Order process/agent was good; very kind. As was installer -- salt of the earth. My issue is that I don't get a sense these blinds are very high quality. They feel flimsy. For $800 I would have expected something much more solid. I hope it doesn't break.

the salesperson was very nice. She however, measured one window wrong. The shades came in and only one window got a shade. I am waiting on the other shade. The shutters have not yet arrived. The prices are kind of high compared to other companies.

Sales experience was average. Installation went smoothly and installer was courteous. Solar shades look good. Unfortunately less than 24 hours after install one of the valences had a end cap pop off and less than a week after install one of the solar shades actually fell from the mounting. The blind had been halfway down so the fabric got crumpled when it piled up in the floor. Getting someone to respond to my calls to come fix the issues was difficult. I had to make several attempts and even try to get the saleswoman involved just to get a response. I was finally able to schedule someone to come out On 10/14/2019. I hope they are able to remedy the issues easily and that we have no other problems. It’s a shame as I have 4 more businesses I’ll be opening and will need solar shades for those locations. My experience with Three Day Blinds was fantastic. They were very responsive, adapted to my schedule, and the designer had wonderful suggestions. The blinds were fabricated very quickly, and the installation was seamless and prompt. They definitely were not inexpensive, but I am a believer that you get what you pay for. I would use them again without question.

The salesperson immediately saw what I needed and did not try to sell me more than I needed. The installation person was on time, very professional, completed the job in a timely fashion and demonstrated how to operate the blinds. Job well done!!

Out of 6 window coverings purchased, 2 were mis-measured and had to be re-ordered, 1 window completely missing shade, 1 remote controlled unit lasted 1 week then went dead, no instruction as to how to replace battery units for remote control shades, told 3 Day does not replace dead battery units. On a scale of 1 to 10...we might go as high as a "3" rating thus far!

Shutters look gorgeous in the rooms and block the afternoon sun. Extremely satisfied w/ all aspects of company from sales rep to installers who were here and out to install 6 windows in less than an hour. All knew what they were doing and very courteous and professional.

I'd been apprehensive after I ordered my blinds from 3 Day Blinds, as I hadn't read any reviews until after I'd signed the contract. There were some unhappy ones mixed in with the good. But 3 Day Blinds was very accommodating of my anxiety and they worked with me, and the installer was terrific. Overall, I am very happy with my blinds from 3 Day Blinds.

Installation of drapery panels. Called last week to say where is my redone rod? Was told I would be getting a call on Thursday the 3rd of Oct or Fri the 4th at the latest - it is now a week later and there has been no call to set up an appt yet your company has been fully paid - this is poor.

First they are not the correct size, you really notice this when they are all down and vary in length. Second they put the hook one wraps the cord around on the wrong side in half, and third, installation was so poor I can not get the screens off to clean the windows. I asked them to please come remove all of them and they would not, I did not even care about my $7,500.00 back, I just wanted them off. I will never recommend 3 Day Blinds!

Our old home has it quirks. The installers took extra time to measure and insure proper fit of our shutters in our living room. You can’t tell that there was any type of frame issues. Our representative was knowledge and made design suggestions that enhanced the look of the shutters design chosen. Couldn’t be happier with how a simple change transformed the look and feel of our room.

I purchased wood blinds from 3 Day Blinds. It was a faux wood because that'd be too heavy for the window. The consultant who came over was great. I got a hold of an installer and he came the next day. And in 10 minutes, he was in and out of my house and took all the trash with him. He was quick. I got a 70-inch screen TV in front of the window and he didn’t even need to move it. I’d have that guy back any time. He was great. The new blinds look great. I have them on in more than one window.

I have signed a contract back in April to get drapes and roller shades for my new house. So many problems with the design and installation of the products since June 10th. I have yet to get the issues resolved. The case manager doesn’t respond to my emails and phone messages. I understand sometimes things go wrong but no excuse for bad customer service!! I shouldn’t have to get my credit card company involved to get a response from the company!

We love our 3 Day blinds. We've had a successful experience with 3 Day Blinds 15 years ago and they have been fantastic when they did all of the window coverings in our loft. So, when we moved to our townhome, I checked with several other companies, but the wonderful salesperson for 3 Day Blinds named Harmony had already come out and had met us on-site. She's fabulous, very efficient, and delightful to work with. She gave the estimate in less than 24 hours too. It was a huge amount but it’s a large townhome, so we understood and it has been wonderful. Then, the young man who installed the blinds for us was fabulous as well. He was terrific and very efficient.
We've enjoyed our blinds ever since the installation. We’ve been in our new home for 2 months already and the blinds are terrific so far. They are of the same style as what we had before. They're Duettes and it's up-down, which we really like. It allows us to adjust view and adjust light multiple ways. We gave our first set of blinds a 15-year trial and they were wonderful. Now, we've begun another trial with 3 Day Blinds and, overall, we have nothing but a great recommendation to give them.

Everything went great with 3 Day Blinds. The consultant who came out was really helpful and very friendly. With the way our windows were set up, she gave us so many different options and led us in a direction that we weren't necessarily even aware of, style-wise. The items were delivered on time and our installation was perfect. It was the most seamless, perfect experience we've ever went through.

I had an installation and product misrepresentation issue that has been unresolved since July and it is now October. Simply put, they are slow to respond with follow-up and action, seemingly unwilling to compromise on a settlement or other solution. I was promised an effective blackout shade for my media room. On installation, there are several major light leaks that are more than small and distracting. I paid over $600. Too bad so sad for me. I highly recommend you find another vendor. They may do a good job on an installation. If they don't, fasten your safety belt, you're in for a rough ride. This company appears to not be service focused beyond the sale.

I would like to tell you about my recent experience with 3 Day Blinds. I used 3 Day Blinds for a window at my house then used them for 2 windows at my Mom’s. Therefore, when she needed new blinds for her sliding door and another window, we contacted the company again. What a MISTAKE! We had the design consultant to the house on July 17, and ordered 3 shades and 2 cornices, and subsequently received the email so we could track progress. By July 30, the tracking showed the cornices were completed but the shades were still in manufacturing.
I contacted the design consultant and the customer service people by email for an update. The design consultant never contacted me but I received an email on Aug 1 from customer service that the shades were estimated to be completed on Aug 6. Aug 6 came and went without the shades. I contacted customer service again on Aug 8 who informed me that the material was discontinued and we needed to contact the design consultant to order something else. This is 3 WEEKS after ordering AND after the original customer service message on Aug 1 said they would be ready!! In addition, they told me I would need to contact the design consultant to start over.
I contacted customer service and told them they needed to contact the design consultant and have her contact me. The design consultant contacted me on Aug 13 and confessed that she had dropped the ball in not notifying us of the discontinuation when she was notified on it about 1 week after we placed the order. I do appreciate her honesty but everyone dropped the ball on this and it doesn’t explain the customer service response on Aug 1 that the blinds would be ready on Aug 6. She came back to my mom’s house on Aug 14 and new material was ordered.
No tracking information was sent for this order so on Aug 21, I contacted customer service again. The agent said the order was place on Aug 19 (!) and the order showed money was owed. I told him to contact the design consultant to straighten it out since I was sick of dealing with them and there was NO money owed! In addition, I told him the expectation was for these blinds to be expedited and I wasn’t paying for that!
The installers contacted us the week of Aug 26 to set up installation on Sept 4. However, when the installer arrived, he only had the shades—no cornices! He called around but no one knew where the cornices from the original order were. He installed the shades and later went to the offices to look for the cornices. He was able to find them but of course, they needed to to set up another appointment to have those installed.
By Sept 6, I hadn’t received a call to set up an installation of the cornices. In addition, my mom noticed 2 of the 3 shades were a darker color. So on Sept 9, I contacted customer service again. This time I was sent to a “case manager” to handle my call (Christian **). Apparently the original order with the cornices wasn’t linked with the new order! I also told her about the shade color differences so she said she would get a new order in process and link the old order with the cornices to it. I never heard any update from her despite emailing and calling her.
On Sept 13, I called customer service again. This time I asked for a supervisor and got Sabrina who was actually the most helpful of everyone. She investigated and found that the shades were done but the cornices had been returned to wherever they came from! Therefore, the cornices would need to be redone… Finally on Sept 27, the 2 new shades and cornices were installed.
Does this sound like any way to run a business?? All the installers for both installations were great—on time, professional, courteous, and minimized the mess. I am so disappointed in this latest fiasco—I should be charging you for my time and energy with all the calls and stress! I will never use your company again and will tell everyone to avoid you at all costs. I tried to give zero stars but it wouldn't work. Therefore, the one star is for the installers and Sabrina. You should be called 3-Month Blinds…

Top down cordless blinds. I am very disappointed in the quality of the blinds. And they are not cheap. I paid $2300 for these blinds. I was told by the 2nd installer that the manufacturer had changed their product about 3 years ago. 5 of my 7 blinds were uneven or crooked after I adjusted them to how I wanted them. This installer explained that they can be hand-manipulated and showed me how to fix them. The 1st one did not share that information.
I had outfitted my entire previous home with this 3 Day Blinds product about 3 years ago. They were very nice - I never had a problem at all, which is why I ordered this again. I am so disappointed in the quality of this "new one" - the plastic parts and only 1 tab for raising and lowering the blind. I gave it 2 stars because the customer service team was beyond helpful and proactive. I was impressed. And the 2nd installer was equally helpful and informative. Otherwise I would give it 0 stars and I would not recommend this product to a friend. I had been quoted blinds for the rest of my house and I will not continue with your product.

I hope that you do not need 3-Day Blinds Customer Service because it's awful! So here it is 2 weeks after my install date, and I have nothing to show for it, No Blinds were installed because they forgot to include the 2 remotes and 2 power adapter with long cords. And they have billed me for 2 payments to GreenSky financing. I had to make two payments so far for nothing! Customer Service does not return calls. I talked with Robert **, 3-day blinds customer service agent, on 9/30/2019. He told me he ordered all the parts including a FREE WIFI adapter for my inconvenience. He said he would follow up every day and let me know what's going on and some dates for delivery and installation. I never heard from him since. You have a choice, Read the California BBB review. All 1 star!

I went with 3 Day opposed going with another company. I was given an install date and took the time off from work, given an install time between the hours of 9 am and 1 pm. I waited until 12:30 to call and was told that the driver was within his window. I informed the Cs rep that I was in Ohio and he only had a half and hour to get here. I was informed that he was on another job that was taking longer to install. I waited and receive a call from him around 2:30 tell me that he could not tell me how much longer it was going to take. I miss a day of Pay, lost wages, my time for being stuck in my home all day and the balance owed was taken out of my account long before the install was to be completed. Now it's up to me to lose another day from work and miss getting paid just to have more excuses for poor customer service robbed on every level.

We bought blinds from 3 Day 15 years ago, and it was serviceable. They still look good, and had rails in good shape. We had a little problem with things wearing out, and we were looking to fix them, and the young lady recognized the problem, so we did it. Working with their customer service and sales team, I couldn't ask for anything any better. If somebody was interested in blinds, I'd certainly recommend 3 Day Blinds.

I got a gray vertical blind for my living room from 3 Day Blinds. Everything was great. Ellen came twice. She came in December, and then I called her back and she came back. I like Ellen. She could be a personal friend. The installation process was good. The guy was really professional and he explained everything. The cost of my blind in relation to its quality was worth it.

f I could give you zero stars I would! Unethical 1000%. Complete Bait and Switch and terrible product. I never even signed a contract! I had 3 Day Blinds come out to give a quote on Norman Shutters. I already had Norman shutters, but had new windows installed that resized them. I was very happy with my outside mounted shutters. The sales person convinced me that their new Z-Frame was exactly the same, but better because it would sit more flush on the wall. He did not have an example of the frame to show me, just in their catalog.
After waiting 6 weeks I was devastated and disappointed. The shutters were attached to a cheaply made build out frame that was NOT disclosed to me. It's made of an entirely different material like cheap ply wood and isn't even the same color as the frame. All of the corners were damaged, cracked, had gaps and did not line up. The frames don't even sit flush on the wall. Drill holes all over the inside where they mounted the frames. Outside mount frames sits flush and the all installation holes are hidden. This was not disclosed to me by the salesperson, he told me I was getting exactly what I had.
My black out shade that I had ordered also was missing for 4 weeks. When I finally got it, they installed it wrong. In fact, it sits so sight in there that the cord has already broke and it rubs the frame when I open and close it. After multiple complaints and 4 weeks 3-Day insisted I needed to have them try and repair first. The repair was a hack job that made everything looks worse. They came in with brown caulking on white shades...and you can't fix these problems with caulking. I was told by my rep that they would not approve my request for outside mounts, that first they would have to reorder the Z-Frames in good faith to give them a chance to make it right. I told her I did not want the UGLY build out and that if they are custom made they could be made thicker to not have to attach them to a plywood frame.
After another 4 weeks of waiting the master bedroom frame showed up crushed on the bottom right side. I told the installer NOT to install it, but he did it anyway. He then tried to cover up the damage by cutting it out with a razor blade and filling it with window caulking. My dining room frame is no longer sitting level because the new frame is not square and all the corners have the same exact damage, (actually worse) as before. I paid for custom shutters, not these piles of junk. The quality is appalling, install job terrible. They charged me thousands of dollars for junk. Now they are completely ignoring me as if these new frames are acceptable. I want a refund for this pile of junk. You should be ashamed of yourselves. I paid for brand new, not damaged junk. They are frauds and liars.

This was my second time ordering from 3 Day Blinds.
2. They charged my cc for the remaining 50% without my authorization.
3. They do not follow up with call backs if you leave a message.
There are much less expensive and better quality companies that work honestly and do not have such poor customer service.

We were in a desperate need to get something on the windows because we just moved in, and the ones that were up broke. I have heard about 3 Day Blinds often, so we went with them. We had a good experience, so we went again and ordered some for another room. I kinda knew what I wanted and the rep just showed us the different options we had. And for the second area, which was the garage area, I knew what I wanted, so he just gave us what we wanted. The installation process was very good. The only snag we had was one of the blinds had a cord on the wrong side, and they reordered the one, and it was put up very fast. The garage blinds went up perfectly. They were very well-qualified to do the job. I have recommended them to my daughter-in-law who’s going to be getting a new home soon.

I love the blinds I picked out, but could have purchased a similar style/color for much less by ordering from another vendor. I experienced excellent customer service during our consultation but when I had follow up questions the responses seemed defense and short. Additionally, I had concerns after the blinds were installed. The sales consultant NEVER followed up on her sale - very disappointing. And needless to say, my concerns never got addressed.

I had used 3 Day Blinds before and they were absolutely great. And also, I called five or six companies, two of them called me back. I wasn’t here when the other one called me back, so I left a message again and never heard from them again. Only 3 Day Blinds followed through like they did before. I got the faux wood blinds. The design consultant came over, and she was training somebody, so they were both here. It went excellently, but I knew that within an hour, I was gonna have the order placed. I already knew I was gonna go with them. The installation was perfect. There was an issue with my house and it turned out the installer had to take the blinds down and cut and readjust twice. He did not leave until he was totally satisfied it was perfectly done. And he was right, they were perfectly done.

We spent over $12000 on shades and blinds for a house we recently moved into. First, it took over 2 weeks to get them. When they were installed they were not all there, a few did not fit and had to be reordered, they installed cords when they were supposed to be cordless, etc. A case was opened, but the case manager would not respond to my emails or return calls. They have sent out an installer 5 times. He agrees the product is defective, but they still will not fix them. I am trying to get our design consultant to get me in touch with a manager. Nothing yet. So frustrating. Anybody take them to court?

After calling, holding, being hung up on and contacting my designer, and no callback from anyone, three days later I call back and the initial hold time was 10 minutes 39 sec before I spoke to a person. Not a happy camper and I will not give 3 Day Blinds a recommendation WITHOUT including issue with customer service.

We had used 3 Day Blinds previously. We used them again and our experience went really well. We purchased the Honeycomb Shade Nightfall GrandCell. It has the option of being like dark, one was see-through and one was not. So, the bedrooms had the darker one where you couldn’t see through. The consultant from 3 Day Blinds came over to our home and he was very friendly, very knowledgeable, punctual, and gave us different options. We also asked for his feedback which he provided, so it was an overall wonderful experience. The installation process went well as well. The guy came out promptly and there was no problem. The blinds has very good quality. The only thing I wanted to follow up with the installer is the strings that are attached to the blinds are a little bit loose. But otherwise, it was fine.

I am very dissatisfied with the installation of roller shade in my 1000sq feet condo. Don’t get me wrong. I love the way it looks. And it adds beauty to my condo. But first of all I am disappointed with the very low quality of hold down brackets. It break while it was getting installed! Secondly bottom rail endcap coming out!! Already!!!! Thirdly prices are like 3 times more than I paid!!!!! I am a senior citizen with limited income and everyone tells me it is little over $3000???? They rip you off! And I personally think after the installation that for this tiny condo’s window treatment it is indeed way too much money. What more can I say? They should refund me the whole thing for doing business like this! I am including the pic of Bottom rail endcap and hold down brackets.

Blinds for 5 windows. Everything was great with 1 exception. When installer came he discovered that the blind for the guest bedroom had been measured incorrectly. He measured again & I was told I would be contacted when order came. A week later I had not heard from anyone so I called & learned that installer didn’t turn in order. Order was placed & installation appt was made. Installer never came. He called me the next day & said he had missed the appt on his schedule. Another appt made for Sept 13. Installer came & said the reordered blind still was wrong size. This order was placed July 12 & it is now Sept 16 & I still don’t have the blind.

We had a great experience with both Steve the consultant and our installers. We live the new blinds and shades. Steve helped us decide what would be best and we got everything in a very timely manner. Within two weeks we had everything. Wonderful! Price was very competitive and quality of the materials. New Blinds in Bedroom and loft area. Overall I am happy with my new blinds. This is the 2nd time I've used your company. Sorry to say, the new blind in bedroom has a problem. The cloth blind came off the plastic backing. I've tried to fix, it won't go back together. I wish my salesperson would have mentioned the fabric I chose would not show well with the plastic backing. Just looks like a white blind.

The sales person measured (1). The professional to measure came, yet measured from the bottom of the window (2). The installer came who was great, but could not get the roller to fit. He measured (3). The second installer came and it was too loose. He measured (4). He came back a second time this week and it was too big, it was not made to his guidance. He measured again (5). I am really frustrated by this. How many times is it gonna take and how much time from work will I continue to lose? I have had to be home now 4 times and still do not have the roller shade.

I went with 3 Day Blinds partially for their pricing and response. I tried a couple of others, and they didn't respond. So, I'm not gonna be running around to try to catch people. I purchased shades and the consultant was very friendly and knowledgeable. During the installation, they called, they came over and they installed it. There were some on backorder though, so they had to come back. Overall, my experience has been good.

I made it clear to Greg ** that I wanted all my shades to be the same color. I picked a shade, material and color that fit my desires. I was very happy with the shades. After several days I noticed a flaw in one of the shades. Additionally I was informed that this shade and color was no longer available!. I was told that I could not have them all replaced, just flawed one. Am not happy with the option you gave me. I feel you should give me a full credit for that particular shade.

Everything was excellent except the blinds in the casita do not fit behind the door handle. We are getting an extension on the door handle. Also, we did not get the bottom tie downs in the casita. The installer said it wasn't on his order, but it was on our paperwork. He said if we wanted them he would come back out.

I will need to replace 2 blinds because they are losing the strings. I contacted the representative but could not contact 3 Day Blinds as you are no open on Saturdays and during the week I can call early morning when you are closed. I ordered my window treatments in mid August and they were scheduled to be installed on the 28th. The rep must have mismeasured because the treatments wouldn't fit the window. The installer said he'd take care of it and order replacements. We called and emailed our sales rep multiple times, with no response. My case manager still hasn't reached out after my multiple follow-ups. We are coming up on 1 month of waiting for our order to be fulfilled and we have heard NOTHING from the company, our case manager, or the sales rep. I'm expecting some kind of refund for dealing with this horrible/non-existent customer service.

I have Three Day Blinds in all four of my bedrooms. I replaced two of them. The technician that installed them did a great job however I am disappointed in the quality of the "pulls" (string) on two of them when I compare it to ones I already have. It is thinner, and the clip that holds it together is very fragile. It came apart when I tried to raise and lower the shade. The tech suggested I glue it and then tape it to secure it. Really!! The shades are not cheap but they do not measure up to my expectations at all.

I am VERY satisfied with the blinds I ordered/had installed from 3 Day Blinds. I had 2 rooms worth of bay window blinds where the central blind had broken. I’ve learned lessons in the past that replacing these vis DIY methods was very frustrating and not what I wanted. I contacted 3 Day Blinds, a friendly consultant came out, we assessed what I needed, options were provided, blinds were purchased and ordered, and installed within about 2 weeks. I am so happy with my purchase that when I am ready to replace other blinds in my house, I will go through 3 Day Blinds!

I've had 3 Day Blinds before and I like them. I like the looks of them. The first consultant that I dealt with years ago was a friend of mine. She works for 3 Day Blinds. And then I dealt with another woman and she was very nice. The installation guy was here in and out, and that was it. It was fast. I've recommended 3 Day Blinds to a friend when they were needing window treatments for their brand new house. However, they live in Olympia and they decided to go with a local blinds company.

We had the rep come in to quote 5 blinds for the last 5 windows of our home. We have blinds for 40 windows. We told the sales rep, we want exact same. He wrote up the order with just part numbers, we asked, "Are these the same," he said yes. Order showed up and all 5 were wrong. Called 3 Day Blinds and were assigned a "case manager" aka a "no way will I help you manager". The Manager, was understanding and said, "We will get this resolved for you." Called back and said, "To resolve it you need to buy more blinds, the order was written this way." What? We showed you the other blinds on what we needed and your rep screwed up. I found out later that 3 day blinds bought out EDDIE Z's blinds and the rep worked for them before 3 day, and according to the installer, the reps from Eddy Z's really didn't get it. OMG.
I've been working now with the installer Tristate and Hunter Douglas to resolve this, because 3 day blinds are not helpful whatsoever. They talk a great game, but in the end they will not back their work, period. Now I'm sure they will respond with some blanket response to this post which is fake promises, like call us we care, I'm sorry you had such a poor experience, our "leadership" team will work on this for you. Okay, sure they will, nothing but Fake Fake Fake garbage. Nick's solution is, "Buy 5 more blinds and we will discount the new ones by 40%."

Before I start here's a few points of details for you. 1. Not only did my product come a week late multiple shades were delivered damaged. 2. It took nearly nearly a week and a half for someone to even contact me after my case was created. 3. The rep literally told me the reason was because they had too many customers to handle and the company isn't giving them the beginning resources to handle it, couldn't believe my ears. 4. It ended up going to a supervisor named Gina and quite frankly she was extremely rude to me.
I bought my blinds in April and it only now has it gotten resolved. I paid for 3-day shipping and I paid for it to be installed fast as well which both ended up failing. I really wish I would have reviewed company prior to going with them because they have a terrible reputation. The initial customer service person I dealt with didn't know what he was doing so they sent me to some supervisor named Gina who ultimately didn't do anything but delay the process even longer and TBH was very rude.
Truly beware of this company. Not only are they unprofessional but their customer service is obviously overworked. The customer service agent that I had on the phone said that they had over a hundred plus customers they were dealing with and that's the reason that it took so long to provide my resolution. If you ask me that's a little ridiculous.

Some of the blinds were the wrong product; we ordered an extension pole for our 89 year old mother to open and close her blinds, that didn’t come so she had blinds she couldn’t open or close. Finally, one window had 2 identical blinds except one had 2 handles and the other had 1 handle. Their reason? The width of the windows differed by 1/8 inch, and that was the cut off for 1 vs 2 handles. We’re still waiting for the replacement blinds for the wrong products. You pay in full when you order, what were we thinking? It’s been 3 weeks since the install and we are sorry we ever called 3 Day Blinds.

Consultants lie to get commissions, ordering process not disclosed, does not know if they actually have stock of items and or when they will be actually received as well as zero customer focus. Consultant came in to home, was friendly and advised items/material was on backorder and if we needed it immediately it would be delayed a few weeks. We asked about how long and were told she showed material to be in per the manufacturer on the 16th (the date she advised us and we placed the order with her was the 3rd), and that she couldn't promise we would get it in the middle of the month based on the installer and their schedule that it would be around the 26-27 at the end of the month. We said ok and paid 51 percent vi credit card. On the 16th we received an email saying our order was backordered and new date was TBD.
The next month on the 7th I left a voicemail with the consultant, called customer service (they were closed) and emailed all on the email from the 16 asking why as show on the link for the tracking of our order was the order not placed until the 9th and why received an email a week after that that we had a TBD date. Hours later when speaking on the phone with the consultant she lied about ever telling us there was a scheduled shipment date on the 16th and that she said she told us if anything maybe we would hear back the next month. She also stated it didn't matter when the order showed it was placed because it was on backorder which we agreed to. (Our copy has no signatures or initials.) She then proceeded to tell me that she did tell us after lying that per the sheet from the manufacturer it was scheduled to be received on the 16th but that doesn't matter. She is not in that department.
I said to her, "See you just lied saying you never said that to us and now you admit it." She then hung up on me. I did call customer service again and did speak with someone who said they had some old numbers on the Internet so that is why probably said they were closed. She told me that when something is backordered it may take a few days or even be delayed until the next year or even never come in, I said that was never told to us and we never would have ordered. She said we signed and initialed to that. (Not true.) She also looked up the status from the manufacturer's schedule to ship sheet on the 6th (3 days after we thought we ordered but also 3 days our order was actually placed from 3 days blinds) and it showed shipping on the 16th. I asked, "Well if our order was actually placed on time maybe we would have gotten our shipment," she replied, "I can't say."
She also told me told me she wasn't in our home at the time the consultant was there so she can't comment what was told to us. She never acknowledged that fact I was hung up on from the consultant, she also stated that even though our payment was processed the next day after meeting with the consultant (which was a Sunday) it didn't matter cause that is part of the process whether or not you will actually get your order processed or not. Being lied to that your order shows it will be projected to be shipped from the manufacturer, never being told that your order actually has to be approved by a manager before it is even placed was never told, as well as the delay in even verifying where and when material is to ever be received if ever is abused!
This company sends out consultants to sell a product they cannot even guarantee you will ever get, not just based off of the manufacturer, bad weather, crisis, but also on their lack of processing orders, knowing their inventory/stock, all to get your money and to make a commissions. Horrible horrible service and deceitful sales. Go somewhere else for everyone!

Thinking it would be faster, I decided to go with 3 Day Blinds for our blinds at home. Their consultant came over and she was really good and honest. She helped me look at all my options and get what was best for our house in a good price point. I went for the white faux blinds and my parents said the guy that did the installation was very professional and quick, and he knew what he was doing. I find the blinds to be of good quality and definitely satisfactory so hopefully, they'll hold up for a while.

A repair person dispatched by 3 Day Blinds sent our shades directly to the company for repair. This was supposed to be a fairly quick job, but the blinds were never returned — somehow the return order was “cancelled” so while we waited and waited they never left the factory. Eventually they were shipped — maybe? They never arrived. Where are they? Nobody seems to know! We’ve been trying to get our blinds returned or replaced for *16 weeks* now, and are just astonished at how this can possibly be dragging out like this. *So frustrated, so angry.* Most of our emails and phone calls go unanswered. There is no excuse for being treated like this.

Over the years, we have put 3 Day Blinds in our large house and we’ve always been very pleased with their service. Then we bought new blinds not too long ago and the quality was terrific. Our consultant was pleasant and knowledgeable. She was upfront that the blinds would take a month, not 3 days. Actually it took about 6 weeks before the installer first came. He was also very professional, but about half the blinds ordered were the wrong size or didn’t work correctly. We waited another month before he returned with most of the correct blinds. We had very little response from the company during this time, and the summer sun was pouring into our main living area. We waited several more weeks before the final window was fixed. We are happy with the final product. Start to finish was three months.

My husband and I purchased our first home recently and are set to move in this weekend. We had our consultant out on the 23rd to measure and order blinds for 8 windows. The order came to about 4200 dollars. While expensive I thought surely I would be getting some good customer service as well good quality product. Tuesday the 26th I get a call from the installer asking when I wanted to schedule my appointment to have my shades installed as our consultant assured us that we would have everything ready to go by Thursday the 29th, just in time for our move-in on the 31st. I schedule the installer and arrange to work from home that day in the middle of a massive deadline at work.
The next day on the 27th I receive an email from a Bob L* a case manager informing me that 3 of my blinds are actually out of stock and won't be delivered until 9/27. I have NO window treatments currently on any of the windows of my new house. What kind of company doesn't have their system setup to inform the service reps when a certain material is out of stock BEFORE the customer pays them in full AFTER the installer already calls to install shades???? The best customer service was able to offer was a refund on our expedited shipping (which they claim was compensation offered, no, that's a refund). Fine. At least the most important shades in our upstairs bedrooms will get installed right? Wrong. I get a call today Thursday 8/29 from the installer stating that he does not have the shades for our upstairs and won't be coming to do the install because he has no product. I have now spent a day working from home for nothing.
I call 3-Day Blinds again and the customer rep tells me that we likely won't get our blinds until possibly tomorrow or early next week. What??? So I am just supposed to have uncovered windows so anyone can just look in??? Then he informs me that 7 of my 8 window shades have already shipped. This was news to me, considering I was told that 3 of the 8 wouldn't be available until 9/27. Wth is wrong with this company?? I have never dealt with people so disorganized.
Furthermore, I asked the customer service rep to have Bob give me a call to clear this up, and have yet to receive any type of call back, and based on the reviews I doubt I will. I fear I'm going to end up spending months without window treatments like some of the reviews I've read. I wish I would have looked at reviews beforehand and thus would have stayed away from this company. At this point I would rather get my money back and go with a local company that provides better attention to detail. What a crazy mess of a company.

3 Day Blinds has the worst customer service of all time, the company has SCAMMED me. With no help from the design consultant Christine ** (from the Kane County area), I have been dealing with customer service endlessly for two months trying to fulfill my order. First off, the company expects you to begin payments before the order is installed. The day my order arrived, there was a missing window that they omitted from the order. (Keep in mind I have started paying for my 12 windows but they only installed 11). For two months after the installation, I have been attempting to contact the design consultant, customer service, Tri-State installers (company that installed) ANYONE that will help me. Finally, after multiple calls, a customer service agent flagged my case has high-priority and sent me the invoice that was placed by Christine to the company.
She not only has submitted the wrong invoice (with the forgotten window) but she also has charge additional fees that I did not consent to. The signed consent invoice that was completed when she was in my home was DIFFERENT. BE CAREFUL when working with companies like this, where sales people only care about the commissions and not the quality and care of the customer. Please know, I am STILL WAITING for my missing window as I write this review, and I am being forced to begin making payments. Christine still has not taken action to help with my order, let alone taken this matter seriously. My concerns are not being acknowledged and my order has been unfulfilled to this day. I will be sure to steer clear of this company, and make it my duty to warn new, excited customers (like I was): DO NOT SHOP WITH 3 DAY BLINDS.

Blinds were installed 4 weeks ago. When the installer was finished, he realized he forgot the remote to operate blinds. Keep on getting runaround, was told "on the way" 2 weeks ago and still no remote. Has been 4 full weeks and still no remote. If not here this week, I will have them p/u the blinds and issue refund. If they don't want to do that then small court it is. This has been the worse co. I have ever dealt with.

We've heard good things about 3 Day Blinds and we got a decent quote from them, and delivery was probably the best. We purchased the regular aluminum blinds. We knew exactly what we wanted, so the rep didn't have to do any convincing. But she was very good at her job. The installation was wonderful, and so far, the blinds have been great. Everything from beginning to end was perfect.

3 Days Blinds is reliable. This it a big aspect why we went with them. When they tell you the time the blinds are gonna come in, they come in. And installation is no problem. I have three sets of gray vertical blinds in my big room. And then I also have beige vertical blinds in my bedroom. When they called to do the installation, the gentleman came. He put booties on, and he knew what he was doing. There was no mess. I was amazed. He took everything with him, all the cardboard from the blinds and the boxes. So, it was very effortless on my part. I didn’t have to supervise them. They were polite, and very knowledgeable. So, I highly recommend them.

The quickness of 3 Day Blinds caught my eye, even though it turned out not to be a three-day situation. Their work depends on your order and what you’re ordering. For me, it took them about two weeks. It was a little bit misleading, but it was okay since I wasn’t in that kind of crazy hurry. I was very pleased with the design consultant as well as the installer, who did an excellent job as well.
I got the Faux Wood Blinds and I’m a little disappointed on the quality. There are two that 3 Day Blinds is in the process of replacing. One of the ladders had a little thread where the slat in place was shredded, so it dropped down a little lower than the other. And then there’s something distracting me, which is a problem with the faux wood one. There's a couple of them scratched, but one, unfortunately, is right in my view of the kitchen so they’re gonna change out. Normally I shop around quite a bit, but I got the blinds to put my house on the market, so I was in a hurry. I’m not certain that I got the best deal out there. But I’m happy with the blinds and they look fine.

Working with the team from 3 Day Blinds was great and I love it. I had 3 Day Blinds that I’ve had for many years. And they had been restrung at least two times, so I decided it was time to get totally new ones. And I wanted the button to open all three at one time. I got the electronic ones, and the quality of the blinds is very good.
The consultant who came to my home was very nice and very personable, and I had all the confidence in the world in what she said. And I already knew 3 Day Blinds was very good, so she didn't have to do a real sales job on me. As for the installation, there was not a problem in the world. The installer just put them up and showed us how to use them, and that was it. He took the old ones away and we were happy.

Updated 10/09/2019: STAY AWAY. The product is just fine but it is not worth dealing with the customer service. Worst company I have EVER dealt with. I used 3 Day Blinds for the first time and had an issue that was very poorly (and slowly) resolved. I stupidly fell for their excuses and used them again; I believed their excuses and I shouldn't have. I used them for a second time in August. It is now October and I am still dealing with that same order. I ordered 11 blinds; 1 came the incorrect size. It took 5 weeks for someone to inform me they never reordered the blind in the correct size. Then, when it arrived, it was the wrong size.... again!
Another one of my blinds broke within the first week of receiving it. It took 2 weeks for someone to inform me that it was going to be re-ordered. That was over a month ago! I was just informed that, yet again, it was not reordered. They don't respond to phone calls or e-mails and only offer excuses. There is absolutely no customer service. If you don't follow up constantly, nothing will get resolved. I have also posted on this site previously and been told a customer service rep will get back to me and I have not had any follow up.
Original review: I have never sought out to review a company prior to my horrible experience with 3 Day Blinds. I have used the company at 2 of my homes and unfortunately had a terrible experience each time. Shame on me for giving them a second chance. My initial experience was for 4 blinds that I needed replaced within 2 weeks due to selling of the home. 2 of the 4 blinds arrived the incorrect size and I was told within a week the issue would be resolved. The company then informed me it would be ~ 4 weeks until my replacement blinds would be available for install due to a warehouse move. This delayed the sale of my home and was a huge inconvenience. Customer Service did not provide any compensation for the delay despite the warehouse move was something I was not informed about prior to my purchase.
I gave the company the benefit of the doubt and assumed I couldn't have a similar issue, as the warehouse move was an extenuating circumstance. Apparently, I was wrong. I purchased 11 blinds for my new home. One of the blinds came the incorrect size again. The installer told me it would be reordered and I would have the correct blind within a week. 3 weeks went by and I never heard from 3 Day Blinds. One month from the day I ordered the blinds I reached out to the company and was told that my replacement blind was never even ordered. This time, the excuse was that the person in charge of my case was fired and no one had been reassigned my case yet. It had been a month! They again were minimally apologetic.
They told me my new customer service rep would reach out within 1-2 days and the installer would reach out to schedule the new install within 1-2 days. 2 days went by and again, I never heard from anyone. I never heard from the installer or the customer service rep. I again contacted the company and I was told that my case was never opened for customer service, so no one even knew they should contact me to follow up. They assured me that this time the case would be opened and within 2 days someone should call me; I would think that due to all of their missteps they would call me sooner rather than later, but apparently not. I am still waiting to hear from Customer Service and the installer.
My mind is blown that a company is willing to provide a customer with excuse after excuse and not attempt to make things right. I should note that I did pay in full when I purchased the blinds and I regret doing so, as I am sure they would be more interested in assisting me if they were owed money. 3 Day Blinds, apparently 3 Month Blinds is more accurate.

Not a good experience and will never be back. Feel like it should be called 3 Day Cheap Blinds. We have a single blind that is in our front window and it started pulling unevenly. This morning it’s completely broken. The string came out and now we can raise our blind. This blind is used as it’s a main one for light in our living room. I called 3 Day and had been told by my rep we had a lifetime warranty well not true. They charge you for the repair person $85 so buyer beware. I will be taking my business elsewhere. I don’t normally complain but for the amount of money we spent we should be told we have to pay $85.

All of our products are covered under warranty, and we have options for in home repairs, mail in repairs, and drop off repairs. The repair services you needed were free under your warranty, but after the first year, there is a fee to have an installer come to your home to complete repairs. Looking at your work order, we did waive the fee for the installer to come to your home although you were no longer covered for this service. I see the repair has been completed successfully. I ordered a custom made plantation shutter to go on a window above my front door. It had to be measured and made unlike the typical window sizes. It came after 2 months as promised and was installed in a timely manner. The fit was perfect and the quality exceptional. I would definitely use this company again!

I am so disappointed with these blinds. I wasted so much money for something I could have just bought at a discount store, on clearance! First of all I was under the impression they were light filtering, they filter nothing!! Sunlight shines right through as well as the street lights outside my house. They are always coming of the track and I have to adjust them so to look straight. I was definitely swindled by the sales rep, who “seemed” genuine with me. I thought these blinds would be the best purchase I ever made, sadly I was wrong.

In the beginning of July 2019, I brought blinds for the living room, cost me over a thousand. He took measurement and stated the size is good and that another person will come and remeasurement, which they did. I waited a month for delivery and on the date of delivery I received a call telling me that they could not deliver my blinds because they claimed that it would not fit into the elevator or stairs. I told them that I have people that could walk it up that stairs. He informed me that they left. Really, how about they never was here. Normally, if a company is having a problem, they would come up and speak to you.
I called the company and the person I brought the blinds from, they want to put two blinds in my window (two rods). This is not what I paid for... I sent the person pictures of my blinds that I had at my windows (one rods) with I brought from Lowe's and a private contractor. Since they not able to give me the product I paid for, they refused to return my phone call or give me my money back. I've been living at this location for 47 years and had many rods (one rod) and never had a problem like this. Do not buy... Go to Lowe's or Home Depot any other place beside this. You will get rip off with this.
We apologize for any inconvenience. In reviewing your case, it looks as though we did order 1 head rail for your Vertical blind, but it did not fit on the elevator in your building. Apparently, your previous blind was hoisted over balconies along the outside of your building, but 3 Day Blinds did not feel this method was safe. We offered to reorder 2 blinds vs. the 1 at no additional cost so that we could fit the products in the elevators and still cover your windows, but when you said you did not like that option we refunded you for your order. We hope that in the future you will still consider 3 Day Blinds for your window covering needs, and thank you for considering us.

I placed a order on May 14, 2019. I wanted to order 2 more shades to match the existing blinds I ordered 1 year before. I was told that they no longer make the same valances, so to make them match I had to order and pay for new ones. Not until I sent a email 1st of July did anyone contact for my install. On July 10th someone from JD Installations came to install my new shades and valances. I was told at that time the the shades were not with the boxes (he didn't know why). This was the original reason for order in the first place. The installer left my house a mess (he never cleaned up the dust from installing the valences) and to make it worse he installed one with the wrong color. Still now as of Aug.15th. I have been calling 3 Day Blinds, put on forever holds and no call backs and no help:( but 3 Day Blinds has been paid in full. This is by far the worst customer service I have ever experienced in my life.

I placed an order with "3 Day Blinds" 5.11.19. The sales professional made recommendations and I placed an order for 3 blinds. This order was for the amount $1932.45. The order came in the following week and an installer came to place them in the window. The installer then advised that the windows were not measured properly and the blinds sent would not fit. One of the blinds was nearly double the size of the actual window. I allowed their customer service department to provide me with a refund for the overcharge on the window that was doubled in size and they offered to refund the cost of installation as an apology for the mistake and delays as they would have to get the new ones to me the first week of June.
I was okay with the delay and the concession for the cost of installation was fair to me, however by mid June and without information as to when the blinds would be complete I began to look elsewhere for window coverings. I made 6 calls to the first assigned case manager Judith **. No response or reason was provided as to when the order would be completed. 6/27 I received an email response that the unprocessed order could be cancelled. I responded to confirm that my bank was notified to reverse the credit charge for the blinds.
One month later on 8/2/19 to my surprise I received an email from another "case manager" stating the order was finally produced as of 7/27/19 and ready to be installed. It further advised if I did not contact them the items would be forfeited at the end of the month, they stated that they provided me a 55% discount on the blinds by them offering free installation. I responded to this email on 8/4/19 to Ms. Carolina ** and advised I would be indeed willing to accept a 55% discount and install the blinds if they are made. I would pay the company once installed and confirmed to be the correct size.
Today is 8/15/19 - No email response received from their "case manager". At this point not a surprise as the prior "case manager" was inattentive to timeliness as well. I cannot believe a company has such poor customer service. Clearly there are some major issues and I do hope that their corporation takes note of the type of poor service they are providing to the public. My case number is **. 3 Day Blinds may reach me by email if they wish to resolve this issue.

After a year my motorized Patio shade stopped working. I called and an Esther ** stated a case manager would contact me soon. After a few days this case manager, Laura **, left a phone message on my home landline phone, saying I should get a new one by Wednesday. The new one arrived that day, But it was a unit with a PULL CORD, not the motorized unit! I have called her and left many messages, emailed her many times also, with never any response for another week now. I think the only thing left for me to do is write a letter to the Wisconsin Consumer protection agency, and go to my local BBB and file a complaint with them. BEWARE, do not deal with 3 Day Blinds!

I wanted something that was gonna be inexpensive, and I looked 3 Day Blinds up. Their sales rep was wonderful. His customer service was really good. He was very, very knowledgeable on everything about the blinds, and he made sure that the measurements were completely accurate. When they came to install it, everything was perfect. The installation only took an hour or so. We got the comb one, and I love everything about it. It exceeded expectations. We've recommended them.

Our design consultant from 3 Day Blinds was wonderful. She knew from the looks of our house what would go where and how it would look. And she was right because it looks great. The installation went really good. And some of them took away the old things for us, so we were very happy about that. We got blinds and shutters, and we love them. We really like the shutters, but we only could get one pair because that was all we could afford. But the blinds are fine.

Please do yourself a favor and DO NOT order from this company. The whole thing from start to not even finished yet is a disaster. $7k worth of blinds and it's been months with little response and terrible customer service. The lady, Naz, who came was a complete ignorant person who had no idea what she was doing. She mis-measured EVERYTHING, not fit, wrong blinds came, you name it. What could go wrong has gone wrong. The installers have been here 5 times with zero results. PLEASE READ ALL THE REVIEWS ABOUT THIS COMPANY BEFORE YOU DECIDE TO BUY FROM THEM....

I am so very sorry I went with 3 Day Blinds. I used them years back at a previous home and they did a good job on all new wood blinds throughout my house. I also note, this was back when you went into the store to order. On May 13, 2019 a designer came to my home and she measured the windows that I wanted to be complete. I decided on wooden, white, wide blinds for the dining room and custom made, drapery panels, ring loops and a new black rod for my large, sliding door in my living room. I was excited!
However, my fabric was back ordered, so I had to wait past the end of June I was told. After many, many phone calls, I finally learned that my order would be completed mid July. Previous to this, I did learn that my wooden dining room blinds was received by their installer, R&R Installations in Sacramento. I know they didn't want to make a partial trip to Concord to install, but I was eager to have at least a part or my order installed, as I have paid in full! The wooden blind was installed on May 25th. The installer who came for the blind was very nice, however the valance over the blind was damaged and he said he would have to order a new one. I am still waiting for that to be resolved.
In July I received a call from received a call from a Venitza **, saying that they did finally get the back ordered fabric, but unfortunately it was flawed so they could not have the panels made. I couldn't believe it! Finally on August 1st a package (I guess it was the panels) was shipped up to R&R Installations in Sacramento. I know this because, I was able to get some info from OnTrac, their overnight service. It is now August 12th, and I still have no drapery in my living room and I still have a broken valance over my blinds in my dining room. I ordered all of these products and paid in full with the designer in my home on May 13th. This is inexcusable how 3-Day Blinds treats their customers. I would never recommend them to anyone. They have the worst customer service I have ever experienced as a homeowner. Sincerely, Anne

Great service, product, except for the open and close lines. Get easily tangled and one slat is ALWAYS cockeyed. Installer came back to swap out damaged-in-delivery slats, and adjusted the cockeyed one, but, it's back. Great overall product.

I have used 3Day Blinds for 24 years. Most of my house is 3Day Blind products. I appreciate all the Reps that have come to my home. They have been professional and knowledgeable. I love the products. BUT in this last order, I chose a blackout blind for my guest bedroom. It has a huge halo around the perimeter and does not darken the room. I'm disappointed and would not have changed what was there (a 3Day Blind) had I known. This picture was taken without the other window blackout drape. It's more obvious when that is up too.

I bought blinds, roller shades, valances, to the tune of over $12,000. Jackie was our designer and she was great. The installation guy did everything he was supposed to do. He kept everything neat and cleaned it up. We looked at them and pointed out something wrong, and he told us we were right. They didn’t cover up the window completely. So, I contacted Jackie, and then somebody contacted me. 3 Day Blinds sent Eric back out here and he remeasured it. They are redoing every valance. But the installation process met my expectations. Eric was really good.
When Eric left, I thought they were gonna be okay and the fabric was gonna be relaxed. But when I looked at them, they were not. So I called Jackie, and she came back out here. She remeasured, and said the fabric won’t relax. Two of them didn’t even come close to fitting the window. And the ones in the living room and the kitchen are not even close.
I absolutely love the quality of the items that I got from 3 Day Blinds. And I’ll be really happy with the valances once they get them in, which will not be till the middle of next month, and I’m not happy about. My biggest pet peeve right now is they have every dime of that $12,600 and I’m looking at valances that they’ve left hanging up here that do not cover my windows. I paid so much money for beautiful valances that I ordered, but they were too narrow. I sent an email and told them about it but I haven’t heard a word back. I’m not happy about that either.
When Chris called me after they got my money, I would’ve waited for five weeks by the time they’re supposed to be here. I sent an email to Chris asking for updates on my valances because it was over 10 days already. He sent an email back saying that my valances have been ordered and to expect them between September 10th and the 17th. When I saw that, I was not happy because I knew they had been paid in full. I should’ve never allowed that second payment to go through. I’m having a party over here for my birthday on the 11th of September, but what can I do? I have to just sit here and look at them. Overall, 3 Day Blinds has a good product, and I would recommend them. In fact, I already have. There’s a lady I know who bought a brand new house in Tamron and she asked me who did the valances. My original order was placed on May 15th and I am still trying to get my order properly filled. I ordered longer wands on July 10 after my first install and will finally get them on Aug 14. This will be the 3rd visit from the install team. The installers and scheduler have been very professional and courteous, but the company just can't seem to get it together. Hopefully all will work out on August 14th.

We got three different things from 3 Day Blinds. We’ve only received one of them, and I’m still waiting for the rest of our order. But I knew it was gonna be this long. They gave me the estimates of how long it would take. There were two things that were gonna be longer, one was a shutter coming from a different vendor, and one was a vertical blind. My shutters are coming at the end of September. The vertical blinds is supposed to come between 8/15 and 8/22, which is the one for our bedrooms. It’s very bright in there so I’d be happy to have them.
The designer was phenomenal. She was very thoughtful, and had a lot of great suggestions. The installation team was very nice, and very professional. We had somebody scheduled for later in the day, and they called me that morning so they could come earlier. So they came earlier and did it very quickly. The quality is great.

I added 4 more windows and a slider blind from 3 Day Blinds as I loved my blinds that I’d purchased a few years earlier for my living room. I do love the slider blind. The window blinds are good but they don’t seem as sturdy as my previous blinds so I’m not as ecstatic. The service was excellent by all of the team from the salesperson to the appointment scheduler to the installers.

I have used 3 Day Blinds several times, and never had this problem. Our sales rep was good, and we like the blinds and shades we chose. The installer forgot to put brackets on the bottom of the shade on a door. One of the blinds broke the day after we got it (a string broke). The installer would not come back to put the brackets on until the broken blind was resolved. Finally another installer came a month later, put the brackets on, and took the broken blinds to be fixed. That was 2 1/2 weeks ago, and we have not heard from the installer. When I call R&R installation, they haven't located our blind yet in the warehouse. Our sales rep has made some calls, and no one has called us back to resolve this. In addition, we paid half when we ordered the blinds, and the other half was charged to our account (June 21) before the blinds were installed. (June 25). This has been a terrible experience.

I ordered two new mini blinds and put in a repair order to restring two honeycomb blinds on 7/15/19. The new mini blinds came. One was installed; the other one was built incorrectly - 6 inches too short - and a replacement was ordered many weeks ago but has not yet been delivered. The delivery person took the honeycomb blinds in for repair at that time - weeks ago - and I still do not have them back. I am extremely disappointed with this poor performance by 3-Day blinds. It has been almost a month since I started this and my house is still missing the mini blinds for one window and the honeycomb blinds. These are things I paid for weeks ago and there is no expected delivery date. I would give them ZERO stars for this if it was possible. 3-day blinds does not seem to care about this customer.

We wanted some type of window covering to be installed over a sliding glass door; the morning sun comes in and is hard on the eyes, during the winter months. My wife insisted that they would be as inconspicuous as possible; our design consultant made the perfect choice- pull-down accordion shades. They are perfect- we just was completing a full remodel of the downstairs and they blend perfectly with the new paint/color scheme. Plus, you can hardly see them, when they are "rolled-up"-everything my wife wanted. The installation tech took extra time to demonstrate how to care for/maintain the shades-excellent customer service.
The sole glitch in the entire experience was: We made the original appointment for 3:00 P.M. At 12:30 P.M., as we sat down to enjoy lunch at a local restaurant, our design consultant called and wanted to meet immediately-almost 2.5 hrs early and we were not at home. We agreed to keep the original appointment time- the design consultant was 20 min. late, since they decided to do some shopping in the interim. That's the only downside to the entire experience: the design consultant seemed to value, her time more than ours-the customer. But, she did take all the time in the world to ensure we had what we wanted....

The design consultant who came out was knowledgeable and the installers arrived on time. They were really quick and our experience with them was great. I got mini blinds from 3 Day Blinds and purchasing them was a great experience. The rep was very professional, pleasant and she knew what she was doing. She knew all the options, and she didn’t try to push anything on us. She just listened to what we wanted and helped us go from there. The actual installation process went very smoothly and took a lot less time than we thought it was gonna take. I really like the blinds, though the only thing is, and this is our fault, they're mini blinds. I didn’t realize they were gonna be the kind where you pull the blind up rather than the kind that you can push up from the bottom and pull down without having the strings. I forgot about that and to even ask about that option. Other than that, we’re real happy with them.

The blinds that were supposed to be corded came in the cordless version, so the installers had to take them back and I still don't all the blinds I paid for. Isn't that just awesome? Original review: If you're looking for a part-time job calling/emailing customer service, this is the place where you want to get your blinds from. They were quick to come over and take my money. Got 3 blinds. 2 came defective (1 wouldn't move at all), and 2 came in the wrong color. Total of 4 defects for 3 blinds. One of the defective ones they thought they could fix it, so they took it back. Re-scheduled an installation for 3-weeks later. Less than 48h before that called to say that they couldn't fix it and would have to make new ones. You had 3 weeks to figure that out, you morons! You're more likely to hear back sooner from the Pope via pigeon post than from the "case manager" that is supposed to help you. The level of incompetence is off the chaaaarts! $1500 for 3 blinds over a month ago and I still don't have 3 working blinds. If you love overpaying and don't value your time, 3 Day Blinds is just right for you!

He worked around me and was very courteous. He was in and out and was always in communication. I knew when he was coming in, even up to the minute, as he called and told me how close he was based on what his phone's navigation was telling him. And my experience with him was awesome. I had a rep come to my home and I picked my blinds in April 2019. On May 6 she asked if I could pay in full (Which I did - big mistake). They came out to install some of the blinds in June and have still not finished the job. I have called the rep, Kris, that they assigned as my case rep and he does not return phone calls or emails. I have emailed the main customer support with no phone call or email response back. This is ridiculous. I have spent over $10,000 and paid in full (yes stupid mistake) and still do not have all my blinds installed!! If someone could at least call me back I wouldn't have gone and gave them this terrible rating - and called them weeks ago and told them so. Still nothing!!
Would not recommend them to anyone!!! I live in Colorado - so I'm sure I've given 3 Day Blinds enough info on this. Maybe a supervisor will figure it out and do the right thing and call me!!! I still need a few extra blinds I would like to get in my home and I will not be going through this company!!! Terrible customer service!! The one good thing - the installer was a hard working - good guy! The company customer service sucks!!

We got the Honeycomb on two skylights from 3 Day Blinds. The consultant who came out was perfect and the installer was great. His name was Mike and he was here twice. He was friendly, professional and thorough. He also cleaned up his mess. So far, the blinds seem pretty good. It's hot here and they’re helping with the heat. Everything was peachy keen with 3 Day Blinds. I learned about them from recommendations of friends and family members, and I decided to buy from them. I got roller shades with the color of cocoa and their rep who came out was exceptional. She knew the product and could explain everything to me because I told her I was a newbie. She was also a very strong team player and she even apologized about the blind being out of stock. But I told her not to worry about things she couldn’t control. In the grand scheme of things, I certainly had other things to worry about.
Outside that delay, my experience with them was wonderful. During installation, the installer brought his son with him to help, and he was superb. He performed exactly like the woman who talked to me about it said. She said it would take just a few minutes, that they'd clean up after themselves, and I wouldn’t have to worry about anything, and that was exactly what they did. They put everything in in about 5 to 10 minutes. They were a team and they worked as a team. Also, I was not disappointed with the product. In fact, I was and am still very pleased with the quality, ease of use, and everything about it.

My wife ordered 6 honeycomb cordless shades and they are functioning fine BUT I had a fit when I saw the "package and handling" and "installation" fees. For 6 shades $1747 we were charged $372 for "package and handling." We were also charged $235 for the installation which took him (and I'm not exaggerating) 35 minutes. Just recently I ordered 3 cordless honeycomb shades from Blinds To Go and shipping was $31 and I installed them myself (4 screws for each shade). 3 Day Blinds took advantage of my wife and lost us as customers.

No satisfaction guarantee...be forewarned. Hired 3 Day Blinds to match previously installed blinds by them 4 years ago (under a different homeowner). Their consultant came to my house to see the blinds and match them. Although she matched the material, she failed to tell me that the lower and upper trim was no longer in production. Now I have a blind that doesn’t match any of the other blinds in the room. They recommend I put that blind in another room. The ONLY reason I hired them was to match the rest of the blinds. At about $500 per blind (standard size double casement window) I could have just as easily mismatched the blinds with a cheaper company and saved a lot of money. Now after a month of bouncing around their overstaffed company, I still have yet to receive any direction on how to get the product returned and refunded. I’ll never do business with them again. Save your money and go elsewhere.

When the installer came to install my blind it was cut wrong in the factory so they took it back to fix it. That was two weeks ago and I still have no blind. The customer service people are completely unresponsive. Of course they have already charged me over $1,600 for this blind and no service. Don't use these people, they are horrible. **

Bought two cellular roller blinds from 3 Day Blinds for our sliding glass door with a western exposure in our new house. I needed blinds in a hurry as our new house in Florida did not have blinds on some of the windows and it was hot! Chose 3 Day Blinds even though they were more expensive because of their promise to have them installed quickly. Boy how things change after you pay for the blinds. The promises start to fade away. Only after I threatened to cancel my order within the 3 day cancellation period, did I get any service.
Unfortunately one of the blinds was rolled too close to the clamp and rubbed each time it was rolled up or down and eventually started to fray. They replaced the roller shade but their product clamps have changed and when it was installed it didn't fit right next to the other shade and left a large gap where sunlight came through and it hit the right baseboard so it doesn't lay right when it is down. Called Chandry ** with the warranty department while the installer was here to figure out a solution. She didn't answer her phone and has not called me back after more than a week. Their products are low quality, over priced and they do not stand behind their blinds.

Not satisfied. I feel cheated as I made a purchase of $3k. Not satisfied. We had blind stick so long - bigger than the length of our window and have been calling person in charge. No pick up of phone, no email response. We have gaps in blinds. Valance was showed in better in a picture but stuff that is put up is substandard. I have tried contacting customer service at 3 Day Blinds about the problem I’ve had with my $8,000 purchase of blinds, but I have not heard back from anybody. On June 1st I ordered 11 roller shades, 6 of which were motorized, and 3 plantation blinds. I was told the shades would come in and be installed within the week. The shades were not installed until June 22nd. The motors for my blinds have not been working since the day they were installed, and they are still not working. The day they were installed, and they are still not working. The company sent an installer out to fix the motors on June 29th, but as soon as he left, they were not working again.
Experience. The sales representative originally came out on June 1st and I was told the shades would be installed in less than one week. They did not get installed until three weeks later, and since the day they were installed, the motors on all windows were defective. I had a service rep come out and try to fix the motors on June 29th, and they worked for the short period of time he was there, but shortly thereafter they stopped working again. I have called the company and left messages, as well as emailing customer service, and I also completed a survey that was sent to me, expressing my dissatisfaction. I have yet to hear back from anybody and it's July 15th.

Jim ** - Case Management Specialist and Justin ** - Sales. You sold my wife blinds. You took measurements and set up the order. We had a few questions of Justin while we waited but Justin was done with this sale and never responded. To date, after getting paid, Justin has been a ghost. Order was wrong and also missing parts. After repeated efforts to find out why parts weren't delivered. After countless waits on phones and getting the runaround. Instead of enjoying her blinds after the long delivery wait my wife has had nothing but stress and aggravation. As sad as it is to say, 3 Day Blinds is lying. Now in the mix is a Jim ** who has done nothing to resolve the issues and only adds more frustration for my wife. Conclusion? If you want customer service from a reputable company with salespeople who don't disappear, go anywhere EXCEPT 3 Day Blinds.

I informed my consultant, Debbie, that I was going to have surgery and wanted my blinds in prior to my surgery date. I was informed that it would be done, as long as it was paid for... Of course, Three Day Blinds called for payment and was on top of things. Then it changed, etc. Stress came in. I spent over $1,200 at the end it May, it is now July 11th and I still am having issues with my blinds. I was told that my piece had come in. I told the rude customer service person that called, not to send anyone to my home if they did not have the correct piece because I have had three prior visits, all with the incorrect valances/returns. This would be the fourth visit. She said that she did not want to send anyone into a "hostile environment." REALLY??
I wish I would have read these reviews before I spent my money dealing with Three Day Blinds. I will not use them to order draperies for the remainder of my home or for anything else. I wish that I could get my old blinds and a refund. The company does not take responsibility for their mishaps and customer service, that is non-existent.

Three years ago we bought six Hunter Douglas Duettes, including motorized Vertiglides for the sliding glass door. 3 Day Blinds was helpful and courteous to get the sale. After the sale, the whole attitude changed. Within weeks, the motor broke. Two weeks to get serviceman out. Two weeks to get replacement motor. Two months later, most hanging hooks pulled out of shade fabric. Two weeks for service call. Another two weeks for curtain replacement with thicker fabric properly designed for motorized system.
One month ago, drive line broke. After runaround and being ignored, we decided to abandon use of the expensive motor drive and simply open and close by hand. It wasn't worth the hassle and poor communication to get a repair under warranty. Also, the technician they scheduled to come out to look at problem informed us he "knows nothing about Hunter Douglas products". Perhaps 3 Day Blinds strategy is to inconvenience clients into submission. Though we are extremely careful with our window coverings, a cord broke on a five foot by seven foot top-down, bottom-up Duette. Same hassle and runaround. 3 Day Blinds is set up for sales - NOT SERVICE. I would never use them again.

3 Day Blinds charge a premium, insist on a huge up front deposit-which I refused. The salesperson specified a PVC material in a full west sun exposure window. I was overseas deployed and the blinds became burned as PVC material will. When I inquired about a repair or replacement of some type they said they wouldn't cover it. Their choices for materials and no warning this may happen. I paid over 6K for my blinds and they got the money and ran. Incompetent quick sales operation.

I had a consultant come out and measure my living room and kitchen for drapes. Don’t know what type fabric they are. Anyway my bill was $6000. When it came time to install the guy came out with drapes in hand and no rod. Made me sign a paper which I did. Said he would be back then he went on vacation. I later called California their office and was told rod was shipped to installer but he has to work and he would not stay home to sign for rod. This went on for two weeks. Another installer came with rod today and drapes are missing hooks he stated we must of had. He went into bedroom where drapes where are stored and looked under the bed for hooks. What a mess. I asked for money off. They told me they would give me only shipping and handling. About 250 dollars. Be careful with this company. I am still negotiating.

Horrible experience and will definitely spread the word how terrible their customer service is. I set up a consultation visit for 12 NN and I was informed AFTER I’ve set up the appointment that they will arrive between between 12-1 PM and will need 2 hours to discuss 2 small windows for blackout shades. 2 hours!!! I informed them that I only have 1 hour and 20 minutes because I have an appointment, but suggested I should just reschedule due to not enough time after asking me how much is my budget. After expressing my disappointment over the phone, they said “let me turn this around” but never got a call back and no one ever showed up. Unprofessional! Worst customer service!

I purchased 3 blinds. 2 came with the wrong cord, and my large sliding door shade for $627 was the wrong product. I called California because my sales girl did not return my calls. I spoke with a JODIE **, “lead” there, whatever that means. When I told her I did not want to reorder the incorrect product that came and to just credit my account, that is when I was told she couldn’t and I signed a contract, which by the way I never received. I said the contract would be null and void since YOU sent the wrong product as well as the other two shades, have the wrong pull cords and were taken back. So 2 of my shades are inoperable since there are no cords and the installer took the cords back and the wrongly sent shade product. I have now put in a dispute with American Express for the cost of these shades. Horrible people! They are crooks and there surely is fraud going on here. They are rude and there is absolute NO customer service here. STAY AWAY!!!

We had an appointment with our sales rep on 5/10/19. On that day we contracted with 3 Day Blinds and paid the entire amount for 4 windows, which was immediately taken out of our checking account. On Monday 5/13/19 the re-measure representative came out to confirm the measurement with an install date scheduled for 5/17/19. Two days later a representative called and asked if we could change the appointment to 5/18/19, which we agreed to. On 5/18/19 the installer came out. Much to our dismay, the header for the blind was bigger than our hard sided cornice, due to being inaccurately measured (twice apparently).
It is now 5/29/19 and I continue to wait for the correct header so that our cornice can be re-attached. I should add that the blinds cost more than the windows they covered. In addition, one of the blinds already fell out. I was easily able to put it back, but still.... Also of note, I wanted a couple of extra blinds so that if one did break, I could easily replace it. Bottom line for that is that I was told that extra blinds only come in multiples of six and that cost me over $100.00 as I had to get 12 blinds or nothing at all. I am not pleased.

ISSUES: Since I am on a limited income as an elderly woman, I am concerned about costs regarding renovations. I wanted 3 WHITE ROLLER SHADES AND NO VALANCES. Eric ** ordered the wrong color for one roller shade. I was pressured into buying valances to cover a gap along the top (there is no gap allowing light in and after seeing the installation, I wanted them removed). The cost of valances was not accurately conveyed based on a verbal quote of $10.00 to $20.00 by Eric **; actual cost $110.00. The shipping cost was not discussed and disclosed. The only copy of my transaction at the time of purchase is titled as a "Hold Order" which 3 Day Blinds is representing as a contract. I did NOT receive a copy of any signed agreement at the time of purchase.
Four days later, 2 people; Nicole ** and Tina **, from 3-Day arrived and priced the white shade at $282.69. Since I was already charged $599.15 for the NASTY TAUPE SHADE, the total amount for the one shade is now $881.84. Nicole said the taupe shade would be removed from my unit and I nixed that idea.
I plan on cutting it to pieces. If I were to purchase a white shade from another company, the amount would be even greater and 3 Day knows that. I will never use them again, nor recommend 3 Day Blinds; and they could not care less.
DETAILS: I wanted all WHITE ROLLER SHADES and NO VALANCES. I was told by Eric **, that valances should be included since there would be a gap along the top that would allow light to pass through. Since I was also concerned about the additional cost, Eric stated that the cost for the valances was minimal;between $10.00 and $20.00 per valance. I grudgingly agreed to three white valances and the order was placed along with three white roller shades;
one being room-darkening.
When the first valance was installed in the kitchen window, it was not flush with the wall and angled inward. It looked very sloppy and it was not white, it was ivory; as were the other two. The last roller shade WAS NOT WHITE, but was a very nasty taupe, which did not even go with anything in my room. I told the installer as soon he started to install the shade that is was the WRONG COLOR. The installer said he would take care of it and inform the company. I did not need to do anything. I was already steaming mad from the first window in the kitchen and decided to call anyway. The installer did nothing to support me.

We have a honeycomb shade that doesn't work. Not even 2 years old. The cord snapped and we have to pay $85 for someone to come get it, or $20 to send it in to be repaired. The blinds are broken. Look ridiculous. So disappointed after spending $4,000 on window treatments. Never again!!!

I cancelled my order within 3 days as my right, and while they did credit me for the initial down payment within several days, they went ahead and charged me the balance remaining. Why?? No good reason other than a "glitch". This is fraud. The order was cancelled. Why then charge me again. I paid interest on that charge and they would not reimburse me for that. You can not reach a live person EVER and the turn around time is never same day. They tell me I will get my money in 7-10 business days so I am out of pocket for an additional 2 weeks. Steer clear of this company!!

We had a appointment, a young lady came, we picked the style for 7 windows. I measured all the windows, but the young lady insisted on doing it herself. The blinds came more than 3 days later, they were all too too small, leaving enough of a gap that you could see inside the house, my measurements were correct. After a week, they sent another person to inspect the blinds and he concurred the the blinds were indeed too small! They reordered the right size, after 3 months, they were replaced. While the blinds are what we asked for eventually, I would not recommend these people.

Do not buy anything from this company. The sales person screwed up the order, wrong material for valance and I was told "tough **" you signed the contract. One of the shades is uneven and they don't care. The salesperson Sara is a total liar. This is overpriced and the product is inferior.

Salesperson was obviously rushing through the appointment and trying to get me to buy something quickly. The measurements were not accurate because I watched him miss the granite backsplash that intrudes into the window at the bottom which would make it impossible to put a shade all the way down. He had no sense of style and was simply telling me what other people buy. It was a waste of 2 hours and I won't be buying from 3 Day Blinds.

I met with a representative from 3 Day Blinds (Colorado Springs) and selected blinds for my French Doors. I was able to see a sample of the material, but as for the blinds themselves I was only shown a computer drawing. The blinds arrived two weeks later. The first blind was installed - it was HORRIBLE! There was a flimsy velcro attachment covering the side view of the window mechanism. The blinds themselves were crooked (this was NOT an installation problem). The drawstring to raise/lower the blinds repeatedly was caught in the blinds themselves.
When the blinds were raised all the way they bulged out. NONE OF THIS WAS SHOWN IN THE COMPUTER ILLUSTRATION USED TO SELL ME THE BLINDS. I immediately notified the company (call/email/pictures). They said their team would review my "case". They are now refusing to give me a refund. I will only receive credit to purchase new blinds. I have notified my credit card company, and they are disputing the charges. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!

We needed window treatments for several rooms in our home. Our search to find a company was quite difficult. You might not think it would be since we live in Minneapolis. We called and worked with 2 other local blind companies. The first company took our order and we never heard from them again. Not even to get our down payment. (Weird right.) The second company was twice the price of what I expected a fair price would be. We called 3 Day Blinds. Three must be the charm! They came out right away, measured, were extremely pleasant. They helped me choose colors. They were knowledgable about everything. They even brought their own printer to give me an estimate and a contract on the spot. My Roman Shades arrived prior to the promised date. They are stunning! I feel I received quality sewing and fabric. The installer was terrific! Thank you! I will recommend you to everyone I know.

I want to spare you the details but this was the worst experience I’ve ever had. Three Day Blinds should really be listed for me as four-month blind. I started the process in November and I just finished with them this last week. From the designer all the way to five installations I can tell you we only had one positive experience with one of the installers at the very end, who by the way told me to use Hunter Douglas next time. Had 3 Day Blinds install 4 honeycomb shades 7 years ago. They are very nice shades and do just what I need - insulation from heat and cold. I only raise and lower these shades once a day. After about 3 years the internal cords of one blind broke and they had to send it back to the shop. OK good. The cords on two of the shades broke and one of them 3 Day replaced free. The other one I had to pay $80 as they are "under warranty". I just had to pay for labor.
NOW! One of the cords broke on one of the other blinds. The installer came out, but the main office gave him a 4 foot cord and the shade has a 3 foot cord on it. Again, the main office knows exactly what kind of shades I ordered and how long the cords are. Shade still didn't work right. The main office ordered new parts (clutch and rollers). The installer came out but the parts were not for my blind. The installer then said the end cap was broken and needed to be replace and he would order several for me and would have them sent to me.
I received the caps but they are not for my shade. I again called and spent 30 minutes with the customer service person and was that the exact end caps for my shade would be sent to me. Again, the caps sent to me do not even look like the old cap and are not the right size. Oh Well. Guess I'll have to call the company that installed my other shades. They work perfectly. Again, 3 Day has nice shades but if they break watch out!

This was the worst experience ever. I am a first time home buyer. I spent upwards of 5k in the Plantation shutters. Lisa ** the interior designer assigned ensured me that I should sign and pay on the spot just to get the process started but that I had time to change my order after she sent examples of the other option we discussed. Short story she never sent it. 9 days went by and I called to request the other option. She said it was too late, I then asked to cancel the order. She informed me it was too late for that as well as she place my order an entire week earlier...without even consulting me.
The order arrived. They installed the shutter and punched a hole in my bathroom wall during the installation on a bathroom window (my brand new home), the build out on my shutter on the French door blocks access to the doorknob. We specifically asked about the size of the build out she said it was minimal and not to worry...that was a lie!
And now only 3 months later one of the shutters is warped and doesn't close properly and I have been trying to have this issue addressed for over a month now...and I've been work with customer service for all the other issues and they are sticking to "it's an unfortunate circumstance however you signed the documents "... In my opinion they are thieves just looking to make a sale. No standards for quality of product, installation or customer service. I'd rate them a zero if that were an option. I wished I had checked here first! Buyer be warned.

I spent several thousands of dollars on blinds for three rooms. The blinds took over three month to arrive and then more time to get installed. In the kitchen they had to be replace because they hung wrong, which of course took more time. Now the valance in my bedroom is falling apart. I have sent five different emails with photos attached and no one will answer me. $3000.00 dollars to them might not mean much to them but to me it is a lot. I used some money I was left from a death to pay for them. It is very disheartening that no one will take responsibility. Now I understand why my salesperson up and quit the company. Probably treated as bad.

I live in Northern Indiana: 30 minutes from Notre Dame, 1-1/2 hours from Fort Wayne, and 2 hours from Chicago. I filled out their form so I could order some samples. They stated there wasn't a representative in my area, yet they sent the samples. Based on statements on their website, I assumed I could measure, order, and install myself, of which I am quite capable. I received the samples and sent an email asking for a quote. Apparently, I can order samples but they can't sell me their products because there isn't a representative in my area. Based on these reviews, it sounds like I dodged a bullet. This company can't possibly last very long with this horrible business model.

Purchased around 21 vertical blinds with a lifetime warranty and no time limit on the warranty to the original owner. Over the years when there were issues with the many plastic mechanical product parts that would fail I simply took them to the store where they were purchased and they repaired them on the spot. Beautiful customer service. Now 3 Day closed all their storefronts so you must either order the parts you need online but they restrict what they will sell you like If a window has 30 shades and the plastic clips are heat damaged and falling apart they will sell you 10 of the clips when you need 30. When I try to order even 1 part the system doesn’t recognize my invoice any of them as I have several invoices. I have contacted this corporate office over and over and to date received No support. Nothing. Zip. Nada.
All I can say is if you're considering purchasing vertical blinds or any product from them no matter what they promise in their warranty BUYER BEWARE of their extensive use of plastic because once they have issues not only will you be unable to order the plastic parts required to repair them they will not help you. They do have a repair facility but to get their authorization to get them repaired under warranty seems to be impossible. I Be advised plastic will degrade with heat and most windows are exposed to the sun and heat so it's a bad design. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY. THEY WILL NOT SUPPORT THEIR PRODUCT WARRANTY IN ANY WAY, SHAPE OR FORM. Until I receive product support I will not change my view about their product quality.
A good corporate citizen with any business sense would understand how the integrity of their stated warranty is critical to their success. I did receive a message from their corporate office that they can help me get the parts but when I call this individual he doesn’t answer. Now today I receive a message they no longer make these parts yet advertised on their available parts online. They offer to sell me new blinds at a discount but now the same type of window is completely made of plastic!!! I believe at this point a reasonable solution based on their warranty they should replace all of my purchased window blinds and continue to offer the same warranty as my original purchase.

They make their own shades low quality, but then sell at high prices. Roman Shades are really bad and Honeycomb shades fall apart. Very disappointed with the shades that installed in my home. Not worth the money at all.

Unfortunately, it seems like no one really cares here. Our Sales Rep told us to "call the main number" in California when it took over 2 weeks to get our blinds delivered (he couldn't call?). Calling the main number, we dealt with people who were pleasant but just not helpful or efficient. When installers finally came, one of the shades was the wrong size (really?). No calls from our Sales Rep or emails from anyone about a new install date, etc. I expected more service, more attention to detail. What a disappointment.

So where do I start, alright here it goes. The first time we heard about the company is when we bought our fifth house and this was it, no more buying houses. This was the last house we would buy. In 2015, we asked many window treatment appointment and it looked like they gave the best amount of quotation, but we did not know what was coming next. We did decide to purchase from them, but after 3 years I went back to them. At first it was all good. The shades were ordered and a set of shutters for the master bedroom was ordered at the time of measuring took place, which was on September 1st. Everything was fine, but things started falling down, such as one of the shade landed on the floor without anyone even touching it and later another fell down and this time on someone’s head.
I had already called and complained about the first fall, but when the second one fell and took place I wasn’t gonna let this slip by and asked for an urgent action to be taken. I had to do this because I had just came back from a major surgery and I didn’t want to go anywhere near the shades knowing how sensitive and pained I was already with surgery and all. My fear grow and grow and later I hear from them that they want to exchange out all the shades out into another pair of new ones from the same style and everything just all switched out. Therefore, this was about the product itself and injuries it had occurred.
My other problem is a Contract Breach they did without our acknowledgment and permission of my husband’s signature showing on another contract dated September 10th. Therefore, as we ordered the product, which was on September 1st, we receive a call saying there’s a remaining balance. Although, we financed through Green Sky for the total amount for the entire houses window treatment as well as we did put a downpayment to start the job is what we were acknowledged. The contract with the remaining amount, this contract that we still have no knowledge about comes up with a remaining balance dated September 10th. We have never met anyone upfront from 3 Day Blinds since September 1st so why is there a signature on a new contract with a remaining balance? Is something needing investigation and a good explanation of why???

I ordered blinds through Three Day Blinds. One window was an off the shelf type order for a smaller window. The blinds were nothing you could not get for $29 at Lowe's or Home Depot. I went with it because I thought it would be easier. That window came to $400 installed. Done within a week convenience and impulse. Would not recommend it to anyone as I think there are other alternates equal in appearance but at much less cost.
However the custom blinds were 6 weeks... In addition to going through several visits from the salesperson and install coming to measure. This process went on way too long and I should have cancelled out but by that time I had invested too much time. This added 2 weeks onto the process so lets put total time involved at over 8 weeks. Order initiated 7/3 and installed early September (around the 6th).
Finally the financing debacle left me with a very negative feeling about the whole transaction. I was clear up front that I wanted to use my own credit for at least the majority of the transaction. They offered me financing through GreenSky that would be interest free for a year (starting from the initial interaction). When everything was done the total of the initial financing was through their resource. I was willing to let this pass figuring I would charge the balance to my preferred method for the remaining balance when blinds installed.
I asked the installer and he said it would be taken care of. Next thing I know it was charged to their financing method. I called and the salesperson said that she could not request an adjustment but maybe I could pay a portion of the balance using my card. No go with Greensky on that option. I went back to the salesperson and demanded she get her manager involved. Manager called and left me a message to say it was too late. They had closed their books. I found this odd since it was just charge several weeks ago and called but had to leave a message to that effect.
To this date she has not called me back to explain why she could not handle my request and it has been a month. I resign myself that I would just pay off what is there. However, it leaves HUGE doubts about servicing their expensive blinds based on the customer service I received once they had the money. I would not recommend this business and do not view them as having any integrity. If anyone wanted my advice I would suggest going through Lowe's or Home Depot. Basically same product and I trust they would be able to beat the service of Three Day Blinds on their worst day.

I made the mistake of ordering a blind from this company. 400.00 for one small blind with installation. Three months later and five visits from this company and they still can’t get it right. They all lie and blame each other. I am now throwing the blind in the garbage and asking for a full refund. Save yourself a lot of headaches and don’t buy anything from this company.

From the measurement, to the price, to the installation, to the "customer service" this company fails. Their guarantee is 3 days... 10 days after you actually receive the blinds—which don't fit or aren't what you ordered. They try to gloss it over, but truthfully, they only do what the law requires to make things right, which isn't enough by a long shot. Their customer service reps. are patronizing and unyielding. I would NEVER do business with them again. I disputed their charges with my bank.

I made the mistake of purchasing 3 Day blinds, and I am writing so that other people, at least in South Florida do not make the same mistake. I paid a considerable sum to a nice salesman named James in West Palm Beach for the blinds and, after a month, I was duly contacted by the contractor they use to install the blinds. We agreed on a time. The installer, after agreeing on a day and time and that he would reconfirm the day and time later in the week, did not do so, and accused me of lying when I told him he agreed to come. I had his number on my telephone, by the way, but he denied having ever spoke with me. So, we agreed to another time, and he reconfirmed several times.
The hour of his arrival came and went, and I called him, and he said he had called me but I didn't answer...well, yes, we had confirmed twice the same morning, so I didn't take my phone to a meeting, thinking, logically, that the appointment was confirmed (my husband was waiting for the installer at the condo). I call him, and he is verbally abusive on the phone, and I tell him not to come. I call the installers, and they, after two weeks, send someone else, who installs the blinds incorrectly. I call 3 Day Blinds and they say they have no other installer in West Palm Beach. So--the blinds do not work and a renter is coming to the condo in four days. This is not a professional organization. Avoid them.

I spent thousands of dollars with 3 Day Blinds, just for my bedrooms. Products arrived, and boxes look totally looked fine. Installer came to put the shades on and before he can put it on shades my sliding door one fell apart. This tells me the quality is really not good. Also he didn't do a good job installing the master bedroom window and the bathroom. For the sliding door shades, I don't know when I will be receiving it. A case was open with them, and it's been almost a week since this happened, and I am yet to receive a call. Only emails. Oh by the way, the saleswomen whom sold the shades to me also resigned. That tells me a lot about 3 Day Blinds. I want my money back and you can take your shades.

In late August 2018 I contacted 3 Day Blinds to come out and give me a quote for 6 windows. I was told IN WRITING it would take 7-10 business days to have the blinds fabricated and installed. It took almost 9 weeks! The installer lost the measurements and a month later he had to come out to my house and measure again. That process took another two weeks. While he was installing the blinds I noticed that he drilled into my window frames. I was very upset about that. I cannot and will not recommend 3 Day Blinds. I will go to someone local next time like Home Depot or Lowe's.

I hired 3 Day Blinds to install custom drapes. I have been caught up in 4 month nightmare. I was told by their salesman, Kirk **, that they did their own installation. Not true. They hire incompetent independent contractors. I was forced to pay the full $6,668.00 prior to installation. I was supposed to have my drapes installed in July. Installer showed up unprepared, without proper brackets, the drapes were uneven. I have requested a refund but their main office in Irvine refuses. Their product is expensive, salespeople lie to make sales, 3rd party installers incompetent, customer service office horrible. I have gone to BBB, waste of time. I also asked for a charge back from my credit card company, which is the only action that got their attention. Stay away from this horrible company. They should not be allowed to be in business preying on consumers.

I ordered from 3 Day Blinds on Saturday, September 15, 2019. Yes, I agree with another person who said they were pricey. I will not order again. Anyway, they called me on Monday, September 17, 2018 and told me my order would be in on Friday, September 21, 2018 and wanted to set up an appointment. They took the balance out of my checking account on Wednesday, September 19th and then called me on Thursday, September 20th and told me that only one item was ready and the other two would not be ready until October 5th. Less than 50% of my order was ready and they took the balance. I think these people are crooks. Save yourself and your money. DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM. And, I haven't seen the finished product yet. Now I'm really afraid.

I ordered custom valances from them. Final product was well constructed but flimsy for the high cost. I expected better quality fabric. Sales rep was very nice and seemed knowledgeable. Paid more than half the price up front. One week before my scheduled install date I noticed a large deduction from my checking account without my explicit permission. When I complained, they referred me to the fine print. Thankfully, there was enough money in the account to cover it, but it could have wreaked havoc with bounced checks at 35.00 per bounce to say nothing of demanding 100% of payment before I have received the merchandise. Wrote a letter to the CEO, who apologized, but I have since discovered they have not changed their business practices. Do yourself a favor, work with a local merchant who has a reputation in the community to protect. This company is not good.

It's unfortunate that this company actually creates an expectation of timeliness with their name because our 2-3 week blinds took over a month and then when they came, one was warped and one doesn't fit and it seems that if we follow their protocol, it will be another month before we have replacements. I would never recommend them to anyone.

Sadly I should have read reviews first. Same story. Nice consultant. Ok price. I ordered shutters. They came in three months. What happened to THREE day blinds. This is three month blinds. End product was nice, installer was nice but you better be very, very ,very patient. To top it off, the installer brought the shutters in a box marked “made in China”. I could be wrong but I was under impression they were made in America. Also, my mom ordered regular mini blinds from this company after me and waited over 6 weeks for them. Again, THREE day blinds??? Never again. Go to Lowe’s.

I had never used 3 Day Blinds before but did read some decent reviews so as I had just remodeled kitchen and family room I wanted to replace drapes & mini-blinds. The sales lady who came to my home was helpful and made good recommendations. My problem is not with her or the end product, which seems satisfactory. My complaint is with how they collect their payment. I gave them a check for more than half of the total amount upfront. I was told that they would call me a couple of days before installation to arrange for the "final" payment. I never heard from them so I called the day before installation and was told that they had pulled the "final" payment (over $1800.00) out of my checking account 11 days before the installation was scheduled. I find this very disturbing and it made me very angry. It also caused my account to be overdrawn (the only time in 40 years this has happened to me).
I am not in the habit of making a final payment before I see the end results, but because I liked the product that was presented I agreed - however I find it unconscionable that they would draw money out of my account without first contacting me, especially when the amount was sizable and was done so far in advance of the installation. Therefore, I would not recommend this company to my friends.

I purchased a new home and scheduled a rep from 3 Day Blinds on 7/30 to come there to order blinds. Nothing was "custom" other than the sizes is as usual. I'm a Real Estate Broker and have used and recommended them many times. This time I've not heard from my rep nor the company and it's 8/17. I move in 8/20 so I'll have nothing on any windows. I've called them 2x for update and they just said they should be here soon. Like I said, rep NEVER checked in with me so I won't be recommending this company to any of my clients; in fact, I'll let them know this experience and have them tell their friends. It's disappointing overall as it's usually been about a 3 or 4 stars for me but it's a 1 this time. They should teach their reps and operators better skills in customer service and the rep should know to call me once or twice to see what she could do to assist me. Never again.

The reviews speak for themselves/Avoid this company! We were promised an installation date a month ago. No one called us to let us know that our product had been backordered. We’ve been the ones calling every week for an update. We’ve already been billed for the product and still NO installation date. We have asked to speak to the manager that has zero people skills and responded angrily back at us only to “happily offer a refund.” We are in the real estate business & we will NEVER EVER recommend this unprofessional business.

Had a consultant come to our home. She was friendly and appeared to have knowledge of the product. She gave an initial estimated quote because the 3 windows were too high for her to do an exact measure. Quoted on 3 different styles of blinds. I told her the most expensive option was out... way too much $. The other 2 options, I wanted to see a breakdown and maybe would consider going with the more expensive option on only 2 windows instead of the full 3.
I was told she would e-mail me later that night with the options. I did receive an e-mail but only on the 2 most expensive ones and for all 3 windows. I e-mailed her back and left a VM requesting the quotes on the lower priced option and for only 2 windows as well as the 3. I said this was most likely what we would go with. 1 week later, no return call, no return e-mail and even after completing the company survey... no response from the company. I guess my cheap order wasn't worth wasting their time with. Went with another company, lower priced, great service!

Ordered 1st part of May and just getting call about installation. Buy from Lowe’s and get 21 day guarantee. If I purchase more it will be from Lowe’s. Will give update about satisfaction on shutters after installed.

I ordered my blinds on June 30th, scheduled to install on the 7th (holiday week so I was ok). They called and left a message to tell me the material was delayed so no install. I called back and left a message that I needed a Saturday appt since I work. No return call. I got a call on Wednesday from the installer saying he would be late. Um, no I am at work. No one called me back to schedule an appointment, and certainly not mid week. Well, this is their modus operandi, don't answer the phone, unless corporate calls. Scheduled for the next week during my vacation on Tuesday, and get a reminder saying Wednesday. Ahhh, I have no one to be here Wednesday so I have asked for a full refund. Promised customer service would call me, no call. I am DONE with this company!!! If their product is as bad as their service it is good riddance.

I have no idea if I like the blinds yet as they are not installed yet!! I have spent over 3 hours today trying to get it taken care of. They were supposed to be installed today, but they fired the installer and still haven't passed the paperwork to the new installer. I have spoken to the installer and he said all he needs is the paperwork and he can pick them up from the former installer and install them. The company seems to be a mess with the right hand not knowing what the left hand is doing. The salesman answers his phone very infrequently. He must know we are having a tough time and is avoiding us. It is a serious mess. Oh it has been almost a full month to get our 3 Day Blinds and we still don't have them. Expensive and a major pain in the rump!!! Don't use them! Go somewhere else.

Sales and contract writing went very smoothly. I had to work on the day of the installation in my new home, so I had my sister meet the installer to let him in/out. When I arrived the next morning, I had notice the breakfast nook blinds were installed wrong. I contacted my salesperson Missy. She said she would follow up to get this corrected and that’s the last that I’ve heard of her. I guess when they have your money... that’s all that matters.
The communication is HORRIBLE with this company. From the scheduler Rebecca that says she will call you back & never does (twice this has happened) to the installer Seth who has an excuse & explanation for everything. Two weeks later...my issue has yet to be resolved. I DO NOT recommend this company to anyone... not even my worst enemy. When you pay for overpriced blinds because the company can install it fast for you... BUYER BEWARE! Once they do fix it... I get to fix & repaint the holes left in my new construction dream home. Just ridiculous and very disappointing.

I contacted 3 Day Blinds with the confidence that I would have my blinds completely installed in time for a family party I was having. The salesperson came and did a very thorough job. We chose our blinds and everything went downhill from there. Our installer arrived on time and immediately informed me that my order was incomplete. They sent wrong product in order to show that the order was fulfilled however it just gave us false hope that we would have the blinds in time for our party.
Within two days we were assigned a "case manager". The case manager called me and basically told me I had no recourse. I said that I did not get my 3 Day Blinds that I paid extra for and she was unapologetic. When I pressed her that this was unacceptable she only offered to refund the expedite charge. When I asked to speak to a supervisor it got even worse. The supervisor actually told me he could not guarantee when I would get the rest of my order and stated I don’t want to give you "false hope". 3 Day Blinds should change the name of their company to “3 days of false hope.”

Last Saturday (April 21st 2018) I had a salesperson (Dawn ** - avoid her at ALL COSTS!! As well as this terrible company) come into our home as we were looking for shutters for our large front window and decided on Roman Blinds for the 4 bedroom windows. As soon as we got the quote (which was more than DOUBLE what another (way more reputable) company gave us. Right then and there I shouldn't gone with my gut. I wasn't impressed from the get-go with the salesperson, but continued to give it a chance. She texted (not called but texted) her supervisor to see if it'd be ok if they matched the price of the other company, to which she was told yes, as long as we did it today. So against my better judgment I agreed and we gave them the check for 55% of the purchase price.
She was CLUELESS. The measurements were a joke (she continuously changed the numbers on paper without once remeasuring). I literally had to show her how certain things were done (by how the reputable companies salesperson showed me)... So, I texted her Sunday night (24 hrs after) to let her know that we would be canceling our order and that I'd email the cancel notice first thing in the morning... Which I did. Heard absolutely nothing from her all day. Finally at 8:01 pm I received an email that said it'd be canceled. However, today - 4 DAYS later - we noticed the money was still deducted from our account. And of course no one will answer any calls - including our salesperson! ABSOLUTELY POSITIVELY DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!Their salesperson are ridiculous... Their product is RIDICULOUSLY overpriced and they have the absolute WORST customer service on the face of this earth!!!

The company accessed my checking account without my approval. Then when I asked for my signed documentation which they never gave me they refused by not answering my email requests or calling me to say when I should expect the documents. They also stated that the person who referred them to me would get a discount; this hasn't happened. They are obviously untrustworthy and violated my rights by accessing my account without my written approval. I will be filing a complaint with Consumer Affairs, FTC and the FDIC.

I purchased the blinds on 3/10/18. It is now 4/11/18 and I have yet to receive the blinds. I received an email stating that the blinds will be installed on 3/27/18. Given that I work for a living I contacted the local number provided in the email. No answer. I called that number again and same response. I even called the representative whom I had let into my home on that fateful Saturday afternoon. My gut instinct told me to not make the purchase because I thought that they were affiliated with Costco!
At any rate, the next thing I knew there was an email asking me to provide input on the installation. I thought that was rather strange given that I have yet to lay eyes on anyone with the blinds. I therefore answered the survey stating that very fact. I then received a telephone call from 3 Day Blinds and I wasted yet more of my time going through the narrative. The second person from the company then called to state that in addition to the email I should have received a telephone call setting up the date and time of my choosing none of which of course occurred.
I then received a call from the local installer who then proceeded to give me a weekday schedule. I started to ask how many times must I repeat myself regarding no weekday installation? Before I could finish my thought I was met with insulting remarks about how this is the first time I am talking to you, I don't know anything about any of this etc etc. It was on a Friday afternoon and I was not about to elevate my blood pressure and so I simply got off the phone. The next phone call was from the previous person I had spoken to who assured me that they will get an installer from the Orlando area because I made it crystal clear to him that I do not under any circumstance want the current installer in my home.
I also stated that I will contact my credit card company and sever all ties with 3 Day Blinds because it simply too much nonsensical drama for which I have neither the time nor the energy. He agreed that I should be going through it and that it is entirely up to me if I wanted to sever all ties but that he will try to find another installer. An entire week went by without any communication from anyone. And so I did the next best thing for me. I called Capital One and narrated the entire experience. They then reversed the charges.
Today, exactly 32 days of my making the purchase I received a phone call from a person from 3 Day Blinds stating that I cannot sever ties and that they can work out a credit of some sort. My response was very simple..."Oh yes I can and I have and the next time get honest, competent people to represent your company." The utter and sheer arrogance that she thinks should could tell me that there is an agreement when they have not held up their end of the agreement and that I should not consider it a personal affront to being lied to explains why consumers have given them 1 stars across the board. I intend on reading reviews in the future before embarking on another business relationship with any company. If I had done my homework I would not have found myself in this horrible mess. I wish there was a ZERO star but since that is not an option I will settle for one star.

We recently built and closed on our new home in Austin, Texas. I contacted 3 Day Blinds for a quote for window treatments. Diane the sales person was awesome pre installation. We paid for expedite service to have the installed in three days. The installer arrived on the 3rd day and installed the blinds. The motor blinds were not working properly so he indicated that new motors would be ordered. It has been almost a month and we have three blinds in major areas that are inoperable due to motor issues. We were assigned to a case manager "Crystal" who has not been very helpful in getting the situation resolved. The total cost of the blinds we chose is almost 5K. I am extremely unsatisfied with the product, quality and customer service experience and we are currently reviewing our legal options since we financed the blinds and the company has not met its obligations. I would never recommend this company. Buyer beware.

I made a purchase the early part of February. The blinds showed up as promised but I was dissatisfied with the design and installation. I purchased Roman Shades for the kitchen. I was told the ends would wrap so the ends would have a finished look. I agreed that would be fine. During the sale, I was not told the pull cord would be underneath the blind so every time I want to open the blinds, I have to lift up the blind and locate the pull cord to raise the blind. In closing the blind, the cord is easily located but the blind ends up laying on my arm as I lower the blind because it doesn't lay flat due to the cord being underneath. The blinds in the front room are top down bottom up. I was told it would be easier to open the center window if I had pull cords because I had a table in front of the window. I agreed. When the blinds were installed, the blind would catch on the window every time I opened it.
After 2 email attempts to the sales rep and 2 emails to the company, I finally had the installer out to my house on the 28th of March. He added two brackets to the front window to pull the cords, one on each side, away from the window so the blinds wouldn't catch on the window. Nothing could be done with the Roman shade in the kitchen because "that's how it was designed". I have sent replies to the customer survey and still haven't heard anything. If the installer had checked the blinds, he should've known the kitchen blinds wouldn't open without lifting the blind and that the front blinds wouldn't open without catching on the window. He never went over the operation of the blinds with my son. If he had, he would've noticed the problem.
I don't like the brackets on the front blind. He should've called and discussed my options before adding the bracket. If I would've known how the blinds turned out, I would've preferred no cords on the front blinds and a top down bottom up blind in my kitchen but I was led to believe what was ordered was the better option. The sales rep should've been more clear on what was being ordered and the installer should've had more communication with me. Now I'm stuck with a substantial dollar amount in purchases I'm not happy with. I was told 3 Day Blinds was a great company and were reasonably priced. I paid over $3800 for 9 blinds and I'm not satisfied.

On January 13, 2018 a designer representing 3 Day Blinds came to my house and we selected solar shades along with some Roman shades. The total cost was $4,998.35. About three weeks later, we received the solar shades and were told that the Roman shades were in production. At the end of February and many promises later, I was told that the order for the shades had been CANCELLED not once, but TWICE. By this time, a “case manager” has been assigned to handle the order which arrived today, MARCH 20. The shades were not what we ordered on JANUARY 13. Now I am being told that I cannot get a refund because there is a 30 day cancellation period. ARE YOU KIDDING ME?? This whole thing has been a nightmare. All I wanted were some Roman shades for five windows. Don’t bother using this company unless you want continued delays, excuses and frustrations.

The reason we used 3 Day Blinds was because we needed the blinds installed ASAP. We paid extra for expedited shipping and was promised the delivery and installation in 3 days. After paying the nightmare started. We were called and told the tech was going back to his home state (3 Day Blinds uses subs in Florida). Then we were called and told the shipment was delayed then we were told we had to wait because the local tech quit (this was after we were told the only tech they had was from TX) and finally told we had to wait because they had another customer to install before use.
Once the installation started they shipped the wrong valance and a shade for the kitchen. We also purchased a five channel remote and was given a single channel. We have just completed the work 6 weeks later and then the original promised date. Customer service tried to help but they have very limited authority or capabilities to really resolve any problems. In summary stay away from 3 Day Blinds. Find a local supplier and installation company, you may have to wait a few days longer but it will be worth it.

I met with a consultant and agreed to purchase Top Down Bottom Up blinds. They sent standard blinds. In order to resolve the issue, I was forced to pay an "upgrade" fee to get the blinds I thought I already purchased. I was already locked into the contract and had no way to back out or return the standard blinds. I had no choice to pay more than what I already agreed to, to get the product I wanted.

I ordered 38 blinds from 3 Day Blinds on Oct 23rd 2017. The blinds were installed mid November. Most of the blinds were mismeasured as the installer acknowledged himself. One week later the first blind started to warp and many are badly warped by now - it is winter = cold outside! This was reported to the company by me and the installer who had to come out to finish the install that is still not finished! The company has two kind of blinds - vinyl and wood. I have two big windows with wood and the rest vinyl. Both wood and vinyl are warping and don't close properly. They now want to replace the blinds with the same product which makes no sense because the same thing will happen with the same product.
Many homes here in Sedona have blinds and I have never seen them warp - it is the company's quality that lets them warp. This is a rental property and I need to rent it out and definitely don't want to spend months waiting for the company to finally realize they don't have the right product for my needs. I kept calling and reporting the issue for months now but they don't return calls. Desired Resolution: Refund. Desired Outcome. I need them to uninstall their blinds and give me a full refund. If they don't want to uninstall and re-install the window coverings I had I will take care of it myself but I do need my $12.625,66 back.

I had salesperson come to home. She didn't even explain different products. She just went right to figuring out cost. I said I thought that was high. She said, "Our blinds are metal. We don't sell vinyl blinds." Decided to buy. She also said lifetime guarantee. Both were not true. After researching web page. I called and no one wants to talk to me now. They call it 3 Day Blinds and week and half before coming to install. I also was told they would install at my convenient and was told if After a week if I didn't take 8:30 appt. I would have to work another week. I am handicapped and not good in morning but no one cares now. They got 780.00 from me. They aren't coming for three days and had nerve after all this to ask for rest payment before. "No way," I told them. "When they are installed and I am satisfied I will pay balance." Very bad business. Five different people involved and no one wants to talk after they got my money. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone.

3 Day Blinds used to be a great company when they had local stores, now you are in contact with an 800 number, and people that who are not familiar with how they are made or what parts may be needed. My blinds are older and in need of some repairs (broken wands, broken pulls, and the bottom plate had come off of some of the blinds, this home has been rented for the past 6 years to an older lady).
Upon my request for a repair person to come out and make a list of all the parts that would be needed to fix them they asked for $85.00 for a service call, which I gladly paid. Upon speaking with this customer service person, she had no clue about anything I was telling her, I wondered if she had seen one of their blinds. The service person came out and I spoke with him over the phone and asked him to please check all the blinds while he was there and so I could walk him through the problems I was aware of. He informed me that a button usually on the bottom of the blinds would not work for my blinds because of the width of the decorative tapes, and that the same part would have to go back on, and that they could be repaired in their original manner. That was acceptable to me.
Now 3 weeks later I just received an email stating that the buttons have been discontinued, which we had decided wouldn't work for my blinds. Now this customer service person is telling me to have a service person go out and check to see what parts will be needed is going to cost me $200.00, I emailed her and said he has already done that, he just needs to put the parts on. All of these parts have a lifetime guarantee. They need to hire experienced people who know how the function of the blinds work, so they can offer better customer service. I am assuming they have been sold since all stores have been closed.

On 11/25/17, a design consultant came to my home to measure the windows and sliding glass door for my home. The consultant arrived earlier than scheduled, but I made the adjustments with the anticipation that I would finish sooner. The consultant was at my home for more than 3 hours, which was spent on measurements and selecting the product. Upon completing the estimate the consultant provided me an estimate of over $1800. The design consultant was requesting 51% deposit and I informed her the price was out of my budget. The design consultant then recommended that I could break the project up into small parts and thus I decided to go with the recommendation and asked that I have the verticals for the sliding glass door first.
To my dismay, the design consultant deleted all other measurements. Although she assured me that she could get the measurements for the other windows back, she stated that she was having difficulties with obtaining all other measurements outside of the measurements for the sliding glass door. I decided to move forward with the payment for the verticals for the sliding glass door. I made a 51% deposit and the consultant told me that she wanted to make sure that the measurements for my sliding door was accurate and that someone would be calling me on Monday 11/27/17 to come out and re-measure. No one had called me on Monday, 11/27/17, thus I called the company on Tuesday, 11/28/17. I informed the customer service agent that I was going away for a few days for a cruise and I demanded that someone come out prior to my departure. Someone came out on Sunday, December 3rd to do the re-measure.
On December 11th I called 3 Day Blinds because my install date of December 16th was approaching and I had not heard from anyone. Upon notifying the customer service that my install date was approaching and that I had not heard from anyone that I was concerned the customer service representative was so rude and continued to remind me that I signed a contract and that the anticipated install date was only an estimation and not a guarantee. I asked to speak with his supervisor and was directed to Jodi **. Jodi ** stated that she would look into the contract and get back with me ASAP. To my dismay, Jodi too began to remind me that I signed a contract that stated that the install date was an estimation and not a guarantee. Jodi went further to remind me that "I had the option to not move forward with the install at the time of the consultation.
I then reminded Jodi that the design consultant talked to the company being in Riverview where I reside and that the company has never had any issues with delays. Thus, based upon the assurances of the design consultant I chose to go through and put down a deposit of 51%. December 16th came and went. I notified the blind company that I will be cutting my losses and not moving forward with the deal as I am very dissatisfied with the company and personally believe 3 Day Blinds is a scam. The design consultant hasn't returned any of my calls and Jodi **, the lead has been downright rude, cruel, and nasty in my interactions with her.

3 Day Blinds phone agents lied to me and it’s going to cost me over $2,500 to fix. I've purchased a standard honeycomb shade and three dual-shades from 3 Day Blinds for four windows in my home since May 2016. I recently had the windows in my home replaced. At the beginning of this process, I contacted 3 Day Blinds to inquire about having my blinds' length cut down, per the dimensions on my newly installed and soon-to-be trimmed windows. I was told that for an $85 visit fee and $40 cut fee per shade that my shades could be picked up at my house, cut down, and returned to me.
With the knowledge that my shades could be cut down, I told my contractor not to worry about matching the window opening to my shade length, but to focus on installing the trim to look its best. Now that the work is complete, I contacted 3 Day Blinds to schedule the home visit and trimming of my shades. I was informed that 3 Day Blinds does not trim shades. They were sorry I was misinformed, but that's their policy. There is nothing they can do for me -- except help me order $2,500+ of new shades! Buyer beware in trusting 3 Day Blinds.

Very unhappy how my shades fit my windows. When I ordered them I was not told these shades would not fit my windows properly. They stick out about an inch and a half from my windows. Plus I was told there would be no pulls on them and there was. When I complained, I was told I could order new ones with a 30% discount. I already paid thousands of dollars for the ones I have. This is what happens when you pay for something before it is installed.

The total cost for two backdoor window shades, with a promotional discount, came to a little under $600. I expected this. But along with that cost, I expect a certain level of service. The initial appointment was great. The designer was prompt and courteous. He was friendly, offered suggestions, but wasn't pushy. He brought along with him many samples for me to see. I felt good about the first visit. First impressions are important. Well, it's been downhill fast ever since!
3 Day Blinds contracts out their installations, which is fine. But, they should remain integrated in the process more than the level I have seen. Basically, 3 Day Blinds is out of the picture once the order is placed by the customer. This is a huge disappointment, especially when there is an issue with either the installation or the finished product. In my case, there was an issue with both, the installation and the finished product that was delivered to the installer to install. From my experience, there is a huge disconnect between the installation process and 3 Day Blinds.
Before my initial design consultation, I updated 3 Day Blinds with my cell phone because all they had on my file is my work number. I made a point to call 3 Day Blinds and ask them to remove my office number and add my cell. The representative I spoke to seemed efficient, and said she changed the number for me. However, I soon came to realize that something must have gone wrong because the installers only had my office number to reach me. How or why, I have no idea. But, it caused many problems during the installation phase.
Once my finished product was shipped, I received an auto generated email from 3 Day Blinds advising me of the shipment. Once received by the installers, I am supposed to receive a call from the installer to schedule my installation. I never received a call. So, I called the installer number that is listed in the shipment email notification from 3 Day Blinds. I scheduled my own installation appointment with the installer directly, and was told by the installer that I would receive an installation appointment confirmation email, and that the installer will call me about 30 minutes before his arrival since the appointment time is a block window of time. I reiterated to the installation company to be sure to call my cell phone, and once again gave it to them. I even asked the rep to repeat it back to me.
On the day of the installation (SATURDAY), I was home waiting…and waiting. I never received a call from the installer. I called the installation company 1-hr after my appointment time had passed to inquire about the status of the installer. I left a message on their voicemail to advise that the installer never showed up and never called me. I called back again on Monday morning about the installer missing the appointment, and left another message detailing out the situation, and once again leaving my cell number. I never received a call back.
I called again on Tuesday morning, this time, someone answered the phone. It was the same woman with whom I had spoken the week before when the installation appointment was scheduled. She was very nice and apologized, and then told me they had been calling my office number. I asked her WHY, considering I had changed the number on file, and always left my cell in the 3 voicemail messages I had left with the installation company. Her response was, “You will need to call 3 Day Blinds to correct it.” I had already corrected it before the initial consultation! I had also always given the installation company MY CORRECT CONTACT NUMBER. So, evidently because the installer supposedly called my office number and did not reach me on the day of the installation, DESPITE THEM EMAILING ME A CONFIRMATION EMAIL, the installer did not fulfill the installation appointment.
What a ridiculous waste of time! I scheduled yet another installation appointment with the installation company. Once again, I reiterated to the installation company that my office number is not where I can be reached. My installation appointment was scheduled for 5 days after my first installation appointment, 12 days after I placed the order with the designer. The installer had a window of 3-5pm for my installation. He did not arrive until 6:30pm. The installer was very nice. He installed the two shades, and even pointed out to me that both of the shades were made incorrectly. The roll direction was not what I ordered. So, he said he would get in touch with 3 Day Blinds, advise them of the error in the roll direction, place a replacement order, and that the installation company would call me to schedule the re-installation once they receive the replacement shades.
It’s now been 3 weeks since I placed the order and I STILL do not have the shades I ordered! “THREE DAY” Blinds, not accurate! I received a “courtesy care” email and phone call (left me a voicemail) from 3 Day Blinds asking about my experience. Via phone and email, I expressed my discontent at the level of service and lack of competence I’ve received in the handling of my order by 3 Day Blinds and their installation. The response, which I received 2 days later expressed no apologies for any part of my complaint. I will NEVER use 3 Day Blinds again. There are other companies who have the same products, for the same prices, but have better reviews.

I am completely unsatisfied with this unsafe product and I told the installer right away at my home and he reviewed the product to not fit the sides of the inside window sill. I told him to take back and he said he would write a note. I called right away and was told she, Ramona at Customer Service said she would review. It is terrible product that does not fit within the window and I have been told it is normal and you can see within each side into my home. I asked for my money back and she said she would not refund me. I asked about their motto of highest customer service and she said that they cannot refund. This is uncalled for. This was one blind for $630.00. I do not want a new blind, I want my money returned.

So this is our second time around with 3 Day Blinds. I figured our first disappointing experience with them had to be an anomaly so chose to try doing business with them again. We needed blinds for five floor to ceiling windows. The consultant comes out and measures the windows. Husband tells her at least four times about our last experience with missing spacers for the blinds and she assures him the spacers will be shipped with the blinds. An appointment is set five days later and the installer comes out (initially an hour early - we weren't home so he left and did not plan on coming back, coming back only because the company insisted he come back) only to find there are no spacers so he cannot hang the blinds.
Installation appointment #2 is set and they show up with spacers but not the right type of screw to hang the blinds. During this time we are living with glare in the house during the day and a sense of living in a glass house at night. Installation appointment #3 is set and he comes out and can only hang four out of the five blinds because yet again he doesn't have all the proper equipment with which to hang the blinds. Installation appointment #4 is set and he comes out and gets the fifth blind hung but cannot correct gaps in the valance so it is decided to recut the valance and place a keystone in the center to hide the gap where the two boards come together.
Installation #5 appointment is set and he comes out and hangs the new valance and places the keystone, which is off center. Three months have now passed since they came out, insisted on full payment up front and cashed the check while the ink was still wet. How they stay in business is beyond me. We won't be using them again - ever.

This is the worse experience I had in my life. The installers were classless and unprofessional, they look like homeless people and drug addicts. They don't even use good language, I wonder how can your company have this kind of useless people! They didn't wear shoe cover and bring all the dirt from outside to my living room, they kept the frame and panels on my sofa sets and ripped it off, bought 7 windows, installed 6, and one they broke. Out of the 6, one was damaged and another one was not aligned since it was not measured properly. They will have to remove this 2 and put it back again.
Now pls ask them to come and measure the one that was not aligned with the other windows? My living room looks so ugly now, I have my son's birthday party on 9th and around 20 families will come. This is going to be embarrassing! This is so bad man! Above all, I wonder why this person does not know how to use the restroom??? One of the installers used the restroom and they didn't flush the toilet, there was poop on the toilet and on the floor, when I asked them about this they started arguing with me.
I called your office and spoke with one supervisor named Joseph, while I was on the phone I asked this guy that you have to clean my toilet before leaving and the guy who messed up the toilet cleaned all the poop. This is just ridiculous Corey, and I am serious about this. I will never ever recommend you guys to anyone and also will try my best to depromote you guys by all the means I have. How can these installers be this rude? I just kicked them out of my home.

I wish I had read all these reviews before I contacted and contracted with 3 Day Blinds. The honeycomb shades did not fit, did not cover the windows and provide privacy and light filtering which were my two criteria. 3 Day Blinds wouldn't refund my money because they said they were "custom made." Really? If they were customized why didn't they fit? Then they overcharged me for a product I was looking at before the honeycombs. I did not realize that. Oh yes, 3 Day Blinds wants to access your credit card and take monies out. I advised 4 days ago not to do this anymore, and they are trying to do it again today. It has taken me two months to be able to find something that will fit my French doors. However, the product is not produced by 3 Day Blinds which is a good thing, because maybe they'll fit.
Anyway, the Hunter Douglas vertical honeycomb which is the only thing that will work on my door, but which no one ever even suggested, is more expensive and 3 Day will not compensate me for my time, inconvenience, being overcharged, lack of privacy and security. The "case manager" I dealt with at Home Office wrote and told me "You never requested compensation," to which I replied, "it should have been offered by you." Her response was that when everything is complete (my having paid for all their rip off products) that she would "consider" compensation. Linna is her name and she represents the quality of their products to a tee -- need I say more. I asked Linna to have one of her supervisors contact me immediately. Crickets, as I have heard nothing.
If anyone is interested in doing a Class Action suit against 3 Day Blinds, let me know. This is absolutely ridiculous and these people need to be held accountable. It is not right to treat clients this way. If it weren't for customers they would not be in business. We pay for their salaries!!! I can stand outside my bedroom window and look straight in and see my bed. I have been barricading boxes around my bed for over two months so I will feel safe. DO NOT BUY FROM THESE PEOPLE; YOU WILL BE SORRY!!!

I already have cordless blinds from 3Day Blinds before. Then I ordered more for the rest of the rooms, but blinds WITH CORDS was placed for my order. Now that everything was paid for & several messages were left from their rep. nobody's returning my call, this is very frustrating. What a customer service!!! NEVER AGAIN!!!

Has to be one of the worst customer service I've ever come across... but oh so nice until after the order was placed, paid for, then installed. Once that was all completed, they didn't give a ** about us. Ordered 4 custom blinds for my condo that cost around $2400.00. Was told when I ordered them that it was "Lifetime Guaranteed" that if they didn't work properly or parts were needed they would be replaced. One of the main reasons that we decided to buy the blinds from 3 Day Blinds. Well 2-1/2 years later everyone of the blinds aren't working properly. Called and told them what was happening, and now I was told it's a "LIMITED Lifetime Guarantee". A service person would come out but we had to pre-pay $87.00 in order for them to set up an appointment, which they would notify us in 3 to 5 days for an appointment.
Not only were these blinds way too expensive to begin with, but they sold them to us under false pretenses. There was no such thing as a LIMITED lifetime guarantee when we bought them. If you're considering buying anything from them I would definitely make sure what you hear is the truth, and get it in writing, not in some small contract print after the fact that you already purchased them.

I made a purchase of custom flat shades for my kitchen, dining room, 2 sets of french doors, 1 large shade above french doors in kitchen, one large shade above the three windows in my dining room, 2 shades also mounted above trim in my living room finally 1 blind for a single door in my living room. The cost amounting to almost $6000.00. I called three days after install with issues that needed to be addressed.
The large shade in the dining room over the three windows is not straight, there are no corner returns so the end of the shade especially the ones over the trim show bright white wood instead of material. One of the kitchen blinds had a spot so they order a new one with the wrong cord. The installer put it up left in a hurry with my other shade and I had to take the spotted one back and he ruined that cord. I had a second opinion from BJ Blinds and Drapery's on my issues. She was appalled. My first contact with "Steve **" was about a week after install he sent the installer to my home to take pictures twice and said he sees nothing wrong!! Maybe he should look at them in my home rather than making that decision from his office in California REALLY...
I called again customer care and filed a second complaint and asked that Steve ** not be involved because he's no help! So who calls me Steve **. I told him I really did not want to deal with him. He said he'd pass that on. No calls to help me since. They are not a company that stands by their product. Once they have your money you're dead to them. I blame myself for not reading the other reviews. I'm a senior citizen and live on a fixed income. I saved over two years for my window treatments. SHAME ON THEM!!!

I ordered roller blinds for my (whole) home. The consultant was lovely but I waited more than one month for word that the shades were ready for my home. Finally, I called the consultant back - they had the wrong telephone number. I asked the consultant to change it. She said she did. Again, I waited. Called her back. No response this time. Called the company. Not customer service friendly at all. Finally got a partial install. The installer reeked of cigarette smoke. Left blinds uninstalled. I called company back. Again, not customer friendly. Second phase install. The texture of the blinds didn't match those that had already been installed. Called customer service. No help. Just open a ticket. Oh, they still had the wrong phone number. Finally got someone to listen, and here comes consultant to help me re-select 7 blinds. Waiting again. 3+ months of this and I'm tired of their snotty, irritable customer service people. Also know that the installation people are a separate company - NEVER AGAIN.

Please, please, consider not making any deals with this company. They are terribly expensive. Their products are not worth thousands of dollars. I was told I didn't have to pay the balance until the installation was all done. They came to install the blinds, and one of the panels was missing pins, the installer left in a rush leaving the panel on the floor without even saying goodbye. The company sent me an email about paying the balance saying that it was due before the installation. I paid it all, and 2 weeks later the job still was not done. Anyone would think that as a courtesy you won't pay a balance until all services are complete. I had to call them numerous times to have them "finish" the order, as of today I am still waiting for someone to call me back. Worse company ever. May as well just throw your money in the garbage. Very expensive and not worth it!

I wish I had done more research on companies, especially 3 Day Blinds, as I have now seen many complaints about the "customer satisfaction" they supposedly guarantee with every mission statement at the bottom of every form and correspondence! I'm appalled they have an A+ rating on the BBB, as this is not reflected on ratings and comments I've seen. I had the usual experience of a very nice and helpful sales rep. Presley ** come to my home, measure and show me choices for venetian window/door blinds for my entire house, contract to sell me such, with a credit card for 1/2 down payment of $3,000 - unbeknownst to me this included an auto charge for the remainder of the blinds upon installation. Never recommend this, as I learned limits your dispute chances w/o great effort on your part to dispute it with your credit card company!
The blinds arrived, installed and the French door blinds had to be moved as they were interfering w/ the doors opening completely, the windows installed on an outside mount, which the sales rep recommended for total darkness in my bedrooms and entertainment room - they have total light leak around all windows. 3 Day Blinds blamed the installers that it was a new/different type of process, therefore not their fault. I was given only the choice of new replacement blinds, at my expense, 30% off and had to do it within 30 days, only after great problems contacting them. As another customer put it, they lost my business after spending over $6,000. Do Not do business with this company. Very poor "customer service".

I ordered blinds from 3 Day Blinds for my home that I had just remodeled, and the quality of the more expensive blinds was extremely poor. I had pinch pleated blinds put in on my French doors and windows in my living room and the first time I tried to raise them the pull fell apart in my hand. The installer told me to use a little glue on it. The dark "wooden" blinds in my bedrooms were put in backwards. I complained and they sent a different installer that apologized and rehung them properly along with rehanging the French door blinds that were extremely crooked. The only ones that have stood up are the least expensive white ones. All in all I won't buy from them again.
