I thought ADT was a lot better, but I'm having a lot of issues with it. I've called seven times about my cameras not working. They were great as far as the installation. It was after when the installer left is when I started having issues. The next day, I tried to log into my cameras, and I couldn't log in. What was weird, when I got home, I could log in to my cameras and see just fine. But if I'm away from home, I can't see them. Now, it's saying that my doorbell camera needs to be recharged. I just had it installed less than a week ago.
I'm getting a runaround. ADT wants to meet me in the middle of the day, but it's hard for me to do that right now. I've met them three different times during the day to try to get this resolved, and I kept having to take off work for it. My wife can't take off work. She's an hour away from home. So, I told them today that, “Look, I can't take off work anymore. You'll have to meet me at 5:00 or after 5:00.” And the rep scheduled an appointment next month sometime, but I can't do that. What is the point in having it if it ain't gonna work right? I'm within my 30 days. I'm to the point now where I'm about to tell them, “Hey, come and get it and refund me my money.” It's ridiculous. I wouldn't recommend the system to anybody, especially for the amount of money that we have already spent with them. We spent over $400 with them, and they billed me two days after I got the installation for the service. It's very frustrating. That's the reason why you go with a reputable company.

I called ADT and the sales guy gave me a price. He told me I’d pay $100, and then the installation guy will come and activate. He said that I needed Wi-Fi for cameras, and power for the alarm. It would be 20 some dollars for regular alarm, and 50 some dollars for the cameras. I asked him if it would be unlimited cameras and he said, “Yes.” But when the installation guy came and I told him to put cameras here and there, he said, “No, I have to charge you $300 for each camera.” But they didn't tell me that. I was not too happy about it.
I noticed the next day when I checked in my phone on Facebook, they were offering $99 just to go home, and they were gonna put two cameras, and a camera for the Ring bell. It was a better deal. I called the guy and said, “I got this yesterday. What's the difference?” He told me ADT was outside company. The guy also told me, “Later on, if you want to upgrade, call us. Call us direct to us. Because I'm telling you. Those guys, they try to hustle the people.” So I was not too happy. I was really angry. I was ready to tell the installation guy to leave and I would get somebody else. But somebody broke into my house and I'm a truck driver, so I need the alarm and the cameras. So I told him to just put it on.

I called ADT directly and they wanted to give me $650 off whatever I got. But the plan was so expensive that the $650 didn't do anything so I told them I'd call them back. I called the light company to change my light over and that's when they introduced me to the third party that was handling ADT. I was given a wonderful deal and lots of credit. The whole experience was wonderful. Everybody that I spoke to was pleasant and everybody that I encountered was very helpful, answered every question, and didn't make me feel dumb because I had never had a security service before. The gentleman walked me through everything. It was great and I'm very appreciative.

The people I talked to first said that I was getting all this and that I was all set to go. When the installer came, I told him what the people said, and he said, “No, that’s not right.” I ended up buying over $500 of products. The installer was really nice. He installed the product that we wanted, but then we had a little trouble with it a couple times. Somebody came out to say that we didn't have enough voltage for the Ring alarm. It's working, but a couple of times, it doesn't. Also, installment was $99 plus tax and then we ended up paying $500, plus the first month security. I thought we were gonna get the $100 Visa card, but we haven't received it. ADT offers a lot of products. I like it because I can go to my phone and check on it all the time. That’s my main concern. I feel better too.

ADT's people on the phone told me that my price was going to be $27.99 monthly, but when the guy got here to install, he told me something different. They were professional but I just don't understand that on the phone, they told me one price, and in-person, it was a different price.

I was with Vivint and I didn’t like their 5-year contract. I switched to ADT. Their salespeople were very knowledgeable and informative and so were their technicians. The installation was nice. It was a really simple experience.

As far as the ADT sales team telling me about the program, some of it is overkill. Some of it is so much information that I would tend to think that a lot of people lose a lot of it or just don't get it in the first place because there's a lot coming up. But my security system is good. I love it. I don't have any trouble with it.

The sales rep was a good guy. The installation went very smoothly. The service was fantastic. But the price was expensive as hell. I did a lot of negotiating, but I would have gotten more product or a full-blown solution, had it not been so much. It was like $11,000, which is ridiculous. So I took some things off and was able to get it down to about $2,700, but I wanted more. The tech had a couple of phone calls with his boss. The discounts were nothing when you're talking 10,000, 11,000, or 12,000. The system is secure but not for that amount of money. I really put all my eggs in one basket to just deal with ADT.

ADT is very prevalent in the neighborhood where I live. When I talked to a couple of neighbors, they said the service was good. Installation went very quickly and efficiently. The guy that came gave me a walkthrough once he was done and he cleaned up behind himself, so he did a good job. Everything that I've set up and put in place works well at this point. I'm very satisfied so far.

I feel a lot more secure having ADT in my home. It works great. Their rep offered me one number, but then that wasn't honored by ADT. I guess the technology was older. The person who came to install was very good, very knowledgeable and he gave me my options. He gave me four options of different plans I could do. He made it very comfortable in talking with them, and he was certainly professional. I decided on a program I wanted, and he got it up, and then got it installed.

I know about ADT and I need the alarm system. So, I googled to check out the alarm company. When I called ADT, they told me the price that I thought it was until they came here. That was what I didn’t like. They told me it will only be $99 and they told me I would get all this free equipment. Then when they got here, I had to pay another $364, plus the monthly fee. They didn't tell me all that. When I questioned about it, I was told that they don't ever tell the customer that. I think that's like a bait and switch but since I need the camera that bad, I just went for it because he was here. But I didn’t like it, so I talked to a young lady yesterday about that.
Another thing I didn't like was my son was telling the tech that he wanted the camera one way, and he did it another way. We're not really satisfied with it, but we're just dealing with it. I'm waiting for AT&T to come and upgrade my internet. I wasn't told I need a certain amount of megabytes to get more than one camera. I'm trying to see if I will even keep the company. They didn’t tell me the truth. They also told me that they were gonna give me $100 gift card. I haven’t gotten the email yet to even claim that.

I'm Spanish and my husband is **, but I feel like there’s a lot of racists in Utah. One of our neighbors is. There's a lot of Spanish people in here. Getting a security system is something that my husband has wanted and we thought that we would be safe. We have two girls and a boy, and you can never be too careful. We feel great about the system. We also have nothing other than wonderful things to say about Daniel. He was an amazing, godly guy, polite, kind, and prudent. He got up and installed a camera exactly where I wanted and he went over with every single detail. I am a slow learner, but he explained it, and explained it.
Daniel ended up finishing around 12:45 after midnight. We felt so great about him that my husband and I even offered him that he could stay here for the night so he didn’t have to drive. That's crazy because we moved from New York City to Utah, and my husband is paranoid about everything. We used to have a DirecTV before and all the guys that would come would look creepy, with long hair, and weird, and we would be terrified, but Daniel was really nice. Still, if he wasn't wearing his tag with his name, my husband wouldn't let him in. We ended up talking about God and he was awesome.
One other thing that I really appreciate about Daniel was that he wasn't pushy. When somebody is trying to sell something, they can get too pushy, and I hate that. We told him first I wanted to go all-out, so I wanted seven cameras, and this and that. He did the math and it was gonna be $10,200. My husband said, “Oh my gosh. No, we’re not prepared for this. Can you put it down to around $3,000?” Daniel said, “Okay.” He went thing by thing and explained to us and said, “You know, the idea will be for you to get all this, but let's see what we can cut out.” It was great. In fact, my mom lives in New York, and she really wanted it because we had amazing things to say. I would completely recommend ADT.

The ADT rep was pretty good. I had free equipment and free installation and a Visa $100 gift card that I'm still waiting on now. The technician that came out to install was okay. He came out today to install a camera that should have been installed the day that he did the initial installation. But right now, I don't have my ADT system up and running because of a shortage. When he combined both together, because they sit behind my fireplace, the wire wasn't long enough. When I went to go put my stuff back, I started getting alert sent that I have a shortage of power. So I'm waiting on somebody to come to redo what he did or wait until he finish doing what he's doing to come back. All in all, everything was okay.

In previous homes, we had ADT, but we lived in the city and dangerous neighborhoods. We thought we were okay here, so when we moved here, we didn't add it to the house. However, our next-door neighbor had a break-in during the day. We got ADT because we already had experience with their company. The installer was friendly and very clear. I felt very comfortable and everything is what we expected. We are tenants and because we cannot go through the walls of our house, we couldn't install the cameras. We had to add those cameras on our own. Besides that, we like the doorbell that has a camera and it has a good range. It's also very easy to arm the alarm and take it off. We keep it armed all day in the "Stay" mode because there have been break-ins.

The sales representatives went step-by-step with me to show me how to arm and disarm, how to add users and download the application, and showed me to disarm and arm the system through the phone without getting up to go to the keypad and trying to type in the code and stuff. Go with ADT. It's one of the best security home systems out there. You won't go wrong with them. They're ready to protect you at any cost and ready to give you great service and take care of you.

ADT's rep was very good and detailed. I used ADT before so I'm familiar with the product and the work. I was very happy with the gentlemen that came and did the installation. The setup was very good and really quick. There was not a whole lot of hassle so there were no issues. I like the flexibility of the system. I can use the key fob that I was given or I can use my phone. I can see the details because I have a ring doorbell, I can also see the front door, and I can see the inside with the ADT system. I’m considering getting a floodlight camera to go over my garage so I can see pretty much the whole front.

My family had ADT back in the past. So, I decided to give them a call. I wish the reps would have gone into detail about how much it would cost it. They tell you you get $850 for free. Then, the guy that showed up said he wanted over $4,000 after the $850. So, I wish ADT and everybody else was upfront more about the money. Besides that, everything's been fine. The biggest thing that I had a problem with is we waited a little over a month to get an install. It was almost five weeks. The lady I talked to on the phone was very nice and pleasant. I told her exactly everything I wanted. I told her we didn't want sensors in the house because I leave dogs out at night and when I'm gone, the sensors would work. The she said, “You should get the system almost typically free. We're going to give you $850 of equipment.”
At the end of the day, I still came out-of-pocket another $2,000 for this equipment. If I would have known it was that much, I would have never gone to ADT. $2,000 for some window sensors is craziness. ADT’s customer service pretty much said that was the going rate for their equipment. We did get the $850 off but I just wish they were truthful and upfront because legitimately, I would have never booked the appointment and waited a month and a half if I knew I was gonna drop over two G's into some window alarms. I could have gone onto Amazon and got SimpliSafe or I could have got it for not even a third of the price. But I like the equipment. I like the way everything's set up. I like the interface on it. ADT would be a good company if they're just upfront about their pricing.

ADT was my first call. I talked to some lady and she explained to me a lot and convinced me. The installers were pretty clean. They did a good job on setting up everything and they were professional. I was happy with that. I like everything.

The ADT sales reps were very friendly and very informative. The only thing is some of the hardware wasn't on straight. So, I do have to call them back and let them know that they may have to come back out because it's not straight and it looks like an eyesore to me. They are willing to come back out once I'm ready. I have to paint on that area. Once I'm done doing that, then I'll call them back out to come straighten the merchandise. Other than that, everything is fine. I would encourage others to consider ADT. The process was painless. The sales rep and everyone was very helpful. I do appreciate the great customer service.

I looked at a lot of security systems and I wasn't interested in installing them myself. I wanted the security of a company installing it. I went with ADT and the installation went fine. It was hassle-free on my part, which I appreciate. We have the motion, fire, panic, and door security features. Everything works fine. I only wish ADT had a better price.

The installer was very helpful, answered all the questions, and gave a detailed explanation of all the different options that we had. He was quick with installation too. The system works well. I like that I can do everything from my phone and then I can activate my system if I forget to do it before I leave home. It's very good.

We were having an issue with our home fire alarm system, and we wanted to get it taken care of. The house had security in it already. I saw an ad in one of the magazines I was looking at. I looked up ADT, called them and they answered my questions. They came out, we got their system put in and my wife seems satisfied with it. The installer was very professional, knew exactly what he needed to do, and did the best work for us. We had conference calls, and I talked to him three different times. He thoroughly explained how it was all going to work, what we needed to do, and what we could or couldn't do. He was very good at all the questions I had as well. He was very knowledgeable and helpful.
We have the best system for our needs. It all works very easily and looks good. It seems like a very good system so far. Hopefully, I never need the security part of it, but it's there if we do. Hopefully, I never need the fire alarm or the carbon monoxide part of it as well, but we had all that installed. Hopefully, it all works well, and I don't have any headaches with it.

The ADT salesman gave me different options and then when their rep who would do the installation came here, it was totally different. I thought it would include the cameras and stuff like that but when the installer got here, it kept adding on. So they were just in a hurry to get their sales and they wanted to go to the next call. I was disappointed 'cause I thought I was gonna get two key fobs, one for my husband and one for me. But I only have one. The installer did a good job. I just wish the package is the same as they tell us on the phone.
I need to call the tech back because when I've armed, it beeps for me to leave but when I come back, it doesn't do anything. I did it one time when it was first installed and when I came back, it beeped. It gave me time to disarm. But this time, when I walked back in, it was quiet. So, I thought something was wrong. I tried again. I went grocery and when I came back, it was the same thing.

I liked ADT's customer service. Their rep did everything that she could to get me signed up. She was very professional. The installation was okay. I don't feel as though the installer provided everything that I could have gotten. I had an allowance but I feel like he did the bare minimum. But he got me some services, so that was all that was needed.

Everything went alright with the installation of my ADT system, but I had one little problem. After the system was in, the ADT people called me in and said something was wrong with my system but I got it done now. I'm using the system now. I can turn it off and on at night. They sent a guy out here to show me how to run these stuff.

The initial salesperson on the phone was extremely knowledgeable, helpful, and worked to get someone out pretty quickly. Then, the technician we had was great. The only thing is where we are is extremely rural and so we don't have internet access. We were looking for a camera system, and online, on ADT, we could see some closed-circuit options. But the technician didn't have any background or know about that.

It was straightforward to set up the system and get everything working. The only thing that was a bit of an issue was my initial consultation. They didn't tell me that the 29.99 price didn't include the camera system. Other than that, it was fine. I'm satisfied with the features. I've used ADT before, so I felt comfortable using them again.

The ADT sales rep that I spoke with on the phone was fine. The gentleman that came and spoke to us in detail about the system before he installed it was Tyler. He was very nice and very educated. He was very knowledgeable, went through everything step by step, and it was a pleasure to talk to him. I would recommend him to anybody. He grew up in the town that I was a policeman in. I retired in 1996 and he graduated high school in 2008 in Princeton, and he recognized my last name, apparently, from my children. He couldn't have went into any more detail. He explained everything completely. As far as what was installed, we've got a sliding glass door, we've got an entry door, and we've got two windows, and everything is covered. We got the camera that I went ahead and mounted on the wall that covers the entire living room and both the entry door and the patio door.

The installation was the easiest part. The man came out and wore a mask the entire time. He went over all the options with me. We troubleshot some things. When it looked like it wouldn't be in my budget, he helped me trim things down that, in his experience, other homeowners had not used as much. I work from home, so he had to go about his work installing things. After discussing things with him, I felt comfortable letting him have access to my home to get the installation work done. He got everything done. Very professional, very quick. I felt comfortable with the equipment that was installed. The system itself is great. The doorbell camera and the sensors on my garage were two of the biggest things I was looking for. And the app works really well. So, I'm happy with it.

The sales rep answered all my questions. It was a good experience. I had one issue though. The first night we stayed at the home, one of the magnets for the window fell off and it set off the alarm. It woke us up at six o’clock in the morning. Thankfully, it wasn't too late night, but after looking around the house, I found that the magnet fell off, so I just reapplied it.
There was also a bit of a mess left over from installation and there was confusion on what was needed for the initial install because I was in the process of moving in. At first, I wasn’t informed that Wi Fi was needed. When the ADT guy came to install the doorbell cameras, that's when they told me that it was needed, so I couldn’t finish the install the same day. I also don’t know when they’ll come back for the doorbell part. Other than the the install issue and the magnet falling off, I'm satisfied. So far, everything's good.

ADT's rep was very informative, answered all of my questions perfectly, explained everything in a way that I could understand it, and told me what was important and why it was important. Then, the installation was pretty much seamless. He explained everything that I needed to know about how to operate my system and how to access my account. He was very thorough in helping me with my installation and pleasant as well. We were protecting each other from the pandemic, too. He was also able to explain to me how the smartphone app worked and as the days go on, I utilize it more. He also explained to me how he uses it at home, which was based on a first person view of it. And I use everything he said that he does.

Our security system was installed on the 10th of February and William was the person who did the work. He got here about 4:30 and worked till about 8:30 at night to get the system installed. When he left, it was up and operating. We had it armed the first night and we haven't had any trouble with it since. We have another ADT system in another house. We also have another house that has a different system on it. We've learned with each one. The one we have now represents the best qualities of both of the previous systems that we have. We like it.
This is the first system we have that has a talking alarm and we have to get used to it. The other ones have a chime. The only thing with our system now is we are gonna adjust the voice that says things like, "Garage door open" a little bit lower. William probably thought we are older people and we can't hear very well. There are five steps on the volume and William set it on four, which is next to the highest. When I put the dog out in the middle of the night, everybody in the household jumped up.

I’ve been with ADT for years and I’ve had other places with their security. I recently got their service again and everything was great. I talked to several different reps on the phone during my purchase and they did a great job. The installer also did an excellent job and explained everything very well. I feel secured now that I got their system installed.

I figured that ADT would be a good company to go with. The rep helped me out a lot, and the installation went great. The system is of great quality. I like the alarm to tell you someone coming in and out of the house.

I'm satisfied with the features, but there's one thing that we’re having a little issue with. We didn’t know the glass break monitor things were so sensitive, so they’re constantly going off. We have kids, so even when they drop a toy, it’s telling us that there was a glass broken in the room.

My cousin uses ADT and she referred me. The sales rep that I had was great, super informative, and walked me through how to operate everything really easily. So, no complaints. They have a lot of options for packages, fairly reasonable pricing, and the system is easy to use.

I had ADT before for two years on my other house and I liked the service. I still got them for my mother also, and I continued over to mine. A cool dude came to install the system and everything was good. It's running smooth since with last year. I am very satisfied. I like that I could listen to all my cameras, and I could talk to them.

I was just gonna do a couple of rings and call it a day. But spontaneously, I was like, "Screw it." Because Protect Your Home had the deal which was a $1,000 worth of free equipment. So I figured, why not. My parents live in the house so it's peace of mind for me. The installer was an amazing guy. I love talking to him. He was very helpful, and was very good with addressing any of my concerns. I wasn't able to get everything I wanted, but that's just because the equipment is expensive.

My ADT security system was put in on Friday and I haven’t been able to alarm my house because before I can go out the backdoor to the garage, the alarms start blaring. They don't give me enough time to get out to set the alarm and go out the door. So, something is not right. The guy who put it in came by last Sunday with his computer to see if he could set it and he could not. So, he said he was going to get somebody to set it to give me more time to get out the door before the alarm goes off. But I haven't gotten anybody to do that yet and I'm still waiting. I also feel like I was not told the truth. When ADT's reps talked to me on the phone that Thursday, they said I qualified for a new system with the Ring doorbell and for all-new equipment. But they did not tell me that everything that they were telling me came at a cost. All in all, I'm not happy with them right now.

Our interaction with the sales rep went well but there was some misinformation. He told us the equipment that we got would be free. We were supposed to receive two door sensors, the keypad, and window sensors. I was on the phone with the rep for over an hour and he said he would include two key fobs and glass break sensors for free. But when the technician got here, he said that we had to give him my checking account. We had to pay $600. Now, my account is overdrawn $600 because I wasn't prepared for that. Besides that, we had a good technician. He was really nice and explained a lot to us. I like our system. The only thing I wasn't sure of is the volume.

ADT has a good reputation. I've known people that had it before. We liked the idea of the panic button because I have an elderly mom who is with us, so that's helpful for her too. ADT gave us all the options, what would be the best for us, and allowed us to make the decision without being pushy. They then went through how everything works, gave us great explanation and all the contact information should we have any additional questions.

I had a home with ADT and I wanted to cover the other house at the same time. Everything was fine but there were some subcontractors that might have changed the business. One of the reps I dealt with said he was going to get in touch with me before the time came, but I got four different call with four different times. In the end, I still had the right time that I talked to the person the first time. My first scheduled appointment was between 2:00 and 4:00, and he showed up at the right time. So I don’t know how the other one was mixed up with the other one for some reason.
ADT might have been getting rid of the subcontractors and the subcontractors were still receiving calls when they shouldn't have been. Even when I was at the house and the guy that was installing, another guy showed up to install. And we had to get in touch with somebody to make sure that the guy who was doing the installation was who he was. But he was who he was because they'd already told him he was coming. ADT didn't give me his name though, but they said he was coming. Despite that, I would still recommend ADT to friends because mix-up do happen. In terms of the service, I never had no problem with them.

The technician got here at 3 o'clock and didn't leave until like 11:00. It took almost three hours just for him to explain everything to me and what is best for the house. My parents live with me and I have caregivers coming in and out of the house. I wanted for them to get access to the door to come in. I also wanted the cameras at the doors so I can see what's going on in the house. The technician was just trying to upsell me on everything. The system ended up being way more than I wanted to spend. There were also offers that I saw but were not offered to me. After he was done with the installation, the outcome was not so great. In fact, I just had technicians leave here about half an hour ago.
The trim around my basement door was where one of the door things was. When the first tech was putting it on the first time, he ripped pieces of wood off of the trim and broke it. The sensor was too far away from the center for the door to let you know to open and close. After he left, the system kept saying the door was open. I couldn't arm my system without bypassing it. Also, the door lock for that same door didn't work because he never tried out the door before he put the new door lock on. It's like resistance. The technicians who came recently did an awesome job and fixed the problem.

I've been dealing with ADT for years. My parents had them and I had their security system in my other home in Paradise, California. If your alarm would go up, they'd call you right away and they were very responsive to you. I got in touch with them recently as I wanted the cameras. I have a couple of grandkids that live with me and I wanted to monitor when they're out in the yard playing. I had a nice experience with the installation. The guy that was putting in the equipment felt like an old friend. So far, I love the features included in my package and their monitoring. I also know several people that have them and they don't complain about them.

The thing was set up and everything is up and running. I can hear and see everything. Everything was great. Somebody was trying to get us to go with Vivint and they have the same quality. We almost went with them, but ADT has been around for years, and I felt more comfortable.

The installer set the system up last week and he was good, polite, and helpful. We just have the standard system. We like the app, but the app apparently costs more money per month, so I opted not to do that. It would be nice at the price point I'm paying right now.

Protect Your Home's sales rep was very friendly, seemed very competent, and knew what he was talking about. We had an issue where the sensor for the back door wouldn't work on our door, but we're about to move to a different house, so it really wasn't a big issue for us. But if we weren't moving, that would have been a big issue because we can't even arm our backdoor now. There was no solution for it. But that wasn't their guy's fault. It's just the way this house was built and we're renting it. So, I wish there would have been another workaround so we could have armed the backdoor. Other than that, our experience with them was great and I would tell others that Protect Your Home is an affordable solution. And the technician that was in our area that came here seemed knowledgeable and efficient.

I was on a veteran's website and was looking at benefits that are out there for veterans. ADT was on there and I filled it out. They called me back. The sales representative gave me a bunch of credits and she spent 45 minutes talking to me, which seems like a long time when you're doing a sales/marketing type of thing. She explained to me the $27 a month was for a telephone system where you have to have a landline with the little remotes. I didn't understand that because I thought I was able to run everything from my phone. The $50-a-month system is a cellular system that you work with your phone. There was some confusion. Aside from that, she was remarkable.
A guy named James came out and he was top-notch. I have some security issues and I had a million and one questions. Initially, I didn't know that James was the installer. I thought he was the guy that comes and lays this stuff out and says, "This is what we can do. This is how we do it. This is how it works." He spent so much time ensuring me different things like the glass break technology, the window sensors, the motion detector, where to place it, and the remotes. He was here for hours explaining how this stuff works. I asked him who I should call in case I got more questions and he gave me the numbers.
It was already 6:30 at night and he asked if he could come back the next day to do the installation. I agreed. He came back the next day exactly when he says he would and he was with another gentleman named Adam. They put things up and asked me what I thought. They explained why they did things the way they did and what it would do. Kudos to both guys, especially James. He was fantastic. From the sales to the installation, everything is as I was told it would be. It was done efficiently and they took an enormous amount of time to help me with my own questions. I've only had the ADT system for a short time but everything works. I'm hoping that this will help alleviate some of the issues I have. I'm very happy with ADT.

ADT's rep did what I asked and he had his mask on while he was here. I stayed at a distance and he took the proper precautions. I've had the system for only a couple of days now and so far, it's been great. It's much easier to use and more up-to-date than the other ADT system. I wanted to get the camera thing, but at the present time, I didn't have the funds. And they were saying if I get it then, I will get the two for a certain price. If I do it later, I'll get it for one for the price. So I didn't like that. But other than that, I was okay with everything else. They worked with me, install the equipment, and billed me in a timely monthly period.

I paid the $99 in which it came up to $105 for the installation. I told the guy that I wanted the sensors for the windows, and he told me it's a dollar and something cents. When I looked at my account though, I saw another 30 some dollars was deducted from my card. I was not informed why. Other than that, I’m very satisfied with our system. I feel more comfortable with it, especially since I work from home. I'm at home the majority of the time, but I mainly use it when I go to bed. That sense of security makes me sleep better.

ADT was a recommendation from my boss at work. Their sales rep was patient and self-explanatory about everything, and I was very okay with everything. I said that I didn’t know I would be paying down much when the person fixing it came in. But the guy that came to fix it was also a very friendly person. So, it’s a good thing. The installer put me through how to use it after fixing it. I’m satisfied with the features but not totally. I was thinking I’m gonna get the camera doorbell, but he said it’s not included in what I’m doing. The camera doorbell is something I have to pay for again. I paid 400 and something on that day, and I was thinking it’s part of it but I didn’t get anything.

The ADT sales agent lied about the policy and the discount on my insurance and how much the actual services will cost. The installation experience was fine. In fact, I was still given a sales pitch. All they try to do is try to upsell people and get them to buy the most equipment but it does not disclose in the initial phone call that, “This is how much this equipment would cost and this is the monthly fee. " That's really not the monthly. So it's all very misleading.Then you have this guy in your home, and you've already paid your $107. Now you kinda feel obligated because he’s already out here and you've already paid for it to install.
I ended up spending an extra $1,000. I was told, "Oh, you'll get 20% off on your homeowner’s insurance," which was a complete lie. I got 50 bucks off my homeowner's insurance like it did nothing for me, and I’m locked in a three-year contract like a trap. It's terrible. I'll probably be removing my services before my three days is up.

My girlfriend had ADT in her old house, and we got a flyer in the mail of our new home. So, I gave them a call. Everything went really good with the purchase. Installation was really good. The technician was really friendly and wore his mask. He did a really great job. Having the system makes the home feel more secure and safe. The technology is pretty cool. I’m still learning it but the system is user-friendly. Just nothing to complain about, really.

I used to be with ADT before. But recently, they came to my house and brought the wrong equipment. And then the manager got mad and canceled out on me because he wanted to install what he had. He didn't know what the previous installer and I went over. And he got sick, so he failed to inform. But instead of the manager saying he would let the previous installer call me back or he would come back out, he got smart and said, "I'm the manager and you're getting rude with me." I said, "Well, you're getting rude with me." And then he said, "I'll just cancel you out and have the other guy come back." What he didn't understand was he canceled my whole order like I didn't want ADT anymore. So, it made it hard for me to call back because they kept saying I canceled, but I didn't. But with the second group of people, everything went well. I love the system but the contractor is what would turn you away.

ADT tended to be more flexible. They broke it down better than another company I called, so I decided to go with them. The guy I spoke to was knowledgeable about the system. And the question he couldn't answer, he got somebody on the phone that could answer it. It was 40 minutes on the phone total, sign up and schedule. And then, the guy that came over hooked everything up fast. He told me where he could put it because I wanted it in a different area, but he couldn't go there because I’ve got the outlet issue. But other than that, he hooked everything up. I like the app. I like that it shows me everything. There are some things I couldn't figure out, like how to set notifications to be sent to my phone. Other than that, I like the system. Be knowledgeable about what heavy equipment you have and how it gets set up in your house.

We've had ADT for a week now. We were looking for a camera system, and it happened to pop up on our Facebook thing. The representative was okay. He was trying to make us pay for something else, and we had already paid for it. Once he came out, the only thing he was supposed to do was the connection and gave us what we already had paid for. But while he was in the house, he was selling us something that was $800 something trying to get us out of more money out of pocket. What I did was call his supervisor, and his supervisor got it straight.
Having the system installed now, I feel like it’s safety for the girls. That’s what I was trying to get it for anyway. I like the quality. But it's up to one minute, and my husband was trying to see how he can go get it lower than one minute because that one minute you'll be in the house, you'll be done being robbed and everything with the one minute and the alarm just not kicking off.

The installation of my ADT system went great. The tech came and worked hard and got it done. We have outdoor cameras and that's the main thing we wanted. We like that. We have friends who have had ADT, and they were happy with the service. That was why we went with it.

We’ve been misled. ADT is trying to rip me off. The second day, we decided we didn't want the system so I called up to cancel. They said a bunch of babbling on about all because I agreed to certain things. But I didn't know that was would lock me into anything, because I was told even by their manager, I had 30 days to decide I didn't want it, and they would come and take it out. Otherwise, they want me to pay them $1,600. Now, they're giving me a hard time about it.
ADT demanded that I keep the service. We wanted to go with another company. They said they were going to refund me 300 something dollars but they still haven't refunded me the $300, which is a reputation that they're known for, if you check with the Better Business Bureau. They got a 1.5 average with the Better Business Bureau. 3,000 complaints over three years for similar thing, even worse problems than I am in. How can you operate a company like that? You totally mislead the public on how great they are. It took me a whole morning yesterday to get ahold of somebody that could straighten it, even quarterly understand what was going on. And then I though, "Well, if I have an emergency, if it takes a whole morning to get ahold of somebody, how do I know they're gonna even do anything?"
I'm a little ticked off because I got to keep something for three years that I didn't want. I have to downgrade. Then I will be downgraded after 30 days, and be stuck with them for three years in my house. None of these companies are doing that right now. There are no contracts. ADT overpriced the equipment. And they're forcing me to keep the equipment that was overpriced. I told them I wasn't going to pay that, because I know that their equipment is only worth $350. They use high pressure sales.
The technician who was an independent contractor, was a nice guy. He seemed to know what he was doing. But they didn't explain anything. They came in, slapped things together, and left. He instructed me, but he didn't show my wife so she doesn't like the system that much. She doesn't know how to work it. So now, I have to sit around all day long, waiting for a technician to come to show us how this thing works. ADT has a notorious reputation for making promises that they don't intend to keep. So, pretty soon, if I don't see that $300 in my bank account by tomorrow, my attorneys get notified and I will file a lawsuit. I would never recommend ADT to anybody.

The technician called first to make sure he was at the right house. He was across the street in the other lot and I told him to come across. He introduced himself, who he was, and what he came to do. He was very nice and polite. He asked me if I fully understood and I told him I did. I would highly recommend him to anybody.

When I moved, I was looking for a security. All of a sudden, ADT started sending me text messages and calling me. I already had Vivint, but I moved and I left the security system there. The ADT installer was was amazing. I couldn't ask for a better installer. He was really professional and accurate. He really put a nice deal together for me. I feel secure now that the system is installed. I got the mobile app. It's pretty good. Sometimes, it’s kind of slow. I’m having little difficulties with it, but not too much. Sometimes, I tried to disarm my system from the mobile app, and it’d take its time. It’d tell me it’s disarmed, but it was not. I walked in and the alarm went off. I'm like, “Oh, but it said it was disarmed.” So, there are little glitches with it but overall, I'm kind of satisfied with it.

My truck was robbed. I had a bunch of tools in my truck. We had a surveillance already, and it really did nothing as far as what we were looking for. The choice to get ADT was one of my neighbors has it and I kind of looked at their setup and what they had. It just made sense to go that route. Everything as far as getting set up and getting lined up was perfect. The guy that came to install was excellent. We couldn't have asked for a better installer. He was helpful, had plenty of information, installed everything perfectly, and he was nice, clean and very neat. The only thing I would say that I quite dislike is the notifications because we got an inspector where he gets all the vehicles coming by. But as far as checking the emails, it takes all day long. If we had some way of kind of pausing it from going to our phones, and then we can just go back and view them later, that would be more ideal for us.

Since my doorbell doesn’t work and I’m waiting for management to fix it, they should find a way where I don’t need a doorbell and I just need to peep out there to see who’s knocking on my door.

I was on the internet and typed in something to try to see who I could get prices from. I wound up talking with somebody from ADT. Their reps were friendly but I don't think they were very knowledgeable when it comes to the technical side. The installer was very knowledgeable and very professional. The installation of the outdoor camera was challenging for him but he didn't give up. He wound up staying here for about five hours to get it done.

Everybody talks about ADT, so I just heard it by word of mouth. I just went straight to the source itself in ADT. My sales representative was very knowledgeable. He helped me understand a lot of stuff, so he was very informative, helpful, and patient. He deserves a raise. The installer didn't put the inside camera where I wanted it to go. But he did it thoroughly. He was fast and very professional.
I love the system. But to me, it was the understanding there should have come more with it because I bought an eight-camera system and the young lady I spoke with over the phone told me that it was compatible with ADT's system. That's why I purchased it. But when the guy came out, he teold me that it's not compatible. Also, the prices for the cameras are high, but it’s probably because of the kind of cameras that ADT uses. But those are the only things. I like the system a lot because I can pull it up on my laptop and on my phone. I constantly check it out, so it makes me feel secure.

The service was fine but beware that the rate continues to increase and also if you cancel they charge you an additional month of service. ADT says the cost is due to powering down the equipment which is a crock.

The person that came and installed the item was fair but the advertisement was misleading. They said it was $99 but I never knew that when they come out, I would end up paying $300. Then they quote back to you, "You got a package that was like $2,000." But not really. They also said I got three months to decide. You're stuck into a contract that you can't get out of for three years. The quality of the service is average like everybody else so I don't see any significance in it. Then you have to pay for everything out of your pocket except the keypad and a couple of doors, and it's overpriced to me. They think it's all about the money. I was telling that person it's not about the money for me 'cause I got money. I can have anybody come in and install anything in my house at any time.

I like the door sensors. I also really like the alarms, like the fume and fire alarms. They are connected. That's pretty neat. ADT was pretty efficient and fast. They delivered what was asked for. They've been pretty good.

The person I talked to on the phone sounded like certain things were included in the package with the price that he was giving me. When the tech got there, I ended up spending about $1,000 more than what I thought I was going to. I thought he would just come to talk to us about how it'd be set up, but he was there to set it up. ADT should be clearer on things that are gonna cost extra, that it's not included in the package or in the price discount, and the final cost if it's what I want. I thought I was getting all my windows covered with the discount that they were giving me, and I didn't. Then I thought the price was going to be totally different, instead it ended up costing me more out of pocket. I just wanted it done and over with. Then they kinda give a price of between 30 and 60. But then by the time I get done, it always seems to be $60 a month. They don't even say what the $30 a month will cover.

I knew what I needed to have and the sales rep fulfilled a lot of the things that we discussed. But it could have been better if they were upfront about the cost. I asked the rep two times. I said that I was swapping out a system and I'm maintaining the service side of it as far as it being monitored. I was told there wouldn't be any cost. I was getting a $900 credit for whatever reason but when it came all down to it, I wound up paying about 1,300 bucks for upgrading the system. That wasn't the first time that I've heard that on the sales side representations about getting the sales contract done.
I had been a Protection 1 person and they have since been absorbed by ADT. I needed the system and I wanted it but that part was disingenuous. I'm going to be a customer because of the value of the system but they could have done a better job on representing it truthfully. But the tech and I communicated on what my needs were and some of the upgrades, and he did a great job of implementing that.

Some ADT guy called me from somewhere and got my information. He said that he was not gonna charge my card but he did and then he disappeared. That money's gone. When I got in touch with corporate, they got me another contractor who quoted me a price. But, it's not the price I wanted for the number of cameras I wanted.
ADT's tech was personable. But I'm not happy with the system. The tech put the app on my phone and I can't control what's going on. The camera in the house and outside the house are fine. Anytime somebody goes by, I get beeps on my phone. I work at the hospital and can't turn it off from the app. I had to go on a different computer somewhere else and log in. I don't have time for that and I should be able to do that from the app.

Everything went great with ADT. The guy who came in and installed stuff got sidetracked sometimes, but he was really great. We have the doorbell camera and the intercom kind of thing with our phone. We also have sensors on the ground floor windows and the doors, and we have the smart touch panel too.

We had one incident where the detector sensors fell off the wall. It was double-taped on the wall and when we had police come out, we were informed that it should have been nailed to the wall. We notified ADT and they came out and they put it back. The system is great and I feel safe. I worked with ADT before years ago as well, and it was a great service at that time.

The ADT rep was pretty good and the installer was very understanding. The installation was extremely good. They did a neat job putting the system on the wall. The system is digital and it has a keypad. The quality is good. I can do everything from the phone and I don't even need the remote.

I recently moved before my contract was up with ADT and after talking to 5 different people- and getting 5 different answers, I was told that they would cancel my contract at my old house and start a new 3 year contract at my new house- no penalties, no problems, just a $99 install fee. There is a clause in my contract that states this- but apparently if you sign up with one of their vendors there are different rules and when you call in, the corporate office acts like you aren't even a customer. But all good. Until I discovered my old contract wasn't cancelled and they continued to charge me for my old house service while charging me for my new house service.
After several phone calls - had to hang up numerous times because I couldn't wait any longer - average of 45-60 minutes - I finally got someone who was nice and said she would take care of it and she cancelled my old contract but couldn't refund the additional charges because she said there was a 30 day cancellation notice. I let it go. Didn't have any more time to continue to fight with them. Then I got a letter in the mail from ADT that a $838.87 charge to my credit card was declined and to please call in to take care of the matter or re-instate my service. Then I started getting collection phone calls.
Finally got someone named Wesley on the phone today who said he has reversed the charges on my account. I requested an email or confirmation or paper trail that this had been taken care of. He said he couldn't provide me with anything other than his name. This company is a nightmare. I have spent hours waiting on the phone and numerous calls to clear this matter up. One of their employees said that is why the wait times are so long- billing problems. There is even a option on their call tree to check "refunds". Can you imagine if they took your money out of your checking account and you had to wait for them to return it? OMG- Good luck! AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS- AND DEFINITELY DO NOT GIVE THEM A DEBIT CARD!!!

The sales rep was a very nice guy. He was very thorough and he explained everything. I asked a lot of questions and was very helpful. The guy who did the installation was amazing. He explained everything he was doing. He went over the package that we could get. He worked with me so that we didn't have to pay thousands of dollars for the equipment. He was very professional and I'm very happy with our experience. The app's awesome and I really like it. We didn't have that when we were in Tennessee. I would recommend ADT to family, friends and co-workers.

The install went good. Although I wasn't too happy because the tech put a camera that I had in the front and he pulled it apart for some reason. I just told him to take it off, but I didn't realize until he left. I couldn't find all the pieces of that camera. I don't know what happened with that camera. I found some pieces, but I didn't find the antenna that it had. But he did a good job on the installation. I'm enjoying the camera that is sending us the view of who shows up. Also, we feel safe when we open a door and it's telling us that this door is open. ADT has been good. It's like a mind protection when we're not here at home.

One of my friends has ADT, so he referred me to them. When they first came out to install the equipment, I was out of state and my wife was here but she didn't know anything. When I came back, I didn't see an invoice and I had issues with the installation. I talked to the manager and he gave me some discount. Then, the guy from Protect Your Home came out and put the carbon monoxide almost all the way on the ground on the floor. But I have two little kids and it could easily to reached by even a six-month-old. Then, he made a holes on things. I got a brand new house and and I had to move to everything. Plus, he put in a Wi-Fi extender but we got a really good Wi-Fi network in the house. I thought that a Wi Fi extender was complimentary and he didn't charge me for it. But when I saw the invoice, he charged me $50.
I had to call Protect My Home about my issues and I told the rep that I needed to talk to the manager. But she said that she could not transfer the call directly, which I could understand. So, I explained my concerns to her and she said she could send the technician the next day, that they were going to give him the money, and he was going to refund my money. The tech came in yesterday, took out the router, and directly connected the camera to it. He took out the extender, too, and we never had any problem since then.
The first tech should have asked us if we wanted the carbon monoxide on the ground. On top of that, my friend is living next door and he was there during the installation I was complaining about. He asked the tech to put it by the entrance door on the floor since I got two little kids, and the tech said that he couldn't go higher than that range. But the guy who came in directly from ADT for the service yesterday said that it was not necessary like that. He said that you could put it up to five to six feet. Other than that, when I had the Wi-Fi extender for 15 days, I had to reset it every 24 hours. Otherwise, it was not working. So that was the reason I figured out that there was no need for it. When I texted the tech, he said I needed to relocate it. But I relocated all the outlets in my house, in the garage and in the laundry room, and it was still doing the same thing.
After I built the house, I called ADT to come and install the security first because I'm not staying at the house. I'm at a different property. So I needed something for to secure my house. But now, every day I have to go to the house and reset the camera. I'm dealing with all these things and I don't need that. ADT offers 30 days where if you don't like the service, you can cancel it. I’m just working out something right now, but I may cancel this service. I'm also looking at Vivint at the moment. When I called Protect Your Home yesterday, I told them about that. The system's functionality is fine but I like Vivint a little more.

The ADT rep gave me a lot of information. He tested all the equipment before he left. Several times, he went over everything with me. And he was very professional. So far, everything is user-friendly. This system was very well needed because I work two jobs. I get emails to my phone. Any little moving around, anything in the house, they alert me. I get a notification, so I feel safe.

When the salesperson came out, they addressed all of our needs and definitely went through our home and offered suggestions on what they thought would be the best way to set the system up with the situation that we had. So that was really helpful. I like the fact that we're able to monitor things. The picture quality is really good. But I had one episode that I was not real happy with. We have a stalker and he came into our atrium area on the 13th. That was the one day we had no video. For some reason, it didn't capture anything. I can't understand why. It's so bewildering. What scared me about that is we have nothing from that day. I called ADT and they looked back too, and they said there was nothing there. It makes me feel not so secure, because if it would go out that one day, does that mean we're gonna have that problem in other days?

The pricing was a little highly questionable. When the guy came here, they didn't give me what they originally promised over the phone which was an annoyance. Even the guy was kind of taken aback by it. But it's an affordable price and it was expedient.

On the internet, there was a portion there where ADT said that they allowed veterans $650 worth of equipment, so I looked into it. The sales agent started off pretty persistent, but he mellowed out to be a nice fella. He was good. I didn't like the idea that things were added on as we spoke. I was determined to buy the small package, 29.95 and that was all I was gonna do. But when the representative came out to install it, he did a little bit better job in selling more than what I wanted, but I wanted it - an extra camera and the extra smoke detector. I might have said no to the person I've talked to on the phone, but at the same token, he explained it to me a little bit better and of course, I went with it. The system is fabulous. We can ensure that we rest and sleep a little bit better without sleeping with one eye open.

Signing up with them was a pleasant experience. When the installer came in, he sat down and explained to me what he was going to do and what cost would be. He inspected where I want to install the system and then he inspected the house to see if it was able to be done. He showed me how to work the system. He told me all about the system, where would be the stuff at, and how it was a good system. It was a very pleasant experience. I wish I would have got the cameras, but I’m okay because right now, I can't afford it. The price is much higher now than I had 20 years ago.

The salesman and installer were awesome and professional 100%. Yesterday, my alarm went off. My garage door blew open from the wind and the customer service was great. If people want the security knowing their home is safe, I would 100% recommend ADT.

My brother has ADT and he recommended me to them. We had issues, but most of them have been resolved. The first technician that came in drilled a really large whole on my doorframe and I'm still not happy with how it was left. I understand the safety part of it and how that works but it doesn't look good at all because where he installed the deadbolt, the hole that he drilled is very large to where there's nothing left on the right side of the doorframe.
Then, my wife was upset because the first technician didn't wear his mask inside the home. He said he was in the military and overseas during certain years and that they were immune to the COVID. It was an interesting reason that he gave to my wife and she thought it was crazy. He was going to come back on a Sunday to finish everything but my wife called and requested that he not return. Then, the second tech who came out wore his mask while he worked. Other than that, I still haven't received or been notified about the $100 Visa gift card. Then today, I was checking my feeds and one of my cameras is not working. So I was going to try and look at home and see if it's not unplugged.

The rep was super friendly, informative and did a good job of presenting ADT. I might not have leaned that way if he hasn’t been so good. The installer was excellent. He did a good job and explained everything. We did have a problem with the video camera. It quit on us and it was the following week that they came out and put a new one on. We're still having some issues with it and they're supposed to come out Saturday again and kinda try and figure out what's going on. It's the only thing I'm disappointed in a little bit but everybody's been helpful in trying to get it figured out. I'm very happy. Everything else has been wonderful. The system is easy to use. It's not complicated. One reason we got it was ‘cause I have my mother-in-law live with us and she's in her 80s so we wanted something for her that she could operate. We also got her the pendant that goes around her neck in case something happens.

The guy was fantastic. He explained everything very well. He was very personable and easy to get along. He was very thorough while we test fire the system a few times to make sure we had it right. I like that the smoke alarm goes straight to the fire department. We have three cats and a dog and whenever we're gone somewhere, we don't like to leave them alone. The best feature of it is the fact that I can mess with my girlfriend by turning the alarm on remotely when I'm at work. We're looking forward to getting the camera installed once we redo our house. This house dates back to 1900 and the wiring is from 1933 so putting in the cameras wasn't going to work.

The rep took her time to install and made sure the mess was clean. ADT has a lot of newer equipment, up to date, and fast with timing, and with recording. The motion sensors are very on point. However, there are more cons to pros simply because I had to order three cameras. I thought I was going to receive one camera with my package deal, and I didn't. I ended up having to pay for them, which at the end of the day, came out expensive. Also, it's a very good system, but I don't like how with all three cameras set up and sensors, I take a lot of data from my Wi-Fi. Periodically, I have to unplug cameras to configure the Wi-Fi. Overall, it’s a really good company and setup. The customer service is fair, except for that little part that was left out. Still, I like ADT and I feel comfortable with it. I would highly recommend it.

I made a payment and I was told that it would be the only payment that I would have at that time. The lady explained to me that she was giving me enough to where I would be able to get the things that I wanted to get. I wanted to get the camera doorbell and I wanted to get cameras outside, but I didn't get them because she didn't tell me I needed anything else. So, I wasn't prepared to pay anything. I missed out on a deal right because I had to have the money at that time. Also, I was getting ready to look online and see if I could find my account number because the gentleman gave me a brochure indicating how to function the keypad and that was it. I didn't get any papers from the technician saying that it was complete. He told me it would be emailed to me, but I still haven't found it.
I like the system but I only got a little bit of information. I don't know whether it was telling me that I had even had an option to do a voice command. I was gonna see if I could figure out how to do that but with the chirp in the keyboard, it was fine because my daughter is here and I added her to it. It would be excellent if I had the doorbell and my cameras but overall, ADT is good. I feel more secure in my home that I can leave because I do a lot of in and out of town. I have family there so I feel a bit more comfortable about that to where I believe that myself is secure. If somebody does break into my home, it alerts the dispatcher and then, they also get in contact with me. So, I'm cool with that.

ADT seemed to be the largest and I thought they had more to offer than some of their competitors. But when I got down to the package, I found out they didn't. When I talked to the salesperson, I was led to believe I'd have a thermostat I could manage and garage door. Also, when I did the sales thing, I was led to believe that they had everything on the truck and they could set anything up. But they never told me that the thermostat or the garage door wasn't part of the package yet. Now the tech said that it would be coming, but that was a little disappointing that sales side didn't explain it well enough.
But the installation was fine. The tech was really good, very personable, terrific, and on time. He got to his work, was very informative, and explained everything. I can do smart home all from one app. I'm hoping that ADT gets some other products online before the end of the quarter. I was surprised this morning that I got a low battery notification on my video doorbell after three weeks. That seemed odd.

They offered me quite a bit of additional credit on stuff but I did not receive all of it. I called to try and clarify it with customer service. They said, "We listened to the recording. This is what they said you'd get. You're getting more credit." So they came out and put more stuff in. My wife called to make an appointment and to get stuff done, they said, "Oh, no, you don't get any more credit." I got to listen to the recording thing, saying I had three days to cancel. I misunderstood the installers and thought I had 30 days. It was about seven days when I called to try and get out of it, told them we didn't want it and that was nixed. Overall, ADT absolutely sucks and I'm not very happy at all.

The workers were very good. They did what they needed to do and demonstrated the features in the system. I like my alarm keypad to set the alarm. However, I'm wondering does it ever go off when somebody pulls in the driveway or does it only work when I click on it and look at it.

The installation went fine. I just have to call them back so they can finish installing the security cameras they couldn't when they were originally here. I'm satisfied with my ADT security package. I like the app. It's very easy to use and very convenient. Being able to arm and disarm without being at the house is very nice. ADT is a good home security system if you need one.

My German Shepherd had a mean bite and a mean bark, and he was very protective. He was my watchdog, but I had to give him up because I fell and busted my humerus bone on my left shoulder. My arm has been in a sling since October 6th, and it's looking like it's gonna be quite a while longer before I get used to my left arm again. Meanwhile, I needed something to make sure that my home was secure and I decided to get ADT. The sales rep was very cordial, friendly, and efficient. He did a great job installing everything and did everything that I asked him to do.
The system is doing an effective job of taking the place of my German Shepherd. Setting it up is very simple and I'm getting used to it. One time, I forgot to turn it off. I had to move my car and I went out of the garage and opened the garage door. It set the alarm off and I didn't know. ADT called me when I was at my car and said, “Are you okay?” I told them that I was putting my car out in the driveway and that I forgot to turn my alarm off, but everything was fine.

We had a different company and their rates were getting way too high. So, we looked online and found ADT. They did a good job when they’d come to set it up. We called and my wife talked to a guy. They set everything up, and then they sent a guy out, and he put everything in. We had a little problem because the motion sensor in the garage didn't work. So, I called them and they sent a guy out and he fixed it.
The only problem I had is there’s supposed to be a $100 debit card that they send you when you're a new customer. I clicked on the link that they first sent to me, tried to open it up, and then I filled everything out on the first page, and I clicked to go to the next page to fill that out to get the debit card, and nothing would pop up. So, I lost it all. I called them twice back because it wouldn't go through on it. I finally called them and I sent them a note today and told them, “I want my $100 debit card.” They said, “Well, that’s a separate vendor.” I said, “Well, send me the code again so I can try it again.” They never sent me the code again. So, they still owe me 100 bucks. As far as the system's functionality and features, they're excellent. It works well. Once we got that one sensor in the garage fixed, everything seems to be working fine. I like the system.

While we were planning to get the ADT system, they said because we were returning customers, it was gonna be 19.99 per month for 1 year. The rep was good. I told them how many doors and rooms I have. They said it was just $100 that I had to pay. But when they came, they showed every single thing and the price was different for monthly for the total equipment. That was kind of frustrating. It doesn't look good if a person is at your home then you say, "Sorry, it's too much for us to pay." We also didn't want to embarrass the guy that came for our service so we did it that day. It took a lot of time to decide and minimize the stuff. It was not only 100 that we had to pay. We paid more than 400 that we have to finish in four installments. They also said they were gonna give me a $100 gift card but there was nothing like that. Other than those, the service is good. It's kind of little peace of mind.

First of all I saw an ad online for ADT to come and get a security system set-up for free. It was their pulse service. It ended up costing me $2500.00 on top of that $62.00 a month for it to work. After the first week I started having problems with their devices not working. They sent a person out here and they told me that they don’t work for ADT they work for another company the guy said I should get away from ADT and recommended that I find a different company that does a better job. I ended up speaking to several different ADT representatives and got different answers from the same questions.
It really pissed me off how they were lying to me and they had a 6 month money back guarantee, and they wouldn’t give me my money back. So doing a lot of research about them I found out this has been going on for years and it has pissed several different customers off. I think ADT is full of **, especially since I have unhooked my device and they haven’t said anything to me or even checked on me. So them saying they would watch my place make sure it's safe and secure obviously is totally the opposite. They should give me my money back and everyone else whom they have screwed over and lied to!

The rep explained to me and my family very well how the system of ADT works. I have the smartphone app. It could be connected to my house and it works pretty well. Everything's good with ADT but they couldn't discount my doorbell.

The young lady who called me back had excellent customer service. The features in my package were good and I like them. But ADT has to give the information upfront. At the time, I didn't have anybody to explain it to me but I got somebody to do that and since I finally understand them, it’s been good. My neighborhood is okay but we feel secure. I would tell friends and family members to go with ADT.

The ADT representative didn't explain everything correctly. She actually went and got her supervisor. Her supervisor spoke to me and said that I was gonna get a little more equipment credit where I could get all the equipment to cover my home. That should cover my expenses and everything I needed. I paid the $100 installation fee. But once the installer got out here, it was nothing like I was told.
I was told that I should be able to get the basic fee of 27.99 a month and get the sensors in. But the installer said that it was gonna be at least 49 a month and I was not gonna be able to get sensors on every window and I was gonna have to pay a 299 equipment upgrade fee. I wasn't told about that fee. Now, they are saying that they are going to give me a $100 card or something, but they added an extra cost.
I had to speak with my fiance about the additional fee and the installer said to let him know when I'd wanna reschedule. He also made me sign some documents on his tablet. So the installation has been rescheduled and the equipment is sitting on my table and not hooked up. The installer was pretty reasonable and straightforward with me. He was pretty much trying to work it out. I don't have that 299 right now. He would let me speak with his supervisor and he started giving me options. This was my first time ever to get security equipment and an alarm system and it made me feel funny. I may as well buy the system out of Walmart and put them on my own if I'm gonna go through that experience.

The sales representative was fine. The only problem that I have was that they weren't able to hook up my cameras because they said my internet speed was too slow. It's kind of a disappointment because I really wanted the camera with them instead of anybody else. They said they were going to install a doorbell camera and a regular camera. I paid 800 for it, and then I got another 800 I was gonna pay on February 3rd. But I don't know if I'll be able to get a discount from anybody.

I have had ADT years ago. This time, I found them again and filled out the information. Somebody contacted me from it and there were some things that I didn't care for. They told me that I was going to get a free camera and I didn't get a free camera. The camera was free, but then it was something to do with the service for it. They also told me that the bill was going to be 27.99 for monitoring, but when the installer came, he told me that that was only if I had a landline. Hardly anybody's got a landline anymore. I have to pay 58 a month now and I'm very dissatisfied with that.
I was very upset and agitated with the misleading sales representative. On the other hand, the gentleman that came out to do the install did well. He was very nice, well-mannered and polite, and when it came time to download the app and going through some of the features, he was very helpful with it. The system seems to be working well too. My wife recently passed away, and she was the breadwinner. I stayed at home, so the house was hardly ever unattended. Now, I live here alone. Since she passed away and I went back to work, I feel so much more at ease with the security system on my home.

The first representative that I talked to over the phone was absolutely wonderful. He was engaging and he found something common between us. Then he referred me to his manager, Chris. Chris was great as well. I was very excited about ADT at that time. I wanted to get the Smart Home package. They gave me a lot of equipment options and additional money for the equipment that I could use. My error in judgment and not knowing is that I probably should have written all that down. But that call was great.
Jeremiah came out. My initial impression of him was he was very nice. I requested that if he could come after a certain time, and they told me that I had a window. But I asked if they could make sure that he will come because I did not know exactly what my early morning was gonna be like. He came early. But he didn’t mind waiting. He sat in the car and then he came back. He was a very polite young man.
I could not remember what exactly all that was given to me over the phone. But I knew from what I was described that I didn't really need additional equipment. The only thing additional I would have needed would have been the camera. Jeremiah said that I have a great package and he never seen it. But then when he started giving me the sales pitch, and nothing I wanted was there, and it was confusing. So I asked him if he could show me what I got. But he said he couldn’t and that there was no way to do that. All he knew was how much money I had to use for equipment. I didn't get that it was just an amount for equipment. I thought that he was already briefed or would have had the items that was supposed to have been allocated towards me and my package.
From that, if I wanted something additional to the package, then that would have been allocated for me through that, and I could pay for it. But everything I wanted seemed like it wasn't in the package. He said the doors would be covered. But I wanted windows, and he said, “Well, that would be this, this, and that.” I wanted the doorbell camera. But everything I wanted, I had to pay for.
Long story short, I told Jeremiah what I wanted for my home. First, he said it was a $5,000 package that I wanted but he could get it to 2,000. He said he could not go further. I had to pay that that day. So I paid the 2,000 that day, which I shouldn’t have. I should have checked with my husband first because I’m still getting the 59.99. My mom was here at the time and we were having some medical issues. I didn't know that he could install it right then and there. I asked him if he could come back on tomorrow or whenever his first availability so he could install the equipment. But he said no. So he put it in the wall. But I didn't know if I wanted it there yet. He said, “Well, it needs to be near a plug, and people put it in the hallway or somewhere else.” So I went on and let him put it in the wall. I needed him to come back but he didn’t, and that was my fault. I am an adult, and I could have said no.
When Jeremiah left, I didn’t get a contract. He told me they were gonna email it to me. But I did not get an email. I didn’t have anything on paper. It didn't feel right to me. I told my husband about it and he was like, “2,000? Well, what did you get?” I couldn’t even tell him. I told him I got the pad that’s on the wall. He said, “Didn’t that come with it?” I was like, “Yeah. It did come with it.” My husband came home and I called ADT. I spoke with a Josh and he told me, “No problem. You can get your money back. All you need to do is let your technician know when he comes back out, and it would be no problem.” Josh told me that it would be 299. My husband why was it 299 and he said it was because of the upgraded pad. But it was the same pad that they put in. I was so exhausted. He also said that 299 is better than 2,000.
When the technician came back out, he told me that he could take that equipment with him, but he could not reimburse me. He said another technician was gonna have to come back, get the equipment, and then we would have to go from there. I was on the phone an hour and 22 minutes and dealing again with ADT. It seems like the right hand didn't know what the left hand was doing. When you call, no one can answer your questions. They give you the runaround, and then they make it up as they go.
At the end of the day, I talked to several people and I got all their names. Michael was the one that I really thought that was on the up and up. Before I spoke with Michael, a young lady named Tina told me that I got this lamp assistance and that I was gonna have to pay 499 for that. I did not know that there was an additional videoing charge for a camera. I was told that this was my 2,000, and this was what I could keep. But she told me no. When I talked with Michael, he said I didn’t owe anything. He said he was gonna send a tech out to get the equipment. He repeated the equipment I told him. He seemed to have been very sincere. He gave me some peace of mind for that minute.
The technician came out the next day but he didn’t have a clue on why he was there. He thought he was getting it off the wall. He told me he didn't do this. I had to call again. His boss called the technician. He had an attitude and then, asked me for my code. I told him, “You deal with ADT. Don't you have a code that can override this, to do your function? Why do you need my code?” But he needed my code, or he couldn't get in. It was so apprehensive and uncomfortable. From that point, I called again, trying to get my money. Instead of getting my 2,000, I got 1,500. I’m not even comfortable if my alarm goes off that it’s gonna be monitored well. My mom and pop has better services than this. This is crazy. I have no contract to this day. I have been asking and I have given my email three times.

I worked for Spectrum and it was preferred for my employer. I had the system installed and the guy who came was okay. But I have some questions because when I originally signed up, I was told that my services would be 27.99 and that I would get certain things like some type of keychain or key fob for me to keep on my keys when I come home at night. I didn't receive that and my bill is 58. Other than that, everything went okay.

ADT made signup easy and I'm happy with everything. There were tons of different options and the technician definitely was not pushy at all. He was helpful and super friendly. He went over everything and answered all my questions. I said what was important to me, what wasn't and got everything set up. The technician tested out the system and demonstrated everything. He was great. All in all, everything was professional. They got things done quickly and it was everything I was looking for. The system is working the way it's supposed to as well. It's important to have a home security system. We were on the top floor of an apartment complex before and we got it because we moved into a house. It feels a lot more secure.

The installation took a while 'cause it was a lot to do. But other than that, everything was done well. The guy was very friendly and very professional. The doorbell camera was recording, but the front and the back cameras were not. Someone called me and we worked it out over the phone. Now, the only thing I have a problem with is the cameras are supposed to record up to 22 minutes but they're only recording 30 seconds. In 30 seconds, it shows somebody going to the backyard but it doesn’t show anything else.

I chose ADT for their ratings and dealing with the sales agent went well. The installation was rushed though because I had another appointment I had to go to and I noticed recently that one of the sensors was not placed on one of the windows. Still, now that I have the system in my home, I feel safe and I would recommend it.

The ADT sales representative was fine and I was informed of all the promotions and how the system would work. The installation team was only one person. It probably should have been more than one because he was here for almost five hours. It was after 11 o'clock, which I really thought was too late to be here and he should have come back the next morning ‘cause I was exhausted. He tried to put the new system in the same location as my old system and he had challenges with that.
In the end, the system did power up. But within 10 hours, the power line that the guy was trying to use did not support the new system. So I didn't have any type of monitoring from that Friday until Tuesday when a new technician had to come and correct the errors. Other than that, I’m satisfied with the system. I like the front and back cameras, the touchscreen technology, and the app as well. I had the alarm system from a company for several years, so it was nice to get those upgrades from ADT.

ADT makes it really difficult to cancel account, they do not provide cancellation mail and continue to send bills for next months. Call hold time is 2-8 hrs. Problem Date: from Oct 2020 through Jan 2021, Purchase Date: March 2014, Model Number: ADT home security, includes 12 sensors on doors and windows, and security panel, Account number: ********, Sales Rep: called account team 866-656-8883; 800-662-5378.
Details: I got ADT security service installed at my house in March 2014 for 3 years contract for $45/month. After that they increased the fees to $50 and then after negotiations it was changed to $30, and slowly it started increasing again. So I called them in Oct 2020 to cancel, and they mentioned that ADT service cannot be cancelled online, and only special accounts team can cancel the account. Regular customer service cannot cancel the service. They forwarded the call to accounts team and it was on hold for almost 4 hours.
I gave up, and then called them again in Nov 2021. Finally I was able to reach to accounts team after a long hold in hours. They said it will be cancelled after one billing cycle. ADT billed me for Dec 2020, and it was auto pay from credit card. In Jan first week, I got paper bill for Jan month ($39.25) and some previous balance and adjustments without any explanation, total bill was for $28.09. Again I called customer service, they forwarded it to accounts team, it was on hold from 9 am till 4 pm (literally), I gave up for that day. I called them again on next day and was able to reach them. They mentioned that I never called them to cancel the account, that call was to cancel the autopay (??). Why would I call them to cancel the autopay? This time they said the account will be cancelled after 1 billing cycle. I had heated arguments with the accounts team and she did made fun of my accent and said she cannot understand it.
Next day early morning 3am, the security alarm started, and I got miss call from ADT as well. I called them back, they said one of the sensor has been tampered but they could not specify which sensor it was. This was never happened in last 7 years. They dispatched cops, cop arrived within 2 min, knocked our door, we were already scared, offered to look at backyard on and said everything was cleared. Cop did mentioned about ADT's wrong alarm calls. I do think that they deliberately did this, there was no windy day all sensors were intact. This was kind of harassments ADT has been doing to us. I have no evidence that ADT did it deliberately but since it never happened before and false alarm raised on the same day I had heated arguments with them. This was 5th Jan, so it should be only for Jan Month.
Again next day I called them early morning to confirm to verify if it is really cancelled. They said there is NO cancellation on file yet. Accounts team mentioned some weird reason and this time they said the account will be cancelled, and provided cancellation number ******. On 19 Jan 2021, I again received bill for Feb 2021 (period Feb1-Feb28). I called them again and they said it will be cancelled after a billing cycle. They do not provide any confirmation mail. I am ADT's customer from last 7 years and they are treating me REALLY bad, the billing amount is not a concern, their practice is very unethical. I am still not sure if the service will be cancelled or not. If you are in the market, do not go with ADT.

My house was broken into and I had always watched the ADT commercials, so I chose to go with them. I love the system. I had ordered the cameras because they said it was free if I run my credit. But the tech said it wasn’t on there, so I had to redo the order. So they'd be coming out to put the cameras on in a few days.

I was dissatisfied with the provider I had and I changed to ADT. The gentleman who did the installation was very proficient and gave me all my options. He was good. He set up my phones and took us over to the monitoring system where you set it up. He walked us through how to do certain things and showed me how to put your codes in there and different things you can do with it. Some are very simple although when you get into zones and bypassing this and that, it could get confusing at times. But the system has worked well and I only need to find out the process when you test your alarm.

I thought ADT was gonna be better than everything, but I'm very dissatisfied. The touchscreen monitor had stopped working. I can't put my password in or I can't touch the touchscreen. I don't think that it's safe because they didn't even know that it was broken, or they didn't even call and tell me, "Your machine is broken." I reached out to them last Sunday. They told me they were gonna have somebody come here. They told me no less than 24 hours somebody will contact me. But they didn't call me.

The sales agent of ADT was very nice. He explained everything very well what was going to happen. He came in to set up the appointment. Everything went fine. The installation experience was good although I was expecting installation between one hour and a half and he took about five hours. It was a long time. But the system is very easy and friendly. Its features are nice as well. Definitely, I feel more secure now that I have the system.

Some sketchy dealers; questionable sales techniques; watch your paperwork; good monitoring; good equipment choices; high side monitoring prices & install pricing; hardline pricing and difficult to adjust pricing as ADT will then say, you contracted with a local “franchise”, which all are. An attempt to pass off responsibility for errors, but no disclosure on front end. BTW, their equipment is proprietary & unusable by itself so you can invest several hundred dollars or more, to be left with useless equipment if you decide to leave ADT for non-performance or misrepresentation.

I see the ADT sign when I go past by people's homes. I also see commercials saying that ADT is the best at what they're doing. So, I figured ADT is the way to go. The gentleman that came was very thorough with the knowledge as far as what ADT had to offer, and what he felt was needed. He was good. I kind of changed what I wanted last minute, but he didn't have a hard time changing it after he already had it installed. He went with the flow. He was laid back and pleasant. I didn't know ADT put up a smoke detector, that the property didn’t come with it. I didn’t know they carry locks to change locks because I needed locks changed. But the tech had everything I needed, and I didn’t think it would get done. The only thing I didn’t get was any stickers. He had stickers. He didn’t have the little thing you stick in the grass so those who come onto the property see it and will think twice before doing something foolish. Other than that, I like the features.

My homeowners insurance suggested ADT as I would get a homeowners’ discount on my insurance with them. ADT was very good. They're very professional, especially Peter, the gentleman that came out and installed it. He also was very helpful, very understanding, and explained things very simply. That was appreciated. The ADT guy was very nice but it took him 12 hours to install three cameras, one smoke detector, and two glass breakers in the house. We had to completely cancel our dinner plans. We had him scheduled to come out between 8:00 and 9:00 in the morning. He got here at 8:30 and did not leave our house until 9 o'clock that night. We felt bad because he had not eaten or drunk anything. We were giving him stuff to drink throughout the day and we even ordered pizza and sent him home with pizza. So, as far as the guy himself, he was nice but absolutely ridiculous to take 12 hours to install that little bit of equipment. Then one of the cameras didn't work. We couldn't have him adjust it. It was a nightmare.
The price of the equipment is ridiculous. What we were looking for in our house was gonna cost us $2,300 out of pocket. We spent over an hour asking the guy what all the different prices of all the options were. It was a very aggravating process because people would wanna get to the point of how much it was gonna cost out of pocket, what we were gonna get, and what the quality of these cameras would be until after installation.
The whole time, even when I called just to get services going, it was like this big game everybody was playing. ADT may tell us that they are getting us free equipment, we're still paying for it in the end. They're not really doing us a favor. There is no company that is gonna give us over $2,000 in free equipment. Also, you can't get straight answers until you finally get somebody out here to sit down and go over everything for two hours and then to find out it's $2,300 out of pocket.
I already paid 700 out of pocket plus I was getting locked into a three-year contract and paying $60 a month for monitoring. The cameras were not where we wanted. They were not of good quality and it didn't cover the areas that we needed them to cover. So once I had already spent over 12 hours with the technician that Friday, I called ADT on Saturday to cancel it. I got transferred three times. So when I finally got to the right person, I was aggravated.
As far as the representative when I called, he had an attitude with me and told me that he could end the call if I wasn't happy with what he was telling me. My paperwork said to either call the number or mail something in. I was asking what I was supposed to mail in. Then he said that he was trying to tell me, but I wouldn't let him. The date that was on our paperwork wasn't even the three business days to cancel. It was only two business days 'cause the technician was here all day, Friday. So, business days would have been Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. They had the end of Tuesday as our date. To make sure that it got there on time, I paid $26 to mail it there overnight and have somebody sign it. It was a real hassle. For the amount of money and aggravation that we went through, we went ahead and bought our own cameras. We're gonna install them ourselves once the equipment has been taken down.

When I first signed up for ADT to make my appointment for them to come, I had to call and cancel because we had COVID in the house. I was trying to get ahold of somebody and each person I talked to said that I had to speak to this person. 45 minutes later, I finally got to speak to the right person, but then the phone went blank. The guy ended up showing up and we couldn’t let him in. But for 45 minutes trying to get someone just to cancel my appointment was a bit much. They should make sure their customers have the correct number for the correct district for their area. All I had was the 1-800 number and that was why I got passed around. Nonetheless, ADT was really good.

Our experience with ADT has been good. It's taken us a while to get used to the system though. I am also having trouble with one of my doors. It keeps saying, “Laundry room door fault.” Then, I gotta open and close it several times to get it to work right. It won’t let me arm the system because it's not working right. I also thought that they should have provided me with some windows stickers or a little sign to put out front that says, “Protected by ADT.” But they didn't do that. But in general, I'm satisfied with ADT. It's relatively simple.

First off, the bill has taken months to get right, second, the salesman Chris lied. He had his son in law install Lifetime Battery Smoke Detectors, 8 months later when the batteries started to fail, I found he used velcro to attach them to the ceiling, actually covering the batt cover making it impossible to fix. He was not an employee of ADT.

I got an email with an offer and then, I got terrible customer service, so I cancelled. The installer was part of the problem because he never cared enough to get my personal email correctly so that he could get the contract to me. Nobody ever provided the contract and I wasted a whole lot of time trying to get him to respond and getting the phone number for ADT, and waiting on hold for somebody to provide me something that should have been given to me from the very beginning.

If I could give zero stars I would. I bought a system 2 months ago and it is still not installed. I have tried to cancel and they are trying to hold me to a contract that they never fulfilled. There answer is that they can send another installer and give me an $89 credit. Horrible customer service.

ADT has protected me and my home for over 10 years with no problems. The price is reasonable, the callers are concerned and knowledgeable, the hardware is durable. My biggest problem is forgetting to turn the system off when I go outside.

Mike did good. He worked continuously and he demonstrated the system. I'm used to it now. I have a Peeping Tom and I haven't had it now since this was put in. My next door neighbor, Ann, recommended ADT to me and Mike said that she would be getting a gift. Ann said I would feel safer. It took a little while and then I did.

I had ADT years ago, and I figured a change in equipment. We changed and utilized Comcast, but I did not like their service because it always seemed to fail. So, I decided to come back to ADT and give it another shot. The customer service didn't try to oversell one product. I got what I needed and I felt as though it's a good system. Then I felt comfortable with the installation. The guy wore his mask the entire time, very personable, wore shoe coverings in the house, removed old Comcast items, and removed the old ADT box that was in there, showed me how to work the system, and gave me a nice overview. We actually went live that day, so it worked out.
I had an issue where the doorbell camera wasn't working properly. He told me to just bear with him for a couple of days and he'd come out in his first half-day off. He came and fixed it. I'd be willing to add more pieces along the way, like the carbon monoxide detectors and things of that nature. I'm still learning it, but it seems to be working perfectly.

ADT sent out a flyer about the 27.99 a month package, which I assumed included the camera, and I was told by their rep that he’ll make sure the camera would be included. The salesperson over the phone was cool and very nice. He was a really good representative. I was told that my card won't get charged for the installation until the installer comes out and if I don't get the system installed after they do their computation, then they won't charge my card. So I put my card on file and the rep said if I don't go through with their appointment, I can cancel out beforehand and it still won't get charged.
I signed up and when the installer came out, I asked him about the installation and if I got charged already. He said my card has already been charged. I didn't think too much of it and I got the system installed but it was a little bit misleading. Also, on top of the $100 installation, I had to pay for whatever package I get to put in the home and the first month's bill that same day. I assumed everything that I wanted would be for 27.99 and that wasn't the case. But I went ahead and made some arrangements to pay those. Other than that, everything's good. I would recommend ADT to anybody.

ADT has been in the business for a long time and when I picked their system up, they had a promo. The guy who set it up was really very good. In just a few minutes after he came, one of the quality control people came over to check that the work is up to par. He first presented the whole package and what different options we have based on what we need and what budget we have. He explained pretty much also the software, what are the options. Since we're new, sometimes we forget to arm or disarm. Before he left, he made sure that we are able to do those on our phones. So overall, I'm satisfied with the person that came and with the service. They’re always nice. It has been just less than a month and so far, we're okay.

We were thinking about getting a security system and we were going to get just a doorbell cam and the Alexa. Then I saw ADT and I talked to the guy over the phone. He didn't really have a lot of knowledge but we went with it in the end because the guy was already out here. We also had second thoughts because the ad misrepresented itself and that was a big turnoff. The plan cost more than we thought because we were supposed to get seven sensors according to the ad and if we took a certain plan, then we would get the doorbell cam for free.
And the guy said there was no way he could waiver that. So, he said that the 299 had to go in there. We got two extra cameras that we were going to add on as well but we didn't get our seven sensors. We had to pay for one of our windows, so we didn't even do the rest of the house because it was going to be almost two grand. We were unhappy about that and we almost changed our mind. We're in a contract now, so when our contract is up, we may look to go elsewhere. But as far as the guy was concerned, his friendliness was great and it was not his fault. That falls back on the company of what he was not allowed to do. He said that just gets him in the door so then that he could sell the stuff as advertising. And I believe that because I was in retail for many years and people would put an advertisement together to make it very appealing and it would get them in the door.
Other than that, I stay here by myself a lot and when my son and my husband are working, it's just me or me and my grandbaby, and I feel better having something. So far, the functionality of the system has been good, except for the one sensor on the sliding glass door in the back. It keeps doing something funky. It'd beep when they close the door. It'd be a loud beep but not the alarm and not the normal chime. And it goes red with a circly thing on our scan, and it'd say, “Check sensor. Check sensor.” I'd have to go over there and disarm, then go back. But nobody calls and it's a little irritating.

ADT has been known to me. My neighbors have it and it was time to do something and have a professional system, so we did it. We got the cameras and the motion. We got everything that was offered and available. Mike, the salesman, is an asset to their company. He was excellent, outstanding, professional, friendly, courteous and helpful. Not sure if ADT even gets our alerts. We had a house alarm going off but we did not know if it was fire somewhere or the carbon monoxide alarm. This was at 1:30 am. ADT did not call us. We called the fire department and they told us it is the carbon monoxide alert.

So far, what I like the most is the ease of bypassing different areas or zones. If you want to leave a window open at night, it's very easy to go and bypass that one window. I went with ADT for their reputation and I was aware of the company from years and years of seeing their signs and the commercials.

The pricing and the name recognition made me decide to go with ADT. I felt good with their rep over the phone and the technician. They did a good job of getting the system installed and showing me what I needed to do. I like the feature of being able to arm and disarm the system with the app and not be at the property. When I wanted ADT put in, I just called up someone. He was nice. Even that little guy that came and put the equipment in, I felt like I’ve known him all my life, and he was way younger than I was. I didn’t want him to go. He explained everything to me. The reason I got it was I saw that 29.99 in the paper. Then I paid $103 off my card that day I signed up and Dwayne came by. I also paid 39.99 off my card but I didn't get window sensors maybe because I didn't have internet and computer. But I have three doors, so he put up the alarm on the two doors. I'm intending to call ADT today because I'm wondering if my bill will still be 39.99 a month.

I called ADT to get a quick quote and ended up on the phone for longer than I really wanted. The lady I spoke with was nice but she would not give me prices over the phone without somebody coming to the house. The sales tactic was whenever I told her that I wanted to talk to my wife first, she switched. She would put me on hold then her manager would be on the phone to keep the conversation going and to get the technician here. It wasn't anything bad and it was fine. I was offered all kinds of stuff.
When the technician came out, I was already pretty much interested in buying a home security system anyway so I got it. The guy was great. He answered all the questions and was upfront. He didn't try to sell me anything extra. I was upfront with him too and told him from the beginning that I was looking for bottom dollar. I wasn't looking to spend a whole bunch. For ADT purposes, he had to cover everything and he showed me one thing. In the end, I'm satisfied. I got everything that I asked for.
Everything so far has been good. The only thing that I wish that would have been included was the outdoor siren. The guy offered it to me but I did not get that because I was trying to get my costs down into my budget. Aside from doing away with the siren, I also had to take one window sensor off. It was a small window and one that I wasn't worried about somebody climbing into. With the system, I feel more secure is when I'm not home. I live in the woods and I'm already secure. But when I'm not home, it's nice to know that if somebody tries to get in, I would know instantly with the app on my phone. That's good to know. I can also get on the phone and call my neighbors and get somebody here quicker than the police will get here.

I love ADT and my experience with them has been great. I've had them in the past and this time, I wasn't home during the installation, my son was, as I wasn't concerned about it. The security system is very easy to program and I like the bypassing when I just want to open window and keep my alarm on. It's a very simple system, that's why I went back with ADT.

The installer was great. He did his thing and it went wonderful. He was very informative and helpful, and everything worked. I did not have a problem. Five days after the original installation though, we had problems with the front camera. I would go to the app, hit retry and wait on it to refresh and it would come back online. Now nothing. I'm not a huge tech person, but I have done all of the troubleshooting that was provided. It was unplug the camera, wait 10 seconds, reset the router, so on and so forth. I've done everything and I still cannot get my front camera to come back online when I go to the ADT app to view.
The only thing I can think of is that this camera is defective, which is upsetting because we haven't even had this system a month. We didn't do a payment plan on any of the additional equipment we purchased. It was paid in full. My monthly monitoring charge has already come out of my account and I was trying to find online how to apply for the $100 visa gift card for connecting with the service and can't find anything. I went with ADT because of their reputation and what I thought to be the above and beyond customer service and satisfaction that they offered. At this point, I'm extremely frustrated.
I had a service call set up and no one showed up. No one called, emailed or texted. I called and was like, “Okay. He could see where I was coming from and offered me an additional discount and said that he personally would make sure everything was taken care of. I had to contact him and not to throw him under the bus, but it's been almost two weeks now.

Signing up with ADT was good. There was just a little bit of confusion on the end of the credit part of everything. I got an additional 1,100 that I didn't even get to utilize because it was almost like you had to spend money to utilize it, which was really weird to me. Over the phone, it was like peaches and cream and then, when the ADT guy got there, our total was a ridiculous number and I didn't plan on spending $1,500 that day.
When I spoke with the rep over the phone, I told him what I was looking for. Then, his manager got on the phone and he said that he was giving me a credit on top of what I already gave them of 1,100 and he said that it would take care of the outside cameras. But that was not the case. It wasn't gonna take care of the outside cameras. So, I ended up buying Ring cameras for me to be able to see outside and just doing an ADT for the perimeter part of everything.
Even when the tech was there, I was told that I have an additional 1,100 to spend. So I assumed that was what I had to spend. Then when he finished totaling up everything I wanted, it was 1,500 and something. So I asked about the 1,100 and he said that we would have to do several things to utilize 1,100. So I told him to give me the bare minimum and I ended up spending $100 and I was okay with that.
I like the system. But when I set everything up, I was under the assumption that my door, which the Z-Wave was going to be connected to the ADT system. That was partly why I did the smart plan. The manager said that they couldn't add it to the Smart Hub. The tech wasn't equipped to do it, so I would have to call over the phone and they'd have to walk me through it over the phone. But I've called twice and nobody has figured that part out yet. The one person that apparently could was not there for the week and they told me to call back. So, I'm still just working on that part.
We didn't get the sign. So I called in and the rep said that it was gonna take two weeks to get the sign. They should make it smooth where the customer wouldn't have to follow up on the things that they didn't get. But otherwise, the system has done everything that it’s supposed to do. The tech did what he was supposed to do. Also, the part of peace and security has been good. It's just that we have six basement windows and I wanted to know how much the glass breaker for the window downstairs would cost me.

The sales process was pretty well taken. When I was going to cancel everything and go with another company, I told them why and then they tried to sweeten the deal with ADT. The only thing we weren't comfortable with was the contract. One company didn’t have a contract, ADT does. Other than that, they cleaned up after themselves when they came to do the installation.

We had the installation of our ADT system and everything went well. The installer who came was Terrence. He was an awesome guy. I enjoyed him. He was very thorough, he did a really good job and was very knowledgeable. I did get a second keypad and it looked like there was something wrong with the battery for the keypad. Come to find out, the battery wasn't snapped all the way in. So, a technician came out this morning. He just troubleshoot it. Once he opened the back panel, he realized that the battery just wasn't fully seated. Everything's fully operational now. I'm totally happy with everything so far.
I love ADT. The key remotes are obsolete. They work well but if you have a smartphone, you really don't need the hardware. I do have them, but I just kind of put them in the drawer. I'm like, “Hey, I can just activate and deactivate from my smartphone.” It makes sense. Then that is one less thing you got dangling or in your pocket. So far, I'm well pleased with the system.

The whole neighborhood is changing. There’s a bunch of riffraff that has come around. Now that I have the security system from ADT, I don't have to worry too much about somebody getting in the house. ADT is a better company. They know what they're doing and they explain everything to you right up front. The guy was great on the installation. I just have a problem with my memory on shutting the thing off.

I had looked online at Ring doorbell, and all of a sudden, I got a phone call from ADT. I told them that I was interested, but I was leaving to go out of the country and to call me on such and such a date. They probably called me eight times while I was on my trip. I was like, “Listen, I'm out of the country. Please call me when I get back.” Everybody was very nice, but it just kept happening. The minute I walked into my house, I hadn't even brought my luggage in, and I got a call from them. I told the guy, “Listen, I literally just walked in my house, like literally just walked in.” He said, “Oh, I can wait.” I told him, “No. I really can't talk right now.”
I ended up talking to the guy who then passes me to another guy to give me more details to help me out. They gave me this really great package. It's gonna cost me $0. I get this, I get that. I said, “This is too good to be true.” The guy said, “Sally, we are a national company. We are all over the place. This is a recorded line. If I'm lying to you, you could sue us, blah, blah, blah.” Then, I said, “Well, fair enough. Yeah, that sounds good. Okay.”
I set up the appointment and waited for the guy to come. When the guy came, I ended up paying 300 and some dollars that day. I almost didn't do it. We talked for about two hours before I decided that I was gonna do it because I needed it. But that was a complete bait-and-switch, and I do plan on contacting an attorney today about it. I was lied to. I did put it on social media and had probably 15 people immediately message and say that the same thing happened to them, and not only that, but their rates changed over time.

I’ve had ADT for approximately 8 years and I find that it’s easier to keep than change. I’ve only recently started to get system analysis reports or I just started to pay attention to them. I do like that they send reminders to test your system to ensure it’s working properly. One thing I didn’t like was having to buy a battery I didn’t need which was pretty expensive. There was what appeared to be a yellow warning light and when I called technical they said it was the battery so I bought another.... It continued to happen so I called back and was told it was the portable alarm that you carry with you... Who knows???? I’ve been looking at others but have not committed to one!

I had a very good experience with ADT's installation team. So far, I love my system. I love the app to disarm and arm it. My mom was at my place yesterday and it was armed on "stay". She didn't know how to turn it off. I'm 300 miles away and I disarmed the system from my phone.

I first heard about ADT when my wife was switching the PG&E bill to our new address with the house we just purchased. And then, we got a mailer when we moved in, so I reached out to them following that. The people I spoke to on the phone initially were very helpful. The installer who came out was very professional and friendly. Those were all great.
However, be wary of a bit of a bait-and-switch. Sspeaking to them on the phone to get an idea of how much everything would cost, they gave me some ideas what it would be. But they kept saying that they couldn't give me an exact number. And that the installers they wanted to book an appointment for would be able to talk specifics of the numbers with me. So when that installer came out, the installation costs significantly increased, and not everything lined up with what I was told on the phone. But it was more of a psychological sort of he was here ready to install it, so it was more difficult to say no at that point.

The sales reps and guys that came out to install stuff were good. I was having lots of complications though throughout the past few weeks with my security system of cameras not working and people blaming the Spectrum internet and then Spectrum blaming ADT. It was a big mess. People couldn't help me out and tell me what was going on. One person told me something that was completely wrong. The other guy said no. It seemed like miscommunication was going back and forth. It was a good four weeks for that to be sorted out and I finally got cameras working. I'm getting happy now that I have cameras working that haven't dropped ADT signals. So far, I'm still happy with the service. It just took a long time to get here of being happy with it.

I went online 'cause I'm having an issue with the camera. It's kicking me out. It isn't snapshotting pictures. It's very important that they capture everything. I can't have lags in the system. I had a technician here today and I'm still communicating with him about something so I'm waiting for him to get back to me. They brought a device today but I don’t know if I’d be getting something else. He's gonna call me back and clarify 'cause I thought I was gonna get a separate monitor that could be moved from room to room aside from whatever it was that he installed but we didn't. What if you're busy working on the cell phone and doing something and you wanna look up at the monitor? I wanted another option. I don't know if there was miscommunication between me and the rep I spoke to last night on the phone or maybe me and the technician. When he came in, I was busy working. My daughter was trying to assist them so I didn't see what I was supposed to get.

Everything went great with ADT. Their reps and their installer were pretty helpful. The installer should me how to use the system and the app. He did the walk-around of the house to let me know where the entry points would be. He also told me where would be the most efficient spot to put the sensors and the motion detectors. I enjoy that when I leave the house, I can set the app to say “Hey, I'm a mile away from the house. You want to activate your system.” And it sends me a notification that tells me to activate the system if I forget to activate it. The only issue I had was that I never got an update of the contract. I have called two times to ask them for it and they said it usually takes a bit of time to finalize the contract once the actual system is installed.

The gentleman that helped us came in the evening and put together a plan that my wife and I both were satisfied with. Anything that he did, he followed up. He made sure that we had gotten the best options. When he couldn't do anything or couldn't accommodate us in one way, he made up for it in another way. He came back the following day to finish the job. He had to call a teammate for something that he didn't know because he had only been with the company for a month. I couldn't tell because he seemed like he was very knowledgeable about everything. Whoever trained him, kudos to them as well.
But they couldn't resolve the issue themselves. They were able to contact someone to resolve the issue. They did an amazing job getting our system up and running. My hats off to ADT. Their rates are a lot better. The customer service gives advice. Just all of the above, outstanding services. They should have a lot more customers than they have now. I should have made the switch a long time ago.

When I got my ADT system, I was gutting the house I just purchased. I said, "If I sign for it, can you come back and install things? Because doors are being ripped off." The salesman said that he had to install things then. He did that and sure enough, we knocked off one of those things he installed. I had to call ADT and a lady rep had to explain how to reset everything. Also, I thought I was going to get a camera outside but that didn't happen. Other than that, my experience has been all right so far.

When I called into the call center, they told me about their product and described it pretty well. I have no idea even how to use the equipment yet. The technician that was on-site told me I have to call some other person to help me set up the system. So it's still not fully operational.

I set up my internet then I was told to hold on the phone because I got a deal with ADT and I purchased it. Everybody was super professional, gave me lots of information, and explained a lot of things to me. I was just a little shocked at the end when I ended up paying $540 for everything. But then, I talked to customer service and we worked it out. Everybody there had been helpful. It was a good bang-for-the-buck and well worth it. I love my cameras. I like the alarm system and I'm extremely happy with it. Before, I never worry about deadbolts. But now, it's second-nature to me to turn my alarm on and just make me feel safe.

When I spoke with someone over the phone, I was under the impression that the $102 I paid to ADT was going to be pretty much all I’d be out of at the time. But when the person came out, I ended up having to pay for the equipment with a discounted price, then for the first month monitoring. That was unexpected but it was not a problem. Maybe I just misunderstood or I didn't catch that when I was setting things up with them.
Also, when I was on the phone with the individual setting up initially, they said nothing about a $100 Visa gift card. But when I heard some recorded disclaimer they did with the setup, they mentioned the $100 prepaid gift card from Visa. And when I talked to the representative that installed all the equipment here, he said that would be sent to me in the mail. So, there were little misses here and there, that could have been totally my fault, but other than that, everything's great. We love the keypad and the door locks. Plus, the girls love those little apps on their phone where they can control the door locks. So, we're satisfied.

I got the ADT security system because there was a break in not far from me. They did a fairly good job of explaining some things but they could not explain to me how would the system be connected to the monitoring center. Once the installer arrived, everything was explained. But the price increased when the installer came out. There was an additional charge for having a cellular system versus the fact that I did not have a landline. What was supposed to be $27 a month for monitoring turned out to be $38. I consider that bait and switch and no one likes that. They definitely need to improve on informing the customer about what the charges will be.
It didn't stop me from keeping the system because I did need a system. Also, the fact that it had already been installed by the time I was informed of the additional charge persuaded me to go ahead and keep it. But the actual installation went good. The installer was knowledgeable, did a fairly quick job, informed me of everything that I needed to know about the system and had me go through some exercises to make sure I didn't have any questions about the overall system.

I was gonna go with Simplisafe as ADT was priced a lot higher. I saw an Instagram post for Protect Your Home and advertised not paying for installation and free offer of equipment. When I called, the sales rep was really nice. I had another offer from an ADT vendor who was offering $55 a month with the digital keypad. I talked to my rep about that and how the other vendor was offering $1800 worth of equipment. She said they could easily match that plus give a $100 gift card to compensate for installation fees. All was good and we agreed and scheduled.
I have full protection credit blocks on my credit, so I had to lift them so that they could do the softpull. But then, when it came time for the installation, the tech was not getting approval for what the offer that was made to me. He worked really hard, called the regional and a lot of different people. When it all came down to us, he rescheduled us for the following week. When it came down to the reschedule, he was still not getting approval to grant me the offer that was initially made to me by the sales rep. He got scheduled to come pick up the equipment that he installed in the first visit. It was fine as Brian was just a tech at the end of the day so I did not vent any frustrations to him. He was very helpful, patient and respectful of my house. He did everything quickly.
I called ADT's corporate offices to share my concerns about a bait and switch and me wanting to solidify protecting my home with my family in it. I got on the phone with a manager and he rectified the situation. I had to pay on my credit card and he refunded whatever payments I made to maintain that I wasn't paying anything for the equipment.
At this time, everything's okay. It just kind of stunk that I had to make phone calls and worry about not getting the initial offer that was made. That has to be addressed internally. I picked ADT's offer over another offer, and cancelled that offer. I spent time really concerned that I was going to not have any offers on the table and have to wind up paying a lot out of pocket. Other than the internal miscommunication, the situation got rectified and I'm satisfied with ADT.

When I first called ADT, they told me it was gonna be $100 fee for the installation and that was fine. But they said that the guy at the house couldn’t collect any other money besides that. The bill for the installation got paid already, and they took the monthly payment and another $31 for the extra stuff that was added. But I didn't know there were other extra stuff that was added.
When I talked to them, I told them I wanted a video camera for my front door and I specifically asked if somebody can put that in. They said yes, there was. But they said they have to call an electrician to have that done. I was okay with that. But we still don't have a video camera for the front door. Then they said I can buy it out there. So it was kind of frustrating that I made sure I asked all those question I needed before I had the guys come in. But I do like the system and the service that they provide. It's just that when everything was changed, I would have preferred a heads up before it was changed. I wasn't comfortable that it was changed in the last minute.

My sister talked me into getting an ADT system and I'm not super happy with it at the moment. One of the sensors broke, so the whole thing is screaming at me all the time. The hard sell on the sale side was a little off-putting, too. They could explain the price a little better. At the very beginning, I told them that I was concerned about the price and about the contract. Then it was not until the installation guy came out that I was informed that the offer was not even available. They said they couldn't give the price that I was given earlier without special circumstances. So, the whole thing has not been ideal and it left me feeling like I was lied to.
If there is just one price, they should say that upfront. I could have said very easily at the beginning that that was beyond my budget. But they made it seem like it was going to be no problem at all and that I was going to get all of these services at this one price. Also, the contract of three years is way too long. There are all these competitors out now and to stay competitive, ADT has to be a little more flexible with people.

Andrew was very good and thorough. I wanted a camera, if possible, but I had a metal shell on my building. The siding is metal, and they just could not get a good enough signal to operate a camera. So, he made a number of phone calls to his supervisors and other people at ADT to make sure that that was not going to be feasible. It turned out that it wasn't. ADT does not do direct wiring of cameras. They use a remote with Wi-Fi and it just didn’t have a good enough signal. But we went ahead and put in a couple of door sensors and motion detector. I was very happy with Andrew as an installer and as a representative of ADT. He did a great job. I'm very happy with my whole experience.

He also made sure I had the app before he left. The installation was very smooth. ADT gets a lot of credit for hiring those gentlemen. They're very good at what they do. I like that by having the system, I have an extra set of eyes and ears watching what’s going on in my house.

Everybody took the time to explain things but we had a little problem with the installation because the guy didn't come with the full equipment that he needed. He had to go back to Kennesaw but the place was closed. He was there at 9:00 and he left at about 6 o'clock. We had a two-day installation of over nine hours and it was such a long day. I am a senior and I have medical problems. I couldn't rest that day. But the guy was very nice and he tried. I asked him to put a mask on and he did. He didn't come in with booties or gloves though. Also, I haven't received the gift card yet and I've had the system a week.

I have a family member that has ADT but we went with them because of their low price for all the equipment. Also, some guy called and asked me if I was interested, and he connected me to an ADT number. The customer service reps were good about handling my concerns. I had a little incident with the price. I was quoted and then charged for something but they made it right.
The manager called me the very first day to set up an appointment to have the system installed and they gave me a price and didn't acknowledge that all the free stuff they were throwing out at me was going to be an even more expensive price just to get it turned on. If they're gonna quote people prices for the equipment, they need to quote people a price for the activation. That was never divulged and I was under the impression because I was told that all I was going to owe was a $99 installation fee upfront. We liquidated the installation for all the free stuff they gave me that I wasn't going to owe anything else. And the tech pops a $500 fee on me. So, they need to be more transparent when it comes to that. Even though I was displeased with that $500 fee, ADT is still a great system and everybody has been as nice as they can be. I'd recommend ADT highly.

I filled out the thing online, then somebody from ADT called me and set up an appointment to talk to me. It was on a Sunday night and I told their rep that I wanted to know what were the plans or the costs. I also told him that I’m on a fixed income and I had a little hard time with him. From there, I talked to a manager who promised me the moon and a remote. But I didn't get any of that stuff because she didn't tell me that they came with the highest priced thing. When the installer came out, he said that I couldn't have that and that it was $53 a month. So, I wasn't happy about that. I also got an advertisement via email saying that if I signed up I could get certain things. But evidently, I didn't.
Other than that, I had the system put in and the installer was good. He was a super nice guy and a pusher, so good for ADT. For the service, I've already had to call them twice because I was promised a gift card and information how to get it, but nobody sent me anything. When I called ADT, their rep, Leslie, gave me the numbers that I needed and so forth. The people there were good service staff and they were really nice. They also told me exactly the information that I was asking, so all that was good. So far, the system is doing what it's supposed to and I would I recommend ADT in my area because as a service, it's going to be more efficient.

I got an email saying that there was a deal for $99 which I really jumped into. ADT told me they were gonna bring one camera and other stuff. When the rep came, he brought two additional cameras and told me that he was gonna charge me 500 apiece. I was really frustrated about that. He made my wife believe that the camera that was supposed to come with the package was the camera on the doorbell. He told her to go make the payment in two instalments. Though I'm impressed with the way the system works, I feel I was tricked to get it. For me to talk to them and then the following day they came up with an additional $1,000 from nowhere and put it on my wife, that's not something anybody would want to do. But they already installed the equipment so there was nothing I could really do.

I have a Brinks Security System which is now antiquated. Brinks was purchased by Broadview and Broadview was purchased by ADT. I am disappointed that I was not offered that I wasn't offered a newer system after I was transitioned to ADT. I am scheduled to get a new system because I saw some incentives for new customers. I felt that I was a new customer so I responded. The deal offered was an affordable deal which I did appreciate. Just wish they would have offered it to me. The other issue is that my bill is basically doubling which is tough during COVID-19.

I was looking at a lot of do-it-yourself systems and I chose ADT because of all the good reviews I heard from them. I figured they had what I needed as far as the surveillance and the remote access by phone, so I decided to try them out. Their technician was very knowledgeable and he gave us a breakdown of all the items. Then, the installation went rather quickly. So far, the features of the system are pretty good. There are a lot of things I can do with them and some of the sensors when I'm in the house. So, it has worked out well.

When I ordered ADT, it was simple. I called and then made a reservation appointment to install. After that, the technician came, and then all kinds of different stories popped up. On ADT's brochure, they offer some free camera or free equipment, but I came to know this extra charge for installation. It's a very tiny letter kind of back of the mail for video camera installation at $299. I also have to subscribe to one of the highest prices like 59. When I ordered, I just thought it's the $27 or less than $30. But after the installation, I realized all cost is about $54. Then, I also have a three-year contract.
The installation was crazy because the technician came and explained things which took almost an hour. He really forced me to get a more expensive plan. He was trying to persuade me to get more and more. Then, he did not install. He just kept explaining and trying to sell more. I was very unpleasant at that time. I had another appointment on that day, so I just asked him to just do the medium range. I couldn’t argue about it because the time frame was so tight. I wanted the doorbell camera, but there's a $300 extra charge for installation. I just gave up. I just put the seven sensors. I thought about the whole house, but the very tiny letter said, “Only up to seven sensors.”

Garrett did a really good job of explaining the system. He took nothing for granted. He set it up faster than I expected. I'm amazed at all of the things that it does. I was surprised. It’s the first time I've ever had it. You can control it over your telephone if you're not there. It's pretty easy to use. So far, I'm entirely happy with it. Also, their customer service guy was really good.

My grandmother had ADT. I also went to a company called Porch Home Assistant and they referred me to ADT. And since I was familiar with them, I signed up. The sales rep I talked to was very helpful and was thrilled to answer all my questions. She said that usually, people didn’t ask a lot of questions. But I asked a lot of questions. Then, the installation was good and quick. The guy informed me of everything I needed to know and sent me the email with the confirmation. So far, I'm very satisfied with my security system. It's easy to use and ADT is a good company. They have a lot of different packages and things depending on what kind of home you have and what you need. I live in a condo and I probably didn’t need the system but it's like a reassurance to me. If I wake up and my alarm is still set, I know that nobody was in there, versus waking up without an alarm.

It was very good dealing with the sales rep when I signed up with ADT and everything went very well with the installation. The installer took a great amount of time in going over everything and showing us how to work the features. I had a good experience and he did a fine job. I like the Ring doorbell. We had cameras already prior to that, but it's just a little bit of extra security I like having.

I liked ADT's reputation and services. I also heard nothing but good things about them. I decided to get their service and my experience with them was perfect. Everybody was pretty professional, courteous, and very helpful with my questions. The installation was cool, too. The guy was really professional, answered all my questions, and had me set up in no time. He walked me through everything as well. So far, I like the app. It’s easy to arm and disarm everything just on my phone. And it gives me peace of mind when I'm at work.
