    The sales rep was wonderful and the installation was great. The app is great too. When I come into the house, I can disarm the system. But when it's on my phone, I would like to have to put a code in there to disarm it because if somebody found my phone, they could just disarm the system and come inside the house. I only had to contact customer service one time because I accidentally turned the alarm on by mistake and it went off. It was my fault.

    ADT's rep was knowledgeable. He knew what he was doing. But the cameras are not cheap. ADT didn't tell me that until they came to do the install. It was neat. Also, the cameras are spotty. I constantly have to reset them. They lose connection for no reason other than because they just want to. When these cameras lose connection, they don't record. Also, they're not as high quality as I expected them to be. ADT doesn't know what the issue is. They came out here and told me to get a Wi-Fi extender. I did that. That was supposed to fix the issue, but it still hasn't. ADT now told me it's my house wiring. I'm not buying that.

    When we moved here in Chino, the alarm was in this place and I just kept it because I was satisfied with the service. There was no need to explore anything else. I told ADT that I wanted to keep it because of I'm deaf and I noticed that when I open the doors, it sounds off. So, I was more secure. I decided to keep it for safety and I'm not sorry I did. If I'm alone at night, I feel comfortable knowing that if somebody tries to break in, I'm gonna hear this little noise. My experience with ADT has been wonderful. The customer service team has always been great and very helpful. There was a change in the contract because my nephew was living with us and he wanted to pay for it, and when he moved out, I called ADT. I asked them if they could change it to my name again. But I'm still getting emails in my nephew's name. So, I don't know if something was lost in the communication. But other than that, I am happy with ADT’s service.

    My husband has a diagnosis that requires safety, which made me choose ADT. It’s a brand you know of and you see stickers in people’s windows. I have the basic package but it’s exactly what I thought we needed right now. When I had false alarms, ADT immediately contacted me. I have told folks in a caregiver group about it and I have suggested they look into it. It was simple and had a reasonable price range, and the tech was good.     I purchased a home in the Catskill, which is rather isolated, and I wanted to feel more secure when I stayed there. The system serves its purpose. There were times when the oven may have started to oversmoke or one of the side kitchen doors opened and the alarm went off. The police arrived and everything was fine. I feel much more at peace knowing the system is there, even when I'm not at the house. Most recently, I had to change the battery of one of the smoke and heat detectors and they were really helpful. We couldn't get the light to reset to green again and every time I've called, everyone has always been very helpful, no matter what time of the day or night. The upfront is expensive, but the peace of mind is totally worth it and the monthly maintenance is affordable.

    There's a beeping that goes on, which may be one of the batteries. Their guy was out here once since I had it and did some service. It’s annoying and I wish that could be settled. Calling to get assistance wasn't the easiest thing to do. Even though I pay insurance on the system, the person that I was talking to apparently wasn't aware of that. The price they were telling me was just totally outrageous for service. They should have known that before I had to go into details about having that covered. Other than those, it's a reliable and good service.

    I've had no problems with ADT. I feel more secure having the doors that cover my front and back doors. Then, they put the things on some of the windows to keep people from opening them. I would like for them to come out and out check once in a while, though. But if you call them, you can talk with them easily.

    I've had very bad experience with ADT. First of all, they sent me a bill for 200 something. I don't know what the hell that was, which I disputed. It charged my credit card. Then last time, a tech came here and he did some work. It was working. But now it's getting wacky again. I can't even turn my alarm on. I'm ready to call them again. Not good service. I've been with them for so long and it's not very easy to get in contact with an actual person. When I call the 800 number, I tell them, “I need a service. It's some problem. Could you have somebody call me?” First of all, they don't call me and it would say, “No. Press this.” Very dissatisfied.

They're also not good to talk with because it doesn't sound like they're from America when I'm talking to them. They don't speak very good English. They're difficult to work with.     I've had a good experience with ADT over the years. I have peace of mind having them. When I leave in the morning, I feel very confident that my house is watched over. The alarm is great. A couple of times my back door came on. They called me to get the code and make sure everything was okay. The carbon monoxide sensor had also gone off a couple of times on its own. I didn't even have anything cooking in the house. I had told them it was a false call. I was trying to tell the people my code to stop them but they had come so quick.

    We've had these hurricanes and light problems with CenterPoint. It gives me great updates on messages and lets me know that something's going on with the electrical. I like that. The times I talked to the people one on one, they were asking me if I needed to have somebody sent to the house. I have a couple more years with ADT on this Alder contract and as long as they’re gonna keep the payments under $50 a month, I'll be fine with that. If others can afford it, they should get ADT as well.

    The installation was easy and simple. I like that I can check it on my phone to make sure things are okay. Two months ago, I had one of my glass break sensors go out. The batteries went dead and they wanted $24 for the batteries. I went to Lowe's and bought the batteries for 12 bucks. When one of the other ones had gone out a year before, they sent me the batteries for free.

    I called ADT to let them know that my cameras were not working and that I was changing Wi-Fi. They tried to walk me through it and after they did, they told me that I would have to do it myself. They sent me some instructions to do it myself. I told them I needed a person to come out but they said in order for a person to come out, I would have to pay. I was not pleased with that at all, especially with them being a vendor that took over a contract that was already in place. My security alarm is not even working at 50% and I'm still paying for it every month. This has been three months. I'm looking for other alternatives for security.

    ADT is little bit better than the smaller security company that we had though both had some functional difficulties with the system working in our house. We have more false alarms than we do real alarms. I have to mess with the system every now and then because it receives false signals, and it requires some manipulation of the control box to close the signal off.

    We had some issues with the signal being received by the main box so we have some extenders to make that happen. At the time, ADT said that our system was old and to upgrade it to a newer system. We've had them for 10 years and to put their new system in place was going to be $800. The new system would have required a laptop or a Google tablet that needed to be part of the new system and we didn't wanna mess with stuff like that. The large cost and the increased technology were not something we were interested in. We told them no and to put the old system back. But the technicians they send are very customer-friendly. They worked hard to find the right location for things and to install it such that it fit in with our home. However, the office people who do the sales were not quite as upfront as they could have been about the cost of things. They are questionable.

    We've had good relations with ADT. We like the reliability, the ease of setting our system, and the fact that with the upgrade in the system to 5G, the functionality has been very good. We used to have trouble on vacation before the upgrade, getting things on our cell phones. But now, we can turn on lights when we're 2,000 miles away as long as we have Wi-Fi. We love that about it. We like the peace of mind of knowing that our home is being monitored. It’s very reassuring.

    If we don't respond to an alarm, they contact us so we've been very happy with that aspect of ADT. We have a WaterBug in one of our sump holes that lets us know if the sump hole was filling up with water so our basement doesn't get flooded. It happened with a quick rain overnight and we were asleep. ADT called us and we went down. We were able to save the basement from being flooded so we appreciated that. Whenever there has been an upgrade such as when they went to 3G then 5G, they have sent people out. They have to come about 90 miles for us from Peoria to the Champaign, Illinois area. Nobody's been grumpy. In fact, when the last upgrade came, the gentleman gave us his personal cell number if we had any problems.

    ADT is a necessary evil. It's a reliable system, but I don't have the best working relationship with the company. I don't value it as customer service-focused. I more value it as a means to an end. Most recently, we had an alarm malfunction. The front door sensor had faulted. As a result, it locked my fiancee and I out of both our Alarm.com and My ADT apps so we weren't able to disarm the house and reset it. We got the distress call and I gave the password. I was in the middle of the Georgia Aquarium at this function with 2,000 colleagues of mine. I took time away, handled this for about 15 minutes and got the code. It was incredibly frustrating to not be able to work with the techs that called us to be able to resolve the issue remotely because they don't do panel resets.

    The house is in Austin, Texas and I can't move those two together when I'm at a conference. I understand that there are different divisions and departments, but I would have liked that to have been able to get resolved quickly. I was transferred to tech support to work on my app, but that wasn't the issue. Then tech support just rang and rang for about three minutes. We travel internationally a lot and having an unreliable system or tech support that's not able to help me nationally or internationally is why we're looking forward to the end of this 36-month contract to go to another vendor. Also, the sensors are a little bulky, so I'd tell others to get the ones embedded in the windows when they're building their brand-new house like we did.

    I will never recommend ADT to anybody. They suck. I've had a low battery for over a year, but no one's doing anything. They told me that there's no need to have a battery change, but the system keeps telling me the battery is low. The second time I reached out, it took five days for them to get back to me. They also raised my price without telling me ‘cause of the contract. They said they weren't gonna do it, but they still did it. I can't use the system. It can't record or do anything. When I needed it, it only recorded five minutes so I missed the vehicle. It was so ridiculous. I want to discontinue, but I can't ‘cause they're gonna charge me for it.

    I don't like ADT. They lie. They make deals over the phone but won't keep them when we go about the business of trying to make them happen. The system broke one time. The push button thing broke, and I had to get a locksmith at my own cost to break into my house so that they could come a few days later to fix it. All of our transactions have been unhappy. The people who work there are very nice, but they're a terrible company.

    ADT is very expensive for the service they are giving, and I curse the day that I spent $12,000 to install the system. When the system resets during the night and it wakes up people at 4:00 in the morning just to tell the reset, it's not a good idea. The system works really badly. Because they set batteries, even if the battery is new, it will still go on to alarm. I also have a protection that they should show up when I have problem but they do not show up.

    We had to deal with ADT not too long ago and it was a real pain in the butt. We had an issue with our alarm system and we called them up to have them come out and take a look at it. They said it would be a virtual appointment but that was not what we called them for. I told them that somebody had to actually be there to can fix it. And they did not come out when we asked them to. So we had that going on and it took about four days to get somebody to help us out, come out and take a look at it. The people wo came out were polite and they resolved the issue. But I don't know how they're going to stay in business with the way they're doing everything now on a computer.

    The overall service of the ADT company is lacking. They say it's fixed, but it's not. Then I schedule an appointment, but the appointment that they send me is not what we agreed upon. I eat it anyway and wait another week. They come out, tell me they fixed the alarm, but the alarm isn't fixed. I call them again and have to wait a another week. Then they come out and say, "These don't look like ADT sensors." I went through ADT, so I don't know why that would be the case.

    The technician changed the sensor and I haven't had a problem since. But I had to call, scream, and be transferred to another department to get a credit. Every time I asked for a supervisor, they would try something else. I understand they have their own protocols and procedures, but it was at a certain point. I was asking for them to give me somebody that could make a decision, but they never would and never could. If I had a choice to go to someplace else, I 100% would when that time comes. But for convenience right now with my kids and my wife, this is what has to be.

    I've had calls from ADT about about smoke alarms going off in the lake house up in Winnipesaukee when it gets too cold under the house. They also usually let me know if something's going on and they go fix it. This is a big place that I take care of and it has 50 bathrooms in it.     I had a home security at one time and I've never been robbed. But they went up in price, and so I dropped them. Then, I got a special deal with ADT through State Farm Insurance.     The ADT guy came by and he was a nice person. The installation went good but the equipment stays in one spot and doesn't roam. My Ring system that I had up already does more than what the ADT thing is doing. Also, one of the sensors keep saying it's out of service. I thought about calling and having them just come and take their stuff. It's $50 a month and it ain't worth it to me.

    If you put a card on file for ADT+ it's nearly impossible to change that payment method, for example you have to go to the website and input new card info then complete a captcha. I’ve done this around 20 times and it never updated even though it says it has, so I called to change it by phone. The person fixed it and it ran on the correct card for that month then next month it ran on the old card that shouldn’t be on file anymore and over-drafted an un-used account. Pretty insane a company this well known and expensive can’t make a functioning payment method system.

    Beyond over ADT. I don’t like to point fingers & maybe it’s my fault for not doing enough research before going under contract with ADT. But I will never recommend this company. I understand that systems go down and that’s frustrating but there should be procedures in place that occur when this happens. How can we trust ADT with our home security when they can’t even help us with support?? I’ve been trying to log into my account all day with no luck & I’ve talked to multiple customer support reps who say they have emailed me my contract and I haven’t received anything. It’s so frustrating not to see what contract they are referring to every time I reach out. Long story short, do not use ADT for your home security. Thank you!

    The ADT security part is great but the ADT startup is very poor. I sat with the saleslady and she asked what I wanted. I said I want my doors and my windows protected. I also want a control panel in the kitchen and and another one in the bedroom and I wanna get an automatic lock on the garage door going to the garage. She said they'd get me those and that she had five doorbell cameras that she could give her customers. She said she was gonna give me one of them and that I was gonna get a doorbell camera, which would be free for me. I said great and they went ahead and started everything.

    The guy showed me the panel and when I asked where the other one is, he said he forgot it. I asked where was my lock for the garage door and he forgot that too. Also, I said the saleslady said I had a free doorbell camera for the front door and he said that was up to her. I said it's up to him to give it to me and put it on but he said he didn't know anything about that. Now, we've had ADT now for almost three years. Every day, we have to carry our kitchen panel to the bedroom and then plug it in and then in the morning, carry it from the bedroom back into the kitchen and plug it in.

    We have to use our phone to check whether the alarm is on before she goes to work in the morning. A couple of times, she left with the alarm was still on because we don't have a panel in the kitchen to look at it and I forgot to look at my phone. In other words, when I get up in the morning till my wife going to work, I'd have to carry it into the kitchen and when I go back and lay down, I'd have to carry it back into the bedroom again. That's so stupid, turning this panel back and forth. It's a big inconvenience and I'm really sick and tired of it, really.

    I called them up and told them I want my second panel that I ordered at the beginning. They said it'll cost me $360. I said it's supposed to be part of my original program but they said now, it's after the initial program and I have to pay for it in cash. I've called people over and over again, trying to get a second panel. They won't give me a second panel. Anybody who asks how's my ADT, I say it's terrible. The alarm system part is good. It works. They open the door to go to the garage and the alarm is on, it goes off. But I don't know what's going off because it's in the bedroom. So, I have to look at my phone and then we have to shut it off. Their reps would call and I’d say, “It's just we forgot to turn it off. It's in the bedroom.”

    But there are so many more people out there that are so much more efficient in buying your products at the beginning than ADT. I had ADT in my other house for 17 years but I had a rep who gave me all really good stuff. It was a wonderful service for 17 years and I was so happy about it. I had a voice that every time there was a break-in or something like this or you go in through a door when the security was on, it would say, “Security alert. The police are being called. Leave immediately.” It would say that really loud and I'd hear it through the whole house. But this one just goes “Beep” a little bit on the screen and it turns red and doesn't do a whole lot.

    I've known about ADT for a very long time. I've had three or four security systems from different companies over the last 30 years and I always thought of ADT as being one of the top providers in that area. But it's more expensive and I would say the system doesn't really work as well. Also, it wasn't long after the system was installed that, for some reason, the little Alexa device that hooks it all up and coordinates the action of the camera lost its WiFi connection. I have a really good WiFi connectivity here and there should have been no reason whatsoever for this little device to have failed and lost its connection. But I didn't care that much about it and I just didn't even bother with it anymore. I've been dissatisfied with that. I don't use the system all that often. I live in a very secure gated community with an extremely low crime rate. However, I do live alone and I like the security of having a system that I can contact if I'm ill and need help or if something really out of the ordinary happens crime-wise.

    ADT already had a system in this house when I purchased it. I shopped a lot but the reps assured me that a lot of the equipment here did not need to be replaced. They were wrong and they replaced it all. It was the most horrible consumer experience I’ve ever had with an alarm company. I was led to believe that it would be a cost savings to be with them. I was very clear with them about my goal, which was to have an integrated system where I could put my garage doors up and down, and turn my lights off and on, more than just security. They're supposed to be very good with that. But they're not. ADT sells you the system and then turns everything over to a subcontractor. In this case, the company was local here in Ohio. Then, they inform you that 90 days later, ADT has no responsibility for it. There’s nothing I can do.

    The house has three furnaces. I have thermostats that don't work with the ADT system and I have to go to Google Home to use. ADT was unable to deliver what they promised. They're the most expensive monthly monitoring and yet, they far underperformed the Guardian system I had in my other house. The cost against the quality is not good at all. ADT provide no service.

    I went through three different installers and it wasn't that they just sent me different people. It's that the fellow who started installing the system was no longer with the company. Then there was a second guy who is no longer with the company. The employee turnover was so great that I didn't get any continuity. It wasn't a comprehensive installation. It was pieces, which is exactly what I didn't want. I wouldn't have cared if it was different people if they were all working from a comprehensive plan. But each one would come in, and they were not trained well enough to do the job I wanted. This is a $3 million house. I wasn't skimping on anything and price was not a consideration. And they still did a terrible job. I don't want anybody else to spend the kind of money I spent and wind up with a lousy system like I've got.

    I'm not happy at all with ADT. When they called, I decided not to go with the plan. Then a little bit of time went on and they kept calling back. They were kind of pushy, telling me that they had a special going on. I finally went on with it and they set up a date to come out to the house. They were a no-show that day and I missed a day of work for nothing. They said the cameras didn't come in. They set it up for the next day on Saturday and when the service guy came out, I was telling him about it and he said that he had the cameras in his van for a week and he just lives right around the road from me. Then, I asked him if needed me to move something. I had some items where he was gonna be working but he said he'd be fine. Next thing you know, crash, a lamp hit the floor and broke.

    I have four cameras, the keypad, and some window sensors. The last service guy that came out hooked me up with a motion sensor and put it in the house. I've got a little Chihuahua dog and I came home one day and somebody had kicked her in the face. It cost me $450 at the emergency room. To this day, I still believe that somebody has figured out a way to delete stuff off of my cameras. But the last technician who came out told me it was impossible for somebody to erase sections on what you recorded. Also, when they were putting my cameras up, I specifically told them I do not want any blind spots. If it overlaps, that's fine, but absolutely zero blind spots and I got three or four blind spots.

    I filled out a survey online on my emails and someone up on the main office responded and he said he was gonna get back with me but I didn't hear anything until two weeks ago. I got another text saying that they were sorry my email got put back and they weren't able to respond to it. About a week or two ago when they did respond, they said that they were gonna get one of their top technicians to call me.

    But I just blocked them from drawing money off of my card because as far as I'm concerned, they can come get everything. I had called to customer service and they didn't even have my name and information in the system right. They had a password that I did not give them. I don't know what the mix-up of it was. And I was put on hold for a good while and then it went on to say that I get money back guarantee up to a certain date. When the lady came back on on the phone, I told her that while I was on hold, the recordings mentioned a refund and they can come get the cameras. I told her I would just like to have my money back for what I've spent for nothing. I'm just done. I've spent a lot of money on this stuff trying to keep my house safe and it's just not working.

    I've been with ADT since 2004. The only thing is I wanted to get better outside monitoring and they could not do it without replacing my entire system. But I'm satisfied with my service. I have three security systems now and between them, I feel fairly secure that I've got a good feel of what's going on around my house and I feel comfortable with what I've got.

    I've had both of my major security systems fail at the same time. I've got a sump pump monitor and my sump pump failed. One sump pump monitor did not alert and the other they had down as fire alarm. I had five fire runs one day to my house. I woke up in the middle of the night to a call and I didn't necessarily catch which system was alerting. I was not sure which company was calling the fire department and which company jammed and the alert didn't go off when my sump pump failed. We finally figured out it was a sump pump and everything was okay. Also, my indoor cameras do a great job. I just upgraded part of that system.

    Another fun event was when my hot water heater had sprung a leak three times. One time, I was home and as soon as it alerted, I got the call and I could do something about it. But I've had my basement flood twice and the first time, I said the company failed to alert because they had not put that part of my system back in service after repair work. Consistent with that, I've been having water leaking in cracks in the basement wall and it's been setting off the monitors. I got the wall fixed and at the same time, they did some repair work and never put that part back into service. So when I wasn't getting alerts, I didn't think anything about it because I've had repair work done.

    We started with ADT when we had a burglary in 2004. We switched because they wanted $200 for one of those key fob remotes. We thought that was really ridiculous. We had a salesman from Fluent, which at the time was Strike Alarm. We switched to them, and we were with them for 9.5 years. Up until we switched back to ADT, they were really horrible at taking care of their customers. We had a control panel that we were having problems with. They were really dragging their feet like nobody's business to change it out.

    The control panel from Fluent Home finally bit the dust, and we had to go with no security system until ADT came in. ADT came to the rescue on that deal. I'm satisfied with everything about ADT except we're leapfrogging between the bill notification and receiving the bill in the mail. I'm dealing with it. It's not a real inconvenience, but that's the only thing that makes ADT look funny. What's going on is they send me a bill before it's due. It's on the 20th this time, and I need to get the physical bill in the mail like the 1st or 2nd of the month.

    The first time they did that, I figured it out quickly. What I did was I just took one of my own personal envelopes and I addressed it to their mailing address for billing, and I sent the bill in so that ADT would get it on time. And then I held on to the physical bill that they sent me, right next to time for me to pay the bill, and I kept that one. What I've been doing is every time they send me a text message, I take the bill from last month, and I change the due date on it to that current date. And then I put the check in the mail with their billing. When the bill comes in on 17th or 18th and it's due on the 19th or 20th, I keep that one. I hold on to that until I get the next text message saying, "This bill is due at the 19th or 20th of the month." I like to pay in advance.

    Overall, ADT comes out right away. It's a stark contrast between Fluent Home and ADT. They're like, "Well, we gotta send a guy from Utah and it's gonna be two months.” That's ridiculously unacceptable. Whereas with ADT, I called, and within three days, their technician was out here changing the dead control panel and giving us one that work, and putting two sensors up that replaced the two that weren't working at all. I'm happy with ADT. When you experience a company as bad as Fluent Home treated us, and then you have the totally opposite experience with ADT, it's a no-brainer, you're gonna compliment that company and tell everybody to run from the other company.

    I've been protected with ADT since February of this year. When I had previously moved into where I'm currently at, there was an alarm system that was here, but it was no longer working. I had inquired about the system, and that was when I decided to give ADT a call in reference to wanting to have the alarm system and have it installed. ADT's customer service has been more than fair. There was some discrepancy that was going on, and it was resolved. It was handled very professionally, and it made me feel like my concerns were taken into account.     If there's an issue, then I would call customer service to see if the problem can be resolved by troubleshooting my system. Everything works very properly.

    The other day, I did call because I was inquiring about controlling my lighting because I'm getting ready to leave the country again. I was told that the only thing is that the tech would have to come back out, though, just to do a couple of things. So, if I'm out of the country, I can turn my lights on and off because I just don't wanna be leaving my lights on throughout the day. That’s a very nice feature.

    I'm satisfied with my services and what has happened. When you walk on the property, it automatically alarms. It's letting me know someone's on the property. I can see who's at the door. One good thing I do know about ADT is if there is a situation that's going on, which I experienced in the past with my previous significant other. She had a situation, and ADT was right on it. They ended up calling me immediately, informing me that there was something going on. They let me know, “Okay. You should call the police or call someone because the house has been broken into.” They call immediately. And whoever came in, when they did what they did, ADT was right on it. Unfortunately, the robbers did get away.

    I didn't like ADT. I had problems with it continuously. I had tech people come out continuously. I was in a five-year contract because I thought I was gonna have my home, but I didn't. So I tried to get out of it. Because I don't have a home I don't need it. And they wouldn't let me out. It was horrible. I had to finally talk to someone up in the chain to at least reduce my monthly charges down to something reasonable because I have to continue paying it. They reduced it down to a half but I still have to pay it until the five years is up.

    We had ADT in our other house for 26 years. Then we moved it over here when we moved. They seem to constantly upgrade the way that the systems work, at least internally. They offered us one of those things that you can talk to, so that was very nice. But I don't like those things so I didn't plug it in. The last guy who came in and worked with us through redoing the system that had been in this place, which is a condo in an old building, did a great job of reviewing all the window markers and got it all working really well. Over those many years that we've had ADT, it's been a good experience and I haven't had issues. But as soon as I had a problem with one of the window connection, they had somebody come and he had everything he needed. He walked through and added a fire detector that was not working here in this place that we didn't even realize wasn't working. ADT's price is good, too.

    I've been with ADT for my house since 2012. I did a Google search to see which was the best home alarm service, and ADT came up as number one. But over the past year, I have not been happy at all with all the cameras. I upgraded to the Google Nest for a lot of my cameras except for one. I have the ones where you have to charge it all the time, which is very annoying. The cameras do not record like they said they would. I've had some real issues that happened to where I had to call the police out. I went back to check for footage for proof and there was no proof because I found out my cameras were not working.

    When I called to complain about it, I wasn't notified that I have to go back in and reset something every so month. I was never told about that. Had I known, I would have done it or probably looked for another service. This past year had been very horrible and in particular, these past four months. I've paid them all off now, but they don't work properly.

    I've had just a few cameras before. They worked better to me with the recording. It seems like once I upgraded to the Google Nest, the issue started arising. It would be good if there's some way to where they could record all the time as the customers can't get the footage. I've had false alarms a few times and sending my nephew in here, he put in the wrong code. So, they responded very quickly. Even to the point where I didn't pick up right away, they were ready to dispatch a police officer and call family members who were on my thing. So, it's actually working when it's supposed to to get the police to the house. My issue is with the recordings. I get alerts like crazy on my phone since our last incident. It wasn't doing it when I needed it. I'm not happy because I feel like I wasted money all these years for a system I thought was really protecting me and my baby. I thank God nothing ever happened when we were in the home.

    Our ADT system has worked like it's supposed to. I haven't had faulty things going off. They stand by their products. Their customer service has been fine. We were able to work out whatever the issue was. It was doing some weird things. I called them and they made a system check and we were good. I wish they would do a courtesy call every year or two with the latest equipment to see. Because I've had my equipment for years and no one's ever called to say, "This camera works better," or this has night vision. My system's working fine, but I would think that they would wanna check on the equipment. To me, that would be an easy way to make some sales just by offering the latest, greatest products. But ADT has done very well. I recommend them to a lot of people.

    We've been a customer of ADT for 12 years now. For a lot of years, we stayed because they were doing everything we wanted. But for the last couple of years, it's no longer true. Now, it's just because I haven't had time to find somebody else. A lot of the stuff that I've gotten from them and their options, the inside cameras, all stopped working because there was a change in our network and they all have to be hardwired to the network. They had a lot of installation people out here but nobody could make it work. They finally had to back down the level of our service. It took a little pushing, but they did eventually do that. But the problem is that's not the service that I want. But when they had to back down on the service, they did lower the price also.

    I'm not satisfied with what it does. But the service that I have works fine. I can turn my alarm on and that works fine. But because of the reduced level of what they do, there are some holes in our coverage. It's not entirely their fault that the network stuff didn't work and I'm told that they have some newer options. It's just I need to try and get ahold of somebody, which isn't all that easy, and find that out.

    The system works well. It does what it's supposed to. On those occasions when we need to switch out batteries, that would become tricky. But the support line has always been very helpful in being able to get us through it. We've been able to manage everything by ourselves and with the support line. The site is easy to use. There are certain things you can't do on the website that you have to do on the panel. It would be nice if some of those functions were available on site as well. And there are some minor issues like on the phone app clearing out.

    We had a battery problem on one of the smoke heads and it still shows it on the app as a problem even though it has been cleared in the main system. So, there are little things like that that eventually go away. But I figure as soon as it was done, it should do it. We're on a busy road, so it gives us peace of mind when we're not there knowing that if anything happened, we would get an alert. We pick up anything that comes or goes around the perimeter of the house.

    ADT has been fine. We've had no issues with them. And if our alarm has gone off, they've contacted us very quickly. Luckily, nothing was of importance. It was just something little that we could fix, and we've been very happy with them. They're fairly consistent. Their system is easy to use. The price has gone up a little, but it was not any huge increases. I have the smoke alarms. And all of my windows that I needed, they came out and did, and my exterior doors. They were very helpful and they put the system in in our new house four years ago.

    We arm our system every night and disarm it during the day. If we leave, we arm it. So, it's part of our security system. There was no difference in the change from another company to ADT, except when we started having problems with our landline and we changed over to have it where it went through the internet. We've had problems with the wireless system. When ADT came and said they had to update it, they had to use their analog system, that was when we had lots of problems. I have not been satisfied with the new system. I liked the old analog much better and had fewer problems. When it was the old analog system, it did everything I wanted it to do.

    I had an appointment on Friday, the 4th, and ADT called me at 3:30 and told me that they were not going to be able to make it and my appointment was between noon and 4:00. They set me up an appointment for Saturday, the 5th, between noon and 4:00 and they did not even call me and tell me that they were not coming. I had to call them to find out what time were they coming and what was going on and they eventually had to reschedule me. I waited three weeks for that appointment. Their customer service was a 10. They were trying to be very accommodating, but it just didn't work.

    My experience was okay with ADT. I've had this for less than a year. I probably have five sensors that are down right now. I mentioned it, and we really hadn't resolved. I made one or two calls. None of the issues were really resolved. So, I don't know that I really felt I'm getting the bang for the buck that I was hoping for. I felt like it should have lasted at least a year. The sales representative that sold it to me and the installer were all good. They explained the product. M customer service after that, I called about a sensor, they had me open it up. The sensor broke while I was trying to open it. And they said, “Pull the batteries out. Put them back in.” We did that. It worked for a second. After that, a couple more sensors have failed.

    I called them up. I don't know what they did online, but nothing worked. I still have all these remarks about dead sensors. I felt like they should have sent somebody out to look at that because I shouldn't have five bad sensors in a year. I didn't do anything. Most of those windows I never even opened. I made two support calls, and they did some stuff on their end that didn't change it. They didn't really resolve my problems. So, I'm paying for an alarm system that isn't fully functional.

    A lot of years ago, ADT was the alarm guy that was visible. They had their little stakes in the ground at some neighbors. So I just had seen them around and they had a fairly broad brand name. The stakes in the ground were overgrown by bushes now, so it's not as prominent as it used to be. But I have on one edge of the house and there's a hedge that's probably hiding 80%. I got them originally and didn't want to have any false alarms with the police or the fire. So I don't have any automated.

    I had two boys growing up here too and they were crazy that they'd never turn it on or off. So, I just use it as a monitor in the master bedroom. Somebody opens the garage door, it says, "Garage door is open." Somebody opens a window and sliding glass door, it just says which zone and what's going on. So I really just used it as a monitor from that standpoint. ADT was very responsive. I had some alarm panel issues where I couldn't shut it off. I got them on the phone and they would walk me through it and they were very professional, pleasant, and quick about doing it.

    We had some alerts coming from the box in the house. There was some sort of system issue and turned out that there were a couple of faulty sensors. When I called ADT, the rep said there was nobody available but I could schedule a callback. So I did and it was a one-hour thing. Then, I got emails from them and text messages to be prepared and that my call was scheduled for 12:00 to 1:00. But nobody called until 1:45. The person was helpful but that was a terrible experience. And I have to do the fixes on my own, which is crazy. I've been with ADT for seven years and when I signed up, I thought the big benefit was there was more customer service than the other cheaper options out there. But it seems that's no longer the case. It seems like they're on par now with everybody else. I wonder why I'm spending so much money with ADT.

    Everyone at ADF was nice. The initial guy that came out took a long time when he first came out. It was really late by the time he finished. And then when he installed things, we weren't really satisfied with our experience at that time on the initial installation. He had to come back the next day because I had my grand babies, and I was like, “It's just time to go.” It was getting close to 10 o'clock. It was late. We hadn't eaten anything, and it was time to go. We were frustrated with the whole experience.

    He came back. He had to go up in the attic, and then he came out. He had to go to Walmart and get electrical outlet to put in the attic, which we were very disappointed because we spent quite a bit of money. It was close to $2,000 to get the equipment. And then he put like a home type of switch up in the attic so he can plug in surge protectors so he can plug it in the attic.

    We've been having some faulty transmissions. Everything inside that’s been working with those cameras is plugged into the attic up there. I called for someone else to come out, and that guy just said, “Hey, you may wanna get something a little bit stronger than what you have up in there, because it's very low. It's a low quality type item. So maybe something a little bit more durable.” But the second guy that came out was very attentive and tried everything possible to help us out.

    He followed back up with us because we had questions about that equipment. We called and we happened to get him again, and he was trying to explain to us how that works. I guess ADT just allows them to put whatever they wanna put up there and it's coming out of their pocket. So, I can understand that they're not gonna put anything very expensive up there that's a quality device.

    We were told if it goes off, if they have a power outage, we may have to go up in the attic and reset it. But that's not our thing. That was the thing that we thought it was getting a wireless device, and that we didn't have to experience all that. We don't really like going up in there. But having to do that, that takes away from getting a wireless system. We had our own Ring where we could go in, we have to change the cameras, and now we're getting kind of old to do that. But now with this thing, if you get a outage, you gotta climb up there again to turn it on. That defeats the advantage of having a wireless system.

    I have no intention of keeping up with ADT after this subscription ends because I can't use my things. I had the Nest for a while. ADT hasn't updated the app to interface with all the legacy Nest products, so the IQ cameras, or the IQ doorbell. I haven't been able to use any of my in-place items. It's not even set up. The base is not connected. I can still log into my old Nest app and set up notifications. My Nest app still works, minus the door sensors. All the ADT stuff is packed up, because I would log in, my cameras would show up in the app as unsupported. But at least my cameras work. And I get notifications that way. I can work the thermostat from there as well. So, the only thing I lost was the security aspect with the door sensors and window sensors. None of the ADT stuff is even hooked up anymore because it didn't help. I haven't been able to use it. Luckily, I didn't pay for it since it was provided by Google.

    What ADT needs is to work in those legacy objects. They got all this stuff from Google Nest, but not supporting the things that Google Nest gave. It's a software thing. The company needs to make the investment to get these things to work. There's no reason it shouldn't. I'm a programmer. If I had the time, I would come and do it for them. I don't know what agreements need to be made within the company to get it to work. The only option I was told was either buy new ones or did not have the support. The few times I've used the customer service, there was no fix for the service. I was told every time, “Sorry. There's nothing we can do. Either buy new things or there's just nothing we can do.” It put me in a weird spot.

    I've had ADT for a few years and we only had one problem. It took ADT a couple of tries, but they were able to fix my alarm. It didn't get service. They gave me something about the cell towers and where I live. I live out in the country, no man's land, where I'm out of state line. That was the problem with the cell towers. But ADT worked until they got my alarm fixed for me and at no cost. They came out and put in an antenna, but it took them a couple of trips to get the right kind of technician to do that. But since they did that, I have not had issues. The system is easy to use and ADT gave me a little device that I can use. I use that when I'm in my car and I don't wanna have to wait how many seconds I only have to get out once I do it. I wait until I'm in my car and use that and it makes things simple. I've been thinking about having ADT come out and do some cameras for me.

    Some things that I needed help with ADT, they were unsure. A few months ago, I needed help about my alarm. My door was open, and I asked, "Is there a panic button I can push or if someone's in the house?" They were, "You would have had to have to do it on the actual console in the house." I said, "That doesn't make any sense." I don't understand the service or how efficient it is, if I can't alert for help remotely like I can set my alarm remotely. I have to do it in the house. It is disappointing.

    We have ADT. We're in a contract, and it doesn't function. So, we just know we pay monthly for the ADT system. We stripped all the services down, so it went from $89 to $60, but it doesn't function. We requested to have someone come out and look at it, and the technician showed up. But unbeknownst to us, there was a $175 fee for the technician to come and look at the system. Not even servicing us just yet, but looking at it.

    Once we found out that it causes for a technician to come out to assess why the system isn't working, we decided to call and we tried to cancel the service and just go with Ring because we have Ring cameras in the front, and because of the contract, it costs more to get out of the contract than to keep it intact. So we decided we could reduce all the features down to the bare minimum, which is at the $60 price point. And that's where we're at now. Hopefully, we'll check in again and see if we can come out of the contract. At the time, it was 1,500 to cancel the contract.

    If I'm not home and I wanna check on my dogs, I can open my indoor camera and see what they're doing and make sure everything's good. However, I am very dissatisfied. I've tried to cancel ADT. But I've been on the phone for sometimes an hour, sometimes an hour and a half. Our inside camera broke. I was able to get somebody on the phone for that to fix that, but not to cancel the service. They promised to send us a new doorbell a year ago. They still never sent that. You can hear it beep five times because it goes off every five minutes. The internal battery is dead. So every few minutes, it would beep reminding me that the battery is dead.

    I bought a brand new battery, put it in. So, it's obviously the power that's coming from the wall that it's not getting, because the batteries didn't work. And I couldn't get anybody on the phone to help me fix that. I would go through the troubleshooting. The troubleshooting would never be successful. Not to mention what I pay every month for the past three years when there are many other things out there on the market that I could purchase outright and have better service.

    I've had ADT for 30 something years. It secured my home. Everything about ADT is great. One day, I came in and I was putting batteries in my smoke detectors. I accidentally tried to put a battery in ADT. It put off an alarm, and the fire department and everybody was here within two minutes. By the time I called to tell them that it was a mistake, it was too late. Ad I called, it was like seconds. ADT was here and they understood what I had done. They were not judgmental. They put new batteries in. So, one incident that I had when they put the batteries in, they put the batteries in all but one. And it was the one that was having a problem. So I called them back. They were back out here the next day, and put new batteries in all over.

    We always had ADT growing up and it just happened that the townhouse that I moved into was using it as well. It's been a great experience and we've never had any hiccups.     ADT is great. I first got them in 2010 when my husband passed away and I liked it. I just have the doors and some windows, and the glass-shattering thing in my back and the front. I also have the motion detector in my front entranceway but it hasn’t worked in seven years. So, people could walk into my house if they could get in the door without it beeping and they could have a party in my entranceway. I’ve called ADT and they told me to get a ladder and get up there and point it down a little bit more. I don't know if I'm paying for it but I would like, if possible, someone to come out to give me a motion detector that works.

    I used to have a little clicker I brought upstairs and then in the morning, I would click it off so I could come downstairs. But now, I don't have to click anything off. I just come down and do jumping jacks in my front entranceway. The customer support tried to help me but it was not working and finally, I just gave up. They said they couldn't have anybody come out. It’s their equipment and I'm not gonna get up there on the ladder and try to bring it down. I probably should have changed companies because ADT's techs weren't coming out to help me and they kept on saying the system should be working but it's not.

    Still, ADT is very good about responding. My daughter was living with me about five years ago and she ran into the room and said the alarm was going off. I didn't hear it. And I said we’ll see what happens. The police called and when they asked, I told them to send somebody. When they came, I ran down the stairs to open the door and it was good. It was the vibrations from the thunder that set off the alarm on one of the windows. I like how they do call. And when I come in, it goes off and I have to code it out. It’s simple to use. I've taught friends how to do it if I wasn't home. They had to get in. So, I'm fine with ADT.

    I had a year and a half that I changed to AT&T because I figured I'd bundle it. But I said I was going back to ADT. So, they came by and put new equipment in. This was probably about eight years ago. I thought AT&T was gonna give me a better deal so, I went with them but I shouldn't have. I just should have stayed with ADT.     I installed ADT in my house 10 years ago. My service package is bad. I'm not satisfied at all. All the equipment is extremely outdated. It's a 20-year-old technology compared to all the other services now like Ring, Comcast and SimpliSafe. Its cameras are old. Everything is old, and I had several issues. Their network went down. Equipment was down for a month. I had no video clips recorded. And after 10 years of being a loyal customer, they couldn't offer anything at all to compensate me for that. They won't give me anything to update my cameras.

    I wanted to get something for free. They offered upgrade if I pay full price for them. So, there are no complimentary upgrades. There was no additional camera as a, "Sorry, we messed up." It was a very bad customer service model. They don't care about customer satisfaction. They only care about making money. As soon as things slow down at work, I'm gonna switch from them. They're not a good company at all. 30 years ago, they were the leader in the market in home security. But now, there's so much competition. There's so much better service that are cheaper, better, and higher quality in every way. So, ADT is not doing too well.

    I’ve been using ADT for at least five years and the security features on my package are okay and seem to be adequate. But if something breaks, ADT’s techs don't come out and fix it. We had to wait two months since I got the last thing fixed here just recently and I paid for those two months of security. Then, they charged me to come out to fix it. It’s their equipment. If you have DIRECTV or Dish Network at your house and the satellite went out and you didn't get to use it for two months, you would feel like you should get a refund. Because it's not just once. It's been a few times and they don't give a break or refund. The shortest we've ever had was a month and a half to come and it's usually at least two months.

    One other thing that drives me absolutely nuts is that I'd get an email from ADT each month saying I have a bill. Then you go to the bottom there and it says, "Balance zero dollars," and that's all it is. I pay $900 yearly, usually in March. The next month, I’d get another bill. And the next month, I’d get another bill that would say the balance is zero.

    Usually, the ADT technicians are good, but the customer service can be hit or miss. I stick with them though. They got their own problems, but they fix them with due time. The automatic payments kept messing up every month and they finally got that fixed. I was like, "Okay, no big deal." They were supposed to charge you for the keypad that's inside the house that will be fixed but they didn't charge me for it. There were just little things like that where it's something they can charge you for, and they don't.

    I have an ADT system in my house. We had it in Prescott. We moved down here, and we still have it. We had it at our business, too, before that. We retired. We still have them and we're really happy with them. A couple of weeks ago, the smoke detector was beeping. Chuck took the batteries out so we could replace them and we left home to do some errands, and met a fire truck down there at the end of the road coming to our house. Our smoke detector went off when the batteries made a signal that something was wrong here. So, they're efficient and we were pleased. The firemen were really nice. We turned around and came back because our fire alarm went off. Unbeknownst to us, we took the batteries out. We can't do that. We gotta notify ADT.

She worked with me to get a better price, which I had before because rates had gone up. She got me a good monthly price on my ADT system, and we're happy with it. We've got everything secured. We've had them for over 35 years. It's a great system. We've never had any issues with them like billing. They call if a garage door is open. One day we were gone and one of our people left it open, and right away, I got a phone call that there was a door open into the garage. That was within a very short time of when Caroline left and a door just didn't close tightly. So, we think they're great alarm system people. We've never had any issues with them that they haven't resolved.

    My husband passed away and I had a daughter in treatment at the time and I got Social Security for her and I used that to purchase the ADT system because I didn't trust her and her friends. So that's how long I've been with it, which would be coming up to eight years. It was amazing when I first got the system. I loved it. But I hate it now. And I'm upset with myself because I’ve been struggling with this for how long now and that's $80 a month. I'm a widow and I live on my own and $80 a month is my grocery bill. I can feed myself for that. I liked ADT up until the last two years and I'm about ready to put up some other type of system because I've had nothing but nightmares with it.

    When I first purchased the whole thing, ADT was hands-on. The techs came to the house and put the system in. They came out and changed batteries and provided service when there were issues. Then, the price was $50 a month the whole time. That's all gone by the wayside. There's no customer service other than by phone and three-fourths of the time, I can't even understand the person on the phone. So, it becomes very difficult. I probably spend 100 bucks, if not more, a year for batteries and that was all included when I initially got it.

    I had some issues with my panel and it wasn't working properly and it was due to the signals. ADT’s techs installed an additional panel upstairs. So now, sometimes it will say that my panel has something wrong with it. Then, when I try to resolve it over the phone, they act like I'm stupid and I don't know what I'm talking about. It's my panel and it just becomes ridiculous. I have a home on the East Coast and when I leave to go there, I can't arm my system except from my app on my phone. Once in a while, a young man comes over and has to wash up when he mows the yard and he would say he couldn’t arm the system again. I would tell him I would do it from Myrtle Beach. It’s getting way more and more inconvenient. People should go for a different type of system. I've kept it too long. But I like the sense of knowing that there'll be a response.

    I was at work and somebody busted my front door. ADT called me at work and the police were here in four minutes when I got the timeline. I like my alarm system and I have been with ADT over 13 years. I have neighbors and they've tried other security services. But a lot of security companies in my neighborhood don't do 24-hour surveillance. ADT is a little expensive, but is $2 a day while you're at work too much money to have somebody here to call the cops in case somebody decides to come in your house?     I had another security company before ADT and when they put the system in, they tested it so I would know it was working. ADT didn't do that and I really didn't like that. My whole house is supposed to be covered by the ADT system and from my understanding, when the guy put the system in, he was supposed to add the existing windows from the other security company into it to make them work too. But I don't know whether they are even working because on the pad, I only see certain windows. I see the windows from the guy who did the upgrade part of it but I don't see the windows from the previous company that they had on there. So I don't know whether ADT even covers them or not.

    So far, my lights went off a couple of times due to hurricane, because we've been hit three times, then the system said battery low and we couldn't have the alarm on. So we're not secure when we don't have any lights. One time, the alarm went off when I was shopping out of town. Their rep called me and said that one of my doors was going off. But my dad came over here and he didn't see anything. At that time, we had a little storm, so the rep was saying that maybe the storm wind triggered it. But other than that, I haven't had any false alarms. I use my alarm every time I leave my house and when I'm in here, I use it when I go to sleep. I put stay, then when I wake up in the morning, I take the stay off and I let the chime thing go. So if you open a door, it'll tell you which door is open. But I only do that with the kitchen, because that's really the only door we use. I can also open the front door and see if it's going to chime. I just never thought to do that.

    I had ADT in my up north house and I have it in my house down in Florida. I got it about eight years ago and installation is always good because they want people's money. When the ADT system in my New York house wasn't working for a month, it sucked. So, in December, I said, “I gotta have security,” ‘cause I was coming back down to Florida. I was not on a contract anymore with ADT, so I put Vivint in. I also paid the one in the Florida house, which was 600 bucks. However, ADT put me in collections. Nobody's ever called and told me I owed them money.

    I talked to this gentleman who said, “Well, you didn't close your account.” I told him I did. I dealt with a rep named Eli and he said, “Don't worry. It's all closed. I'll even save you money in your next bill for your Florida home.” Still, I had to pay the bill because I didn't want my credit screwed up. I'll never use ADT again and as soon as this year ends, they're out of my Florida house. They can kiss my butt. I hate them and if anybody tells me they're getting ADT, I'm talking them out of it.

    When the system was first installed, there were two or more installers in the area. One of them used some dated equipment. It's tan and it doesn't really go with the house. I had run into an installer and he said, “Well, that guy just uses old equipment. I would have given you the better panel. Everything would have been white.” So I called ADT several times over several years to try to see about getting it updated. But it's like I have to buy a whole new system. I was quoted the other day of almost $1,500. So, that's out of my budget right now. But the system works fine.

    I've been able to use the app to set it. If we're driving away and we forgot to set the alarm, we don't have to go back home. We just get on our phones and the app. It's very convenient to do it that way. If we're not home and someone's coming by, we can turn the alarm off for them without giving them a code. So I like the convenience and the security side of it. It makes us secure that we have it set. It gives us that protection. We have cats. So, we don't use the “Away” feature at all because we don't want a false alarm. But the flexibility using the “Stay” feature works well with our cats.

    We had ADT and the price kept increasing every year, and we were locked into a five-year contract. So we switched to North Star and then ADT bought North Star out, so we got stuck back with ADT. We pay them $86 a month and that’s high. The tech who came out and set it all up was fine. But right at the moment, we still got issues. We changed internet services and the thing constantly updates. It's ridiculous. Nobody has that many updates in a day. It seems like it's not really connecting all the time with the internet either. It updates every half hour, so we can't figure that out.

    I've had ADT for many years. I usually call when I have issues and that gets fixed. This last time, I had to wait and then a cancellation, and then a wait again. I had the camera out a bit, but I was compensated. They gave me a few dollars off of my monthly bill. I pay about 70 a month and it's a little high, but for now, I do it. However, people are switching to their own cameras now and if the bill keeps going up, sometimes people have to do that.

    We always use the system and lock up. It tells us if a door has been left open. I feel a sense of security. I had neighbors ask me about ADT and I have recommended them. They see the sign and ask, and I tell them I have had no problems with it. I have one neighbor who has a sign in her yard. She asked me first then got ADT, but I don't think she got the camera due to the price.

    I most definitely like the fact that we can access everything from our phone as far as turning the alarms on and off, and we are able to lock and unlock doors. It gives us access to the Ring camera as well as the camera that I have in the back.     I've had the key fob not work for me even though I pressed it and the alarm went off, or the safety button that I can wear that malfunctioned twice. It broke and fell apart. Sometimes I press it and the light goes on, showing me that it worked. But later, I look and it's not on. I don't know if this is realistic or not because maybe it's a different kind of service, but the medical button that you could call if you got injured only works right there where you'd be near the speaker. I have a three-floor house. So I'm not sure how effective that system is. If I go away from the house, it doesn't work anywhere else. So it's limitedly useful to me.     I had ADT years ago when it was all that was available at the time in the area. The system is easy to use and once in a while, I use the app. Most of the time, the customer service is good though once in a while, you'll get somebody that's had a rough day and just be not as friendly as they could be. I called a couple of weeks ago and the girl helped me. She transferred me to maintenance and they walked me through what I needed to do. But ADT needs to figure out something better for what they have in the motion sensors. Because there are some places like Arizona that is too hot and they fall or come loose. So, it's not up there getting a good signal. That was a while but I couldn't set my alarm. I had to get somebody to come out and change one of the things.

    In June 2022, I bought a smart home and ADT was part of it. I was missing a sensor off of a door and they want me to pay $55 to order a new one. I pay all these $5 a month for this, $10 a month for this, and $6 a month for this. As soon as my contract is up, I'm going with somebody else. I'm not happy with it, but I signed a three-year contract. So, it is what it is. I pay them 65.15 a month, and they can't send me a sensor and they wanna charge me almost 60 bucks for it plus shipping, and I pay for all these little extra things. I find that horrible customer service.

    We’ve had ADT for 17 years, which is the whole time we’ve had our house, and about a year ago, we upgraded. I made three different phone calls to different customer service reps and said we wanted the service on the windows, which we didn't have before. We wanted to upgrade everything and get caught up to where we should be. The representative who came out wasn't cooperative. We were supposed to have security put on our windows as well and that wasn't on the order form. He couldn't do it and couldn't get approval. All he wanted was to sell us a little key fob for 50 bucks that we never use and said he couldn't do anything else than under what was on the work order. We asked if he could call the company and ask them about these features that we were told were gonna be on the system. He said he couldn't do that.

    I had made numerous phone calls and we tried to tell ADT about how inconvenienced we were. We wanted to know how could we return the key fob because we have no use for it. I wrote a big email to ADT and nobody responded. They didn't care. We're staying with ADT for a little bit and eventually, we're selling our house. But I wouldn't refer anybody to the customer service because what I was told by three different reps never came true. The person delivering the stuff provided horrible service. It's like he didn't even wanna be here. He just wanted to do it as fast as he could and get out and make some more money. There are a lot of other companies out there that have the service that ADT gives and that's what we'll look for next time.

    ADT was here when we moved into this location but after about a year, we got discouraged with it and switched to a different provider. Then, we moved back about two years later to ADT. The response time and the update calls are good. We can set the system to when someone’s home or when everybody’s gone. My wife likes it when it says a location is not shut. It's good to know that maybe she forgot to lock the back and it tells her what to check. When the battery goes out in one of the sensors in one of the rooms, I've learned how to track it down easier and replace the batteries. At first, it was a nightmare at first, but I have figured it out. My concern is the cost going up so great. Since we're paying almost $300 a quarter, and with technology changing every year, every six months, or every day, we should be entitled to new updates as we are a current customer.

    We have two houses and we have ADT with both of them. With one of the sales reps, I thought we were getting cameras but then I found out we weren't and it was my mistake that I did the little DocuSign on my phone and didn't read it. We walked around the house twice, talking where the cameras were gonna go, and I found out that cameras were not included, unless we pay a lot of extra money. Also, in the other house, the installation team didn't finish the job and left it up to me. I had to hire an outside company to complete the work.     I don't like ADT and as soon as my contract's up, I'm leaving. The guy wouldn't put the keypad where I wanted it when we first moved here because he wanted to make it easier on himself. I wanted it coming in off of the garage because we use the garage but he put it way back at the back door. When we come in, we have to walk all the way through the house to turn it off.

    Right now, I'm having a little problem with the system. There's a popup every now and then saying something about system after I set it after a few minutes. I don't care for ADT anymore. They used to be really good but not anymore. Also, I thought if I moved, it would just transfer. But they put in a whole new system and charge a fortune. They do everything for you years ago but now they charge and I have to rent my equipment. I never had to do that before. I pay almost $60 a month. I think that's outrageous.

    There's something that we've disconnected and hooked up in our ADT system. And now, we keep getting that our battery is low. The installers were quick but they didn't clean up from drilling in the wall. Also, I was satisfied with the features of my service package at first. But after about three months, I was not any longer. There was a big storm and it knocked my Ring doorbell camera off. The camera shattered and they did not offer to replace it. So I haven't had a Ring doorbell since, which sucks. Aside from that, you can get the same product from anywhere else and not have to pay every month. So, I feel like I pay for nothing every month.

    I heard about ADT 'cause my neighbor has them and that's why I went with it. I live alone and the only thing I use on ADT is that chime for the front, back and garage doors. I don't even put in my security code 'cause that's enough. When my door is open, I hear it. I like that about the system. However, if I had another company to go to, I would. ADT got me with a bill where they said I didn't pay and I was looking at it on my bank statement and told them, "Yes, I did. It was 6th in June to July." They want me to take a copy of it and send it in and then said they'd reimburse me. I know I paid and I paid it twice. I paid over $157 in one month.

    I also called in and gave ADT the number on my new card because my old card wasn't any good. Somebody tried to hack it. That threw me in the behind because they didn't get the $14. They said they still had old card and I said, "I told y'all that card wasn't no good." It ain't ADT the name, but the workers. That's where I see the fault is, because when I call in and give them the change in things, that's it. When I asked for a place where I can go personally and pay instead of putting it on the card, they told me I could go in some office building out on Rock Road here in Kansas. I went and rang and rang the doorbell, but I couldn't get in. They didn't open the door. It must be one of those where I have to drop my money through the slot.

    My job had ADT as their vendor, which is how I first learned about it. I was facilities management, and I liked their services. The system worked fine and I like that I got a quick response whenever I had to call regarding the facility, but if they had to do the equipment or service delivery, they can improve the time.     ADT has always been the company that we've used going back about 20 years. My grandparents and parents used it. However, we're looking eventually to switch from ADT. Functionality-wise, the system is basic. It's what I would expect, and performance-wise, it's standard. ADT is overpriced, and their user interface is difficult with their app. They can improve that. The customer service is very clanky as well. Everything has to send out a tech, and getting a tech to come out is always expensive. Besides that, the technicians are thorough when they come out.

    I hate ADT. It's useless. I first got it back six years ago, and I pay every month. The system has expiration dates on it, then when it goes out, they want me to pay full price to replace it. I don't like anything about it. I needed somebody to come out because of my CO2. When I was talking to them on the phone, they told me one thing about the price, but when the person got out here, I was told another thing about a different price. I sent that person away and had ADT bring somebody else. The man was mad and had an attitude. I sent him away too. It was a mess, and today, I still don't have a new CO2.

    If I forget to set my panel or if there is an alarm, I usually get a notification via email. I'm satisfied with this service and ADT seems to be doing a good job. I'm happy. I had them send the police, but when I got home and when the police got here, there was nothing wrong with the house. There were no signs of somebody trying to break in.     I initially bought a contract of 60 months. When I bought a new home, I wasn't happy and then wanted to cancel the service. They said they would give me contract of 24 months and if I buy new equipment again, they would cancel my old contract and waive off any charges on my old home. However they have been charging me for last 4 months and when I called customer service, he says "You have to pay for equipment on old home." Why did you promise me something and cant adhere to the same??? Isn't this fraud????

    I have always had problems with customer service. If you need A security service please do not call ADT.. for example my alarm has not been working correctly for a month. I called ADT. They rescheduled 4 times called to try to figure out and they just said that someone rescheduled it.

    I have hated ADT from day 1. I have to admit I got suckered by them, and didn't really read through the contract, if I had I 100% wouldn't have used ADT. This is because once you sign, you are responsible from day 1 to pay the whole contract, with NO out. After 2.5 years of almost never using my system bc it was installed improperly from the get go. I have sensors falling off and now won't re-attach, rendering the system useless. To make this even more of a tragic comedy is when I called to tell them my system doesn't work and I need someone here today to get it working, or they would be in breach of my contract, their response was "for a $79 fee we can have a tech come to work on it," in other words pay more $ for a system I do not want, that does not work, because the install was poorly and the equipment is JUNK!!! Made in Taiwan CRAP.

    ADT is a dysfunctional company. They simply do not follow their own contracts. So why shoud the consumer. If I could score a "0" here or even a negative score, I would. I think it is better described as a "Ponzi scheme." You don't get what you asked for because the company does not obey its own contracts. I am still waiting to hear from them about a legally canceled contract. I will likely have little choice but to sue them. It will be a waste of the court's time considering the egregious nature of the violations here.

    I cannot explain how upset I am with this company. It is a total scam. I wish I had listened to other people and believed the bad reviews before signing up. They are totally misleading. I had no idea I was signing a 5 YEAR CONTRACT!!! Very deceptive. I tried to cancel the other day and they sent me a $315.00 bill for a 1 year early cancelation. I have given this company so much money the past 4 years for literally nothing. I tried calling for help but keep getting transferred to the billing center in DOMINICAN REPUBLIC who keep telling me that there is nothing they can do and that they will send me to collections if I don't pay this bill. Again, I was deceived to sign a 5 year contract. I cannot afford this bill. I have wasted precious time and money on this company. They are stressing me out and nobody can help me. Do not waste your nerves dealing with this company, find one with no contracts and better customer service.

    I’ve had ADT for about three years now, and in that time my cameras have worked maybe 30% of the time. It pretty much has to become my full time job calling ADT, getting technicians out, climbing onto ladders to reset the camera every day because they don’t actually know how to make their electronics work. I get a million excuses from ADT blaming everything and anything but themselves. I eventually gave up and paid for two useless cameras monthly because I’m too busy between my child and my actual job. Finally I move and try to cancel, and they say if I do I’ll owe them close to three thousand dollars if I don’t transfer to my new house, which has a security system already. Wish I had done more vetting on how awful they are to work with before I signed up. If you’re considering them, don’t!

    I've always wanted, in any of the houses we've had, to get ADT. This was the first house we bought that already had it. It's a very simple one. We have the sensors for the doors and the windows, and I feel safe. At least, I will be warned if somebody tries to break in. My husband plays the guitar and if he hits the wrong chord, it sets off the window sensor in his music room. When the reps call us to ask if everything's okay, they're very polite. They have the answer and we just have to do what they say. We've had some issues with this thing on the wall and they've been able to fix it every time. The battery was needing replacement. We purchased our own battery online from Amazon but couldn't get it to work. We had to contact them and get them out to find out what it was. Their battery worked. So far, we've been satisfied with ADT. We're getting what we paid for and for the price, you can't beat that.

    We've always had ADT since we've been here. They're the best. There was one time we decided to not take it then we realized that what we got was nothing like ADT did so we went immediately back to them. We like ADT because we know exactly how it works. They're always responding when we call and telling us how we can do it. We have a zone that we have to jury-rig because we can't find it. ADT said that maybe it needs a battery so we waited for a battery. But they didn't tell us that we had to order one. We also had a problem about a week ago when it kept beeping and we couldn't shut it off. I called them, and that was when they gave me a way to get in there.     It’s very easy to get in contact with a rep and they are very helpful, but they can only help so much. Sometimes, they're able to fix the problems that you're having, but other times, they're not. The last time I talked to them, they said it was a software issue ADT was aware of and they're working on a corrective action. But that was a year ago, and they still have no corrective action.

    The ADT system does what it advertises. The door, the window, and the break sensors work. But the system is not the most advanced and doesn't have the best cameras. When the cameras records clips, they're crystal clear. You can zoom in on them and save them electronically. But it doesn't always record a clip. I'm dissatisfied with the way the cameras work. I wish they recorded better so I'd have evidence if somebody tries to break in. If I wasn't under contract with ADT for the equipment right now, I would get rid of them ‘cause the camera doesn't record video clips like it should. Plus, the cost of the monitoring continually goes up. Every six months, it's gone up in price. I'm waiting for contract to go out so I can get rid of it and go with somebody else.

    I was with Brinks, which was $32 a month. ADT sold me a plan and they were real fast talker. I signed the contract on the phone with the guy that installed it. I got the Ring camera with it and the cost went up to $60 a month. I like the Ring camera but I don't know if it's worth $30 a month. The way they told me, it wasn't the price it was gonna be. It was supposed to stay the same as the Brinks system. I did another complaining when I first got it in here but I gave up and decided to ride out the contract because I couldn't get out of it without being sued. $60 a month or $2 a day is not a lot of money on something for normal people, but I'm on a fixed income. I've got another two and a half years on it.

    When I signed up for it, they promised me a $100 card within a week but it took two months for the card to get here. I kept telling the guy that sold it to me but he blocked my telephone number. The other night, at 2:00 in the morning, I had the smoke alarm go off with no smoke or anything in the house. It was the first time it's ever gone off like that. I thought the hot water heater was leaking but I didn't have any heat on. The only thing I have is a gas hot water heater, which is not very far from the smoke alarm. I wish somebody would come out and check it. I'm 77 years old and don't do any climbing on a ladder. I don't even know what kind of battery is in it and if the battery is dead. But nobody's contacted me at all.

    We've seen a bunch of suspicious activity around here. People have just gotten really mean. So, I called ADT and had them to come out and take a look at my home. They told me that they could put a doorbell camera in, which is exactly what I wanted. I wanted a doorbell camera for the front and the rear doors, and wanted the window sensors put in and the fire detectors. When I first signed the contract, it was for $55 a month for monitoring or for the equipment, and then I pay an extra 20 something a month for the equipment or the monitoring.

    We had a problem with with the system. I had to move the control panel. And when I moved it, something happened with the power supply. They said that they come out to fix it. And they said that since I disconnected it to move it that I was responsible for the system and that they couldn't hook all the sensors back into a new control system because they were already attached to that controller. In other words, their numbers were written into that controller and they couldn't get those numbers back.

    I got a new control panel put in and I only went with two door sensors. They never did put the doorbell cameras in. They put these cameras in where they drilled holes through my walls and it looked like a 15-year-old put them in. I've called ADT where I changed out the Wi-Fi to re-hook up the cameras and stuff. And the people there have always been nice when I've checked the cameras or have to redo the cameras to the control panel for where Wi-Fi changes out. That's never been a problem. But as someone who has purchased the system, the way the system works, how it all goes into the control panel, and the way that I was left holding the bag with the contract, they wouldn't even hear of negotiating a contract so I could buy it out and go with something cheaper so I could get a doorbell camera because I couldn't get ADT to install one. They wouldn't even talk to me about it at all.

    It was, "This is what you're gonna pay. And if you want the system, fine. And if not, then you're gonna pay this. And you still got five years left on the contract. Or it's gonna cost you this much to buy your contract out." So, there was no negotiation. There was nothing. And I thought, "Well, all right. Well, I'll keep up with the contract. And just as soon as this contract is over, ADT is gone. I will never use ADT again."

    My husband was a research biologist, and we were living in the woods back then. It's not woods anymore. He had ADT put on the house to make sure that we stayed safe while he was away, and that's been years and years ago. Having ADT makes me feel more secure. The system has always functioned well. It used to be hooked up and somebody could cut the wires but now, it's hooked up to satellites. So, we know that it's gonna go off if somebody opens the door or opens the window when we have it on. If somebody opens something, the alarm's gonna go on if I have my system on.

    When we first got the service, it was because my husband was at sea. When he started working locally and wasn't going off, we've kept it. Any time we go out of town, go down the street, go to the grocery store or downtown, we cut it on when we leave the house and we cut it off when we come home. Sometimes, we cut it on when we come in.     When my ADT system is working properly, I like that it lets me know if there's any unusual activity. I'm a little disappointed of the system. I haven't been using it for a while. I did call ADT a few months ago and let them know that it wasn't working. I had some malfunction on it. They advised me that they were gonna have somebody come over and fix it, and that never happened. They never followed up. So at this point, I'm just waiting for my contract to be over so I can discontinue the service. I don't feel like I have much security right now because I'm not using it.

    I found ADT to be professional and personable at times when I've worked with the agents. They provide what a good, reliable service. I've asked them from time to time to shut the service down for a limited amount of time. Recently, there was a problem with one of my window sensors. Since it is 1,100 miles away, I couldn't go there to fix it. I asked them to turn off the service at that one particular window, but keep the rest of the house armed. They were able to do that, which was very good. It saved me a 2,200-mile round trip, as well as keeping my home safe.

    The system has been doing very well. I'm secure. I've had a couple false alarms over the years. ADT notified the police. The police came and looked at my property and could not find any sort of a break-in. The conclusion was, maybe something had fallen over in the house and triggered the alarm. I couldn't find any evidence of that either. So, I don't know if there was an electrical problem or what the situation was. But police were notified and followed up, which I appreciate. The only thing that would worry me would be if there was a fire. By the time you get a fire company to one of the locations, there could be substantial damage done to the house. That would be the case with any kind of alarm system. But I like the fact that it will alert the fire company if necessary.

    I dealt with ADT because I've seen their signs, and I like the way they monitor it and perform their duties. I like the simplicity of the system. The house is very secure. I don't worry about it. I have cameras so I can look at it any time. I can lock doors from a remote location. I had an interaction in reference to a window alarm going off, and it was the battery in the sensor on the window. The tech that I spoke with walked through everything on how to replace it to put the system back online. However, if I needed someone to come out, ADT would schedule someone and they would usually come out within a week. They would give me 8:00 in the morning until 6:00 in the afternoon that they would arrive.

    When I get into a computer program that I cannot talk to someone, it's hard for the older generation, 55 and up, not having all that computer knowledge. I'm older, and there are a lot of times we can solve things by just talking to someone. There needs to be some way they can assist someone that isn't computer savvy. That would be an asset if ADT had that. I have had no problems with ADT, and I'm happy with their service.

    My most recent interaction with the tech was great. He was helpful and told me what was wrong with the system. He told me everything that he would do. If it didn't do what it was supposed to do, he figured out, "Okay. So, why is it doing that?" He did good. Before he came, I kept having an issue with my alarm going off. It was always in the middle of the night. ADT said it was a sensor at the door. But the tech changed all that. I called ADT because I didn't know that it was the sensor. I had already talked to ADT and I was about to turn the lights off, and go back to bed. I called them back because I saw a car parked out in front of my house, and I heard something and saw a flashlight. I told the rep, "Don't hang up." I didn't tell her to dispatch the police to the house, and they did. I opened the door and said, "You better say something. If you're here, you better knock on the door or something."

    However, if there was something that I wanted, like whenever I got the little inside camera, that was another three years that I had to stay with ADT. I talked to the person whenever I called about my sensor. I said, "I'm in the process of moving." She locked in my rate. I said, "Is this gonna affect my rate? Because I may be moving here within the next few months. I'm not trying to pay y'all nothing if I move. Because if I say, 'Yeah,' you're gonna lock this in for a year, and if I move, you're gonna tell me I got to pay you for the whole year right then, instead of just moving the service wherever I'm going." Why would I have to sit in a three-year contract just because I'm updating something?

    Our builder offered us an authorized ADT dealer, Safe Haven, to get the alarm system they have. Recently, we had a lot of issues with that company because the equipment they gave us doesn't work, they don't pick up movements, they don't pick up cars, and the picture's too blurry. I've been trying to call them. I've been trying to see if there's any way we can cancel this whole thing and they say that we have to pay a penalty to get out of the contract before three years. I called them to fix the cameras or switch it or do anything. Safe Haven is doing a bad reputation for ADT. There was a time the whole community's doorbells were not working and nobody showed up from that company to fix those.

    Whenever we call, they don't work on Saturday and Sundays, which is funny because customer service should be 24/7. And whenever I called ADT, because they're not the party we signed the contract with, if it's not emergency, they can't do anything else because they're not taking responsibility. The customer service of Safe Haven is a zero.

    The panel sometimes doesn't work itself. It doesn't say anything. I think it's one of the cheapest and oldest panel they have they put it in there. The camera is asking for calibration every other week and I have to go outside in my driveway and go back and forward, take five different pictures for it. The backyard was turned off for some reason and we didn't have surveillance. I tried to call them, nobody picked up and they said that somebody was gonna come. When somebody called me, they said they were gonna be later and if it's something, they can help me through the phone. I said, "Well, just leave it. I'm paying $64 for nothing." There were people coming to our doorbells, and the doorbell did not record the person and the camera did not pick up a car was parked on our driveway for 20 minutes.

    I tried to talk to ADT as well. They said they can't do anything because I have to call Safe Haven. So, the equipment works. I bought the Ring camera because the driveway camera from Safe Haven that they use Alarm.com equipment does not work at all. So, I had to pay $350 for a Ring company to get their camera and put on our driveway.

    The way ADT let the authorized dealers work shouldn't be that way. They have to take them accountable for what they're doing. This is the first time ever we have a security and the experience is not the way we expect it to be because the security should work differently. The whole purpose of security camera and security system is to make sure the customer is safe. When we're not at home, we check our cameras every couple of minutes because we don't know if something's gonna be wrong with the system. So, I'm not satisfied with the whole process of how they take care of the customers, even if it's through a dealership or an authorized dealer.

    I've been with ADT for 20 years and I've had all good experiences. However, our system was struck and we needed a couple of upgrades. I got quoted over the phone by someone. They would be just upgrading a few things and it was 300-some dollars. So we set up an appointment for someone to come out. They came out, they upgraded, and then we added two things.

    However, they withdrew $1,500 out of my checking account, which I never gave them access to. When I called, and they sent me a bill and said it was $1,500, I said, "That wasn't what I quoted." I spent hours on the phone. Once, they told me they were gonna refund the $1,500, and then put me on a monthly, it was gonna be a less amount, and then call back. But they never did a callback. Spent several hours, told me they were gonna do it, but never did it. Now, they not only took the $1,500 from me, but they're also charging me the monthly fee to equal up to the $1,500. I don't even wanna spend the time on the phone. I don't know what my next move is. No one I can get to seem to help me.

    The communication was horrible. The first person I spoke with that quoted me never conveyed this to the technician and the technician never conveyed anything to me. This is something that I can't even get fixed and I don't even know where to go from here. But as far as the quality, I never had a problem. I've always been happy with the quality of the ADT.

    ADT is okay. But I'm not that impressed with it. It's average. The only time anything happens is if you press the panic alarm. It's gone off before, and I've never gotten any calls. The only time they do it is if you press the panic button and then you get it and that's even delayed. But our police are not the greatest. They're slow in any response. That’s the common denominator, at least in this city. They're there, but they're not exactly doing their job.

    The doorbell was not sending an outside photograph back to my phone. So the gentleman from ADT came out and picked around with it for a while. We chatted a little bit and he was a very nice and polite fellow. The system is respectable overall. Since I've had it, I've always had problems with the front doorbell. They'll fix it and it'll be okay for a while. Then a month later, it will give problems again. So, I'm not totally satisfied with the system. But I'm willing to stay with it. ADT is a good company. It's a good unit. I just happened to get a doorbell that didn't work right. I've got all of my doors and windows have alarms on them. So, I feel good about my security.

    ADT works for me. I know that I'm protected if there are any break-ins. Every time I've had any problems like a battery needing to be replaced, they got it taken care of. They sent me the battery to replace it and told me how to do it. The system has also worked fine whenever I needed it and I like the smoke detector part of it. They say if it detects smoke, it will automatically call for help.

    The features included in my ADT package were okay. They weren't that great, though. But the upgrades were good. As a matter of fact, I called today to make better upgrades. But I would leave ADT if I wasn't stuck in a contract. First, I don't like the amount of money I'm being charged for the upgrades. But security is more important to me than anything. I had asked, "Am I in a contract?" ‘Cause I've been here for two years and they said I'm in my contract for another year and a half. I wasn't aware that it was that long, what ended up being a four-year contract. I'm gonna have them send somebody out since the upgrade is to replace the doorbell, which is one of the worst doorbells that you could ever put on a home. I'm angry that they put that on all the homes out here. It's not a battery. It deals with electrical. I don't like doing anything dealing with electrical. Plus, I'm having another motion sensor installed in the home.

    The sales rep was super informative and really nice. We had a good interaction with him. It was really nice. We called him back a week later to say that we weren't quite ready to go down that path. It was friendly. He was actually listening to our concerns. It wasn't super pushy, which was very welcomed. Troy came in to do the installation and he was super. He told us exactly what he was gonna do and he did it. He walked us through the setup process. We were told that the installer team make commission based on what they sell so there was a little bit of, "Are you sure you don't want this?" We said, "Yes. We're sure." Overall, it wasn't too awful, but it was a bit more noticeable than the initial specialist.

    The system does a great job. But we've had some issues with their customer support. It's been really hard to talk to a live person. It's almost impossible to get a phone number of the state like your local ADT office and representatives. We're supposed to call a separate line and then maybe get an answer. So that's really frustrating. We got new windows installed a month ago and we were trying to remove the alarm things. The customer service part was really difficult because everything is automated in tech trade. When we finally got a live person, they did not seem to understand what we were asking and they weren't able to provide those resources for us. That was a little foul-tasting.

    I was with Slomin's for 17 years. Then we switched to AT&T digital service. When we moved down here six years ago, I thought I was calling AT&T, but it ended up being ADT. They came out, told me what they would put in and how much it was gonna cost. The performance of the system has been very good. It's a product worth the money. My wife and I feel safe with it.     My boys recommended that I do ADT because they had it. I'm going on four years with them and they were good in the beginning. But now, I'm about ready to let them go. After two years, I told them it was too high and that I couldn't afford it anymore. They brought it down to 29.99. But I don't get the phone calls anymore. My phone does not ring when somebody comes in. When I'm gone to the store all day long, I don't know if people have come in my apartment. If I'm not home, I need to know when that door is open. Right now, I don't know. I keep changing the password and I shouldn't have to be changing the password all the time.

    I've already complained to them about it. I don't feel safe because I've come in my house and my alarm is not on. I felt that somebody had been in my house, especially when I went to see my kids in Arizona. The other night, I went outside to the store right next door. I turned the alarm on but when I came in, the alarm was not on. That was very strange. Why am I paying 29.99 when I don't even feel secure? I don't even have a camera in here.

    This is a brand-new apartment and I scratched the wood frame putting in one of the window seals. I went with my son on vacation, and when I came back, it had been freshly painted. I live on the third floor. In order to come in my apartment, you have to go through the back door to go through my storage on the porch. It gave me something to think about who painted it and why. Previously, I would run out of the house and forget that the alarm was on. ADT would call me right away 'cause the system would go off. They were on top of it. But now, since they lowered it down to 29.99, it's disconnected from my Wi-Fi. It's also running on batteries and if the batteries run out, the red light is always on.
