I submit my claims over the phone and sometimes I have to call back. But the reps have been good to me. The contractors call me before they come out and they've been pretty good. I like ARW. It’s a good service.

VERY DISSATISFIED. As a loyal customer, I've been lied to and treated with disrespect. I put in a claim on May 10, 2023 and it has not been resolved. I would like my $75 fee back and I'm now shopping for another company,

I appreciate American Residential Warranty for taking the initiative of assuring that I receive home coverage. The American Residential home warranty offers coverage for items that many customers may not be aware that they need coverage for. Thanks for the consistency and patience in addition to great customer service conversations!

The agent was very very professional. Professional and very pleasant to speak to. She should be give given a raise and be Made employee of the month. In fact, the whole staff is very professional and it been a pleasure to work with ARW.

Charlene was great and handled my issue correctly. Was told if I mentioned her name, I would receive $5 off my next billing. My phone call was answered quickly and issue was handled quickly. My debit card had to be replaced so I gave her all the information she asked for.

I called to have a schedule payment made. Joel was very helpful and quick. His customer service was great. We just started our contract. We have family members who recommended your company to us. Hoping we don't have any issues, but glad we have you guys.

Joel was very helpful. He explained the process for paying on the account and answered all of my questions. He was knowledgeable and had a friendly voice. If I need to contact customer service again, I hope I get to speak to someone like Joel.

Updated on 06/16/2023: ** is my claim number. Washer was serviced after a very long wait. Repairs only lasted 3 loads of laundry. June 9th I called ARW to have it serviced again...I still have not been contacted by a service agent today is the 16th...not supposed to take more than 48 hours. I switched from Sears Home Warranty and I am deeply regretting it. Very poor response times. Extremely long hold times. The customer portal is completely useless. It simply tells you to call their 855#....where you wait and wait and wait on hold.

We had a good experience with the representative that helped us with our payment. His name is Ronald. You need more Ronalds in your In the claim department so they can help your team. Thank you for the overall experience!

After getting hacked I needed to update my payment information with my new debt card and Joel was very helpful. With his assistance I was able to accomplish the task in little to no time at all. Just great service.

Sherisa cherisa was very great and helpful. Give thumbs up. Call was about payment. She was very kind, sweet. Glad was able to get me right. I would recommend to anyone and hope get great service like I did. Great great great. I may misspelled her name but she is great great great.

Ronald was my rep. He called to inform me my payment was declined. My card had been compromised and I had to get a new one. He was very friendly and courteous. He told me I would receive a survey and if I chose to fill it out, I would get $5 off my next payment.

Ronald was very helpful and polite. He is easy to talk to and understand. Made me feel at ease and like I mattered to the company Thank you, thank you, You are appreciated. That’s how customers service should be. Thanks Ronald.

I filed a claim almost 3 months ago regarding my built-in microwave oven. Someone came out but have not received an update email, call, or anything regarding my appliance. Nor have I recieved a cash out that I was supposed to receive. The microwave is built in with an oven and can not be separated, so neither of them work. Everytime I call and get transferred I am hung up on.

I've been without air since Sunday night. I'm in Texas, and it's very hot. The tech had been out three times. I just submitted another claim this morning and had to pay another $75 because the problem lies in the electrical, and the AC guy didn't have the experience to do that. Last night, I was on the phone with American Residential Warranty for about 40 minutes to submit that new claim for the electrician. The rep didn't even tell me it was going to be an electrician. He said he would send somebody that had more experience out there that could complete the job. Long story short, when I called this morning, there was no record of that call. He had never submitted the claim. So this morning, I had to resubmit another and I made sure to get the confirmation text.

Ronald was very pleasant and efficient. He was helpful and made sure to ask me if there was anything else he could do for me. He checked and confirmed to me that made debit card info I entered was the correct card they are using for the bill. He did enter the payment for me.

I paid the amount due after initially filing a claim w/ HVAC and was told I would be contacted within 24 hours. That was on the 23rd of May and made a payment over the phone and followed up today with no response as of yet.

They sent out a nice guy to look at my tenant’s air conditioner. They did okay. I was satisfied. The guy was very nice. When ARW sends someone out, I pay the $75 to get started. Then with the AC claim, it was an additional $200. We had a storm the very next day, and the tenant messed with the circuit breaker. I didn't know they had power outage. They said the heating wasn't working, so I called the rep back. He sent somebody else out and I had to pay for that. But he was nice about it. He gave me a discounted rate for a return trip. Overall, I like that I don’t have to go around looking for somebody since I have ARW. If there was a problem with the technician or with the business owner, then I could always call ARW and they can send someone else out that I could be satisfied with.

Joel was very good and courteous in signing back up on my home warranty and explaining what the warranty covered and explaining the service being quicker and more efficient in their response and service. I look forward to my experience with ARW.

Very helpful and cheerful. Nice to have a polite representative to assist me. Will feel very comfortable calling again if necessary. Your training on phone etiquette is excellent. Keep up the great work and thank you for your help. I have told my daughter and sister in law to get your maintenance. Well worth it.

I had the pleasure of speaking with Ronald who delivered excellent customer service. I only called in for billing, but he was very patient and upbeat. I enjoyed speaking with him and will call to ask for him in the future!

Updated on 06/09/2023: SCAM ARTISTS!! Yesterday I spoke with an agent who informed me that my case had been closed. He informed me that they repair, they do not replace. His exact words. So I have been getting the run around since April when they knew that they had no intention of honoring their contract. I asked to speak with a supervisor and was told that one would reach out within 24 hours. It's day 4 and still no call back. AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS***

The lady who called me was very helpful and handle my problem quickly. I would like to say they shouldn't call people before 9am in the future. This is when business hours usually start. I was asleep when she called. But she did get the job done.

Excellent, very kind, polite. I didn’t have to wait or be put on hold. Joel did a great job answering my call. Asked if I had any questions about anything. He took my information and I was good to go. Thank you very much American warranty. Have a great day.

Ronald was very professional assisting us with a payment issue. Issue resolved with all parties in compliance! Thank you Ronald for your expert assistance! There was an issue with payment acquired through an expired credit card. The payment plan is now through our bank and all future payments will be made on or before due date.

Professional, fair and respectful customer service by Ronald who assisted me in changing account information. I have been with ARW since leaving AHS in 2018. ARW has replaced a refrigerator in 2019 and replaced a garbage disposal. With each claim I've enjoyed exemplary service.

Ronald had great customer service very knowledgeable about my account and very helpful and very polite. Also sent me the information that I requested for my account. Also, Ronald knew about the system very well and gave me helpful information.

I provided billing information to Ronald so that my payment would come out of my checking account. Change was done immediately and effectively. My daughter had paid for a new claim and was charged for May, 2023. However, all charges are to come from my account beginning June 2023.

Joel was very pleasant and helpful on the phone. He totally took care of me! I called to pay my yearly fee by using my credit card. I like to do this personally over the phone with a representative. Joel represented the company very well!

Donald was very professional and prompt. He knew how solve my issue without hesitation. I was connected to another department after handling business with Donald to make a claim after the fact. They replaced the water heater but they couldn’t send someone out here to replace it so I had to get somebody to come out from out of town, which of course added to the cost. They didn’t pay as much as I thought they would.,

Ronald was great. He updated My payment information extremely quick and went over my billing with me. He also updated my last name since I am getting married next month. He did check to see if I took advantage of the ADT discount.

My monthly payment was declined, so I received a phone call from Joel. He was very nice, very professional, and very courteous. I asked him to please post my payment for a few days from now and he agreed to do that. He asked me questions about my services and if I had any home security. I am very appreciative that he was not pushy when I replied that my home security are my dogs. Lol. Great experience!!

The gentleman that assisted me was very helpful and professional. My issue was resolved with only one phone call. And the call didn't take long at all. I was on the phone with him for less than five minutes. Customer service seems to be forgotten these days. It's nice to know that some people still value their customers these days. Had to update payment on my file. Charlene helped me! She did a great job. She was very quick and friendly. She was personable and made the experience very easy. She informed me I will receive $5 off next bill for taking survey.

I called for a receipt for my purchase and was on hold for over an hour. I called again, the lady was rude and hung up. I am transferring this warranty to a new owner and will NEVER EVER use ARW personally for my own home. Terrible customer service. The worst I've ever experienced.

The incompetence and absurdity of this company is mind boggling. How they calculate and communicate claims is not in interest of its customers but its vendors and their own private profitability. You are considered a hostile when you call to use your benefits and the staff is ill equipped, non citizens who can’t reason with common sense.

Sharlene Called to update my payment details as my credit card had been compromised and I received a new card. I thought I had let your company know about this but I realized I didn’t when Sharlene called. She was extremely helpful and knowledgeable about the situation and about my home warranty. She even ask me if I had any questions and whether I needed copies of my policy and the rules and regulations. Thank you Sharlene for your help in getting my payment problem resolved!!!

Love help got from Ronald **. He was a lot of help. He help me with how to add more coverage to my plan, and how much it cost and discounts that I might be able to get and he was so helpful with the knowledge of knowing what to ask for with the story so the plumbing part

Joel did a very great job of smoothly and professionally taking my information. Your company goes into def con 5 alert status when a payment is missed. Please relax that alarming hour by hour contact. Once the first day to remind most people is enough. You have great people, by abusing them by hassling your customers is uncalled for.

I needed a new debit card that’s why I called in and Joel was very helpful in getting it done. I have to check with my wife before I can schedule an appointment for a new security system. Thank you again Joel.

Your notification system needs to be terminated!!! Harassment via communication is a crime, and will not be tolerated by me. 47 notifications, via a combination of E-Mail, text messages, and phone calls in a 24 hour period is Harassment.

Staff person on the phone was very professional and friendly. The telephone conversation was very pleasant. She is an asset to ARW. By her offering to send my policy and/or anything else I might need was very helpful. By my policy being emailed to me I can file it electronically for my immediate use.

What I was told by the salesperson was not true. When I got the policy to My email I saw it was totally different so I cancelled it. When I called customer service they said what I was told was not correct.

I had to call and talk to a representative and they were nice enough to tell me how to solve my problem, HOPEFULLY! I sent in a Email with my name and the problem and you were suppose to take care of it. I was very please with how friendly your representative was and how much they knew about handling my problem.

I would not go into details right now, but after a morning of that session, Brian was able to help me and he convince me to stay if the plan Brian, he convinced me to stay with the plan. He has excellent excellent customer service. Thank you. You go, Brian.

Brain explain my problem why warranty I have my problem wasn't in my plan cover, I understood I thought I had that in my plan, he explained why it wasn't. So I change my plan to a new one that would fix the problem I had today if my other fan go out.

Hi my name is Patrick and I spoke with Sharlene today to pay my bill and her customer service is awesome. It felt like I knew her… Thank you guys for your services and continue to be great, have a safe and blessed life to you all.

I happen to suffer from PPMS, (Primary Progressive Multiple Sclerosis) and it creates what's known as MS brain fog, which means it is very hard for me to remember things. Anyway, I had a horrible experience with my last warranty company because they would withdrawal money from my account on the wrong date and they never once sent out a technician after I told them my refrigerator stopped working and that I was about to lose over $300 of food that I just bought. They didn't care. I lost all of the food that I just bought and had to go to a used appliance store to get another refrigerator. I lost almost $1,000 after the food and cost to replace my fridge. And when I decided to go with ARW, I told the agent to set my payments for the 3rd of each month but that must have been lost in translation because I received a text message that said I missed my payment date.

Karen was great, friendly, personable and efficient. She instantly found my account, told me what I needed to do, made the corrections for me, offered me a product from ADT, explained the program thoroughly. I would definitely hire this person. She’s a great representative of ARW.

A representative from ARW called us yesterday and said they got our cancellation letter and if I would give him a chance he would get things right and he would call us back in the morning with a resolution. So I said ok. First thing this morning he called back and said they are mailing us a check. I was impressed with this company and have recommended them to everyone until the microwave mess. I am so happy they finally got this resolved. I will not be canceling at this time and unless I have another issue I will recommend them to others. I'm glad they restored the faith I had in their services.

I had received text, email and several calls concerning my balance. I had spoken with someone earlier about my information being compromised and I provided a date in which I would make a payment. I received call after call concerning my payment. I really felt like I was being HARASSED. It is no easy feeling when your information has been compromised and then a company that you deal with continues to call about a payment that already had bee discussed. I was not a happy person. Ronald tried to explain company policies, he was nice, but I was ready to cancel until I spoke to him. Please if someone has spoken with you concerning a payment, stop the continuous calling. Ronald is the reason I improve the star rating to a 3 instead of 1. Even when I have not made an arrangement, I have never in my life, experienced the HARASSMENT I felt on that day.

Many questions asked and needed answers. Was treated very well by staff members trying to answer all concerns. Everything was taken care of and was helped with patience and kindness. Thanks to all who help me.

Donna was very helpful and discussed the security system available! Changed my credit card information and ran the payment. She was very professional and helpful. She also asked if I had any other questions about the service I was receiving. I have no problems at this time.

I called regarding the customer portal which says that I owe more money than I should be paying. Joe inform me that the portal was not working and the best way to solve a problem is to contact ARW. He was very nice, explain what I needed. I suggested that if the customer portal was not customer friendly or not working that you should get rid of it altogether.

The representative, Ronald was very polite and understanding when I explained the problem with our account with our debit card. It had been change. We had to update our account and issue a new card. We have used the service once and we were very satisfied with the service we have received.

A letter from the CEO, undated...another example of poor communication with ARW. Telling me the experience would improve BUT the costs will rise. That is always a good customer relations ploy. Also suggesting claims would take place in the US... I am sure they took place in the US...just the operators used were cheaper labor...and could not understand English. I am disgusted with ARW and the CEO Brauser.

My payment didn't go through and the representative was very helpful and friendly even called me back the next day as promised. I don't remember her name but please give her credit for this review. She was great.

I was contacted by Jason ** who I had spoken with before at length for insurance that ARW offers. As before, Jason was expertise in conveying the insurance available and the reason why ARW was the insurance to have. I had already insured all my appliances and ac. I soon as I heard the value and pricing to insure the sewer and water lines from my property to the utilities end of the street; I was sold. I have used the ARW insurance because my dryer went out. I paid the 50 dollar fee and the repair man was there that afternoon. After having to wait just one day for parts; I was back drying clothes as if the machine was new.

Very professional experience this morning working with Charlene renewing my account. She was very attentive to my situation and took care of me in an excellent and professional manner. Extremely satisfied with my interaction today! Charlene is an exceptional employee!

The young lady was very helpful and understanding, she was calling me about payment, told me what happened with the bank card. Will be getting a new one today after 4 and they said my money should be available tom.

Received very good customer service from Donna. She was very pleasant and solved my problem very quickly. She checked to see if we add taken advantage of the ADT offer, and I advised we had. We have been very satisfied with ARW.

Donna was great helping me add another appliance to our account and updating my payment information. She was also very helpful connecting us to the customer rate ADT service so we can update our alarm system. Donna was incredibly nice and helpful.

Joel was very helpful today on my billing questions. I usually don't have any issues with my payment, 'cause it's taken directly out of my account, he was very successful in helping me. I recommend this company to my close friends and family.

The agent that sold me the policy told me that if an appliance broke that they would fix it and it would be fixed quickly. I read my contract when it came and saw there was a $500 cap on appliance and $1,000 cap on HVAC, so that was the first lie the agent told me. When I called to schedule a claim, it took 2 weeks for them to come see my fridge. I was then sent a letter a week later saying my claim was denied and that they would send me $300, not $500. They took $200 to pay the appliance co for the assessment. Why would they go with a company that charges $200 for an assessment. I thought the $55 covered the assessment. I called the appliance co to pay out of pocket to fix my fridge and its been about a month and my fridge is still not fixed.

Was treated with respect and she Charlene answered my questions and was taken care of quickly and done right away so I could be able to fill like all. My questions were answered and asked me about free services that I could have. Thanks.

My customer rep Chalene did a wonderful job in assisting me with my bill, I appreciate very good service, I would tell others to use American home service for their home warranty, this is a good company to do business with.

I was helped by young man named Joel. He was both polite and cordial as he explained the situation. We resolved the situation by using an additional form of payment. I don’t typically write reviews, but because Charea was so nice I decided to make an exception.

He DID NOT pressure me in any way to upgrade my services, but instead educated me on how upgrading would be a benefit to me. He took the necessary time (even though it was well over the 30 minute time limit the reps get; which I feel is EXTREMELY rude for a company to do) to make sure he answered all my question to where I understood. I absolutely enjoyed speaking with him and I told him talking with him helped me to not cancel my service with ARW.

My card was stolen and I’m waiting for a new one, representative was kind and understanding. She apologized for having to call again even though it is noted in the computer. And asked if there was anything she could do for me.

Very courteous and helpful. Offered security system package as a service. Answered all my questions. Ronald was a pleasant person to talk with as well. Ronald explained what is covered on my policy. Sent me a follow-up email as well to show my coverage.

Had a payment issue come up and Karen took care of it right away. So far I am pleased with the Customer Support and Service Provided. It is Nice to not have to Worry about everyday problems. Will definitely give me the peace of mind I Need on this issue.

The customer rep hospitality was out of this world. If I had to rate her I've give 1000. She was so polite, knew what she was doing. If I want someone to help that who I would call to help me out everytime.

Karen helped me and was very nice and helpful getting my payment processed since my card was frauded and the payment didn't go thru. She helped me pay a different way temporarily until I receive my new card. She was very nice.

The representative that called me due to my card being declined was very understanding about why my payment didn't go through, and I appreciated her. She was very aware of what happens. Unfortunately more and more people are being hacked.

This is the company I would go with because honestly, Ronald was VERY VERY REPRESENTATIVE of the company. This company is professional. Than ARW and this isn't fake, it's a real person. I was able to able to explain my concerns and get a articulate answer...

Good customer service by Karen. She did everything she could to help. She reran my card and it was completed immediately, the review was sent in seconds so I could complete it promptly. I will continue to use ARW as long as I own my house.

I called in this morning to make a payment and Donna was great and nice. She really took the time to take care of my issues. Then asked me was there anything else and for me to have a great day, that was so sweet of her.

Needed to change default billing bank card. Joel was able to take care of everything in a very short time. He was very helpful, friendly and professional during our call. My wait time on the call was very minimal. I would definitely recommend calling customer service to resolve your issues.

Very seldom do you make a call or receive a call and people don't listen, Ron did. And I appreciate him taking the time to listen to my request. My payment was declined, Ron was calling me to let me know so I not only paid my bill but got it on a better date of the month for my payments.

She received my information very professionally and got me connoting the next provider. She received my payment and sent me a receipt. Also provided me with the receipt number. She told me I would receive $5 off my bill at the next payment.

Customer service rep Kevin was good at helping resolve issue. Still planning on canceling ARW. The company used was slow at fixing the problem. It took 3 weeks close to get item fixed due to part having to be ordered and canceling first appt. With company ask to fix machine.

I’m very pleased that they work with you, they help me a lot when I needed to find out what appliances I can have covered in my home. As far as the agents they all are very courteous, respectful and helpful. I definitely would recommend anyone to this company.

Kevin the representative was very understanding of my problem and he assisted me with a resolution. I called to discontinue my contract but after speaking with Kevin I decided to remain with the company for another year. It was a pleasure speaking with him.

Donna was friendly and professional. She answered my questions and connected me to the claims department also. She also put me in touch with ADT. Donna discussed my overdue bill and waited until I got my debit card. Five stars.

I bought this plan for my 70 year old father. Who was on a fixed income. I was very specific when asking about the coverages, We live in Texas and it gets very hot. I was told by not only the agent trying to sell me the policy but by a supervisor who personally called me to tell me everything For the AC, Electrical, Appliances Et cetera would Beautifully covered. My father had to file a claim. 1st the air conditioning man that they sent showed up with a T-shirt and in a car did not have Have the supplies he needed to fix anything. Told my father that he would need freon and a call but did not even tear the air conditioner apart to look. Then when the claim was filed we were informed that at cool or freon or not part of the coverage. That there are Add on that you can purchase. One of them being free on and calls.

There was an error that one of my monthly payments did not come out of my account. I called customer service to set my auto payback.. Karen from customer service was very nice and pleasant. I was happy that everything worked out so easy that I did not have to wait long.

I had insufficient funds in my account which caused auto payment to fail. I received a call from Charlene this morning reminding me of such. I asked her to process payment again due to an error on my part. Charlene was very pleasant and offered a small discount on my next payment. In addition I had previously called this morning at 8:20am eastern time ad the offices were closed. I thought this was excellent customer service because ARW proactively reached out to me to inform me about the failed payment and to ensure everything was fine with me.

I was called because my monthly payment did not go through due to a change in Debit cards. There was no pressure while I search for my new card. I was pleased to know that I was behind because of this situation. When you get a new card, you can't remember all that are connected with the card like ARW.

Karen verified my payment had gone through after I received 3 messages yesterday that payment was refused for insufficient funds. I had checked my bank balance as soon as I received the notice. There was >$300 balance. It was automatically requested by ARW computer system and went through this morning. Karen was very helpful.

Sharlene Gave Very Kind Professional and Perfect Courteous Customer Service Skills. She deserves to be in Management. She is Very Professional and Kind and Caring and Compassionate Person. She is the type of Person who could be a Leader in Management.

I spoke with Kevin regarding cancelling our service with ARW. I was very courteous and was able to convince me in maintaining the service with ARW at a much reduced level. He also offered some refund back as a result of a recent increase in premiums.

So far I am pleased with ARW. The customer service is great. When I had an issue with my refrigerator, it was promptly and conveniently taken care of. Service guy cleaned up after himself. I would recommend ARW to my family and friends.

When I called to try to get service for a dishwasher that is leaking at a rental home, besides brand, model and serial number, I had to answer their questions how it happened etc! It’s a rental so I don’t know! They refused to send someone out unless I answer their questions. So frustrating! I won’t use them again! Plus they are hard to understand!

I received such superior customer service from one of your representatives, Donna, on February 22, 2023. My Mother recently passed away and I was trying to obtain information about her ARW account as well as update her account information. Donna was very pleasant, patient and knowledgeable. Hi good morning. I am not really happy because when I choose you guys you tell me all electronic is fine. Then right now I have problems with my dryer and I have a light, I have to wait 23 days so you can apply me back and I think it’s not fair because when I pay, they told me all the electronic call defy but nobody can fight with you guys. My experience today with Karen was very very easy and quick. She was kind and made the transaction and my payment easy to make. She was pleasant the entire time I was on the phone with her. She really made me feel special and not like I was paying my bill.

I was on the phone with Brian ** who did an amazing job!!! I called to cancel our Rio Rancho address because we sold that house but was not aware I could transfer coverage to the new address. Ronald is very nice and he answered my questions well. He look at my account and told me amount due of 12/1/2023 is for next year and I already made my payment for this year from 12/1/2022 through 12/1/2023. Amount due shown in my account is for 12/1/2023 through 12/1/2024.

Charleen was very nice with customer service. She asked if she could assist with anything else and I indicated that updating my payment was all I needed to do. It is not this call that has thinking of dropping this service. I called about another issue and was not happy with the response regarding my garage door.

It was a great experience talking to the agent but I am not happy with the service. They don’t cover all you need and you have to pay out the pocket more often but the rep I was talking to was awesome. He understood and heard what I was saying.
