Paid them over $600 to fix my refrigerator, after waiting 6 weeks for the technician he put in a couple of parts which did not fix the problem. Still not working. Very sad service. Customer service representative was very nice on the phone, but that's all I can say positive about this company.

My home warranty assigned this company to us because our large range side of our stove blew!! We really needed it… we’re a homeschool family with 9 kids. Number 10 on the way and we were making it work using the small side of the Stove and oven…We contacted the company in March.. the guy came, told us the issue.. and rescheduled us the following Friday.. the next day or so… I received with. Text notifications or an automated voicemail saying my schedule appointment was canceled. Then I received a VM saying a part was ordered, there’s nothing worse to be done. Once the part arrive tech will reach out. Jump to April… no updates on part. I called the tech nothing.
I spent 2 hours on the phone with a rep looking for this company so we can speak to someone. She ended up submitting a request for a new stove… and she informed us that it’s a long shot because they are usually denied. Thank God we have favor.. we were approved. This company had nothing to do with the repair or replacement. This morning the tech showed up at my home.. I told him our stove was replaced… he was unaware. And I was unaware there was an appointment. Not that it mattered.

I have a home warranty with Choice Home Warranty. My AC went out on 4/27/2024. The repair was assigned to A&E Sears Home Service. The earliest at technician could come out was 5/6/2024. When he arrived he was here less than 40 minutes and diagnosed my problem as a loose valve cap connecting the refridgerant set to the compressor and I am about 1 lb low on Freon without doing any pressure check for any other leaks or exactly how low the refrigeration level is. Because it was diagnosed as a valve cap issue Choice Home Warranty will not cover the repair or to have the refrigerant replaced. I had an independent AC check the system earlier and he said the refrigerant level was too low to check for leaks and the system need to be pressurized to check for any real leaks. He did not charge me a service call and would not recommend putting Freon into the AC unless the system had been properly diagnosed. I have him coming back later today to do a REAL diagnostic check of my AC system. I will never allow a A&E Sears technician need any thing in my house again that needs repair. I also plan to cancel my home warranty with Choice Home Warranty when all of this is settled.

We needed our JennAir oven repaired as it was not heating properly. Our Homeowner’s Insurance sent A&E (Sears) to diagnose. On April 10, the serviceman put in an order for a new control board and said he would be back on April 22. No one showed up on the 22nd. So, my husband called and emailed, but we never heard back. On April 24, he got a text saying we missed our appointment. As he was reading that text, he got a text saying they were coming out that day. More phone calls and emails. We finally were rescheduled for today (May 2nd) and the serviceman showed up to put the control board in. He got the part in and said he was going to lunch as I thanked him for coming.
He didn’t test it before he left, so my son decided to test it by making a pizza. Well, only a few of the sensors were working AND we couldn’t cancel it. We had to flip the breaker to turn it off. My husband called the tech immediately and was told that he wasn’t the guy who diagnosed it and he wasn’t going to come back! This was literally less than 15 minutes after he left! Now we can’t use the oven at all unless we want to flip the breaker every time. My husband called the Homeowner’s Insurance Co back to schedule someone else and recommended that they not send AE (Sears) to anyone.

I purchased an extended warranty for my dishwasher, unfortunately Assurant Insurance uses A&E service, Simply put 9 days taken off work and still my dishwasher does not work. What annoys me the most is not the failed attempts to fix but the 3 NO show appointments. All three no shows came with a phone call that last between 25 minutes to over an hour. End result I just bought a new dishwasher. Shame on Assurant Insurance as they were no help but took my money for this warranty. Shame on A&E for the three no shows and all the Lies for the no shows.

Apparently A&E took over Sears Warranty repair. The repairpersons seem competent but the business as a whole is awful. Took 6 months to repair our refrigerator and it’s not totally repaired. We should have gotten a replacement since they could no longer get one part, but didn’t and the “manager” never contacted us. Getting a hold of an actual person to speak to is almost impossible and their answering service leads to frustrating, circular responses with no option to speak to a person. Cancelled the warranty.

Reset another appointment through Choice on Monday for today Wednesday and again no show, no call, no text. They aren’t even able to take calls. What can I do?

We scheduled a repair/replacement for our compressor. The fridge had a 10 year warranty on the compressor and it was exchanged and life went on. About a year and a few months later the compressor dies so we call and schedule a return appointment. The appointment was almost a month out so we waited. The technician shows up and tells us the compressor only has a 1 year warranty!!! These guys installed a FAR inferior product in my fridge! Essentially this company is a rip off!!! Don't do business with them! Buy new or fix it yourself.

My washer had a leak that was causing damage to the condo below my condo, called my insurance company, who allocate my claim to Sear Home Services, aka A&E Appliance Repair. They allocated a technician for 1 week after they were contacted by my insurance. The technician shows up and says he needs to order some parts, so he did and said he will be back the following Wednesday (8 days latter). Parts arrive 6 days after they were ordered (following week) but the technician does not show on Wednesday as he said them I received a text with a new appointment (3 days latter) again the technician didn't show up, with out a phone call or email.
They give you a window between 8-5 so now is already 2 days I have to take off from work to make sure be home for the technician but technician never shows. Therefore I have to called their customer service line. They were unhelpful, rude, unprofessional (just to be polite) and they reschedule my appointment but once again I have to wait another 3-4 days because according to them is not a technician available in the area. Therefore once again they have give me an arrival window from 8am to 5pm so another day that I must to take off from work because I work 1 hour away from my home.

My refrigerator not working properly, called the manufacturer GE who told me to contact Sear Home Services aka A&E Appliance Repair. Well after scheduling on an automated phone service for 9 days later the technician shows up says I need parts which are covered by the warranty of the manufacturer. Parts arrive the following week but the technician does not. Reschedule again by that automated phone service for the next appointment and again the technician is a no show. They give you a window between 8-5 then they show you where the technician is en route that you're the 3rd stop, then the 2nd, now the next but technician never shows. Then you get an email saying, "Sorry we missed you, please call this number to reschedule."
It’s a sham everyone. Don’t use this company, period or you’ll be sorry that you did like myself, but I was referred to A&E by the manufacturer. So maybe we should go after the manufacturer! Now I have filed in court a small claims. County attorney should have a field day with this company. Eddy Lambert is the owner of Sears/Kmart/Transform Service LLC.

Our warranty program scheduled with them to repair our washer. It has been two months of ordering parts and then not fixing it and breaking things along the way. Every time they come we have to first get them to know that the parts are here...which takes so much time on the phone, then we have to be home with an 8 to 5 window!!!! I think they are in the parts business and making money off ordering parts.

The repairman that came out ordered the parts. I have the parts and have notified A&E warranty several times. I had an appt. On 3/6/24 no show. I had another appt on 3/8/24 no show. Another appt on 3/22/24 again, no show. They rescheduled for 4/5/24 between 8am and 12. I have confirmed with them that I have the parts and they continue to state that the parts are not in. I HAVE the parts. Think about it before you do business with Sears or this warranty company.

I don't even know where to begin. Contacted A&E about our dishwasher heating element not working. Tech came out and told us it was our computer motherboard. Told us repair would be $471. At this point, I should've just said thanks but we'll just buy a new one but no. I said fix it. DO NOT LET THEM FIX ANYTHING. IT WILL NEVER GET FIXED CORRECTLY. Motherboard was ordered. Cost was $175. Labor to install said motherboard...$299! Yes, you see that correctly. Again, not sure what I was thinking!
Motherboard arrives. Tech comes to replace it. Dishwasher heating element still not working. Called them back. Sent out a different tech than the last two. He couldn't find anything wrong. Reset system and left. Heating element still not working. Called back again to have tech come out. My phone number was flagged by their system to sent me to their voicemail system where I am not able to speak to anyone live. I had to use my husband phone in order to hack their flag of me. Spoke with someone who sent an a new tech. At this point we've seen 4 techs, all different people.
This tech takes out whole dishwasher apart. Door is off, parts all over my kitchen. He then says, it is our heating element. REALLY? OMG! Put my dishwasher back to together while also breaking the cover to the control panel. All the clips are broken off so it won't lock into place (didn't realize until he was long gone and he never mentioned it to me). Heating element now on order. Less than 24 hours later, go to start my dishwasher and the control panel won't light up to work. I don't know what to say or do at this point. I want to just throw my hands up and get a new dishwasher. These people are incompetent at best. DO NOT USE THEM EVER!!! If you do, you'll regret it.

This company has been a nightmare to deal with. If you have a service contract but can choose literally ANYONE else, do it. Parts were ordered for my washing machine and took longer than expected to arrive. I understand that happens. Appointment was schedule for repair once parts arrived. Tech called in the morning and said he was canceling the appointment because he didn’t get notification that parts were delivered. I told him we had all the parts, please do it cancel, it had already been 3 weeks. He said he couldn’t come without delivery confirmation. He canceled the appointment and it auto rescheduled me for a week later.
I called the “customer service” number which is a call center in India and they were less than helpful. They couldn’t reschedule me for sooner, instead texted me a link to try to reschedule myself. Later that night, I was able to reschedule the next day. My husband took a second day off of work and waited ALL DAY only to be called at 4:15 pm and we were told “I’m done for the day, I will not be coming”, by the tech. WHAT!??? So I told him please do not cancel the appointment, I have one scheduled for the next day. He was nasty and canceled it anyway and this set us back ANOTHER WEEK. Zero accountability, zero help, zero professionalism. And two days off of work waiting, absolutely unacceptable. They shouldn’t be in business!

James came out and completely solved the issues with my fridge and was a delight to have here. He is extremely polite, knowledgeable, communicative, and considerate going so far to utilize a mat to slide the fridge on to avoid damaging my flooring. It did take two visits, but a set of large parts needed to be ordered and, while unfortunate that it caused a delay, its understandable... They can't stock every part for every appliance on their trucks. James was my technician for both visits and I cannot express how much gratitude I have for his customer obsession and the ownership he took in getting my issue resolved.
I do want to be clear here though that while I have had an AMAZINGLY POSITIVE experience with A&E Factory Service, I have NOT had a good experience with Sears Home Warranty Service and would not recommend that service. From what I understand, A&E Factory Service is a contractor/vendor that works with multiple home warranty services, as well as directly with their own customers. My experience with Sears was a nightmare, and A&E Factory Service was not the first contractor/vendor they sent out. After the first failed to resolve my issue nor come back out, and some fighting with Sears they finally sent A&E Factory Service who were absolutely outstanding to work with. I would HIGHLY recommend A&E Factory Service despite the issues I encountered with Sears. And a very big thank you, specifically, to James.

Worst service ever! 2021 Bought Lowe's Protection Plan (Assurant) for LG Washer. LG Washer (computer board) broke after Thanksgiving. Assurant sent Sears A&E, the worst company ever dealt with. It is December 29, we have been going back and forth with Sears A&E for over a month. Tech came out Dec. 8 and was supposed to order a part, (he actually broke my panel when he couldn't figure how to take it off), top makes clicking sound now. Called A&E 800 customer service wondering when part was coming, not in US, nightmare communicating back and forth. They kept generating appointments. Never ordered part until Dec. 18, then would cancel and reschedule went on for a month.
Finally, part came Dec.28 and was set for Tech to come Dec 29. Tech just called me and informed me I would have to pay $165, I informed him I had a protection plan, long story short he canceled appt. No words! Worst company ever to deal with. I suggest using someone else if you want done correctly and in a normal time frame.

Scheduled..he came out and ordered a part..we had to wait for the part to be delivered (and make sure no porch pirates stole it) then once again scheduled another appt. Another guy came out..the part was not right..so had to order a new one and wait again to be sent to us! Try to call A&E and cannot reach a real person at all. I absolutely do not trust computers to get the info to them and what if I did not have a computer? This is just not acceptable customer service. I have better things to do with my time! I had to call and get a new appointment a week or so out. This appointment resulted in no visit at all. Called and got another appointment. The third appointment was a no show also. Stay away at all costs. Almost impossible to get ahold of a person to talk to. Their phone tree gives blank ends where it gives other numbers or websites to go to, that are non-existent. Once you finally get a technician scheduled, you have to wait 8-5, all day, with no idea when they might be coming out. Once they finally do, they change a little something and say that was the problem.. And it's not. Then you have to go through the whole process again to try to get someone to come out. I've never experienced service so awful. I would have NEVER purchased this protection plan had I had any idea... Lesson learned, will look at reviews before doing this again.

When the technician got to our home for the repair last Saturday he lectured my wife on how the top washer is only for delicates, even though the user manual clearly states small loads of shower towels under 3.3 pounds can be done. Then today he calls me to provide me an update about how the machine is going to be replaced, but how it could have easily gone another way by him just telling the company there was signs of overloading - again referring to the two towels he saw in the upper washer, but he didn’t because he is a professional. Not only was he completely wrong about the intended use of that part of our machine, but then acts like he’s doing me a favor. Avoid this company at all costs if you can.

They call me using an AI recording to tell me to contact them to reschedule the appointment, but there is no way to do it over the phone or on the web site, I only get an option to cancel it completely. Terribly poor business practices. You cannot speak to a live person and if you go through their website and leave a message, no one calls you back. The technician (Shane- in Georgia) does not do any follow ups on the part order. The part went missing on October 4th at 8:55 am and NO ONE will reorder the part. Two weeks after the initial order, still no part! Ridiculous, and all you get is the run around. All the while, my laundry is piling up. They keep rescheduling or pushing the appointment dates out, but that does me no good when the part is not been REORDERED!
I, along with my Mother, have spent over 20 hours of our time through, A&E Factory Services, American Home Shield, Sears, and UPS and no one seems to know anything. They keep saying a part has been ordered and give me the old tracking number. When I inform them that this is to the missing part, they just say "that is all we have". I am at a loss on what to do, as I cannot order the part and I can't get anyone else to order it. Parts SHOULD NEVER be sent directly to the customer/homeowner, as it is not in any of my control to fix! HORRIBLE non-existent customer service!

On Sept. 19, 2023 I called for a repair and it was scheduled for Sept. 20, 2023. During this call with Conns for the appliance warranty the Rep that took the order she said that someone would be getting back to me with a 3-hour window for repair service. I did receive a email and text saying that the window was 8am to 5pm. I called Conns again and they tried calling A&E and they had no way of talking to anyone. They came inspected the microwave. All I was told by the tech he just ordered the part and they scheduled me for Sept. 27, 2023. In fact, the part was not ordered until the 21st is when I got confirmation, they just ordered the part. Had to rescheduled because part was not in and if they had ordered it when I was told on the 20th, I would have had the part and I wouldn’t had to wait. Rescheduled it for Friday Sept. 29, 2023. He came and here are the events for that visit.
1. He prepared to remove the microwave from the wall. 2. He removed the microwave. 3. The kitchens filled with white smoke coming into the living room where I was at. 4. I came into the kitchen and it was filled with smoke. 5. The tech was standing there holding the big foam pad on the floor looking at it and tells me when I asked what happened. As he was explaining I opened the kitchen window and told him to remove the pad to the patio. The patio door was right there. 6. The explanation was that he put the pad on the stove and somehow, he turned on the stove. 7. We opened all doors and windows put a air purifier in the kitchen and the fan going. 8. He put the part in the microwave and had to come back because the stove was hot. 9. He was scrapping the stove of the film and rubber on the stove. Damage to the floor. 10. I said that the stove is ruined. He says, "No, just use vinegar and baking soda."
11. He left and came back about 3:30 or so. My son helped him put the microwave back on the wall. 12. The microwave didn’t work. He said he had to order another part and we had to wait another week for it. 13. Rescheduled repair for Friday Oct. 6, 2023 between 8am to 5pm. 14. I ended up going to the ER for smoke inhalation.
Called on Sept. 30, to Conns and left a complaint and they said that they would escalate it and someone would get back to me. I received a call from Carlie R and she had me send the photos and I explained to her what had happened. She said that she was escalating it and that I should hear from someone shortly. I again sent her a email that I received saying that they ordered 1 part and the others are pending order. I told her that was unacceptable. I called Conns numbers times and keep getting 24 hours it’s been escalated. 24 hours never came. I have contacted Sears Home Services who is dba A&E Factory Services via online chat, email with the only thing said it would be escalated. Their numbers and A&E go to the same recording with no options to speak to someone live.
I have talked to Federal Warranty who is Assurant the first time they had all the info and the next day they couldn’t find anything on me. I have a transcript of the conversation. They told me that they have nothing to do with my claims but they are on Conns brochures for the purchases of the warranties. On Oct 6, I called Conns Plus at 3:50pm (855-266-6349) to verify that my appointment was going to be met. The call lasted 33 minutes and she did some verifying and came back and replied that they were running late that they would be at my residence by 6pm. Then I get a text message at 5:11pm stating that my appointment has been rescheduled to 10/9 no time indicated. I called Conns and was told again that there was nothing they can do they can not get ahold of anyone.
I have filed a complaint online through A&E Factory and received confirmation they received the complaint and Sears Home Services Via chat they said they had escalated the problem. Talking live goes to a recording for scheduling or rescheduling only. I searched them through Sec of State and the city of Las Vegas no license. I searched their website and found their license info does not show Nevada but yet their websites show address that go to other businesses or malls. All their phone numbers listed goes to the same recording for scheduling and rescheduling. From Sept. 20 to present my microwave isn’t fixed, I have a ruined stove, damaged floor and a medical bill for $10000 plus. No one has reached out to me after emails, online request, phone calls, photos.

A&E has wasted my time and caused extreme stress for me, and the appointment date hasn’t even gotten here yet. I have made multiple calls. It is near impossible to reach a human being. The system often hangs up on you. You have to run through the phone menu over and over, trying different options until it finally dials through to a human. Each time you call, you learn that the last rep did not do what they promised. When you ask for a phone number that will get through to a human, each new number they give you is more difficult than the last.
The most recent number, every option immediately hangs up on you. They lie. They create their phone system so you can’t reach someone. They send you an email threatening to charge you if you don’t cancel or reschedule your appointment. The pain and suffering they have already caused me is astronomical, and they have the nerve to send a threatening email like this. This company is deeply disturbing.

When I gave this company the opportunity to make it right by giving me at least an explanation as to why my appliance still has not been fixed I received an email telling me when my next appointment is. Which I scheduled. No accountability at all. I wish I hadn’t spent money on this warranty!

I use Assurant for my contract. In the past their service providers were OK but now they use A&E Factory Service who have not shown up for their last two service calls, they do not call and are impossible to contact. I have been trying to get my refrigerator repaired for last last two months. The first time a repair person showed up he stuck a screwdriver somewhere in the back of the refrigerator where it hit some moving part which made a noise and said everything is working. He said call if the problem comes back which it did.
The next repair man ordered parts, came back to put them in and the problem was not fixed. Now for the last two weeks we had two appointments and two no shows. I called Assurant and they say I have to call A&E who does not answer calls with someone you can speak to in order to find out what is going on. It seems Assurant will only assign A&E, so as their customer you are stuck. Now after many years with Assurant I have to drop them and find another service organization. Think twice before dealing with Assurant and/or A&E Factory Service.

The number they leave in their message message does not give you the option to confirm that the part arrived. So the next day the technician didn’t come out.
Why I need to confirm that the part arrived to begin with is ridiculous because they are the one that orders it and they have the tracking info. Then after staying on the phone for hours trying to talk to someone to get my appointment rescheduled he tells me that their website is down that I’ll have to call back. So I came home & I installed the part of myself I ain’t messing with this company. I will be finding out if it’s Lowe’s that contracts this company or Samsung. The service person stated that he didn't have the part and would have to order the same at a cost of $540.00 which I thought was out of the question. He then informed me for $300.00 he could install the needed gasket, but I would have to pay cash upfront which I stupidly did.
Now after two weeks of waiting I have given up. It seems that the service repair person works for Turner's Family Heating and Cooling Service, which to my dismay, has a terrible work record. It would drip onto the fan and freeze it and a horrible noise that sounded like an airplane landing in the yard would emit from the unit. We had a repairman out who couldn’t find anything wrong. We had taken everything out of freezer and relocated it to an outside freezer and turned this freezer section off. While waiting for the repairman to get here. He told us if it happened again to let it keep running and if it ruins the appliance we would be able to get a new one. We didn’t want to do that so every time it happened, which was every few days, we went through the motions of removing everything and relocating. This was very inconvenient and annoying. Trying to get a hold of anyone to set up a repair visit is almost impossible.

3. When the technician got here, he never looked at the machine, never inspected it and in fact the power to the machine was never connected. Based on the error code I told him I saw he sat at my kitchen table for ½ hour and looked up part numbers and talked about his son’s college experience and subsequent job hunt. Then he told me to repair electronics would cost roughly between $480 to $500 and the service call was $129.00.
I am very unhappy with this service. If they had called ahead like promised and I knew what it would cost just to have him come out to my house, I would never have had him come out. He could have done over the phone exactly what he did sitting here in my house. This was a complete rip off and I rate this service ZERO.

A few months ago our trash compactor stopped working, it was and is still under warranty. A&E came out about a week after it was reported. The Tech couldn't move it from under the counter, after he left my husband got it out by moving a part of the appliance that had slipped. He came back about two weeks later for us to be told that the manufacturer wouldn't pay for the needed part but he would put the work order through. Didn't hear back so after three weeks we called them and was told the job was not approved. Another call to the Manufacturer to be told the job was marked "completed' and they no part needed was requested nor denied.
We were assured that our compactor would be fixed and scheduled another visit from A&E who called the day of to say that there was no point in him coming out since he didn't order the needed part. 4th call to the manufacturer, again they assured us the work would be done. Scheduled visit and confirmed appointment again, even on the day of service 16th Jan 23. No call, no show by Jeffery the Tech with A&E after waiting in all day. All four time the manufacturer was charged $130.00 for doing absolutely nothing. 5th call to manufacturer to be told a new appliance would be delivered on Jan 18th. A&E are an abysmal company in my area and are nothing more than shysters and should be investigated.

They give you a 9 hour time frame for which the service will be performed! That’s ridiculous! Then if one person calls out sick they don’t have backs up to take over their service calls you get rescheduled for another 9 hour window a week later most of the time. It’s took them over a month to come and look at my washer which was under warranty. Their customer service has gone completely downhill. I won’t be using them again.

What the! Not my appointment date. I called A&E and they had me for 2 days, I have knowledge of only one, which is today. I confirmed today's appointment and have been up since the crack of dawn so as not to miss the technician, stayed home all day. No show, no call!
I received an automated text from A&E's computer at 4:37 pm today stating that I now have a new appointment for 01/11/23, I don't think so! I am not available on that day. Since it's the holiday weekend I have to wait until next week to call Frigidaire to reschedule and request a different service provider. Every review that I have read is bad. This is an ABSOLUTE NIGHTMARE!! They deserve negative stars. I have been through the wringer with your outsourced contractor for scheduling. You ARE NOT providing the service I paid for, at all. I have called this 800# over 5 times in less than 24 hours and have been different things each time regarding my appointment that was scheduled FOR TODAY!!!
The phone tree options change on top of being almost impossible to get a person on the phone. Between Lowe's and A&E Factory Service, you have failed, epically. You don't provide the service promised and scheduled, therefore you have taken my money deceptively. The tech had to reschedule us last week due to our washer and dryer being stacked (would have been nice to have had that addressed in the original scheduling call) and told us they'd be back on the 22nd. I didn't realize the part the tech ordered a week ago was going to be coming to my house. SO when I get an automated call from the scheduling company to confirm delivery of said part to hold my appointment, I am concerned and confused.
I call them to find out, yes, that part is shipping to me and I need to call by 5pm to confirm its arrival to keep my appointment for the 22nd. The rep can't tell me if that's 5pm PST or EST, it makes a difference. 30 minutes later the part arrives, and I call to say it's here, don't cancel my appointment for tomorrow. The phone tree has changed, and I can't get a live person through the option of selecting "existing appointment", nor does it have the option to confirm my part has arrived! I use the schedule an appointment option to get a representative to confirm my appointment, who tells me I have no appointment and I have to wait until Dec 2nd. I had a few choice words and hung up. Called back to ask for a supervisor and the gal I talked to confirmed my part and told me my appointment for the 22nd was good.
Today I get no calls from the tech confirming they will be here today. I call the 800# again and automated system tells me my appointment is scheduled for the 2nd. I call the schedulers again to find out what the hell is going on with a supervisor. He kept telling us. "I see your appointment was originally set for yesterday the 21st" and we had to keep correcting him that it is for today. He had no answers as to why we were confirmed for today and told us we had to call our warranty company! Are you freaking kidding me?! We had to argue with him for almost 30 mins for him to say he'd put us on a cancelation list for Thursday (on Thanksgiving y'all!!), WTAF. At this point we wait and see if they can get do us a favor and get someone tomorrow or Friday.

They blocked out an entire day (8am - 5pm) to schedule to have me wait for a technician to come out to do the repair.
The tech came out, stayed 10 minutes checking my washer and said that he didn't find anything to keep the washer running. It leaked again from a small door on the front of my washer before he drove from my neighborhood. I called him and he said that it sounds like my pump must have gone out but that he didn't have one to replace it; I'd sent a detailed description of the problem, pics and model number before he came out. I was rescheduled for 2 weeks. That was today. I received 3 text reminders for the appointment today and the technician was a NO SHOW. First off our lawn mower broke down on June 4th, the guy came out one time, never listened to anything I had to say about what the lawn mower is doing, didn't get on it and ride it, even though I asked him to please listen to it while I drove it and then drive it for himself. Parts were ordered. They showed up on September 7th finally. This is the third time that we've had to have this lawn mower repaired in the 2 years that we have owned it. We have only put 97 hours on it and we own an acre and a half. It takes an hour and 45 minutes to mow it every time.
The first two times the technician did not want to listen or try to consider my concerns on the lawn mower. He also did the same thing this last time. We called and under the warranty that we purchased, and mind you we have over $4,000 in this lawn mower including the warranty, ask for a replacement or a check. Three different times now the repairman was supposed to come out and determine whether or not the lawn mower was fixable and all three times they were no call, no show because of this I missed 3 days of work and didn't get paid. I also had to pay a lawn maintenance company $400 to mow my lawn.
It is unbelievable how this company is even in business. I will never go to Sears and buy anything else ever again. They don't want to hold up their end of the warranty and I want everyone that reads this to know and understand they have had ample time and opportunity. I am writing this review as of September the 10th 2022. I am waiting for phone calls that they neglect to make and the repairman to show up and the only thing I'm getting from this company is my hard-earned money down the drain.
I even went into the Sears store where I purchased the lawn mower and was basically told I'll make some phone calls but there's nothing I can really do so meanwhile I'm sitting here with a lawn mower that sounds like it's about to blow up the deck and the blades rattle like crazy low gear in the lawn mower is hit and miss. I've already had it repaired twice and now they refuse to show up this third time so we can get the replacement approved. I chose this lawn mower based on the Kohler 7000 series 26 horsepower engine and the clear cut fabricated deck, I cannot believe that I spent over $4,000 between the lawn mower the warranty and oh by the way the Sears credit card that they got the interest on so they don't mind taking my money but they don't want to make any of this right all I keep getting when I call in is "oh please give us another chance".

A&E technician arrived, took pictures of dishwasher label and ordered the timer for the dishwasher. He proceeded to say their next available service date was one week out. We scheduled it. He said that the part would be shipped to our house and be here when he came back one week away. Fast Forward a bit. The part arrived. Came from GE APPLIANCES. But the box looked big. So I opened the box to check. The Part Number on the Label of the box, did not match the part number on the packing invoice. The part they shipped... was a large plastic bin for a Refrigerator. Not a timer.
I texted the Service Tech and he replied that he needed to talk to his supervisor to get the correct part reordered. This was on a Friday. Didn't hear anything back until today, the original service date. A&E called and said that there wasn't a technician available in the area and that we needed to reschedule service. I explained the whole situation. He looked up our service call and said that correct part had never been reordered. So he contacted the ordering department to reorder the correct part and they are supposed to call me. I said... "OK.... so do we go ahead and schedule a new service date for them to come out?" He said "NO.... we have to wait until I get the part in, to call and reschedule to appointment." Grrrr!!!! All while.... we have no use of our dishwasher!!!!
Here were the Failures:1. GE APPLIANCEPARTS shipped the wrong product. (Not A&E's fault.)
2. A&E Service Tech failed to reorder correct part, knowing that it needed to be done.
3. A&E Scheduler failed to schedule new appointment, even with new part coming. (Delay.)

While I was still on that call a text message from them flashed at the top of my phone stating that my appointment was canceled. So I called the company and the young lady I spoke to advised me that because I had canceled the appointment there was nothing she could and she refused to believe that I had not canceled the appointment.
Thanks to technology of today I was not tied to my home because I knew that I could get updates however the problem is that I scheduled the appointment two weeks prior for a non-functioning range which was emitting the smell of gas. Therefore the range was disconnected and I was unable to use it. And after I spoke to her on the phone or actually while I was speaking to her another text message flashed across my phone saying that my appointment has been changed to another date two weeks out. Tech showed up at 4pm and by 4:15 told me that I needed some parts and they would get them ordered and have them shipped to my house. He would be able to come back on a date two weeks later. The parts were covered by the warranty. The Tech showed up for the repair and was done in an hour and half so I was billed $588 in labor for an hour and half of work. This left me feeling robbed.
After he was done he said that he emailed me the link to make the payment and would not be able to leave until payment had been made. I went on to the payment site and was not given any detail of the service till after payment had been made. Talk about leaving a customer without any option or understanding of what they are paying for. to top it all off, the tech left all the garbage from the packaging in my kitchen and didn't clean up. Also not one time did he take his shoes off to come into my home and walked across my white carpet. I had to mop up the floor after he left to clean up some oily mess that was left. And he sat in my driveway for a half an hour after I made the payment.
Please note that after he sent the link he turned around and walked outside and sat in his van. I walked out. Told him I had paid and said great and rolled up the window. If I could I would give this company 0 stars. I should add that I had my LG fridge worked on and had to go through LG to get the service scheduled so I was forced to use the provider the LG chose. They use the internet or some kind of app or program to learn to diagnose and repair things.
So he decided that it needed three parts and said they'd be shipped to the house and he'd be back to do the work. Parts came around two weeks later, but when the time came for the "technician" to show up, we got a call saying they needed to cancel and we'd have to reschedule. No biggie, stuff happens. The next scheduled time, another cancelation. And another and another. I called to reschedule and complain and the woman said she GUARANTEED someone would show this time, as we'd been canceled three times in a row. Time came and got canceled AGAIN.
I would absolutely not recommend this service. If you have the option to get an extended warranty on a new appliance, make certain it's not through A&E Factory Service. They are incapable, unreliable and untrustworthy. At this point, I'll probably do the repair myself and try to get my money refunded for the extended warranty I paid for. Absolute garbage business. They take your money and do not provide any kind of service.

This is my second experience with this company and their slipshod services. It pretty much echoes the first, just different appliance. One to two weeks to get the technician out. They have to order parts. Another two weeks for them to return to install. So, I had the experience of no refrigerator for 3 weeks, now am on one month and counting for my washer. Each time they had parts shipped to my home, both times not given any means of tracking said parts, so in the case of the washer, had two parts to be ordered, tech to return in one week to install.
One part had arrived, was told that 2nd part had not been shipped yet and would reschedule. Part had not arrived still, day before rescheduled return and I was told, no there was only the one part needed so he would be out to install. Next I get the call that the technician will not be available and he can be out in another week and a half. Which now makes 32 days from initially call/schedule for repair. Apparently for my extended warranty through Lowe's, these are the only people I am allowed to use. Otherwise, I certainly would
