I've wanted a pool ever since I moved in to my house, about eight years ago. My friend got a pool from Anthony & Sylvan, which is why I chose them. I got the free-form pool and a spa. My kid loves it and I got a bar at the pool. The bar stools look very cool. Everything is great. The team was really good, helpful and on time. I’ve always been in the spa but I hadn't really been able to get into the pool much because they had finished it in the winter time. I'm looking forward to summer.

We had our underground pool and hot tub put in by Anthony & Sylvan. Our design consultant was great. He listened to us and stayed well within our price range. Then our project manager was really attentive to us, and always answered calls and emails, and came out really regularly to check on the progress. He was really available.

We did a lot of research for the pool companies in our county and talked to our neighbors who utilize various pool companies. We decided that Anthony & Sylvan had the best reputation for quality and service in our area and we were impressed with the work on some of our neighbors' homes that had used their pools. We had ours in a lagoon-shaped pool so it's got kind of three loaves to it - two shallow end and then one eight-foot deep end. We did the upgraded granite with the pebble finish. There's a couple of seating areas on it which I think are standard for their pools. We have the diving board and we also had a slide added to it as a water feature.

We thought about having a pool for one or two years now. I looked up Anthony & Sylvan online and saw their background and reviews. Our pool is a seven foot kidney-shaped one with a space back in there, but with no spa. We had a little delay because of the rain but other than that, there were no problems. The pool looks nice and is easy to maintain. I've had it for three quarters of a year now. I liked that the kids have fun and get busy in it during the summer. If I have a friend who would want a pool, I'd definitely recommend them.

My pool was built by Anthony & Sylvan 25-30 years ago when I found out that they were the best in the field. So when it was time to renovate my pool, I had them again. They did the retiling and recoping. Everything was nice. The sales rep came to the house and explained everything in detail - the time frame, the cost involved - and we signed up on the spot. The renovation made my pool look more up-to-date. It looks like a new pool and very modern in appearance.

I’ve wanted a pool for a few years so we can have some relaxing family times, where we could hang out and barbecue. We’ve had some friends who used Anthony & Sylvan. It’s the only company that would come out and actually look at the site and see if a pool would work really well because of the land slope and some other landscaping issues where we wanted the pool to be. The project manager was really on top of everything and took care of any complaints that we have right away. The project team did their work in a timely manner and did a good job as well. Now we have a free form pool. I really like the waterfall and the sun deck they put in there.

I chose Anthony & Sylvan Pools because it is a national brand but it was my salesman ** that really sold me on my pool. He was absolutely wonderful. I have a medical condition and he listened to everything that I needed. He made some addendum to the work before they broke ground. He made sure that he extended the benches within the pool because of my medical condition (I customized it. It can only be from 2 feet to 5 feet type of thing.) ** would always be my go-to guy. He would contact my project manager if I was having an issue. I felt so comfortable with him that he would come out to the house when I had a problem or concern.

I like what Anthony & Sylvan did to my pool - it was almost like a brand new pool. We had them do a pool service upgrade. They did the original construction and did an excellent job in putting the pool in as far as doing the work properly, so I contacted them when we were having some problems with the top. The consultant was very good. He came out and explained what needed to be done and why. Initially, we placed some tiles but he showed me that there was a little bit more damage than I thought. He was very honest, thorough and made every effort he could to get us a good price. The renovation team moved ahead the day that initially I requested. They did every effort they could to accommodate a day that would work best for us. They were on time and made sure that we were kept informed of everything we needed to do and what they're gonna do.

We have heard great things about Anthony & Sylvan so we hired them to build a brand new pool with cement bottom. We got the onyx concrete and the tile is really nice. We also got the sun bathing deck in the pool. They're very knowledgeable and did a great job - it's gorgeous! Don ** took care of us. He's an old friend of ours that we didn't know worked there.

My husband decided on Anthony & Sylvan. Because it's an old name, it's been around for a long time with a good reputation. We had a new concrete pool installed. We only had it open for a week. The people who dug it and put it together were very professional and nice. It took a lot longer than they said to get started but once it finally got started it was a good experience.

Anthony & Sylvan was the original manufacturer of the pool that was at the house I bought and I had them do a complete renovation as I was most impressed by the quote from them. They sandblasted the interior surface and resurfaced. They replaced the coping and the concrete deck all the way around the pool as well as some return pipings and the skimmers. Early on, I had the most conversations with the salesman. The job was done in phases and it was broken out over 2 seasons and there were times when there was no communication but then there were times when it was fairly intense. Everything was as advertised and I have no regrets. It was mostly what I expected.

We got Anthony & Sylvan Pools to install a new concrete pool. They were professional, very attentive and well-organized. All the crews were very nice, informative and were very skilled at what they were doing. When there was a problem, it was fixed immediately. It was an excellent and stress-free experience.

Every team from the company was absolutely professional and they cleaned up the work area behind. It was a joy to watch them work. My only issue was with the general foreman. He didn't stay up with the job and they forgot to put a railing in. The process was slowed down for about a month because the railing wasn't put in before the concrete was put in. They bickered back and forth whose fault it was and whose responsibility it was to fix it. It took a month for them to straighten it out but once they did, it only took 45 minutes to fix that problem, then everything was finished up and the pool is absolutely gorgeous.

Pool started day before Thanksgiving, still never finished. They're unaware what goes on site after paying. They are unaware what goes on. First to start it was going smooth for most part. At p trap and backwash with fill line, only one was completed. Until two days after repeated telling them for weeks those were never done. Guess if I never informed them would not have been done. Then in early December waterfall was not built to size in contract, told would fixed next day. And not fixed for two months. Acid wash in decking still not done. And let's just say since mid-December plaster was suppose to be done and still undone. It's excuse after excuse. They don't inform you of nothing unless I repeatedly email or call yourself. Only help you may get is from Rick ** which is sales guy at League City. Maybe they should promote him because he seems to be only one that can help at all. Pretty expensive hole for only dogs to enjoy swimming in.

I had Anthony & Sylvan work on a new salted pool for me. We had a Pebble Tec and waterfall. The team was very professional and very knowledgeable. Overall, the experience was mostly satisfactory and they were very accommodating.

I heard about Anthony & Sylvan from my sister-in-law. I had them install our inground pool and spa. I'm pleased with the product and the service so far has been good.

I heard about Anthony & Sylvan through an acquaintance. They provided me new installation of concrete salt water pool. They were responsive to any concerns or issues that we had. It was a real good experience. There were some issues, though, like they had our pool in the fall but I don't feel like they were on top of it. They weren't as informative about the process other than digging the pool and what would be entailing around the pool like the issues after the pool was put in as far as the surrounding of the pool.

We chose Anthony & Sylvan for the warranty. We had a freeform, 3 ft. by 6 1/2 ft. chlorine pool on the deck and we liked the waterfall. We had a great salesman but a horrible construction manager at the beginning. We were in a limbo a lot and the salesman couldn’t help us. He never showed up and the communication is horrendous. We would have something scheduled and nobody would show and at 5 o'clock I'd get a phone call from their office in Houston saying 'We're calling to tell you that they're not going to show up today. We need to reschedule.' 'Well, okay it's 5 o'clock. You don't think I figured that out by now. You're not going to show up and just excuses.' 'Well, it rained.' 'Where did it rain because it didn't rain here? I don't understand.' Just the lack of communication was probably the biggest culprit that Anthony & Sylvan has. The main office does not communicate with you. We walked away from the company leaving everything hanging but eventually there was another manager that picked up midway through the process and did a great job.

Anthony & Sylvan installed our inground concrete pool. It went kind of bad at first. Our project manager quit or left and then the big zone manager came out, got involved and made sure everything was working correctly. It all ended quite well so that was a good reconciliation. Anthony & Sylvan Pools did what they said they would do.

I was going around trying to find different pool vendors and my wife was working for a contractor in their office, and Anthony & Sylvan had been building a pool for one of the houses that they were working on. My wife thought that they had done a really good job in putting that together. She said that they seemed to be doing a good job and in a very quick manner. So that's why we went with them. I went down, got a bid from them and it was very reasonable.

Their project manager was on site, on the spot, very quick to respond, made us feel assured that everything was done in a timely manner. All the different teams at different stages were efficient, on time, and were great. When you want to go with a quick and efficient swimming pool company, Anthony & Sylvan is the way to go.

We were wanting to talk about how to put a pool in so I called my close friend and she said that she used Anthony & Sylvan, so I called them and had them do it. I like the style of pool we chose. Our pools are big, 22,000 gallons. It got a pool and a hot tub. We have three fountains and tile on the edge, and stone on the top part, around the pool. The team who worked on the pool was very professional, very knowledgeable, and always kept me up to date on our building. Our rep was really great, too and very helpful. They were great to work with, very knowledgeable and helpful.

I chose Anthony & Sylvan because they were a big company. They installed our granite pool and hot tub. The whole thing has been great, from the salespeople to the service and foreman. Everybody was great. They were easy to work with and I would recommend them to friends.

This is the second work stoppage this company has done because of their failure to comply with the agreed addendum to the contract concerning the concrete. Poor supervision overall during the construction process. Breach of contract concerning selection of tile (which ended up being substandard to the cost we have paid thus far). I will not recommend this pool company to anyone in my neighborhood and have discouraged two families and potential pool buyers in contacting Anthony Sylvan. I have never seen a company that has such a terrible response time in regards to getting back to their customers. What should be a very joyous time with our new investment has turned out to be a big disappointment.

I bought my Anthony Sylvan Pool on May 2, 2014... I paid in full, cash. It's now Dec. 2, 2014… The pool caved in, this company buried pipes too deep, covered with sand, dirt, then concrete decking. The pipes (3) broke and flooded the block. I had to pay this too. They cut hole in decking to fix pipes, ugly. Pipes still leaking... No one, even warranty dept. will help me. I had city dig it all up, hired a contractor, plumber... They all report is a pool problem. So Anthony Sylvan sent dump truck full of dirt and covered it all up without even looking… I paid hundreds for plumber and Anthony Sylvan covered up problem... Anthony Sylvan could care less about us, the customer. They care about your $$ and nothing else.

Anthony & Sylvan provided me a gunite in-ground pool. They were wonderful. They immediately answered any of my questions. I had a mental picture of what I wanted but I’m not an artist. I described it to the guy when he came out, and he came out with the design as my mind’s eyes pictured it. He explained to us what would happen, what the cost would be, and everything was exactly what they said it would be. There wasn’t anything negative about it. When they said they would call, they would call. I’d recommend them. The experience was easy and breezy.

We were searching the area to see who would actually build pools in Pahrump which is a little distance from Vegas. We found Anthony & Sylvan on the Internet with several others but when we talked to them in person, we felt that they were the best one. They were willing to work with us and Nye County, because of the soil, has a lot of restrictions, and they had built a lot of pools in the area. They did everything, from the digging all the way through educating us with the start up and everything else. But they had to use a special concrete mixture because of the type of soil that we have and we were really close to the mountainside. Customer accommodation. Our favorite feature of the pool is the waterfall.

I heard about Anthony & Sylvan through my nephew. They came to redo the brick and the tiles that were coming off. It was very professionally done. Job well done and I would recommend them.

We had Anthony & Sylvan renovate our pool. They worked on the tile and the coping. It was too expensive to have everything done. Salesman was very personable and pleasant. We enjoyed talking to him. He was straightforward on the possibility of having the pool done in several segments and that was fine. We enjoyed the experience. Overall, it was quite pleasant.

I did research on building a pool, and learned that Anthony & Sylvan was one of the contenders. I contracted them do a custom-built in-ground pool for me. Anthony & Sylvan is high quality, very good and dependable.

Don't look for any support down the road with this organization. They would rather hand you off to a worthless contractor who never returns calls than help you solve a problem. Had stairs repaired several times around pool. This should have clued me in, now 10-15 feet of the decking is moving away from the pool and sinking. They never compacted the soil properly. Not their problem I'm told. Even though I get frequent compliments on how nice the pool looks, I would not recommend them again considering they don't seem interested in taking care of past customers. Don't use their recommendations for contractors, pool fences etc., another nightmare altogether.

So far this has been a nightmare. Sold on the warranty and told no problem during the sale. Meeting tomorrow with PM, we will see how that goes. Gave pictures and discussed what I wanted - was flat rock, even wrote it in the plan and sent an email. I got jagged rocks. Told by the sales guy it was silly for me to want him to draw flat rocks. PM just told me the round rocks are on the plan. Geezz!

We were very satisfied with the services of Anthony & Sylvan. They were very accommodating with all our inquiries and requests. We have one of their pools. It was there when we bought the house. It was 15 years old and needed to be refurbished. They renovated the whole area. I had a positive interaction with the team led by Ron. He was very helpful and explained what needed to be done and basically interacted with us during the whole process. We were very happy.

My experience with Anthony & Sylvan has been very good. They put in my original pool in 1991. They also repaired cracks and it flows better.

We had an in-ground plaster pool installed by Anthony & Sylvan. I like the design and the blue surface. I felt that there was a lack of communication with the project manager. I had gotten 2 names with 2 different fellows that were project managers and every time I would try to work with one they would say "No you need to talk to the other one." The actual installation was fine. There wasn't a problem with that. I wasn't extremely crazy about the electrician. Rather than make it the best looking and easiest for us, he kind of wanted to make it easier for him. So it wasn't exactly the ideal design and he really tore up the yard a lot more than we feel that he should have. We had a few issues but generally, it was okay.

Anthony and Sylvan did good work with our in-ground pool. Their team was easy to work with. They were helpful in setting it up and giving us a good deadline.

Anthony and Sylvan helped us design and build our pool and decking. I like the overall design and the layout that they did. Overall, I was very pleased. I was always informed of the schedule and knew what was going to be done. They were professional and they completed the work within the allotted schedule.

We got a new pool installation with Anthony and Sylvan. It was a free-form, in-ground, concrete pool. I love the fact that it's saltwater. They had a good project manager. Their whole team was pretty responsive. The whole experience was more than we could have hoped for as far as the delivery time. It all worked out well.

My issues with Anthony and Sylvan have been resolved.

My neighbor told me about Anthony & Sylvan so I had them install a new gunite pool. It's a simple pool. The designer was very nice and helped me out very much. The only thing is that they changed the project manager halfway through, and I had to keep an eye on things, which I didn't have to do. It was done properly but I didn't think that should be my task. Overall it was very professional and the team were all very courteous and helpful, so they were very nice people to deal with.

We're originally from California and we had used Anthony & Sylvan probably 30 years ago (my mom had). I called several companies and Anthony & Sylvan was the first one who contacted me and came right out. They did everything to our new pool. I love the waterfall that they have. Everybody's been very good. When we had to call them for something, it was taken care of. Very good service. It was a great experience.

I was satisfied with the new concrete in-ground pool installation that Anthony & Sylvan did for us. The salesman was great. Whenever we had any problems or questions, he always got right back to me.

Anthony & Sylvan contacted me and we’ve found a reasonable solution to my issue.

When purchasing my pool, I went with this company because of the wonderful warranty that the salesman offered, only to find out 12 years later that they don't honor their word. I have contract and original warranty in front of me and although I cont to make my monthly payments, they are refusing to make covered repair as stated in the contract. This was a big investment and a big mistake to go with this company. I make sure everyone I know learns of their deceit.

We had Anthony & Sylvan 11 years ago. Our neighbor had them, so we called them up. Now, the steps of our pool were chipped and cracked. Anthony & Sylvan ground them down. Some of the tiles were loose and they re-plastered the whole pool. It looks beautiful, just like it’s brand new. Overall, It was a very good experience. As for the team, they're terrific - good boys. They kept their word, on time, in fact, 6:30 in the morning the second day; that was great. We heard the truck come up the driveway, “What the heck?” They were here real early. There were six guys the second day and two guys the day before. They knew what they were doing. I’d recommend them - I already did.

I had pools throughout my life with Anthony & Sylvan. I had dealt with them 11 years ago for a brand new pool, and this time they did a re-caulking, tiling and plastering. It was just basically stripped it down to the shell. Everyone was professional and quick, even when there was a very small issue. I would recommend Anthony & Sylvan. Great job and keep up the good work!

Anthony & Sylvan re-finished my pool's interior. I've been very pleased with them. They were very friendly, professional, courteous and helpful. I did have a feeling that one of the subcontractors didn’t necessarily know what he was doing. Other than that, they really did a great job.

After speaking with Owen, we have come to an agreement to mark the experience as 3 stars overall (ONLY due to Owen). The majority of the repairs were completed as agreed upon, however the quality of the craftsmanship is the issue now. The leaks appear to be fixed, I was refunded the amount for the table, the courtyard gate was rebuilt as well as the drive gate (these are the craftsmanship issues). Overall it has been a very unpleasant experience but a neutral review is the best I can offer.

After contacting Consumer Affairs, Anthony & Sylvan took measures to address all of our issues and resolve them. We were not thrilled that the subcontractors lacked supervision, or direction, and we have given them feedback on that. The project took entirely too long, but we will be happy to swim once summer comes.

Anthony and Sylvan hires subcontractors to do each phase of their pools. A worker for the plaster company that does their plaster on concrete pools ruined my plaster by accidentally making a hole in my plaster when they were attempting to repair a blemish. After a year of discussions with Anthony and Sylvan's "upper management" they finally agreed to replaster my pool. They hired the same incompetent subcontractor to replaster and they completely ruined my brand new pool. There are numerous bumps and discolorations throughout my pool and the entire plaster is wavy and bumpy, nothing like it was when it was new. It almost looks like they tried to screw it up. I have many friends that have pools and they all can't believe the poor craftsmanship shown by this company.

We had Anthony & Sylvan install a new pool and our experience with them was excellent. They were professional and did what they promised to do. Good customer service, good technicians, everything is good.

Anthony & Sylvan built our pool. My favorite feature is its heater. Their team has been great. We had a good experience. We didn't have any problems at all. It was easy, beginning to end.

Anthony & Sylvan built a pool for us 15-plus years ago. Recently they did a renovation. We reset all of the flagstone caulking, re-did the tile, and put down a pebble-plaster bottom. They're pretty good. They were timely. We had to jiggle the scheduling because we were away a lot during the summer, but they managed to get it in between some of our trips, and they cleaned up after themselves nicely. Good job, professionally done, good results. I'd recommend them.

We heard about Anthony & Sylvan from friends of the family, so we decided on a new pool. Everybody was great - the salesman and the project manager. I dealt with the project manager the most and he was very, very nice. They are good to work with. I like the pool's layout.

Anthony & Sylvan was recommended by the developer of the area that we bought our house. They were great. From the consultations for building the pool, the design of the pool to the actual construction of the pool, they were terrific, very helpful and very knowledgeable. They worked with our time frame because we had some very specific time frames where work had to be done or couldn't be done. They worked very well with us. It's a terrific job. They were consultative and professional.

We purchased a concrete chlorine pool from Anthony & Sylvan as they were recommended by my pool designer, Daniel. Their attention to detail was incredible. We were able to adjust a few things, aesthetically as well as operationally, and all of our needs were met. The project manager, Sky, was above anybody I've ever worked with. He's incredible. I'm a real estate agent here in Vegas and I do a lot of new homes built, so I've worked with quite a few general contractors over the past six years, including our own house, when I built this from the ground up, and I haven't had any project manager as detail-oriented as he was and chronologically just went exactly to the day and sometimes to the hour that he said it was going to be. It's a beautiful design, beautiful product and great company to work with. I'm extremely happy that I chose them and went with them because they have otherwise had a reputation of being a little bit more higher priced than some other pool builders here; however, I believe in this specific situation, paying a little bit more was well worth it and it shows greatly in every step of the way.

Anytime I called and had a question, Anthony & Sylvan reps were very prompt at responding. We emailed to communicate a lot, which was great because I'm not always available by phone. It was just very positive. Because of no rain, our pool was done in 19 or 20 days which is unbelievable. Every day there was someone here to supervise. They did a wonderful job. The whole family is enjoying it.

Anthony & Sylvan installed a new in-ground pool. We had a communication problem with one of the representatives, but other than that everyone was great. They were professional, efficient, and timely. We like the water feature.

I heard about Anthony & Sylvan from a friend of ours who works with them. They put a new pool in my backyard. Nothing fancy about it, it’s just a nice place to get wet. Everything we’ve done with them, we’ve had great experience with everybody we dealt with. They were very knowledgeable, on time, and everything looks perfect. It was a great experience. I have nothing but good things to say.

We are satisfied with Anthony & Sylvan. They've done a beautiful job on our in-ground swimming pool. I just like the size, and the one that we had gotten is a good-size pool, which is nice. All of them were really professional and answered any question I had in terms I could understand and even brought up some that I didn't even think about. They're really good. It was just wonderful. I was very happy and satisfied with them.

Anthony & Sylvan did a pool for us underground. Before we did our pool, I shopped around to see what they were offering and what I loved about Anthony & Sylvan is that one, they've been around for a long time and two, their workmanship. From the very get-go, Philip, our salesman, he came in and explained everything. We went into the office, my husband, my daughter, my son, and we got to pick and choose the layout of the pool, so it was a family project as we wanted the whole family involved. I have recommended them to people. The only fallback we have on it is that when the pool is ready and it has been cured for ten days, it's torture.

Anthony & Sylvan came out several times because my husband and I were trying to decide exactly what I wanted. In the end we had them install a new concrete pool that used chlorine. One of the things that I love is that I never felt like I was being pushed into anything. They were really great about explaining it, and if there was a misunderstanding, they figure out exactly where we miscommunicated so that we can make this right and move forward. So I never felt like anybody was ever trying to run out for me or railroad me. Also, Jeff, the gentleman that built our pool, and the manager of it, did a great job. They finished ahead of schedule. The entire experience was exceptional.

They put in a concrete pool for me. It's a chlorinated pool. We have a grotto and a couple of nice sitting ledges and a nice tanning ledge with it. Our initial salesman, Tim **, was amazing and I would recommend him to anybody. He really took the extra time and did a great job. He informed us with everything they were doing. Overall my experience with Anthony & Sylvan was great, except for the lack of attention from a guy named Marty ** who works for the company who was our liaison during the middle stages and dropped the ball on scheduling things.

It looks really nice. I like the style and the shape of the pool they put in for us. It was a great experience. There was definite feedback along the way. They made sure that everything was exactly what we had wanted and they answered all the questions we had.

We had Anthony & Sylvan install our new concrete pool with a raised back wall with three sprays on. My consultant Mark ** did a great job with designing the pool and meeting with us. He explained everything, followed up and was timely to meetings. He's the one that really sold us on Anthony & Sylvan, and then our project manager was easy to work with, followed through on things. It was a pretty good experience overall. I've already recommended them.

I first Googled some swimming pool companies and talked to some people. There are not really many swimming pool companies around that are close by. Paul from A&S was the first person to come out and consult us. He was very good and helpful right off the bat. I thought he definitely knew what he was talking about. It sounded like a good deal and a good, established company. One of the reasons we went with them was because we started it last fall, so it was started in the off-season and Paul said we would get a little discount in the price for starting it in the fall. And from what I could tell talking to other people, the price was very reasonable for an in-ground, cement pool.

Most of my interactions with them was positive. I just didn't appreciate the office staff. We weren’t happy, especially with the professionalism. But the pool was really nice. My favorite part of it is the sundeck.

Anthony & Sylvan was referred to me by my landscape contractor who had worked with them. I got a new pool. It has an overflow from the spa, from the Jacuzzi, into the pool. It came out nice. We had some local made mosaics of dolphins and then turtles made by an artist put into the pool by Anthony & Sylvan. The LED lighting was actually new technology. This set different lighting colors. Through the whole process, the team appeared to be professional. I’m in the construction business so I’m pretty in tune to what the demands are for getting it done. We started this process this time last year to put the pool in, to dig it and to test foundations and finished in time in the spring. Overall, they did a great job in completing it within the allocated time frame. So I’m happy with the final result and I did recommend them.

Anthony & Sylvan put a pool in for us about 15 years ago in our previous home. We had a good experience our first time around so we decided to go with them again. They also have very competitive price. They came in pretty low really as an estimate. They put in an in-ground pool, a new installation. It was an excellent experience. Whenever I had a question, somebody calls me back that day. They were excellent. Every crew was polite. There’s not one thing I can complain about. These people were wonderful. They were all very professional.

The team was on time and was very courteous. What I love about the pool is that it is easy to maintain because of the advanced technology. We have an automatic cleaner. It's great. It was everything that I expected. They lived up to what they say they were going to do.

My sister had a pool done by Anthony & Sylvan so I purchased a concrete pool from them. I had the salt chlorinated pool and I'm very happy with it. They were very professional and we really enjoyed our design team. The guy we had was fantastic. They're a trusted pool builder that we will work with again.

Anthony & Sylvan put in a pool and decking for us. They did the granite. Sean was the sales rep that we dealt with. He listened to what it was we were looking for and incorporated a landscape of the backyard as we needed it, and he really came out with a plan that encaptured what it is that we were hoping to find. Jeff took over after that as the construction lead and updated us with the schedule. They stayed on schedule. We had a couple of hiccups that he corrected quickly, and he answered any concerns that we had within hours. It was fantastic.

Anthony & Sylvan did the pool, hot tub, waterfall and decking and it is so beautiful! They were very professional and provided exceptional follow-up. They were all very knowledgeable but the one that really stands out is Bob. He was a great sales guy. He put together the plan, architecture, initial recommendation and the designs. Trevor, the project management side of the house, came out and was here all the time - through the entire sales as well as the project management process, including post-implementations. He always took calls on his cell phone and helped you with additional questions regarding the whole process. The experience was exceptional - excellence to detail, quality product, and delivered on time - nothing but great things.

Our experience with Anthony & Sylvan was wonderful. I was referred by a friend. The most positive interaction I had was with the project manager. He was a pleasure to work with, informed on the next step, when the various phases and contractors doing those various phases were going to be here and kept the construction timeline very tight. And I love the shape of the pool.

I had a gunite pool that was completed September 2013. And as for optics, the pool and 1000 sq ft of installed pavers were beautiful. With the pool being completed so late in the summer, I had minimum time to utilize the pool. I also purchases a custom pool cover. With about a month of use in 2013, I scheduled pool to open May 2014. I have had numerous problems with the heating system. The pool cover tore due the design of pool (pointed pavers) and the paver deck had lumps, hills, and in some instances 1.5 inch gap between pavers. In addition, the skimmers in the pool and spa does not work properly. I have been waiting approximately six weeks for paver repairs and skimmer maintenance.

Anthony & Sylvan was the company that my husband had. They did a new concrete pool installation. It was such a process but it's done. We really enjoy it out being with friends and family, so that's our favorite part, just being out there on the ground. I liked that we had something on schedule and it was done that day according to schedule, so I really enjoyed it. There were definitely some bumps in the road and I understand that they're a large company. There were some points where I was extremely frustrated but now it's done, it's good and it's a process.

We bought the house two years ago and the pool was installed. We had the whole surface of the pool re-plastered by Anthony & Sylvan. There were two teams that came: one that came initially did the preparation, and then a second team came and did the actual plastering. They both were very, very professional and very careful, and I enjoy their work. It was an awesome experience. They were very knowledgeable and very fast.

We signed with A&S in May. All things were final June 13th. We still do not have a pool. Nobody will answer a phone. We were scheduled for plaster 8/19/2014. My husband visited the office to make our final payment and was told it will be another week.. Not an email or a phone call or anything to tell us. This is how it has been the entire time. My son asked me why we didn't go on vacation this summer. I told him because we were SUPPOSED TO HAVE A POOL. We will not even swim for Labor Day. I would NEVER recommend this company to anyone. NEVER!

My employee’s sister had a pool that was done by Anthony & Sylvan, so I called them to give me an estimate. Everybody that came out treated us very well. I'm very satisfied with the salt plaster pool we had installed. We love the salt water and we enjoy its depth. The black pearl plaster seems to hold the heat of the water up and we like that. We didn't have to put much money into propane. We had started the pool and had to put it on hold for a little while. They came back after the delay, picked up where we left off and finished it up. We appreciated that. We like everything about it. We feel that we have a pool that we’re not disappointed in at all.

The kids are enjoying the pool from Anthony & Sylvan tremendously. It's very relaxing. We got the fiberglass chlorine pool and sidewalk. They have followed up, from when I first met the salesman all the way through to yesterday. They ask if they can help with the maintenance or if we have questions. I would and have recommended them.

We got a concrete salt pool from Anthony Sylvan based on the feedback we got from our neighbors - they had a good experience. The salesman was very helpful throughout the process. They're on top of everything. It was a good experience for us.

We chose to get our swimming pool and hot tub from Anthony & Sylvan Pools because they’ve been in business for so many years. We got the chlorine-type pool, and our favorite pool feature was the waterfall. We were satisfied with their service and were excited about the time frame they built the pool.

We had a neighbor that had used Anthony & Sylvan, and they were pleased with their service. They renovated our pool, plastering and tile work. The team was fine; they did the job, cleaned up and left. So, I’d recommend Anthony & Sylvan. Their work is of good quality and done efficiently.

Anthony & Sylvan refinished the surface of the pool. No tiles, just the granite. Their salesman was very good and attentive. The only thing negative I have to say is that when it came time for the installation, they didn't advise me fully of what is required of me to have ready when they got here. They did it 8, 9 months in advance and actually, it's the contractor that did it before and so when it came time to install it, I had to scramble to get everything ready for what they needed. They're very good.

We love the tile, everything is wonderful. We have really nice choices, designs that we could choose from. Everything was just very beautifully done; it's like a brand new, fresh spa type of thing. Almost every time we go down to the pool, we sit down and go. It's so nice. The team were all knowledgeable and professional and did what they said they were going to do, and everybody did their job very well. I would definitely recommend them. They're terrific, and if I had to do it all over again, I wouldn't have anyone else do it.

The day after posting this I was contacted by Owen. He explained that his job was to step in and be my day to day contact and allow for a clear line of communication through completion. He has certainly been responsive and kept a clear line of communication though the overall communication with other parties at Anthony Sylvan as well as their internal communication has continued to be an issue.

We came across Anthony & Sylvan and we decided to give the local branch a call to get a quote. We got them to install a new pool for us. It's a free form, it's plastered and I think its about 30,000 gallons. My favorite feature of the pool is the design. The salesperson/architect came up with something really unique for us and it incorporated some of the things that we were looking for. We didn't really know how to go about designing it, so he was able to come up with something that was really appealing for us.

I talked to some pool builders and we liked Anthony & Sylvan's presentation better so we chose them to build a new granite pool for us. Our pool has an automatic cover, which is something I really like. The cover makes a big difference. I've had no complaints with how they've done everything. They responded whenever we had any problems. It was a good experience.

Friends recommended Anthony & Sylvan. They installed the new pool. I chose the kidney-shaped concrete saltwater pool. From the sales to the completion, they assigned the project manager who was attentive. The pool was completed from the beginning to the end in 1 and 1/2 months. It was a pleasant experience.

We have a couple friends who have had their pools built by Anthony & Sylvan. So we had them put in a concrete salt pool for us. We like having it. It's just convenient to have it right here in our backyard and enjoy swimming together as a family. And to have people over, it's great entertainment. We did put a heater on and I love having that. The design consultant, Jason, was wonderful. He was very helpful and informative and reassured us anytime we had any questions. Everybody was always courteous. Anytime I dealt with anybody in any of the departments, they were always courteous and good about getting back to us as soon as possible. It was a very pleasant experience and they made the process very easy for us.

Anthony & Sylvan installed the pool with the original home owner. I'm the second owner. I had the pool replastered, every tile in it. They did it clean and easy. I got three different places one of the competitors actually suggested that I stick with Anthony. I thought that was interesting. They're very amenable, straightforward, straight ahead, no problems until the end. We had a little problem with some things that happened in the pool but they were minor. It's a good experience.

I'm very happy with the job Anthony & Sylvan did. They replaced all the tiles in the pool, fixed the coping on the pool and re-plastered the pool. The salesman was great, polite and courteous. Everybody that came out to my house did a great job. They were polite and left everything clean. I had no problems whatsoever. The work was top notch. There were 3 screws on a light that they forgot but they're going to fix it. Everything has just been fine other than the screws.

Anthony & Sylvan made a concrete chlorine pool for us. They were the best ever. Don ** is first rate and his staff did great. He was just outstanding and completely reliable. Everything he said he would do he did. Don designed the pool consistent with our architecture. He listened to what I wanted. It's not a huge pool by any means but it's the perfect type for the yard. The wet deck is so awesome. I hang out there every day. Every night my husband and I are in the wet deck. It's like a little porch in the pool with ankle deep water. You put your chairs in there and you can sit there without having to get a bathing suit on. It was Don's idea and then there's the waterfall so when it's so hot I can look outside and see this little waterfall. The product turned out great. We could not live here in the desert without a pool. It's beautiful.

I put a Sylvan pool in 35 years ago. It was later on that they joined with Anthony. This time, they put new tiling, new coping and re-cemented the inside, not the whole cement just the white stuff and they did the work nicely. I was happy with it.

We got a new pool because we moved and bought a different house. It was done very quickly and on a timely manner. We had Anthony & Sylvan before so we got them again. We got the salt-type concrete pool. As for the features, the only thing different in this pool from the last pool was I didn't have a wet deck. The deck is kind of nice. I also got a table on this one. We were happy with our experience with the team. We have some issues with the pool experience but then they were able to mostly get everything taken care of.

He actually come out after we decided on a design and spray painted it out and at that point, we decided that we wanted it a little bit bigger so we he went back and it was no problem for him and worked up a new quote and came back out and re-spray painted it and we approved it and it was exactly what we wanted. From start to finish it has been one big fiasco! Lack of communication, always blaming their contractors for work done incorrectly, being lied to. I could keep going on but I will add my continuing fight with them. We had new stamped concrete installed along with redo of old pool. The stamped concrete company did a beautiful job, perfection at its best! Then Anthony Sylvan guys come to acid wash pool inside and re-plaster etc. after they are done. I go out the next day to look at pool, and all well to my surprise, there is acid stops all around our brand new deck.

We had our Anthony sylvan pool completed in May. It looks beautiful with the exception of the cracks in our cement decking! I have emailed numerous times trying to get someone to come back out to address this issue to no avail! All I get is the promise that I will be contacted. BUT... No contact. We put a LOT of money in our new pool and would like to be satisfied! I also have no idea who to contact for service issues as the person I was told to contact won't return any calls either! I feel like Anthony sylvan has majorly let me down!

Anthony & Sylvan were in business for a long time. it's like they had a lot of experience and we've read good things about them online so we had them install an in-ground pool. They did a good job and they stand behind their work.

Anthony & Sylvan coordinated the pool design, and installation for the low chlorine ozone concrete pool. I love the fact that it's right in my backyard. My sales professional did a fantastic job of understanding what it was that we were going for, and from designing the finished product from what truly was a dirt lock. While the sales process and the design process were great, there was a bit of a disconnect with the communication throughout the project. The implementation phase was not as smooth as we would have liked but we're very pleased with the final product.

A friend referred Anthony & Sylvan so I had a new concrete pool installed. The team who came were very professional and very knowledgeable. I like the design and the design phase, in terms of taking the time to really sit down and help us understand the possible scenarios for our backyard. We had a bit of a complex topography and the design consultant, Paul, really took the time to walk the site with us and lay out the things that were possible. That was a very good experience. I would say it's a great pool, beautiful product. For us it became the feature of our backyard so it really made our backyard a unique place for the family to spend time and to gather. I certainly recommend Anthony & Sylvan for the quality of pools and the product that they built.

We have a free form swimming Pool by Anthony & Sylvan. It's concrete and all chlorine. I particularly like its little waterfall feature. It's great. Anthony & Sylvan have all these different contractors come out and they were all very good to deal with and they all cleaned up afterwards. In other words you weren't dealing with one side of people. You're dealing with specialists and they all came out and they're all good so that was great.

My favorite thing about the pool is that it’s cool, wet, fun... It has just got it all. It's got a sun deck which is enjoyable to lie out on and the hot tub. It's got some cool feature to it. Overall, I had an awesome experience with Anthony & Sylvan. Jeff from the team is a great guy. He worked hard to make sure that you're happy.

We heard about them from another company in Baltimore that had put in my sister’s pool. The company said they didn't do anything that small and gave me Anthony & Sylvan’s number. The sales guy, Tom, was awesome. He stayed in touch with me through the whole thing. Then there was a young man that came and was very personable and patient with me, as far as everything that needed to be learned being a new pool owner. We had them install a concrete pool which the salt system hasn't worked for the last 6 weeks now but they're working on it.

We received a phone call within hours of posting the review and communication was immediately improved. There were still some minor speed bumps but overall the experience was much better.

I've seen so much advertisement on TV and magazine about Anthony & Sylvan. I loved the pictures and I figured it would be a company that was stable and has been here a long time. I didn't want any just fly-by-night. I wanted the experienced one. I had the pool and the hot tub put in and it's wonderful. It's the concrete plaster pool - the ozone type. Clint ** was fantastic. He was the manager and the best help and the one that I would call for any kind of service that I needed. Actually everyone was pleasant and as helpful as they could be. It was the best service and I couldn't have asked for anything better.

Anthony & Sylvan originally put in the pool so they were the logical people to do the repair. So we had our pool renovated and what they did is replace the coping stone and the decorative tile at the top of the pool. Anthony & Sylvan were very straightforward and the work was done very nicely. It was very professionally done and a year later it's still in fine shape.

It was great doing business with them, and their people were friendly and accommodating. They put in our concrete swimming pool. I have two ledges where you can swim out from the deep end onto one of that and the hot tub. The hot tub's location is in the center of the pool and we love that. The person who worked with us with the sales was amazing the entire way. The scheduler was helpful and mostly it was pretty quick. Our project manager was also very available as far as contacting and questions. I don't know the company who dug the pool but they were fantastic as well every step of the build. They were professional, communicative, available and forward-thinking.

A friend of mine who had an Anthony & Sylvan pool recommended them to me. I had them build me a new chlorine, concrete in-ground pool with a diving board. The salesman I dealt with was excellent. He answered all questions and if there were ever concerns, he came out and dealt with it personally. They were very receptive and responsive when I asked them questions. Overall, I had an excellent experience with them.

I used to work for Anthony & Sylvan Pools in 1980. I had our pool put up by them in 1990 and I recently had them renovate it. They put new coping, tile and plaster. Michelle with renovation was very helpful. It’s the same with Joe, the guy that who came out and took a look at the pool and checked out the work that they did. They were very, very nice. The experience was very gratifying. They were very professional the way they handled themselves and the work they did.

It's taking too long. I sign contract 4/7/2014, contractors leave a lot of mess, offering material that at the end they tell you that is not the one they offer you and I'm going to have to put extra money. The purpose of pool is to be a graduation party and the way it look, the pool is not going to be done until end of July.

I got a brand new pool from Anthony & Sylvan. I heard about them because our next door neighbors had their pool built by them. It's Pebble-Tec. My kids and I love it. I love the free-form shape to it and I love the color of the water. Our backyard was completely empty so it's a brand new pool. They did everything. Brian **, my designer, was the best. I recommended them to several of my friends. Experience with Anthony & Sylvan was very easy. Positive, exciting and overall just great.

I purchased a pool that was completed in November of last year. It was a nightmare from the beginning of ground breaking. Nobody spoke English, they left their trash in my backyard. Everyday they were there. I can't believe this is acceptable in Texas. And to top it off, they built a crap pool. Cracking, leaching (which their water test guy blamed on the water). How after two months of the pool being completed it's doing that already? And the pool deck is breaking to pieces which of course it's not covered under warranty. The response was we can't help when the ground moves, but yet the pool and surrounding area starts falling apart two months after the pool was built? I've been treated like an idiot by the warranty manager. Now I get no response at all. I have called and emailed repeatedly to the Anthony and Sylvan employees who are designated to my area but they won't respond, probably hoping I will go away.

Anthony & Sylvan has resolved our issues. I was contacted within 1 day and was impressed by the customer service I received. Thank you!

I would have to agree with the poor review from the customer in Drexel Hill, PA. We are very early in the process, but working with Anthony & Sylvan Pools has not been a stellar experience thus far. We were impressed with our sales person, but it has been a struggle since the hand-off. Lots of delays; lots of excuses. Unfortunately, the company is not proactive about providing updates unless you seek out answers. I am hoping things improve in the coming weeks.

We got a new chlorine, in-ground granite swimming pool from Anthony & Sylvan. So far we've had no problem except for one little minor thing pending. But they seem to be working on it and I assume it's been taken care of without any big issues. Overall, their people are very good. We're happy with it and have a pool to cool off whenever we need to.

I wanted to let you know that my issue with Anthony & Sylvan has been resolved. Customer Service rep Owen was wonderful to work with. He sent three different people to my home to inspect my pool & equipment to help me solve my problem. I am very pleased with the end result and if they offered more informative advise for free they would definitely save themselves in the long run. I was told by Owen they have a service or help line but I was unaware of it before.

Bad business! I don't have enough room to write everything that has gone wrong, but I will say they tell you what you want to hear in the beginning, make sure they have 95% of your money (have to pay that way as per contract), then they do nothing. And there is nothing you can do about but complain, and since no one calls you back, so this is what you have to resort to. Beyond frustrated with this company.

The sales representative was excellent, and the products were excellent. Anthony & Sylvan totally re-did our existing 15-year-old pool. Our contact was Sam ** and he was absolutely first-class. He spent many hours with us and he assured us that no decision would be made unless I actually saw that product installed in a customer's pool. He took me out at least three times to look at different people's pools with their permission, so I would be comfortable with what we were selecting. He followed up on everything, he was always on time, he's a gentleman, he did what we said, and we couldn't be more pleased with him. He's a great asset to your company.

They made a lot of promises about warranties and maintenance but when I asked for details, they were vague, so I did not buy.

Anthony & Sylvan did our pool installation. It was an in-ground pool. The installation was smooth and fast and easy. They said they'd start in November and finish the project by March, but they actually started in January and finished in March, so like two months to build it.

The worst decision of my life has been purchasing a pool from Anthony & Sylvan. Don't be fooled with their slick ads, this company will frustrate you beyond your limits with their lies and incompetence. Most of the time they blame everything on the weather and when they can't use that excuse they will blame others for their incompetence. Their communication is the worst I've ever seen or heard about. They don't return e-mail or phone calls specially when they are late. Once you sign a contract and they dig your backyard you have no choice or alternative but to put up with their never ending excuses and lies especially since you have to pay for everything much in advance.

Its terrific everything as they indicated it would with the time line, very efficient.

My issue with Anthony and Sylvan has been resolved to my satisfaction....I still highly recommend A&S for a quality built and beautiful pool!

I regret ever calling this company to get an estimate to renovate my pool. I only called them because Anthony Pools originally built my pool back in 1974. The pool renovation was suppose to begin during the second week of May and was only suppose to take 4 or 5 days. We are now at the end of the third week of June and very little of the work is done. Most frustrating is the lack of communication. I have called my renovation coordinator about a dozen times and have never had anyone answer the phone. I get a message that she is busy but if I leave a message, she will get back to me. The only problem is she never returns the calls and if you call customer relations, they answer the phone but do nothing more than take a message for you which again no one ever returns.

Anthony Sylvan has contacted me and has resolved this issue with an agreeable addendum to our contract.

We had Anthony & Sylvan build a pool for us in about 2005 in Fort Myers FL. The salesman made a very strong case that a "national" company would be a better choice and he was very positive about the experience. He was let go or left before they broke ground. The pool was built, tiles kept popping off, tiles were replaced multiple times. Cracks behind the tiles and lack of Cl2 residual have meant we have not been able to use it in several years. I strongly believe there are defects in the construction. We have had a couple of other pool people look at it and there seems to be consensus the problem is structural, possibly the bond beam was not properly installed. Anthony & Sylvan has been contacted several times, and if they respond at all it is to say it is not a problem or that it is typical. If severe cracks behind the tiles and the coping shearing off in this short period of time are typical, I would be very surprised. Expectations are low for a positive response but I felt it is important to note the experience.

My complaint is exactly the same as Todd of Newtown Square, PA. We signed our contract in January of 2013. Broke ground the first week of April 2014 with an 8-week schedule. We are now in week eleven (11) and not complete yet. We were assigned a project manager who has yet to visit the site or return an email or telephone call. There have been long lags between milestones. Seven to ten days will go by after one phase of construction is completed before we hear from a scheduler to arrange the next phase. No one answers their phone and it is rare to get a return call after leaving a message. I had heard this complaint about pool companies but it seemed A&S was different. They're not.

We signed our pool contract last October and had our Meet & Greet on March 11 where A&S laid out a rough 10 week schedule to complete our pool. We are now 13 weeks into the schedule and we still have 2 - 3 weeks to go before we can swim in our pool.

I built my pool with Anthony & Sylvan and I've been coming to the Freehold store for 10+ years now. No matter how bad I treat my pool, their staff always gets me back on the right track again!

We are the very first resident in our subdivision to have their own pool. We were promised the moon and star from Tim our sales rep and Marty our project coordinator. We did our part in getting HOA approval within a few days, and the permit was ready and we waiting with excuse after excuse of why our pool wasn't started. Then AS started the pool, and start the digging in April and now it's June 7 and still waiting on final grading and the pebble tech. I'm wondering how long this is going to take. We signed the contact in March 2014 and was told 4-6 weeks. Um I wonder what calendar they use because now we are on week 6 since the digging started the 3rd week of April. Marty is now gone, we were told Spencer would be taking care of us, now we are working with a Doug person. Really?
