    We got Bath Fitter a couple of months ago. We saw them when we were walking through the mall in Springfield. We went down, looked and their reps were nice, answered our questions and treated us decently. We tried to remodel once and the guy at the company we tried was a real jerk. We were really putting them out, asking them questions, and we said we were not doing business with them.

    Bath Fitter did two bathrooms, showers, and tub covers. They made a bathtub into just a plain shower and we are really happy with that. We are also really impressed with the guy who put it in. He impressed us a lot more than the actual sales rep. The young man that was doing the installation seemed like he knew what he was talking about. He went a little beyond what he was contracted to do without cost to us, which showed us that he appreciated the business. Also, that was one of the hottest times of the year and I felt so bad that we forgot to put the air condition on. We were really impressed with how hard and quick he worked under that condition and didn't say a word. When we got back, he had it done and he was really decent about everything.

    In addition, we had a 6’5’’ son-in-law and my sons are all over six-foot, and they were always complaining about taking showers. So, the installer extended the shower so that my 6'5'' son-in-law can shower without bending over. The installer made it happen and we were really impressed with that. I'm really happy with the showers upstairs and downstairs. I'd suggest Bath Fitter to others.

    I had a cast iron tub and years ago I took it out and put it back in because the floor needed to be repaired. This time, taking that tub out was more than I wanted to do. The only option was to find some way to cover it and the only one I knew that did that was Bath Fitter because I had seen their commercial. I called, talked to them and the price seemed to be pretty reasonable for what you get. John, from Bath Fitter, was terrific. He worked fast and did quality work. He did the original installation in late July, then we found out that there was another piece that I wanted for the covering of the ceiling so we added that on. He came back on the 6th of August and did that. Then I refinished the rest of the bathroom myself. The tub installation was just plain awesome.

    I only have one concern about the tub though. Because of the special plates that I have to wear, I take baths instead of showers. After three weeks of taking baths, I noticed that there was a ring around the base of the sidewalls of the tub, at just about water level. It looks like a shadow. Now, after I take a bath every day, I rinse the tub, squirt it with Windex multi-surface, scrub it by hand, then rinse the whole thing out and dry it all off. It keeps it to the point where it’s just a very light shadow. You have to really look at it to know it’s there, but for some reason, I notice it. My understanding was that nothing would adhere to the surface of the tub because it was a non-porous material but there’s something in the water that attaches to that.

    Bath Fitter has another commercial. The guy says that one of the greatest feelings is that when you get done, the people come in there and they’re just awestruck because it’s so impressive and it really is. I’ve often looked at the commercials and I said that nothing is that perfect. They look perfect on TV but in reality, it's not gonna be that good. However, it is that good with Bath Fitter. I don’t know how they do it because houses over the years shift so walls aren’t truly aligned anymore but when Bath Fitter gets done it’s absolutely beautiful.

    Dave has experience with RV's and knew what was needed to fix the problem that we had with the surround that was replaced with a new one. Robert ** came to the house where we kept our RV and installed a new surround after replacing the old one. He did an excellent installation and cleaned up the mess and hauled the old one away.     When we went to Home Depot, we saw the Bath Fitter display. They gave me a card and I called Bath Fitter. When the rep came, he showed the samples and explained which ones were the most popular. We want safety and we’re not into glamour that much and so, he recommended the slip-resistance grip bars. He mentioned that everything that was put in is an industrial quality and that mattered to us too. He also explained how high we could go with the shower unit. He did a great job and we ended up getting the clear glass shower doors, the plain white, smooth shower inside, and the single shelf to hold supplies. We were happy with that. However, the cost choked me and because we’re retired and on fixed income, we didn’t get the 20% discount. So, in a sense, we’re paying interest every month but at least, the shower is in now. It was expensive but I was happy to have the job completed in one day and have it very clean.

    The man who came to do the installation was amazing. He cut the tub in half and carried the pieces out himself. The first thing he did was put protection down on our countertop in the bathroom where he was gonna lay his tools. He was extremely neat. At one point, another gentleman came in. The pipes had to go higher because it wasn’t going from a bathtub. He cut into the walls and checked, and there was no mold or mildew behind our existing bathtub, which was nice. Also, the floor was dry. He did a great job.

    We asked for a third bar to be put in. He looked at how clean I kept everything. He said that the disks that go on either end of the grab bar and go into the wall can be sealed. The sealant can be put on them and they can go right on, or I can twist on and off and get behind them if I wanna clean them. He also told me that I may want to not have that sealant put on because over time, it’ll be cleaner if I didn’t have it and I said okay. I’ve been going in and unscrewing and cleaning. It’s really easy to do since it’s just a single twist but my husband said that he wished I had it sealed. There are six spots because there are three grab bars, so the only regret I have is that I didn’t tell him to seal those. However I will ask Bath Fitter about getting the sealant put on when I call them about a type of cleaner that I want to use.

    Also, there are two shower doors and we’re supposed to use one of them in a certain way so that there’s no leaking. When it’s closed, there’s a little hook and we’re supposed to pull that to open because the bathtubs are on the outside. The little hook is a piece of equipment that screws into the door handle on the other side, but we don’t see the screw. It’s a little white tab and on it is a U-shaped piece of metal that we push to open and close the door. A knob would probably look kinda corny, but for the elderly people, it’s hard to grab that little thing. There’s also a little bit of suction to pull it to get it open, so I’m putting my hand on the glass and I’m also using that thing. Each door has one and the metal tab thing that opens and closes has come off. It’s falling off and I put it back in where the holes are. It’s not making me feel comfortable and it’s difficult to open and close the door.

    I wish that in future designs of the door, they could have something a little more substantial because a lot of people using the door are elderly people. Anybody who has arthritis wouldn’t even be able to get their finger in that little piece to push it open and closed. On the other hand, stepping in and out of the shower is fine. Everything is absolutely perfect.

    I was at the beginning of a bathroom remodeling and thought that I would start with Bath Fitter and see what they have to offer. I ended up getting a shower/tub enclosure, a tub and new faucets. I also had the shower head moved up six inches and a dome put in in the shower area. The Bath Fitter rep was nice and great to work with and I was so pleased with the installation. My installer’s name was Joe and he was great. He cleaned up after himself and it was wonderful. I would recommend Bath Fitter to anybody. In fact, I have and I would have Bath Fitter again either next year or the following year because I’m going to have my other bathroom redone and they’d be the first ones I'd contact to see what we can come up with.

    We tried other remodeling companies but they wanted to remodel the whole bathroom which we didn’t want to. When we called Bath Fitter, they got us an appointment right away and the guys were convenient as far as the payment and how fast they were. Also, it was really true so it was a good choice. The sales rep was knowledgeable and answered all our questions. He was very thorough and he applied for the credit card right away and gave us the information. He guided us a little bit with the products and showed us samples of the material. He also had pictures so it was very nice. We changed the whole bathtub and the installers were fast and good. Bath Fitter is a bit pricey but it is worth it and I recommend them. There is a lifetime guarantee on the product, so whenever there is a problem with it, they will come and fix it.

    I have a house that was built in 1937, so we still have the ugly tiles. There was toffee cream and then some other tile, and one bathroom still has the clawfoot tub. I had quotes from Re-Bath but they would have taken me about six weeks out in terms of the work. I chose Bath Fitter for their availability. They would be able to get me in relatively early and according to my timeline. Also, I had used Bath Fitter when my mother was living. They redid her tub for her bathroom.

    The sales representative was good. Thereafter, the guys from Bath Fitter came out and reviewed his work. Also, the installation team was great to work with. They kept busy, answered questions and really made the experience fun. However, there were some issues with what I wanted done and what could possibly have been done. The measurements were a little off and we had to order another product instead, so there was a delay of one week. Still, Bath Fitter got me in and they did two bathrooms for me. One bathroom was totally remodeled to cover up the old tile and we got rid of the tub in the other bathroom. Also, if I needed anything, they were able to come out and bring the extra tile, rack or whatever was needed.

    Since the installation, I've been loving both bathrooms. Their team was very thorough and they did a great job. They also found an issue. I purchased the house in April, and I'm not sure how it slipped by a couple of the inspectors, but I had two hot water lines going into my bathtub, my shower area. So if I had been in the shower area and turned on the water, I would have gotten scalded because it was that hot. I was very happy that I decided to take my time moving and had the bathrooms done. The only con I have is that considering what I looked at from Re-Bath, Bath Fitter probably needs to provide more variety in terms of their product samples and their overall inventory. Still, they are a great group of people to work with.

    The Bath Fitter sales rep that came out and talked to us was pleasant. I liked him. He was very knowledgeable and he answered everything. Then, the guy that came out and installed everything was very professional, personable and nice, too. We did the walk-in shower in one room and a tub in the other about a month ago. He did great. I love the unit, but I’m having buyer’s remorse because it cost so much. It’s very expensive and I’m too embarrassed to even tell anybody I paid what I paid -- I wouldn’t refer them because of the cost. Still, I would tell my friends that Bath Fitter is awesome.     I have worked with Bath Fitter all the time and I see that they’re doing a good job. So I called and the man who came here looked around and said they were gonna charge me for the job. I told him to go ahead. The installer was a nice person who did well. He put a tub over the tub and then he covered the tub and just walled everything up. Although we're really happy with it, the sliding door collects some water that we have to wipe out with a towel. Other than that, Bath Fitter is really good. I would tell friends to go ahead and do it.

    I thought Bath Fitter was the way to go considering my mother used them at her house. Excellent quality, easy to clean, and guaranteed. Boy was I wrong. I am a new customer to them. The sales person responded almost immediately to give us a quote and start the paperwork. Sales rep was as expected; great. However if you have any family emergencies, totaled vehicle, injured family member, catastrophic events occur in your life prepare to be neglected and ignored when asking to postpone or cancel the remodel.

    I have called four times, spoken to countless customer service members, and have even left messages with the nice gentleman who sold the job and insisted we could call him if we needed anything at all. Sales pitch if you ask me. Here it is week three of no results and $305 dollars gone and unheard of. It's a waiting game to see if they'll take the other 6 grand. All and all just be careful. The sales reps are great at what they do and no it's not easy to get out of once you're in.

    I have a bathroom that has the stick tile and we needed a bathtub. The old tub was in that bathroom since 1951 and the porcelain was wearing off. We had to rip the bathroom apart to get the tub out because the rest of the bathroom was in good shape. And Bath Fitter was the answer. A gentleman came out and measured it all up. He was super and he knew what he was talking about. We talked about the price and it was right, so that was what I did. The guy that installed it was excellent too and it took him about seven hours. He was very polite and he cleaned up well that one wouldn’t even know he was in there. He did a professional job. The new tub is great and it looks like it belongs there, and I love it. There are other companies out there, but I would highly recommend Bath Fitter in a second. I would even let other people look at my tub.

    Our experience with Bath Fitter was smooth from Debra the sales consultant and all the way through the install with Martin who was great. They removed a wall to make the closet shower more open, replaced the plumbing and gave us a more modern shower. Our bathroom actually looks larger than it did. Martin was very professional and friendly had everything done within 24 hrs. He hauled away all the old debris and left no mess. We were left information on how to care for our shower.     Bath Fitter has a great product and good people to work with. But it's expensive. You've gotta wanna spend that kind of money. In my case, I liked the looks of Bath Fitter and the work was gonna be done in one day instead of torn up for several days. So that was my decision maker in going with them. I talked to a couple of different Bath Fitter representatives here and in their showroom. They were very knowledgeable and I had all good experiences with them. I had one shower done and the installer did a good job. He took out the five-foot shower I had to begin with and put the new one in. He was very friendly too.

    I was helping my mother-in-law with converting her bath tub into a shower area. We did the tub surround through Bath Fitter and we had some work done in our building at the office.     We needed to have some bathroom remodeling done and after I had a conversation with the salesman, Bath Fitter seemed to be a good fit. The salesman was very professional and knowledgeable. He was on time and he did a good presentation. We had them redo a tub and shower surround in a rental unit. I went to see the finished product and it looked very nice and well done. It was a good experience and I would definitely do that again. In this situation, we had a nice, rental home that definitely needed to have the bathroom redone, but we couldn't have our tenant be without a bathroom for a week. Bath Fitter is a good route to go and a good alternative if you need to have something done quickly.

The shower door doesn’t appear to be long enough and they are to get back to me on that, but they never have. However, all in all, they’re good.     I highly recommend Bath Fitter! My 50 plus year old tub/shower started to leak into the wall thru the grout on the tile wall soaking the sheetrock behind, I was getting quotes to repair thru contractors and they were in excess of $10,000! So I called Bath Fitter and Mike **, sales consultant for Bath Fitter promptly came to my house, assessed the situation, explained the whole process. They would remove the walls, repair the damage, replace the plumbing, and install tub and surround right over my existing tub all in one day! I was skeptical, my fear was it would look like a "cheap fix" but in fact it looks like a million bucks, the installer and plumber arrived at my house at the exact time I was told and by the end of the day had a new tub and walls! The installer Milo was very professional and super respectful of my property, laying down drop clothes on my carpet where they had to walk, etc. When they left everything was perfect!

    I spent over $3,600.00 to have a new bathtub and shower professionally installed and it wasn't. The hot and cold water supply to the supply valve were incorrectly installed. When I turn the handle to cold water side of the indicator I get hot water and vice versa. This is a safety issue. I contacted Bath Fitter and they refused to correct this mistake. It is an issue of lack of attention to details. It has happened before according to office representative. I was to I have to live with this mistake.

    My parents were inquiring that a small bathroom in their home have a makeover. A lady from Bath Fitter traveled to their home on a Friday, talked with them about the process, then had them sign papers and pay $1000 for the downpayment of a total cost of $6000. After the woman left, they had some tragic things happen that is preventing them from moving forward with the "makeover"! My father called the next week to cancel the "potential" bathroom makeover, Bath Fitter then informed them that they would not be getting the $1000 back! At no time did the woman from Bath Fitter inform them that they would not be receiving their money back. It was undisclosed.

    Bath Fitter completely took advantage of them! The woman rushed my parents through the process, they felt uneasy during the entire "home visit" and pressured into signing! We as a family are completely disgusted with the representation viewed on television by Bath Fitter! We will not recommend them to anyone in fact, will tell every one of our experience with Bath Fitters! What a disgrace! Taking advantage of people, especially those that are aging, trusting, and have come upon hard times. I need to add that no work had taken place in my parents home from Bath Fitter, therefore there are no photos to add to this review.

    Ahhh... Husband just called and said Bath Fitter will not do anything about our frozen pipes. It just happens they said. August of 2017 - we spent hard earned money to have our tub and shower re-done. At the time the installer insulated the wall (west wall) where our water pipes run up from the basement. He assured us we would have no problem with the water freezing anymore. (Which is one of the reasons we wanted to have this done. If you do it you do it right... RIGHT!!) December 30 2017 - the water froze in the wall. At that time we just turned the water off to that shower/bath... Waited for spring. I didn't want anyone tracking in the winter time, since we had another bathroom we could use.

    After many e-mails concerning this - we did get a call from a gal who was going to set up a time for an installer to come out. Still waiting... We have been overly patient with all of this waiting. We went to the State Fair and complained to their salesperson... Left details and phone numbers. Now they finally called (August 2018) and said "things happen and we aren't going to fix this..." OMG... Spent $5000 and that's all the satisfaction we get?? We could of just went to Menards and done it ourselves for much much less and probably had it done right. I just don't get it. You spend good money and get no satisfaction! Not to mention my husband is disabled and doesn't feel well most of the time. I'm so upset right now. I can't even talk.

    On the 1st of May, we had Bath Fitter replace the tub with a shower. I liked our Bath Fitter salesman, Matt. He was very personable. However, I felt that the installation guy was rushed. When we signed up, they said that it might take a day and a half but the guy was on a time frame. I thought he was overextended. There was a hole in my ceiling and it happened when the old tub was taken out. There was also a small hole in the tile on my bathroom floor which I’m sure was all part of one person working very diligently to get a day and a half job done in a day. Other than that, we were impressed with the one-piece wall unit. We wouldn't have to worry about mildew. The only thing is that it's hard to clean between where the doors overlap which was like two inches. If they could improve the doors so they don’t overlap then that would be a good thing.

    I've had an excellent experience with Bath Fitter. I was in one of the home and garden shows and remodelers’ shows at the State Fairgrounds in Columbus and I had heard about Bath Fitter on commercials before, so I looked at their product. There wasn’t a lot of high pressure and I liked the product that they were selling and also the choices that I had. The sales rep who I worked with was professional. He had experience with the product and had information about the products and with the choices that we were making.

    Three months ago, we got the tub and had our walls done on our bathroom through Bath Fitter. It was nice and we like it a lot. The installation went smooth and the installer gave us the information as far as cleaning the tub. He was in and out in one day. We were happy with it. I would recommend Bath Fitter.     I got in touch with Bath Fitter and talked to Rachel, the sales rep. She was very patient and gave me more information than any of the other companies when I had questions. There were some things that I didn’t quite understand, so I asked her a couple of times and she had no problem answering them. Everyone that I came in contact with from the beginning to the end of the job was wonderful, patient and answered any questions. The gentleman that did the installation never made a mess and cleaned up everything. There was no residue anywhere, not even a footprint of anything.     There were two different guys who did the installation and I spoke with them. They both answered my questions and were very helpful. But there was a problem with the caulking and I got frustrated trying to get a hold of Bath Fitter. So I’m gonna call the sales rep instead. He was very responsive when I dealt with him and I know the issue would get taken care of. Bath Fitter's back office may need a little more work but as long as they’ve got salespeople who are responsive and know how to get to the right person, there's really not much of an issue.

    I had Bath Fitter replace my shower stall in 2004 and was told I had lifetime warranty. In 2007 I had to have the base replaced because it cracked along the bottom and we had water running through the wall into the laundry room whenever someone took a shower. When I called I was told that they stopped the lifetime warranty in 2004 and that I didn't qualify. After some arguing they said "Oh I'm sorry we made a mistake and you just made it into the lifetime warranty." So after 2 more months of arguing it was finally replaced.

    Fast forward to today. My base is cracked again in the same place as before and the surround walls have two cracks in them in one corner. I called Bath Fitter and was told that the lifetime warranty only started in 2007 and I only had five year warranty on mine. When I said I paid more to have Bath Fitter do it so it had a lifetime warranty I was told "We don't charge more for lifetime." No, but you were more expensive than the other bids I had on it, but I went with Bath Fitter for the lifetime warranty. Bottom line is they are sorry but you're out of luck. They were nice enough to offer to send someone out to give me a price on re-doing it. Don't fall for Bath Fitter's promises. I had recommended many people to Bath Fitter, if you're one of them I'm sorry.

    Hi, so to start Bath Fitter was hired by my landlord "Chartwell Holdings" for their "Rockingham Village Apartments". The installer "Jason" showed up and seemed energetic to say the least, he was chatty throughout the install and continuously complained about the building. He first decided that the 3 handle valve that I had should be replaced so he quickly cut it out and started installing the new single handle valve. He didn't measure his depth though and after sweating valve he left to get the shower surround ready, came back up and found that he had cut it too short by about 2 inches. Then rather than go get another one and try again he insisted on fudging the top with patches... "seamless one piece? NOT!" So then he brought it out further into the room than the old shower walls by a couple inches instead of trimming it closer to what was there. He said it had been a bad week 'cause he kept screwing up all week.

    At first tried to pressure test and saw at least one leak from upper showerhead mount which he said would be fixed toward the end. His attitude wasn't a good one when it came to the building and working on fitting things. Just seemed unprofessional at best. Glad he's gone and I hope he never has to return to fix anything. I'd be a lot more upset if it was my property and I was paying the bill but since I only rent here it's their ultimate issue not mine. I DEFINITELY WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE! The shower surround across the hall was done by the renter and came out far better for a lot less money. In my opinion using chunks of extra drywall to shim the shower valve to push the pipes back further into the wall cavity because you didn't measure properly and using multiple layers of double sided tape to compensate for a wall being out of slightly out of square just screams "mickey moused" and unprofessional.

    Adding ugly strips of plastic you had to fudge in above the tub surround to make it reach the ceiling is also not in line with their description. He forgot to caulk where the ugly strips meet the ceiling too. Then when he replaced a toilet shutoff valve he forgot to put the flange that covers the hole in the wall, on the pipe before adding the valve and hose so he cut the flange and fudged that on too. Seemed like he couldn't wait to get out of here. He never did a final check of the shower to see that it worked and told me not to use for a while so the caulking to dry. I feel bad for the next guy who has to go in there to work on it.

    I had always heard good things about Bath Fitter and, indeed, I had a very good experience with them. I got them to remove a very old Bath Fitter over an even older tub, and change it over to a shower. I opted for them since they were able to do it the quickest and at a very good price, slightly lower than my best regular contractors. I had the remodel done around April and it's beautiful. The installer took out the tub, realigned where things had to be with the faucets and put in the new shower stall and the door. I was told it was gonna take two days but he did it in one day.

    Also, everybody on Bath Fitter team was kind, considerate and on time. I worked with a great guy who gave me a lot of options and went over everything in great detail. This rep let me know what was going to happen, when the people were gonna come out to measure, and then when they were going to do the installation. He also told me how everything was supposed to progress, what kind of money we were looking at and what options we have for financing.

    Our old bathroom needed some dusting up and Bath Fitter’s product really fits. They put an overlay over the tub and ripped out the existing vinyl sides around, and put a new one. The products were installed in April and it was a painless process. There was one person for the installation who was in and out in six hours and he was very clean. We talked to him and he has installed over 2,000. Bath Fitter’s customer service was great. They kept us informed on everything. Their salesman knew his stuff but he was a little pushy. We had a 15% off thing, and he said we got to sign up that day or it would cost us more. I don’t like making decisions like that. They can improve on that, but that aside, I’ve had a good experience with Bath Fitter.

    Don't believe the lifetime guarantee - We called Bath Fitters because we had a water leak in our tub and needed immediate assistance. Water had pooled between the tub lining and the tub and the entire lining was buckling out. We have been calling two days asking for help in getting a technician and we have been getting nowhere. Our initial installation was in November 2002. We had no problems until December 2012 but at that time Bath Fitter was very responsive in sending a technician to remove the excess water pooled beneath the lining. So no complaint there.

    This time it has been a totally different story. We have received nothing but a runaround. On our first call we were told that only one person could look up records for old orders such as ours because these records were on a different computer system. But we were told that someone would research and find our file and call us back. No one ever did. In the meantime, we sent all our available information to help with this search: our old landline and cell numbers at the time of the installation and our address.

    After not receiving any response to my email, I called again this morning. I was told again that only the manager had access to the system that had the old records and that she would call me back in ten minutes. Ten minutes passed, and then an hour. So I called back again. This time I was put on the phone for 15 minutes and then I was disconnected. Meanwhile, we have a big problem and cannot use our shower or tub until this issue is solved. If I could give a negative star for their customer service, I would.

    This is my long term review of our experience with Bath Fitter. We initially had our Bath Fitter bathtub installed in 2003. Everything went smoothly with the installation, however we later noticed some minor flaws in the way the bathtub seams lined up with the wall. We promptly brought this up with Bath Fitter considering the price we paid and were advised that the installation technician was let go due to similar complaints from other customers. After 8 years or so, we noticed that water had accumulated between the old and new bathtubs. We immediately notified Bath Fitter and the issue was repaired at no charge.

    The technician who did the repair was very courteous and provided us with a thorough explanation for the water build up between the two tubs. He advised us that water had seeped in at the bathtub drain where the drain flange interfaces with the bathtub. We were satisfied with the repair and everything went well until a couple of weeks ago when we noticed that water had once again accumulated between the two tubs, however this time we also found a puddle of water in our basement. This time Bath Fitter wanted to charge us $95.00 just to send in a technician which I declined since I can repair this on my own and save myself at least $95.00. Considering the high price we paid for our Bath Fitter bathtub, we feel that this issue should have been covered under warranty since it doesn't fall under a normal wear and tear category. Other than that, we're very satisfied with our purchase after 15 years of use.

    I purchased a shower and I did go up and look at it before the installer left. But I only discovered later that night that the bathroom was filthy. There were layers of wood dust all over the bathroom. The installer had tried to cover things when he was here but it didn't do anywhere near enough good. There was wood dust on everything including my toothbrush, my shampoo and my soap. I had to clean every single item and it took six hours to clean all the mess. They had told me to empty everything out of my shower before the man came to do the installation. But the situation could have been so easily avoided if they had told me to clear everything out of the bathroom. Then all I would have had to do was wipe down the countertop. It would have been vastly easier. Actually, Bath Fitter should have done that anyway. It shouldn't have been for me to clean up.

    I started by trying to clean the floor but after I had done that, my feet were filthy because I had been walking on it. So I decided to get into the shower to clean my feet. They had told me not to use the shower for a certain number of hours. But the installer had used the shower and just aimed at the floor to make sure that the plumbing was all connected properly so I figured it would be okay to get in and squirt my feet. But when I got into the shower, it was so slippery that I was terrified that I was gonna fall. Fortunately, the grab bars had been installed so I was able to grab hold of them.

    The shower cost me thousands of dollars and it's a danger to life and limb. I was not told by the salesperson what I needed to do, if anything needed to be done, to make it safe. And I was told by the installer not to do the one thing that was listed in the booklet about how to make it safe. There was something in there about installing some kind of coating to make it less slippery. But the installer said that it doesn't work very well and that it's sticky. He said that any kind of shower would accumulate a little bit of grit and the grit would get into the sticky part then it's really filthy and hard to clean up.

    The shower was not even slippery just for that night. Having a shower there in general is incredibly slippery. I've bought a shower mat to put in there but it's a pain in the neck to have to deal with. I've never needed them before and my previous shower had not been slippery at all. In fact, I've never had a shower where I felt like I was slipping and sliding.

    When the Bath Fitter agent came out to describe the whole process, it seemed reasonable. The man who was here to sell me the items and the man who was here to install the items were lovely and cooperative. It was after the fact that I had these reactions. I felt very frightened by the slipperiness and very angry about the mess. All in all, I was not a very happy camper.

    I, unfortunately, have had a terrible experience with Bath Fitter since the first day of installation. I thought the entire process was going to be painless and simple, but it has been a nonstop source of aggravation. After our small shower was converted into a Bath Fitter shower, we noted water coming through the wall of the adjacent room whenever the shower was used. Making matters worse, the installer had not bothered centering the water handle/fixture. When Bath Fitter came to examine the leak, they discovered that the installer had not fully welded the pipe in the wall and that's what was causing our leak.

    They said they would fix the leak by welding the pipe properly and retrofitting another Bath Fitter on top of the existing one! My shower was already tiny. I refused this, and asked that they please do the installation from the beginning, and properly. Also, they said they would fix the swollen baseboard to our guest bathroom vanity. Then, they wanted to resend their promise in our contract to center our drain! They claimed it wasn't in their scope of work, and that they would refund us $60 dollars.

    This credit was laughable and insulting, considering the centering of a drain pipe is much more costly than $60 (we learned from a few plumbers). Finally, they agreed to honor our contract, as it was not our fault that their salesperson oversold their services. All seemed well after the second installation, but to be sure everything went smoothly they promised to come back and check for leaks in our bedpan. Did they ever come back? No. Did they ever answer our calls, asking when we could expect someone to come back and make sure their product was in proper working order? No. Did they send the same installer that did the first job so poorly? You bet!

    So here we are, 5-6 months later, with surprise surprise, another leak in our bathroom. Who knows what the extent of the damage from this leak is, as it appears to only occur when a lengthy shower is taken (meaning that the rest of the time the water remains in the walls and does not leak out)! I am livid, disappointed, and feel like I've been completely deceived by this company.

    Bath Fitter's rep was excellent. He explained everything to us, what we had to spend right down to the penny, what they would actually do, and how long it would take. We had a one-piece tub with shower enclosure and it was cracked in the bottom. Bath Fitter couldn’t do the tub over thing so we did a complete remodel and had a whole new tub and enclosure shower put in.

    The installer had the tub installed in eight hours total. I was amazed that the gentleman was by himself. I thought at least another person would come to help him, but he said he did one of those a day. He was a very nice gentleman and pleasant. He answered any of the questions we had and did an excellent installation. He cleaned up after himself and left nothing behind. It's been three months since the installation and so far we love everything they did, the plumbing, the faucets, and the shower head. Plus, the tub works the way it’s supposed to.

    I heard decent things years back from other people about Bath Fitter so, the name wasn’t new and I haven’t heard anything bad about them so I thought it was a safe move. They tore out the existing 45-year old bathtub as well as the tile walls that I put in about 40 years ago and replaced it with a full-sized shower. They also did new plumbing. The rep knew the product well and had answers to all our questions. The installation was fabulous and the installers were on time. They did the job in about a third the amount of time that I thought it would take. They were done by 2:30 in the afternoon and considering that they had to demolish and remove a cast iron tub, that was pretty good time. Everything went according to schedule and it has worked out very well. It was an enjoyable experience and we were very pleased. People should give it a shot and I have no problem recommending them to a friend.

    3rd time for repairs in 13 years. First tub walls and ceiling fell in a week. Came right out and fixed it. Then the tub lifted, same. About 10 years into it the tub was an issue again and they replaced it and in replacing it chipped the wall. Didn't notice right away- I am not mad at it, it is what it is and covered by warranty. However, customer service, field training and overall ethics of the branch I am dealing with is questionable.

    We have had our unit since 2005. Called to have someone come do the grout in may because it was black and unmanageable using all the products we had been told in the past to use. I told the woman on the phone that there was a hole in the wall from the last time someone serviced the tub - minor but a hole, thought they could repair it. Kid came, showed him the hole, he took note, re-caulked the tub and left. I got a call stating that a claim was in and they would be replacing the wall for the unit. I asked if that was the case why did the kid recaulk the tub because I assumed it had to be done again. The woman told me I was correct and she would talk to the manager about refunding the fee for the recaulking - $130!

    Fast forward to yesterday. I had to call myself to confirm my appointment and I asked again about the fee that was supposed to be credited. I was told that would have to go through the manager. Yes, I was told that before. By who? By you! Oh, no there were two people working here with the same name, the other one is gone. Call me crazy, sounded like the same woman on the phone.

    Regardless, guy is here - 4 hours now, glad I have the ability to work from home - and no call from the office regarding my credit. Guy finished at the exact 4 hour mark. Wall looks good hopefully stays on. No paperwork is troublesome but ok. Still waiting for that call and my credit. I was going to give a 3 but based on this experience, minus the guy today, only a 2... Sorry Bath Fitter.

    We only have one bathroom in our house and we knew that we couldn’t be without it for more than a day. I've put a remodel off for a while and decided to call Bath Fitter to knock it out. The guy who came was great. He set up, told us exactly what we needed, and presented everything very well. The installation took less than a full day and timing-wise, they did well.

    However, during the installation, my expensive high-end screwdriver which was in a tray there ended up disappearing. The service tech called me and I talked to him about it. I told him that he might have put it in his back pocket out of habit but he told me he didn't. Also, the service and the remodel was a bit expensive. We ended up paying six grand. We're putting our house on the market and had I had a little more time, I might have gone out, got some more prices and I could have saved some more money. Nevertheless, Bath Fitter came in and did everything they said they would do. The job looks really good, it really made a difference in our bathroom, and it looks to be a pretty high-quality product. We’ve had the new bathroom there now for a couple of months and it’s been fine thus far.

    We talked to Bath Fitter after finding their booth at a home and garden show. At the time, we were thinking of doing some remodeling so we set up an initial consultation and the whole process was really easy. Everybody was very friendly and efficient the whole way through. They worked with us on scheduling and we were able to pick the day that worked best for us. We really liked the way their product looked too. It was a little more expensive than we thought it was gonna be, but considering getting it all done in one day versus a week, we went for the efficiency and the quality rather than the price. We had them remove a bathtub and put in a double-sized shower with sliding doors. They also put in the walls, the doors and then hooked up the plumbing.

    It was a seven-hour job and mostly done by one man. The man got there early and worked quietly in the bathroom then had a helper join him for the last couple of hours. Some of the demo work was a little noisy, but he cleaned up after himself. Once he was done, no one could tell that anybody had been in the bathroom. However, we had a little glitch with one of the shower doors after it was installed. It wouldn’t roll real well and it was a little bit stiff. So we called, Bath Fitter's guys came within a day or two and fixed the problem at no cost. We appreciated that.

    We wanted something very quick and easy for my wife when she goes in and cleans, and also for the kids, and everything was great with Bath Fitter. I've heard about them over the years many times and it's one of the things we've been going over. It has been a little over a month since they finished the bathroom and they did everything right. The installer got everything on each time and cleaned up after himself.

    The only minor issue that I have is the cubbies, where I put the soap and shampoo, holds the small bottles okay but it doesn't hold big bottles. They cubbies are too short since I got a tower of four and I can't put anything on top because the kids won't reach it then. Bath Fitter should make larger shelves. If they have another shelf, they could swap it out for the larger version of it and I would be happy with that. I wish the reps have mentioned the size of the shelf. Also, the price was quite a bit higher than what I anticipated. I was willing to spend the extra money, but I was surprised at the big difference on that. But other than that, everything else has been working well.

    We looked at doing our bathroom ourselves, but we didn’t really have the skills for it. We got Bath Fitter, so we didn’t have to worry about it. The salesman was great to work with. I had a couple of questions prior to getting the installation and fitting and he was able to help out very quickly. We had a great experience with him. In addition, the installer was very helpful and I was amazed that one guy could do it. However, I called their customer service once and there was a miscommunication on the manager’s part and they didn’t show up one day for the fitting, but they fixed it right away. The guy came on a day he didn’t even work. Other than that, everything was done right the first time. We got a full replacement. We got the doors, the sliding glass doors, and the corner caddy. They look easy to clean and I haven’t had any problems with them.

    The whole process was smooth. From the initial call to MN Bath Fitter to the consult and finally installation day. Our old shower controls were losing function and our 49 year old tub and tile work were stained and hard to clean. The drywall behind the fixtures and tile had gotten wet and was crumbling. The installer cut and replaced all defective drywall, replaced the valve and installed all new chrome Moen shower fixtures. We couldn't believe how nice the finished product was. It's been around six weeks and it still looks new. We're looking forward to years and years of enjoyment.

    Bath Fitter told us what they were gonna do so we decided that was gonna be better than what somebody else would do. We purchased a whole bathtub and the surround, and the shelf came with it, the curved shower curtain bar, and all the fixtures with the extra spray handles. We had a complication with the bathtub though because they couldn’t find it in their inventory, so they had to remove the bathtub.

    But they were very thoughtful about getting everything taken care of in a timely manner. Their rep explained everything and told us how things were gonna be. However, there was a little difficulty because we had an older tub that they couldn’t put the surround in, but he was great when it all came down to it. Also, the installers were efficient and right on time. They explained to us what they were doing. Then, at one time, there were three guys here helping out to finish up. Our bathroom has a completely different look now. With that, we have told everybody about Bath Fitter.

    Bath Fitter has a good advertisement to get people to listen to the product. When I had a problem that I wanted fixed, I gave Bath Fitter a jingle, they came right away and looked things over and worked it out with us. I bought a tub and the surround. The sales rep was nice and he did great. And the installers who put the tub in did a good job. A trainee and an experienced guy worked on it together around the house. They were both very congenial and I felt comfortable leaving them there. When the job was finished, everything was great and the renter was extremely happy. It’s a good product and I’ve told some other people as well. A gentleman who has a bunch of rental houses came and looked at the tub and he was quite impressed with Bath Fitter's work and the product.

    Bath Fitter is a well-known company and the price was reasonable. I still received a sales pitch from the sales rep even though I was ready to sign the papers. It was great and he wasn't pushy. We had our bathtub redone and the installation was great. Our home was built in 1824 and it was extremely old, so a lot of the plumbing was almost 100. The installer came in and he tore apart the wood in our shower and he made it look like it didn’t even exist. He did the installation in two full days and did a great job.     We needed a whole new bath and the whole bathtub needed to be redone. But we had a cast-iron tub and we didn’t want that ripped out. We knew that Bath Fitter would do a fitting over top of that so I went with them. We ended up getting the whole wall surround in the shower, the chrome fixtures and the tub insert. The sales reps were really professional. They explained everything to us, like how things were gonna work. They brought in different samples to let us see and feel the texture of the tub. It was really nice.

    My son who was three at that time when they put it in was questioning the guy, “What are you doing to my tub?” He told him what he was doing. He was really nice to him. And I love the products installed. All of it is really nice. We have a half-bath downstairs with a stand-up shower and my husband and I were talking about having them come back and redo it because we really like what they've done.

    The sales gentleman was nice at first; did suggest the standard products to lower the cost for us, which I appreciated. But he was extremely blunt and rude once we decided we did not want to make a decision that day. And he used the word "okay" in his sales pitch so many times I thought it would drive me crazy. (I later found out that's often a sales thing to get the customer to more readily say okay to the sale. Did nothing but irritate me.)

    Anyway, companies we have hired to do other work have given us an estimate and didn't pressure us to make a decision right then. Bath Fitter should do the same. Maybe it's because you're so overpriced, trying to make the customer believe they need to do things they don't really need that they don't want you to compare? I honestly don't know if that's true or not, but that's what it seems like from my experience. If your product is that good and properly priced for what you're doing, you should welcome comparisons.

    Purchased 2 Bath Fitter products - one is cracked and the other was cracked when they installed it - seems everywhere. The most used one, a shower stall, the floor cracked just this week. Not covered by warranty because of the year it was purchased. Two advertisements say, "clean bathroom renovations that last a lifetime" and the other says "all our products are backed by a limited lifetime warranty". Oh, not so fast...if you purchased it in 2003 that does not cover you - "Sorry. You're out of luck." In addition, it got mold, mildew and was not maintenance free - taken from their advertisement. So buyer beware.

    When I went up to a home show, I saw Bath Fitter as one of the first exhibits. Their advertising was about redoing bathtubs but I noticed that they also had a display of a shower. They should have a few more ads that say they do showers, too. Then, I inquired and they said that a salesman would get in touch with me as they didn’t answer a lot of questions at the home show. So, a salesman came over, measured things, and we talked about it. He gave me a quote and he said that he took off a certain amount with the offer he made for me. I told him that I needed a few days to think it over because it was a lot of money. Then, he walked out the door and I thought it was rather unfair to say that I could take advantage of the discount until he walked out the door.

    A few days later, I called him up and he came over. I told him that I’d do it but they gotta give me the discount. I was given a coupon for $100 off at the home show. He said he couldn't give the full discount but he could make it a little less. So, I purchased the shower on June 13th and when I signed the contract with the salesperson to the completion of the job, it was quick. Then the installation took three weeks at the most because one of the installers they hoped to come got tied up on a job and was quite a distance that he couldn't do my job. So, they assigned it to somebody else.

    The doors I have in my bathroom are stock items and they are clear glasses. And the shelving are stock shelving with a little footrest on the bottom. I also has a grab bar against the wall. Somebody from Bath Fitter told me that he could raise the shower head by another foot. It was great and really practical but it was for another $50. Still, I went for it because I’m 6’3 and I couldn’t stand upright when I had the shower in the bathtub. I appreciate the extra height and at the end of the day, $50 more was okay to have that convenience.

    The installer who came out was very professional and very friendly. I'd like to write in a commendation for him. He knew what he was doing so when I inquired, he told me about a training process that they went through. He ran into a couple of little problems but they weren't something that he could not overcome. He had to think about them and tell me which way to do them. He also kept the work space very clean and I was very impressed that he could take out the old tub without me helping him. I watched his workmanship and his skill and I was really impressed.

    When he did the majority of the work the first day, I almost had to twist his arm to sit down for a few minutes and take a break. He had a quick 15-minute break then got back at it and he never stopped for lunch. Even though I insisted that he do it, he said he'd rather work straight through. Maybe part of it was because he lived a distance and he wanted to beat rush-hour traffic. He also seemed to be somewhat of a Jack of all trades and a bit of a plumber. So, he was very good with the installation.

    However, it was inconvenient to open the door from the inside to turn the shower on and out. I didn't notice it at the time but the installer placed the control handle that is used to open the door at the wrong end of the door. I them phoned back about it and I had to send a picture. Then about two days later, somebody came out and switched it around to the correct position. It was something that was overlooked and the installer somehow missed it but it got rectified quickly. The guy that I dealt with on the phone was very helpful, knowledgeable, and very friendly.

    So far, I’m pleased with the shower and it complemented the bathroom it is in. I enjoy it that I think of excuses to go in it. I also got a toilet and a sink to match the color of the shower that is white and everything was okay. I could guarantee just from observing the installer and I felt confident that I'm not gonna have problems with it. I have mentioned Bath Fitter to a friend and there are four other units in the building I live in that had a Bath Fitter tub or shower installed.

    One time, we went to an RV show and I talked to someone there and I signed up with Bath Fitter. We wanted something that looked relatively easy to do but pretty when they were done. Price-wise, the Bath Fitter tub fit our budget at the time. Also, I wanted something easy and quick and I didn’t wanna spend a lot of time ripping the whole bathroom apart. So we made the purchase.

    The salesman was fantastic. He was a young guy who was very experienced for his age. I’m 70 years old and I was very impressed with his presentation and his knowledge of the product. Two installation guys showed up for the job and they were very professional and courteous. One guy did one bathroom and the other guy did the other one. They were here for 13 hours that day. They did a fantastic job and we were totally tickled. We did two bathrooms at one time and both of them had tubs. We replaced a complete tub with a full shower and we fitted the other tub. They put two commodes in too. Sometimes when you go the easy way, your expectations are not as high. But the two installers and the salesman sold me on Bath Fitter. I’m convinced. I took pictures of the finished product and I show them to everybody I know. I’m totally satisfied with the product.

    I’ve seen Bath Fitter's products at the mall. I needed them and I purchased a tub and a shower from them. The installer jumped right in and got the work done. He was very friendly and he did a good job. But he had to cut a hole in the bathroom wall to get the tub in. Then he got his foot in the tub and knocked a hole in the other wall into the bedroom next door. They were gonna fix that, but I called them back and told them not to worry about it because I've got a bunch of work to do in that room anyway and I decided that I’d just try to fix it myself.     I ordered a shower installation (no bath tub), and a surround behind the toilet. The job was scheduled for the middle of May. This was new construction. The salesman was aware of that from the beginning, and was actually in the house to take measurements. The first time the Bath Fitter crew showed up, they did nothing, because there was no electricity inside the house. Power was available from the pole, but the crew didn't have an extension cord, so we had to reschedule. The next time they showed up, they installed the shower, minus the soap dish and shelf. The installer said he didn't enough acrylic material to do the surround behind the toilet. He went back to the shop to see if they had any more in stock. They didn't, so he had to order some.

    He left a huge mess in the bottom of the shower, along with the soap dish and the shelf. A few weeks went by with no word, so I contacted Bath Fitter to check the status. They said the material was in, but the installer was on vacation or unavailable. I said I didn't care which installer did the job, but I was told they wanted to make sure their "best" installer did the job, so I had to wait. Finally in the 3rd week of June they went to finish the job. When I went to the house I discovered they failed to push the acrylic all the way into the bottom corner, which caused the leading edge to move upward, leaving a big gap above the baseboard. The soap dish and shelf were still laying in the bottom of the shower on top of the original mess.

    This was on a weekend, and I had to leave on a business trip on Sunday, so I called and left a "serious" message for them. I told them I wanted a supervisor to go look at the shoddy job that was done, and I expected it to get fixed. When I returned a week later nothing had been done, and by this time the trim carpenter had been at the house and tried to hide the gaps with caulking. This was now July. I got tired of waiting so I installed the soap dish and shelf myself. The following week I personally went to Bath Fitter. They told me they had never received my message. The girl who worked at that telephone was no longer with the company and they had no access to her messages. So I told the manager the whole story. He promised he would take care of it.

    The following week an installer arrived and ripped out the baseboard and repaired the acrylic. He also tried to clean the shower, but was unable to get it completely clean. His name was Carson and he was very professional and polite. I want to mention him because he seemed to genuinely care about his work, and my house. My contractor had to call the trim carpenter and the painters back to the house to replace the baseboards and touch up the paint and re-caulk. I will never do business with Bath Fitter again, and I will not recommend them to a friend, certainly not for that price. When I pay thousands of dollars to someone I expect professional work.

    The contractors that I’ve dealt with around here in our area weren't very good. So, we decided that we would give Bath Fitter a call to see how much it would cost. We purchased a shower and they gave me an extra shower attachment as a gift. The shower cost $6,400 but it was well worth it. It is durable and wonderful. The process of the installation was flawless. I am so used to people coming in here and doing work and messing up everything and my life with contractors has been a nightmare. Until I got Bath Fitter, they came in here, put a cloth down from the door entry all the way down the hallway into the entire bathroom. They covered the entire floor that they were walking on. Also, their personalities were wonderful and they explained things as they were going along.

    The contractors answered every question I had and made me feel like they were thrilled to be there talking to me. They were here for about three hours and did a wonderful job. They attached that extra shower head that was on our cord and they had put it on a suction cup and it kept coming off. I called Bath Fitter again and they had another guy come in and he fixed it within a half hour with no charge. I’ve already recommended Bath Fitter to two friends and one has already gotten hers put in this week. I also recommended them to neighbors who moved in across the street and to my daughter-in-law who lives in Pennsylvania.

    When we moved into this house about 10 or so years ago. We looked at two companies to do the shower and tub area. One was Bath Fitter and the reason we chose them was because the initial Bath Fitter employee said the tub was already their product and had a lifetime warranty. So we went with Bath Fitter and that is where the problems started. The initial install was measured wrong and the installer continued with the work and tried to hide the mistakes with caulking. After numerous attempts to contact the company installers were sent and they just re-caulked the area. Again numerous phone calls and was told I was not contacting service. I was doing what I was told to do.

    Finally service rep showed up and yes the issues were taken care of after a few attempts. 2 ceilings 2 wall surrounds. After the job was done we had continued pipe chatter which we had fixed by outside source and the shower fixture valve had to be replaced and when we had it removed by plumber we found stones inside. Lately I have again numerously been trying to contact Bath Fitter as I noticed the caulking and fine cracks at the drain end of the tub. When I do get in touch I explained the issue and said, "I did not have great service 10 yrs ago." The installer would arrive between 2 and 5 on the specific date and would call. I waited till 530. No installer, no call.

    When I returned home 2 hours later business card in door. Call back to express my dissatisfaction and explain the service had not changed in 10 yrs. Was basically brushed off and was told I could not expect the installers to call. But message was to be passed on. New appointment made and explained to this scheduler what happened. She assured me that Bath Fitter rep would call at 2 pm to let me know when he would arrive. He showed up and did not get any message to call ahead.

    He saw the cracks said they did not go all the way through, not to worry and would not be covered as the original owner had installed the tub. I did mention what we were told when we originally used Bath Fitter. As for the caulking it was no problem and if we did have them change it there would be a fee. He did say he would tell his manager and make a note to call me. Also because the tub is under the wall they would have to tear it all out. Bath Fitter are not plumbers, are difficult to contact and get satisfaction and in my opinion they are installers and not service to speak of.

    We wanted to take the tub out, put a shower in, and get as much room as we could. We did our research and we decided to go with Bath Fitter. The sales guy was great and we liked him very much. Their installation team was great as well. We also had a bar and shelves put in. It has been a couple of months since the remodel and we're really happy with it.     We've seen the advertising kiosk in the malls and then we went to the Baltimore Home Show down at the convention center. At the show, the Bath Fitter reps were saying what they could do and showed the materials they would use. They had this small sample tub made from the same material at the show so we had seen what kind of tub we were gonna get. We asked them a lot of questions and we asked them to come out and give us an estimate. After that, we had a couple of other companies come out but they were a lot more expensive so we went with Bath Fitter.

    Also, the Bath Fitter rep who came out told us that they could rip out the old tub and put in a new one. And the other guys were just telling us what they would do to repair the problem but they wouldn't fix it. The problem was our old tub developed a crack in the middle of the tub lengthwise and the other guys would just put fiberglass down, reinforce it and then call it good. But Bath Fitter said it had to be completely torn out and replaced. So we decided to go with that instead of doing a halfway job.

    The Bath Fitter sales rep who came out to do the estimate also finalized everything. He had a lot of examples to show for the finishes such as marble finish, brick finish or just plain white or any other color. We made our choice and he said it would take about three weeks to manufacture and then we would set up an install date. And he was true to his word. Three weeks later, they called up and said they were ready to install. So the guy came out and did a complete install.

    We ended up getting a complete new bath surround, a new faucet and shower head. The installation team was friendly and they were great. When the installer needed something, he let us know and we took care of it. But he came out with all of his materials so we didn’t have to provide him anything, just information. And it worked really good that way. And while they had the walls up, they checked on the pipes and found out they were in good shape too. They replaced the faucets and made sure they were good to go. And then they put the tub in, put the surround on and polished it up.

    We had to take down a towel rack that we had up because the surround came out and covered up where the towel rack was. I was gonna replace the towel rack up anyway because it was kinda old, bent and dented. So after they were finished, I got a new towel rack, put it up and it was all good to go. Bath Fitter came out in early March and on the first week of April, they came out to do the job which was phenomenal. It took them two days to do it but it was well worth it. My experience with Bath Fitter excellent. If I had to replace another tub, they're going to be my first person to go to.

    We had our tub shower conversion a few years ago and have always been very satisfied. The only repair that we have needed is to replace leaky tub faucet. We called Bath Fitter and they came and repaired it as part of the Lifetime Guarantee. The faucet is leaking again, I called Bath Fitter and was rudely told that there would be a $75.00 per hour service call. I inquired as to why and was told that has always been their policy. When I questioned why I hadn't been charged in the past - I was told "you should have been." How is a $75.00 charge a Lifetime Warranty? I wrote a letter to the Rochester, New York Office and have had no response. This is very poor customer service.

They had other tub designs, stand-alones, and that’s what really helped us to make our decision to purchase from them. And then, the installers did an excellent job. They put booties on. They had a little rug to walk on, so they didn’t track through. They also cleaned up very nicely afterward.     The main reason I went with Bath Fitter was they have a lifetime guarantee. I had my bathtub taken out and a full shower put in. Their team was very nice. They talked to me when they came downstairs and were very friendly. Also, they cleaned up after themselves really well.     We had our bathroom redone on 7/11/2018. The installer, Yuniesky, was fantastic. We are so pleased with his work and how our bathroom came out. He installed our new vanity for us too. Although the job was supposed to be done in one day, they could not get 2 people to come out to our house so he had to work alone. It took him 2 days instead of 1 but he was so nice and helpful it was ok that he had to come back the next day. He was very accommodating to the fact that we have a 4 month old, and did his best to work his loud banging or sawing around her napping. The work is seamless and worth every penny. I highly recommend using Bath Fitter to redo your bathroom and to ask for Yuniesky if you are in the South Florida area!

    The Bath Fitter sales rep that we talked to was very thorough and very persuasive. He did a hard sell and said we'd get a 10% discount if we did it that day. We did and they sent an installer who did a good job. We had the bathtub taken out and a shower was put in. We have the shelving, a hold bar put in place and I wanted to use a curtain instead of a door. In the beginning, the shower was very slippery and Mike didn't tell us about that. They said they would come back and put a finish on the floor of the shower that would roughen up a bit. They sent a sample for that, but I haven't had a contact since then.

    Also, we're now having an issue with the ring that goes around the metal where you have the shower head that comes out on a curve metal to. It should stay close to the wall, but it falls down and we can see inside the installation right there. It's supposed to be a lifetime guarantee with no cost. So, we'll see if they will come back and fix it.

    The shower does what it's supposed to do, but I didn't expect it to be so plain and no decorative look to it at all. It's a $6,500 shower which is expensive. I wish that I had not been so pressured to buy that day. I also wish it had that tiled look on the inside, not the plain white flat surface, and sometimes the ones on display have the indention where the grading that looks like it's a tile insert. My daughter came from Oregon a couple of weeks ago and she said that mine is a classic shower. It made me feel really bad.

    A couple of months ago, we sat down with a guy from Bath Fitter as we needed to get a new tub. He seemed very knowledgeable and he showed us a lot of different options. When the installation team came, they were nice and professional. And although it took some time to get their guys to install it, the outcome looks great.     There was a Bath Fitter ad in a flyer in the paper and I called the number and set up an appointment. I didn’t have a clue about what it was and I’m the kind of person who can’t picture something real good. The salesman explained it, had samples and showed me. He also had a lot of pictures. He then showed all the names in the area and I recognized a name of someone I knew. I called them the next day and they told me to come on over and take a look at it because they loved it too. I went over, and when I saw what theirs looked like, it was pretty so that sold me on it too. I had a tub and a shower installed and it goes right through the ceiling and goes over the tub. I bought it in May and they had a perfect day for installing it. They could test what they had to do outside. The product is great and I can’t complain.     We have a vacation rental home on a lake which we hired Bath Fitters from Huntsville, Alabama to install a new shower in. The first installation went well with a few minor fixes that needed to be done. In April of this year, a second installer was sent out to correct the issues. We recently installed a security camera at our home. The installer remained at our home from 8 a.m. and DECIDED HE WOULD SPEND THE NIGHT AT OUR HOME without any authorization from me, the home owner!!! I guess he decided he needed a vacation!! I contacted Bath Fitter the next morning to relay my complete disbelief that the installer spent the night at my vacation home. I spoke with the branch manager who was going to speak with the installer later that day and call me back. I have not spoken with the branch manager since the incident. We had to inventory our home, have cleaners re-clean before our next renters came and have the locks rekeyed.

    AS IF THIS WASN'T BAD ENOUGH - the shower is stalled over an encapsulated crawl space that we use to store extra items that we will use in the future at our vacation rental. (Rugs, furniture etc.) We have a de-humidifier inside the large crawl space to keep the items in good condition. We needed an item from the crawl space a week ago and discovered the crawl space full of old, smelly, stagnant water and our items had been water damaged and full of mold. We discovered that the drain was not connected to the plumbing from the shower that had been installed months earlier. Our renters (up to 14 people at a time are allowed in our house) had been taking shower for 2 months and all of the water was going directly into the crawl space. We have so much damage to the items and the water has leaked into our downstairs bedroom and damaged the carpet and baseboards.

    Unbelievably the Bath Fitter branch sent their plumber out as the representative of the company to deal with the issue. He was very nice and fixed the plumbing issue but still not a word from the branch manager on how all of this will be addressed and paid for. I sent pictures and the office person told me she had forwarded them to the branch manager but not a word from him. I could not recommend Bath Fitter to anyone.

    On 4/25/18 I had a tub to shower conversion installed. My shower has two scratches on the back wall. Due to the technician cutting the wall on driveway and stepping on it as he was cutting it. Thought it was a very odd thing for him to do. Did not know the ramifications until I stepped into the shower to inspect it. I called the warranty company and they said they would fix the problem. A few month later I got a call from sales representative Brian ** who was very rude to me. Not the same nice pitching selling representative that came to my house. Buyer beware he is not the person to talk to if you have a problem. He only cares about his sales pitch. Not sure why he called me anyway. The situation was already taken care of.

    The first enclosure was scratched by the employee that installed it, he also put the shower doors on backward and the caulking was a mess. The fix to the scratched shower was a second enclosure that was glued over the first one, but then doors were found to be the wrong size (had to wait several weeks for the correct size) and again the caulking was a mess. The sales pitch is an enclosure is be installed in 1 to 2 days, it took months being I had to wait on the second employee to come to my home to fix the mess the first employee made and weeks waiting for the correct shower doors... I paid approximately 8,000.00.

    We didn't want to go through the hassle of tearing up our bathroom when we needed it. My husband is on disability and we really needed the bathroom functioning. He can't make it down the basement steps where we have a shower, so we wanted to make that a shower access for him. We had the tub and we had a cast iron tub, which is what I like. I didn't want to get some inferior type of tub and not be happy with it. My daughter got a PVC one and they dropped a tool on it when they were installing it and put a hole in it. I wanted to keep my cast iron, so Bath Fitter formed the thermal around the existing tub, put the shower stall walls, and did the shower head for us.

    Bath Fitter had a home and garden show, so I got to see one up close and that's how I signed up and told them that I wanted to have a rep come over. Our interactions with the sales reps at Bath Fitter were very good. They answered all our questions and gave us the information. They were very friendly. The installation team was good too and very nice. I asked the installer if I could save a couple of the tiles that he had to take off our wall because I wanted a couple in case I needed to replace a couple of tiles in other places in the bathroom. I also wanted to keep the hardware because I wanted to donate it, but he forgot about that and had already dumped it all out. He forgot that I said that, but it was okay. They cleaned up and did everything nicely.

    Now that we've got it all set up, my husband uses it regularly. The bathroom is still narrow, but it works for what we need it for. We're happy with it. I would tell my friends it was a good deal. It was more expensive than I thought, but that would be the only glitch. We needed it soon and I wanted it done in a day, and I ended up paying the price. We couldn't have a bathroom torn up for a week. We probably could have got it done a lot cheaper doing something else but still it looks great and it works. Furthermore, there are guarantees that come along with it if our shower head breaks. If I ever have to have them come back and re-caulk something, they will do it, and that's nice. They will service it even after we've gotten it.

    The product appears satisfactory. The initial install was timely but we had a few problems along the way. The receptionist Lizette did not follow up phone messages when we had problems. The supervisor was to get back to me in two business days - have not heard from that person after two days. We have called and talked with a few different people can’t seem to resolve the problems. There seems to be some communication difficulties in addition to our problems. So our problems: 1) the installer broke our light fixture - Lizette told us to go ahead and get what we need to replace what was broken. We did but for some reason she thought light fixture meant light bulb. We have yet to determine if this will be covered because we can’t reach anyone. 2) We had the job scheduled one month ahead of friends coming to stay - the job is not done yet friends arrive tomorrow.

    The hot cold lever won’t stay in place. It falls to the cold position. We told Lizzette this. She sent a technician out to replace the faceplate because it was the wrong kit (oh we took the day off from work once but the technician never showed!). When he finally did show one week later he wasn’t able to fix the lever problem because it’s a plumbers role. We called again 'cause there was no follow through two days ago and talked with someone who said a manager would reach me in two days. No resolution yet after two days - I guess my guests will be taking cold showers 'cause the lever isn’t fixed. So if you want your bathroom done in one day don’t call Bath Fitter!

    We have had our Bath Fitter bathroom since 2006. Recently, we have discovered water between our liner and the tub underneath. The Bath Fitter representative made a first visit to our home. He said that he tried to squeeze out what water he could and the rest would evaporate in 2 weeks. It’s two weeks later and the water is still there. He makes a return trip and repeats the process. We ask him and the customer service representative just where this water will evaporate to in a closed system. We get no reasonable answer from either. Finally we call Bath Fitter one more time. The representative states that if the silicone that they used fails, the warranty is void. I am trying to sell this house. I need answers, not excuses!

    I often receive Bath Fitter pamphlets here in my home. I have been living at this address for almost 10 years now and only recently I started been worried about doing renovation in my bathrooms. I then went to Bath Fitter to make an appraisal, get prices, etc. Before contact the company, however, I read some reviews at the WEB and I was surprised when part of the complaints were for lack of completeness of the contact. People wrote in some reviews that they called the Bath Fitter technicians to evaluate the best solution and get prices, but something was missing and the budget had to be completed later. People complained that (after the first technician visit) no one else searched for them, that there was no continuity in the contacts. I noticed that in some cases reported people from the company, maybe managers, apologized on behalf of the company and promised to continue the contacts.

    Even with these situations in the reviews, I searched Bath Fitter where I was very well attended, first by phone, then in person at a company unit on Finch Ave E. At this location, I agreed that a technician would come to visit me, evaluate the best solution and give me a price for the services and products to be used. On April 5, 2018, John (who informed me that his family has been in the business for many years and has a branch in Barrie, ON) came to my condo and noticed that I had two bathrooms to renovate. One of them required some analysis of the type of door to be installed and I - before John's arrival - had removed the wallpaper and a piece of wood, which made the place look a little ugly. John looked at it with some disgust (as if it was the worst bathroom in the world) and said that for this bathroom, he would need the opinion of his manager.

    He told me that the manager would communicate with me in the next few days. He gave me a appraisal for the other bathroom and so I waited a week without no contact from people of Bath Fitter. Then I called John on the phone, who said that I had to continue waiting for the manager's response so that I could get a appraisal for the second bathroom. John told me that the manager would communicate with me soon. Well, it's the end of June now and no one has ever come to me. Fortunately, the bathrooms are working properly and I do not have any leakage issues. However I was very unimpressed by the lack of continuity in the contacts. I am as stunned now as I was when I read the reviews. Now, I am confirming that there is indeed something very strange happening in Bath Fitter customer service.

    July 2017 Rick from Bath Fitter came to our home for a free estimate on a new tub/shower in our main bathroom. He was very good at explaining my options and how things worked. The only thing that bothered me was that he kept asking when my husband would be home and if we should wait for him.     When we were in the estimate phase the salesperson led us to believe that we could buy our own custom door and that the Bath Fitter installer would "mostly likely" install it for a small additional fee (on the side I assumed). I thought that Steve was honestly trying to help us save some money. Install day comes around and Eric the installer was very nice and efficient at his job and tool the required 2 days to complete the retrofit. When done I asked if he would install the door which he looked at and to me he couldn't install it outside the deal but Steve (the original salesperson) would come on a Saturday and install it himself.

    Saturday comes and I get a call from Steve saying he could only install the original door and for $250.00 or if I want the new door hung I would have to go through the company and it would be $850.00. He apologized for the "misunderstanding" when he intentionally led me to believe they would hang the door with no problems and a small fee. It was a deceptive selling tactic just to get me to sign for what appears to be an overpriced shower Retrofit ($6 Grand worth.) THEN after blowing off his lie like it was nothing, had the audacity to try and drill me for an additional $850.00.

    I was a fresh homeowner with a pocket of cash and the need to have things done right away so I let myself believe Steve was really trying to help us when all he was doing was saying whatever he needed to say to get us to sign. Again Eric the Installer was Great and we hold no animosity towards him whatsoever. Does anyone have an installer for a heavy glass door for a reasonable price on speed dial???

    I was down at the Quakertown Farmers Market here in Pennsylvania and I heard of Bath Fitter so I figured I would them a shot.xcI kept my own bathtub but I bought the ceiling and the whole tub surround. I started this project with them in March and the sales rep who explained it was very detailed and very professional. I understood everything that he said and then he gave me time to think about what my decision would be without any pressure. The installation guy did the work fairly good. However, when he set that whole unit of the hot and cold water in the bathtub, it didn't have a white seal that was like a glue type of material. So when the water drips down, it goes right through the hole of the bathtub piece. It’s my expense but it would be nice if that unit had a seal. Nevertheless, I would recommend Bath Fitter to a friend.

    I wanted something that could be done in a timely fashion so I went with Bath Fitter. The sales rep that came out here, Dave, was very good and thorough. He laid everything out specifically. I had a tub-shower combo in one of the bathrooms and then a shower in the other bathroom. There was also a shelving unit put into the shower. Josh was the first installer and he was very good. I would consider him a totally professional individual. It took me and my husband five minutes to clean up a little dust here and there and that was it. Also, I had a budget and it stayed within the budget. I was very happy. But I need to have them contact me about the little putty I can't get off the door.

    With Bath Fitter, the process was good and their price was right and better than other remodeling companies. Also, we liked the presentation of the sales rep. So, we went with Bath Fitter and we purchased a tub, a shower, and a couple of shelves. We previously got an estimate from Bath Fitter in 2017 and the rep was fine, but we weren’t ready to commit at that time. Then we called again this year and and we were ready to go. We decided that doing the bathroom remodel was fine. The rep came first for the bath and the shower in one bathroom. Then we invited her back because we wanted another estimate for the shower in our master’s bathroom. Her presentation was great, but the estimate just to cover the shower instead of replacing it was way too high and we were very dissatisfied.

    One man did the installation of our bath and shower. He was excellent and we had a high regard for him. He was polite and pleasant, and he worked hard. He worked non-stop from 8:00 in the morning until 4:00 in the afternoon. After he was done with the installation, he went over with us how to wash our bath and shower and he gave us all the paperwork. It’s great and a pleasure to shower and take a bath now in my new tub.

    BUY THIS PRODUCT! I NOW HAVE A SHOWER AND TUB BETTER THAN THE GYMS!!! Our cast iron tub was in great shape we wanted to keep it. Except the enamel was failing, and mold was growing. To be honest I showered at the gym bc I was afraid of damaging our bathroom further. Our finances saving were short after a few years in Iraq, a newborn and a 9 year long cancer battle. Fixing this was out of the question.

    Bath Fitter did my other bathroom six years ago and it had a tub with the shower. And then last month, I had them do the shower in the master bathroom. The bath and the shower are beautiful. The installer is a very nice guy and he's good-looking too. He did a tremendous job and he did not leave a mess. I live in a double-wide trailer and the shower has been in here for over 20 years. The guy also told me the stuff to use and from white, it turned brown, and then white again. I can wipe it down and it’s a lifetime guarantee. The people at Bath Fitter were the most pleasant and wonderful people that I spoke with. They broke it down for me and if I had any question, they were there to answer.

    My husband really likes the bathtub of Bath Fitter, including the materials the bathtub and shower are made out of. We also had two shelves put in the shower. They finished up the second week of May. They had to do a little bit of plumbing work because I wanted some things to switch around from what we originally had. I wasn’t here when they were doing the installation but my husband took off work and he said that they got stuff done right away. My husband got a few questions and the person who installed it seemed very knowledgeable.

    They were just kind of waiting around for an area plumber to come and do the alteration that we wanted. Finally we called the plumber up because the installers had been waiting for several hours and the plumber had the day mixed up. So the installer had to come back. The installer had to wait for the plumber to come in before he could do anything more and found out that plumber backed out at the last minute so they had to wait for somebody else. So it was kind of a fiasco.

    We ended up taking a part out of the shower because we had to wait and didn’t get the things done. But we had the ceiling part done and it’s made out of the same material that the shower is. The installer did that for us to kind of makeup for having to wait so long and we were very pleased with that. My son, daughter and my granddaughter have used the bath and they like it. We were very pleased with the shower and the tub and how well everything went together.

    One of the sliding glass doors on my shower completely shattered out of the blue. I called the Windsor, Connecticut franchise on 5/2/18 and was told someone would contact me. No one ever did. I called again on 5/15/18 and was told someone would contact me. A Salesman came out a few days later and said that it was indeed just the panel that needed to be replaced (since, of course, glass is NOT covered under the warranty) but that this was a "simple job". I was quoted 7-10 days for the door to come in and was told the door would "be about $100".

    Today, 6/11/18, I had to call and follow up YET AGAIN because again no one contacted me and was told the door was in, and that the total owed was $510. ($215 for the door and $295 for installation.) How is it possible that the installation is more than the door itself? Again, this is replacing ONE PANEL on existing track. Needless to say I will be driving over to pick up this door myself and will figure out how to install on my own, or pay someone else to do it. I will I NEVER recommend this company to anyone - way too much of a headache!

    Bath Fitter was the first one who we talked to. I like the sales rep and what she had to say. The product was the no seams so the water won’t leak through any wall seepage. And she did a good job, knowing the ins and outs of what it could and would do for us and protect us from. Our remodel project turned out exactly as we expected. The installation was quick. The guy had it scheduled for a day and a half and he was done within a day prior to the time he anticipated. He was there by 8 o’clock and he was done by 4 o’clock and didn’t have to come back the next day. I have already recommended them.     I got a whole unit from Bath Fitter three months ago. I’m satisfied but there were some hiccups such as the tub being so slippery. Even though it has the grooves in it, it’s not good. I have to find a mat and they don’t sell too many of those mats without the suction cups. There’s not a whole lot out there to look for. Also, I noticed the water sits there for days if I don’t wipe it up. Other than that, the sales rep was professional and the installer was a pleasant person. It took him about seven hours to complete the installation by himself and he cleaned up afterwards. Bath Fitter has a good price and is something to invest in. I would highly recommend it.

    Water pools in the corners of the tub rim and due to that the silicone is peeling off after only 9 months. Cracks in a corner where wall covering was bent too sharply upon installation. Ill-fitting finishing border and gaps that haven't been filled. Tried sending 2 emails and a warranty claim and I haven't heard anything back yet. Not worth the over $3000 I spent.

    I love Bath Fitter! I have an old steel tub that I couldn't get rid of and my area in my bathroom wasn't big enough to get rid of all that. I also had a bunch of tile that I didn't want with plaster walls and behind the plaster was this wire meshing, so it was impossible to take the tile out to put new tile in. I loved the idea that Bath Fitter's work was guaranteed for life. And they were nice and everything that they advertised.

    The sales rep was fantastic and I loved that the guy who did the quote was the same one who came for the installation because that doesn't always happen. That was a real big plus and people will like that. I've had other problems with people coming to try to fix something then a different guy comes for the second time and something always happens. Bath Fitter's rep was also so professional and very considerate. He also cleaned up and working with him was so easy.

    It was a bonus that he was able to do everything in one day. I thought he wouldn't be able to because I knew he had to check on the wall and the plumbing which meant getting into our plaster walls and I knew from other experiences in my house how difficult it was to tear up the walls. Also, I love the new look of my bathroom. It's gorgeous and I got the larger subway tiles that have a texture in there which are white. I've been getting my house ready to sell and now I'm so sad that I redid my bathroom and have to leave.

    A friend of mine told me about Bath Fitter and then I researched it. The salesman, Mike, was good and it seemed like he was giving me a good deal but after I made the decision and signed the paperwork, I was kind of disappointed in myself because I could have gotten things a lot cheaper. I got the tub, shower and plumbing done in two bathrooms. I own a duplex so I got the top and the bottom bathrooms redone. I didn’t like the installer that much. He didn’t keep me abreast. I basically stayed in my bedroom and then the installer from upstairs came down and my installer told the other installer that they don’t know who did the measurements but they were all screwed up. So my bathroom got bigger seams than regular.

    Bath Fitter had a booth at the Vermillion Farm Show. They sounded like they were going to take care of everything and we didn’t have to do anything. So, they came out, took our shower-bathtub unit out and put a new shower in. The representative was excellent throughout the process and then 2 guys came for the installation. There was a main guy and a trainee and they were both very well-mannered. They knew what they were doing and were very clean too. The only thing is, there's a hand railing to hold on to in case one needs to and it’s really slippery. They should put ribs in it for a person to get a good handhold onto it. Other than that, Bath Fitter is a little costly, but the final product is great.

    My install was May 17, 2018. When the installers left I was quite pleased until I sat on my toilet. The toilet rocked and I called the company to ask what happened. They stated they did nothing with my toilet but my subfloor was rotted. They sent pictures, but I pointed out I was at home during the entire install and questioned why they would not show this to me. They did admit that I should have been informed. They installed over a rotted subfloor without informing me. They took no responsibility even though my toilet no longer sat flush with my floor. This was not a problem before the install.

    Later, upon washing clothes in another room, my washer backed up into the shower floor. Again, this was not a problem before the install. Ultimately, I am left with a floor that slants toward the shower and I am unable to repair my rotted subfloor. They claim no responsibility for any of this. I am immensely unhappy and if I cannot get satisfaction from the company I will be contacting an attorney. Beware.

    I have lived and owned my home for 10 years now. I can honestly say this was one of the worst experiences I have ever had with a company. I can say they fooled me. I am generally a person who saves money, but I do my research and when it involves my home, family, or child, I do not always allow cost to sway my decision. That being said, this appeared to be the best option for what I wanted completed taking into account time, price, reviews, and comparing their product to 4-5 other companies. I can say I made the WRONG decision this time.

    First and foremost, Deborah **, a Sales Consultant, came to our house, discussed the products, provided samples, and a written contract. I looked at reviews, and it seemed alright. I contracted with them a couple weeks later, and paid the deposit of $1350. They were supposed to place a chemical on the existing tile in the shower, measure the shower, and create a liner to fit over the existing shower. They came, measured the shower, and ordered the liner. After they measured everything, they ordered the liner and stated it would take 1-2 weeks to come in. About 3-4 weeks later, no one had called to give me an update. This was the first sign of unprofessionalism that would continue.

    Once they received the deposit, they did not follow through. I had to call to inquire about when the install would occur. They stated that they were behind due to Memorial Day holidays. A phone call would have been nice. When they finally returned my call, they stated at that time they only work between 7-5, which would have been something they should have mentioned at the beginning as we are a working family (my husband and I both work the typical 9-5 and we have a son). I made arrangements for my father to come while they installed everything. They gave me instructions not to use my shower 48 hours before install and that was all they needed.

    Two days before the scheduled install was the beginning of a semi-disaster and the continuation of unprofessionalism. Two days before the install, I received a call from a plumber calling on "behalf" of Bath Fitter stating they wanted to book a time to come out the day before the install (during working hours) to do the plumbing portion. I was not provided any of this information from Bath Fitter. The call from the plumber was the first time I heard about anything related to this. I was previously told the liner install would all be completed in 1 day.

    The day of the install was a complete disaster. I was able to get the plumber to come the same day as Bath Fitter. The plumber showed up tardy, and Bath Fitter came nearly 2 hours late and were unprepared for the install. They did not call myself or my father to let us know they would be late. When they did arrive, they sent 1 man (single person) to do such a big job. I am assuming they were cutting costs although I would be paying about $4500 for the complete job (not a small penny). I guess my money and business means absolutely nothing. That being said, the installer looked at my father to "help" him hold some materials. My 70-year old father is not an installer for your company. The gentleman did not call for back-up and ended up putting a small hole in the wall next to my garden tub and chipping some of the tile on my garden tub (when he was trying to take off the old shower door and place it somewhere).

    My father saw the hole and chipped tiles and the gentleman did not mention anything about the damage. He was trying a "no tell, no fault." Of course, when I and my husband got home, I was very upset they had damaged my bathroom and garden tub area when they were only re-doing the shower. At that point, after the installer had done the damage, he then decided to "call for back-up." I was outraged they sent 1 person to do a clear 2-person job, and the installer was not going to initially acknowledge the damage he had done. Because Bath Fitter sent 1 person to do a 2 person job initially, once back up arrived, the installers were there another 3 hours after they were supposed to be finished.

    After looking at the work, it was sub-par for a "legitimate" company. The lines were not seamless and it looked like amateur work. I have uploaded picture of how the shower was not smoothly installed. The next day, I had to call Bath Fitter. They did not call me at all about the damage or make any acknowledgment. When I called, they seemed surprised I called. The customer service representative Donald ** stated he needed to "investigate," and he would call me back. He called me back the next day and stated that he was sorry for the issue. He then proceeded to ask me what I wanted him to do. After I stated the damages must be fixed, he asked me how? Excuse me!!! Am I a contractor? Is that not your job and what your company "stands behind?" As a result, he asked me to research companies for wall and garden tub repairs. I was not expecting to research any people/companies that could provide these services as I was getting my shower remodeled.

    Nearly 3 weeks after they originally came, they had still not ordered the shower door that needed to be installed. I, husband, any guests, and son were using a single bathroom. They stated they subcontracted this through MyShowerDoor. They did not call to discuss anything about completing the job until I called the office again.

    Finally, about a month later, they came to install the shower door. At that point, they had still not corrected the hole in the wall or addressed the chipped tile on my garden tub. When the same installer showed up by himself, he had the audacity to ask me for the balance. No sir!!! With their unreliability, inconvenient times (yes, they were still asking me to take days off of work or inconvenience a family member to come rectify the issues they created), lack of follow-up, and failure to return phone calls, I knew they would not rectify the tile if I paid the remaining balance. When they installed, the door, they left a gap. As a result, the water leaks out of our shower and we have to clean up a puddle nearly daily.

    I called every 2-3 days to inquire about when someone was coming to correct the hole in the wall. Donald **, the unprofessional customer service representative, continued to look out for the company and was very unprofessional in returning calls and setting up a reputable person to fix the problem. The people he sent never truly fixed the issue and did patch work. They also told me they were only charging Bath Fitter $30 to fix everything, and they were not a true contracted company. It was almost as if this was their "side job" or they did this in their "spare time." All in all, my husband had to try to fix the wall, paint over everything, and the chipped tile is still not fixed.

    Now, 1 year later from signing the initial contract, Bath Fitter has yet to call me back. It is as though my job went into a black hole. They never completed a final walk through or provide me information on how to "properly clean" or care for their product. I still have the contract. I have yet to pay the remainder balance (although I paid a little over half of the total) as they have not fixed the damages or returned my calls. I plan to write the Better Business Bureau about this horrible company and whoever else will listen.

    Lastly, the water leaks out of the shower and puddles on the floor, of which it has never done. My next project is to contact MyShowerDoor myself and have them come and look to ensure Bath Fitter even installed the door properly and rectify that situation. All, in all, they are a horrific excuse for a reputable company. Anyone reading this review should use any other company. I wish I did. Do not let the smiles from Deborah ** or the voice of Donald ** confuse you. They have Bath Fitter's best interest in mind and not the homeowner. I know warn any and every one to NEVER use Bath Fitter.

    We went to one of the business expos in Wilmington, talked to a Bath Fitter rep, and we decided to have an estimate. We're getting close to 70 and it was hard getting in and out of a real bathtub now at our age. We wanted something that was easier in getting in and out of so we wouldn’t have any accidents. And we chose a bathtub with a small lift on it. Brad, the kid that came in for the installation, was really nice. The installation would have only been one day except that the plumber they hired was late and then he took his time. Brad was upset because he wanted to do things and couldn’t do anything until the plumber got done. So, he apologized to us and said that the installation would be finished the following day, which he was here bright and early. Brad did his job in a very professional way and we were really, really pleased with the end-product.

    Unfortunately, the plumber made a rip in our ceiling down in the basement and even Brad didn’t know what happened until he did an inspection after the guy had left. Brad let us know about it, which was really nice because we probably wouldn’t have gone down there and wouldn't have seen it for a long time. So, Brad called and Bath Fitter told him to tell me not to worry about the ceiling because they would take care of it. We got an estimate from Promax out of Decatur, Illinois, the contractor who did work on our house before, and then I sent the estimate in to where Brad said to send it. But I haven't heard anything from it since then.

    Anyway, the new setup is really nice and we love it. Now, we could just get ourselves in there and get everything put back together. It's beautiful. Also, when the Promax contractor came here and looked at the new bathtub, he said that was the best job he'd ever seen. He also said he'd hire Brad in a heartbeat for their company. He said Brad is good and he was impressed with his work and his skills.

    I have a plumber friend who has done work for Bath Fitter. We discussed doing a project in my bathroom and he thought that the best way was to go with them. I had them cover a tub and the walls. The installer was very professional and did an excellent job. Everything was done well but I had thought about putting a grab bar in afterwards. When I get in the tub itself and try to get up it’s not all that easy anymore. And the only thing that bothered me was that quote for the grab bar. They are out of their mind for the amount of money they want for that. Other than that, I’ve recommended them to a couple of people.

    Salesperson visited my mom (She’s 80 years old) and she loved what he presented and how everything was going. Then she asked for the price. His statement was if she is ready to sign the contract now he will give her the price. She said she would never sign a contract without knowing the price and or having time to think it over. He then went on to say how she wasted his time in coming over there if she wasn’t ready to buy. It is unfortunate that this is the tactic the salesperson uses and I am sure that he probably gets many elderly to sign off because of it. If the company is promoting this tactic with sales incentives then I hope they get what they deserve. Nobody should ever be pressured into buying something and be allowed the time to make an educated decision. I am beyond angry and frustrated.

    I made a Google search and saw that Bath Fitter was the closest to me. They could come out quickly so I got the whole shower tub combo from them. The sales rep who came to the home was great. He had some samples for us to look at and he walked us through the bolts and the process. I have a two-year-old who's in everything. So, if anyone could talk me through our chaos, then I’m okay. The installation went fine. The only person who came to do it was professional and he walked me through what he was gonna do and when he was done, he cleaned up after himself. He did a nice job.

    Overall, using Bath Fitter was a fairly easy process. In fact, I've called them out already for a warranty. Sometimes, I feel like warranties can be more hassle than they’re worth, but it wasn’t a hassle to have Bath Fitter come out and fix the caulking around the floor, which wasn’t even their fault. We had the floor replaced, so it was nice.

    Bottom line do not do business with Bath Fitter. On January 19, 2018 a contract was signed to remodel two bathrooms. Installation was scheduled and completed on the date promised. However, that was when my problems began. The installation was incomplete, the corner soap holder was "not available" at the time of installation which we were told after the installer said he was done and the wrong hardware was used rather than the ones we had selected and paid extra to install. After 8 weeks and numerous phone calls and being told the check was coming, we finally were sent a refund for the extra hardware cost, and still no corner soap dish.

    Ten (10) weeks after installation and even more phone calls with no reply, we finally got a call that they would come out and install the corner soap holder. At which time we reminded the office that we were having a problem with the shower that the water was not draining. They said they would correct the problem when they came out to install the soap dish. They came out installed the soap holder and examined the drainage in the shower and said the shower would need to be repaired or reinstalled. That was 12 weeks ago and we still have not heard from Bath Fitter. I can only recommend that if you want to overpay for an inferior product improperly installed then do business with Bath Fitter, I for one have contacted my lawyer for him to handle the situation. Let's see how long they will ignore the lawsuit.

    We recently had Bath Fitter here to remodel our bathroom shower. It is the only shower we have in the home and it was important to get the job done right. We trusted Bath Fitter to do the job because my family had done it when it first came out years ago with no issues. The price was steep but to have your bathroom back in 24 hours was crucial. We had a scheduled appointment for a month from now but it was pushed up due to a cancellation and they sent two gentlemen to do our install. They worked very fast they were out of the house in less than 4 hours. Part of the install was they needed to redo the plumbing behind the wall where the problem is now. We waited longer than the 24 hours. They recommended just to be sure everything set properly.

    Now after two showers and a bath we have our walls bubbling with water behind it on my main floor below the tub. To add to the matter it is a holiday weekend, Memorial Day, and nobody is around to give us guidance. They're trying to call our rep but he does not answer either. Now we are stuck without a shower or any type of idea as to how this will be fixed and who will pay for this. We cannot even call a regular plumber because they're not going to be able to fix the wall once they're done with the job. Take caution and be sure that your installers thoroughly test before they leave. In my case my wife said they ran it for maybe 30 seconds and then the job was done and they were gone. Hopefully it's just a revisit where Bath Fitter needs to get behind the wall and fix what they didn't do right the first time.

    My experience with Bath Fitter was very good. We were really happy with it. We've heard about them a lot through the years. But we saw them at a home show one time and we wanted to have our shower done so we stopped and asked some questions, and the rep set us up. The first rep that came went over with what I wanted and how much the shower was gonna be. He was very helpful and not pushy at all. I was very comfortable with him.     I do not recommend this company. I signed up for a new shower, a new bathtub, & a bath & shower combo. 1st they set appt to do all 3 in one day. They failed to finish, said be back Tomorow, did not show up said be there next week. They installed shower rod way to low & I said so to installer who replied too late now. Then they failed to return again. When they did come back they installed a shower head on my bathtub that was not suppose to have a shower head. They said, "Be back Tomorow to rip out & reinstall." No show. No call.

    Then they said, "Be there Friday," no show no call. Then set appt for Friday. Called day off & said they did not have product. "Be there in a week in a half." This is beyond incompetence. No offer of explanation or compensation for my lost time & delay in my other trades that cannot finish until BATH FITTER comes back to fix a terrible effort. The product itself seems not worth the price at $17,000. I would of been better off going to Vegas or setting my money on fire. I feel ripped off but mostly I feel perplexed that this company is in business. Do not hire this company.

    We had used Kitchen Saver to redo our kitchen about a little over a year ago and we knew that Kitchen Saver and Bath Fitter were affiliated somehow. After seeing the display about Bath Fitter and talking with the salesperson at the vendor fair, we decided to get an estimate and we liked what we heard. Somebody came to the house, made the sales pitch, and spent time asking us questions. I appreciated the fact that he gave my husband and I the chance to talk. And then, he was very clear about what the next steps in the process would be and things took place the way that he said they would.

    There was a little bit of a delay in scheduling from what had originally been estimated but somebody called and talked to me about that and explained what was going on. When they came to measure, my husband was here and he said that all went fine. And then as far as the installers went, there was one person who did the job and he was fine, too. There was somebody relatively new, I think a new sales person who was there just to observe. We had no problems at all and the quality of the job done was very good.

    My husband saw Bath Fitter’s commercials on TV and he talked to one of his friends who had it done. We bought the tub and the shower in April and it was good dealing with the sales rep. He explained everything to us on how everything worked. My husband was home with the installation team and by the time I got home, they were finishing up.     We really love Bath Fitter. We got a shower with a seat and the experience is seamless. The sales representatives were wonderful, very thorough and very professional. And the young man that installed it was also very professional. He's only 27 years old and you would think he had done it all his life. He was really thorough, made sure he didn’t drop a bunch of stuff and very conscientious. He cleaned up after himself real well, explained stuff to us and we were really happy. Then they had the plumber come out and everything's wonderful. He didn't complain at all.

    We placed a new flooring down and did some remodeling in the bathroom. We were told that we could call Bath Fitter and have them come in and do the caulking between the shower and the floor. I hope that's true because we'll be calling them soon. We have recommended Bath Fitter to people. They thought the product was really cool, the way it looks. I just wish I got the rain shower because it would be kind of cool. But I like the quality of our shower and it's very easy to keep clean. I would squeegee squeeze it and I just clean the glass shower doors with glass cleaner. Overall it's super excellent.

    We worked with another company on our other bathroom and we were happy with that company too. But that bathroom needed a total redo and they did the cabinets, the sink and everything. What we needed to do now in this bit of bathroom was basically the tub and Bath Fitter doesn’t do a whole bathroom. The sales rep was very knowledgeable and the tech came out the first day, got the old tub out and did all the prep work. On the second day, he came back and he had cut one piece short. And he’s coming from a place that's close to three hours drive away. So we told him he could just not do it all the way to the ceiling. But he said no. He said the job needs to be done right and so he did that.

    He went back and cut the correct piece, and then he came out that same day. He would’ve been probably done around 2:00 or 3:00 in the afternoon, but he got done around 8:00 at night because he had to make the extra trip to and from Sioux Falls. We were impressed with that. He didn’t take any shortcuts even though we said it’d be okay. They had to take the previous tub out because it was an old fiber glass one. So, they cut and removed that, and then they put the new one in. This was in February. The tech did an awesome job. We’ve been kind of working on the bathroom anyway so we had some of our mess that we hadn’t cleaned up and he cleaned it up. So, the place was cleaner than when he came. We have a bit of a distance to go into the bathroom, so he laid down cover cloths all over our carpet in the kitchen area. That way, when he was going in and out of the house, he didn’t make a mess. He was very, very concerned about this.

    We’re really happy with the bath tub the way it is and happy with the installation. It was a bit on the pricey side, but it was in line with what we paid for the other bathroom. The first day when the tech came a bit later than when we anticipated, he said he was stopping to correct something on someone that was on the way. So, it sounds like Bath Fitter fixes what they’re supposed to.

    I got the shower with the two shower heads and the stool from Bath Fitter. We were gonna go with one of these about five years ago but we didn’t have that kind of money at that time. When my husband passed away, I took some of my money and had it installed. The sales rep was kind, generous, and very friendly. The installation went great and the installers cleaned up after themselves until they finished the job. Bath Fitter has been awesome and if there’s any way that you want the walk-in tub or the shower to be, they can do it. They do a great job.     When we first got the tub the experience was very good. They came out did install and it was beautiful. After a period of time a small defect and crack showed up in bottom of tub. I contacted and sent pictures and was told a new tub was scheduled to be install within a few weeks. This was Nov. 14, 2017. Then after scheduled they decided they need someone to come out and look at the crack before replacing. We were notified of this on Dec. 22 2017 after they supposedly had a tub scheduled to replace. Branch manager finally came out January 12, 2018 and said they would replace no problem. So we get promised to install on February 2018.

    Installer shows up and after 1 hour says "sorry they sent wrong tub". We are promised it will get taken care of immediately. Next installer shows up on May 4th and guarantees everything has been checked and good to go. They cut out old tub part way and then come and tell me, "Sorry we AGAIN have the wrong tub." I am promised that day new tub will be on a truck by May 8th and would for sure be installed May 18th. Well I get a message on May 16th they have a machine broke down and tub will not be ready by May 18th for install. This is going on 8 months and I have a guest bathroom with a tub partially cutout and only promises. Great customer service when we wanted to buy. Very disappointed with follow up service.

    I was looking at the TV ads and at first, I liked the idea about how you could custom mold the shell over the top of the tub. Then I got to thinking that I wish I can just rip the tub out and put in a whole new shower unit so I made inquiries. Bath Fitter had a salesman stop by and talk to me. I liked what he had to say and the products they use so we hired them to do it. We signed the contract in November and it was put in in January. They took out my old bathtub unit and shower surround, and put in a new shower with a diverter valve for a handheld shower and a new drip pan. We also got the Basco shower doors and we just love it. I like the seamless construction of the shower surround and the lifetime guarantee against leaks. It was very well-done and since it’s acrylic, it doesn’t take up much space as the old shower surround so I gained a good 3 inches in my bathroom.

    The installer was fantastic and very professional. He put down drop cloths and cleaned up after himself. Overnight, he did a wonderful job. We own a house in Tipton and we had a bathtub that has a crack on it. We liked the job so much that we contacted Bath Fitter to have them rip the bathtub and put a new shower in that house. Bath Fitter should keep doing what they’re doing because I couldn’t be happier. We have recommended it to friends and we told them that Bath Fitter gets things done quickly and the way that things are cleaned up when they’re done. Also, you can’t beat the quality and the construction of the materials.

    I went on the internet, looked Bath Fitter up and looked at reviews. It looked like exactly what I wanted. I liked their website, what it said and the fact that they've done a lot of bathrooms. I found out that they were experienced and reliable so I gave them a call. The sales representative was a good guy. Our interaction was straightforward and upfront. And the person who came to do the installation was very skilled. He really knew what he was doing. It was not a trivial job. It was an old house and it looked horrible before. It looks great now.

    I had the tub-shower combination installed six months ago. They put a laminate over the tub and then the walls around the shower.     We had a good experience with Bath Fitter and we're happy with them. We were gonna do the tub overlay, but when their reps looked at it they said that our tub is in really good shape. So, we had a shower installed above the existing tub. The installer who came out did a good job and cleaned up everything. He also had an apprentice with him that day. I tried to keep my distance but I was keeping a close eye on everything. Overall, I would recommend them. The price was a bit on the high side but you get what you pay for.

    I purchased the tub and the shower surround from Bath Fitter back in October and the sales rep was nice and very informative. He let us know what was gonna happen and explained everything. There was only one guy who did the installation and he did a really good job. I’m taking this house up to sell and I’ve been working on it part-time. I’ve been away and it’s now probably two or three weeks away from being put on the market, so the tub hasn’t even been used but I’m hoping that there are no leaks and no problems. It was a little overpriced and it was more than what I was expecting to pay. I had in mind that it was gonna cost between $3,000 to $3,500, but I was told it was $5,100. I needed the job done and I didn’t know anyone else that did it so I said okay. Still, I was pleasantly surprised with how it looked afterward. I was also pleased with them doing it in one day and I’d recommend them.

    The owner of the company, as mentioned, called me the day after I expressed my displeasure at being told I would be charged $850 to repair the sagging walls. This was on Friday. He told me the lady I spoke with was mistaken about the warranty and took full ownership of the issue and had a gentleman out today, Monday, to re-adhere the walls and ceiling. I was telephoned this morning and given advance notice. Gino showed up on time, was professional, and did the job. So, my experience with the Oklahoma City franchisee of Bathfitter went from great to poor to great again. The caveat to all parties simply is that, if you're a homeowner and contract with them, make sure you review and have in possession any warranties for workmanship and product life.     I purchased a shower stall package ten years ago. I was happy with the service provided by the local franchisee. And was happy with the product. Bragged on it. Got compliments on it. Tile stinks! But, recently, two of the walls have come loose from the adhesion and the ceiling sags. I called them. They were out the next day. Still happy with the service. The guy who came out indicated they had run into this problem before. I was surprised to learn from him that the adhesion is, of all things, double-sided tape. And that they had had problems with it so, about five years ago, they augmented the double-sided tape with a liquid adhesion. He complimented me on how well I took care of the stall. Looks new. I take care of my stuff. He took some photos and said he would report back to the office and they would call me the following week. They didn't.

    I called them Thursday, four days into the week. They were friendly though. But, that's when their rep said they would charge me $850 to have the remedial work done. They said they had a 5 year warranty on their work. Nothing in any of the papers they gave me says anything of the sort. Bath Fitter's product warranty is clear. It applies strictly to the acrylic product. Not to installation. So, here I paid nearly $4000 for a product that was supposed to last as long as I owned my home and now I'm getting the runaround from the Bath Fitter reps about repairing sagging walls that are doing so through no fault of my own.

    I didn't have that much downtime and with Bath Fitter, it would be a quick installation. Also, they were running a special at the time. There was a quick response when I started to inquire.     I installed a Bath Fitter tub & enclosure with glass doors...right after the installation the shower doors had a chip on it, I called and they came out and said they would have to replace the whole door and I passed on that because it was just completed but I said if more chips happen, I will replace. Well now there are more chips and there's some bubbling and chipping on the top side of the tub! I called service and they said the shower doors can be replaced for free but I would have to pay $350/hr for labor and it could take 2-3 hours! What? Then I asked about the bubbling and the said if that's the silicone, that's not covered either! So people beware, the lifetime warranty is a farce!!! These units are quite expensive to put in and if you think they will last a lifetime because of their warranty, don’t believe it!

    I was looking at other remodeling companies but Bath Fitter was going to take less time to install and the price was more reasonable for the work being done. Also, they don’t disrupt your life for an extended period of time, it’s convenient and easy to do. The rep was personable, attentive and concerned with what my needs were. The appointment was made well enough in advance so that our family could make the adjustments we needed to make. And luckily for us, we have two bathrooms and we were all able to use one bathroom without screaming at each other. Only one person did most of the installation. I was concerned because it started raining, but they came anyway. The installer's supervisor came with him and once they started, he went over again what he would be doing and the installer got to work.

    We ended up doing the over-bath and the shower door. We were debating whether to just change it to a shower but I still wanted a bathtub. And because I'm getting older, getting in and out of the bath tub is still gonna be a challenge. But I'm working around that. I’m gonna get me a little step to put right at the entrance. The space for entering and exiting is limited to one side because we’ve had the bathroom set-up. You couldn't use one end to get in and out because of where the commode is sitting. So, I need someone to come back and do an adjustment on the door and a little taping up at the top. But if I had to do it over again, I would not have put the shower door on that bathtub.

    The turnaround wasn’t as fast as I expected and we had to wait at least two months. I thought I was gonna call and meet with them and the following week, they would be showing up to do the work. When I found out the time it was going to take, it was a bit disappointing because I wanted to bring some order to my house before Christmas so I had to move to another mindset. But I would share with friends my satisfaction with the quality of the items I purchased at the time and the efficiency of getting it installed.

    I have been using my shower now for 10 days and unfortunately I am less than satisfied. Firstly the material that was placed was not as hard and sturdy as the material described in the consultant's album. It is a soft plastic material that can easily bend and possibly break. I was placing my foot at the lower edge of the shower and it gave way allowing water to seep into the walls. We waited a week after installation to let everything set before use. Also the installer asked my husband to step into the shower immediately after installing it and I had told my husband later the main customer service advised against it, so why would the installer have him do that? Additionally the shower doors do not stay closed.

    Finally, we noticed that the installer dented our drywall of our bathroom on installation. I have pictures from before the final touches were placed and after. I want to know what can be done. This is not satisfactory and a little misleading if you have people purchase a product based on material that is not what they are going to receive. In summary, the installer did not do the job right. The seams came undone and the shower door does not close. The quality of the product was sub par and was not the material that was shown in the consultation. I have reached out to Bath Fitter regarding my concerns and no reply.

    I liked Bath Fitter since they would come and do everything all at one time. We didn't have to have one person in to break down the wall or whatever. They would do everything, and it would be done within 24 hours. The rep came and brought everything to show us the accessories and different models of the wall he has to get. Very thorough, much helpful, described the accessories, and helped me decide what I want and what I didn't want. He's very helpful. An installer came early that morning and did the tub and shower. I felt sorry for him since I could tell he didn't feel good. But he did an excellent job and finished everything from the time he started. I'm very pleased with the bathroom. I knew Re-Bath and Bath Fitter but I didn't know one from the other. So when I decided to call, I just called back to that and Bath Fitter came out and asked me what I got. They came and installed on the 2nd of February. The rep was a nice young man, very professional and he did his job. He also cleaned up everything when he left. The bathroom has good quality but it cost too much. $10,000 for a shower was not cheap but it’s paid for and I ain’t had any problem about it.     I was looking for a whole bathroom remodel but with my son moving in as quickly as he did, I knew that the tub and shower area really needed work done because we had mold up at the top. He’s a grown man and he works at the landscaping, and he stinks. I got the shower and tub done by Bath Fitter, and it was the top piece that goes on top of the ceiling. It was cheaper than a couple of other places. In addition, their salesman was very nice and showed me how the discount worked. I figured that I could pay $1900 at the beginning, and then the rest upon completion.

    I was surprised that Bath Fitter only sent one guy to do the installation but it didn't take him long. And if I had to make a pit stop, he didn’t have any problems with moving out. So far, everything seems to be held in place.     Our entire shower needed to be replaced. We had a crack there and we didn't know if there was mold. We spoke with the rep with Bath Fitter and he explained to us that if there's anything that needs to be done, Bath Fitter would do whatever work needs to be done to complete the installation. They would take care of it as opposed to saying, "Okay. Well, you guys have to get this fixed before we could complete the installation or what have you." We figured if we were to go through someone like Home Depot, we may end up having to deal with more than one contractor and we didn't want that possibility. The sales rep was nice, very professional, and answered all of our questions. The sit down was pretty lengthy, but overall, it was a good experience.

    They installed an entire unit, the shower with the door and the installer explained to me everything that they needed to do and what they're going to do. And I just left them to their work. They got it done in the time frame and there were no issues. After the installation, he went over the proper cleaning and care. Overall, it was a pretty good experience. They were upfront with us about everything and I don't have anything that I would change. Some people may think it is a bit pricey by a comparison, but I think it is worth it in the end, especially with our situation. However much more you think you're spending, it may all even out and with less hassle to just go with Bath Fitter and depending on what it is you're dealing with. If it's a situation similar to ours, it's worth the cost.

We did the paperwork in November and he said it was going to be done the week before Christmas but we didn’t hear from anybody. There was no communication as far as the installation was concerned. We got a call from a 1-800 number to set up the installation date but they didn’t do the job until January so, it was a long process. I’m disappointed with that and if I had known it was going to take that long, I would not have gone with Bath Fitter. Also, we dropped a shampoo bottle and there was a scratch on it. I thought that wouldn’t happen. But the installer was good. He was a very nice guy and he did the job.

    We purchased a tub enclosure right before Thanksgiving and Bath Fitter did a nice job. Their advertisement works well and we chose them for the guarantee. The sales representative came and told us how much it would cost. He did a pretty good job. The thing though was that once he left, we couldn't get him back. We couldn't call him and there was not an easy access to that salesperson. That aside, I like the person who installed our product. He was a good guy and we're pleased with our product.

    I needed something done with my bathtub and some friends have had Bath Fitter and they recommended them. The sales rep was very good. He was very honest that he wouldn't say things that I didn't really need. Also, he wasn't pushy selling additional items so I was very pleased with that. I got the walk-in shower installed January 10th. The installers were very thorough. It was supposed to take two days, but there was a blizzard forecast for the next day. They came early and by 3 o'clock, they had it all done. I'm very pleased that I did it with Bath Fitter. It was a little on the expensive side, but it was worth it and I enjoy it very much. I'd suggest my friends to contact them and have a representative talk with them.

    Our friends had their bathroom done by Bath Fitter and they told us they had a very good experience when we asked them about it. We didn't want to replace our cast iron bathtub and we only wanted to get the overlay. We talked about maybe getting it painted like some people do, but we found out that was not the way to go when we researched it. We wanted to have a new tub and so we purchased from Bath Fitter. The sales rep was very upfront yet very helpful and polite. No punch was pulled and we didn’t feel like he was snowing us. Then the installation was excellent. The only thing that I’m disappointed upon is that we referred a friend and we gave the name of our friend as a referral when we went ahead with them. Our friend was supposed to get something but she never did. Other than that, we were very pleased with Bath Fitter.

    This was our first experience with the Bath Fitter installers in our home. Our master shower was in dire need of repair due to the crack in the floor and the poor look of the old tiles. We canvassed around the home shows for an installer and had three businesses give us estimates for the shower replacements. We were very impressed with the Bath Fitter representative, Deborah **, and the information she provided. We selected the Bath Fitter to do the install on April 26. Josh began the install at about 10:00 am and reviewed with us the install plans for accuracy. He then prepared the work area with drop cloths and necessary protection to keep the dust from tracking. He was very professional and knowledgeable about the process of removing the old tiles, drain, and reinstalling a complete new shower with the doors. He completed the job within about six hours.     It was a second home at the beach and I knew no other contractors so I thought I'd get an estimate from Bath Fitter. I was happy and pleased with the company and the sales rep that I dealt with down here in Maryland, so I went with them. The interaction I had with the sales rep was helpful and nice. We had the tub removed and Bath Fitter put in a walk-in shower, and we also had them install a grab bar and some shelves. The installer came in, did his job, and left. It was a day and a half job and and he did a really good job. He was courteous and he put floor mats down so the carpet wouldn’t get messed up. I know some other people that have a place down the shore and I told them that if they need any bathroom work, I would definitely recommend Bath Fitter because, when you’re from out of town, you don’t know which contractor to go with. I was pleased with the workmanship of Bath Fitter.

They came out, measured and gave us an estimate and we got a walk-in-shower from them seven months ago. Everybody we dealt with from the salesman to the workers were very professional, courteous, and respectful. So far, we love our shower. It was a little pricey but we had the money.     I am in the contract phase of purchasing a new home. The loan type for the home purchase is Construction Remodel loan. My lender requested that I get quotes for the work I want done so the loan can be completed. I called the JAX location and told my story, and the representative told me Bathfitter is a licensed and bonded company and they can only deal with the homeowner. I told her this is a quote for completing the loan and when I take possession I will use them. She said they cant help... LOL, I will never use this company.

    We got a tub with a shower head from Bath Fitter. The sales rep was nice and the installation went good. The first guy hurt his hand and so we had another guy come in the next day, but both of them were fine. I had to get a permit and I didn't get it, but evidently, Bath Fitters got it. The salesman could have said something about the permit. I didn't know anything about it and a couple months later, I'm getting a letter saying they need to inspect the tub. And then, I got inspected.

    We wanted a tub that directly fit the area and Bath Fitter was supposed to get it done two days max. They also had a lot of good reviews so they seemed to be the right company for us. The sales reps came out to the house, took measurements, they went through our options and we got a price quote. It was also nice to have it in and out and be done with it so we had the tub-shower combo, corner shelves and hand bar installed at the end of January. The installation team was super friendly and they got to our home when they said they were gonna get there. They also cleaned up after themselves and did a good job.
