    I liked the one-piece, seamless stall from Bath Fitter and when I talked to their salesman, he was really nice and knowledgeable. The installation was all done and good after one time. Their team was great and the leader Wyett was on point, got right down to business and was out of there in four hours. The cleanliness was better than what they left it as. Overall, it was a positive experience. Bath Fitter is a little bit more expensive than the other people that I asked, but it was well worth every penny.

    I had a shower installed around October of 2016 and it has now been about 1 1/2 years later and the metal parts of the seat are rusting. I have tried several times to contact the customer service and nobody will answer the phone. It appears that it was a huge mistake on my part to go with this vendor. I am not finished paying for this yet, and it is rusting.

    I've been attempting to get a referral incentive sent to the friend who referred me to Bath Fitters since January. Although I told the salesman who came to our home a minimum of two times that a friend at work had work done and was very happy with it, the salesman never mentioned a referral incentive. I only found out about it after reading the paperwork. I called the company in January and gave them all the information regarding the referral and was told that if a check didn't arrive to my friend 30 days after installation, I should call back to make sure the request didn't get overlooked. On March 14, well after the 30 days, I called again and was told someone would get back with me. It was several days later when Bob called and said he would have to get with his manager to get this done.

    In early April, I called again and was called back by Vince on April 11 who told me that they had dropped the ball and that a check was going out and that he would personally see that it was done. On April 20, I called yet again and asked for Vince. I was told he was in a meeting with the owner, but he wanted me to call him back in an hour. Really? I'm supposed to set my alarm to call him back in an hour and make yet another call to resolve this issue? Perhaps I also need to go to the office and cut the check. The girl also told me he said he watched the check get done and put in the mail on Monday, April 16. As of Saturday, April 21, still no check in the mail. No, I didn't call him back. As the customer, I don't think I should have to do that. At this point, I think the referral incentive is just a scam. Although I am happy with the product, I can only hope nothing ever goes wrong since problem resolution does not seem to be a priority.

    I do daycare and I can’t have my bathroom unavailable, so I wanted something to be done in one or two days. I was at a craft show and Bath Fitter had a little booth there, and talking with the Bath Fitter sales rep went fine. They put the bathtub in and the installation was fine, but I wasn’t happy with the plumber. They had to get into my closet and so I told them to let me get my clothes out of there first. They said that it was okay and that they would just work around it. But they threw shavings all over my clothes and I wasn’t happy about that. Other than that, the tub people were very nice and they accommodated around my daycare since I still had daycare that day. Everything is going good so far.

    I saw Bath Fitter at the fairs years ago and I remembered them when I wanted to redo my bathroom. I had them install the grab bar, soap dish, and corner shelving. Their reps were wonderful and the installer did a great job. I kind of expected to go in there and do a little cleanup but I didn't have to. Also, I'm really pleased with what I've got because I like to take a bath every once in a while and it's nice to have a bath where the water stays hot. I have the old cast iron tub and with the system that they put over it, I still have hot water a half hour after I'm in there.

    I saw Bath Fitter at a home and garden show and I liked the idea that it was just a one or two-day installation. My interaction with their rep was good. The installation team did a really good job and they cleaned up after themselves.     I have never provided a review for any previous service or product before but we contracted Bath Fitter from Oshawa Ontario to provide a bright fresh new look to our existing ensuite shower and bathtub surround. The installer was extremely courteous and polite but caused some damage to the bathtub which was not scheduled to receive any treatment. I attempted to repair and touch up the damage but was unsuccessful and so I contacted Shelley in the Oshawa office.

    A number of solutions were proposed but ultimately it was determined without very much debate that the only viable solution would be to install a complete new overlay to the bathtub. This was carried out at Bath Fitter's expense and at our convenience and I was completely satisfied with the end result. I was genuinely impressed with the excellent level of service and the fact that Bath Fitter stood by the quality of their workmanship and installation and therefore I would have no hesitation in using this organization again. Furthermore, I would also recommend this company for their integrity and honesty in dealing with their customer.

    My shower was in a bad shape, and getting it done seemed like the best thing to do. I was in BJ's in the Wholesale Club, and they offered me a coupon. And when I got the coupon, Bath Fitter called me and their rep came out. I got the shower, shower head, and the floor shelves. And I had a wonderful experience with their rep. He was really nice and came out in good time. During the time period when we were doing the matters when he would do the contract and pick up the money for my services, my mother passed. And he came with flowers, which I thought was really nice. I wanna get my tub done, and I had gotten a coupon, but nobody ever called me the second time. Other than that, Bath Fitter was a wise choice.

    We told the Bath Fitter guy who came out and talked to us what we wanted and he explained everything. And then, we decided that’s what we wanted and we got the walk-in shower. The installation team seemed to have done a good job. The lifetime warranty is a big plus because one of the doors came off the track and they came right out and fixed it. I really like Bath Fitter's walk-in shower and we’d probably do it again if we ever have a different house.

    We got a new Bath Fitter bathtub cover approx a year ago. Due to door clearance we ordered a straight curtain rod. The installer started to install a curved one but we insisted on straight. Because he had already drilled for the curved one the curtain rod is set back too far and the curtain does not hang straight. It's a relatively small thing but it was poorly done and anyone we've talked to says they will go check it out and that's the last we hear from them.

    My experience with Bath Fitter in Oklahoma. We signed contract and got a tub insert and walls put in our main bathroom the end of Oct and first of Nov 2015. Everything was good with no problems. Fast forward to March 2018 when we noticed a crack on the top and side of the tub. I called and they sent someone out couple of days later. He said he didn't see anything that would have cause it or that it was something that was our fault. I asked when they would fix it and he told us that it would be scheduled by the office as he didn't do the ordering of the parts. The next day Bath Fitter came up on the caller id and I thought, “Wow they are prompt.” The person on the phone informed me that it was not covered on their so-called lifetime warranty that it had been determined from pictures to have been caused by us, probably from work done in the bathroom flooring and ceiling.

    I told her that wasn't true and she said the guy who had came out stated that we had work done in there. I informed her that the ceiling had been redone in 2003 and floor we had tile put down before the tub stuff was done and could prove it all with receipts. She said it would cost around $2300 for them to fix it. I told her it looked to me that if the tub had fit perfect over my old tub that you would be able to see the old tub through the crack. She said she had to talk to someone else and would call me back. She didn't on that day and when I called she had left for the day. Next time I spoke with them they said that it actually appeared that we dropped something on it that caused it to crack and since I said that wasn't true either they would forward everything to corporate office to see what they say about it.

    I forgot to mention to them that when you knock on the tub there on the top it sounds hollow right where it cracked, don't think telling them that is going to make any difference. I have to mention though that the person I have been talking to has always been polite and courteous while talking to me. Finally got a callback and corporate has determined that we used a harsh chemical on it and that is what caused it to crack but they would furnish the tub and all we had to pay was for the labor at $650.

    Is this fair, no but we really don't have a choice since it has to be fixed. My husband has COPD and on oxygen so chemicals of any kind are not used in our home. They have gone through every possible reason for the crack, all different that they could come up with. They are scheduled to come replace it next week so I guess $650 lesson learned, don't believe lifetime warranties. We will probably never know why it cracked, hope the second one is better.

    Updated on 05/13/2018: I wrote originally (Bath Fitter review on April 20, 2018) told story about having to pay $650 to have liner replaced after it cracked. The company wrote the standard answer saying they had referred it to the company and I would hear from them right away. Not only did I not hear from them unless you count when my check was cashed but now the original review is marked that it was resolved outside of Consumer Affairs. I thought this was a real review site but apparently it isn't if it can be marked resolved without any contact at all. I am more disappointed now than I was at the start of this.

    When I made an appointment with Bath Fitter, their sales rep came in and told me all about what I could get. It was good and they made me a deal so I took it and purchased a tub from them that was installed in January. The installers were very informative and everything worked really well. Although we have the wrong bathtub, it worked fine. I was gonna get the ones with the armrest in there and that's not what I got but I didn't want to wait for it to come in. The bathtub was more for appearance and for selling later than anything else. I would recommend Bath Fitter to a friend but price-wise, it is high-end so I have to be careful about who I recommend it to because a lot of people can't afford it.

    I heard some good stuff about Bath Fitter. Through the years, I'd look and say that they are awesome. They come in and redo everything. I got their shower and the bathtub and with the 4-tiers. And they put those right before Thanksgiving. From the salesman all the way down to the guy who put it in, they were awesome. Any questions I had, they answered. The installer was so polite. He was at the house doing the installation for about six hours and the job he did was 110%. It's all one piece and it's beautiful. I'm so picky on that and I do exactly what they ask me to. I wipe it down and I would tell my 20-year-old daughter that when she's done, she needs to wipe it down too. Everything was excellent. We got a second bathroom and I'm going to do that one with Bath Fitter, too. I would highly recommend them to anybody.

    We had a great experience with Bath Fitter. It was painless, they did exactly what I expected them to do and they put out a good product.     We liked the aspect of doing it in one day. It was very enticing because nobody has time for a big mess in their house so we purchased the shower from Bath Fitter. But, we had a little rough start. We were told one thing and then somebody was supposed to come but the tech wasn't able to come. However, there was this rep who came and answered all of our questions and put our minds at ease on some of the concerns we had. It was quite a bit more than we thought it was going to be. But, in the course of a month, all of our questions with the lifetime warranty, doing it in one day and looking as good as it does, were answered.

    The installers said that they would be there early in the morning and they were there within 15 minutes of when they said they would be. I'm a little bit nosy about it so I had some questions for the tech and he was fine with that. He was there by himself except for a brief period where he had a second person. The installation was smooth and he was done by 4:00 o’clock, starting at 8:00. So far, the quality of the work is good and I would tell friends and family members that it's worth the money.

    We just had Bath Fitter at our home. The salesman was great, no problems with the installer. He arrived at 10 and was all done by 5pm, work looked great. The whole family was happy with it. Our problem was with the office and the billing practices. My wife gave her visa for the deposit. Without advising us they took the remaining 3k from her visa. I called the office and they said yes we can reverse it if I bring in several post dated checks. We don't use checks and would cost more $ to get some from the bank. I actually wanted the 3k on a different card (lower interest), it's too late now. Most companies send an invoice in mail or phone call. I thought the salesman said we can make payments? Billing could have been handled much better IMO.

    I was at the Valley West Mall and Bath Fitter had a stand there. I liked the looks of what they had there and when they came to talk to me about it, we liked what they said. I got the bath, the bath tub and the shower. The rep was very informative and he explained what he was doing. They were on time during the installation and they completed the job in a day.     Bath Fitter installed our bath tub, the surround, one-handle faucet, shower head, the shower curtain, and then they did two grab bars. The installers were prompt and very courteous. They were also very helpful, because I’m blind and I asked questions and they answered them. When I couldn’t understand something, they showed me. And they cleaned up their mess. They were here for about eight hours and everything was done good.

    Our tub was leaking into the floor and off the wall. It also had all kinds of seams on it. It was always getting mildew marks and dust is hard to clean. I went to a craft fair in town and Bath Fitter had a table there, and I made a purchase from them in January. Their price was high, but other than that, the installer did well. He came in, worked away and finished up the next day. So, that was quick. Everything went fine so far with Bath Fitter and I have talked to other people about them.

    I had no idea the price of a tub liner would cost more than carpeting my entire house! Sales rep at the mall refused to give me a ballpark figure when I inquired. He was more interested in getting me to sign that card. Another sales rep came to the house and measured the tub for a liner gave us a price of $9746!!! I called Bath Planet and the same liner, same everything was $3000 less. Bath Fitter is ridiculously overpriced. There must be some high salaries to pay in that place to warrant such a high cost!

    We had been thinking for a while about doing our remodel with Bath Fitter. I knew of a couple of friends that had it had some bids that were really outrageous. So, we decided to let Bath Fitter do an estimate for us. At that point, we have done enough to realize that we didn't want to put a tub and we were just gonna go with the shower. Also we were not going to upgrade as much as countertops. Bath Fitter was very cooperative, reasonable and nice. We decided to go on with it and the installation was very quick. The installers cleaned up amazingly and there was really no indication they've been there. I was a little concerned about how things will turn out because we weren't getting new flooring, and it all turned out amazing.

    I am very disappointed with the outcome of my experience with Bath Fitter. I had an install done in January, and while the final product is great and I am very pleased with the bath/shower, I am extremely disappointed with the damage that was done to my home in the process. I bought the house in June of 2017 and had just finished replacing all the trim throughout the home and painting the doors. The installer was in a huge hurry and took chunks out of multiple door trim and poked a hole in the vinyl flooring. There are scratches on two doors.

    When I brought this issue up to my salesman he was very sympathetic, and said that this is not typical. I asked for a small compensation for the time and material it would take to correct/repair the damage that was done to my home. That request was denied. I never even received a call from a manager, my salesperson just told me that they have a disclaimer on the back of their contracts, under 5. Installation: which reads:

    "Please note Bath Fitter will take necessary precautions not to damage the work area. Special Note: regarding floor or ceiling damage in or adjacent to the immediate work area: On rare occasions, damage may occur in areas within close proximity to the work area. Such damages could include the loosening or cracking of adjacent tiles, paint or joints, caused by vibrations created during removal and replacement of existing materials. In most cases, this damage is pre-existing (structural deficiency) and is merely aggravated by work in the area. While Bath Fitter installers will take every precaution to prevent this occurrence, Bath Fitter cannot be held responsible for these damages should they occur." I would not recommend Bath Fitter as they see this blurb as a release from all responsibility for damage done to your home.

    We used Bath Fitter mainly because we wanted something that didn't have any clamps and that's seamless because they're glass. The installer did very well.     One of our neighbors had a repairman doing some work over there and it was one of Bath Fitter’s men. I went over and talked with him. I looked at the product and decided we wanted it. We had a cover for our tub and shower with glass doors put in around September of last year. And the people were fantastic. They were very personable and friendly.     We called Bath Fitter and talked to them about having a bathtub and shower installed and we were drawn to the price. I thought it was pretty much a one day service and we thought we’d give it a try. Bath Fitter's sales rep was good. He came in and looked at the situation. We sat down and talked about the needs and what we needed to do, including what he could do for us, and everything was good. I felt pretty confident that he was giving me the true load on. The installation happened three months ago and everything that he said would take place, the workers did that.

    I asked the installation team a few simple questions about some of the stuff they would do. They were replacing some places where they may have been accumulation of potential mold, and I wouldn’t be able to deal with something like that and how it would be with changing everything and sealing it back up. They said, “It all comes in one piece anyway so, we’re gonna have to worry about sealing it.” They came in the house taking their shoes off, and I told them that they didn’t have to do that ‘cause we got to sample our carpet anyway and their feet weren’t dirty.

    The job came out great and my wife was very impressed. We have already passed it on to some other family members and they have seen it and they also like it. The overall experience was good and we are very satisfied with the work. I like everything else but the pricing, and I would recommend them. I'd tell others that Bath Fitter is a big company to do some work for them like that if it’s what they want. I'd advise them that they could call Bath Fitter on their own, listen to what they have to say and go from there.

    I'm super happy with my Bath Fitter tub. My other tub was cracked and so, it was leaking through the floor. My toilet and the sink are fine but other places wouldn't do just the bathtub. I've gone to bath remodelers to do the whole bathroom and it was outrageous. And to do the bathtub, it was still more than I expected but it was cheaper than the whole bathroom. Bath Fitter's rep came to the house and we went through everything. He was professional. The guy who came and did the measurements was great and we talked about everything and he was in and out at in a good amount of time. And then the installer was great as well. And he was working by himself but he did a great job and kept me apprised. He pulled the bathtub out and put a whole new one. Everything was clean when he left and it took him a day and a half to do the installation. Overall, it's a good experience and I would recommend Bath Fitter to anybody.

    I liked the Bath Fitter rep that I talked to. He didn't try to sell me this and that. There was no pressure and he listened to what I wanted and what I asked. He did very well. And then, the person who did the installation was really nice and he did a really good job as well. He covered up the bathtub because I had a new one put in, but it turned out to be a really terrible bathtub. I wanted something on the bottom so that I wouldn't have to put a mat in it so I could walk and not slip. And they had sticky bristles on the bottom of it and it works very well. But it gets very dirty and it's hard to clean, and the only thing that I could clean it with is a bristle pad. The dirt would come off but I could always still lightly see it. Nobody told me what's gonna show and that it's hard to clean. And I wasn't thinking about it at the time because it didn't really show up then.

    Other than that, from what I've seen in Bath Fitter's design, I thought that it will work better, and so far it has. And if somebody would ask me about Bath Fitter, I'd tell them that they can trust them and they'll get the job done. The only mishap was that it took them a little bit too long to get the mold off my tub to do their job. And when they did, they wanted to see if they could change the schedule and do it the next day, and I couldn't do that. So, I had to rearrange the schedule and then it was another couple of weeks before I could get it in. And that I didn't really care for but I wasn't gonna make a big deal out of it.

    Said no fumes, I asked the salesman several times as I have COPD. Had to leave during the installation and the product leaked so had to leave a second time. They damaged my bifold doors, the door jam, scratched my floor and left splatters of silicone on everything after the repair. The product itself is full of scratches. Not what I would expect after spending almost $6,000 for a very small shower. After being leaned against my toilet was leaking and had to call a plumber.

    I have had a new shower from Bath Fitter for five months now. We had gone to a country fair and they had a booth there and we got information from that. The gentleman who came in to give us a quote and to look at our site was wonderful. But I had a little incident on Facebook with somebody who was making a derogatory anti-gay remark and when I looked to see where he works, he works at Bath Fitter. Being that I'm in a relationship with my spouse for 30 years, I was upset so I called Bath Fitter and the CEO from this district called me back and was very apologetic.

    He told me that was not the way the company runs. I told him that he needed to tell this gentleman that when he pushes his Christian ideology on people, he needs to be careful where he tells people where he works because it didn’t take me long to find him. I then told him that I didn't want to buy my shower from them anymore. He told me that while it was past the time and that I could change my mind. And even though they hadn't done anything, they would let me free of the deal. The way the CEO handled it impressed me.

    He assured me that was not their philosophy, and then I called our sales rep who happens to be gay and he was very shocked and upset because he works with this guy. He said that if that was his attitude, it is not a good thing for them. I asked him to go him and tell him what this did to us, of how upsetting it was and that he should learn from this experience. I'm not an anti-Christian, but he can't make nasty comments about gay people on somebody’s Facebook page.

    Other than that, the guy who did the installation was wonderful. He came in, was very clean and he worked all day. When he was done, he came to us and said that he wanted to show us the product and how to care for it. He also wanted to show that everything is okay and is to our standard. It's beautiful and we love it. We also got the one with the safety rails and built-in seats because I'm 65. It was one of the reasons we wanted to get the tub because it made getting in and out much easier.

    We had it installed around 17 years ago and for the first few years it was great. It's now chipping and discoloring. We were given a 25 year guarantee and it didn't quite make it. It was a temporary fix. In the process of ripping everything out and getting a new real tub. I guess nothing is forever.

    My brother had a bath done by Bath Fitter and we liked their tub. Nine months ago, we had them do two bathrooms. One had a shower installed and the other had a tub-shower combination and commode. We had a very helpful and straightforward salesperson who did a good job. He went to inspect and then we had a couple of questions afterward and he responded to them.

    We had two different installers for each bathroom and both of them were very good and were courteous. We like our new bathrooms and we've had compliments on them.     We had 2 bathtubs installed by Bath Fitters. The installation was quick and painless. The cost was high but it has a lifetime warranty so I thought it would be worth it. Unfortunately we are limited to what products we can use to clean the tubs. They recommended vinegar. I started with just that but I would scrub forever and soap scum just clings to these tubs. I am now trying vinegar with dish soap which is highly recommended by landlords who have to clean a tub after months of not being cleaned and I am still scrubbing for almost half an hour on each tub to get the scum off. I am doing this every week. I have a lifetime of this ahead of me.

    We knew exactly what we wanted to do with our bathroom and we wanted somebody who was going to do it right and give us a lifetime warranty. Then we saw Bath Fitter's advertisement on television and they were perfect for we wanted to do. We called them and that went nice and smooth. They set us up with an appointment with a gentleman and we told them what day and time we were going to be available.

    The salesperson who came out was great. He went over the material that he got and showed us exactly what they were going to do. Then he made an appointment and another gentleman came in and got to work. He had it done within about a day and he did an awesome job. He also had a person who was in training with him and he helped him out the best he could. They cleaned up after themselves and there was a lot of turning back and forth to the trash. Then they took the trash with them. They even wiped the walls when they were done and told us not to use the bathroom for 24 hours because it was caulked and must settle.

    We love Bath Fitter. We did a full remodel then they had to replace the whole tub and the shower unit because the existing one was made out of fiberglass, so it would crack. We had a great experience with them and we didn't have to do much during the whole ordeal. We really appreciated them. I’ve had friends ask me about them and I told them about our experience. They said they would probably go with Bath Fitter if they had their bathroom done because they loved ours.

    A Bath Fitter television ad where they were offering $600 off if you responded within a certain amount of time got me thinking about them. And I chose them because I liked the fact that I'm never going to have to replace any caulk again. The salesperson came right to the house and showed us and told us everything. It was very helpful. After he left, my wife and I got to talking about it and we changed our mind about a couple of things.     I had Bath Fitter line my tub and put in new shower doors on 02/02/2018. They did an excellent job. It looks really good. In a couple of weeks I noticed that the nonslip surface was turning blue. I called the office in Copiague NY and told the fellow who answered what happened and he said I must have used an unauthorized product to clean it because he never heard of something like this happening. His voice was very condescending. I had spoken nicely to him so that was not called for. I told him it was only a couple of weeks old and that I keep it very clean by wiping the walls with a soft cloth after each shower.

    I have not needed to use a cleaning product as yet. I sent them pictures. They sent someone to look at it. He was able to clean it and was very professional and polite. He looked at the products my wife and I use when showering and said he didn't see anything wrong with them. Now it is happening again. I called and left a voicemail the other day and am waiting for a callback. I think the blue is coming from standing on the nonslip surface but I can't be certain.

    Our house is not going to be on the market anytime soon but we had a friend realtor come through and tell us what needed to happen in order to make our house more marketable when we do it. Her primary thing is that we needed to do something different in the bathrooms because even though they’re in good shape, it was like antique fiberglass tub to surrounds in there. We needed to start somewhere and we thought Bath Fitter was a good way to do it because it seemed simple. And a big attraction was the minimum amount of time that it was going to take to redo a bathroom.

    When the first man came to give us the estimate, he was very professional, personable, able to answer all our questions, and built a lot of confidence. My husband and I have been in sales most of our lives so we were really impressed by his professionalism and his clarity. He sold us the job. And we were really happy to hear about the custom fitting. The house was built in the 60s, so everything was goofy, tile colors and stuff. Also, nobody has fiberglass anymore. Everyone has plastic in their house. But to me, everything is in great shape although we knew it had a limited shelf life. So, the idea of tearing up the floor in the bathroom and all that was involved was not something I wanted to do. But he was able to reassure us that the way the Bath Fitter worked, they could take out the old fiberglass unit and not have to rip up the floor. And we felt like it was a fair price for what was going to happen.

    Bath Fitter has to do very meticulous measurements and a second guy came in to do it. He was excellent, took his time, and was able to reassure me about what needed to happen downstairs. There was a little water damage and he was able to look and see if what that was about so he was very reassuring, very professional, and he built my confidence exceedingly. We were kind of gasping at how much we were spending on this, but I talked to my niece whose brother was a plumber and she had Bath Fitter to her bathroom. That’s a high recommendation that this woman who had a plumber in the family, who I’m sure could have done it for a whole lot less, was like “Nope”. She had been very happy with her thing.

    The man who actually came to do the installation came when they said they were going to come which is kind of rare with some. He ripped out our old tub and shower. He knew how to do the carpentry, replace any plumbing that needed to be replaced, and do all the fitting. We liked the idea of that because having done some other DIY projects on our own, we knew we needed somebody that could do it all. He was very workmanlike and he did it quickly. They gave us a certain time when they said it was going to take to make our tub surround and it was done a little bit quicker than we thought. It was installed in November. We were having guests for Thanksgiving and we were like, “Thank god it was done”.

    There's a lot of misunderstanding about what the product is because there are so many people around that just come in and fit plastic over your existing tub. So, I like the reassurance that the liner that’s going to fit into the bathroom is specifically built for the house and that the measurements are very meticulous. And it has a custom access, so not just somebody slamming some plastic thing around an old beat up, dirty tub.

    Also, I loved that when they open up the wall and if there’s any plumbing that needs to be fixed, they do that. If there’s any of the woodwork stuff that’s showing any damage, they replace all that. And they just didn't do cosmetic things, it was a complete refinishing of what needed to happen in order to make a product last. I know what a nightmare remodeling projects can be but they were very reassuring. We have a second bathroom that we’re going to have to do sometime in the future and we’re certainly going to use them again.

    I love what Bath Fitter did to my bathroom. I had my tub and shower combination removed, and I had a stand up shower put in. Their sales rep was wonderful. Then we planned on having the items installed by Christmas but we had all these storms. Also, I wanted the best so they had to make a special order for everything I ordered. And when they were going to put the products in, I was going to be on vacation so I wasn’t going to be around. We finally got the installation done sometime the end of January and the installer, Zach, was great. He told me everything he was doing and he was super. I would have him back at my house for anything. I'd recommend Bath Fitter and tell my friends exactly how it worked for me. I'd also tell them that they're welcome to come and look at my bathroom.

    I was told it wasn't going to pool water. I was told It wasn't slippery, I've had to catch myself from clonking my body & head at least 20 times since installation. Had to have one tile piece reglued all within a year of having it. Installation broke my marble shelf. Make sure you let them know what you don't want to lose. I actually would recommend going to the showroom & also making comparisons with other companies prior to purchasing. Don't take the word of the salesperson who comes to your house. It costs a fortune & is really slippery. Only thing I don't have the mold any longer.

    I love the house we purchased a year ago but the people who owned the house before us weren’t the most honest people in the world. And they spray painted with an epoxy the bathtub. And they told me that they had Bath Fitter come in. But that’s not true. They put before the epoxy setup then put a tub mat in and it hadn’t cured yet, so when one pulls up the tub mat, epoxy came up. It was a horrible mess. And I love my bath. I love to soak in the tub. And I couldn’t do it unless I had a mat in the tub. Otherwise, it was like a permanent rough non-skid. I went to Lowe's and I priced out a bathtub, and I called them to see about installation and they didn’t do installation.

    We have a gentleman that does home repairs around the house for us. And I asked him about installing a new tub for me but he didn’t do it and he said, “Why don’t you call Bath Fitter?” So, I figured, what do I have to lose, I’ve got this tub I can’t stand and can’t enjoy. I called Bath Fitter and a guy came out, talked to my husband and I, and the price was right, for the tub and the work. And they said they could have it done in one day. And it wasn’t the overlay that Bath Fitter does. It was removing the tub and putting in a new tub, new drywall behind it, the whole nine yards. I’m going “Okay, if they can do it in one day I’ll be amazed.” Two gentlemen showed up at 7:30 in the morning. One guy was a trainee, and by 3:30 that afternoon, I had a new garden tub, in my bathroom.

    That was about a month ago and I love the tub. It's a basic creamy white and glistening tub. Sometimes, I just go in and sit on the ground and stare at it. I’m 70 years old, and I had them put in two grab bars. One on the side and one in the back, and my daughter went, “Mom, ain’t that kind of high for you to get in and out of right now?” It’s high enough that if I can’t lift my leg over, I can sit on the side of the tub, hold the grab bar and swing in. I fill the tub up with hot water and liquid bath salts with lavender, lean back and just soak.

    I just haven’t gone out to Bed Bath and Beyond to buy a bath pillow for it but it is the best experience. This included new plumbing, new fittings, new shower head, new shower curtain rod. I finally used the shower for the first time and it was amazing. I could adjust it very easily to three different settings. And now, I really love my house. Plus when we or my daughter sell our house in the future, what we paid for the tub increased the value of our house because of the lifetime warranty. They did an excellent job. It was amazing and it worked. My sister had Bath Fitter too. I would’ve done it in my old house as well.

    I wanted to remodel and Bath Fitter sounded very efficient. Their sales rep was very polite and well-informed. I bought a shower surround and a tub from them. One installer got it all done and he seemed to know what he was doing. And I was pleased with it. But the edging around the top of the tub surround was loose. I commented on it that day and he said he needed to tighten it but I noticed it was not. Then I noticed that in putting in the surround, he scraped some of the popcorn. There was a bit of damage to the paint texture. I had a new ceiling put in in the kitchen, so I have the seal and the paint and I'm going to fix that. Bath Fitter was very expensive but still, I'd recommend them.

    My daughter recommended Bath Fitter. She had one done. She said it had a lifetime warranty and that they came in and did it and left. And everything was good. I purchased the shower. A rep came by the house and did a consultation. He was very nice and informative. He answered all the questions I had about it. The installer did an excellent job as well. He had it in in a day, but he came back to finish up and put a caulking stuff around it. He had left my shelf at the place. So we had to come back to install the shelf. But a day and a half were all it took him to finish.

    However, they really need to put something down that is really not slippery because my daughter’s father-in-law slipped down and broke his shoulder. And then my daughter also said it's really slippery. She had to keep something down there. But they didn’t recommend putting stuff down there. So that would be my only critique of how to improve it. They need to make sure that they had something that’s not slippery especially for older people. I called back to see what my daughter could do and she said they told her that they had some kind of spray stuff, but it would be $348 for them to come back and spray it. And she couldn't afford that. I had to put up one in.

    Had installation of tub/shower on Feb 2 when technician noticed there was a part missing from my new shower spout. Said Bath Fitter would call to come out and replace missing screws. (Not even sure why paid extra for the Moen shower kit) Waited two weeks. Nobody called so I called Bath Fitter for one week straight. Took three messages in one week for Christina to call me back. Set up an appointment for technician to come out he said the item was defaulted and needed to order a new one and it should be in in a few days and Bath Fitter would call me to reinstall again. Well guess what. Two weeks again and no word from Bath Fitter. I guess I will try calling them again. They don’t seem to care once they have their money. It is March 14 and still have not used my shower.

    Had a 6:30 PM consultation on 3/9, I received a call 5 minutes prior to appointment. Representative sounded halfway asleep saying they had to reschedule because the person Scheduled to come out was still at their prior appointment. Appointment was rescheduled for 3/12 at 6:30. At 6:52 still no one so I called Bath Fitter and was put on hold twice for about 10 minutes each time. Representative came back to the phone stating the representative couldn't make this appointment either but I could reschedule. I state no thanks because this is bit of an urgent situation and can’t keep rescheduling. The representative was basically like, "Ok..." Thumbs down and I would never recommend. It took them two days to install. However, the shower is almost too big and the links of it could have been less. If I had known maybe I would have tried to have gotten a linen closet, but it’s okay.     My bathtub was desperately needing attention for well over four years due to the chipping from an applied paint that I put on it when I purchased my home six years ago.     We looked at some of the works that Bath Fitter showed on their TV ad and then I happened to see a demo that they had set up at the Shady Maple Farm Market and thought it didn’t look too bad. We called their number and they sent a salesperson out. When he came in, he gave us the usual sales pitch, had all the sample stuff, and gave us various options to do things. I'm pretty satisfied with that and my wife was very happy with it. Also, since we were looking for somebody that could work on our summer place down at the shore in a timely fashion and, with Bath Fitter, it seemed convenient that we didn’t have to get through a whole bunch of extra work to get it done, we proceeded working with them.

    One guy came for the installation and I have never seen a guy that was as industrious working as he was. Having had individual contractors do things for me in New Jersey, I knew that you don’t find very many good ones like him. He took the existing bathtub and tiles that were there. He also put new tiles on the walls, a new liner in the bathtub, and new fixtures. We're very happy with the job that was done and it really looks nice. Additionally, I was pleasantly surprised when the installer said that Bath Fitter guarantees everything and if we have any problems all we have to do is call and they will fix it. I would recommend Bath Fitter. It's been two months since our purchase and our experience has been very good. Hopefully anybody else that would contract with them would have the same kind of experience and be lucky enough to get the same kind of installer that we had.

    What they would do, the time meant for it, and what was all involved made me decide to go with Bath Fitter. We got a walk in shower from them. After I called them, the representative that came out went over some of the process they’re going to do. I felt that was easy to be done because I couldn’t go without that particular bathroom for a long period of time. They gave me a short time window. I really liked it that it was completed in a time frame that I was hoping that would be completed. I just like the process that they had set up. Instead of tearing up my place, they minimize it when they do it up. There were very attentive to the what they were doing, making sure that they kept the place clean as possible.

    A customer service representative came out and gave me an overview what it would cost, telling me what the measurement was. Someone else from company came and did the part re-measurement, and he explained everything. He also gave me some alternative I could use that’s most beneficiary and no fuss. We selected the product and he worked with us in the selection. One thing that I regret is I would like to have another corner caddy. I thought two was going to be there but after we signed the contract, they came out and started installing only one. I wanted a corner caddy by the bench they have inside the shower.

    The work was very professionally done. Periodically, I walk to the bathroom just to see how far they had come along. While the guys were waiting and bringing the parts in from the truck, one of them went over the project of what they have done, what they are planning on doing, what time they’re going stop working, what time they’re going to come in the next morning. Just things like that, pretty much all I had to do with it. When they got to the point when someone else was needed, one of them said he had another team partner to come in with him, and he was just as good. I didn’t see any change in their professionalism. They were very easy to talk to and were very respectable.

    Bath Fitter exceeded our expectations. The things that I thought maybe looked complicated, they didn’t have a problem with it at all. My wife and I were very pleased with their work and their professionalism. I would ask friends to give Bath Fitter a call. For instance, sit down, and explain to the rep what they would like to have done, let him give them an overview of what they would do and how long it would take. The rep can tell the line of the product, how easy it would be to maintain, getting parts each number of years. People can explain it to them where they would understand it, and people would know exactly what they are getting before they even purchase their product. They did an excellent job for me. I have recommended them, and I definitely would highly do so to any person who would contact me about it.

    At Thanksgiving we left our number for Bath Fitter to call us. Christmas we finally heard back from them and met with the sales rep. Even though we felt the cost was extremely high, we agreed that they had what it would take to fix our bathroom so that I could use my bathtub without the chaos and stains that come with a ceramic tub. I have severe back problems and in order to allow me to live without pain medications, I rely on hot baths. Well, they sent a gentleman out to measure one weekday. OK. That was literally 3 months ago now and the day finally came for our installation. Day 2 off work. We were assured multiple times by the salesperson back in December that our tub would be out of commission only one day and maybe 2 IF and he said absolutely only if there were a problem. Whelp. That went down the drain when the technician came and ripped apart the existing plumbing, busted up the tiles and went to try to install the new tub.

    The new tub did not fit. Now I am extremely agitated. I called Bath Fitter only to be told that I would need to be called back and it would only take a few moments. An hour and 20 minutes later, I finally give up and call them back again. The lady on the phone apologizes but offers no solutions. When I insisted that something must be done, she passed me off to the manager who again apologized and offered $500 off my installation. Now let me tell you why this offends me. The technician left my bathtub inoperable with no shower and covered up with a black trash bag and glue all over the remaining wall. So now, my back is killing me without a way to soak it as it was my only bathtub. One would think that is upsetting enough, but he left big holes in my wall where he removed plumbing and where do you think that leads to? The crawl space. And a crawl space is not sealed.

    Now I went to my bathroom this morning only to see a ROACH crawling into my house from the crawlspace!!! REALLY? And I know for a fact that snakes find their way into crawlspaces during cold weather. I am extremely upset. I am offended. And I am in pain and Bath Fitter thinks knocking of a measly $500 from a project that is projected to be close to $5,000 is sufficient? That is not even considering also that we are now looking at scheduling DAY 3 off of work so they can come and attempt to install the tub again when it is ready. Completely unacceptable. $500 doesn't even cover the time off of work let alone the pain and the bugs from holes in my walls. I will not suggest Bath Fitter to anyone for any project.

    Updated on 04/26/2018: This install was a mess up from beginning to end. From the salesman not informing me of all of my options and ordering the plain most basic insert to lying to me about the pressure promised from a showerhead. Next the tech that measured the tub measured it wrong. This means that when the installer came to install the tub, he put holes in the wall to get to the plumbing and covered the existing tub with the black tar and THEN found out that the tub was measured wrong and the bathtub would not fit. This left me with huge holes in my walls leading to the crawlspace for bugs to come into my home (which I personally witnessed). It also left my one bathtub home with NO bathtub and my having a bad back that requires soaking daily.

    Now to resolve that problem Bath Fitter offered me $500 off of my $5,000 total. Turns out they couldn't even do THAT correctly. The bill came in yesterday on my credit card and the entire amount was charged. ALL day I have called to speak to someone and seems they have more meetings at Bath Fitter than they do in the White House because the manager won't come to the phone to correct the problem. I am at my wit's end and I am fed up with a company that cannot train its employees OR stand behind its word!!!

    I had Bath Fitter's installed in 2007. It was beautiful and loved it. Now 11 years later my tub has lost its shine and a piece of trim has a 2 inch crack on it. When I phoned my local location. I was told the cleaner I was using no longer is approved. So not sure how I'm suppose to know that it was okayed when I started with my tub. So to have someone come and buff it not guaranteed would be over 160.00. The trim is also not covered both things under normal wear and tear. The trim piece would be an extra 69.00 for a piece that probably costs 10.00 to replace. So when they say things are all guaranteed as long as you own the house. Beware they will just soak you some more for an already expensive makeover.

    I learned about Bath Fitter from the commercials and decided to give it a shot. While the installation and final product was fairly expensive, I went ahead with the tub surround, new fixtures, and plumbing. I wanted it done correctly, you pay for quality. The initial install went horribly, the contractors arrived around 8:30 am and were still working at 10 pm, we had to beg them to leave. It took almost 2 weeks to get them to come back and finish the work, and we were still missing drain pieces they didn't have in stock.

    I called about the missing parts and was hung up on by local manager Ed **. As of this complaint I still do not have what I paid for, and have had to write this review, in addition to calling corporate for resolution. The work so far looks great, but good luck dealing with them if you have any issues. The contractors it seemed were very worried that they were unable to complete the job by 10 pm, they wanted to stay longer. I got the feeling there would be some backlash from the company if they did not complete in one day. I am literally horrified that AFTER spending almost 6,000.00 for a service I would be hung up on.

    I bought a shower from Bath Fitter about a month ago. The sales representatives was good and the installer was excellent. I was happy except for lift at the base of the shower which should have been higher because I can't get a shower curtain or liner. They provided me one but it's way too short. If I reach down, I got to be really careful on the shower. Other than that, they did a good job.

    I wanted to let others know that if you are looking to convert a tub/shower to an easy access shower for an elderly loved one, this is your company! I needed a one day turnover as a remodel that would go on for days, would have caused too much anxiety for my 92 year old mother!     The concept is great, but the execution was horrible. My experience with Bath Fitter was several years ago (maybe 7-8) but it was the WORST I’ve ever had with a service provider. Issues: (1) Tub didn’t fit correctly to begin with. Didn’t realize it until first shower at which time we realized the base of the tub did not rest on the old tub... it was too high. To use an apt description from another reviewer, it felt a little like a trampoline as the floor of the tub would raise on your right foot when weight was put on your left foot. Shifting weight to your right foot caused your left foot to raise. The response from Bath Fitter was (paraphrased) “sorry but you signed the ‘project completion’ form, so our work is done.” They refused to either acknowledge the problem, let alone fix it.

    (2) We has marble on the walls surrounding the tub which we wanted to retain, which was fine with Bath Fitter. However, after installation, water was getting in between the overlay tub and the original tub. In combination with (1) above, we could hear a squishing sound every time we took a shower as the base of the tub moved up and down with weight shifts... and the water that got under the tub was building and had no place to go. Disaster!

    (3) To Bath Fitter’s credit, they sent someone out. However, the service tech informed us they would drain the water “this time” (which he did by removing the drain and squishing the water down the drain), but warned us (paraphrased), “next time you’ll have to pay $70 for each service call.” He went on to say, “we only guarantee against this if you also purchase our walls”. Honestly, I understand this idea... but I wish the Sales Rep had alerted us to this potential issue at the beginning. But he (the Sales Rep) was only interested in making the sale. Screwed. (4) We asked the Service Tech about the tub mis-fit and just shrugged his shoulders, saying we needed to call the office (which, of course, we had already done, receiving the response of essentially “tough luck... you already signed the completion certificate”.

    (5) Sadly, when the Service Tech removed the drain to drain the water beneath the tub overlay, he didn’t re-install the drain properly. The result: 3 weeks after his visit, we began seeing drips on the Living Room ceiling below the tub. Those ‘drips’ ultimately became a gusher, causing the Living Room ceiling to disintegrate, crashing down on top of (and ruining) the plasma TV directly below. (6) Bath Fitter's response was predictable: They simply avoided the whole thing, with the person in the office saying (verbatim), “I’m sorry, but none of this is our responsibility as you signed the ‘completion agreement’ and our Service Tech didn’t charge you anything so we had no ‘service contract’ with you.” Today, thankfully, all is well.

    I had to get someone in to demolish and take out the underlying cast iron tub (along with the piece of mis-fitting acrylic junk Bath Fitter sold me) and, fortunately, will never, ever have to struggle with that company again. More importantly, I have been able to successfully convince six other people who had initially signed contracts (or were intending to sign) with Bath Fitter... and perhaps 10-15 others (with NO exaggeration) who were considering Bath Fitter... to look and/or go elsewhere. I’ve simply told my story and most people are horrified.

    I feel I was SO, SO wronged by these people that I will continue to speak up whenever given the opportunity with everyone I know. Which, of course, is why I’m sharing my experience with whoever reads this site’s reviews. There have been a number of BathFitters commercials running recently that promise a “lifetime guarantee”. This only gets me angry every time I see it. My advice (in case you can’t guess): Avoid these people/this product at all cost!

    Updated on 05/02/2018: A follow-up note to my negative review of Bath Fitter dated March 7, 2018: In my previous review, I simply told my story/experience with this company. If one reads my experience, one should appropriately walk away with several very good reasons to not even get close to touching this company with a 20-foot pole. Predictably, Bath Fitter followed-up my comments with a response of their own: "March 30, 2018 Bath Fitter response. Hi Kevin, thank you for bringing this to our attention, we are looking into this situation and will reach out to you privately for more information." Sounds good...nice that the company is concerned, as they should be. Problem is, of course, that it's all BS (as one might suspect).

    First, Bath Fitter's comment that they "will reach out to you privately for more information" sounds great. But as one might guess, I haven't heard a thing...so don't be fooled by their comments designed to APPEAR as though they truly care. Their actions say they don't. Second, their comment doesn't even pass the 'common sense' test. HOW could they reach out to me privately if they have no idea how to contact me??? Leaving the 'impression' that the company is concerned when they have NO way to "reach out to you privately" is, at the least, a disingenuous public comment, simply designed to APPEAR as though they're responsible citizens. But it doesn't take an Einstein to know that their response only serves to support my past experience that they will say one thing...but do another.

    In my previous review, I didn't even bother to drag in my neighbor who had a similarly 'disappointing' experience with this same company more recently. While my experience is behind me, he's still dealing with this company's dishonesty. I am heartened to see that since I wrote my previous review on March 7th, 38 people have rated it 'helpful'. THIS additional 'review' is being written only to notify everyone of Bath Fitter's disingenuous 'response' to my negative review, which further strengthens the veracity of my original comments. To summarize: These people simply cannot be trusted. And their recent inaction (contrary to their words), while no surprise to me, is public for all to see. In short, fellow consumers, YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!!

    I love my experience with Bath Fitter. They took my bathtub out and put a shower in all in one day. The Bath Fitter sales representative who came to my house was great, knowledgeable, and very polite. I knew I was going to do my bathroom before she came in the door as I'm getting older and a shower would be a better avenue for me to go than having another bathtub. I really didn’t need the bathtub that much anymore, anyway so I thought it would be good, and I had a leak into my basement from old tub. The installation was done by one guy who was very professional and knew what he was doing. He came in and started working at about 8:45 in the morning and he was done and rolling out the driveway by 1:45 that afternoon. He did what I wanted to do and the quality of the work done was very good. Bath Fitter did it so quickly and I was very pleased. I've had a number of people asked me about them already and one is actually thinking about it.

    Bath Fitter is on television all the time and our bathtub was really bad and we’re older, so we decided we really didn’t need a tub anymore and we’d just get a shower. We contacted them and they came over and took everything we needed. Then they came over and measured later, and they came and did the job. They cleaned up their messes too.We’re very happy and satisfied we got it done. It lightens up our bathroom and it makes it safer for us.

    They did have a little problem, but it was nothing that couldn’t be taken care of. Their sales rep was good. He told us what we needed to know and gave us the price. He told us how long it would take and he was not pushy and that’s one thing that I really liked. And then it was probably eight weeks before they could get to it, and I’m glad because we didn’t want him running in and out too much when it was zero weather. But other than that, we’ve been very happy with him. Another thing, they didn’t have the Discover card, which we use, but they were able to accommodate that and we’re really happy about that because that’s about the only credit card we use. I’d recommend them to a friend.

    I've been in construction for almost my whole life. I was renovating a bathroom and I was walking through the mall, and I saw a guy from Bath Fitter doing a display. I talked to him about getting somebody to come out and give me a price. I normally do all my renovations but I'm feeling too old these days. They came out and kept me from having to walk up and down the steps 800 times with tiles and tubs. The salesman who came out was nice, no-nonsense and gave me a price. It was in the budget area we were looking to spend so we went with it. They measured and did all that stuff so everybody that came out and I dealt with was totally fine. They were also very professional.

    We got the tub makeover where they put the tub on top of the other tub and then smooth around. They also did the corner thing for the soap and shampoo and then the new fixtures and shower head, then did the shower curtain bar. I initially signed everything in December and it took three or four weeks for everything to happen after that. There was one installer and he was professional as well. He cleaned up everything when he was done and explained everything. Also, customer service called me one time to see how everything was as a follow up. Bath Fitter's service was a little pricey for what they did, but it's hard to put a price on wear and tear on my body at the same time. I probably would have been able to do that renovation myself 15 years ago for one-third of the cost but there's certainly a market for it. Overall, it was a good experience.

    Our one-piece was about 25 years old and we thought it was going to break down. So we wanted to do a remodel and going with Bath Fitter was the simplest way of doing it. The sales rep came right to our house and went over everything with us. Then a guy came and measured up everything and then they called us back when they had the installation date. They were very friendly and very helpful. They fit a new tub and then the seamless walls. Then all the shut-off and the shower head were put in. The installer got it done in one day. He did a really good job. He was here 10 in the morning and was done by 6PM. Everything has lifetime guarantee so if we have any problems with anything, the installer told us we can give him a call then they'll set up a time and come replace it. Bath Fitter is a great company and I would recommend them. They were very professional and had excellent rapport with the customers.

    I saw Bath Fitter at a home show and I liked their product. Bath Fitter has a superior product as well as the other companies I looked at, but they are less expensive. I wound up having them take out my bathtub and put in a surround shower about three months ago. There were shelves, special doors, seats and grab bars installed as well. Every interaction I had with the salesperson was wonderful. I was happy from the first person who came in, to the guy who came out to measure, to another guy who came out before they were gonna do the install and sat down with me to make sure everything I was interested in was being covered, right on down the line until the actual installation and the final discussion with them.     We had an odd-shaped tub and I thought at first that Bath Fitter could just cover it, but they ended up having to tear it down. This was about three months ago. Our situation was different -- we had a tub and then expandable in shower, and there were different and crazy angles. Jacob from the Clive City area, the rep we worked with, was fine, and the installer who did both had to do a lot of custom fitting and did an excellent job too. The sales manager, on the other hand, told us things that when the installer came, was not the way we expected it.

    We once had a situation where the water spout would not work. It was too short and they re-ordered one that worked out excellent. But, we had to wait for it, and they put the short on and ordered the correct one. It was not their standard one, so they had to order a special one and they came and fixed it just fine. It took about 3 weeks just to find that longer spout. I thought it was going to be three days but it ended up being longer.

    June 18, 2018. Today Bath Fitter came to my house and installed a new tub overlay, wall and fixtures. They also installed new wallboard where needed and a new valve. The technician was very professional and did a great job. I commend and appreciate Bath Fitter of Ft. Myers for coming back for this installation. I would recommend them to any of my friends.

    Original Review: Feb. 25, 2018

    First, their new bathtub was measured incorrectly and installed over my old tub. If it was measured correctly and fit correctly over my old bathtub, I would have to problems now. They were told of my concern within a few days and they sent someone out to look at it. When you walk on it it sinks down in spots like a trampoline. The technician said I needed a new one and stated he would notify his supervisor. A month later I still had not heard from anyone at Bath Fitter of Ft. Myers, FL. Original install date was Dec. 16, 2017. Had to call them up in Jan. 2018 and ask for a correctly measured bathtub. They said they would re-install on Feb. 12, 2018.

    When the technician arrived he said he didn't feel comfortable installing new tub, my walls were too weak and would be ruined if he attempted installation. I agreed with him and he said he would call his supervisor for an estimate to fix walls (drywall that needed it) along with tub and new wall installation. He came back with two prices, one for a plain acrylic wall ($700) and one for a patterned wall ($850). Both were to have new drywall installed (in areas that needed it) new acrylic wall with the correctly measured tub. The technician said the Supervisor was giving me a good deal because they had screwed up the original tub installation. Which they did. I want to say at this point if I had the correct tub installed the first time I would not have complained at all.

    I agreed with the technician at this point to accept the new prices for the extra work and he stated someone would come by soon so that I could fill out the new paperwork. When the salesman arrived his first estimate was for $2400. for new acrylic wall, new drywall work installed where needed and correctly measured (hopefully) bathtub installed. He should have known what the supervisor and technician said to me before coming to my home. I rejected this out of hand. He called his supervisor at this point and came back with an estimate of $1250. I rejected this as well. I want the offer that was given to me by the technician thru the Supervisor- $700 for plain acrylic wall or $850 for a patterned wall either with new drywall installed (where needed) and correctly measured tub. I'd like them to keep their word that they gave to me through their technician on Feb. 12.

    I can't give this company a good review at this time. They have dishonest with me and may be dishonest with the next customer. If they had installed a correctly measured tub the first time I wouldn't have had a problem. But as of right now I still have an incorrect tub installed in my main bathroom with no sight of getting the correct one installed.

    I researched the website and made a few calls and Bath Fitter seemed to have pretty good track record. They ended up putting an actual liner, an insertion bathtub about three weeks ago. Everything went fine and the installers did really well too. I've been a contractor for a long time and I have to say that I couldn’t have asked for a better experience.     My old neighbor did it with Bath Fitter and they were happy with it. We went to the store after we have heard from our neighbor and the rep whom we dealt with was a very good salesman. He showed us all of them and they seemed to be perfect for us. We didn't like the old ones because of the grout, the tiles and because cleaning was a big problem. But with Bath Fitter, you don't have to worry about any of that and they live up to their advertisements.

    The other thing I was very impressed about was that there were a few problems with the installation and they were really good backing up their product. If anything goes wrong, they were right out there. The same thing happened with our neighbor and they were right out to fix his too. There was some problem turning off the shower and they sent out this really neat plumber and he fixed it. It was a weird thing so he was really good. The door on the shower also came off and they sent their main guy out. Bath Fitter has been a great experience for us. Compliments to the people at Bath Fitters down on the biggest marine office.

    Very slow to process produce. We’ve already ordered and paid half of total cost as a down payment. If I have known that it will take more than 6-8 weeks to manufacture the tub, I wouldn’t have ordered it. It took over 8 weeks to install a new bathtub at our rental. We were satisfied with the end result but had to spend more than two days with the installer to make sure that they did a good job. Customer service was terrible, rarely return our calls.

    I had a very good experience with Bath Fitter. We heard an advertisement on TV and we had our bathroom done with the tub in my house here in Wenonah. We were down the shore and there was a little festival going on and there was a guy standing there with pamphlets and you get 10% off. So, I said, “Okay.” We have a shore property and I said I’d like to put a shower in the master bath, and that’s how it all came about. They came over, gave us an estimate, and then we had it done. They did my stall shower and they did a beautiful job. They cleaned up and were very nice. I have nothing but good things to say about Bath Fitters. They were all very nice and helpful. They told me what I needed to do and if I had any questions I called them. Everything worked out well.

    We have the tub and the whole thing and we’ve had that for a while. We had called Bath Fitter one other time for them to come out. There was a black mark we couldn’t get off, and they had to caulk it. They came right out and no problems so it was very good. When they say they’ll come out and do whatever for lifetime, it’s the truth. We really like that. Bath Fitter may be a little bit more money, but it’s worth it in the long run because they do a beautiful job. They’re in and out of the house within a day and a half, they clean up, and if you have any problems they’re gonna come back and help you. They’re really a reputable company and you could really trust them.

    I had seen advertisements about Bath Fitter before. So, when I was up at the state fair last summer, I stopped at the first state because they had a booth. I got some information and signed up to have them give me a call. But I was annoyed because I specifically told the seller at the trade show that I don’t want a call until after Labor Day. And I got four calls. I was irritated because we were not going to be moving into this house until that weekend and I didn’t want to be bothered with it. I couldn't come in and have the measuring process because we didn’t have possession of the house. But that was the only negative experience.

    When the salesman came out, he was nice and he did the measuring process. Other than sitting at the table and talking to him about the product and measuring, we talked about the process and it was pleasant. He was very informative and he didn’t lead us astray. I was surprised by the price but we went ahead and did it and we really like the shower that we had them install last fall. The installation went fine. The guy was in and out and the process went on for two days, but he just added some things to finish that second day. It was a smooth and easy experience and we liked the product. We were satisfied.

    After I was in the showroom in Avenues Mall my husband and I decided to make an appointment. We got our appointments yesterday at 5:30 pm. To make a long story short after an hour perfectly from the book sales conversation, we measured and finally get a price. 10.156.00$. We ask for time to talk about this because it was almost 3000$ more than we thought we will spend on one bathroom, we get told no we have to put a deposit of 200$ down for hold the price for 30 days, or we lose it forever. We have to make a decision now, or we be in the system of Bath Fitter and not eligible for any discount in the future. I was on this site before I choose to make an appointment and got mislead with all the great reviews.

    Why I am not able to get the same price tomorrow what I would get today? Without paying for? I got told at least 20 times from the production line to the time it is installed it's always one company. In all your showrooms the walls get straight up but this comes with an over 700$ extra charge, why there is nowhere a standard version in your showroom? Needless to say we are really disappointed with this experience.

    I had one of the first tub overs and I had always been perfectly happy with it. It had held up through seven kids and a lot of years, with no problem with the doors. It was a good installation and it worked out fine. I liked the experience the first time around and that was why I called again. This time I wanted the tub taken out and I wanted the step-in. I'm getting older and I didn't want to play hop, skip and jump to get in and take a shower.

    I live in Northern Michigan, three blocks from Lake Michigan where we get all these severe storms in the wintertime and they were talking about sending somebody up to take a look and see what needs to be done. I told them not to do that. We were having a big blizzard and I didn't want somebody to die. We really didn’t want it done until April. I thought it would be a little easier if the weather was a little bit warmer. But it's March now and it has been a month now so it was a little premature. I had a hard time making somebody from out of the area understand what the roads get like here. That was my only gripe. Otherwise, the installation was perfect. The person did exactly what we wanted and he did a great job. It was done in a timely manner and they took care of everything that needs to be taken care of.

    We have a very old house and it would've been way too major to start removing the fittings and it seemed that Bath Fitter was the only solution. Their rep at the store and the tech who came out and did the measurements was very good. We got their bathtub and the surround installed and the final result is fine but the initial installation was shoddy so we had to call them back. There was a pipe extension I had that had been done in an open wall and we had the wall all opened so all they had to do was to put the unit in the extension. We were going to do the pipe extension ourselves but they said that if I do that then there will be no guarantee. We even had a brace board put up, ready to attach it but the tech didn't attach it. The whole fixture was wobbling around inside. We're no experts but we've done a lot of plumbing and it was a no-brainer to put a fastener and fasten the thing to the board.

    The tech knew what he was doing when it came to the installation of the tub and the vinyl but the plumbing stuff was iffy. After we had already ordered the tub, we talked with a friend of ours whose husband is a contractor for building homes. They had the similar situation where it would've been quite difficult to take the tub out so they went with Bath Fitter too and she told me not to go with them. The job was also done in a day, as what Bath Fitter had promised, so it was a bit rushed and they had to call Bath Fitter back about three times to fix things. But she said that they always came. Also we would've liked to purchase our own faucets and shower head because we found that the fixtures through Bath Fitter were very expensive but again they told us that if we did that there would be no guarantee.

    But overall my experience was very good. Everything was cleaned up and the fact that it was done in a day was very convenient. It might've been a bit rushed though. The tech worked longer hours than what he was planning to do. I want it done properly and we do a lot of renovations so I know what the finished result should look like and in the end, it did. The product now is absolutely beautiful and it's so easy to maintain. The house is 100 years old and the bathtub is probably one of the nicest things in there right now. We're very happy with what we have here now.

    I didn't have a lot of time to spend at home to have somebody do repairs. Also, my elderly mother lives with me and I didn't want all the fuss of carpenters going in and out so Bath Fitter was perfect for me. I had them install a shower stall and wall with headboard-type material in one bathroom in September, and a tub surround on the other in January and I love them. Their installers were very nice. They were also very clean. They put down a drop cloth to walk on and they cleaned up all the muss. Bath Fitter, however, is way too expensive. It'd cost an arm and a leg, but because I needed the things done so badly, I went ahead and did it. I highly recommend them if you can afford them.

    I complained about the shower repairs needed the middle of last year, and 4 contracts later (that have gotten progressively worse), the only thing Bath Fitter is worried is posts on social media and trying to get me to approve work before it is even performed. I was told by their "lawyer" in Canada that I can take it or leave it. I was also told by him when I asked if he was licensed to practice in the US that he gets his contracts done by someone down the street. The contracts have gone from no warranty to a 1 year warranty on the shower, but not on the workmanship or anything else, not responsible for mold was added once they realized that the damage is getting worse, and they are not responsible for the damage their shoddy workmanship has caused to the subfloor and the tile that has had water intrusion and causing it to break. It has been 2 months since I last heard from them and the email address I have for the local manager is no longer valid.

    I recommend Bath Fitter. I purchased a shower from them. I'm a single dad and it's a lot easier to have them do the remodel. The quote they gave me was cheaper than what I've heard it was going to be. The rep went through all the steps and they came out and measured a couple of different times to make sure everything's correct before the installers came. The installer was great and I'd recommend him to anybody, too. I was around all day when he did it. If he had any questions, he came and asked me before he did it the way he thought it should be done. But I had a little issue right after the installation. I got a cut in my shower curtain and before the warranty card was even in the office, they sent me a new one right away. That was a simple thing rather than them come all the way out.     My friend that I was touring with at the state fair had somebody else do his bathroom. My buddy Jack had some problems with adhesion. He had somebody come out and take a look at it from Bath Fitter’s. They said one of the problems with the adhesion of the tub lighter and he decided that he was not going to redo it. We had an existing tub and I was looking for this Bath Fitter approach. I always thought it looked nice and they were willing to come out and look at my situation and make recommendations. The fellow they sent out was Mark and he used to be a dental rep. I was a dentist before I retired and I bought supplies from him and he always treated me correctly.

    Mark looked at it and attested to the credibility of the company so I felt fairly secure with it and we came up with a design. He had some suggestions, then he also said he liked to have one of his associates come out and take a look at it, which he did. The fellow that was in charge of the installation made some suggestions that would improve the design of what we had and solve some of the problems so I was impressed with what he said and decided to have them do that. They put in a liner then also built an enclosure for it and had a covering on that. The fellow who put it in was meticulous about things. I was very happy with it and also very impressed with the quality of his workmanship. It went very well and he did a very nice job. I’m a very quality-oriented and he really exceeded my expectations. It took him two days to do my installation and when he was starting to clean up, I offered to do it because he was running late the second day.

    When my daughter Heather had been thinking about doing a remodel on her bathroom, I also sent Mark in to talk to her and she also decided to go with them. It also turned out very nicely. Each of the four different people in their organization that I dealt with was very knowledgeable and straightforward. One of the heads of the installation made a couple of trips and I thought they were very picky but I understand now after seeing the installation and talking to Jack about some of the issues he had. Bath Fitter hired people that seem to be credible and present themselves well. I’ve given recommendations and everybody who saw it feels like it was well done.

    I had Bath Fitter into our home in Phoenix Arizona. There was a lack of communication on the removal of the old tub surround. I called customer service and they suggested that we should continue to remodel the bathtub and tub surround so we could have a completed, useful tub. They stated that they would replace the complete unit as soon as the replacement came in which was in about 2 weeks.     Bath Fitter did the wall surrounds for me in 2012 and I liked the work. My brother also had work done by them and he was in love with his bathroom. I called them again and they installed a tub and wall surround in December. All of their reps were very knowledgeable and told me exactly what to expect including the cost. They walked me right through the process and did wonderfully. Their installer was prompt and very courteous. He got the job done and explained how to take care of it once the install was done. Then they had to come back because it was a total tub install. They took the old tub out and put in a shower pan instead of the tub. I would use Bath Fitter again if I need to.

    I was visiting my brother in Indiana and he had just gotten his bathroom shower and tub retrofitted by Bath Fitter. I was in need of having something similar done to my home in North Carolina and liked what I saw and my brother recommended looking into Bath Fitter. When I returned home I contacted the Raleigh office of Bath Fitter and they sent their salesperson out for an estimate. While meeting and signing contract with sales rep. he mentioned that there was a $100 referral payment if I had been referred by another customer. I filled out the form for the referral but the payment was never made to my brother. I have contacted the Raleigh office on multiple occasions but they cannot seem to locate the referral paperwork and said there is nothing they can do. Take a guess as to what my referral will be to anyone that I know looking for this type of service will be. GO TO REBATH.

    I placed the order with Bath Fitter on the 20th of November and they installed it on my home on the 24th of January. I took the tub and liner plus the all new faucets and side railings. The sales representative was really good. He explained everything, showed me things and then when he had completed all the paperwork and I asked him if I could change something, I could see the look on his face and I know what I would’ve said to me, but he still said that it was not a problem. And he made the correction for me so every bit was very good. The installer, Ron, was also incredible. I worked in customer service and I worked with CSRs before I retired and Ron cared as much about explaining things to customers. He would show me something then he would ask if understood. I did and he would show me again. I really enjoyed the experience. The first thing he did was lay down runners so that he didn’t make any mess in my home.

    When he took down the sliding door in the shower, he double checked with me before he leaves if I wanted to discard the door or not. He was an awesome person. When he came back to put the different shower head, he explained everything again so thoroughly. He took the time to tell me that when I clean the tub, I should not spray directly into the wall with the cleaner because just in case I leave it for a long time, I will get all these streaks. He also told me to put some water in the tub and then proceed from there. According to him, that would be the nicest way and the best way to clean the tub and walls. He enjoys the job and he likes to explain things properly. He is very confident in his work. I had a very nice, comfortable person in my home. I highly recommended him and I got people wanting to come over and see my tub.

    In October 2017, we had a new wall, window trim, tower and grab bar installed in our downstairs bathroom. Installer #1 took over 13.5 hours to install. He arrived at 8:30am and left at 10pm. Our family was going to bed. He took so long we fed him food because he barely ate. There were many plastic shavings embedded deep within the window sill partly covered by the new window trim that we could not clean, he dripped black primer on our bathroom floor and toilet that he did not clean, he threw away a part of our faucet handle, there were deep large gauges on the white grab bar and the end pieces were flopping about so he did not install them or silicone them in. That grab bar was over $200.

    At present, it took three separate visits by two more installers to address the installation issues. Parts had to be ordered. All parts received. Then not all parts were brought to the house because he forgot. Same guy came again, didn’t have a part again and said he had “no idea.” After many follow-ups by phone and e-mail this nightmare has not ended. We were told to purchase a new toilet seat cover back in November 2017 and submit our receipt for reimbursement. This was promptly done and we received an email in writing that our receipt was sent to head office and should take about one week to process. It is now February 2018 and the employee we dealt with is no longer there. So we had to explain all this context, from the beginning. The whole process has been frustrating, time consuming, tedious, just maddening. We feel very cheated because these are all the things OPPOSITE of what the Bath Fitter brand promises its clients.

    We did a little research at home shows for several years then I had Bath Fitter come out when the tub that we were looking to cover got really bad. From that point forward, I realized that was the right path. We purchased a cover for one of our tubs but not the whole wall unit because we had really nice tile that was in there. That was in December and it was our first time using Bath Fitter. There was a salesperson that came out and told us all about how it would fit. Then, another person came out and measured and, again, went through the whole process and made sure they had the right enclosure for it.

    The gentleman that came out to do the install was a different gentleman and it took him about five hours to do it. This is an older home so he had to cut the thing a little differently to fit around molding because the bathrooms were all added in the ‘20s, but the house was built five years before that. So he had a little more work to do than just a normal bathroom install and he did a beautiful job. It really brings the bathroom up as far as it doesn’t look outdated now. I was very impressed. I enjoyed working with Bath Fitter and it was a good experience. I'd recommend them and if I have another tub that goes bad, I would bring them back in for that.

    Somebody talked about a positive experience they had with Bath Fitter so, we went with them to do our shower. The sales was done in early November, and the work was done on the 21st of December. The sales rep came in the evening when we were both available. He said that he would put together a package and get back to us and he did. In addition, he was so kind that he stopped at the restaurant where I lost my sunglasses and asked them if they had found it when he was on his way home, and that was several days before he came to our house. He did that as a professional courtesy, but that was way beyond my expectations.

    The work was scheduled for the date, the installer showed up at 8:30 in the morning, went about doing his job and was here a little bit past 5:00 o’clock. He changed the plumbing connections because we had a leak. The door was also fixed which was the original thing that we wanted to get done. There’s a new door now and there is no leak, too. He also put a little shelf where I put soaps and shampoos at the corner, inside the shower. He loaded all the crap into his van and he said he got the work done in one day. He was professional and did a very nice job.

    The shower looks great and everything was done very nicely. The people who have used it were very complimentary as well. They thought everything looked and worked extremely well. On the other hand, the only thing I was a little bit unhappy about is the cost was based on the estimate. $6000 to do that job was based on two days of work, and the guy did it in one day. The cost was not anywhere near what they projected them to be. Other than that, they did a magnificent job and I had a positive experience.

    For the price and all the work that Bath Fitter did, going with them was a no-brainer. When they sat down and called people so we can hear their experience with it, the rep picked a random number and it was someone that I knew and she really liked hers a lot which made us feel better, too. We got a shower bathtub and the contractor was awesome. They had to reschedule once because the guy who was going to help him do it called off. They came back a week later but it was only that one guy and he ended up doing all the work of two men. He put everything together and was really fast and neat about it so it was great. The sales rep came to the house and he was great as well and he was patient and explained everything.

    The shower bathtub is very easy to clean. I was also telling a couple of people how I loved it and that the temperature doesn’t change if you flush the toilet or run the sink or the washer. Everyone seemed pretty impressed with that. It was also cool how we got to custom-make it because I got to have the armrest in the bathtub. A lot of people thought that was cool, too. And that’s seriously the way to go. Bath Fitter took care of any damage and there's a lifetime warranty.

    The pivot door installed by Bath Fitter (of Ocala) is difficult to open at the bottom. Glass panel at the side of the pivot door is reversed, the texture side is on the inside, should be on the outside like the door. Service tech said that is how it should be, I disagree, the panel should be the same as the door. We also had a complete shower installed in the other bathroom. The doors are glass sliding doors. They have a lot of play in them when you open and shut them. The door guide at the bottom has a lot of slack. Also the grab rail trim ring is loose and falls down. We had asked the technician to fix it before he left but he didn't. We did not have any follow-up after the install to see if we were satisfied.

    Bath Fitter installed a tub shell over our old tub about nine years ago. After nine years of little use we found the tub not draining and when the plumber tried to snake it he couldn't because the old drain rod had been left in the pipe. We called Bath Fitter to ask them to remove it which took many trips of having to cut into the old tub to get access to the plumbing and remove the old drain plumbing and rod and replaced with new plumbing. They also made a new access panel to get to the plumbing all without any questions about anything. Their standing behind their warranty and excellent service has been the best I have ever seen from a company. I highly recommend the company especially because they stand behind their products and their excellent service.

    It's hard to find a contractor who will follow through with what they say they're going to do. Bath Fitter had a good reputation, so we had them do our shower and tub. Shelly, our rep, was very active. She was very helpful and spent several hours in our house explaining the process to us. She was also here on the morning that they started construction. I was off work during the days I thought they were going to do the installation but they ended up coming the week after that. I wasn't able to see exactly what the installers did, but Shelly took pictures for me so I was able to see what happened. The installation took two days and a half for the two bathrooms and in one lunch time, I was able to come home. The two installers were very personable and they explained how it all works and what products I could use. I love what they did for us and I've already shown it to some of our neighbors.

    I bought this place that I'm in now and I had to totally redo it. I did not know what I was going to do about my bathroom, and my friend said, “We had Bath Fitter do our bathroom about three years ago. Come and have a look and see what you think.” I then went and I had a look at her bathroom and it was lovely. I had my bath covered, the back of the ceiling and also the corner things that are three each. The bath is exactly the same.

    However, it was difficult that the council would not let Bath Fitter open up the wall. It has got to do with the rules in the building and I was not really accustomed to them because I had just shortly moved in. We had to change what techs we could use and that was what we did. The sales rep was lovely. She came and there was no pressure. She explained herself very well and showed me all the product and how much everything was. She was very professional and I really was very impressed with her. My experience with Bath Fitter was first class. If I had to do it all over again, I would have them come and do it. I would recommend Bath Fitter.

    I will NOT use this company again. I had my shower remodeled in December 2017 by Bath Fitter of Deerfield Beach, Fl. The outcome was sloppy and I complained. I was told that a technician would fix the problem area and another service call was set for a few weeks later. The technician DID NOT show up at the scheduled time and when I called to inquire, I was told he was at another job and COULD NOT resolve my issue until 5 days later. I'm still waiting to have the issue resolved and it's now January 24, 2018. The cost of the service is expensive and the customer service is less than acceptable.

    We’ve seen Bath Fitter at a couple of different shows. We needed to upgrade the condo we were living in at the time. When we saw the demonstration, we just fell in love with the whole thing. We did the bath and a shower replacement that time. This fall, we sold that condo and bought another one. It was an older condo but of a higher grade. However, it badly needed replacements. We immediately thought of Bath Fitter. This time we had a tub shower unit put in the guest bath and it was awesome. We've had two different products and two different installers. The process was great. When we did the shower install, it took three days and two guys. The tub shower was done in a day by one guy, and it’s beautiful.

    This time we’ve gotten older, so we needed some handicap-type stuff. We were so excited. We had the same salesman, Gary, who is a cool guy. When he came in, we said that we're getting older and that we need security. He said, “That’s what they have. A drop-down seat.” We have this seat, and it is for seniors. We also have two grab bars and the fancy pearl collar. We got a Deluxe profile, but the outside of the tub looks like it’s sculptured. Then we did the surround all the way to the ceiling but he had a new design. It was different to what we had in our shower. This has a diamond pattern and it’s very colored. When you come down the hall and you look at it, it’s a beautiful color and design. They even give you a curved shower rod automatically with the package.

    I was thrilled because this condo is 25 years old and it's not senior-friendly. Moreover, I’m really short so I can’t even reach the showerhead. I like to use a removable handheld and they were willing to bring that showerhead down lower for me by seven inches. I was so grateful. Now it’s safe and really easy to use. I’ve used it for the last month just because it’s so pretty. If I wanted to take a shower at the same time I go use the guest room. I’ve always been afraid to climb into the tub because I’m short. However, the installer put the bar upright so it's easier. When I step in there, there is one on an angle that I can hold on to while I'm inside. Moreover, the surface is not slippery and has a safety tread. We’ve sent pictures all around to family and friends to say that if they're thinking about it, Bath Fitter has new stuff.

He gave us a rough estimate and we decided to go with it. The installers were very efficient. They took stuff down and cleaned up.     I’ve seen advertisements on television a couple times and when I decided to do something, I went with Bath Fitter. I was considering a local contractor to do the remodeling but my negative part about it was I didn’t want to do a complete tear down. So, I got the tub and shower combo from Bath Fitter. It had the tub liner and the shower walls then went with the shower rod up there. I also put in a grab bar and try to keep the soap scum around the certain areas of the door. I’ve had really good interaction with their sales representatives. He was very informative. He called me twice after I filed the initial purchase.

    Bath Fitter installed it in November and it was about an eight week wait. And some of the delays was my own because I wasn't ready for them to install it yet. I tore out the existing vanity and toilet and I wanted to have the new floor in before they install it because they run that seal along there. They could have done it three weeks earlier if I wanted to. The installer I had was a professional. When he came in, he talked to me at first about the installation and what was going to go on. Then, he goes out and he comes in with drop cloths and he had drop cloths from my door to the bathroom that he walked on. We also had a plumber because the law in the State of Illinois says that we should have one when there is any change in the bathroom. After the installation, the installer went over the warranty and told me how to keep it clean. The job was done professionally and I would do it again with Bath Fitter.

    Never use this outfit. Pay a contractor and deal with the inconvenience than use Bath Fitter. Cannot blame installer but the office people are a complete joke that even will lie to a customer. First install date given time of 08:00 to 10:00. Phoned at 10:15 told them had a dinner to go to & wanted to cancel he was taken too long to arrive. Was told "it was a 2 day install (had to rip out old bathtub & release) and that he was 10 minutes away". At 10:50 phoned again, got a different person who phoned installer and told me he had just got on freeway. It is a 40 minute drive from there. Told her cancel it and asked why I was lied to and I never want to talk to that guy again.

    Had it installed in January. Again given 2 hour window and at least this time he phoned at 10:05 to say he would be late - 11:00. Worked until 07:30 at night. Late again the next day so phoned office to asked why? Will not get into lame excuse I was given but am sure it was B.S. Anyways am not going to get into all the other issues (including they sent the wrong amount financed to finance company) just want to warn people. Stay away from them because they will tell you what you want to hear until they have your deposit and then look out.

    Bath Fitter is an excellent company to deal with. They are known throughout the US so I was not afraid that I would deal with a contractor who would "take me" and not do the work. The salesman was at my home on time. He measured my bath and surround and shower quickly. We were done within an hour. I was able to have 0% financing for 3 years to cover the cost of both the bath and surround and the shower. The workers showed up on the day and time that was scheduled. Their work was quick, neat, and well done.

    They cleaned up after themselves very well! I am DONE with tile showers and grout as well as one piece fiberglass showers and baths after living with both for years. This is a highly efficient, clean, carefree way of customizing your bath and shower. It is very cost efficient considering other options and how long they last before warping (fiberglass) and their upkeep (tile and grout). The best part is an install takes only one day! Kudos to Bath Fitter for their products and service!

    I got a tub and a shower with the grab bar from Bath Fitter. And it’s not as much or cheaper to hire somebody to put a tub and shower kit in but considering it’s a week-long process and the mess, Bath Fitter is more convenient. My sales rep, Frank, as well as the installers were very polite. They were here about 9:45 to 4:45 for the installation. They were very trained and they picked up after themselves. I even offered to get rid of the cardboard and the installer refused. He stuffed his van full with cardboard and styrofoam, and they put down ladders in the hallway all the way back. His feet never touched the carpet.

    It was a great experience. It was a little drawn out about 90 days from the time the salesman first came to the time it was finished. There was a lot of communication and it was quite a while that I almost wanted to change my mind. After the salesman was here, the next guy came and measured. A month or so goes by and the next guy laser measured and we had an email or two and then they said they'd be here the next Wednesday. Besides the drawn-out process, everything else was good. It’s a little expensive at 6300 dollars, with which I could’ve done my whole bathroom. But I got what I paid for and have done away with the mess and the week-long process. The installers were here nine hours and they were done and definitely recommendable a hundred percent.

    We just moved into our house and we got the bathroom redone by Bath Fitter. The rep that we talked to did well and presented us with it. The bathroom looks good and it's done well. However, the sliding door that we have now ain't half as good as what I had previously, which was heavy-duty. The new one is light duty that if you fall against it, you're going to knock the whole thing down. I also think that they charged me more than what I thought it's going to be. I don't think it's worth that much to redo a bathroom. I wouldn’t recommend anybody paying that much money just for them to get the bathroom redone. You can get a private people come in and get a whole wall and everything down for the price they charged me.

    The Bath Fitter sales rep answered every single one of our questions and showed us things that we didn’t even think about. My husband and I really enjoyed talking to her because she was very nice. She was also very good and professional, and we were very pleased with her. Everything sounded really great. We were very thrilled and we decided to go for it. My husband uses a walker and has a hard time getting around. We got the shower with the seat and the different bars for him.

    The installer came out afterward and asked us where we’d like stuff placed. He had my husband walk over and showed him what he thought would work. He covered everything before he even came in to walk to the bathroom. When he put in the drain underneath, he had that all covered in the basement. Even though the room in the base where he had to work was not finished, he still put stuff down. Everything was also vacuumed and cleaned up wonderfully. The products worked out marvelous. Not only did we get the shower head, but there’s an extension thing that goes right near the seat, so my husband could just sit there and shower. We are very pleased with them.

    I have an older home. My bath’s tiles were falling off the walls from a leak on the roof. I had plastic and duct tape where they had fallen and it didn’t look very nice. I’ve had a previous company come before, but it had too much demolition for me so I put it off. Then, when I was talking to my friend who had a Bath Fitter install, she recommended them. I felt comfortable so I had them do the tub and the wall.

    The Bath Fitter sales rep explained that they were the only ones with the wall that goes all around and has no seams. So, that was a plus. My other concern was when I put in a showerhead, there’s a square there where you have to go through to do the plumbing. But, they didn’t have to do that. The sales rep told me that the workers could access the plumbing when they pull the tile off. The installation team was great and very knowledgeable. They did what the sales rep said and I’m very much satisfied. No demolitions. I also like the look of the product. Pictures didn’t really do it justice. I’ve told my friends who are interested in remodeling their baths about Bath Fitter.

    We were at the mall in Decatur, Illinois and with the Bath Fitter rep was a display. We talked with the rep and they were informative and helpful. We were satisfied with looking and answering our questions. We had the old bathtub and we’re just interested in the possibility of not having the bathtub, but looking at a shower. It just seemed to be the time to change from having to step over an edge instead of over the old bathtub since we're a little bit older.

    The timeframe worked, and they got here quicker than what they thought they were going to be able to. They fit the floor and everything in, and the wall was very nice. They got into the opening that we had which most of the others wouldn't be able to do. Also, the guy was a diligent worker. There was some old trim that he worked with and I asked him whether or not it could be caulking put in there. He suggested it probably needed painting. But I would have felt good about putting some caulking in that area, and yet, it might not be where they usually do. Other than that, everything went well, we felt good about the whole operation and we have told other people about Bath Fitter.

    I looked at other ways of renovation and I felt Bath Fitter was the most economical way to go. I found them through a Home & Garden show in Bluefield. It was the first tub I purchased from Bath Fitter and I got it in November. The sales rep called once and we had a good interaction. Also, the installation team was professional. The guy that they sent to put the tub in was excellent. He had great communicating skills and he was really good. I'm pleased with Bath Fitter. They did a great work and I hadn’t seen any flaws yet. They have a good product and my friends just have to experience it themselves.

    I had the tub and shower surround about three weeks ago by Bath Fitter. The sales rep was very friendly and very professional. Then the installer came in and he proceeded to do the project, and it took him most of the day. I checked on them because I was interested in how they did it since I'm pretty handy.     I had Bath Fitter install a shower. They were recommended by the plumber who came out when we had a leak. The first person who came over to get our signature was fine, and the person who came out and did the work was outstanding. He was very precise and did a very nice job. It just took longer than we expected but he did the best he could. The pressure of the water is not nearly as it was in my old shower but other than that, everything is fine. I’ve already recommended them to a friend.

    We had a tub with a shower installed and Bath Fitter's approach is a customized cover as opposed to ripping out and replacing. They finished putting a tub liner and covering the walls a few weeks ago and everybody we dealt with was courteous, efficient and obviously very knowledgeable.     With Bath Fitter online, you can get an idea of what you want your bathroom to look like or, in my case, the shower that I wanted, and I liked what I saw. Their rep, Tommy, came out and he was very nice. I ordered the full shower and we did the paperwork. I gave him my downpayment and he told me how much I would owe. I was not going to have any problem in making the payment of $151.90 a month. But until after the shower was installed, I thought everything was supposed to start 30 days afterward. I was going to have a finance but nothing was explained to me about the finance company, who it was, how they operate or their finance charges, and that’s where I had a downfall.

    Nothing was said on the yellow sheet of the completion certificate or when we first started this. It said my monthly investment of $151.90 will begin approximately 30 days after completion but it doesn’t say I got an interest rate. I found out that the interest rate was 12.9% and I thought I had a heart attack. The credit union doesn’t even charge me that much. The finance charges would've cost me a total of $2,423 when I've been told I only owe $6,691.

    On top of that, I would be paying it off in 60 months. That’s five years. When I saw how much all this was going to add up to be, I said no. I would’ve paid almost $10,000. So I got a hold of my financial advisor and he suggested I cash out all my mutual funds to pay this thing off. What I had in my savings, I put that out first to pay it off. I called the finance company up and told them how that I was going to be sending the full amount of $6,691 that same day. But then I got a letter the other day and I thought I had a heart attack.

    The first letter I got just said my payment would be $151.90 a month, and where to pay online. The payout amount is $6,759.44 and good if received by 12/14/2017. I looked at check-out and it was on the 21st of November. It says here payment received as of last statement 11/27/17, $6,691. I found out that I still owe $31.08 and then $31.24 and then further down, it was $31.26. I felt like I was being taken advantage of. I called them and asked how come I still owe that money. I was told it was because I didn't pay it off right away when they were here. But I thought there was at least a 30-day grace period. I was told if I had paid in the full $6,691 that day, I wouldn’t have to pay that interest rate I was billed and that’s what I’m upset about. I called my financial advisor again and he told me to talk to them and find out why this was not explained.

    It’s the financing that I was upset about because nothing was said about the policy. It should be written on the contract. I’m a widow and this was one thing that my husband wanted me to have and when he died, I thought I was going to get it done. But I lost a lot of sleep over this and I sat in the living room looking at my husband’s ashes. If I was going to have any more problem, I would get a hold of my attorney but my financial advisor was thinking I should get a hold of the credit bureau or the Better Business Bureau. If the issue was $100 or more, then I would’ve really raised hell.

    I want people to have Bath Fitter though. They are really great people and they know how to do the work, especially the guy who did my bathroom. Gary was really good and very efficient. He took out the tub and then put a shower end. I really like what we have and I've enjoyed the shower. But I have told people that if they're going to have something done and they're going to finance, they should check the interest rates and charges before they do anything. They should also make sure they have some money for upfront because the finance charges are outrageous.

    Now, I can’t have my floors worked on because I’m scared. But I learned my lesson on some things. I’m going to be a little bit more cautious. Sure, I’m going to watch the demonstrator and listen to the representative, but I’m going to be asking questions. Plus if I have some work done, I’m going to make sure I finance it through my bank and not through a different company.

    Bath Fitter was recommended by somebody else, and I'd seen what they could do and I decided to give them a try. I'm a returning customer and I recently purchased the wall surround and a bathtub cover up, which they installed around Thanksgiving. The sales rep was fine, and he was the same gentleman I dealt with when I purchased the first one. One guy came and installed everything, and everything went okay.

    The only issue I had was with the original one they did before. When you turn it off, sometimes it drips constantly and you have to mess with it to get it to stop. I mentioned it a couple of times to the guy that did the installation and he said he'd make a note for the company to address the issue but I've never heard anything back from them. I was waiting for them because the holidays were here. But everything else was good. I'm very pleased with the product as far as the time it took to get it installed. It was a little long on the time I signed the contract until they actually came and put it in, which was probably about eight weeks. It was a good experience overall and I have recommended them to people.

    Awful awful awful. Sacramento Bath Fitter. Sales guy sold my wife and had her sign the front side of the contract only (this matters). It took about a month and BF sent out one installer. I was home during the install and it looked like he had problems cutting the tub to size. At the completion of the install, we noticed that three tiles were cracked (we still maintained original shower tiles). The installer outwardly admitted that he cracked the tiles (this matters). I talk with the ops and managers and so now for some reason, this becomes my problem because BF doesn't have any tile guys to do the repairs. So I am asked if I knew any. I said I didn't but will check around. Weeks go by and I have no luck with anyone interested in doing three tile repairs, and then find out that BF was waiting on ME! Didn't even try to find somebody.

    Well, I told them that this is their problem and that they need to get this done. Two months go by with no progress. We dare not use the tub because we do not want to be held liable for water getting behind anything. I finally find a couple contractors who gave me a quote so I turned them over to BF. BF wanted me to hire them out and reimburse me but I did not want the liability. Unfortunately, the contractors could not seem to come to a contract with BF terms so they all bowed out. Four months now has gone by and still no use of tub, and finally BF says they found a guy. During this time, I am running back and forth an hour at time to try and match tile and then I find out that I need to match grout. I make these purchases directly. So their tile guy comes in and does a good job, but leaves a little dirt in the tub.

    So I clean the tub and see what looks to be a crack in the bottom of the tub. BF sends the same installer out and he confirms it is a crack and not something they could buff out. So BF says they will order a new tub and it will take another couple weeks. So they bring the new tub but send a different guy who has much more experience. He first looks at the crack and thinks it is just something he can buff out and really at this stage, I was not looking forward to the mess of tearing out the other insert. So he buffs it out, and I took a magnifying glass and could not see anything so I said, "Let's go with it." Finally, we have a tub that we can use. Or so we thought. Wife use the tub first time with low water and everything seem fine. Next night she fills the tub up, and the water enters the overfill drain, As this tub is upstairs, we start getting water coming out of the heater vent in the ceiling below and dripping onto our tile floor in the washroom.

    So a third guy comes out, checks all of the caulking and says it looks good and throws his hands up and says he doesn't know, could be my pipes and or valves. He re-caulks the drain and overflow and goes away leaving us with... what now? So I talked to my plumber and he suggested that I catch water out of my faucet with buckets to see if there is any leaking, which would indicate pipe problems. There was none. So then I poured the caught water down the drain to see if it was a drain problem. There wasn't. So I had my wife take a bath that night and she filled the tub up below the overflow, and we had no leak. I had her continue to fill the tub to the overflow and we did not have a leak. My conclusion was a poor caulking job on the overflow. We have had no leaks since.

    Caveats: still trying to get reimbursed for my costs and time getting tile and grout. It was fifteen miles away each way times four trips. The reason that I said "this matters" is if the sales guy had my wife sign the back of the contract, we would have released our rights and been responsible for any and all tile cracks. It took close to five months to use that tub. And at $1800, I think we got hosed.

    My parents have a Bath Fitter product and I liked theirs. Plus if anything went wrong, the company would replace the product. I like the design of the bathtub shower combination and paid extra for the fancy back part of it. I purchased it back in the summer but due to an air conditioner breaking, I didn't get it set in until December the 1st. The installer was really sweet and informative though. He told us all about it and was really good. It was a good experience overall and we love the bathtub. It's great quality and I would recommend that others get it.

    I read about Bath Fitter's business plan online and decided to go with them versus a private contractor. I bought a tub from them last November and the sales rep was wonderful, very pleasant and thorough. He went through everything with me, explained how things were going to be, how long it was going to take, and explained the financing, which I did not need to. Then it was a long project for the installer who came. He was very thorough and explained to me what he was doing if I had questions. They told me it would take eight to nine hours, and it did. It wasn't any more than I anticipated. All in all, I'm very pleased with the products and I would recommend Bath Fitter because they give so many options as to what one can do with the area that they are working with. They don't try to oversell on something and they let the customer do the choosing.

    My daughter got in the shower, closed the shower door and the glass door shattered all over her. Then she got out of the tub and had cuts up and down and on the bottom of her feet. Had to take her to hospital and she needed stitches. I called Bath Fitter and they said there was nothing they could do. Bought it before the lifetime warranty. I will never recommend them. That was like 2 years ago. To this day my daughter is so scared to take any showers with glass doors. Don't let them tell you it's a lifetime guarantee because it's. Or they did not even care that she got hurt.

    A couple of years ago, we went to the home show at the Expo Center out in Chantilly and Bath Fitter had a display there. We signed up to have a sales rep come out to our place and it was a bad experience. I wouldn’t buy from that guy if it was given to me free. He will not take no for answer. The things he wanted us to have, I do not want to have. I went to the post office and he asked how much do I make and he said that I can afford it. He just went on and on and on. It was just a horrible experience. I got turned off.

    This past year we went back and there was Bath Fitter again and we had someone come to our place again. And, Brad, this other salesman was super. He listened to us about what we want. He made some suggestions which I took like raising the height up even more so the shower head would be on the wall. He was really nice and was fantastic. We were told that the installation would take two days but the gentleman who came out and installed it did it in one. He was their number one installer and he was great. He let me watch and I was impressed how it was done. He was fast, cleaned up everything, sealed everything and we're happy with it. I wish I had done it years ago. The only thing I don’t like was the price. It was $7200 and really high. They did a beautiful job and I got good quality but just I wish it was a little cheaper. Despite that, I would recommend BathFitter to anybody.
