ADT is good and I'd recommend them. They're always there if I need them. The rep calls right away any time I have a problem. Either we're cooking and the smoke alarm goes off or we forget to set the alarm or shut it off and we open the door. I've had no problems with every person I've talked to on the phone or every service guy. They're all professionals. The equipment is of good quality. I've got wireless sensors, cameras, motion detectors and glass breakage. The whole house is well covered.

I bought this house 23 years ago and when I moved in, I got ADT and I still have it. At the time, when I was looking up alarm systems, ADT was number one. I love the price. It's amazing. I used to pay 57 but because I was a long-time customer, they dropped it down to 44. The reps are right there anytime I’ve got a problem and if my alarm goes off, they call me right away. The techs haven't recently been out here but they've been out a couple of times since I had it. The last time, the guy gave me a key remote to the garage with a panic button. They replaced it but the next time I tried to replace it, they wanted me to pay $189 for it. So, I just didn't do it. They said a technician has to come out so I have to pay for that service from the technician.
There were a couple of incidents where somebody tried to get into my home. They broke my back door but when they came in the other door, the alarm system went off. ADT came out to service it because they broke it. Another time, my son was here and I had just gone to work and some boys tried to break into my house through the window. So the sensor picked them up and I was on the phone with ADT. They told me they were gonna call the police and they stayed on the phone. They called my home phone and stayed on the phone with my son. So the police helped and I just came home from work. There was damage done those two times and I got free service when ADT came out and fixed that. They did a replacement on the door that was broken and put a new battery in my sensor. Then, the tech went downstairs to the box and did something, and gave me a new key fob. But I dropped it so many times so it doesn’t work anymore.
I'm so secure as far as being closed in because I'm six feet all the way around in the wrought iron fence. I keep my gates locked and there's no way anybody could just enter my property. They'll have a hard time in my property where the gates are made. So that's a plus too. I got that after they tried to break into my house because my house is wide open. That made it more secure. I don't need cameras and all that stuff to hook up to my phone. I'm an old person and I don't have an iPhone for all that activity and that would be a lot too. I would probably be a little slow in trying to work it if something had gone down. ADT gave me stickers for the bathroom window, the side windows, one on the back, in the front, on the porch and the back door to the garage. It's everywhere and I got a sign in the back of my house to let anybody know that it's armed by ADT. I haven't had any trouble since then.

I’ve had ADT for 30 years. They're my security that I had in the house since we built the house in ’95. Everything's been positive. and nothing negative that I can think of over the years. We've had upgrades and various things that we've had done to it over time with new technology and all my experiences have been good. The reps knew what they were doing. They were experienced and very professional. Whenever the system went off, whether it was accidental, everything worked fine.

The ADT salesman who came out was good. Talked about it and broke it down. It was really educational and good to know what the new items that they had to offer. The installation team was great too. They explained it in detail what they were doing, how they were doing and how long it was gonna take. They came in and did what they needed to do. It was really good. I haven't had any issues since then. I love the service and how it is able to work on my phone. If I call anyone, they're also very knowledgeable about how to solve the problem.

ADT is simple, easy to use and I had no complicated problems. If anything, it was me learning how to use it. If someone would open the door when the alarm was on, they'd call. No police were called. Nobody ever broke in, I didn't have any problem and they reset it. When I was supposed to test it, I forgot how to and I called them. They helped me and walked through it. I've had a good experience with ADT.

Their customer service is exemplary. If I have issues, I just call in and they rectify it. Getting in contact with them has been very easy. I live in the country and there are woods all around. And there could be crooks coming in through the woods. I had a Service America system before ADT, and it was a piece of crap. ADT has been much better.

I'm on a monthly payment plan now, which the ADT rep was very helpful when she called because I was getting ready to cancel it. She spoke to me, and we talked about the cost of the system. I have to think about the fact that I'm not using it because when I leave the house, I have a motion detector that goes off. It's been going on. I've done what I needed to do on this end as far as getting up and changing batteries. I don't know what's going on with it.

We've had ADT for at least 25 years and my interactions with their reps have always been good. We had a sensor problem and we worked with them on the phone to correct it. But sometimes, it takes a while to get ahold of somebody.

The person who came here was very nice and friendly. He introduced himself and explained how everything worked. The setup was done in an afternoon. I like using the ADT app. It's very user-friendly.

ADT has been great. When I called about an issue, they came and checked with me. But I still have to make another phone call because the system is not doing what it's supposed to do. It takes me a couple of minutes to get in my home, plus there is a warning telling me that they need to fix something and to call the 1-800 number. So far, I haven't done that yet. Also, I went through that tutorial that they have in the panel but it's not working. Other than that, everybody responded well when I called and when a tech had to come out, he responded faster than I expected. He also told me that if I had any problems, to call him and he gave me his cell number.

I had a good experience with ADT and I had no problem with the installation. I used another company before and I got an app for the camera that I had with them. And I kept it, so it tied in with my ADT services. And when I tried to get the cameras with ADT, they cost more, so I just kept what I had.

We've had ADT for a very long time and we have never had an issue with anything. My only complaint is that there doesn't seem to be an emergency number. It just goes to a regular number. Other than that, everything is okay.

My most recent experience with ADT was when the smoke alarm went off. ADT called and asked if I wanted the fire department sent. It was a good experience, except my phone was out of order. It was storming that day and my cellphone was not getting any kind of reception. The fire department did come to my house. But it was all good. I had never had that happen and I had to call ADT and ask how to disarm it. It was a learning experience for me and ADT was helpful in that.

Everybody I talked to at ADT has been fine. I like the service. Sometime I might open the door and forget I got the system on, and they'll call and check and see what's going on. So I'm sure they are protecting my house if I'm not here. They would let me know that's something going on. It's a good service that protects your house.

My ADT system does what it's supposed to do. The homeowner had the system when we bought the house and we had to get an updated system installed. Other than that, everything's been fine.

Dealing with the customer service from ADT was wonderful. I have a thing around my neck and every now and then, I'll drop it and they're always right on the ball to check with me, and they're always so kind. I feel very safe with my security system. When I seared my steaks a little bit too much and everything filled up with smoke, I had the fire department out here.

I like ADT. It does very well. The customer service reps are very efficient and helpful. I didn't know how to do any of that stuff, and the techs changed the batteries and showed me how to do one thing or another. My husband since then has passed away and I have felt secure that my home was protected and I was well pleased with the service.

I like what ADT offers, so I got it. I get a lot of perks with it. I can put the security on and off on my phone. And at the time I got it, my husband was ill and I got the alert. I got the carbon monoxide thing. I'd tell others to go for ADT. The customer service has been good.

The ADT system works. When I call them, sometimes it takes two calls if something's going wrong. But they usually take care of it right away. The system is connected to my doors and windows, so I feel pretty safe. When any one of them is opened at any time, the alarm panel will notify me. However, I wish their rates wouldn't keep going up. That's my only problem because I'm on a limited income.

I would certainly recommend ADT. The monitoring and the response to service issues seem good. They always answer the phone. They also always send someone out if it's a serious problem and they send them quickly too. They're efficient and they do a good job.

ADT is really great. I've had it 20 years now and there's been no issues using ADT. Very rarely have I ever called them, but when I do, they're quick to respond. I've called and asked them how come the battery went dead. They told me how to replace it. For the usual stuff that happens to it when it gets really old, they've told me how to take care of it and maintain it. This thing works fantastic.

ADT's price seems reasonable. It's better than some, and the package is good. I like everything I have, so I haven't compared it to anything else. I've never had a problem with ADT. Reaching out to customer service always goes well. They're always polite and courteous, and they wait for us to get to the instrument. There's no rush. I like the app as well. I use it all the time.

ADT is a good service, and they're reputable. If I call in and I need any kind of service or if there's any problem, they're on top of it really quickly. The system works perfectly too. If there's any problem or anybody tries to enter the home or leave, then the alert goes off immediately.

It's been good with ADT. I've had them for a while and I'm very satisfied. I've had my cat set my alarm off a few times and they've called immediately. My husband died almost four years ago so I went ahead and secured the house more. We have an upstairs, a downstairs, and a basement. Everything's got something on it and I don't worry about going to bed at night.

I called in a couple of times that I couldn't get the system to work. I'm 77 years old so one has to talk me through things and they were very nice about it. The system is working for me. I set my alarm all the time. I pay $46 a month and that's fine. It gives me home security.

ADT came over, showed us what they had and proved to us that what we had wasn't working because the security company didn't seem to monitor all the time like they were supposed to. The sales rep was very forthright and the installation team was very quick and efficient. I'm very happy with what we have. Everything for the most part goes as it's supposed to except with little problems every now and then, with little troubleshooting that I've had. Right now, I'm having some troubles with my unit. I had to replace the battery in the new unit. The warning light never went off. I called ADT and they said, "Give it 48 hours. It will recharge the battery and it will go out." But the light never went off. Now, I've noticed that any time I open a door, the alarm does that little quick ding. It didn't use to do that and it's a little annoying.

ADT has always been helpful but they don't offer anything special. I've had other systems where if someone came to the door or making you open the door, you could put a false number in to indicate that you are under duress. That's a great feature. Too bad ADT doesn't have it. They have not raised prices as much as other things are going up though.

The system works. When the alarm goes off, sometimes you get the robotic call from a machine telling you about your alarm going off. When I call, they answer and come over when needed. They've done everything that I wanted to. It's been a rewarding experience. Prior to ADT having my condo, I had them in my house and everything was alright.

There was a system in the house when I moved here. The technician said it was an older system and they didn't connect those anymore so I had to buy a system. I'm 76 years old. He gave me a book with his number and everything of how to call and get some answers if I had any problems. I go through the book, read it and get some understanding. But sometimes I can't, and I'll call and they'll explain things to me. I've had good success with ADT. Whenever I have a problem, I call and they give me good answers and solve my problem. I had just called yesterday because I had forgotten how to turn the volume down on my calls and somebody walked me through it.
But the rate is a little high. I'm paying two different amounts every month. One of them is for the system itself and the other one is for the service. They explained to me that it's two because it's different things. I was gonna call back and ask if they have any incentives or plans for senior citizens. I got some other friends that live here in the community and theirs is less than mine. A lot of people in the community have that door camera too. They're saying that they don't have to pay a monthly fee on. It's something they just buy one time.

I'm happy with this security that I get from ADT. If the alarm goes off, they call me to let me know. It's a scare service. They give you the stickers to go on your windows so people would know that you are protected. So far, the system's performance has been good. On the phone, their reps also seem to be sufficient and they answer whenever I call.

If the alarm goes off, ADT calls me right away to alert me. When I had to reach out to them, I got a rep pretty quickly. Usually, my concern is nothing big or grand, so it's taken care of. I've never had any issue with ADT and that's why I’ve had them for so long. The price was low when I started and now, it has increased a few times over the years. But when I disputed it, they would take it back down for another year or so. Then when they increased it, I said okay because things are going up. ADT is good and I feel secure with them.

I’ve been with ADT for a long time. I don't have any problem with them. When you have a problem, they will come out and fix it. However, now, you have to fix it yourself. I'm 77 years old and some of the way they got it set up, I don't understand it. But I'm still hanging in there. If they come out, it's $125.

My experience with ADT has been positive. We have two homes. Both of them have ADT security and we use it all the time. The system is working very well. They’ve been very responsive. I like the fact that you can monitor your homes without being there. The price is also very reasonable.

When speaking to salesman was told one thing about only being charged 800$ for complete set up. I find out after getting billed I’m now getting charged 1400$ for outstanding balance. The security system works great but it’s very poor communication and being lied to. I would NOT recommend my friends and family to this for them just to be lied to. Only way out of contract is to pay off almost all the equipment. It would be a 0 star if the cameras weren’t good and such a friendly installer.

Please feel free to contact ADT for a copy of the contract as well any documents that show the changes that were made. All customers also have 3 days after signing the agreement, to decide if they want to keep the services and cancel without any penalty if they are not happy with nay portion of the services.

My wife and I are a customer of ADT for about 3 years. Yesterday, we uncovered that ten months ago, ADT allowed the previous owner of our home and a previous installation to create a new installation at her new home under our account. Basically adding another installation to our home account. We have been defrauded of approximately $2200.00. When uncovered both my wife and I spent hours on the phone between each other trying to remedy. No resolve. I then emailed approximately 6 executives, inclusive of the CEO of our issue and requesting immediate support. No response. Be careful!!

We feel secure with ADT especially now that they have the camera. Before, I can easily review the camera with the password. But now, I don't know if my husband is telling me the correct password or he forgot. I cannot get into it. I tried reaching out to them but it didn't work. When I'm away from home, I look after who is coming to our house. I want to see if there's a mail delivered, but I cannot get to review it. I don't feel good when I cannot look at it. There was a time when we were not here and the police left a note that there was somebody trying to get into the house. When they knew that there's ADT and all those signs we put in the corners at the back, then they did not get in.

Mostly, I like ADT. They're always helpful and have come out to fix an issue for me. My price is good. I started off terribly high, but I'm down to 22 now. I asked them at one point when I found out I was paying 55 and everybody else was paying 20. They changed it. But the times when I'm not home and some of my friends open the door that the alarm is set, then I have to pay $75.

ADT is a great choice. Every time I call them, they're on the spot. They are very friendly and they sign me up for coming out to change batteries or whatever that needs to be done. Every time they come out, I get something else to add to the system, like glass breakage. The system works well. It gives us peace of mind.

We put our system in and then we just left it alone. Then it got to the point where it got outdated. So at that point, ADT came out and upgraded the system. It was cheap for them to do that, so I was happy with that. Now, we have a better system. The techs were really professional. They were in and out quickly and very nice. They did a good job. There was no damage to the house. We were happy with the original installation and also when we got the upgraded system. The only thing is that it's hard to navigate their website to make payments.

They provide good service and quick response if something happens. However, I had a battery wear out in their control unit. Twice they sent a battery and both times they were the wrong battery. I gave up and just purchased one locally. Other than that, it's been good. The initial installation went well too.

The rep was very nice when we met him. But I don't like that ADT doesn't call when the alarm goes off by accident. My other services call me right away and say, "The alarm went off. Are you okay? Do we need to call the police?" But ADT doesn't do that all the time. My late husband and I decided that ADT was better than the other ones that we looked at. But now, I wanna go with the other one that we didn't take because it's cheaper. I'm paying $70.70 a month with ADT and for the money I'm paying, I'm not getting what it's worth. I'm not really happy with them.

I like the features of ADT, their reputation and their cost. The local business that installed it committed to be right there and he's come out and helped us with some other stuff. The system is easy to use, which is great for us. They put an outdoor camera system that's accessible via a different app. We like that. You look up any time and see what's going on around our house.

My customer service experience has been to lower my bill. They would have given me two months lower to where I wanted it. And it went right back up. I was, "I've had this thing for a while. I paid the equipment off. I like the clips on it.” But it's not worth what they tried to get me to pay it first. But the last person I spoke to got it to where I'm comfortable paying.
I wasn't happy with I had to pay all that money to install it. On top of that, I had a monthly fee. Maybe I was looking into it incorrectly. But I had ADT on both sides of my home so you can view it. But I end up getting Ring for my front and my back because I couldn't afford the other equipment that's needed for the side. I would rather have ADT for the front and back. But it's unaffordable for me to have all four. Other than that, I like the little code thing on the door. In case my daughter needs an emergency, that little thing to click so they can call the police. I like those two things so that we feel safe here with that. I'm satisfied.

ADT's system seems to be something that needs to happen, because we put in batteries like crazy and all for our access doors outside. And every month, I get this thing from them saying a bad battery. I have talked to ADT about it. It's 60 miles for me to travel from here where I live now top there to meet someone to try to fix some of the problems. So my nephew and I, we just go up there and change the batteries out. But they are consistent with that payment.
The only thing I got is a camera, and my doors are protected, and a camera that shines on to where the meter base is. We had problems years ago with somebody that pulled the meter out. And once they pulled the meter out, they had access to the whole house. They cut everything that had a cord on it, that had copper in it. They cut all the lamp and vacuum cleaner cords off. They were selling the copper back then, but copper prices are going down, so they do not do it much anymore. But that's the only reason we put in the system, because we were half mile back in the woods off the road on 26 acres. It has been difficult trying to change passwords with them. Other than that, it's okay.

ADT is the alarm system we're with. We had it done a long time ago, and the customer service was fine. The installation was good as well. They came in and hooked up everything, all the windows, doors, the panel and the garage. They did everything they were supposed to do. I'm quite pleased, and for what we got and what we pay, we're satisfied. We haven't been having any issues, and as long as we do what we're supposed to do by setting the alarm, everything's fine.

Absolutely horrible customer experience. Authorized dealers charge way more than to go through ADT directly. I got service through a dealer then tried to relocate my service when I moved. Took me 2-3 months to cancel at the old house even after I no longer owned it. I was then told my early termination fee at that address (because they force you to sign a 3 yr agreement) was waived because I started a new service at a new address, but no, that was a lie. Now I've got 2 different ADT contracts and they are telling me I owe early cancellation fee on one while still paying on the other that I didn't even want in the first place. I only moved the service to the new location because directly through ADT it was cheaper than paying the early cancel fee.

I've been with ADT for a number of years and I'm happy with the service. They've been very reliable. And if I have problems, they come out and fix some stuff. Their technicians were very professional. I had minor issues with my key fobs and things that will turn on and turn off the security system. My system went off a couple of times. ADT was very quick at contacting me and said, "Hey, you have an alarm going off," and they asked if I was able to reset it so they would not notify the police. They've been good about that.

When we purchased the home, we weren’t supposed to go with ADT and the maintenance was supposed to come with another company. After a year and a half, the company that installed the system was out. The other company came out for anything that went wrong with the system to fix it because it was a brand new home and system and it had flaws in it. But ADT didn't wanna do that anymore and they wanna charge when they come out to take care of it. The camera doorbell malfunctioned all the time and the other company would try to figure out what was going on when I called them. But they stopped all that when ADT took it over. We were told when we signed up that this system has a lifetime warranty. But when ADT took it over, everything stopped.

ADT's services are good. The technicians are good. The equipment that I have is good, but I'm not satisfied with the price. I'm retired now, and I'm looking for a better price. I'm looking at the overall services but I need a little bit more affordable price. Other than that, the ADT techs came out twice. I had a situation with the sensors and there was an issue I had with the keypad. I felt good about the techs' attitude and the level of knowledge. They were able to fix the issues the first visit that they came out. I would recommend ADT's services.

I like the ability to arm or disarm the system when I'm not at home. I can use my cellphone. However, sometimes it takes a while to get to a rep. They have one of those automated phone answering system. Sometimes it takes several different entries on the phone before I can get them. But when I get ahold of them, they resolve the situation. One time, the battery was bad. Within a day, they had sent me a replacement battery. I had my mother living with me, and she would sometimes get confused with the code. ADT would respond right away so that she would not be standing outside in the bad weather because she couldn't figure out how to get in the house. I had the system transferred to a fourth residence since I started the plan years ago. I just call them, tell them I'm moving and within a short period of time after I move, they have the new system ready.
There are a lot of other things on the market now but I don't want to have to pay more than I'm already paying. What I pay now is more than a dollar a day and it's not worth that much to me. The problem in this area is that we do not have local police. They have to respond with the county sheriff's office. We had an alarm go off one time when I was over at the church. They called my stepson and he got here, checked around the house, and made sure everything was okay. The cops never came. The county cops were busy someplace else and thought it was more important. After that, I haven't had any concerns, except for one of the monitors hasn't worked for years. We just disabled that one which is at the bottom of the basement stairs. I don't know why it was installed in the first place in this house.

I've had ADT for three years and so far, I've been okay with it except for changing the batteries. I have to call and get help. The only camera I have is on my box in the house and it takes a picture if you mess with the alarm there. I'm glad to have ADT.

I had ADT but they did something to make me angry. My box sucked and the keys were not sticking. Every time I would try to put the alarm on, I had to worry that the keys weren't gonna stick before the alarm went off. I called ADT about it and they told me how much I'd have to pay to get the box replaced or they would have to give me a used one. I'd been with them forever and they were gonna charge me because their box went bad. There was nothing they could do for me. I went to another company but the company turned out to be ADT. So, I'm stuck.
But it's doing very well now. When I called the other company, they came out and installed it, and put in a new box -- what I was asking for in the first place. I asked them one time if they could give me more time to get to the box because I am older now and I don't move as quickly as I used to and they told me they couldn't do that unless I paid so I said okay. I just gotta learn to walk faster. It's not like it used to be when people say, "Well, wait a minute. You wanna do that, let me see what I can do for you." Other than that, they can usually answer and fix whatever problem I have over the phone so people don't have to come out. Also, I got a real good rate with them. At first, I didn't but when I told them my friend's house is bigger than mine and she's paying a lot less, they must have looked into it because they went down on my bill and I've been at this amount for quite some time.

ADT's price is better than their competitors for relatively the same service. They made some suggestions but didn't try to oversell me on anything. When they came to install the system, we added some window alarms. When the doorbell alarm stopped working, they came out and fixed it. Then it died and they replaced it with a new model. We paid 200 bucks which was less than ideal but it ended up it was still cheaper than it would have been with another provider. They were 90 something dollars a month, and you paid to own the equipment, whereas with ADT, it's a rental. They've attempted to up my rates once a year by six bucks, and every time I call them and ask them if I can get my old rate back, they do it every time. I didn't have to go through some battle. The customer service people would rather keep you. They’ve kept the same rates over the last three years.
There are five different websites and apps, and it was confusing at first. My ADT is for the security system. Control is for controlling the system. There are some account features on there, but you have to go to My ADT if you wanna clear out your backlog of footage. Another thing is you're locked in a three-year contract, so if at any time you wanna get out, you have to pay the remainder of your contract out.

I've had someone from ADT come out and help me with the motion monitor thing. He was positive. He came early because he had time before he started another job with another technician. So he was helpful, knowledgeable, and did a good job. I was having some work done on my house and they disconnected on one of the door sensors. He didn't get the screw tight on there. It looked like the motion monitor was not working correctly. But it was. The guy that came out and helped me was great. He just checked it out and made sure that it was working, and it was. It didn't have anything to do with the door.

So far, so good. We've been with ADT for so long and I would recommend anybody get a security system. We were having some hiccups a few years ago with the price because things changed over the years. We added one camera and that was when everything got confusing. But we got it straightened out. We finally got somebody to explain to us how ADT worked in the billing stuff.

ADT has been working for us. At some point, we would want a more integrated, upgraded system but what we have seems to be fine for our needs right now. Over the years, we've been able to reach ADT. A couple of years ago, the cellular towers around here were changing and ADT did not have a communication box that would work with our system. We were able to work it out through our cable company, but that was one thing I was disappointed that ADT didn't recommend. We own our system, and they've increased what we pay when they could, but I don't wanna switch companies right now. The price is in the range and the reliability is key as well.

The system is great. I can arm it remotely and I feel safe. Sometimes I have people that come who are uneasy about disarming it and I can do it remotely for them. It works really well and it's easy the way they contact me and tell me my bill is due. Also, they kept their rates pretty reasonable. It's one of the few companies I really don't have any complaints about. If I were to move, I would definitely get it again.

ADT is top-shelf. The system does its job. When I had some trouble with the battery a couple of times and a few minor malfunctions, ADT sent somebody out and took care of it. However, they like to creep the price up every once in a while. When the contract expired, I signed another contract and it went up again. But I won't be doing that again. I found several cheaper ways to go, which I'm gonna look into when my contract expires.

When the battery went in this system, the rep said somebody has to bring it out and it's gonna cost. We refused that and he told us to go to the hardware store and get a battery. We don't even use the system really and we're thinking of stopping it altogether. It's not necessary and we're paying for it.

The system is simple and easy to use and gives us sense of security. Also, the app allows me to look at the cameras in the house and turn the alarm on and off. Everything works fine. We had an instance where the second keypad recently went bad. We tried the over the phone and over the chat but it didn't work and they came out and replaced it. They also came out because the unit needed a Wi-Fi extender and didn't charge me. Everything was great and I'm happy with them.

The system is absolutely great. When my wife was making gravy one morning and it started smoking, the alarm went off, and she went over there with the rag and tried to fan it, and that was how we used to do our other smoke alarm. We opened the windows and the back door, and she was still fanning. She told me to turn the alarm off. Then somebody was at the front door and when I walked out there, there were five firemen sitting in my yard. I love ADT.

But when I asked for discounts, they never gave me any. Also, I asked them about the warranty because I had a warranty with Brinks but they gave no information on that either.

I'm happy with my ADT system. I like the way they installed it. I don't have a very complicated system. I have the whole house alarm and I like it because it works fine and I haven't had any problems with it and I don't have to change batteries every five minutes. We have no complaints about anything. If I have a problem and I call them, they can help. I would recommend ADT.

ADT is one of the best out there. I have peace of mind when I'm away from home or late at night when we're sleeping. I know that someone is watching over my home, and that is ADT. I've been such a happy customer. My system has been working very well. I'm thinking about upgrading and doing other things. I have motion detectors. There have been a couple of times I didn't get to the door or the machine to put my code, and they would notify me by email or phone and ask me, “Is everything all right before we call the police?” They've been fantastic. Also, I've been locked in in a price. It hasn't gone up in 10 years. There's no company that locks you in a price like that.

ADT's reps were helpful and professional. Getting in contact with them was pretty easy and I feel better covered in case something happens. But operating the system took some figuring out. The system works better in these newer houses that are built in 1990 and later. But I bought an old house built during the Korean War which is all brick and the system doesn't work so well when it comes to cameras because you got to have the Wi-Fi go through something. It also doesn't work well going through bricks.
I had to go on Amazon to get a WiFi extender that I'd plug into a wall. That way I could send a signal through the window, out to the camera, outside the window, and to my backyard. ADT may want to offer some Wi-Fi boosters with their products to ensure the best performance of their cameras. So far, the system is working better now. But some of my computers are out of whack because they don't pick up the phone calls from my iPhone and I don’t know if that’s a normal thing. But the last time I checked, my cameras were at above 80%, which is their minimum strength.

The ADT rep said the first month is free and it could wash over on my homeowner's insurance. But I have not gotten my deal yet. I don't know if it's to do with me not having the front camera for my house. I gotta get Wi-Fi first for them to be able to get the camera. Other than that, I'm satisfied with ADT. The price is exceptional. It's $65. Their app is good and the system very convenient. If I forget to arm my system, I don't have to go inside my house and arm it. I can just use my phone. One time, the alarm went off because I didn't punch my code in in time. They responded instantly. Another time, my girlfriend was trying to cook bacon and the grease set off the fire alarm. The fire department went over there fast, even though we told them to disregard.

We like ADT. We've had it for 15 years in this house. We also had it when we lived in our other house. Everybody that I've ever talked to has been very polite and helpful. When my friend set off the alarm when we were on vacation, ADT called and was nice to them too. If we get an alarm sound, most of the time, it’s our cats jumping up on something. They call, we tell them, and they go ahead and turn it off. Whatever's going on, they handle it very professionally. One time, my husband accidentally sat on his keys with the alarm in it. While I was telling him goodbye, the phone was ringing, which was ADT calling to find out if I was okay. A little bit later, a policeman came to the house and asked me if everything was alright. My husband had set the alarm and didn't realize it. It didn't make any noise in the house and I missed a phone call to tell them that there was nothing wrong. I was very pleased that they came out to check on me.

I've been a customer for many years, and I've been very pleased with ADT. We've had to negotiate with them a couple of times on the cost. I call them up and say I'm gonna go get something else and they'll come back with a better price. The only problem I had was when they switched over to 5G. That was when I had to get the new system. It's a secure system and worked flawlessly since then. They keep up-to-date with me on what's going on with my system. I've always been able to contact them with any questions. They've always been there for me and taken care of what I need taken care of. They got a nice website that I utilize if I have any questions regarding the cameras, sensors and motion detectors. I can get stickers and yard signs whenever I want. I just go online into our portal, request them and they ship them right out to me without any fee.

We had an issue with a false alarm. It resulted in a police officer coming out to the house to check, which ultimately resulted in a notice from the department regarding the false alarm. But that was mostly my fault because I could not respond to them quick enough to get it canceled. I'd recommend ADT.

The ADT system works well. They just updated it a couple of months ago. There was a snafu on the first appointment. I waited all day for somebody to come then finally called later in the afternoon. I was told it was canceled due to an electronic snafu with the computer systems. But they came the next day, bright and early. They put in a new keypad and changed some stuff downstairs. I don't have to go with the battery anymore. We're happy with the service and how it works. They gave me new signs too. I got one sign at every entrance.

I installed the system when we built the house 20 years ago. It became outdated and old, so we required a new system. The installation went very well. ADT's technicians were good. And we're very pleased. The system is performing well. We live in a very secure area, but the system provides security. If you need a security system, ADT is something you should look at.

I like ADT and it's good. I recommend it. It seemed to be the most reliable. The guy came out, put the system in, and we've had little quirks here and there but they always fixed them. They're good. One time, we thought it might have been the wind. And it was one window that always gave us trouble. We finally found out changing the battery and it was the main thing.

I've been using ADT for quite a long time and I'm satisfied with the service. Their reps have all been friendly and nice, for the most part. When my maid, unfortunately, at times, sets off the alarm, the alarm works and they don't come after my dog or kick me out. I'm an art dealer and I need the alarm system to keep my insurance premiums low. I have a basic plan with ADT and I gave up the motion controls because my dogs would set that off.

ADT is the best in the area and their reps have always been very good and helpful. The system's been good so far but I'm having a little bit of a glitch problem. It's gone off in the middle of the night a couple of times. So, it's a technical issue and the pad needs to be reset. But the smoke alarm gives me a lot of peace of mind. I also feel more secure with the system in place. The home is not in a very public area and it's in front of a lake.

We like everything about the system. It takes care of everything. We have not had one bit of a problem with them at all. We're able to see what's going on in the yard when we're gone. We have it monitored through my phone now so that I can turn them stuff on and off if I need to and I can see what's going on with my phone. The app seems to work good. Every time we've contacted ADT, they've came right out and showed us how to do it all and set it all up.

I like the camera in the backyard that I can look at and see what's out there when it lets me know something. I also use the app for arming and disarming and seeing what's going on in the backyard. However, the doorbell camera is not helpful and not useful. I wanna be able to see what's going on. I have a glass door. I don't need a camera telling me who's at my door. I can see them. They said it was with the package and that I couldn't switch it to a regular camera. I would rather have a regular camera than a doorbell camera. I don't utilize it. It's just a waste of money to me.

The reps of ADT have been very polite and helpful. However I had a very bad rapport with one of the vendors who came to my house. Somebody else came and fixed the problem. And it had nothing to do with the person I spoke to on the phone. It was a miscommunication between their technician and the person who called me on the phone. There also could be more services for the package that I get. I've been with ADT for over 20 years now.

We've had a great experience with ADT. The installer was good and knowledgeable. The only drawback was he had brought his one son with him, which to me wasn't too professional. But everything that he did was good. We don't have all the benefits like the camera. But with the alarm, it's been great. It was always a concern when we traveled as far as a fire or a break-in. When everything went to 5G, they had to come back out and update the alarm. The tech was great. A few times, either I or my husband have set the alarm off. And we'd either get a phone call or a text immediately, asking if we needed help.

This company will not stop harassing me! I have contacted my local agent and I have contacted support over the phone and through chat. I do not wish to get any more ADT advertisements. I was told by the local agent that advertisements would stop. I continued to receive them and I was bullied and hung up on by a phone agent. He refused to transfer me and harassed me when I said I just want the advertisements to stop. I spoke to someone through chat to have my address removed from the mailing list and two months later I am still receiving advertisements from adt. YOUR COMPANY SUCKS!!!! Both the sales reps and installers were nice, polite and very professional. The alarm went off when I put the wrong code and I didn’t get in here quick enough. And ADT called right away. The system is good and it’s not expensive. The only thing I don’t like is it’s sensitive. It’ll go off in my camera if the leaves fall off.

I was contact by a sales rep to install the ADT security system in my home. I asked for cameras that record 24/7. He stated that ADT has never provided cameras that record 24/7, that they don’t make security systems like that for homes. With that being said, I purchased the security system under the pretense that I would never be able to get 24/7 recording cameras. Once the system and cameras were installed, I notice that the cameras will only record 30 seconds at a time while someone is in the frame. That means someone could still be in the frame and the camera would stop recording. I also noticed that when the WiFi gets disconnected, the cameras will indicate with a red light that they are not working. This can be seen from the outside of the house.
Called ADT and Safe Haven to get this corrected. Safe Haven did not have a solution since it was ADT who sold me the cameras. I was transferred about 5 different times to different departments when I tried to fix the issues. No one could give me a direct answer so I filed a complaint with the BBB. I just recently called ADT again. I was transferred around a few times until I spoke with a sales rep named Victoria. Victoria acknowledged that the original sales rep who lied to me about the availability of a 24/7 recording system was in the wrong and should not have done that. She also acknowledged that the 30 second recording limitation and the red lights indicating the camera is not working was a security risk. She stated that there was nothing ADT could do about their mistake. She admitted it was ADT’s mistake.
I updated my BBB complaint with my most recent interaction. The solution I want is to remove my 4 Safe Haven outdoor cameras and my safe haven doorbell camera and install the Google cameras that can record 24/7. I should not have to pay for the new Google cameras as I already paid in full for the entire system I currently have. I am more than happy to pay more for the subscription premium to received the 24/7 recording but I will not play for the hardware.
In summary, I was lied to about the cameras and the security risks associated with my the cameras by an ADT sales rep. I tried to fix the issue multiple times. Another sales rep (Victoria) admitted to the mistake of the company but stated ADT will not do anything to fix the problem and that there was not a single other person to speak to about the problem. I have updated the BBB with all of my findings.

My family and I have been suffering from a seriously, and, quite frankly, rapidly encroaching crime wave in the foothills of San Francisco. Two wonderful, respectful, and clearly HIGHLY QUALIFIED experts arrived at our house at 9am on the dot. By 5pm, my whole family understood, and were thoroughly competent in, the best security system that money can buy a middle/upper-middle class family with only one very busy breadwinner. Frustrated!!! They have the worst customer support. These guys work with local dealers like Safe Havens and there’s absolutely no coordination between them. I cancelled my services within 3 business days with Safe Havens and they did refund me the installation charges. I wasn’t informed that ADT and Safe Havens is separate and had to cancel separately with ADT as well. Ridiculous! That the customer has to go through such a straining process. I had been charged $65 for 3 consecutive months while reaching out ( 100s of calls) to ADT to cancel my account. It’s hard to speak to any cancellation department agents. Call backs never work. Even if you find one, None of the agents were helpful. They took over 2 months to get my account canceled.
I made it very clear during my calls to every agent that I expected my refunds for all 3 months to be refunded and they did acknowledge the same every time. Once the ADT account got canceled, no refund was processed. I reached back and stayed on the phone line for hours together (always the same) ended up hearing that the refund cannot be processed just because the cancellation happened in the month of Jan (Anything prior to that will still be charged even if you have not used their services) Is it my fault? The point is not when the account was canceled rather if the service was used or not.
****I haven’t used the ADT service for even once but had been charged for 3 months. **** Out of all this chaos, one of the agents from the account management team told me that my dealer had requested and got refunded $118.24 for the 2 months from my end. This is what kicked me off my mind that when the $65 bill was charged directly from my account how could a so called big company ADT simply refunded the dealer and not the customer. The agents of the dealer company are unaware of any such refunds. This is no less than a SCAM to me. I’ve lost all hopes and never ever going to be a prey of such brutal company ADT.

Terrible, terrible, terrible experience. I was with ADT for ~7 years. I was double charged in September 2023. I called in, they fixed for me. In November 2024, they double charged me again. I called in to ask for cancellation. They said they canceled it for me. When I checked my account in again in March 2024, I found I still got charged. Based on their story, the reason I got double charge is I have two accounts at the same address (this is so ridiculous). They only canceled one account for me. I called in many times.
In March 2023, they said they could cancel all my "accounts" in a month (meaning I need to pay for another month). In addition, they need to charge me for the cancellation fee which is $221.18. Firstly I was with ADT for ~ 7 years. There is no more contract. At a late stage, they told me that the additional year contract is an automatic contract. This is even ridiculous. How come they put the customer on another automatic account. I called so many time and they just move you around. They even ask me to write an email to explain to them with more bank statement (is that should be their responsibility to check on their side?). I feel those people just lying. I end up paid 5 months that should be canceled already in addition of the bill I need pay for the cancellation charge of $221.18. Terrible, terrible customer service. Do not get into their trap.

My mother passed away. I was paying for her security system for 9 years. We were on month to month with ADT. Their cancelation system seemed like an endless loop. Kept asking us the same questions then put on hold. Then same questions. When we did talk to someone, they would try to get us to keep the system even though it wasn't my house. Then would say something like, "Okay I just need to get so and so on the line to confirm." But then put us back into this loop again. 1.5 hours to cancel billing. It was funny for the first half hour, then just made us extremely mad. Put the phone on the counter for long periods of hold music. Seemed like a strategy to get us to hang up. Be smart and just do a charge back on your credit card if they don't cancel you promptly.

I pay for the ADT system for my tenants. The system is in Commerce City, Colorado and I'm able to set it and disarm it from my home in LA. That's excellent. But where I live, I have a much better company. I use The Monitoring Center which I pay by the year. That's how good their prices are. Before, ADT gave me a special senior citizen price and landlord covering my tenants. I paid $26.11 a month to cover a small family with a baby. You can't get that anywhere.

The ADT system is good. I haven't asked for assistance. I have no problems with ADT. The problem is with the City of Bellflower. I opened my door trying to get the cats out of the house anyhow without disarming the alarm. So, they sent me a letter. They said that in case the authorities, the police or the fire department is called falsely many times, they're going to put me in jail. I've never called them more than four times per year falsely. I wrote a letter to the City of Bellflower that I find it horrible that they are intimidating me by putting me in jail because of the false alarm. I just acquired the cats recently.
I arm the alarm every night. I am alone. I think I have protection with the alarm. So, I set it every night. The cats wake up early. And three times, I have forgotten to disarm the alarm while I let the cats out. So, it went off. What ADT can do is they can call. If a person answers and tells them, "I'm okay," they don't have to come. I have my the doors secured. I feel good enough. I feel secure at night.

May the 31st, 2011, some guys went down the street, house to house, asked people if they wanted ADT. I told my husband, since this was a bad neighborhood that we live in, “Baby, we need some protection. We need this.” So, they put it up the same day. I wanted to add two more cameras but they told me I had to pay a deal on it. That's why I didn't get it, because I'm here by myself now and I'm afraid to be here by myself. I can sleep better at night.
From my point of view and from my eyesight of looking in and looking out, I need more protection with the cameras with ADT. They never called me back. I tried to do it with a prepaid card. I put $20 on a prepaid card but the card didn't work. So the rep said, “That's okay. That's okay. We'll get back with you later on in the day.” I never heard anything else from it. I'm hurt because I love ADT. I even got signs all out there in my yard, and I need a big camera right here in the back of my house, connected to my phone so I could see what's going on in the back when I'm sleeping at night. I got people all up in up north asking about ADT. One of my friends live way up there in Memphis. I had her to get ADT. A girl in Columbus. I'm working on her, trying to help her get ADT.
I would wake up in the middle of the night. I hit that camera on my phone to see what's going on with my car out there, because people did everything to my car. Also, somebody drove by and took my mailbox off and laid it over the latest ditch. I had to call the police, and they went on my camera and she saw what time they knocked it off. I was back in the bedroom asleep, and I kept hearing something on my front porch. I had a front porch light on. I leave it on all night. I said, “I'm not gonna get up. I'm gonna just go push on my camera ADT on my phone and see who it is.” I didn't recognize this man. He was up there twisting the doorknob and the alarm went off and ADT called me, asked if I was okay. I said, “Yes. I'm fine. Somebody up here just twisting the doorknob, trying to get in.” The rep said, “Let me see. Can I pull it up and see?” They couldn't see it on their end, but I could see it on my end with my phone.
The man said, “Damn it. Let me in here and use this bathroom.” I've never seen the guy in a day in my life. I didn't call the police. I went to my iPhone. I put in loud police sound, and I set it right there in the living room on the coffee table and let it make that alarm. He flew off the porch. I looked at him on my ADT thing, and he said, “She got a police up in this house.” He came back and he still messed with the knob. That fool acted like he didn't understand that was a police alarm. He acted like he didn't care. But I let it keep going and going. I put on this voice thing I did on my phone, and I said, “If you don't leave that doorknob alone, the police is coming down the street and put your ass in jail.” He flew down the street.

I called ADT and made an appointment. The gentleman came in and presented products to me. I told him exactly what my needs were and he met my needs. The system works great and the app works great as well. I love that. One of the things I like about ADT is that they are on the ball. A couple of times, I would forget to turn my alarm system off. They would call my aunt and she would call me, "ADT called and said your alarm is going off." I really appreciate them for being so prompt too. They called and asked, "Do you need the police to come?" I said, "No. I'm good." It's an excellent service and it makes me feel secure. I can sleep at night. It's also very easy to contact them. I call and I wait for a few minutes and they come online. Whatever I have to discuss with them, they help me and give me advice.

My experience with ADT has always been good. I like everything except for the price because I got my package a long time ago and I know they've added certain stuff. But the features included in my package are very simple and so far, they've worked. I live in a two-story house with a basement and I live alone. It gives me security that if somebody breaks in the door down there, the alarm will go off.

We're happy with ADT. We had them work on the system once for a battery replacement and they were able to do it within the day. The tech was excellent and really friendly. I tried to install the battery, but I did something wrong on one of the wires. He came in and had it fixed within 10 seconds.

One time, ADT had to put in a new battery and at another time, they put in a new living room sensor. They also had to come in and wire up my system so I could go get the app and go online. Their techs were great. It took them minutes to do the services, except for the wire up which took a little longer because they had a lot to do. Aside from that, when the alarm had gone off, their response time was very good. It took them five seconds to one minute and they were very quick. Other than that, they were raising the price quite a bit for a while, so I had to call and they knocked it down for me a little.

ADT is wonderful. They sent a very nice young man out and he did a good job. He put the alarm things on the doors and the windows. I got the portable system that I can move from room to room. I have not moved it from room to room because I'm still a little bit leery for fear I'm gonna do something. I also have the thing you put on your keychain. They say if you leave the house and you're in the car but didn't set the alarm, you can set the alarm with the key fob. You can also shut the alarm system off with the key fob when you get home.
Things have worked the way they're supposed to work. Twice, I got up in the morning and forgot that I had the security system on. I have a stray cat out back and feed her every morning. I opened the door to feed her and off went the alarms. ADT called me right away to make sure that everything was fine. Now I put a note on one of the blinds at night that says the alarm system is on so I could shut the system off before I open the door.

When I first moved in, I had a dog and a couple of cats. My dog had a very loud bark and when he barked, it would set off the alarm. So, I told the man that was installing it. He put a glass break on the window so it would not trip the alarm unless someone was in between the alarm and the house and that helped a lot. This is a fairly high crime area and turning on the security system at night makes me feel safer. My notification with ADT wasn’t working and they called me. We fixed it and it’s working now. The customer service reps always call me and respond when I call them. The price was gradually rising and I called ADT and they took some money off because I couldn’t keep up with it.

When I had to make an appointment, they came out and took care of whatever the issue was. When the carbon monoxide needed to be replaced, they replaced it.

The ADT system is very good. It lets me know when somebody is coming in and when somebody is leaving. We had an additional pad put on here about a year or two ago and that was maybe the last time we had someone out. We also had somebody come out to do a repair and he was very efficient and competitive. I was more than satisfied. I wouldn't live without ADT now unless I had to. I'm very pleased with it. I feel secure having that system protecting our home.

ADT came out to our first home a long time ago and they've done full set ups every time we moved into a place and helped us with whatever system challenges we had along the way -- broken sensors, battery dying. The technicians have always been polite and timely and we're very satisfied with the system. It's not very complicated. It's windows, sensors, and a couple of cameras and we can get most of our things done with regard to managing all our devices online with the app. The only thing I would wish for is if there could be consumer installed versions. We'd like to have two more but we have to get the tech back here. If I could do it myself, I would just do it.

Within 10 days of moving into our new home, a gentleman walked up to our front door and introduced us to ADT services. We had a former relationship with ADT. So, there was a comfort level there. And because of that comfort level and the family of products and services that were being proposed to us, we said, "Hey, we think this makes for a good fit." Everything that we've needed, including the installation, and any questions that we had, the gentleman extended us his mobile phone number. He was the salesman, the installer, and he's even been our follow-on contact. So, it's been great. I wasn't acquainted with the new system and how it works. He was available via text and mobile for me just to call him and ask him questions and him to educate and inform me. He walked us through the operation of the new console and how it worked.
We had a follow-on problem that we've come to learn was not a problem at all with the ADT system. I wasn't just operating the system correctly. The gentleman came to our home and said, "Tell me the problem," and he was able to figure it out for me. It's really been a great experience. The gentleman's name was Jody. As far as the product, the mobile app is outstanding. The ability to both unlock the front door with the mobile app as well as the keypad is outstanding. I really like that the control console is relatively intuitive and it's easy. I also like the fact that there's not a lot of low voltage wiring running around the house. A lot of it is wireless. Overall, ADT is a reliable one-stop shop for a complete security solution for our home.

I've been with ADT a long time and they always seem to respond when I have any problems whatsoever. But I've had very few. The technician has always been great. One had to come out to take care of something for me. He couldn't have been nicer and very competent. However, the first time I used it, it was awful. The person wasn't competent as far as I was concerned. But the last two times I've used it, it's been great.

My experience with ADT has been good. The servicemen came in and they were great. They answered all questions and showed me what they were doing. I got broken into one time after they were here. They called my house phone and it was on an answering machine. They were standing in the room where my guns were while the ADT agent was telling me that they were gonna call my cell phone also, so they heard everything they were saying and what they were gonna do. Since then, I have no more home phone. Just the line here. But I wish they would have called the police first. They might have caught them in the act. But everything works. I have three door sensors and one motion sensor. I took the phone out of the house, so they upgraded me to a cell phone feature that's mounted in my basement. That was good. My favorite feature would be the remote control that I carry. I don't have to worry about running in the house and punching the buttons. I just hit the remote and come on in. It's already shut off. Then going out the door, I just hit it and it turns right on. It’s simple.

Since I've been with ADT for 18 years, I've had them out once and it was a battery issue. So I've not been in contact with the customer service for a while. It runs that good. But the reps that I talked to were wonderful. They were very helpful, knowledgeable and patient. When I go out in the morning, I put the alarm on. At night, because my bedroom was upstairs, I'd put it on too. I felt very safe. I need a new controller panel here because it sticks from dust and age. But when I talked to ADT, they said I have to pay for that. Other than that, I've been more than pleased with it.

The functionality of the system seems to work just fine. Although, the smoke detectors were quite old. So I decided that it was best practice to have them replaced because somebody told me they should be changed out every 10 years and they were older. The person that I talked to about replacing my smoke detectors recently was very pleasant and competent. The man who came out to install them was very competent as well. But I called the other day because I was upset about the size of my bill and the person that I talked to was rude and unhelpful. Also, whenever I call, I'm always on hold forever and it seems like they are pretty swamped.

I have had the system since December and it's been awesome. The interface on the app is easy to navigate if I need to secure the home and to turn all the security. It catches when someone opens the door improperly and we are happy that the system doesn't get set off by our medium-sized golden retriever being in the house.

If I have to call ADT, I get terrific service. Occasionally, I have an accident and it's been fine. They call immediately. It's easy to use. I have the app on my phone and I set it and unset it from my phone. However, I recommended a lady get the system and I wasn't aware that I would have gotten $100 if they knew I had referred her. But they wouldn't give it to me after the fact.

I accidentally set my alarm off and they called and I missed the call. I got back home and there was a message on my voicemail. I called the number and got this really nice gentleman and came to find out my permit was not registered with the right county where I live. He helped me through that and told me what I needed to do. It was a great experience. I didn't have to wait in line. I like all of the features offered in our system. It's easy to set the alarm. It's got the button on here for fire emergency and police and I can just hit one of those buttons. ADT is the best around. All my experiences with ADT have been top-notch. Very professional people. They had to come out and update the panel. The young lady that came was so nice. It was like talking with a neighbor.

We've had good luck with ADT but we've also had some problems with them. Mainly, having somebody to come out and when they come out, they don't have time enough or don't have the parts in the vehicle. But overall, they've been pretty good, although not good enough that I would not change because of what it would put you through. I like the way they did things in the past but now, they tell you that you own the equipment and we know we're renting it because we're paying so much a month for it, plus the fee.
Also, the police have got to where they don't pay much attention to them anymore because there's so many false alarms. It makes it hard. We had a very bad bunch of motion detectors that somebody hadn't really done their QC and looked for good equipment. They would replace them but they just didn't last. Finally, they changed them to glass break and I never thought about the acorns. If you got oak trees with acorns, glass break isn't worth a flip either because you let an acorn hit a tin roof and that thing will go off every time you blink your eye. It doesn't make it the best thing in the world but they work better than the motion did.
They did us dirty when we were told we had Pulse. For 10 years, we paid for it and yet I couldn't get my phone to work with Pulse. They kept coming out and telling me they'd see what they could do about it and come to find out, they were lying to us. I asked one of them to come out and prove I got Pulse and when they got out here, they realized we didn't have Pulse. I called and I got ahold of some lady. She talked to me for almost an hour and a half and she ended up in a roundabout way. It took a little bit of time to get it all finished but she changed our system out totally. As far as the keypad, she put the new command, which is like what Pulse was, but a better system and it didn't cost us a dime. Now, we're in pretty good shape. We got to the point that we feel safe to have it, even though it still got some problems because now the system depends on Wi-Fi.

I used to think ADT was good but now, I never get to talk to anyone and I never get anyone to come out. They do everything over the phone, which I think is ridiculous, but it's difficult to get in contact with them that I have to go through five prompts before I can even get to anyone. Also, I usually pay my services for a year and one person would say, "Oh, we'll give you a discount," but I would call back the next day and they're like, "No, we don't do that." I have to pay my stuff right now and I'm very hesitant to do it because you don't even get anybody in the United States. They have somebody in other countries monitor my system and that doesn't make sense to me.

If I have a problem, I call ADT and they help me. When my alarm was going off or if I had a problem with my batteries, they would show me how to do it.

We recently had a guy come in to deal with false alarms and he was spectacular. He figured out the problem. He was very, very thorough, and very professional. So that's on the plus side. But on the minus side, when I've tried to schedule that repair and other repairs, it has been just a nightmare of multiple calls, numerous attempts to get to the right place and being shunted from one place to the other. It's been awful and huge long wait at times. Their telephone service is terrible. But the individuals that I've dealt with have been very, very professional. We've had a lot of false alarms, but it's been fixed. ADT is solid, reliable, but can be difficult to deal with.

The reps have always been helpful. Whenever I call to make a payment or something like that, I've never had any problem with ADT. Also, the installation is perfect, although I don't like the four-minute pause in the cameras. If the clip captures something at 4:17 and the clip is a minute and seven seconds or whatever, it resets after four minutes. I can't stand that and they need to fix that. Other than that, I like the ADT app. That's the main thing I like. They've discontinued the Pulse app but I still like it.

When I called ADT’s customer service, they resolved whatever the issue was. I just have a couple of the basics and it’s been working and satisfies what I need. I like what I got. I haven't had an increase in cost in quite a while, so I can't complain about that. Not in today's climate.

I've had a couple of glitches here and there and sometimes it works and sometimes doesn't. But they've been fixable. I try to wait and be patient. The other day, I had to speak to a manager because I had a problem back in my home in Vegas and it took three days before he got back to me. But he did get back and everything is working great right now. I've referred ADT to other people and I would refer them with anybody because they're a good company.

My alarm system wasn't working and the person I called said it should reset itself in a couple of days and it never did. I finally called back after a week and a half and the young lady helped me reset it. I was on the AT&T power line and when the power went out, the alarm started beeping. So, we got it taken care of. My alarm has been in here about seven years. I set it and it works. $57 is expensive, especially now that I'm retired and a senior. But it protects the house so you just make a way to pay it. It comes out of my account. ADT is a good company. They send me text messages trying to get me to upgrade to the cameras and different things but I just delete it because it’s not free.

I switched to ADT because the price was convenient since I retired. The sales rep was nice and the installer was very professional. He took his time and showed us how to do things. It's a good system for elder couple, especially when I was ill. The door rings hollow when somebody opened the door or something, which helps a whole lot.

When I needed to troubleshoot something, they were not able to resolve the issue over the phone. Once, we also did like a Facetime call where they could see the product and even in that instance, they weren't able to help out. They always required a tech coming over to my home. And I've had a lot of issues with ADT. There couple of times when they placed the sensors on the walls where they were not done adequately and they would fall off. This happened after several visits. Also, I felt like for the first couple of years, I had a couple battery issues that needed replacement. That happens quite frequently. So for the first few years, I called ADT a lot and I did consider switching over to another company a couple of times. But it's been okay for the past couple of years, although I noticed that the coverage like the sensors do not provide adequate coverage in my space. Other than those, I'm very happy with the price I'm paying and I got an additional discount for being a loyal customer last year.

We've been with ADT for 14 years. They call back immediately when we've accidentally set off the alarm or had an emergency. We've also had issues with low batteries and that kind of things and the techs who came out were great.

My system is fantastic, and I really enjoy it. I like my keypad and how I can do whatever I want to on the system. I'm very satisfied, and I know my house is protected, especially when I leave. I feel very secure with this system because if something happens while I'm gone, ADT will notify the police and everybody will come over here and find out what's going on. Inside my house, if something goes wrong, I know that they'll call whoever needs to be called, like the fire or the police department. ADT also comes over, puts stuff in and fixes different things in my system. It's been very easy to deal with them. I would recommend them highly if someone would like a new security system.

ADT is reliable. I've had people come out to look at my system and all of them have been good. I had trouble finding what was going on with my system. It wasn't engaging. The rep, Jose, spent a lot of time here and figured it out. He was excellent. There was one guy that tried to sell me something extra but Jose didn't. He was thorough and honest. I'm satisfied with my system. It works. I like to put it on at night and be able to move around the house. I also like their website where I can go on and do some tutorials if I wanna do something creative with the system.

I love ADT. I had them many years ago and when I moved, I called them back up. I like the way they act. They are always there for any question you have. They're not like some places you do business with who don't have time for you once they get your business. ADT never has not been there for me when I call them. I chat with them a lot too. I'm thinking about going with ADT for the camera system as well. I have one, but I'm with T-Mobile and ADT doesn't do business with T-Mobile.

We've had ADT for years and we've been pleased with them. They're a little bit on the expensive side, but I've always had good service with them. A few years back, I did an upgrade. It extended the contract but I've had no complaints with them.

We recently replaced all the sliders and windows in the house, which meant the old ADT system was a mishmash of wired and wireless devices and bunches of wires hanging out all over the place. I decided that since we replaced the windows, we would go ahead and upgrade the entire system with wireless sensors. We were very happy with the process. The technician that they sent here to do the upgrade was outstanding. He explained everything and was very helpful. We've only been using the new system for a few weeks, but so far, we're very happy. It's easy to use and we've managed to find our way through all the things that we wanted to see. We live in a gated community but the added layer of security makes us feel very comfortable.

Our ADT system is alright. The only thing is when the internet goes or the electricity cuts off, the whole system shuts off and we need to reset the whole camera system again. So, that is really painful. We have to do it ourselves. They are there to help, and they walk us through it, but every time, I'm not here, then my wife has to climb the ladders and get the camera set down.

The guy that we first talked to was excellent. He walked us through the whole process and explained everything to us. We have the cameras which I like. I also like the doorbell. You can see who's ringing your doorbell. I'm happy with the features that we have. I feel safe with ADT. When we travel, we make sure we have our security on.

The lady that took the information was great and asked me if I had any other questions. Everything was put in neatly. Everything's operable. If I open the window, I can hear it. If I open the door, I can hear. I can set my alarm when I'm away from home then disarm it when I come back in. The app's on the phone. I was in Wisconsin a couple of weeks ago and when I pulled up my camera on the garage, I could see in front of the house. I could also see my neighbors letting their pets wreck my grass. If you got something you wanna secure, I would go with ADT. I have no problems out of them. So far, the price is right. It's less than $100 and cheaper than my cable bill.

I like the panel now better than when I started with ADT. It's touchscreen. They put in the sensors on all the windows and doors and I have two touchscreens, one in my bedroom and one where I come in the house. When I needed the batteries replaced, I wanted somebody to come out. They said that'd be $100. They sent me the batteries and told me to replace them myself. I followed directions and got it done. The batteries would die in a day or two. I live on a street where a hospital is so there's a lot of traffic. I couldn't aim the cameras down so that it wouldn't pick up all that so I took it off.
There was a time ADT pissed me off. My alarm went off at 4:00 in the morning. ADT called and the guy said not to worry about it. He said there was a glitch in the system and there were a lot of calls going on. I was thinking why they didn't let us know. One other time, my alarm went off. They came out and said a rodent had eaten through the line. I wish they didn't charge so much. They started off at 49 which was higher than I was paying before I moved. Now, they went up again. I know some friends that have other services and they told me they were paying much less. But it was one of those where the provider sent it out to the house and they installed it themselves.

I've been changing to ADT because I liked it. All my relatives has it, too. It's just that lately, when I moved to this new house, I always have a problem. I don't know why. Maybe they gave me the very old fashioned gadgets. I told them to do the whole alarm system. They gave me everything supposedly free. Now they get you by not paying the whole thing. But they did the bell. I had a problem with it before because now it is gonna be on its fourth year this summer, and I already changed the things twice. Now, this one, they were not even seven months. And when they came, they also want me to pay for them coming to my house and checking. I said, “Wait a minute. Your thing doesn't work. You gave me this thing. Don't work. Why I have to pay?”
They said, “Okay. You're not gonna buy. Can you do another year with us? And then we don't charge you for whatever.” I said, “Okay. I stay till June this year.” So, that was okay. The bell is supposed to be good, and this guy told me it's okay. They gave me a brand new bell. I hope it works. The guy who came to install the first time didn't have the bell with him because they only come and check what's wrong. The guy who came this morning was really good. I was happy with him. He knew what he was doing. I like ADT but I don't like that I have to pay because I didn't break it. It's their equipment. They charge me $59 and change. Overall, still, ADT is a great company. I like it.

ADT's customer service has been okay but it's not always easy to get through to a person. They want you to go through the website to file for service, and I just want a person. I've had the system for years. They had to upgrade it because they bought Brinks out. The installation was more than I anticipated. The quote they gave me was not the same as when they came out and did it. It cost more than what they said, but my package is what I expected.
I would have been more cautious with the window situation. I have windows that open in two directions, and they did not equip it correctly for my window. So, I had to take more action. If you open from one direction, the alarm doesn't work, so I have to make sure that it cannot be open that way with a bar in the window. Otherwise, for them to come out and fix it would have cost double because they would have had to put two devices on, which they should have told me that when they installed it, but they didn't.

One of the pieces on the door fell off. I called ADT and they made a return call, but I wasn't available, and I hadn't called in back. But other than that, I'm happy with the service. I just need to get a technician out here to fix that. When I dealt with the sales guy before, he went over the basic things and some things that were optional if I wanted them. I got the basic system that they have and then we scheduled an appointment and arranged for the method by which I would be paying. Everything's been good, so far.
The installer that came out called ahead of time to confirm our appointment. Then he came out at the appointed time the following week and we discussed various things about what I could do and then things outside of the basic. He gave me a quote for them and I just selected the ones I wanted. I left him here and he did the installation. But I got back before he left and he showed me how to program everything and set up my password and my system name. So he did a good job.

The system is working fine. We had an alarm recently, and we got a response. So, that was great. It was really quick. It was like we couldn't get to the alarm system before the phone was ringing. The response time was great. They were extremely efficient with what they helped us with. I would recommend ADT over any other if somebody asked me. I'm happy with them. I will continue with them.

I have a good experience with ADT. I've been using them for quite some time. I called them one time a couple of years ago and had the system changed over to a different model. The only thing I had to call them about was the bill. They would take it out on my checking and I didn't know when it was raised. So I stopped that and I called them about it. I wanna pay my own bill and they did that. I feel very safe with this ADT in my home.

We've had the sensing unit go bad several times and they've had to replace them. The sensing unit was replaced four different times since 2001. One time, the wires went bad, and they replaced some of the wiring. I have one of their own telephone numbers. If it was an emergency, I don't call them but I go through the office. So I've had pretty good service. We had one time that it went off, and it showed the fire alarm when we were on vacation, and the fire department had to come. But it was a false alarm. Overall, the service is good. The only thing that I'm a little dissatisfied with is sometimes, you have a several day wait to get the technician out here. Normally, it's within two days, but sometimes, it's three or four days. I would like it to be a little more prompt.

I had an alarm issue when I was having my windows changed. So ADT had to come back and reinstall the alarms in those windows. All of their feature are terrific. I've got a panic button and I always have it with me when I'm out gardening in the back. Also, they have a chime, so you know if someone even opened a door. It's an excellent service. I've always felt protected and I wouldn't be without it. Whenever I need them to come out or there's an issue, they come out immediately. ADT is a fantastic organization. I highly recommend them.

When I first got ADT, they ask you for your verbal pass code and I did not know it. They didn't have it. But the rep stayed on the phone and asked me some other personal questions that let him know that I was who I was to take care of me in a professional way. I like that I could set the alarm in my house and be protected while I'm not around. I can also set it from my phone.

The rep who came to the house was extremely courteous and very professional. He notified me as he was on his way, came on time, and was professionally dressed. When he showed up, he installed the system and did a very good job. He did all the wiring that was necessary and then walked my son and I through everything that we had to know how to work the system. It was a very good experience and we're very satisfied with the system. It's doing exactly what I would have hoped a security system for a house would do.

When we bought a new house, the representative for ADT talked about the value and he said that it was part of a new community and that they would guarantee never to raise the rates as a result of us getting ADT at the time that we purchased the house in this particular community. It seemed like a good deal so we chose them. The installation went real smoothly and the technician was knowledgeable. Things have held up pretty well. But I contacted the local representative a couple years ago when ADT increased their rates. I explained to them that that was not to happen because we had a guarantee. They said the local person could not make that guarantee so we went back and forth. Eventually, it was worked out and I was able to keep the ADT plan at the original rate as promised.
Other than that, I'm very satisfied with the features overall, although, the camera doesn't work as well as it did when it was originally installed. Also, it seemed more sensitive than it is now. I used to be able to see what people were doing, going by the road, and if they parked in front of the house. I don't have that feature anymore. But it gets us by and it's also a tradeoff because you don't want the camera going off every time a car goes by. The rest of the equipment has worked very well without any other problems.

I've been in this home for 30 years and we've had ADT ever since I built this house. I love them. It's great service and they're Johnny-on-the-spot. If the alarm ever goes off for any reason, I get a call immediately. There were times when one of my children or my wife came in the house and forgot to turn off the alarm and within five minutes, ADT is right there.
Also, I'm extremely satisfied with the price. I don't remember any increases and if there were, they were minute and they didn't concern me. One time, they called to say that a new equipment had to be put in and the old one taken out as an upgrade and there wasn't any charge. The technician did it and everything was great. I've recommended them to several friends and neighbors that have moved in. I've never had a problem speaking up, saying that I like ADT.

I've been with ADT for over 30 years and I love them. I've had other companies before and the services may have been okay, but not comparable to ADT when I come to my customer service and the price. They consider me as a good customer when they lower my prices because of the years I've been with them. They're a good company and I don't plan on changing.

The installation went fine and I'm very satisfied with the features. Also, it's pretty easy to get in touch with their customer service. But we upgraded and had cameras put in and we had a problem with the people who came to show us what kind of cameras we need. They sold us the wrong cameras and didn't know how to install them right. It was eventually solved and it's working fine.

ADT is reliable and the features in my package do the job. The only time it went off was a warning to me that something was wrong and the battery was low. The main battery is a nine-volt lithium battery and they generally last about 10 years. The battery that I had was 11 or more years old and it had to be replaced. The person who came solved it very quickly and he was very professional. Since it has been replaced, it's working fine.

My experience with ADT has been good. Whether it's a smoke alarm, a sensor not working, they detect anything and they'll always call. At one point, one of the sensors was coming apart. It was due to the heat. They came in a timely manner. Their response time is quick, just seconds, if my alarm goes off, if they think it's a smoke or fire, because it happened more than once and they sent someone. We were there and they called me, but I was doing something else and I wasn't paying attention to my phone. They had called me three or four times. They showed up and they checked everything. Their cost is also reasonable.

I had a Ring, but it wasn't doing what I wanted it to do. I went to ADT and it's still not doing all I wanted to do. The camera is too slow. Somebody can pull in the driveway, I don't know about it until after the little ding. I bring it up and there's nobody there. I missed a whole lot of people coming to the door because the camera didn't pick it up fast enough. The doorbell wasn't what it was cracked up to be. I got the camera in one room and it says it's offline, but I'm not worried about it right now. I'll work on it later.

I was always happy with ADT until I needed a new panel. The technician came out and he looked. He said, "You don't need that. You just need that new thing." But it was on his form that that was what he had to do. I had to call ADT and say I didn't need that stuff. But no one called me back for three weeks. I called Ackerman. They came out that day and I ended up with Ackerman. But now I'm back to ADT because ADT bought Ackerman. But we love ADT. They've been very good and they respond quickly.

I've had ADT for eight years now. One of the sensors didn't work on one of the doors. And one of the fellows came in and fixed it. It's been working great since. We like the system. I like that we feel secure when we go to bed at night and when we leave the house too.

I'm happy with ADT. I have downstairs, motion detector, upstairs and the doors. They had changed something last year. They let me know ahead of time and there was no problem. Whatever they installed seems to work fine and they're in good places. The price is a little high, but that's what it is.

I am having problems and we contacted ADT. They tried to fix it, but it's not working, and I haven't contacted them back. Other than that, I have had no issues. Would I recommend ADT? Yes. The type of people that I had worked with are friendly, cordial, and knowledgeable in their work, and I feel safe with having the online system through ADT.

My security system makes me feel safer because I can put it on at night while I'm home and walk away if I need to. A couple of times when I didn't lock my door all the way, ADT called and let me know that it was not closed. I'm happy with ADT and the cost is reasonable, but I'm a senior citizen now. I should get a better rate by being a loyal customer. Other than that, it's been a good experience.

ADT's reps were nice and the guy that put the system all in did a good job. I've been happy with the package I got, but every now and then, I'll forget to turn off the alarm and it'll go off. When that happens, they contact me right away. One time, I've gone downstairs to put my luggage in my car and I was going to take a trip. But I forgot to turn the alarm off, so ADT called the police on me and the police came. And that happened a couple of times. But luckily, the police have not sent me a ticket yet because I told them that I had forgotten. ADT also talked to them and they have understood.
