This is the second time A&E tech no show. This would not have happen if the wrong part was ship to me for repair. Ever since then the serviced has suck and the customer service is the worst I have ever experience. My washer has been broken for 3 and 1/2 weeks, finally hired a local person and got it fixed. Had to pay a&e 85.00 for first service call, paid 80.00 to get repaired and spent around 75.00 at the laundry mat. Makes sense to have a home warranty which also has the worst customer service. Nobody cares.

Refrigerator has been out for 3 weeks. They sent inexperienced tech to fix. Ordered wrong part. Took a week. Different tech the next week diagnosed actual problem and ordered right part. Took another week. Inexperienced guy came back and dropped screw on control board, shorting it out. Now waiting for new board. Avoid these people.

Second call to set up a repair....waiting another week. Horrible access to a human to try and straighten it out. You become at the mercy of ignorant and useless phone trolls. Don't use this service if you can avoid it.

Horrible service, 5 no show appointments, Shane technician won't come on Saturday because he told me he gets drunk every Friday night. Said he only repairman on Cape Cod. They do what he tells them. He should be fired for telling a customer that. He called once and asked if dryer drum delivered, I said, "You never mentioned a drum." I asked if he was still coming to fix the washer and he said, "I can't answer any questions until I talk to my supervisor," and hung up. I was outraged, I called another number and told lady what happened, all I got was lip service. That was 3 missed appointments ago. They have no intention of fixing washing machine.

Last appoint I went online to see ETA I was third stop to arrive at 4:45 pm Friday night, RIGHT!!! Nobody is going to start a big job at that time of day. With what Shane told me I figured he'd be on his third round at the bar. Sure enough 5:05 pm got text, "You've been rescheduled for 2 weeks." When buying appliances you don't ask what features it has, you ask who handles warranty repairs. If it's A&E Service Repair you run like hell. Scam, frustration, many missed work days, more than cost of extended warranty, liars, arrogant workers. Horrible. Stay away.

Do not I say do not use them for anything. Our refrigerator has been out over 3 weeks. Their repairperson came out, accessed the problem and order 2 parts. One came straight away. The second one didn’t make. For reappointment on the 20th. Info not updated to us and now says second item "cancelled". Why? I can’t imagine. Can’t seem to communicate with anyone who knows anything or can do anything about it. We are caught in the abyss and our fridge stands empty. We also gave $280 deposit. Hmmmm.

This company is a joke. Never consider them for any kind of service you need. The technician was extremely rude and unprofessional. He called me on the phone asking what was the problem with my unit. I told him it blows warm air and needs servicing. He said he will be at my house in 30 minutes. I went to use the bathroom and in less than 10 minutes he showed up at my door. Obviously he wasn’t 30 minutes away. I used the bathroom very quick and ran to open the door for him but he decided to close my ticket and leave because it took me one full minute to open the door for him. I asked him to come in and he said he rang the doorbell twice and since I took more than a minute to open the door, he cancelled my ticket and decided to leave. I told him, "I am home and you are on my property so let’s get this job done." He said no. I took a video of him and his van before he took off.

The guy was rude, unprofessional, obnoxious, and had an attitude from hell. I am extremely disappointed at this Mickey Mouse company. I am going to blast this incident all over social media. I question his employer A&E Factory Service. How in the world did they hire a guy like that. It’s beyond my level of comprehension. I know for a fact this company will never be able to sustain business at this rate if they hire such low quality technicians. Shame on them for allowing such behavior take place without repercussions. I took a video of the guy before left. I would like to share it but don’t know why this site doesn’t allow videos!!

Dryer was making loud noise and not working properly. 1st appt - of couse it worked ok when tech was here. He said because I couldn't re-create the problem while he was here he couldn't do anything. I asked him to take it apart and look at it anyway. He said everything looked fine. He said if it happened again to videotape it so they could hear the sound it was making.

After he left, it happened again so I videotaped it. 2nd appt - tech came out and ordered all new parts which the first tech said were fine. That was a little frustrating! 3rd appt - $80+ new parts installed. Same problem happened again the day after he left! Now I was really mad!! 4th appt - tech had to call the boss. Thinks it's now the motor and will cost $300+. Then I guess he actually looked it up and said it was $91 - not $300+. So I ordered the new motor and scheduled an install date. Then they canceled my appt because they said my part wasn't in but it was and their tracking # they sent showed it was delivered but they still canceled the appt. When you call the 800# you're speaking to someone outside of the US who is on a different day which is part of the problem. We shall see what happens after the motor install today but I would not recommend this company. Too many issues and back & forth.

Kenmore Elite refrigerator compressor went out. Sears referred us to A&E appliance repair based out of Colo Spgs, CO. It took a few weeks to get parts ordered. No problem there. We had 2 appointments with a no call - no show technician because "they thought that one of the parts was still missing". After multiple calls and effort on our part, we finally got an appointment. The incompetent technician was not prepared and had to leave our house multiple times to get different "parts". After 4 plus hours at our house he became extremely frustrated and told us that he burned a hole in the bottom of our refrigerator and it was ruined. He gathered his tools and left. Leaving the old compressor on the floor of our kitchen.

After several calls to sears, another technician "Michael" came out and verified that the refrigerator was ruined and that we would have to work with Sears about the issue. No follow up or notes were filed by either technician. And dealing with Sears is less than satisfying. A&E failed on the repair of the compressor, ruined our refrigerator, and ignored our multiple phone calls. Homeowner BEWARE!

I have never had worst service in my entire life. I had an appointment with A&E Factory Service on Wednesday, August 7th. On Thursday August 1st I got a text stating they had technicians in our area and available on Friday, August 2nd. We agreed to the earlier date and took off work Friday August 2nd. After waiting ALL day for a tech, they no showed and then sent a text that our original August 7th appointment is still on. I take off work AGAIN today (August 7th). Get an updated text mid day stating our technician is 3 stops away and should arrive between 2:15-3:36. Again they no showed. Approximately 6pm I received a text stating my appointment has been rescheduled to August 14th.

I guess these people think they are the only ones with a job to do. GE needs to fire these people! Horrible. And good luck getting any answers from them. Basically I was told the technician was “overbooked”. That’s twice he was overbooked. There’s no management to talk to. No one. Just some person in SE Asia who suggested I call GE for a different repair company. Never again

A&E Factory Service is terrible! After 4 visits for assessment/repair for my dishwasher, with an arrival time of "Between 8-12", I have had it! Repairman was a no show today! I had been getting updates by text of the appointment being made and confirmation. At 12:30 I called A&E to find out how long until the repairman would be here only to find out it was cancelled. I am a reasonable person. Had any communication FROM A&E indicated it was cancelled, I would be way less irritated.

The prior visit consisted of him replacing the pump and then leaving without even testing the dishwasher. Guess what? Turns out the problem was with the control panel! I found that out about 30 seconds into trying to run a load of dishes. His response was that he was too far away to come back and to schedule another appointment. I scheduled another. He came back and determined it was the control panel. Then I had to make another appointment to for the actual repair/no show. I initiated my first repair call early May! It is now late July and it has been inoperable since then. I have had to take off work for each of these appointments. I just want resolution!

My GE washer hasn't worked right since March when it was purchased new. I called GE and they scheduled service. A&E keeps rescheduling my appointments the day of halfway through day after I have taken off work. You get no reason explanation or point of contact. The problem is you can't communicate with them. It's automated. The number provided says you can talk to team member which is a lie.

I called GE after losing 3 days of work from them not showing and after a long grueling hour, we finally thought we got ahold of someone but it doesn't matter as they stated same line over and over in automated voice! You are at liberty of when they feel like showing up. When I called GE, the rep knew immediately it's Sears A&E because it's only service that does not allow actual communication. I'm sure my appointment will cancel again on 24th for no reason.

I will never buy from Sears or use A&E. A simple phone call goes a long way if you are going to cancel. You are being paid and have zero respect for your clients! People do not waste their lives for Sears. They appear to think they can play god. They don't care if your life is disrupted or money loss... how can they when it's impossible to reach someone? At this point, I might have to buy another washer as it's cheaper than losing day off work over and over. They should be investigated.

I want a report that they are the worst company I've ever used and they do only rely on computer and they never make their appointments and they change the dates and times of their appointments constantly. I wonder how they stay in business except that they're in demand so these warranty companies use them because they promise to go and help.

They never show up when they're supposed to and they never tell you when they're coming and they cancel without telling you. They use people that have problems understanding the English language and apparently they do not communicate with the technician at all except using a computer of which they promise you that they're going to deliver, but they never follow through. This is the second day I've worked with them where I've had to go from being at work and stay at home so that they don't show.

On June 13, I submitted a service request to my home warranty company to report a non-working ice maker. A&E was assigned to my request and an appointment was set up for June 21. On June 19 I got a call from the Chicago area (I'm in TN) asking about model number and serial number of my fridge. After speaking to them I was given a new appointment of June 28. Parts arrived 6/24 and on 6/28, NO ONE SHOWED UP even after I verified I was on the schedule for that day. Was expecting a call from A&E on the next business day to explain why they didn't show up; but no call was received. After filing a company to warranty company, a new appointment was set up for 7/5.

Again, NO ONE SHOWED UP. Contacted A&E myself (45 min wait for all back) and was told yes I'm on the schedule but no technician is assigned to my service request. Are you kidding me???? How is that possible??? This time I contacted warranty company escalation and got a call back that A&E told them that the truck broke down. I told the warranty company that they told me something entirely different and they were probably lying to them. I have now wasted two entire Fridays waiting on A&E due to the ridiculous appointment widow of 7A-6P.

It is currently June 26 11:43 am (still not my repair window), and I am getting the run around from the technician, from A&E, and from Sears. I had A&E fix my dryer. The cost was ridiculous, a five minutes part replacement cost me almost $400. They got me with a bait and switch over the phone by saying the trip charge of 179 would most likely cover the cost of the repair. They would have gotten no stars if possible. The technician was helpless, he even said they don't have a place to call when they need help in the field. If they get into an accident they are on their own to deal with it. Sounds like this company is ripe for a class action lawsuit and a labor law violations review.

I also wrote a review on Google Review and they asked me to DM them so they can address my concerns. I did and they didn't. They never got back to me at all. Feels like this is their normal operating procedure to set an expectation of Customer service and foster customer trust then switch on them after they have your money. Bad business practices.

When he arrived he was here less than 40 minutes and diagnosed my problem as a loose valve cap connecting the refridgerant set to the compressor and I am about 1 lb low on Freon without doing any pressure check for any other leaks or exactly how low the refrigeration level is. Because it was diagnosed as a valve cap issue Choice Home Warranty will not cover the repair or to have the refrigerant replaced. I had an independent AC check the system earlier and he said the refrigerant level was too low to check for leaks and the system need to be pressurized to check for any real leaks. He did not charge me a service call and would not recommend putting Freon into the AC unless the system had been properly diagnosed. I have him coming back later today to do a REAL diagnostic check of my AC system. I will never allow a A&E Sears technician need any thing in my house again that needs repair. On April 10, the serviceman put in an order for a new control board and said he would be back on April 22. No one showed up on the 22nd. So, my husband called and emailed, but we never heard back. On April 24, he got a text saying we missed our appointment. As he was reading that text, he got a text saying they were coming out that day. More phone calls and emails. We finally were rescheduled for today (May 2nd) and the serviceman showed up to put the control board in. He got the part in and said he was going to lunch as I thanked him for coming.

He didn’t test it before he left, so my son decided to test it by making a pizza. Well, only a few of the sensors were working AND we couldn’t cancel it. We had to flip the breaker to turn it off. My husband called the tech immediately and was told that he wasn’t the guy who diagnosed it and he wasn’t going to come back! This was literally less than 15 minutes after he left! Now we can’t use the oven at all unless we want to flip the breaker every time. They give you a window between 8-5 so now is already 2 days I have to take off from work to make sure be home for the technician but technician never shows. Therefore I have to called their customer service line. They were unhelpful, rude, unprofessional (just to be polite) and they reschedule my appointment but once again I have to wait another 3-4 days because according to them is not a technician available in the area. Therefore once again they have give me an arrival window from 8am to 5pm so another day that I must to take off from work because I work 1 hour away from my home.

My refrigerator not working properly, called the manufacturer GE who told me to contact Sear Home Services aka A&E Appliance Repair. Well after scheduling on an automated phone service for 9 days later the technician shows up says I need parts which are covered by the warranty of the manufacturer. Parts arrive the following week but the technician does not. Reschedule again by that automated phone service for the next appointment and again the technician is a no show. They give you a window between 8-5 then they show you where the technician is en route that you're the 3rd stop, then the 2nd, now the next but technician never shows. Then you get an email saying, "Sorry we missed you, please call this number to reschedule."

It’s a sham everyone. Don’t use this company, period or you’ll be sorry that you did like myself, but I was referred to A&E by the manufacturer. So maybe we should go after the manufacturer! At this point, I should've just said thanks but we'll just buy a new one but no. I said fix it. DO NOT LET THEM FIX ANYTHING. IT WILL NEVER GET FIXED CORRECTLY. Motherboard was ordered. Cost was $175. Labor to install said motherboard...$299! Yes, you see that correctly. Again, not sure what I was thinking!

Motherboard arrives. Tech comes to replace it. Dishwasher heating element still not working. Called them back. Sent out a different tech than the last two. He couldn't find anything wrong. Reset system and left. Heating element still not working. Called back again to have tech come out. My phone number was flagged by their system to sent me to their voicemail system where I am not able to speak to anyone live. I had to use my husband phone in order to hack their flag of me. Spoke with someone who sent an a new tech. At this point we've seen 4 techs, all different people.

This tech takes out whole dishwasher apart. Door is off, parts all over my kitchen. He then says, it is our heating element. REALLY? OMG! Put my dishwasher back to together while also breaking the cover to the control panel. All the clips are broken off so it won't lock into place (didn't realize until he was long gone and he never mentioned it to me). Heating element now on order. Less than 24 hours later, go to start my dishwasher and the control panel won't light up to work. I don't know what to say or do at this point. I want to just throw my hands up and get a new dishwasher. These people are incompetent at best. DO NOT USE THEM EVER!!! If you do, you'll regret it.

Tech called in the morning and said he was canceling the appointment because he didn’t get notification that parts were delivered. I told him we had all the parts, please do it cancel, it had already been 3 weeks. He said he couldn’t come without delivery confirmation. He canceled the appointment and it auto rescheduled me for a week later.

I called the “customer service” number which is a call center in India and they were less than helpful. They couldn’t reschedule me for sooner, instead texted me a link to try to reschedule myself. Later that night, I was able to reschedule the next day. My husband took a second day off of work and waited ALL DAY only to be called at 4:15 pm and we were told “I’m done for the day, I will not be coming”, by the tech. WHAT!??? So I told him please do not cancel the appointment, I have one scheduled for the next day. He was nasty and canceled it anyway and this set us back ANOTHER WEEK. He is extremely polite, knowledgeable, communicative, and considerate going so far to utilize a mat to slide the fridge on to avoid damaging my flooring. It did take two visits, but a set of large parts needed to be ordered and, while unfortunate that it caused a delay, its understandable... They can't stock every part for every appliance on their trucks. James was my technician for both visits and I cannot express how much gratitude I have for his customer obsession and the ownership he took in getting my issue resolved.

I do want to be clear here though that while I have had an AMAZINGLY POSITIVE experience with A&E Factory Service, I have NOT had a good experience with Sears Home Warranty Service and would not recommend that service. From what I understand, A&E Factory Service is a contractor/vendor that works with multiple home warranty services, as well as directly with their own customers. My experience with Sears was a nightmare, and A&E Factory Service was not the first contractor/vendor they sent out. After the first failed to resolve my issue nor come back out, and some fighting with Sears they finally sent A&E Factory Service who were absolutely outstanding to work with. I would HIGHLY recommend A&E Factory Service despite the issues I encountered with Sears. And a very big thank you, specifically, to James.

During this call with Conns for the appliance warranty the Rep that took the order she said that someone would be getting back to me with a 3-hour window for repair service. I did receive a email and text saying that the window was 8am to 5pm. I called Conns again and they tried calling A&E and they had no way of talking to anyone. They came inspected the microwave. All I was told by the tech he just ordered the part and they scheduled me for Sept. 27, 2023. In fact, the part was not ordered until the 21st is when I got confirmation, they just ordered the part. Had to rescheduled because part was not in and if they had ordered it when I was told on the 20th, I would have had the part and I wouldn’t had to wait. Rescheduled it for Friday Sept. 29, 2023. He came and here are the events for that visit.

    1. He prepared to remove the microwave from the wall. 2. He removed the microwave. 3. The kitchens filled with white smoke coming into the living room where I was at. 4. I came into the kitchen and it was filled with smoke. 5. The tech was standing there holding the big foam pad on the floor looking at it and tells me when I asked what happened. As he was explaining I opened the kitchen window and told him to remove the pad to the patio. The patio door was right there. 6. The explanation was that he put the pad on the stove and somehow, he turned on the stove. 7. We opened all doors and windows put a air purifier in the kitchen and the fan going. 8. He put the part in the microwave and had to come back because the stove was hot. 9. He was scrapping the stove of the film and rubber on the stove. Damage to the floor. 10. I said that the stove is ruined. He says, "No, just use vinegar and baking soda."

    11. He left and came back about 3:30 or so. My son helped him put the microwave back on the wall. 12. The microwave didn’t work. He said he had to order another part and we had to wait another week for it. 13. Rescheduled repair for Friday Oct. 6, 2023 between 8am to 5pm. 14. I ended up going to the ER for smoke inhalation.

Called on Sept. 30, to Conns and left a complaint and they said that they would escalate it and someone would get back to me. I received a call from Carlie R and she had me send the photos and I explained to her what had happened. She said that she was escalating it and that I should hear from someone shortly. I again sent her a email that I received saying that they ordered 1 part and the others are pending order. I told her that was unacceptable. I called Conns numbers times and keep getting 24 hours it’s been escalated. 24 hours never came. I have contacted Sears Home Services who is dba A&E Factory Services via online chat, email with the only thing said it would be escalated. Their numbers and A&E go to the same recording with no options to speak to someone live.

I have talked to Federal Warranty who is Assurant the first time they had all the info and the next day they couldn’t find anything on me. I have a transcript of the conversation. They told me that they have nothing to do with my claims but they are on Conns brochures for the purchases of the warranties. On Oct 6, I called Conns Plus at 3:50pm (855-266-6349) to verify that my appointment was going to be met. The call lasted 33 minutes and she did some verifying and came back and replied that they were running late that they would be at my residence by 6pm. Then I get a text message at 5:11pm stating that my appointment has been rescheduled to 10/9 no time indicated. I called Conns and was told again that there was nothing they can do they can not get ahold of anyone.

I have filed a complaint online through A&E Factory and received confirmation they received the complaint and Sears Home Services Via chat they said they had escalated the problem. Talking live goes to a recording for scheduling or rescheduling only. I searched them through Sec of State and the city of Las Vegas no license. I searched their website and found their license info does not show Nevada but yet their websites show address that go to other businesses or malls. All their phone numbers listed goes to the same recording for scheduling and rescheduling. From Sept. 20 to present my microwave isn’t fixed, I have a ruined stove, damaged floor and a medical bill for $10000 plus. No one has reached out to me after emails, online request, phone calls, photos.

This company came out on a Monday diagnosed the problem and ordered a part. The part was supposed to arrive on the Thursday. Thursday around noon I get a voicemail saying I need to confirm that the part arrived. UPS was delivering the part and they don’t pass in my location that early it’s usually not till 3- 4 o’clock in the afternoon or later. The number they leave in their message message does not give you the option to confirm that the part arrived. So the next day the technician didn’t come out.

Why I need to confirm that the part arrived to begin with is ridiculous because they are the one that orders it and they have the tracking info. Then after staying on the phone for hours trying to talk to someone to get my appointment rescheduled he tells me that their website is down that I’ll have to call back. So I came home & I installed the part of myself I ain’t messing with this company. I will be finding out if it’s Lowe’s that contracts this company or Samsung. If it is Lowe’s I will NEVER buy another appliance there. I’m gonna bring myself to Best Buy because their warranty is not a circus.

The appointment was confirmed with a text message prior to 8 am on 9/1. However, the tech did not show up as promised between 8 am & 5 pm. At 4:45 pm I called to check and see if the tech was still coming. I was told he would be there by 5:15 and would call 15 minutes prior to arrival. By 6:30 pm no call, text or service tech arrived so we made plans for dinner. Since it was a long holiday weekend no call center was available.

I called at 8 am on Tuesday morning to verify we were still on the schedule. After 15-20 minutes back and forth on hold, I was given a rescheduled time 3 days later. REALLY! I asked if it was possible to get someone out today by possibly rearranging other appointments (or just skipping someone as I had been on Friday), however, that was not offered. I asked the service man to wait 30 minutes. He said NO. I asked what the policy is for A&E to follow-up and he said there is none. He said his job was to replace the condenser and he did. First of all, if I could, I would award no stars to A&E Factory Service. The back story is that our Kenmore freezer needed a new door gasket. I contacted Sears to arrange for a repair person to install the needed door gasket. As I understand, Sears contacted A&E Factory Service which sent a repair person to our house. The service person stated that he didn't have the part and would have to order the same at a cost of $540.00 which I thought was out of the question. He then informed me for $300.00 he could install the needed gasket, but I would have to pay cash upfront which I stupidly did.

Now after two weeks of waiting I have given up. It seems that the service repair person works for Turner's Family Heating and Cooling Service, which to my dismay, has a terrible work record. Researching the situation even more, I found that Sears Appliance Repair, A&E Factory Service, and Turner's Family Heating and Cooling all have terrible reviews. We purchased our refrigerator in November 2022. Within a month there was a water leak in the ice maker. It would drip onto the fan and freeze it and a horrible noise that sounded like an airplane landing in the yard would emit from the unit. We had a repairman out who couldn’t find anything wrong. We had taken everything out of freezer and relocated it to an outside freezer and turned this freezer section off. While waiting for the repairman to get here. He told us if it happened again to let it keep running and if it ruins the appliance we would be able to get a new one. We didn’t want to do that so every time it happened, which was every few days, we went through the motions of removing everything and relocating. This was very inconvenient and annoying. Trying to get a hold of anyone to set up a repair visit is almost impossible.

When we finally got the second person out to look at it, he informed us that he knew what was wrong, and it was a manufacturer problem that he had reported to them but they just ignored him. He could fix it but he didn’t have the little tube with him that he needed to repair it. So he told us to set up another appointment, which is definitely like pulling teeth, and when he finally came out the second time he put the little tube in and it fixed the problem. That was in February of this year. The unit is still under warranty so there was no charge.

This is May 10 and we just received a bill in the mail from A&E for $ 172. For service on April 18, 2023. The bill has no telephone number to call and speak to anyone. This has happened twice. I have attempted to locate a different repair service on my own with no luck.

I have contacted GE executives to get involved and that has not helped the situation … yet. I refuse to contact A&E directly as my frustration gets worse by trying to talk to someone who can actually help me there. The GE execs have been very responsive so far but GE needs to find another service company that actually works! I would give this company zero stars if it were available.

    I have three complaints.

    1. The SAMSUNG representative I spoke with who arranged for this repair ticket told me the service technician would call me before they came and I could the find out how much it would cost to have him out to diagnose the error and I could also get a rough estimate to fix based on the error code showing on the dishwasher.

    2. He never called ahead and the number that was listed on the text message I received from A&E regarding this appointment never connected

    3. When the technician got here, he never looked at the machine, never inspected it and in fact the power to the machine was never connected. Based on the error code I told him I saw he sat at my kitchen table for ½ hour and looked up part numbers and talked about his son’s college experience and subsequent job hunt. Then he told me to repair electronics would cost roughly between $480 to $500 and the service call was $129.00.

I am very unhappy with this service. If they had called ahead like promised and I knew what it would cost just to have him come out to my house, I would never have had him come out. He could have done over the phone exactly what he did sitting here in my house. This was a complete rip off and I rate this service ZERO.

A few months ago our trash compactor stopped working, it was and is still under warranty. A&E came out about a week after it was reported. The Tech couldn't move it from under the counter, after he left my husband got it out by moving a part of the appliance that had slipped. He came back about two weeks later for us to be told that the manufacturer wouldn't pay for the needed part but he would put the work order through. Didn't hear back so after three weeks we called them and was told the job was not approved. Another call to the Manufacturer to be told the job was marked "completed' and they no part needed was requested nor denied.

We were assured that our compactor would be fixed and scheduled another visit from A&E who called the day of to say that there was no point in him coming out since he didn't order the needed part. 4th call to the manufacturer, again they assured us the work would be done. Scheduled visit and confirmed appointment again, even on the day of service 16th Jan 23. No call, no show by Jeffery the Tech with A&E after waiting in all day. All four time the manufacturer was charged $130.00 for doing absolutely nothing. 5th call to manufacturer to be told a new appliance would be delivered on Jan 18th. A&E are an abysmal company in my area and are nothing more than shysters and should be investigated.

This is an ABSOLUTE NIGHTMARE!! They deserve negative stars. I have been through the wringer with your outsourced contractor for scheduling. You ARE NOT providing the service I paid for, at all. I have called this 800# over 5 times in less than 24 hours and have been different things each time regarding my appointment that was scheduled FOR TODAY!!!

The phone tree options change on top of being almost impossible to get a person on the phone. Between Lowe's and A&E Factory Service, you have failed, epically. You don't provide the service promised and scheduled, therefore you have taken my money deceptively. The tech had to reschedule us last week due to our washer and dryer being stacked (would have been nice to have had that addressed in the original scheduling call) and told us they'd be back on the 22nd. I didn't realize the part the tech ordered a week ago was going to be coming to my house. SO when I get an automated call from the scheduling company to confirm delivery of said part to hold my appointment, I am concerned and confused.

I call them to find out, yes, that part is shipping to me and I need to call by 5pm to confirm its arrival to keep my appointment for the 22nd. The rep can't tell me if that's 5pm PST or EST, it makes a difference. 30 minutes later the part arrives, and I call to say it's here, don't cancel my appointment for tomorrow. The phone tree has changed, and I can't get a live person through the option of selecting "existing appointment", nor does it have the option to confirm my part has arrived! I use the schedule an appointment option to get a representative to confirm my appointment, who tells me I have no appointment and I have to wait until Dec 2nd. I had a few choice words and hung up. Called back to ask for a supervisor and the gal I talked to confirmed my part and told me my appointment for the 22nd was good.

Today I get no calls from the tech confirming they will be here today. I call the 800# again and automated system tells me my appointment is scheduled for the 2nd. I call the schedulers again to find out what the hell is going on with a supervisor. He kept telling us. "I see your appointment was originally set for yesterday the 21st" and we had to keep correcting him that it is for today. He had no answers as to why we were confirmed for today and told us we had to call our warranty company! Are you freaking kidding me?! We had to argue with him for almost 30 mins for him to say he'd put us on a cancelation list for Thursday (on Thanksgiving y'all!!), WTAF. At this point we wait and see if they can get do us a favor and get someone tomorrow or Friday.

They blocked out an entire day (8am - 5pm) to schedule to have me wait for a technician to come out to do the repair.

First off our lawn mower broke down on June 4th, the guy came out one time, never listened to anything I had to say about what the lawn mower is doing, didn't get on it and ride it, even though I asked him to please listen to it while I drove it and then drive it for himself. Parts were ordered. They showed up on September 7th finally. This is the third time that we've had to have this lawn mower repaired in the 2 years that we have owned it. We have only put 97 hours on it and we own an acre and a half. It takes an hour and 45 minutes to mow it every time.

The first two times the technician did not want to listen or try to consider my concerns on the lawn mower. He also did the same thing this last time. We called and under the warranty that we purchased, and mind you we have over $4,000 in this lawn mower including the warranty, ask for a replacement or a check. Three different times now the repairman was supposed to come out and determine whether or not the lawn mower was fixable and all three times they were no call, no show because of this I missed 3 days of work and didn't get paid. I also had to pay a lawn maintenance company $400 to mow my lawn.

It is unbelievable how this company is even in business. I will never go to Sears and buy anything else ever again. They don't want to hold up their end of the warranty and I want everyone that reads this to know and understand they have had ample time and opportunity. I am writing this review as of September the 10th 2022. I am waiting for phone calls that they neglect to make and the repairman to show up and the only thing I'm getting from this company is my hard-earned money down the drain.

I even went into the Sears store where I purchased the lawn mower and was basically told I'll make some phone calls but there's nothing I can really do so meanwhile I'm sitting here with a lawn mower that sounds like it's about to blow up the deck and the blades rattle like crazy low gear in the lawn mower is hit and miss. I've already had it repaired twice and now they refuse to show up this third time so we can get the replacement approved. I chose this lawn mower based on the Kohler 7000 series 26 horsepower engine and the clear cut fabricated deck, I cannot believe that I spent over $4,000 between the lawn mower the warranty and oh by the way the Sears credit card that they got the interest on so they don't mind taking my money but they don't want to make any of this right all I keep getting when I call in is "oh please give us another chance".

Purchased a GE Dishwasher from Lowe's and bought 3 year extended warranty. Timer on Dishwasher failed. Called Lowe's Extended warranty and they scheduled A&E Factory Repair services to come out to repair it. A&E technician arrived, took pictures of dishwasher label and ordered the timer for the dishwasher. He proceeded to say their next available service date was one week out. We scheduled it. He said that the part would be shipped to our house and be here when he came back one week away. Fast Forward a bit. The part arrived. Came from GE APPLIANCES. But the box looked big. So I opened the box to check. The Part Number on the Label of the box, did not match the part number on the packing invoice. The part they shipped... was a large plastic bin for a Refrigerator. Not a timer.

I texted the Service Tech and he replied that he needed to talk to his supervisor to get the correct part reordered. This was on a Friday. Didn't hear anything back until today, the original service date. A&E called and said that there wasn't a technician available in the area and that we needed to reschedule service. I explained the whole situation. He looked up our service call and said that correct part had never been reordered. So he contacted the ordering department to reorder the correct part and they are supposed to call me. I said... "OK.... so do we go ahead and schedule a new service date for them to come out?" He said "NO.... we have to wait until I get the part in, to call and reschedule to appointment." Grrrr!!!! All while.... we have no use of our dishwasher!!!!

    Here were the Failures:
    1. GE APPLIANCEPARTS shipped the wrong product. (Not A&E's fault.)
    2. A&E Service Tech failed to reorder correct part, knowing that it needed to be done.

    3. A&E Scheduler failed to schedule new appointment, even with new part coming. (Delay.)

A&E Website states right on their webpage: "Service you can Count on!" Which is why I am writing this review. Next time.... I'll order the part and replace it myself using Youtube. Won't purchase any more Lowe's Extended Service Plans. Won't call on A&E to do any more repairs for my products.

While I was still on that call a text message from them flashed at the top of my phone stating that my appointment was canceled. So I called the company and the young lady I spoke to advised me that because I had canceled the appointment there was nothing she could and she refused to believe that I had not canceled the appointment.

Thanks to technology of today I was not tied to my home because I knew that I could get updates however the problem is that I scheduled the appointment two weeks prior for a non-functioning range which was emitting the smell of gas. Therefore the range was disconnected and I was unable to use it. And after I spoke to her on the phone or actually while I was speaking to her another text message flashed across my phone saying that my appointment has been changed to another date two weeks out. When I explained that I had just received another text message she claimed that I had requested it and I let her know how do I request it when I’m on the phone with you now. She further explained that because the system said that I had canceled it I would have to call Lowe’s because there was nothing she could do.

At the present time representatives at Lowes are attempting to contact the district manager to see if they can do something for me on their end but as it stands now it will be a month almost since I initially scheduled the appointment. After I explained I didn't pay the insurance for knock offs he refused to change them all as they weren't completely broken but very worn. One week later same thing. Unstacked them again as instructed. New tech came out RUDE as ever. Said he'd have to order parts. After waiting a month for back order part we were informed our case was closed due to hostile work environment. Worst company ever. Was happy I found another repair company that was absolutely amazing.

A E Factory Service was sent out to my house by Cinch Home Services. Refrigerator stopped working. Tech came out and declared evap fan and bimetal strip bad. Parts ordered. Different tech came to install parts. After tech installed parts and sitting in van, I noticed fan not working on refrigerator. I asked tech about fan and he stated fan would come on when refrigerator reached a certain temperature. Within 30 minutes of tech leaving the house, the refrigerator stopped working completely. A week later the same tech came out and stated the refrigerator needed a new wiring harness. The invoice I received showed the same fan and bimetal strip were ordered again but no wiring harness.

A different tech came and replaced the new fan and bimetal strip with a new fan and bimetal strip. He then told us the refrigerator needed a new wiring harness and that he would speak to his supervisor about the problem. Today when I looked at the status of the job under Cinch Home Services (I have written a letter to the BBB about this company), I noticed A E Factory Services closed the job when the refrigerator does not work. Not a quality company in my mind.

This was the worst experience I have ever had working with a company. I don't normally post reviews good or bad but his experience was so frustrating and left me feeling stiff armed, robbed and feeling like I had no rights. The initial service call communication was good and I knew they were coming between the hours of 8am and 5pm, so I waited around all day. Tech showed up at 4pm and by 4:15 told me that I needed some parts and they would get them ordered and have them shipped to my house. He would be able to come back on a date two weeks later. "Please sign here to confirm that this will work for you." So I did. Here to find out that by signing it also included the cost for the service $588 just in labor. The parts were covered by the warranty. The Tech showed up for the repair and was done in an hour and half so I was billed $588 in labor for an hour and half of work. This left me feeling robbed.

After he was done he said that he emailed me the link to make the payment and would not be able to leave until payment had been made. I went on to the payment site and was not given any detail of the service till after payment had been made. Talk about leaving a customer without any option or understanding of what they are paying for. to top it all off, the tech left all the garbage from the packaging in my kitchen and didn't clean up. Also not one time did he take his shoes off to come into my home and walked across my white carpet. I had to mop up the floor after he left to clean up some oily mess that was left. And he sat in my driveway for a half an hour after I made the payment.

Please note that after he sent the link he turned around and walked outside and sat in his van. I walked out. Told him I had paid and said great and rolled up the window. If I could I would give this company 0 stars. I should add that I had my LG fridge worked on and had to go through LG to get the service scheduled so I was forced to use the provider the LG chose. Needless to say DO NOT buy LG appliances and DO NOT use A&E Factory services.

KEEP AWAY FROM THIS SCAMMING COMPANY! My worst experience with a repair service. I don't know why Lowe's would use the company. Very unprofessional and lazy technician. So lazy, he parked his company van on my new concrete driveway to avoid walking an extra 15 feet. The van left a puddle of oil (10 inches in diameter) and oil drops down to the street. He replaced a refrigerator seal and the final product looks worse than before. The refrigerator still makes the same grinding sound which was the reason for the service. I called the company and felt as if I were speaking to some overseas scammers. They transfer me to a self-proclaimed "supervisor" who reads from a script.

When I asked for a resolution to the oil on my driveway because my HOA will fine me, her response was there nothing they can do. I requested to speak to her manager and was placed on hold for over 17 minutes. She came back reading her script again, "Sir sorry for the wait. Your complaint has been escalated and forwarded up to the team". Again I request a manager and she said she was the last person I would speak with. I requested the technician's field supervisor to respond to my residence so he can observe the damage to my driveway. She replied there was none that she knows of. Horrible customer service.

Our dishwasher wouldn't heat dry any longer. It was still under our extended warranty through A&E so we called and had a "technician" come check it out. He was on his phone trying to diagnose the issue, as these "techs" don't seem to know anything about appliance repair. They use the internet or some kind of app or program to learn to diagnose and repair things.

So he decided that it needed three parts and said they'd be shipped to the house and he'd be back to do the work. Parts came around two weeks later, but when the time came for the "technician" to show up, we got a call saying they needed to cancel and we'd have to reschedule. No biggie, stuff happens. The next scheduled time, another cancelation. And another and another. I called to reschedule and complain and the woman said she GUARANTEED someone would show this time, as we'd been canceled three times in a row. Time came and got canceled AGAIN.

I would absolutely not recommend this service. If you have the option to get an extended warranty on a new appliance, make certain it's not through A&E Factory Service. They are incapable, unreliable and untrustworthy. At this point, I'll probably do the repair myself and try to get my money refunded for the extended warranty I paid for. Absolute garbage business. They take your money and do not provide any kind of service.

This is my second experience with this company and their slipshod services. It pretty much echoes the first, just different appliance. One to two weeks to get the technician out. They have to order parts. Another two weeks for them to return to install. So, I had the experience of no refrigerator for 3 weeks, now am on one month and counting for my washer. Each time they had parts shipped to my home, both times not given any means of tracking said parts, so in the case of the washer, had two parts to be ordered, tech to return in one week to install.

One part had arrived, was told that 2nd part had not been shipped yet and would reschedule. Part had not arrived still, day before rescheduled return and I was told, no there was only the one part needed so he would be out to install. Next I get the call that the technician will not be available and he can be out in another week and a half. Which now makes 32 days from initially call/schedule for repair. Apparently for my extended warranty through Lowe's, these are the only people I am allowed to use. Otherwise, I certainly would not use them.

TOTAL DISASTER: my refrigerator stopped cooling after two years; called in warranty service (A&E Appliance Repair). 1. Took 2 weeks to get “technician” in. 2. “Technician” took 30 seconds to determine that 5 parts required to be replaced including compressor, coil, etc.; took three weeks to get parts. Charges me $250-half of full labor charge. 3. “Technician” comes to install parts and does not have proper tools to perform work; I have to wait another 2 weeks for him to come back; he puts on his log that there was no-one home when he called to cover his failure to bring the proper tools.

    4. “Technician” comes back two weeks later, installs parts, and declares refrigerator is working fine; he says I have to wait 24 hours to get it down to proper temperature. Charges me remaining $250 of labor charge ($500.+ total). 5. REFRIGERATOR STILL IS NOT FIXED AS I CAN ONLY GET FREEZER TEMPERATURE TO 25F AND REFRIGERATOR TO 50F. 6. Had to hire another contractor out of pocket to fix problem. Contractor states that replacement of 5 parts was not necessary and that it was probably done to "jack up" labor charge. AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS.

On February 16, 2022, I scheduled a service call with A & E to repair my GE double oven. I provided them the error code F 96 which specifically stated the part that was needed to repair the oven. The serviceman came to my home unprepared and without the part, He verified, in fact that I had provided the correct part that was needed. He wanted $400 in advance (in which we charged to Discover) to order the part and have it delivered to my home. He scheduled a time in March to install the part. The next day I cancelled the order and the March service call as we could not go approximately 3 weeks without an oven.

I have a verified text from A & E that my Discover card would be credited in 14-21 days. As of June, 2022 and several follow up calls to A & E my Discover card has not be credited and I am out $400. In full disclosure, I informed A & E that they never cancelled the part and it was delivered to my home. They said they would send me a mailing label so that I could return it. Mailing label was never sent to me and I still have the part. Would be happy to return if they would credit my Discover card and send a mailing label.

Plot thickens: I filed a dispute with Discover regarding the charge and A & E stated to Discover that they performed the service, fixed the oven and the customer was satisfied. Absolutely, not true! I have documentation that GE repaired my oven on February 22, 2022. From reading the reviews I am not the only one that is dissatisfied with A & E. Factory Services.

Our Frigidaire dishwasher went out before Christmas, 2021 while under extended warranty with Frigidaire. A call to the warranty service phone number got a recording saying they were closed for the holidays. Finally, on January 4, 2022, they answered their phone and set up an appointment with A&E, their designated service company, who came out, said it needed a part they would order and to call them back when the part came in. This went on for about three or so trips to our house by A&E. Each trip took weeks to complete: reschedule the trip, wait for parts to arrive, and reschedule follow-up with A&E. Finally Electrolux (Frigidaire) put in a claim for a replacement machine. Several weeks later, not hearing back, I called and they said the claim had been denied.

The A&E service person returned in May, this time with another service man, and declared the machine unrepairable and called Electrolux technical support an put in a claim for replacement. Heard nothing so after several weeks I called Electrolux and they said the claim had never been filed. Then, out of the blue, Electrolux called and gave me the model number for the replacement machine and today, June 17, 2022, we have a dishwasher again. Had to pay $240 to get it delivered and installed. I fault A&E for the long time it took to get this resolved, and am very dissatisfied. I am also not happy with Frigidaire warranty personnel - they couldn't seem to get their act together and added to the delay in time. And, I ended up with a huge box of parts that were unnecessary and expensive. Five and 1/2 months we hand washed dishes trying to resolve this. I will never take out an extended warranty with Frigidaire again.

Timeline for Refrigerator Repair. 5/9/22 - Service requested. 5/17/22- A&E Technician came out and ordered parts. Says parts are backordered. Called and scheduled appointment for 5/31/22. 5/31/22 - Around 11:00 I had not heard from technician as to when they would be coming out; called A&E. Was told that all the parts had not arrived; therefore, technician wouldn’t be coming. I indicated my frustration that someone should have called to let me know that there was another part that hadn’t come and technician wouldn’t be coming. 6/1/22 - Another part arrived; called A&E and set up repair service for 6/15/22. 6/15/22 - Had not heard from technician again by mid-morning; called A&E. First person indicated that there was a FOURTH part that had not arrived, but once again, I had taken the day off from work to be at home waiting for a technician from 8-5 to arrive that was not coming. I asked to speak to a supervisor.

The next person I spoke to told me that they could see on their end that the part was backordered and there was no timeframe as to when it would be available. I called American Home Shield and spoke to Byron. He spoke with A&E and said that someone would be contacting me within 24 - 48 hours on what the next step would be. 6/17/22 - Called American Home Shield and indicated that I had not heard anything on the status of the part. Representative called A&E and reported that the “part” was supposed to be delivered on 6/15 and should be here by today. I was skeptical about this since the hour+ that I was on the phone with them on 6/15 didn’t indicate that there was a part that was going to be delivered. I asked if there was anything she could do to speed up the repair process once the part arrived since I have been without a refrigerator for over a month.

While I was on the line with her, she wrote an email to them asking them to make my request a priority. Next I called A&E to set up an appointment even though part hadn’t arrived. Kailey from A&E told me that the part is still backordered and there was no indication when the part would be available. She gave me the part number DA97-08724N and said that the warranty company (American Home Shield) would have to figure out what to do next. Called American Home Shield back and went through the whole ordeal again. Spoke with Onica who called A&E to try to find answers. Currently I am still on hold 20:00+ minutes. She just got back to me - the part that is backordered is a evaporator cover and she said again there was no time frame for when the part would be available. I said that was unacceptable.

My contract with American Home Shield says that they are responsible for fixing my appliances; if that’s not possible then they need to replace my refrigerator. Onica came back and said that A&E would be contacting me with the plan for what they will do about the refrigerator. I said that was supposed to happen today based on what Byron told me on 6/15 and that I needed to know today what the plan was going to be. I am currently on hold while Onica tries to resolve this with A&E. I’ve been on this call from 42+ minutes.

I called A&E customer support at 4:45 and heard lots of excuses from an Indian call center rep. Was then transferred to the tech himself, who said he was just "running behind" and couldn't make it out that day. That info would have been helpful to know far earlier in the afternoon. I was galled that he couldn't be bothered to call me and tell me proactively. I asked to be put on the schedule ASAP for the next morning (Thursday). Tech said he'd see what he could do but couldn't commit to anything specific.

Called the A&E number the following morning (Thursday) and got an automated message that my appointment had been rescheduled for Friday. I will be out of town on Friday, and I had asked the no-show tech specifically for a Thursday. Nearly impossible to get in touch with a live person in customer support (Indian call center rep was a miracle). No information on diagnostic or house call fees. A horribly run operation all around. Technician tries to call HIS OWN COMPANY and refers him to a completely different company who our “warranty” is through. They are ZERO help to him. He tells me he will order the part himself and when it comes in, will repair the fridge. The fridge is still broken, and when calling to ask about our service to be done they have no “open service needed”. There is no record of needing any additional services or repairs.

I CANT EXPLAIN ENOUGH- this company is a SCAM. When I try to speak to someone, they refer, refer and refer to EVERYONE in other departments until they finally say they need me to pay a deductible…. which has already been paid. It’s not our fault the wrong part was ordered. I will not give them any more money. WE ALREADY PAY MONTHLY. To cancel the warranty- we would need to pay the remaining balance of the warranty.... So they ordered a new door and had to reschedule the service appointment for March 21st. March 21st came and the repairman showed up, opened up the box with the new door and it was WHITE.... All, I repeat, ALL of my appliances are stainless. He goes 'uh this isn't going to work, it must have been the new guy that ordered this." Well no kidding. It isn't going to work. So he ordered another door - hopefully the correct one and rescheduled the service call again to April 4th.

I just get a call today, April 1st, that they need to reschedule the appointment because the microwave door will not be delivered to me until April 5th. And now the only or earliest appointment available is April 11th - so now that puts us a month with no microwave, stove fan or stove light. This is completely unacceptable. He told us that it was just cosmetic and that it would cost a lot to fix and wasn't worth it because our LG refrigerator was a bad model and it would be failing soon (it was less than 2 years old). He went on to sell us a Sears Warranty plan since it would cover the refrigerator when it went. He told me it would cover all my appliances and cleaning out of my dryer as well. When I called a month later to get my dishwasher looked at and dryer cleaned out, I was told that the cleaning of the dryer was extra money and the dishwasher may not be covered.

Then she told me they had no service people in our area!!! Just to get through to someone in Sears Warranty was a nightmare and when I finally did...no help. So, I cancelled the warranty (after wasting 3 months of payments). To cancel was another nightmare so I finally went through my credit card company because I was on hold for over almost an hour! I'm not sure if A & E knew that their technician was selling Sears Warranties or if he did it on his own. LG called and they told LG they were booked and could not make it. You can not get a human on the phone so you are left to their devices. Never again. I took the day off of work to be home for the technician. My window was 11-2. No one showed up, no one called. I called at 4:30 and was told that the technician would be at my house before 5. I was on the service rotation. When no one was there by 6:00, I called again and they were closed. I was rescheduled for February 17 between 12-5. Again, no phone call, no email, nothing.

Took the SECOND day off. At 3:30 I called to confirm they were coming and was told they would be at my house at 4:19 (yep, that's right, 4:19, not 4:20 or 4:30). 4:19 came and went. I called again at 5:15 and was told I was still on the rotation and a technician would be at my house. I was also told they were there answering phone 24/7. I called back at 6:15 and they were closed. Now I'm reschedules for MARCH 8!! TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE!! I have taken TWO days off and my range is still not working. Our dryer has been broken for the past 5 months (since the summer). The dryer is an Electrolux brand, and after speaking to a rep from Electrolux when this all began five months ago, they suggested reaching out to A&E Services as they were one of their recommended local "certified" servicing companies for washers and dryers.

I really don't have to go into all of the details since their overall rating score says it all, but A&E is absolute trash. Let's see... By now we've had a total of 6 technicians come out to try and repair with no success. The second to last visit, the technician didn't know the model of our dryer, and was looking up YouTube videos on the spot. The last visit, there were two techs: one junior and one senior, and neither understood what was causing the problem. They ordered some parts and the parts arrived, but then all of a sudden it all stopped: we would have follow up appointments booked, but they would get cancelled the day of because "the technician is not available".

We've had this happen for the fourth time today, and are pretty fed up with it. I'm convinced at this point with so many cancellations that there isn't a tech competent enough to come and fix the dryer, and after having waited 5 months, my wife and I are pretty much done. Will likely go to Home Depot and buy a new one and report A&E to Electrolux.

Had A&E service come in Jul 2021 through Sears Home Services to repair a kenmore refrigerator. The technician offer to reduce the cost of 1000$ Repair to 500$ if we buy a Cinch Home warranty. We did. Refrigerator stopped working again in September 2021. Tried having multiple technicians come over to repair from cinch but no one wanted to touch it as they said the issue was caused by a bad welding job by the A&E technician on the initial request which caused the freon to leak and affected all other parts. After fighting with cinch for months they sent the A&E technicians again in jan 2021. They Accepted the poor job on their part, worked on the refrigerator for 2 days and replaced multiple parts. Assured it would work now. Gave us their cell number to call in case the bottle freeze test fails.

It failed and we tried contacting them multiple times without a response. Called A&E and they are not willing to help as the service request is already closed. Meanwhile after 2 days I got an email that the A&E technician created a service appointment. I waited and no one showed up and at the end of the day I get an email that I authorized them to replace some parts with my forged signature. Now I am again calling cinch and trying to have them send these guys again to fix what they started. I am seriously considering contacting an attorney to sue them.

The first Tech Anslem diagnosed it. Said parts would be shipped to me but he closed out the work order per his manager Jackie. This was in December 2021. So I called back and cinch rescheduled sears to come back out on february 2, 2022. This time Cheikh came onsite and Jackie once again said no he could not fix it. Cheikh said if they don't fix it it saves them money and also to not buy a Kenmore Elite or LG product. He talked bad about their brand and how him and Anslem had words earlier that day. I should have never know there was beef between the employees. Cheikh lied and said I was not home but he was in my kitchen so I could not leave him a bad review. A few hours later a rescheduled appointment was sent to me but then canceled.

This company is the worst company I have ever dealt with. They should be put out of business just like sears was put out of business. Hopefully I can let consumers know about their business practices and avoid using them. Also Jackie need need to be fired. She is worthless. Making a long story short, they did this three other times (with cancelled appointments in-between); same lack of results. The fourth technician came out Christmas Eve Day, said it can't be repaired, made a call to his supervisor and said they'd refund our $400. Three weeks after waiting for our refund check, my wife called and they told her our refund was denied. DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE!! Bought a new Frigidaire refrigerator in February 2021 from Grand Appliance in Avon Indiana. October of 2021 this 9 month old refrigerator freezer stops working. After letting Frigidaire know their product has failed after 9 months, then not hearing back from them about scheduling a warranty repair service, I have to contact the dealer we purchased from to help facilitate the repair process. He makes contact with the repair company. This by the way is the LAST and ONLY time GRAND APPLIANCE in Avon Indiana has contacted me or answered any further correspondence from me. A&E Factory Service contacts me, through a text. I have never been contacted by A&E though any other format other than text.

A&E sets an appointment on 10/30/2021 between 8-5 for a technician to come out. The tech makes his diagnosis and has to order parts. A compressor being one of them. The parts arrive a week and half later. A&E again sets a service appointment through text for 11/18/21 between 8-5. The tech arrives. I ask about how long this might take. He replies around 3 hours. After 4.5 hours he finally finishes. With the refrigerator pushed back against the wall, he shows us a thermometer he placed in the freezer reading 19 degrees. As he is walking out the door he apologizes for taking longer than initially planned, then says "everything that could go wrong, did".

I have to leave as soon as tech left. Within one hour, my wife sends me video of the refrigerator. It's making noises. Knocking sounds. Popping sounds. 3 hours after that video, the noises are still present. I tell her maybe they will subside this evening. The next day, the noises are still present, but not nearly as loud or as often. The second day after repairs I hear my wife say from the kitchen, "that's great". I ask what's wrong. She says the freezers isn't working. She was right. Neither the freezer nor the refrigerator were working. Not even the slightest hint of cold anywhere to be found. I am of course puzzled by this, confused even. I pull the refrigerator out from the wall. I want to see if I can hear the motor running, a fan, anything. What I see is a mess.

In the process of doing the repairs, the technician on 11/18/21 had set the refrigerator on fire, had used a screwdriver to hack a hole in the back panel to access the copper lines. Then rigged up additional copper tubing that now prohibits the small cardboard access cover from fitting against the refrigerator. There are black burn marks on the rear of the refrigerator. This now makes sense as to why we heard a lot of commotion during the repairs, and the kitchen sink being utilized. There are black burn markings inside the work area. The holes that were chopped into the back of the refrigerator were covered with foil tape. The added, rigged up additional copper tubing sticks out past the rear of the cabinet almost 3 inches.

Contacting A&E about this, they want to send another Tech out to repair the repair. I explain that the previous tech rigged up his repairs with sub standard practices, and set my appliance on fire. We are not accepting this refrigerator. After this song and dance 3 or 4 times, A&E says that if we are not going to accept the repairs they made, we will have to contact the warranty provider for a solution. I'm game. So I contact Frigidaire. Again we go over the same story. Repeatedly. I tell them, implore them not to pay A&E for their botched repair and that A&E owes us a new refrigerator. Frigidaire states that if we don't want to accept this refrigerator as it is and has been repaired, we need to seek an exchange with our dealer. I file complaints with the BBB and our state's Attorney General's office. I tell my story to an attorney friend who says that these businesses tend to become more responsive after receiving a letter from a law firm.

In this time, unbeknownst to me, A&E has scheduled another service run to our home to repair the repairs. A&E contacts me 12/4/21. Yep. You guessed it. By text. Letting me know my service date is 12/7/21 between 8-5. I go online to their website. Do a live chat with an individual. Tell them to cancel the service appointment. We are not going to accept this damaged refrigerator. To please just have a service supervisor contact me to discuss the situation. No one ever contacts me. The repair tech shows up on 12/7/21 around 11:30. To no one home. I again seek some sort of help, resolution from Frigidaire. I get into a live chat session with one of their customer service reps. We go over the entire mess again, several times.

After once again telling them that we are not accepting this damaged, non repaired appliance, the Frigidaire customer service rep tells me that I can seek an exchange with the dealer who sold it. I have this screen shot saved. I get to thinking. Maybe they're unto something. Maybe it is Grand Appliance in Avon Indiana that owes me a new refrigerator. I mean it's a worth a shot. I email the manager at Grand Appliance in Avon Indiana. Go over the whole story again. Explain how the people that damaged the refrigerator (A&E) tell me to get a resolution from the warranty provider (Frigidaire) also the same people that made the thing.

The manufacture, again (Frigidaire) tells me that if A&E can't fix it, I should seek an exchange from the dealer (Grand Appliance, Avon Indiana). I ask the manager to at least let me know something. If he just simply wants me to go away, say that. But let me know something. Have not heard back from him. We intend to sue for damages. All 3 of the parties above will be listed as defendants. My attorney is confident we will prevail. So much so he has taken this on a contingency.

It was put on back order according to A&E.

They scheduled another tech to come out on 12-8-21. He came out to replace the part. Which did not fix the issue. He in turn orders both parts that have been replaced already on the refrigerator. He only made the issue worse with the refrigerator to where nothing is working. We didn't know what he had done. He advises us we may want to rent a refrigerator till they get back to fix it. In the meantime we contact Frigidaire furious over this whole ordeal. They send send us another repairman from Frigidaire on 12-14-21 . Come to find out A&E had the part wired up wrong!!! Half way through my wait, 12:30, I'm notified they will be coming after 5; then between 6:30 and 8:30 p.m. I was not going to be available. I called the service line because you CANNOT speak with a technician. You only get automated emails. Why couldn't the technician call me so I could make proper arrangements? I responded via text, phone call to the company and chat that I would not be available at the new times.

Later that day, after 5:00, the technician leaves a note on my door and photos it that he's been there. Are you kidding? I contacted the company three ways to say I wasn't available. I was made to go through the whole automated process again to schedule a separate appointment. My appt was again scheduled between 10 and 2. At 9:30 a.m., I was left a message from the technician asking if I was going to be available. Seriously? I have a scheduled time between 10 and 2 and was sent a text the day prior to push 9 if I wished to cancel. I called and left a message I would be available.

At 1:55, I called the technician's number; he is in Richlands - hours from me. Another 4 hours of waiting. I described the ice maker issue. He tells me it's going to be over $400 to repair. It was so obvious he was late and was not interested in fixing my part and was NOT going to arrive within the scheduled time again. At this point I cancelled. I would NEVER recommend this company. You have little to no means to communicate with a person. If you like dealing with automation, waiting around, not knowing who to talk to, you are interested right place. So glad I haven't chosen them for big the big projects I need to do. If they can't be trusted with the little things, there is no way I would trust them with my window repairs and AC jobs! I use a home warranty company. I placed a work request for my washer in the beginning August, but there was a hiccup with the company they originally sent, so they reassigned it to A & E. The soonest A &E could get out was early September. The tech came out, diagnosed it, parts were ordered, and another appointment was set up to install the parts. The parts get mailed to the customer. I received the parts. On the second appointment a different tech came out, installed most of the parts that were ordered, but said that one of the parts was the wrong part. He said he needed to order the parts and reschedule to install. A new appointment was set up.

The day of the third appointment came. No parts had arrived and no tech showed up, I called the company and they told me that the assigned tech called in sick, and they needed to reschedule the appointment. At this point I informed them that I had not received the parts. It turned out that the tech that said additional parts were needed never ordered the parts. A new appointment was scheduled to have a tech come out and find out what parts were needed.

The day of the fourth appointment came and there was only an hour left in the time window they gave me so I called. They said it needed to be rescheduled and refused to give me a reason. A new appointment was made. The day of the fifth appointment came, the tech showed up, got a list of parts that were needed, placed the order in front of me, and set up a new appointment for yesterday. The parts arrived. Yesterday arrived and I called to verify that a tech would be here. They said the appointment was for today, not yesterday. They verified that a tech would be here today.

Today, no tech arrived, I called the company and they told me their system said that one of the parts that were ordered had not arrived so no tech was sent. I had all the part in hand and they still would not send anyone out to keep the appointment. The soonest they said they could get someone out was the 18th of November. My home warranty company informed me that once parts have been ordered it is almost impossible to change contractors.

I made an appointment for a technician to evaluate the problem with my Electrolux dishwasher. I had to wait two weeks for him to come out. I got updates the day before and day of the appointment. At 5pm the day of the appointment, he said my appointment was cancelled and he hung up the phone on me. I took a vacation day and waited at the house all day for him to arrive. I did not cancel the appointment, the technician did and gave no reason for doing so. I called their customer service and got nothing but the opportunity to reschedule another appointment another two weeks away. Terrible customer service. They cost me a vacation day for no reason. If there was a minus star, they would get it. The worst experience with a company ever. They should not be in business.

How do they stay in business? Oh wait they are part of the defunct Sears network... The techs are great when they get the call. Apparently they don't even get it until the time frame of the appointment. Scheduled one appt today but the part won't be here until tomorrow. It's past the 8-12 time slot but no one has contacted us and calling their number gets you a bogus unhelpful message!

This repair was set up by my home warranty company and I had to wait 2 weeks for a tech to come out, However, the tech was prompt, polite, knowledgeable and fixed my issue in about 30 minutes! He called first to make sure his arrival time worked for me, he chose to come to me first since his other appointment was far away and he feared he wouldn’t make it to me that day. He knew I had waited 2 weeks and was respectful of my time. My washer works great now thanks to Jeremy! I was surprised and impressed. After reading scathing reviews I was nervous!

I had repairs done to my Kenmore washer and dryer by a Sears repairman. Kurt was very friendly and helpful! He has been to my house a few times over the years and always very kind. I live with 5 kids so having adult conversation is nice. Lol. He treated me as a friend and was still able to work. He did a great job and fixed the problems and before he left made sure to check his work that it was done correctly. Thank you Kurt! See you soon (only because he ordered a part I need and will be back to finish)

I purchased a GE Dishwasher in November and it broke in September. Still under warranty so had a service guy come to the house from A and E who stated needed parts. They were scheduled for October 14th, however, they never showed up despite having to remain home all day. I called them and they stated he was running behind and would not be coming. This was at 6 pm, I received absolutely no call. They rescheduled for October 19th and stated I was a priority. I spent all day at the house waiting with nothing. I called them again at 520 and was informed the tech had called in sick that day. I never received a call.

I ended up calling GE to get a different service provider as the customer service agent from A and E hang up on me. I received an email today stating they would be coming next Thursday, however, a tech showed up today without an appointment, complained about having dogs, replaced parts then left without saying a word. The dishwasher is still broken.

Like everyone else on this review site for A&E, they called me at the time of the appointment to cancel. They claimed their technician called in sick. Fine. The new appointment was over 3 weeks away. You can tell that the dispatcher is used to people being very upset due to their refrigerators being completely dead, as mine is. She is numb to your pain.

The thing is, I just got my appointment last night. How could they have an appointment available for the first thing the next morning, but nothing else for 3 more weeks? They couldn't. They are scamming the system to get a bunch of phony appointments on the books and waste the time of people trying to get warranty work done. Don't trust these ghouls. On top of everything else, from these reviews it's clear that their work is bound to be substandard and result in further repairs being needed in the near future.

My refrigerator broke and we called Choice Home Warranty company and they sent a technician out to access to problem. After finding out the compressor needed to be replaced and that the compressor was still under warranty with Sears they went back and forth with A&E about fixing the problem and approving the fix. Finally after it had been approved They set up a time for repair for which they called and rescheduled the appointment for over a week later. The appointment time comes after a week and then we get a call that they came out and nobody answered the door to which we were home all day and have two cameras outside and relay that information about the camera and said they went to the wrong address so they rescheduled again and got a call on the morning of the appointment time and said our repair window would be between 1&5pm.

At 4:20pm they called to reschedule again because the tech had called in sick. It has been 9 weeks since my refrigerator has gone out and still have yet to fix it after rescheduling another repair time for a week later. I have called A&E several times and they said they can do nothing to dispatch a repair tech to get it fixed that we have to wait until the next available date. I put a complaint to the BBB and hopefully someone can do something with this company. If there was negative 100 stars even then they would not even deserve that rating.

My fridge is dead. Didn't show at appointment time (between 12 and 5pm). Tech called after appointment slot asking if he still had to come at 7pm. I said, "No. Come tomorrow." Tomorrow comes and I am now scheduled for next week!! Called for help. Was told nothing they can do. When I asked why, they hung up on me. TERRIBLE SERVICE.
