I bought an XBOX 360 towards the end of December of 2005 - approx. 12/24/2005. The product began to malfunction almost immediatley. I though maybe it was the game that was the problem, but the 'box' would freeze up regardless of the game I played. I was preparing to move into my new condominium, so I didn't take care of the issue right away. I finally reported the problem May 5, 2006, being that I hadn't taken my Xbox 360 out of the box I had it stored in. Xbox support offered to repair my box if I sent it in, so, I did. About a few days later I called in, and a Microsoft support rep. informed me that I was being sent a brand new. A few days after that I receive a note from UPS telling me they attempted to deliver my package and the next time and day they would attempt again. I then called UPS and asked for that package to be delivered to a UPS store so I could pick it up the next day.

Once I received my package, I attempted to play on the Xbox 360. And it worked for a few minutes, but it still had the same problem. It would freeze up. I even attempted to play a brand new game - no luck. So, I called to report the trouble again, and this is when I find out that it isn't my original box - it's a 'refurbished' one! It turns out this is how Xbox 360 support handles their repair issues. They send you a box someone else paid for and reported problems on, and they CAN NOT track or tell you where your original box is. After arguing with a supervisor about locating my original box, I agree to send the second Xbox 360 in for repair, since I have no choice - it doesn't work.

So, I wait for another Xbox 360 to be sent to me, hoping I get one that works. On, Saturday July 15, 2006 I search the UPS tracking number I was given by a Xbox 360 support rep. and on the UPS website it says my packaged had been delivered at 11:47A.M. on July 13, 2006. I now call Xbox 360 support to ask them about it, being that I DID NOT RECEIVE A PACKAGE. They escalate my trouble report so they can investigate where my package is, but it's been over a week and they have not contacted me. I've called and asked what the status is and they have nothing to say to me, except We're looking into it, but it'd be better if YOU contact UPS to find your package. It's July 23, 2006 now, and I still haven't heard from them. Each time I've called in they've just given me the run around. I'm out of patience and an Xbox 360.

$432.89 - cost of Xbox 360, Microsoft will not refund this amount nor exchange for a new or working Xbox 360

I placed a Pre-order for an XBOX 360 in May of 2005, in the amount of $50. It is over a year now and I have not received the product. The receipt say's No refund. Unopend items can be exchanged for an item of equal or less value. I have called numerous times to see if they have the XBOX and they do not. When I ask the sales person why he doesn't have the product, he says, I don't know. I could go anywhere and get a 360 now, but they have fifty of my hard-earned dollars. You could say Well, why don't you just exchange it for a game and go buy your xbox somewhere else? I would do that if they had more than 5 poor games to choose from. (I would be insane to ask them to order a game for me.) I just want my XBOX 360 or my $50. That's all. If I would have known this from the beginning I would have invested that $50 and actually had a return on it. As I'm sure they have done.

    No game system. No refund.

I purchased an xbox 360 during xmas. I bought the expensive pack with the hard drive and the wireless controller and 1 game. The cost of the purchase was over $700. I have had the system and still only 1 game(though I have rented a few) for 6 months and have been having problems with it. I really do not play that much as I have a family and a full time job. So I call their help line 1 800 4my xbox. and deal with 3 different people. As it turns out in the end the hard drive that I had to pay extra money for in the first place is bad and they do not cover any issue with it. As for the console their may be an issue also which will cost me a minimum of $159 for repairs plus my shipping a 10 pound paper weight. So for me to fix the console and buy a new hard drive this system has cost me $1000. As for their warranty, they only cover a 90 day period on the console itself and if the hard drive is what broke the console then it is my bad luck.

All I got from microsoft is a big i dont know concerning microsotf passports and xbox live and account information. no answers and no phone numbers or contacts to solve my problem.

I didnt lose money. there was just a lack of customer support and that i was nothing to them. everytime i called i got different answers for the same question, it was like they were just waiting for me to close the account and open a new one. it took three hours of talking on the phone and a supervisor to figure that out. i just wanted to make it clear that microsoft passports is differnt than microsofts xbox but they work with eachother to accomplish a goal and microdoft passports was not to be found and microsofts xbox live phone support had no answers and gave me the run around.

I bought a computer and paid on monthly installments and they promised to send me a game XBox once the computer was paid in full which has been paid since December 2005, to this date I still have not received such game and I call every week and they tell me that the matter will be resolved in a week or so. I can only speak to customer service since they do not even have a number for management.

I paid for an item which I never received plus my kids have been expecting this game.

I had purchased an XBOX 360 along with a game at Target. Two days later the XBOX started to freeze up, so instead of dealing with the hassel of getting it fixed I decided to take it back along with the game. I know that returnung games that have been opened is not allowed but the game system had scratced the game and I was however returning the XBOX. The customer service people told me that they could not return the game but could exchange it for another one. How much scence does that make when I'm returning the XBOX system.

Out of no where another lady don't know who she was because she did not introduce herself, stated to talk very condatinding to me that only made the situation worse!!! I decide to exchange the game they then tell me they have to open it. What!!!! I told them I did not buy it opened why are you opening it? The lady had the nerve to say to me I don't know that I asked for a gift card in the amount of the game they told me no and that I could call the 1-800 # but they would tell me the same thing. They were not in anyway customer friendly. I feel that their should ALWAYS be an exception to the rule!!! It's not like I went in their with only the game and no game system.

Other customers had to listen to things get nasty. I lost $60.00 and ended up with a game I can't play.
