of our salesman, and the visit to the Philadelphia convention center for the sales display. What started out as a nightmare quickly was resolved better than we could have ever expected. We could not be happier with our bathroom remodel and the bath chair we now have will serve us for many years, even if my father or husband were to go in a wheelchair which is a high possibility.

My parents recently had Bath Fitter come and do an estimate for putting a one piece shower insert in with a fold down chair for my husband and my father who are both disabled. The first estimate was way over their budget so they were not interested. Then a week later they got a call from a manager saying he could get the price way down for them. He came out and quoted them a price over $2000 cheaper than the first. My parents and I verified multiple times that the fold down chair would still be installed as this was the most important part for them. We were reassured again when the second person came out before the install to get the measurements. They asked again to verify that the seat would be installed and the weight limits on the seat since both my dad and my husband are larger guys. They were once again reassured the seat they were installing would be appropriate for our needs.
Fast forward a couple of weeks to the install today. The technician was amazing. He showed up on time and everything was going smoothly until he asks where we want our rail placed. Upon entering the bathroom I see immediately there is no seat. When I asked the technician why the seat wasn't installed he says it was not on his contract he has. I get our contract and look and sure enough it is not checked on our contract either. Let me start off by saying my parents are far too trusting and never looked over the details because the manager was going over everything with them supposedly in detail so they took him at his word. I was beside them the entire time he was over and heard him repeatedly reassure the seat was included because honestly that was all we needed.
When I called the manager today during the install he did not seem surprised nor did he even apologize. Instead he said if we looked at our contract we would see it was not included on there. I didn't have to give him any dates or even our address for him to immediately know who we were. He then told me they could install the seat if we paid another $800 for it. Him and his boss have both refused to make this right and have not apologized a single time. They took advantage of my parents and gave us nothing but a huge bill. They finally got in touch with my mother later this evening and have decided they would give my parents 10% off of the seat. My mother finally agreed because we have to have the seat for the safety of my father and husband who have both been warned even a minor fall could paralyze them. I would not recommend bath fitter to anyone, the managers are a bunch of crooks who look for anyone they can take advantage of.

Bath Fitter did a job for me about almost 10 years ago and I was satisfied with that. That’s why I used them this time and purchased a stall shower. I’m a little bit handicapped so what they did helped me out a lot. I put a fold-up chair in there so it worked out well. And then the sales rep was very thorough and answered all the questions. He was friendly but not pushy so I liked that. It’s expensive but Bath Fitter does a good job and I liked everything about my experience with them.

I was at an outdoor show in Bloomsburg where there was a display for Bath Fitter. I talked to the gentleman there and he was quite knowledgeable. I opted for an agent to come out and things went from there. I had a shower installed and the installer was personable, he explained things and cleaned up after himself. It was a nice experience. The shower is pricey but other than that, they did a nice job. The product is good and it's warranted and guaranteed.

We wanted to get a really good quality vinyl shower stall and we had looked at some of the things from Home Depot and some of the home remodeling places. The quality of the presentation we got from Bath Fitter's representative seemed really good. The sales rep was very friendly, professional and answered all of our questions. The price was real sticker shock. It was very expensive but they offered a discount as we signed up that day. We asked for some references and they gave us some. We called somebody while the guy was there but we decided to take it on trust and went with them. I had left them the opening and we had plumbing done, so it was ready to go. They came in, measured it and did the backer board. They did the installation for a day and a half. It turned out to be a very professional and good experience.

I had a good experience with Bath Fitter. I did a search on the work they’ve been doing and they have a lifetime warranty, that’s why I had them for a remodel. It was my first Bath Fitter remodel and I purchase the white tub with one shelf. Their installation team was also great. They changed all the plumbing in the back. Also, when the installer came in, he took out all of the debris with nothing left to get out.

We had a great installer. The job was excellent and beautiful. This was our second bathroom done by Bath Fitters. Very happy with the results. The original person who came and gave us the estimate was very thorough. We had no questions that were not answered completely.

Bath Fitter renovated our bathroom some 14 years ago. Recently we had the bathroom walls and floors redone with ceramic tile. The Bath Fitter trim strips needed to be redone to align with the new tile. They came out and replaced the trim strips to look as if it were the original installation. Outstanding workmanship by the installer Geoff and excellent company service. To top it off there was no charge! We highly recommend Bath Fitter for your bathroom renovation needs. BTW, the renovation looks as good as new some 14 years later.

The repair person arrived by 5:20 p.m. - the latest time promised and made repairs efficiently and politely. The new shower head holder hopefully is a stronger plastic, and he replaced the old shower hose for something much more flexible. It took a long time getting someone here, but the job was well done.

Shower and tub enclosures installed March 2013 - 1 day took 2 or 3 but job was satisfactory and installer pleasant and effective. The units were effective for a senior in his late 70's. Hose bracket for shower broke (plastic?) about 2 years ago and again this January (2017) along with plastic molding falling off the corner of shower. Calls for replacement made in January, again in February and again in March. Promised to come April 5 in the afternoon after at least 10 calls and messages left. It is now after 5 p.m. and after another call I am told an assistant will leave the office and be here by 5 or 5:30 p.m., not the original installer. We have an appointment shortly after 6 p.m. at our son's school. Originally was told to let the hose dangle and not in bracket so that it would lose its tendency to coil or was it knowledge of the deficiency of the bracket? Warranty may be lifetime, but my life feels like it has been shortened by this.

I bought a house a few years back which had a tub in the main bathroom in the hallway. The previous owner painted that tub and the surroundings was still the original 1970's style. It worked when I bought the place but then the paint wasn't done properly so it started chipping away and is now looking like crap. So, instead of doing a whole tear out like what I did to a couple of rooms, I got Bath Fitter to see what they could do for me. Their sales guy was good and very helpful. I ended up getting a few of the upgrades because I didn't want to do plain Jane. I waited 10 weeks until the installer came in and had it done. They did a great job and they were nice.
They gave me a brochure on what to do in cleaning the tub like getting the proper cleaning products, but I have a couple of concerns. One is you don't take a shower and then clean it, because after showering, you get out. Number two is that the tub and the surroundings are acrylic. When you put a soft scrub and you didn't rinse it thoroughly, that's going to discolor the unit. I want to double check this because I got a cleaning service over there and I don't want to ruin the warranty because that's going to be the worst thing that could happen. But, those installers are topnotch. They're quality, experienced guys and they know what they're doing. The tub is not cheap but it looks nice. I call it my Taj Mahal bathroom now.

I was at a craft show and Bath Fitter had a booth there. Since they were the only one I knew of, I went with them for my remodeling project. They completely replaced the standup shower and a separate one they did was to put a cover on the new bathtub. The remodel was done in January and they did a very nice job. I would recommend them.

They were very professional from the start of working with the salesman who helped us determine exactly what service we needed and could afford. The installer was awesome as well. He got to our house on time and quickly performed his job. It was fast and he cleaned up after himself when it was finished. Bath Fitter did 2 projects for us, a shower replacement and a tub replacement. One was done on Monday and Tuesday, and the other one was done on Thursday and Friday. We had some conflicts with the sales guy as far as trying to find a good date, but it went well after that. They did a really good job explaining the product in detail. The installer was very professional, exceptional, very likable guy, explained everything, made sure he had everything covered in all areas getting to the bathroom and made sure that we were kept up-to-date on any updates that he had. It's been finished a little over a month ago and it's been fine and very good quality.

I had a catastrophe at my house when I went away. My hot water tank burst and I ended with mold all throughout the house. My tiles were good but my bathroom needed some help. So when I saw Bath Fitter in the mall, wherein they had a booth there, I talked to a nice lady and I told her to send somebody out and she did. They had to take all the tile that I had in the bathroom out and I was freaking out about that. I thought it was a temporary thing so I misunderstood and then down the road, I get my whole bathroom redone.
We then talked about the installation, we already wanted to sign the paper because it was taking longer and got a bit ugly for a second. However, the results were very good and I've been pleased ever since. When he was finished, I was amazed. It looks exactly like when it was finished originally when I got it in 2003. I was really impressed with that. It was easy to clean and it didn’t get a ring. I used a lot of different essential oils, food color, and waxes, but there’s no damage to it or anything. It still holds and the water stays warmer a lot longer, and the tub is a lot deeper.
When I got my shower done, the installer had to tear out everything again, and put in a new floor and a wall. The first installers didn’t do a good job and so we had molds. But, the guy who did the recent install was really nice. He was so quiet and he worked so hard and got it done in two days. Everything has been good so far except for the faucets that went wrong, but they were replaced. I was calling them because I really wanted to know what I could do to fix my problem. And they said, “No problem. We’ll send somebody out.” He came out and gave me all new things and he said, “If anything happens with anything, you’ve got a lifetime warranty. We will always come back and fix it.” On the whole, I am very happy with Bath Fitter’s work and it was beautiful. I would recommend them.

First I would say the installer did a good job with what he had to work with. The tub and shower surround was replaced. The salesman apparently measured the tub 2 inches less than was needed. The installer showed me I needed a 34in. tub, not a 32in one. He called the office to see if they could get one out. They told him they don't make one in that size. He had to build the back wall out so the wrong tub would fit. I have tongue and groove on the walls that the old tub had a lip on it then screwed to the studs. The walls were built out so they could glue their cheap walls to them.
When completed it looks like a cheap plastic tub glued to the wall. They are way overpriced. It cost over $4600.00 for the job and I had to remove and dispose of the old tub to keep the cost down. I replaced the shower stall in an upstairs bathroom myself with a very nice unit from Lowe's that had the proper lip on it so I could screw it to the studs and reinstall the tongue and groove. It was less than $1000.00 and it looks so much better. Don't waste your money with Bath Fitter!

I just had my bathroom re-done by Bath Fitters. They did a great job. Everyone I had contact with, from the lady who answered my initial call, to Lou the sales rep, to Wally the plumber, and the two assistant plumbers who did most of the work, Dali and Wally the assistant plumber, were friendly and thoroughly professional. The first day, one person installed the bathtub. The second day, two workers were able to put wainscoting on the other three walls. Obviously, these two were well-trained, had the right equipment, and took pride in their work. I am absolutely satisfied.

I had someone come out and give me an estimate on a new tub. I knew the estimate was kind of high but was ok with it due to the convenience. A few days later the salesperson came back to my home uninvited and I was watching my 12 month old child. Keep in mind I work two jobs, have a pregnant wife and a small child to support currently. I signed the document quickly as he said it was just a minor addition to the job. The next day I looked at the change order and it basically explained that they would have to break my ceramic shelf (1 of 2) and replace it with a smaller plastic shelf with some type of sheathing to hide the damage to the underlying tile. I called the sales rep the next day and cancelled the job.
I waited a few months and never received a credit so I called back. I eventually got the owner on the phone who said I am out of luck and they were keeping my $425 deposit. Meanwhile I did not place nor knew of any deposit. The contract does not specify the deposit amount and I paid for the entire job initially. In my opinion it is really pathetic to pay $1700 to have a cover put on your tub then when the company realizes that they cannot do the job as specified they try to get you to cancel so that they can take the deposit. No person in their right mind would allow someone to come in and damage their bathroom and charge them $1700 for it.
Furthermore, I called right after getting the change order and the owner would not honor the 3 day cancellation policy because it was not 3 days from when I originally purchased the service but it was 3 days from when I received new information about what the job entailed. Finally, who would want a 6 inch plastic wall shelf with patches behind it to cover the damage and a 9 inch ceramic wall shelf mixed. Absolutely no one would agree to that. The contract also states that deposit only applies to custom items and I specifically asked the salesperson something to the extent that how could I know that this tub would fit exactly over mine and he responded that this was a stock tub.

I'd seen Bath Fitter's TV commercial. It was my first Bath Fitter remodel and I made the purchase in February. It was straightforward and the options were laid out. It was pretty. Our work was to have our old tub/shower removed and replaced with a walk-in shower, so this was a little more involved than a simple tub replacement. Overall, everything went smoothly. The people (salesman, inspector, installer) were nice and professional. All our questions were answered at every step of the way. The only thing that I wish was that more communication was done between the inspection and scheduling the installation. We were getting worried that we had been forgotten. The only glitch was that after first day (demolition and base installation), the walls/back had a problem that required my installer to have the part replaced. This caused a 1 day delay. Overall, we are very happy with the result, though.

I had a very old tub which was not regulation size, so it couldn't be easily taken out. I got Bath Fitter to fit a tub and they accommodated special measurements. My interactions with the sales representative were fine. The installation team said they'd have it done in a day and they did and stayed until it was done. It was cleaned up and well installed and I was very happy with it.

A gentleman had a Bath Fitter display inside our local mall. I happened to see it, I stopped and talked to him, and I was told it can be done in less than two days. The sales guy at the mall was real nice. He explained everything, gave me a little paperwork on the product, said someone would call me to schedule an appointment, and they did. A district guy came over and met with us, did all the measurements, did us the whole sales pitch, and prepared us for the sticker shock. We got a standup shower with no tub and it was installed in January. My husband was home with the installer for the two days because it happened to be his two days off. I also interacted with him and he was a real nice guy, seemed very knowledgeable, and showed me what he was doing. We left him alone and wasn't there to bug him and he did a good job.
Bath Fitter did what they said they would do, which was important to me. I could have gotten local contractors but I was scared to death to do that because contractors say it's gonna take two days and then take a week or two and I have nothing but problems and be without a shower. It was worth paying the additional money and knowing the job was gonna get done. I did a lot of research online and went to different websites and I looked into the pros and cons of the Bath Fitter company. The only thing that was any negativity was the price, but I decided on what's more important to me. The experience was great all the way around. I didn't have a single issue with anybody I dealt with and the customer service team was awesome, too. They called every couple of weeks, gave me an update on what's being made and what they're waiting on, and kept me informed. That was very nice and everything was right on schedule.

When I called for a representative from Bath Fitter to come and give me adjustments one of the major factors for my decision to go with them is lifetime warranty. They have great warranty. It's still expensive for my blood, but lifetime warranty makes me feel comfortable. Moreover, the representative was a very friendly, and a very explanatory person. I heard that Bath Fitter was guaranteeing their presentation after I invited them to my home, so two months ago I had them redo the bathroom walls, from the tub all the way to the ceiling. I ran into Bath Fitter and I didn't think I was going to be interested in them because I didn't think that I wanted a liner over my tub. But we thought we'd at least see what they have to say. Once I had a salesman come to the house and told us that’s not what they would be doing and told me exactly what they would be doing which was to put a whole new tub in, we decided we’re going to do it. I was extremely pleased with the salesman who's probably one of the most knowledgeable salespersons I've ever dealt with. I was also extremely pleased with the installer who did everything exactly like the salesman said he would. If he could have done our whole bathroom, I would have gladly hired him to do it the whole nine yards because he was outstanding. It was a positive experience with Bath Fitter and we’re pleased with everything.

The initial encounter with Bath Fitter was very good. I got to meet the gentleman that came out and it was a very nice experience. The guy that came and installed it was very good as well. However, it's been close to a month and there is a small leak in the bathroom underneath the third floor bathroom. Overall I would recommend Bath Fitter but I'm not satisfied with the leak.

Both of my daughters had used Bath Fitter, and they are very pleased. I saw what they did with our daughters' places and went on with their recommendation. In fact, one of them was supposed to get a perk because she referred me. We then purchased the tub with the shower. We could either use it for the tub or a shower. Also, I did the enclosure and they put in a safety bar and a shower curtain bar. It's a small area that it can't even take a full-length shower bar, but it serves the purpose. They finished it a couple of weeks ago.
I had just one situation with the water pressure coming out of the showerhead. The water is not strong enough for the shower and to coin the men’s phrase, I could pee better than the water coming out of the showerhead. We're having stuff done in the house and we're not able to use the second-floor bathroom. My husband said, "I'm gonna try the third floor." The thing is, there is a water saver on these heads, and the guy who installed it didn't take it off. We're not supposed to but all the plumbers around here do it because the pressure is so bad. So, my husband said, "What do you think we should do?" I said, "Well, we'll see what happens and then you call." Other than that, I love the bathtub. I love everything about it. It was a neat job. Also, the sales reps and install team were great. The install team were on time and they were there all day. Our experience has all been positive.

I had a cousin that used Bath Fitter years ago and it always stayed in my mind because of how beautiful her bathroom worked when it was done. So, when my mother needed work and she didn't want her upstairs torn up for weeks, I thought of Bath Fitter and it was a great experience. Everybody at Bath Fitter, from beginning to end was amazing and the bathroom looks fantastic.
We had two men come the very first night. They explained everything and didn't leave anything out. They weren't pushy, showed my mother all kinds of different options that she could choose from and they were very patient with her. From then on, we had a man come out. He had to come twice to measure the tub because it was an odd-fitting tub. They didn't rush to order anything. They had to make sure that what they were going to order would fit. On the day of the installation, the man came and he got to work he was done by the middle of the afternoon. He cleaned up after himself. My mother didn't have to do anything. Then the next day, the young salesman had come over to check out the work and asked us what we thought about it. I would recommend Bath Fitter to anybody because it was a wonderful experience and they had very nice, helpful and patient people.

My wife was in an accident, had triple compound fractures on her tibia and fibula on her left side, and a broken left shoulder. We could no longer stay with the normal tub situation that we had. It just wasn't going to work for us anymore. We needed something done fairly quickly. She wasn't recovering the way we had with the bone settlement, and Bath Fitter was fast. They came out and the salesman was thorough. He addressed our concerns, we were given a date, and the date was good for us. They gave us a number and it was cheaper than my private contractor, so that's what we did.
We bought a shower and the reps that worked with us were good. The first guy that came hurt his back and had to call somebody in to help him out, but he kept trying to work even when he was hurt. He had another guy there the next day and they were done on time, so it worked out for us. It's only been a month, but we like the product. It makes my wife feel safer. I would recommend Bath Fitter.

We love our Bath Fitter bathroom. It's been two years and it's still spotless. We got the shower surround over the tub, but we didn't replace the tub. The installation probably took most of the morning, but it seemed short and it didn't bother us at all. The walls were done, including all the plumbing. The sales rep was wonderful and very helpful. He gave us great advice. We had some other problems in the other bathroom and he said we didn't need a new redo, just fix the part. Once we get our floor redone, they said they’d come back and they would re-seal where the floor is added.

We had seen the display that Bath Fitter had at the home and garden show over at Martinsburg Mall, as well as the Apple Blossom Mall of Winchester, and when we had a crack at the bottom of the tub and shower unit that was the original in the house, we gave them a call and went from there. The salesman that initially came to the house happened to be the manager of the store. He was very personable and we got along great. He did the initial measurements and discussed at length with my wife and me. A person came back a bit later to do the final measurements.
We had them bring in a tub unit with walls that went all the way up to the ceiling, put a shower, a new shower arm, a shower head and a bow front shower rod. It took four to six weeks for them to get the unit in, and then they put it in the following week. One of the guys said he would come and get it in one day, because they had to tear the old unit out completely. He said the installation would be done in four and a half hours or so, and it was, so we were very happy with it. Everything worked like clockwork. My wife got home and was pleased with the job. It was great from start to finish. The people I dealt with were knowledgeable, easy to get along with, and they fit the time schedule. I can't ask more than that.

I would recommend this product with a couple of caveats. After installation, we were told that you cannot use baking soda or Epsom salt's because it will harm the finish. As this is going to be the only tub in our house I would've taken that under consideration.

Bath Fitter seemed to have all the features in the time frame that we were interested in. It was very much needed and just decided to go with it at the time it was offered. Also, we heard good reports about them so we had a tub to shower conversion with them and it was our first Bath Fitter remodel. The sales rep arrived in a timely manner and he informed us that the other guy would be here to go and check the measurements. Many years ago, I hired Bath Fitter to do over the whole bathroom I got and I was satisfied with that result. So, when it came time to do my 48-year old stall shower with tiny tiles all over the floor, I decided to have them come and do that. They redid the stall shower and then I had the additional safety bar put in for me to hold onto. I also got a seat that can be brought down because I'm quite aged now. The sales rep was very charming and he had a very nice visit.
Also, the installer was terrific. He was very competent and pleasant throughout the whole thing. On the second day he was supposed to install here, but he arrived in a snow storm. I advised him that there's no parking lot on the street in this town with the snow on the streets, so he had to leave. He called in to the company and made no fuss about the whole thing; just absolutely calm, steady and very professional. He came back the next day and worked all day long, as bright and cheery as he was when he arrived in the morning. I was very happy with the whole experience and I would highly recommend Bath Fitter.

I have very limited mobility, so I wanted to get my bathtub removed and just a shower installed. Bath Fitter installed the bath-to-shower product in my home, and it has a shower seat inside. The gentlemen that came here before it was installed were extremely nice. My husband praised the gentleman that came here to do the installation. He really liked him. Everything about was really good. And I'm thinking about contacting Bath Fitter to get another handrail installed in the shower and additional place for shampoo.

Bath Fitter was FANTASTIC to us from contacting Customer Service, to Field (Sales) Rep. Jim **, to Installation Supervisor Lou to Installer Greg. We loved the acrylic product when we saw it. The seamless design, 100% warranty as long as we own the home. Were buying factors for us. The peace of mind for me with my wife's medical problems that she would not fall in the tub was another major factor for me.
Plus the installer Greg is a true craftsman. Bath Fitter should be very proud to have him on their team. This was a two day project. Greg informed us every step of the way what he was doing or going to do discussed with us if we had preference where to install the handicap rails, the height of the shower head. ie. If, you want a job accomplished in your home you want to be proud of, hire Bath Fitter. When the building inspector came out from our town to inspect the job. His comment to me was they (Bath Fitter) did an excellent job for you. My comment was I know they did. We cannot Thank Everyone at Bath Fitter enough. Your company is truly awesome.

After the salesperson came in and explained everything, Bath Fitter seemed to be what we were looking for as far as quick installation and we weren't going to be disrupted for a long period of time, so we purchased from them in January this year. We got the shower install and door. In addition, we got the shelf, the corner piece. The sales rep was very good and we really liked him. He was very thorough and we were happy with that. It was a good experience with him. The installer was very good, too. He was very clean and really respected our house, and these are traits I like to see. He put down a lot of things on the floors so he wouldn't make tracks all over. He was very quick and thorough, and explained everything to me. He did a great job. On the whole, we had a very good experience with Bath Fitter.

I was just wiping down my shower surround and after 2 years I am so damn happy with it I thought I should tell others, especially women!! I have the prettiest shower, it's big and replaced an old dirty tub when we bought this house. I NEVER have to scrub this shower. It's as clean as the day I got it. I wipe it down every couple of weeks and lightly brush the bottom even though it's not dirty and it shines all the time. The person who installed it was so professional and it took one day. My husband thought I shouldn't pay that much but "you get what you pay for" and I never have to scrub. It will increase the value of my home for sure. I am 100% satisfied and you should do it!! My wife wanted the bathroom redone and cover up the pallet wall. So we got the wall liner and Bath Fitter did a very nice job. The sales representative was the son of a friend of mine, and we had a good interaction because we knew a lot of people. The guy that did the job was very nice. My husband saw Bath Fitter on the internet and their rep came up and explained to us in a way that he had what we wanted. He was very nice and explained everything to us and showed us the different type of showers that he had. He did an excellent job for us. So, we purchased the shower and the shelves in December and got it finished a little bit after Christmas. The guy of the installation team took everything out and cleaned up the bathroom itself. I was trying to figure out what I was going do with my bathroom because it was a mess. When I saw Bath fitter in the mall, I gave it a shot. Remodeling companies don't exactly have the greatest reputation but Bath Fitter seemed to be on the up and up. Their rep came down and checked it out. He explained everything to us in great detail and was very personable. He told us that if we signed that day, we would get 10% off and we only had one try at it, but he didn't push the hell out of it which was good. The technician that came in to install the tub and the shower unit was very prompt and polite. In addition, I was very impressed that the first thing that he did before he did anything else was put runners down over out carpets so he wouldn't track anything in. He took care of everything and did a great job. I was very pleased with the end product and also, everybody who's seen it has been very pleased with it. I've had a great experience and it's worth it.

Getting a whole new bathroom was a little too out of our price range. We saw an advertisement for a special that Bath Fitter had and ended up getting a tub and walls from them. We ordered around December and they came on January 17th to put it in. The installation team did it in less than the time they said it would be done and they were very neat. From the very beginning when the salesman came by to talk to our mom about Bath Fitter and what it all entailed up to the day of installation with Adam, everything was done exactly how it was explained. Adam was very professional, friendly and worked very hard. He was neat and courteous. We had no cleanup after he was done. The end results are fabulous! The man who came to measure had to come twice as mom’s tub was in between sizes. He took his time the both times he had to come out.
The girl who called to confirm appointments and keep us updated was very helpful and courteous. Sam ** who was in training the night they originally came out, called the day after installation to check on things. He was absolutely fabulous throughout the whole process. I highly recommend these guys and Bath Fitter to all my family and friends. You knocked it right out of the park on this one guys!!

We wanted a company that was going to make sure everything around the bathroom was going to be waterproofed. Most of the companies that I had talked to prior told me they have to do the whole thing, and I wasn’t interested in having that done. We had Bath Fitter come out to give us an estimate. When we talked to the guy and heard everything he had to say, it made us think that they are who we wanted to do our bathroom. He seemed to be quite upfront with us with everything and wasn’t pushy. I was real happy with what he had to say as far as what they were going to do and how they would guarantee it.
We purchased the bathtub cover and then the surround around our tub and with the shower. During installation, every once in a while I'd pop my head in and see how things were going and asked the installer about different things, and he was real nice about it. I'm glad the way things were done and I'm happy with the work. I'd recommend Bath Fitter to anybody. My wife's the main one who uses the shower and tub, and she loves it. She tells everybody, “Oh, you got to see my bathroom.” And we're real proud of it.

We were very pleased with the presentation of the gentleman from Bath Fitter and it seemed like a quality company, so we said yes. We got a walk-in shower and the guy that installed it was really good and you could tell he knew his stuff. It took him about seven hours. The shower was very nice and everything went so smoothly. I was 100% satisfied, they exceeded my expectations. One company that quoted never presented information on the product they were selling, and the other did nothing but put down the other companies. Bath Fitter, Debi, was completely professional. She showed and told me about everything, and then completed the quote. Upon acceptance, the office staff and the installer, Tyson, were the same. Completely professional. They took care of my every need through the process, and even came back to touch up some things that I messed up. We hired an independent contractor, a local guy, to update our bathtub surround a few years ago, and the tub fell apart so quickly. In the end, it was even worse and I had already pulled all kinds of money into it. I knew Bath Fitter had a great reputation and I did a lot of research on it. It's expensive but I thought, “It'll be done and I don’t wanna have to worry about it” so I went back there.
My experience with Bath Fitter wasn't a whole lot of high pressure to deal with. When the salesman came over, he gave me the cost and everything was upfront. There were no hidden costs and no surprises. The installation guy was nice. I liked that he put a cloth down on the floor leading upstairs and into the bathroom so that he wasn't walking around on our carpets in muddy boots. So he was very respectful of us and our house. He did a tremendous job and left everything very clean. The independent contractor we hired a couple of years prior left mud in the house, but Bath Fitter didn't do that. We're very happy with the work that they did, so overall it was an excellent experience. Bath Fitter is a company that I would recommend.

The estimator was very knowledgeable. He arrived on time and was most professional. The installer was very experienced. He worked out all day with no miscues. Some of the old tile grout fell through the drain cut-out in the floor under the old tub. We found the bits of debris after he left and swept it up, no big deal. The odor from the glue used to adhere the tub and surround is extremely pungent. The smell persisted for several days later and was not noticeable about 4 days later. The finished tub and surround are beautiful and solid. The valve and showerhead are works of art. We are quite pleased with this installation.

I stopped at a Bath Fitter kiosk in a show and left my name. A very nice salesman followed up and he had some lady that was nice to me and went over the details of the installation. I was pleased with their performance. The installation team has been very professional. They've called me several times and then they've had men here to double-check the measurements. They did it in a professional manner. I think it's a little expensive but that goes with the territory.
Bath Fitter is very compatible with my way of life. I love it and I have no problems with it. It's nice and easy to keep clean, no seams, and I like the shower heads. However, the handlebars inside the shower should be gnarled instead of smooth, so you can grip them. When they get soapy, and mine are smooth, my hand slips on it. I've seen bars that are gnarled and have little crusts to it, and you can hang on. I would recommend that their top people should incorporate it in their installation. Overall, I'd recommend Bath Fitter to anybody and I have no qualms at all about it.

We purchased a shower from Bath Fitter. The salesman was pleasant and informative. We also had very good interaction with the installers. However, I was a little disappointed with the financing end of it. Just when I went to pay it off with a credit card, I called the finance company and I was informed I couldn’t do it that way and that it was too late. Also, when the finance company sent the papers out, they sent it to the wrong address, so it sat and got delayed somewhere for a couple of weeks and I had to pay finance charges because of that even if it wasn't my fault. But apart from that, my experience with Bath Fitter was very good.

The tub & shower was a top-notch product and installation was highly professional. The installer had 11 years experience and worked very hard. He explained each step of the installation and he answered all of my questions and was able to get the installation completed in one day. The installation looks great and I am sure it will last for years and years. We are very happy with the purchase.

I was tired of dealing with vendors who just don’t do a good job that stays forever. I had some work done in the bathroom before and a month later, the toilet paper holder was falling out of the wall. I wanted to avoid stuff like that and I feel like with Bath Fitter, I could have some recourse. However, I'm a little disappointed in a few things. They could've done a better job with the way they went around my radiator. The salesman also told me that I was gonna have a shower head that could come off, and the guy who installed said they stopped doing that a while ago. I called them one time and they never called me back. Plus the molding looks cheap and it doesn’t look right. I have a kitchen that needs some work and I know that they would do it, but for the quality and what they did around my radiator, it was not cool. Because of that, I probably will not call Bath Fitter anymore unless I have a problem. It's too expensive for what I'm getting. I would never recommend them.

About 5 years ago we contacted Bath Fitter to remove our tub and install a walk in shower. The workers did a very good job and we were pleased with the installation. However it is now time that we need someone to contact us for help in replacing the gaskets for the sliding glass door. This has proven to be difficult at best. I contacted the local store (Warren RI) that performed the installation, offered to pay for the replacement gaskets 2 months ago and have still not received a response.
I then emailed the corporate office to seek their advice on how to proceed and big surprise no response. My advice to anyone about to spend $10,000.00 or more on a bathroom renovation, avoid this company and hire a local contractor. This is what I have advised my own family and friends to do. I am very frustrated with this company and despite the "lifetime warranty" they sell you on when you are purchasing their product they give the worst customer service ever after the purchase.

Bath Fitter has a good reputation and their salesman gave a good pitch. We also know people that have Bath Fitter tubs and walls and they're very satisfied with them. The salesman was very patient because we started off going with a shower and then changed our mind. He came back again, changed all the paperwork and made it a tub. Bath Fitter is quick and they're on point, and when they say they're gonna do something, they get it done. The sales rep was wonderful and kind. After talking with them and having the estimate, it seemed that Bath Fitter had the right equipment for our bathroom remodeling and it looked like it’s going to be a custom application. They've also been there for a while and so, we got the tub to shower recess from them last December. The sales rep and installer were both friendly and professional. The guy who installed showed up on time and he did not leave until I was satisfied with the job. He was there almost until 11:00 that night making sure that everything was good. He finished the job and he didn’t need to come back to touch anything up. We were very happy with the finished product. I got what I expected and it's an all around good experience.

Bath Fitter has a lifetime warranty and it's the best thing. I don't have to worry for a long, long time. My brother and my niece from Delaware both have Bath Fitter and they like it and so we finally decided to get our bathroom done with them. It's like we almost have a new bathroom. The sales people were great. They explained everything thoroughly and took their time.
The gentleman that first came over did the measurements. Then the person that came and checked the measurements and the installation, they all worked together. All the materials were exact. Everything just worked out great because they took their time to make sure that their job was completed. The gentlemen who did the installation got here on his time, and it took him like all day. He just kept at it and I never saw him take a break. Just coming down to get materials and going back up to the bathroom. He left 9:30 and he just wanted to make sure everything was fine.
Then he went over with us and now we're putting new rug down, so he's going to come back. When we're finished with tile he's going to finish caulking it. He told us just to let him know when. He says they don't care if it's now or next year. My experience with Bath Fitter was very good. Everybody I interacted with was excellent and they also helped me with the financing. It worked out really good for us. Moreover, the shower curtain they gave us was awesome. We bought them in the past and it lasted a couple of weeks and it's excellent.

I got a walk-in shower with glass door from Bath Fitter as my husband was getting to the point where he couldn't go in to the bath tub. I chose them for the time frame and also to the warranty on the product and my experience has been excellent. Every person worked and the areas that they were working remained clean throughout the process. The worker himself was very courteous and did a beautiful job. They are trustworthy and I would not have second thoughts about leaving them in our home by themselves. I was very impressed that we were without water for just an hour and a half. Bath Fitter was giving an AARP discount and they had really high reviews on their internet site. I had our tub completely taken out and had a whole new shower put in with the pretend tiles by them. I had a Bath Fitter product installed in our house ten years ago. When we recently did a remodel, we thought about talking to a couple of different contractors, but also thought we'd get Bath Fitter in there and listen to the opportunity. My wife really liked the groutless look that Bath Fitter did so we did two bathrooms with them - one shower install and one bath with wainscoting around the bathroom.
The sales reps were fairly good. They weren't real pushy but they got their point across and tried to make the sale that day. I appreciate their time and all in all, it was a pretty good experience with them. The installer was really conscientious. The one drawback that we didn't really appreciate was the fact that the wainscoting pattern didn't match up exactly with the tile pattern in the tub. They did a great job of trying to make it look as best as they could, but there was a point where we almost canceled the wainscoting completely. But the installer did a great job in lining things up, thinking outside the box, and making the remodel satisfactory to my wife and me. Though Bath Fitter is a lot more expensive than some other installs, we have a couple of positives. The work is nice and we like it.

We first contacted Bath Fitter at the Bloomsburg Fair. We saw a booth and talked to the gentleman there. My wife had already spoken to people that had positive results and thought Bath Fitter was good. Matt, our sales rep, was wonderful and nice to us. He took his time with us and explained everything. That was a very positive experience and I'm very impressed with him. The installer was also excellent. He did really well and cleaned up. He also answered any questions we had and went over things with us so we knew exactly what he was doing and that was very good also. On our upstairs, he put a tub right over the existing tub. And then downstairs, we had a shower. And there he pretty well tore the walls out and the base and re-did that, then put a new shower in, a door, and the walls going up to the ceiling. I was very pleased with everything and I would recommend Bath Fitter to anyone.

I went to two other companies, got estimates and the gentleman from Bath Fitter gave me a good price and he seemed really intelligent and knew what he was talking about. I was happy and comfortable with him. The sales rep came in here and broke everything down for me. He got the book guide and showed me everything in the book and what was going to happen. So now we’re a team and whenever he would come in to do work on it, I knew what was going to happen. I had them take the tub out and made it into a walk-in shower. The team that did the installation came in and laid down a carpet first off, so that when they did move anything, they wouldn’t be messing with my carpet. That was really professional. They were nice guys and they did everything they were supposed to do. They did it quickly, too.

I bought this Cindi 3 months ago and the tub is Bath Fitter. I called to ask about someone coming to price putting in a shower door and the response from Stephanie was appalling. She asked about paperwork to prove it was Bath Fitters or the peckish owners' name etc none of which I had. I said "just have someone come out" - that would be good customer experience but she said "we only do shower doors for Bath Fitter customers." I couldn't believe in this business environment, a company refused to send someone to take my money. All I wanted was someone to come and look to confirm it is Bath Fitter - although I told the girl, a plumber AND a contractor told me it was. This was the worst customer experience ever and I'm including the cable companies.

The technician showed up on time and said that he would be done in just a few hours. He was courteous, kept things clean and was friendly. Most importantly, he was on schedule. When my wife returned home for the day, she was immensely pleased with the product and the install. I’ve seen Bath Fitter's works at the mall for the last few years. I thought it's nice compared to the bathroom that we have where the walls seem to be hollow in the back. At first, we didn't think that Bath Fitter would make a difference. But when we saw the quality, it's much sturdier than the shower that we had. The sales rep was also very good and he was correct that everything about the shower is easy to clean. However, they said they can do it in one day but they didn't. They did it in a day and a half. But overall, the shower is of great quality and the work was good. We liked what the installer did. He was very nice, very thorough, and well-mannered. He was quick and explained how to clean the shower and to wait a week or so before using it. He cleaned up after himself and the bathroom's just the way he found it.

We had Bath Fitter before at our other house and I liked their workmanship so I decided to work with them again. The sales was very good and thorough. He made us feel very comfortable. I purchased the one piece around the tub, over the tub thing. It goes through the walls and drops into the tub. Jericho, the guy who installed it, was awesome. He kept working and working from 9:30 in the morning until 7:00 at night. They did not disappoint me for the second time and I have no regrets. It was an awesome experience and I would definitely refer them.

I contracted with Bath Fitter (BF) on December 13, 2016. I signed a contract that states the bathroom will be installed in 6-8 weeks. On the 13th of January, I received a voice message on my cell phone from Lisa, the scheduler. Lisa said to call back to make sure the date was okay. She informed me my install will be Feb 1st. Lisa said to call back to make sure the date was okay. I phoned back the next day and spoke to Rachael and told her I needed to confirm my install date. Rachael transferred me to Lisa and I left her a message stating the 1st was perfect. This call is on my cell phone log. I never heard back from Lisa.
About a week later I called BF to make sure we were all on the same page for my install date. Rachael, again, transferred me to Lisa. I informed Rachael that I have left several messages and Lisa has not returned a single message. Rachael said all she can do is "transfer my call." I again left her a message about Feb 1 install. I received no call back again. I proceeded to call back a few more times, each time leaving Lisa a message with no callback.
Finally on Jan 29th, I called and actually spoke to Lisa! Only to be told since she never heard from me. She gave away my Feb 1st install date to someone else. I told her I left her a message on Jan 14th to confirm and had left her several messages since then. She rudely said she never received any messages from me and gave away my install date. She also lied and said she has left me several messages. She was very defensive and harsh. I never received a message from her, only the 1st one on the 13th of January. My cell phone log shows 3 missed calls from BF during the month of January but no messages were left. I informed her it's been almost 8 weeks since I signed my contract and if they can't install by Feb 7th then they are out of contract. She said they only have one installer in the Florida Keys that covers 120 miles of territory, 1 installer!
She could not provide me with an install date. She said maybe within the next 2 weeks but could not be sure and she is the scheduler? She was very rude and unprofessional and lied about my messages. Let's just say for argument sake that she really DID not receive my message, wouldn't a professional company call again considering she only left 1 message on a cell phone? Was that 1 call my only chance to get my bathroom installed on time? I told her if they could not abide by their own contract then I would like my deposit back. As of Feb 7th, the contract is null and void. She said her manager would call me. I never got the call from a manager, I waited 2 days.
I called my sales rep, Pat, he said he spoke to Lisa and she would call me. I received a call from Lisa after waiting 2 more days. We are now out of contract. I called back my sales rep and his only suggestion was to call the "800 number on my contract" and all he said was "sorry for your problems". There is no 800 number on my contract. His name is Pat. I no longer wish to deal with this company. Customer service is terrible and the people are rude. My sales rep was supposed to mail a sample of my wall color and I never received it, I asked him twice.
BF has very poor customer service! Lisa informed me the BF company in Ft Myers does not have enough help in the Florida Keys but they are the only company that has this territory. That is not my problem, hire more help. I was denied my deposit because Lisa said they already made my tub and surrounding walls. Why wouldn't they send an installer from Ft. Myers? The sales rep drives down here all the time to sell the product and collect money. Why can't an installer drive down?
If the company owns the Florida Keys then they should be responsible enough to handle the work orders in a timely manner as stated in the contract. My husband spoke to Lisa the day after her rude phone call with all the lies and she told him she could have the bathroom installed by Feb 15th, that is past my contract date. We have company arriving on the 17th, the 15th is too late and I will never deal with that company again. I will never trust them. Lisa said she will not give me back my deposit. I'm afraid if I have a problem with the install, it will be a nightmare to get customer service. And BF has no employees in my territory. I just want my hard earned money back.
It amazes me to see how a company can treat their customers so unprofessionally considering all the social media at our fingertips. And I will use all the social media I can to warn other innocent consumers out there to beware of BF of FT Myers. Ft Myers "promise" on their website says "they promise to have good values of trust and responsibility." I no longer can trust them to service my bathroom should I have issues in the future and they have very poor values. The promise also states its "mission" is "to have every customer smiling." I'm not smiling. The promise says its "vision" is "to have a great company". It's horrible. Never deal with Ft Myers Bath Fitter especially if you live in the Florida Keys. Read other reviews online. Some are good, a lot are terrible.

Our guest bathroom doesn't get used very often but we wanted to upgrade it. The tiles were starting to chip and peel. Someone else I know had work done by Bath Fitter and was very complimentary. I also checked out ConsumerAffairs website and did some of my own research with Consumer Reports and everybody's feedback was positive. Bath Fitter seemed like the most straightforward and easy solution, and it turned out it was.
We then had them redo our tub and the walls of our bathtub, and put in new fixtures and sliding glass doors. And everybody was wonderful. The guy who came in and did all the dimensions and the guy who did the actual installation both made me aware ahead of time exactly what was gonna take place and provided a lot of detail. They were very professional, courteous, and responsive to all of our questions. They showed up on time every time. I am very satisfied with all the people and the installation itself.

I only wanted the tub part done, not my entire bathroom. I decided Bath Fitter was the right company. I purchased the tub, the seamless wall and the fixtures. The first gentleman that came out to the house was the salesman. He did some preliminary measurements, and explained everything to us. About two weeks later, a field person came to do additional measurements and then the actual product. The installation gentleman was excellent. We had a brief chat and little recommendations and questions. It's only been a month but so far, the product has been holding up. I'm quite pleased and I highly recommend them.

The sales representative was great because he was very friendly, speaks my language and explained everything to us. We purchased a shower surround and I thought everything was surrounded and connected. The only connector that they brought was the two corners at the end so the other seams were connected with the glue. I asked the installer about it and that I thought everything was connected more or less inside, and he explained that sometimes it's not true. I didn't have time to call Bath Fitter and ask for more questions but he said he will come again in three months or whenever I have trouble. He was knowledgeable of what he was doing and was out working all the time. Another thing that is giving me trouble is that we don't have a door but a curtain and the water is coming out. I have to be careful 'cause the curtain is not enough.

We're up in our 70's and we're not able to do anything anymore, so I figured it'd be fine if Bath Fitter could come in and take care of things. The rep was very nice and informative. He was a very nice looking fellow and didn't make a mess. I was in the hospital during the installation of our shower but my sister took care of the business. There was a part they couldn't get in so installation was delayed for so long. But we're using and enjoying the shower now.

Our Installer was punctual, professional and kind and the entire process was streamlined from start to finish. My neighbor, Jack, had a job done by Bath Fitter. After talking to him, I decided to acquire their services to work on the tub and the walls inside the shower. I liked that they had no fees too so I chose them. The sales rep was a very nice lady and has been very good all the way around. She was professional, showed me what I was going to get, how things will go, and made sure everything is measured out the right way. It was explained very well and what they explained is what they delivered. The delivery team was great and the installer was amazing. He even washed the dishes in the sink. They were very clean. I own a few other rental properties that I’m thinking about doing the same thing to. Overall it was a very good experience. I would recommend Bath Fitter to anybody and I would use them again.

We're renovating this entire house and the numbers that we got to redo the two bathrooms were astronomical. Then we saw the marketing blitz by Bath Fitter so we called and made an appointment with them. They came in, we found out how much it would cost and decided to go that route. We purchased a tub and surround in one bathroom and a shower stall for the other one. They tore out the old shower stall and made the new one bigger. The bathrooms were done on different days because one of them took a one-day installation while the other was took a two-day installation. We paid for the first one in full and paid the second one within 90 days.
The sales representative was wonderful. He came out, sat down with us and showed us all the products they had. At first we didn't know if they could enlarge the bathroom and when he looked at it, he said they could do it. Then we looked at the various surround and tub designs as well as the faucets. We talked him about what we were looking for and he made some suggestions on things which were welcomed. He was also very informative and helpful with the 90-day payment thing that we did on one of the bathrooms. He did a great job and I would recommend him.
We're very happy with their work. I chose the subway tile surround and my husband took one of the newer surrounds which is a bigger block pattern. I was very jealous when I saw it came in because I wish I'd pick that one. But they're both really nice, including the glass door. We're finishing the renovations and getting ready to do an open house in a few weeks because a lot of our neighbors want to see it. We'll be giving the little cards out that Bath Fitter sent us to our neighbors and we are going to invite our salesperson here when we do that. We're also inviting everybody that worked in the house. That way if the neighbors want to talk about something, they can talk to the people while they're here.

We went to the Bloomsburg Fair and got a little demo from Bath Fitter there. We heard their speech, got some pamphlets, and they showed the materials, warranty, and free estimate. I had all the answers I needed to know and they guaranteed the work. I'm a pretty big guy at 253 so I asked them if it will take the weight because we had a fiberglass tub before and it didn't. They said it's guaranteed 600 pounds and he sold me on it, and financially it was very good that's why I went with it.
Two guys showed up and they were very good and professional. They were very quick and did all that in two days. They cleaned up very well too. I didn't have to do much at all and I was very happy about that. There were no splinters nor nicks on the wall. I was told the step-in shower is going to be nice compared to what I had before but boy, it really turned out nice.

I originally checked with Bath Fitter because I was hoping that they could just throw a bathtub over without having to take the old one I had. However, since I did not have an old type bathtub, they had to start from scratch. I had a salesperson come out. I said I liked the product but I didn't know if I wanted to spend that amount of money. About a week later, they said there was another sales person in the area and would I consider speaking with them again. I spoke to them again and they answered all my questions and gave me some price reductions. Although I still considered their price to be very high, I did agree to it.
A while later, someone came out to measure everything. He was extremely informative and made me feel comfortable that they would do a good job. Then the person who did all the work came and I can't say enough good things about him. He was really nice and professional, and knew what he was doing. Installation took a day and a half because they had to take the tub out and he did it by himself. That night, when he left the first time, he cleaned up everything and there was no mess. He put something down on the floor. I still think the price is high but the quality of what we got is very good compared to other things I've seen just passing through Home Depot and Lowe's.

We were interested in turnaround time and future ease of cleaning as well as the look. When we met with the Bath Fitter salesperson, we had a good rapport with him. There was no real savings with someone else and Bath Fitter has what we needed. So we purchased a shower from them in September and it was installed in November. Their sales rep wasn't overly aggressive. He was good, knew his product and put on a good presentation. My interaction with their installer was great too. I've never seen something cleaned up so well. I'm an architect too so I know contractors a little bit. Overall, it was very easy and they're fast and efficient.

I got a stand-up shower from Bath Fitter and I like their quality. They also said they could do the work in one day, which they did. The installer came in, pulled in the van and started work. He explained everything that he was doing and showed me while he was doing the measurements. Everything was done by 4:00 in the afternoon. He showed me everything that he did, took out everything, cleaned up and even mopped the floor. It was spotless like no dust. I was shocked. He explained not to touch anything and not to turn on the water for two days. He's very polite, nice and prompt. They're remarkable and very good. I love it and I would use them anytime.

Bath Fitter were more expensive compared to other company, but they advertised one-day installation so we went with them. I have one and a half bathrooms, but I don't have a spare shower or bathtub that's why I didn't want it to be drug out. When they came to install it the first time there was a problem. They had to remake the walls and then they came back and did it again. They just finished it up in December. Their sales rep seemed very knowledgeable. He told me he's been doing it for years. The installers told me what they were going to do. So far, everything went fine. However, they didn't bring the toilet paper dispenser that I bought from them so they came back and installed it in 10-15 minutes, and everything was finished.

We talked about Bath Fitter a few times and have seen some stuff about it on TV. We were at an event and there was a showcase there, so we stopped and finally asked about it and had them and give an estimate. Everything went well. The installer did a fine job and installation was the same day as what they claimed it to be. He said there was a problem with leveling the tub so he tweaked it enough to where it was made a quarter inch off of one side compared to the other. We have a linoleum floor and after the installation, I was wondering what caused the air bubble that I have in the middle of the bathroom. It's peculiar but nothing really detrimental.

I had my first bathroom done by Bath Fitter in '06. Three weeks ago, they finished work on my main bathroom and they put in a new tub. The tub came from the mid-west and Bath Fitter had to order it. It took 10 weeks to order, though, because it was very rare. Everything was great and they did a wonderful job. The installer was here and didn't leave 'til 8:30. It was a long day for him, but he was very nice and I liked him a lot. That same day too that the tub, the surround and the toilet were put in, the installer also took the doors from my first bathroom down.
Their wonderful sales rep said that they could get rid of those shower doors from my first bathroom which I hated. The doors were miserable to try to clean in between. I was tickled pink by what he said and I asked how much it was going to cost. He said I only needed to know that I was going to have those little tiny plastic plugs from where they had them drilled into the wall. I can live with that easily. I'm back to a shower curtain and I love it.

We have an extra bathroom our daughters used all the time and it had gotten sort of junky-looking. We decided at some point to sell the house and figured that's where we'd spend some money on and get it done. Then it looked like Bath Fitter's the cleanest and easiest way to do what we wanted to do and so we got the tub and walls around from them. The sales representative was easy to contact and he explained everything. The installation guy was fine and he cleaned up everything. I asked him questions as he was doing stuff and he explained what he was doing. We haven't even run the water in it since they were here. However, we made sure that the water worked all right. It was a simple and easy process, everybody we dealt with was courteous, and we liked the look of the product.

The shower was leaking so I had no choice but remodel the bathroom. I used Bath Fitter before and I went with them again. Their sales rep was very knowledgeable and helpful. I got an angle shower that fits in the corner of the room. And the guy that installed it did all the work himself. He was very professional, clean and courteous. He did exactly what he needed to do in two days and was done. It was a very good experience. If I had another bathroom that I would remodel, I would use Bath Fitter.

It was easier for Bath Fitter to do the remodeling than me. The installation went great and it took the team a day and a half to do it. However, we had to wait quite a few weeks for parts to come in for the walk-in shower. Nevertheless, I took the first shower in the remodeled bathroom and it's really nice.

I redid the whole house because it was a total loss this summer from a flood and it's a good time to get a bathtub-shower combination. I looked at Lowe's but I have to have somebody install it. I called Bath Fitter and I went to the warehouse and their rep pulled out all the stuff and explained everything to me. He knew the product really well. I looked at their product, and it seems like it's all well-built, sealed up and they know how to install it really well. So, they took out the tub and shower combo, and then they put in a shower stall. With that, I got rid of all the rotten wood that was underneath the old tub. They pulled everything out and I'm really satisfied with it.
Everybody was outstanding. The people on the phone were perfect and their sales rep was very thorough. He explained everything to me every step of the way. The guy that came over to measure and give the estimate and the installation team were outstanding too. They told me when's the best time to do it, and got it done and it was perfect. They knew everything about it.

The installer went overkill on the drain. It gurgles all the time. But other than that, it's not too bad. My wife likes the bathroom although I would have much rather had the curved shower curtain on it and drop it down an inch or so on the top shower rod so it would have worked great, but Bath Fitter didn't think it would work and wouldn't do it.

My mother-in-law had some work done with Bath Fitter and she recommended them to us. Their quality and prices were a good fit for us. We had two bathrooms done a couple of months ago. We had a shower and a bathtub replaced. The sales representative was nice though we've only spoken to him the one time he came out to our house. But we have had a number of interactions with the installer. The person was very nice and knowledgeable. We had one issue though with one of our installs. So, they're going to come back and fix it. But other than that, we don't really have any problems. It was a good experience, overall.

The Bath Fitter sales rep and installation team were both good. We had the tub surround done in November. They gave us a soap holder for free but when you read the instructions, it says they recommend you not use soap because of the residue so I thought that was kind of silly.

Tim ** was awesome! He was informative and patient during the decision-making process of picking colors and styles. Fully explained the processes and terms of agreement. I used Bath Fitter for the remodelling of our two baths. I like that it's going to be a nice, white acrylic over the existing bath and shower that we had. We reviewed all the process with the sales representative. But we didn't learn until late in the process that certain salts like Epsom salts could not be used in the bath. I was surprised to see that this type of material was sensitive to some different household salts. It says in the instruction that if I use them, I have to wash and rinse it quickly.
When we did the remodeling, we re-did the top flooring. That was the bottleneck and that's what took time. We needed that done before the tub and the shower could be installed. But even though we started the discussions, the process and the purchase in March 2016, Bath Fitter was patient with the first installation and even more patient with the installation of the second bath. They did a great job, both the installer and the advance person that did the measurements and the follow up. If somebody is looking to remodel a bath and doesn't need to do any other improvements in the bath, it's a very quick process. It's a little more expensive than I expected, but I'm satisfied with the finished product.

We are very happy with our new shower. It is easy for me to get into and shower. I am disabled and it was so very hard to get into our old bathtub to take a shower for me. I was very worried of falling and now I don't have any fear at all of getting in and showering. I love it! It was a great experience also with Marty putting it in. Bath Fitter replaced our shower stall. The first person I spoke to at Bath Fitter was very receptive and so we set up an appointment and they came in. The rep was very friendly and we then made up our mind to do it after we spoke to him. The best of them all was the guy who did the installation. He was also friendly and he vacuumed and cleaned up all his stuff after he finished so the place was as good as new. They all were very respectful of our home, did a real good job, and worked with my schedule, which was good. I will use them again if I have something else to replace. It was an easy purchase and easy installation and I would have wished it was a little bit cheaper, but I love my shower right now.

I had a leaking faucet that was leaking from the tube that Bath Fitter had installed. This tube had been installed in 2010. We called them on January 10, 2017 to repair the leak. They sent a tech out on January 11, 2017. The tech stated that the part have to be order and would be in on January 13, 2017. On January 13, 2017 the tech got started at 2:00 p.m. At around 7:00 p.m. he called in another tech to help him with the bolt that he had stripped. At 9:00 p.m. the tech ran out of the house to turn off the water because he had broken a pipe under the tube. He called out another tech to help him with fixing the pipe. Around 11:00 p.m. the tech came out to let us know the job was complete but do not turn the water on till Saturday night because the caulking needed to dry.
The next morning my wife turned on the hot water and then the cold. The cold water was only dripping. We got the supervisor to call in a local plumber to fix the problem. He state that he was not going to repair the mess that they have done. They didn't even put a cut-off valve on the cold water. Around 5:00 p.m. Saturday another plumbing company came out to look at the problem. On Monday the plumber came out to repair the mess that Bath Fitter tech had cause. All this for just a leaking faucet.

We bought the house 28 years ago and we had re-caulked the tile a few times. And I'm older, so for me to get down and to clean and scrub whenever I would do it, I'd be really sore for the next couple of days. So, my husband and I decided one day to take a ride to a local site that does bathroom where people pick out the product and they have a contractor come out. So, we walked in and looked at what we like. And that same night, I went on the computer looking up ideas for the bathroom. And I decided because Bath Fitter had a lot of good reviews, to call them and whoever I spoke with could not be any nicer on the phone. He was also informative.
We set up an appointment for the next day and the sales rep who came out was not a pressure salesman. He was amazing. He went in the downstairs bathroom and looked at the panel in the back where we had our valves and he said "there's some mold here." I didn't even know there was any mold. I told him I don't like the idea of putting a tile. He said, "No. We are taking all the tiles off. We'll clean it up and we'll put a whole new wall. We have to because there's mold." So, then we went upstairs and looked in our bathroom. And he said, "Well, you don't have mold." But I said I would like to have the tiles all removed. And he said it's not a problem. He also gave me choices of what our selection is and was here for a really long time. We went off, took the different samples and it matched.
And then the gentleman who came out did the first bathroom one week. And we requested him and he came back the following week and did the other. It's been a month and I love it. I'm really glad that we went with Bath Fitter. Then, my daughter, May, ended up calling them, too. She was here the night that the sales rep came out. And they got a house that they bought and it's a little older, so they were thinking at doing their bathroom.
When the guys also came in to measure, they said, they're also going across the street. It just so happened, one of my neighbors also called Bath Fitter. So when I told my husband that I have a question with the height because our tile didn't go as high as the door frame, he said, "No problem. I'll go across the street and ask them." So when they were done, they came back. And it was fine in the end. But they couldn't have been any more patient and very accommodating. So as far as I'm concerned, it was such a good experience. I would recommend Bath Fitter.

I had my tub installed back in early 2016. There is a couple cracks in it!!! Unreal. So I called over two weeks ago and have not heard a word back yet. They needed a day to get someone out here!!! Initially, I had a guy from Luxury Bath come in, but we didn’t get a good feel for him. He was a nice guy, but he was a high pressure salesman. So when we found Bath Fitter is on a website for Quakertown Community High School in Quakertown, Pennsylvania and since they support the school, we gave them a shout and sought a request. I hadn't hit send yet and somebody was calling me already so it was that quick. Their salesman Joe was right upfront. He wasn’t pushy and he sold us exactly what he felt he would put in his own home. He shot us a price and we liked it. He then followed up just to make sure everything went well and he did well by us.
We did the tub insert for the whole bath and then we did the shower insert with the glass doors for our master bathtub. The installers were great and I didn’t even know they were here other than realizing we have a new bathroom. Chris the installer got here on time and he was well-mannered. Our bathroom before had an almond color with a dark blue. We're now with all grays with white appliances. I walk in there in the morning or at night and I feel like I'm at the local Holiday Inn because I'm thinking this isn't the bathroom we had. It looks completely different so it's really nice. If I ever recommend Bath Fitter again I'd like to have him as the installer because if I'm putting my name behind into one of my friends, at least I know what kind of work my friends are getting.

I'm not able to get in and out of the bathtub by myself anymore. The nurse from the Veterans Administration said I needed a walk-in tub and that I needed to get bids for those, so I did. First of all, I'm not spending that much money on a bathtub that I might not be able to get into or out of in a year, so we made the executive decision to go with a walk-in shower, which saved them a significant amount of money, instead of getting the walk-in tub like the VA told me. I got bids from multiple companies ranging from $6,000 all the way up to $20,000 for what we wanted done. But because I knew an installer from Bath Fitter and liked the quality of his work, we made the decision to have Bath Fitter remove our tub and install the shower.
Because of my disability, the VA helped pay for the purchase, as well as with the paperwork nightmare and the approval process. But it took close to six months to get the grant money approved, then we had an install date two weeks later. I told Bath Fitter I'm disabled and I'm sitting around the house, so if there's an opening in the schedule, they can just call me. We had the installation relatively quickly and didn’t have any issues. The work was phenomenal. I needed specific parts in specific places, and the difference in price for the exact same thing was just amazing.
That's why I tell everybody I know not to mess with trying to call these other companies that will rip you off, and I tell them that with Bath Fitter, they don’t have to worry about anything. There are a couple of companies out there that are cheaper, but if I want a shelf, the price goes up. If I want a double shower head, that brings me up. Add a shower bench and the second shower head, and it all clicks up, and it's really not that much of a difference in price point by the time you add all of the extras in. The safety bars that I had to have were literally half the cost from Bath Fitter as they were from the competitor.
The other one, the American Standard, had a lifetime warranty. They all have the same type of jets and draining system where I have to sit in the tub until the water completely drains out, but I wasn’t spending that kind of money. We started on the bathtub, then started getting bathtub shower conversion bids from the same company. It ranged from $5900 all the way up to $18,000. But Bath Fitter came in at $7200 and that included the bars that I needed and the doors with a shower curtain that I wanted because I can stabilize myself better with the doors.
The work done cost me roughly $500 out of pocket so I got a bargain. With other companies, the process of ripping off the old bathtub, disposing it, and installing the shower would have an astronomical cost. I still have to get the floor and the wallpaper done, the toilet being the vanity, put back in, and the tiles installed, but the shower itself is phenomenal. I got what I needed and that’s all I wanted. I couldn’t ask for a better installer or a better sales rep. What I got is well worth it. I don’t need someone to hold my hand while I'm getting in and out of the bathtub, as I can get in the shower by myself, and that makes a difference.

I had a fantastic and absolutely fabulous experience with Bath Fitter. I've seen their ads on TV and then when I was at a carnival, I've stopped and talked to a guy there and he gave me a coupon for 10% off. When they called me, I decided to go ahead with it. I purchased a walk-in shower last November and the rep and installer were very nice and sweet. The installer worked right along while I was home all day long. I would recommend them to anybody.

We had a tub shower put in by Bath Fitter in late 2014. Recently, one of the panel walls appeared to have shrunk and broke the caulk seal at the top. I called and asked for repairs and was told to expect the repairman on Dec 30, 2016 at the specified time. The repair person called on the 30th and advised he had to tend to an emergency, and would call the next day (Friday) and arrange to repair the seal. There was no call back on Friday (and the tech admitted today he did not make the call).
I called again in January to re-set the appointment and was given Jan 6 at 11 am. At 10:30 am, the tech was not here so I called the company and they had the tech call me directly to advise when he would be here. The tech called back and advised that the office had not communicated with him (or vice versa) and he could not be here until somewhere around later today (time unknown). I advised him that this was unacceptable. I specifically asked for a date and time he could commit to and he finally settled on a date 12 days out from today. Office communication seems to be really lacking with this company. If I were doing this over, I would avoid using Bath Fitter.

My wife and I had a contractor that was going to remodel our bathroom, but they didn't want to deal with the tub part. We also tried Lowe's but they were just nuts. So when my wife heard a Bath Fitter ad and said one piece sounded good, we decided to call them. They then came to make measurements, and everybody was friendly. We got a shower tub liner and the installation team has been very professional. But our contractor got held up and we couldn't proceed until the bathroom was ready. It wasn't Bath Fitter's fault so the experience still went very smoothly.

We have had 2 showers installed at 2 different times of this past year. We had the same installer both times. He did a wonderful job. He was efficient and friendly. We had an old tub/shower removed and replaced with a new Bath Fitter shower stall. Product looks great. Installer did an awesome job from start to finish... only took two days. He even cleaned up each day. I would say the total cost is higher than we expected, but with the quality and lifetime warranty, I think it is worth it.

Our home was built in 1972 and it’s about time to remodel our bathroom. The sales rep gave us the remaining information that we needed and we called Bath Fitter and went from there. I'm very pleased with the work that was done. It was clean and the installer was in and out in one day which was what Bath Fitter said they can do. He was running late and he still did a good job and got everything done.

Some years ago my husband and I used Bath Fitter for a mobile home bathroom that we had. So we decided that they would be the best route to go when we bought a house and the bathroom was looking shabby. We got a tub and a shower and the sales rep was very nice and courteous. Then we had one guy come out for the installation. He did an excellent job and was very efficient. It's a little more expensive than other Bath Fitter people but it was well worth it.

Avoid this company! Bathroom has been unfinished for 2 1/2 MONTHS. The job was not estimated properly. Instead of one day install, it was 3. But the caulking job was done so poorly, it needed to be redone - twice! Three different workers couldn't get it right. I have pictures. Problem still not resolved.
UPDATED ON 01/02/2017: The local dealer has now sent $500 as a final settlement. They will not make the job right. The walls were caulked 3 times, each worse, due to walls not being cut to fit. The amount of caulk is too much and is already peeling. Project started Oct 14. We held back $500 upon payment, so now have $1000 to hire someone else to fix. Our loss of work days 6-7, due to having to watch them. The head company is aware of the buy off, I guess they approve of this level of customer satisfaction.

The financing was another story. I made a call to the salesman the day after I signed the contract to make sure that if I did not pay the balance after 3 months I would not be charged back interest on the 3 months payment. He told me, "Not at all." This was not the case when I spoke with HRAC. They told me I would be charged back the interest. I found the reps at HRAC were not professional and could not answer all my questions about the payments.

We had our old fiberglass one piece tub and walls removed and replaced with a new acrylic tub and one piece surround. Workmanship was excellent, the installer was excellent and cleaned up his mess both nights. He completed project in two days with the least amount of downtime for us, since this was our only full bath. We love the results and everyone who has seen it has been very impressed. Everything was great with my experience with Bath Fitter. I had somebody else come in and do it before Bath Fitter but they sprayed it and it all peeled. It was a mess. And then when I tried to get them to come and fix it, I couldn't. So I had to redo it. I should have had Bath Fitter right from the start and saved myself a lot of money. Bath Fitter covered our bath tub and it was perfect. The reps were really professional. They also explained everything, gave me different options and showed me the different products and prices. I highly recommend them.

On 7/28/16 Bath Fitters in Dumont NJ remodeled my bathtub and adjoining walls, but stupidly set the hot water temperature down to tepid so I can never have hot water again. No hot shower or bath ever again. What's the point of renovated bathtub if I can never enjoy hot bath or shower? "For my own good" they claim. The hot water in my kitchen sink and bathroom sink remains very hot as it was untouched by Bath Fitter plumber. But the Bath Fitter plumber set the bathtub hot water to slightly above body temperature out of company's selfish fear of potential lawsuit for being scalded. This is the weak reason they gave for not turning hot water up to normal level.
Manager and staff repeated this reason. "Fear of being sued." "Illegal". Is this nonsense or what? They should be scared of having a disgruntled client like me on their hands -- not of something that will never happen. Now that Dumont Bath Fitters has been paid in full they blew me off. Tough luck they say. "Go do it yourself. We do not want the responsibility." Impasse reached. No compromise or resolution offered.
I must add that the company rep Steve was fantastic and inspired such confidence that I signed up and paid $5,500 on the spot. The Serbian guy who did all the hard manual labor -- ripping out old walls and installing new walls, covering old tub with new tub, etc. was fantastic too. Their work is EXCELLENT! Pity this scandal should taint them.
The ONLY thing wrong is the manager refuses to let the plumber return to make tepid water hot again, as it should be. Hot water temp should be restored to what it was prior to installation date 7/28/16. The hot water from kitchen faucet and bathroom sink faucet remain adequately hot (not dangerously scalding) because BF plumber did not tamper with them. Simple request, no? Quick and easy to fix, but BF management is being stubborn about it and making ugly mess out of what would have otherwise been 5-star rave review.

I work in the mall where there's a display of the Bath Fitter. I heard good things about Bath Fitter so we used them to convert the tub to a shower. It was a little more expensive than I originally thought. However we really wanted to change our bathtub to a shower, which is very common these days, because we never take the baths and we go in for a shower.
The installer came in the summertime. We asked him to come later because we were having all kinds of other things done on the house. We booked ahead and he came in November and got it done. He took the time he said he was gonna take, which was two days. He stayed late on both days, which I didn't expect, but we like it. He worked on his own although he had a plumber at one point. When it was all through we had a little problem with the handle for the water and it wasn't coming out hot water. The plumber came fairly soon, about a couple of days later, and rectified the problem. All in all, they were very polite and it went well. I would recommend Bath Fitter to anybody.

I had Bath Fitter go over my tub and put in shower doors. I was very pleased with the outcome. Fast forward 10 years. My tub has a 6 inch stain that is in the enamel so it won't come out. Bath Fitter has been out twice to remedy but no luck. Still happy w/ Bath Fitter. Enter new manager in NY... Comes over, takes pictures, very professional. End of happy story... He tells me he can redo the tub at a cost of $500 plus he can't guarantee that he can put the shower doors back in place. So I would have a clean tub w/ no shower doors. Are you kidding me? Lifetime warranty... Not if you are 67 years old living on a fixed income!

Bath Fitter is affordable so we purchased a shower from them that we've been using for a month now. Their sales rep were friendly and knowledgeable except that we were not on the same wavelength because I'm a little dissatisfied now and there's nothing they can do about it. I was under the impression I was having the shower door as high as I wanted it until they installed it. My shower door is solid glass, doesn't slide, and opens like a door but I wanted it taller than it was. They assumed that I didn't wanna pay for the upgrade of having that done. I would have but they never really bothered to ask me. It was too late to do anything about it but other than that, everything was fine.

We had had the grouting done twice and it wasn't holding up. The color tile was no longer available and a color that didn’t quite match was put in so there were two different colors. It was also breaking up and falling apart so we were trying to debate what to do about it and I thought instead of trying to redo it again, having Bath Fitter would be a good solution.
The first guy who came out was really good, no-nonsense, very quick, articulate and right to the point about everything. He gave me like a pass because they have some discounts if you buy right away, which I couldn't do as my husband wasn't available. They had another guy come out, who was a little bit surly. He seemed like he was over it. I was asking some questions and he was one step below rude. I had second thoughts but after discussing with my husband about the other parts of the installation, we decided that we would go ahead with it. If I had met him first, I probably wouldn't want to work with the company. But I met the other guy first who seemed more reasonable.
I was there for about two hours during the installation. The installer was fantastic, very nice and knowledgeable. But my husband told me that there was some trouble with a leaking pipe and the installation took a lot longer. He thought it was going to be finished in a very short amount of time but the guy ended up staying until 4:00. But that was the only issue.
The walls and the tub were redone and they were the only parts of the bathroom that we changed. We have a full-sized bathtub shower. It looks great although I’m not crazy about the shower head. I was a little bit disappointed that there wasn't a lot of choices. I didn’t even get a choice. I was talking to my husband about changing it but we're wondering whether there is going to be a problem with any part of the guarantee.

I was planning on doing my bathroom myself because I was having a little bit of trouble with it but I got tied up with a bunch of other stuff. It was a basement shower and its wall was caving in. Bath Fitter installed the shower base with sliding doors in about two days and I like it. The only problem I had was I had to do a little bit of cleanup.

I was very happy from initial sale visit and final installation. No high pressure and everyone I had contact with either in person or by phone were pleasant, respectful and knowledgeable. All work went according to the timeline at each step of the process. The installers did my job in one day without any problems. There were two workers because this was scheduled the day before Thanksgiving. They used drop clothes from the front door to the bathroom to protect and keep my home clean. The bathroom was actually cleaner when they left than when they started! Very happy with my new tub and shower enclosure :) and will recommend them to anyone considering this type of work.

I just moved into the house this summer and the shower and the tub in one bathroom were really old. I was concerned there were leaks so had Bath Fitter remodel the bathroom. From the information I had read, Bath Fitter does a very thorough job and in a timely manner which was what I was looking for so I got the tub/shower combo from them. The appointment leading up to the work being done at my house and doing the paperwork were easy. Everybody explained everything to me and I appreciated that. The sales rep was very friendly and totally upfront. He explained the different prices depending on the style of the walls and the materials. During the installation, the one gentleman was really good. He told me everything he had to do, how long it would take and he was careful about bringing things into the house. My bathrooms were outdated so I had Bath Fitter put in their tubs and showers. The installers explained everything that was going to happen. They went over to make sure that they were going to install was what I ordered. They also gave me the estimated time. I had a very good experience with Bath Fitter.

Bath Fitter is a well-known name and my husband says it's a better product. We had the bath tub taken out and had a walk-in shower installed. Their staff were all very polite and efficient. The age of my house and the condition of my shower was not at a point where there were problems but I could foresee they were coming, so I figured it was a good time to get ahead of that. I talked to Bath Fitter. I heard some people had good experiences with them. When they came, they gave me a price that was close to my expected range. They have brand recognition and that's what sealed my ultimate decision. They remodeled the cabin shower. The sales rep and the installer were very nice, knowledgeable, respectful to my house, and didn't cause any damage or make any mess. I liked them. The installation went well and the remodel looked great. It's a positive experience and if I had to redo another bathroom, I would. I’ve recommended it to other people.

I am very happy with my new shower. The installer did an excellent transformation - removing the tub and creating a full stall shower all in less than 5 hours this job was done at My Sylvan Beach, NY residence. Sometimes I would like more "power" from the water.

Our friends told us that they were really satisfied with the remodel Bath Fitter did. They had theirs in for years. My husband got arthritis really bad and he couldn't step over our real high tub so we purchased a shower from Bath Fitter. Their salesperson was wonderful and the guy that came to install it was great, too. He cleaned up and made sure that I didn't have to do anything. We just moved and our tub was not what we liked it to be. So we thought that remodeling it would be the fastest way to do. We walked through the mall and saw Bath Fitter's display and we got a tub-shower combo from them. I liked the look and the seat of it. It looks pretty clean and has simple lines. A couple of years ago, a neighbor suggested that we give Bath Fitter a try for our bathroom remodeling. Needless to say, we ended up letting them remodel two bathrooms. Everything was good, so we thought. However, we started to notice stress fractures in the corners in the master bathroom. After poor customer service, not having the original design, and scheduling issues, it appeared that they finally got it right. That was not the case. We now have issues with both bathrooms. I inquired about the amount of time to resolve this. Of course, I should have known that I would not get anything definitive. I am so disgusted at this point.
On the other hand, I need to make it clear that we believe it's the product not the technicians. We are convinced that these products are not as good as they think. This company certainly has changed since we were first introduced to them. At this point, my husband and I regret that we entrusted them to be a part of our home. Above all, we want this repaired correctly. Did I mention that this will be the fourth time that we have experienced an issue. With this in mind, we also wonder if they should hire a contractor to come in and do both bathrooms over. After all, it would probably be much simpler for them. It certainly appears that our holidays are going to be inconvenienced. Finally, we advise others to check the corners and bends in their walls. It may just turn out that seamless doesn't work for every situation.

Best experience with Bath Fitter-professional, on time, hard working, clean after job was done. Both bathrooms now look great and clean. We used Bath fitter 20 years ago at another property and it's still holding up. A little pricey but cheaper than a total bathroom redo!

We had Bath Fitter replace 3 tubs and 3 toilets. The sales rep was very nice. However, once the work was done the headaches started and money still pouring out. First of all you should know that certified plumbers are NOT doing the work. They sent guys out to do the work and the plumber came by for about 2 min, did a minimal visual scan and said all was good. The first time I took a bath upstairs after they replaced the tub I went downstairs and all our new flooring was flooded. Turns out the guy doing the work did not connect the drain pipes. That was on a Sat about 2 am. I called and left Bath Fitter a message. A woman called me back, either Sun or Mon and didn't offer to send anyone out to fix the problem or to clean up the flooded areas. I called and left message for manager and he did not return my call until 4 days later and then he yelled at me for hiring a company to come dry out the floors, ceilings, and walls.
When I asked him for their insurance info he refused to give it to me. We had to get our insurance company to subrogate with theirs. I think about a week and a half into it, their insurance company finally gave us a call. Then the manager refused to talk to me. He said he would not talk to me as I had not signed the check, someone else in my family had. However, I signed the contract! When the person who signed the checked called the manager, he never returned the call. Then a few months later we had the commode they installed leak and we had to hire a plumber to fix that and to replace the subflooring. Now we have mold in all the areas that Bath Fitter worked on and we had leaks. Not only is it costing us thousands in lost rental income, but also thousands and thousands to get everything fixed! In my opinion, you should run as fast as you can away from this company!

Location of Install: Fort Washington, MD - My mother got Bath Fitter to improve her full bath. They installed the new tub/shower surround and installed a new high energy efficient toilet. It all looked great and working well. Until the toilet started leaking into the dining area below. My hubby cut a hole in the ceiling to see where the leak was coming from and found it was the toilet. My mother called Bath Fitter. They sent someone out the next day (week of Thanksgiving). All great. Until the person who came out told her they are not responsible for the damage to the ceiling and if it happens again she needs to call a licensed plumber.
He also said the problem was the flange which has been in place for years and NEVER leaked with the old toilet. The install is what caused the leak and the person who initially came out to do the install missed a step when installing the toilet which caused the leak. So, we feel Bath Fitter should pay for the repairs to the ceiling and plan to write a letter.

Thank you for your response. They came back to fix the faucet and three representatives from Bath Fitter came to my house this evening and have come up with a plan to resolve the issue. They will be working with me to get it fixed in the near future.

The salesperson was wonderful and talked me through all my questions. The scheduling department was great and worked around my crazy schedule. The day before the installation, I received an email with directions to get the house ready for the installing as well as a phone call to confirm the appointment. They arrived within their window and began installing quickly. I loved the way it looked and couldn't wait to take my first shower but I waited the required 24 hours.
I instantly noticed a leak from the faucet/spigot and another one on the opposite side of the tub. I called Friday morning to report this and they sent the installer out that afternoon. He was able to fix the spigot right away but, after talking to his boss, told me that the other problem could not be fixed. He said it was because my original tub was already tipped forward before the new tub was put over it that they could not fix it. They recommended getting one of those plastic splash guards and attach it to the corner of the tub.
Even though I told them that my former tub never leaked and that I was not happy about putting those ugly plastic corners on my brand new beautiful tub, they said there was nothing they could do. I am currently waiting for a call back from their office about this and I may have to cancel my daughter's installation (even though I really don't want to). I am hoping a better solution can be reached.

I called bath Fitter a little over a year ago and they came to the house and the rep introduced walk-in the tub. It sounded like what we wanted, so we bought it. The installation team was good and did well even though there’s a couple of things that I didn’t like. I had the tile around where the sharp fitting was on the wall and instead of replacing the tile with the same tile that was there, they put a plastic patch of it. That cheapens the whole installation but it works.

If it hadn't been Bath Fitter, we wouldn’t have gotten our bathroom done We bought the shower tub overlay and the walls surrounding in the lower half of the bathroom from them and everything worked out good. Their sales reps were all good and the installation team was awesome. There were no problems.

On April 20, 2015 I had my bathroom tub remodeled. Sales rep was very professional, the bathtub looks great, but in the past weeks it gets clogged. After a bath the water just stands, does not go down the drain. So when you enter the bathroom you get an odor from standing water. I believe under the tub was not placed correctly and this is causing the odor. I've called today to complain but I get an answering service. I leave a message and no one has called me back.
